- 0:25Speaker 1: Welcome to Opposition Territory here at the Philadelphia Sports Table
- 0:28Speaker 1: Podcast Show, the longest running weekly Philly sports podcast show
- 0:31Speaker 1: in the world, over 13 and a half years strong.
- 0:34Speaker 1: Got a great, great preview show coming your way this week.
- 0:37Speaker 1: I hope it's good. I mean, the show is going
- 0:39Speaker 1: to be good. I can't promise the game that we
- 0:42Speaker 1: are going to be seeing this week seven against the
- 0:45Speaker 1: Philadelphia Eagles. I should say the Philadelphia Eagles against Dallas
- 0:48Speaker 1: Cowboys is going to be any good. But we're going
- 0:50Speaker 1: to get into some details about what we are going
- 0:53Speaker 1: to see on this Opposition Territory podcast. We've got our
- 0:56Speaker 1: good buddy from blogandtheboys.com. It's always so great to jump
- 0:59Speaker 1: on for our Opposition Territory shows when we're talking NFL,
- 1:02Speaker 1: talking about the Dallas Cowboys and the NFC East. Our
- 1:05Speaker 1: good friend, RJ Ochoa. My friend, thank you so much
- 1:08Speaker 1: for taking the time here, buddy.
- 1:09Speaker 2: Jeff, great to be with you. As always, I can
- 1:12Speaker 2: verify that you are the longest running. You've been foolish
- 1:14Speaker 2: enough to have me on for many years in this run.
- 1:17Speaker 2: So it's great to see you and great to be
- 1:19Speaker 2: back for another football season.
- 1:20Speaker 1: Yeah, it really is. I guess it's great to have
- 1:22Speaker 1: this football season here because the NFC least here, as
- 1:26Speaker 1: we all know, is really just something else to behold
- 1:29Speaker 1: here in 2026. And I'm just not sure what type
- 1:33Speaker 1: of game we're going to end up seeing with both
- 1:35Speaker 1: of our teams here, RJ, heading into this Monday night matchup.
- 1:39Speaker 1: Both teams just playing this, you know, falling off a
- 1:41Speaker 1: cliff type of football here, given the injuries. given the
- 1:45Speaker 1: challenges that the Philadelphia Eagles have faced over the past
- 1:48Speaker 1: four weeks, and especially as the defense continues to be
- 1:52Speaker 1: on the field way too much, I could actually see
- 1:54Speaker 1: the Eagles winning this game. Yes, I can actually see it. However, however,
- 1:59Speaker 1: and I could also see the Dallas Cowboys saying, okay,
- 2:01Speaker 1: this is the game where we're going to turn things
- 2:04Speaker 1: around and whip the heck out of this Eagles team
- 2:07Speaker 1: in Philadelphia. As we know, and as we've talked about
- 2:10Speaker 1: so many times before, RJ, this is a division rival
- 2:13Speaker 1: game today. where both of these teams need to win
- 2:16Speaker 1: if they're really going to salvage, I think, this season here.
- 2:18Speaker 1: So how do you view this upcoming matchup? Philadelphia Eagles,
- 2:21Speaker 1: Dallas Cowboys. What are your thoughts?
- 2:24Speaker 2: Yeah, I think on paper, there's a lot of reason
- 2:26Speaker 2: to Trust or believe in the Cowboys, right? Like for
- 2:29Speaker 2: all the NFC least things going on, um, that their
- 2:33Speaker 2: greatest asset, their offense is, is, is healthy, right? Is,
- 2:37Speaker 2: is fully active. Is everything that they have going on
- 2:39Speaker 2: should be working, but, but it's not. And so these
- 2:42Speaker 2: last two weeks have been really difficult for the Cowboys. Obviously,
- 2:44Speaker 2: I think that's understood. Um, and, and I'm, I'm picking
- 2:48Speaker 2: the Eagles. I'll, I'll, I'll ruin it right now. Um, just,
- 2:51Speaker 2: and it's really more about protesting the Cowboys with all
- 2:53Speaker 2: due respect. Um, because for all the like, Oh, they should,
- 2:56Speaker 2: of course it's Tanner McKee. Like any, any kind of
- 2:58Speaker 2: like data point you want to throw out, it was
- 3:00Speaker 2: the winless bucks on the road, you know, on a
- 3:02Speaker 2: short week, it was, it was Jalen Daniels, you know,
- 3:04Speaker 2: his second ever start. Um, we've been doing this so long. Um,
- 3:08Speaker 2: I took my son who's been born in the time
- 3:10Speaker 2: that I've been doing your show. That was his first
- 3:11Speaker 2: ever game. So I'm still pissed off that they ruined
- 3:13Speaker 2: that for him.
