Speaker 1: I am Sherry Mackie, and it's time for us to
• 0:03
Speaker 1: go to God in prayer. And as always I ask
• 0:06
Speaker 1: that you join along with me in prayer. Today I
• 0:11
Speaker 1: just want to pray about trusting in God's plan for
• 0:14
Speaker 1: our lives. Gracious and sovereign God, Today we come before
• 0:18
Speaker 1: you with hearts that are weary, minds that are full God,
• 0:23
Speaker 1: and spirits that are longing for peace. Life doesn't always
• 0:27
Speaker 1: make sense to us. The detours, the delays, the disappointments.
• 0:31
Speaker 1: They make us wonder why why is this happening? But Lord,
• 0:35
Speaker 1: even when we don't understand, we know that you can
• 0:38
Speaker 1: be trusted, and we choose to trust you because we
• 0:42
Speaker 1: believe it's all in your plan. When the door closed,
• 0:47
Speaker 1: it was your plan. When they walked away, it was
• 0:49
Speaker 1: your plan. When the answer was not yet or even know, God,
• 0:54
Speaker 1: you were still working behind the things. You were orchestrating
• 0:57
Speaker 1: something greater than we can ever imagine. So today, Father,
• 1:01
Speaker 1: we release our need to figure it all out. We
• 1:05
Speaker 1: let go of the anxiety that comes from trying to
• 1:08
Speaker 1: predict the outcomes in our lives. Because you are the
• 1:12
Speaker 1: God who sees the end from the beginning. Nothing catches
• 1:15
Speaker 1: you off. God, nothing happens outside of your divine knowledge.
• 1:19
Speaker 1: And even when it feels like life is spending out
• 1:22
Speaker 1: of control, you are still seated on the throne. You're
• 1:25
Speaker 1: still in full control. We thank you God that all things,
• 1:30
Speaker 1: the good, the bad, the heart, the confusing, all things
• 1:34
Speaker 1: are working together for our good because we love you
• 1:38
Speaker 1: and we're called according to your purpose. That means even
• 1:42
Speaker 1: the pain has purpose, even the waiting has weight and glory.
• 1:47
Speaker 1: Even the silence is part of the symphony. God, you're
• 1:51
Speaker 1: writing in our lives. Lord, remind us that you waste nothing.
• 1:57
Speaker 1: Every trial teaches us, every delay develops us. Every season
• 2:02
Speaker 1: of lack is preparing us to be good stewards in
• 2:06
Speaker 1: our overflow. So when we feel frustrated, let us lean
• 2:11
Speaker 1: into faith. When we feel for good, and remind us
• 2:14
Speaker 1: that your eyes are still on us. When we feel broken, God,
• 2:17
Speaker 1: reassure us that you are still building something beautiful. God,
• 2:22
Speaker 1: we surrender our plans for your purpose. We exchange our
• 2:25
Speaker 1: timelines for your divine timing. Help us not to rush
• 2:29
Speaker 1: what you're still refining. Give us the strength to walk
• 2:33
Speaker 1: by faith and not by sight, to trust it. If
• 2:36
Speaker 1: you allowed something to happen in our lives, you will
• 2:40
Speaker 1: use it, and if you've brought us to it, you'll
• 2:43
Speaker 1: certainly bring us through it. God, help us to rest
• 2:45
Speaker 1: in the truth that your ways are so much higher
• 2:49
Speaker 1: than our ways, and your thoughts are beyond what we
• 2:51
Speaker 1: can see. What looks like a set back may just
• 2:55
Speaker 1: be a set up for your glory. God. What feels
• 2:58
Speaker 1: like the end may simply be the beginning of something new. God,
• 3:02
Speaker 1: we declare right now in the name of Jesus, it's
• 3:05
Speaker 1: all in your plan, so we trust you. In the unknown.
• 3:09
Speaker 1: We choose to praise you in the in between. We
• 3:12
Speaker 1: choose to follow you even when the path isn't clear,
• 3:15
Speaker 1: because you are playing God for our lives is perfect,
• 3:18
Speaker 1: your heart is good, your love never fails. God, we
• 3:21
Speaker 1: give you glory and advance for how this story ends
• 3:25
Speaker 1: for us, because you are the author and the finisher
• 3:29
Speaker 1: of our faith, and we know you write nothing but
• 3:33
Speaker 1: victory for us. In the mighty name of Jesus. Amen, Amen, Amen,
