- 0:00Speaker 1: From Hollywood.
- 0:01Speaker 2: See you, thank you for listening to us.
- 0:03Speaker 3: Ryan Seacraft on Air On Air.
- 0:06Speaker 1: With a Ryan Seacrest.
- 0:09Speaker 2: Hi, Sandra, Hi, how are you? I'm good. How are
- 0:14Speaker 2: you doing?
- 0:15Speaker 4: Oh?
- 0:16Speaker 5: Just hanging in there?
- 0:19Speaker 2: Okay, it sounds like there's something going on. I'm reading
- 0:22Speaker 2: on the call screen. It says, here, you don't want
- 0:25Speaker 2: to invite your friend to your book club?
- 0:27Speaker 6: Go on?
- 0:28Speaker 2: Mm hmmm, Well she's not.
- 0:30Speaker 5: Even really my friend. Essentially, a friend of mine had
- 0:34Speaker 5: one of her friends just move here, and she's just
- 0:37Speaker 5: been inviting her to hang out wherever we go so
- 0:39Speaker 5: that she can meet new people. And at first I
- 0:42Speaker 5: didn't mind, because I think that's a really nice thing
- 0:44Speaker 5: to do. But now that I'm getting the chance to
- 0:47Speaker 5: know her, I'm realizing I really do not like her.
- 0:50Speaker 5: Like she's just really opinionated and like argumentative and just
- 0:56Speaker 5: downright obnoxious, if I'm being honest. So the issue that
- 1:00Speaker 5: I calling in about is that my friend told her
- 1:05Speaker 5: about the book club that I'm part of and suggested
- 1:08Speaker 5: that she come with us to the book club, and
- 1:11Speaker 5: now she won't leave me alone about it, and I
- 1:13Speaker 5: don't want her to come. We're a laid back group.
- 1:16Speaker 5: We just like to read fine romance books, and I
- 1:19Speaker 5: just know that she's going to ruin the vibe. So
- 1:22Speaker 5: I don't really know how to like disinvite her or
- 1:25Speaker 5: kind of communicate that I just genuinely do not like
- 1:27Speaker 5: this girl.
- 1:29Speaker 2: Technical question, Do you get credit for listening to the book?
- 1:33Speaker 1: Good question?
- 1:35Speaker 5: That is a good question.
- 1:36Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:37Speaker 1: Yeah, Oh then I could join your book club?
- 1:39Speaker 2: Yeah, because telling people I'm reading all these books, but
- 1:42Speaker 2: I'm just listening to I'm an audio girl.
- 1:45Speaker 6: I do that sometimes too.
- 1:47Speaker 2: Two paths here, standard number one. I think life goes
- 1:51Speaker 2: on without you being in a book club. Not going
- 1:53Speaker 2: to be the end of the world. So you could
- 1:55Speaker 2: either just exodus the book club. But why does she
- 1:57Speaker 2: have to leave? I'm not buying. Get two options, or
- 2:02Speaker 2: or you have a conversation with this person and tell
- 2:04Speaker 2: them they don't fit in, not by other members of
- 2:09Speaker 2: the book club, or say you say you're at your
- 2:12Speaker 2: cap only six people are allowed to the book club.
- 2:14Speaker 1: And she said it's so petty. I kind of like that.
- 2:19Speaker 7: No, no, no, I think you just need to suck
- 2:24Speaker 7: it up. There's a lot of bigger issues happening in
- 2:27Speaker 7: our city, around the world, Like this is not going
- 2:30Speaker 7: to make or break you be the bigger person.
- 2:33Speaker 1: Let her in the club and move on with it.
- 2:35Speaker 2: I'm not sucking it up. It's my free time. I
- 2:37Speaker 2: want to be with people. I like, she's out, there's
- 2:39Speaker 2: a cap of six people.
- 2:41Speaker 7: Maybe she comes around on you, like she changes your
- 2:44Speaker 7: mind of how you feel about it.
- 2:46Speaker 1: People have done that to me.
- 2:47Speaker 7: I used to be very judgmental sometimes the people that
- 2:49Speaker 7: I thought I was like, oh no, I definitely don't
- 2:50Speaker 7: like that person, and then I hung out with them
- 2:53Speaker 7: in a forced situation because they were invited to a
- 2:55Speaker 7: birthday party or a weekend trip, and I was like, wow,
- 2:58Speaker 7: I really actually like you.
