- 0:05Drama Darling Drama Darling Drama Darling. Hello, everybody, welcome back to Drama
- 0:21Darling. It's me Amy Phillips. Volume up today, guys. Emily Dteresis
- 0:26is here. Hi, EM's hello, Good day to you and one and
- 0:31all. Oh my gosh, we are You know, it's still rainy in
- 0:35gorgeous California, but that won't stop us from doing a double recap today of
- 0:41Miami and the premiere episode of Below Deck. Yes, I'm very excited about
- 0:49this new season a below Deck. It's really like to have Captain Lenot be.
- 0:55There is still a hurdle that I am still trying to to get over.
- 1:00I mean, I didn't even mean to say hurdle because I always use
- 1:03this, Whatever you do is going to have hurdles. And it's because below
- 1:07Deck where we have to get you know, used to this new captain,
- 1:11Captain Carry, and I you know, it's tough. Yeah, And I
- 1:17guess, like I didn't watch Below Deck Adventure Town often or whatever that one
- 1:22was. It was Adventure Town. That's exactly what I mean. He knows
- 1:26the game at least like he is great. He's great. There's nothing wrong
- 1:33with Captain Carry. I love Captain Carry, he's great. Just want to,
- 1:36you know, give him a little noogie on his head, you know,
- 1:38I just want to. Yeah, until then he'll fire me because he's
- 1:42no nonsense, as he said. But you know, it's just like the
- 1:47second I hear below Deck the original, I'm expecting to see Captain Lee and
- 1:51he's not there, and it's tough. Yeah, you know, we're going
- 1:56to get through it. We'll get through it. Okay, all right,
- 1:57thank god flow Emily. We have a little bit of dish today. We
- 2:05don't want to spend too much time because we've got two recaps, but let's
- 2:08get into serving dish volume up. I don't think we didn't forget about that,
- 2:20guys. Okay, So, gee, Amy, is there a Kim
- 2:24and Kroix story? Actually, no, there isn't. I it. I
- 2:29scrapped it. We have, you know, basically like every time I do
- 2:36a Kim and kroy story, I get paid. I'm kidding. Wouldn't that
- 2:39be great? Yeah, that's where all their money goes. Yeah, I
- 2:44know they're paying drama Darling. So I'm scrolling through, of course, over
- 2:50the Darling account of Queens of Bravo, and they said they have a post.
- 2:54According to the Neighborhood Talk, Kenya Moore and Portia Williams will term for
- 3:00the next season of Atlanta. They posted Neighborhood Talk saying, neighbors, that's
- 3:07been a lot of chatter about which ladies will be returning for season sixteen.
- 3:10Well, we can confirm that two Ogs will be a part of the cast,
- 3:15they said. We spoke exclusively with close sources to the Peaches who confirmed
- 3:21that Porschae Williams and Kenymore are locked in for season sixteen. Now, we
- 3:24haven't seen Porsche since she left the franchise after season thirteen. Blahbadie blah.
- 3:30Now that is where we're landing. That is the word on the street.
- 3:38I don't know if it's real. These are obviously it's not confirmed. This
- 3:40is what it is, right, Well, I mean we've been hearing a
- 3:45lot of OG's for Atlanta. I mean I have I've heard Niini maybe despite
- 3:51all the Bethany stuff, and I've heard uh, I mean I've heard yeah.
- 3:57I Just here's the thing, Like, then it makes it so it
- 4:00doesn't make sense then that Candy has gone. Like if they're bringing OG's left
- 4:05back, then they should have Candy. I don't remember. Are favor in
- 4:11Candy Okay? Well, no, they're not. Yeah, so I'm wondering
- 4:15if that might be part of it. But I haven't seen I've seen more
- 4:18of Porsche Nini. I mean, Kenya has been on the show, so
- 4:28I don't know. I haven't seen much of I haven't seen much of Phaedra
- 4:38because she was unmarried to med. You know, she's just killing it,
- 4:43but she's on everything. Yeah, I mean she's yeah, so I can't
- 4:47I don't know if i'd see her coming back. Yeah, it's a real
- 4:54head scratcher. But if like if Porscha comes back and Kenya's there, like
- 5:00I just feel and Nini comes back, I feel like Candy should be there.
- 5:05Although Candy and Nini I'm not sure if they're okay or not. I
- 5:11mean, I know they've had differences, but I feel like they could definitely
- 5:14get past them. Yeah, I mean, is Cynthia coming back Cynthia Bailey?
- 5:20Is there any thought of that. I haven't heard a word about that.
- 5:25Yeah, Okay, I don't think so. Yeah, Cynthia's been around
- 5:29doing stuff. I don't know is interesting to think of, like reviving the
- 5:34show, not with the new cast, but with the old cast. That's
- 5:38a cool twist. So I don't know, it'd be kind of I mean,
- 5:42of the current cast. I think I would like I mean, I'm
- 5:47fine with everyone returning as long as we have a little Nini in there.
- 5:51I think that would be very helpful. I really would love to see drop
- 5:56it with Drew back. San's her strange husband, you know. Like,
- 6:03so that's where I'm at with that. Just oh gosh, and Marla,
- 6:10no, Marlow, did you say marl Arlowrla? I'm so wasted you guys.
- 6:15I was like, that must be her Maryland accent. No, no,
- 6:17no, I said Marla. I've always I often say it. I
- 6:21often put an A on the end. Good for you, you know,
- 6:25But that's again, I think that's Maryland accent. I mean I noticed well,
- 6:29I mean for decades, I've done that to her, since she was
- 6:33a friend of Yeah, I've always called never and I really like her.
- 6:40Well obviously not enough family, not enough not Yeah, here we are.
- 6:45Well, you know, time will tell what's going to happen. We'll see.
- 6:48So in the meantime, there's a lot of news around Tinsley Mournermer's ex
- 6:54boyfriend. If you recall when she had that mugshot wh in when she was
- 7:00in Florida and she was you know, well she got arrested outside of her
- 7:05ex boyfriend's house because she was saying, you know, she was stalking her
- 7:11or what have you. And there was also shots of her from physical abuse.
- 7:18She had a black eye. There are pictures of that. Well,
- 7:21this guy who is known as he is a sugar heir Alexander. They call
- 7:30him Nico Fanjul. His family owns and operates subsidiary companies like Florida Crystal's,
- 7:35Domino Sugar and American Sugar Refining. He was taken into custody in Palm Beach
- 7:44That's where it happened with Tinsley on January twenty eighth, after his girlfriend told
- 7:47authorities she thought she was going to die at his hands. Yes, police
- 7:54said that they responded to his home at eleven thirty pm after a neighbor reported
- 7:59hearing a woman and screaming. When cops arrived, they allegedly heard a woman's
- 8:03scream get off of me. They found Fanjewel standing over a female subject who
- 8:09was on the floor in a defensive fetal position and observed to be bleeding from
- 8:13the facial area. After separating them, she told police that she had been
- 8:18dating him for about a year and a half and the two had gone out
- 8:20to dinner at Flagler Steakhouse at the Ritzy Breakers Hotel earlier that night, and
- 8:28Fanjewel was irate because they were seated. They were seated next to two homosexual
- 8:35a couple at the restaurant. He was livid about that. Apparently he sounds
- 8:41cool, sounds really a real, real keeper. So then when they ended
- 8:46up coming back home, he was still upset. They were arguing and he
- 8:52ended up punching her in the face with a closed fist, causing bruising,
- 8:56bleeding and swelling to her facial area. Apparently he kneed her in the face
- 9:03and he grabbed her hand, smashed it on the phone when she tried to
- 9:09and the phone when she tried to call nine one one, and apparently they
- 9:16are saying that he was trying to I think strangle her. I'm reading this
- 9:22from the New York Post. So he has been arrested. He was being
- 9:28held on bond for one hundred and eighty thousand dollars. The lawyer denies the
- 9:33charges and he was released on that bill. Okay, wow. Yeah.
