- 0:00SPEAKER_00: Your body's always communicating with you and helping you to understand where you're stuck on an emotional level, or what pattern you're hanging on to, or what core belief just isn't really working for you anymore.
- 0:12SPEAKER_00: And where that pain is showing up in your body, it tells you so much about what the actual cause is.
- 0:18SPEAKER_00: The physical body is only ever trying to just point you in the direction of self-compassion and self-love.
- 0:23SPEAKER_00: That's all the physical body is ever trying to communicate to us.
- 0:28SPEAKER_00: Welcome to Reclaiming Consciousness.
- 0:30SPEAKER_01: My name is Elise Bassine, spiritual mentor, breathwork practitioner, and owner and CEO of Elise Breeds.
- 0:37SPEAKER_01: For many years, our consciousness has been hijacked by societal and cultural programming, religion, the media, and familial and ancestral trauma.
- 0:47SPEAKER_01: Right now, during this epic time in history, people are waking up, realizing who they really are, and reclaiming the pieces of their consciousness that they unknowingly gave away.
- 0:58SPEAKER_01: This podcast is an exploration of how so many spectacular humans are leading the way in exiting the matrix and reclaiming who they really are and what they're capable of.
- 1:09SPEAKER_01: In this show, you'll meet exceptional people who are paving the way in raising consciousness and creating a new way of living on this earth.
- 1:17SPEAKER_01: Get ready to go deep.
- 1:19SPEAKER_01: Now let's dive in.
- 1:25SPEAKER_01: Hi everyone, welcome back to the show.
- 1:28SPEAKER_01: So this week I have my longtime client, Kate Crawford, on the show.
- 1:34SPEAKER_01: And she is a breath worker and she's a former physical therapist.
- 1:41SPEAKER_01: So she has a really powerful connection with the body.
- 1:46SPEAKER_01: And she's able to see where people are holding trauma in the body.
- 1:51SPEAKER_01: And she's also able to see what pain you have in the body and what it's telling you, like what it means, which is really, really cool.
- 1:59SPEAKER_01: Because I know a lot of people struggle with chronic pain and they're not sure exactly where it's coming from.
- 2:05SPEAKER_01: And she's actually able to see where it's coming from and like what the emotional wounding is behind it, which is really, really cool.
- 2:13SPEAKER_01: And she's in the metamorphosis method, getting certified with me.
- 2:17SPEAKER_01: So she's incorporated all of that into her ability to read the body.
- 2:22SPEAKER_01: And she'll tell you all about that in the episode and also just her journey with me over the last year and a half to completely change her life in the metamorphosis, the metamorphosis method, and one-on-one work with me.
- 2:37SPEAKER_01: And just hearing her story is incredibly powerful because she is a completely different person than she was when we started working together in the spring of 2021.
- 2:47SPEAKER_01: So I love this conversation.
- 2:49SPEAKER_01: I love Kate so much, and you will too.
- 2:51SPEAKER_01: So I know you guys are gonna love this.
- 2:54SPEAKER_01: So just a couple announcements.
- 2:57SPEAKER_01: Costa Rica, we are starting to fill up.
- 3:00SPEAKER_01: So if you are thinking about joining us in April, I know it still feels far away, but it's gonna come sooner than you think.
- 3:08SPEAKER_01: And this is going to be a life-changing experience.
- 3:11SPEAKER_01: So if you go to elisebreeds.com, there's a button right on the home page that you can click on to get all the information about the retreat and to make your deposit.
- 3:22SPEAKER_01: It's just a$525 deposit that's required to hold your space.
- 3:27SPEAKER_01: So you definitely want to get on that.
- 3:28SPEAKER_01: If you're feeling the pull for Costa Rica, it is going to be like nothing we've all ever experienced before.
- 3:36SPEAKER_01: So definitely reach out to me if you have questions about that.
- 3:40SPEAKER_01: And then also, I have a couple spaces left for my 30-day money and magnetism portal, which is 30 days of close proximity voxer coaching and a personalized breathwork session.
- 3:52SPEAKER_01: This is for the woman who wants a boost, wants to be in close proximity with me and get feedback from me on a regular basis.
- 4:01SPEAKER_01: Usually in Voxer, I'm able to tune in very clearly to what's blocking you, what you're not seeing, and what you can shift energetically in order to step into the magnetism and the abundance and all the things that you're desiring.
- 4:18SPEAKER_01: And you just move really fast in Voxer.
- 4:21SPEAKER_01: Like if you ask any of my women who have Voxer with me, it's just a way to move really, really fast and get to where you want to go quickly.
- 4:29SPEAKER_01: So I have two more spaces available for that.
- 4:32SPEAKER_01: You can reach out to me directly, just DM me on Instagram to claim one of those spaces and to get all of the details.
- 4:39SPEAKER_01: But that's a really fun offer right now that I don't usually have and I don't know when I'm gonna do it again.
- 4:45SPEAKER_01: Cause usually with one-to-one, we go for a longer period of time.
- 4:50SPEAKER_01: But um, this is just a really fun way to get in my world and get that close proximity, regular feedback and mentorship that really moves the needle for you quickly.
- 5:01SPEAKER_01: So if that's something you're feeling drawn to, reach out to me and have an amazing week.
- 5:07SPEAKER_01: Happy December and enjoy the episode.
- 5:12SPEAKER_01: Hi everyone, welcome back to the show.
- 5:14SPEAKER_01: So I am so excited to introduce you to today's guest because she's freaking amazing.
- 5:20SPEAKER_01: So today we have with us Kate Crawford, who, after years of working as a physical therapist and continually seeing the ways in which the healthcare system was failing her clients, Kate discovered breath work and Cora Wellness was born.
- 5:36SPEAKER_01: Her work through this business marries her experience as a physical therapist and integrates it with her knowledge and training in breath work, creating a process for connecting with the body, listening to its wisdom, and creating lasting change.
- 5:48SPEAKER_01: And we're gonna talk about the rest of it.
- 5:50SPEAKER_01: I'm just gonna stop it there.
- 5:52SPEAKER_01: Welcome to the show, Kate.
- 5:54SPEAKER_01: Thank you so much for having me.
- 5:56SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I'm really excited to talk to you.
- 5:58SPEAKER_01: So I know we have a lot to talk about.
- 6:00SPEAKER_01: So why don't you just give us like a little bit of your background and how you got into this?
- 6:05SPEAKER_01: And also, you know, you and I have been working together now for more than a year, like a year and a half already.
