- 0:08Speaker 1: Well, hey, now episode four here of the Rogue Recap.
- 0:11Speaker 1: I'm your host, Lynda McLachlin, and we are here for
- 0:15Speaker 1: yet another day of insanity. I have some real doozies today, folks.
- 0:19Speaker 1: I thought yesterday was crazy, but today's pretty bad. There's,
- 0:23Speaker 1: first of all, there's no shortage of lunatics and it's funny.
- 0:28Speaker 1: I saw something else on X like, oh, it must
- 0:31Speaker 1: be like a slower news day because we're waiting for
- 0:33Speaker 1: Trump's announcement and we're waiting for this, and we're waiting
- 0:35Speaker 1: for that. And I was like, Yeah, I don't know
- 0:38Speaker 1: what you people are talking about. There is so much
- 0:41Speaker 1: going on and we're going to try to get to
- 0:44Speaker 1: some of it today. And I really hope that you
- 0:48Speaker 1: guys are enjoying the show again. I would love to
- 0:51Speaker 1: know what you want to hear about. So please, if
- 0:53Speaker 1: you are listening to this podcast and you have something
- 0:56Speaker 1: that's driving you nuts where you feel like is not
- 0:59Speaker 1: getting the properach, give me a hot tip on social media. Say, Linda,
- 1:04Speaker 1: I need you to talk about this. Nobody is talking
- 1:06Speaker 1: about it, and it can't be you know, your nine
- 1:08Speaker 1: year old nephew's birthday party. There's a reason nobody's talking
- 1:11Speaker 1: about that except the people in your family. Well kidding aside,
- 1:14Speaker 1: you know, I really I would love to know what's
- 1:16Speaker 1: getting under your skin, and I hope that I'm touching
- 1:18Speaker 1: on some of those issues. For example, today we're going
- 1:22Speaker 1: to talk about a gentleman by the name of Sam
- 1:25Speaker 1: Soko or Soka, I'm not sure. He's a King County
- 1:29Speaker 1: public defender, and he was reportedly one of the individuals
- 1:33Speaker 1: arrested during the Antifa protests at the University of Washington.
- 1:38Speaker 1: So let's just unpack that for a hot second. There's
- 1:41Speaker 1: an oath you take when you become a lawyer, a judge,
- 1:45Speaker 1: someone who is a purveyor of the law. Right you
- 1:47Speaker 1: are upholding the law. You are helping people defend themselves
- 1:53Speaker 1: when they are being wrongly accused of breaking the law.
- 1:56Speaker 1: And to be a public defender paid by tax payer dollars.
- 2:02Speaker 1: And then to be a part of Antifa, which really
- 2:06Speaker 1: should just be a domestic terrorist group and let's just
- 2:08Speaker 1: be done with it already. But you're a member of
- 2:11Speaker 1: Antifa and you're protesting with them at a university. They're
- 2:15Speaker 1: setting things on fire, they are causing police officers to retreat.
- 2:20Speaker 1: This is where you think that you should be spending
- 2:23Speaker 1: your free time. During the day, I'm going to be
- 2:26Speaker 1: this public defender, but at night, I mean talk about
- 2:29Speaker 1: Jackal Hyde. I hope that this guy is going to
- 2:31Speaker 1: be arrested. But I mean I saw this today on Exena.
- 2:34Speaker 1: I was like, hat tipped to libs of TikTok. That's
- 2:36Speaker 1: your constitutionally protected right to peacefully protest. But when you
- 2:40Speaker 1: go out and you cover your face and you wear
- 2:43Speaker 1: like hats and masks and mendannas and you that's not
- 2:46Speaker 1: being brave. That's you're a coward. It's so absurd that
- 2:51Speaker 1: these people think that they have a right to go
- 2:53Speaker 1: in and hurt people that are just working and obstruct
- 2:57Speaker 1: people that are just going about their day or going
- 3:00Speaker 1: about their business. And now they can't because you're not
- 3:03Speaker 1: doing a peaceful protest. You're doing a violent and dangerous protest.