- 3:14Speaker 1: I remember seeing, I actually watched the video you put
- 3:19Speaker 1: up right after the game where you were like, you
- 3:20Speaker 1: know what? I'm so grateful for the opportunity. I was
- 3:22Speaker 1: able to take my son to this game. You were
- 3:25Speaker 1: trying to salvage some positivity in terms of the personal
- 3:28Speaker 1: for you. But when it comes to the Cowboys, you
- 3:30Speaker 1: were just like, man, this team, forget it. Yeah.
- 3:33Speaker 2: And so I think I would have, it's, it's so
- 3:36Speaker 2: sad to say if they had lost to Green Bay,
- 3:37Speaker 2: but showed some fight, you know, we would have kind
- 3:39Speaker 2: of been like, okay, you had the week and a half,
- 3:41Speaker 2: you turned around, you just ran into a good team, whatever.
- 3:43Speaker 2: I don't even know what I think of Green Bay,
- 3:44Speaker 2: but right now there's so there's literally no reason to
- 3:47Speaker 2: trust the Cowboys. They have to earn it back from
- 3:48Speaker 2: you right now. So.
- 3:50Speaker 1: It is tough. It is tense.
- 3:52Speaker 2: Brian Schottenheimer is under incredible fire. Dak Prescott's not playing
- 3:56Speaker 2: well at the moment. And Christian Parker, who might be
- 4:00Speaker 2: a double agent for the Eagles, obviously, has not improved
- 4:04Speaker 2: things at all, which is crazy given what he started with.
- 4:07Speaker 1: Yeah. And I take a look at, you know, with
- 4:10Speaker 1: Brian Schottenheimer being on the hot seat, of course, Nick
- 4:12Speaker 1: Sirianni is on the hot seat as well. And this
- 4:16Speaker 1: is just two teams that are in that stage of
- 4:20Speaker 1: Where do they go from here? Really, where do they
- 4:22Speaker 1: go from here? What path, what direction are they going
- 4:25Speaker 1: to end up taking? And in terms of that, it's
- 4:27Speaker 1: a good segue because we talk about strengths and weaknesses
- 4:30Speaker 1: on all these teams, especially that the Eagles are going
- 4:33Speaker 1: to be facing. And with the Cowboys this coming week,
- 4:36Speaker 1: let's get into the biggest strength on this Cowboys team.
- 4:39Speaker 1: What do you think that is and what do we
- 4:41Speaker 1: need to be looking out for?
- 4:43Speaker 2: I think it is Dak Prescott, CD lame and George Pickens.
- 4:46Speaker 2: You know, it's been off obviously as of late, but that,
- 4:49Speaker 2: that is the straw that has stirred their drink as
- 4:52Speaker 2: of late last season, really throughout the Dak Prescott era.
- 4:55Speaker 2: I know Eagles fans don't enjoy this, but Dak has
- 4:57Speaker 2: generally thrived against Philadelphia as well. So I certainly would
- 5:01Speaker 2: lean into that both, you know, modern times and, and,
- 5:04Speaker 2: and historically. And so But that's kind of what has
- 5:07Speaker 2: sunk them these last two weeks, that their greatest strength
- 5:09Speaker 2: is now falling flat. And so now you're unable to
- 5:11Speaker 2: carry all the elements around you. So it's a tough
- 5:14Speaker 2: moment to ask what their greatest strength is. But on
- 5:17Speaker 2: the season as a whole, that's the thing you can
- 5:18Speaker 2: most hang your hat on.
