- 0:00Speaker 1: You're listening to Bill Handle on demand from KFI AM
- 0:04Speaker 1: six forty.
- 0:10Speaker 2: A side effect on viagra, and they started using it
- 0:14Speaker 2: for burn victims. Very few people know that.
- 0:17Speaker 3: There you go, because it keeps the sheets off of
- 0:20Speaker 3: your body, so you don't want the sheets to actually.
- 0:25Speaker 2: Touch your body.
- 0:27Speaker 3: We're done with that, and now handle on the news,
- 0:31Speaker 3: ladies and gentlemen.
- 0:32Speaker 2: Here's Bill Handle. Good morning. Everybody is a Wenday morning,
- 0:39Speaker 2: February nine.
- 0:41Speaker 3: The Super Bowl is over and that was one of
- 0:45Speaker 3: the most miserable games I have seen in a very
- 0:47Speaker 3: long time. Those vaunted Boston Patriots. Yeah, they didn't do
- 0:54Speaker 3: very well yesterday. As a matter of fact, no one
- 0:56Speaker 3: did very well yesterday other than the do you know
- 1:01Speaker 3: the I think the halftime show met expectations with bad.
- 1:07Speaker 2: Buddy, I really do.
- 1:08Speaker 3: Did anybody It was all in Spanish and did you
- 1:12Speaker 3: guys notice?
- 1:13Speaker 2: And oh it was amazing.
- 1:14Speaker 3: Yeah, we'll talk more about that later on, But did
- 1:16Speaker 3: you do those amazing did you notice? And this was
- 1:20Speaker 3: only fleeting camera shots that were not supposed to be broadcast.
- 1:26Speaker 3: The ice agents on the edges of the stage looking
- 1:32Speaker 3: at the I was looking at the show.
- 1:36Speaker 2: I thought the show was great. I thought it was
- 1:38Speaker 2: really good. The performance was wonderful, and we have to
- 1:41Speaker 2: do a segment.
- 1:42Speaker 3: There was a Wall Street Journal segment I think on
- 1:45Speaker 3: the guy who designs those shows.
- 1:50Speaker 2: And I'm not talking about the performance part of it.
- 1:52Speaker 3: I'm talking about just the technical aspects of putting together
- 1:57Speaker 3: a stage, designing a stage, it together, and then having
- 2:01Speaker 3: it roll out in eight minutes and then roll back
- 2:06Speaker 3: in eight or twelve minutes.
- 2:08Speaker 2: Can you imagine, Oh, it's it's good.
- 2:11Speaker 3: It is fascinating how they do that. I'm I'm fascinated
- 2:15Speaker 3: by it. Now you may not be, but I think.
- 2:16Speaker 4: It's a Hey, I just thought of a new segment,
- 2:19Speaker 4: but it's a visual one. I'm gonna do screen captures
- 2:23Speaker 4: of Ann's face when you say certain things, or any
- 2:26Speaker 4: of us say certain things, because it is spectacular.
- 2:30Speaker 5: I don't even I don't realize that I'm that animated.
- 2:33Speaker 1: You should have seen you during just things on the
- 2:36Speaker 1: news and the.
- 2:38Speaker 5: Because I don't talk, so I just make face, just reacts.
- 2:42Speaker 3: In any case, good morning, it is one and all cono,
- 2:46Speaker 3: Good morning, Good.
- 2:47Speaker 1: Morning, Bough.
- 2:48Speaker 2: You watch game? I did? I laid it a lot?
- 2:51Speaker 2: You did?
- 2:51Speaker 1: I did.
- 2:53Speaker 6: I don't know how I say, no one did good.
- 2:54Speaker 6: The defense did great. Oh yeah, no, you're right, the
- 2:57Speaker 6: d that's fair to say.
- 2:59Speaker 3: The scoring part of it was miserable, especially on behalf
- 3:02Speaker 3: of the Patriots. And it was won by field goals.
- 3:07Speaker 3: What a record was set by the field goal kicker?
- 3:11Speaker 2: Yeah? Oh I thought it was fifty five. That's a lot.
- 3:16Speaker 3: Oh fifteen Yeah, yeah, well I was. It was with
- 3:20Speaker 3: that part, and you're right, it was. The whole game
- 3:21Speaker 3: was defense, all of it.
- 3:23Speaker 6: But that's three hundred and sixty pounds guys just dominating.
- 3:28Speaker 2: Yeah, no, they were great, fast, great bill.
- 3:30Speaker 3: A number of sacks were Was that a record number
- 3:34Speaker 3: of sacks in a Super Bowl? Two?
- 3:36Speaker 6: In a postseason? Maybe in the Super Bowl two? But
- 3:39Speaker 6: definitely the posts pretty pretty impressive.
- 3:40Speaker 2: Hey, we're I did that.
- 3:42Speaker 5: How many times did May get sacked? It was like
- 3:44Speaker 5: seven seven?
