- 0:08Speaker 1: Schedule advice for sure. It's time nice from no no, no, no, no,
- 0:15Speaker 1: and no and no and no. Welcome to the naughty
- 0:17Speaker 1: but nice sham your house, rob Shooter. You can tell
- 0:20Speaker 1: today that I have got a sore throat because yesterday
- 0:23Speaker 1: was my mommy's ninety eighth nine zero birthday. That's why
- 0:28Speaker 1: I'm in Britain visiting my mom my sister Christine. We
- 0:30Speaker 1: had the most amazing day. We didn't go out to
- 0:33Speaker 1: a rock concert or to a nightclub. So when you
- 0:36Speaker 1: wake up this morning with a sore throat, you know
- 0:39Speaker 1: it's from just chatting and laughing and having a brilliant day.
- 0:43Speaker 1: So I love you mom, I love you Christine. I'm
- 0:46Speaker 1: flying back today, so we'll have a new live show
- 0:50Speaker 1: tomorrow morning from from New York. But it's been a
- 0:53Speaker 1: fantastic trip. Anybody that has been following me on substag
- 0:58Speaker 1: can see some of the update. It's some of the
- 1:00Speaker 1: fun we've been having here. Robshooter dot substack dot car Merchay.
- 1:04Speaker 1: Let's jump into our show. What time is it? My friends?
- 1:08Speaker 1: It is tea time really sad story. At the top
- 1:11Speaker 1: of the show, James van der Beek has passed away.
- 1:15Speaker 1: His final act courage until the end. Heartbreaking news James
- 1:20Speaker 1: has died at just forty eight after a battle with cancer,
- 1:26Speaker 1: and those close to him say that he faced his
- 1:29Speaker 1: final chapter with extraordinary grace. The former team Idol wasn't
- 1:35Speaker 1: just Dawson, Oh Dawson's creek. I love that show. He
- 1:39Speaker 1: was a devoted husband, hands on dad, and a man
- 1:44Speaker 1: who chose honesty when it would have been easier, it
- 1:47Speaker 1: could have been easier to hide. In recent months, he
- 1:51Speaker 1: opened up about his health and even auction toff memorabilia
- 1:56Speaker 1: to help others fighting with the same disease. This isn't
- 2:00Speaker 1: about fame. This was about family, about time, about meaning
- 2:04Speaker 1: gone too soon but remembered for more than a creak.
- 2:10Speaker 1: This story made me absolutely gag. However, I shouldn't be
- 2:16Speaker 1: surprised because I know her very well and she is difficult.
- 2:19Speaker 1: Jill Zarn has already been fired. You remember her from
- 2:23Speaker 1: the Real Housewives of New York the original cast. She
- 2:25Speaker 1: was fired from that show probably a decade ago. Now
- 2:29Speaker 1: she's coming back to TV and was meant to be
- 2:31Speaker 1: coming back to TV in a new series on E
- 2:34Speaker 1: called The Golden Life. He had hired many of the
- 2:38Speaker 1: former ladies from New York to come back do a
- 2:42Speaker 1: big show. Brather was in talks about this, but they
- 2:45Speaker 1: just couldn't make it work. There's no ratings anymore. The
- 2:48Speaker 1: housewives are not what they were. They focused grouped this
- 2:51Speaker 1: and actually there was not that much interest in seeing
- 2:54Speaker 1: the show. I think it's lovely to reminisce about Jill,
- 2:57Speaker 1: Bethany Lu and Ramone Alex, But in reality, do I
- 3:03Speaker 1: want to go back there? Probably not. He said we'll
- 3:06Speaker 1: give you a go, and Jil Saren has been fired.
