  budget
• 0:38
  didn't
• 0:38
  feel
• 0:39
  restrictive

  but
• 0:39
  actually
• 0:40
  felt
• 0:40
  like
• 0:41
  relief?
• 0:42
  What
• 0:42
  if
• 0:43
  in
• 0:43
  one
• 0:43
  evening,
• 0:44
  you
• 0:44
  could
• 0:44
  build
• 0:45
  something
• 0:45
  simple,
• 0:46
  something
• 0:47
  peaceful,
• 0:48
  something
• 0:48
  you'd
• 0:49
  actually
• 0:49
  stick
• 0:49
  with?
• 0:51
  Well,
• 0:51
  if
• 0:51
  you're
• 0:51
  tired
• 0:52
  of
• 0:52
  starting
• 0:52
  over,
• 0:52
  today
• 0:53
  we're
• 0:53
  going
• 0:53
  to
• 0:53
  build
• 0:53
  a
• 0:54
  budget
• 0:54
  that
• 0:54
  finally
• 0:55
  works
• 0:55
  with

  Hello,
• 1:17
  friend.

  Here.
• 1:19
  Welcome
• 1:20
  to

  Financially
• 1:21
  Confident
• 1:21
  Christian,
• 1:22
  where
• 1:22
  every
• 1:22
  day
• 1:23
  my
• 1:23
  goal
• 1:23
  on
• 1:23
  the
• 1:23
  show
• 1:23
  is
• 1:24
  to
• 1:24
  help
• 1:24
  you
• 1:24
  break
• 1:24
  that
• 1:25
  cycle
• 1:25
  of
• 1:25
  financial
• 1:26
  shame
• 1:26
  and
• 1:27
  live
• 1:27
  in
• 1:28
  confidence.
• 1:29
  And
• 1:29
  today
• 1:29
  on
• 1:29
  the
• 1:30
  show,
• 1:30
  I
• 1:30
  want
• 1:30
  to
• 1:30
  talk
• 1:30
  about
• 1:31
  how
• 1:31
  to
• 1:31
  build
• 1:31
  a
• 1:31
  simple
• 1:32
  but
• 1:32
  realistic
• 1:33
  budget
• 1:33
  in
• 1:33
  just
• 1:34
  one
• 1:34
  night.
• 1:35
  Well,
• 1:35
  let's
• 1:35
  get
• 1:36
  into
• 1:36
  to
• 1:36
  today's
• 1:37
  listener
• 1:37
  question.

  Ralph
• 1:40
  I
• 1:40
  want
• 1:40
  a
• 1:41
  budget,
• 1:42
  but
• 1:42
  not
• 1:42
  one
• 1:42
  that
• 1:42
  feels
• 1:43
  tight
• 1:43
  or
• 1:43
  punishing.
• 1:44
  I
• 1:45
  want
• 1:45
  something
• 1:45
  that
• 1:45
  brings
• 1:46
  peace,
• 1:46
  not
• 1:47
  pressure,
• 1:48
  something
• 1:48
  I
• 1:48
  can
• 1:49
  actually
• 1:49
  live
• 1:49
  with.
• 1:50
  Every
• 1:50
  time
• 1:51
  I
• 1:51
  try,
• 1:51
  it
• 1:52
  ends
• 1:52
  up
• 1:52
  feeling
• 1:52
  restrictive
• 1:54
  and
• 1:54
  I
• 1:54
  fall
• 1:54
  off.
• 1:55
  I
• 1:56
  don't
• 1:56
  want
• 1:56
  another
• 1:56
  system
• 1:57
  I
• 1:57
  abandon.
• 1:58
  How
• 1:58
  do
• 1:59
  I
• 1:59
  set
• 1:59
  up
• 1:59
  a
• 1:59
  simple,
• 2:00
  realistic
• 2:01
  budget
• 2:02
  in
• 2:02
  one
• 2:02
  evening
• 2:03
  that
• 2:03
  I
• 2:03
  can
• 2:03
  truly
• 2:04
  stick
• 2:04
  with?
