- 1:35Speaker 6: Dog, really great job.
- 1:37Speaker 5: You're pretty You cut it yourself.
- 1:39Speaker 8: I cut it myself, died it myself.
- 1:41Speaker 6: You're pretty good socially, aren't you really electric?
- 1:44Speaker 5: You go to the barbershop. The barbershop you're going to.
- 1:48Speaker 8: I don't go to the barbershop.
- 1:52Speaker 6: Well, come in, Hey, how was that sor how was
- 1:54Speaker 6: your trip?
- 1:55Speaker 8: It was great?
- 1:56Speaker 2: Uh quick trip back home sister's twenty first birthday, so
- 2:00Speaker 2: we really partied it up at a long branch saloon, family.
- 2:06Speaker 8: Bar ride a passage to go have your twenty first
- 2:09Speaker 8: birthday there.
- 2:09Speaker 6: I didn't been going there since your need how to
- 2:11Speaker 6: do a grasshopper?
- 2:15Speaker 5: That's a good one of the office.
- 2:17Speaker 8: I've never heard that.
- 2:18Speaker 6: You han't heard that one.
- 2:19Speaker 8: No, come, I like it.
- 2:21Speaker 2: I'm at it to like Jake's sayings, okay, good. I'm
- 2:24Speaker 2: surprised Jake's never said that before.
- 2:26Speaker 6: That one comes from a bomb my dad.
- 2:28Speaker 5: I like that real, but I only heard it on
- 2:31Speaker 5: the office. I was talking about my dad.
- 2:33Speaker 6: Would say that.
- 2:36Speaker 8: Since you were buying ankles.
- 2:38Speaker 6: Since you've had like Dan Campbell.
- 2:40Speaker 2: Yeah, he bites s me caps so, but yeah, true,
- 2:43Speaker 2: he probably was biting ankles when baby.
- 2:45Speaker 6: Yeah, that's a good point.
- 2:47Speaker 3: So all right, so you went to the family bar,
- 2:51Speaker 3: welcome in someone that's now she had her first sip
- 2:54Speaker 3: of alcohol ever.
- 2:55Speaker 2: Well it wasn't her first ever, because but she will
- 3:01Speaker 2: she's arrested. Well because she's been in Mexico, and you
- 3:04Speaker 2: can drink when you're She's never drink here. She's never
- 3:07Speaker 2: drank here, but in Mexico's drinking America.
- 3:11Speaker 4: Well no, yeah, because she's king the lull h huh.
- 3:21Speaker 2: But yeah, so she had her first worry into like
- 3:24Speaker 2: partying though, and she had her older brother and sister
- 3:28Speaker 2: to show her the ropes.
- 3:30Speaker 6: That's fantastic.
- 3:30Speaker 5: How to go? How did the night go?
- 3:33Speaker 2: The night was really good. We had we all had
- 3:36Speaker 2: so much fun. Yeah, she did not feel great the
- 3:38Speaker 2: next morning.
- 3:39Speaker 6: Yeah, that's like, no stomach bug.
- 3:42Speaker 5: Like that's not fair, Like white people are pretty bad
- 3:44Speaker 5: about that about what Like, it's not like I feel
- 3:47Speaker 5: like every twenty first birthday I had I was at
- 3:50Speaker 5: in college, it was never like, hey, let's go out
- 3:51Speaker 5: and have a great time and celebrate our friend. It's like, hey,
- 3:54Speaker 5: put that tequila in the microwave. That's like, really, let's
- 3:57Speaker 5: get him the throw up before.
- 3:58Speaker 6: We go out, like a three wise men.
- 4:00Speaker 5: Geez Aaron, Yeah, that stuffy bear fight. Ever had a
- 4:04Speaker 5: bear fight? No, I don't even know what my buddy rich.
- 4:08Speaker 5: If he does this next week at the bachelor party,
- 4:10Speaker 5: I'm gonna lose it. But he's like we went somewhere.
- 4:12Speaker 5: He's he's a marine.
- 4:13Speaker 8: Bachelor party, I'm crashing.
- 4:14Speaker 5: Yeah, he's a marine, so he's like indestructible. And so
- 4:18Speaker 5: I remember he would he would show up all these
- 4:19Speaker 5: trips and it's like sometimes he'd like just gotten back
- 4:22Speaker 5: from deployment and he's like a legit war here. Yeah,
- 4:25Speaker 5: the Battle of Margin was on HBO, like they he
- 4:27Speaker 5: was in that, like like all these men, and so
- 4:30Speaker 5: he would come back and you can't say no because
- 4:32Speaker 5: it's he just got back from War'd be like, all right,
- 4:35Speaker 5: let's start the night, and he'd be like Jaeger and
- 4:36Speaker 5: Rumplements back to back. No. No, So then he gave
- 4:40Speaker 5: us these bear fights one time, and I don't I
- 4:42Speaker 5: just remember there being some cream involved, like like liquid
- 4:45Speaker 5: like from a carton, and so he he would break crack.
- 4:50Speaker 5: Not the time for that, and so he he would
- 4:52Speaker 5: I hand it to us and he's like, yeah, it's
- 4:54Speaker 5: like the two bears are fighting in your stomach. And
- 4:56Speaker 5: I was like that did you make that up.
- 5:00Speaker 6: Right here, right down in this moment, right this second?
- 5:03Speaker 5: Yeah, hagger and cream?
- 5:04Speaker 8: So is it an Irish carbomb? And then a Yeager
- 5:07Speaker 8: bomb right after that?
- 5:08Speaker 5: Sounds maybe right?
- 5:09Speaker 6: I just looked it up.
- 5:10Speaker 5: Okay, I don't remember the Irish carbomb part. I feel
- 5:12Speaker 5: like he did like a makeshift one and it was
- 5:14Speaker 5: worse than that, because those are delicious.
- 5:16Speaker 2: So he probably tried to do an Irish carbo but
- 5:18Speaker 2: wasn't really one. Yeah, because an Irish car bomb has cream.
- 5:22Speaker 5: Right as Bailey's and like guinnis and then you just
- 5:28Speaker 5: drop into a guiness. Yeah, those are delicious.
- 5:30Speaker 6: He might have caught it an Iraq carbomb.
- 5:34Speaker 2: Boom.
- 5:39Speaker 6: The boom was perfect.
- 5:43Speaker 2: That shows breakdown five carbombs.
- 5:49Speaker 5: What's up guys in my top five car bombs in
- 5:51Speaker 5: twenty twenty six?
- 5:55Speaker 6: Oh it is hot? Is it actually is smoking? We
- 5:59Speaker 6: need to leave? Or well he probably turned the act.
- 6:03Speaker 8: It's probably broken.
- 6:07Speaker 5: Doing here on this building?
- 6:11Speaker 6: Oh man, Well Taylor, how are we doing?
- 6:14Speaker 7: Uh?
- 6:14Speaker 6: We're doing well, doing great.
- 6:15Speaker 3: How's how's the the dadding, how's it going? I think
- 6:19Speaker 3: we're probably getting better every day at this point, right, Yeah.
- 6:22Speaker 4: So he's doing well at night, like pretty much the
- 6:27Speaker 4: only time he wakes up is like when mere Victoria
- 6:30Speaker 4: has to wake him up, Like he's got to eat
- 6:32Speaker 4: every three four hours, so like that's the only time
- 6:35Speaker 4: he's ever waken up. Three to eight a little bit rough.
