- 2:05Speaker 5: I don't know Jase's getting on thirty nine.
- 2:07Speaker 2: He's thirty nine.
- 2:07Speaker 4: They both looked terrible, but trust me, they've still got
- 2:09Speaker 4: at least another two years left in them. Pugs, I've
- 2:12Speaker 4: asked you to curate some delicious best of the Big
- 2:14Speaker 4: Show moments.
- 2:15Speaker 2: Mate, what have you got for me?
- 2:16Speaker 5: Grum deadly? I'm sious, if I may say so myself. Now, obviously,
- 2:19Speaker 5: I thought i'd take it from this time last year,
- 2:22Speaker 5: which was around about Enzac weekend, and we're all planning
- 2:25Speaker 5: what we're going to get up to. And you're a
- 2:27Speaker 5: pretty practical guy.
- 2:28Speaker 6: Man.
- 2:28Speaker 5: You'd like to use your holidays a lot of the
- 2:30Speaker 5: time as an opportunity to do shit around the house,
- 2:32Speaker 5: do I But this time you were very adverse. Your
- 2:36Speaker 5: wife had actually asked you to do something around the
- 2:37Speaker 5: house and you didn't want to.
- 2:39Speaker 2: Sounds about right.
- 2:40Speaker 4: This long weekend, obviously, Anzac weekend's happening, and my wife
- 2:43Speaker 4: keeps going to get into a head that we're going
- 2:44Speaker 4: to do chores. Sure this weekend we should do this
- 2:47Speaker 4: and do that. Fortunately, last weekend it was really wet
- 2:50Speaker 4: in Auckland, so we couldn't do any of the chores. Outside.
- 2:53Speaker 4: She wants me to paint our fence. It's probably thirty
- 2:56Speaker 4: meters long, right, she wants it stained black. Just wondering
- 3:01Speaker 4: do you guys have any advice on how to get
- 3:04Speaker 4: her off my case about it?
- 3:05Speaker 2: Because I do not want to pay our fens.
- 3:06Speaker 7: Yeah, no, you go.
- 3:08Speaker 6: Well, I was going to say that there's a few
- 3:10Speaker 6: different things. Obviously, if you can chuck a barrier in
- 3:12Speaker 6: between you and the fence, that's the way to go out.
- 3:14Speaker 6: So I would go tonight, you go only plans tonight
- 3:17Speaker 6: me you normally chilling, chilling? Yeah, yeah, you have to
- 3:20Speaker 6: change that. I would say, come home and crash through
- 3:26Speaker 6: the front fence.
- 3:27Speaker 2: Oh my car, yeah, and your car Okay, I'm in
- 3:30Speaker 2: my trucky today. I don't want to damage it.
- 3:32Speaker 6: Okay, Well I can't help you.
- 3:34Speaker 8: Look, this is a classic scenario. What I would recommend
- 3:38Speaker 8: you do, keasy is tonight because you've got nothing on
- 3:40Speaker 8: right when you go home, Yeah, no, I've got nothing.
- 3:43Speaker 7: When you get home.
- 3:44Speaker 8: Get massively responsibly steamed, so that when you wake up
- 3:49Speaker 8: tomorrow you're so minogai hungover that you're chundering into a
- 3:54Speaker 8: bucket and you can't possibly, you can't possibly do any
- 4:00Speaker 8: kind of work.
- 4:01Speaker 2: She'll she'll still be like, you can get up and
- 4:03Speaker 2: you can.
- 4:03Speaker 6: Do it, can I ask you? Is she doing it?
- 4:06Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 4:07Speaker 6: So she is.
- 4:07Speaker 2: She's like, we're going to do it.
- 4:08Speaker 4: But unfortunately, whenever we do something like that, she is like, oh,
- 4:13Speaker 4: I'm really bad at it, and then I'm watching her
- 4:15Speaker 4: do it and get really frustrated.
- 4:16Speaker 2: I'll just do it so it'll be me paining.
- 4:18Speaker 6: I would just get her to do her half, and
- 4:20Speaker 6: you say that you're going to do your half on
- 4:23Speaker 6: Saturday or Sunday, so you can do her half tomorrow, right, okay,
- 4:27Speaker 6: and then you can be hungover all day just watching
- 4:29Speaker 6: TV or doom scrolling and you don't have to watch
- 4:31Speaker 6: your bag or that.
- 4:32Speaker 9: Right.
- 4:33Speaker 8: You could be really hungover tomorrow and just be gaming
- 4:37Speaker 8: and then not land the plane on the on the fridays,
- 4:42Speaker 8: carry on getting responsibly steamed throughout the Friday so that
- 4:46Speaker 8: you wake up on the set day feeling even worse
- 4:49Speaker 8: and you can get back to your gaming.
- 4:51Speaker 2: Do do do?
- 4:53Speaker 6: Okay?
- 4:53Speaker 2: Those are They're all really great suggestions. Yeah, do it?
- 4:57Speaker 4: Ah, you know what, Pugs. I don't think Jase has
- 5:00Speaker 4: actually ever heard a video.
- 5:02Speaker 2: Game doo doo doo.
- 5:04Speaker 5: He has, but he's heard the ones when they hadn't
- 5:06Speaker 5: invented other sounds for games, yet, like you know Pong
- 5:10Speaker 5: pong from the early eighties, like they all had one
- 5:12Speaker 5: sound like tip and then Pong's like doo doosh to do?
- 5:17Speaker 2: Is that really what pong sounded like?
- 5:19Speaker 5: That's my expert gaming opinion.
- 5:21Speaker 2: Well, look, the.
- 5:22Speaker 4: Big Show's gonna be back, and for this coming Tuesday,
- 5:24Speaker 4: Haughty j Over in Australia. Mogi pretty much did with

- 6:14Speaker 5: because of the Rugby League and how much it's started
- 6:17Speaker 5: to mean to me over these last three years of

- 6:41Speaker 2: For line and not promoting them?
- 6:43Speaker 5: And I don't condain them. Good I'm saying that to

- 10:25Speaker 2: you got for us? Pugs?
- 10:26Speaker 5: You remember when Jason was into his ice coffee as nippys.
- 10:29Speaker 5: Is he still doing that?
- 10:30Speaker 3: No?
- 10:30Speaker 5: Yeah, what's it about? You think you'd drink it while
- 10:32Speaker 5: walking around the big city.
- 10:33Speaker 2: Well, what he does is he goes through phases.
- 10:35Speaker 4: It was cheese balls, it was nippys, it was those
- 10:37Speaker 4: steamed puddings from Sarah Lee or something like that.
- 10:41Speaker 5: Yeah, just a bit of a nippy when he was
- 10:43Speaker 5: I was going to say something else, knee deep in
- 10:46Speaker 5: the nippy's ice coffee coffee face?
- 10:48Speaker 2: Were you going to say? Balls? It is disgusting, hugs.
- 10:51Speaker 7: I was driving into work today and I went, oh, geez.
- 10:55Speaker 6: It must have turned off, did you nah, Nana.
- 10:57Speaker 7: There's a bit of roadworks, say, which hit me here?
- 11:00Speaker 2: And then Jeff in a bit yeah, but anyway, but anyway,
- 11:02Speaker 2: that's a.
- 11:05Speaker 8: That's a side issue, and there went, oh geez, I
- 11:09Speaker 8: gotta put some picture in.
- 11:10Speaker 7: So I went to the petrol station and put my
- 11:12Speaker 7: fifty back in.
- 11:14Speaker 2: Just fill it up. No, why were you just fill
- 11:16Speaker 2: your car? It's not economic.
- 11:17Speaker 8: But anyway, but anyway, Yeah, can I just say it
- 11:21Speaker 8: to him and wild have noticed me till I said, there,
- 11:24Speaker 8: wave and come here. I am feeler ready to put
- 11:27Speaker 8: petrol in there. And but anyway, so I put my
- 11:31Speaker 8: fifty bucks in there. And then I went, as I
- 11:34Speaker 8: always do when I go to the petrol station, even
- 11:36Speaker 8: when I'm not putting pitt I stop at the petrol
- 11:38Speaker 8: station and get myself my little hoity jade treat which
- 11:41Speaker 8: has been it's changed over the Yeah, okay, it's a
- 11:45Speaker 8: Nippy's ice iced coffee.
- 11:47Speaker 6: Now it becomes good. Now I know why you don't
- 11:48Speaker 6: follow that, because I mean, you can go to the
- 11:50Speaker 6: service station more often than be a pig.
- 11:52Speaker 4: That you should do you should you should put five
- 11:55Speaker 4: dollars at a time and then we can go and
- 11:57Speaker 4: get a nippies on the way home and on the
- 11:59Speaker 4: way to it.
- 12:00Speaker 8: Well, no, I'm so into the ice snippies that I'll
- 12:03Speaker 8: stop there just for that. I don't even need to
- 12:05Speaker 8: put picture them. So I took my nippies up to
- 12:07Speaker 8: the counter, right, and this is where I found myself
- 12:10Speaker 8: on the horns of a dilemma. I put my nippies there,
- 12:12Speaker 8: and the guy that was serving me before he served me,
- 12:16Speaker 8: did the most wettest sneeze.
- 12:21Speaker 2: It was a Mogi sneeze.
- 12:23Speaker 8: Like the one that Flemmy that's so loud that gives
- 12:27Speaker 8: you a heart attack sort of thing right into his
- 12:31Speaker 8: He cupped his face with his hands really and did
- 12:34Speaker 8: this massive, wet Flemmy sneeze into his way, sound like recreated.
- 12:42Speaker 7: But Flemmy and wetter than that.
- 12:45Speaker 6: And I was like, oh, gross.
- 12:48Speaker 7: But then then he started fingering my eye snippies.
- 12:53Speaker 2: Box, you know what I mean.
- 12:55Speaker 6: So you're swiping it on the thing.
- 12:57Speaker 7: There, going do doo dooche not to do yeah, and
- 13:02Speaker 7: he was.
- 13:03Speaker 6: He had his.
- 13:03Speaker 7: Hands all over and then he put it back on
- 13:05Speaker 7: the counter and I was like, gross, say that.
