Dr. Trey. 36 00:02:42,500 --> 00:02:54,500 Do you think they're trying to scoop themselves because some of these matches or hall of fame inductions get picked up by ESPN or variety or whatever it is? 37 00:02:54,500 --> 00:03:01,500 So by putting it out on "X," they're able to scoop themselves so to speak and keep the... 38 00:03:01,500 --> 00:03:07,500 Instead of waiting to make it official the following Monday for "Fear of It Getting Out." 39 00:03:07,500 --> 00:03:16,500 There's gonna be some... I don't know. Maybe they owe Elon a favor and that's why they put it out on "X." Who knows. 40 00:03:16,500 --> 00:03:32,500 But I'm actually moderately excited for this match. Maybe not the build, maybe not everything else, but this might be one of those work-rate dream matches like two guys, athletically gifted. 41 00:03:32,500 --> 00:03:42,500 One of the best performers of our generation against a guy who's incredibly talented, who has delivered every opportunity. 42 00:03:42,500 --> 00:03:52,500 He's had so far in the ring. I'm excited about this match just because of what the match itself might be. Maybe not so much the build to get to it. 43 00:03:52,500 --> 00:03:59,500 This is gonna be a test for Logan Paul. We believe he's talented. We believe he's athletic. 44 00:03:59,500 --> 00:04:15,500 This is the match and some may say, "Well, what about the Rollins match?" I hear you, but I feel like as Dr. Trey pointed out last week, AJ Styles could wrestle a broomstick at WrestleMania 41 and we would walk out of that week and going. That may be the best match of the weekend. 45 00:04:15,500 --> 00:04:25,500 I think this is a blue chip true test. You were going in there with one of the top veterans in the game right now in AJ Styles. 46 00:04:25,500 --> 00:04:35,500 I just have this vibe that maybe this is a match that puts Logan Paul, the in-ring performer on the map and moves him up a level, Dr. Trey. 47 00:04:35,500 --> 00:04:39,500 I'm excited for this one because Logan does carry his own in the ring. 48 00:04:39,500 --> 00:04:45,500 Yeah, some of the knocks on Logan is he's still a buck shot, Larry. 49 00:04:45,500 --> 00:04:55,500 He did the assault and the mood assault and battery move and then he said he's never doing that again because the internet flameless. 50 00:04:55,500 --> 00:05:03,500 All of a sudden, we get to do pole for eyes or finisher, which is a beautiful looking move. 51 00:05:03,500 --> 00:05:13,500 This one is like, we all kind of think that 2025 after WrestleMania. Logan Paul is a guy who could challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship. 52 00:05:13,500 --> 00:05:24,500 He could be on RAW as the World Heavyweight Champion and you need that match with somebody like AJ at WrestleMania to really cement. 53 00:05:24,500 --> 00:05:34,500 Especially like this is not AJ from five years ago. This is AJ who's still great but coming up multiple injuries, maybe lost half a step. 54 00:05:34,500 --> 00:05:40,500 Maybe Logan has to carry more weight in this match than he did with Seth Rollins. 55 00:05:40,500 --> 00:05:47,500 Can Logan ascend to that next level and really kind of take the ball by the orange so to speak? 56 00:05:47,500 --> 00:05:57,500 Let's get to the confirmed matches that are still will be breaking down here the first being Cody Rhodes defending WWE Championship against John Cena on SmackDown, Orton and Drew. 57 00:05:57,500 --> 00:06:01,500 Maggattire have their eyes set on Cody already post WrestleMania 41. 58 00:06:01,500 --> 00:06:07,500 Cody confirms on RAW that they will be main eventing night to close out WrestleMania 41 weekend. 59 00:06:07,500 --> 00:06:21,500 Cena and Rhodes open up RAW for the third straight of week and have another great back and forth. This version pulled no punches making references to Vince McMahon picking Cena as his champion to Cody quote stealing money from billionaire's children. 60 00:06:21,500 --> 00:06:28,500 Okay Tony Khan. It has felt like they have raised the bar each week with their promo battles and this has been really fun. 61 00:06:28,500 --> 00:06:39,500 They close it out with Cody laying out Cena with a crossroads and I hope there is an agap from now until the next time they have an confrontation on WWE television heading to WrestleMania 41. 62 00:06:39,500 --> 00:06:45,500 There's a bunch of rumors out there that this may have been seen as last television appearance before WrestleMania 41. 63 00:06:45,500 --> 00:06:52,500 I hope that is not the case. Cena was not promoted for an upcuffing in the condition of SmackDown or RAW so that does have me concerned. 64 00:06:52,500 --> 00:07:02,500 Maybe that's why they had him get laid out heading in WrestleMania 41. Each week during this international tour, Dr. Trey, it was like week one in Belgium really good. 65 00:07:02,500 --> 00:07:13,500 Week two in Glasgow really good. Even better in week three here we are in London, O2 Arena and this was like the best one they have yet. 66 00:07:13,500 --> 00:07:20,500 This has been really really good my work heading into WrestleMania 41. Your thoughts on the build for Cody and Cena. 67 00:07:20,500 --> 00:07:31,500 Yeah but I agree with the way everything is kind of gone. My only excuse I'm sorry you are at the scene where I'm going to go off because I had strep last week after we finished up the show. 68 00:07:31,500 --> 00:07:46,500 So my throat is still a little raspy. But this one, I don't know Jeff, this last one the promo was great but it kind of felt more like babyface Cena when he was serious. 69 00:07:46,500 --> 00:07:53,500 Whether it was him calling out Roman Reigns like you better get used to this big dog if you want to step up. 70 00:07:53,500 --> 00:08:06,500 Like it was kind of like that. Like it wasn't as I guess, darting or like directed at the audience as much other than calling them dumb for buying into Cody. 71 00:08:06,500 --> 00:08:20,500 Which isn't really a heel thing. It's still kind of baby, they were still a little baby face but for the most part like I still ate it up. This felt more like rock and Cena WrestleMania 29 and 30. 72 00:08:20,500 --> 00:08:32,500 Where you kind of didn't know which side you were on like I ate up both things these guys are saying and the funny part is is that the one thing I really want Cody to address. 73 00:08:32,500 --> 00:08:40,500 He hasn't done which is Cody standing where John Cena was 12 years ago calling out the rock. 74 00:08:40,500 --> 00:08:52,500 For being part time for turning his back on the universe and how John Cena ate rock up about that but now rock but now Cena is doing the exact same thing. 75 00:08:52,500 --> 00:09:03,500 We haven't gone there yet really but outside of that that was one of better back and forth promos we've seen but maybe the worst sneak attack punch I have ever seen thrown. 76 00:09:03,500 --> 00:09:10,500 Like that was so telegraphed but outside of that it was really really well done the promos back and forth. 77 00:09:10,500 --> 00:09:19,500 Yeah I thought they did a great job and I think that they hit the points that is buzz worthy to grab people's attention online right. 78 00:09:19,500 --> 00:09:32,500 I mean that's what you're trying to get is you want people hate like because that was running daytime here in the United States being over in London and people may be scrolling on X whatever and they're seeing these clips from WWE or 79 00:09:32,500 --> 00:09:39,500 from a wrestling website that's like talking about Cena's referencing Tony Khan on WWE television. 