- 3:46Speaker 3: Yeaheah crazy, this is sports talk, everybody, you don't even keep.
- 3:52Speaker 2: You know what they had to do.
- 3:54Speaker 3: They gave it a mister sports person, Yeah, mister sports guy.
- 3:58Speaker 3: And I had there were three of us watching, and
- 4:00Speaker 3: I had enough food for forty people.
- 4:03Speaker 2: It was a lot of a lot of food there.
- 4:07Speaker 3: Okay, there is Amy, Good morning, Amy, Hi Bill, How
- 4:10Speaker 3: are you?
- 4:11Speaker 2: Yeah, and you watched it? Of course, of course you did?
- 4:14Speaker 2: Fair enough? How many people were at your super Bowl thing?
- 4:18Speaker 7: Not twenty?
- 4:19Speaker 2: Wow? Is that your was that your place? No?
- 4:21Speaker 5: That my place is way too small?
- 4:23Speaker 2: Didn't okay? And will you watched the game of the morning? Well,
- 4:28Speaker 2: I worked part of the game.
- 4:29Speaker 7: Well, they're right, flew over the flew over the Bay
- 4:32Speaker 7: area and did circles or the stadium.
- 4:35Speaker 1: It was it was fun. He did the four plugs.
- 4:37Speaker 2: Did you know what was going on down below?
- 4:39Speaker 7: Yeah? I mean you know, not much is going on
- 4:41Speaker 7: when I was there. We can't play the actual game
- 4:44Speaker 7: game because of security, so it's everything before the game.
- 4:48Speaker 2: Oh so you do the pre game?
- 4:50Speaker 7: Yeah, exactly, the lead up so not a lot was
- 4:52Speaker 7: going on, but it was pretty really.
- 4:54Speaker 2: So you do you do?
- 4:55Speaker 5: Uh?
- 4:55Speaker 2: Okay? Fair enough? So you do the Super Bowl four play? Yes? Yes, okay,
- 5:01Speaker 2: I'm gonna regret saying that. I'm sure. Okay.
- 5:04Speaker 3: And and I know you had what one hundred people
- 5:07Speaker 3: or you attended one hundred people?
- 5:08Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, there was.
- 5:09Speaker 5: I was at a big party. But I gambled on
- 5:12Speaker 5: my first football game. Ah, and did you win?
- 5:15Speaker 2: I did win? And you know who taught me everything
- 5:17Speaker 2: I know.
- 5:17Speaker 4: Now.
- 5:18Speaker 3: Coo oh, the Seahawks were favored, weren't they?
- 5:27Speaker 5: Yep?
- 5:27Speaker 2: Okay, fair enough?
- 5:29Speaker 1: Feel good about giving them money?
- 5:30Speaker 2: Now? Yo?
- 5:32Speaker 3: Do they say two point three billion dollars and you
- 5:37Speaker 3: have you go to any police station. Of course, they
- 5:39Speaker 3: have a vice division where they go out and get
- 5:45Speaker 3: you know, the the hookers and all that and illegal gambling.
- 5:49Speaker 3: They actually go and arrest people for illegal gambling.
- 5:53Speaker 2: So here they are. There's on on the wall.
- 5:57Speaker 3: Of the police station is the football pool where people
- 6:00Speaker 3: are putting money in, and your names were putting in,
- 6:02Speaker 3: and then they leave the football.
- 6:04Speaker 2: Pool and arrest people for football pools.
- 6:08Speaker 3: We didn't have one at the station, did we Did
- 6:11Speaker 3: we have a football pool this year?
- 6:13Speaker 5: I usually do one, and I didn't do it this year.
- 6:15Speaker 2: I don't think there is one. I don't think there
- 6:17Speaker 2: was one this year.
- 6:19Speaker 3: And Neil, you were saying you did not watch the
- 6:21Speaker 3: game because you were puttering around your workplace.
- 6:24Speaker 4: It was a busy weekend with family stuff. But I
- 6:27Speaker 4: did watch the halftime show. I think he's brilliant and
- 6:31Speaker 4: did a spectacular show. And the people who hated it
- 6:34Speaker 4: because it was entirely in Spanish are racist.
- 6:37Speaker 2: A hold.
- 6:39Speaker 5: I don't necessarily agree with that. I enjoyed the halftime show,
- 6:43Speaker 5: but I wish because I don't know his music that well.
- 6:46Speaker 5: I mean, it's got a good beat and you can
- 6:47Speaker 5: dance to it and all that stuff, but I don't
- 6:49Speaker 5: know what he's saying. I wish they would have sound
- 6:51Speaker 5: titled or something.
- 6:53Speaker 3: Saying Donald Trump is a dick, Donald Trump should that's
- 6:58Speaker 3: what you're singing, That's what he was saying. How did
- 7:02Speaker 3: do we have any news on the alternative halftime show
- 7:05Speaker 3: put on by Turning Point USA.
