- 0:44Speaker 2: Yes, that's a good attitude this morning.
- 0:47Speaker 5: I'm trying because well, I got home late because I
- 0:49Speaker 5: went to see my son's football game and it was
- 0:51Speaker 5: a big game. So raise you get home to like
- 0:53Speaker 5: ten thirty. They lost for the first time this season,
- 0:57Speaker 5: first time this season, first game they lost. So sorry, writer,
- 1:01Speaker 5: big Alito rivalry. Oh but it's all good.
- 1:04Speaker 1: It's okay.
- 1:05Speaker 3: You know, it was a good game. It's still fun
- 1:06Speaker 3: either way.
- 1:07Speaker 5: I didn't get home till late, and you know, it's
- 1:08Speaker 5: just like if I'm not in bed by ten when
- 1:11Speaker 5: we get up at three thirty. Yeah, I'm pretty much
- 1:13Speaker 5: a troll the next day, so I am troll the
- 1:16Speaker 5: kid this morning.
- 1:17Speaker 2: Either way, we're ready for it.
- 1:18Speaker 3: Oh good, Cannice, how are you.
- 1:20Speaker 2: I'm good. I'm good. I was just gonna tell you
- 1:21Speaker 2: remember that video we posted yesterday on the mixed Instagram
- 1:24Speaker 2: asking people to vote about you and the unicycle.
- 1:27Speaker 3: Oh yeah, yeah.
- 1:28Speaker 2: I got so many d ms about that, and they
- 1:30Speaker 2: were like, why are you trolling him? Support him? He
- 1:33Speaker 2: can do it. And then someone yeah, since another comment
- 1:36Speaker 2: was like, it's a dance at the end for me,
- 1:39Speaker 2: I guess you did some little like dance.
- 1:40Speaker 3: At the end. Well, because I'm sick of getting doubted.
- 1:43Speaker 2: Well then one of the comments that why is he
- 1:45Speaker 2: doing this? And that was it.
- 1:47Speaker 3: Why am I doing what?
- 1:48Speaker 2: Why are you like doing riding a unicycle? Why would
- 1:50Speaker 2: you ride a unicycle?
- 1:52Speaker 3: Because I was obsessed with unicycles when I was a kid.
- 1:54Speaker 2: Yeah, there you go, there's the answer.
- 1:56Speaker 3: There's the answer. I don't know why.
- 1:57Speaker 5: Yeah, randomly, you don't believe that I can write a unicycle?
- 2:00Speaker 2: No, because you've been talking about it. It's like poohai,
- 2:03Speaker 2: he's been.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Talking Yeah for a few.
- 2:05Speaker 2: Years and we've just never seen it. And you've been
- 2:09Speaker 2: talking about it for a few years and we've never
- 2:10Speaker 2: seen that either.
- 2:11Speaker 5: Okay, massive difference though. I can actually ride a unicycle, I.
- 2:15Speaker 1: Get water ski I just we just don't have a
- 2:17Speaker 1: boat and skis.
- 2:18Speaker 3: I have a boat and I have skis.
- 2:21Speaker 5: I'm not going to make Yeah, I've told you so
- 2:25Speaker 5: many times, like make it happen. Then, like make it
- 2:27Speaker 5: happen anytime you want, We'll do it. We can make
- 2:29Speaker 5: the video. I said, if you get up on a
- 2:31Speaker 5: pair of water skis and ride for more than two
- 2:34Speaker 5: minutes on three attempts, then I will actually give you
- 2:38Speaker 5: five hundred dollars. And he hasn't made it happen. So
- 2:42Speaker 5: whatever the unicycle, I'll make it up for whatever reason.
- 2:45Speaker 5: When I was a kid, there was a weird, oh,
- 2:48Speaker 5: weird oh dude in my neighborhood. They would ride a
- 2:51Speaker 5: unicycle around weird like a six foot unicycle, and I
- 2:55Speaker 5: thought it was the coolest thing ever when you're like,
- 2:56Speaker 5: you know, nine or ten, totally. So I begged my
- 2:59Speaker 5: mom for a unicycle when I was a kid for Christmas,
- 3:02Speaker 5: and she actually got me one.
- 3:03Speaker 2: That's amazing.
- 3:04Speaker 3: And then I learned how to ride it.
- 3:05Speaker 2: So is yours a six foot or is it like
- 3:07Speaker 2: shorter one?
- 3:08Speaker 3: It's a normal size.
- 3:09Speaker 2: See that's what I pictured. You do it like a
- 3:11Speaker 2: circus unicycle.
- 3:12Speaker 5: But it's been a while, so I'm like, well, let
- 3:14Speaker 5: me try it, and you know, so I'm gonna have
- 3:16Speaker 5: to get it out and like you know, it takes
- 3:17Speaker 5: them minute to kind of find your vibe again. But
- 3:20Speaker 5: I can absolutely ride one. Okay, So I'm gonna bring
- 3:22Speaker 5: it in. I'm gonna prove it. I'm gonna do it.
- 3:23Speaker 3: On social media. Do I look stupid? Yes?
- 3:26Speaker 2: Oh that's the best part.
- 3:28Speaker 3: Yeah. Does this music play in your head when I'm
- 3:31Speaker 3: riding it?
- 3:32Speaker 6: Yes?
- 3:33Speaker 3: Yes, Yeah.
- 3:34Speaker 5: There's no way to look cool on a unicycle. No,
- 3:36Speaker 5: well not for me. At least other people look cool.
- 3:38Speaker 5: There's guys who do tricks on them.
- 3:40Speaker 2: Wow.
- 3:40Speaker 5: I do zero tricks. Okay, zero tricks, just like you
- 3:43Speaker 5: know it too. Had the nerve to ask me if
- 3:45Speaker 5: my unicycle training wheels.
- 3:48Speaker 3: It's so irritated, it was so married.
- 3:51Speaker 1: Did you ride it? I'm proved I did seen it before.
- 3:53Speaker 2: Yeah, okay, what.
- 3:55Speaker 3: Are you talking about? Then you're doubting me? Nobody has
- 3:58Speaker 3: ever seen you water ski.
- 4:00Speaker 1: I know what I have.
- 4:01Speaker 5: Oh sure, yeah, I'm sure you did decades ago when
- 4:06Speaker 5: you had knees, like you know, in your twenties, when
- 4:09Speaker 5: your knees can handle it. Anyway, speaking of producer, Pa.
- 4:13Speaker 6: You, I can't understand why my kids always get hurt
- 4:17Speaker 6: when they're on my watch. Let me explain my twelve
- 4:20Speaker 6: year old Paul. He said, Dad, can I go to
- 4:23Speaker 6: my friend's farm? I said, yeah, yeah, yeah, farm, go to.
- 4:27Speaker 2: My friend's farm.
- 4:28Speaker 6: Okay, so he goes to his French farm. I get
- 4:31Speaker 6: a call, Uh, your son got bit. Oh And I
- 4:35Speaker 6: was like, okay, you got bit? What what's going on?
- 4:38Speaker 7: Yeah?
- 4:38Speaker 1: Me to said urgent care or whatever.
- 4:41Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 4:41Speaker 6: Yeah, So I keep the urgent care and I'm like,
- 4:44Speaker 6: he's holding his pinky and I'm like, what happened? He goes,
- 4:47Speaker 6: I got bit by Thomas's copy Bara. A copy Bara
- 4:53Speaker 6: is related to the Beaver family.
- 4:55Speaker 1: They're like three times this big, and this friend has
- 4:59Speaker 1: a pet.
- 4:59Speaker 6: So what happened was a little baby when got loose,
- 5:03Speaker 6: and my son went to go rescue it because his
- 5:06Speaker 6: friend has two dogs that were gonna try to eat it.
- 5:08Speaker 2: He's only wants to be a veterinarian.
- 5:09Speaker 1: Yes, of course, so he he grabbed the little baby.
- 5:14Speaker 6: Well, when he did that, one of the dogs bit
- 5:16Speaker 6: the bit the baby, and the baby bit Paul.
- 5:22Speaker 3: He's bleeding. So the dog bit the copy bar, and
- 5:26Speaker 3: the copy bar beg his.
- 5:27Speaker 6: Son because my son, I'm like, why why didn't you
- 5:31Speaker 6: just let it go? I didn't want the dogs to
- 5:33Speaker 6: eat it.
- 5:33Speaker 1: I was like, I understand, I hate those things.
- 5:37Speaker 4: That.
- 5:37Speaker 3: Yeah, it's just a roading.
- 5:38Speaker 1: Yeah. If you check out my instagram, that's what.
- 5:40Speaker 3: They look like.
- 5:41Speaker 1: It's a big old road.
- 5:42Speaker 3: It's basically a big, big guinea pig.
- 5:45Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 5:46Speaker 3: Yeah, I think they're related to guinea pigs, Candice.
- 5:49Speaker 1: I'm telling you, these things are big.
- 5:51Speaker 2: Does they have like the big two front teams?
- 5:52Speaker 5: Oh yeah, that's random. That is one random thing I
- 5:55Speaker 5: know about the copy bars. One random fact. Their teeth
- 5:59Speaker 5: never top growing. Oh yes, what so? Yeah, they never
- 6:04Speaker 5: stopped growing. Oh so, just letting you know. And I
- 6:07Speaker 5: don't even think they're legal. Are they legal to own
- 6:10Speaker 5: around here? I don't know, but I know his his
- 6:12Speaker 5: friend they have that, and they have two kangaroos. What
- 6:16Speaker 5: where is that outside of Wiley?
- 6:19Speaker 3: Yeah, Levon?
- 6:19Speaker 6: Yeah, wow, Okay, he's fine now, But I'm just saying.
- 6:25Speaker 3: So what happens? Stitches nothing, stitches and stitches.
- 6:29Speaker 1: Yeah, just right here on the end, you have to.
- 6:30Speaker 3: Get stitches.
- 6:34Speaker 6: Because a copy bo Yeah, and he's already like waiting
- 6:38Speaker 6: to be able to play football again from a concussion.
- 6:40Speaker 6: I'm like, Baul, can you just stop?
- 6:45Speaker 3: Yeah, bubble rap, that is definitely your son.
- 6:47Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 6:48Speaker 4: It's Top Stories on the Tens with Billy the Kid
- 6:51Speaker 4: in the.