- 3:07Speaker 1: And as a public defender, it's disgusting that you think
- 3:10Speaker 1: you have. I mean, my God, of all people, you
- 3:13Speaker 1: should know, I'm really kind of done with this holy
- 3:15Speaker 1: Antifa movement thing. It's really more about just being a
- 3:19Speaker 1: part of a group, right, Like, go join a club,
- 3:22Speaker 1: do you like books, Go join a book club. Do
- 3:24Speaker 1: you like to play chess? Go play chess, Go do
- 3:27Speaker 1: something with your time. Volunteer at a shelter. There are
- 3:30Speaker 1: so many animals that could use some love and a
- 3:32Speaker 1: walk or whatever. Why are you joining this group that
- 3:36Speaker 1: wants to go out and destroy everything. Nobody believes in
- 3:40Speaker 1: your cause, but other lunatics like you. And so at
- 3:44Speaker 1: the end of the day, you're not gonna get a
- 3:46Speaker 1: whole lot done, and you're not gonna get a whole
- 3:48Speaker 1: lot achieved because you're not doing in a constructive way. Period.
- 3:52Speaker 1: End of sentence. Anyways, So this guy, I'm gonna try
- 3:56Speaker 1: and say his name again, Sam Suoca. I think that's it,
- 4:00Speaker 1: Sue Oka, this guy King County public defender. Let's follow him, right,
- 4:06Speaker 1: Let's make sure that this guy doesn't continue to be
- 4:08Speaker 1: a public defender. I mean, I guess he won't be
- 4:10Speaker 1: right because he's gonna be too busy defending himself because
- 4:13Speaker 1: he's a moron. And then here's another great story that
- 4:17Speaker 1: happened today Salt Lake City. Salt Lake City has approved
- 4:23Speaker 1: three new flags so that they can get around Utah's
- 4:27Speaker 1: ban on pride flags. So this is like the quick
- 4:31Speaker 1: summary that I read in the paper today. The city's
- 4:34Speaker 1: new three flags will mix the existing Salt Lake City
- 4:39Speaker 1: flag design with elements of flags celebrating various communities that
- 4:44Speaker 1: were barred from being flown at public buildings. Basically, we're
- 4:48Speaker 1: redoing all of the flags that are flown in their
- 4:52Speaker 1: government buildings so that they can fly a Pride flag
- 4:56Speaker 1: because they want to be inclusive of all people. Do
- 5:00Speaker 1: you know what flag represents all of us? Because I
- 5:04Speaker 1: have an idea, it's the American flag. If you are
- 5:07Speaker 1: an American citizen, first of all, you better be so thankful.
- 5:11Speaker 1: We are so blessed to live in America. And if
- 5:14Speaker 1: you've traveled outside of the United States, you know how
- 5:17Speaker 1: true that is. But I think most people they don't
- 5:20Speaker 1: realize how lucky they are, and they like to make
- 5:23Speaker 1: stupid comments about fascism and communism and Trump is a
- 5:29Speaker 1: Nazi and all. It's utter nonsense. And again I go
- 5:33Speaker 1: back to my comments from yesterday's show, which is, I'm
- 5:36Speaker 1: so sick of people saying things that have literally zero
- 5:40Speaker 1: and I do mean zero basis in anything factual. It's
- 5:45Speaker 1: just your opinion. But if you go to people and
- 5:47Speaker 1: you say, well, why do you hate capitalism? What do
- 5:50Speaker 1: you hate about it, h they don't know. Or if
- 5:55Speaker 1: you go to people that are at these new protests
- 5:57Speaker 1: right against Elon Musk and Doze or Trump or medicaid
- 6:00Speaker 1: or whatever, and they're out there, you know, every day,
- 6:03Speaker 1: all over the country. Have you noticed a few things
- 6:06Speaker 1: about these people, because I know I have, and it's
- 6:08Speaker 1: super weird. First of all, they're all older. They are
- 6:11Speaker 1: all older. It's very very odd. I'm talking like sixties seventies,
- 6:17Speaker 1: and they're holding up these signs. And when you go
- 6:20Speaker 1: up to them and you say, why are you here today?
- 6:21Speaker 1: What are you protesting? They have to pull out a
- 6:24Speaker 1: piece of paper and they read off that piece of
- 6:26Speaker 1: paper and I'm like, wait a minute. You are so
- 6:29Speaker 1: committed to this action, to this messaging that you are
- 6:35Speaker 1: a part of today, that you decided to take a
- 6:37Speaker 1: part of your day, especially a Saturday or Sunday when
- 6:40Speaker 1: you're off, you if you work, and you know you
- 6:42Speaker 1: have the weekends off, so you you're not working today,
- 6:46Speaker 1: but you're out and you're protesting with this group of
- 6:49Speaker 1: lunatics for whatever the cause is. But when I ask you,
- 6:52Speaker 1: why are you here? Why is this so important to you?