- 6:11SPEAKER_01: A year and a half, yeah.
- 6:12SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 6:13SPEAKER_01: So maybe just a little bit of your background and then how you got interested in breath work and then also like kind of how you ended up getting drawn to working with me.
- 6:22SPEAKER_00: Yeah, absolutely.
- 6:23SPEAKER_00: So, like you mentioned, my background professionally is in physical therapy.
- 6:30SPEAKER_00: So I've always been really interested with kind of like the mechanics of how the body works and the ins and outs of why it's presenting a certain way.
- 6:41SPEAKER_00: I think professionally, I had made a switch over to public health.
- 6:46SPEAKER_00: I'm here in Canada, so I'd made a switch over to public health when my kids were born, so about seven years ago, and um was getting increasingly frustrated with like the public health system in Canada, just kind of like seeing the same clients over and over again, and you know, feeling like there was always a little bit more that I could do with them or wanted to be part of like that management team in a different way, and always kind of like hitting up against roadblocks with that.
- 7:16SPEAKER_00: And then the pandemic hit, and we had just like a bit of breathing room in the healthcare system before in where I am, in um, I'm in the middle of nowhere in like Atlantic, Canada, but COVID didn't really come here for like a year.
- 7:30SPEAKER_00: So we were just all kind of like waiting around.
- 7:33SPEAKER_00: And in that time, the universe had been very like gently pushing me in the direction of breath work, and I didn't really know what it was.
- 7:42SPEAKER_00: I had also been doing some extra training in uh women's health, so primarily like pelvic health, urinary incontinence, dyspernia, and that sort of thing.
- 7:53SPEAKER_00: So breathing is a huge part of pelvic health, and so I was I was starting to get a little bit interested in it, but then every time I would come to the instructors with questions about the diaphragm and breathing, just on a very like mechanical and physiological level, they were always just like little, like, I don't know what you're talking about.
- 8:11SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 8:11SPEAKER_00: I, you know, we should look into that.
- 8:13SPEAKER_00: So my initial introduction to breath work was really just like I downloaded an app on my phone and I had been really trying to just kind of drop into more mindfulness, especially during the pandemic.
- 8:26SPEAKER_00: I've had, you know, debilitating anxiety up until about a year and a half ago.
- 8:31SPEAKER_00: So yeah, when I found breath work just on a very superficial level, I was like, okay, like this is pretty good.
- 8:38SPEAKER_00: And at that time I was still working, still working on a hospital here.
- 8:43SPEAKER_00: And then I think I heard you on a podcast.
- 8:47SPEAKER_00: I was driving, I do remember this.
- 8:49SPEAKER_00: I was driving to work and I heard you on a podcast, and you were talking about the birth story, like energy around your birth story.
- 8:56SPEAKER_00: And like I've been talking about this with my friends forever to the point where they're just like, Can you please shut up about the birth story thing?
- 9:02SPEAKER_00: Like, we get it.
- 9:05SPEAKER_00: But like everything that you were saying, I was just like, oh my gosh.
- 9:08SPEAKER_00: And then that was even they must imagine that you did breath work.
- 9:12SPEAKER_00: So then I was like, there's different types of breath work at that point.
- 9:17SPEAKER_00: It was just like deep breathing and more of just like mindful meditation.
- 9:22SPEAKER_00: But yeah, and then when I came across some of the stuff you were doing with some more active breathing and getting in behind some of like that stuck emotional energy, I was just kind of like, I was sold.
- 9:35SPEAKER_01: Yeah, yeah.
- 9:36SPEAKER_01: Well, I don't remember what podcast it was, what you had said.
- 9:39SPEAKER_01: I heard you on a podcast, and I think I need to work with you.
- 9:43SPEAKER_01: And then I think when we started working together, you had kind of on a leave of absence from work, but you didn't want to go back.
- 9:50SPEAKER_00: Well, yeah, I had um they had put these restrictions on cross-border commuters during the pandemic, and so I was working in a different province.
- 10:00SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I was a solo mom at that time, and I'm just like, I can't not leave my house when I come home from work to like be a present and good parent for my kids, but also for myself.
- 10:11SPEAKER_00: So yeah, I had taken another leave of absence from work.
- 10:14SPEAKER_00: That was like my fourth one.
- 10:17SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and you were just like, I don't think I can go back.
- 10:21SPEAKER_01: Um, and then you didn't, you didn't go back.
- 10:24SPEAKER_01: I couldn't.
- 10:24SPEAKER_00: It was like once I started using the breath, being able to just kind of like drop into what I really needed.
- 10:30SPEAKER_00: The idea of going back to work at that space, my body was just like, this is a hard no.
- 10:38SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 10:39SPEAKER_01: So I mean, it's crazy because I know one of the things that you said when you came to me was like that you just had so much anxiety that it was like just overtook you all the time.
- 10:51SPEAKER_01: And can you talk about that and then like how that changed or what that is like now?
- 10:55SPEAKER_01: And also, sorry for like the long question, but like also like what did you discover was the reason why you actually had the anxiety?
- 11:04SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 11:04SPEAKER_00: So I have had like debilitating anxiety my entire life.
- 11:09SPEAKER_00: Like, I can't remember a time where I didn't have it prior to about a year and a half ago.
- 11:15SPEAKER_00: And I didn't know this about myself until I was pregnant with my son.
- 11:20SPEAKER_00: And I actually was very much encouraged to seek professional help.
- 11:25SPEAKER_00: So I started like seeing a psychiatrist and talk and like a talk therapist.
- 11:30SPEAKER_00: And when I found out I had an anxiety disorder, I was just like, oh my God, thank God that not everybody feels this way.
- 11:37SPEAKER_00: I kind of just thought this was normal.
- 11:40SPEAKER_00: And then I had done a bit of kind of like self-inquiry and self-work around it, but it really wasn't until we started working together that the pieces of just kind of like how empathic I am and how open I am to all of the emotions that like everyone is having all the time, that that was the cause of a lot of my anxiety.
- 12:03SPEAKER_00: And I still I get a little emotional talking about it still because it has really changed my life being able to navigate and just own how I'm gonna feel in my own body and the work with you, obviously, and the breath work has played a huge part in that.
- 12:21SPEAKER_00: Just, you know, coming back to myself and understanding what I feel like and what it just feels like when it's just me and it's just my energy and not the heavy emotions of like sometimes it felt like the entire world.