- 6:51Speaker 2: Morning only on the new Mixed one or two point nine.
- 6:55Speaker 5: We call it Friday Eve. It is Thursday. But hey,
- 6:57Speaker 5: that's good, all right. It feels a weird week because
- 6:59Speaker 5: money was kind of a holiday, kind of not for
- 7:01Speaker 5: some people. So either way, Cannislowpez, what do you got.
- 7:04Speaker 2: Well, the city of Plano broke around yesterday on the
- 7:07Speaker 2: Miaco Hybrid Hotel. This is a more than one hundred
- 7:10Speaker 2: million dollar project. It's going to be going up off
- 7:13Speaker 2: Legacy and Headquarters Drive. So this will be the first
- 7:16Speaker 2: of these in the US and the first and only
- 7:19Speaker 2: one in Texas. It's expected to bring more than one
- 7:21Speaker 2: hundred and thirty new jobs to Plano, with two hundred
- 7:24Speaker 2: and fifty six guest rooms, rooftop bar and restaurant, and
- 7:28Speaker 2: a Japanese inspired spa. This thing looks incredible.
- 7:31Speaker 5: It really does, right, and like you said, over one
- 7:34Speaker 5: hundred million dollars. You know what's wild to me is
- 7:36Speaker 5: that area right there, Yeah, you know, Tollway and one
- 7:39Speaker 5: twenty one.
- 7:41Speaker 3: It's starting to have a skyline.
- 7:43Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 7:43Speaker 2: You told me that. When I first moved back after
- 7:45Speaker 2: being gone for like fifteen years or something, I had
- 7:47Speaker 2: no idea. I'm like, what is all this?
- 7:50Speaker 5: And you know, I've been here for twenty five years.
- 7:52Speaker 5: So my first house was in Frisco and it was
- 7:54Speaker 5: pretty much a cornfield.
- 7:55Speaker 1: Yeah, no it was.
- 7:56Speaker 5: And now you drive up there and it just it
- 7:59Speaker 5: always just gets me that. I'm like, that is becoming
- 8:03Speaker 5: a skyline, yeah, for sure.
- 8:04Speaker 2: And this high end you know Japanese hotel, I mean,
- 8:07Speaker 2: it's gonna be incredible. They're expecting it to be finished
- 8:09Speaker 2: in the fall of twenty twenty seven. But that's the
- 8:12Speaker 2: place I would just go to have a staycation, for sure.
- 8:15Speaker 2: So guys, listen to this. Reclining your seat on West
- 8:17Speaker 2: Jet flights will soon cost you extra. Uh huh, yep, I'm.
- 8:25Speaker 3: Gonna have to pay to recline my seat.
- 8:27Speaker 2: On west Jet. I hope this is not going to
- 8:29Speaker 2: start a new trend for other airlines. But so they're
- 8:32Speaker 2: removing reclining seats from standard economy on forty three of
- 8:37Speaker 2: its seven thirty seven planes. You can still recline if
- 8:39Speaker 2: you upgrade to Premium or Extended Comfort, but west Jet says,
- 8:44Speaker 2: you know, these new fixed seats will give travelers more
- 8:47Speaker 2: personal space, plus adjustable headrests, better cushions, power outlets, and
- 8:52Speaker 2: tablet holders.
- 8:54Speaker 5: You just hit some sort of thing in the evolution
- 8:57Speaker 5: of society where we're going backwards. You know, at one
- 9:00Speaker 5: point everything was about comfort and it was like, oh, okay,
- 9:03Speaker 5: now there's more like room, now, there's more of this. Now,
- 9:05Speaker 5: there's more now in certain areas and industries like airline. Yeah,
- 9:09Speaker 5: it's going backwards where it's like, oh, it's less less
- 9:11Speaker 5: and less right because they're either greedy or whatever, and
- 9:15Speaker 5: they want to make more money and we're paying more,
- 9:17Speaker 5: and it's like at some point we just have to
- 9:19Speaker 5: go you know, no, yeah, I'm not gonna have to
- 9:21Speaker 5: pay for basic comfort, right.
- 9:23Speaker 2: That's insane. Like they're saying this is going to give
- 9:25Speaker 2: them room for an extra row of seats there too,
- 9:28Speaker 2: So oh, I'm like okay, So what is that six
- 9:30Speaker 2: more you know, flights, the people that are going to
- 9:33Speaker 2: be on board that you can make money off of.
- 9:35Speaker 5: I mean, have you seen some of the mock ups
- 9:36Speaker 5: that they're saying airline travel that might be eventually where
- 9:39Speaker 5: there's going to be someone over you?
- 9:41Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah.
- 9:41Speaker 3: Oh it was the most It's the most awkward thing.
- 9:43Speaker 2: It's awful.
- 9:44Speaker 5: So like you're sitting there in your normal seat, but
- 9:46Speaker 5: then there's someone right in front of you, but they're elevated,
- 9:49Speaker 5: like they're almost.
- 9:50Speaker 3: Hanging in the air bus.
- 9:51Speaker 5: Yeah, kind of a double decker bus and they're standing though.
- 9:55Speaker 3: It's like, you're it's weird. You got to see it.
- 9:57Speaker 2: The one that has like a bike seat, that's you're basic,
- 10:01Speaker 2: that's the one I can't handle because I'm like, this
- 10:03Speaker 2: is a standing room seat and like, well how am
- 10:05Speaker 2: I standing in? I have a seat, but it's like
- 10:07Speaker 2: basically having a little bike, yeah seat where you just
- 10:10Speaker 2: kind of hover a little bit.
- 10:12Speaker 3: Can you imagine would you dangle from the ceiling of
- 10:15Speaker 3: an airplane.
- 10:16Speaker 2: I'm not gonna hover.
- 10:17Speaker 5: If it was less, No, would you? I mean, how
- 10:19Speaker 5: many people will travel this way? They'll go you know,
- 10:21Speaker 5: I need to recline the seats. I mean there's a
- 10:23Speaker 5: lot of people who.
- 10:23Speaker 3: Will and I get it for sure. For sure, I
- 10:26Speaker 3: don't reclimb my seat anyway because I'm a weirdo.
- 10:27Speaker 2: Oh well, then what do you care?
- 10:29Speaker 3: Because it's the fact that the matter is that they're.
- 10:33Speaker 2: Getting greasy little and I want to recline.
- 10:35Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean extra leg room, extra this. Eventually you're
- 10:38Speaker 5: gonna be charged for the necessities of Oh you want water?
- 10:41Speaker 8: Right?
- 10:42Speaker 5: Can I not get one? Drink one little water? And
- 10:45Speaker 5: I get the basic necessities.
- 10:47Speaker 2: If I ever have to fill my water bottle up
- 10:49Speaker 2: on an airplane, I'm gonna be upset.
- 10:50Speaker 3: I'm sorry.
- 10:51Speaker 5: You want to use the bathroom? Oh you want bathroom access?
- 10:53Speaker 5: That's actually extra.
- 10:55Speaker 6: They already shrunk the snacks. You used to get two
- 10:58Speaker 6: of those, miss cough a little.
- 11:00Speaker 1: Just now you only get on.
- 11:01Speaker 3: I'm just saying, of course, that's about all right.
- 11:07Speaker 2: It's important. It is important, real quick. Britney Spears is
- 11:10Speaker 2: responding to her ex husband Kevin fetterline. So yesterday, you know,
- 11:14Speaker 2: he started doing press for his book It's called You
- 11:16Speaker 2: thought you knew It's coming out Tuesday. He's already spilled
- 11:19Speaker 2: so much dirt on her saying, you know, he fears
- 11:22Speaker 2: for her well being, that the clock is ticking on
- 11:24Speaker 2: something bad happening if things don't change well. Brittany released
- 11:28Speaker 2: a statement yesterday saying she has had enough that his
- 11:31Speaker 2: constant gaslighting has become extremely hurtful and exhausting. She said,
- 11:35Speaker 2: you know, she's pleaded to have a life with her
- 11:38Speaker 2: boys and feels demoralized by this situation. You know, she
- 11:43Speaker 2: was pointing out, you know that these white lives in
- 11:45Speaker 2: the book are going straight to the bank, and I'm
- 11:47Speaker 2: the only one who's genuinely getting hurt here. So she
- 11:49Speaker 2: has a point, She does have a point. Yeah, I
- 11:51Speaker 2: don't like this. Yesterday I was kind of like interested
- 11:54Speaker 2: in all the tea that he was spilling, but I
- 11:56Speaker 2: mean it's hurtful and it's not necessary at this point.
- 11:58Speaker 5: And let's not forget that she paid him a lot
- 12:00Speaker 5: of money and now she's not. Yeah, now she's not.
- 12:03Speaker 5: And then here comes the book and then he started
- 12:05Speaker 5: getting into yesterday. I guess in the book it comes
- 12:07Speaker 5: out that Britney cheated on him with a woman. Yeah,
- 12:11Speaker 5: and it's all this stuff, and it's like, Okay, now
- 12:13Speaker 5: at this point, are you really if you're really worried
- 12:15Speaker 5: about our mental health? Are you gonna take it there?
- 12:18Speaker 7: Right?
- 12:18Speaker 2: And if this is your memoir, where's the part about
- 12:20Speaker 2: you exactly?
- 12:21Speaker 3: You know it's all about Britney?
- 12:23Speaker 2: Yeah, one hundred.
- 12:24Speaker 3: Nobody cares about him?
- 12:25Speaker 2: No, no, not at all. Anyways, I'm Kandaslopez. Those are
- 12:28Speaker 2: your Texas top stories done.
- 12:30Speaker 5: Let's do it right now. We have real or fake news.
- 12:32Speaker 5: I'm gonna give you three headlines. You gotta tell me
- 12:34Speaker 5: which one is the fake one. And sometimes it's hard
- 12:36Speaker 5: to tell. And the news is just so crazy that
- 12:38Speaker 5: we go through these stories and it's just fun to
- 12:40Speaker 5: talk about some weird things that are going on.
- 12:43Speaker 3: Are you ready, Candice?
- 12:44Speaker 6: Yep?
- 12:44Speaker 3: Are you ready? Pooh, yes, sir? All right.
- 12:46Speaker 5: First headline, California driver stopped for having a hand drawn
- 12:50Speaker 5: license plate. California driver stopped for having a hand drawn
- 12:56Speaker 5: license plate.
