- 0:00Speaker 1: All right, welcome back to our Complete Matchup Guide. Georgia
- 0:02Speaker 1: and Vandy this weekend. Some good storylines with Jared Curtis,
- 0:06Speaker 1: what we thought was going to be a one-time Georgia commit.
- 0:11Speaker 1: Now at Vandy, things have kind of changed and switched
- 0:14Speaker 1: up a little bit there, but this is presented by PrizePix.
- 0:16Speaker 1: I'll give some love to them later. But Graham, Georgia-Vandy,
- 0:20Speaker 1: maybe not the SEC matchup that everybody is raving about
- 0:24Speaker 1: this week. I know there's some other stuff happening in
- 0:26Speaker 1: the conference, but still a pretty intriguing matchup as we
- 0:28Speaker 1: try and learn more about where UGA is so far
- 0:31Speaker 1: in this season.
- 0:33Speaker 2: Yeah, for sure. And I mean, you know, Vanderbilt has
- 0:36Speaker 2: had a really odd circuitous path to get to three
- 0:39Speaker 2: in one, but they are still three in one. And,
- 0:42Speaker 2: you know, they've got, yeah, they kind of should have
- 0:47Speaker 2: maybe beat Auburn, honestly, like they lost that game on
- 0:50Speaker 2: a blocked punt return for a blocked punt for a touchdown.
- 0:55Speaker 2: They really outscored Auburn's offense though. So, Kind of interesting
- 1:00Speaker 2: team because their defense was bad and then they played
- 1:03Speaker 2: pretty good last week. So they're kind of changing fast,
- 1:06Speaker 2: which is what you expect from a well-coached team. Clark
- 1:09Speaker 2: Lee's a good coach. They've got Jerry Curtis, obviously, who's
- 1:12Speaker 2: a young talent, but they also have a lot of
- 1:14Speaker 2: new faces in new places. So I kind of think
- 1:16Speaker 2: they're evolving and there's a long way to go for them. Yeah.
- 1:21Speaker 1: On Georgia specifically, I think it's so hard to evaluate
- 1:26Speaker 1: certain teams because of who they've played. And I was
- 1:30Speaker 1: incredibly impressed with them against Oklahoma, but also keeping in mind,
- 1:37Speaker 1: Oklahoma is kind of a train wreck right now and
- 1:40Speaker 1: playing worse. I don't know if they're a worse team
- 1:42Speaker 1: or not, like it's maybe TBD, but playing worse right
- 1:45Speaker 1: now than we could have expected. I think the one
- 1:48Speaker 1: thing we all kind of thought though is, well, Georgia's
- 1:50Speaker 1: offense is going to have to work against this defense
- 1:53Speaker 1: and Georgia's offense looked great.
- 1:55Speaker 2: On Saturday.
- 1:56Speaker 1: And so, listen, I'll buy all the, look, when you
- 1:58Speaker 1: don't play anybody at a conference or your first SEC
- 2:01Speaker 1: game is Arkansas and Utah beat the crap out of them.
- 2:04Speaker 1: How much did we really glean from Georgia in the
- 2:07Speaker 1: first three weeks? I don't know. But that offense looked really,
- 2:11Speaker 1: really good. How much credit do you give Georgia's defense
- 2:13Speaker 1: for holding Oklahoma down?
- 2:14Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 2:15Speaker 1: I mean, UTEP did that. So questions that we all
- 2:19Speaker 1: kind of have. So thoughts on Georgia's offense against what
- 2:22Speaker 1: is a really good defense for OU?
- 2:26Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, look, that is a really good defense.
- 2:28Speaker 2: Kirby Smart, I know for a fact, told some people
- 2:31Speaker 2: in the building, told his players last week coming into
- 2:34Speaker 2: that game, like this is probably going to be the
- 2:36Speaker 2: best pure run defense that you've seen in three or
- 2:39Speaker 2: four years. And they felt that way. And so this
- 2:43Speaker 2: was not a game where Georgia was able to do
- 2:45Speaker 2: what they're kind of known for doing and more comfortable
- 2:48Speaker 2: doing in terms of just being a very efficient football team.
- 2:51Speaker 2: that goes on long drives. They did that at times.