- 12:34SPEAKER_01: Yeah, and like it's crazy because I'm so glad we're talking about this because this is actually such a common thing for so many of us.
- 12:43SPEAKER_01: Cause I know that's exactly what I went through too.
- 12:46SPEAKER_01: I mean, mine would show up as an anxiety, but sometimes it would just show up as like just like discomfort in so many situations.
- 12:54SPEAKER_01: Um, and kind of for me, it would also show up as kind of like overwhelm.
- 12:58SPEAKER_01: But um, it's something that no one really talks about that I think more people than we realize, especially women of like our generation, like I know you and I are basically the same age and who came in with these healing gifts, but who also had parents who had no idea about that.
- 13:16SPEAKER_01: And you come in and you're like super open, super sensitive, super empathic, super psychic, and you have this super emotional, and you have this ability to heal, then you automatically think that's what you're supposed to do for people, right?
- 13:34SPEAKER_01: Because it is, but you don't realize like how you're supposed to do it.
- 13:37SPEAKER_01: You just know that you're supposed to do it.
- 13:39SPEAKER_01: And then because we can feel everyone's emotions, we end up thinking, like as young kids, that the way to help them is to just kind of take it on.
- 13:48SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 13:48SPEAKER_01: Because we don't really know any better.
- 13:50SPEAKER_01: And because we can feel it, we just are like, okay, that must, and you don't even know the difference between other people and you.
- 13:58SPEAKER_01: And then you just end up taking it on and not even realizing that you're doing it, and then walking around with holding and carrying not only everyone's emotions, but the burden and responsibility of everybody's emotions, which is really intense.
- 14:14SPEAKER_01: And I know for you, you just are so tuned in and so open and feel it so intensely.
- 14:20SPEAKER_01: It was like so much for you.
- 14:22SPEAKER_01: So, like, how has that changed?
- 14:24SPEAKER_01: And also, like, how has I mean, obviously, I know it was through the breath work and through our work together, but just in your own words, like, how do you navigate that now versus before?
- 14:37SPEAKER_00: It's so interesting to me now.
- 14:40SPEAKER_00: So the way that I navigate that is just by doing a ton of energy work on myself throughout the day, just to get really clear on setting those energetic and emotional boundaries.
- 14:53SPEAKER_00: But it is so crazy now when I feel anxiety.
- 14:56SPEAKER_00: It's rarely mine, which is really interesting to me in this lovely kind of like sad way.
- 15:03SPEAKER_00: I guess I don't know.
- 15:04SPEAKER_00: Like, I feel very grateful for that knowledge.
- 15:08SPEAKER_00: So I start my day just being very clear on how I want to feel and how I want to show up and what I'm willing to take on and what I'm not willing to take on, and just saying those words out loud to myself out loud, whatever sometimes I say them out loud.
- 15:24SPEAKER_00: It's just so empowering to me because forever I didn't really feel like I had a choice over it.
- 15:31SPEAKER_00: And my way of like compensating for that was to try to like fix and help everyone else in my life that when they weren't really even asking for my help.
- 15:42SPEAKER_00: Yes.
- 15:42SPEAKER_00: Do you know what I mean?
- 15:43SPEAKER_00: So to be aware of that and to be able to just like set that intention every day and have the awareness and the knowing that I can come back to that whenever I want, it has been like the greatest gift that I've ever given myself.
- 15:57SPEAKER_01: Yeah, a hundred percent, because it seriously up levels the quality of your life, first of all, because it's like now you're it's it's really like taking agency over how you feel and taking your power back, essentially.
- 16:12SPEAKER_01: But um, I'm curious to know too, just from the perspective of the metamorphosis, because I kind of want to bring that into it because it's such an important piece of all of this, because like what you're saying is kind of like the like not the finished product, because again, it's not like we're ever a finished product, but like you are able to, you're able to do that energy work for yourself because you've also cleared the deeper traumas.
- 16:43SPEAKER_01: So I think that's a really important piece for people to understand is you can't go from A to Z.
- 16:49SPEAKER_01: No, you can't go from like being riddled with anxiety to then just being able to do energy work on yourself and it working out fine.
- 16:58SPEAKER_01: You have to go through and acknowledge and feel and move through like the deeper reasons of why you had anxiety, including like your family and ancestral trauma.
- 17:10SPEAKER_01: So, would you mind talking about that a little bit, like through the perspective of the metamorphosis and all of that?
- 17:15SPEAKER_00: Yeah, absolutely.
- 17:17SPEAKER_00: I think it was really the whole birth story thing, just like it got me.
- 17:21SPEAKER_00: Like I was just Oh my god, yeah.
- 17:23SPEAKER_00: Whatever this woman has to offer, like I am, I am down for it.
- 17:29SPEAKER_00: Like I only needed like a paragraph of like what you had to say because I have always known this.
- 17:37SPEAKER_00: Like I have always had this awareness that because I have felt it, I just didn't know what it was and I couldn't put, I didn't have a language for it, but I've always known that there are these layers of work that you have to just kind of like work your way through in order to feel better.
- 17:54SPEAKER_00: And I think, yeah, like my goal when I started working with you was like, I just want to feel calm, I want to feel grounded, I want to feel like I'm good to go.
- 18:04SPEAKER_00: Like I just I know what I want and I know, you know, I know how I want to feel.
- 18:08SPEAKER_00: So, and what was so interesting for me through the metamorphosis, because I started it and I was like, yes, birth story, I can't wait.
- 18:15SPEAKER_00: And I just wanted to stay there all the time.
- 18:17SPEAKER_00: I'm like, I don't need to do anything with my mom or my dad or my siblings.
- 18:21SPEAKER_00: Like, great, I'm totally fine, you know.
- 18:24SPEAKER_00: But for someone who at that point really didn't have a good awareness around just all of the layers and the facets of why I was feeling the way that I was prior to starting that program, working my way through what I was holding on to in and around those relationships was so difficult and it was hard work to do, but it was really what got me through to the other side.
- 18:52SPEAKER_00: And like I remember starting the mother breath work, and um, I think the second or third time I did it, and I think I I messaged you, and I'm just like a thousand women just cried through me.
- 19:03SPEAKER_00: Like it was so crazy.
- 19:05SPEAKER_00: And in the moment, like I never really have time to kind of come back and feel that lightness in my body because I think when I first started and I've gone through and I've done this breath work multiple times now, but you know, when you're initially starting and you're just going through it, it's just like you're just giving yourself this space and this opportunity to just like work through these emotions, which you don't really know are there.