80 00:09:39,500 --> 00:09:45,500 Cody's referencing Vince McMahon on WWE television and people are going to go out of their way to check that out. 81 00:09:45,500 --> 00:10:01,500 I like the back and forth I agree with you to the extent that the punch was it was weak right the interaction there was certainly weak but I just felt like that they've raised the bar each and every week and they've done a very good job of getting the right. 82 00:10:01,500 --> 00:10:22,500 I was really excited about getting me excited for this WrestleMania match and as I was watching the segment I was like I think if this was a segment where I don't know let's say Cena was a face I don't think I would be this intrigued and this is like this it would have just been a feud on respect. 83 00:10:22,500 --> 00:10:32,500 I think they're doing this and they're going back and forth and there's some animosity there is pulling me in more than if it was like a battle of respect. 84 00:10:32,500 --> 00:10:40,500 Do you think we need at least one appearance for the rock between now and many like you said. 85 00:10:40,500 --> 00:10:41,500 Oh yeah. 86 00:10:41,500 --> 00:10:51,500 I only got two more laws between them like for a guy who got is asked by three guys at elimination chamber. 87 00:10:51,500 --> 00:10:54,500 We've only seen one of those three guys really. 88 00:10:54,500 --> 00:10:55,500 Yeah. 89 00:10:55,500 --> 00:11:06,500 We kind of need something else to kind of bait the hook so to speak I think lead into like I think it's fine but it still feels a little bit of like. 90 00:11:06,500 --> 00:11:27,500 I don't want to say it's mutual disrespect or how it's not mutual adverb like it just doesn't feel as it feels doesn't feel personal doesn't feel violent yet like we've seen one crossroads really like that's it like and these guys beat you down and left you bloody and laying in the ring. 91 00:11:27,500 --> 00:11:35,500 Like I think we still need a little bit more something else on the hook to really cement this for night to a WrestleMania. 92 00:11:35,500 --> 00:11:44,500 Well that's what scene of rocks I mean roads brought up right like why did you sell your soul to the rock and he did not really answer that question. 93 00:11:44,500 --> 00:11:55,500 That is the thing the one thing and I talked about in last week's part two that's the one thing I feel like has been missing is the explanation from elimination chamber from both performers. 94 00:11:55,500 --> 00:12:10,500 And it's yeah and it's saying like I'm gonna take this belt and go home like is that what the rock said to do like you're gonna take this belt and like that's not really what he says when you selling Cody I want you to be my champion. 95 00:12:10,500 --> 00:12:19,500 Well I've seen us taking that spot doesn't he expect seen it to be his champion if you just take the belt and go off into the sunset then. 96 00:12:19,500 --> 00:12:37,500 Are you really the champion of that like it's just we need a little bit more I guess clarity on the situation before we get to WrestleMania and I'm hoping that it's not I'm hoping clarity doesn't come at backlash I want clarity by WrestleMania or by the end of WrestleMania. 97 00:12:37,500 --> 00:12:52,500 Like I said there's a raw this Monday obviously many happens Minnesota in the following week on the 14th is the final go home edition of raw and we'll see we'll see how they they elevate this feud going forward but does have people talking there's a lot of buzz there are some. 98 00:12:52,500 --> 00:13:03,500 There are some steps to the story that are missing and if they can kind of tie that off with the bow these next two weeks I think we have a very very exciting match heading into WrestleMania 41. 99 00:13:03,500 --> 00:13:09,500 Something that I thought had a great moment on raw was the furthering of the Gunther versus J.U. 100 00:13:09,500 --> 00:13:21,500 So match for WrestleMania 41 for the World Heavyweight Championship Gunther defeats Jimmy Uso on raw in a competitive match until Gunther took over and started beating down and toying with Jimmy coming out of the commercial break Gunther handcuffs J.U. 101 00:13:21,500 --> 00:13:32,500 So to the rope with tie wraps while he laid out and bloody Jimmy Uso which was a really good segment and an elevated this feud from kind of being stagnant to really intensifying it and hopefully this helps. 102 00:13:32,500 --> 00:13:42,500 J.U. So break out of this confidence funk that he's been going through right now and helps bring some intensity to this feud from his side heading into the final couple of weeks before WrestleMania 41. 103 00:13:42,500 --> 00:13:50,500 It was really well done segment and the image of Gunther with Jimmy's blood all over him was well done and a memorable moment heading into WrestleMania 41. 104 00:13:50,500 --> 00:14:03,500 It reminded me without the kiss Captain obvious it reminded me of the Randy Orton triple H build with Stephanie at WrestleMania 25. 105 00:14:03,500 --> 00:14:10,500 They definitely took a couple of pages out of there but Gunther did not kiss Jimmy Uso he just beat the living shit out of him. 106 00:14:10,500 --> 00:14:15,500 Or when did Jericho punch Shawn Michaels life? 107 00:14:15,500 --> 00:14:25,500 That was not a WrestleMania build I believe I believe that was a build for like a summer slam match or like something in the fall like the no mercy ladder match. 108 00:14:25,500 --> 00:14:37,500 Yeah but it's one of the things where like when you involve somebody else's family in a situation now give it Jimmy's a wrestler so it's a little different than Stephanie or Mrs. Shawn Michaels. 109 00:14:37,500 --> 00:14:46,500 But it's a little different but yeah like just the brutality the blood like that's just that's Gunther on a different level than we've seen. 110 00:14:46,500 --> 00:14:55,500 Uh nitpicking thing is that when Jimmy went to the floor before we saw the blood on him when he went to come up nobody had gloves on. 111 00:14:55,500 --> 00:15:04,500 And I was like that means his fake blood because otherwise they would have put the gloves on right away before they touched it plus not the mention Gunther licked the blood off his finger. 112 00:15:04,500 --> 00:15:17,500 I thought the red gloves on when they came when they brought Jimmy into the ring that then he had the gloves on but when they were actually on the apron on the floor checking on Jimmy before you saw him. 113 00:15:17,500 --> 00:15:20,500 His head come up before Gunther pulled them back into the ring. 114 00:15:20,500 --> 00:15:26,500 Nobody had gloves on was that was a hundred percent fake blood I mean it was so bright red so. 115 00:15:26,500 --> 00:15:46,500 But I was just like the little nitpicker in me was like a high if you try to sell that's real blood throw them gloves on first guys we've seen it I mean you did it with Seth I mean with that's you with with Mac and Tyre and punk as soon as Mac and Tyre got busted up before they even checked to see if he was okay the gloves went on. 116 00:15:46,500 --> 00:16:05,500 So you know that's just different but yeah it was super violent super kind of gory and I love that stuff like blood for the right reason is good and when you're selling the fact that Gunther is so deplorable that he's going to make Jay watch as he just dissect his own twin brother. 