- 6:38Speaker 4: But once eight thirty hits, my guy, it's good to go.
- 6:40Speaker 4: So we're we're talking and rolling.
- 6:42Speaker 6: Do we go? Yeah?
- 6:43Speaker 3: He told me yesterday he's got he's got like a
- 6:45Speaker 3: three or four window, three or four hour window.
- 6:47Speaker 4: Yeah, it's it's a little seven six thirties, like peak
- 6:51Speaker 4: minace hour yep. I mean he's just not happy about anything.
- 6:55Speaker 6: Becomes the final boss, right.
- 6:57Speaker 4: But after that he'll calm it down a little bit.
- 7:00Speaker 4: But yeah, it's it's going man. I mean we're three
- 7:03Speaker 4: weeks yesterday, so he's.
- 7:04Speaker 6: Three weeks old.
- 7:05Speaker 3: How are your skills evolving as far as holding the baby,
- 7:09Speaker 3: as far as feeding, as far as changing.
- 7:12Speaker 6: So I can't feed him right now, but holding and
- 7:16Speaker 6: changing you don't have the proper plumbing, that's.
- 7:19Speaker 4: Right, we got that. So I'll tell you this I didn't.
- 7:23Speaker 4: I didn't want to tell you this, but but I will. Monday,
- 7:27Speaker 4: I was holding him, you know, he's tired and he's irritable,
- 7:30Speaker 4: and I'm like, Victoria, you like eat dinner, I'll hold him.
- 7:33Speaker 4: And I'm holding him and he starts going like against
- 7:35Speaker 4: my chest and I'm like, whoa buddy, like, I can't,
- 7:38Speaker 4: I can't. I wish I could, Bud, I can't feed
- 7:41Speaker 4: you like we're a little out of shape. But don't
- 7:44Speaker 4: go crazy there, buddy. Let's let's let's not let's not
- 7:46Speaker 4: do that. I can't feed you there. But uh now
- 7:49Speaker 4: he's doing well.
- 7:50Speaker 6: That's great, that's great. Well, happy for you. We got
- 7:53Speaker 6: a Matt big news.
- 7:55Speaker 4: Okay, we got a favorite diaper brand, Woo. We've discovered it.
- 8:00Speaker 4: We've went through four different types. We got a favorite.
- 8:02Speaker 6: That's a big deal. Washable. We're washable divers.
- 8:07Speaker 4: No, we're we're We're a Pampers household.
- 8:10Speaker 5: Now what were you before?
- 8:13Speaker 6: Well, Huggies.
- 8:14Speaker 4: It's a brand somebody got us the I mean, we
- 8:19Speaker 4: we tried like that.
- 8:21Speaker 6: There's another one that kind of looks like Pampers. What
- 8:24Speaker 6: Pampers is the best Yep, it's the most expensive, but honestly,
- 8:28Speaker 6: I see why.
- 8:29Speaker 3: Yeah, So like full disclosure, Pampers is not paying ot
- 8:33Speaker 3: B anything.
- 8:35Speaker 6: We don't have we don't have a div we don't
- 8:37Speaker 6: have a deal.
- 8:38Speaker 3: We got nothing to gain from this. But that's the
- 8:40Speaker 3: only decision, it's it's the only answer. Huggies ain't where that,
- 8:46Speaker 3: ain't it.
- 8:46Speaker 4: So somebody bought us a giant members mark diapers because
- 8:51Speaker 4: you can get them at Sam's for like a two
- 8:52Speaker 4: hundred count.
- 8:53Speaker 6: Those and Huggies, honestly they're almost identical. Yeah.
- 8:57Speaker 4: I was having to like look at the back of
- 8:59Speaker 4: them to tell the difference because they got the brand
- 9:01Speaker 4: on them.
- 9:01Speaker 6: Well.
- 9:01Speaker 3: Costco brands are usually like a very popular brand in
- 9:05Speaker 3: the exact same thing, just with a different names.
- 9:07Speaker 5: It's it's like great different than your very I'm.
- 9:10Speaker 3: A big fan of the Canadian whiskey that you have there,
- 9:12Speaker 3: and it is it's Crown. They just run it on
- 9:15Speaker 3: the same line. It's just a different bottle Differently, this
- 9:18Speaker 3: might be they it.
- 9:20Speaker 4: Was very similar to Huggies, like design and everything we
- 9:22Speaker 4: put on that Pamps.
- 9:23Speaker 6: I was like, I feel I feel nicer.
- 9:28Speaker 3: So if you don't want to be a Pamper's household,
- 9:31Speaker 3: don't ever try them, right, Yeah, you don't even want
- 9:34Speaker 3: the experience. It's kind of like if you're you're car shopping.
- 9:37Speaker 6: What it was.
- 9:38Speaker 4: It was the last one we tried to, Like we
- 9:40Speaker 4: musted open the hoggies first. I think I just grabbed
- 9:42Speaker 4: him because they were first in the closet. I was like,
- 9:45Speaker 4: what are these pampers ones? They're weird, They're a little
- 9:47Speaker 4: bit thinner. He snapped up that boy on and we're like,
- 9:50Speaker 4: you know what, I.
- 9:51Speaker 6: Don't want that one handed. This is the new I'm not.
- 9:54Speaker 6: I'm not. I can't do it one handed.
- 9:56Speaker 4: Yet you'll get there, will He brings his knees up
- 9:59Speaker 4: to like here all the time, so you gotta wait
- 10:02Speaker 4: for him to stretch his leg out. And then well
- 10:05Speaker 4: the other day I was manually bringing his leg down
- 10:09Speaker 4: to tape up the diaper.
- 10:10Speaker 6: You would have thought, like I spit on him.
- 10:13Speaker 4: Victoria's like, Taylor, you cannot manually bring his leg down,
- 10:16Speaker 4: you got I'm like, yes, I can, Like the human
- 10:18Speaker 4: leg bends that way naturally, like it's not hurting.
- 10:22Speaker 6: She's like, you gotta let him do it on his own.
- 10:24Speaker 4: So I'm like, okay, that's that's something we're we're figuring out,
- 10:28Speaker 4: but we're making it happen.
- 10:30Speaker 3: When when Huck was born and this is someone went,
- 10:35Speaker 3: someone gave us a baby gift and it was it
- 10:37Speaker 3: was a little football, but it was a cover for
- 10:42Speaker 3: like when you change a little boys diaper and their
- 10:46Speaker 3: baby football.
- 10:50Speaker 6: So do you have a do you have a thing
- 10:51Speaker 6: the cover? We don't believe we have a ton of Yeah.
- 10:56Speaker 3: I didn't know what it was. I didn't really know
- 10:58Speaker 3: what it was until like that. So like he was
- 11:01Speaker 3: one or two days old and it.
- 11:02Speaker 4: Was So it's happened twice. Uh, once I got on Victoria. Yeah,
- 11:08Speaker 4: over the weekend. Dude just peede straight up right on
- 11:10Speaker 4: his head. Had to wipe them off, like I mean,
- 11:12Speaker 4: just playing.
- 11:13Speaker 5: I mean twenty first birthday sounds like straight up he
- 11:18Speaker 5: had verif. Huh.
- 11:19Speaker 4: That seemed like a party trick to me. And uh,
- 11:23Speaker 4: but no, we have a ton of like burp cloths. Yep,
- 11:26Speaker 4: so we've devoted one of those to like a loin cloth.
- 11:30Speaker 6: Okay, smart at get a little football on top. I
- 11:35Speaker 6: like that like a hat.