- 19:30SPEAKER_00: And yeah, it was like hugely transformative for me.
- 19:33SPEAKER_00: And so then I went on to the father, and as you know, I've come in and out of that multiple times, but yeah, just bringing awareness to how much of that trauma we hold, or that emotional energy we hold, or those stories or patterns or beliefs, or however you want to call it, just doing the work to understand what those are and just naming it.
- 19:57SPEAKER_00: And you always say, like, not making it wrong, and then just like moving through it.
- 20:01SPEAKER_00: It has just been, it was like the the best way to start.
- 20:05SPEAKER_00: So foundational for me to doing this work, to getting to where I wanted to be.
- 20:10SPEAKER_01: Oh my God, a hundred percent.
- 20:12SPEAKER_01: I don't know that everyone quite understands how necessary it is to dismantle these relationships.
- 20:21SPEAKER_01: And you know, I I think it's becoming more widely known, I guess, that we have to kind of do that in order to get to where we want to be.
- 20:30SPEAKER_01: There's really no skipping over it.
- 20:32SPEAKER_01: Right.
- 20:32SPEAKER_01: Um, I mean, we can try to skip over it, but it's not gonna work in the way the way that we want.
- 20:39SPEAKER_01: Um, so yeah, just like having that understanding of what the patterns are and what the wounding is that you took on from your parents.
- 20:49SPEAKER_01: And you know, some because now you're you're in the metamorphosis method where we really kind of go deep and dissecting all of this and figuring out how everything relates back to everything else.
- 21:00SPEAKER_01: And it's not always cut and dry, right?
- 21:03SPEAKER_01: Like there's so much nuance to it.
- 21:05SPEAKER_01: Because a lot of people will be like, oh, well, I had a great upbringing or nothing really crazy happened to me.
- 21:13SPEAKER_01: You know, like I have people say that to me all the time, and I'm like, okay, just wait till I get my hands on you.
- 21:21SPEAKER_01: Um, because a lot of what I think our generation has experienced too is more of this like relational trauma, which is just the trauma of the way that our parents related to us based on their trauma.
- 21:36SPEAKER_01: And then also the way we watch them relate to each other based on their trauma.
- 21:41SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 21:41SPEAKER_01: And the way we watch them relate to the world, right?
- 21:44SPEAKER_01: So, like, and a lot of that will have to do with like their own fears, their own perceptions of lack, their own perceptions of what is available to them and what's not available to them in life.
- 21:57SPEAKER_01: And because of these things, we actually limit our.
- 22:00SPEAKER_01: ourselves unknowingly and take on those beliefs about ourselves as our own, even though they were theirs, right?
- 22:08SPEAKER_01: When they took them on from their parents, right?
- 22:10SPEAKER_01: So that's why, like as we heal that trauma from them, we actually heal the ancestral trauma because they're carrying it, they're passing it on to us.
- 22:20SPEAKER_01: And then when we heal it, we're not passing it on to our kids.
- 22:24SPEAKER_01: So um so yeah, not to go into a huge rant about that, but it is just so incredibly important.
- 22:31SPEAKER_01: So other than like your anxiety going away, what else were some of like the biggest changes that you now have in your life after doing all this work?
- 22:42SPEAKER_00: Well what, and this is really kind of how I transitioned in out of healthcare and into like my own business was that not only the anxiety just took over everything.
- 22:56SPEAKER_00: Like I didn't have a language for anything other than I'm tired and I have anxiety.
- 23:02SPEAKER_00: You know what I mean?
- 23:03SPEAKER_00: So once I was able to start developing a bigger vocabulary around how I was feeling where emotions are such a huge part of my entire being I was like oh my gosh like I feel so much better on a physical level.
- 23:21SPEAKER_00: I am just like I'm sleeping better.
- 23:23SPEAKER_00: I'm showing up as a parent in a more present way.
- 23:27SPEAKER_00: And like this was one of the trickiest times in my life I had just before working with you I'd gone through very traumatic separation and I was navigating single parenting and like not going back to my job and all these things but and the pandemic and even though all of these things were happening I was just like holy shit like I feel good.
- 23:52SPEAKER_00: Like I don't I can understand when I'm feeling the heaviness and I can get wrapped up in it if I want to but I have a choice on whether I'm gonna get wrapped up in that or whether I'm just gonna like continue to stay in this like yummy vibe where I'm not I'm just not available for the other stuff.
- 24:10SPEAKER_00: So that awareness really got my science going with my master's degree and all of this training that I had in the physical body and the fact that I'm just like so knowledgeable on emotions and exactly where those emotions hang out in the body and exactly how they're gonna manifest as pain.
- 24:33SPEAKER_00: You know, I really started slowly getting together how I might use some of this knowledge with my background in physical therapy.
- 24:44SPEAKER_00: So overall I just felt like a completely different person.
- 24:48SPEAKER_00: And it's not every day like I don't feel that all the time but I can come back to it whenever I want.
- 24:53SPEAKER_00: Totally.
- 24:54SPEAKER_00: Which is like amazing.
- 24:56SPEAKER_01: I know and I think that's like you know obviously we're human beings we're going to feel stuff you know we go through ups and downs.
- 25:04SPEAKER_01: Obviously the energy on the planet right now is so intense there's so much shifting and changing we're all changing so much nothing is rainbows and butterflies all the time like that's not how it is but when we get the tools to navigate our emotions and like you said learning how to name what's actually going on and like feeling like you actually have a vocabulary for what's happening makes such a difference because then you like know how to navigate it.
- 25:29SPEAKER_01: You understand what's going on and you don't make yourself wrong for it.
- 25:33SPEAKER_01: One of the things that I see people get caught up in so much is like if they feel bad, then they make themselves feel bad for feeling bad.
- 25:41SPEAKER_01: Yes, which was my story through my entire life.
- 25:43SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 25:44SPEAKER_01: And then that just makes it worse.
- 25:47SPEAKER_01: So once you like see okay well this is actually my mother stuff or this is actually my stuff with my father this is actually my fear of being seen this is actually me feeling responsible for other people like once you have those things that you can name it's like oh I'm doing that right now.
- 26:04SPEAKER_01: Okay, I'm not gonna do that right now.
- 26:06SPEAKER_01: You know, I'm gonna choose out of it.
- 26:08SPEAKER_01: And it's not like a magic pill like obviously there's emotions tied up in it and we give ourselves a space to feel that but we have the tools for that too like the breath work.