117 00:16:05,500 --> 00:16:16,500 I don't know how how can you make that confidence any better for a guy when you're like my twin brother just got dissected by this guy like what can I do. 118 00:16:16,500 --> 00:16:31,500 The only thing coming out of that was also the does this take Jimmy out of the US picture rest the US title picture WrestleMania because I don't know how you put Jimmy back on the show in the US title match three weeks later after he just got destroyed by Gunther. 119 00:16:31,500 --> 00:16:45,500 Yeah I actually removed Jimmy from our rumored stuff for the US title picture I think this keeps him out of WrestleMania I think the best you see Jimmy maybe like not necessarily interfere in the match but potentially celebrate if they go with J.U. 120 00:16:45,500 --> 00:16:52,500 So winning J makes Jimmy makes it appearance but it's not going to be as an in-ring performer at WrestleMania 41 at this point. 121 00:16:52,500 --> 00:17:05,500 Jimmy shows up to cancel out the Ludwig Kaiser run in I guess maybe maybe yeah who knows who knows maybe the Rikishi run in next match here it would be Tiffany Stratton defending the WWE women's championship against Charlotte Flair. 122 00:17:05,500 --> 00:17:18,500 Tiffy cuts a solid promo on Charlotte to hype up their match on SmackDown following Charlotte's victory over Meechin highlighting that there is a ton of pressure on Charlotte not losing to a quote rookie at WrestleMania 41. 123 00:17:18,500 --> 00:17:30,500 It was a really good solid promo but this is kind of like it's the build is running a little flat here I want some up in these next two weeks Dr. Dre. 124 00:17:30,500 --> 00:17:43,500 I was happy to see Tiffy fight back on the microphone because as we talked about last week show when they did the backstage vignette where they were going back and forth it did not look great but the promo here on Friday SmackDown I thought was solid. 125 00:17:43,500 --> 00:17:48,500 And your thoughts here on the build for Tiffany Stratton versus Charlotte Flair. 126 00:17:48,500 --> 00:18:05,500 Tiffy is good when it's kind of laid out for her like I still don't think she's comfortable being a baby face like her entire NXT runs been a heel even her main raw shot on the majority of it has been a heel. 127 00:18:05,500 --> 00:18:13,500 It's just that kind of by the fall you know Charlotte's a bigger heel and so people don't want to do for Charlotte Flair. 128 00:18:13,500 --> 00:18:27,500 I the only thing from Tiffany I want to see now is I got to see her get a little edgy or the ring I got to see her kind of get the upper hand on Charlotte because Charlotte is going to dominate the physical confrontations heading into WrestleMania. 129 00:18:27,500 --> 00:18:46,500 She's dominating the verbal Tiffany gets a little bit of payback this week just I just need to see Tiffany kind of bring out a maybe a little bit serious side a gritty side a little more depth to show that she's willing to fight for this championship and not just you know get run over because she's a rookie. 130 00:18:46,500 --> 00:19:02,500 Eosky versus Bianca Belair for the women's world championship build continued forward this past Monday and on raw as EO versus Rio with Bianca's the special guest referee ends in a double disqualification after both Rio and EO both lay out Bianca inadvertently multiple times in the match. 131 00:19:02,500 --> 00:19:16,500 The now to hyped it up now that it's now EO versus Bianca WrestleMania 41 with no real path for real at WrestleMania 41 right now I am intrigued to see if and how they make this into a triple threat match with just two episodes of raw left before WrestleMania 41. 132 00:19:16,500 --> 00:19:19,500 This was the main event and close on raw this past Monday. 133 00:19:19,500 --> 00:19:27,500 Dr. Trey thoughts on the EOS guy versus Bianca Belair build with Rio Ripley in the background. 134 00:19:27,500 --> 00:19:38,500 Yeah it's I still don't know how I feel about it because like I like the back and forth I like Bianca getting frustrated I thought the DQ thing was expected. 135 00:19:38,500 --> 00:19:47,500 Now Rhea's got a really kind of insert herself and make them both like ask to have her be included and I don't know how you get there yet. 136 00:19:47,500 --> 00:19:53,500 I don't know how you get there without a feeling forced as well like you kind of want this to feel like a natural thing and. 137 00:19:53,500 --> 00:20:01,500 I guess maybe because it's the old school wrestling fan we've been we've been watching this stuff for 30 40 years we've seen this kind of path laid out. 138 00:20:01,500 --> 00:20:20,500 I was just kind of for some little fresh and different but um yeah I there the three best women wrestlers on raw not late not named Liv Morgan so I guess I'm fine with it I just I just feel like there's something missing something is maybe because they're all baby faces they're all people that the fans cheer for it I don't know who to. 139 00:20:20,500 --> 00:20:32,500 Route against like I like all of them so it's just kind of a weird kind of funky build to have three good guys or three good ladies fighting it out. 140 00:20:32,500 --> 00:20:38,500 Yeah it's a bit strange I think we've been talking about this the entire time. 141 00:20:38,500 --> 00:20:49,500 I don't know if I'm really enjoying it so far doctor try I don't think I'm invested in the Rhea chase for WrestleMania 41 because I feel like she's there. 142 00:20:49,500 --> 00:20:59,500 I was thinking about this the other at the close of raw I was like this reminds me of the John Cena chase for the Undertaker match at WrestleMania in a way. 143 00:20:59,500 --> 00:21:02,500 Do you get that vibe at all. 144 00:21:02,500 --> 00:21:13,500 A little bit yeah it feels it feels re as desperate for no reason like you know it's like you just had the belt. 145 00:21:13,500 --> 00:21:25,500 You're going to get in a shot they're not going to forget about you like you know I get I guess I get her wanting to be on WrestleMania but then we've seen before like okay well you're not going to make this match. 146 00:21:25,500 --> 00:21:41,500 I'm just going to make an impact in another match where you can't deny me and it just it just feels forced and for most of this I felt like Rhea felt like the winy little kid in this whole thing too which is not her character is supposed to be which is so weird. 147 00:21:41,500 --> 00:21:58,500 I guess I don't care enough about any like I don't get the rivalry I like if this is just Bianca and Rhea yeah I'm good man like down I'm psyched up for because it's just who's the biggest who's the baddest let him go at it. 148 00:21:58,500 --> 00:22:05,500 Adding you know Eo into the mix it just kind of makes it feel like out of sorts and clunky I guess. 149 00:22:05,500 --> 00:22:17,500 Yeah that's an interesting point that you make there because Rhea's come off very desperate and that and I get that it's WrestleMania 41 season but it just as you would put it does not fit her character well. 150 00:22:17,500 --> 00:22:33,500 I think her getting a win somehow is the way that it goes about and who knows maybe we'll see over the next two weeks Bianca has theoretically or at least in Rhea's mind maybe in Rhea's fans mind not necessarily in mind. 151 00:22:33,500 --> 00:22:53,500 Bianca costs Rhea the championship when she dropped to Eo after elimination chamber and obviously Bianca cost Rhea the match this past Monday on Raw maybe maybe you do a Rhea versus Bianca match where if Rhea wins she's in the WrestleMania 41 match doctor try. 152 00:22:53,500 --> 00:23:11,500 And then if you're if you're Bianca why do you agree to that you already got your spot you know it's just it's just to put her in like I guess in a way they're doing it better than they did the Charlotte Becky Ronda one where all of us and Vince just put Charlotte into the match for no reason. 