- 2:53Speaker 2: Their first scoring drive was almost seven minutes. I think
- 2:57Speaker 2: it was the fourth longest touchdown drive that Oklahoma has
- 2:59Speaker 2: given up in the last 30 games. And they were
- 3:02Speaker 2: the first team to put over 40 on Oklahoma's as
- 3:05Speaker 2: they've joined the sec. So like it was, it was
- 3:07Speaker 2: a good day for UGA, but what I was most
- 3:09Speaker 2: impressed with was Georgia had talked all off season. Kirby
- 3:13Speaker 2: had talked all off season. We want to be more explosive.
- 3:16Speaker 2: We need to be more explosive and, And you get
- 3:19Speaker 2: into a game against Oklahoma, who is a very aggressive
- 3:22Speaker 2: defense that wanted to blitz Georgia a lot. And Georgia,
- 3:26Speaker 2: to their credit, said, you know, we're going to throw downfield.
- 3:29Speaker 2: We're going to get the ball outside. We're going to
- 3:32Speaker 2: take advantage of these man-to-man matchups that the heavy pressure
- 3:35Speaker 2: packages Oklahoma runs creates. And that's just not something I'm
- 3:39Speaker 2: sure they would have done like last year. I'm not
- 3:42Speaker 2: sure that's how they would have handled that. And In
- 3:45Speaker 2: the run game, it was a slog at times. They
- 3:48Speaker 2: had some tough runs, much more than you usually see
- 3:51Speaker 2: from a Georgia offense, especially I think this particular Georgia offense,
- 3:55Speaker 2: but they break a 55-yard run for a touchdown with
- 3:58Speaker 2: the White Phillips. They're up to, I think, six 50-yard
- 4:02Speaker 2: plays from scrimmage so far this year after only having
- 4:04Speaker 2: two all of last year, so there's a lot of
- 4:06Speaker 2: good trend lines and signs for them offensively, but really
- 4:10Speaker 2: seeing them commit to throwing the ball vertically with Gunnar
- 4:13Speaker 2: Stockton and some of these young wide receivers who were
- 4:16Speaker 2: well heralded coming out of high school, but that we
- 4:18Speaker 2: haven't really seen do that in a game yet was impressive.
- 4:23Speaker 1: When you think about this Vandy matchup, obviously Jared Curtis
- 4:27Speaker 1: being questionable is a storyline going into it. And I
- 4:31Speaker 1: just kind of wonder, I feel like there's a million
- 4:33Speaker 1: angles you can go. So I'll just like, you know,
- 4:35Speaker 1: let my ADD brain go wild for a minute and,
- 4:37Speaker 1: and spout them all off to you. And then you
- 4:39Speaker 1: can kind of go in the direction that you want one,
- 4:42Speaker 1: you know, him not playing matters because he's a starting quarterback,
- 4:45Speaker 1: but also like, I also think like you're talking about
- 4:48Speaker 1: a kid that would be playing his fifth college game anyway,
- 4:50Speaker 1: like this isn't the same as Sam Levitt being questionable
- 4:52Speaker 1: right before old miss.
- 4:54Speaker 2: Right.
- 4:55Speaker 1: I think the, not that you're starting quarterback isn't important everywhere,
- 4:58Speaker 1: but it's a guy with five starts or four starts
- 5:01Speaker 1: right in, in a, in a college career. as opposed
- 5:03Speaker 1: to Levitt where they've really built a lot of things
- 5:05Speaker 1: around him. So, you know, you want him there if
- 5:08Speaker 1: you're Vandy, but it's probably not like the massive drop off. Otherwise,
- 5:14Speaker 1: like it might be if this guy, if Jared was
- 5:16Speaker 1: in his third year.
- 5:17Speaker 2: Right.
- 5:17Speaker 1: So that's one thought that I have. Two is if
- 5:20Speaker 1: he's battling back from what Clark Lee has called a
- 5:22Speaker 1: major injury. Not that you're cheering.
- 5:25Speaker 2: Has he called it that?
- 5:27Speaker 1: That's what I read. Like that he's bad. He's mentally
- 5:29Speaker 1: and physically tough. battling back from a, I'm sorry, minor injury.
- 5:33Speaker 2: Yeah. Let's correct that. Correct it.
