- 0:00Speaker 1: Texas and Tennessee, a massive matchup in Knoxville and in
- 0:04Speaker 1: the SEC. This is the complete matchup guide to that game.
- 0:09Speaker 1: We are presented by PrizePix. I'll talk more about them
- 0:11Speaker 1: in a moment. TJ Pittenger, Graham Coffey, back with you
- 0:14Speaker 1: of Dog Central. And we are breaking down a one
- 0:18Speaker 1: versus 14 matchup in which the spread does not at
- 0:22Speaker 1: all indicate that the number one team in the country
- 0:24Speaker 1: is going to walk into Knoxville and have an easy
- 0:26Speaker 1: time with the volunteers.
- 0:27Speaker 2: Graham, what are your big picture thoughts on this one?
- 0:31Speaker 3: My big picture, big, big picture is very interested to
- 0:34Speaker 3: see what is this version of Texas look like on
- 0:38Speaker 3: the road? Texas has struggled on the road and really
- 0:43Speaker 3: under Steve Sarkisian in general. They went 0-4 on the
- 0:46Speaker 3: road in 2021, early in his career. And obviously this
- 0:49Speaker 3: is a very different version of Texas than, than that one.
- 0:52Speaker 3: But even last year in the SEC, they, they had
- 0:56Speaker 3: some issues on the road, right? Like they, They had
- 0:59Speaker 3: that close call at Kentucky that ended up in overtime.
- 1:02Speaker 4: They had to come from way behind at Mississippi State.
- 1:07Speaker 3: They lost to Georgia by, I think it was 25
- 1:11Speaker 3: or 17 points or something like that.
- 1:13Speaker 4: 35-14, I think that game was. But, yeah, how do
- 1:18Speaker 4: they respond to this test?
- 1:20Speaker 3: I think we saw them have the great fourth quarter
- 1:24Speaker 3: against Ohio State, obviously. And I think for some people–
- 1:28Speaker 3: There is kind of this assumption of, well, this is
- 1:31Speaker 3: Texas becoming what everyone has wanted them to become under
- 1:35Speaker 3: Arch Manning. They knock off Ohio State like they're going
- 1:38Speaker 3: to go on and be a top four seed in
- 1:41Speaker 3: the playoff race and go on and compete for a
- 1:44Speaker 3: national title when they get there. And that might 100
- 1:48Speaker 3: percent be true. But if that is true, I think
- 1:51Speaker 3: we will get some signs of it in this game.
- 1:54Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:54Speaker 3: Like we will see them respond to one of these
- 1:57Speaker 3: environments consistently. better than they have at any other point
- 2:00Speaker 3: in sark's tenure and also.
- 2:02Speaker 1: You mentioned not only texas struggling on the road but
- 2:04Speaker 1: arch has struggled on the road through two picks on
- 2:07Speaker 1: the road at florida through a pick in the first
- 2:09Speaker 1: half against georgia through a pick in the first half
- 2:11Speaker 1: against mississippi state last year they were able to come
- 2:14Speaker 1: back and win that mississippi state game um but i
- 2:17Speaker 1: just thoughts about him specifically like we we've talked about
- 2:22Speaker 1: this and Arch was obviously heralded, and you've got all
- 2:26Speaker 1: the off-field stories and storylines of Peyton played there and
- 2:30Speaker 1: Tennessee and what that name means to them. But just
- 2:33Speaker 1: whether that pressure would be there or not, historically, he's
- 2:37Speaker 1: not been very good on the road. Now, he threw
- 2:39Speaker 1: for a lot of yards against Florida because they had
- 2:41Speaker 1: to come back, and so I think he threw for
- 2:43Speaker 1: quite a few yards at.
- 2:47Speaker 2: At Georgia too, because they were trying to come back.
- 2:49Speaker 1: I think in that it was either, I think the
- 2:51Speaker 1: Kentucky game, he threw for less than a buck 50, like,
- 2:55Speaker 1: so not the massive turnover issues that, but like just, yeah,
- 2:58Speaker 1: historically on the road, not great. I didn't think he
- 3:00Speaker 1: was great in that Oklahoma game last year. They didn't
- 3:02Speaker 1: need him to be great because material was banged up.