• 2:06
  And
• 2:06
  I'm
• 2:07
  so
• 2:07
  happy
• 2:07
  you
• 2:07
  said
• 2:07
  that
• 2:08
  because
• 2:09
  that's
• 2:09
  the
• 2:09
  key
• 2:09
  to
• 2:09
  the
• 2:09
  whole
• 2:10
  thing.
• 2:11
  You've
• 2:11
  got
• 2:12
  to
• 2:12
  stick
• 2:12
  with
• 2:12
  this.
• 2:13
  A
• 2:13
  budget
• 2:14
  shouldn't
• 2:14
  feel
• 2:14
  like
• 2:14
  punishment.
• 2:16
  If
• 2:16
  you're
• 2:16
  going
• 2:17
  to
• 2:17
  do
• 2:17
  this
• 2:17
  right,
• 2:17
  it
• 2:18
  should
• 2:18
  be
• 2:18
  a
• 2:18
  permission
• 2:19
  slip.
• 2:19
  Remember
• 2:20
  when
• 2:20
  you
• 2:20
  were
• 2:20
  a
• 2:20
  kid
• 2:20
  and
• 2:21
  you
• 2:21
  had
• 2:21
  to
• 2:21
  get
• 2:21
  a
• 2:22
  permission
• 2:22
  slip?
• 2:23
  This
• 2:23
  is
• 2:23
  what
• 2:24
  a
• 2:24
  budget
• 2:24
  should
• 2:24
  be.
• 2:25
  A
• 2:25
  budget
• 2:26
  is
• 2:26
  a
• 2:26
  permission
• 2:27
  to
• 2:27
  spend
• 2:27
  with
• 2:27
  clarity
• 2:28
  and
• 2:29
  a
• 2:29
  permission
• 2:29
  to
• 2:29
  live
• 2:30
  a
• 2:30
  life
• 2:30
  without
• 2:31
  fear.
• 2:32
  So
• 2:32
  here's
• 2:33
  today's
• 2:33
  big
• 2:33
  idea.
• 2:35
  A
• 2:35
  sustainable
• 2:36
  budget
• 2:36
  is
• 2:37
  built
• 2:37
  on
• 2:37
  honesty
• 2:38
  and
• 2:38
  simplicity,
• 2:40
  not
• 2:40
  restriction.
• 2:41
  But
• 2:42
  how
• 2:42
  do
• 2:42
  we
• 2:42
  get
• 2:42
  there?
• 2:42
  So
• 2:43
  here's
• 2:43
  how
• 2:43
  we
• 2:43
  get
• 2:43
  there.
• 2:44
  You
• 2:44
  got
• 2:44
  to
• 2:45
  start
• 2:45
  with
• 2:45
  what's
• 2:45
  real,
• 2:46
  not
• 2:46
  what
• 2:47
  should
• 2:47
  be.
• 2:48
  And
• 2:48
  unfortunately,
• 2:49
  this
• 2:49
  is
• 2:49
  where
• 2:49
  a
• 2:49
  lot
• 2:49
  of
• 2:50
  people
• 2:50
  go
• 2:50
  wrong.
• 2:51
  So
• 2:51
  many
• 2:52
  people
• 2:52
  that
• 2:52
  I've
• 2:52
  worked
• 2:53
  with,
• 2:53
  they
• 2:53
  build
• 2:54
  a
• 2:54
  budget
• 2:54
  based
• 2:55
  on
• 2:55
  what
• 2:55
  they
• 2:55
  wish
• 2:56
  they
• 2:56
  did.
• 2:57
  Well,
• 2:58
  wishes
• 2:58
  are
• 2:58
  great,
• 2:59
  but
• 2:59
  that's
• 3:00
  not
• 3:00
  actually
• 3:00
  what
• 3:00
  you
• 3:01
  do.
• 3:02
  So
• 3:02
  you
• 3:02
  got
• 3:03
  to
• 3:03
  start
• 3:03
  with
• 3:03
  reality.