- 2:59Speaker 2: So and his name was Michael Sandra. I think you
- 3:06Speaker 2: have a path. There two paths, Suck it up or
- 3:09Speaker 2: cap it out. It's the book you're reading right now.
- 3:13Speaker 5: Right now, I'm reading a Court of a Court of
- 3:16Speaker 5: thorn Roses.
- 3:18Speaker 2: Yeah, and I haven't read that myself. Neither have I.
- 3:21Speaker 2: I'm reading that book by what's her name? Just let
- 3:25Speaker 2: them say yes or something?
- 3:26Speaker 1: That book, oh, Mel Robbins, Let them.
- 3:30Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm reading let them by Mel. You are.
- 3:35Speaker 5: I've been using her wake up method of the five
- 3:38Speaker 5: four three two one.
- 3:39Speaker 6: And it works.
- 3:40Speaker 2: Yeah, she's great, she's great. Just let him bless you. Yeah,
- 3:47Speaker 2: I'm reading that book.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Let them, Let's get her on.
- 3:51Speaker 2: Have you read it enough? Like the cover?
- 3:57Speaker 1: Yeah, Like, we'll listen to a lot of her podcast,
- 4:00Speaker 1: et cetera.
- 4:03Speaker 2: Let them. It's a let them theory. It's a life
- 4:05Speaker 2: changing tool actually that millions of people can't stop talking about.
- 4:09Speaker 8: It's really a simple, simple, simple modo phrased in such
- 4:13Speaker 8: a fabulous way that it really packs a punch.
- 4:17Speaker 2: If you can do it, If you can do it,
- 4:20Speaker 2: let them one A two point seven kiss FM. It
- 4:24Speaker 2: is Seacrest with you. Isn't it amazing if you have
- 4:27Speaker 2: not had your coffee and then you have it, and
- 4:29Speaker 2: how the day just changes? Yes, it is mine was
- 4:32Speaker 2: perfect this morning. Not tempted to put almond milk in it,
- 4:36Speaker 2: a regular milk or sweetener or anything. Just you ever know,
- 4:40Speaker 2: but as a as a young remember, as a young
- 4:44Speaker 2: DJ who had who had the awful task of me,
- 4:47Speaker 2: let me get all of our coffee.
- 4:48Speaker 9: Me.
- 4:50Speaker 1: I know Ryan Seacrest through his.
- 4:52Speaker 2: Evolution, wasn't just me everyone, true.
- 4:55Speaker 1: True, true? But I know you through the evolution of
- 4:58Speaker 1: your coffee order.
- 5:00Speaker 2: What was the best era the best era was.
- 5:03Speaker 1: When you were in your Manuka Honey era, because he
- 5:08Speaker 1: was like it.
- 5:09Speaker 8: Was when he was dating you know who, and he
- 5:10Speaker 8: was like all in his Machia era and we had
- 5:12Speaker 8: to put like Manuka honey in it and you had
- 5:14Speaker 8: to make.
- 5:14Speaker 9: It like.
- 5:18Speaker 1: Terrifying. You get it right?
- 5:20Speaker 2: Yeah, that one was like the worst.
- 5:23Speaker 1: The rest were very easy because it was like a
- 5:24Speaker 1: black coffee era.
- 5:25Speaker 2: I learned about all that stuff through that person. In
- 5:27Speaker 2: that era, I would not even know about Manuka.
- 5:30Speaker 8: They're like a Splendistivia era.
- 5:32Speaker 2: And I read about that.
- 5:34Speaker 1: You're a water snob like all these things.
- 5:37Speaker 2: A chameleon.
- 5:38Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, you're sagittarius adjacent.
- 5:43Speaker 1: Oh interesting?
- 5:45Speaker 2: What does the sagittarius adjacent mean?
- 5:47Speaker 8: They like morph into whoever they're dating, like they take
- 5:49Speaker 8: on some of their things.
- 5:51Speaker 1: What are you or cancer?
- 5:53Speaker 2: Cancer?
- 5:53Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 5:54Speaker 2: So what is it with you and your cancers?
- 5:55Speaker 5: What?
- 5:56Speaker 2: What's the deal with cancers in their cars? Why do
- 5:58Speaker 2: cancers in their cars have to be such a battle?
- 6:00Speaker 9: Oh?
- 6:01Speaker 2: What is it?
- 6:02Speaker 1: I don't think it's just me.
- 6:03Speaker 2: I think is what has happened?