- 3:05Speaker 4: Right.
- 3:05Speaker 2: But, um, and that's a neutral site, but again, away
- 3:08Speaker 2: from DKR, um.
- 3:10Speaker 1: I wonder, and I don't think he's been super sharp
- 3:13Speaker 1: this year. I thought he sailed a lot of passes
- 3:15Speaker 1: in that Ohio State game. I didn't think he was
- 3:17Speaker 1: super sharp against UTSA. And so, man, I know that
- 3:22Speaker 1: every SEC stadium likes to claim that like, oh, you're
- 3:25Speaker 1: walking into here, we can get an easy win.
- 3:27Speaker 2: And it's usually true for most of them. Like, I'll
- 3:30Speaker 2: give them that.
- 3:31Speaker 1: But Neyland absolutely is one of those places. Georgia found
- 3:33Speaker 1: that out last year in week three. And Alabama's found
- 3:36Speaker 1: that out here recently.
- 3:37Speaker 2: And that is.
- 3:39Speaker 1: A place that, with 100,000 screaming hillbillies who are singing
- 3:42Speaker 1: Rocky Top, shout out Dolly Parton, rest in peace. That
- 3:46Speaker 1: place is going to be a circus at noon on Saturday.
- 3:48Speaker 1: And if Arch isn't ready to go from the jump,
- 3:50Speaker 1: Tennessee will jump on them. And I think Jim Knowles
- 3:52Speaker 1: will be very aggressive.
- 3:53Speaker 2: So your thoughts are on Arch, I guess, in that
- 3:55Speaker 2: defensive matchup.
- 3:56Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, to your point, credit to Brent Rollins
- 4:01Speaker 3: for posting this on Twitter earlier this week. But Arch's
- 4:04Speaker 3: home road splits, I mean, 11 games at home in
- 4:07Speaker 3: his Texas career, 63% completion. 242 yards a game, 26 touchdowns,
- 4:13Speaker 3: four interceptions, pressured 31% of dropbacks. You spin that to
- 4:17Speaker 3: the road, his pressure rate goes up 12%. I think
- 4:21Speaker 3: part of that is him holding onto the ball, truthfully.
- 4:23Speaker 3: And his completion percentage goes down by 5%. He's got
- 4:26Speaker 3: a touchdown interception ratio of seven touchdowns and five INTs.
- 4:31Speaker 4: So not clean, not super efficient.
- 4:36Speaker 3: And not being clean and not being super efficient is
- 4:39Speaker 3: how you end up into, uh, pucker situations on the
- 4:43Speaker 3: road where like the, the home team starts believing as
- 4:47Speaker 3: an underdog. So yeah, Neyland is like, I'm a child
- 4:51Speaker 3: of the sec, right? Like I, I, I grew up
- 4:54Speaker 3: in this part of the world, North Carolina specifically, but, uh,
- 4:58Speaker 3: you know, grew up going to sec football games and
- 5:01Speaker 3: Neyland is the place that is most consistently loud in
- 5:05Speaker 3: this conference, and it'll be very loud for this game,
- 5:07Speaker 3: especially a historic matchup where you've got Texas coming up
- 5:13Speaker 3: the hill to Rocky Top for the first time in forever, really.
- 5:17Speaker 3: This will be a lot of fun, but I'm very
- 5:21Speaker 3: curious from the Tennessee perspective of this. I don't know
- 5:25Speaker 3: how good their defense is. Since we're talking about Arch,
- 5:27Speaker 3: let's look at Tennessee.
- 5:29Speaker 4: We know they have Knowles. We know that Knowles.
- 5:32Speaker 3: Defenses can struggle a lot in year one as he
- 5:35Speaker 3: installs his system. I saw this, honestly, with Georgia last
- 5:40Speaker 3: week playing Arkansas, who runs a 3-3-5, right? You've got
- 5:44Speaker 3: to be patient against these 3-3-5 defenses. They often will
- 5:50Speaker 3: have their safeties very deep, and they will try and
- 5:53Speaker 3: give you pre-snap looks that are going to trick you
- 5:55Speaker 3: into thinking that the deep shot is on, and then
- 5:58Speaker 3: they're going to drop out or they're going to muddy–
- 6:01Speaker 3: the passing lane on a slant with a big defensive lineman.