- 12:57Speaker 3: That is headline number one. Headline number two.
- 13:00Speaker 5: Italian man caught after faking blindness for fifty years to
- 13:04Speaker 5: get disability payments.
- 13:06Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, what's a hustle?
- 13:08Speaker 5: Italian man caught after faking blindness for fifty years to
- 13:13Speaker 5: get disability payments.
- 13:15Speaker 3: That is headline umber two. Headline umber three.
- 13:17Speaker 5: Shuston pediatrician busted for using chat GPT to diagnose patients. Oh,
- 13:24Speaker 5: Shuston pediatrician busted for using chat GPT to diagnose patients.
- 13:31Speaker 5: Three headlines right there. You gotta tell me which one
- 13:33Speaker 5: is the fake one? Uh?
- 13:35Speaker 3: This is tough today, right?
- 13:36Speaker 4: Oh?
- 13:37Speaker 2: Yeah, that is tough.
- 13:38Speaker 5: Okay, Candice, you want to go first? Would you like
- 13:39Speaker 5: to pass it to Pooh?
- 13:41Speaker 2: I'm gonna pass it to Pooh today.
- 13:42Speaker 3: Good, all right, Pooh?
- 13:43Speaker 9: What do you think I'm gonna go with that last
- 13:46Speaker 9: story using chat GPT. I don't think that's real chat
- 13:51Speaker 9: GPT to diagnose patience, which.
- 13:54Speaker 3: Absolutely could if you wanted to do anything.
- 13:56Speaker 2: A lot of people were using it for that, well,
- 13:58Speaker 2: hopefully not doctors.
- 14:00Speaker 1: Doctor.
- 14:01Speaker 3: Okay, lock you.
- 14:02Speaker 1: In, yeah, lock me in.
- 14:03Speaker 5: There you go, Candicelpez, which one do you think is
- 14:05Speaker 5: the fake story?
- 14:07Speaker 2: Man? These are so hard today.
- 14:09Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 14:09Speaker 2: I'm gonna go with that first story, the California person
- 14:12Speaker 2: with a hand drawn license plate?
- 14:13Speaker 3: Okay, you want me to lock that in?
- 14:14Speaker 8: I like that.
- 14:15Speaker 3: Who's gonna do that?
- 14:16Speaker 2: That's silly.
- 14:17Speaker 3: Who's gonna sit there.
- 14:18Speaker 5: Draw a license plate on the piece of paper and
- 14:19Speaker 5: be like this should do it all right. Well, the
- 14:22Speaker 5: winner today is producer Pooh. He is on a roll.
- 14:27Speaker 3: It's three days in a row.
- 14:29Speaker 5: Ye, this is the longest streak Poo has ever had
- 14:32Speaker 5: ever as a winner.
- 14:33Speaker 1: I need to soak it in.
- 14:34Speaker 3: Yeah, soak it in joy.
- 14:36Speaker 5: Okay, Yeah, So the fake story was the pediatrician Houston
- 14:40Speaker 5: pediatrician busted for using chat ept to diagnose patients. I
- 14:44Speaker 5: made that one up and I put Houston just because
- 14:46Speaker 5: I figured that's wherever it would happen. Okay, if it
- 14:48Speaker 5: would happen in Houston. You know, I don't know why
- 14:50Speaker 5: am I such a Houston hater?
- 14:52Speaker 2: You are?
- 14:52Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know why.
- 14:53Speaker 2: I mean, I don't like the Astros, but I don't
- 14:55Speaker 2: hate Houston.
- 14:56Speaker 5: No, I don't. I don't hate Houston. It's just like
- 14:58Speaker 5: the little brother be big brother.
- 15:00Speaker 2: I don't know in this is you know, Well, no,
- 15:02Speaker 2: we're bigger now.
- 15:03Speaker 5: Houston always hates on us, right, so I'm like, well,
- 15:06Speaker 5: we'll hate on you first, but if then any other
- 15:08Speaker 5: city hates on any Texas CD, I hate on them, right.
- 15:11Speaker 2: Yeah, don't hate on Houston. If you're from New York.
- 15:13Speaker 3: I don't want to hear about that. Totally all right.
- 15:15Speaker 5: California driver stopped for having a hand drawn license plate.
- 15:18Speaker 5: This did happen. The officer noticed something unusual about the
- 15:22Speaker 5: rear plate, and it's like, wait, what is going on there?
- 15:24Speaker 5: He took a closer look, and he said the fake
- 15:25Speaker 5: plate had hand drawn letters and numbers, along with the
- 15:28Speaker 5: state logo and a fake registration sticker that was drawn on.
- 15:33Speaker 5: The driver told the police they had lost the original plate.
- 15:36Speaker 5: While the CHP California High we Patrol gave the driver
- 15:39Speaker 5: points for creativity, they reminded people, yet, you can't just
- 15:42Speaker 5: sit there and draw your old plate because you lost.
- 15:45Speaker 2: It and drew my license too.
- 15:47Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, here, you don't believe me.
- 15:50Speaker 5: It's funny that he drew the numbers and everything and
- 15:52Speaker 5: then also the state logo.
- 15:54Speaker 2: Yeah, it's like a school project when you were a kid.
- 15:58Speaker 3: Yes, Oh gosh, okay.
- 15:59Speaker 5: The story an Italian Italian man caught faking blindness for
- 16:04Speaker 5: fifty years to get disability payments.
- 16:06Speaker 3: Wow, oh, this is insane.
- 16:08Speaker 5: That was apparently the thought process of this seventy year
- 16:10Speaker 5: old man in Italy, who was accused of pretending to
- 16:12Speaker 5: be completely blind for fifty three years while collecting over
- 16:17Speaker 5: one point one million dollars.
- 16:19Speaker 3: In disability payments.
- 16:21Speaker 5: Wow. The man was declared blind after a work accident
- 16:24Speaker 5: more than fifty years ago and has been receiving benefits
- 16:27Speaker 5: ever since. Police became suspicious after running checks on his
- 16:30Speaker 5: case and decided to follow up for two months.
- 16:34Speaker 3: They caught him on video.
- 16:37Speaker 5: They caught him on video doing gardening work with dangerous tools,
- 16:42Speaker 5: shopping at the market while carefully looking at products, and
- 16:45Speaker 5: moving around the city without any help. He also was
- 16:49Speaker 5: filmed paining with cash by himself. Police have now charged
- 16:52Speaker 5: him with fraud and stopped all of his benefits. They
- 16:54Speaker 5: also ordered him to pay back over two hundred thousand
- 16:57Speaker 5: dollars in taxes.
- 16:59Speaker 3: Wow, is that even worth it?
- 17:02Speaker 4: Right?
- 17:02Speaker 2: And if you're gonna do that, wouldn't you like pretend
- 17:05Speaker 2: fake that you couldn't hear instead like anything?
- 17:07Speaker 5: Like you know, there's conspiracy theories that Stevie Wonder is
- 17:11Speaker 5: not blind.
- 17:11Speaker 3: Oh oh yeah, there is there are that's wild. But
- 17:14Speaker 3: there's weird things that happen.
- 17:16Speaker 5: There's him on video like turning to talk to people
- 17:19Speaker 5: exactly where they're at and grabbing something out of their hands,
- 17:21Speaker 5: and it's like, Stevie, nothing, how'd you do that. Wow,
- 17:25Speaker 5: you think he's faking it?
- 17:27Speaker 2: No, I don't think so. I think it's he just
- 17:29Speaker 2: he has specialized hearing. You're like superhero, yes, supersensus.
- 17:34Speaker 5: Okay, well, either way, I know the Poo's got a
- 17:37Speaker 5: new hustle now that he's gonna fire.
- 17:39Speaker 3: You know, now that you.
- 17:40Speaker 5: Say out of it, now that you say that I
- 17:42Speaker 5: can't see out of my left eye.
- 17:45Speaker 2: Get it off your chest to promise you'll feel better.
- 17:48Speaker 2: Welcome to the Dirty Little Secret on.
- 17:50Speaker 3: The new mix one of two point nine.
- 17:51Speaker 5: Good morning, Billy the kid cand of Slow Pads and
- 17:53Speaker 5: Producer Poo And that didn't take long. Poo already Heat
- 17:55Speaker 5: it up that cinnamon raisin bread and good but I
- 17:58Speaker 5: brought from Oh it smells so good. Did you put
- 18:00Speaker 5: anything on it? No, you don't have butter anything.
- 18:04Speaker 3: We have nothing up here.
- 18:05Speaker 2: Butter would go so hard. I will have almond butter,
- 18:07Speaker 2: but I eat out of it with the spoon, so
- 18:09Speaker 2: it's not really shareable.
- 18:11Speaker 3: We don't care. Yeah, I don't care.
- 18:13Speaker 1: Boy tastes good.
- 18:14Speaker 3: You have almond butter here?
- 18:16Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 18:16Speaker 3: Random, of course he has almond butter.
- 18:18Speaker 1: You does?
- 18:19Speaker 2: I always have it with my banana in the morning.
- 18:21Speaker 5: Is that a dirty little secret. Sure if you have
- 18:25Speaker 5: one eight three three seven eight seven one o two nine.
- 18:27Speaker 5: No matter what that secret is, it's a non judgment zone.
- 18:30Speaker 5: Tell us what's going on in your life. Or you
- 18:32Speaker 5: can hit me up at Billy on the radio on
- 18:34Speaker 5: Instagram and we can set it up that way.
- 18:36Speaker 3: You shoot me a DM. So you have one? So
- 18:38Speaker 3: what's up?
- 18:39Speaker 8: Well, straight up, I'm an alcoholic. You know, I can
- 18:45Speaker 8: say that. I'm not proud of it. It's just who
- 18:48Speaker 8: I am and something I struggle with, you know.
- 18:50Speaker 5: Yeah, Okay, I mean that's good that you. I mean,
- 18:53Speaker 5: it's good that you. Yeah, you admit it and your
- 18:55Speaker 5: your your dealer. I think that's the first step. I
- 18:57Speaker 5: don't know, at least that's what I've heard, you know.
- 18:59Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, Well, I mean, and honestly, that's that's the
- 19:02Speaker 8: only really part of the secret, Like the real secret
- 19:05Speaker 8: is honestly, I drink because of my wife, you know. Yeah,
- 19:10Speaker 8: I mean, I know that sounds like a cop out,
- 19:12Speaker 8: like I'm blaming her, like I'm putting it on her,
- 19:15Speaker 8: But I have legitimately stopped drinking for years. I get
- 19:19Speaker 8: married for five years now and start drinking again.