- 6:05Speaker 1: Oh you want me to tell you what? This is time?
- 6:08Speaker 1: This is age?
- 6:10Speaker 2: Oh can't say a word.
- 6:12Speaker 1: This is what it is.
- 6:14Speaker 7: In our twenties, we didn't care about stuff like this,
- 6:17Speaker 7: but now and you're like, who's parking in front of
- 6:19Speaker 7: my house?
- 6:19Speaker 2: Like who is that?
- 6:20Speaker 1: You look through the window. They're parking in my parking spot.
- 6:25Speaker 1: It's like, that's my spot on our street, Like.
- 6:28Speaker 2: It is sorry, is it the street or is it.
- 6:31Speaker 1: It's the public street? But this is where I parked.
- 6:34Speaker 1: I have been parking my car.
- 6:35Speaker 8: Every day there for the past three years of my life.
- 6:38Speaker 8: And it's on the border of my house and our
- 6:41Speaker 8: neighbor's house. So it's like it's not in front of
- 6:44Speaker 8: our house because someone.
- 6:45Speaker 2: Else now is parking in that spot and that in
- 6:47Speaker 2: that space of public street.
- 6:49Speaker 8: Yes, And so then I got all nostrils flare. Yeah,
- 6:55Speaker 8: so scept by this that I then started parking in
- 6:58Speaker 8: front of my neighbor's house because that's.
- 7:00Speaker 2: Going to show him you move yourself over there.
- 7:02Speaker 1: So then he came in front of my house because.
- 7:04Speaker 2: He's older than you are age.
- 7:08Speaker 8: It's totally And now I'm in this battle with this
- 7:11Speaker 8: car that's next to me, and it's this neighbor and
- 7:17Speaker 8: like we have this neighbor that just keeps rotating, like
- 7:21Speaker 8: I don't know if it's like a lease in this house,
- 7:23Speaker 8: but like they just can't you park in front of
- 7:24Speaker 8: your house because I like to look outside the window and.
- 7:28Speaker 2: Not well, just FYI, I think if you go to
- 7:34Speaker 2: the handbook on this, you should most approbably park in
- 7:37Speaker 2: front of your own space, not clear the way so
- 7:40Speaker 2: you take you're actually ball hogging the street. No, you
- 7:42Speaker 2: want to clear gap in front of your bay window,
- 7:45Speaker 2: and you also want to park ye conveniently close to
- 7:48Speaker 2: your home.
- 7:48Speaker 8: Yes, but I am technically still on my property with
- 7:52Speaker 8: just like a tail into there.
- 7:54Speaker 2: This is so beautiful. But since he made a good point,
- 7:58Speaker 2: this is the beginning of all a complaining that's gonna
- 8:01Speaker 2: come with age, because I do it all the time.
- 8:04Speaker 7: You complain because the neighbor next door doesn't mow their
- 8:06Speaker 7: lawn enough, what's.
- 8:07Speaker 2: Taking so long? Why are you walking on my lawn?
- 8:09Speaker 2: All the things that you get to complain about. This hurts.
- 8:13Speaker 1: I'm not a complainer, But like.
- 8:16Speaker 2: Spot, Oh, that's this is a beautiful moment.
- 8:20Speaker 1: Evolve, evolve into it, or just look.
- 8:22Speaker 2: At your own car. Oh, I've never seen your nostrils flare.
- 8:30Speaker 2: That was fun.
- 8:32Speaker 8: Like my dog likes to sit out there and like,
- 8:34Speaker 8: watch the animals.
- 8:36Speaker 2: You know what animals are running through your neighbor girls,
- 8:42Speaker 2: what kind of zoology is coming through the hood? There
- 8:45Speaker 2: is that a camel Claudia, good morning? How are you?
- 8:53Speaker 2: Good morning? I'm good, how are you? Well? We're here
- 8:57Speaker 2: to help, I could say that. So your chiropractor is
- 9:01Speaker 2: doing what? H So it's getting very weird.
- 9:05Speaker 6: I've been having some.
- 9:06Speaker 10: Back issues and I've gone to a couple of different places.
- 9:10Speaker 10: None of it's really doing much until I finally meet
- 9:12Speaker 10: this guy. It's been going really well. I'm in much
- 9:15Speaker 10: better place with my back and the pain that.
- 9:17Speaker 2: I've been having.