- 3:09Speaker 1: Fired from that before the show even began taping. Following
- 3:14Speaker 1: her rant about Bad Buddy's Super Bowl halftime show, the
- 3:19Speaker 1: former housewife is speaking out of course. She is saying
- 3:24Speaker 1: they didn't even give me a chance. She notes that
- 3:27Speaker 1: she deleted the video and she said she made a
- 3:29Speaker 1: mistake and I'm human. So the good part about this
- 3:31Speaker 1: is that Jill acknowledges what she posted wasn't right, wasn't kind,
- 3:36Speaker 1: was actually racist, some people have said. And she acknowledges
- 3:40Speaker 1: that there were problems with her comments, with what she
- 3:44Speaker 1: said because she deleted the video, So she didn't delete
- 3:47Speaker 1: the video after she got fired. Before she got fired,
- 3:51Speaker 1: she knew that she had said some toxic stuff, deleted
- 3:54Speaker 1: the video, and now she admits she said I made
- 3:56Speaker 1: a mistake. I'm human. However, the producers ties with her.
- 4:01Speaker 1: They usuld a statement saying Kurt in light of recent comments,
- 4:06Speaker 1: Jill called the halftime performance the worst halftime show ever
- 4:10Speaker 1: ooh and questioned its cultural and political tone. They have
- 4:15Speaker 1: cut ties with Jill Zaren twenty twenty six. The Internet
- 4:19Speaker 1: moves fasts, but networks move even faster. He isn't as
- 4:24Speaker 1: controversial as Bravo. They used to be owned by the
- 4:26Speaker 1: same company, by NBC. They were all in thirty racket
- 4:30Speaker 1: in New York. But they've split off of the company.
- 4:33Speaker 1: MSNBC and E have got in one direction, NBC and
- 4:36Speaker 1: Bravo and Peacock have gone in another, and so they
- 4:40Speaker 1: have a very different work ethic, work sensibility. What Bravo
- 4:46Speaker 1: loves is messy and sloppy and controversial. There are a
- 4:49Speaker 1: lot of housewives who have been arrested, even gone to jail.
- 4:53Speaker 1: They're still on Bravo. He's not that network. He does
- 4:58Speaker 1: not like the politics. Now, I know you're gonna say
- 5:00Speaker 1: the Kardashians were on E for years. That's a really
- 5:04Speaker 1: interesting example, because the Kardashians never got political. Part of
- 5:08Speaker 1: their success is they appeal to blue states and red states,
- 5:11Speaker 1: everybody in between. It's about the family. You might not
- 5:15Speaker 1: like them personally, but you really don't know when the
- 5:18Speaker 1: show was on, at least their political views. I know
- 5:21Speaker 1: they've made endorsements on social media. I know they've reached
- 5:25Speaker 1: out supported different candidates, but to actually look at the show,
- 5:28Speaker 1: if you look at the Kardashian Show, there is very
- 5:32Speaker 1: little politics in it. I use it forgive forgive the
- 5:36Speaker 1: comparison as a little bit of a prototype for our podcast.
- 5:40Speaker 1: We don't try and talk at least we try not
- 5:42Speaker 1: to talk politics. It gets difficult sometimes because Trump was
- 5:46Speaker 1: an entertainer for many years. I've known him for decades
- 5:49Speaker 1: as the host of The Celebrity Apprentice and really an
- 5:52Speaker 1: entertainer like a reality star here in New York, So
- 5:55Speaker 1: it gets a little bit cloudy there. However, the Kardashians
- 5:58Speaker 1: did a really good job for over for a decade
- 6:00Speaker 1: staying out of politics on the show. That's what E likes.
- 6:04Speaker 1: I know people who have worked for E, who have
- 6:07Speaker 1: been on red carpets for E. They don't want controversial questions.
- 6:11Speaker 1: If you work for me and you go to interview
- 6:13Speaker 1: celebrities on a red carpet. I want the SoundBite, I
- 6:17Speaker 1: want the headline. I want to get the clicks. I
- 6:19Speaker 1: want everybody to be like, Wow. There's no one better
- 6:22Speaker 1: at this than my friend Nicki Gostin, who's at Pace six.
- 6:25Speaker 1: She can interview Martha Stewart and make it absolutely riveting
- 6:29Speaker 1: and scandalous. She could interview Julie Andrews and get a headline.