- 6:04Speaker 3: And if you're not seeing the field well, which I've
- 6:09Speaker 3: had questions about how well Arch has been seeing the
- 6:11Speaker 3: field lately, then you can get in trouble. And I
- 6:14Speaker 3: thought he struggled to see the field. Even during some
- 6:17Speaker 3: of the drives in that comeback against Ohio State, there
- 6:21Speaker 3: was a fourth down pass with a very wide open
- 6:24Speaker 3: kind of route up the middle, sort of a little
- 6:27Speaker 3: in-breaking type of route. And you just did not see
- 6:30Speaker 3: it and did not throw it on time and left
- 6:32Speaker 3: a clean pocket and ended up scrambling around and creating something.
- 6:36Speaker 3: But if he's not on time in this game with
- 6:40Speaker 3: this system that Knowles runs, where you don't always just
- 6:46Speaker 3: know exactly where all these defenders are going to be
- 6:49Speaker 3: and how they're going to rotate out after the snap,
- 6:52Speaker 3: you can get in trouble and he can throw a
- 6:54Speaker 3: pick or two. And if that happens in this game,
- 6:57Speaker 3: I think that Tennessee is going to be in this
- 6:59Speaker 3: late and possibly with a chance to win.
- 7:04Speaker 1: Other side of the ball, Faison Brandon has looked good
- 7:07Speaker 1: for a true freshman.
- 7:08Speaker 2: Looked really good. No, I don't want to undersell the
- 7:10Speaker 2: way he's looked. He's not played great competition.
- 7:13Speaker 1: On the road in Atlanta is certainly the toughest thing
- 7:18Speaker 1: that he's seen, but Georgia.
- 7:20Speaker 2: Tech also kind of got bullied by Colorado the week before.
- 7:23Speaker 1: So I don't want to I don't want to read
- 7:24Speaker 1: too much into that, but still, it's a power four opponent,
- 7:27Speaker 1: Brent Key coach team that they went in and he looks.
- 7:31Speaker 2: Pretty good against.
- 7:34Speaker 1: How do you evaluate a quarterback that is a true freshman,
- 7:38Speaker 1: doesn't have a ton of film, but has looked really,
- 7:40Speaker 1: really good, but will now be going up against a
- 7:43Speaker 1: defense like Texas has and the playmakers that they have
- 7:47Speaker 1: on that side of the ball? Just thoughts around expectations
- 7:51Speaker 1: for him in this game. I'll get right back to
- 7:53Speaker 1: chatting with Graham, but first I want to tell you
- 7:54Speaker 1: about our friends over at PrizePix.
- 7:56Speaker 2: All new users who play a $ 5.
- 7:57Speaker 1: Lineup there and win get $ 150 in lineups instantly if
- 8:01Speaker 1: they use code HMA. I am taking the more on
- 8:04Speaker 1: Jaden Ball's rushing touchdowns, and I'm taking the more on
- 8:07Speaker 1: Trinidad Chambliss' passing touchdowns.
- 8:09Speaker 2: They're both 1.5.
- 8:10Speaker 1: I feel really good about Trinidad. I know it'll be
- 8:13Speaker 1: work for Jaden to get two on the ground, but
- 8:15Speaker 1: I think he gets it done. Go set a lineup
- 8:17Speaker 1: just like that. Appreciate our friends over at PrizePix. Again,
- 8:20Speaker 1: use the code HMA.
- 8:21Speaker 2: Now back to the clip.
- 8:23Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean, I don't know what to expect.
- 8:26Speaker 3: I think he has done a good job of living clean, right?
- 8:30Speaker 3: He's six touchdowns, zero interceptions on the year. When he
- 8:34Speaker 3: has been kept clean in the pocket, he's averaging nine
- 8:37Speaker 3: yards an attempt. He is completing over 65% of his passes,
- 8:41Speaker 3: which is kind of a good key benchmark type number.
