GoFundMe Confirmed for Fallen Deputy | Alexandria Louisiana News
A GoFundMe for fallen Deputy U.S. Marshal Drew Hanson has sparked confusion, but GoFundMe has confirmed it’s legitimate—despite initial doubts from his father. Organizer Aniqa Tumolo is working with the platform to ensure funds go directly to the family. The tragic shooting occurred July 13th during an arrest attempt on Clarence Frazier, Jr., now facing FBI-led charges. Over $60,000 has been donated, and GoFundMe guarantees full refunds if the family declines the funds—showing transparency and community support in a heartbreaking time.