- 6:33Speaker 1: There is nobody that Nicky can't get to say something
- 6:36Speaker 1: a little bit cheeky. She's a wizard at it. He
- 6:38Speaker 1: does not want that vanilla dollar. If you've ever watched
- 6:43Speaker 1: E News, it doesn't exist anymore. But their red carpet
- 6:46Speaker 1: interviews allways quite bland. They rely on celebrities. They do
- 6:52Speaker 1: not want to anger bad Bunny. They don't want to
- 6:55Speaker 1: anger his publicist, his manager, his agent. E is the
- 7:00Speaker 1: most vanilla. It's the people magazine of the TV outlets,
- 7:05Speaker 1: and so this was just a bad fit. It's gonna
- 7:07Speaker 1: be interesting now because Ramona Singer has been accused of racism.
- 7:11Speaker 1: In fact, that's why she got booted from the show.
- 7:15Speaker 1: After they finally got a person of color as a
- 7:18Speaker 1: cast member all blew up. Ramona said really hateful, awful,
- 7:23Speaker 1: disgusting things, and now she's gonna go back with this
- 7:26Speaker 1: reboot on E. So it's gonna be interesting to see
- 7:29Speaker 1: how this all fits together. The sensibility of the show
- 7:33Speaker 1: is not gonna be sloppy, messy, controversial, outrageous housewives. It's
- 7:39Speaker 1: going to be more middle of the road. I don't
- 7:42Speaker 1: know if these ladies can do middle of the road.
- 7:44Speaker 1: They are wildly entertaining, they are wildly outrageous. They are
- 7:49Speaker 1: very controversial, and even though I disagree with so much
- 7:53Speaker 1: of what they do, what they say, how nasty they
- 7:56Speaker 1: are to each other, the throwing stuff, the pulling the hairs,
- 7:59Speaker 1: the name calling, not for me. That is something that
- 8:03Speaker 1: he is going to have to deal with or think
- 8:06Speaker 1: about because they don't like it. Once again, I have
- 8:09Speaker 1: had friends who have worked for E News. They've gone
- 8:12Speaker 1: to interview celebrities and they've come up with really good
- 8:14Speaker 1: questions and he has said, no, no, no, we don't
- 8:17Speaker 1: want those questions. We want very generic, they very soft,
- 8:23Speaker 1: very dull questions. These ladies are lots of things, they
- 8:27Speaker 1: are not dull, which brings us to our pole question
- 8:30Speaker 1: of the day, Jill Zaren is out of the reboot
- 8:34Speaker 1: of the Real Housewives. Do you think more ladies will
- 8:37Speaker 1: get fired? They won't tolerate the shenanigans that Andy Cohen
- 8:42Speaker 1: not only tolerates, he encourages. Andy knows how to make press,
- 8:46Speaker 1: Andy knows how to create drama, and he knows how
- 8:48Speaker 1: to create TV that works. We say that we don't
- 8:51Speaker 1: like it, but we watch it. We don't watch it
- 8:54Speaker 1: when they try to become really, really nice. It's a floor,
- 9:00Speaker 1: isn't it. In our viewing habits that the more mean,
- 9:03Speaker 1: the more outrage as often the higher the ratings. Not
- 9:07Speaker 1: for e hey, go vote on our Twitter page had
- 9:10Speaker 1: naughty nice rob Facebook page is naughty gossip? I'm be sure.
- 9:15Speaker 1: Did you check back Tom Rower to hear your results.
- 9:18Speaker 1: We have an update on the driver who was detained
- 9:21Speaker 1: and released in the Nancy Guthrie case. So he was
- 9:25Speaker 1: a door dash driver and the stakes here are higher
- 9:30Speaker 1: than ever. We are still searching for Nancy, but we
- 9:33Speaker 1: appear to be back at square one. Carlos was a
- 9:36Speaker 1: thirty six year old door dash driver who declined to
- 9:39Speaker 1: give his last name, but was interviewed. He was detained
- 9:42Speaker 1: on Tuesday in connection with the disappearance, and after several
- 9:46Speaker 1: hours he was released from custody without charges. He said
- 9:50Speaker 1: I didn't do anything. He insisted that he may have
- 9:54Speaker 1: been delivering packages in Tucson, but I had no connection
- 9:57Speaker 1: to Nancy. Door Dash has put out of statement saying
- 10:01Speaker 1: we are urgently investigating reports that an individual detained in
- 10:05Speaker 1: relation to the Nancy Guthrie case was a delivery driver.