- 7:07Speaker 4: I think it did five million in change up against
- 7:10Speaker 4: one hundred and thirty million or something like that. I think, yeah,
- 7:15Speaker 4: it wasn't It was not a blip. It's an embarrassment
- 7:18Speaker 4: and I'm not even sure why.
- 7:20Speaker 3: I can't man, And how did it? How did this
- 7:23Speaker 3: score against the Puppy Bowl? And that's the big question,
- 7:26Speaker 3: that is a big question question. Yes, yes, I got understanding.
- 7:30Speaker 4: The whole You know, if it was Pavaratti singing in
- 7:32Speaker 4: Italian the whole time, do you think people would have
- 7:35Speaker 4: been in the rats ass?
- 7:36Speaker 1: That's why I think that it's racial.
- 7:38Speaker 5: I disagree because I, like I said, I liked the show,
- 7:41Speaker 5: but I didn't. I'm not familiar with his music, and
- 7:43Speaker 5: I would love to know what he was saying.
- 7:46Speaker 4: No Spanish speaking people didn't know what he was saying.
- 7:49Speaker 4: The entire time. He was using Puerto Ricans slang. It's
- 7:53Speaker 4: not it, But how would.
- 7:55Speaker 5: Anybody know that? I don't know that Puerto Ricans was
- 7:58Speaker 5: well great, that's a very small but it's enough.
- 8:03Speaker 3: Million or one with Shakira come on now and I
- 8:07Speaker 3: I found it. Uh, he did make a pain that's
- 8:11Speaker 3: peon p e a a p e a and uh
- 8:15Speaker 3: to modern English singers like Lady goygoy you know who's
- 8:21Speaker 3: not Jewish?
- 8:22Speaker 1: Lady goygoy.
- 8:25Speaker 2: Wow?
- 8:25Speaker 3: Okay, oh yeah, okay, guy eyebrows?
- 8:30Speaker 2: What's up with the eyebrows? I don't know.
- 8:32Speaker 5: Somebody else was saying that, what what because they're blonde? Now, yeah,
- 8:36Speaker 5: she bleaches them and that's a weird look.
- 8:39Speaker 2: It is a mad look. Well, okay and marat Okay,
- 8:42Speaker 2: let's just do it, guys.
- 8:44Speaker 3: It is time for handle on the news and unfortunately
- 8:48Speaker 3: we've got tougher news. We're not gonna have fun with
- 8:50Speaker 3: this one. It's time for the news with Amy Neil
- 8:54Speaker 3: and me lead story.
- 8:56Speaker 2: Just such a free yeah.
- 8:58Speaker 3: Continue the story of Nancy Guthrie, Savannah Guthrie's mom continues
- 9:04Speaker 3: on with the abductors asking for what six million dollars
- 9:11Speaker 3: in a bitcoin and it's looking more and more like
- 9:15Speaker 3: it's legitimate that they do have her and it's Samantha
- 9:20Speaker 3: Guthrie and her family. Saturday said we will pay for
- 9:25Speaker 3: her safe return.
- 9:27Speaker 2: That's tough.
- 9:28Speaker 4: It wasn't it wasn't there something Amy, I don't know
- 9:31Speaker 4: if you know this, but something early on that pointed
- 9:34Speaker 4: towards a family member, like in law or something.
- 9:38Speaker 1: And where did that go?
- 9:40Speaker 5: Well, the sheriff, the Pima count of sheriff is still
- 9:43Speaker 5: saying there is no person of interest in there are
- 9:46Speaker 5: no suspects, but they are still They were searching a
- 9:49Speaker 5: septic tank at the sister's house, at Annie Guthrie's house,
- 9:53Speaker 5: and the sister is married to the brother in law
- 9:56Speaker 5: that there was some speculation that he may be a
- 9:58Speaker 5: suspect or something to that a actually, yeah.
- 10:00Speaker 3: D anybody knows the connection to the Lindbergh baby where
- 10:05Speaker 3: unfortunately there was this massive nationwide hunt and they unfortunately
- 10:10Speaker 3: found the Lindburg baby on the Lindberg property and it
- 10:14Speaker 3: was dead from literally a minute one and not that
- 10:18Speaker 3: this happened that way. Certainly we hope that didn't. And
- 10:20Speaker 3: then the question of the medicine, this life threatening medicine,
- 10:25Speaker 3: if she doesn't have it on a daily basis, we
- 10:29Speaker 3: are not hearing a whole lot about.
- 10:30Speaker 5: That, Like, we don't know if they, if whoever grabbed
- 10:34Speaker 5: her to god the medicine or left it behind.
- 10:38Speaker 3: I think they left it behind. Otherwise I think the
- 10:40Speaker 3: authorities would say that she needs this medicine.
- 10:43Speaker 5: They do say that, but they haven't said definitively that
- 10:46Speaker 5: we don't.