- 9:41In twenty thirteen, Tinsley was hospitalized for a head injury while publicly dating fanjul
- 9:48So, and she did not press charges. Back in twenty fourteen, Oh
- 9:54okay, okay, got it. Yeah, I mean, who knows,
- 10:00that's why too. I mean, I don't blame her, I'm just it's
- 10:05who knows. Well, She said, she's learned it's unfortunately easier to fall
- 10:09into a situation like domestic abuse. You know, it's easier to fall into
- 10:13that situation more than you think. And she said in another article back in
- 10:18the Daily Mail in twenty seventeen, once you're caught up in that sort of
- 10:20cycle, it's really hard to break out of it. Prayers to the victim
- 10:24of this story, and I hope that justice is served because this is a
- 10:31repeating offense that this guy has allegedly been doing for god knows how long into
- 10:37how many victims, so money to get out of it, yes, allegedly
- 10:41and allegedly what a scumbag allegedly So yeah, Okay, So, I have
- 10:50one announcement before we get into Miami, and that is that if you are
- 10:56listening to our true detective bonus episodes on Patreon. They're over there, and
- 11:03apparently because of the Super Bowl they will be airing it like earlier. Oh
- 11:13I saw that, thank you for mentioning that. I was like, is
- 11:16this a perk for some kind of premium Max because that's the way it kind
- 11:20of reads. Yeah, it says you can stream episode five early on Max
- 11:24ahead of super Bowl. So that's on February ninth. Okay, that is
- 11:31good information for even me and me paik you yeah, because it's like,
- 11:39you know, we are obsessed with this show. If you're not subscribed to
- 11:43my patron patreon dot com backslash Drama, Darling, Emily and I. You
- 11:48know, we are not the companion podcast that HBO has put out. Uh
- 11:52we're better, said no one. But you're not going to get companions.
- 11:56We're companions. We're companions of the companion, you know. And you're not
- 12:01going to get this kind of take over there. You know, you're not
- 12:05going to get the cross references to housewives, You're not going to get goofy
- 12:09takes, theories that are a little bonkers, and also some some really tough
- 12:15Darling true detective work of true detective. So please we get in there.
- 12:20They don't take a break for Christmas, and neither do we. I've put
- 12:26my tree back up here so I can be fully in the moment. Good
- 12:30for you, Good for you. I've got some sort of Parka with a
- 12:35smiley face patch over it. I don't know how it appeared there. Oranges
- 12:39are rolling to me constantly, you know, things like that, Yeah,
- 12:43I'm sending money into a Russian bride. I mean, who knows. I
- 12:46mean, we're really in this. We're fully in. We're asking the right
- 12:50questions Russia. Sure what I mean? Yesterday we were just really on a
- 13:01rant. We went like, like we said, longer than the actual episode
- 13:05because we just were leaving no stone unturned because we ask so many questions and
- 13:11I love the conversation over on the Patreon keep it coming. So that being
- 13:16said, we will be recapping that again next week. We're also doing Feud
- 13:20as a bonus bonus episode, Capoti versus the Swans, and you can find
- 13:26all of that over on patreon dot com. Back slash drama Darling. Let
- 13:31me break the news to you though. This is very exciting because I am
- 13:33a partner with Every Plate, which is an amazing meal kit. So I
- 13:41have to tell you just first off, my personal experience because I am completely
- 13:46new to meal kits. I had never done one before, so when mine
- 13:52was sent to me, I was thrilled. And by the way, it
- 13:54came over like the weekend when we got all of that rain, so Brett
- 14:00and I were like, he was like, oh, I gotta go to
- 14:01the store and like figure out what I'm gonna we're gonna do. I gotta
- 14:03go early, blah blah blah because we got to stock up blah blah.
- 14:07You know, we didn't know what was coming. There were a lot of
- 14:09security alerts coming to my phone, and I was like, oh, we
- 14:13got every plate, babe, we got every plate. It's here, We've
- 14:16got meals. So that was like the first experience. I did two meals
- 14:20this weekend and absolutely love them. I did the the pork chops in tomato
- 14:26cream sauce with zucchini rounds and lemon couscousoustorm so good, I mean, so
- 14:35delicious. Absolutely loved it. Brett loved it. And then another day I
- 14:39did grilled grilled onion burgers with creamy dijon aoli and oven fries. Thank you
- 14:45very much, You're gonna be the chef on below deck. Oh very soon,
- 14:50put me in that galley, babe, because I am gallleying it up
- 14:54with my every plate. So essentially you have to understand that every plate.
- 15:01The reason why they stand out among other meal kits is because the price point.
- 15:05Okay, their price points are what sets apart them from any other meal
- 15:13kit. They are so affordable. They're cheaper than your average fast casual meal,
- 15:18and it's super easy to eat affordably. It's ready in six simple steps.
- 15:24It's super easy. You get all the ingredients. The ingredients is in
- 15:28the cell box and everything's pre portioned, which is so helpful. As you
- 15:33know, it just takes all of the hard work out of it, where
- 15:37you don't have to go to the store and get all the different times.
- 15:39It's here. It's here for you don't have like buckets of added ingredients sitting
- 15:43around for months that you forget while you bought them. Yeah, I don't
- 15:46have those like that sack of potatoes. And I'm not talking about my husband,
- 15:50you know what I'm saying. Whatever at my bad jokes. Anyway,
- 15:56you can there's a lot of options you can order her with like over twenty
- 16:02five convenient sides, breakfast items, lunches, snacks, desserts, and more.
- 16:07Also, I was really impressed with this bullet point here it says that
- 16:11every plate recipes include only the highest quality ingredients, which I feel like I
- 16:15experienced because that pork chop was extremely savory and delicious, including sustainably sourced seafood.
- 16:23That meets them good it is, it meets them Monterey Bay Aquarium seafood
- 16:29rankings. So do I get there that aquarium? I have been there,
- 16:34So now I'm surprised because you do go up there? Yes, do you
- 16:40walk? Are you walking in there? Going? Do you? Guys?
- 16:42I heard you guys like ranked every plate. They're like, I bring all
- 16:48my fish there for rankings and every plate one, every plate one. So
- 16:57that's super cool. Anyway, I feel like you save a lot of money,
- 17:00you save a lot of time, and the food is really good.
- 17:07So get a meal starting at just one forty nine plus one dollar steaks for
- 17:14life by going to everyplate dot com slash podcast and entering code forty nine drama

- 17:52proud. I'm just really proud. Okay. So now we have got to
- 17:57get into Miami. We're doing Miami first, but before below decks. Yeah,
- 18:03wow, Wow, Mexico City, Babe, we're here. It's day
- 18:10two. That blows my mind. I knew you were gonna say that.
- 18:15I knew it because that's how I was like. Emily's gonna be like,
- 18:19how is it day t We're like, we've been here for a week and
- 18:23Nicole just got here and she hasn't slept. She slept like the tile store
- 18:32or whatever when she was picking out that where we don't know texture. It's
- 18:37got gexture. You're actually in her own texture. Yeah, I mean what.
- 18:49She worked all night Yeah, and flew there, got there at two
- 18:53forty five am. Was getting glad before Julia, I would have probably scheduled
- 18:59that differently. For sure, Julia, you wake up and you come and
- 19:03do it. Let me sleep, let me take a little nap or snapper,
- 19:07because mama just came from work. She said something about a twenty four
- 19:11hour flight and I don't know, I can't, but that probably tracks.
