In Italian, we say 'a' before the month. So 'in January' is 'a gennaio'. Luna: A gennaio. So 'in February' would be 'a febbraio'? Lucas: Right. 'A febbraio'. But for months that start with a vowel, like 'aprile', we often say 'in aprile' instead of 'a aprile' to avoid two vowels in a row. Luna: Ah, so 'in aprile'? That makes sense. Lucas: Yes, exactly. So you have two options: 'a' for most months, but 'in' for months starting with a vowel: aprile, agosto. Let's practice: 'in April'? Luna: In aprile. Lucas: In August? Luna: In agosto. Lucas: Good.