- 10:46Speaker 3: We're not hearing much about this. I think at this point,
- 10:49Speaker 3: I would think it's fairly easy for once the adoption
- 10:53Speaker 3: to take place, to keep someone hidden, and that's say
- 10:57Speaker 3: you can hide any place and arrange for the ransom,
- 11:01Speaker 3: although today with bitcoin it is easier. You're not talking
- 11:04Speaker 3: about cash being dropped off and picked up someplace, So
- 11:08Speaker 3: that now is off the table. Now the issue if
- 11:11Speaker 3: she is returned, I think that's going to be a
- 11:13Speaker 3: weak point of their story of the abductors. Anyway, of course,
- 11:21Speaker 3: everybody is praying that she has returned. I don't know
- 11:25Speaker 3: how many of these are happened in the United States
- 11:28Speaker 3: every year. But obviously because Samantha, Because of Samantha got three,
- 11:31Speaker 3: this has become an enormous story.
- 11:34Speaker 5: So what's the point here. Glaine Maxwell plans to plead
- 11:39Speaker 5: the Fifth Amendment to avoid self incrimination when she heads
- 11:43Speaker 5: to a deposition in front of the House Oversight and
- 11:46Speaker 5: Government Reform Committee today. Of course, Maxwell's the former girlfriend
- 11:51Speaker 5: and partner of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. She's serving
- 11:55Speaker 5: a twenty year prison sentence for her role in procuring
- 12:00Speaker 5: and trafficking victims of Epstein.
- 12:03Speaker 3: Yeah, the point, by the way, when you ask what
- 12:05Speaker 3: the point is, and she's already doing twenty years because
- 12:08Speaker 3: everything that happens during a trial, when one loses, especially
- 12:12Speaker 3: when one loses with this kind of scrutiny and this
- 12:16Speaker 3: kind of money she has available, everything is being appealed,
- 12:19Speaker 3: and sometimes years later the Supreme Court Appeals Court goes
- 12:24Speaker 3: ahead and says that the case must be retried because
- 12:31Speaker 3: of technical issues, technical errors, And if she pleads guilty,
- 12:36Speaker 3: there's really nothing to retry because she's already pled. But
- 12:40Speaker 3: this is for a deposition, yes, but that's the whole point.
- 12:45Speaker 3: If she pleads guilty, or she says she's guilty. If
- 12:49Speaker 3: they can bring that into court, Okay, it puts her
- 12:52Speaker 3: in a very bad position for her to argue and appeal.
- 12:56Speaker 5: Gotcha, that makes sense.
- 12:58Speaker 4: Okay, all right, and they're doing it in New York,
- 13:01Speaker 4: let's do it here. How about a Democratic Socialist for mayor.
- 13:06Speaker 4: You've got Los Angeles council member Nythia Rahman announced her
- 13:10Speaker 4: candidacy for mayor of LA This is all because, you know,
- 13:14Speaker 4: Bass is having a hard time keeping her head above water.
- 13:17Speaker 4: Even the La Times has been going after and so
- 13:22Speaker 4: Nythia Rama, who is not only a council member, but
- 13:25Speaker 4: she's been you know, really focused on urban planning. She's
- 13:29Speaker 4: putting her at her hat rather into the center to
- 13:34Speaker 4: run against Mayor Karen Bass. And she's probably got one
- 13:37Speaker 4: of the best name recognitions out of the group.
- 13:40Speaker 3: So she does Oh did you did you see or
- 13:43Speaker 3: hear the news that she, at the same time applied
- 13:46Speaker 3: to change her name and she wants to be Nythia
- 13:50Speaker 3: Karl Marx Ramen.
- 13:53Speaker 4: She's she she's focusing on housing and affordable housing right now.
- 14:00Speaker 4: But yeah, so she's you know, I don't know, maybe
- 14:04Speaker 4: she has a chance.
- 14:08Speaker 1: Who knows.
- 14:08Speaker 5: Yeah, Oh rats, thousands of products are being recalled by
- 14:14Speaker 5: gold Star Distribution because that one of the distributors facilities
- 14:19Speaker 5: there was rodent and bird droppings where the products were
- 14:23Speaker 5: being stored. Anyone exposed to contaminated products could potentially contract
- 14:29Speaker 5: an illness like salmonella or even leptospirosis. And what products
- 14:33Speaker 5: are these?
- 14:34Speaker 1: Oh?
- 14:34Speaker 3: Lots, everything everything that you ever or will eat or drink.
- 14:40Speaker 3: This is one of the mast It's like Cisco, one
- 14:42Speaker 3: of the major distributors that they do restaurants.
- 14:44Speaker 2: It's everything Advil.
- 14:47Speaker 1: How do you poop? How do you get wrap poop
- 14:50Speaker 1: in Adville?
- 14:51Speaker 5: Well, I wonder if it's in it or if it
- 14:53Speaker 5: got on the packaging. Maybe just just contact with the packaging.