- 19:18Am I wrong? No? I don't think so. Well, not twenty
- 19:21four hours, but like she was traveling for Oh no, that doesn't make
- 19:26sense. Oh my god, I think we're so confused. Something was twenty
- 19:33four hours, and maybe it was just like the travel day going. Maybe
- 19:36she's been up for twenty four hours, the shift was like twelve hours,
- 19:40and then the travel day was twelve hours. Let's put it that. That's
- 19:45the mass that we're gonna do. Okay, that's great, that sounds really
- 19:48good. Let's do that. Let's go with that. But my god,
- 19:52does she just look like a fresh breath of air. Oh my gosh,
- 19:57she regardless stunning, no matter what. I can't uh, like not one
- 20:06bag under her eye? No, no, no, like fatigue face nothing,
- 20:11and now yes, she's getting full glam. But she just looks fresh
- 20:15as a daisy. Unbelievable. I can't believe this. She doesn't need the
- 20:19virgin of Guadalupe. You know, she's fine as far as I'm concerned,
- 20:23she's doing great. Skip the church, okaind of goal, you don't need
- 20:27it. No, uh no, I uh really loved. I mean what
- 20:36an emotional day in Mexico City at the church. Well, it started in
- 20:41the hotel lobby because Julia had her reservations and I was and then they did
- 20:48like that slow mo. They did like a slow motion of Julia reacting to
- 20:53people in the lobby, which I was like, well that's new and fun.
- 20:57Yeah, but it did give some wait to the moment because it wasn't
- 21:03just the kind of thing where I think that they should have just like shown
- 21:07her kind of sad I think it. I think they knew that they needed
- 21:11to give her a little bit of something else. And then they put that
- 21:15slow mo on and then they use it again at the chapel. But I
- 21:18liked it in the lobby. Yes, the chapel was a little well,
- 21:23the church was a little weird that that ain't no chapel that then you yeah,
- 21:29you know, well you know, yes, you're career, You're thinking
- 21:32about Beverly Hills and how they were at chapels. We're getting our cast trips,
- 21:37like we're crossing the streams because they both visited. Yeah, the Sistine
- 21:41Chapel is gigantic, so sometimes they are chapels. Oh god, you really
- 21:48you got me there? You got me there? Hands up, volume up.
- 22:00Oh yeah, yeah, maybe you're right. It was a church.
- 22:03It was a church. Well listen, this is the church. This is
- 22:07the steeple. Open the doors and see all the people. You know,
- 22:11Oh that is fun. Look, that's why you get tier too. So
- 22:17you could see me do that on camera, because that is what you don't
- 22:19want to miss. It was really heartbreaking to revisit Julia's past and what she
- 22:29has been through, and it's mortifying. It's it's not mortifying, it's horrifying.
- 22:36It's a nightmare that no one would ever want to go through. And
- 22:41it makes sense. You know, she separated herself from religion twenty years ago
- 22:45when she lost her son. They had hired a nanny, and the nanny
- 22:52there was shaken baby syndrome and the nanny was never caught in Russia. Yeah,
- 23:00yeah, that is awful, and I did appreciate that she said that
- 23:04her farm is her temple. That like she explained, like her whole bond
- 23:08with animals and how that all like started from that time and now I'm like,
- 23:15Okay, let the goat liquor face. It's really sweet. Yeah,
- 23:18I completely agree. I mean she her cocker spaniel was the only reason she
- 23:23stayed alive, she said, and that, Yeah, isn't it amazing what
- 23:30animals can do in our lives? I mean, it really is something.
- 23:33Animals are just so special. This is brought to you by animals. I
- 23:37am now a partner of animals. Actually, Lisa thinks she's a partner with
- 23:44animals. She loves animals. Lord, I mean no, I'm sorry.
- 23:49There's a big difference between you and Julia and your connection with animals. Let's
- 23:53get that straight away. But before we go there. Before we go there,
- 23:59I'm kind of cutting it, but we have to talk about this emotional
- 24:00scene before we like, because we got to get through this. It was
- 24:06so rough, it was beautiful. Julia is gonna go to the church to
- 24:11support her friends, but she know she's not a church going person. And
- 24:15by the way, Adriana is not there. She's got to rehearse for the
- 24:18big day she really does. Ain't no saint gonna help her, uh verse
- 24:27for that? So she knew what she There was no point in praying,
- 24:33no point. No, you can't just ask you know, the Guadaloupe,
- 24:38the version of Guadalupe to help you with that performance. You need to get
- 24:42back in the studio and work with choreo. She's not the scene of choreo.
- 24:48Yeah, she truly. I mean I think that this is part of
- 24:55the editing, you know, where it's like you, they're making it look
- 24:59so bad, then she'll kill it. Am I wrong? Course? No,
- 25:02of course, I mean it's gonna be It's gonna be fine, because
- 25:07there's just so much to take your eye away from her, like it'll be
- 25:12fine. My god, that's so No, no, no, it's smart.
- 25:19It's really smart. She's doing exactly what I would do. I would
- 25:22cover myself in a ridiculous outfit, right, put one million dancers on stage
- 25:29and just drones doing patterns in the sky over the audience, and then like
- 25:34tell everybody like, oh my god, look behind you, look to your
- 25:40neighbor, look up, everybody done around brod Bride. That's all I would
- 25:55do. Give it up for pride. No one look up here, everybody
- 26:00did there? Look up? Look down? Now look around that here the
- 26:10lyrics stop Looking at songs called stop Looking at Me. Yeah, so yeah,
- 26:19she doesn't go. Julia and Kiki are kissing. There's this lip gloss
- 26:25thing happening where she's transferring lip gloss. But Julia is just the kissing bandits.
- 26:30I mean, what's going on? Is she like the new Schwartz?
- 26:37I tell her. That was something that Julia was like, Oh, this
- 26:40is a fun thing I'm gonna do on this trip, and everybody's you know,
- 26:45like I feel like she did it for uh kind of more the show
- 26:48than anything else. But it was interesting to see the other women like lean
- 26:53in. Yeah, oh my god. Also, when you think of it
- 27:00as sharing lip gloss to me from somebody's mouth, that sounds so gross.
- 27:06That's disgusting. Let us kiss. Just say I'm kissing. There's no reason
- 27:11to hide it. And it's really yeah, like it just sounded like by
- 27:18that point, it's got like spit and everything. Like kissing sounds so nice,
- 27:22but hitting sharing lip gloss it sounds disgusting, sounds not from your mouth,
- 27:26not nice. It's not nice. No, I completely agree. I
- 27:32was like, what is happening? I don't know, But good for them,
- 27:36you know, they needed some distraction in the sprinter van on their way
- 27:38to the church, the Chapel church. The Oh, Lisa was like,
- 27:47I'm crying in the shower about you know, splitting the kids fifty to fifty.
- 27:51So she's starting her day rough, I mean really really rough. We
- 27:56haven't even gotten to her talking to her lawyer, which is after the cathedral,
- 28:02so we'll get to that. But Lisa's not going to have a good
- 28:03day. It's just things are not looking up for her in Mexico City with
- 28:07her life. It's starting to un ravel. But we get to the Cathedral
- 28:12Metropolitana and we find out which I did not remember. You know, I
- 28:18think that we heard this before with Gertie, but I did forget her father
- 28:22was a pastor. Did you remember that? No? I didn't. Okay,
- 28:29all right, so we I'm not gonna lie about this, Okay,
- 28:34can do it? Do you want me to say I did? Yeah?
- 28:37Doing it? All right? Well, I try and tell you to lie
- 28:40on this podcast, and you won't. It's really annoying. How dare you
- 28:44have full transparency and honesty with the friends the Darlings. Yeah, So She's
- 28:49like, I've been in many churches, but this is surreal and serene,
- 28:52and so they're up there. First of all, all of their outfits are
- 28:59just coming from right and left. You know, I don't When we saw
- 29:02them in that lobby, I was like, Nicole's wearing like a paddle ball.