• 3:05
  Go
• 3:05
  look
• 3:05
  at
• 3:05
  the
• 3:06
  last
• 3:06
  30
• 3:06
  days
• 3:07
  of
• 3:07
  your
• 3:07
  actual
• 3:08
  financial
• 3:09
  life.
• 3:10
  Look
• 3:10
  at
• 3:11
  where
• 3:11
  you're
• 3:11
  spending
• 3:11
  your
• 3:11
  money.
• 3:12
  Look
• 3:13
  at
• 3:13
  what
• 3:13
  you're
• 3:13
  spending
• 3:14
  on
• 3:14
  housing
• 3:15
  and
• 3:15
  groceries,
• 3:17
  eating
• 3:17
  out,
• 3:18
  subscriptions,
• 3:19
  everything.
• 3:20
  This
• 3:21
  isn't
• 3:21
  a
• 3:21
  time
• 3:21
  for
• 3:22
  judgment.
• 3:22
  It's
• 3:22
  just
• 3:23
  a
• 3:23
  time
• 3:23
  to
• 3:23
  go
• 3:23
  find
• 3:24
  truth.
• 3:25
  As
• 3:26
  the
• 3:26
  detective
• 3:27
  would
• 3:27
  say,
• 3:27
  just
• 3:27
  the
• 3:28
  facts.
• 3:29
  Because
• 3:30
  if
• 3:30
  you
• 3:30
  build
• 3:30
  a
• 3:31
  budget
• 3:31
  on
• 3:31
  truth,
• 3:32
  you're
• 3:33
  actually
• 3:33
  going
• 3:33
  to
• 3:33
  follow
• 3:34
  it.
• 3:34
  Not
• 3:35
  some
• 3:35
  big
• 3:35
  pie
• 3:36
  in
• 3:36
  the
• 3:36
  sky
• 3:36
  idea.
• 3:37
  That's
• 3:37
  the
• 3:37
  thing
• 3:37
  that
• 3:38
  I
• 3:38
  think
• 3:38
  most
• 3:39
  people
• 3:39
  fail
• 3:39
  with
• 3:40
  their
• 3:40
  budgets
• 3:40
  because
• 3:40
  they
• 3:41
  go
• 3:41
  into
• 3:41
  a
• 3:41
  budget
• 3:41
  with
• 3:42
  the
• 3:42
  thought
• 3:42
  of,
• 3:42
  well,
• 3:42
  I'm
• 3:43
  going
• 3:43
  to
• 3:43
  do
• 3:43
  this
• 3:43
  and
• 3:44
  I'm
• 3:44
  going
• 3:44
  to
• 3:44
  do
• 3:44
  that.
• 3:45
  But
• 3:45
  that's
• 3:46
  not
• 3:46
  reality.
• 3:46
  What's
• 3:47
  going
• 3:47
  on
• 3:47
  in
• 3:48
  real
• 3:48
  life,
• 3:48
  in
• 3:48
  your
• 3:49
  life.
• 3:50
  So
• 3:50
  start
• 3:50
  there,
• 3:51
  go
• 3:51
  look
• 3:51
  at
• 3:51
  the
• 3:51
  reality.
• 3:52
  But
• 3:52
  then
• 3:52
  as
• 3:53
  you
• 3:53
  build
• 3:53
  your
• 3:53
  budget,
• 3:54
  cover
• 3:54
  your
• 3:55
  essentials
• 3:56
  first,
• 3:57
  because
• 3:57
  we've
• 3:57
  got
• 3:57
  to
• 3:57
  get
• 3:58
  things
• 3:58
  organized.
• 3:59
  There
• 3:59
  are
• 3:59
  certain
• 4:00
  things
• 4:00
  in
• 4:00
  your
• 4:00
  budget
• 4:01
  which
• 4:01
  are,
• 4:01
  frankly,
• 4:02
  non
• 4:02
  negotiable.