- 5:19Speaker 1: And we're going to get into Dak in just a
- 5:21Speaker 1: bit here before we end up going to our break.
- 5:24Speaker 1: But let's flip the coin here. What is the biggest
- 5:26Speaker 1: weakness on the Dallas Cowboys? Now, I'm going to be
- 5:29Speaker 1: really interested to hear what your response is going to
- 5:31Speaker 1: be here. Because if somebody asked me, in terms of
- 5:33Speaker 1: the Philadelphia Eagles, these two teams have so many similarities
- 5:37Speaker 1: in terms of the weaknesses. They really do.
- 5:40Speaker 2: Where are you going with the biggest weakness on this team?
- 5:43Speaker 2: I would say third down defense specifically. And I think
- 5:48Speaker 2: some of that is like, they just, how could they
- 5:51Speaker 2: believe in themselves? You know what I mean? Like, and
- 5:53Speaker 2: so I think when, you know, there is, um, an
- 5:55Speaker 2: elephant in the room that emerges after they hold on
- 5:57Speaker 2: second down. So it's like, and I would offer that
- 5:59Speaker 2: like the, the more improbable it is, the more nervous
- 6:03Speaker 2: everybody is. So it's like third, third and 17, like
- 6:05Speaker 2: nobody is able to like relax. Cause everyone is like,
- 6:08Speaker 2: oh man, are we going to give it up again?
- 6:10Speaker 2: You know what I mean? And so I think that
- 6:12Speaker 2: lack of confidence, that lack of conviction that they're playing with,
- 6:15Speaker 2: that absent factor on defense is certainly, you know, where
- 6:19Speaker 2: they're most vulnerable right now. We've seen so many teams,
- 6:21Speaker 2: you know, all season long really capitalize on that. And
- 6:24Speaker 2: that makes things more difficult for the offense because now
- 6:26Speaker 2: you have to play aggressive and you have to get
- 6:28Speaker 2: out of script and things like that. So shout out
- 6:30Speaker 2: Christian Parker again. Thanks to you guys.
- 6:33Speaker 1: Look, I wasn't planning on asking you, but you're talking
- 6:35Speaker 1: about third down. In terms of the Cowboys, the Philadelphia
- 6:38Speaker 1: Eagles just cannot seem to convert on third down ever,
- 6:43Speaker 1: especially in the second half. It's an ongoing theme. As
- 6:47Speaker 1: somebody on the outside, yes, you do follow what goes
- 6:49Speaker 1: on with the NFC East specifically and other teams. Why
- 6:53Speaker 1: do you think this is from an outsider's perspective?
- 6:57Speaker 2: I mean everything I'm about to say truly in the
- 6:59Speaker 2: most respectful way possible. And I mean it from a
- 7:02Speaker 2: point of serious admiration. I think the Eagles in the
- 7:05Speaker 2: Nick Sirianni era– have become masters of the margins and
- 7:09Speaker 2: masters of plucking the low hanging fruit.
- 7:12Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 7:13Speaker 2: Whatever that has been from time to time and capitalizing
- 7:15Speaker 2: on that, the tush push is a great like microcosm
- 7:18Speaker 2: of all of this.
- 7:18Speaker 1: I think that's fair. Yeah.
- 7:20Speaker 2: And so I think that. times have just changed. And
- 7:24Speaker 2: I think that there's no shame in that, like, dude,
- 7:26Speaker 2: it was a hell of a run. And we just,
- 7:28Speaker 2: you know, you can't find those margins anymore. You know,
- 7:31Speaker 2: you don't have the personnel to find them anymore. And
- 7:33Speaker 2: so everyone shake hands and feel proud of what you
- 7:36Speaker 2: did and what you accomplished and the banner that hangs.