- 9:19Speaker 10: But now he found me on Instagram and he's been
- 9:22Speaker 10: dming me. He's been sending me really inappropriate memes. He's
- 9:27Speaker 10: just it's getting a little sketchy. And then I also
- 9:30Speaker 10: realized that he's married. So I'm not sure what to do.
- 9:33Speaker 10: I don't really want to switch chiropractors, but this is
- 9:36Speaker 10: getting a little uncomfortable.
- 9:38Speaker 2: What are the means that he's sending you?
- 9:42Speaker 1: Oh?
- 9:42Speaker 10: Well, he's sending me like stuff like if we're like
- 9:45Speaker 10: going on vacation together, like just like stuff like level
- 9:49Speaker 10: go to like the beach and like but it's like
- 9:51Speaker 10: stuff like I don't even know how to explain it.
- 9:54Speaker 2: It's just it.
- 9:55Speaker 10: It's random, very random, because it's like people and being
- 10:00Speaker 10: suits and like people kind of stretching, and he's like,
- 10:03Speaker 10: this could be us, like people stretching on the beach
- 10:05Speaker 10: and saying like this could be us.
- 10:07Speaker 2: And does he say any of this stuff when you're
- 10:09Speaker 2: getting your adjustment?
- 10:12Speaker 10: Well, I haven't seen him lately since he started getting
- 10:15Speaker 10: a little more aggressive, but I'm due to go back
- 10:18Speaker 10: this week and I am just really debating if I'm
- 10:21Speaker 10: gonna go or not. My back had felt this good
- 10:24Speaker 10: in a while, and I don't know if it's because
- 10:25Speaker 10: he's taken a liking.
- 10:26Speaker 6: To me or if he's just good. But these means
- 10:30Speaker 6: of people on the beach kind.
- 10:32Speaker 10: Of stretching each other out is really uncomfortable, especially because
- 10:36Speaker 10: now I'm realizing he's married.
- 10:38Speaker 2: So I think there's two options here. A quit him,
- 10:41Speaker 2: or B tell him that he's being inappropriate and you're
- 10:44Speaker 2: gonna quit him if he doesn't.
- 10:45Speaker 1: Stop, or se tell his wife. Okay, I didn't know
- 10:50Speaker 1: what you're seeing with.
- 10:55Speaker 2: This direction. She was going to go with that scene,
- 10:59Speaker 2: Sea was going.
- 10:59Speaker 10: To go, uh yeah, if you're the other layer to
- 11:03Speaker 10: it is that I'm also married, and I don't know
- 11:06Speaker 10: if I should tell my husband about this.
- 11:07Speaker 1: Yeah, tell your husband. You don't want to keep this
- 11:11Speaker 1: between you. I don't know you were married.
- 11:13Speaker 7: This is weird and it's very unprofessional, and I would
- 11:16Speaker 7: be out that door.
- 11:18Speaker 2: He should lose his chiropractic license.
- 11:22Speaker 10: Do you think it's worth seeing someone else in the practice?
- 11:26Speaker 10: But I still have to cross him.
- 11:28Speaker 1: I don't know. I think there's so many great carent
- 11:31Speaker 1: Where do you live. I can find you a great chiropractor.
- 11:33Speaker 2: I could break your back.
- 11:34Speaker 10: I'll do the research for you.
- 11:37Speaker 6: Like that that He's like, I could this could be us,
- 11:39Speaker 6: Like I thought.
- 11:40Speaker 2: Here's here's one thing you got to learn in life.
- 11:42Speaker 2: When something like this is happening and you're uncomfortable, you
- 11:46Speaker 2: you address it and don't feel bad about or you
- 11:49Speaker 2: just stop going. But once you address it and you
- 11:50Speaker 2: see another person in the practice, you'll feel bad about
- 11:53Speaker 2: that cares. Just move on, don't carry any guilt about it.
- 11:57Speaker 1: This is the guy's making.
- 12:00Speaker 2: This is not okay, Cladie, thank you so much for listening.
- 12:04Speaker 2: Good good luck, thank you all right bye? I mean
- 12:09Speaker 2: massage therapists doctors, dentists, chiropractors. You gotta have that wall
- 12:15Speaker 2: of real professionalism. You can ever make it seem like
- 12:19Speaker 2: you're there's something else going on.
- 12:21Speaker 1: Yeah, but also, like, what if you're a single dentist
- 12:24Speaker 1: but you can still be friends.
- 12:25Speaker 7: I'm still friends with my dentist and we follow each
- 12:28Speaker 7: other on Instagram and there's nothing inappropriate.