- 14:57Speaker 2: That's a good point.
- 14:58Speaker 3: And you're allowed a certain number of of rat droppings
- 15:01Speaker 3: like coca cola or beverage cannons are allowed a one
- 15:06Speaker 3: per x million.
- 15:11Speaker 4: How many bugs? And you know stuff that is allowed
- 15:15Speaker 4: in food.
- 15:16Speaker 3: Oh, by the way, I want to correct myself, Amy
- 15:18Speaker 3: pointed out, it is Savannah Guthrie.
- 15:21Speaker 2: Uh, it is not Samantha.
- 15:23Speaker 3: It's and usually I did mix up names, but that
- 15:26Speaker 3: you know, and I don't know the first name. This
- 15:28Speaker 3: one I did know, and I just for some reason
- 15:30Speaker 3: conflated the two. All right, Trump, this is an interesting turn.
- 15:36Speaker 1: Uh.
- 15:37Speaker 4: President Deald Trump is not inviting Democrats that are uh
- 15:45Speaker 4: governors uh to the National Governors Association Annual Washington Summit.
- 15:50Speaker 4: Strangely enough, so typically it's bipartisan, everybody, come one, come
- 15:56Speaker 4: all uh. And some were even given were revoked their
- 16:01Speaker 4: invitations that were sent out, one of which was the
- 16:04Speaker 4: Maryland governor Wes Moore, and also the Colorado governor as well.
- 16:12Speaker 4: How do you tell someone they're not invited?
- 16:14Speaker 3: You tell them they're not invited, Neil, You've done that
- 16:16Speaker 3: for me, Yeah, I have. Were you disinvited someone?
- 16:19Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 16:20Speaker 4: At an handle, disinvited someone and I had to call
- 16:23Speaker 4: and disinvite them.
- 16:24Speaker 2: Yeah, because I didn't want the concoct ascono was.
- 16:27Speaker 1: It was not fun.
- 16:29Speaker 3: Yeah, it was for me. I had no problem now here.
- 16:34Speaker 3: Here's the point about this conference. Had any other president
- 16:39Speaker 3: done this, it would be earth shattering, end of the
- 16:41Speaker 3: world news. I'm surprised that we even brought it up
- 16:45Speaker 3: his news that the President said no democrats, even though
- 16:50Speaker 3: it's usually bipartisan, not interested in talking to a Democrat
- 16:53Speaker 3: at this event, and it's.
- 16:56Speaker 4: Not I have defended some of his ideas at times,
- 16:59Speaker 4: but I've no ever defended the man. He is indefensible
- 17:02Speaker 4: and he has jumped the shark as a human being.
- 17:04Speaker 1: Period.
- 17:05Speaker 3: I also nonpartisanism. This is not particular This meeting is
- 17:09Speaker 3: not particularly political. What it is is governors talking about
- 17:13Speaker 3: the problems they have, the issues in their state, and
- 17:17Speaker 3: what they're doing to overcome those problems. Infrastructure for example,
- 17:21Speaker 3: infrastructure issues and what they're doing.
- 17:24Speaker 2: And so, I mean, this is just.
- 17:27Speaker 1: About governing the United States.
- 17:29Speaker 2: You're the president, it's.
- 17:30Speaker 3: Not it's not about governing, it's about mandating. It's about
- 17:35Speaker 3: you know a well, no King's March. There was a
- 17:38Speaker 3: reason for it.
- 17:43Speaker 5: Seahawks have flown to a Super Bowl sixty victory. The
- 17:48Speaker 5: darkseide defense carried Sam Darnold and the Seahawks to the
- 17:53Speaker 5: twenty nine to thirteen win that didn't see a touchdown
- 17:57Speaker 5: scored until the third quarter. Darnold, who went to USC
- 18:02Speaker 5: he's from San Clemente, said to do this with this team,
- 18:06Speaker 5: I wouldn't do it any other way.
- 18:09Speaker 3: Sure he would, he would, he would win the Super
- 18:12Speaker 3: Bowl with any team. Well, come on, give me a break.
- 18:14Speaker 3: Come on, that's pretty stupid and when interviewed, Hey, we
- 18:18Speaker 3: put our best face forward, to put our game face on.
- 18:22Speaker 3: We have it one hundred percent. We yah da YadA,
- 18:24Speaker 3: YadA YadA. Okay, Anyway, I watched the game. Super Bowl
- 18:30Speaker 3: is kind of fun. Well, but the we're not doing
- 18:32Speaker 3: a segment on the commercials, and maybe we should because
- 18:35Speaker 3: there were I think we're back to fun commercials. I
- 18:38Speaker 3: think for a bunch of years, commercials just sucked, and
- 18:43Speaker 3: this year they came back and it was out all
- 18:46Speaker 3: ai a couple of things I've never heard of, and
- 18:52Speaker 3: they were fun and it was every actor, every A
- 18:55Speaker 3: and B actor that exists.