- 13:08Speaker 8: I didn't say that, but in my head I was
- 13:11Speaker 8: going seriously, and I found myself just unable to move
- 13:14Speaker 8: or act or do anything.
- 13:16Speaker 2: I was like, what do we do in this situation?
- 13:18Speaker 8: And I don't know if that's a callback to the
- 13:20Speaker 8: COVID days, you know when someone.
- 13:22Speaker 7: Would cough for sneeze and oh my god. And I
- 13:25Speaker 7: was like, oh, that's so gross.
- 13:29Speaker 8: I don't want to touch that nippies now because it
- 13:32Speaker 8: all avers gems and floor true fill all over it right, But.
- 13:38Speaker 2: The nippy's straw is in a little packet. It's in
- 13:41Speaker 2: a packet by the side.
- 13:42Speaker 8: But I still had the finger where his fingers, you
- 13:45Speaker 8: know what I mean, put it into that little hole,
- 13:47Speaker 8: which he may have touched as well.
- 13:48Speaker 2: He may have touched the hole with his fingers and all.
- 13:51Speaker 6: Honestly, well, what was your feeling about what I would
- 13:54Speaker 6: have done and what keys he would have done?
- 13:56Speaker 7: I think you would have gone, I'm just gonna grab
- 13:58Speaker 7: another one of those, mate.
- 13:59Speaker 6: I had him seeing correct d and keys.
- 14:02Speaker 7: He would have probably been similar. I think he probably
- 14:06Speaker 7: because he hates gyms.
- 14:07Speaker 2: Okay, don't start a keys. He hates gyms. Thing after
- 14:09Speaker 2: this thing.
- 14:10Speaker 4: So I would have done the same thing, but I
- 14:12Speaker 4: wouldn't have been as direct about it.
- 14:14Speaker 2: Probably.
- 14:14Speaker 4: I would have probably just gone. I probably would have
- 14:16Speaker 4: just walked over to the fridge and swapped it, yeah,
- 14:18Speaker 4: and then walked out. I wouldn't have gone, I'm just
- 14:20Speaker 4: gonna get another one, mate, sort your nose out by
- 14:22Speaker 4: the way I would.
- 14:23Speaker 6: I wouldn't have been like that, you've got to make
- 14:24Speaker 6: a joke out of it, sure, sure, but yeah you can't.
- 14:27Speaker 6: You can't touch that.
- 14:28Speaker 7: What would he do?
- 14:29Speaker 9: Oh?
- 14:29Speaker 6: Nothing. He took it and you drink it. Yeah, I
- 14:33Speaker 6: feel rather you'd rather die than have a social in
- 14:36Speaker 6: direction that was in the slightest but awkward, even though
- 14:39Speaker 6: you're not in the wrong and that person needed to
- 14:40Speaker 6: be put straight.
- 14:41Speaker 2: He would rather die?
- 14:42Speaker 6: Is that what happened?
- 14:43Speaker 4: Also, he'd rather die than not have the nippies as.
- 14:47Speaker 6: Well, exactly.
- 14:50Speaker 7: But here's here was my thought process. I went and
- 14:53Speaker 7: I'm going to take that back and get another one.
- 14:56Speaker 7: Right then I was like, I'd be really offended by that.
- 14:58Speaker 8: Yeah. Yeah, but also I would have then had to
- 15:02Speaker 8: finger the nippies that was there to replace it, you
- 15:06Speaker 8: know what I mean.
- 15:07Speaker 6: No, but you would have had What you're saying is
- 15:08Speaker 6: you would take it and then take it back to
- 15:10Speaker 6: the fridge. Yeah, yeah, and you don't. You don't touch
- 15:12Speaker 6: it under any sequence. You leave it there and then
- 15:14Speaker 6: he can do it.
- 15:15Speaker 8: I'm just going, okay, yeah, right, I'm curious to know
- 15:18Speaker 8: how many you know on three four eight three what other.
- 15:20Speaker 7: People would do in that scenario.
- 15:21Speaker 2: Yeah, feel free to send a texture on three for
- 15:23Speaker 2: eight three. I think because he still drank it straight away.
- 15:25Speaker 2: You drank it, right?
- 15:26Speaker 9: Oh?
- 15:26Speaker 6: Yes, did you work it with your sleeve or anything
- 15:28Speaker 6: like that.
- 15:29Speaker 8: Yeah, that was the wed Like I was really genuinely
- 15:32Speaker 8: grossed out about it, but I just sucked that basard down.
- 15:35Speaker 2: What would someone have to do to it for you
- 15:36Speaker 2: to not drink a Nippy's ice coffee? I don't know.
- 15:39Speaker 2: I don't find out.
- 15:40Speaker 4: Yeah, it's fine out if you can get a whole
- 15:42Speaker 4: od of Nippy's ice coffee and we'll do stuff to that. Yes,
- 15:47Speaker 4: every single show The Big Show has ever done. Available
- 15:49Speaker 4: wherever you get your podcasts from. Give him a look up. Next,
- 15:52Speaker 4: what's on? Telly an old pugsun saw the brand new
- 15:55Speaker 4: Mummy movie last night. In the meantime, it is the
- 15:58Speaker 4: White Stripes And you're on Hodarkey.
- 16:00Speaker 1: The Hierarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hodak.
- 16:04Speaker 4: You two on The Hidarchy Big Show Friday afternoon, just
- 16:07Speaker 4: Kezy and Pugs with you this Friday hit of the
- 16:09Speaker 4: long weekend.
- 16:10Speaker 2: Hoidy Jay's over in Australia there in Melbourne for a wedding.
- 16:13Speaker 2: He'll be back on Tuesday.
- 16:14Speaker 5: And Mogi is well, he's on Death Store.
- 16:18Speaker 2: He is on Death Store.
- 16:19Speaker 4: He came in, did the podcast outro with us and
- 16:21Speaker 4: then was like, you know what if I stay here
- 16:23Speaker 4: and do any more content, I'm gonna die. Yeah, So
- 16:27Speaker 4: you've got Keesy and pugsn and right now it's time four.
- 16:32Speaker 5: What's on the Turney with Mike Minogue as Pugs. Hello.
- 16:42Speaker 4: I watched a really interesting program last night. But I'm
- 16:43Speaker 4: gonna let you go and steer because you went and
- 16:45Speaker 4: saw the brand new Mummy movie, didn't you.
- 16:47Speaker 5: Mummy's boy, Lee Cronin's the Mummies Boy Lee Cronin, who
- 16:51Speaker 5: is as a director. He is a director, most notable
- 16:55Speaker 5: in my eyes for the latest Evil did Rise movie.
- 16:58Speaker 2: He did well.
- 16:59Speaker 5: Yeah, the latest Evildear movie, Evildear Rise, which came out
- 17:01Speaker 5: in twenty three, right, and that was absolutely batshit bananas
- 17:07Speaker 5: and I really thoroughly enjoyed it.
- 17:09Speaker 2: When you say that the minute it was just super
- 17:10Speaker 2: gory and super over the top. It was.
- 17:12Speaker 5: Yes, it was absolute chaos, great horror, great gore. It's
- 17:16Speaker 5: a great family dynamic film in New Zealand, right, which
- 17:18Speaker 5: is cool as well. And so this was his next
- 17:21Speaker 5: big picture and also taking on a title like the Mummy.
- 17:23Speaker 5: There aren't that many Mummy horror movies these days. I
- 17:25Speaker 5: think they've butchered them. There was one a little while
- 17:27Speaker 5: ago that everybody hated. And then there's the famous ones
- 17:29Speaker 5: from back in the day with Brendan Fraser and the
- 17:32Speaker 5: Rock and the Rock Yeah, spot on now. In this movie,
- 17:37Speaker 5: it's basically about a family whose daughter goes missing while
- 17:40Speaker 5: they're living and working in Cairo, Okay. And she goes
- 17:44Speaker 5: missing for eight years and then she is discovered with
- 17:47Speaker 5: a pyramid a play when a plane crash is carrying
- 17:52Speaker 5: a sarcophagus and she's in the sarcophagus, that's right, and
- 17:55Speaker 5: they bring it home and she's not really quite the same.
- 17:58Speaker 5: She's in a Sarco's totally malnourished for eight years. Somehow
- 18:02Speaker 5: she's alive, and she's just a little bit freaky deecky.
- 18:07Speaker 5: There's something going on there. It's got like necrosis and
- 18:10Speaker 5: all sorts.
- 18:11Speaker 2: Has she been mummified or she was.
- 18:13Speaker 5: Mummified in the sarcophagus. They obviously un mummified her to
- 18:15Speaker 5: get her home and that makes sense.
- 18:17Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 18:19Speaker 5: The girl who plays Katie absolutely carried this movie is
- 18:24Speaker 5: Katie the girl. Katie's the girl that goes missing and
- 18:26Speaker 5: comes home and she is just an absolute freak azoid.
- 18:30Speaker 5: She's nuts and there's some real sick shit that happens
- 18:33Speaker 5: in this movie, and that's what it kind of relies on.
- 18:35Speaker 5: The sound designs really good what I found in this movie,
- 18:38Speaker 5: and it's really weird. Do you ever watch a movie
- 18:40Speaker 5: where the scenes just start to get interesting, There's like
- 18:43Speaker 5: build up, build up, built up, the scenes just start
- 18:45Speaker 5: to get interesting, and then it cuts away to the
- 18:47Speaker 5: next scene. It's like it's impatient with itself and it's
- 18:50Speaker 5: sick of its own shit, so it just moves on.
- 18:52Speaker 2: Right, Okay, that's what this movie was.
- 18:54Speaker 9: Like.
- 18:55Speaker 5: Everybody else apart from Katie, kind of sucked right, particularly
- 19:00Speaker 5: the dad. The guy at Jack Rainers his name. He's
- 19:02Speaker 5: in another horror movie, Midsummer Bady. He's really good at Midsommar,
- 19:06Speaker 5: but he was playing a dickheare boyfriend, so I'm thinking
- 19:08Speaker 5: maybe because he was trying to play a heroic dad
- 19:10Speaker 5: in this it didn't work anyway. Ah, so far, I'm
- 19:13Speaker 5: feeling a two point eight buzzies.