- 7:38Speaker 2: But I think that it's just everyone's kind of at
- 7:40Speaker 2: the end of their collective rope.
- 7:41Speaker 1: Yeah, I think that's a great, fair assessment, to be honest.
- 7:44Speaker 1: And I told you we were going to get into
- 7:47Speaker 1: Dak Prescott a little bit more And I really want
- 7:50Speaker 1: to assess where he is at right now, because I
- 7:52Speaker 1: think it's safe to say after all these years, RJ,
- 7:54Speaker 1: and you've been coming on this podcast talking about this
- 7:57Speaker 1: particular quarterback for some time now, Dak Prescott can't get
- 8:01Speaker 1: it done alone. We know that here at this point.
- 8:05Speaker 1: He's tried time and time again to put this team
- 8:07Speaker 1: on his shoulders over the years. Many times, I think unfairly,
- 8:11Speaker 1: he shouldn't have had to do that. How are you
- 8:15Speaker 1: viewing Dak Prescott here in 2026 with what is in
- 8:18Speaker 1: front of him, the challenges facing this offense at times,
- 8:22Speaker 1: especially recently, and as he's heading into week seven against
- 8:25Speaker 1: this Philadelphia Eagles defense?
- 8:28Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, I was somebody who pushed back on
- 8:30Speaker 2: the overall claim that the offense would be just fine
- 8:33Speaker 2: and that it would kind of keep status quo and
- 8:35Speaker 2: that the defense just had to be average and everything
- 8:38Speaker 2: would work out because regression to the mean works in
- 8:40Speaker 2: both directions. You can't just say, oh, I think the
- 8:43Speaker 2: offense will be– it'll just be better. They'll just build
- 8:45Speaker 2: on top of this and the defense will catch up.
- 8:48Speaker 2: I think that Dak has been phenomenal over the course
- 8:50Speaker 2: of his career, to your point, but I think these
- 8:52Speaker 2: last few years specifically– he's, he's, you know, amazingly been
- 8:56Speaker 2: so consistent, so consistently kind of top five, top three
- 8:59Speaker 2: at times, you know, really playing like one of the
- 9:01Speaker 2: best quarterbacks in the NFL and the bottom comes out
- 9:04Speaker 2: and the Shakespearean tragedy of it all is that particular
- 9:07Speaker 2: level of his play coincided with the front office willfully
- 9:11Speaker 2: sabotaging everything and acting toxic and acting silly. And I,
- 9:14Speaker 2: you know, last week was such a great example. I
- 9:16Speaker 2: think And everybody thought, oh, he'll dominate Jonathan Gannon because
- 9:19Speaker 2: of past games against the Eagles. But Jonathan Gannon in
- 9:22Speaker 2: Arizona owned Dak Prescott. And there are every every quarterback
- 9:25Speaker 2: has kryptonite and Jonathan Gannon, you know, D'Amico Ryan's the
- 9:29Speaker 2: 49ers kind of dudes. Those those have always presented issues
- 9:31Speaker 2: for Dak. And he just doesn't you mentioned the help.
- 9:34Speaker 2: He doesn't have that that play caller that can play
- 9:36Speaker 2: the chess game back. And so, I mean, he's he
- 9:39Speaker 2: might be the queen on the board, but like he's
- 9:41Speaker 2: one piece and there's no like grandmaster executing the moves.
- 9:44Speaker 2: And so I think these last two weeks have really
- 9:48Speaker 2: forced a bit of a reckoning for people wondering if
- 9:50Speaker 2: they move on from Brian Schottenheimer, which I doubt they will,
- 9:52Speaker 2: because that's not their style. Do you move on from Dak?
- 9:55Speaker 2: Do you reset like you're you might be at the
- 9:57Speaker 2: end of that rope to the point that like you
- 9:59Speaker 2: just can't like the timelines are no longer matching up
- 10:01Speaker 2: and that's a difficult kind of conversation to start having.