- 26:18SPEAKER_01: So one of the things I'd like to talk about with you too is like obviously the thing that I see with every single person who goes through the metamorphosis is that once we clear out a lot of the trauma, automatically it's so clear to them what they're meant to be doing and what their gifts are.
- 26:36SPEAKER_01: So I know you kind of touched on it but can you kind of expand on you know now you're it's obviously very clear to you what you're meant to do and you're so good at it.
- 26:44SPEAKER_01: So can you like explain what it is and how you kind of came to understand it and then what it is?
- 26:50SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 26:51SPEAKER_00: So very early on in me going through the metamorphosis the first time it was very clear to me that I was like you need to do breath work like you need to do breath work with people.
- 27:04SPEAKER_00: And I think that's all how it started but then I was just like oh my gosh I could do this with physio and it would be so fantastic and people would get so much out of it which is true.
- 27:15SPEAKER_00: It's it's kind of ebbed and flowed not that direct path obviously so I got super excited when that awareness came in and it I didn't call it anxiety it was it was excitement and as I continued to work through and I just kind of understood kind of just at the core of my being identifying as an empath but also understanding that I just really like a gentle easy straightforward way to move I was really able to just kind of like listen and tune in.
- 27:49SPEAKER_00: So like every time I do a breathwork session I get more downloads on like okay anger lives in the spine and this is where people hang onto it and the more you suppress that anger the more it's gonna radiate out into your arms and it's gonna go all the way down your fingers or it's gonna like peripheralize into your leg.
- 28:08SPEAKER_00: Just these awarenesses of like why we get really bad headaches or like why our hip pain kind of gets stuck and and we can't kind of move through that.
- 28:17SPEAKER_00: So I kind of combine like my empathic abilities mostly that just kind of in and around that emotional energy and kind of where that's stored and stuck in the body and then just kind of like implying this real like metaphysical way of looking at it.
- 28:33SPEAKER_00: So your body's always communicating with you and helping you to understand where you're stuck on an emotional level or what pattern you're hanging on to or what core belief just isn't really working for you anymore.
- 28:47SPEAKER_00: And where that pain is showing up in your body, it tells you so much about what the actual cause is so the work that I've been doing with people is really starting from that emotional awareness first, using the breasts and using kind of those intuitive abilities to just get really clear on the story and just release it, integrate it, whatever you want to call it and then once that is cleared up and you're feeling better about that or at least you have a better understanding about it, I'm making it sound like it just happens in like one session it doesn't but then coming back and looking at the the mechanical aspects of what is presenting in your body and then supporting the physical body once you have gotten a really good understanding about some about like emotional and energetic heaviness that you might be holding.
- 29:33SPEAKER_00: Yeah so it's just kind of like bridging the gap between that emotional energetic and the physical body for just kind of more of this like integrative way of looking at how pain or dysfunction or discomfort or disease even is kind of showing up in the in the body.
- 29:51SPEAKER_01: Yeah that's amazing.
- 29:52SPEAKER_01: It's so interesting how usually like the careers that we choose are actually very much related to like what we're supposed to do, right?
- 30:02SPEAKER_01: But it's really interesting because I feel like before you did all this work like would you have known that you just naturally are able to know what emotions relate to what or like what traumas relate to like what parts of the body like no no and you just naturally know that like the fact that I can even call anxiety something different the fact that I can sit with my anger and learn from it and I'm gonna get emotional again because like these are life skills for me.
- 30:36SPEAKER_00: These are things that like I need I needed this information I needed to know how to do this in order to just like be myself.
- 30:44SPEAKER_01: Yeah yeah totally and I know I know that there's so many other people out there that are just like me oh my gosh definitely well there's no one quite like you but I know there's people who can relate to this but also like this is the thing that always blows my mind about the metamorphosis is this is what happens for people.
- 31:05SPEAKER_01: Like all of a sudden they're like oh I can do this thing right because you deal with all of the stuff that's getting in the way of you accessing that then you're able to access it.
- 31:18SPEAKER_01: So can you give us an example too of like different parts of the body and if you have chronic pain there, like what it might mean because I just think that's really interesting.
- 31:27SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 31:28SPEAKER_00: So chronic pain is technically classified as like any type of pain you'd you've had in the body for over six months.
- 31:35SPEAKER_00: So like on an orthopedic level like if you're just having like you have shoulder pain that won't go away or like you have headaches that won't go away when I tune into that it's a little bit different than like some of these pain syndromes that people will develop.
- 31:48SPEAKER_00: So if we look at like the lupus or an autoimmune issue or like a fibromyalgia some of these like umbrella terms for just like these pain syndromes oftentimes it's not all your stuff that you're carrying on.
- 32:02SPEAKER_00: Like I think a lot of these chronic pain syndromes it's really just about again it's like the metamorphosis of like the physical body like there's just so much that people are holding on to that really isn't there.
- 32:15SPEAKER_00: So it's looking at some of that ancestral trauma that you're hanging on to and just getting really clear on like why you feel the reason to like hang on to it.
- 32:26SPEAKER_00: The metaphysical aspect of like these orthopedic problems that show up I just geek out on them.
- 32:31SPEAKER_00: I always have I just think it's so fascinating.
- 32:34SPEAKER_00: So another lovely thing that has happened with the breath work is I don't have chronic headaches anymore.
- 32:40SPEAKER_00: I get them once in a while but I don't wake up with them every morning like I used to so and this doesn't go for everyone I kind of tune in specifically to to each client that I work with but a lot of my headaches had to do with my indecisiveness and my anger around that indecisiveness.
- 32:59SPEAKER_00: And it also a lot of my pain is coming from my neck and that had a lot to do with a relationship with my father and so just working through a lot of that has just I mean I get a headache now maybe like twice a month which is a huge deal for me.
- 33:14SPEAKER_00: Yeah I'm a physio I know how to massage my neck and I know what muscles irritate my head and I'm mindful of like how much I'm on my phone or on my computer.
- 33:25SPEAKER_00: But when I get a headache it's really just about like okay what is this about what do I need to tell myself and how do I want to move forward the physical body is only ever trying to just point you in the direction of self-compassion and self-love that's all the physical body is ever trying to like communicate to us is like how to move into that direction by what we need to release.
- 33:48SPEAKER_01: I totally agree and it's just it's just so crazy because we aren't really taught that at all.
