- 1:20Speaker 1: He goes into a lot of really cool trades. Eric,
- 1:22Speaker 1: welcome into the show. Thanks for coming in.
- 1:24Speaker 2: Pleasure to be here, been watching for a long time
- 1:26Speaker 2: and it's glad to be on the PBI network.
- 1:29Speaker 1: Awesome. Well, you have come at the right time because
- 1:32Speaker 1: the market is as heated as it can be. Eth
- 1:35Speaker 1: is battling with bitcoin right now. We saw what looked
- 1:39Speaker 1: to be an eight breakout and then Bitcoin said hold
- 1:43Speaker 1: my beer. It came roaring right back. So tell me
- 1:46Speaker 1: a little about where you see the market at right now,
- 1:49Speaker 1: especially with what we're seeing in terms of four year cycle.
- 1:52Speaker 2: Sure, yeah, so to go for the four year cycle.
- 1:54Speaker 2: I think everything's changing really for bitcoin in particular. The
- 1:58Speaker 2: reason why, most likely is because of the ETFs. Everything's
- 2:01Speaker 2: changed in my opinion since that came alive, and this
- 2:04Speaker 2: whole cycle really has been structurally different in very objective ways.
- 2:08Speaker 2: If I can actually share a chart really quickly. Yeah,
- 2:10Speaker 2: So this cycle has been completely uncharacteristic compared to any
- 2:14Speaker 2: past cycle. And the reason why we know that is
- 2:17Speaker 2: because this cycle has experienced multi very long, multi month
- 2:21Speaker 2: long corrections. We're talking bitcoin trading and arrange for you know,
- 2:25Speaker 2: anywhere between five to seven months. We've seen it three
- 2:28Speaker 2: times now. We saw it to of course right here,
- 2:31Speaker 2: we saw it more recently right here, and then of
- 2:33Speaker 2: course the most recent one right here as well. This
- 2:36Speaker 2: is completely different than anything that we've seen in the past.
- 2:38Speaker 2: If you look at past cycles for bitcoin, it's always
- 2:40Speaker 2: it's always been just a straight shot, that parabolic blow
- 2:43Speaker 2: off top that everyone loves, you know, once bitcoin breaks
- 2:46Speaker 2: in all time highs. That's what you saw, of course
- 2:48Speaker 2: right here in the twenty twenty one saga. In twenty seventeen,
- 2:52Speaker 2: it was just a beautiful, very long term but all
- 2:54Speaker 2: is just straight up the whole damn way. And then
- 2:56Speaker 2: same thing over here as well. No multi month long
- 2:58Speaker 2: corrections led to major continuations. In this case here we've
- 3:02Speaker 2: had three three very very long ones six months or
- 3:05Speaker 2: so on average, which is just uncharacteristic. So to me,
- 3:08Speaker 2: that says that the game is changed. And if the
- 3:09Speaker 2: game is changing, well, it makes sense because ETFs are
- 3:13Speaker 2: going to attract a whole different type of investor. And
- 3:16Speaker 2: we have to realize that, you know, the traditional sort
- 3:18Speaker 2: of investor, especially you know, big money managers, hedge fund
- 3:21Speaker 2: see sort of people, they don't trade like the traditional
- 3:24Speaker 2: crypto aficionado. Let's say, yeah, you know, people in the
- 3:29Speaker 2: people who are native to the crypto space, they're very
- 3:31Speaker 2: you know, apt to going ten x, twenty x, fifty x,
- 3:34Speaker 2: one hundred x leverage, and that's what kind of creates
- 3:37Speaker 2: these you know, major parabolic blowoff tops. But we have
- 3:40Speaker 2: to realize that hedge fund managers they're going to do
- 3:42Speaker 2: things differently, they effectively or in general, they will have
- 3:45Speaker 2: a mandate that you know, if bitcoin goes up let's
- 3:48Speaker 2: say twenty percent, they're going to sell some of their position,
- 3:51Speaker 2: and if bitcoin goes down, you know, fifteen twenty percent,
- 3:53Speaker 2: they're going to buy some. And we've seen that volatility
- 3:56Speaker 2: massively dissipate for bitcoin. Here, if we look at a
- 3:58Speaker 2: bitcoin volatility index, he's just been falling off a cliff
- 4:01Speaker 2: ever since that twenty twenty four January ETF debut happens.