153 00:23:11,500 --> 00:23:25,500 At least they're trying to give Rhea away in that is believable but if you're Bianca like why am I rest look sets not wrestling a match between elimination chamber WrestleMania Roman's not wrestling punks. 154 00:23:25,500 --> 00:23:40,500 Why do I need to wrestle between now and WrestleMania if my spots already secure you know at this point like I won the chamber I've already got my spot secure I don't need to put myself in harm's way that's how I would treat for me I think. 155 00:23:40,500 --> 00:24:05,500 If you reveal like the week before that Bianca's actually the heel in all of this and then everybody's gonna want to hear going to ask it by either Rhea or Eo then I think we're more invested but right now it's just kind of like it's it's three horses racing for the finish line and you just want to see a good race but you just don't care who wins. 156 00:24:05,500 --> 00:24:14,500 Moving on here Kevin Owens versus Randy Orton, KO cost Orton a match against McIntyre on Smackdown KO narrowly avoid being punted by Kevin Owens. 157 00:24:14,500 --> 00:24:28,500 They are quasi hyping up the punt/return to the punt which has me wondering if Sammy makes return and maybe sacrifices himself to be punted by Orton or if Orton and Sammy gang up to punt Owens to put him on the shelf for a little bit. 158 00:24:28,500 --> 00:24:41,500 Something is definitely going down with the punt for sure because Orton did hyping up post Smackdown as it's the punt kick versus the pile driver and it was also revealed that this match will be on night one of Russ Manie 41-2. 159 00:24:41,500 --> 00:24:46,500 Thoughts and takeaways on the Kevin Owens Randy Orton build for Russ Manie 41 so far Dr. Try. 160 00:24:46,500 --> 00:24:56,500 I'm enjoying it. It is kind of funny that it's the punt which is not his finisher versus the pile driver which is not his finisher but that's where we're going because that's the move that can injure people. 161 00:24:56,500 --> 00:25:09,500 So not the actual finishing moves of the stunner versus the RKO. It's the punt versus the pile driver but once again it's Kevin and Randy these guys you could have them go out there and argue over who has the best link. 162 00:25:09,500 --> 00:25:21,500 Vest LaZanya or Chicken Parm and I'm going to be invested in the storyline because these are two of my favorite performers so like right now night one is must see for me regardless of the rest of the card. 163 00:25:21,500 --> 00:25:31,500 Yeah speaking of night one Roman Reigns versus Seth Freakin Rollins versus CM Punk. They have the contract signing segment on Smackdown which reveals that they will be main eventing night one of Russ Manie 41. 164 00:25:31,500 --> 00:25:41,500 It was an interesting segment as Seth Rollins was pissed off that punk is getting that spot. Heyman and Reigns seem to think that that was the favor owed to him but it isn't and CM Punk's mine. 165 00:25:41,500 --> 00:25:49,500 And then there's these little Easter eggs like are people noticing Paul Heyman telling punk not to acknowledge Roman Reigns. 166 00:25:49,500 --> 00:26:01,500 Roman Reigns asking punk to acknowledge him and you see Paul Heyman shake his head and just mouth the words don't something is inner is definitely going on there and it's an 167 00:26:01,500 --> 00:26:19,500 interesting between CM Punk and Paul Heyman punk keeps winking and Heyman Heyman very happy and excited that punk to the main event of Russ Mania we've never seen this dynamic before with anyone and Roman Reigns since Paul Heyman has been the wise man where the wise man equally love someone as much as he loves Roman Reigns. 168 00:26:19,500 --> 00:26:28,500 This has been fun and now CM Punk and say that he is a main eventer of WrestleMania doctor try thoughts and takeaways on this triple threat match that will be main eventing 169 00:26:28,500 --> 00:26:38,500 WrestleMania night one. Savoy's argue that all they went punk says he's never made event in WrestleMania because I did me I always go like you wrestled the undertaker at WrestleMania. 170 00:26:38,500 --> 00:26:43,500 That wasn't that the close the show I was in the building did not close the show. 171 00:26:43,500 --> 00:26:50,500 But there's been like if you go back and look at those say oh there was four main events that night but only one can close the show so. 172 00:26:50,500 --> 00:26:55,500 That's what I've always thought was the actual like that's the main event of WrestleMania. 173 00:26:55,500 --> 00:27:03,500 Yeah, whatever was the show to be was the main event but like WWE was saying you know back when taker was in closing the show they was still calling a main event match. 174 00:27:03,500 --> 00:27:15,500 So yeah I also I love the little I love the kiss like seeing Heyman kiss him a bit you go back to the cage match on raw and Heyman is the one in the ring checking on punk. 175 00:27:15,500 --> 00:27:25,500 So there is a crazy little dynamic going on which we really have a scene that you said we haven't seen it all we saw it a little bit with when Lesnar came back. 176 00:27:25,500 --> 00:27:31,500 The whole is is Heyman beside or or Roman side but never just level. 177 00:27:31,500 --> 00:27:41,500 Yeah, you know not to this degree where it's open it's it's you know Heyman is not denying like Heyman literally is checking on punk at all time. 178 00:27:41,500 --> 00:27:52,500 So and this is to me like I love this dynamic because on paper once again it's three baby faces but sets kind of a heel. 179 00:27:52,500 --> 00:28:05,500 Roman's attitude in the ring at the contest I was very much old school tribal chief like it's still kind of a heel persona and the whole thing is everybody's supposed to hate punk because he's the snake or the cancer. 180 00:28:05,500 --> 00:28:18,500 So it's all three or baby faces but all three have heel tendency so whichever dynamic they play out during the match people eat up so like to me like I'm more excited about night one. 181 00:28:18,500 --> 00:28:21,500 Then I have night two right now on paper. 182 00:28:21,500 --> 00:28:31,500 Let's look to the rumored matches Drew McIntyre versus Damien Priest still not confirmed I keep saying each week the last two episodes from like I expect by the next time we come here. 183 00:28:31,500 --> 00:28:35,500 This match is official still feel that way but it's not official yet. 184 00:28:35,500 --> 00:28:40,500 Damien Priest jokes the I was McIntyre onto a car on Smackdown. 185 00:28:40,500 --> 00:28:50,500 McIntyre gets a glass in his eye and they used real glass in that segment as see I'm pucke was walking by wink wink nudge nudge. 186 00:28:50,500 --> 00:28:55,500 Dr. Trey I can't believe this is not the new and confirmed pile. 187 00:28:55,500 --> 00:29:09,500 All right I got to ask you this and then before we get into this match we criticize AW when they take shots at WWE they're now free shots fired in AW the last few weeks between the I work with children. 188 00:29:09,500 --> 00:29:16,500 Oh my god it's real glass and then oh my god and then you stole money from a billionaire's kit. 189 00:29:16,500 --> 00:29:38,500 So I need to criticize w a little bit about taking the shots when we knock AW for this this is this is going to sound very day w e homerish but I do have I thought about this W we shots and Easter eggs are not so subtle and you have to know you have to be pay pay and attention. 