- 8:46Speaker 3: And honestly, when he's been blitzed so far this year,
- 8:48Speaker 3: he's been great. He's completing 70% of his passes at
- 8:51Speaker 3: 13 yards an attempt. Now, he's not played teams that
- 8:55Speaker 3: can get home when they blitz against Tennessee with David
- 8:59Speaker 3: Sanders and, and, and Perry, I believe it is their
- 9:02Speaker 3: right tackle. So like he's had good protection. I think
- 9:06Speaker 3: that is the, probably the key to this game, right.
- 9:10Speaker 3: Is like, can you keep him upright and keep him
- 9:14Speaker 3: comfortable and, and keep him from having to try and
- 9:18Speaker 3: play off script? Cause he's a freshman who, is prone
- 9:21Speaker 3: to all of the same types of things likely that
- 9:23Speaker 3: we were just talking about with Arch. So I think
- 9:26Speaker 3: for him, like what we've seen, the deep ball numbers
- 9:32Speaker 3: were really good after a week before we previewed that
- 9:34Speaker 3: Georgia Tech game. They've kind of gone down a little bit,
- 9:37Speaker 3: as they should, like returning to the mean. I think
- 9:41Speaker 3: he's been very good, though, distributing short passes, which, look,
- 9:46Speaker 3: the highball offense, like we think of it in the
- 9:49Speaker 3: Tennessee terms of, 2022 Tennessee with Jalen Hyatt catching five
- 9:54Speaker 3: touchdowns against Alabama.
- 9:55Speaker 4: And deep balls all over the place. And it's great
- 9:59Speaker 4: if you can do that.
- 10:00Speaker 3: But more than likely if they're going to survive in
- 10:03Speaker 3: this game and win this game and control this game
- 10:06Speaker 3: they're going to do it off of sustaining some of
- 10:09Speaker 3: those short completions and I think he can do that
- 10:12Speaker 3: like I mean he's been 25 of 30 on on
- 10:14Speaker 3: throws of less than 10 yards this year he's been
- 10:17Speaker 3: very good in that respect and I look at Tennessee.
- 10:21Speaker 3: I think the very interesting thing about them to this
- 10:24Speaker 3: point in the season has been they've been super efficient
- 10:28Speaker 3: in the red zone, or not even in the red zone,
- 10:30Speaker 3: but if you're looking at it from an advanced stat standpoint,
- 10:35Speaker 3: scoring opportunities are anything inside the opponent's 40. When they
- 10:39Speaker 3: get inside the opponent's 40, they're second nationally right now
- 10:42Speaker 3: in points off of an opportunity at 5.82, just behind Georgia,
- 10:46Speaker 3: just above Florida and Indiana. So they've been really good.
- 10:50Speaker 3: at cashing in and getting it all the way into
- 10:53Speaker 3: the opposing end zone. And then also I think you
- 10:57Speaker 3: look at what they've done in the run game. They
- 11:00Speaker 3: haven't asked him to do too much. He hasn't had
- 11:02Speaker 3: to do too much phase on Brandon. That is just
- 11:05Speaker 3: because they have ran the ball so well. I don't
- 11:08Speaker 3: think they're going to run the ball like that against Texas,
- 11:10Speaker 3: but if he can complete those short passes and keep
- 11:13Speaker 3: them on schedule and keep them ahead of the chains,
- 11:15Speaker 3: when they do have a stuff run, like get them
- 11:18Speaker 3: back into third and five, then they can certainly survive
- 11:20Speaker 3: in this game long enough to get inside the opponent's
- 11:24Speaker 3: 40 and do what they do well.
- 11:26Speaker 1: Yeah, I think about the same things I think about
- 11:29Speaker 1: from the preseason in trying to evaluate what Tennessee might
- 11:33Speaker 1: get out of Faison Brandon. And you knew he had
- 11:36Speaker 1: the talent, but you also knew that he was going
- 11:38Speaker 1: into a system that was, one, a Josh Heupel system, two,
- 11:41Speaker 1: maybe the best offensive line in the conference, at least
- 11:44Speaker 1: top three, and a running game that is elite offensively.