- 18:57Speaker 2: We're doing commercials, all right. All right.
- 19:02Speaker 4: Doctor Oz is back in the news, maybe disagreeing.
- 19:07Speaker 1: With his boss.
- 19:08Speaker 4: He says, to take the vaccine please, Doctor memot Oz
- 19:13Speaker 4: whose heart surgeon, I think if I remember chrigit, he
- 19:15Speaker 4: is as carreologist surgeony, Yeah, and he works there at
- 19:20Speaker 4: the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services. He's the administrator
- 19:25Speaker 4: or some kind his boss. As we all know, Robert F.
- 19:28Speaker 4: Kennedy Junior has his beef with vaccines. Even though he
- 19:33Speaker 4: said he would not, he said that this is a
- 19:40Speaker 4: very important one to take and he said, not all
- 19:44Speaker 4: illnesses are equally dangerous, and not all people are equally
- 19:48Speaker 4: susceptible to those illnesses, but measles is the one you
- 19:53Speaker 4: should get your vaccine.
- 19:54Speaker 3: And by the way, Robert Kennedy, he's not against this.
- 19:56Speaker 3: I don't think he's come out against the measles vaccine.
- 19:59Speaker 3: He may very We all said, yeah, the Beaesels vaccine
- 20:02Speaker 3: is something you should take. So it's fairly limited in
- 20:06Speaker 3: the number of vaccines that Robert Kennedy is arguing against.
- 20:11Speaker 3: Also when those vaccines should should be given to kids,
- 20:17Speaker 3: old people, that.
- 20:17Speaker 2: Sort of thing.
- 20:18Speaker 3: Also, the Univer said him, every time doctor Oz is
- 20:22Speaker 3: in a public setting, he always wears. He wears bright
- 20:25Speaker 3: green scrubs.
- 20:28Speaker 1: No one sees him, no way, no how.
- 20:32Speaker 3: That is.
- 20:32Speaker 2: And it's always behind a curtain.
- 20:34Speaker 1: He's never lies everywhere in a hot air balloon.
- 20:38Speaker 5: Yes, who's afraid of the Big bad Wolf? A gray
- 20:44Speaker 5: wolf has been spotted in La County for the first
- 20:48Speaker 5: time in more than one hundred years. To recall, the
- 20:52Speaker 5: wolf was pretty much eradicated from California, and they've been
- 20:55Speaker 5: trying to get some back, and there's about sixty of
- 20:58Speaker 5: them in California down a pair, only this one came south.
- 21:01Speaker 5: She's three years old. She reached the Mountains of North
- 21:06Speaker 5: Mountains north of Santa Clarita on Saturday morning. She had
- 21:11Speaker 5: been spotted traveling through Kern County earlier than that, and
- 21:15Speaker 5: they're tracking her because they got a GPS collar on
- 21:18Speaker 5: her last spring when she was roaming around with the
- 21:22Speaker 5: Yallow lumni pack in to Laura County. I thought looking
- 21:27Speaker 5: for a mate.
- 21:28Speaker 2: Yeah, I thought they found her in the meat section
- 21:30Speaker 2: of Costco. Nope, nope, nope, nope, nope.
- 21:35Speaker 4: Okay, hey break a leg. Lindsey Vaughn an Olympia too soon?
- 21:43Speaker 4: What what?
- 21:45Speaker 1: She's not dead?
- 21:46Speaker 3: Yeah, she stated on that completely ruptured ACL and during
- 21:53Speaker 3: her practice run she did pretty well.
- 21:56Speaker 4: You know up to she just st at forty one
- 21:59Speaker 4: on a reb built right knee and an injured left knee.
- 22:03Speaker 1: Come on, yeah, if.
- 22:04Speaker 3: She had not ROBTU that ACL lot she would have been.
- 22:08Speaker 3: So anyway, she's obviously done with skiing. Twice you was there,
- 22:12Speaker 3: lifted off the slopes. But she's still going to go
- 22:15Speaker 3: down as the most incredible athlete downhill maybe.
- 22:21Speaker 2: Forever, male and female. So anyway, she's done.
- 22:25Speaker 5: Anne was saying that there was some controversy after the
- 22:28Speaker 5: crash yesterday that people were saying, oh, well, why did
- 22:31Speaker 5: she even get to ski with a torn acl Well,
- 22:34Speaker 5: she got to ski because she earned her spot on
- 22:36Speaker 5: the Olympic team.
- 22:37Speaker 1: Yeah, God bless her. I'm being a smart ass.
- 22:39Speaker 4: I mean, God bless her for wanting to push herself
- 22:42Speaker 4: to the limit.
- 22:42Speaker 3: But yeah, that's the other thing she does. Well, you
- 22:45Speaker 3: talk about that wall that she goes through, I should.