- 4:05Speaker 2: So to me, that says that, you know, bitcoin volatile
- 4:08Speaker 2: be going down, which is generally good for the upside.
- 4:10Speaker 2: We're going to get more sort of consistent upside, but
- 4:13Speaker 2: you're also going to get these very long consolidation sideways,
- 4:16Speaker 2: which to me says, hey, these long term parabolic bluff
- 4:20Speaker 2: tops and dumps are not going to be happening in
- 4:23Speaker 2: the same way that we're used to anymore. You're going
- 4:25Speaker 2: to get these sort of you know, nice move up
- 4:27Speaker 2: trade sideways in a box, nice move up trade sideways
- 4:30Speaker 2: in a box. And when things do turn down, inevitably
- 4:32Speaker 2: it's not going to be I highly doubt it'll be
- 4:34Speaker 2: a seventy percent plus downside move you know. I think
- 4:37Speaker 2: really at most maybe we get fifty percent something like this.
- 4:40Speaker 2: But even then I imagine it'll be again down sideways,
- 4:43Speaker 2: down sideways, just because the way that these players will,
- 4:47Speaker 2: you know, trade this.
- 4:48Speaker 1: So you hit it on it right there, Eric, And
- 4:50Speaker 1: that is the fact that we are looking at a
- 4:52Speaker 1: completely different psychology of traders. And this is something that
- 4:55Speaker 1: I've been you know, kind of talking about for quite
- 4:57Speaker 1: some time, and that is that that is what is
- 5:00Speaker 1: changing this four year cycle when you look at that
- 5:03Speaker 1: and where eth dominance or I should say bitcoin dominance
- 5:06Speaker 1: is right now is just looking at the bitcoin dominance
- 5:08Speaker 1: chart and everybody's kind of been looking at this is
- 5:11Speaker 1: on the weekly, but everybody's been looking at this channel
- 5:13Speaker 1: right here around sixty percent is the window we dipped
- 5:17Speaker 1: or came very close to that. I think it just
- 5:20Speaker 1: dipped under sixty percent. Will this make a difference in
- 5:25Speaker 1: terms of entering alternative assets? People call it all coin
- 5:28Speaker 1: season for many of you that are new, that just
- 5:31Speaker 1: simply means assets other than bitcoin and eth. Do you
- 5:35Speaker 1: think that's going to be the window for us to say, Okay, yeah,
- 5:38Speaker 1: there's going to be some other rotations.
- 5:41Speaker 2: Look, I think in every cycle you're going to see
- 5:43Speaker 2: these sort of major pumps for all coins, typically near
- 5:47Speaker 2: the end of the cycle. The issue with them is
- 5:49Speaker 2: that most of these do not materialize into long term
- 5:52Speaker 2: macro uptrends, so these are always short term traits. If
- 5:54Speaker 2: you're getting into all coins. In my opinion, it can
- 5:57Speaker 2: ever be a long term investment. I've yet to see one, say,
- 6:00Speaker 2: all coin that has beat Bitcoin for two or more cycles,
- 6:03Speaker 2: meaning that it made a higher macro high from cycle
- 6:06Speaker 2: to cycle and a higher macro low. There's not been
- 6:10Speaker 2: one that I've seen. Now, I'm completely open to being
- 6:12Speaker 2: proven wrong in this, but I've been searching around for
- 6:14Speaker 2: the last three weeks just for an example of one,
- 6:17Speaker 2: and I haven't seen that happen. So, yes, you know,
- 6:19Speaker 2: do I think that there's going to be a nice large,
- 6:21Speaker 2: just big balance across the board with most all coins. Sure?
- 6:24Speaker 2: Are the newer ones going to be the bigger beneficiaries
- 6:26Speaker 2: of that? Most likely? Yes? Are they going to hold
- 6:28Speaker 2: onto these long term? Very unlikely. So that Bitcoin dominance,
- 6:32Speaker 2: whether it's going up or down, I don't think it
- 6:34Speaker 2: matters all that much because long term the trend against
- 6:38Speaker 2: bitcoin is down into the right towards zero. Yeah.