- 11:37Speaker 7: Peepee cover, but I just peepee is such a funny.
- 11:44Speaker 7: Peep mother, how you doing?
- 11:48Speaker 6: Oh?
- 11:49Speaker 5: Pemper's pissed.
- 11:51Speaker 6: On her head.
- 11:52Speaker 5: She's been she's been paying a bunch uh. So you
- 11:57Speaker 5: know what pisses me off. There's people in our neighborhood.
- 12:00Speaker 8: So like yell.
- 12:06Speaker 5: They So there's just a bunch of dogs and they're
- 12:08Speaker 5: all really great dogs, but they are off leash and
- 12:12Speaker 5: so like they will walk by and then Pepper is
- 12:15Speaker 5: like defending her little yard. And it's not like one person.
- 12:18Speaker 5: It's not like anything bad. It's also they're just it's dogs,
- 12:21Speaker 5: like it's I think it's it's it makes me happy
- 12:23Speaker 5: when I put in the neighborhood and I see all
- 12:25Speaker 5: the different like dogs, right, okay, but there's this little
- 12:30Speaker 5: hole in the bottom of the entrance to our fence.
- 12:34Speaker 5: And Pepper's a small dog so she can like fit
- 12:37Speaker 5: and like yesterday we're walking this like big dog is
- 12:39Speaker 5: going by, and so Pepper starts barking, like defending her
- 12:42Speaker 5: territory in her yard, and it gets like right up
- 12:44Speaker 5: in her face. And I was like, now, listen, I
- 12:46Speaker 5: I love dogs. I'll fight a dog if you don't
- 12:49Speaker 5: do not nip Pepper. Don't you dare get in your
- 12:51Speaker 5: pepper right, And as we're like going up there, this
- 12:54Speaker 5: guy and I don't know who wants. But he was
- 12:55Speaker 5: like he's like, dang dog like about Pepper and was like,
- 13:00Speaker 5: you're got like an eighty pound Iranian mastiff Iraqi and
- 13:07Speaker 5: mastiff what do they call? And it's like a little corgan.
- 13:11Speaker 5: He's like, god, loud, so loud every day and I'm like,
- 13:14Speaker 5: your dog is off the leash. Brother, that's all the
- 13:17Speaker 5: that's the only problem in my life right now.
- 13:20Speaker 6: Loud.
- 13:21Speaker 5: Yeah. But also like, I mean that was lost you.
- 13:25Speaker 5: You know, it could have been anything. But I personally,
- 13:27Speaker 5: no matter what it's like, should know that.
- 13:30Speaker 6: You're not that sensitive. So it's a lot.
- 13:32Speaker 5: I let stuff roll off my huge back all the time,
- 13:35Speaker 5: the big back, the big back all the time. Other
- 13:41Speaker 5: than that, everything's great, Okay, great, Yeah, how about you?
- 13:44Speaker 5: What's going on?
- 13:46Speaker 6: Well, No, this is a.
- 13:49Speaker 3: Today's Wednesday. Thank you. The short shorts on it. They
- 13:51Speaker 3: thank god because it's so hot.
- 13:53Speaker 5: It is very hot.
- 13:54Speaker 3: August the twelfth, Wednesday. It's a big day. It's a
- 13:57Speaker 3: big day for me huge. I told you about it.
- 14:00Speaker 6: I know I won't show it. Shut up about it.
- 14:02Speaker 6: Before the show.
- 14:04Speaker 8: You didn't talk that much about it.
- 14:07Speaker 3: I just mentioned it real quick for five seconds. New
- 14:10Speaker 3: Star Wars card drops today, Star Wars Galaxy twenty six.
- 14:19Speaker 6: Yeah, obviously a box, Taylor, what a dumb question? A
- 14:26Speaker 6: dumb question, A dumb question.
- 14:29Speaker 5: It ain't. You ain't contributing much this morning, brother, better
- 14:34Speaker 5: stick to diapers.
- 14:35Speaker 6: Shut up and very excited.
- 14:37Speaker 3: We've you know, we've been on this card train for
- 14:40Speaker 3: a while and then football started getting like so expensive.
- 14:43Speaker 3: Yea Houck and I were like looking at different things
- 14:46Speaker 3: we can like do with it's a little bit smaller
- 14:49Speaker 3: barrier of entry and we got into that.
- 14:52Speaker 6: So he got into.
- 14:53Speaker 3: It a couple of years because I made him wait
- 14:54Speaker 3: till he was eight to watch Star Wars now about
- 14:57Speaker 3: to be eleven, and so we like that. We like
- 15:01Speaker 3: watching it as a family, a good family fund event
- 15:03Speaker 3: to do. So we started doing the cards and we
- 15:05Speaker 3: really liked, like, there's like a handful of different brands
- 15:08Speaker 3: and like releases that Star Wars cards has, and this
- 15:11Speaker 3: is the one that we have. This is the one
- 15:13Speaker 3: we've honed in on personally collected. So they released one
- 15:17Speaker 3: a year, so it releases today. We're hoping to go
- 15:20Speaker 3: find where.
- 15:22Speaker 5: Are you going to go?
- 15:24Speaker 6: Oh boy, well everywhere?
- 15:26Speaker 8: I thought you do it online?
- 15:28Speaker 3: Well, so you can do you can do you can
- 15:31Speaker 3: online as there are awesome people as people like Cards
- 15:36Speaker 3: Culture very they're they're awesome as well.
- 15:38Speaker 6: So like we're gonna go.
- 15:39Speaker 5: Slip around Dix. They have like a whole section.
- 15:43Speaker 6: So dis does have a big section.
- 15:46Speaker 3: Yeah, there's a difference, like if you get it at
- 15:47Speaker 3: like a card store, they have like a hobby shop,
- 15:50Speaker 3: like a specific hobby store, like a like a card shop,
- 15:52Speaker 3: like a Cards of Culture.
- 15:54Speaker 6: It's like they have.
- 15:57Speaker 3: Like hobby specific boxes that aren't available like big retail shops.
- 16:01Speaker 4: If you heard as they do a Pokemon cards.
- 16:06Speaker 3: They are awesome, awesome people and usually like everybody we
- 16:08Speaker 3: met in the hobby world has been really really good people.
- 16:11Speaker 3: They just enjoy cards and enjoy trading and selling. It
- 16:18Speaker 3: really is. It's fun. Everybody gets excited about it. It's
- 16:20Speaker 3: fun to rip open packs and stuff like that. So
- 16:24Speaker 3: and it's kind of nerdy but awesome. But it's awesome
- 16:26Speaker 3: nerdy because like everybody's like there's a lot of people
- 16:30Speaker 3: doing it. It is really popular now, so can you
- 16:33Speaker 3: say it's nerdy anymore?
- 16:34Speaker 6: I don't know, does anybody else band you you blocked?
- 16:38Speaker 3: I'm blocked by three people on eBay three sellers are.
- 16:43Speaker 6: But thanks for listening to the show.
- 16:45Speaker 3: By the way, I've been so I'm collecting the service
- 16:50Speaker 3: each year, and you know there's a lot of cards about.
- 16:52Speaker 3: So like, I'm low balling people on eBay as much
- 16:55Speaker 3: as i can. Well, you know, you make offers of
- 16:58Speaker 3: people on eBay.
- 16:59Speaker 4: They said, bit against yourself. That makes sense.