- 5:36Speaker 1: But if he's battling back from a minor injury and
- 5:40Speaker 1: he's questionable on, on a status, I don't know that
- 5:43Speaker 1: the Georgia defense, not that you would ever cheer for
- 5:45Speaker 1: an injury or hope a guy gets hurt, but like
- 5:47Speaker 1: the risk of being re-injured against a Georgia defense to
- 5:50Speaker 1: me is pretty real. And something that needs to be
- 5:53Speaker 1: considered of, you know, is Vandy trying to win the
- 5:55Speaker 1: battle or the war, right? Like for, for the season. Um, Again,
- 5:59Speaker 1: not that I'm encouraging any kind of people will read
- 6:01Speaker 1: into that the wrong way, but I do think you're
- 6:03Speaker 1: thinking about that. If you're Vandy is like, man, I'd
- 6:05Speaker 1: really rather this be an Arkansas defense that we were
- 6:07Speaker 1: going up against this week or somebody that doesn't play
- 6:10Speaker 1: with maybe the ferocity of a UGA. You know, how
- 6:13Speaker 1: does the Curtis storyline just impact the entire day for
- 6:17Speaker 1: this game? Let me take a real quick break. Let's
- 6:20Speaker 1: give price pick of if you play a $ 5 lineup
- 6:23Speaker 1: for a hunt for on the price picks app using
- 6:26Speaker 1: code HMA. If you win that, your first lineup, you
- 6:29Speaker 1: get $ 150 instantly. If you want a lineup that's a
- 6:33Speaker 1: winner this week, I've got it for you. Bo Pribula,.
- 6:37Speaker 1: 5 passing touchdowns. Jaden Baugh,. 5 anytime touchdowns. Jaden Baugh
- 6:43Speaker 1: is going to score on the road up at Missouri.
- 6:45Speaker 1: They're going to hand him the ball 25 times, as
- 6:47Speaker 1: good as Duke Clark has been. That will be a
- 6:49Speaker 1: really good one for you to go out and get.
- 6:52Speaker 1: Florida State's passing defense, absolutely terrible. I say that as
- 6:55Speaker 1: an FSU guy. Bo Pribula will throw for a passing touchdown. Now,
- 6:59Speaker 1: normally this would only pay out $ 6 on a $ 20 lineup,
- 7:03Speaker 1: but because of the bonus, you get $ 150 in bonus
- 7:05Speaker 1: bets if you use code HMA and it's your first time.
- 7:08Speaker 1: So you want to up your ante, put $ 5 in,
- 7:11Speaker 1: use our code, go set that lineup, go win it.
- 7:14Speaker 1: Low payout normally, but $ 150 this week if you use
- 7:16Speaker 1: the code HMA.
- 7:21Speaker 2: I mean, I think that is the whole game, in
- 7:24Speaker 2: my opinion. If you look at Vandy's offense, really without him,
- 7:28Speaker 2: there's not much of an offense. They do not run
- 7:31Speaker 2: the ball well from a design run standpoint. They are
- 7:36Speaker 2: on their first contact yards per rush attempt. They're 66
- 7:40Speaker 2: out of 68 power floor teams. Against Auburn, they had
- 7:43Speaker 2: negative yards before contact in the rushing game. They ran
- 7:46Speaker 2: for 137 and had 150 yards after contact. A lot
- 7:49Speaker 2: of that was Jared Curtis scrambling around. I think he
- 7:53Speaker 2: had 101 yards rushing after contact in that Auburn game.
- 7:57Speaker 2: If you put Blaise Berlowitz out there for Vanderbilt, you're
- 8:01Speaker 2: not going to get that same dynamic from an athleticism standpoint.
- 8:05Speaker 2: This has not been an offense that has shown it
- 8:08Speaker 2: can do much other than take what you give them
- 8:11Speaker 2: in terms of throwing in front of some linebackers maybe
- 8:14Speaker 2: that are sitting in a zone or Chuck it deep
- 8:18Speaker 2: with Jared Curtis making like five-star hero throws. And then
- 8:23Speaker 2: letting him create kind of off-script, off-passing plays. Their best
- 8:27Speaker 2: running plays have been Jared Curtis running off-passing plays. So
- 8:30Speaker 2: without him, this game could get very, very sideways. It
- 8:33Speaker 2: could still get sideways with him. But to your point,
- 8:38Speaker 2: certainly an interesting decision for Clark Lee. Certainly an interesting
- 8:43Speaker 2: decision for Jared Curtis, quite frankly. Do you want to
- 8:46Speaker 2: walk out there and play this Georgia defense without a
- 8:50Speaker 2: great offensive line, without much of a run game to
- 8:53Speaker 2: support you, and on a team that, I mean, they
- 8:57Speaker 2: can't protect play-action passes. There's not much structure and things
- 9:03Speaker 2: to lean on easy-button-wise for their offense. They don't have
- 9:06Speaker 2: a screen game. This could be a game where he
- 9:09Speaker 2: does take a lot of hits if he's going to
- 9:12Speaker 2: play a competitive brand of football. And I don't think
- 9:16Speaker 2: that they're going to trot him out there or that
- 9:18Speaker 2: he wants to trot out there to not be competitive
- 9:21Speaker 2: or to, you know, throw the ball in the dirt
- 9:23Speaker 2: right before a hit comes on. Like, this is college football.