- 6:42Speaker 1: And I think the key here is anytime you are
- 6:44Speaker 1: going into these high volatile investments, short term trades, and
- 6:48Speaker 1: even to a certain extent, some of the securities out
- 6:51Speaker 1: there kind of move in this way if you think
- 6:52Speaker 1: just I look at it, and Tasla is probably the
- 6:54Speaker 1: one that has the most similar narrative to where it's
- 6:58Speaker 1: up it's down. It depends on what doing that day
- 7:01Speaker 1: or that week as to how the market is moved,
- 7:03Speaker 1: which feels a lot like a meme coin sometimes. But
- 7:06Speaker 1: to your point, I think the Bitcoin ETF, the what
- 7:10Speaker 1: we've seen now at the ethtfs have all started to
- 7:12Speaker 1: dictate onto the market. Here's Matthew Siegel, he was talking
- 7:15Speaker 1: about this very issue. You look at some points though,
- 7:18Speaker 1: fifty six percent of the AUM of bitcoin ETFs one
- 7:21Speaker 1: hundred and sixty nine percent of the net inflows. This
- 7:25Speaker 1: is something that's been done in sixteen months, all right,
- 7:28Speaker 1: and you consider this and the capacity of where this
- 7:32Speaker 1: market could go because this is just the beginning and
- 7:36Speaker 1: we really haven't seen real regulatory framework until now. So
- 7:40Speaker 1: are we destined for a continuation of this? And back
- 7:45Speaker 1: to your point, maybe bitcoin does only a partial retracement
- 7:49Speaker 1: this time around.
- 7:51Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, that's exactly what I think is going
- 7:53Speaker 2: to happen. I think people are going to be, you know,
- 7:56Speaker 2: very much accustomed to those seventy percent plus massive dumps,
- 8:01Speaker 2: you know, from cycle to cycle, and you're probably not
- 8:04Speaker 2: going to get that. I mean, I think fifty percent
- 8:06Speaker 2: would be you know, that's that's fine, Like, if that happened,
- 8:09Speaker 2: I would be happy to buy there. Yeah, maybe it
- 8:11Speaker 2: goes a little bit lower, sure, that's fine, but I
- 8:13Speaker 2: don't think it goes much lower than that. If it
- 8:15Speaker 2: goes that low, you know, that low at all. During
- 8:17Speaker 2: this current cycle, we haven't even really got these major
- 8:20Speaker 2: major pullbacks in the way that we have in the
- 8:22Speaker 2: past as well. You know, we've seen a couple of
- 8:24Speaker 2: thirty percent pullbacks, which you know, is huge if you're
- 8:27Speaker 2: in traditional land, of course, like absolutely that's a massive crash,
- 8:30Speaker 2: like everyone's you know, jumping out the window. But in
- 8:32Speaker 2: crypto land, this is this is just a Monday, so
- 8:35Speaker 2: it ain't so bad, right, right exactly. So yeah, I
- 8:39Speaker 2: think that those days are over. I think that is
- 8:40Speaker 2: generally going to be kind of a grind And if
- 8:42Speaker 2: you want sort of an allegory or a chart to
- 8:45Speaker 2: kind of follow, maybe not exactly obviously, but just a
- 8:48Speaker 2: general idea, it would be Gold. When Gold's ETF debuted,
- 8:52Speaker 2: it was just this grind up and grind up and
- 8:55Speaker 2: grind up. And so I don't think you need to
- 8:57Speaker 2: get super cute with buying bitcoin if you're a long
- 8:59Speaker 2: term person. Yeah, I think you know, maybe don't necessarily
- 9:03Speaker 2: want to bid it exact all time highs, but if
- 9:04Speaker 2: you see a fifteen twenty percent pullback, I think that
- 9:07Speaker 2: that's fine. Personally, if you're a long term investor, you know,
- 9:09Speaker 2: five years down the road, you're probably going to be
- 9:11Speaker 2: rather happy.
- 9:12Speaker 1: Yeah, for sure if you look at top indicators, because
- 9:15Speaker 1: there still are a lot of traders that are in
- 9:18Speaker 1: it for now, the next six months, the next eight months.
- 9:22Speaker 1: Maybe they're not in it, you know, to try to
- 9:25Speaker 1: wear this out, or maybe they're in a position right
- 9:27Speaker 1: now where they're trying to win as much as they
- 9:29Speaker 1: can and then spin down into Bitcoin when we do
- 9:32Speaker 1: see a retracement. Some people would say that's the strategy
- 9:36Speaker 1: to go. If you look at some of the indicators
- 9:39Speaker 1: out there, you get everything from the pie cycle, top
- 9:43Speaker 1: the multiple, the rainbow chart, anything that you're watching as
- 9:47Speaker 1: far as an indicator that says, hey, we have seen
- 9:50Speaker 1: another top indicator here.