• 4:03
  These
• 4:04
  are
• 4:04
  things
• 4:04
  you
• 4:04
  can't
• 4:04
  live
• 4:05
  without.
• 4:06
  You've
• 4:06
  got
• 4:06
  to
• 4:06
  have
• 4:06
  a
• 4:07
  place
• 4:07
  to
• 4:07
  live.
• 4:08
  You've
• 4:08
  got
• 4:08
  to
• 4:08
  have
• 4:08
  utilities,
• 4:09
  unless
• 4:09
  you
• 4:09
  want
• 4:10
  to
• 4:10
  live
• 4:10
  in
• 4:10
  the
• 4:10
  dark.
• 4:11
  You
• 4:11
  got
• 4:11
  to
• 4:12
  have
• 4:12
  food,
• 4:12
  because
• 4:13
  guess
• 4:13
  what,
• 4:13
  as
• 4:13
  a
• 4:13
  human
• 4:14
  being,
• 4:14
  your
• 4:14
  body
• 4:14
  requires
• 4:15
  sustenance.
• 4:16
  If
• 4:17
  you're
• 4:17
  working
• 4:18
  outside
• 4:18
  the
• 4:19
  home,
• 4:19
  you
• 4:19
  probably
• 4:19
  need
• 4:19
  transportation
• 4:21
  and
• 4:21
  you
• 4:22
  probably
• 4:22
  should
• 4:22
  have
• 4:22
  insurance.
• 4:23
  Those
• 4:23
  are
• 4:23
  all
• 4:24
  good
• 4:24
  things
• 4:24
  to
• 4:24
  have.
• 4:25
  So
• 4:26
  as
• 4:26
  you're
• 4:26
  building
• 4:26
  your
• 4:27
  budget,
• 4:27
  those
• 4:27
  are
• 4:28
  the
• 4:28
  things
• 4:28
  that
• 4:28
  get
• 4:28
  funded
• 4:29
  first.
• 4:30
  Because
• 4:31
  a
• 4:31
  peaceful
• 4:32
  budget,
• 4:32
  and
• 4:32
  that's
• 4:32
  what
• 4:32
  I
• 4:32
  heard
• 4:33
  in
• 4:33
  your
• 4:33
  question
• 4:33
  today,
• 4:34
  you
• 4:34
  want
• 4:35
  peace
• 4:35
  in
• 4:35
  your
• 4:35
  life.
• 4:37
  A
• 4:37
  peaceful
• 4:37
  budget
• 4:38
  protects
• 4:38
  your
• 4:39
  foundation.
• 4:40
  But
• 4:41
  you've
• 4:41
  also
• 4:41
  got
• 4:41
  to
• 4:41
  build
• 4:42
  in
• 4:42
  real
• 4:42
  life,
• 4:43
  not
• 4:43
  in
• 4:44
  restriction.
• 4:45
  Here's
• 4:46
  the
• 4:46
  key
• 4:46
  to
• 4:46
  sustainability.
• 4:47
  In
• 4:47
  all
• 4:48
  of
• 4:48
  these
• 4:48
  things,
• 4:49
  you've
• 4:49
  got
• 4:50
  to
• 4:50
  include
• 4:50
  the
• 4:51
  things
• 4:51
  you
• 4:51
  actually
• 4:52
  enjoy
• 4:52
  doing.
• 4:54
  The
• 4:54
  number
• 4:55
  one
• 4:55
  thing
• 4:55
  that
• 4:56
  I
• 4:56
  see
• 4:56
  people
• 4:56
  failing
• 4:57
  in
• 4:57
  budgeting
• 4:58
  in
• 4:58
  is
• 4:58
  when
• 4:59
  they
• 4:59
  take
• 4:59
  out
• 5:00
  the
• 5:00
  joy.
• 5:01
  You've
• 5:02
  got
• 5:02
  to
• 5:02
  leave
• 5:02
  that
• 5:02
  joy
• 5:03
  in.