- 10:09Speaker 1: Our hearts are with the Guffree family. So no charges,
- 10:12Speaker 1: no suspect name, and still no answers. Absolutely terrifying. It
- 10:17Speaker 1: does appear, though, as if this guy was just doing
- 10:20Speaker 1: his job and had nothing to do with this, which
- 10:23Speaker 1: is really nice to know that this is a good guy.
- 10:27Speaker 1: What's really hard to know is it does appear that
- 10:31Speaker 1: we are back at square one. The Feds have traced
- 10:36Speaker 1: the glove and a gun, so that is something that
- 10:40Speaker 1: I think we can hold onto a little bit here,
- 10:43Speaker 1: just little bits of evidence. So investigators are zeroing in
- 10:47Speaker 1: and this time it's not just about a suspect, it's
- 10:49Speaker 1: about the details. Sources tell TMZ they've been doing an
- 10:53Speaker 1: amazing job on this. If you want to follow this,
- 10:57Speaker 1: this ongoing investigation, this awful, awful stuf TMZ have insiders
- 11:02Speaker 1: within the police force that are just extraordinary. They are
- 11:06Speaker 1: so good at doing this. This is why they always
- 11:08Speaker 1: break which celebrity has passed away, because they have sources
- 11:13Speaker 1: in ambulances, in hospitals, in police departments. So TMZ are
- 11:17Speaker 1: reporting that the FBI and the County Sheriff's department are
- 11:21Speaker 1: tracking three key items seen on the doorbell footage of
- 11:26Speaker 1: the person that was at her doorstep breaking her camera
- 11:32Speaker 1: in the wee hours of the morning. So they've zoomed in.
- 11:35Speaker 1: They managed to figure out to get the footage. Initially
- 11:39Speaker 1: there was no footage there, but they really got great
- 11:42Speaker 1: it people investigators to come up with some images. We
- 11:46Speaker 1: talked about this yesterday. Hopefully you've seen the images, very
- 11:49Speaker 1: very grainy. There wear a sche mask and so it's
- 11:53Speaker 1: hard to see any face. Hopefully somebody recognizes this person.
- 11:57Speaker 1: We do have them walking towards the doors. We see
- 12:00Speaker 1: what they move like. Sometimes you can tell somebody by
- 12:03Speaker 1: the way they move or the police are zeroing in
- 12:06Speaker 1: because on the footage are some very distinctive gloves, a backpack,
- 12:12Speaker 1: and a gun. And now the manufacturers and the retails
- 12:17Speaker 1: retailers of all these items are being traced to see
- 12:21Speaker 1: who might have purchased this distinctive gear. Now, the holster
- 12:25Speaker 1: appears to be polyester, typically used to a revolver, yet
- 12:30Speaker 1: the weapon looks like a semi automatic handgun. That miss
- 12:35Speaker 1: match could actually matter a lot. My police insiders tell
- 12:39Speaker 1: me it's when something is a little off that's when
- 12:42Speaker 1: it's easier to find people. If they have video of
- 12:45Speaker 1: your car and something's broken on it, it helps them
- 12:49Speaker 1: check it down. So when things are perfect, it's more problematic.
- 12:53Speaker 1: It's when things are a little off that the police
- 12:55Speaker 1: can really jump in and investigate. I know it sounds
- 12:58Speaker 1: as if we are literally classing extraws here, and I
- 13:02Speaker 1: think there's some truth to that. This has been going
- 13:05Speaker 1: on now for way too long. Oh it gets me
- 13:07Speaker 1: emotional just thinking about this beautiful woman in her eighties.
- 13:12Speaker 1: She went to bed and then her life changed forever.
- 13:18Speaker 1: I know Savannah has had a wedding with her just
- 13:21Speaker 1: six months ago. What a class act, What a cool person.