- 10:04Speaker 1: Yeah it's going to be interesting to see what happens
- 10:05Speaker 1: with this Cowboys team not just in this season but
- 10:09Speaker 1: as we think about where they go within this NFC
- 10:11Speaker 1: East into the future. Folks, we're going to take a break.
- 10:14Speaker 1: When we get back, we've got more matchup talk coming
- 10:17Speaker 1: your way. Philadelphia Eagles, Dallas Cowboys, Monday night. Stick with us.
- 10:24Speaker 1: All right, we're back with our buddy RJ Ochoa from bloggingtheboys.com.
- 10:28Speaker 1: I know you're doing some podcasting out there as well.
- 10:30Speaker 1: Let everybody know where they can find you online, my man.
- 10:32Speaker 2: Yeah, Brandon Gallant and I, I know Brandon is a
- 10:35Speaker 2: great friend of yours as well. The powers that be
- 10:39Speaker 2: restarted our NFC's mixtape this season. And so in conjunction
- 10:42Speaker 2: with the SB Nation app, which is available for Apple
- 10:45Speaker 2: and Android devices, great levels of community, obviously. And so
- 10:49Speaker 2: BLG and I do it twice a week. We actually today,
- 10:51Speaker 2: the day you and I are recording, we did episode
- 10:53Speaker 2: 200 of the NFC's mixtape.
- 10:55Speaker 1: Very nice. Very nice. Yeah, the SB Nation app, folks,
- 10:57Speaker 1: great app. One of our good friends who helps run
- 11:00Speaker 1: SB Nation, Mark Schofield, was on last week. as we
- 11:02Speaker 1: were talking some college ball, and he was promoing the app.
- 11:06Speaker 1: It's a great app, really. It's just a lot of
- 11:09Speaker 1: great information. It's easy to use, too. There's not a
- 11:11Speaker 1: lot of crap in there. So SB Nation app, my friend.
- 11:14Speaker 1: So as we're looking towards week seven, this matchup, Philadelphia Eagles,
- 11:19Speaker 1: Dallas Cowboys, I want to talk about these Cowboys receivers
- 11:23Speaker 1: because the Cowboys have pretty darn good wide receivers, and
- 11:26Speaker 1: going up against an Eagles secondary that has been playing
- 11:29Speaker 1: relatively well, this season. They're one of the bright spots,
- 11:33Speaker 1: one of very few bright spots on the Philadelphia Eagles
- 11:35Speaker 1: right now. How do you see the Cowboys receivers really
- 11:38Speaker 1: matching up with this Eagles secondary, RJ?
- 11:41Speaker 2: Yeah, I think that the pressure that's been affecting Dak
- 11:44Speaker 2: as of late has really affected and impacted their ability
- 11:47Speaker 2: to work. And so these last two games, Dak has
- 11:50Speaker 2: thrown short of the sticks 60% of the time in
- 11:54Speaker 2: both of these games, which is pretty rare for him.
- 11:56Speaker 2: And these top two receivers, at least, CeeDee Lamb and
- 12:00Speaker 2: George Pickens, do most of their damage, most of their
- 12:02Speaker 2: lethal damage, deeper down the field. And so that just
- 12:04Speaker 2: hasn't come together yet. Ryan Flannoy who a lot of
- 12:07Speaker 2: people are kind of hip to now it's a second
- 12:09Speaker 2: NFL season uh he's been the guy who's kind of
- 12:11Speaker 2: benefiting from that underneath stuff that short of the stick
- 12:14Speaker 2: stuff um I really you know obviously Christian Parker's no
- 12:18Speaker 2: longer you know coaching the Eagles secondary and so these
- 12:22Speaker 2: are matchups that have always been great where I've always
- 12:24Speaker 2: trusted the Cowboys receivers to kind of win even if
- 12:26Speaker 2: it was CD and Michael Gallup or CD and Amari
- 12:28Speaker 2: Cooper but But the Eagles are much more talented right now.