- 6:55Speaker 1: What matters to you? You have to take out a
- 6:57Speaker 1: piece of paper and read it. I mean, come on,
- 7:00Speaker 1: what's going on? Who is paying for all of this?
- 7:02Speaker 1: I mean many people have said it's George Soros, and
- 7:05Speaker 1: I certainly wouldn't put it past him. I mean him
- 7:07Speaker 1: and his son Alex. And they're looped into Huma Aberdeen,
- 7:10Speaker 1: who is now engaged to George Soros's son Alex, and
- 7:13Speaker 1: she obviously is former chief of staff for Clinton and
- 7:16Speaker 1: the Clinton Foundation, and she has ties back to the
- 7:19Speaker 1: Islamic Brotherhood. And I could go on and on and
- 7:22Speaker 1: on and on about all of the various people that
- 7:25Speaker 1: are involved. I just know that they have chartered buses,
- 7:30Speaker 1: prepared signs, and they have groups of people that have
- 7:34Speaker 1: nothing better to do but stand out there for hours
- 7:36Speaker 1: on end. But when you go up to them and
- 7:39Speaker 1: you ask them what matters to you? Why are you here?
- 7:41Speaker 1: They can't tell you. You know what that tells me.
- 7:44Speaker 1: They don't know because they don't care. They're just getting paid.
- 7:47Speaker 1: So now we have this Utah ban on pride flags,
- 7:51Speaker 1: and the legislative body in Salt Lake City has decided
- 7:54Speaker 1: that they're going to get around it in Salt Lake
- 7:56Speaker 1: City and they are going to put these Pride flags
- 7:59Speaker 1: up because everybody needs to feel safe, and everybody needs
- 8:03Speaker 1: to be included, and everybody needs to be represented. When
- 8:06Speaker 1: did this happen that you need to be represented? When
- 8:08Speaker 1: did this happen that everybody needs and everybody wants and
- 8:11Speaker 1: everybody has it? No, they don't. We have one flag,
- 8:14Speaker 1: it's the American flag, and we fly it. That's it.
- 8:16Speaker 1: You want to put flags up in your house with
- 8:19Speaker 1: flowers that have special meetings to you. You want to
- 8:21Speaker 1: put it on your car, on your keychain, on your
- 8:24Speaker 1: rear view mirroric, go for it. Knock yourself out. But
- 8:27Speaker 1: why does an entire city have to have a giant
- 8:31Speaker 1: flag because of you know, whatever your thing is today.
- 8:36Speaker 1: It's absurd and not for nothing. There's nothing in the flag,
- 8:41Speaker 1: Like if we have a Pride flag and then we
- 8:44Speaker 1: have two other flags, so three flags, that's all we
- 8:46Speaker 1: need to cover all of the people. They all feel
- 8:48Speaker 1: represented now in Salt Lake City, of course not it's nonsense.
- 8:53Speaker 1: But this is what they're telling you, right, that the
- 8:55Speaker 1: Pride flag being roped in is what will make it
- 8:58Speaker 1: all encompassing. And it's just not true. But it's an agenda.
- 9:02Speaker 1: It's an agenda. That they have to keep pushing and
- 9:04Speaker 1: that they have to say that the American flag is
- 9:06Speaker 1: not inclusive, the American flag does not represent all of us. Well,
- 9:10Speaker 1: if that's true, and you don't feel that the American
- 9:14Speaker 1: flag is representing you, and you don't feel that your
- 9:16Speaker 1: voice is heard, then why don't you go and live
- 9:19Speaker 1: in another country and see how much they care about
- 9:23Speaker 1: your individual voice. Go ahead, I dare you, In fact,
- 9:27Speaker 1: I'll pay for you to go. Just go, and the
- 9:30Speaker 1: only condition is that you don't come back, because I've
- 9:33Speaker 1: had just about enough of I need to be seen,
- 9:36Speaker 1: I need to be recognized. It's like, no, that's not
- 9:38Speaker 1: what it is, this whole thing with Salt Lake City.
- 9:41Speaker 1: I got to tell you, Salt Lake, I'm very disappointed.