190 00:29:38,500 --> 00:30:01,500 Right it's w we shot or AW shots the w we was so direct where it was and so frequent that it was like lost its its zest like I thought the the line from Cena was really well done and thoughtful and made a ton of sense to help build their feud. 191 00:30:01,500 --> 00:30:30,500 I think the things that they've done has helped build their feuds and their matches while in when AW does it it it doesn't build anything other than just show the disdain and anger and hatred that that company has for WWE and that their owner and Tony Khan has for WWE does that does that makes sense because of AW was doing shots that like okay that makes that's funny there's some zest behind it and adds fuel to the storyline. 192 00:30:30,500 --> 00:30:40,500 So did we like we I can't remember this has been it's been six years did we like when Cody smash the throne. 193 00:30:40,500 --> 00:30:44,500 I didn't like it at the time because I they hadn't done anything. 194 00:30:44,500 --> 00:30:52,500 Okay because that's because it basically I saw the remember the edge Daniel Bryan Ricky starts promo. 195 00:30:52,500 --> 00:31:05,500 And people say that like Ricky starts got buried by by Adam Copeland. 196 00:31:05,500 --> 00:31:34,500 So I guess WWE is is a little better at inserting those things like you said to kind of further storylines where when AW takes a shot it's usually an interview like with a podcast or reporter or it's just so overtly blatant that it's just kind of like guys you're just doing it for the like they're doing it for shock value instead of furthering their own accord. 197 00:31:34,500 --> 00:31:44,500 Yes I guess is is that we're at so like like I didn't I like I love like when he hit the glass I was I was I literally was like he's gonna raise me say something about real glass and sure enough he would. 198 00:31:44,500 --> 00:32:02,500 Oh I got this real glass is in my eye and I was like like you knew it was coming he legitimately got glass in his eye that reportedly yeah well I mean and then I you see him on with the patch on social media as well so the I patch but it's just one of the things where it's like I guess. 199 00:32:02,500 --> 00:32:29,500 Like I'm not a huge fan of it but I do like that they do it better because at least when they do it when WWE does it sorry pronouns pal when WWE does it it is to further a storyline of something in their company and not just a direct shot at the competition where when AW does it it does feel like they're doing it for shock value or clickbait or. 200 00:32:29,500 --> 00:32:37,500 Hey look at me look at me look at me yeah like I work with children when punk said it I was watching live and I was like what what did he just say. 201 00:32:37,500 --> 00:32:46,500 Like he caught me off guard like it was like okay that's funny it's funny and it also further the Roman reign Seth wrong stuff it's up that he's still saying. 202 00:32:46,500 --> 00:32:58,500 The line again from John Cena keep going back to I thought was really well done the Drew McAter punk stuff like him walk and buy it's it's too full there right one he feud with Drew McAter in the few of the year last year. 203 00:32:58,500 --> 00:33:08,500 And two it's like it's a it's a car it's class like that's to me was funny so I think WWE does it tastefully better than AW. 204 00:33:08,500 --> 00:33:27,500 Okay but yeah like and I mean really I'm surprised I'm surprised they did announce this match on X like I mean I know you put a guy through a windshield like all right let's just go and put it out there because it's got to be a WrestleMania match it'll probably be on night two to kind of bounce stuff out a little bit. 205 00:33:27,500 --> 00:33:40,500 Because I kind of feel like Jay and Gunther will be on night one also so you kind of need some bigger matches on night to kind of bounce the card out but at this point got you put a man through a windshield go ahead and put out there. 206 00:33:40,500 --> 00:33:55,500 By the way punk should have set a line like when when when when Drew said dear God that's real glass if punk said yeah I know better than that something as the walk away line as he's walking past within great too. 207 00:33:55,500 --> 00:34:05,500 So yeah I'm surprised that this is not been a beneficial yet but do we expect it to be made official on Friday Smackdown now doctor try. 208 00:34:05,500 --> 00:34:16,500 I mean I would hope so yeah it's crazy this one's like shocking at this at this point what's left is Drew gonna throw pre I was Drew go through a freeze throw barbershop window or something like I don't know what else is left. 209 00:34:16,500 --> 00:34:37,500 I don't know it's been good they've done a good job the US title picture I have no clue where this is going so we've this is in the rumored match category we've had Solace to go versus Jake Vatu we have LA night defending against Jacob Vatu or Braun Strowman for the US championship we've had LA night defending against Jacob Vatu Braun Strowman and Solace to go in a fatal four way match. 210 00:34:37,500 --> 00:34:49,500 It is all over the place but we expect something to come out of this at WrestleMania 41 I'm right now leaning towards another fatal four way of LA night versus Jacob Vatu versus Braun Strowman versus Solace to go for the US title. 211 00:34:49,500 --> 00:34:55,500 Fat 2 interferes in LA night versus Braun Strowman title match on Smackdown laying out both men. 212 00:34:55,500 --> 00:35:05,500 Fat 2 is super over with the crowd he has the interaction backstage with Tomatanga and Solace Akowa where they were questioning why did he go out there and do it without any support and backup. 213 00:35:05,500 --> 00:35:11,500 Fat 2 responds back well you did it the week prior that cost me the match and you didn't let me know. 214 00:35:11,500 --> 00:35:23,500 Fat 2 is he's a star man and the crowd is eating them up thoughts on where the US title picture is right now heading in the WrestleMania 41 doctor try. 215 00:35:23,500 --> 00:35:29,500 Yeah it's it's all over the place. 216 00:35:29,500 --> 00:35:44,500 I don't know why you I'm kind of leaning this might not even make the WrestleMania car that this might end up on Smackdown unless they have something big plan in this match for that like star making moment for Jacob this may end up on Smackdown. 217 00:35:44,500 --> 00:35:58,500 Because I outside of Jacob does anybody really care about the other three guys right now like is LA night still super over like I don't I feel like his star is diminished quite a bit since where we were at last year. 218 00:35:58,500 --> 00:36:20,500 So I and maybe like and once again is is shinsuke completely out of picture or is he still on the roster like I don't know what his situation is like it's it's a very muddled picture for the US title which makes me feel like if if nobody's over then the nothing's over so then that match ends up on Smackdown. 219 00:36:20,500 --> 00:36:24,500 I don't think this ends up on Smackdown. 220 00:36:24,500 --> 00:36:30,500 I don't think they're going to put fought to on Smackdown you really think so. 221 00:36:30,500 --> 00:36:45,500 I don't I don't think so but like if unless he's going over and getting the title like if you're not if you're putting the title on fought to yeah put on WrestleMania because he's going to be a WrestleMania man of enter within the next two to three years. 