- 9:52Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean there's several things that I'm watching, and
- 9:54Speaker 2: I think that we're on the verge of another you know,
- 9:56Speaker 2: multi month long top coming up probably between you know,
- 9:59Speaker 2: Septown at the earliest, maybe late October at the latest.
- 10:04Speaker 2: I can show a few charts here. This is where
- 10:05Speaker 2: I can go full on nerd mode on this kind
- 10:07Speaker 2: of stuff. But one of the big ones for me
- 10:10Speaker 2: is just looking at this weekly still cast a cost twitter.
- 10:13Speaker 2: It is in a zone that is effectively called all
- 10:15Speaker 2: of the major tops throughout this current cycle. One again,
- 10:17Speaker 2: those major tops throughout this current cycle. We've seen three
- 10:19Speaker 2: of them thus far, and they've been you know, four
- 10:21Speaker 2: to six months in total. All of them correlate with
- 10:24Speaker 2: these same levels. This one over here led to a
- 10:26Speaker 2: two hundred and three day correction, This one over here
- 10:28Speaker 2: led to a seventy day one, this one over here
- 10:30Speaker 2: two hundred and twenty four day correction, this one over
- 10:32Speaker 2: here one hundred and sixty one days, and we're seeing
- 10:35Speaker 2: that level hit yet again over here as things do
- 10:37Speaker 2: turn down with momentum. So to me, that says, hey,
- 10:39Speaker 2: maybe this one has one more you know, surprise move
- 10:42Speaker 2: to the upside, but we're a lot closer to a
- 10:44Speaker 2: major high than not. The majority of this current move
- 10:47Speaker 2: is likely done, and we're probably gonna be waiting around
- 10:49Speaker 2: for a long time as well. On top of this,
- 10:51Speaker 2: I think a lot a lot of people are familiar
- 10:53Speaker 2: with this chart. It's the tether dominance chart. So just
- 10:56Speaker 2: like the bitcoin dominant chart, you know, measures all the
- 10:58Speaker 2: other assets versus bitcoin, this one just measures all the
- 11:01Speaker 2: other assets versus tether, and it is down around the
- 11:04Speaker 2: exact same level that we've seen the past few major
- 11:07Speaker 2: highs in this market. This level has marked off. If
- 11:11Speaker 2: we put on a bitcoin chart in the background, the
- 11:14Speaker 2: high that we saw back on over in March twenty
- 11:16Speaker 2: twenty four, that was this segment right here, and then
- 11:18Speaker 2: the more recent one that we saw in November slash
- 11:20Speaker 2: December of twenty twenty four. And so these areas like
- 11:24Speaker 2: to get ground out for you know, ninety one days,
- 11:26Speaker 2: ninety one days and perhaps another ninety one days, and
- 11:29Speaker 2: where does that bring us into That brings us into
- 11:30Speaker 2: about October. So I think that this current move again
- 11:33Speaker 2: is on the clock right now, and if we move
- 11:35Speaker 2: even further than that, we can go ahead and look
- 11:37Speaker 2: at the stock to flow rainbow indicator. I know a
- 11:40Speaker 2: lot of people like to lot this one and hey,
- 11:41Speaker 2: is it is kind of funny, but you know, it
- 11:43Speaker 2: is in that same sort of region what we have
- 11:45Speaker 2: seen actually cycle tops in the past. But you know,
- 11:48Speaker 2: as you know, I don't think that we're going to
- 11:49Speaker 2: see like a really nasty draw down, you know, just
- 11:53Speaker 2: another maybe six to eight month long sideways correction. You know.
- 11:56Speaker 2: On top of this, we can go to the having
- 11:58Speaker 2: a high chart that I've got over here, and all
- 12:00Speaker 2: I'm doing is of just measuring the time from the
- 12:02Speaker 2: having to the high and found that especially for the
- 12:04Speaker 2: last couple of cycles, you know, this was around the
- 12:07Speaker 2: five hundred and twenty to five hundred and fifty day mark.
