Lessons from 48 Years of Volunteerism (And A Little Running) with Phyllis Petrillo
Welcome to the Mile Marker! Every other week, we chat with the people who make the Boilermaker Road Race the incredible community event that it is!
In this episode, we talk to Phyllis Petrillo. Phyllis is currently the head of the Boilermaker Scholarship Committee, but she's had many jobs over the last 48 years - from stuffing race packets to helping with timing to bib pick up and beyond! She also is a "one and done" Boilermaker runner and shares the experience of running the 15K for the 20th anniversary in 1997.
