  Speaker 2: Of course you are uncomfortable being in it. As you

  Speaker 2: go through life's challenges and setbacks, of course, you regretting

  Speaker 2: the decisions you've made. But once you are through all

  Speaker 2: of the storms and you are in reflective mode, you

  Speaker 2: have got to sit there in that moment and go, Wow,

  Speaker 2: God is really good, because somehow he brought you through it.

  Speaker 2: Somehow you survived it worst moment when it just kept

  Speaker 2: feeling like it was just raining and thunderstorming on you. Man,

  Speaker 2: and and and and and and the boat was about

  Speaker 2: to turn over. Somehow it didn't. And He got you

  Speaker 2: through it. And as I sit and I look in

  Speaker 2: my life right now, all of the things that happened

  Speaker 2: to me that I wish that I was wishing I

  Speaker 2: could have changed at that particular moment, and there are

  Speaker 2: many I realize now why they happened, because everything you're

  Speaker 2: going through is God preparing you for what you asked for. Look, man,

  Speaker 2: I didn't even know it, I said, But you know,

  Speaker 2: somewhere down the line, I kept asking God to make
• 2:41
  Speaker 2: me relevant. That's always been a prayer of mine. I
• 2:45
  Speaker 2: wanted to be a relevant person. I wanted my life
• 2:48
  Speaker 2: to count for something. See for me, it's always been
• 2:52
  Speaker 2: more than just telling jokes. I wanted to be relevant.

  Speaker 2: So in that God prepared me to be relevan. And

  Speaker 2: you know how He did it by making me incredibly irrelevant.

  Speaker 2: That's what I had to learn. He took everything from me.

  Speaker 2: I lost it all. He stripped me down, he tested me.

  Speaker 2: He ran me through the furnace, poured me into a
• 3:19
  Speaker 2: new mold. I didn't like none of that heat. I
• 3:22
  Speaker 2: didn't like getting liquified. I didn't like getting poured into
• 3:25
  Speaker 2: the new mold. And then it cooled off, and I
• 3:30
  Speaker 2: realized that all of that through the furnace was so
• 3:33
  Speaker 2: He could pour me into this new mold and make
• 3:37
  Speaker 2: me the strong engine block that I become. God Man
• 3:42
  Speaker 2: prepared me for this. So, okay, Steve, you want to

  Speaker 2: be relevant? Watch this. I'm gonna make you relevant. I'm
• 3:49
  Speaker 2: gonna put you through the grinder. I'm gonna make you

  Speaker 2: lose everything. I'm gonna make you fall, I'm gonna put

  Speaker 2: you under. See he put me under, so when I

  Speaker 2: got up, I could teach people how to get over.

  Speaker 2: He knocked me down and got me up so I

  Speaker 2: could show people how to get up. He made me

  Speaker 2: lose everything so I could then show people how to

  Speaker 2: recover from anything. And you know, it just kind of

  Speaker 2: got me in a position where her old people say,

  Speaker 2: I'm just a nobody trying to tell everybody about somebody

  Speaker 2: that can save anybody. And that's what my life has

  Speaker 2: come to. And had I not gone through all the

  Speaker 2: perils and hardships and trials and challenges, I would not

  Speaker 2: know what I know today. And now do you know

  Speaker 2: what's crazy? Man? And I didn't even see it coming

  Speaker 2: after I stopped doing stand up. Do you know what

  Speaker 2: the majority of people around the world know me from

  Speaker 2: the majority and a lot of people remember the Kings

  Speaker 2: of comedy. They still I got. I was on the

  Speaker 2: plane the other day and the guy said, hey, man,

  Speaker 2: I just won't tell you something. I love the Kings

  Speaker 2: of comedy, Oh white guy. But do you know what

  Speaker 2: the majority of people today know me? As my video

  Speaker 2: clips that have gone viral, the Jump video, all the

  Speaker 2: moments on stage when I stopped my shoulders speak to people.

  Speaker 2: That's what people remember me from the last two gigs

  Speaker 2: I had. The last two gigs I had, I was

  Speaker 2: speaking in another country. I wasn't telling jokes. I was

  Speaker 2: a motivational speaker in another country. You know why cause

  Speaker 2: he made me relevant. And you know how he made

  Speaker 2: me relevant by re forging me, by testing me, challenging me,

  Speaker 2: stripping me, and man, I look back on it all

  Speaker 2: and it was all worth it because if I had

  Speaker 2: not done those things, I would not be where I

  Speaker 2: am and who I am today. And I owe it

  Speaker 2: all all to the grace, goodness and mercy of my