- 17:02Speaker 3: They have it for sale for let's just say fifty dollars,
- 17:04Speaker 3: Well you can. You can offer them twenty five dollars
- 17:08Speaker 3: if you want.
- 17:08Speaker 5: Yeah, I know, but.
- 17:09Speaker 3: They said, but they set the they set the minimum
- 17:12Speaker 3: amount you can offer. Yeah, but if they didn't want
- 17:14Speaker 3: an offer of twenty five, they just set it. Yeah,
- 17:16Speaker 3: And so you do that enough times, people get sensitive.
- 17:19Speaker 6: They just block you.
- 17:20Speaker 5: What if you find out it's me that blocked you, well.
- 17:23Speaker 6: You'd be that would track Chris Sell and Star Wars
- 17:27Speaker 6: cards makes sense.
- 17:28Speaker 5: I've never seen Star Wars Taylor Oh for two that's
- 17:32Speaker 5: so yeah, that's thrown out numbers that it's over like eleven.
- 17:37Speaker 5: They've had a bazillion of those no, Oh for Life, like.
- 17:41Speaker 2: A bazillion movies. And then they have a lot of
- 17:43Speaker 2: little breakoffs too.
- 17:45Speaker 5: No, I know, I know how any series.
- 17:48Speaker 8: Stuff you should probably, I'm agreeing with you. There's like
- 17:51Speaker 8: a Star Wars, you know, like I remember when I
- 17:54Speaker 8: was a yeah.
- 17:57Speaker 6: One, Chris, all right, we got a huge show. Okay,
- 18:00Speaker 6: I know that was. I don't know what that sevement was.
- 18:02Speaker 6: It was awesome though, good for us, it was fun.
- 18:05Speaker 3: But we got LSU practice, we got Saints practice, we
- 18:07Speaker 3: got doctor Steven Ethers joined the show. Later, we got
- 18:10Speaker 3: potentially Jacob Hester joining us for a phone call. We
- 18:12Speaker 3: are going to play his interview with Aaron Rodgers a
- 18:14Speaker 3: little bit later in the show that it was at
- 18:16Speaker 3: really great stuff that they came out of that interview.
- 18:20Speaker 3: We got a crazy golf cheating story that it's unbelievable,
- 18:25Speaker 3: it's incredible stuff. And there's conspiracy afoot at LSU practice.
- 18:29Speaker 3: I'm going to get at LSU practice when we get
- 18:31Speaker 3: back right here on off the bench.
- 18:33Speaker 6: Off the bench, all right, Go to get Gordon dot Com.

- 19:01Speaker 3: and they will go fight for you and get exactly
- 19:03Speaker 3: what you deserve. We've seen all the work that Gordon
- 19:05Speaker 3: McKernan does in the community, We've seen.
- 19:09Speaker 6: All the work that he does in in il space.
- 19:10Speaker 3: But his whole team, they're doing work every single day
- 19:13Speaker 3: in the courtroom. So wherever you are in Louisiana, it
- 19:15Speaker 3: doesn't matter north, south, east, west, the northern southern version, Yeah,
- 19:20Speaker 3: the park. Yeah, like you can call him. It's just

- 19:53Speaker 6: of that.

- 19:59Speaker 1: Tigers turned talkers? This is off the bench.
- 20:22Speaker 3: Hi, welcome back here off the bench Wednesday morning. I
- 20:25Speaker 3: had to wait for the drop there obviously. Welcome man,

- 21:52Speaker 3: All right, Media yesterday got their typical eight to ten minute.
- 22:00Speaker 3: That's I'm assuming allotted time that they could go watch practice.
- 22:04Speaker 6: Did you go? You go? Twelve?
- 22:06Speaker 5: And that's what it's been. I thought it's it's supposed
- 22:09Speaker 5: to be eighteen.
- 22:10Speaker 6: No, it's not. No one said eighteen. Who said eighteen?
- 22:13Speaker 5: The email said three. We get sessions two through four,
- 22:18Speaker 5: or like segments of practice too through four, but we've
- 22:20Speaker 5: been getting three and four. New music yesterday, okay, new playlist?
- 22:24Speaker 6: Yeah all right?
- 22:25Speaker 5: I mean like they start with the same song every day.
- 22:27Speaker 2: What is the same the start? The first song is
- 22:31Speaker 2: the same one every day?
- 22:32Speaker 8: What is it?
- 22:33Speaker 5: Dreams of nightmares?
- 22:34Speaker 8: Okay? I I like that, though hunt does not set
- 22:37Speaker 8: the tone.
- 22:38Speaker 6: Oh surprising, someone sing it.
- 22:41Speaker 5: It's very mille mill. He did his boyfriend. That's a
- 22:46Speaker 5: deep cut.
- 22:47Speaker 6: Okay, somebody sing it?
- 22:50Speaker 5: Oh, you hold up.
- 22:51Speaker 8: Wait a minute, y'all thought I was finished when I
- 22:54Speaker 8: bought that. Still morning, y'all thought it was.
- 22:56Speaker 5: Ritten you ever, Okay, here's here's what you probably recognize
- 23:01Speaker 5: it from. Remember the twenty eighteen when the old ass
- 23:03Speaker 5: Patriots came out in Super Bowl and Tom Brady was like,
- 23:06Speaker 5: let's put up crazy trade from Ozzy Osboard and they
- 23:08Speaker 5: came out of the tunnel and everyone's like yeah, and
- 23:11Speaker 5: then you sounded like you were holding your nose when
- 23:13Speaker 5: you yeah that I was in I was about to
- 23:14Speaker 5: get in the water. Yeah, you know it kissed my
- 23:17Speaker 5: son in the mouth and jump in the water. I'm
- 23:19Speaker 5: Tom Brady. I love almonds. So then the Eagles came
- 23:24Speaker 5: out and they didn't come out to Ozzy Osbourn and
- 23:27Speaker 5: they came out to meet mill Dreams of Nightmares and
- 23:29Speaker 5: it was awesome. Yeah, okay, awesome.
- 23:32Speaker 6: Well we have to check that out. I don't I
- 23:33Speaker 6: don't know it. Yeah, I don't know.
- 23:34Speaker 5: Came like that theme song of like the playoff of
- 23:36Speaker 5: the Playoffs.
- 23:37Speaker 3: Oh yeah, okay, Well we're gonna play it at some point.
- 23:40Speaker 3: I'm gonna be like, oh yeah, I've heard it. Better
- 23:41Speaker 3: edit it, better edit it. Well, depensive this commercial breaker
- 23:46Speaker 3: not okay, Well, the pads came on yesterday. I was
- 23:50Speaker 3: the first first practice and full pads, so always excited.
- 23:53Speaker 3: I know the media didn't get a get to stick
- 23:55Speaker 3: around to you know, hear any pads hitting yesterday, but
- 23:59Speaker 3: y'all got to see them with pads on. And of
- 24:02Speaker 3: course not a not a whole lot to note. I'll
- 24:05Speaker 3: I can go and you can go to losing a
- 24:07Speaker 3: sports on net. Hunt has a Hunt has an article
- 24:10Speaker 3: about it about his time he kind of stayed on
- 24:12Speaker 3: the offensive side of the ball. Just a couple of
- 24:14Speaker 3: notes that that Hunt pointed out. Trade is green is
- 24:18Speaker 3: in wearing gold. I think he's been in gold.
- 24:21Speaker 6: Is that correct? Which is basically.