222 00:36:45,500 --> 00:37:01,500 If he's not going over then you put on Smackdown so you can still kind of hide fought to from that crowd at that point is that does that make sense like you want I just I can't see fought to going on on Smackdown and many right now. 223 00:37:01,500 --> 00:37:04,500 But I did I did I would be a missed opportunity for them. 224 00:37:04,500 --> 00:37:08,500 You need people to tune into an LA night till. 225 00:37:08,500 --> 00:37:13,500 That's why that's why mask is LA night still as over yes he was. 226 00:37:13,500 --> 00:37:15,500 Yes couple couple weeks ago in Barcelona. 227 00:37:15,500 --> 00:37:17,500 I mean the crowd would absolutely insane form. 228 00:37:17,500 --> 00:37:27,500 Okay so that's the case. Yeah put it on you know once again it comes down to how many matches are you going to have on the show like if it's 12 it's close to the cut line. 229 00:37:27,500 --> 00:37:32,500 If it's 14 it's safe. 230 00:37:32,500 --> 00:37:42,500 But yeah like at this point you got to have Jacob go over unless you're in some kind of weird swir thing where solo and Tom a turn on Jacob I think that's coming. 231 00:37:42,500 --> 00:37:55,500 And in and Tom a Tonga Tonga Tonga Tonga Tonga low returns Hickaleo and then that forces Jacob out to make him the baby face out of this. 232 00:37:55,500 --> 00:38:07,500 Yeah I think they're ready to strap the rocket chip on thought to I think a year from now we're talking about fought to in a in a main event level match at WrestleMania 41 so what are you what are you leaning towards are you leaning towards a fatal four way. 233 00:38:07,500 --> 00:38:13,500 Yeah leaning towards a four way by the way is a thought to your early pick to win the rumble next year. 234 00:38:13,500 --> 00:38:16,500 Yeah I guess so. 235 00:38:16,500 --> 00:38:35,500 I think a guy like fought to is more of like a money the bank briefcase guy right now but I actually think even like LA night solo those are the type of guys I would be looking at at for for something like that more than a rumble match right now like I could see punk winning the rumble next year. 236 00:38:35,500 --> 00:38:45,500 Yeah but I mean but no way had J.O. so I'm not that that's yeah I do think it's a four way I think it's droman night solo and Jacob. 237 00:38:45,500 --> 00:38:51,500 Next year intercontinental championship rumored match bra and breaker Finn Baller dominant Cereo Penta for the I.C. title. 238 00:38:51,500 --> 00:39:00,500 Finn and Dom Defeat Braun and Penta and a tag match on raw after Braun accidentally spears Penta thanks to Dom giving Finn's a heads up and pushing Penta in the way to get the spear. 239 00:39:00,500 --> 00:39:02,500 Penta gets pin for the first time in WWE. 240 00:39:02,500 --> 00:39:18,500 Braun and Penta get into an argument backstage on raw then also later the night Finsett he was going to talk with Adam Pierce about get an I.C. title shot and Liv stood the pot saying that Dom serves a shot to and plan to talk with Pierce after Finn was done about getting Dom and I.C. title shot as well. 241 00:39:18,500 --> 00:39:26,500 This is another one it isn't an a Damien Drew category doctor trade but I feel like this match becomes official very soon as well. 242 00:39:26,500 --> 00:39:38,500 Yeah I think this one might be a straight out for way and they might put the U.S. title in a ladder match and but then again I can also go to burst because Penta Finn and Dom and Braun and a ladder match would be fun too. 243 00:39:38,500 --> 00:39:43,500 Like one of these two is going to be a straight up for way one of the two will be a gimmick ladder match. 244 00:39:43,500 --> 00:39:51,500 I just don't know which one which yet I agree I could see more the U.S. title being maybe a ladder match versus that one. 245 00:39:51,500 --> 00:40:01,500 Or maybe this match could be a ladder match the street profits defend the WWE tag team chip against the motorcycling machine guns versus DIY versus pretty deadly. 246 00:40:01,500 --> 00:40:11,500 I have I'm starting to feel like low scars is not going to be involved in this one doctor try I feel like it's more likely to be fatal four way now. 247 00:40:11,500 --> 00:40:20,500 So I've actually removed low scars is from this match be interesting if you feel the same way street profits defeat pretty deadly in a title match on smack down in their home country. 248 00:40:20,500 --> 00:40:31,500 Motorcycling machine guns claims they are next in line in an exclusive segment that aired on X following smack down thoughts here where the WWE tag team championship is going for WrestleMania 41. 249 00:40:31,500 --> 00:40:45,500 I think this might be down to a triple threat I mean when you when you have pretty deadly lose in their home country like that's kind of their WrestleMania match in a lot of ways like that crowd was super hot for them. 250 00:40:45,500 --> 00:41:00,500 This might to be these profits guns and DIY because I mean you can't keep I mean once again you don't you have one you have two triple threat is trying to bounce the card out because you don't want too many the same style things going on. 251 00:41:00,500 --> 00:41:12,500 So maybe this one is just becomes a triple threat with the top three teams because low scars and pretty deadly of kind of eliminate themselves in the last couple of weeks. 252 00:41:12,500 --> 00:41:28,500 Jade car girl versus Naomi Naomi's had had a very cool segment to explain herself on smack down I thought that was really well done great character arc and development there for Naomi Naomi takes out beef having me Chen who were signing with Jade before me Chen's match against Charlotte Flair. 253 00:41:28,500 --> 00:41:34,500 Also did we see some foreshadowing between Jaden Charlotte as they went either for future match. 254 00:41:34,500 --> 00:41:41,500 Jade car goal versus Naomi doctor try I feel like this is another one that is close to being made official soon as well. 255 00:41:41,500 --> 00:41:50,500 Yeah I think it'll be official and did Naomi steal some clothing from the Owen Hart wardrobe line like all the warning stuff like I had Owen Hart flashbacks. 256 00:41:50,500 --> 00:42:16,500 If she says enough is enough in time it's time for a change and I'm all for it. Yeah I mean enough enough is of J car goal so but yeah I mean Charlotte Jade is one of those matches that people talk about when you look at like size, strength, speed, agility, like lot of similarities there as well so that could be some foreshadowing because Charlotte basically said like she's the queen of the smack down division. 257 00:42:16,500 --> 00:42:22,500 So if she comes out on top you're going to need a challenger for Charlotte who better that point would be even Jade. 258 00:42:22,500 --> 00:42:34,500 Ray Mr. Davis Chad Gable another rumored match here Gable wasn't clear for this past weeks raw but El Grande Americana will be in the ring this Monday on raw and Gables hotel hometown of Minneapolis Minnesota. 