- 12:31Speaker 2: And so I do think this is a more difficult battle,
- 12:34Speaker 2: maybe arguably the most difficult the Cowboys receivers have had
- 12:37Speaker 2: from a matchup standpoint, one-on-one. So when you combine that
- 12:40Speaker 2: with the level of pressure that I'm sure Vic Fangio
- 12:42Speaker 2: will be able to kind of dial up, I don't
- 12:44Speaker 2: know that I feel great about that. I don't know
- 12:46Speaker 2: that this is– I'm sure you're aware of Gotti and
- 12:49Speaker 2: everything that that is.
- 12:50Speaker 1: So I don't know.
- 12:50Speaker 2: It's a horrible thing. That's the worst thing to ever
- 12:53Speaker 2: exist for us. But I don't know that this is
- 12:55Speaker 2: a Gotti-level game for the Dallas Cubs.
- 12:57Speaker 1: Right. All right, well, moving into the next matchup here,
- 13:01Speaker 1: every week I like to talk about how critical the
- 13:04Speaker 1: trenches are. We know that. If you don't have a
- 13:07Speaker 1: solid offensive line, you're not going to be able to
- 13:08Speaker 1: do anything on offense. If you don't have a solid
- 13:10Speaker 1: defensive front, an offense is just going to absolutely march
- 13:14Speaker 1: all over you. And look, the Cowboys' offensive line against
- 13:17Speaker 1: the Eagles' defensive line in defensive front is certainly going
- 13:21Speaker 1: to be an interesting matchup, I think. Byrd's defensive front
- 13:24Speaker 1: has been disruptive as of late, but they're not getting home.
- 13:29Speaker 1: And it's something that's been frustrating for us Eagles fans. Yes,
- 13:32Speaker 1: sacks are not necessarily everything, but I would like to
- 13:34Speaker 1: see some sack numbers from this Philadelphia Eagles defensive line
- 13:38Speaker 1: in the pass rush. Again, they've been able to get
- 13:41Speaker 1: pressure that's needed in Vic Fangio's style of defense here.
- 13:45Speaker 1: So how do you see this matchup really manifesting itself, RJ,
- 13:49Speaker 1: this Monday night? just this offensive line of the Cowboys
- 13:52Speaker 1: going up against the Eagles defensive front?
- 13:55Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't like the matchup for Dallas, to be
- 13:57Speaker 2: honest with you. Again, partly because of Vic Fangio and
- 14:00Speaker 2: the levers that he's able to pull.
- 14:02Speaker 1: You know, it's strange.
- 14:03Speaker 2: Tyler Smith missed the first four games of the season
- 14:06Speaker 2: with a thumb injury, and he's been back. Many people
- 14:08Speaker 2: believe the best interior lineman in the NFL, and those
- 14:11Speaker 2: are the two games they've lost. I would say, you know,
- 14:13Speaker 2: the offensive line features maybe the biggest surprise this season
- 14:16Speaker 2: in Tyler Guyton, who's next to Tyler Smith at left tackle.
- 14:19Speaker 2: A lot of people had really given up on him,
- 14:21Speaker 2: and he's really turned a corner, and that's been great.
- 14:23Speaker 2: But that still hasn't helped. I mean, beyond the fact
- 14:25Speaker 2: that Dak has been pressured at an inordinate rate the
- 14:27Speaker 2: last two weeks, the Cowboys have really failed to get
- 14:29Speaker 2: the ground game going. They haven't been running the ball
- 14:31Speaker 2: well at all this season. Javante has seven touchdowns, but
- 14:35Speaker 2: they're really kind of short yardage goal line situations.
- 14:39Speaker 1: It is suspect.
- 14:40Speaker 2: It is weaker than I think meets the eye or
- 14:42Speaker 2: less sturdy than maybe your eye would have you believe.
- 14:45Speaker 2: And so it's definitely an area that I think you
- 14:47Speaker 2: can exploit. And I think that's where the game has
- 14:49Speaker 2: been lost for the Cowboys is opposing fronts have really
- 14:51Speaker 2: been able to thwart them and get to Dak. And
- 14:53Speaker 2: obviously there's a domino effect from that point.