- 13:24Speaker 1: I ended up spending a little bit of the evening
- 13:27Speaker 1: with her husband and he's a real gentleman too. Just heartbreaking. Quickly,
- 13:32Speaker 1: before we get a break, Britney Spears has cashed out
- 13:35Speaker 1: selling her iconic catalog for a reporting nine figures. So
- 13:40Speaker 1: Brittany Is officially has officially signed her legendary music catalog
- 13:45Speaker 1: in what insiders is saying could be a landmark nine
- 13:48Speaker 1: figure deal. The Princess of pop. I think it's fair
- 13:51Speaker 1: to call her that has transferred her publishing shares to
- 13:54Speaker 1: Primary Wave. This is a big investment company. A big
- 13:57Speaker 1: company has a ton of money buys up the catalogs.
- 14:01Speaker 1: They're saying it's in the ballpark of Justin Bieber's. I
- 14:03Speaker 1: don't think that is true. Let me tell you why.
- 14:05Speaker 1: Justin Bieber pretty much wrote those songs. Those big hits
- 14:09Speaker 1: that he had were all his songs. Britney did not
- 14:12Speaker 1: write her own material. Of very few songs she actually wrote,
- 14:18Speaker 1: and of the big hits baby one more Time and
- 14:21Speaker 1: Upsetting It Again and Toxic, No, she didn't write those.
- 14:25Speaker 1: And so this deal, I don't understand the finances of it.
- 14:29Speaker 1: I know I'm married to a songwriter. I understand publishing
- 14:33Speaker 1: very well. Bruce has never sold his publishing, so he's
- 14:36Speaker 1: held onto that. His collaborators and people he's worked with
- 14:39Speaker 1: have sold theirs, and I know what they got for it.
- 14:41Speaker 1: So I have a really good sense. It's many millions
- 14:44Speaker 1: of dollars. I don't think it's two hundred million because
- 14:48Speaker 1: she didn't write the hits. Now Britney had penned those
- 14:51Speaker 1: monster monster hits, Yes, I think I would believe it.
- 14:55Speaker 1: But that's a large amount for a singer, not a songwriter,
- 14:59Speaker 1: a singer. And remember then they're buying the songs, so
- 15:02Speaker 1: they're going to have to do a separate deal with
- 15:05Speaker 1: whoever wrote those songs, the lyricist, the musician, the composer.
- 15:11Speaker 1: And so Brittany, I'm glad you got some money. We
- 15:13Speaker 1: know here that she's been struggling a little bit. She
- 15:16Speaker 1: lives a very big life and no money's been coming
- 15:18Speaker 1: in for about eight nine years. She hasn't been touring,
- 15:20Speaker 1: she hasn't been recording, so she needs the cash. And
- 15:24Speaker 1: I'm sure she got a lot, but maybe not quite
- 15:26Speaker 1: as much as you are. Okay, we're going to take
- 15:29Speaker 1: a quick day and we'll be right back. Welcome back
- 15:33Speaker 1: to the Multi Nishan Husband shoot. So we don't have
- 15:36Speaker 1: a poll today. We don't do polls when we do
- 15:38Speaker 1: really serious subject matters, and yesterday we were really focused
- 15:42Speaker 1: on the horrific situation with Savannah Guffrey and her mommy.
- 15:46Speaker 1: But today we do have a poll. Jill Zaren Real
- 15:49Speaker 1: Housewives already been fired. Jill is problem Jill and Beth
- 15:53Speaker 1: and they are cut from the same cloth. That's why
- 15:55Speaker 1: they don't speak to one another. I've known both of
- 15:58Speaker 1: them for years. I like more, but I've got to
- 16:02Speaker 1: admit they both are sort of opposite sides of the
- 16:05Speaker 1: same coin and already fired before the show has begun.