- 19:18Speaker 4: Two point eight buzzies out of five, so not even
- 19:20Speaker 4: a recommend yet. Nah, although I'm sure you won't mind
- 19:24Speaker 4: me saying that you were incredibly definitely hungover last night
- 19:27Speaker 4: and you regretted the fact that you'd even booked in
- 19:29Speaker 4: going to the movies.
- 19:30Speaker 5: What I also noted you remember if you watched Breaking Bed. Yes,
- 19:33Speaker 5: you know how whenever they're in Albuquerque, New Mexico, they
- 19:36Speaker 5: put like the Wii filter on everything yellow. Well they
- 19:39Speaker 5: move to New Mexico, and what do you think happens?
- 19:41Speaker 5: They get the Wii filter out the yellow to hear
- 19:43Speaker 5: the yellow filter for New Mexico. I just I don't know.
- 19:46Speaker 5: Evil Did Rise was a way more interesting and exciting
- 19:50Speaker 5: movie to watch. If you want a movie that's basically
- 19:52Speaker 5: got the same sort of scars, the same sort of gore,
- 19:54Speaker 5: the same sort of horror, but done better, watch Evil
- 19:56Speaker 5: Dead Rise.
- 19:57Speaker 2: There you go, I shouldn't watch anything. So I had
- 20:00Speaker 2: a bath and then we're to sleep. Oh, because I'm
- 20:03Speaker 2: rock and roll?
- 20:03Speaker 10: Why'd you lie?
- 20:05Speaker 9: I don't know.
- 20:05Speaker 2: I trying to show off. Here's Lincoln Park.
- 20:10Speaker 1: The Hdiarchy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy. Tune
- 20:13Speaker 1: in week days and four on Radio Hdarchy.
- 20:16Speaker 2: It is the Chili.
- 20:17Speaker 4: He's on the Hidarcky Big Show Friday afternoon with old Keyzy.
- 20:20Speaker 4: And if you were listening to Hdarky earlier today from
- 20:22Speaker 4: three o'clock, we had an exclusive sort of listening session
- 20:26Speaker 4: hosted by Jackasses Johnny Knoxville. That's the name from the past,
- 20:30Speaker 4: isn't it, And he sat down with Dave Grohl and
- 20:33Speaker 4: the rest of the Food Fighters and they did an
- 20:35Speaker 4: exclusive sort of interview. In a chat, they broke down
- 20:38Speaker 4: the album song by song. We're going to be replaying
- 20:41Speaker 4: that from six pm this coming Monday, So if you've
- 20:44Speaker 4: got the Monday off work, set a reminder and tune
- 20:46Speaker 4: into that. But right now, we've actually got a copy
- 20:49Speaker 4: of the brand new album your favorite toy to give away.
- 20:53Speaker 2: Let's see who the lucky winner is gonna be. Matthew
- 20:56Speaker 2: Are you there? Mate?
- 20:58Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 20:58Speaker 7: Mate?
- 20:58Speaker 2: Good a mate? How are you going?
- 21:00Speaker 9: I'm good. How are you guys doing?
- 21:02Speaker 2: You're not too bad? The Matthew man? Where are you
- 21:03Speaker 2: calling from?
- 21:05Speaker 9: I'm from Hamilton, ham Hamilton.
- 21:07Speaker 2: Yeah, beautiful mate. What have you got planned for the
- 21:09Speaker 2: long weekend?
- 21:11Speaker 9: Oh? I'll go to see my brother or do a
- 21:13Speaker 9: bit of yard work. I'm looking forward to sleeping in. Actually,
- 21:16Speaker 9: it's always nice not waking up to alarm.
- 21:18Speaker 2: Hell yeah, what are you doing in the yard man?
- 21:21Speaker 3: Ah?
- 21:22Speaker 9: Yeah, you know a bit of a weed eating, bit
- 21:24Speaker 9: of tree trimming.
- 21:25Speaker 4: Yeah, good stuff, just manicuring men the brand new food
- 21:29Speaker 4: Fighters album.
- 21:29Speaker 2: It's called your favorite toy? Do you have a favorite toy?
- 21:34Speaker 9: I don't like how this is going.
- 21:37Speaker 2: No, I mean I didn't even think about like a
- 21:39Speaker 2: bedroom style toy.
- 21:40Speaker 5: Man.
- 21:41Speaker 9: Yeah, well, I say, I'm same. I like my record player,
- 21:45Speaker 9: but I need to get the wires fixed on it,
- 21:47Speaker 9: so this will be a good reason to it if
- 21:49Speaker 9: you're right.
- 21:50Speaker 2: Well, so you've got a record player though, I do?
- 21:53Speaker 5: I do?
- 21:53Speaker 4: Yeah, bloody ripping mate, Will you gotta get those wires
- 21:55Speaker 4: fix because you've won that copy of the brand new
- 21:57Speaker 4: Phollies album.
- 21:58Speaker 2: Oh nice, No worries it all, Matthew. You enjoy your
- 22:02Speaker 2: long weekend, alright, yes, cheers, you hold the line Old
- 22:06Speaker 2: pugsan to look after you.
- 22:07Speaker 4: There you go, taking care of the listeners here on
- 22:10Speaker 4: Radiohdaki as per another chance to win a copy of
- 22:14Speaker 4: that vinyl no doubt at some stage in the future
- 22:15Speaker 4: here on Radio Hodaki for now, but a tool. It's
- 22:19Speaker 4: chism and it's Friday afternoon on Radio Hurdaki.
- 22:21Speaker 1: The Hdarchy Big Show was Jason, Mike and Kezy Tune
- 22:25Speaker 1: in on.
- 22:27Speaker 4: Radio Hodaki Bush There on the Hurdarky Big Show Friday
- 22:30Speaker 4: Afternoon with Keezy and Pugs and Man who loves a
- 22:33Speaker 4: bit of Bush himself. Old Pugsan, you've been deeper in
- 22:36Speaker 4: the Big Show archives, haven't you.
- 22:37Speaker 8: Man?
- 22:37Speaker 5: You got what you goddamn right?
- 22:40Speaker 4: Brother, I was gonna say, I thought I was spot
- 22:42Speaker 4: on there. You've been in the Big Show archives. Man,
- 22:44Speaker 4: A best of moment? What have you got for us?
- 22:46Speaker 5: This one was you thinking you've done the fellas a favor.
- 22:50Speaker 5: They've been away sick, and you've been holding down the
- 22:52Speaker 5: fort as it tends to go much like today, and
- 22:55Speaker 5: they came back and you almost almost got them see again,
- 23:00Speaker 5: but I did you did them a solid at least
- 23:02Speaker 5: you thought you did.
- 23:03Speaker 4: People listening the last couple of weeks will know that
- 23:05Speaker 4: I've been here holding the fort while you guys have
- 23:08Speaker 4: been off.
- 23:10Speaker 7: What was that look that you just gave me?
- 23:12Speaker 2: The y just a generic look of love.
- 23:15Speaker 7: And by the way, you've got a lot of twisty dust.
- 23:19Speaker 10: Yeah, oh you have it.
- 23:20Speaker 8: Actually, I just wanted to make you feel a bit,
- 23:22Speaker 8: you know, looking really good by the way, brother, really wow,
- 23:27Speaker 8: Actually know that you turn to that angle.
- 23:30Speaker 7: Snools are still as huge as packing that up?
- 23:32Speaker 2: Are we getting back into that.
- 23:36Speaker 4: But one thing, I actually managed to dodge what I
- 23:38Speaker 4: think could have been a complete train wreck for the
- 23:40Speaker 4: show halfway through last week. You guys are obviously both
- 23:44Speaker 4: extremely sick. I was in here at the helm, you know,
- 23:49Speaker 4: running things.
- 23:51Speaker 7: Not at the tiller, firmly gripped on the tiller the.
- 23:55Speaker 2: Helm, and my wife ended up getting struck down with COVID.
- 24:00Speaker 5: It.
- 24:00Speaker 2: So we're living in the same house, right, So.
- 24:03Speaker 7: You live in the same house.
- 24:07Speaker 2: I don't have a fiance.
- 24:08Speaker 7: God, that's pretty intense.
- 24:09Speaker 2: I accidentally said I had a fiance once after I
- 24:11Speaker 2: was married. That doesn't matter. Fiance.
- 24:13Speaker 7: Was that something you agree to before you got married,
- 24:15Speaker 7: that you're going to live in the same house or
- 24:16Speaker 7: what was that? How did that happen?
- 24:19Speaker 8: So obviously we're living to me, there's a rookie mistake
- 24:21Speaker 8: right there, peasy. I mean, if you want your marriage
- 24:25Speaker 8: to last, you don't live in the same house together, right,
- 24:27Speaker 8: all right, So.
- 24:28Speaker 2: We're living together anywhere. We'll see how it goes.
- 24:31Speaker 4: And even though I just said, stuff it, you know,
- 24:33Speaker 4: if I want to catch it, let's just get it
- 24:34Speaker 4: out of the way.
- 24:34Speaker 2: I would just sleep in the same bed, you know.
- 24:37Speaker 7: And you're sleep in the same bed as here, Keezy.
- 24:41Speaker 2: The had was wrong with you?
- 24:42Speaker 9: Do you not?
- 24:44Speaker 5: No?
- 24:45Speaker 6: Right?
- 24:46Speaker 2: But somehow I've managed to avoid getting COVID.
- 24:49Speaker 4: And I think even though we've just been carrying on
- 24:50Speaker 4: as normal and I've been testing daily and stuff, I
- 24:53Speaker 4: think it's because the last couple of weeks I've started
- 24:55Speaker 4: running again.
- 24:56Speaker 2: I'm out running.
- 24:57Speaker 4: I'm on a healthier diet, a lot of vig's and
- 24:59Speaker 4: stuff because I was, you know, I was pretty shocking,
- 25:01Speaker 4: you know, a lot of boozing.
- 25:02Speaker 2: Up here, of stuff disgrace for me.