- 14:55Speaker 1: Yeah. Well, buddy, before I let you go here, every
- 14:59Speaker 1: week on our Opposition Territory podcast, we like to get
- 15:02Speaker 1: into sneaky players for us Eagles fans to watch. And
- 15:05Speaker 1: it'll be interesting to get your take here on sneaky
- 15:09Speaker 1: players in the offense and defense with regard to Dallas
- 15:12Speaker 1: Cowboys here. Let's start with the sneaky player for us
- 15:15Speaker 1: to look out for on the Cowboys offense this week.
- 15:17Speaker 1: Who do you think that sneaky player may be? I
- 15:20Speaker 1: know you're a big 10 man.
- 15:21Speaker 2: So you are familiar with the work of Jake Ferguson, but, uh,
- 15:24Speaker 2: really kind of fallen out of favor, uh, with Cowboys fans.
- 15:27Speaker 2: And last week they made a bit of a change
- 15:29Speaker 2: in Brevin span Ford. Who's technically their second tight end
- 15:33Speaker 2: has started to receive a lion's share of work, uh,
- 15:35Speaker 2: ESF for short. Um, so Brevin span Ford, I think
- 15:39Speaker 2: is the name that, you know, may not be as,
- 15:40Speaker 2: as in your, your fantasy football leagues that you might
- 15:43Speaker 2: be surprised by, uh, on defense.
- 15:45Speaker 1: Um, uh, it's tough.
- 15:47Speaker 2: I mean, this is a really difficult question to be
- 15:50Speaker 2: quite honest with you. I mean, he's kind of had
- 15:53Speaker 2: an up and down season, but I would say a
- 15:54Speaker 2: name to know, maybe not for this week or season.
- 15:58Speaker 2: Jay Sean Barham, the Cowboys third round pick from Michigan,
- 16:00Speaker 2: also a big 10 man. You know, somebody who people
- 16:04Speaker 2: thought could somewhat play a bit of a Jalen Phillips
- 16:07Speaker 2: role in the Cowboys, the Christian Parker, you know, common denominator,
- 16:10Speaker 2: obviously he's had moments. He was incredible in the Ravens loss, but,
- 16:14Speaker 2: but last week he got kind of pushed around a bit.
- 16:16Speaker 2: And so, I will say also on the last Big
- 16:18Speaker 2: Ten point, Caleb Downs has not had the defensive rookie
- 16:22Speaker 2: of the year start to his season that we all anticipate.
- 16:25Speaker 2: Maybe our expectations were too wild, but I think he
- 16:27Speaker 2: was a player deserving of that hype. And maybe Christian
- 16:30Speaker 2: Parker is just that terrible, but he's kind of been
- 16:32Speaker 2: rather invisible in both good and negative ways.
- 16:35Speaker 1: Yeah. All right. Very good. Fantastic preview show. Folks, he
- 16:39Speaker 1: is RJ Ochoa. Bloggingtheboys.com, the NFC East Mixtape Podcast Network.

- 16:55Speaker 2: Of course, Jeff, thanks for having me best of the
- 16:57Speaker 2: fam and hope the Sixers lose to the Spurs in
- 17:00Speaker 2: the NBA.
- 17:00Speaker 1: Oh my gosh. I got to tell you right now.
- 17:02Speaker 1: That's my pick. We did our season preview show. We
- 17:05Speaker 1: did our it's Sixers season preview show this week. We
- 17:08Speaker 1: just uploaded it today and I've got the Spurs and
- 17:11Speaker 1: the Sixers. Oh wait, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Eric had
- 17:15Speaker 1: the Spurs and the Sixers, I think. And he's got
- 17:16Speaker 1: the Spurs winning. And I got OKC against the Sixers.
- 17:20Speaker 1: Sixers winning it all. This went well for most of this. Yes.
- 17:24Speaker 2: Hey, everyone makes mistakes.
- 17:26Speaker 1: Exactly. Buddy, thanks again for jumping on. I appreciate you. Thanks, Jeff.