- 29:07No, what's the new thing for pickleball? She's wearing like a pickleball
- 29:11outfit. Then everyone's wearing dresses that have cutouts that are and just a lot
- 29:17of boobage. For this cathedral, it was concerning. Well, I appreciated
- 29:23that they had cover ups. Yeah, yeah, I mean, but I
- 29:29also I'm also kind of like, who cares? But I get I get
- 29:33that it would upset some people, So I get it. They're not trying
- 29:37to be difficult. Yeah, absolutely, I think it's just more I mean,
- 29:42people just typically do that out of respect in any you know, religious
- 29:48building. If you will, sure, I will, I will. I
- 29:56like that you've gone from cathedral, church chapel to religious building, so let's
- 30:02just go yeah, let's yeah, we're just came for naming it. Yeah,
- 30:06there should be like I'm sorry, I don't mean to, you know,
- 30:11take a little detour, but on project runway, they should have like
- 30:15church where a churchwear challenge. Oh that's a good idea actually, or like
- 30:22a mausoleum or not a mausoleum, like synagogue, like all the different religious
- 30:27buildings mosque I meant to say mosque, I said mausoleum instead. But you
- 30:33know, just like head coverings like whatever, you know, let's have a
- 30:37religious everyone gets a religion. That would be so fun and like someone gets
- 30:41Baptist and it's just all like very Southern inspired and yeah, you know,
- 30:47just all right, pitch it amy, Yeah, okay. So on that
- 30:56note, that looked like a Project Runway religious challenge. That's what it looked
- 31:03like, thanks mood. So, so what happens? So they go there
- 31:12and they are all kneeling at the statue of Guadalupe, who is the virgin
- 31:19mother Mary, and they're praying. Gerty is praying, she's scared, she's
- 31:26crying. Alexia is saying, pray it worked for Frankie. I did it
- 31:30for Frankie. Alexia is so team Virgin of Guadalupe, like Team Guadalupe all
- 31:37the way. She found hope, she's found peace. She's hoping that the
- 31:41same will happen for Gerty and Marisol in her confessional says that they're collectively all
- 31:47praying for Gerty's health and the powerful things can happen Larsa, after all of
- 31:52what happened between the two of them with this cancer situation, Larsa was holding
- 31:57Gerty the whole time, and Gerty in her confessional her saying that the bond
- 32:04that happened in this church was something that we'll never forget and it was just
- 32:07really quite beautiful. Larsa showed up, Yeah, and it was nice too
- 32:12that Gerty was like detailing like she was. Gerty did Larsa favor there too,
- 32:16to be like she was like really holding me tight like I think like
- 32:22Larsa's sometimes you think doesn't really feel she's doing a lot of it for the
- 32:27camera, but when you hear about an emotion like I wouldn't be able to
- 32:30read that she was holding Gerty tightly or something like that. As an audience,
- 32:35it was nice that, Yeah, Gerty detailed that for us. They
- 32:39were all praying, they were all crying, and boy, that was one
- 32:44of the more emotional scenes I think we've ever seen on Housewives truly. Yeah,
- 32:51I guess in Miami for sure. I mean, I don't know.
- 32:54I guess it was definitely one of the more spiritual scenes. Was like it
- 33:00felt like there or just like a big energy moment where they were all feeling
- 33:05the same thing and quietly deal like because I also BQ bq M big b
- 33:13e Q, big energy, big guadaloufe moment. Oh my god, I
- 33:17can't get it. I can't get it. Yeah, I guess, yeah,
- 33:25well whatever. Well it was powerful and I think one of the more
- 33:30emotional ones because here we have Gertie on her knees praying that she won't die.
- 33:37Yes, yes, you're right. I mean we've never seen that before.
- 33:42Yeah, you're right. You know, she has cancer, she doesn't
- 33:45know what's going to happen, she's scared, she's got kids, she has
- 33:46a husband, and here she is in Mexico City, you know, and
- 33:51she's still you know, she's there, which is wild. You know,
- 33:54she's still continuing on and living her life. And then we have Lisa,
- 34:00who's you know, probably not praying for Gerda. Let's be real, she's
- 34:05playing for herself. You know, she's praying for that settlement and you know,
- 34:08God lover, but you know she's got her eyes on her own self.
- 34:14But here she is just broken because she's going through this horrible situation,
- 34:21and Alexia who's been through with Frankie and is emotional because of him. All
- 34:27right, fine, it was a big guy. Great, we had a
- 34:32moment Amy, the biggest one. You win. We got Nicole who can't
- 34:39figure out like what marble to choose? You know, what texture is going
- 34:45to be on that wall or countertop or whatever the heck they were trying to
- 34:49figure out, and Larsa was probably negotiating that trader's contract, you know it.
- 34:54We're praying, Yeah, what's going to happen with her podcasts that we
- 34:59can never remember the name of anxiety? Separation? Anxiety? Got it?
- 35:06Anxiety? Thank you? I was like, please, what is it?
- 35:08What is it? I couldn't? You were like, reasonably shady, reasonably
- 35:12shady, reasonably shady. Yeah, yeah, well that's great. So we
- 35:17got through the emotional the most emotional scene we've ever seen. I'm doing what
- 35:23they do on The Bachelor, the most traumatic scene in history. Swoopy,
- 35:30are you at the door wanting to get out? Oh gosh, whoops?
- 35:35Hold on? Is she being the most emotional at the emo emotional cat reaction
- 35:39I've ever seen that You'll ever hear about hold on, well, I let
- 35:45swoopy out. Now she's got a life of her own. She just went
- 35:49to the chapel. We have one here. She just went to the religious
- 35:55institution. Did you buy Eric's apple in the auction the Girardes chapel your home?
- 36:02Yes? I did, Yes, of course I did. It's in
- 36:06the shed, so Lisa. They get back to the hotel and Lisa is
- 36:12on the phone talking to her lawyer and Hei. They're trying to finalize this
- 36:17settlement or they go to court, and they don't want to do that.
- 36:22Lenny doesn't want to do that. Lisa doesn't want to do that, so
- 36:25he the lawyer's like, okay, sign it right, or take a look
- 36:30at it. So she gets off the phone and and then Lenny calls,
- 36:36oh my god. I mean, honestly, I'm not a big fan of
- 36:39Lisa, especially after this episode. Oh man, did she nail it on
- 36:44Lenny? And I like, she sure did. The request that he had
- 36:52should be illegal, Like yeah, with something like that was badshit to me.
- 36:58Yeah, no one can permanently reside with you. No, men,
- 37:04it was so well time to become a lesbian. Then, okay, Lisa
- 37:07let's go get some lip glass on, get that lip glass. You know
- 37:12what she probably I mean, she's probably like, not a bad idea,
- 37:15Leny Lenny didn't think about I'll out smart im. She does it out of
- 37:19spite, all right. So she talks to her lawyer and then yeah,
- 37:23Lenny calls and he's like, I'm gonna add one little thing to the settlement.
- 37:29And then she's like sut of a gun and then she walks out one
- 37:35little thing and then and then they're in the shuttle and well before we get
- 37:40into the Mexican gondolas on the way there. In the shuttle, Larsa tells
- 37:45Lisa to open her legs to let the air and to help with her well
- 37:51carsickness. Oh I miss that. I heard it, but like I didn't
- 37:54understand what was Yeah, it was definitely something that would have been missed.
- 38:00But when you hear someone say something like that, I'd backed it up.
- 38:04I was like, wait, what are you talking about. When I was
- 38:07with Scottie, I used to ride in bumpy cars like four times a day
- 38:10because he used to make me like writing, bumpy cars four times a day.
- 38:14So you have to open your legs then makes you feel better. I'm
- 38:17kidding because you know, she says said I had sex four times a day.