- 12:10Speaker 2: If we draw that one out here as well, where
- 12:12Speaker 2: does that put us October first? So we have so
- 12:14Speaker 2: many things coming in from the same direction. On top
- 12:16Speaker 2: of that, if I pull up the perhaps earliest time,
- 12:20Speaker 2: it would be this FIB time extension right here, which
- 12:23Speaker 2: has been pretty apt at calling the highs and lows
- 12:26Speaker 2: throughout these major trending moves, and that one has another
- 12:29Speaker 2: date coming in basically the first week of September. And
- 12:31Speaker 2: if I go back over here and look at the
- 12:34Speaker 2: monthly Stoll cast as Twitter, you know we are once
- 12:36Speaker 2: again heading up towards a similar region that we've seen
- 12:39Speaker 2: for the last few highs. Right If you look at
- 12:41Speaker 2: this region, we mark off the last few times we've
- 12:43Speaker 2: seen this area hit that would be this this this
- 12:47Speaker 2: and I imagine it's going to get hit if you know,
- 12:49Speaker 2: at least in a couple of months, So that puts
- 12:51Speaker 2: us out to October, maybe even as early as September.
- 12:54Speaker 2: You know, these have correlated with major highs that lead
- 12:57Speaker 2: into major corrections. I think that that's probably working to
- 13:00Speaker 2: see relatively soon as well.
- 13:01Speaker 1: So Eric, that's kind of a looking at a short
- 13:04Speaker 1: term window here. You look at some analysts out there,
- 13:08Speaker 1: they're thinking, you know, much longer term place here. Matt
- 13:11Speaker 1: Hogan was kind of hitting on it right here. If
- 13:13Speaker 1: you looked at, you know, where this market compared in
- 13:16Speaker 1: twenty twenty and what you were investing in ethereum classed
- 13:20Speaker 1: as tech, then of course you have bitcoin right there, Gold,
- 13:23Speaker 1: Nasdaq one hundred s, and P five hundred. These were
- 13:26Speaker 1: some pretty solid annualized gains and in very good, healthy returns.
- 13:31Speaker 2: So it's still do you.
- 13:32Speaker 1: Still feel that this is really the track that investors
- 13:36Speaker 1: should be looking at right now? Instead of now twenty
- 13:39Speaker 1: twenty five, we're looking out to twenty thirty.
- 13:42Speaker 2: Oh yeah. I mean, if you're a long term investor,
- 13:45Speaker 2: if you're managing a portfolio and you don't have bitcoin,
- 13:47Speaker 2: I don't know what you're doing. I think that there's
- 13:50Speaker 2: more risk in not having that. Of course it doesn't
- 13:52Speaker 2: need to be all bitcoin, but you know, the returns
- 13:55Speaker 2: for themselves, especially over the past five years. Who's going
- 13:57Speaker 2: to beat that? Nothing?
- 14:00Speaker 1: But what about this idea of rotation right now? So
- 14:03Speaker 1: we saw eth run up to forty three hundred Bitcoin
- 14:07Speaker 1: of course was setting around one sixteen at the time
- 14:10Speaker 1: it came in. There was some pullback in the market,
- 14:13Speaker 1: and now people are saying, well, maybe this is an
- 14:15Speaker 1: issue where it's actually Eth that is pulling Bitcoin up
- 14:20Speaker 1: the chart right now? Do you feel like that is
- 14:22Speaker 1: the case or no?
- 14:25Speaker 2: I mean I think that ethereum is going to outpace
- 14:27Speaker 2: Bitcoin for a little bit here, but you know, going
- 14:29Speaker 2: back to the earlier conversation and sharing my screen once again, look,
- 14:32Speaker 2: I think it goes maybe even another fifty percent from here.
- 14:35Speaker 2: It could easily go to five million satoshi's on the ratio.
- 14:38Speaker 2: But long term, this is in my opinion, a massive loser.
- 14:42Speaker 2: You can't I personally, if I'm putting on the long
- 14:45Speaker 2: term investor hat, I don't want to invest in anything
- 14:48Speaker 2: that can't beat bitcoin from cycle to cycle, and we
- 14:50Speaker 2: can see here for ethereum, it has not held higher
- 14:53Speaker 2: highs and higher lows from cycle to cycle. In twenty
- 14:55Speaker 2: twenty one, it put in a lower high, it came
- 14:57Speaker 2: back down to the lows. To me, that's a losing
- 15:00Speaker 2: investment long term, because you could just be in bitcoin,
- 15:02Speaker 2: which is, you know, kind of like the SPX of
- 15:04Speaker 2: crypto in a way, it's a safer one if you will.