- 19:21Speaker 5: Okay, hold on, Yeah, so you're saying, how many questions
- 19:26Speaker 5: You started drinking again because of your.
- 19:28Speaker 2: Wife because she drinks her.
- 19:30Speaker 8: No, she doesn't drink at all. But I just can't
- 19:33Speaker 8: deal with her, her anxiety, her struggles, how negative she is.
- 19:37Speaker 8: It's just with her, it's one thing after another all
- 19:40Speaker 8: the time.
- 19:41Speaker 5: Okay, I'm not a therapist, I'm not a professional, but
- 19:46Speaker 5: I don't know if this is to blame her for
- 19:50Speaker 5: something you're dealing with and that you struggle with, that
- 19:53Speaker 5: you obviously struggle with before her doesn't seem fair initially,
- 19:58Speaker 5: but it's the anxiety, the stress of a relationship makes
- 20:01Speaker 5: you want to drink. I don't know if it's necessarily her.
- 20:04Speaker 2: Right, unless she's having the same struggle with you.
- 20:07Speaker 8: Well, I mean crazy enough. About a year and a
- 20:10Speaker 8: half into our marriage, we separated, right and I lived
- 20:14Speaker 8: with my brother for a few months, and I stopped drinking.
- 20:18Speaker 8: I moved back into the house, tried to work on
- 20:21Speaker 8: things with the wife, and in a matter of a
- 20:23Speaker 8: month I was drinking again.
- 20:26Speaker 3: Wow, okay, I mean God, the first thing I think
- 20:29Speaker 3: of is like, then get away, right.
- 20:32Speaker 5: I hate to say that, but yeah, you obviously have
- 20:34Speaker 5: a problem that you know is a problem. You're around
- 20:37Speaker 5: her and you drink, and I'm not even blaming her.
- 20:39Speaker 5: It seems like you're blaming her.
- 20:40Speaker 2: But rightship off.
- 20:43Speaker 5: Yeah, the energy's off, and something's not right here. I mean,
- 20:45Speaker 5: obviously if you separated and you went back and then
- 20:48Speaker 5: started drinking again. So when you're not around your wife
- 20:51Speaker 5: or not in that relationship, you feel like you don't
- 20:53Speaker 5: need to drink.
- 20:54Speaker 8: Yeah, that's that's what I'm saying. But you know, I
- 20:57Speaker 8: feel awful saying that because I love my life, I
- 21:01Speaker 8: really do. But what do you do when your wife
- 21:03Speaker 8: is your trigger? You know, you say, maybe get away
- 21:05Speaker 8: from the relationship, but like, I don't want to leave her.
- 21:08Speaker 3: Have you talked to her about it?
- 21:10Speaker 8: I have. I've tried to explain to her how her
- 21:14Speaker 8: attitude affects me. But you know, I've never come out
- 21:17Speaker 8: and directly said, you know, oh, you make me drink.
- 21:20Speaker 8: You know, I don't know what to do.
- 21:22Speaker 2: I definitely don't say that.
- 21:24Speaker 8: Yeah, well, like I said, and she doesn't drink at all,
- 21:26Speaker 8: but it's just food in her negativity. It's just as bad,
- 21:31Speaker 8: you know. And and also you know, I encourage her
- 21:33Speaker 8: to to kind of get help for the things she
- 21:35Speaker 8: struggled with But you won't go see anyone or even
- 21:38Speaker 8: try to get any help.
- 21:39Speaker 3: She won't.
- 21:40Speaker 2: Okay, you thought about getting help for you on how
- 21:43Speaker 2: you handle her or your home life.
- 21:46Speaker 8: Well, I mean I've I've thought out help for my
- 21:49Speaker 8: drinking time to time. To be honest, I'm what you
- 21:52Speaker 8: would call a functioning alcoholic. You know, I have a
- 21:55Speaker 8: job of work, I do everything that I need to do.
- 21:58Speaker 5: Is there a way maybe you too can go together?
- 22:00Speaker 5: But she's not interested and I don't want to. I'm
- 22:02Speaker 5: not condoning blaming your wife or anything. But when you
- 22:05Speaker 5: say that, you know she's negative and it's constant.
- 22:08Speaker 3: It triggers you.
- 22:09Speaker 5: I do know people like that where Yeah, you know,
- 22:12Speaker 5: when you're around someone so negative all the time, it
- 22:15Speaker 5: does start to affect your mood.
- 22:17Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 22:17Speaker 5: And but it's sad though, because at the same time,
- 22:19Speaker 5: usually there's a reason and a source why that person
- 22:23Speaker 5: is negative. They're dealing with something that maybe they can't
- 22:26Speaker 5: come to terms with, or they don't even know why
- 22:28Speaker 5: they're negative, but it's something usually on there in mental
- 22:30Speaker 5: health wise that they need help with.
- 22:33Speaker 8: Yeah, I honestly.
- 22:35Speaker 3: Don't know what to do.
- 22:36Speaker 2: Yeah, And anxiety's tricky too, because sometimes you don't know what's.
- 22:40Speaker 5: Causing it, Like are you drinking right now? Like it's
- 22:42Speaker 5: this time of the day, are you drinking now?
- 22:45Speaker 7: You know?
- 22:45Speaker 8: I do start with a little bit of an eye opener.
- 22:49Speaker 2: Yeah, wow, Yeah, it sounds like you're just surviving in
- 22:53Speaker 2: your own house. Yeah, that's not good, no way to live.
- 22:56Speaker 5: You too need to see someone and get some help together.
- 22:59Speaker 5: And I'm not saying it's all your fault or it's
- 23:02Speaker 5: all her fault, but if you want to make this work,
- 23:05Speaker 5: someone's gonna have to step in and there's gonna have
- 23:06Speaker 5: to be some professional help on a on a different level.
- 23:09Speaker 5: And I hope it works out for you too, But
- 23:12Speaker 5: maybe try to talk to her about that, Hey, will
- 23:14Speaker 5: you go see somebody with me? Instead of saying you
- 23:17Speaker 5: need to go get help? Can we go get help?
- 23:20Speaker 8: You know, that's actually, you know, not the worst idea.
- 23:24Speaker 8: I think I'd probably say something like, you know, I
- 23:28Speaker 8: want to get help and I need her support to
- 23:30Speaker 8: be there, and then maybe inherently we go together. Yeah,
- 23:34Speaker 8: you know, I can see that working.
- 23:35Speaker 5: Because that'll empower that will empower her to feel like
- 23:38Speaker 5: she's not only helping you, but she's helping herself.
- 23:41Speaker 2: And I also don't know how she sees her situation.
- 23:45Speaker 5: Yeah, like it's you never know on the other side
- 23:46Speaker 5: of this, how she's viewing this, And maybe she's coping
- 23:50Speaker 5: with things that you don't even know she's dealing with.
- 23:52Speaker 3: So either way, good luck.
- 23:53Speaker 5: I'm sending you to my best I think you need it,
- 23:56Speaker 5: and you know, obviously I could tell you a million
- 23:58Speaker 5: times not to drink, and but I think that obviously
- 24:02Speaker 5: you know you have an issue, and I hope you
- 24:03Speaker 5: get help for it and it works out for you.
- 24:05Speaker 3: Okay, Yeah, thank you.
- 24:06Speaker 8: Yeah, you're right, because I can't keep living like this
- 24:08Speaker 8: no more.
- 24:10Speaker 3: Well, good luck, thank you.
- 24:12Speaker 1: Yes.
- 24:13Speaker 3: What do you do when someone is your trigger? Yeah?
- 24:16Speaker 5: Everybody can be triggered by something. What do you do
- 24:18Speaker 5: when that the person you love is also your trigger?
- 24:21Speaker 3: It makes you?
- 24:22Speaker 6: What?
- 24:22Speaker 5: Yeah?
- 24:23Speaker 1: Nicest tough stories on the Tents with Billy the Kid
- 24:26Speaker 1: in the.
- 24:26Speaker 2: Morning only on the New Mixed one or two point nine.
- 24:30Speaker 5: Joining early on Thursday morning, Cannis Lowpas has everything you
- 24:32Speaker 5: need to know.
- 24:33Speaker 3: Cannas what up?
- 24:33Speaker 2: Well, it looks like Smuckers has beef with Trader Joe's guys.
- 24:37Speaker 2: They just filed a lawsuit against TJ's for allegedly copying
- 24:41Speaker 2: one of their most successful products, the Uncrustables. So the
- 24:46Speaker 2: Smuckers lawsuit accuses them of intentionally confusing customers and risking
- 24:50Speaker 2: its brand value by knocking off the look and packaging
- 24:53Speaker 2: of Uncrustables. I guess Smuckers has a trademark for this
- 24:57Speaker 2: round pigh like shape with distinct crimping uh, and for
- 25:01Speaker 2: its boxes. You know they show the sandwich with a
- 25:03Speaker 2: little bite taken out of it, So that's like their thing. Well,
- 25:06Speaker 2: smucker spent a billion dollars to develop and market Uncrustables
- 25:10Speaker 2: over the past twenty years, So they want Trader Joe's
- 25:12Speaker 2: to destroy it's frozen crustless peeb and jay bread pockets
- 25:17Speaker 2: and pay them the money they made from them since
- 25:20Speaker 2: they launched this summer.
- 25:22Speaker 5: Like, destroy all the uncrustable, the bootleg and crustables that
- 25:25Speaker 5: Trader get.
- 25:26Speaker 3: Oh, give them the homeless people.
- 25:27Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean you definitely aren't just going to destroy them.
- 25:30Speaker 5: No, don't waste food. I hate when I see like
- 25:33Speaker 5: that kind of stuff, but I mean it does make sense.
- 25:35Speaker 3: I didn't even know you.
- 25:35Speaker 5: Could pat in that kind of stuff because you see
- 25:37Speaker 5: it either Walmart, you know do knockoff stuff.
- 25:40Speaker 2: Yeah, they've gone after some of the competitors before. You know,
- 25:44Speaker 2: Walmart has a version Target Aldi. They all have a
- 25:47Speaker 2: version of this uncrustable sandwich, but like you can actually buy,
- 25:50Speaker 2: like the Little Press, I have one where you like
- 25:52Speaker 2: make your own at home. So it looks like, oh
- 25:55Speaker 2: my gosh, so.