- 9:43Speaker 1: And I just can't believe that the American flag, that
- 9:46Speaker 1: beautiful flag, is not enough. I really I just struggle
- 9:50Speaker 1: with this. I just you know what is missing in
- 9:52Speaker 1: your life that this is what you did today for
- 9:54Speaker 1: your taxpayers. Just give me a break. And you know,
- 9:57Speaker 1: you look at these people here in New York City
- 9:59Speaker 1: protesting the whole Free Palestine movement, and they're still at
- 10:02Speaker 1: Columbia University, and they're over at Cornell, and they're at
- 10:06Speaker 1: all of the QUNI schools. It's disgusting. And they're all
- 10:10Speaker 1: in the caffes and they're wearing these scarves and they've
- 10:14Speaker 1: got glasses on and masks on, and you can't see
- 10:17Speaker 1: who they are. They're blocking their face at every turn.
- 10:20Speaker 1: Why are they doing that? Why are you blocking your face?
- 10:23Speaker 1: You're so committed to this effort, you're so committed to
- 10:27Speaker 1: what you're doing, and why you're there blocking streets, not
- 10:30Speaker 1: allowing Jewish students to get into class, making these disgusting
- 10:34Speaker 1: and horrific comments to Jewish students and Christian students who
- 10:38Speaker 1: dare to go to school and get the education that
- 10:42Speaker 1: they paid for, the same education that a lot of
- 10:44Speaker 1: these druks are getting for free because they're here on
- 10:46Speaker 1: student visas, foreign visas. They're getting their educations paid for
- 10:49Speaker 1: by the university, and they're funding and their donors, and
- 10:53Speaker 1: they still think they deserve federal funding, which is absurd.
- 10:56Speaker 1: But now we had today these masked invaders at the
- 11:00Speaker 1: Columbia Library. The security at the school blocked all of
- 11:04Speaker 1: the exits. So if you were there and you were
- 11:07Speaker 1: causing a ruckus in the Columbia School library today and
- 11:12Speaker 1: other students couldn't study and couldn't prepare for finals and
- 11:16Speaker 1: other things like that here at the end of the semester,
- 11:19Speaker 1: because you decided that you wanted to come in and
- 11:21Speaker 1: talk about free Palestine and where your stupid scarves and
- 11:25Speaker 1: where your stupid bandan is and carry your stupid signs.
- 11:28Speaker 1: You don't know what you're talking about. First of all,
- 11:31Speaker 1: I mean, ask any of these protesters when you say
- 11:34Speaker 1: from the river to the sea, what does it mean?
- 11:38Speaker 1: What river? What sea? And what does it mean? They
- 11:42Speaker 1: don't know. They have no idea. If you say to them,
- 11:47Speaker 1: what is it that happened to Palestine? What offense did
- 11:50Speaker 1: Israel do that? Now you think they deserve to die,
- 11:56Speaker 1: They deserve to never have freedom, and they are the oppressors,
- 12:01Speaker 1: and Palestine is a victim. What a load of horse shit.
- 12:04Speaker 1: Give me a break. You know, I've been to Israel
- 12:07Speaker 1: three or four times, both in wartime and in peacetime,
- 12:11Speaker 1: and I can tell you as somebody who has been
- 12:13Speaker 1: to the West Bank and been to Gaza, Israel is
- 12:15Speaker 1: not the aggressor by any stretch. They are not. Most
- 12:20Speaker 1: of them are living in Kabbutza's. They're praying they're doing
- 12:22Speaker 1: their thing. They have absolutely no desire to have any
- 12:27Speaker 1: interaction whatsoever with the Palestinian people on the other side
- 12:30Speaker 1: of the West Bank. But they are firing rockets every
- 12:34Speaker 1: single day, so much so that their kids have to
- 12:37Speaker 1: be in underground playgrounds. If you go into the town
- 12:40Speaker 1: of State of Road, or if you go into Ashkalan,
- 12:42Speaker 1: or you go to Soroka University Hospital and you talk
- 12:45Speaker 1: to people, they'll tell you what's going on on the border,
- 12:48Speaker 1: but you have to actually go there and see it
- 12:50Speaker 1: for yourself. So when these people go into these universities
- 12:55Speaker 1: and they walk around with their Palestinian flags and they're
- 12:58Speaker 1: carrying all of the paraphernalia of Hama, and you say
- 13:01Speaker 1: to them, what does it mean when you say from
- 13:04Speaker 1: the river to the sea, Palestine will be free, because
- 13:07Speaker 1: the area between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea
- 13:11Speaker 1: would wipe out Israel. So is that what you want?