259 00:42:34,500 --> 00:42:42,500 Not much more to write home on this one doctor are we feeling confident not confident that this is going to make the rest of any 41 card. 260 00:42:42,500 --> 00:43:11,500 It's going to be Gable against Mysterio or American Mavers of the LWL like it's going to be some combination of those guys like I hate the creepers getting left off the show because they're young and super talented I also hate that you know drag and Lee you know and you know whoever else for the LWL you want to throw in that mix will be left off as well but on paper Gable and Mysterio is another match that could steal the show. 261 00:43:11,500 --> 00:43:16,500 So whichever combination they go with on that I think it's fine. 262 00:43:16,500 --> 00:43:30,500 Yeah every time I hear all Grande Americana I just want to go to Starbucks and get a prep of Gina live more going to recall Rodriguez defending W. Women's Tag Team Champions against the library of a curian valkirian Bailey is a match that we discussed here on last week show. 263 00:43:30,500 --> 00:43:42,500 Live in Raquel matching in a backstage segment that they need to do something about Bailey and Lyra so it looks like this potential match is gaining some momentum Lyra does challenge Bailey to a women's inner continental championship match on this week's raw. 264 00:43:42,500 --> 00:43:53,500 Maxine DePree had a backstage segment where she was talking Anna Pearson said her and Natalia been discussing some tag team ideas so maybe they could be added to some sort of rest of any 41 matches well. 265 00:43:53,500 --> 00:43:58,500 What are thoughts here confident not confident that this is landing on rest of any 41. 266 00:43:58,500 --> 00:44:03,500 Live Raquel is Bailey and Lyra I think it's going to land on WrestleMania. 267 00:44:03,500 --> 00:44:14,500 I mean you got to have Bailey on the show you got to have live on the show you want to have your women's inner continental title on the show somehow so in a tag match for the women's tag belts make sense. 268 00:44:14,500 --> 00:44:22,500 The war Raiders defending the World Tag Team Champions against the new day the new day defeated the returning no catch repub new catch republic on raw for them. 269 00:44:22,500 --> 00:44:46,500 For them earning a shot at the World Tag Team Champion war Raiders who come out post match to confront the new day I wonder if this match lands on the WrestleMania 41 card or on a raw heading into WrestleMania 41 match instead sidebar I don't like seeing them returning new catch republic losing in their home country in the first match back nonetheless war Raiders new day confident not confident that this lands on WrestleMania 41 doctor try. 270 00:44:46,500 --> 00:45:01,500 Once again it kind of comes down to how we imagine you putting on maybe if you're at that 14 mark it probably lands on many because look the new day always does great stuff on WrestleMania like they're always super entertaining so. 271 00:45:01,500 --> 00:45:30,500 And you want to showcase the war Raiders more so like increase that tie team division visibility so if you're doing 14 matches I think it lands on maybe if not the raw before sidebar as well glad to see them back to the other but wasn't Pete done just like a douchebag like two weeks ago and since Tyler Bay comes back like he's we're close like him again now like it was just weird that they threw it back together like we need a challenger. 272 00:45:30,500 --> 00:45:34,500 They'll get cheered in London because they're British. 273 00:45:34,500 --> 00:45:57,500 I agree with you and there was some sort of strange interaction between Pete Dunn and Tyler Bay during the match I think Tyler Bay was like trying to get a high five and Pete Dunn kind of dismissed him so I don't know I'm with you on that because I'm very critical in AW does it and I don't like seeing when WWE does it so that was something that was missing. 274 00:45:57,500 --> 00:46:02,500 Was that their normal things on by the way yes it was. 275 00:46:02,500 --> 00:46:10,500 I guess I never noticed the whole I guess I never noticed the whole chanting of new catcher public and then actually hearing their voices in it. 276 00:46:10,500 --> 00:46:13,500 Yeah it's like I can't even do in that now. 277 00:46:13,500 --> 00:46:14,500 Okay. 278 00:46:14,500 --> 00:46:38,500 And then the last room and match here I have which takes us to including everything that we've covered here 16 matches and Dr. Shren I talked about last week show we feel like the likelihood is that there's going to be seven and seven so 14 total so maybe two of the matches we've discussed here land on a raw or Smackdown heading to media and I could see this match landing on the Smackdown heading to Mania Chelsea green defending the women's United States championship against Selena Vega. 279 00:46:38,500 --> 00:46:58,500 There is some traction here again I'm not sure if it will land on WrestleMania 41 or not but they have been feuding for some time and Chelsea is super over and our secret harvest is super over and I think the crowd wants to see them confident not confident this lands on WrestleMania 41 Dr. Trey. 280 00:46:58,500 --> 00:47:21,500 I think this is a Smackdown match I think it's the Smackdown but I mean Chelsea super over the secret service is super over if you get Malachi Black returning and then aligning with Zelina and dear God if they gave Zelina a little bit of Julia Hart gimmick and teach Zelina how spit missed or whatever that be cool. 281 00:47:21,500 --> 00:47:36,500 But right now I think it's building to eventually be fat me too and Zelina gets the three of them also so it could be the six a six woman tag match on Smackdown and then save the title match for backlash I could see that I could see that's a good point as well. 282 00:47:36,500 --> 00:47:54,500 So there you go WrestleMania 41 card roundup keeping with the WrestleMania news and notes from WrestleMania heading into WrestleMania 41 weekend WWE did announce that they will be inducting Stone Cold Steve Austin versus Brett the Hitman Hart from WrestleMania 13 into the WWE Hall of Fame as an immortal moment. 283 00:47:54,500 --> 00:48:05,500 That's the first of its kind Dr. Trey a new category that they're doing I like it however is this the right first match/moment to go into the WWE Hall of Fame. 284 00:48:05,500 --> 00:48:34,500 Yes because you can get both guys to make an appearance at me at the Hall of Fame ceremony. I like that UFC does this so I think UFC does fights I think WWE is doing the right way of says hey it's not we're not doing best matches we're doing moments and that's an iconic moment because that's the double turn that sent both guys even to a higher level of icons status in WWE. 285 00:48:34,500 --> 00:48:53,500 I mean you know Stone Cold with the blood passing out in the sharpshooter you know that made Brett a heel Stone Cold a baby face and sent them on their paths so I mean it's a great moment to feature I mean triple ages are you going in the Hall of Fame so you don't really want to do anything with you know him or or Sean 286 00:48:53,500 --> 00:49:05,500 Takeer like you want to say that stuff a lot of the other matches from maybe his past guys have passed on like savages steamboat you might get steamboat but you're not going to get savage. 287 00:49:05,500 --> 00:49:16,500 See this is one that see that's the only match I would say I would put in there I would put savage steamboat and maybe takeer HBK from WrestleMania 25 ahead of that one. 288 00:49:16,500 --> 00:49:43,500 Yeah if you're doing matches yes but if you're doing WrestleMania moments that are iconic there's not much more than Austin bleeding out bleeding and passing out from the sharpshooter like that's you know we reference when Becky Lynch had her nose broken that was the reference was right back to Austin Brett Hart so like I'm like once again you can get both guys there you can't get you know savage unfortunately 289 00:49:43,500 --> 00:49:56,500 is passed away so you can get steamboat but steamboat not a great talker at least with Austin and Hart those guys can still talk they can talk about that moment they can talk about what it did and it gets 290 00:49:56,500 --> 00:49:59,500 Stone Cold and Brett Hart to WrestleMania weekend. 