- 25:04Speaker 4: Well, I wouldn't say disgraceberg No, Well, I see it's
- 25:07Speaker 4: the regular bloke diet, you know. And now I've sort
- 25:11Speaker 4: of tidy things up a bit and I feel like
- 25:12Speaker 4: that has contributed to me not catching it.
- 25:15Speaker 2: Well, today's who last day of ISO.
- 25:17Speaker 8: So and the fact that you you know, you're eighty
- 25:19Speaker 8: percent alcohol content in your bloodstream, you know what I mean?
- 25:22Speaker 7: That'll be helping.
- 25:23Speaker 6: And She's the thing about Lisbian, she probably hasn't even
- 25:26Speaker 6: got COVID now, probably depression, right.
- 25:29Speaker 7: Yeah, Well, because you're living in the same house with her.
- 25:32Speaker 2: And my wife post post wedding blues.
- 25:34Speaker 7: Is that a thing?
- 25:35Speaker 9: I tell you. Yeah.
- 25:36Speaker 6: Well, the thing about Lisban is you'll find a woman
- 25:39Speaker 6: in a horrendous relationship will often let the emotion the
- 25:44Speaker 6: joys of planning a marriage override the realities of the relationship, right,
- 25:50Speaker 6: and then once the joy of that day is past,
- 25:52Speaker 6: the reality of the relationship comes back to haunt her
- 25:55Speaker 6: and she will sort of plummet, plummet and deep depression,
- 26:00Speaker 6: often all the way up into all the divorce.
- 26:02Speaker 7: Yes, right, Okay, what have I done?
- 26:04Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 26:05Speaker 7: What have I done?
- 26:06Speaker 6: What have I done to deserve?
- 26:08Speaker 7: What are you even actually doing in the studio? Mate?
- 26:11Speaker 8: Because Moggi and I, you know, we've been under the
- 26:13Speaker 8: gun here, buddy, that's a it's a pretty selfish thing
- 26:16Speaker 8: to do, quite frankly. I mean, the last thing the
- 26:18Speaker 8: big show needs is for Moggie and I a gets
- 26:20Speaker 8: sick again.
- 26:21Speaker 4: Well, that's the last thing we do need because you
- 26:22Speaker 4: guys have had like seven weeks off or whatever.
- 26:24Speaker 2: So I'm testing negative. You know, we're doing all the
- 26:27Speaker 2: right things here. I'm fine, I sound great.
- 26:29Speaker 6: Have you been on the website?
- 26:32Speaker 2: Isolation household context?
- 26:35Speaker 5: What?
- 26:35Speaker 6: Yeah? So you're not meant to be here?
- 26:37Speaker 5: Men?
- 26:40Speaker 7: Talk about let the team down.
- 26:41Speaker 2: Keezy Pack it up, Kezy out. Isn't that funny?
- 26:47Speaker 4: That clip was from exactly three years ago today, and
- 26:51Speaker 4: what do you know, Mogi is sick today and also
- 26:54Speaker 4: three years ago as well. Geez, even hearing the word
- 26:58Speaker 4: COVID these days sends to shiver up my the Huduky
- 27:00Speaker 4: Big Show. We'll be back and full this coming Tuesday.
- 27:03Speaker 4: And don't forget in the meantime, every podcast of every
- 27:05Speaker 4: show we've ever done available wherever you get your potties from.
- 27:08Speaker 2: I recommend iHeartRadio.
- 27:10Speaker 8: Now.
- 27:10Speaker 2: Coming up next on the Big Show, Pugs is.
- 27:12Speaker 4: Gonna come in and we're gonna have a chat to
- 27:14Speaker 4: a couple of fantastic New Zealand actors. They have a
- 27:17Speaker 4: movie which is sort of premiering tonight at the Hollywood
- 27:21Speaker 4: and Avondale.
- 27:22Speaker 2: It is a comedy horror.
- 27:24Speaker 4: It is part of the New Zealand Comedy Festival and
- 27:26Speaker 4: then the movie will be going national. It's won all
- 27:28Speaker 4: sorts of awards overseas and as we all know, when
- 27:31Speaker 4: you mixed comedy with horror, interesting things happen. One of
- 27:35Speaker 4: my all time favorites being Short of the Dead. We'll
- 27:38Speaker 4: be having a chat to them up next. So it
- 27:39Speaker 4: makes you stick around on Hoduki.
- 27:42Speaker 1: The Hdarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio Hodak.
- 27:45Speaker 4: It is the Old Spring on the Huducky Big Show
- 27:47Speaker 4: Friday evening with Kezy and Pugs. Old Magi's temporarily tapped
- 27:50Speaker 4: out because he's rooted.
- 27:52Speaker 2: He has something wrong with him.
- 27:54Speaker 4: He's on all sorts of medication right now and he's
- 27:56Speaker 4: having a coffee. He'll be back shortly. But in the
- 27:58Speaker 4: meantime we don't give a shit because we've got Allison
- 28:00Speaker 4: Finn who are and right now from a brand new
- 28:03Speaker 4: film that is about to hit New Zealand cinemas.
- 28:05Speaker 2: The film is called The Weed Eaters and it is
- 28:08Speaker 2: a horror comedy.
- 28:09Speaker 4: Alice Finn, thank you so much for coming to Duki,
- 28:11Speaker 4: Thanks for having us now comedy horror. So the gold
- 28:16Speaker 4: standard of comedy horror for me, which leans more comedy
- 28:19Speaker 4: is Short of the Dead Back in the day grew out.
- 28:21Speaker 2: Watched that movie a thousand times, and.
- 28:23Speaker 4: A crucial part of comedy horror, I think is getting
- 28:26Speaker 4: the right sort of balance of ha ha ha.
- 28:29Speaker 2: Correct, have you guys done that and this or does
- 28:31Speaker 2: it lean one way more than the other? What are
- 28:33Speaker 2: we thinking?
- 28:34Speaker 3: It's fully crack up okay the time and some people
- 28:38Speaker 3: scream and a lot of people go oh yack.
- 28:42Speaker 2: Yeah I did that watching the trailer.
- 28:44Speaker 5: Yeah, there was some sick ship.
- 28:46Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 28:46Speaker 5: The tone was really quite dark in the trailer, like
- 28:49Speaker 5: for it, because obviously, you know, I've read the summary,
- 28:51Speaker 5: I've looked at the concept and everything like that. But
- 28:53Speaker 5: then it was just very quite serious and very very
- 28:58Speaker 5: slow and dark and brooding.
- 29:00Speaker 2: I quite like that.
- 29:01Speaker 10: We've had a couple of walkouts really we're quite proud of.
- 29:05Speaker 5: Yeah, fantastic, that's the standard for horror.
- 29:07Speaker 2: Yeah, But the thing is with the walkout pugs and
- 29:10Speaker 2: how do you know it's because of the horror.
- 29:11Speaker 3: Because they say on letterbox reviews afterwards.
- 29:14Speaker 2: I walked out because of the horror.
- 29:16Speaker 3: They say I walked out because this was disgusting.
- 29:18Speaker 10: There's a couple of moments in particular as well, right
- 29:21Speaker 10: where you tap out.
- 29:22Speaker 2: Now, just a bit of a just a rough synopsis
- 29:25Speaker 2: for the listeners. Right now, what is the weed Eages about.
- 29:29Speaker 10: It's about a bunch of townies who go away for
- 29:32Speaker 10: New Year's Eve to a B and B in the
- 29:35Speaker 10: back blocks of a farm in the middle of nowhere
- 29:37Speaker 10: in rural Canterbury. Right where they find a strain of
- 29:40Speaker 10: weed that gets you so high you start craving human flesh.
- 29:44Speaker 4: Yes, because that's what I saw in the and also heard.
- 29:47Speaker 4: It was quite loud and there's a lot of visceral
- 29:48Speaker 4: sound effects and things. Yeah, a wee bit of cannibalism.
- 29:51Speaker 10: Oh yeah, are we bit?
- 29:53Speaker 2: And how sort of realistic did you guys get with that?
- 29:56Speaker 5: Did you?
- 29:57Speaker 2: Did you eat any human flesh?
- 29:58Speaker 10: We did? Oh, whoa, you're not really allowed to. It's
- 30:02Speaker 10: kind of frowned upon.
- 30:03Speaker 3: We looked into it.
- 30:04Speaker 5: It was some expense.
- 30:05Speaker 10: We asked the local farmers what the closest meat would be,
- 30:09Speaker 10: and they did highly recommend pork. I don't know how
- 30:11Speaker 10: they knew, right, but they said pork.
- 30:14Speaker 4: Now, there are scenes where you guys are eating people.
- 30:17Speaker 4: I assume I haven't seen it, but in those scenes,
- 30:20Speaker 4: you know, to make it quite visceral and realistic and stuff,
- 30:22Speaker 4: you guys have to be chowing down on something.
- 30:24Speaker 2: Was it pork?
- 30:25Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 30:25Speaker 3: A lot of the time it was pork, and some
- 30:28Speaker 3: of the time it was like a lovely sort of
- 30:30Speaker 3: pannacotta dessert.
- 30:32Speaker 2: Really.
- 30:33Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 30:33Speaker 10: And about our art director, who also co wrote the
- 30:36Speaker 10: movie as well, was whipped up some really gross but
- 30:40Speaker 10: delicious things to.
- 30:41Speaker 5: Look like human flesh, yeah, which would have helped with
- 30:45Speaker 5: sort of the munchies factor, you know. I mean personally,
- 30:47Speaker 5: I've never even indulged and certainly wouldn't mum. But sure
- 30:51Speaker 5: when you're tucking in in that state, everything just is
- 30:54Speaker 5: sort of in a highest state of pleasure, isn't it.
- 30:57Speaker 5: So you would have really looked like you're enjoying those
- 31:00Speaker 5: that person all those people.
- 31:02Speaker 3: So it was really important I think for Annabel to
- 31:04Speaker 3: make the food we were eating and pretending was human yummy.
- 31:08Speaker 4: Right, right, okay, because yeah, when you're eating human flesh,
- 31:11Speaker 4: you want it to look yummy.