• 5:03
  Hey,
• 5:03
  if
• 5:03
  you
• 5:04
  like
• 5:04
  eating
• 5:04
  out,
• 5:05
  it's
• 5:05
  in
• 5:05
  there.
• 5:06
  If
• 5:06
  you
• 5:06
  like
• 5:07
  coffee,
• 5:07
  it's
• 5:08
  in
• 5:08
  there.
• 5:08
  If
• 5:09
  you
• 5:09
  like
• 5:09
  fun,
• 5:09
  it's
• 5:10
  in
• 5:10
  there.
• 5:12
  But
• 5:12
  you
• 5:12
  measure
• 5:12
  it.
• 5:13
  Because
• 5:14
  truth
• 5:14
  is,
• 5:14
  if
• 5:14
  you
• 5:15
  remove
• 5:15
  everything
• 5:15
  you
• 5:16
  enjoy,
• 5:17
  you're
• 5:18
  going
• 5:18
  to
• 5:18
  rebel
• 5:18
  against
• 5:18
  the
• 5:19
  plan.
• 5:19
  You're
• 5:19
  going
• 5:19
  to
• 5:19
  fight
• 5:20
  your
• 5:20
  own
• 5:20
  plan.
• 5:20
  You're
• 5:21
  going
• 5:21
  to
• 5:21
  go
• 5:21
  into
• 5:22
  battle
• 5:22
  with
• 5:22
  the
• 5:22
  very
• 5:23
  plan
• 5:23
  that
• 5:23
  you
• 5:23
  created
• 5:24
  that
• 5:24
  you
• 5:24
  thought
• 5:24
  was
• 5:25
  going
• 5:25
  to
• 5:25
  work
• 5:25
  for
• 5:25
  you.
• 5:26
  So
• 5:27
  instead
• 5:27
  of
• 5:27
  eliminating
• 5:28
  things,
• 5:28
  assign
• 5:29
  them
• 5:29
  a
• 5:29
  number.
• 5:29
  But
• 5:30
  be
• 5:30
  realistic
• 5:30
  in
• 5:31
  that.
• 5:31
  Pick
• 5:32
  a
• 5:32
  number
• 5:32
  that
• 5:32
  you
• 5:32
  can
• 5:32
  live
• 5:33
  with.
• 5:33
  For
• 5:34
  example,
• 5:34
  maybe
• 5:34
  you
• 5:35
  really
• 5:35
  like
• 5:35
  eating
• 5:35
  out,
• 5:36
  but
• 5:36
  maybe
• 5:36
  you're
• 5:37
  finding,
• 5:37
  I'm
• 5:37
  eating
• 5:37
  out
• 5:38
  six
• 5:38
  days,
• 5:38
  seven
• 5:39
  days
• 5:39
  a
• 5:39
  week.
• 5:39
  There's
• 5:40
  a
• 5:40
  problem.
• 5:41
  But
• 5:41
  maybe
• 5:41
  you
• 5:41
  change
• 5:41
  that
• 5:42
  and
• 5:42
  say,
• 5:42
  hey,
• 5:42
  I'm
• 5:42
  going
• 5:42
  to
• 5:42
  eat
• 5:43
  out
• 5:43
  one
• 5:43
  day
• 5:43
  a
• 5:43
  week.
• 5:45
  But
• 5:45
  you've
• 5:45
  got
• 5:45
  to
• 5:45
  give
• 5:45
  every
• 5:46
  dollar
• 5:46
  some
• 5:46
  simple
• 5:47
  direction
• 5:47
  as
• 5:48
  well.
• 5:48
  One
• 5:48
  of
• 5:48
  the
• 5:48
  things,
• 5:48
  you
• 5:49
  know,
• 5:49
  I
• 5:49
  talk
• 5:49
  about
• 5:49
  on
• 5:49
  the
• 5:49
  show
• 5:50
  all
• 5:50
  the
• 5:50
  time
• 5:50
  is
• 5:50
  clarity.
• 5:52
  Your
• 5:53
  income
• 5:53
  gets
• 5:54
  assigned
• 5:54
  to
• 5:54
  different
• 5:55
  rules,
• 5:55
  different
• 5:56
  things.