- 13:13Speaker 1: Are you the next hitler? Is that what you're saying?
- 13:16Speaker 1: You want to kill all the Jews? Why you look
- 13:18Speaker 1: at the funding that the United States has given through
- 13:21Speaker 1: UNRWA and through other aid that we've given to Palestine.
- 13:26Speaker 1: The aid that has gone from Israel over to Palestine.
- 13:29Speaker 1: They don't use it to help the people. Their children
- 13:31Speaker 1: are on clothed, they're sick, their hospitals are falling down.
- 13:35Speaker 1: They slaughter their animals in the middle of the street.
- 13:37Speaker 1: And this isn't something that I've read about, like you know,
- 13:40Speaker 1: in a book or saw on a paper. I saw
- 13:41Speaker 1: it with my own ice. I was there. This is
- 13:44Speaker 1: a real thing. It is a third World way of life.
- 13:47Speaker 1: They dumb down their people and they trap them. Their
- 13:50Speaker 1: own people are victims of the terrorist group Humus. This
- 13:54Speaker 1: is a real thing here. You know, these are people
- 13:57Speaker 1: who are trapped in a country. If they try to
- 14:00Speaker 1: leave and find a better way of life, they come
- 14:03Speaker 1: after them. They'll shoot them cross in the West Bank.
- 14:05Speaker 1: And guess what happens if they happen to make it
- 14:07Speaker 1: to Israel. Israel has several sections within its country. It
- 14:11Speaker 1: has a Greek Orthodox, it has a Catholic section, it
- 14:15Speaker 1: has a Muslim section. They have all sorts of things.
- 14:20Speaker 1: It's amazing. And you know what, when the Syrian Christians
- 14:23Speaker 1: were being murdered, the Drews were being murdered by Islamic radicals,
- 14:28Speaker 1: they came to Israel, and Israel welcomed them with open
- 14:31Speaker 1: arms and protected them. These are the things that drive
- 14:34Speaker 1: me nuts. But anyways, I'm really down a rabbit hole
- 14:36Speaker 1: in this issue. These demonstrators today at Columbia Library were
- 14:40Speaker 1: not able to get out after they protested and caused
- 14:44Speaker 1: this disruption without showing their identification on the way out.
- 14:49Speaker 1: I mean, how great is that. You think you're gonna
- 14:51Speaker 1: walk in, You think you're gonna talk trash and make
- 14:54Speaker 1: noise and disrupt everybody and just no accountability. Tide's turning,
- 14:58Speaker 1: Baby tide is turn Perhaps you should get on the
- 15:01Speaker 1: other side. Maybe you should go back and read some books,
- 15:03Speaker 1: which is what you're here to do in the first place, right,
- 15:05Speaker 1: I mean, these kids are ridiculous. They need honestly, guys
- 15:08Speaker 1: should go join the book club with the ANTIFA members.
- 15:11Speaker 1: And then, speaking of flags, to go back to that
- 15:13Speaker 1: story for a minute. I saw this story and it
- 15:15Speaker 1: was just so great. So there's this Polish politician and
- 15:18Speaker 1: he tore down the European Union flag. Then he wiped
- 15:23Speaker 1: his shoes on it and he burned it, and he
- 15:25Speaker 1: says Poland will not display the symbols of a hostile organization.
- 15:30Speaker 1: This is Poland, this is not Brussels and globalism. Is losing,
- 15:34Speaker 1: and I have to say, this is amazing. Like I
- 15:36Speaker 1: remember when people were talking about Brexit because they didn't
- 15:39Speaker 1: want the UK to become a part of the EU,
- 15:41Speaker 1: and all of these nation states were like, yeah, we're
- 15:44Speaker 1: just going to become the EU, and we'll all be
- 15:46Speaker 1: in the European Union and we'll all work together and
- 15:49Speaker 1: we each nation won't have its own currency and they
- 15:52Speaker 1: won't have their own government, and we'll really just be
- 15:55Speaker 1: under one helm. And how much better that will be?