- 9:26Speaker 2: This is not– this is college football against Georgia's defensive
- 9:30Speaker 2: line and Georgia's linebackers that have guys like Chris Cole
- 9:34Speaker 2: running around out there. So, you better come correct and
- 9:37Speaker 2: you better have the right mentality going out there. If
- 9:39Speaker 2: you play not to get hurt or if you play
- 9:41Speaker 2: to protect yourself, sometimes that can be even more dangerous.
- 9:44Speaker 1: I agree. We saw Georgia's offense at times look really
- 9:50Speaker 1: good throughout the season, but even against a really good
- 9:53Speaker 1: Oklahoma defense, is there anything that Vandy does scheme-wise? Obviously,
- 9:58Speaker 1: talent for talent. We know what's going on. this matchup is,
- 10:00Speaker 1: but is there anything that Vandy does scheme-wise that could
- 10:03Speaker 1: cause Georgia any kind of trouble? Because if it's athlete
- 10:06Speaker 1: on athlete, certainly, I don't know how intriguing the analysis
- 10:10Speaker 1: would be there, but with their scheme, with the things
- 10:13Speaker 1: that they'll try and do to pull the rabbit out
- 10:15Speaker 1: of the hat here and be competitive in the fourth quarter,
- 10:18Speaker 1: what do you think there?
- 10:20Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, they've got some interesting stuff going on defensively.
- 10:23Speaker 2: Their free safety, C.J. Hurd, number eight, I just thought
- 10:26Speaker 2: he was fun to watch in the Auburn tape. He
- 10:29Speaker 2: took 10 snaps at edge, 37 snaps in the box,
- 10:32Speaker 2: 20 snaps as a free safety, lined up at corner,
- 10:35Speaker 2: lined up over the slot. He's all over the place,
- 10:39Speaker 2: and they kind of do that with a couple of
- 10:40Speaker 2: their pieces to try and muddy the waters and confuse, hey,
- 10:44Speaker 2: is this guy dropping in coverage or is this guy
- 10:46Speaker 2: coming on a blitz? Is he here in run support?
- 10:49Speaker 2: similar to what Georgia saw against Arkansas. They'll use some
- 10:52Speaker 2: creepers in the run game where they're part of their
- 10:56Speaker 2: sim pressure packages. Gunnar Stockton, to this point in his career,
- 11:02Speaker 2: has certainly been a guy who, if you blitz him
- 11:05Speaker 2: and give him those man coverage looks, he usually looks
- 11:08Speaker 2: way more comfortable. So far this year, he's 26-35 for
- 11:12Speaker 2: 500 yards and seven touchdowns against the blitz of 14.5
- 11:15Speaker 2: yards as an attempt. He's really doing well. Teams have
- 11:19Speaker 2: had success against him. Like Georgia Tech had a lot
- 11:22Speaker 2: of success against him last year by just dropping eight
- 11:25Speaker 2: out and, and kind of really trying to, to muddy
- 11:28Speaker 2: the short and intermediate passing lanes and see how he
- 11:32Speaker 2: reacts to that and kind of make him live on
- 11:34Speaker 2: small chunks. Vandy has not done that to this point
- 11:37Speaker 2: in the season, but they will kind of switch in
- 11:41Speaker 2: and out of some pressure heavy stuff and then, and
- 11:44Speaker 2: then dropping some exotic looks. So, They can certainly kind
- 11:48Speaker 2: of pull some different rabbits out of the hat, to
- 11:51Speaker 2: borrow your phrase. I just don't know over the long
- 11:55Speaker 2: haul in this game how much that will kind of
- 11:58Speaker 2: add up. But they do have a good pair of
- 12:02Speaker 2: safeties that I think can kind of help keep a
- 12:04Speaker 2: lid on things and maybe force Georgia to drive the
- 12:07Speaker 2: field and not just hit a lot of explosive plays.