- 38:21I don't know how that's gonna make you feel better to open your legs
- 38:23and get air in there. I mean, it's gonna feel better, But
- 38:27is it going to get rid of your car sickness? I don't know.
- 38:30I don't know. Maybe there's something about like it calms you down, or
- 38:36like it triggers the nerve that I don't know knows. Yeah, what if
- 38:40it's real, I will never know. I mean I'll never do it,
- 38:47never gonna do never. Kiki's white dress kind of reminded me of Taylor Swift's
- 38:54Grammy dress because it was like white and oh yeah, and it just the
- 39:00Grammys had just happened. So I'm like, oh, we shouldn't have the
- 39:05black long black gloves on. But right, you're so cute, so cute,
- 39:09so cute, so cute. So the Mexican gondolas and Alexia could personalize,
- 39:17you know, the sign and she called it Miami, Yeah, Miami
- 39:24Mama, right, Miami, Miami Mommy's Miami Mommy's okay cool. She's like,
- 39:34I could decorate the boat. Oh, I put a sign up.
- 39:37I like that. She's no, hang on, let me check myself.
- 39:40I didn't decorate this thing. They just said what do you want? And
- 39:45here are the amount of letters you can work. Oh my god, Larsa
- 39:50killed me. She's like, do you remember the movie Ana Conda. I
- 39:53was like, yes, I fucking do, Larcea. I love her so
- 39:57much. That movie was my jam my dad and I watched that like anytime
- 40:02it would come on around that time, we would watch it and just laugh.
- 40:06It's such a fun, stupid movie. It's just so great. So
- 40:12when Larsa said, and it does remind me of Anakana anakanda movie. But
- 40:16did you ever see it? Ah? I did when it came out.
- 40:20I couldn't tell you one thing about it now seeing it in the movie theater
- 40:23though you went to the movie. Wow, I never saw in the movie
- 40:25theater. Yeah, well it was great. And anyway, so then Lisa
- 40:34starts to have her breakdown on the gondolas and she's like, I feel like
- 40:38I failed and Kiki, who's amazing. Of course, we love her so
- 40:42much. She's like, you did not fail. He failed you. Yeah,
- 40:47very Also, like everybody, I give it up for them because here
- 40:52they are dealing with Lisa yet again, and it is different. This is
- 41:00it's like a new level of passing through this process. So I was like,
- 41:06Okay, cool, they're actually appreciating that. This is like she is
- 41:09going through a different level of this in this moment, and they're kind of
- 41:14like allowing her to do it. But I was also exhausted from it because
- 41:19I don't know if I would be as gracious in that moment. I think
- 41:22I would have just tuned out. Yeah, that was really tough because there
- 41:28is definitely some there's a lot of realness to this situation, and so she
- 41:32just has cried wolf so many times. Unfortunately she came to them too many
- 41:37times. So the time when she really needs it, the day she's signing
- 41:39the papers of the settlement, which is going to cause a huge reaction,
- 41:45a huge emotional, visceral reaction for all to see. She's not going to
- 41:50be in control. She's going to be like unhinged because of what's going on.
- 41:53This is very traumatic. But unfortunately, because she's already used played those
- 42:00cards so many times, they turned on her after she fed the dogs.
- 42:06Oh my god. Also, she said Jody is kind of over it too,
- 42:09and that and remember Larsa was like, you need to keep that because
- 42:15no one's gonna put up your shit. Larsa, God, I love her.
- 42:19I just she is some something else, Like she will just say something
- 42:24so rude right to your face at a very inappropriate time, and somehow it's
- 42:31just great for drama. I mean, it just is. I mean she's
- 42:35like, you're you're kind of like a baby, you know, just like
- 42:37you're kind of like a bully. Fair, that's fair. That was good.
- 42:42Yeah, She's like I accept that. I mean yeah, she's like,
- 42:47no one else is going to take your shit. Well with Jody being
- 42:52like he's trying to help her and she's snapping at him. And this is
- 42:55a perfect example of not getting involved with somebody when you're in the middle of
- 43:00something so tumultuous as a very complicated divorce with kids involved. Right, take
- 43:08a second, you know, yeah, I mean I think there's a fear
- 43:14with Lisa too, that she's not going to be able to find somebody that
- 43:17will have her back, so she like lands on the first person that does,
- 43:22and it's just going to be messy, you know. Yeah, and
- 43:28then Adriana tries to pipe up to defend to defend Lisa and yell at Larsa,
- 43:36and Larsa's like, save your voice for tomorrow. She's like, good
- 43:39point. Actually I'm not gonna yell on this Anaconda boat. But there was
- 43:46so much to see on that ride. Oh, get to the dogs.
- 43:52But also, like I totally felt for Kiki when they were shitting on those
- 43:58homes along the bank. Yeah, like come on everybody, and then like
- 44:02do you seriously not like hear yourselves? And then for Kiki to be like,
- 44:07this is how I grew up. But she didn't say that. But
- 44:10she shouldn't have to like that, you know what I mean, Like,
- 44:15I was surprised that they were like I feel like it. It was hard
- 44:17to see who was starting who said it first, because it was I thought
- 44:22it was like kind of off camera. Yeah, I don't have it read
- 44:25it Lisa. I'm just gonna assume as Lisa too. I mean, why
- 44:30not just throw it all her away? Well, a lot of these people
- 44:35they're just extremely they're very privileged, and they're very wealthy, and they have
- 44:38no real touch with reality until you get somebody like Gertie who's dealing with cancer
- 44:46and and who's gone through loss and then Kiki, who was raised in Haiti,
- 44:53who has experienced life on a different level, and that's normal for her,
- 44:59and so that was rough. So I think that Keiki Lisa must have
- 45:05said something because Keky was really going at her, and I don't blame her
- 45:08at that point, you know, well, I think Kekey was it was
- 45:15holding it in until then Lisa decided that these dogs were starving and that she
- 45:21was going to save them by throwing scraps at them. And then Alexia said
- 45:27something great, which is like, would you want people throwing scraps at your
- 45:30dog on Star Island? Like you would never write that, Lisa, can
- 45:35you imagine? I know that was really really tough to see, and I'm
- 45:42like, you'll never make it. The chicken will never make it to land.
- 45:46It did though, it did. That dog went for it. Oh
- 45:51yeah, oh wow, Okay, well I stand corrected. So the first
- 45:54one went in the water, the second one hit the land. Yeah,
- 46:00and and the even the there was somebody on the boat, was it the
- 46:06driver or yeah? The driver that's like stop, ye please? Uh they
- 46:10feed their dogs. And then Lisa was like, I was trying to help.
- 46:21I love animals, which was very funny. Actually, and then Keky's
- 46:24like, don't stand up or it's going to be something. She's like,
- 46:27I am standing up? What are you going to do? I was like,
- 46:30Oh, you're so annoying. And then they get into something and this
- 46:35is what I mean, Like, so Kiki throws I guess a juice box
- 46:38at her? Is that right? Yeah? Juice box out of nowhere?
- 46:43Know what it's like? Where did they be? Unknown juice? Where's juice
- 46:47box? Yeah? And I'm like, this is where we keep talking about
- 46:53the whole how much is being a the provoca the provocator, couture of a
- 47:01situation, of a shavel of the situation to be you're the one that's held
- 47:08accountable before somebody puts hands on you or makes the first, you know,
- 47:14actual physical move. And this is what annoys me because to me, Lisa
- 47:19isn't the wrong. But like I'm not saying Kiki shouldn't she should throw something
- 47:23she shouldn't, but stop provoking people on these shows to the point where the
- 47:30other person is put in a position where you're antagonizing them so much to do
- 47:37something. It should be you know, it's just should be more of a
- 47:42fifty to fifty responsibility in the end, like own it, Lisa, stop
- 47:45standing up, Stop being like Nana, na, nana. You know it's
- 47:49just yes, you're looking for it. Well, she so wanted a distraction
- 47:54from the settlement. I feel like that anything she could you like, I
- 48:00think she wanted a big win with feeding the dogs, and it backfired.