• 5:56
  Every
• 5:57
  single
• 5:57
  dollar
• 5:57
  has
• 5:58
  a
• 5:58
  direction.
• 5:59
  Dollars
• 5:59
  get
• 6:00
  assigned
• 6:00
  for
• 6:00
  bills,
• 6:01
  for
• 6:01
  spending,
• 6:02
  for
• 6:02
  savings,
• 6:03
  and
• 6:03
  yes,
• 6:03
  for
• 6:04
  giving.
• 6:05
  And
• 6:06
  this
• 6:06
  budget
• 6:06
  doesn't
• 6:06
  have
• 6:07
  to
• 6:07
  be
• 6:07
  perfect.
• 6:08
  Dare
• 6:08
  I
• 6:08
  say,
• 6:09
  if
• 6:09
  it's
• 6:09
  perfect,
• 6:09
  it's
• 6:10
  probably
• 6:10
  not
• 6:10
  going
• 6:10
  to
• 6:10
  work.
• 6:11
  It
• 6:11
  just
• 6:11
  needs
• 6:12
  direction.
• 6:13
  Because
• 6:14
  when
• 6:14
  money
• 6:14
  has
• 6:14
  a
• 6:14
  place
• 6:15
  to
• 6:15
  go,
• 6:16
  you
• 6:16
  stop
• 6:16
  wondering
• 6:17
  where
• 6:17
  it
• 6:17
  went.
• 6:18
  I
• 6:18
  spent
• 6:18
  some
• 6:18
  time
• 6:19
  with
• 6:19
  my
• 6:19
  youngest
• 6:19
  son
• 6:20
  yesterday.
• 6:21
  And
• 6:21
  I
• 6:21
  said
• 6:21
  to
• 6:22
  him,
• 6:22
  I
• 6:22
  said,
• 6:22
  how's
• 6:22
  the
• 6:22
  budgeting
• 6:23
  going?
• 6:23
  He
• 6:23
  goes,
• 6:23
  dad,
• 6:23
  I
• 6:24
  haven't
• 6:24
  really
• 6:24
  focused
• 6:24
  on
• 6:25
  it.
• 6:25
  And
• 6:25
  now
• 6:25
  he's
• 6:26
  worried
• 6:26
  about.
• 6:26
  Times
• 6:27
  are
• 6:27
  a
• 6:27
  little
• 6:27
  bit
• 6:27
  leaner
• 6:28
  right
• 6:28
  now.
• 6:28
  I
• 6:28
  said,
• 6:28
  well,
• 6:28
  you
• 6:29
  got
• 6:29
  to
• 6:29
  get
• 6:29
  back
• 6:29
  to
• 6:29
  figuring
• 6:29
  out
• 6:29
  where
• 6:30
  your
• 6:30
  money
• 6:30
  goes,
• 6:31
  but
• 6:32
  at
• 6:32
  the
• 6:32
  same
• 6:32
  time,
• 6:32
  you
• 6:33
  got
• 6:33
  to
• 6:33
  make
• 6:33
  it
• 6:33
  adjustable.
• 6:34
  You're
• 6:35
  not
• 6:35
  looking
• 6:35
  for
• 6:35
  perfection.
• 6:36
  And
• 6:37
  this
• 6:37
  is
• 6:37
  where
• 6:37
  the
• 6:37
  peace
• 6:38
  really
• 6:38
  comes
• 6:38
  in.
• 6:39
  Your
• 6:39
  first
• 6:39
  budget
• 6:40
  is
• 6:40
  not
• 6:40
  your
• 6:41
  final
• 6:41
  budget.
• 6:42
  It's
• 6:43
  a
• 6:43
  starting
• 6:43
  point.