- 24:23Speaker 3: Saying, hey, don't hit our to him, don't don't touch
- 24:26Speaker 3: one of our best players and probably probably potentially outside
- 24:29Speaker 3: of quarterback, the most you know, dynamic and offensive playmaker
- 24:33Speaker 3: in the country.
- 24:33Speaker 6: Don't touch him.
- 24:34Speaker 3: He's kind of like in the NFL when it's like
- 24:36Speaker 3: you can hit a receiver, like, don't hit like the
- 24:39Speaker 3: starting the number one receiver.
- 24:41Speaker 6: I saw more than one people in the.
- 24:44Speaker 3: NFL get cut because they accidentally hit a receiver, and
- 24:47Speaker 3: you know they were like undrafted free agent or guys
- 24:51Speaker 3: like in practice squad, like got cut at practice, right.
- 24:55Speaker 6: Go ahead and get your pad. You can just go
- 24:56Speaker 6: ahead and go at practice. Yeah.
- 24:57Speaker 5: See Derek Hall get lit up about that. Show a
- 25:00Speaker 5: similar thing.
- 25:01Speaker 6: Okay, wait, who Derek.
- 25:03Speaker 5: Called the guy from the Seahawks. He was like getting
- 25:05Speaker 5: too close to the quarterback and the coach was like,
- 25:07Speaker 5: stop getting close to the quarterback. And he's like, what
- 25:10Speaker 5: do you want to do? Coach to pass?
- 25:11Speaker 6: He's like, just go on, I'm trying to make the
- 25:13Speaker 6: team too, man.
- 25:15Speaker 5: Yeah, you're right, gold jersey.
- 25:17Speaker 3: Uh then so he was in the gold jersey. So
- 25:19Speaker 3: don't hit trade. Does that's the moral of the story there. Uh,
- 25:21Speaker 3: it's seemingly completely healthy. It's offensive line unit, first team
- 25:28Speaker 3: that took the field on the drills together, Jordan Seaton,
- 25:32Speaker 3: Boat borderl On Braylan Moore, Weston Davis. And I'm not
- 25:38Speaker 3: even gonna try to pronounce the name you got this, No,
- 25:40Speaker 3: I don't alba my three syllables. Yeah, but it was
- 25:47Speaker 3: how you pronounce him is the problem.
- 25:49Speaker 5: Yeah, that's fair.
- 25:52Speaker 3: Yeah, I was about to say that, but I hesitated
- 25:55Speaker 3: would person and I had better chemistry. He would have
- 25:58Speaker 3: filled it in when I paused, just said it I
- 26:02Speaker 3: wanted and instead of sitting there and just let it
- 26:05Speaker 3: play itself out.
- 26:06Speaker 5: I know you got this, do it at.
- 26:10Speaker 2: Me.
- 26:12Speaker 3: But the biggest thing that I noted was Taylor and
- 26:15Speaker 3: I talked about this yesterday, like this is starting to
- 26:17Speaker 3: get some legs with us, and it probably should with you.
- 26:20Speaker 6: There's a big time conspiracy happening with.
- 26:28Speaker 3: Oh we talked yesterday, Oh, Sam Levitt Jace Brown seemingly
- 26:36Speaker 3: hate each other. Some people are talking they have zero.
- 26:45Speaker 8: I haven't been here, so you might be able to
- 26:47Speaker 8: convince me.
- 26:48Speaker 3: So they have not the great players. Okay, so at
- 26:54Speaker 3: first we were looking at it. Ah, this is funny,
- 26:57Speaker 3: but it seemingly they don't like each other.
- 26:59Speaker 6: What. Okay, So the media can only go to practice
- 27:03Speaker 6: for twelve minutes? Twelve minutes sometimes ten?
- 27:06Speaker 3: Yeah there, okay, most people can walk faster, say's ten okay,
- 27:15Speaker 3: So you know what.
- 27:15Speaker 5: In hindsight, it probably is about nine minutes for me.
- 27:18Speaker 5: That is fair. Takes any minute to get over there.
- 27:21Speaker 6: That's right. So we all we get is a report
- 27:25Speaker 6: we get. Okay, we're going to watch routes on air.
- 27:27Speaker 3: And it first started with patent Go now it's pat
- 27:29Speaker 3: and go plus a couple of routes here and there. Okay,
- 27:32Speaker 3: so anybody, we're there's a college athletes. They're getting paid
- 27:34Speaker 3: millions of dollars. They should be able to complete some
- 27:37Speaker 3: passes against nobody, right, yeah, with some unless there's bad
- 27:44Speaker 3: relationship status between quarterback receiver.
- 27:47Speaker 5: It's complicated.
- 27:48Speaker 3: The only person that's Sam Levitt's thone incomplete passes too,
- 27:53Speaker 3: it's Jase Brown.
- 27:55Speaker 4: Saturday was two of them. It's something I noticed. So
- 27:58Speaker 4: Saturday three incomplete, two to Jason Brown. Monday's practice too incompletions,
- 28:04Speaker 4: one of them to Jason Brown this morning. He's almost
- 28:09Speaker 4: perfect except for one pass, an overthrow to wide receiver
- 28:13Speaker 4: jas Brown.
- 28:14Speaker 3: Wow, wow, Wow, this is unbelievable. That is who stole
- 28:23Speaker 3: whose girl?
- 28:24Speaker 1: Know this?
- 28:26Speaker 5: We're gonna get a phone call today. It's going to
- 28:27Speaker 5: come back on me somehow. It's like report.
- 28:33Speaker 3: Receiver and I know that they're working with each other
- 28:38Speaker 3: a lot. There's more opportunity, but my god, that's foreign completions.
- 28:43Speaker 6: Let we we should be more. People overreacted to this story.
- 28:49Speaker 5: I cannot why because.
- 28:55Speaker 6: Put the post up on social media. Sam Lovitt and
- 28:58Speaker 6: Jays Brown hate each other.
- 29:00Speaker 5: Have you guys heard the graphics beef question? Mark?
- 29:06Speaker 8: Wow, these two guys were a seller situation.
- 29:10Speaker 5: They're not hooking up. I mean that, like, for instance,
- 29:16Speaker 5: the other day, for I'm already like on Thinnie with
- 29:19Speaker 5: my insinc suthing graphics. I'm not doing that. But like
- 29:22Speaker 5: the other day when I was like, oh man, what
- 29:23Speaker 5: a funny quote from Sam. Love it. And then I
- 29:26Speaker 5: don't know why I gave myself that voice that stuck,
- 29:29Speaker 5: gave myself to Tom Brady voice. But like we posted,
- 29:32Speaker 5: I called Taylor afterwards and I was like, dude, what's
- 29:35Speaker 5: going on with these reactions? Because everyone was like, wow,
- 29:37Speaker 5: he hates Louisiana. Don't let people from Louisiana see this.
- 29:40Speaker 5: I'm like, well, we have internet down here for sure.
- 29:43Speaker 5: It's primarily our our biggest demographic for our social media.
- 29:46Speaker 5: They've seen it.
- 29:47Speaker 6: It's actually posted yeah in net.
- 29:51Speaker 5: But yeah, So, I mean, I don't think there's any beef.
- 29:55Speaker 5: I think till we get involved starts a it is.
- 30:00Speaker 3: We start the there that's to be really The first
- 30:02Speaker 3: question asked Sam Chris.
- 30:03Speaker 5: Marler lockt on Game Talks. Uh, you and Jays hate
- 30:06Speaker 5: each other? What's going on there?