- 11:49Speaker 1: and a wide receiver room that has talent. Like, all
- 11:52Speaker 1: of the pieces that you could want for a freshman quarterback, which,
- 11:56Speaker 1: not that you ever want a freshman quarterback stepping in,
- 11:59Speaker 1: but all the pieces that you could want for a
- 12:00Speaker 1: freshman quarterback stepping in existed for Tennessee. And then, on
- 12:04Speaker 1: the other side, I know there are still questions, they've
- 12:06Speaker 1: had injuries on the defensive side of the ball, but
- 12:08Speaker 1: a defense that should be improved, gosh, I don't know
- 12:11Speaker 1: how it couldn't be, it was maybe the worst in
- 12:12Speaker 1: the conference last year, but a defense that should be
- 12:14Speaker 1: improved under Jim Knowles, and I think it is, bigger
- 12:18Speaker 1: test this weekend, But everything you could want for Faison
- 12:20Speaker 1: Brandon in a season, I think, existed. I think that
- 12:25Speaker 1: translates very well to this game. I don't know how
- 12:27Speaker 1: many of those things you needed against Furman or Georgia
- 12:29Speaker 1: Tech or Kennesaw State.
- 12:31Speaker 2: You will absolutely need them this week.
- 12:34Speaker 1: The team that runs the ball better here and isn't one-dimensional,
- 12:37Speaker 1: because I think Faison has his questions and I think
- 12:40Speaker 1: Arch has his questions.
- 12:41Speaker 2: They're very different.
- 12:43Speaker 1: But the team that is not one-dimensional and does not
- 12:46Speaker 1: put it all on their quarterback, It shouldn't need saying
- 12:51Speaker 1: that the team that can run the ball better is
- 12:52Speaker 1: probably going to win. But I do think it's big
- 12:54Speaker 1: in this one. Whereas Ole Miss can maybe get a
- 12:56Speaker 1: little one-dimensional. We'll talk about them in a moment. When
- 12:58Speaker 1: you've got a guy like Trinidad that you can just
- 13:00Speaker 1: put it all on his shoulders and go win a game.
- 13:02Speaker 1: I don't know that Faison and Arch really want that.
- 13:04Speaker 1: Not that they don't want it. I don't know that
- 13:05Speaker 1: Josh and Steve really want that for their quarterbacks of,
- 13:09Speaker 1: hey man, you've got to go out and win us
- 13:10Speaker 1: this game.
- 13:11Speaker 2: It can work. I'm not saying it's impossible.
- 13:13Speaker 1: But that's where I think guys like Hollywood and Bishop
- 13:15Speaker 1: and all those guys come in to play.
- 13:17Speaker 2: Morris as well.
- 13:18Speaker 1: Who's been a good option to those guys all coming
- 13:21Speaker 1: to play big time for me in this matchup.
- 13:23Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 13:23Speaker 3: And I think within that framework, what I'm very curious
- 13:27Speaker 3: about is, you know, Sark has had a tendency as
- 13:33Speaker 3: a play caller throughout his career. When he gets behind
- 13:36Speaker 3: in a game, he can kind of abandon the run.
- 13:39Speaker 4: A little bit.
- 13:40Speaker 3: And I think they got so far behind so early
- 13:43Speaker 3: against Ohio state that it was kind of impossible to
- 13:47Speaker 3: abandon the run because they there was just so many
- 13:49Speaker 3: drives left.
- 13:50Speaker 4: Right. And they, they, he did a good job.
- 13:52Speaker 3: I think of, of utilizing Hollywood Brown and relief and
- 13:57Speaker 3: keeping the run game as a legitimate part of the
- 14:00Speaker 3: offensive threat.
- 14:03Speaker 4: In this game on the road in Knoxville.