- 12:11Speaker 1: Do you worry at all about Georgia– coming off of
- 12:14Speaker 1: a big-time win, just less analytical, more big picture, coming
- 12:18Speaker 1: off of a big-time win against Oklahoma and having any
- 12:24Speaker 1: kind of a letdown. Because if you look at Vandy,
- 12:28Speaker 1: their schedule is brutal. They do get the Arkansas game,
- 12:31Speaker 1: but every other game, Georgia this week, Ole Miss after that,
- 12:35Speaker 1: Arkansas is there, at Kentucky, at Kamario Taylor, against Alabama,
- 12:40Speaker 1: at Jaden Baugh. and Buster Faulkner, who we'll talk about
- 12:45Speaker 1: in a little bit, and then Tennessee to finish things off.
- 12:48Speaker 1: You get the Arkansas game, but outside of that, it
- 12:50Speaker 1: is just complete. Every one of these teams could fight
- 12:53Speaker 1: for the playoff. Maybe Kentucky and Tennessee are a bit
- 12:56Speaker 1: of a stretch. Vandy's going to have to knock somebody
- 13:00Speaker 1: off to even get close to bowl eligibility. On the
- 13:03Speaker 1: reverse side, if you're Georgia, do you worry about any, like,
- 13:07Speaker 1: we sleepwalk through a game against Vanderbilt who seems to
- 13:10Speaker 1: have returned a little bit more to form of what
- 13:12Speaker 1: we've known Vandy as?
- 13:14Speaker 2: I would if this Oklahoma game that they had just
- 13:18Speaker 2: played had been a little more dramatic and intense. I
- 13:23Speaker 2: think they came off that game and the speech they
- 13:25Speaker 2: got in the locker room from Kirby was literally in
- 13:29Speaker 2: line of, hey, congrats on the win, but you guys
- 13:32Speaker 2: didn't really knock them out blow-to-blow physically the way that
- 13:35Speaker 2: we want to knock teams out. I don't know that
- 13:38Speaker 2: there was a ton of praise. I think The reaction
- 13:42Speaker 2: to that win was a lot of people just saying, well,
- 13:45Speaker 2: John Mateer sucks, Oklahoma sucks. Of course, Georgia beat them, right?
- 13:49Speaker 2: And I'm not saying that's fair or even necessarily all
- 13:53Speaker 2: the way accurate, but that's how the national media and
- 13:58Speaker 2: some of the local media even have interpreted that game.
- 14:01Speaker 2: I think the spot to look for Georgia possibly in
- 14:04Speaker 2: a letdown would be if they go to Tuscaloosa and
- 14:06Speaker 2: beat Alabama and then come home the next week and
- 14:09Speaker 2: have to play an Auburn team that looks kind of
- 14:11Speaker 2: shaky so far this year. That would be the time
- 14:15Speaker 2: to look for them. If they win at Alabama, that
- 14:18Speaker 2: would be something they haven't done since 2007.
- 14:22Speaker 1: 24.5 point spread. Saban's first year. You just mentioned that
- 14:25Speaker 1: Alabama game. Also lost to ULM before. terrorizing college football
- 14:29Speaker 1: for a decade and a half, but 24 and a
- 14:33Speaker 1: half point spread. Is this the spread that Georgia covers
- 14:36Speaker 1: if they want to? Obviously, Curtis's injury makes an impact,
- 14:39Speaker 1: but is it kind of like if Kirby wants to
- 14:41Speaker 1: cover the spread, they'll cover the spread? Not that he
- 14:42Speaker 1: cares about the specific number, but if he wants to
- 14:45Speaker 1: leave guys in, they'll probably get there, or were your
- 14:48Speaker 1: thoughts around taking the line? Because I'll tell you, I'm
- 14:51Speaker 1: diving full in on the line. If that's a trap
- 14:53Speaker 1: by Vegas, then I'll fall into it, man. Bring it on.
- 15:01Speaker 1: The BYU spread went from seven and a half, and
- 15:03Speaker 1: now it's down to like five and a half now,
- 15:05Speaker 1: and you're like, oh, it's on the road.
- 15:06Speaker 2: It's a TCU.
- 15:07Speaker 1: I'll still take it. Whatever, man. Like, bring it on, man.
- 15:10Speaker 2: If I got to be a sucker, I'll be one.
- 15:11Speaker 2: You're telling me that I can bet against Georgia at home,
- 15:16Speaker 2: potentially against a used Blaise Berlowitz, and it's only 24
- 15:21Speaker 2: and a half points? come on man where's my mortgage
- 15:24Speaker 2: payment for.