- 30:08Speaker 3: What's going on? Y'all seem to have zero chemistry about this.
- 30:12Speaker 5: Ian met Flinn not noted for our chemistry still significantly
- 30:16Speaker 5: more than you do. What's going on there? Well, we're
- 30:20Speaker 5: gonna I'm gonna start doing that at the end of
- 30:21Speaker 5: whatever question I asked. It's just what's going on there? Yeah?
- 30:27Speaker 5: What are we doing? What's going on?
- 30:33Speaker 6: Well?
- 30:33Speaker 3: Anyway, that's That's about the most weekend pull out of
- 30:37Speaker 3: the time spent at LSU practice.
- 30:41Speaker 6: It is.
- 30:41Speaker 3: It's something to watch, something to keep an eye on.
- 30:45Speaker 3: They can't they can't complete a pass with each other.
- 30:48Speaker 5: They did against I feel like there was some some
- 30:51Speaker 5: different stuff yesterday. They did some different drills finally, which
- 30:54Speaker 5: is nice, like that the edge rushers Jaden breakers still
- 30:57Speaker 5: over there with the edge rushers and outside linebackers. I
- 31:00Speaker 5: don't know if there's like a set, like just the
- 31:02Speaker 5: way they go through those drills. It doesn't mean that
- 31:03Speaker 5: those are the starters at this point, because we've seen
- 31:06Speaker 5: them go out there with like a you know, the
- 31:08Speaker 5: front seven and do drills. Yeah, and it's different than
- 31:11Speaker 5: the lines they have going through the actual defensive lineman drills.
- 31:15Speaker 3: But like when you line up in line for drills.
- 31:18Speaker 3: That's not always like right start, like if you are
- 31:21Speaker 3: going with somebody else like receiver, quarterback, that's an indication,
- 31:25Speaker 3: But like a defensive line, offensive line, running back drills,
- 31:27Speaker 3: it doesn't really matter who's going first unless you're working
- 31:31Speaker 3: with like trying to get timing with somebody else, then
- 31:33Speaker 3: of course you're gonna work with the guys that you're
- 31:35Speaker 3: probably gonna be in with, like in team periods in
- 31:37Speaker 3: seven on seven. So it's hard to make out that
- 31:41Speaker 3: I feel for y'all trying to make out that.
- 31:44Speaker 5: You just want you just want something like you just
- 31:47Speaker 5: I know, I want to go in there and listen.
- 31:48Speaker 5: This is what pisses me off is you were right?
- 31:51Speaker 5: Is it not like like we we came in here
- 31:52Speaker 5: and I was like, yeah, I'm really excited. First day,
- 31:54Speaker 5: I have a backpack, like, here's here's my plan, here's
- 31:56Speaker 5: what I'm gonna go get. I have like four things,
- 31:59Speaker 5: and you just go, yeah, so you're not gonna get
- 32:00Speaker 5: any of that. You might want to do a backup
- 32:02Speaker 5: plan on that. And I was like whatever, Matt, And
- 32:04Speaker 5: then we got out there and it was yeah, none
- 32:06Speaker 5: of that happened.
- 32:06Speaker 3: But yeah, all those things that you think you're gonna
- 32:08Speaker 3: guess's not gonna happen, but credited for trying, Thanks dud.
- 32:12Speaker 3: But look what we have gotten is the conspiracy. Yeah,
- 32:15Speaker 3: that same levent In Jas Brown hate each other, and
- 32:18Speaker 3: that is potentially confirmed. We'll see how it plays out.
- 32:24Speaker 3: So we'll get into that dock when he gets here. Well,
- 32:26Speaker 3: last doc, and when we come back from break. Right now,
- 32:29Speaker 3: we're gonna talk a little Saints Cam Jordan nursing a hammy,
- 32:33Speaker 3: those pesky hamstrings. I'm telling you, all right, we're gonna
- 32:36Speaker 3: get into Saints camp when we come back right here,
- 32:37Speaker 3: and off the bench, Off the bench, all right. Go
- 32:41Speaker 3: to Pelican roof dot com. Pelican roof dot com the
- 32:44Speaker 3: number one source, your number one company, your number one
- 32:47Speaker 3: team when it comes to roof in here in Louisiana.
- 32:50Speaker 3: And they are the experts. They've been doing it a
- 32:52Speaker 3: long time. And if you go to their website you
- 32:54Speaker 3: can see exactly what we're talking about because they have

- 33:49Speaker 1: This is Off the Bench with Hester and Flynn Baton,
- 33:53Speaker 1: Rouge's go to for all things Louisiana Sports. No Less, now.
- 34:08Speaker 3: Down, all right, welcome back here, back off the bench
- 34:12Speaker 3: Wednesday morning, laughing the Raisin Canes Studio. Wandra, No, you're
- 34:21Speaker 3: out for a couple of days, but you're totally making
- 34:23Speaker 3: up for it with the music so far today let's go.
- 34:26Speaker 8: I didn't feel like doing R and B. I really
- 34:27Speaker 8: only do R.
- 34:28Speaker 6: And B for Jakes. Yeah, he loves it.
- 34:30Speaker 8: He loves it and and like we like it fun,
- 34:32Speaker 8: we like it.
- 34:32Speaker 2: But yeah, it's not like it's not my preference.
- 34:35Speaker 6: I feel like Jake, he.
- 34:39Speaker 3: Like if he just has background musing on at his house,
- 34:41Speaker 3: but you just walk in, you want some turn on
- 34:43Speaker 3: the speakers, just have something for life. Yeah, it's it's
- 34:46Speaker 3: R and B really yeah, And I've never really met
- 34:49Speaker 3: anyone like that.
- 34:50Speaker 8: He's a huge R and B guy, big R and
- 34:51Speaker 8: B guy.
- 34:52Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 34:52Speaker 3: And like when I don't know a song like a
- 34:54Speaker 3: deep cut from like ninety nine, we're crazy for not
- 34:57Speaker 3: like what. You never heard the song, you don't know
- 34:59Speaker 3: exactly what, and you'll like sing thell He'll sing every
- 35:02Speaker 3: word of it.
- 35:03Speaker 5: That's cool.
- 35:04Speaker 8: So on Wednesdays we do R and B ye, and
- 35:07Speaker 8: we like it.
- 35:08Speaker 6: We're not we do it for Jake.
- 35:11Speaker 8: Yeah, we do it for Jake. Wednesdays are for Jake
- 35:13Speaker 8: and Jake.
- 35:14Speaker 5: It's a whole day. I can I can't even.
- 35:15Speaker 8: Get Tuesdays are kind of for Matt.
- 35:18Speaker 5: What days for hunger strike Temple the Dog.
- 35:20Speaker 3: Never a great song, but you've asked so much that
- 35:24Speaker 3: it's definitely playing.
- 35:26Speaker 5: Why would we do that?
- 35:27Speaker 8: The more you ask, the less I.
- 35:29Speaker 6: Want to do it.
- 35:29Speaker 5: Yeah, for sure.
- 35:31Speaker 6: Okay, let's go. Let's take a look at New Orleans
- 35:33Speaker 6: Saints practice. They have. I think there are ten practices
- 35:38Speaker 6: in already.
- 35:39Speaker 3: They're getting ready to start joint practices with the Jacksonville
- 35:42Speaker 3: Jaguars leading up to their first preseason game, which we're
- 35:44Speaker 3: all looking forward to a lot of to be excited about.