- 22:50Speaker 3: I don't understand that level of athleticism.
- 22:55Speaker 2: I don't. But then again, I'm a couch potato.
- 23:00Speaker 5: Inside the investigation, and they've been looking. The FBI's looking
- 23:04Speaker 5: over Jeffrey Epstein's bank records, emails, searching as homes, interviewing victims,
- 23:12Speaker 5: examining connections to some of the world's most influential people.
- 23:16Speaker 5: And after all of that, videos and photos from his
- 23:20Speaker 5: homes in Florida, New York and the Virgin Islands apparently
- 23:24Speaker 5: don't depict victims being abused or implicate anyone else in
- 23:28Speaker 5: the crimes. That's what a prosecutor said in a memo
- 23:30Speaker 5: in twenty twenty five. Another memo an internal member from
- 23:33Speaker 5: twenty nineteen found no connection to criminal activity.
- 23:37Speaker 3: And the women who have accused him, several of them.
- 23:41Speaker 3: There is no proof that there is a connection of
- 23:44Speaker 3: them being abused. Now I believe they were, that's my belief.
- 23:50Speaker 3: But all money was cash. I don't think you see
- 23:55Speaker 3: transfers of money. You saw one between high end figure
- 24:01Speaker 3: to high end figures, but not directly connected, and that
- 24:06Speaker 3: makes sense. There was no proof, So you know, I
- 24:09Speaker 3: have said this a long time ago when this thing
- 24:12Speaker 3: first broke. You're not going to see proof of any wrongdoing,
- 24:16Speaker 3: particularly with President Trump involved. What they are going to
- 24:20Speaker 3: see is relationships that were much closer to Epstein than
- 24:25Speaker 3: is being told by these massive figures.
- 24:28Speaker 1: Why do you think that?
- 24:29Speaker 2: How? Uh? Why?
- 24:31Speaker 3: Because no one wants to be connected with Epstein under
- 24:34Speaker 3: any circumstances any whatsoever. Because too many of these public
- 24:40Speaker 3: figures kept their relationship with Epstein after he went to
- 24:45Speaker 3: prison for sexual abuse.
- 24:48Speaker 1: But how how come there there's got to be evidence?
- 24:51Speaker 1: You just can't you can't.
- 24:53Speaker 3: Watch at this point, they haven't found it yet, and
- 24:56Speaker 3: you know, the DJ of course, is not going to
- 24:58Speaker 3: find any evidence.
- 25:02Speaker 2: No, I never trust the d o J.
- 25:04Speaker 3: But I don't think it would be one way or
- 25:06Speaker 3: the other if proof of Epstein's if proof of Epstein's
- 25:11Speaker 3: crimes were made public, absolute proof, if they would only
- 25:16Speaker 3: release it. As to Bill Clinton and other liberals, of course,
- 25:20Speaker 3: it would take the TATA, it would take the fourth
- 25:24Speaker 3: of State, it would take it would take the media
- 25:26Speaker 3: to go really through it. And the media has it.
- 25:29Speaker 3: The media has that information has been released for the
- 25:31Speaker 3: most part, but it's redacted.
- 25:34Speaker 2: Names have been redacted.
- 25:36Speaker 3: And that's the other controversy because some of these victims,
- 25:42Speaker 3: alleged victims or actual victims, are arguing their name should
- 25:45Speaker 3: not have been put in there. And then some are arguing,
- 25:49Speaker 3: you should have put more information that's out there in there.
- 25:52Speaker 2: So it's still up in the air.
- 25:54Speaker 3: But right now, no criminal wrongdoing, no actual criminal activity.
- 25:58Speaker 4: Okay, fossil few ful, bad, fossil fuel must pay for everything.
- 26:04Speaker 4: So and new Bill SB nine two, is referred to
- 26:09Speaker 4: as the Affordable Insurance Recovery Act, would authorize California's Attorney
- 26:13Speaker 4: General to file civil litigation against fossil fuel companies to
- 26:18Speaker 4: recover losses from climate induced disasters and stuff like that.
- 26:23Speaker 1: I got a.
- 26:23Speaker 4: Question, Bill, So, fossil fuel bad, bad, bad, right, everybody
- 26:27Speaker 4: has fossil fuel, but electric cars are good, right, yep. Okay,
- 26:33Speaker 4: over half of our electricity comes from fossil fuel in California.
- 26:41Speaker 3: Yeah, I will actually more than half. I think, yes,
- 26:43Speaker 3: it's probably range alternative fuel. So yeah, so but the so.
- 26:50Speaker 4: Natural gas is what powers our electricity? Yes, yeah, because.
- 26:55Speaker 3: We get about and they're moving into the other direction
- 26:58Speaker 3: and what the or so what what the basis of this?
- 27:02Speaker 3: And this is I won't say wonky, but it's uh,
- 27:06Speaker 3: it's it's a little bit of a stretch. Fossil fuels
- 27:09Speaker 3: create climate change, climate change responsible in a great to
- 27:15Speaker 3: a great part of uh the wildfires that are going on.