- 48:07And so then, uh, because don't misunderstand. If she fed those dogs
- 48:15it was and it went everybody was happy about it, it would have still
- 48:17ended in tears. It would have still been like I just care so much
- 48:21about everything and everybody in life, and that just went fair, and those
- 48:28dogs wanted fair. It was gonna be like bad either way. Yeah,
- 48:34it was definitely going to be bad. But Lisa, being like, you
- 48:37just threw something at me, you assaulted me, I was like, I
- 48:40can't, you need to let's throw you to the dogs at this point,
- 48:44you know, somebody pick her up and throw her to the dogs, because
- 48:46I can't with that language right now, stop it. No talking to your
- 48:51lawyer too much. Technically, she's right technically throwing an object at somebody technically
- 48:58sure, but so emily to do that. Next time you throw something at
- 49:00me, I'm going to say and I will have you arrest I will have
- 49:02you arrest it. I will have you arrest it because that is assault.
- 49:08But like that's just it. Like she was calling everything on a technicality at
- 49:13that point because she's like just not wanting to think about the settlement. Yeah,
- 49:19I mean, look, she said she's had a hard day, she
- 49:22got something was thrown at her. You guys are coming after me for feeding
- 49:25the dogs. I thought they were hungry. Fuck all of you. And
- 49:29then Gertie's crying, and then Larsa's like, Lisa, you're trying Kiki.
- 49:36You don't try another woman. It's not nice. I loved it. And
- 49:40Lisa she just wouldn't, you know, stop and she's like she throw an
- 49:45object. And then then Alexia was like, because Lisa's like, shut the
- 49:52fuck up to all of you, and Alexi is like, but we could
- 49:53say the same thing to you, and so she was. Then everyone turned,
- 49:58I mean everybody one turning on Lisa. Yes. Good, Yeah,
- 50:05I didn't want her to have a little brat. She's a spoiled little brat,
- 50:08is what she is. Yeah, well she is, and she she
- 50:14keeps going there. It's like I felt bad at the times I have felt
- 50:19bad for Lisa this season have been when no one has her back, like
- 50:23one in terms of like the Lenny uh settlement stuff and trying to add income
- 50:29that maybe she doesn't want to talk about on camera, but she always It's
- 50:35like it's like as soon as I'm feeling a little bad for her, I
- 50:38end up with by the end of the episode being like, Lisa's shut up.
- 50:44You know, I know every time you like we want to support her,
- 50:46and we know Lenny is a huge jerk, yes, but then it's
- 50:51just like, h is he or is he just so annoyed by you?
- 50:54Like yeah, I know. That's basically what Kiki said. She did well,
- 51:01she said sometimes like she said something I think maybe in her interview like
- 51:06where she's like I kind of understand like the whole anything, like she kind
- 51:10of forget exactly what she said. But I was like, yeah, this
- 51:15is this is like I'm I will never get any side of it. He's
- 51:20the he will always redeem Lisa for me because like case in point, you
- 51:25can't have a man live with you ever, like that's crazy, Yeah,
- 51:30and not reciprocate the offer on your side, right, right, So I
- 51:37guess I but yeah, Lisa Lisa does a great job of getting me off
- 51:43her side. She sure does. Yeah, she's great at it's the Michael
- 51:47Jordan. She's the Marcus Jordan of Michael Jordan's of getting me on somebody else's
- 51:54team. I mean, Kiki threw something at her and we're like, what
- 52:00did you do, Lisa? I mean, you know what I'm saying,
- 52:01Like, that's where I am cool as a cucumber. Kiki like what are
- 52:07you doing? I'm not saying what are you doing? Kiki? I'm saying
- 52:12what are you doing Lisa that you could upset Kiki to the right that she's
- 52:15gonna throw a juice box empty. Adriana is like, I think it's time
- 52:20to turn this boat around, and I felt bad for the driver, like
- 52:22that one pole thing. It's just like in that heavy boat that is got
- 52:27to take some serious strength. Yeah, and then Larsa's like, can we
- 52:31just say a prayer? And then Alexia is like I should have brought the
- 52:37holy water the whole gallon. Has that fucking phone, yeah, with like
- 52:45a satellite dish on the tip? Was that Direct TV? I was like,
- 52:51Wow, we're gonna binge watch something right now? What are we doing
- 52:55it's laughable. Somebody I didn't see and like stop to see it, but
- 53:00someone did screen grab the WhatsApp chat that she's having with Jody. I think,
- 53:06uh huh, And there's like a million misspellings and just like laying out
- 53:09her like plight. How the women have turned on her? I nothing she
- 53:21could have been typing would have interested me at that point. Well, also,
- 53:24all you could see in that flash was just like on a WhatsApp screen
- 53:29with like a million green bubbles. It's just her having a one sided conversation.
- 53:34No one's replying, and yeah, and it's not one long blurb,
- 53:38it's like, no a sentence, three sentences, one sentence, one word
- 53:44a word. It's so annoying. Just give it to me all at once,
- 53:50you know. At this point, Yeah, because Jody's going to pick
- 53:52up that phone and see that he has eighty three miss like knew WhatsApp mess
- 54:00Okay, Well, Lisa's in the hospital, right, Lenny went there.
- 54:08Well, then the wind starts to come and then it's the foreshadowing of the
- 54:14islands. Monica have arrived, the Monica Wins of Utah, and we get
- 54:25to the Island of Dolls, which is completely frightening and there's a real story
- 54:30behind it. And Julia, poor Julia. This is like a horror movie
- 54:37that was really bad for her. Yeah, too much. Well, I
- 54:43don't fault anybody for going. I would just I thought Lisa, it's Lisa's
- 54:47fault. Well, sure, and at the end of the day, Lenny's
- 54:51to blame. Absolutely, But I would not have ever realized that that could
- 54:58be like a trigger for someone that's gone through something like that, because I
- 55:01would have just been like, oh, creepy dolls. I wouldn't have thought
- 55:06anything besides that. So good to know. Yeah, absolutely, Yeah.
- 55:13Yeah, Well that was the end of that episode. It's hard to land
- 55:19on a happy note there because that was just it was really intense. Yeah,
- 55:27that was a good episode. M h. These ladies feel shit again,
- 55:32But it was good. These ladies were bonded for sure, and until
- 55:39they'll turned on Lisa. Wait, maybe we don't know yet. But by
- 55:45because Julia was having such a moment with the dolls, did that shake Lisa
- 55:52out of her live broadcast event or was that right she's doing an Amazon live
- 55:59from them? No, she did not, I don't think I don't think
- 56:04so. But we didn't get to see enough. There wasn't a broad enough
- 56:07shot, a wide enough shot to see if she had like gotten off the
- 56:10end of the boat. Yeah, yeah, all right, well maybe that'll
- 56:15be next week probably, hm hmm, all right, well should we get
- 56:22into below deck. I'm gonna say yes, that is It's the right answer.
- 56:37So Flowers, she loved that. I know. I talked about it
- 56:44yesterday, but loved Miley cyruses live performance of Bes the Grammys' yea she killed
- 56:52it, yes girl, Yeah, Lenny can Okay. So wow we are
- 57:13Season eleven, episode one called New Captain, New Rules. We're in Granada
- 57:22in South America. Oh, gorgeous Granada. I'm miss gorgeous. And it's
- 57:29Captain Carrie's first time in Granade. Yeah. I keep wanting to call him
- 57:36Captain Carry David Terry Terry, No, Carrie, Saint David, Captain Carrie
- 57:45St. David. Sure you can call me that. New So they're in
- 57:52the Caribbean. Yeah, we got a couple of uh, yeah, go
- 57:58ahead. I was just gonna say, I I love it already. I
- 58:01love the rainforest. I'm very excited about this setting. Oh I love it.