- 25:59Speaker 3: Good, the strawberry ones with the tall glass and mill.
- 26:03Speaker 2: Yeah, Trader Jones hasn't commented yet, but I'll keep you posted.
- 26:07Speaker 2: Universal Kids Resort and Frisco released a first look at
- 26:10Speaker 2: what the theme park will look like and what characters
- 26:13Speaker 2: will be showcased into their seven themed areas. So they
- 26:16Speaker 2: put out a rendering now and they have descriptions of
- 26:19Speaker 2: the rides and activities that will be in that park.
- 26:22Speaker 2: Some of the themes are based on Shrek, Shrek Swamp,
- 26:25Speaker 2: Jurassic World where you can meet a baby dinosaur. There's
- 26:28Speaker 2: also Trolls Fest and SpongeBob. Then they have a Minions
- 26:32Speaker 2: Versus Minions, Bellow Bay Club, which is a water park
- 26:36Speaker 2: type area. Of course, there's a three hundred room resort
- 26:39Speaker 2: that's going to be right at the entrance of the park,
- 26:42Speaker 2: and even sensory gardens for families that need a break
- 26:44Speaker 2: from games and sounds. Yeah, but Universal Kids Resorts set
- 26:48Speaker 2: to open in May of next year. But that's gonna
- 26:50Speaker 2: be really exciting for those of us who have little ones.
- 26:53Speaker 3: I saw the picture. It look so cool.
- 26:54Speaker 5: It looks it's gonna be big, and I drove by
- 26:56Speaker 5: it the other day and you can start to see
- 26:58Speaker 5: the rides coming up.
- 26:59Speaker 3: Really Oh yeah, you can see. It's like, is this
- 27:01Speaker 3: really happening. We're getting a Universal Studios.
- 27:04Speaker 2: That's so cool.
- 27:04Speaker 1: It is cool.
- 27:05Speaker 3: That's why all this stuff is happening around it.
- 27:07Speaker 5: You know, all these other hotels are going to start
- 27:09Speaker 5: popping up, and oh, the tollway is going to be
- 27:11Speaker 5: in a nightmare up there, a nightmare.
- 27:13Speaker 2: For sure, for sure.
- 27:14Speaker 7: Well.
- 27:14Speaker 2: Netflix just announced their hit animated musical K pop Demon
- 27:18Speaker 2: Hunters is returning to theaters for a special sing along event.
- 27:21Speaker 2: So this is going to be for a limited time only.
- 27:24Speaker 2: It'll run October thirty first through November two. It'll play
- 27:27Speaker 2: at all amc Regal and Cinema theaters. So basically, this
- 27:31Speaker 2: is like a K pop group and they are protecting
- 27:34Speaker 2: their fans from a rival boy band that is actually
- 27:37Speaker 2: Demons in disguise. But this movie has been I mean,
- 27:40Speaker 2: people love this thing. It's been such a hit. Tickets
- 27:43Speaker 2: for the movie event go on sale tomorrow. This is
- 27:46Speaker 2: actually its second run in theaters in August, so it
- 27:49Speaker 2: became Netflix's first ever number one box office title. But
- 27:53Speaker 2: they're inviting people to dress up and sing, and that's
- 27:56Speaker 2: if you can actually find a costume, because these are
- 27:58Speaker 2: supposed to be, you know, some of the most popular
- 28:00Speaker 2: costumes this Halloween.
- 28:01Speaker 5: Am I officially old because I don't even get it.
- 28:03Speaker 5: So it's like a animated group.
- 28:05Speaker 2: Yeah, it's an animated K pop group and these characters
- 28:09Speaker 2: are blowing up the music. So the soundtrack is like
- 28:11Speaker 2: one of the songs is charted at number one. The
- 28:13Speaker 2: soundtrack has been huge.
- 28:14Speaker 3: Yeah, I heard some of the songs. I mean, it's good.
- 28:16Speaker 2: You're super catchy, it is, but.
- 28:18Speaker 3: It's just the K pop phenomenon is something else.
- 28:21Speaker 2: Kids are loving this this movie. But yeah, that Halloween costume,
- 28:25Speaker 2: good luck finding that for sure. Yeah, I'm Ganda Slopez.
- 28:28Speaker 2: Those are your Texas Top stories.
- 28:30Speaker 3: It's going for Candace Court. It gets settled here with
- 28:34Speaker 3: Billy the Kid in the morning.
- 28:36Speaker 5: Ordering the court order. In the court we got money
- 28:38Speaker 5: coming up. By the way, if you want a thousand
- 28:39Speaker 5: dollars pay your bills, got cash that's starts at about
- 28:42Speaker 5: an hour from now. First shot to win one grand
- 28:44Speaker 5: and then we do it all day long to new
- 28:45Speaker 5: Mix one or two point nine. The Honorable Judge Candace
- 28:48Speaker 5: Lopez is here with the case today, and if you've
- 28:50Speaker 5: got a problem, just reach out to Candace and she
- 28:53Speaker 5: will absolutely help you. She is very reasonable, she is
- 28:56Speaker 5: a good moral character, and she knows what she's doing.
- 28:59Speaker 5: That's why this court was hostibly taken over by her.
- 29:02Speaker 5: It used to be Billy's court, and then I made
- 29:05Speaker 5: one bad decision and she yanked it really so yeah,
- 29:09Speaker 5: real quick, all right, either way, here it is today,
- 29:11Speaker 5: Dear Judge Candice.
- 29:12Speaker 3: I'm starting to get somewhat annoyed.
- 29:15Speaker 5: My wife's been going out for quote unquote girls' nights
- 29:19Speaker 5: at least three times a month lately, and it's wearing
- 29:23Speaker 5: me down. This guy's big mad, he said when we
- 29:26Speaker 5: first got together, she wasn't this social.
- 29:28Speaker 3: She was more of a homebody.
- 29:29Speaker 5: But ever since she lost weight, it's like she discovered
- 29:32Speaker 5: a whole new version of herself. She says she needs
- 29:34Speaker 5: to feel like more than just a mom, which stings
- 29:38Speaker 5: a little when I'm the one staying home with our kids,
- 29:41Speaker 5: who are eleven and thirteen. When they ask where she is,
- 29:43Speaker 5: I just say, she's out again. Oh I don't think
- 29:48Speaker 5: she's cheating, but this is excessive.
- 29:49Speaker 4: Oh.
- 29:50Speaker 5: I didn't even think that until he just wrote that. Really, No,
- 29:53Speaker 5: I didn't. That didn't pop.
- 29:54Speaker 1: Mind immediate thought.
- 29:56Speaker 2: Yeah, I thought she was sure.
- 29:58Speaker 3: I thought I was insecure.
- 30:00Speaker 5: I get wanting to feel confident and having fun, but
- 30:02Speaker 5: it feels like she's choosing that life over the one
- 30:05Speaker 5: we built together. Oh wow, I missed the version of
- 30:08Speaker 5: her that wanted to be home with us at the
- 30:12Speaker 5: end of the day. I just want my wife bound.
- 30:15Speaker 5: Hold on, let me let me reread this real quick.
- 30:21Speaker 5: How many times she she's gone up? Three times a month?
- 30:24Speaker 2: Yeah that's a lot.
- 30:26Speaker 3: Dude, is acting like she's gone every night.
- 30:28Speaker 2: I mean three times a month.
- 30:30Speaker 3: Oh you think that's excessive?
- 30:32Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 30:33Speaker 3: What I do.
- 30:34Speaker 5: Oh I'm surprised. I thought for sure, you're gonna be like,
- 30:36Speaker 5: big deal, three times a month?
- 30:39Speaker 2: Wow, who has time to go out three times a month?
- 30:41Speaker 1: It's only four weeks, three weekends.
- 30:44Speaker 2: I mean I'm picturing like, yeah, three of the four weekends.
- 30:47Speaker 3: That was my thought.
- 30:48Speaker 2: I mean, maybe one's on Monday, maybe one.
- 30:50Speaker 3: I don't know, But well, what do you think?
- 30:52Speaker 5: Maybe I'm wrong on this one. Maybe I thought you
- 30:54Speaker 5: were going to stick up for her immediately, but I
- 30:56Speaker 5: guess not. So your initial thoughts on this is that, yeah,
- 30:59Speaker 5: three times is a lot.
- 31:00Speaker 2: I feel like that is excessive. Like I mean, if
- 31:03Speaker 2: you put it into like weekends, it's like, like, well,
- 31:06Speaker 2: for me specifically, like say I went out on Friday
- 31:09Speaker 2: or Saturday, those would really be my only two options
- 31:11Speaker 2: because of work, and that's different for everybody. But I
- 31:14Speaker 2: can't imagine being away from my family like one night
- 31:18Speaker 2: on the weekend for three weeks.
- 31:20Speaker 3: Well you couldn't.
- 31:21Speaker 2: You need to go on sometimes I do, but like
- 31:24Speaker 2: not three times a month.
- 31:25Speaker 5: Well, I mean no, but you're assuming this is on
- 31:28Speaker 5: the weekends. To me, this could be happy hour after work.
- 31:31Speaker 5: So when I picture this, I'm like, well, happy hour
- 31:33Speaker 5: after work and then one night she's got a bachelorette
- 31:35Speaker 5: party with some girlfriends, and then the other you know,
- 31:38Speaker 5: two weeks from then she goes and has a birthday
- 31:40Speaker 5: party with their friends.
- 31:41Speaker 3: I don't feel that that's crazy, But.
- 31:43Speaker 2: Like every month Yeah, that's that's a lot though, that
- 31:46Speaker 2: seems yeah, I mean I'm just wondering, like, well, he
- 31:49Speaker 2: said what she lost weight though, and this has sort
- 31:51Speaker 2: of happened after that.
- 31:52Speaker 3: Yeah, that's a weird. I mean, hey, you know what,
- 31:55Speaker 3: good for her? Yeah, good for her.
- 31:57Speaker 5: If somebody loses weight, of course, it's going to change
- 32:00Speaker 5: your confidence a little bit.
- 32:02Speaker 3: Maybe you do want to step out more.