- 15:58Speaker 1: What are you talking about? That was the beauty of Europe,
- 16:03Speaker 1: each part of Europe. Each country in Europe had its
- 16:06Speaker 1: own history, its own legacy, and its own you know
- 16:09Speaker 1: things that it was known for. Right if you went
- 16:11Speaker 1: to Italy, you were going there for Rome and the
- 16:14Speaker 1: Colisseum and Florence. And if you went to France, maybe
- 16:18Speaker 1: you're going to Paris in the Eiffel Tower and all
- 16:21Speaker 1: these amazing things. But now they're all a part of
- 16:25Speaker 1: the EU. Why is this a good thing? Why are
- 16:27Speaker 1: we doing this this? One Polish politician stood up today
- 16:31Speaker 1: and he was like, Nope, I will not do this.
- 16:33Speaker 1: We are this is Poland. We're proud to be Poland,
- 16:36Speaker 1: and we're proud to be Polish period. Hartstop, have a
- 16:39Speaker 1: nice day on by the way, I'm going to use
- 16:42Speaker 1: your flag here to shoeshine. Thank you. I mean amazing.
- 16:45Speaker 1: I was like, this is like the best thing I've
- 16:47Speaker 1: seen all day, because that's what we need, right we
- 16:49Speaker 1: need more people standing up. And of course there was
- 16:51Speaker 1: a bunch of people there They're like, oh, oh my god,
- 16:54Speaker 1: I can't believe you did that. But you know what,
- 16:56Speaker 1: that's what that really is the change, that's what we're
- 16:59Speaker 1: looking for. We're looking for people to stand up and say,
- 17:03Speaker 1: I dissent, I am not a part of this, I'm
- 17:05Speaker 1: not going along with us, I am informed, and I'm
- 17:08Speaker 1: not about it. And I just think it's awesome. And
- 17:10Speaker 1: then in the exact polar opposite to this Polish representative,
- 17:15Speaker 1: we have Macron today who welcomed al Jilani, former member
- 17:21Speaker 1: of the Islamic Brotherhood known as an al Qaeda mass murderer,
- 17:25Speaker 1: and and he's a member of ISIS and he was
- 17:28Speaker 1: welcomed open arms today in France. Macrone has said if
- 17:32Speaker 1: the Israeli Prime Minister Natanna who tries to come to France,
- 17:35Speaker 1: they're going to arrest him on site. So we have
- 17:39Speaker 1: Aljilani who's murdering Christians and Drews in Syria, and then
- 17:44Speaker 1: we have Natignaho, who is literally the only democracy in
- 17:49Speaker 1: the Middle East. What is going on, Macron? Why would
- 17:52Speaker 1: you do this?
- 17:53Speaker 2: Is?
- 17:54Speaker 1: What is the message that you are sending. Obviously you're
- 17:57Speaker 1: not interested in international peace and obviously not interested in
- 18:01Speaker 1: talking to people and hearing their side of the story.
- 18:04Speaker 1: You're a part of that Free Palestine movement, which is
- 18:06Speaker 1: ignorance is bliss because those people are the most ignorant people.
- 18:09Speaker 1: Macrone's a weirdo anyway. I mean, the guy is married,
- 18:12Speaker 1: and he's married to someone much older than him. They
- 18:15Speaker 1: don't have children, he has nothing else in his life
- 18:17Speaker 1: except you know, turning France into a complete dumpster fire.
- 18:21Speaker 1: So good on you. Way to bring in the mass
- 18:24Speaker 1: murderer who believes in radical Islam. You doing great, Macron,
- 18:27Speaker 1: you know, and again nobody's talking about it, right like,
- 18:30Speaker 1: nobody knows that Macron did this today. Nobody knows that
- 18:33Speaker 1: this kind of stuff is even going on. So all right,
- 18:37Speaker 1: let's talk. Let's go back for a second. Let's play
- 18:39Speaker 1: a little bit of the madness. Just so you know,
- 18:41Speaker 1: I'm not making it all up. So here is the
- 18:45Speaker 1: Utah legislator talking about why this LGBTQ flag is so wonderful.
- 18:52Speaker 1: You got to hear it.
- 18:53Speaker 2: I want each and every resident to look up at
- 18:57Speaker 2: any flag that flies at city Hall and be reminded
- 19:01Speaker 2: that their community values belonging and acceptance, and that their
- 19:05Speaker 2: community values every one of them. Let the saga Lily
- 19:11Speaker 2: send a simple but powerful message. Salt Lake City is
- 19:14Speaker 2: here for you. We believe in you, and we love you.