- 15:07Speaker 2: Can I be wrong about this? Yeah? Absolutely? Would I
- 15:08Speaker 2: be happy to be wrong about this? No? Of course
- 15:10Speaker 2: I hate be roight. No, of course I'd be happy
- 15:12Speaker 2: to be wrong you know about this as well. But realistically,
- 15:15Speaker 2: you know, even if this chart, like I said, goes
- 15:17Speaker 2: up another fifty percent, which I think it very well may.
- 15:20Speaker 2: In fact, you know this is Ethereum's time right now,
- 15:23Speaker 2: then it won't even put in a higher high versus
- 15:25Speaker 2: this Bitcoin parent. To me, that is just long term weakness.
- 15:29Speaker 2: Even though if you're a shorter term trader, yeah, you're
- 15:32Speaker 2: probably better off holding a bit more Etheroeum right now
- 15:34Speaker 2: if you want better games for sure. Yeah.
- 15:36Speaker 1: Okay, So I want to play a clip for you,
- 15:39Speaker 1: and this clip is Tom Lee. You know I would
- 15:42Speaker 1: say he's the eighth marketing lead right now out there, right,
- 15:47Speaker 1: it would be a monarcho. Anyway, let me play this
- 15:50Speaker 1: clip for you, and then I want to get your opinion,
- 15:51Speaker 1: to take.
- 15:51Speaker 3: A look and to give perspective. In twenty seventeen, bitcoin
- 15:54Speaker 3: was under one thousand, but that was the year when
- 15:58Speaker 3: Wall Street discovered that the narrative of bitcoin is digital gold.
- 16:02Speaker 3: And bitcoin has gone to one hundred twenty thousand now,
- 16:04Speaker 3: so one hundred and twenty times increase. In twenty twenty five.
- 16:09Speaker 3: A couple of things are happening around Ethereum. The first
- 16:11Speaker 3: is the Genius Act is now making stable coins kind
- 16:15Speaker 3: of green lighted, which is the chat GPT moment for crypto,
- 16:19Speaker 3: but it needs a smart contract, so it doesn't work
- 16:21Speaker 3: on Bitcoin.
- 16:22Speaker 2: The second is.
- 16:23Speaker 3: The SEC is pushing forward with Project Crypto, which is
- 16:27Speaker 3: actually asking Wall Street to move the entire financial system
- 16:31Speaker 3: onto the blockchain. Ethereum is the preferred choice for Wall
- 16:35Speaker 3: Street because it's had zero downtime since inception, matching what
- 16:38Speaker 3: the banks want one hundred percent of time. It's also
- 16:41Speaker 3: the most legally compliant and secure blockchain.
- 16:45Speaker 1: All right, I hate when Tom Lee throws out fundamentals
- 16:48Speaker 1: like that, because you have to. You got to figure
- 16:50Speaker 1: out a way to argue with that. But to your
- 16:53Speaker 1: point is maybe it doesn't flow out long term. But
- 16:56Speaker 1: what Leah is saying is that maybe this is the
- 16:59Speaker 1: twenty seventeen moment for Eve and now is it's time
- 17:03Speaker 1: because of all these scenarios that are playing out in
- 17:05Speaker 1: the infrastructure of capital today. What do you make of that?
- 17:09Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, after watching that, I'm a believer an
- 17:13Speaker 2: He's a.
- 17:13Speaker 1: Good salesman man.
- 17:14Speaker 2: He sells it well, right, I mean, look, he talks
- 17:17Speaker 2: his book. There's no secret about that, and and fair enough,
- 17:20Speaker 2: you know he's allowed to look. I look at charts.
- 17:23Speaker 2: I don't know about all of what he said. It
- 17:25Speaker 2: sounds great to me. But that's the problem. Everything sounds
- 17:27Speaker 2: great to me. And if I went off of that,
- 17:29Speaker 2: I'd be investing in you know, every damn alt coin
- 17:32Speaker 2: let's say that exists on you know, on the planet.
