What does the Bible really mean by modesty? Is it simply about how much clothing we wear—or does God look deeper?
In this lesson, we examine modesty as a heart issue. Jesus condemned the scribes and Pharisees for using their clothing, religious appearance, and position to draw attention to themselves. At the other extreme, Scripture also shows that after sin entered the world, God cared about properly covering the body.
The problem on both ends can be the same: “Look at me.”