- 58:09I love the backdrop, love it, love it. Love it,
- 58:13love it. We do find out that he's been pretty much everywhere but not
- 58:19Granada, so this is his first time being there. Yeah, so you
- 58:29he basically said in his welcome meeting that he's been to Africa, Norway,
- 58:37maybe it to Rainy Panama, Canale, Mexican gondolas, every way, but
- 58:45no Granada. So we're back to the Saint David, which they have that
- 58:52huge globe at the staircase, that like globe staircase thing, which is just
- 58:57something else. Yeah, be the first thing I'd have removed. Yeah,
- 59:02that globe. It just seems like such a weird hazard that you don't see
- 59:07coming. But it's the thing that like somebody's gonna break their face on it,
- 59:10and you're like, wow, we should have taken that out. I
- 59:16love it. I hate it so much that I've somehow come to the other
- 59:21side and I love it now. Now I'm like, this is the thing
- 59:24that makes Saint David Saint David. Is that enormous unnecessary globe. All right,
- 59:34I'll see if I can get it for you. You sit right there,
- 59:37I see my go catch that Saint David's globe. I'm gonna make a
- 59:43chapel and put it in there Saint David's chapel, and then we all pray
- 59:49to the globe. I don't know what it is. It's like Captain Lee
- 59:53was Captain Lee, and this captain I guess because I don't know him.
- 59:58He's just part of the boat, like I don't. I just don't know
- 1:00:00him yet. So yeah, because you didn't watch below dick uh a vain
- 1:00:07chat adventure land Town, Yeah, which was took place in the field.
- 1:00:15I used to call it below deck field, but yeah, we're no longer
- 1:00:21there, and so here we are. We have some people returning. Ben
- 1:00:25is back, the lead deckhand is back, who was on below Deck med
- 1:00:31because he was on when Captain Sandy was the chief stew Did you ever watch
- 1:00:37that one with Camille and Alyssa where it was I called her, Yeah,
- 1:00:43oh what where'd you call her? Well? Camille? I called her Bad
- 1:00:45Camille because my daughter and I have this game called Bad Camille. Camille's one
- 1:00:51of her dolls. We play this game called Bad Camille, so we would
- 1:00:52always call her Bad Camille and then she'd be like, Lissa, I'm dead
- 1:00:58ass, Syria's get out of here, Lissa go, And she'd always have
- 1:01:02these breakdowns and Alyssa and bad Camille hate each other so much, and it
- 1:01:07was such a great season. So Ben was there tail end of that.
- 1:01:12And I never and still don't. I just don't. I will never find
- 1:01:19Ben attractive. I don't either. I don't know why I don't. I
- 1:01:24don't understand why we have to why why why do we have to? I
- 1:01:29don't think we do. I I didn't find him. He wasn't my type,
- 1:01:32didn't find him attractive. Feel like Bravo was forcing it, honest,
- 1:01:37like we've got to like really like I think he's hot and I do not.
- 1:01:42Oh wow hot, he's not. No, Okay, well I'm not
- 1:01:45going to pressure you because I don't agree either. But he's back, and
- 1:01:50of course the chief stew Fraser is back, and that's exciting because he talks
- 1:01:58to himself a lot, so he can narrate very funny like what call is
- 1:02:02that grotesque? That was so good? She's not gonna last, like I
- 1:02:10think she can hear you, yeah, because his asides are very like he's
- 1:02:16stage ready essentially, you know, he's work into the back of the audience.
- 1:02:23He really is. He talks. Maybe he's like kind of hard at
- 1:02:27hearing because I swear sometimes I don't know him that well, but every time
- 1:02:31I'm like, they can hear you, dude, this is a small boat,
- 1:02:36all right, absolutely fabulous, your gorgeous. You suck what excuse me?
- 1:02:47I'm right here, sorry about that. That was to myself. Shouldn't
- 1:02:51be vial is. Let's go team. But he learned a lesson last time.
- 1:02:58He can't be friends with everyone. He really screwed up. Sandy was
- 1:03:01on his ass. I mean he seemed to me like the Golden Child at
- 1:03:06the beginning, like he's gonna nail it and sail it, literally, and
- 1:03:08he just biffed it and whiffed it so hard he had to work his way
- 1:03:14back to being in You know, Sandy was almost about to fire him,
- 1:03:17he was doing such a bad job. So whoof I think he's a great
- 1:03:22character. So he's back. Ben is back, and we obviously know Captain
- 1:03:30Carrie, but the rest are new. We have. We've got this chef,
- 1:03:36the French chef, Anthony, and I thought he was Matt Jones.
- 1:03:43Oh oh yeah, I was like, Max is here, Yeah that is
- 1:03:47true. I thought that too. I forgot I thought that, And then
- 1:03:53what did you say? Jared and all his like little Tommy Lee Jones isms,
- 1:04:00t world, someone else's dime making the nickel every henhouse, penhouse,
- 1:04:06ford house, doghouse. All right, dude, we get it, we
- 1:04:11got it. I did not catch that. That's hilarious. And he's from
- 1:04:16Connecticut. Yeah, but he like he's like, I'm like acting like this
- 1:04:21grizzled fisherman from like the Gordon's packaging. He's what is that Gordon's fishers?
- 1:04:30Fish sticks? Yeah, fish sticks, Jared. They have old fish sticks.
- 1:04:35Jared build houses and uh, he's about as grizzled as they get a
- 1:04:40real man. Like we're all like the the crabbing gear but on the below
- 1:04:45deck like this big water rain gear all the time, like oh the sea
- 1:04:49is rough and the sea bullshit. Meanwhile, he's more like the Cranberry guys
- 1:04:56in the water with the waiters, you know, from like Ocean's or whatever.
- 1:05:01He's more like that guy you know, Nah, you can't even catch
- 1:05:04a cranberry worried about him. Cranberry. He's probably got something that you can't
- 1:05:10catch a cranberry and a windberry unless you know Barry, and I know Barry,
- 1:05:16and the ocean's a Berry Berry Berry is terrible and laundry want a waste
- 1:05:25of space. Fraser Berry standing right here. It's the old Berry You're look,
- 1:05:31you're doing phenomenally already. We're gonna do this. Come on, Yeah,
- 1:05:40he's gonna believe. I mean, too many mistakes and and maybe there's
- 1:05:45just the editing and maybe they all make mistakes the first day like that.
- 1:05:48But the fact that Jared hasn't been on a big vessel in ten years,
- 1:05:51how is he qualified to be there doing what he's doing. I'm I feel
- 1:05:59like they always have somebody there that you don't know why they were hired,
- 1:06:03and he's going to be that person for this he is, He's going,
- 1:06:08yeah, yeah, yeah, Barbie. I love this character. She's great.
- 1:06:15This is gonna be great drama Darling. I love the fact that she's
- 1:06:17super rich and she knows like what's good. I think that that's kind of
- 1:06:24a cool angle and that she wants her father's like taught her a good work
- 1:06:28ethic. But I'm like wondering, well, how far does that go?
- 1:06:31Is it? Daddy? I'm not but now, deck I want to get
- 1:06:35to on this show. Okay, fine, go to bartending school. But
- 1:06:40she is goes to bartending school for a full week, as she said,
- 1:06:43But I'm like, okay, a full week. Wow, a good job,
- 1:06:45a full week of work. But yes, she is a hustler.
- 1:06:51But I am a little like, Okay, are you a yachti or is
- 1:06:56this just you trying to get on this show and you prepared to get on
- 1:06:59this show? Out? You know what I mean? You and your yachtie
- 1:07:02standards. She's a hustler. Okay, she was working ten times hard.