- 14:05Speaker 3: Like I've, I've been to Tennessee a number of times
- 14:09Speaker 3: where they get ahead against Georgia and Georgia's obviously handled
- 14:13Speaker 3: those situations well, but like that is a place where
- 14:17Speaker 3: they're going to, feel good coming into this matchup anyways
- 14:20Speaker 3: because of all the reasons you just explained.
- 14:22Speaker 4: And sort of it feels like.
- 14:24Speaker 3: They've kind of built this roster back up a little
- 14:27Speaker 3: bit from 22 and 23. And now we're here. And
- 14:32Speaker 3: I just am very curious, how does Texas respond from
- 14:38Speaker 3: a play calling standpoint if Tennessee does get an early
- 14:41Speaker 3: lead in this game? Does Texas stay committed to the run?
- 14:44Speaker 3: Because they need to. And I think if you look
- 14:46Speaker 3: at this Tennessee– defense to this point in the year,
- 14:51Speaker 3: their rush success rate allowed.
- 14:52Speaker 4: Has not been great.
- 14:54Speaker 3: They're allowing 50% of plays against the run to stay
- 14:59Speaker 3: on schedule or ahead of schedule. And that's not what
- 15:05Speaker 3: you want in this game. I think if you're Texas,
- 15:08Speaker 3: you do not want to get over here and let's
- 15:11Speaker 3: let Arch throw the ball 40 times like he did
- 15:14Speaker 3: at Florida last year. And I do think that that
- 15:17Speaker 3: might be where this kind of breaks down in favor
- 15:20Speaker 3: of Texas is Texas' defense has been pretty balanced in
- 15:23Speaker 3: terms of sort of allowing things. They've been good against
- 15:29Speaker 3: the run and the pass for the most part. And
- 15:31Speaker 3: I just think that this game will probably come down to,
- 15:37Speaker 3: you know, does Tennessee have the ability to hit a
- 15:42Speaker 3: couple of explosive plays and flip the field? if they're
- 15:44Speaker 3: not going to get turnovers or, or get the ball
- 15:48Speaker 3: in some way off of special teams in Texas side
- 15:52Speaker 3: of the field.
- 15:53Speaker 4: Is there a world where Brandon can hit.
- 15:57Speaker 3: Two of these shots, you know, one, one in each half,
- 16:00Speaker 3: like can he hit Mike Matthews and, and, and turn
- 16:04Speaker 3: this thing around?
- 16:05Speaker 4: And I think it's possible.
- 16:06Speaker 3: He can certainly make those throws, but how, how Hypel
- 16:10Speaker 3: manages all this with Deshaun Bishop. And the other thing
- 16:13Speaker 3: about this game too, is, Both these teams have played
- 16:17Speaker 3: at less than 25 seconds or right at 25 seconds
- 16:20Speaker 3: per play so far this year.
- 16:22Speaker 4: So like this is going to be a lot.
- 16:24Speaker 3: Of possessions for a college football game in the year
- 16:27Speaker 3: 2026 with the clock rules.
- 16:29Speaker 4: And the first downs that we have now.
- 16:32Speaker 3: And I'm very, very curious what that looks like because
- 16:37Speaker 3: Tennessee's also had the ability to have this explosive rush, right?
- 16:42Speaker 4: Like they've been really good on the ground.
- 16:44Speaker 3: And I know that the ground keeps the clock running,
- 16:48Speaker 3: but with the pace they play at, I saw this
- 16:51Speaker 3: against Georgia last year. Like if they can script this
- 16:53Speaker 3: game out well and use their run game the way
- 16:56Speaker 3: that they want to against Texas front, then you're going
- 16:59Speaker 3: to get to the fourth quarter and Texas is going
- 17:00Speaker 3: to be tired. And so is Tennessee and who kind
- 17:04Speaker 3: of manages their drives early, not just to score points,
- 17:07Speaker 3: but to rack up some of those body blows is
- 17:10Speaker 3: going to.
- 17:10Speaker 4: Be something to monitor as this game goes on.
- 17:13Speaker 1: Derek Owings, um, I don't know how many times we're
- 17:16Speaker 1: going to talk about a strength and conditioning coach, but
- 17:18Speaker 1: Derek Owings took over strength and conditioning there from Indiana.