- 33:55SPEAKER_01: We're taught the opposite of like okay well if you have a headache like take Advil or if you have or whatever like if anything hurts you just like take something to make it go away and it's just like dealing with symptoms and not really even having any understanding of what a symptom is and and how to deal with it.
- 34:15SPEAKER_01: So this is just like the complete opposite of what we were taught and also it's the real way that the body is trying to communicate with us.
- 34:24SPEAKER_01: And I think for you to be able to help people learn that language and be able to communicate with their body and understand that language is life changing because so many people deal with chronic pain and they just think it's like random or something.
- 34:42SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 34:42SPEAKER_00: It's always so fascinating to me like when you start just kind of diving into you know like well when did the pain start and how are you feeling at that time?
- 34:51SPEAKER_00: Like what was going on you know which you kind of get to a little bit in like traditional rehab but then you can't do anything with it.
- 35:00SPEAKER_00: Right.
- 35:01SPEAKER_00: You know what I mean?
- 35:02SPEAKER_00: And I think that's what made me a really good physio was that I would spend the hour we had for that initial assessment just like talking to my clients just to gain a better understanding about how they were doing on an emotional level and how they were doing on an energetic level without even real I didn't really know that that's what I was doing.
- 35:21SPEAKER_00: But I think just that talking was like super helpful for people.
- 35:25SPEAKER_01: Oh totally because and that's a thing that I always say too is like no one has anyone that actually like listens to them or is present with them in a real way.
- 35:35SPEAKER_01: So even just doing that is so powerful.
- 35:37SPEAKER_01: And that's like one of the reasons why the group is so powerful right to like to be able to share in a group and yeah can you talk about that a little bit too I forgot to mention that before just the energy of being in the metamorphosis group and even the metamorphosis method what is was that experience like for you to be a part of those groups I was so nervous at the beginning I don't know if you remember I was like I don't want to be here I don't belong here like I don't I don't need to be in a group what are you talking about but the energy of that group call and I've started doing it with my group programs it is just such a beautiful space of like love and sharing like it's just all of these women primarily women they all kind of have the same goal of how they want to feel and it's just the availability for those groups that you facilitate to just like hold space as like a whole like a bunch of people just holding space for you which I have found out is just my absolute love language like all I need for people to do is just like let me have an emotion and listen and give me a hug, you know so it the space is just like this virtual safe hug like every week.
- 36:52SPEAKER_00: And yeah like the friendships that I've made and the people that I've met who are on a similar path not just transitioning out of healthcare but just kind of navigating the same stuff.
- 37:04SPEAKER_00: Yeah it's been super helpful and I love creating that community with my business as well.
- 37:09SPEAKER_01: Yeah it's so powerful.
- 37:11SPEAKER_01: I mean I don't think I really even understood when I set out to do this and when I created the metamorphosis I had no idea the enormity of the group situation and how powerful it would be and how expansive and life changing it is for people.
- 37:28SPEAKER_01: There's something that happens when people share from a real place and have people witness them so much energy moves and so much changes.
- 37:39SPEAKER_00: Yeah which is the complete opposite of where I come from professionally you know what I mean where everything is just like everything is confidential and like you can't share anything I mean if the client allows me to share it, you know, but it's just kind of like the opposite the opposite of that.
- 37:56SPEAKER_01: So totally is there anything else that you just feel so happy that you don't have to deal with working and not working in healthcare anymore?
- 38:05SPEAKER_00: You know what I was thinking the other day I just got bombarded on an emotional level every day and the public system was was good in a way that I could kind of design my own schedule and do all my own stuff but like when I was working in private practice sometimes I would see like 30 people a day like for someone who didn't have good kind of like energetic boundaries really even physical boundaries let's be honest at that point I was so tired and I was so burnt out I just felt like that was normal.
- 38:36SPEAKER_00: So yeah that's just it's just not sustainable for anyone I definitely don't miss that and just I always had such high hopes for like community programming and like really helpful community programming especially when I was in public health and there's just so much talking that has to happen and like organizing from higher levels and it's just nothing was easy nothing was easy in that system zero easiness for anything.
- 39:05SPEAKER_01: They make it that way it's ridiculous.
- 39:07SPEAKER_01: Like in order to like get anything done you have to call like 55 different people wait on hold and then like by the time you get to the person they're like oh we sent you to the wrong person or like whatever the fuck it's so stupid I'm not ever going back to the doctor.
- 39:25SPEAKER_01: I'll take my kids to their like checkups because like you know I don't want to be accused of being neglectful or something but like I'm just like out of I'm I'm out yeah I don't see a point.
- 39:37SPEAKER_00: It's yeah it's difficult on purpose it's difficult for people for employees of the system and it's difficult for patients of the system.
- 39:46SPEAKER_01: So 100% okay so um is there anything else like anything else you want to share just about the program in general and your transformation?
- 39:56SPEAKER_00: Yeah I mean I come back to the breath work all the time.
- 40:01SPEAKER_01: I use it quite often it is like the ultimate tool in my wellness demon and how do you feel like it's helped you with because I know obviously you're a mom and all of that and do you feel like it's changed the way you are with your kids?
- 40:17SPEAKER_00: Oh my gosh totally because I have two extremely empathic children.
- 40:22SPEAKER_00: All children are empathic by the way there's not one kid who isn't yeah which you know begs the question we are all empathic and we all gave into this world that way but that's a that's a podcast episode for another day.
- 40:37SPEAKER_00: Yeah but oh it has completely changed the way well it has to I completely changed the way that I show up for myself so I've completely changed the way that I show up for my kids.
- 40:47SPEAKER_00: This I would argue that the way I was parenting was probably like the very first step in this wellness journey for me.
- 40:54SPEAKER_00: Like I've been on it for about you know the better part of 15 years but really setting an intention to just kind of like put myself first and sort all my all my shit like I said that it has made me the most like such a more present parent.
- 41:09SPEAKER_00: I have so much more emotional availability for my children which is like all that they need it's all that I need.
- 41:16SPEAKER_01: Yeah you know what I mean so yeah like I am so grateful for it uh from a parenting perspective and I would say my children are also oh I'm sure yeah and I always say like when we change our kids change because one of the most common questions I get is like oh my God am I fucking up my kids because once people start doing this work they're like oh my God I'm so afraid that I'm traumatizing my kids what do I do?
- 41:43SPEAKER_01: How do I fix this?