- 31:13Speaker 2: Pucks. When you said you haven't indulged. We talk about
- 31:14Speaker 2: weed or cannibalism.
- 31:17Speaker 5: That's by the bikes, it's not really no, I need
- 31:19Speaker 5: to know, well we're interviewing these guys because if you're
- 31:22Speaker 5: on drug focus, I don't care about the cannibalism.
- 31:24Speaker 2: It's the drugs part, mate, because this is drug free
- 31:26Speaker 2: station around just on there.
- 31:27Speaker 5: It's it's possibly the most antiweed film concept I've ever
- 31:31Speaker 5: heard of my life. Like something that gets you so
- 31:33Speaker 5: stone you start eating people. It's quite good. My mother
- 31:35Speaker 5: would probably like.
- 31:35Speaker 6: It a lot.
- 31:36Speaker 3: It's actually the reason why we got a PG. Thirteen
- 31:39Speaker 3: rateing I reckon like the teens can come because when
- 31:41Speaker 3: we smoke weed, bad things happen, right, So.
- 31:44Speaker 2: You had to have that negative sort of association with marijuana.
- 31:48Speaker 2: I see Pg.
- 31:49Speaker 4: Thirteen, But you had walkouts because of grossness. That's interesting
- 31:52Speaker 4: balancing that fun. Tell what we might do, guys. You
- 31:54Speaker 4: might go to a quick air brake not air brakes
- 31:56Speaker 4: song A tune man, Yeah, it's a seggy pop. Even
- 31:59Speaker 4: the add sound good on Hodaki. I always get the
- 32:01Speaker 4: mixed up with the music. We'll be back after this
- 32:03Speaker 4: with Alison Finn from The Weed Eaters.
- 32:05Speaker 1: The Hierarchy Big Show was Jason, Mike and Kezy tune
- 32:09Speaker 1: in on Radio Holaky.
- 32:11Speaker 4: You pop up on The Darky Big Show Friday Afternoon
- 32:13Speaker 4: with Keezy and Pugsun and also joining us in the
- 32:16Speaker 4: studio right now Alice May Connolly and Thinn tip it
- 32:19Speaker 4: from the movie The Weed Eaters.
- 32:20Speaker 2: It's a Kiwi movie. It is a comedy horror.
- 32:23Speaker 4: It comes out officially across New Zealand next week on
- 32:25Speaker 4: the thirtieth. However, tonight at the Hollywood and Avondale there
- 32:29Speaker 4: is a special four D screening of The Weed Eaters.
- 32:32Speaker 4: This is to celebrate the New Zealand International Comedy Festival. Now,
- 32:36Speaker 4: Alis Finn got you guys both in the studio with
- 32:38Speaker 4: us right now. How do you turn a comedy horror
- 32:41Speaker 4: into a one night only four D film?
- 32:44Speaker 3: Well, thankfully we're at the Hollywood Evandale and they often do.
- 32:48Speaker 4: Four D screening, So right, oh, really, yeah, because I've
- 32:51Speaker 4: seen Shrek four D and when he sneezed, the seat
- 32:54Speaker 4: in front of me squirted me with water.
- 32:56Speaker 2: Yep, yeap, So can we expect sort of similarish?
- 33:00Speaker 10: Yeah, I think there'll be something for all of the senses,
- 33:05Speaker 10: best of them Delby smells.
- 33:07Speaker 2: I was gonna say, are you guys going to hot
- 33:08Speaker 2: box the Hollywood.
- 33:12Speaker 5: Fumes of pork and panicotta That actually.
- 33:15Speaker 2: Sounds like a delicious meal.
- 33:17Speaker 4: The movie is about you, guys who you go camping
- 33:19Speaker 4: over New Years you find a strain of an ancient
- 33:22Speaker 4: strain of weed that makes you turn into cannibals. Now,
- 33:26Speaker 4: as part of this, as I say, you're doing a
- 33:28Speaker 4: forty screening, which is very exciting. It is then going
- 33:30Speaker 4: to be rolling out across New Zealand and the world
- 33:33Speaker 4: as well.
- 33:34Speaker 3: From the thirtieth, specifically New Zealand on the thirtieth and
- 33:38Speaker 3: watch the Space for the.
- 33:39Speaker 4: World, because you guys have already gone overseas right and
- 33:42Speaker 4: done quite well. You wentto Ozza and did well, didn't you?
- 33:44Speaker 5: South By south West Sydney. Yeah. By the way, we
- 33:47Speaker 5: won the best feature there.
- 33:49Speaker 6: Sick.
- 33:50Speaker 2: How do were you guys over there for that?
- 33:52Speaker 10: We didn't go, but Annabelle went.
- 33:54Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah.
- 33:56Speaker 10: We played in jog Jakarta as well in Indonesia.
- 33:59Speaker 6: Wow?
- 34:00Speaker 8: Hell?
- 34:01Speaker 5: Really? How good?
- 34:03Speaker 9: Yeah?
- 34:03Speaker 4: This is the interesting thing, right with especially with Kiwi humor.
- 34:07Speaker 4: It's the dead pan, it's the weird accent, and it's
- 34:09Speaker 4: the you know, it's It's been very successful overseas, which
- 34:12Speaker 4: is great. So when you do hear that Jakarta, of
- 34:16Speaker 4: all places, loved your film, like that's weird, right, It's
- 34:19Speaker 4: gonna be a weird feeling.
- 34:20Speaker 10: Yeah, it's great. It travels. That was it was really funny,
- 34:24Speaker 10: it was really gross. They loved all the kind of
- 34:26Speaker 10: physical comedy as well. Oh yeah, but yeah, big big
- 34:30Speaker 10: movie going country.
- 34:31Speaker 3: And they love horror over there as well, so I
- 34:33Speaker 3: think they loved the gore too.
- 34:35Speaker 2: Indonesians love horror.
- 34:36Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 34:37Speaker 4: Wow, did not know that having been to Indonesia once before,
- 34:41Speaker 4: I didn't notice anyone sort of you know, walking around
- 34:43Speaker 4: in costume in terms of you know, taking this thing
- 34:47Speaker 4: further afield internationally. Has it played out anywhere else around
- 34:50Speaker 4: the world?
- 34:50Speaker 2: Yet?
- 34:50Speaker 3: It went to gerardmir and France and also won a prize.
- 34:53Speaker 3: It won the Jury Prize. Wow, So it's kind of
- 34:56Speaker 3: It's kind of awesome how audiences literally globally in our
- 35:00Speaker 3: funny little jokes real crack up.
- 35:02Speaker 4: Yeah, that's real crackup. How was it funded, by the way,
- 35:08Speaker 4: because I know that you guys had to you know,
- 35:09Speaker 4: raise a bit of money.
- 35:10Speaker 6: Yep.
- 35:11Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah.
- 35:11Speaker 2: It was shot on a budget as well.
- 35:13Speaker 3: Oh, very small budget.
- 35:15Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 35:15Speaker 3: We crowdfunded about nineteen thousand dollars.
- 35:19Speaker 2: That is tiny.
- 35:20Speaker 4: Yeah, that is literally the amount you pay to get
- 35:22Speaker 4: Jason Hoyd, who's usually on the show on set for
- 35:24Speaker 4: one day.
- 35:25Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 35:25Speaker 10: I think the cutoff for a micro budget is like
- 35:28Speaker 10: a million bucks.
- 35:30Speaker 2: Right, so you just got in just buy a whisker.
- 35:32Speaker 10: We're below, we're well below a micro budget budget movie.
- 35:36Speaker 10: But yeah, we shot it over a summer. It was
- 35:40Speaker 10: there were about seven or eight of us all together,
- 35:42Speaker 10: but we were living and riding on site.
- 35:44Speaker 5: And then just started rolling the cameras and wow, yeah
- 35:48Speaker 5: in the experience.
- 35:49Speaker 3: And then we got asi ousie production company called Causeway
- 35:53Speaker 3: Films on board and they helped us with the postprod.
- 35:55Speaker 10: But yeah, they're serious guys. They did like the bubber
- 35:59Speaker 10: Duck and to me, they're.
- 36:04Speaker 2: All horrors, right yeah, yeah, yeah, right.
- 36:06Speaker 4: Okay, we've got Ellis and fern And Studio where the
- 36:10Speaker 4: new Zealand film The Weeder is coming out.
- 36:12Speaker 2: Comedy horror.
- 36:13Speaker 5: How much of the concept of this film hinges on
- 36:16Speaker 5: the fact that the word cannibal and cannabis sound very similar.
- 36:19Speaker 10: It's crazy, right. We've had a lot of people say,
- 36:22Speaker 10: surely this should have been called cannibal cannabis. Uh, it's
- 36:27Speaker 10: just happens to.
- 36:28Speaker 5: Be like that.
- 36:29Speaker 3: Okay, okay, yeah, I can assure you though the title
- 36:33Speaker 3: of the film.
- 36:34Speaker 5: Does pay off, right, yes, oh god, I don't even
- 36:39Speaker 5: want to know which would you guys prefer to watch
- 36:42Speaker 5: horror or comedy? Just at home with your partner, maybe
- 36:47Speaker 5: you're by yourself.
- 36:48Speaker 10: Well Zoolander, okay, we're not stone please el because we
- 36:53Speaker 10: are against druggings.
- 36:56Speaker 3: Both back in my pocket then.
- 36:58Speaker 10: Yeah, callum, the director has the kind of origin story
- 37:02Speaker 10: for the movie is he kept watching horror movies stoned
- 37:05Speaker 10: and then getting so freaked out he'd have to leave.
- 37:07Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 37:08Speaker 4: Right, so so you thought he'd make one so exactly
- 37:11Speaker 4: and maybe that it's like the immersion therapy thing where
- 37:13Speaker 4: you just like put yourself in there and maybe you'll
- 37:15Speaker 4: be sweet with it.
- 37:16Speaker 2: After like a bath of spiders. There's a group of.
- 37:18Speaker 5: People here that I've recently talked about and relatively close
- 37:21Speaker 5: proximity to you and I that were on a different
- 37:24Speaker 5: kind of narcotic over the weekend and decided to watch
- 37:27Speaker 5: the remake of Evil Dead. Have you guys seen that?