- 17:21Speaker 1: And if it is a fourth quarter game, you know,
- 17:23Speaker 1: obviously he has not been there for a super extended
- 17:25Speaker 1: period of time, but how, how does that maybe factor
- 17:28Speaker 1: in if, if some of those body blows start to
- 17:30Speaker 1: hit three and a half points for, I'm sorry, five
- 17:32Speaker 1: and a half points for Texas in this.
- 17:34Speaker 2: I think that's too many.
- 17:35Speaker 1: I think Tennessee covers this spread and I don't know
- 17:40Speaker 1: if I've told you this or not, but I'm going
- 17:41Speaker 1: to the game in Knoxville. I'm not putting on, I'm
- 17:43Speaker 1: not putting on either shade of orange because I am
- 17:47Speaker 1: vehemently opposed to that.
- 17:49Speaker 2: But I will be at this game.
- 17:51Speaker 1: I don't know if I'm just trying to will it
- 17:52Speaker 1: to happen or not, but I will take the Volunteers
- 17:54Speaker 1: with the upset. I'm tired of going chalk every single week.
- 17:57Speaker 1: I think the conditions are there and primed for an upset.
- 18:00Speaker 1: I think Texas is the better team. I think Tennessee
- 18:02Speaker 1: just needs to be the better team for like 35
- 18:04Speaker 1: minutes on Saturday, and I think they find a way
- 18:06Speaker 1: to get it done.
- 18:07Speaker 2: So give me the Vols on the money line. What
- 18:09Speaker 2: you got?
- 18:11Speaker 4: I am.
- 18:13Speaker 3: very much in the same boat of thinking that you are.
- 18:17Speaker 3: I do like Tennessee to cover this spread. I think
- 18:21Speaker 3: this game comes down to a field goal, special teams,
- 18:25Speaker 3: something like that.
- 18:28Speaker 4: In that scenario, I really want to pick Texas in
- 18:35Speaker 4: this spot.
- 18:36Speaker 3: I want to pick Arch. I want to pick the experience,
- 18:39Speaker 3: but I don't know, man. Maybe there's something a little
- 18:42Speaker 3: cosmic here. We've had a lot of really good analytical
- 18:45Speaker 3: analysis in this preview.
- 18:48Speaker 4: I'm going to go off the rails here. But I
- 18:50Speaker 4: don't know.
- 18:51Speaker 3: Maybe there's a little cosmic Manning thing at play here.
- 18:54Speaker 4: But I do just have a.
- 18:57Speaker 3: Feeling about Tennessee in this football game that I can't shake.
- 19:02Speaker 3: And I keep trying to shake it with Faison Brandon's
- 19:06Speaker 3: inexperience and Tennessee's rush success rate allowed. So I'm going
- 19:11Speaker 3: to follow the formula and the recipe and say like
- 19:15Speaker 3: Texas wins this game by three and it turns into
- 19:19Speaker 3: kind of a shootout and this total goes over of 57.
- 19:23Speaker 4: And that's what I'm going to say. But I do think.
- 19:26Speaker 3: That we're one arch decision or one shanked pun or
- 19:34Speaker 3: one thing away from.
- 19:35Speaker 4: This fall in Tennessee's way.
- 19:37Speaker 3: So I very much think that upset conditions are ripe
- 19:41Speaker 3: on Saturday.
- 19:42Speaker 1: Yeah, I agree with you. This was a really good
- 19:45Speaker 1: analytical breakdown. My head says Texas, but I'm going 100%.
- 19:50Speaker 2: Vibes play here. Sometimes you just gotta.
- 19:52Speaker 1: My head's wrong a lot, so maybe that's a good
- 19:55Speaker 1: way to look at things.
- 19:57Speaker 2: Hey, don't agree that hard.
- 19:59Speaker 4: I'm talking about me, personally, in my life. I was
- 20:02Speaker 4: thinking about my wife, honestly, when.
- 20:03Speaker 2: You said that. But yeah, complete vibes play. Shout out
- 20:08Speaker 2: Dolly Parton.