- 32:03Speaker 5: Maybe you should be like, hey, instead of one of
- 32:05Speaker 5: those girls nights, lets you and I go out.
- 32:07Speaker 2: Well, yeah, that's what I'm wondering, like how many of
- 32:09Speaker 2: the how many nights per month are they doing family
- 32:12Speaker 2: stuff together? How many are they doing a date night
- 32:14Speaker 2: with each other? Like I feel like if it outweighs that,
- 32:18Speaker 2: then it's too excessive.
- 32:19Speaker 5: Well, if he's not initiating it and she is going
- 32:22Speaker 5: on with the girls, and I think he has one
- 32:24Speaker 5: person to blame and that's himself.
- 32:25Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean he definitely should initiate.
- 32:27Speaker 6: He's going out outside the house to look for gratification
- 32:30Speaker 6: on you know, losing that weight.
- 32:32Speaker 5: That's a big jump, that's a big conclusion to jump too.
- 32:35Speaker 5: You don't think, no, I don't think. I don't assume that.
- 32:38Speaker 5: I mean, I know we assume things in these cases.
- 32:40Speaker 5: But I don't think that's it.
- 32:41Speaker 6: I think she's gonna, come on, he said, ever since
- 32:43Speaker 6: she lost weight, she's you know, getting a big head.
- 32:45Speaker 1: Probably you know, she's.
- 32:46Speaker 2: Probably like he did, then, just a mom. Is that
- 32:51Speaker 2: what she wants to feel?
- 32:52Speaker 7: Like?
- 32:52Speaker 2: Like, I think all of us moms can relate to
- 32:54Speaker 2: that at some point we're so buried.
- 32:56Speaker 3: Yeah, I can't. Well, that's what I'm saying.
- 32:58Speaker 5: I can't speak for the moms, but if you haven't
- 32:59Speaker 5: a level in thirteen year old, I'm not saying they're
- 33:01Speaker 5: grown by any means, but they're also at that age
- 33:03Speaker 5: where you know, it's not like you're leaving a toddler a.
- 33:06Speaker 3: Baby at home.
- 33:07Speaker 2: No, that's a good point.
- 33:08Speaker 5: So I think maybe she's been for ten eleven years,
- 33:11Speaker 5: she's been you know, with the kids all the time,
- 33:14Speaker 5: and if she wants to step out a few times,
- 33:15Speaker 5: and she's feeling a little more confident about herself and
- 33:18Speaker 5: maybe you know, like a new version of herself. I
- 33:21Speaker 5: don't automatically assume she's cheating, which I'm insecure, So typically
- 33:24Speaker 5: this is what I would think. I would think normally, Yeah, yeah,
- 33:26Speaker 5: she's doing some shady but for whatever reason. I don't
- 33:28Speaker 5: think so in this case, but you think she might be.
- 33:31Speaker 2: I mean there's always a chance, but I feel like
- 33:33Speaker 2: this is excessive more than it is. You know that
- 33:36Speaker 2: she's cheating, but it feels like for him, maybe she's
- 33:39Speaker 2: emotionally just not there.
- 33:41Speaker 5: Let me ask you this, if the tables were turned
- 33:43Speaker 5: on this one and a guy went out for three
- 33:47Speaker 5: guys nights a month, right, one of them is fantasy football,
- 33:51Speaker 5: he gets together, he does a draft with his boys,
- 33:53Speaker 5: the other one's a birthday party, and the other one's
- 33:55Speaker 5: a happy hour.
- 33:57Speaker 3: Is he a bad dad? Is he being excessive?
- 33:59Speaker 2: I mean I think it's excessive. Yeah, But I'm just
- 34:03Speaker 2: like in my own world right now, we just have
- 34:05Speaker 2: so much going on with family stuff. It's like, where
- 34:07Speaker 2: would I find time to even do that three times?
- 34:10Speaker 2: But also I don't have the normal schedule, so nights
- 34:12Speaker 2: are pretty much out for me.
- 34:14Speaker 6: If he lost all his weight, she's probably gonna be like, oh,
- 34:16Speaker 6: he's he's going out there fishing.
- 34:19Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 34:20Speaker 2: I mean, maybe somebody has like a routine where it's
- 34:23Speaker 2: like our thing every Tuesday night, we do this with
- 34:25Speaker 2: the boys, or we do this thing, and maybe that
- 34:27Speaker 2: makes more sense. For some people, and I just don't
- 34:30Speaker 2: relate to that.
- 34:30Speaker 5: How many girls' nights is excessive? Ladies, why don't you
- 34:33Speaker 5: let me know before I hear the verdict? Eight three
- 34:34Speaker 5: three seven eight seven one h two nine. I'm just curious,
- 34:37Speaker 5: what do you think? Do you think three nights a
- 34:38Speaker 5: month is excessive? Do you think he has a point
- 34:40Speaker 5: where he's like stay home? Obviously Pooh does, but Poo's
- 34:44Speaker 5: also controlling when he's in relationship.
- 34:48Speaker 2: But I also I want to know how many times
- 34:49Speaker 2: a month he's going out? Yeah, yeah, you know, and
- 34:52Speaker 2: if he wants to go out.
- 34:53Speaker 3: That's his fault. If he doesn't. If he doesn't go out,
- 34:55Speaker 3: that's his fault.
- 34:56Speaker 5: So I mean, if you want to go out and
- 34:58Speaker 5: go out, but if he doesn't want to, then don't
- 34:59Speaker 5: four city. I mean, you know that's my point. But
- 35:02Speaker 5: it doesn't matter what I think because you are the judge.
- 35:04Speaker 5: Judge Candice Lopez with the verdict.
- 35:06Speaker 2: Now, yeah, I think she's guilty of being disappearing, Danielle.
- 35:12Speaker 2: I don't know how you dip on your family three
- 35:14Speaker 2: times a month. I can't imagine wanting to leave my
- 35:16Speaker 2: family that much. But maybe maybe I'm just in my
- 35:19Speaker 2: own world and people.
- 35:21Speaker 5: You act like she's a missing mom, like she disappeared
- 35:24Speaker 5: on her whole family. She's gone for three nights.
- 35:26Speaker 2: Once his wife back, he says, oh my, this guy
- 35:30Speaker 2: is soft.
- 35:32Speaker 3: Wouldn't you be happy for your wife? She's not having
- 35:35Speaker 3: a good time? Good cool? All right, great, you lost
- 35:37Speaker 3: some weight whatever.
- 35:38Speaker 2: And then he doesn't feel like that.
- 35:39Speaker 3: This is coming from the guy who usually is like insecure.
- 35:42Speaker 3: Why can't you why can't you be like, hey, I'm
- 35:44Speaker 3: glad she's happy have a.
- 35:46Speaker 2: Good time because he's not happy because she's not around.
- 35:48Speaker 3: Okay, yeah, yep, I just want my wife back to
- 35:53Speaker 3: the other girl. Okay, okay, what's she guilty of again?
- 35:58Speaker 2: She's disappearing Danielle eight three three seven eight seven one
- 36:03Speaker 2: o two nine.
- 36:03Speaker 3: Okay, ah good, here comes the calls. Let me know
- 36:06Speaker 3: I'm doing this.
- 36:06Speaker 5: We do aid yourself with blank, aige yourself with blank.
- 36:09Speaker 5: We just do it like once a week, and today
- 36:11Speaker 5: it's aige yourself with an old school trend. Maybe it's
- 36:14Speaker 5: from the nineties, maybe it's from the eighties, who knows,
- 36:16Speaker 5: maybe it's from the early two thousands. I feel like,
- 36:18Speaker 5: you know what, We're lucky enough to have listeners from
- 36:19Speaker 5: all ages.
- 36:20Speaker 3: Yeah, it's so cool.
- 36:21Speaker 5: I'll meet somebody who listens who's like, you know, eighteen,
- 36:24Speaker 5: and I'll meet somebody who listens who's like sixty.
- 36:26Speaker 3: Yeah, and I'm like, this is what I wanted. This
- 36:29Speaker 3: is the best.
- 36:30Speaker 5: It's something for everyone. So call us up eight three
- 36:32Speaker 5: three seven eight seven one oh two nine. In the meantime,
- 36:35Speaker 5: let's go around the room and figure out your old
- 36:37Speaker 5: school trend. Aid yourself with that old school trend. Candice ladies, first.
- 36:42Speaker 2: Jellies and sunflowers. Oh, jelly's just made every when they
- 36:47Speaker 2: were glittery and the sun hit them, it was like
- 36:50Speaker 2: they were so cute.
- 36:52Speaker 3: The jellies were those little plastic looking sandals.
- 36:54Speaker 2: Yeah, the plastic sandals. They came in different colors. You
- 36:56Speaker 2: could even get them at the dollar store.
- 36:58Speaker 3: You could. Yeah, every girl I knew were those things.
- 37:02Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 37:03Speaker 3: Now there were there sunflowers on them or were sunflowers
- 37:05Speaker 3: just on everything, But like.
- 37:06Speaker 2: I always pair them up with like something sunflowers. Like
- 37:08Speaker 2: remember I told you guys, I modeled in the limited
- 37:10Speaker 2: to window at back in the day stop.
- 37:14Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, you were modeling in the window at
- 37:20Speaker 3: Town East.
- 37:21Speaker 2: So they had like live mannequins for a while. No,
- 37:23Speaker 2: it was cute this music.
- 37:27Speaker 3: Okay, fine, turn it off yea.
- 37:28Speaker 2: So we put on like they did, like a T
- 37:30Speaker 2: shirt with the sunflower on it, and then the sunflower shorts,
- 37:32Speaker 2: and we put on our jellies and got in the
- 37:34Speaker 2: window just sit there. Yeah, we would just stand there
- 37:37Speaker 2: like mannequins.
- 37:38Speaker 3: Well would you get out of it?
- 37:39Speaker 2: Well, they would give us free clothes.
- 37:40Speaker 3: Oh well, yes, that's cool.
- 37:42Speaker 2: It was awesome.
- 37:43Speaker 5: Okay, that Jelly's is a good one. Age yourself with
- 37:46Speaker 5: an old school trend producer.
- 37:48Speaker 1: Pooh Bo jeans and combat boots. I used to think
- 37:51Speaker 1: I was Jodasy.
- 37:56Speaker 3: Jeans.
- 37:57Speaker 2: Those were so cute.