- 37:31Speaker 2: I hope they went on drugs?
- 37:33Speaker 7: What's that?
- 37:33Speaker 2: Who tell me who it is?
- 37:35Speaker 5: Now?
- 37:35Speaker 2: I want to get them fired. I'll let you know
- 37:36Speaker 2: for you Chezy okay.
- 37:38Speaker 4: Because your name is going to be in there if
- 37:39Speaker 4: you don't. Thank you so much Allison Finn for joining
- 37:42Speaker 4: us in studio. Don't forget Tonight's eight pm the International
- 37:46Speaker 4: Comedy It's Comedy Festival dot Cot ins it if you
- 37:47Speaker 4: want to go to that four D screening tonight, otherwise
- 37:50Speaker 4: it will be out from the thirtieth onwards across New Zealand.
- 37:53Speaker 2: It is called the weed Eaters. It is a horror comedy.
- 37:55Speaker 2: Thank you so much for coming in.
- 38:01Speaker 1: The Whodarchy Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy. Tune
- 38:04Speaker 1: in week days at four on Radio Hodarchy.
- 38:07Speaker 4: There's the Hurdachy Big Show all right for Friday, the
- 38:09Speaker 4: twenty fourth of April. However, Jason's in Australia at a wedding.
- 38:12Speaker 4: An old Mogi is almost did with some sickness as
- 38:15Speaker 4: per U. So you got the two healthy members of
- 38:17Speaker 4: the Big Show, Kezy, you know, Pug sunt and the
- 38:20Speaker 4: two of us have brought to you by delicious Toledos
- 38:23Speaker 4: out with.
- 38:23Speaker 5: The old un with the future Toledo's electrolytes, clean cutting
- 38:28Speaker 5: edge hydration. You've missed be getting it in you nice makes.
- 38:35Speaker 2: D come on man.
- 38:37Speaker 4: Then was like waiting for the audio to play that
- 38:40Speaker 4: automatically says Toledo's. And then at the last minute I
- 38:42Speaker 4: remember that we actually said every week.
- 38:44Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, it's live man, This is live radio.
- 38:46Speaker 4: Certainly is Pugs' got a dilemma. Go on doing some googling, man,
- 38:50Speaker 4: because I'm going to drive home to Todunger after this.
- 38:52Speaker 4: It's like oh three hours from Auckland. Yeah, and decided
- 38:56Speaker 4: I feel like eating a kebarb. Yea, some gonna get
- 38:58Speaker 4: a cabar but the only cabarub shop on the way
- 39:00Speaker 4: to my place is half an hour away from the
- 39:03Speaker 4: final destination. Do I eat a cabarb in the kebarb
- 39:07Speaker 4: shop at like ten pm? Do I pick it up
- 39:10Speaker 4: and take it home and then eat it half an
- 39:12Speaker 4: hour later? Or do I eat it like in the
- 39:15Speaker 4: car while driving?
- 39:16Speaker 5: You're telling me there's no kebab shops no on your route.
- 39:20Speaker 5: That's the closest even to my house. So you want
- 39:23Speaker 5: it to be close to your house?
- 39:24Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 39:25Speaker 5: I thought you meant.
- 39:28Speaker 3: So.
- 39:28Speaker 4: Do you do you eat it in the store weirdly
- 39:30Speaker 4: at like ten o'clock by yourself?
- 39:32Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 39:33Speaker 5: Eat it while driving? Kebarb a lot of Edmond? Yeah,
- 39:35Speaker 5: and possible spillage?
- 39:37Speaker 2: Or I wait half an hour?
- 39:38Speaker 5: You know what you do? What you buy the kebab
- 39:41Speaker 5: half an hour out right, and then you buy some
- 39:43Speaker 5: chips for the road, right, okay.
- 39:45Speaker 2: Then you eat the chips on the road.
- 39:46Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 39:46Speaker 2: And then by the time you get to the place,
- 39:48Speaker 2: you're full from the chips.
- 39:49Speaker 5: Well, you're not full from the chair.
- 39:50Speaker 4: Then you throw the kebarbe and you feed it to
- 39:52Speaker 4: the dog because you're so full, because I'm so from
- 39:55Speaker 4: the chips.
- 39:56Speaker 2: You're a genius. I get it. Man, He's used as
- 39:59Speaker 2: gen for good.
- 40:00Speaker 4: Coming up next, more best of the Big Show. This
- 40:03Speaker 4: is Radiohead on Hurdarky.
- 40:06Speaker 1: The Hdarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio hodk.
- 40:10Speaker 4: Ely suspect there on the Hurdarky Big Show Friday evening
- 40:12Speaker 4: with Keyzy and Pugsn and pugs Man. You've been elbow
- 40:16Speaker 4: deep in the Big Show archive. You've got another best
- 40:18Speaker 4: of the Big Show moment for us. Man, what's this elbow?
- 40:21Speaker 5: If your elbow deep, your legs aren't and obviously no, No,
- 40:25Speaker 5: you're reaching into something.
- 40:26Speaker 4: So you're standing behind and you're you're reaching in with
- 40:30Speaker 4: your arm and your elbow right up to your elbow,
- 40:32Speaker 4: so your body's outside. Okay, are you picturing your your
- 40:36Speaker 4: inside and you're only your elbow and.
- 40:38Speaker 5: No, I'm picturing being knee deep in something and then
- 40:40Speaker 5: bending over so my elbows are also deep.
- 40:43Speaker 2: Yeah, that's another way to be elbow That's where.
- 40:45Speaker 5: I'm at with the Big Show archive. That's the kind
- 40:48Speaker 5: of stuff you can expect.
- 40:49Speaker 3: Now.
- 40:49Speaker 5: This is a very very exciting announcement from Jason about
- 40:53Speaker 5: one of his daughters in her musical career pursuit.
- 40:56Speaker 7: Geez, how much you love that Pearl Jam song?
- 40:58Speaker 5: Though?
- 41:00Speaker 7: It is an absolute belter.
- 41:04Speaker 2: Wonder for it to go good live?
- 41:05Speaker 6: Looking forward to I'm going to see that one live?
- 41:08Speaker 7: Yeah yeah, well.
- 41:11Speaker 8: What Funnily enough fellows check this out. On Saturday, I
- 41:15Speaker 8: went to a gig one of my daughters was making
- 41:19Speaker 8: her debut on stage. Now, I just want to make
- 41:21Speaker 8: the clarification here.
- 41:22Speaker 7: It wasn't her band. She was asked to join the band.
- 41:25Speaker 7: And the bandle yes instrument guitar.
- 41:29Speaker 6: Oh yeah, he took a guitar and acoustic.
- 41:32Speaker 7: She was acoustack, but you know, plugged in. Oh yeah yeah.
- 41:36Speaker 8: So went along to that and it was quite genuinely
- 41:40Speaker 8: I was blown away. That was great, loved it, loved it.
- 41:43Speaker 8: But anyway, music there. Having said that, Having said that,
- 41:49Speaker 8: the next day, I was talking to Eddie funnily enough,
- 41:52Speaker 8: We're just talking about rearview mirror there, yeah, Eddie vidda
- 41:56Speaker 8: and just catching up and we probably once or twice
- 42:00Speaker 8: a month, just see how each is traveling and all
- 42:02Speaker 8: that sort. It's good at Chicken on your mates, Keezy,
- 42:06Speaker 8: Oh yeah, you've been mates since we're about sixteen, I think. Anyway,
- 42:12Speaker 8: he's like, how are you, what's been going on and
- 42:14Speaker 8: blah blah blah, and I was like, oh, oh, funnily enough,
- 42:18Speaker 8: ed I went and saw my daughter playing a band yesterday,
- 42:22Speaker 8: and he was like, oh, oh ready, you got any
- 42:25Speaker 8: what's the name of the band and blah blah blah.
- 42:27Speaker 8: And he went, oh, okay, that's cool. Have you got
- 42:29Speaker 8: any recordings? And I said, yeah, man, yeah, I really
- 42:32Speaker 8: I really like them. I'll fare them through to you.
- 42:34Speaker 7: So I didn't. We carried on chatting and we're going
- 42:37Speaker 7: to meet up when they're over here and stuff.
- 42:39Speaker 2: But anyway, next minute, that's a cool reference.
- 42:45Speaker 7: I get a call from Pearl Jam's manager.
- 42:48Speaker 2: Oh yeah, well what's that person's name? Andy?
- 42:52Speaker 8: And he goes, I've just we've just heard the band
- 42:56Speaker 8: I've just played and this is my recording. Yeah, but
- 42:59Speaker 8: my daughter was in just heard that. Absolutely fantastic. I
- 43:02Speaker 8: played it to the fouls in the band. They are
- 43:05Speaker 8: loving it and were wanting to know if you've got
- 43:08Speaker 8: contact because we'd love them to be our support act
- 43:10Speaker 8: when we're doing the tour of New Zealand. Context with
- 43:12Speaker 8: your daughter, No, you know, he wanted me to make
- 43:15Speaker 8: contact between them, so, you know, yeah, opening for Pearl Jam.
- 43:20Speaker 6: Congratulations.
- 43:21Speaker 8: What's so funny because then I read my daughter and
- 43:23Speaker 8: she's not really into them, but yeah, it's probably an opportunity.
- 43:26Speaker 6: You must be a proud father.
- 43:27Speaker 2: Yeah, it's pretty mate.
- 43:28Speaker 7: Because I am a huge Pearl Jam fan.
- 43:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 43:33Speaker 6: What's kind of nepotism though, because you know, you know,
- 43:35Speaker 6: you funny you bring this up because I wasn't going
- 43:38Speaker 6: to say anything, but it's just too much of a coincidence.