- 16:10Speaker 1: Will other ladies get the acts too? They're controversial ladies,
- 16:13Speaker 1: and for a decade they have been rewarded. They have
- 16:16Speaker 1: been given a lot of money, lots of rewards, lots
- 16:18Speaker 1: of fame, lots of power from being outrageous. You don't
- 16:21Speaker 1: want that. I think you might have signed up the
- 16:24Speaker 1: wrong show. Hey, go vote on our Twitter page. I
- 16:27Speaker 1: had Naughty Nice rob Our facebook page is Nordy Gossip,
- 16:30Speaker 1: and be sure to check back to my row to
- 16:32Speaker 1: hear your results are now little controversial, But go with
- 16:36Speaker 1: me for a moment. And nicest of the day, ah wow,
- 16:41Speaker 1: and nicest of the day is Brandy Lansville, another former
- 16:44Speaker 1: housewife who's defending Jill Zaren now. She says that she
- 16:49Speaker 1: disagrees with almost everything that Jill has said, but it's
- 16:52Speaker 1: still was her right to say it. After Jill was
- 16:56Speaker 1: asked from the E upcoming series over controversial moments about
- 17:00Speaker 1: Bad Bunny is Super Bowl halftime show, Brandy Glanville stepped
- 17:05Speaker 1: in sort of. The former Real Housewife of Beverly Hills
- 17:09Speaker 1: made it crystal clear that she's a huge Bad Bunny fan.
- 17:13Speaker 1: She loves him, but she insists that Jill is entitled
- 17:16Speaker 1: to her opinion. She said opinions aren't wrong, they're subjective,
- 17:21Speaker 1: and she goes on to add that Jill explained herself
- 17:27Speaker 1: and who did he think they were hiring? It's Jill Saron.
- 17:31Speaker 1: Just one Google search will show you she has strong opinions.
- 17:34Speaker 1: What I like about this is that I'm on Brandy's
- 17:38Speaker 1: side here. I really love Bad Bunny. I thought it
- 17:41Speaker 1: was one of the best halftime shows ever, and the
- 17:43Speaker 1: numbers sort of back it up. I think it is
- 17:45Speaker 1: the most watched halftime show of all time. However, I
- 17:49Speaker 1: do think people are allowed to an opinion, and more
- 17:51Speaker 1: importantly than that, I like it when friends defend friends,
- 17:55Speaker 1: even if you disagree with what they say, that you
- 17:58Speaker 1: can still defend them. It's so easy to walk away
- 18:01Speaker 1: when a friend says something stupid, when they go down
- 18:03Speaker 1: a rabbit hole, when they say something that they didn't mean,
- 18:06Speaker 1: it's easy to cut and run. Brandy didn't do that
- 18:09Speaker 1: and she didn't need to speak out, but she did
- 18:11Speaker 1: for her friends. So this one is more about friendship
- 18:13Speaker 1: for me than bad Bunnie and nice is the day
- 18:15Speaker 1: Now I naught is the dayt Noddy. Zane Mallick from
- 18:19Speaker 1: one direction is saying that he wasn't in love with Gigi,
- 18:23Speaker 1: had died, and he's done with public romances, so he
- 18:27Speaker 1: said the former one direction, Hart Frog emitted he was
- 18:30Speaker 1: never truly in love with Gigi Ouch Quickly, though, he
- 18:36Speaker 1: did clarify, saying he always loves her as the mother
- 18:40Speaker 1: of his child, just wasn't in love with her. As
- 18:43Speaker 1: for the future, no more public relationships, he said, they
- 18:46Speaker 1: don't work for him. What makes me laugh here and
- 18:48Speaker 1: what makes him the naughties of the day is he
- 18:50Speaker 1: did this publicly. For somebody who wants privacy in their
- 18:53Speaker 1: private life, stop giving interviews about your love life. You
- 18:57Speaker 1: can't have it both ways. You can't do interviews where
- 19:00Speaker 1: you talk about wanting privacy and then not be happy
- 19:04Speaker 1: if we don't give it to you. He is a
- 19:07Speaker 1: little stinker and on an awful thing to say about
- 19:10Speaker 1: the mother of his children, and it's not a bad business.
- 19:13Speaker 1: It could be true. He might never have been in
- 19:16Speaker 1: love with her. Totally true. Why are you telling people that?
- 19:19Speaker 1: Why did you need to say that publicly? And nauteus
- 19:23Speaker 1: the day? Let's end with a moment of Rob. You
- 19:25Speaker 1: rob your rub. The quickest way to succeed is to
- 19:28Speaker 1: start now and figure it out as you go. You