- 12:29Speaker 8: What if you're a dentist and you're single and the
- 12:32Speaker 8: love of your life sits down in your chair, are
- 12:35Speaker 8: you not supposed to act upon that?
- 12:39Speaker 2: No?
- 12:39Speaker 1: You technically no, it's against your license.
- 12:41Speaker 2: You're not supposed to hit on your partner or your partner,
- 12:45Speaker 2: your patient.
- 12:47Speaker 1: Yeah, dentists want love too, well, so do I.
- 12:51Speaker 2: But I'm not hitting on everybody comes in here.
- 12:56Speaker 9: You have.
- 13:01Speaker 2: That was one time and we dated for three years.
- 13:04Speaker 8: I'm saying though, like, just because you have a certain
- 13:07Speaker 8: job doesn't mean like if the love of your life
- 13:09Speaker 8: walks and you shouldn't act on it.
- 13:10Speaker 2: But the fact that this got married, she acted on it. Listen.
- 13:15Speaker 1: Tomato, tomato, tomato, potato, potato.
- 13:19Speaker 2: So did you grab a cucumber? If you didn't grab
- 13:22Speaker 2: a cucumber, go to your fridge. If you're still home,
- 13:25Speaker 2: open up the crisper and pull out that cucumber. Look
- 13:29Speaker 2: at it. Just think about that cucumber. How many different
- 13:31Speaker 2: things that cucumber can become and be and do. You
- 13:35Speaker 2: can slice it, you can chop it, you can put
- 13:37Speaker 2: some dill and addressing in it. Oh, you can pickle it.
- 13:42Speaker 1: You can put some lemon and salt on it. I
- 13:43Speaker 1: do like a cucumber salad.
- 13:45Speaker 2: So later this morning, Uh, when we all have stale breath,
- 13:49Speaker 2: and we do, I think who in the studio, Mark, Tanya, myself,
- 13:55Speaker 2: Tubs Sysney is most likely to have stale breath.
- 13:58Speaker 7: Later I don't know because I don't get close enough
- 14:02Speaker 7: to them to really sniff them out.
- 14:05Speaker 1: You know, I'll admit it. Sometimes a breath can be
- 14:07Speaker 1: a little steel. Great, you're great.
- 14:15Speaker 2: So here's the trick.
- 14:16Speaker 1: Must admit it.
- 14:17Speaker 8: But like, yeah, after coffee and then we're talking, it's.
- 14:19Speaker 1: Like, yeah, I can drink coffee every day.
- 14:22Speaker 2: Yeah, all right, here's the trick. If you think you
- 14:26Speaker 2: have bad breath, or you want to tell somebody they do.
- 14:28Speaker 2: Here's the secret. The cucumber. That cucumber is not just
- 14:33Speaker 2: to make a salad out of. Simply place a slice
- 14:37Speaker 2: of cucumber. On the roof of your mouth, right up
- 14:42Speaker 2: top for thirty seconds. Let it sit there, let it
- 14:47Speaker 2: dissolve a little bit. Then lower it to your tongue
- 14:50Speaker 2: and chew it and swallow it. It is sucked out
- 14:53Speaker 2: all of the holotosis. That is so cool.
- 14:55Speaker 1: I want to try it.
- 14:56Speaker 2: It's so cool. I've never heard of it, but I'm
- 15:00Speaker 2: definitely gonna try it too, because it's so easy. Yeah, fight,
- 15:04Speaker 2: bab bruh.
- 15:05Speaker 9: All right.
- 15:05Speaker 2: Today's quote we do a quote every day, and today's
- 15:07Speaker 2: quote is there is no trophy that says they pretended
- 15:11Speaker 2: to be okay when they weren't. Right, Okay, good. I
- 15:17Speaker 2: was waiting for the read. Yeah, I didn't really get.
- 15:19Speaker 1: It, but okay, I get it.
- 15:21Speaker 2: I get you get it.
- 15:22Speaker 1: Right as one of us gets it.
- 15:23Speaker 2: Yeah, home right exactly. I mean I'm just playing for
- 15:26Speaker 2: one person, even one audience person out there, listener one
- 15:30Speaker 2: of two point seven em it's it. The Headlines Tanya
- 15:34Speaker 2: FM Headlines with Tanya rad House.