- 37:58Speaker 3: I used to think those were the coolest, and they
- 38:00Speaker 3: were so expensive. When I was a kid, they were.
- 38:03Speaker 2: There were like two c boys in sixth grade that
- 38:05Speaker 2: always wore them.
- 38:06Speaker 3: I remember.
- 38:06Speaker 2: Yeah, that's like a core memory for me.
- 38:08Speaker 3: It's kids wearing jo Yeah an IOU sweater.
- 38:12Speaker 1: Oh you used to have.
- 38:13Speaker 5: I don't know if that was cool. Maybe it wasn't cool.
- 38:15Speaker 5: Maybe I was just wearing it. Z cavalicies. Oh, I
- 38:19Speaker 5: thought it was so cool. And then you used to
- 38:21Speaker 5: pin your Z cavaliccis. Yes, at the bottom or maybe
- 38:25Speaker 5: am I that old No? No, you used to do that,
- 38:27Speaker 5: right right, I remember that, but you didn't roll them up.
- 38:30Speaker 2: The girls did that.
- 38:31Speaker 1: Girls didn't really do it, but guys and you had to.
- 38:33Speaker 5: Okay, I'm getting some good ones on Instagram, at Billy
- 38:36Speaker 5: on the Radio, At Billy on the Radio, Oh Shana
- 38:38Speaker 5: and Grand Prairie. My favorite trend was downloading music off
- 38:42Speaker 5: LimeWire to iTunes, running to Walmart while it downloads, buying
- 38:47Speaker 5: blank CDs, and then burning them once it's downloaded.
- 38:51Speaker 3: God, the process today.
- 38:54Speaker 2: I got a CD burner, I mean, my life change right.
- 38:57Speaker 5: Yeah, you'd make those and you'd have that big fat
- 38:59Speaker 5: seed e book. Yep, that seed book that would be
- 39:02Speaker 5: like a hundred CDs deep and you would be just
- 39:06Speaker 5: rolling down Bell Line looking through it.
- 39:08Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 39:10Speaker 2: So good.
- 39:10Speaker 3: Can we talk about distracted drivers now?
- 39:12Speaker 1: Yeah, forget texted and driving?
- 39:14Speaker 5: Yeah, managing that big sixteen with eighteen mixed CDs or
- 39:19Speaker 5: just sharpies.
- 39:20Speaker 2: On them and just have to slip them out of
- 39:21Speaker 2: the plastic sleep.
- 39:22Speaker 3: Yeah one hand yeah, Summer oh four Yeah, party.
- 39:27Speaker 2: Mix, party mix. I had the Pool playlist mix.
- 39:31Speaker 3: Yeah, Pool play Girls mix.
- 39:34Speaker 5: Oh that's funny, good one Shanna, that's age yourself with
- 39:37Speaker 5: an old school trend. Jose and forty. My favorite one
- 39:41Speaker 5: where ringtones were cool. You would buy your own ring tone.
- 39:44Speaker 2: Oh yeah, definitely did that.
- 39:47Speaker 5: God, I remember that, but I don't know if I
- 39:48Speaker 5: really what my first I wish I remember what my
- 39:50Speaker 5: first ring tone was.
- 39:51Speaker 2: Right, Well, we all had the Nokia ring zone for
- 39:54Speaker 2: a while because that's all there was.
- 39:55Speaker 3: Yeah. Then you had songs that you could choose though, yeah,
- 39:58Speaker 3: at one point, but I never really did that.
- 40:00Speaker 5: But then you remember when you'd have a ring back,
- 40:03Speaker 5: Oh yeah, where someone would call you and they'd hear
- 40:06Speaker 5: a song instead of it ringing.
- 40:07Speaker 3: Yeah. Do they still do that?
- 40:09Speaker 4: No?
- 40:10Speaker 3: Yeah, they are missing out. That was awesome.
- 40:12Speaker 5: Okay, what about, Oh, Maria into Soto, She said, the
- 40:16Speaker 5: see through or clear phones. I used to think I
- 40:19Speaker 5: was so cool when I got one in my room.
- 40:22Speaker 2: Oh I had that too. It would light up when
- 40:24Speaker 2: it rang and you could see all the wires and
- 40:26Speaker 2: stuff in there.
- 40:27Speaker 3: I do remember those. Yeah, that was a good one.
- 40:30Speaker 2: I never had that though, Kennis, you got one, I do, yeah,
- 40:34Speaker 2: Adrian said, the scrunchy socks and layering different colors. We
- 40:38Speaker 2: did that where you'd wear two socks, and one would
- 40:40Speaker 2: have like pink on the top and yellow on the bottom,
- 40:42Speaker 2: and then the other one would be yellow on the
- 40:44Speaker 2: top and pink on the bottom.
- 40:45Speaker 3: God, I know your feet were hot.
- 40:46Speaker 2: No, yeah, so hot and sweaty.
- 40:48Speaker 3: I didn't know that trend. So girls would wear two socks,
- 40:50Speaker 3: two socks, but.
- 40:51Speaker 2: You would mismatch the colors. Oh yeah, that's a good one.
- 40:56Speaker 6: When the Boys of the Ming first came out, I
- 41:00Speaker 6: used to walk around with a pacifier.
- 41:02Speaker 8: Like.
- 41:05Speaker 3: You didn't.
- 41:06Speaker 2: Trend was so weird.
- 41:08Speaker 1: Yes, and then what about wearing a Cadillac symbol.
- 41:11Speaker 3: No, y'all, don't, don't skip.
- 41:13Speaker 1: Don't trying to breeze over it.
- 41:14Speaker 3: Don't skip, don't skip the pacifier trend.
- 41:19Speaker 5: This was a trend in the late nineties early two thousands,
- 41:23Speaker 5: and not only because of Boys the Matter or whatever,
- 41:25Speaker 5: but because of.
- 41:26Speaker 3: That movie Boys, Boys in the Hood. You said, boys
- 41:29Speaker 3: the Men.
- 41:30Speaker 5: Yes, Oh, I memo Boys in the Hood when when
- 41:34Speaker 5: they got sucked on a pacifier, and then you'd see
- 41:37Speaker 5: dudes walking around sucking on pacifiers.
- 41:41Speaker 2: I didn't know that's where that came from.
- 41:43Speaker 3: Yeah, okay, what about this? That was embarrassing. I can't
- 41:48Speaker 3: believe you did that?
- 41:51Speaker 6: What up to?
- 41:51Speaker 5: Okay, this is another good one. Tara in Plano says,
- 41:54Speaker 5: I missed the trend of hanging out at the mall.
- 41:57Speaker 5: Do kids do that anymore? My mom used to drop
- 41:59Speaker 5: us off the Colin Creek mall and we walk around
- 42:03Speaker 5: for hours. Wow, the kids do that, because my son
- 42:06Speaker 5: does it at Stonebriers sometimes.
- 42:08Speaker 2: Yeah, Oh that's good. I think the first time I
- 42:10Speaker 2: did that was like the last day of sixth grade,
- 42:11Speaker 2: and I was like, yes, this is so awesome.
- 42:14Speaker 5: Really and see and then I do it. And then
- 42:15Speaker 5: you have your mom drop you off like far away
- 42:17Speaker 5: from the door. Yeah, exactly because you didn't want to,
- 42:19Speaker 5: you know, the other kids to see your mom dropping.
- 42:21Speaker 2: You off right, like how else did we get here?
- 42:24Speaker 3: And then right and then she'd pick you up. And
- 42:26Speaker 3: then you do it like a mom.
- 42:27Speaker 5: Don't pull right up to the door. No, you across
- 42:30Speaker 5: the street. I'm pulling up to the door. Please mom,
- 42:34Speaker 5: please don't please stop. Oh it's another one that Samantha
- 42:41Speaker 5: just sent in. The Fukas shell necklaces, shells, pukah shell
- 42:47Speaker 5: those big white shells.
- 42:49Speaker 3: Yeah, who wore one of those? Didn't you wear one
- 42:55Speaker 3: of those?
- 42:55Speaker 2: We always got him in.
- 42:58Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah you did.
- 43:01Speaker 3: He would walk around who at one point, I can
- 43:04Speaker 3: see that.
- 43:04Speaker 1: Let me tell you this.
- 43:06Speaker 3: Woo had his hair dyed blonde.
- 43:09Speaker 5: He had pooka shell necklace and no, no, and then
- 43:15Speaker 5: this is the worst part. And then he had his
- 43:18Speaker 5: tongue pierced.
- 43:21Speaker 1: But also I tried to rock a band aid like Nelly.
- 43:26Speaker 3: You did not, you did not. We went to sell pod.
- 43:32Speaker 1: You know did I came out with a did did
- 43:35Speaker 1: you cut yourself?
- 43:36Speaker 7: No?
- 43:37Speaker 1: It was like take that, well, you know what.
- 43:41Speaker 3: So I'd love to make funny, but I'm the guy
- 43:43Speaker 3: that had a mohawk for four years. Oh that's true. Yeah,
- 43:46Speaker 3: and that one wasn't even in the nineties. I'm gonna
- 43:54Speaker 3: mix one or two.
- 43:54Speaker 5: Point nine and build a kid candy slow pants producer.
- 43:57Speaker 3: Who don't forget.
- 43:57Speaker 5: We got Cooper Flag Friday tomorrow, so we're gonna hook
- 44:00Speaker 5: you up with some tickets, math tickets if you want
- 44:02Speaker 5: to go Cooper Flags like first home games.
- 44:04Speaker 3: So we'll do it all day.
- 44:05Speaker 5: Start at like six am, thirty two after the hour,
- 44:08Speaker 5: so that's his number, thirty two, so easy to remember.
- 44:11Speaker 5: MAVs tickets all day. I can't wait for this season.
- 44:13Speaker 5: I'm sad. I'm still sad. Hit me up in my DMS. Well,
- 44:17Speaker 5: I thought you were so mad about Luca. Yes, I'm
- 44:18Speaker 5: always gonna be mad about that, but at some point
- 44:20Speaker 5: I think we got to go. Okay, it is what
- 44:21Speaker 5: it is. Yeah, and I'm still a MAVs fan. So
- 44:24Speaker 5: all right, uh listen win tomorrow, dirty little secret right now,
- 44:27Speaker 5: if you have one, let us know, call us anytime
- 44:29Speaker 5: at eight three threes seven eight seven, one oh two
- 44:32Speaker 5: nine and.