- 1:07:08She was working circles around cat. She was working circles around port tears,
- 1:07:12teary eyed cat. But what we're not gonna do? What a're not gonna
- 1:07:15do? What is have? Every straight dude that gets introduced to her react
- 1:07:21like, oh when did they Barbie fall? All of them? What?
- 1:07:31Wait? What did you say? Their mind is blown? Get a fucking
- 1:07:40shower. That's a name. Get a shower. Oh my god, that's
- 1:07:47funny. She's and she's doing nothing else but saying Barbie. And they're like,
- 1:08:00Emily's got a real lament over these douchebags? Which is gonna rule out
- 1:08:04the douchebags? Charter guest are the douchebag crew? Which one? Will it
- 1:08:10be? Who knows. Then we have Zandy, he's a steward. Yeah,
- 1:08:20she's gonna be fine. She's like me, man, get me away
- 1:08:23from everybody and let me down there, fold and towels. Oh that's the
- 1:08:27one that Oh, she's the one that has chiefs do experience, and she's
- 1:08:32taking a break. Okay, Okay, I was getting confused because there's Sonny.
- 1:08:36Oh, Sonny's the deckhand. Yes, yes, yeah, and she's
- 1:08:41gonna things are gonna get nuts because she's gonna be hooking up with someone and
- 1:08:45that person's also going to be Is it Ben or is it Anthony? Oh?
- 1:08:49Is it Ben? Oh my god, you're right it is Ben.
- 1:08:51Yeah, she's indicated that she's interested. Okay, well, who are you
- 1:08:59gonna choose on this boat to hook up with? Yeah? I guess Captain
- 1:09:03Carrie, Saint David, me too. Yeah, it's always going to be
- 1:09:08the it's usually going to be the captain, even you know, Sandy,
- 1:09:12you name it. Every they go to bed early. They're not fucking wasted
- 1:09:15out of their clothes like it's low maintenance loam mace. And then Kyle is
- 1:09:26a Scottish guy. He's a deckhand. Sonny and Cat Yeah, he came
- 1:09:31on that boat, cigarette, sweaty, and like his entrance, he was
- 1:09:36all boot sweating, booze and cigarette. So it's like, yeah, you're
- 1:09:41gonna get messy, real messy with him. Yeah okay. So Captain Carrie's
- 1:09:46like, welcome, do a mistake my kindness for weakness, I'll fucking kill
- 1:09:51you. What whoa whoa whoa with Saint David Carrie. Don't fuck around,
- 1:10:00you're off the boat. So he's he's really laying down the line. And
- 1:10:03uh, that's that so okay. So Fraser assigns them all like ladies,
- 1:10:11Early's, laundries, housekeepies and services, you know they always He's gonna put
- 1:10:15you on lighties and Early's and luncheese, and then we get you on snot
- 1:10:19keys and drinkies and and then services and then Betties. It's like, what
- 1:10:27why you so cutesy all of a sudden, Kyle, Oh, Kyle's the
- 1:10:35Scottish guy. You got his ass branded with a coat hanger nuts. Yeah,
- 1:10:43that's what I'm saying. Like he's going to he's gonna do some real
- 1:10:46damage, bodily damaged himself. Yes, he's gonna kat and Carey's gonna have
- 1:10:53to Yeah, with the globe. I think that globe is like another dimension,
- 1:11:00Like if you touch it, you shuld't were cushioned. Yeah, you
- 1:11:05end up on another below deck season. You're like, all of a sudden,
- 1:11:09Captain Sandy's like, all right, Dad, what's for dinner? And
- 1:11:12you're like, oh no, Chef, you know, You're like, what
- 1:11:15I get here? You're here now, now, now, back at the
- 1:11:25bottom of that staircase, You're like, did anybody see that? Right?
- 1:11:29What's wrong? Why have you been? You know? And then like Fraser's
- 1:11:31like Fraser, I should say, Fraser's like Cat has been missing for actually
- 1:11:39eight hours. We can't find her. The fucking globe. She's a globe,
- 1:11:50That's what it is, all right. So preference sheet blah blah blah.
- 1:11:58Provisions. Oh, that's a ton of ass of provisions. I love
- 1:12:01watching the provisions come on board. Yeah, I know you do. That's
- 1:12:05one of your favorite things. It's your pastime. It is, it's my
- 1:12:09passion. It's my passion, I know. But watching that chef try to
- 1:12:14find a spot for that stuff is so stressful to watch. Yeah, and
- 1:12:18just knowing the sheer amount of work that's ahead to make an egg yes,
- 1:12:26nuts to make an egg. How about the in the galley when they are
- 1:12:31talking, Captain Carrey is talking about with Jared about like kids and stuff,
- 1:12:38and he's like, I gave up being a captain to paint houses so he
- 1:12:40could be there for his kids. And Jared says that he has a three
- 1:12:44year old in Alaska. Mm hmmm, wow, yachting is tough, man,
- 1:12:49it is. I thought that that was we usually don't get that deep
- 1:12:56with the captain right out of the gate, you know. Yeah, I
- 1:13:00thought that was a lot of sharing with the crew. I don't know if
- 1:13:04that was too much sharing. Don't mistake my sharing for kindness. Go fuck
- 1:13:11yourself. I'm sorry I mistook it for kindness. I'm telling you because I'm
- 1:13:15bold. I'm eating my stew. Okay, So these douchebag guests arrive and
- 1:13:25it's like the primary and then like Zach Galifanakis. I mean that guy just
- 1:13:30straight up looks like Zach, And of course it's right on par with douchebag
- 1:13:34charter guest just walking on talking about their vaginas. You know, they continue
- 1:13:40it all throughout. It's the the really one note. It's like everything,
- 1:13:45it's not even innuendo. It's like straight up suck dick for some more of
- 1:13:50this food, right, cool meat. But I think that they think that
- 1:13:59they're being like hilarious, Oh oh my god, you were the craziest charter.
- 1:14:06What are they gonna do with that? They're gonna have to beep out
- 1:14:09what we say. Okay, Well, Sonny has crystals and saved for anxiety,
- 1:14:18and Ben feels dumber when he's around freaking the bows and Jared, which
- 1:14:24is hilarious. I get that. Yeah, you know that's after the anchor
- 1:14:30issue. Oh yeah, after the anchor issue. Jeez, Louise, that
- 1:14:34was just he said that he didn't hear Ben's name, so he didn't He
- 1:14:38wasn't throwing him under the bus, and I do believe him, but he
- 1:14:42completely screwed up by not checking about the clicks or the notches on how many
- 1:14:48to go down for that anchor, and that can be very dangerous. So
- 1:14:51yeah, a lot of screw ups already, and a slow chef. M
- 1:14:58oh yeah, the courses are coming out to slow. I bet that's going
- 1:15:01to be blamed on his galley and it's messy gaalley, so we'll see.
- 1:15:08Well, it was a lot you know to do on the first night,
- 1:15:12which was a four course meal. Yeah, whenever you get into those courses,
- 1:15:16it's just it's never what you think you want, you know, because
- 1:15:20it ends up taking so long. I mean, four courses isn't that much,
- 1:15:24but you know, it just ends up being an eight hour dinner and
- 1:15:30you're dealing with I mean, in his defense, he's in a brand new
- 1:15:35setup, brand new everything, so it's not like second nature to him.
- 1:15:40It's not like a kitchen at a restaurant that he's worked at for five years
- 1:15:43or something. So yeah, yeah, I'll tell you any last thoughts on
- 1:15:53below, Dick, No, I just said I'm excited for this season.
- 1:16:00Okay, great? Is that Okay? I think that's something that's great.
- 1:16:03I think it's really nice. I love it. Yeah. Yeah, well