- 19:19Speaker 1: Please shut up. I mean, this is the kind of
- 19:21Speaker 1: crap I'm talking about. You are here to lower taxes,
- 19:25Speaker 1: make sure that police officers have funding, and you are
- 19:28Speaker 1: here to make sure that our kids are safe getting
- 19:30Speaker 1: to and from school and that the potholes are fixed.
- 19:34Speaker 1: Stop talking about flags and Lily's and stop whispering. I
- 19:37Speaker 1: mean that woman was doing her best. Joe Biden, oh
- 19:40Speaker 1: my god, just stop, all right. And then the last
- 19:43Speaker 1: story of the day, this is really gross. Democrat Colorado
- 19:48Speaker 1: State Senator Chris Kolker mocks Christians and statements defending a
- 19:55Speaker 1: new radical transgender bill, saying that one day he's going
- 19:59Speaker 1: to stay and before a trans Jesus take a listen
- 20:04Speaker 1: to this. We'll talk about it on the other side
- 20:06Speaker 1: because it's just gross.
- 20:08Speaker 3: I'm accountable to Almighty God, because I'm standing up for
- 20:15Speaker 3: equality that my decisions. One day I will stand before
- 20:26Speaker 3: him and be accountable. Well, this is what I believe.
- 20:30Speaker 3: You ever seen that movie Talladega Knights, and you see
- 20:36Speaker 3: that section where they're talking around the dinner table and
- 20:38Speaker 3: they're talking about what their favorite version.
- 20:40Speaker 1: Of Jesus is.
- 20:43Speaker 3: All Right, baby Jesus, I love baby Jesus, and the
- 20:47Speaker 3: guy goes, well, I love Leonard Skinner Jesus when angels
- 20:50Speaker 3: are behind him and the choir is singing and he's
- 20:52Speaker 3: playing Freebird. Well, my day of judgment, I might be
- 20:59Speaker 3: standing in front of trans Jesus. I don't know. I
- 21:04Speaker 3: don't know. It's what I believe, and I believe that
- 21:11Speaker 3: Jesus God will look at me and say, you stood
- 21:15Speaker 3: up for people. You stood up for those who we're
- 21:22Speaker 3: less fortunate, who struggled. You may pass, you may enter.
- 21:29Speaker 3: I encourage an ivil.
- 21:31Speaker 1: Jesus is not trans. Jesus is a man. Jesus is
- 21:34Speaker 1: the son of Joseph and Mary, and Jesus is the
- 21:38Speaker 1: son of God. He is all those things, but he
- 21:40Speaker 1: is not trans. When you come before him at the
- 21:44Speaker 1: pearly Gates and he says to you, why have you
- 21:48Speaker 1: defied me? Why have you furthered a narrative and hurt
- 21:52Speaker 1: children and promoted mental illness? Instead of saying to people,
- 21:57Speaker 1: God made you in his image. He made you exactly
- 22:00Speaker 1: as He wanted you to be, and when you get
- 22:03Speaker 1: to the other side, you will know him. Christians are
- 22:07Speaker 1: not walking around saying, yeah, we support trans Jesus. You
- 22:10Speaker 1: want to believe that. You think that's going to get
- 22:12Speaker 1: you into the pearly gates, all right, good for you.
- 22:16Speaker 1: That's free will. You are exercising your free will. But
- 22:19Speaker 1: I assure you there is no trans Jesus. And if
- 22:22Speaker 1: you're hoping to see him, I think you're going to
- 22:24Speaker 1: meet somebody else when you get to the end. Just
- 22:27Speaker 1: my personal opinion. I feel sorry for people like Chris
- 22:30Speaker 1: who want to obstruct and say things like that about Christianity.
- 22:33Speaker 1: I guarantee you if he had said that about Allah,
- 22:37Speaker 1: if he had said that about something that was in
- 22:38Speaker 1: the Quran, he would have had a very different reaction.
- 22:41Speaker 1: But he wouldn't say that, would he, Nah, he would Anyways,
- 22:46Speaker 1: I hope that everybody is having a great day today.
- 22:49Speaker 1: This is Lynda MacLaughlin with a Rogue recap. It's been
- 22:52Speaker 1: a heck of a newsday. I hope you've learned a
- 22:54Speaker 1: little bit from all these stories and we'll see you tomorrow.