- 15:25Speaker 1: This month yeah i was gonna say put it all
- 15:27Speaker 1: in black yeah no i.
- 15:30Speaker 2: Like georgia has been covering the spread this year it's
- 15:34Speaker 2: it's a thing that's happened uh the oklahoma game last
- 15:37Speaker 2: week and and really every game they've played like kirby
- 15:42Speaker 2: was so angry after uh their second game of the
- 15:47Speaker 2: year because they're, they put their backups in on defense
- 15:50Speaker 2: and their backups like gave up some points to Western Kentucky.
- 15:54Speaker 2: And then he was pissed about it after the Arkansas game,
- 15:56Speaker 2: but Val did not let it ruin his day. And
- 15:59Speaker 2: then like, you could tell he was angry about it
- 16:01Speaker 2: again after the Oklahoma game because Mateer and the Oklahoma
- 16:05Speaker 2: starters went in when Georgia put their backups. So I just,
- 16:10Speaker 2: that will be the interesting angle really. Like I could
- 16:13Speaker 2: see Georgia getting a lead. to cover this spread. And
- 16:17Speaker 2: then Vandy, if they decide to try and like, if
- 16:21Speaker 2: Curtis does play and they leave Curtis in this game,
- 16:25Speaker 2: certainly see him coming in and like dotting up a
- 16:28Speaker 2: bunch of freshmen for a couple of touchdown passes late.
- 16:32Speaker 2: So the, the angle to play this game might be
- 16:34Speaker 2: first half, honestly. It is supposed to rain on Saturday
- 16:38Speaker 2: in Athens, or they're calling for a good chance of
- 16:41Speaker 2: rain to forecast.
- 16:42Speaker 1: Rainy everywhere in the southeast, yeah.
- 16:44Speaker 2: Yeah, so that could certainly contribute to the point total
- 16:48Speaker 2: in this game and make it a little sloppy. If
- 16:50Speaker 2: that happens, I actually think it favors Georgia because I
- 16:52Speaker 2: think Vandy's whole offense at this point is pretty much
- 16:55Speaker 2: like hope. Curtis makes a god-tier throw downfield. I will
- 17:02Speaker 2: be picking Georgia to cover this spread, especially I like
- 17:08Speaker 2: them to cover it anyways, but if there's a world
- 17:11Speaker 2: out there where it's possible that Curtis might not play
- 17:14Speaker 2: or that Curtis could take a hit that gets him
- 17:18Speaker 2: leaving this game early or anything like that, then you
- 17:21Speaker 2: could see a lot of three and outs from Vanderbilt.
- 17:24Speaker 1: I am quickly looking up just to see what it
- 17:29Speaker 1: looks like. The halftime um spread on this and i
- 17:34Speaker 1: don't know why i'm i'm struggling to find it i
- 17:36Speaker 1: don't want to spend a ton of time uh scrolling
- 17:38Speaker 1: through my phone but i uh i would be interested
- 17:42Speaker 1: in what that halftime spread is and if you like
- 17:45Speaker 1: it maybe a good play for people that uh yeah
- 17:49Speaker 1: here we go halves georgia minus 14 and a half
- 17:52Speaker 1: so the hook is there but i feel like that's
- 17:57Speaker 1: a pretty good number so.
- 17:58Speaker 2: Pretty good number man I think they've been a hot
- 18:01Speaker 2: starting team so far this year. Yeah.
- 18:04Speaker 1: And I think you do worry about the backdoor cover
- 18:06Speaker 1: in any kind of game. What's a big spread backups
- 18:09Speaker 1: get in? How much does Georgia care to not care,
- 18:12Speaker 1: but like they're not going to put their starters back
- 18:15Speaker 1: in to cover a spread. Right.
- 18:16Speaker 2: So could be a Ryan Pugliese legacy game though. I mean,
- 18:20Speaker 2: Kirby has been like cutting the backup quarterbacks loose a
- 18:23Speaker 2: little bit more this year. Imagine Ryan Puglisi going out
- 18:26Speaker 2: and out-dueling five-star Jared Curtis, who was going to come
- 18:30Speaker 2: and take his job, who everyone was ready to sell
- 18:34Speaker 2: him down the river for. Could be a pretty awesome
- 18:38Speaker 2: coded moment for those that understand the significance.
- 18:41Speaker 1: Yeah, the recruiting psychopaths like some of us tend to be.