- 43:40Speaker 6: My daughter recently has been getting into the Beyonce album
- 43:44Speaker 6: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, she's loving it. But the
- 43:47Speaker 6: one that she really the song that she really likes,
- 43:49Speaker 6: that's the one that she's really first she loves music,
- 43:53Speaker 6: but this one she's really into. She wants it played
- 43:55Speaker 6: on repeat. Her cover of Blackbird by the Beatles, right,
- 44:00Speaker 6: which is a beautiful little ballad, just a little bit
- 44:03Speaker 6: of guitar on there, and that's it. Anyway, she's you know,
- 44:06Speaker 6: she's only four and a half. So I told her
- 44:08Speaker 6: how to play it and put it up on my
- 44:11Speaker 6: TikTok account there. Well, we wake up the next day.
- 44:14Speaker 6: Nine hundred million views, million, nine hundred million views and
- 44:21Speaker 6: next by about lunch show. I get this phone next
- 44:23Speaker 6: minute and I don't recognize the number, but it's from
- 44:27Speaker 6: America and I'm thinking, oh, what's the sort of best scam?
- 44:31Speaker 6: So I answer it. It's Andy, the manager of Pearl Jam.
- 44:36Speaker 6: How you said to me that performance is unbelieved? I said, yeah,
- 44:42Speaker 6: I know, and he said, what we would love is
- 44:46Speaker 6: if you could have your daughter come and close the
- 44:49Speaker 6: show out, close the night out, and sing Blackbird at
- 44:52Speaker 6: the end. I said, are you telling me that Pearl
- 44:57Speaker 6: Jam is going to open for my daughter? He said, yes, Wow,
- 45:00Speaker 6: so pil Jam is going to be opening for my
- 45:02Speaker 6: Daughter's the most impressive thing. Can I just I mean,
- 45:07Speaker 6: you kind of already knew Idy and everything not as but.
- 45:11Speaker 2: Still your daughter being on the bill is still pretty cool.
- 45:15Speaker 8: Headlining hang on, but listen, I just want to address
- 45:18Speaker 8: something that Keysy said there about nepotism, and interestingly, when
- 45:22Speaker 8: they're talking about the support ban, the Mogi, Edie said, look, Fellows,
- 45:30Speaker 8: Hoidy Jay is my best mate. I think I should
- 45:32Speaker 8: stand down from this and it should be a decision
- 45:35Speaker 8: that you should make because we're right, you know, because
- 45:38Speaker 8: we are best mates. And I don't want to you know,
- 45:41Speaker 8: dirty the waters.
- 45:42Speaker 6: I'm surprised there is that much thought going into it
- 45:44Speaker 6: considered it's just the opener.
- 45:46Speaker 2: Yeah sure, no one's even going to be there for that.
- 45:48Speaker 4: Yeah yeah, so yeah, yeah, that's so cool Mogi, because
- 45:55Speaker 4: how was how is your daughter?
- 45:57Speaker 2: She's still young? Four and a half. Yeah for Pearl Jam.
- 46:01Speaker 6: Wow, well pil Jam's opening for yeah yeah.
- 46:05Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, far right, So they've changed all the marketing
- 46:07Speaker 2: on the show and all.
- 46:08Speaker 6: Yeah, a poor good mate.
- 46:12Speaker 4: Actually, if anyone listening actually saw Moggi Minogi, Mogi's daughter
- 46:17Speaker 4: closing for Pearl Jam and has a review see it
- 46:19Speaker 4: on through on three four eight three, would love to
- 46:21Speaker 4: hear we never sort of heard how that went.
- 46:23Speaker 5: Pugs absolutely and obviously fifty dollars Toledo's cash. That's just
- 46:26Speaker 5: real cash, brought to you by Toledo's up for grabs. Yeah,
- 46:29Speaker 5: and everybody who ticks in and the drawer, Pugs, Yeah,
- 46:33Speaker 5: you're the man.
- 46:34Speaker 1: The Wholdaking Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy tune
- 46:37Speaker 1: in week days at four on Radio Hodarchy.

- 46:46Speaker 4: last chance to jump into the Bitcher Backbone pot.

- 46:51Speaker 4: If you would like to punt on this weekend's Warriors
- 46:54Speaker 4: game and put some cash in and have a bit
- 46:56Speaker 4: of a chitty chat with me and the rest of
- 46:57Speaker 4: the degenerates in there, then head to the Bitch, go
- 47:00Speaker 4: to bits Social, and then join the pot using the
- 47:03Speaker 4: invite code Backbone.
- 47:05Speaker 2: I'll see you there.
- 47:06Speaker 4: Let's get We're not gonna get rich. Currently fifteen hundred
- 47:09Speaker 4: bucks in the whole, but pugsunt. You recently went to Vietnam?
- 47:12Speaker 2: Am I?
- 47:13Speaker 6: Right?
- 47:13Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 47:13Speaker 5: And just on that, Chris, I actually went to Vietnam.
- 47:15Speaker 5: I don't know if I told you?
- 47:16Speaker 2: Did you?
- 47:17Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 47:17Speaker 5: Event best trip of my life?
- 47:23Speaker 2: Did I tell you? I'm actually really pleased to hear that.
- 47:26Speaker 5: Yeah, it genuinely was an absolutely rapper. But I did
- 47:28Speaker 5: have one absolute shocker on the actually the second to
- 47:32Speaker 5: last night and then into the final day. Okay, so
- 47:35Speaker 5: we were in hand, NOI right? And sorry, you're just
- 47:46Speaker 5: continue you want to play this out. On the second
- 47:48Speaker 5: to last night, I decided to take my partner out
- 47:51Speaker 5: for a bit of a date, just us too, you know,
- 47:53Speaker 5: and the other couple went out on a separate date,
- 47:54Speaker 5: just as like a nice little couple of times before
- 47:56Speaker 5: we went home and turned into an absoluteaotic.
- 48:00Speaker 2: Really shambles in the best way.
- 48:02Speaker 5: Okay, So we went up for a date at a
- 48:04Speaker 5: record bar. Then we met up with the please go on,
- 48:11Speaker 5: We're to the vegetarian restaurant, and then caught up with
- 48:14Speaker 5: a couple later. Then later we ended up in a
- 48:16Speaker 5: techno club where you couldn't find it except for finding
- 48:18Speaker 5: a dude outside a garage door who then said are
- 48:21Speaker 5: you here for the And then like he'd open the
- 48:22Speaker 5: garage door and you go in and you go up
- 48:24Speaker 5: the stairs and then there's like a massive ravely house.
- 48:26Speaker 5: Ended up in there very late night next day, like
- 48:31Speaker 5: yesterday on the Big Show. If you listen to The
- 48:32Speaker 5: Big Show, you would have heard I was not in
- 48:33Speaker 5: my best, you know, my most so your steady mindset.
- 48:36Speaker 5: I was hungover, didn't have much brain power. We went
- 48:38Speaker 5: to Train Street. Are you familiar with Train Street in Hanoi?
- 48:41Speaker 4: That's the street with the train where everyone has to
- 48:42Speaker 4: move all their tables and shit because the train goes past.
- 48:44Speaker 2: That's right.
- 48:45Speaker 5: We went their first thing in the morning, and we
- 48:47Speaker 5: were heading into our last sort of day A couple
- 48:49Speaker 5: of days before we got on the plane. And as
- 48:52Speaker 5: we got there, you know, there's people trying to usher
- 48:54Speaker 5: you into their cafes because they want you to spend
- 48:56Speaker 5: your money there. And we were just like, oh my gosh,
- 48:59Speaker 5: just please just first one. We'll just go to the
- 49:00Speaker 5: first one. It doesn't matter, we don't care. We sat
- 49:02Speaker 5: down and as we sit down, this feller comes up
- 49:05Speaker 5: to me with a tray that he hangs from around
- 49:07Speaker 5: his neck, a massive tray of lighters, and he had
- 49:10Speaker 5: a big selection of lighters and he's like, oh, do
- 49:12Speaker 5: you want a lighter or something because he saw that
- 49:13Speaker 5: we had well one of the peoples that he had
- 49:17Speaker 5: some diarries, and he was like, do you want a
- 49:19Speaker 5: lighter or whatever? And at this point I don't know
- 49:21Speaker 5: why I hadn't even had any interest in buying a lighter.
- 49:24Speaker 5: I think I was just hung over and looking to
- 49:26Speaker 5: spend money, right, And I was like okay, yeah, like
- 49:28Speaker 5: what do we go? What are we looking at here?
- 49:30Speaker 5: Usually I would have would not have gone for it,
- 49:33Speaker 5: should have just ordered the food and left him. Anyway,
- 49:35Speaker 5: he shows me this lighter and it's got ho Chi
- 49:37Speaker 5: min on it, very famous very very important person in
- 49:41Speaker 5: Vietnam's history. Yes, and it was a lighter. It was
- 49:44Speaker 5: a gold lighter that had a red Vietnamese flag and
- 49:47Speaker 5: hoa a picture of Ho Chi Min. And I was like,
- 49:49Speaker 5: that's that's kind of catchy, that's kind of cute. I'll
- 49:51Speaker 5: grab that guy. And I was like, oh, how much
- 49:52Speaker 5: is this? And he goes for you five hundred and
- 49:55Speaker 5: fifty thousand dong.
- 49:57Speaker 2: Now is that in New Zealand?
- 49:59Speaker 5: Five hundred and fifty two thousand dong is I'm putting
- 50:01Speaker 5: it in my calculator here, thirty five dollars right right
- 50:06Speaker 5: for this lighter. And I'm like, oh, there's no way,
- 50:08Speaker 5: and you know, like I'm down for a bit of
- 50:09Speaker 5: a haggel, and so I said, look, what why don't
- 50:12Speaker 5: you do?
- 50:12Speaker 6: And I just said, I.
- 50:13Speaker 5: Sit around my grip. I was like, wat, shut off
- 50:14Speaker 5: to watch it over and then my mate just goes,
- 50:16Speaker 5: oh to eighty, which is eighteen dollars.
- 50:19Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 50:19Speaker 5: I was like, here enough, so that's pretty good. I
- 50:22Speaker 5: bought the lighter off them, yeah, for two hundred and
- 50:25Speaker 5: eighty thousand dollars, And I was immediately like, why did
- 50:27Speaker 5: I do that? Why did I just buy a lighter,
- 50:29Speaker 5: a novelty lighter. Yeah, for eighteen New Zealand dollars.