291 00:49:59,500 --> 00:50:09,500 And then another announcement here we talked about this on last week's podcast like there is no official announcement what's going on with the Hall of Fame show so the Hall of Fame will be airing live on 292 00:50:09,500 --> 00:50:24,500 peacock YouTube X and tick tock at 10 p.m. Pacific so I guess I will not be watching live and it'll be 1 a.m. in the east on Saturday morning dot tree which I'm fine with I'll go to bed after Smackdown on WrestleMania weekend. 293 00:50:24,500 --> 00:50:29,500 Yeah and then did it with that they named the venue and I'm like I'd never heard of the venue. 294 00:50:29,500 --> 00:50:41,500 It's like the hotel where I think the undertaker one dead man show I think stand on NXT on the CW network is going to be airing on Tuesday and then like the roast of WrestleMania will be there soon. 295 00:50:41,500 --> 00:50:56,500 Are you a little surprised with them being in Vegas they're not using that UFC venue for at least that place dunk I hated that for wrestling that the show back in June I didn't I did not like that where it was it was not a good look very boring. 296 00:50:56,500 --> 00:51:04,500 Yeah I mean but then it's like you're using a hotel like is there going to be a like is somebody going to get like a bell hop service. 297 00:51:04,500 --> 00:51:10,500 Hey collision was just in a hotel as well back in Vegas so and that was like a theater. 298 00:51:10,500 --> 00:51:17,500 You're you're in Connecticut you have the Mohican sun it's a casino and hotel I guess I mean there are there are good venues for some. 299 00:51:17,500 --> 00:51:29,500 So that is a legit arena there for sure I mean that that places a compound so nonetheless I will not be watching the whole thing live one aim on the East Coast Saturday morning so I guess I'll check it out Saturday morning before standing deliver airs. 300 00:51:29,500 --> 00:51:35,500 I think that is one PM on the East I think they're airing on on Saturday afternoon. 301 00:51:35,500 --> 00:51:52,500 Keep it up with the way news here doctor trade Johnson interview with people magazine said today excuse me on Tuesday that more unpredictability is on the way in regards to he and his career or his wrestling persona I should say. 302 00:51:52,500 --> 00:52:06,500 I've been really enjoying the unpredictability of WWE so far whether PJ so winning the Royal Rumble Johnson attorney heal is unpredictability ultimately a good thing for professional wrestling. 303 00:52:06,500 --> 00:52:21,500 Yes if if done in the right amount you don't want it to get to WCW 2001 where there's doing unpredictable stuff for the sake of unpredictability. 304 00:52:21,500 --> 00:52:33,500 If it's in the right structure it's fantastic is we don't want to know all the answers but like you know like most things we kind of want to have a good gauge but we want to be surprised. 305 00:52:33,500 --> 00:53:00,500 As long as we're getting pleasantly surprised and not just you know shock and odd to death because I think that's one of the things you know we talk about with AEW I used to talk about with WC other than it was like you still like stability in your wrestling you like to know who the good guys are who the bad guys are but we like those surprises in those swarves when they're measured correctly. 306 00:53:00,500 --> 00:53:14,500 And then the last thing I want to bring up here on this week's edition the podcast I try would be remiss if I did not talk about this AW dynasty is this Sunday on paper review it'll be coming to us from Philadelphia Pennsylvania. 307 00:53:14,500 --> 00:53:41,500 We don't break these down as much as we used to but the AW has had pretty solid programming as of late a lot of interesting matches on this one like Kenny Omega taken on ricochets people Mike Bailey moxley versus swarves Strickland time of Tony storm versus mega Bane the death riders Claudio Pock and Wheeler Udo be taken on rated FDR of Copa Cash Wheeler and Dax Hardwood Chris Jericho taken on Bandito in a title versus mass match for the R.O.H. World Championship. 308 00:53:41,500 --> 00:53:59,500 Dan Garcia taken on Adam Cole in a match for the AW TNT championship where there's no time limit no outside interference permitted and so many more other matches will you be tuning in to AW dynasty are you excited for the card have you been impressed with the build and AW program and as of late. 309 00:53:59,500 --> 00:54:17,500 I think it's been much more solid show the last few weeks the stuff I've been able to tune in a watch I luckily for me I have the max streaming service I can jump on and watch it you know at my convenience I don't know I gotta see I don't know if the paper view is on max. 310 00:54:17,500 --> 00:54:28,500 If it is I know it's not yet which is a bummer so I won't be catching it live because otherwise I have to finagle some chicader because god knows I don't want to spend 50%. 311 00:54:28,500 --> 00:54:49,500 Any wrestling show right now. But no the program is really good I mean the Jericho Bandito stuff's been good the Adam like Daniel Garcia Adam Cole's been good I'm still not a hundred percent soul on Mike Bailey Ricochet and Kenny Omega because like on paper dream match like athleticism personified. 312 00:54:49,500 --> 00:55:15,500 I like the tone anything Tony Stormer lead is going to be fantastic to me you know and then is we saw some teasing of splintering of rated FTR after the after the moxley Copeland match so does that actually splinter or does they do they stay together does that kind of NBA at some point the death writer thing either be to take it up a notch or die off. 313 00:55:15,500 --> 00:55:23,500 So where we at with that so that the program is been much better much more consistent and like I'm still intrigued by the MJF hurt. 314 00:55:23,500 --> 00:55:39,500 Heart business stuff like there's a lot of you know entertaining stuff which is what I've been wanting give me some story give me some reason to care about your characters other than just hey this guy can do a thousand and four moves by the way that was a Chris Jericho laid that out. 315 00:55:39,500 --> 00:56:05,500 Twenty five years ago this week and serene deep you know it is also claimed to fam over a thousand four moves 25 years ago thank you doctor try for making me feel old I really really really appreciate that I actually remember watching that life where they cut the commercial break and Jericho is reading off of the printed paper where you at the I'm the edges you used to have to peel it off with the holes you don't have to do that anymore folks. 316 00:56:05,500 --> 00:56:21,500 I'm not a lot of your yes arm you kept doing arm bar if anybody reads any of Jericho's books there I think that was in a lion's tail recover that whole segment and it was really well done I I loved Jericho's books when he writes them. 317 00:56:21,500 --> 00:56:50,500 I would that said let's get a couple plugs and sponsor the way you can download show every Thursday or Friday real guy radio dot com Russell chatnet on X and still with a show feed on Apple spotify wherever you download this podcast don't forget to rate review subscribe algorithm is king so help us keep climbing charts on all those podcasts platforms you can fall into visual on X for myself at S R T U Jeff and for doctor breaking the D dot tray and of course don't forget the fall show on X at S R T podcast with that being said what is going on the wonderful world of doctor. 318 00:56:50,500 --> 00:57:19,500 Franklin this week.