- 27:19Speaker 3: So you can connect the dots here, but the dots
- 27:22Speaker 3: are pretty far apart.
- 27:24Speaker 4: But you're pouring in natural gas and plugging in electricity
- 27:30Speaker 4: thinking that you're doing something.
- 27:31Speaker 2: But here's using natural gas. Right. But here's where we're
- 27:35Speaker 2: gonna go.
- 27:35Speaker 3: We're gonna go to alternative fuels where you are ahead
- 27:39Speaker 3: of what we were supposed to supposed to be and
- 27:43Speaker 3: moving balls to the wall with alternative fuels. Now, are
- 27:46Speaker 3: we ever going to make it one hundred percent? Not
- 27:48Speaker 3: with nuclear without nuclear energy? But California is blaming uh,
- 27:54Speaker 3: these companies that could that use fossil fuels or create
- 27:58Speaker 3: oil companies. And yeah, I see in California now in
- 28:01Speaker 3: the south, for example, along the Go Golf Coast, the
- 28:05Speaker 3: governments pay the oil companies to start fires. So it's
- 28:09Speaker 3: just a different view of politics there. But it's that's
- 28:16Speaker 3: where it is. And I'm a big fan of nukes.
- 28:18Speaker 3: By the way, I really believe in nuclear power because
- 28:21Speaker 3: without it, we're never going to meet our goal.
- 28:25Speaker 5: Ever, Galindo would be so proud. Japan's new prime minister
- 28:34Speaker 5: is popular. Okay, take a second. Conservative Prime Minister Senai Takichi,
- 28:42Speaker 5: not sure if that's right, had a landslide victory and
- 28:46Speaker 5: a snap election on Sunday was a big deal because
- 28:50Speaker 5: her party had been hembrhaging voter support until she stepped in.
- 28:55Speaker 5: She's enjoyed high approval ratings, a glowing endorsement from President,
- 29:00Speaker 5: and then she has won over several voters, many voters
- 29:05Speaker 5: with her strong work, ethic savvy, social media game, and
- 29:08Speaker 5: charisma marked in viral moments like a recent improptu drum
- 29:12Speaker 5: session with South Korea's president.
- 29:14Speaker 3: Yeah, she's controlling that legislature. Reminds me of Margaret Thatcher
- 29:19Speaker 3: in the seventies. What she was able to accomplish in
- 29:23Speaker 3: controlling the parliament in England.
- 29:27Speaker 2: Very strong woman, almost like.
- 29:29Speaker 4: She was made of iron, iron all right. In the UAE,
- 29:39Speaker 4: or this came out of the UAE with the ap
- 29:41Speaker 4: Iran sentenced a Nobel Peace Prize laureate. So over seven
- 29:47Speaker 4: more years in prison after she began a hunger strike.
- 29:50Speaker 4: Now Terran cracks down on all the dissident and you
- 29:57Speaker 4: know the nationwide protests and everything else, the death of
- 30:01Speaker 4: thousands at the hands of their security forces, and this
- 30:04Speaker 4: is one more step of trying to silence anybody who
- 30:07Speaker 4: pushes back.
- 30:08Speaker 3: Ironic that because of the economy in Iran which is collapsing,
- 30:12Speaker 3: there are people that are starving, Yet they arrest someone
- 30:17Speaker 3: who is starving purposely ironic.
- 30:22Speaker 2: Oh, very strong, very strong.
- 30:26Speaker 5: Okay, So maybe the bikini part was missing from the
- 30:29Speaker 5: bikini cafe. Seventeen people, including the owners of a business,
- 30:34Speaker 5: were arrested. Police say that the Garden Grove coffee shop
- 30:37Speaker 5: was operating as a so called bikini cafe. They were
- 30:42Speaker 5: serving customers allegedly while wearing bikinis or in various states
- 30:46Speaker 5: of undress, which Garden Grove police say violates municipal codes
- 30:51Speaker 5: related to public nudity business operations and alcohol regulations. They
- 30:55Speaker 5: also say that they were selling booze on the location.
- 30:59Speaker 5: They didn't have the.
- 31:00Speaker 3: It's the coffee house, I do Do you remember those
- 31:03Speaker 3: drive throughs where they had the gallas and bikinis and
- 31:06Speaker 3: the coffee was horrible and no one cared as they
- 31:10Speaker 3: were driving through.
- 31:12Speaker 4: How was the coffee at this bikini cafe place?
- 31:15Speaker 2: I don't know. I have through that.
- 31:17Speaker 3: I do know, Yeah, I do know that when they
- 31:22Speaker 3: serve you a grande, it's has a double meaning. Okay,
- 31:29Speaker 3: I think we're done. Yep, we certainly are. Kfi A
- 31:34Speaker 3: M six forty.