- 50:33Speaker 9: Right.
- 50:34Speaker 5: I tried to get as much use out of it
- 50:35Speaker 5: as I could, But the whole time I kind of
- 50:37Speaker 5: felt like I'd spent too much money on that lighter.
- 50:39Speaker 5: I could have haggled a bit more, flicking at whatever,
- 50:41Speaker 5: spending it as much as I could, you know, just
- 50:44Speaker 5: lighting it around people. And then I meet up with
- 50:46Speaker 5: a friend that I meet on the Harjong Loop a
- 50:48Speaker 5: little bit later, she had got a lighter from the
- 50:50Speaker 5: same place. How much do you think she spent on
- 50:52Speaker 5: her lighter?
- 50:53Speaker 2: Seventeen dollars fifty.
- 50:56Speaker 5: Thousand Vietnamese dong, which is what three dollars park and
- 51:00Speaker 5: then what then it stopped working to night that I
- 51:04Speaker 5: bought it, and then I got it take it off
- 51:06Speaker 5: me in Shanghai airport.
- 51:07Speaker 2: Oh wow, eighteen dollars down the drain man.
- 51:10Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 51:10Speaker 2: How Good's Vietnam though.
- 51:12Speaker 1: The Hiarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio Hurdarchy.
- 51:16Speaker 4: Jane's addiction on The Hidarchy Big Show. Been caught stealing
- 51:19Speaker 4: and a man who's also been caught stealing, Oh, pugs
- 51:22Speaker 4: and stealing your heart? Yeah yeah, and other stuff from
- 51:26Speaker 4: work mate, we know about it. Yeah, sorry, it's the
- 51:27Speaker 4: station headphones. Yeah, the head bring back the headphone, yeah,
- 51:30Speaker 4: and all the free purse. No, that's all responsibly.
- 51:33Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 51:33Speaker 10: Nice.
- 51:34Speaker 4: The reason Pugs is here and not Hoidy Jay and
- 51:36Speaker 4: Megi is that Moggy's almost did from some sickness he's
- 51:38Speaker 4: got and Hoidy j is over in Australia at a wedding.
- 51:41Speaker 4: They'll be back on Tuesday, the big Shelly back and fall.
- 51:44Speaker 4: In the meantime, you have been in the archives, Pugs,
- 51:46Speaker 4: what do you got for us?
- 51:47Speaker 5: Speaking of perse Kezy, Mike Minogue's lovely wife actually went
- 51:52Speaker 5: out for a social occasion and came back. And you know,
- 51:55Speaker 5: it's one of those things where you're getting enough wines
- 51:57Speaker 5: in you and the truth starts to come out.
- 52:00Speaker 6: My wife went out for a rap party. A rap party.
- 52:07Speaker 6: You remember rap parties, Joe. So those who work in
- 52:09Speaker 6: the film they know about those. And it was for
- 52:11Speaker 6: the movie Minecraft.
- 52:13Speaker 2: So that's when the movie's done, everyone's finished. That's a
- 52:15Speaker 2: rap let's have a party.
- 52:17Speaker 6: Yeah, I like it. So she she did that, she
- 52:19Speaker 6: went out and look, we're being slogging lately and she's
- 52:22Speaker 6: she's more than a night out. So but when when
- 52:26Speaker 6: she's out, I always I'm a little bit concerned because
- 52:30Speaker 6: you know, it's my wife. I mean, I'm not considered
- 52:32Speaker 6: to the point where I put a tracking device on
- 52:34Speaker 6: like Kezy. But I don't feel I'm not able to
- 52:37Speaker 6: sleep until she's home, do you know what I mean?
- 52:39Speaker 6: That's just the way I am.
- 52:41Speaker 4: Quickly, I don't put a tracking device his wife. That's
- 52:45Speaker 4: just weird. Anyone that thinks that is out of life.
- 52:47Speaker 6: Anyway, she got home and she came in and I'm
- 52:51Speaker 6: bling a bed that I.
- 52:52Speaker 2: Turn on the lamp, your good baby.
- 52:54Speaker 6: Or anyways, she sort of makes her way over to
- 53:01Speaker 6: the bed there and she goes to give me a
- 53:02Speaker 6: kiss hello, and she plunks it big kiss right in
- 53:07Speaker 6: the center of my honker.
- 53:09Speaker 2: Oh wow.
- 53:10Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 53:10Speaker 2: So she wouldn't have had to been down very far
- 53:12Speaker 2: for that, which is handy.
- 53:15Speaker 6: So well, that's my point, Keezy. So I guess my
- 53:17Speaker 6: question is was had she had a few drinks and
- 53:21Speaker 6: her aim was off? Or have I got a big nose?
- 53:26Speaker 8: I to be honest with your mate, IM, I've never
- 53:31Speaker 8: really noticed, No, not that I've ever.
- 53:36Speaker 7: It's neither sort of caught my eye or anything like
- 53:39Speaker 7: that you know what I mean.
- 53:40Speaker 2: If it did though.
- 53:42Speaker 6: We josh around on the show. Yeah, yeah, I thought
- 53:46Speaker 6: we was just joshing because we were not with Gezy. No,
- 53:51Speaker 6: that's right, because it's sort of like it's sort of
- 53:53Speaker 6: good of all three of us. I've got a big honker,
- 53:55Speaker 6: but it's only you two really, So.
- 54:00Speaker 7: Oh okay, okay, we're going down that route, are we?
- 54:08Speaker 4: I think look looking around, let's just say it's not
- 54:12Speaker 4: out of place. It's nothing to be alarmed.
- 54:14Speaker 6: But that's right. I think in this room it's probably normal. Wow,
- 54:19Speaker 6: smaller than normal?
- 54:21Speaker 2: Yeah, well you're honker.
- 54:22Speaker 6: Well we know who's got the biggest honker.
- 54:26Speaker 4: Sorry, is this about Jase having the biggest honker or
- 54:28Speaker 4: you big self conscious about your honker?
- 54:29Speaker 6: No, it's me self conscious about mine. Jason's trying to
- 54:32Speaker 6: make out now that I've got a bigger one than him,
- 54:34Speaker 6: but not nose. Yeah, okay, So I just want to
- 54:38Speaker 6: get this right. So you're in bed, thank you.
- 54:42Speaker 7: Your wife comes home from the Red party. She opens
- 54:46Speaker 7: the bedroom door and kisses you on the nose.
- 54:48Speaker 2: No, she had to walk across the room from she
- 54:51Speaker 2: didn't have to.
- 54:52Speaker 7: Yeah, apparently you were saying that she didn't.
- 54:54Speaker 8: She just stood at the doorway more right in the
- 54:56Speaker 8: middle of your massive snares.
- 54:58Speaker 2: I don't. I don't think it's anything to be self
- 55:00Speaker 2: conscious about.
- 55:01Speaker 4: Certainly, you're a confident guy. Confident one is that weighing
- 55:05Speaker 4: on your mind in the front of your head, you
- 55:07Speaker 4: know what I mean exactly? So I think just push
- 55:10Speaker 4: it out of your mind. Yeah, nothing to worry.
- 55:15Speaker 2: Yeah, thank you, Yeah, I thought so.
- 55:17Speaker 6: Cheers.
- 55:20Speaker 2: We can make you feel better.
- 55:20Speaker 6: Man, No worries man, Sure that's what happened.
- 55:24Speaker 4: Yes, Moogie's nose is massive. Honk has probably filled to
- 55:27Speaker 4: the brim with snot as we speak. Hopefully, hopefully we're
- 55:32Speaker 4: back on Tuesday, The Big Show back and full. In
- 55:34Speaker 4: the meantime, every show we've ever done available where we
- 55:36Speaker 4: get your podcasts from.
- 55:38Speaker 1: The Hiarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio Hodarchy.
- 55:49Speaker 4: That is the Big Show done in Dustin for Friday,
- 55:51Speaker 4: the twenty fourth of April or Big Week pug Son. Yeah,
- 55:55Speaker 4: you know, having a Wednesday live show in Dunedin on
- 55:57Speaker 4: High in hindsight.
- 55:59Speaker 2: Is kind of a huge call.
- 56:00Speaker 5: It's a crazy hunt day.
- 56:02Speaker 4: Yeah, because it's great and then the next day you're
- 56:04Speaker 4: terrible and then usually we do them like a Friday
- 56:07Speaker 4: or a Thursday night and then you'll be into the weekend.
- 56:09Speaker 2: But we're not. We're back here as result. Maggie Hoidy
- 56:12Speaker 2: jays away.
- 56:13Speaker 4: Yeah, it's been a long week, it is, but I've
- 56:15Speaker 4: been fun. That's good man, that's all it counts. You
- 56:18Speaker 4: going down to Hawks Bay to night drive safe?
- 56:20Speaker 6: Mate?
- 56:20Speaker 2: Hey, thank you? All right, we'll do.
- 56:22Speaker 5: I'll probably stop get some kind the way. My dad
- 56:24Speaker 5: lives down there now, so I'll be catching up with
- 56:26Speaker 5: my partner's family and also going to see the old Man,
- 56:28Speaker 5: which would be cool.
- 56:29Speaker 2: Sweet.
- 56:29Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm gonna go visit my brother and Todunger. My
- 56:31Speaker 4: parents are currently away on holiday, yes, and so we're
- 56:35Speaker 4: going to go down to their place while they're away
- 56:37Speaker 4: on holiday because they got a spar pool.
- 56:40Speaker 2: They've been like all the set up, you know. That's hot.
- 56:42Speaker 4: And me and I'm just gonna play golf and watch
- 56:44Speaker 4: rugby league and just have a bit of a boys.
- 56:46Speaker 2: Weekend, you know. Yeah, the boys, the Feilers I'm excited for.
- 56:49Speaker 2: You can't bloody wait. The Big Show will be back
- 56:51Speaker 2: this coming Tuesday.
- 56:53Speaker 4: Have a fantastic long weekend from myself and old punks
- 56:56Speaker 4: aren't over there, and the other two feelers we'll see
- 56:58Speaker 4: you later.
- 56:59Speaker 6: See the
- 57:02Speaker 5: Sup