• 6:45
  Give
• 6:46
  yourself
• 6:46
  permission
• 6:47
  to
• 6:47
  adjust,
• 6:47
  give
• 6:48
  yourself
• 6:48
  permission
• 6:49
  to
• 6:49
  break
• 6:49
  your
• 6:50
  budget,
• 6:51
  give
• 6:51
  yourself
• 6:51
  permission
• 6:52
  to,
• 6:52
  oops,
• 6:53
  I
• 6:53
  messed
• 6:54
  up
• 6:54
  this
• 6:54
  week.
• 6:56
  But
• 6:56
  make
• 6:56
  those
• 6:56
  adjustments
• 6:58
  once
• 6:58
  you
• 6:58
  look
• 6:58
  at
• 6:58
  it
• 6:59
  and
• 6:59
  say,
• 6:59
  you
• 6:59
  know
• 6:59
  what,
• 6:59
  this
• 6:59
  is
• 6:59
  working
• 7:00
  better
• 7:00
  than
• 7:00
  I
• 7:00
  expected.
• 7:01
  Or
• 7:01
  guess
• 7:01
  what?
• 7:01
  This
• 7:01
  isn't
• 7:02
  working
• 7:02
  at
• 7:02
  all.
• 7:03
  That
• 7:04
  consistency
• 7:05
  matters
• 7:06
  more
• 7:06
  than
• 7:06
  perfection.
• 7:09
  A
• 7:09
  simple
• 7:09
  plan
• 7:10
  that
• 7:10
  you
• 7:10
  follow
• 7:11
  is
• 7:12
  much
• 7:12
  better
• 7:12
  than
• 7:13
  a
• 7:13
  plan
• 7:13
  that's
• 7:14
  perfect
• 7:15
  that
• 7:15
  you're
• 7:15
  going
• 7:15
  to
• 7:15
  quit.
• 7:17
  So
• 7:17
  here's
• 7:17
  your
• 7:18
  one
• 7:18
  win
• 7:18
  for
• 7:18
  today.
• 7:18
  I
• 7:19
  always
• 7:19
  want
• 7:19
  to
• 7:19
  give
• 7:19
  you
• 7:19
  a
• 7:19
  win
• 7:20
  to
• 7:20
  walk
• 7:20
  away
• 7:20
  with
• 7:22
  right
• 7:22
  now,
• 7:22
  tonight.
• 7:22
  I
• 7:23
  want
• 7:23
  you
• 7:23
  to
• 7:23
  set
• 7:23
  aside
• 7:24
  one
• 7:24
  time
• 7:24
  tonight
• 7:25
  to
• 7:25
  write
• 7:25
  down
• 7:26
  your
• 7:26
  income,
• 7:27
  your
• 7:27
  essential
• 7:28
  expenses,
• 7:29
  and
• 7:29
  one
• 7:29
  category
• 7:30
  you
• 7:30
  enjoy
• 7:30
  for
• 7:30
  enjoyment.
• 7:31
  That's
• 7:31
  it.
• 7:32
  Just
• 7:32
  a
• 7:33
  very
• 7:33
  simple
• 7:33
  budget.
• 7:35
  Because
• 7:35
  what
• 7:35
  I
• 7:35
  have
• 7:35
  found,
• 7:35
  I've
• 7:36
  been
• 7:36
  doing
• 7:36
  this
• 7:36
  kind
• 7:36
  of
• 7:36
  thing
• 7:37
  for
• 7:37
  30
• 7:37
  years.
• 7:38
  Simple
• 7:39
  is
• 7:39
  what
• 7:40
  sticks.
• 7:41
  Well,
• 7:41
  let's
• 7:41
  get
• 7:42
  into
• 7:42
  our
• 7:42
  Bible
• 7:42
  verse.
• 7:43
  We're
• 7:43
  going
• 7:43
  to
• 7:43
  hear
• 7:44
  from
• 7:44
  the
• 7:44
  book
• 7:44
  of
• 7:44
  Ecclesiastes,
• 7:45
  chapter
• 7:46
  7,
• 7:46
  verse
• 7:46
  8.
• 7:47
  And
• 7:48
  I
• 7:48
  love
• 7:48
  this
• 7:48
  verse.