- 44:32Speaker 3: You have one.
- 44:34Speaker 7: So this night sounds bizarre, but I am super attracted
- 44:39Speaker 7: to old men.
- 44:42Speaker 3: Okay, like how old to old men?
- 44:45Speaker 7: Old old men? Yeah, old talking like forties, fifties, Like
- 44:50Speaker 7: I'm I'm really into like sixties and sometimes even seventies.
- 44:58Speaker 3: So wait, yeah, sixty, how old are you?
- 45:00Speaker 5: I'm twenty eight, you're twenty eight, okay, and you are
- 45:03Speaker 5: attracted to You're not talking fifties. You said ideally you
- 45:07Speaker 5: like sixties sometimes even seventy.
- 45:09Speaker 7: Yes, Because so here's the thing, though, I cannot stand
- 45:14Speaker 7: guys my age, like they do nothing for me, in fact,
- 45:19Speaker 7: like turn me off in the way that I hate
- 45:21Speaker 7: how they act, how they look, like they even have,
- 45:24Speaker 7: like their smell, Like I don't know, but there is
- 45:27Speaker 7: something unique about an older man. And I have been
- 45:31Speaker 7: like this for a long time.
- 45:32Speaker 5: You've always been into old dude sixties seventies. That just
- 45:35Speaker 5: I mean, I know, older guys is a thing, you know,
- 45:38Speaker 5: the attraction is real.
- 45:39Speaker 2: Old men smell like, Yeah, what the hell do.
- 45:42Speaker 3: Old men smell like? I just I feel like loubies
- 45:46Speaker 3: depends no, no, no, they.
- 45:48Speaker 7: Smell like I don't know how to say it except distinguished,
- 45:51Speaker 7: like just like this distinguished scense. And young guys smell
- 45:56Speaker 7: like bo or like bad cologne and so Okay, So
- 46:01Speaker 7: when I was a teenager, I wasn't in the like
- 46:03Speaker 7: sixties seventies then, but I've always just dated older guys.
- 46:07Speaker 7: So like when I was a teenager, I was dating
- 46:09Speaker 7: guys and they're twenties, sometimes even they're thirties. But the
- 46:12Speaker 7: older that I get, the older I want.
- 46:15Speaker 5: Did you have Okay, and I'm just gonna throw this
- 46:17Speaker 5: out there. I'm no therapist or psychologist, but did you
- 46:19Speaker 5: have some sort of trauma when you were a kid
- 46:21Speaker 5: or younger with an older.
- 46:23Speaker 3: Figure or no?
- 46:26Speaker 7: And I mean a couple of people have said this
- 46:28Speaker 7: or been like, oh, you must have daddy issues. Or
- 46:30Speaker 7: like grandpa issues. But no, I had a normal childhood.
- 46:34Speaker 7: I had some really great male figures in my life. Yeah,
- 46:38Speaker 7: which I think maybe maybe that's part of it that
- 46:41Speaker 7: I saw, like how great older men could be, right
- 46:44Speaker 7: because when I was young, like my dad and grandpa are.
- 46:47Speaker 3: Rabbi was great too, But I didn't want a dater.
- 46:49Speaker 2: Yeah, but don't they go to sleep so early?
- 46:51Speaker 7: I'm not attracted to women.
- 46:53Speaker 2: Don't these old guys go to bed at like six?
- 46:56Speaker 3: I'm not even I'm in my forties and I go
- 46:57Speaker 3: to bed at seven?
- 46:59Speaker 7: Okay they one, Yeah, but I'm not. First of all, No,
- 47:03Speaker 7: the last guy I dated was sixty one and he
- 47:07Speaker 7: went to bed around ten, which is actually lovely sixty one.
- 47:11Speaker 7: I don't need to be up till two in the morning.
- 47:13Speaker 5: But yeah, okay, I don't want to be rude, and
- 47:15Speaker 5: I'm not trying to take it here because I don't
- 47:17Speaker 5: think that you're a bad person. But is it Does
- 47:20Speaker 5: it have anything to do with the level of success
- 47:22Speaker 5: or maybe money they have or I'm trying to be
- 47:25Speaker 5: polite about it.
- 47:26Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, yeah, No, so I have a job, I
- 47:29Speaker 7: have my own money, Like, I don't need to depend
- 47:31Speaker 7: on someone else. So it's really not about that. There
- 47:35Speaker 7: are a lot of women out there who think like this,
- 47:38Speaker 7: Trust me, I just think they don't want to admit it.
- 47:40Speaker 2: Really, are these guys retired? Are they still going to work?
- 47:43Speaker 7: So at sixty one? No, my ex was still going
- 47:47Speaker 7: to work. But I have some people who have been retired.
- 47:52Speaker 3: Yes, okad Wow.
- 47:54Speaker 2: Do you want to have kids?
- 47:56Speaker 8: No?
- 47:57Speaker 3: Obviously not I'm just kidous.
- 47:58Speaker 2: No okay, no, well that's probably.
- 48:01Speaker 5: I'm not saying you can't have kids. I mean, what
- 48:03Speaker 5: what Robert de Niro didn't he just have Maybe he's
- 48:06Speaker 5: like eighty so, but what here's my question is what
- 48:08Speaker 5: do you two like?
- 48:09Speaker 3: What do you guys talk about?
- 48:11Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 48:11Speaker 3: I feel like you guys would be on two different planets.
- 48:13Speaker 3: Maybe I'm wrong. What do you mean?
- 48:15Speaker 7: We're humans? You can connect with anyone. What do we
- 48:17Speaker 7: talk about? Sorry, I don't want to have conversations about
- 48:19Speaker 7: tiktoks with my significant other, you know. And also you're
- 48:23Speaker 7: you're sounding a little agis in the fact that you're
- 48:26Speaker 7: like people in their sixties or seventies can't relate to
- 48:29Speaker 7: someone in their twenties, like.
- 48:30Speaker 2: Well, I know they can't watch TV.
- 48:33Speaker 5: They do they watch Matt Locke and you know people's
- 48:37Speaker 5: court price is right and there's nothing wrong with it.
- 48:40Speaker 5: Whatever makes you happy, dude, Yeah, like there's nothing wrong
- 48:43Speaker 5: with what you're doing. I'm just trying to get a
- 48:44Speaker 5: grip on why. But maybe I'll never know, and that's fine.
- 48:47Speaker 5: Last question, I promise, I know how how do I
- 48:51Speaker 5: say this?
- 48:52Speaker 2: I know where you're going.
- 48:54Speaker 3: What's the bedroom? What's the bedroom? Life like?
- 48:56Speaker 7: It is better than you could imagine for real. Yes,
- 49:00Speaker 7: they have nothing to prove. They are experienced in a
- 49:04Speaker 7: way that they I don't know how to say this appropriately.
- 49:07Speaker 7: These are on the radio, but it is. It's so
- 49:10Speaker 7: good and like the the I just, like I said,
- 49:13Speaker 7: this is not needing to prove thing, whereas I think
- 49:15Speaker 7: young guys are just like overcompensate for a lot and
- 49:19Speaker 7: are also very selfish, whereas older men are not there.
- 49:22Speaker 5: You go, well, hey, okay, props to you. I'm glad
- 49:25Speaker 5: you're happy. That's what matters is everybody deserves.
- 49:27Speaker 3: To be happy.
- 49:28Speaker 2: Do you love it?
- 49:29Speaker 5: You?
- 49:29Speaker 3: We always say that love, love is love.
- 49:32Speaker 5: I'm happy you're happy, and you gotta love golden? Yeah,
- 49:34Speaker 5: stay golden, You're o a little golden bachelorette. You gotta
- 49:38Speaker 5: let us know what happens in the next guy you date,
- 49:39Speaker 5: how old he is, because I'm curious now I'm invested.
- 49:41Speaker 2: Right, do you have a limit?
- 49:42Speaker 5: Though?
- 49:43Speaker 2: I gotta ask that real quick, like would you go
- 49:45Speaker 2: up to eighty or no?
- 49:46Speaker 7: Jesz, I mean I'm not really dry it right, I'm open.
- 49:50Speaker 7: I'm open.
- 49:50Speaker 3: Oh my god, you're going to break one of their hips.
- 49:54Speaker 7: We'll see. Challenge accepted.
- 49:56Speaker 3: Well, good luck and uh yeah, let us know, keep
- 49:58Speaker 3: us in the loop.
- 49:59Speaker 7: Okay. I actually think a lot of people are going
- 50:01Speaker 7: to call in know and be like, oh my god,
- 50:03Speaker 7: I'm going to ask.
- 50:03Speaker 5: I'm going to ask how many people how many women
- 50:06Speaker 5: are attracted to older dudes?
- 50:08Speaker 3: Much older dudes?
- 50:09Speaker 7: All right? Love it, love the show.
- 50:10Speaker 8: Thanks you guys, Thank you, We love you too.
- 50:12Speaker 5: I guess I guess the good news is if it
- 50:14Speaker 5: turns out where you don't like the guy, he probably
- 50:17Speaker 5: just wait it out. Makes one or two point nine
- 50:21Speaker 5: ability kid Candid slow Paz, producer poo, We're out of here.

- 50:36Speaker 2: Probably? Yeah, he's done drywall.
- 50:38Speaker 3: Can Eric come over and fix my roof?
- 50:39Speaker 2: Possibly? I don't know if he's done roofing, but he
- 50:42Speaker 2: probably figured it out.

- 51:47Speaker 5: I love giving away candy. I love giving away candy.
- 51:51Speaker 5: But there's not enough kids anymore like there used to
- 51:53Speaker 5: be in my neighborhood.
- 51:55Speaker 2: Neighborhood, No, why give candy with us?

- 52:18Speaker 5: I'm like, well, it's not your house, so there you Yeah,
- 52:21Speaker 5: thank you.

- 52:35Speaker 5: five minute nap. Okay, it works wonders for me at least.
- 52:39Speaker 5: And then I go hop at the pool like a
- 52:41Speaker 5: cold plunge. Some of it too cold, but it's cold enough.
- 52:44Speaker 2: Yeah okay.
- 52:45Speaker 3: And then I get up and I run six miles.
- 52:47Speaker 3: Yeah right, okay, I don't do that. We'll see it
- 52:51Speaker 3: the mile. I'll have a great day.