- 41:44SPEAKER_01: And I'm like all you have to do is do the work and things will change like because your kids feel it and they change because they are all our kids do is respond to our energy and like our kids will reflect back to us the stuff that we need to heal.
- 42:00SPEAKER_01: So like as we heal like their behavior problems will stop and their energy will become more stabilized.
- 42:07SPEAKER_01: So it's like it's really just a crazy thing because like you really don't have to do anything and your kids will just get better and better.
- 42:15SPEAKER_01: And the other thing too is like we're not passing on the ancestral trauma which is a huge gift for them.
- 42:22SPEAKER_00: Yeah I mean I am not perfect by any means and I apologize to my children all the time.
- 42:27SPEAKER_01: Me too oh my God me too yeah and I'm always like pleasantly surprised by like the choices I make like my parenting choices I'm like good for you Kate that was a yeah totally I mean it's it's so hard like especially as they get older and they like ask questions we were driving in the car and you know we live in the cities there's like a lot of homeless people and people like walk up to your car and like ask for money or they have signs or whatever.
- 42:59SPEAKER_01: And every so often Levi will be like why aren't we giving them money you know like why don't you give them money like he'll always be like you have a lot of money mom why don't you give them money like I don't know where like he has this idea that I have all this I mean obviously I'm making money but it's just funny because he's like you have all this money and he goes why aren't you giving them money and I was like well you know sometimes people that are asking for money they're just gonna use it for drugs so I don't want to always want to give them money and he's like what are drugs and I was like oh um how do I answer that question I feel like I'm always like at these moments where I'm like how do I answer that and like how do I answer that in a way that I'll be happy later that I answered it that way.
- 43:43SPEAKER_01: You know what I mean?
- 43:44SPEAKER_01: Like it's like I give them a lot I'm just like um ask me tomorrow.
- 43:49SPEAKER_01: Yes or like we'll talk about that later.
- 43:52SPEAKER_01: You know like we were on we were in Disneyland and I was like in a line for a ride with my nephew and my two Kids and just me.
- 44:01SPEAKER_01: And like out of nowhere, Levi asked me how women get pregnant.
- 44:07SPEAKER_00: My daughter's been on that.
- 44:08SPEAKER_00: How old is Levi?
- 44:09SPEAKER_00: He's eight.
- 44:10SPEAKER_00: Yeah, Ellis is seven.
- 44:12SPEAKER_00: She's been on that.
- 44:12SPEAKER_00: Like, it's like 9 30.
- 44:14SPEAKER_00: It's like it's so past bedtime.
- 44:16SPEAKER_00: And she's just like, what happens again?
- 44:18SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 44:19SPEAKER_01: I'm I didn't, and I'm like literally in a line and like a roller coaster line.
- 44:24SPEAKER_01: I was like, we'll talk about that later.
- 44:27SPEAKER_01: Say like read the room.
- 44:30SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 44:31SPEAKER_01: But anyway, so yeah, it's hard and it's not we're gonna be perfect, but like once you know how to navigate your own emotions and navigate your own energy, things just get better and life just gets easier.
- 44:45SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 44:45SPEAKER_00: I also do a ton of energy work on my kids.
- 44:48SPEAKER_00: Me too.
- 44:49SPEAKER_00: And it's just I didn't read a book about it.
- 44:52SPEAKER_00: I didn't, you know what I mean?
- 44:54SPEAKER_00: Like, and it's so helpful for them before bed and like before they go to their dads.
- 45:00SPEAKER_00: And I'm even like when they're at their dad's, I'll do some work on them before I go to bed.
- 45:05SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's amazing.
- 45:06SPEAKER_01: I know I always do that stuff too.
- 45:08SPEAKER_01: Um, so the only other thing I wanted to ask you about is just a little bit about the metamorphosis method, too, because I know you're in that too, and how that's kind of impacted you and also impacted the work that you're doing now.
- 45:20SPEAKER_00: Yeah, so as I kind of figured it would, when you start with the emotional body and the energetic body, and you set an intention.
- 45:30SPEAKER_00: This is clients and myself, you set an intention just to start like wading through some of these heavier emotions that you're identifying.
- 45:37SPEAKER_00: Stuff always comes up about like the family, right?
- 45:41SPEAKER_00: Like either the relationship with the dad or the mom.
- 45:44SPEAKER_00: So that work that I've already done and the work that I'm doing with you now in the certification program.
- 45:51SPEAKER_00: I've just kind of started doing a bit of that work with my clients.
- 45:54SPEAKER_00: I'm just like so eager to like like dive in.
- 45:58SPEAKER_00: I'm just like, you don't know how helpful this is.
- 45:59SPEAKER_00: It's like so helpful.
- 46:01SPEAKER_00: And I just am so here for it.
- 46:03SPEAKER_00: Like, I have so much availability to just like hold that space for people.
- 46:08SPEAKER_00: And uh yeah, so that's been hugely helpful.
- 46:12SPEAKER_00: And I've just been able to really tune into you know, where people hang on to that familial trauma in their body, and it it comes back to the spine a lot.
- 46:22SPEAKER_00: And I'm I'm working on developing some stuff for that, but um, it's just so fascinating to me.
- 46:28SPEAKER_00: And every time I get like another download or another like bing, I'm just like, oh my gosh, that makes so much sense.
- 46:33SPEAKER_00: Yeah, of course.
- 46:34SPEAKER_00: And then I see it play out.
- 46:36SPEAKER_01: Yeah, well, I remember you said to me you were like, like when when you were talking about joining the program, you were like, I feel like I can see where like the mother wound is held in the body, and I was like, What?
- 46:50SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's so cool.
- 46:52SPEAKER_00: First of all, where is it held in the body?
- 46:54SPEAKER_00: The mother is in the thoracic spine, so just in the mid-back, which is where we carry all emotional shit, right?
- 47:02SPEAKER_00: Like when you're just like you don't know and you're so overwhelmed, you're just gonna feel in your mid back, like, you know what I mean?
- 47:10SPEAKER_00: Just like overwhelmed.
- 47:12SPEAKER_00: And I would kind of like low-key be tuning into this stuff when I was working in traditional rehab.
- 47:18SPEAKER_00: It was amazing to me.
- 47:20SPEAKER_00: I had all I saw in public health in Canada was like surgeries, like post-op stuff.
- 47:26SPEAKER_00: Uh, and I had like seven women on my caseload who had all had right knee replacements, and five of them had just lost their husbands to like a terminal illness.
- 47:37SPEAKER_00: Just like, this is not a coincidence.