• 7:49
  It
• 7:49
  says
• 7:49
  the
• 7:49
  end
• 7:49
  of
• 7:50
  a
• 7:50
  matter
• 7:50
  is
• 7:51
  better
• 7:51
  than
• 7:51
  its
• 7:51
  beginning
• 7:53
  and
• 7:53
  patience
• 7:53
  is
• 7:54
  better
• 7:54
  than
• 7:54
  pride.
• 7:56
  Let's
• 7:56
  talk
• 7:56
  about
• 7:56
  why
• 7:56
  this
• 7:57
  fits
• 7:57
  today.
• 7:58
  We're
• 7:58
  talking
• 7:59
  about
• 7:59
  patience
• 7:59
  today.
• 8:01
  That
• 8:01
  feeling
• 8:01
  of
• 8:02
  patience
• 8:02
  keeps
• 8:03
  you
• 8:03
  grounded
• 8:04
  and
• 8:04
  moving
• 8:04
  forward.
• 8:06
  But
• 8:07
  if
• 8:07
  you
• 8:07
  rush,
• 8:08
  it
• 8:08
  leads
• 8:09
  you
• 8:09
  to
• 8:09
  going
• 8:09
  off
• 8:09
  course.
• 8:11
  How
• 8:11
  about
• 8:11
  we
• 8:11
  pray
• 8:12
  right
• 8:12
  now?
• 8:13
  Heavenly
• 8:13
  father,
• 8:14
  I
• 8:15
  lift
• 8:15
  up
• 8:15
  my
• 8:15
  friend
• 8:15
  who's
• 8:16
  ready
• 8:16
  to
• 8:16
  take
• 8:16
  a
• 8:17
  step
• 8:17
  towards
• 8:17
  clarity
• 8:18
  right
• 8:18
  now.
• 8:18
  I
• 8:18
  love
• 8:18
  this
• 8:19
  question
• 8:19
  today.
• 8:20
  And
• 8:20
  Lord,
• 8:21
  give
• 8:21
  them
• 8:21
  wisdom
• 8:22
  as
• 8:22
  they
• 8:22
  build
• 8:22
  a
• 8:22
  plan
• 8:23
  for
• 8:23
  their
• 8:23
  finances.
• 8:25
  Remove
• 8:25
  that
• 8:25
  pressure
• 8:26
  of
• 8:26
  them
• 8:26
  to
• 8:26
  be
• 8:27
  perfect
• 8:27
  and
• 8:28
  and
• 8:28
  replace
• 8:28
  it
• 8:28
  with
• 8:28
  peace
• 8:29
  and
• 8:29
  confidence.
• 8:30
  Lord,
• 8:31
  help
• 8:31
  them
• 8:31
  to
• 8:31
  be
• 8:32
  honest,
• 8:33
  to
• 8:33
  be
• 8:33
  steady,
• 8:34
  and
• 8:34
  to
• 8:35
  truly
• 8:35
  trust
• 8:35
  the
• 8:35
  process.
• 8:37
  Guide
• 8:38
  their
• 8:38
  directions,
• 8:38
  guide
• 8:39
  their
• 8:39
  decisions,
• 8:39
  and
• 8:40
  give
• 8:40
  them
• 8:40
  discipline
• 8:41
  to
• 8:41
  follow
• 8:41
  through,
• 8:42
  Lord,
• 8:43
  and
• 8:43
  remind
• 8:43
  them
• 8:44
  in
• 8:44
  the
• 8:44
  end
• 8:44
  those
• 8:45
  small,
• 8:45
  consistent
• 8:46
  steps
• 8:46
  will
• 8:47
  actually
• 8:47
  lead
• 8:48
  to
• 8:48
  lasting
• 8:48
  change.
• 8:50
  And
• 8:50
  we
• 8:50
  just
• 8:50
  ask
• 8:50
  that
• 8:51
  you
• 8:51
  would
• 8:51
  walk
• 8:51
  with