- 17:34Speaker 2: But for me, I have to go off a trust
- 17:36Speaker 2: because I need something objective and objectivity comes from price prices,
- 17:40Speaker 2: the truth prices, you know what everything comes down to
- 17:43Speaker 2: at the end of the day. That's how people represent
- 17:45Speaker 2: their actual opinions with real actions by buying or selling
- 17:49Speaker 2: that opinion that he has. I mean, like I said,
- 17:51Speaker 2: it sounds logical, it sounds great, he speaks. Well, if
- 17:54Speaker 2: I'm just going off of that, yeah, I'm all in,
- 17:56Speaker 2: but yeah, yeah, you know personally, I personally will stand
- 18:02Speaker 2: back from that one.
- 18:03Speaker 1: All right, Well, there's a lot of people that are
- 18:05Speaker 1: kind of pushing this. What do you make of this
- 18:06Speaker 1: is Joseph Lubin just a quick look at then again
- 18:09Speaker 1: another guy talking his book and this is we've seen this.
- 18:13Speaker 1: What do you make of these treasury companies? Both on
- 18:16Speaker 1: the bitcoin side. Obviously Sailor is the I would say that,
- 18:20Speaker 1: you know, the titan of the industry right now and
- 18:24Speaker 1: his call with obviously with strategy, but now we're seeing
- 18:27Speaker 1: this with eth and even a handful of all coins
- 18:30Speaker 1: that are trying to play in this direction. Do you
- 18:31Speaker 1: think these are long term plays on the treasury side?
- 18:36Speaker 2: I'm not too sure, to be honest. I can go
- 18:38Speaker 2: both ways with this one, mostly because it feels to
- 18:41Speaker 2: me like a similar thing from the dot com era,
- 18:44Speaker 2: where everyone just added a dot calm at the end
- 18:46Speaker 2: of their name, right and their stuck went to the
- 18:47Speaker 2: moon and beyond and did they actually have that value? No,
- 18:51Speaker 2: they got washed out during the next sort of cycle.
- 18:53Speaker 2: I think that's very well what could happen here, But
- 18:57Speaker 2: I don't have super strong opinions about this, to be honest.
- 19:00Speaker 1: All right, last point to you, Eric, and I'm going
- 19:03Speaker 1: to look at an eighth price prediction and also a
- 19:08Speaker 1: bitcoin price prediction. We're looking at the eighth high right now.
- 19:11Speaker 1: Polymarket is calling it before October, so right in line
- 19:14Speaker 1: with what you're talking about. What do you think we're
- 19:18Speaker 1: going to see in terms of Eath's high do? We
- 19:21Speaker 1: obviously will at least on this chart they're saying all
- 19:24Speaker 1: time high by that time. Anything else?
- 19:26Speaker 2: I mean, I think, like I said, I think this
- 19:28Speaker 2: is Ethereum's time to shine these next few months here
- 19:30Speaker 2: for sure. You know, I wouldn't be surprised to see
- 19:33Speaker 2: anywhere between sixty five hundred on the low ends. Who
- 19:35Speaker 2: as much as maybe nine thousand to ten thousand on
- 19:38Speaker 2: the end.
- 19:39Speaker 1: Wow, how about bitcoin by end of year?
- 19:43Speaker 2: By end of year? You know, I think on the
- 19:45Speaker 2: lower ends maybe something like one thirty five, on the
- 19:48Speaker 2: upper end, about one fifty to one sixty.
- 19:51Speaker 1: Anything on the side of strategic reserves, if if the
- 19:56Speaker 1: US were to come out, I know Bohines just stepped down,
- 19:59Speaker 1: but if we do get strategic reserves, by the US
- 20:03Speaker 1: where they're actually creating some way of acquiring bitcoin. Do
- 20:06Speaker 1: you think that would initiate a longer run for bitcoin
- 20:09Speaker 1: into twenty twenty six?
- 20:12Speaker 2: Yeah? Absolutely, I mean again, I could easily see high
- 20:15Speaker 2: in October, you know, cool off for four to six months,
- 20:18Speaker 2: something like that gets announced, and then it's just the
- 20:20Speaker 2: same thing over again. Yeah, brincereet, for sure, I really
- 20:23Speaker 2: do think that that's probably what's most likely to happen.
- 20:26Speaker 1: Interesting, Okay, well I like that. You guys, of course
