I always struggle to talk about the weather in German. Let's start. Lucas: First phrase: Wie ist das Wetter? It means 'How is the weather?' Let's say it together. Wie ist das Wetter? Luna: Wie ist das Wetter? Lucas: Perfect. Now, a common answer: Die Sonne scheint. That means 'The sun is shining.' Repeat after me: Die Sonne scheint. Luna: Die Sonne scheint. Lucas: Good. And if it's raining: Es regnet. 'It is raining.' Can you say that? Luna: Es regnet. Lucas: Exactly. Now let's put it together. If the sun is shining, you might say: Ich gehe spazieren.