- 47:40SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's definitely not a coincidence.
- 47:42SPEAKER_00: That's crazy.
- 47:43SPEAKER_00: I know.
- 47:44SPEAKER_00: Wow.
- 47:44SPEAKER_00: Or like I used to do a lot of work in pediatrics, and just how I saw how a lot of my anxiety manifested in my son, and I'm not blaming myself, and I am not, this is not about blaming moms.
- 47:55SPEAKER_00: But I was just like, oh my gosh, your kid is just really hanging on to a lot of your your stuff right now.
- 48:01SPEAKER_00: Well, I want to take the mom and like do some work with her.
- 48:04SPEAKER_00: Oh, like your kid just needs to color.
- 48:06SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 48:07SPEAKER_00: You know what I mean?
- 48:08SPEAKER_00: Anyway, yeah, it's just so I love just kind of like working to put all this stuff together.
- 48:12SPEAKER_01: And yeah, I love that too.
- 48:14SPEAKER_01: Cause that's so true.
- 48:15SPEAKER_01: Cause that like my work as a school counselor, obviously I was working with kids, but then when you would like meet the parent, you're like everything just kind of clicks.
- 48:23SPEAKER_01: You're just like, oh, this is why you're this way.
- 48:26SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I would do a lot of those treatments all together.
- 48:30SPEAKER_00: And oftentimes, because they were young kids, both spouses would be there.
- 48:35SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 48:37SPEAKER_00: It was so fascinating to me.
- 48:39SPEAKER_00: I also love kids.
- 48:40SPEAKER_00: Like, I'm the parent, not the birthday party, like playing with the children.
- 48:45SPEAKER_01: Yeah, I love that.
- 48:46SPEAKER_01: Lots of dynamics to work through if you want to, right?
- 48:50SPEAKER_01: If you well, if you want your life to get better.
- 48:52SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 48:53SPEAKER_01: Yes.
- 48:54SPEAKER_01: So true.
- 48:56SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 48:56SPEAKER_01: So then can you just explain like how you're working with people now?
- 49:01SPEAKER_01: I know you have a group program and then you work with people one-on-one, but can you tell us a little more about that?
- 49:06SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 49:06SPEAKER_00: So I have started developing these shorter kind of four to eight-week programs in and around how pain may show up, how to kind of navigate that on a physical, emotional, and energetic level.
- 49:18SPEAKER_00: So I just finished up my one course now that I have live all around the respiratory diaphragm, and that's a heavy place for crazy emotions.
- 49:27SPEAKER_00: So yeah, it just kind of breaks down working through that on every level.
- 49:32SPEAKER_00: We just finished that up.
- 49:33SPEAKER_00: It was so lovely.
- 49:34SPEAKER_00: It was just like the best group of women, and it was your first group, right?
- 49:39SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it was really respected, which is really nice.
- 49:43SPEAKER_00: And I still offer just single off-breath sessions, which I really enjoy doing.
- 49:48SPEAKER_00: And then I've just launched like an integrative wellness one-on-one, three-month coaching container where I really dive into specifically kind of like what is going on for you and with you, and around how pain is showing up.
- 50:04SPEAKER_00: And that has been primarily so far more around chronic pain.
- 50:07SPEAKER_00: But I mean, on paper, I had chronic pain, but I didn't have a diagnosis.
- 50:12SPEAKER_00: You know what I mean?
- 50:13SPEAKER_00: And that's another thing about the healthcare system that I could just talk forever about, which I won't.
- 50:17SPEAKER_00: But I identified with chronic pain as like my headaches for sure, but then like this crazy heaviness in the body.
- 50:23SPEAKER_00: So I talk a lot about that too.
- 50:25SPEAKER_00: How emotional, like we all feel emotions in our body, and sometimes we don't know the difference.
- 50:30SPEAKER_00: So many times people will come in and I'd be like, I don't really, I can't see a mechanical problem going on here that would explain your pain pattern.
- 50:38SPEAKER_00: These are the people that I'm like, come to me, like I want to work with you.
- 50:42SPEAKER_00: You know what I mean?
- 50:43SPEAKER_00: Totally.
- 50:44SPEAKER_00: Where a lot of people in traditional healthcare are like, eh, I don't know what's wrong with you.
- 50:48SPEAKER_00: Sorry.
- 50:48SPEAKER_00: Like, I don't understand energy.
- 50:50SPEAKER_01: Sorry.
- 50:51SPEAKER_01: Come to me.
- 50:52SPEAKER_01: I'll help you.
- 50:52SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 50:53SPEAKER_01: Happily.
- 50:54SPEAKER_01: That's awesome.
- 50:55SPEAKER_01: Well, yes, and you're amazing at it.
- 50:58SPEAKER_01: And sometimes the things you say like just like blow my mind.
- 51:00SPEAKER_01: I'm like, oh wow.
- 51:02SPEAKER_01: I feel like you eventually need to write a book about what all the different pain is in the book.
- 51:07SPEAKER_00: Well, I do love my words, so that is probably yeah.
- 51:10SPEAKER_01: Oh, definitely.
- 51:11SPEAKER_01: I can definitely see that in the cards.
- 51:13SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 51:13SPEAKER_01: So, and then where can people find you?
- 51:16SPEAKER_00: I'm on uh social media, on Instagram.
- 51:19SPEAKER_00: It's K-O-R-E underscore breath.
- 51:23SPEAKER_00: Um, I'm on Facebook just under my name, Kate Crawford, and I have a website, a brand new website that I'm super proud of that took me forever to get out.
- 51:32SPEAKER_00: And it's core k-o-re-wellness.ca, because I am in Canada.
- 51:38SPEAKER_01: Cool.
- 51:38SPEAKER_01: Well, we'll link that all below.
- 51:39SPEAKER_01: Thank you so much.
- 51:40SPEAKER_01: And for our very last question for you, what is a non-negotiable when it comes to fully reclaiming your consciousness?
- 51:49SPEAKER_00: Oh, non-negotiable.
- 51:51SPEAKER_00: You just need to find a way, whatever way it is that works for you, to just be in your body and just listen and know unapologetically, like who you are and like what you need, and just this place that you can just kind of keep coming back to.
- 52:06SPEAKER_00: It is the best thing ever.
- 52:07SPEAKER_01: I a hundred percent agree with that.
- 52:09SPEAKER_01: I love that.
- 52:10SPEAKER_01: Thank you so much.