- 35:49Speaker 3: As we've talked about every single day here for Saints
- 35:51Speaker 3: fans going into the season, a lot of bright spots.
- 35:55Speaker 3: Defense has seemingly won the day most most days of
- 35:59Speaker 3: all the time and practices. Offense has certainly had its moments.
- 36:02Speaker 3: I think Tyler Shuck has from reports, has gotten more
- 36:06Speaker 3: consistent throughout the throughout training camp. But still I think
- 36:11Speaker 3: yesterday the defense one today. But there's a lot of
- 36:13Speaker 3: concern right now on the defensive side of the ball,
- 36:17Speaker 3: specifically the defensive line from just a health standpoint.
- 36:22Speaker 6: We've talked about it a lot.
- 36:23Speaker 3: How the Saints are a very talented roster on their
- 36:28Speaker 3: on their first string. Yeah, they're for their their first
- 36:31Speaker 3: twenty two, let's go twenty five to thirty guys very
- 36:33Speaker 3: talented can line up and play with anybody, stay on
- 36:35Speaker 3: the same field with anybody in the NFL. But how like,
- 36:40Speaker 3: what kind of can you withstand? How many injuries can
- 36:46Speaker 3: you withstand? And certainly this is the time of the year.
- 36:49Speaker 3: It's a little bit of overreaction from us because we
- 36:51Speaker 3: we we were, we want we're starred for news. We
- 36:56Speaker 3: want football news. We want to hear everybody's doing. We
- 36:58Speaker 3: want to see clips and games about to start. We're
- 37:00Speaker 3: about to have some real stuff to talk about, like yeah,
- 37:04Speaker 3: and you want a reason to That's what's great about
- 37:07Speaker 3: reality television. There's drama, there's negative, there's positive, and that's
- 37:10Speaker 3: what sports is. It's like the we we hone in
- 37:13Speaker 3: on these injuries because you don't know if it's going
- 37:16Speaker 3: to last for the entire year. You don't know what's
- 37:18Speaker 3: gonna replace it. But this is the time of the
- 37:20Speaker 3: year where I mean, these guys are are beating each
- 37:22Speaker 3: other up every single day with not a lot of rest,
- 37:26Speaker 3: So soft tissue is gonna happen. There's gonna be ankles,
- 37:28Speaker 3: there's gonna be risk. But on the defensive line. It
- 37:30Speaker 3: is concerning because there is so many. Of course, we
- 37:37Speaker 3: know what Brian brazy, he's out for the year of
- 37:39Speaker 3: an acl John Ridgeways miss multiple practice with a back.
- 37:44Speaker 3: Rookie Christian Miller missed multiple practices with a toe, so
- 37:47Speaker 3: you know, as Kellen Moore said, he's got a toe.
- 37:50Speaker 3: And then yesterday, so Nick Underhills said yesterday talking about
- 37:54Speaker 3: how well Devine Godschild had been playing, and he left
- 37:59Speaker 3: Tuesday's practice with an ankle, and we don't don't really know.
- 38:02Speaker 3: And then the two rookie and drafted players were waived
- 38:05Speaker 3: while managing injury. So and the most notable I think
- 38:08Speaker 3: that came out recently is Cam Jordan Taylor.
- 38:11Speaker 6: You got a little update on Cam Jordan yes over.
- 38:13Speaker 4: The one of the weekend practices, it was reported Kim
- 38:16Speaker 4: Jordan has a hamstring injury. Whenever I hear hamstring, that's
- 38:20Speaker 4: concerning to me, just because that's an injury that lingers
- 38:22Speaker 4: and lingers and lingers, and you never know when you're
- 38:25Speaker 4: gonna be fully healthy. And Kellen Moore came out yesterday
- 38:28Speaker 4: and said, yeah, we'll see it could possibly get into
- 38:31Speaker 4: the season. There's a chance Cam Jordan misses the season opener.
- 38:35Speaker 4: This is a guy that you waited on, right, you
- 38:38Speaker 4: did everything you could to bring him back. He is,
- 38:41Speaker 4: by all accounts of the leader of your team. Now,
- 38:44Speaker 4: you're okay frontline guys like you have Carl Granderson, you
- 38:47Speaker 4: have Chase Young, sure, but behind that there's a lot
- 38:51Speaker 4: of new. You did a good job replacing it because
- 38:54Speaker 4: you didn't know if Cam was gonna come back. Remember
- 38:56Speaker 4: you traded for Tyree Wilson. You brought in Anthony Jennings
- 39:00Speaker 4: Digs who was a rookie a year ago. So like
- 39:02Speaker 4: you have bodies there, it's just a lot of unknown
- 39:05Speaker 4: outside of your first two and Granderson and Young and look,
- 39:08Speaker 4: I mean Cam Jordan. When he's on the field, he's
- 39:10Speaker 4: still impactful. Like whether he's lost his step or not,
- 39:12Speaker 4: it doesn't matter. He is an impactful player. The hamstring
- 39:16Speaker 4: injury like that, that concerns me because yes, it goes
- 39:19Speaker 4: along with what you just said. Brazie out for the year.
- 39:22Speaker 4: Godshall has an injury right now. Christian Miller just got
- 39:25Speaker 4: back from the toe injury, so he's rusty. You mentioned
- 39:28Speaker 4: Ridgeway like it, just injuries are kind of piling up
- 39:31Speaker 4: a little bit. All these all these lingering injuries could
- 39:34Speaker 4: be a problem.
- 39:35Speaker 3: Yeah, and those ham strings soft tissue like that, they
- 39:37Speaker 3: can be pesky, they can be lingering. You just don't
- 39:39Speaker 3: really know, and everybody gets back from them at at
- 39:43Speaker 3: different times. There's not like you know, I think when
- 39:45Speaker 3: you have like a broken bone or you have a
- 39:48Speaker 3: ligament like surgical repair on stuff like that, you know
- 39:51Speaker 3: you have a pretty good window on the time frame
- 39:54Speaker 3: that it's gonna take somebody to be able to return.
- 39:56Speaker 3: Sometimes soft tissues, specifically hamstrings, man, sometimes they can, but
- 40:00Speaker 3: just they're the worst and they they sometimes they're deeper
- 40:03Speaker 3: than others. Sometimes there's more micro tears and like you
- 40:05Speaker 3: just don't really.
- 40:06Speaker 5: Know what I was saying this dock Like last week,
- 40:09Speaker 5: it is like I were getting one like right and
- 40:11Speaker 5: behind my knee, like like the lower part of that
- 40:14Speaker 5: was worse than anything. Like, Yeah, I could not figure
- 40:17Speaker 5: out because anytime you were like you know, for his baseball,
- 40:19Speaker 5: but like you're like running down the first whatever, like
- 40:21Speaker 5: you would just tweak it right just every third time I.
- 40:23Speaker 3: Pulled my hamstring going into my final season before it
- 40:27Speaker 3: was like in July when I was training for training
- 40:29Speaker 3: camp and I was running, I was doing the conditioning
- 40:31Speaker 3: test that I was going to do in New England
- 40:33Speaker 3: when I got there and I pulled a hamstring like
- 40:34Speaker 3: and that it was the worst pull I'd ever had.
- 40:37Speaker 3: And like even years later when I would take off sprinting,
- 40:40Speaker 3: like if I was doing a workout, right, I don't
- 40:41Speaker 3: do a lot of sprinting these days, but I would
- 40:44Speaker 3: still I would kind of still feel it, Like it
- 40:46Speaker 3: wouldn't hurt him, but I could feel that spot still. Uh,
- 40:49Speaker 3: it's just kind of those things you just don't know.
- 40:51Speaker 3: So he's got they.
- 40:54Speaker 5: That's like because you don't want to reaggravate it and
- 40:58Speaker 5: it's such an easy thing to react.
- 41:00Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, I guess the silver lining on that
- 41:03Speaker 3: is on the defensive line. I know you have to
- 41:04Speaker 3: spring on af to run, I have to push off,
- 41:06Speaker 3: but like it's not like your dB or corner. We
- 41:09Speaker 3: have to run forty fifty sixty yards at a full spring,
- 41:12Speaker 3: So there's a little bit maybe that's a little better,
- 41:15Speaker 3: but yeah, we'll see. Obviously, Cam Jordan gonna be huge,
- 41:18Speaker 3: hugely influential, you like that hugely big bigley. Of course,
- 41:24Speaker 3: if they want any chance, they need as many healthy
- 41:26Speaker 3: bodies as they can for week one on the road
- 41:30Speaker 3: against Detroit Lions. And we think that the Detroit Lions
- 41:32Speaker 3: are going to be very good this year. It's pretty
- 41:35Speaker 3: much a very similar team as they had two seasons
- 41:37Speaker 3: ago and where they go fifteen to two Taylor two
- 41:39Speaker 3: seasons ago, number one seed, going to the playoffs. Last year,
- 41:43Speaker 3: they you know, had kind of a they lost some
- 41:45Speaker 3: close games. It wasn't but they are very talented. They're
- 41:48Speaker 3: gonna be very in. Detroit is a very hard place
- 41:50Speaker 3: to play. So if the Saints want a chance to
- 41:52Speaker 3: stay on the field with them, they're gonna need as
- 41:54Speaker 3: many healthy bodies as they can. So something to keep
- 41:56Speaker 3: an eye on that defensive line, and we'll see what
- 41:58Speaker 3: kind of free agent signs they can make after at
- 42:02Speaker 3: the end of training camp. I'm sure they're keeping an
- 42:04Speaker 3: eye on the waiver wire and especially after cut day
- 42:06Speaker 3: after that last preseason game. So we'll see. But we'll
- 42:10Speaker 3: you know, thoughts and hopefully Cam Jordan get back on
- 42:12Speaker 3: the field and the rest of that defensive line.
- 42:14Speaker 6: Jordan, we're gonna go to break what'd you say, ham string?
- 42:17Speaker 5: It's got a camstring baby there. It is all segment
- 42:22Speaker 5: to think of it right there.
- 42:24Speaker 6: The whole time, and when you thought of it, you're like, yep.
- 42:26Speaker 5: Say it, I'm gonna run now.
- 42:28Speaker 6: All right, we're gonna go to break.
- 42:29Speaker 3: When we come back, we're gonna close out hour number one,
- 42:32Speaker 3: and then on the beginning of our number two of
- 42:34Speaker 3: doctor Steven Etard's joining the show. So stick with us
- 42:36Speaker 3: right here on off the bench.
- 42:38Speaker 6: After bench, all right, go to Russell.
- 42:41Speaker 3: Pools dot com cannonball Cannonball season has been on for
- 42:46Speaker 3: a long time, a couple months now, and boy, it
- 42:49Speaker 3: is hot out there. So if you want to refreshing
- 42:52Speaker 3: dip in a pool, and you want to make it
- 42:53Speaker 3: your own pool, you don't want to leave your house.
- 42:55Speaker 3: You want to have to go, you know, ask a friend,
- 42:57Speaker 3: ask a neighbor, Hey, can we come over and swim whatever? No,
- 43:00Speaker 3: you want your own right there. You want to turn
- 43:02Speaker 3: your backyard into a backyard oasis. So you want to
- 43:04Speaker 3: be the house that everybody wants to come hang out at.
- 43:07Speaker 3: If you have kids, they're growing up a little bit
- 43:09Speaker 3: kind of like ours. Like man, we're like, man, our
- 43:11Speaker 3: kids are getting old. We should have done this years ago.
- 43:13Speaker 3: We put it off. We put it off, we put off.
- 43:15Speaker 3: We're finally doing the project now. And man, I can't
- 43:18Speaker 3: wait till it's done, can't wait till next summer. We're
- 43:21Speaker 3: doing so many cannonballs. Make sure it's hot out there.

- 43:40Speaker 1: You locked in on LSU football twenty four to seven.
- 43:45Speaker 1: You're listening to off the bench, thinking.
- 43:56Speaker 3: All right, looking back here off the bench, closing out
- 43:58Speaker 3: our number one. Man, it's been a fast hour, having
- 44:00Speaker 3: a lot of fun. It's good energy today. Usually Wednesday
- 44:04Speaker 3: is not our best energy. But I think a laundry
- 44:06Speaker 3: being back, got a full house today.
- 44:11Speaker 5: Diaper talk. Diaper talk really got me going. He'd be football.
- 44:15Speaker 5: That's when I woke up. I don't need any coffee.
- 44:18Speaker 8: Zero caring was when you just woke up.
- 44:21Speaker 6: Cam string was good string, cam string, Jordan.
- 44:23Speaker 8: I can't get over I write car.
- 44:25Speaker 6: I writ car bomb.
- 44:26Speaker 8: That is it's like five minutes show.
- 44:33Speaker 3: Today, you see, like when it's when it's live radio,
- 44:38Speaker 3: like this is a very vulnerable.
- 44:39Speaker 6: Job, very vulnerable spot.
- 44:41Speaker 3: Yeah, you only have so much time in your head
- 44:44Speaker 3: to decipher whether something's offensive or not, whether you're going
- 44:48Speaker 3: to say it, but.
- 44:51Speaker 6: You just, yeah, you don't.
- 44:52Speaker 8: I don't have that.
- 44:53Speaker 3: I just hope for the best to your to your credit.
- 44:56Speaker 3: Though you haven't said any bad curse.
- 44:58Speaker 5: Words morning with Musso and.
- 45:01Speaker 6: Almost if you weren't there almost like I don't remember.
- 45:05Speaker 5: It's something triggered me though, But.
- 45:08Speaker 3: Like you don't have a lot of time, But I
- 45:11Speaker 3: decided quickly that I right, carbomb was not offensive.
- 45:15Speaker 6: So I don't know. I don't know if it is
- 45:17Speaker 6: or not.
- 45:17Speaker 8: I think funny for sure.
- 45:19Speaker 6: Canceled culture is died down. Yeah, yeah, they don't think
- 45:25Speaker 6: so I wouldn't push it.
- 45:27Speaker 8: I feel like.
- 45:28Speaker 2: If you make yourself uncancellable, like Dave Chappelle, then you
- 45:32Speaker 2: can't get canceled.
- 45:33Speaker 5: Yeah. I think we all have that quality.
- 45:34Speaker 3: Is there anybody like who else is uncanceld Like, is
- 45:36Speaker 3: there somebody that's uncancellable that's not a comedian Dave?
- 45:42Speaker 5: I guess any politician.
- 45:45Speaker 6: Let's think about it.
- 45:46Speaker 2: Kanye apparently. All right, well I decided I'm going next week.
- 45:53Speaker 6: You decide what the concert. Oh, that's what I'm talking about.
- 45:55Speaker 6: Let's go. That's it. Stick to the bench.