- 15:36Speaker 8: Democrats launched a new system to track possible misconduct during
- 15:40Speaker 8: federal immigration enforcement operations. A cow Fresh program that gives
- 15:44Speaker 8: families extra money for fruits and vegetables is back just
- 15:48Speaker 8: in time. For the Holidays, Dodgers show Hey Otani will
- 15:51Speaker 8: play for Team Japan in the twenty twenty six World
- 15:54Speaker 8: Baseball Classic this coming March, and Billie Eilish's three D
- 15:58Speaker 8: concert documentary will officially your theaters on March twentieth.
- 16:02Speaker 2: Matt, how are you in Torrance? Hey?
- 16:04Speaker 11: Ryan?
- 16:04Speaker 2: I'm good. How are you, hey? Brother? Thanks for asking,
- 16:07Speaker 2: I'm solid. Thank you so much for being on with us.
- 16:10Speaker 2: So I understand that you were asked to be a
- 16:12Speaker 2: groomsman for a wedding.
- 16:15Speaker 6: Yeah, I was.
- 16:18Speaker 2: And what's the bad news?
- 16:19Speaker 4: Awesome awesome scenario. The bad news is it's with my
- 16:26Speaker 4: ex girlfriend's sister. My buddy's getting married to max girlfriend's
- 16:30Speaker 4: sister obviously, like I know, like you know, they met
- 16:33Speaker 4: because of me, and like you know, I'm not there
- 16:35Speaker 4: for my ex, but you know, I'm gonna be around
- 16:39Speaker 4: her and her family a lot more than I was
- 16:42Speaker 4: hoping to now that have been as to be.
- 16:43Speaker 2: Part of the wedding party. So I mean, I don't
- 16:45Speaker 2: I don't know what to do.
- 16:46Speaker 4: My girlfriend's obviously not happy about it.
- 16:48Speaker 2: And Bro, you dated your ex while your buddy dated
- 16:53Speaker 2: her sister.
- 16:55Speaker 4: They met, they met while we were together.
- 16:57Speaker 2: That's awesome.
- 16:58Speaker 6: They stayed they stayed together.
- 17:01Speaker 2: But that's how great was that for a while?
- 17:03Speaker 1: Yeah, it's not there anymore.
- 17:05Speaker 2: Yeah, but for a minute, that's like what you want.
- 17:09Speaker 1: Yeah, that would have been great.
- 17:10Speaker 2: Hey bro, hey, bros, sister.
- 17:14Speaker 4: My girlfriend potentially listening.
- 17:16Speaker 2: But all right, well thank you?
- 17:18Speaker 1: Well can I ask? I mean, this is going to
- 17:20Speaker 1: get a little personal. But how did it end?
- 17:22Speaker 9: Like it?
- 17:23Speaker 1: Did it end bad? Do you not want to see
- 17:24Speaker 1: the family? Do they hate you?
- 17:26Speaker 4: I mean, of course, I mean it didn't end that badly,
- 17:29Speaker 4: like you know, it's just like you know, RAN's of course,
- 17:31Speaker 4: it's not like you know, like either of us as
- 17:33Speaker 4: far as I know, cheated, but you know, flame burnt
- 17:37Speaker 4: out and you know, okay.
- 17:38Speaker 2: So that's not parent everything doesn't and badly you are
- 17:42Speaker 2: the worst breaker up for then nicely.
- 17:46Speaker 1: I wanted to know specifically if there.
- 17:47Speaker 2: Was, Matt. Look, here's where I am on this. Your
- 17:56Speaker 2: girlfriend is the priority.
- 17:58Speaker 1: Now is past.
- 18:01Speaker 2: This is the past, so you do not need to
- 18:03Speaker 2: feel guilty about not being there. This is your past,
- 18:09Speaker 2: but it is your buddy. How close are you guys?
- 18:10Speaker 1: Groomsman?
- 18:11Speaker 2: It's closed, I mean friend for a while, and do
- 18:14Speaker 2: you think it's gonna last with your girlfriend now, Yeah, I.
- 18:18Speaker 6: Mean it's definitely possible.
- 18:20Speaker 1: It's gonna be fine.
- 18:21Speaker 7: Everybody's in good spirits for a wedding. You're not gonna
- 18:24Speaker 7: cause any drama.
- 18:25Speaker 2: Dude, he's cool. He's cool. Bro, Listen, he's cool. He
- 18:29Speaker 2: gets it. He's got to get it. Like, if she's
- 18:31Speaker 2: really that upset about it, you guys say, bro, trust
- 18:33Speaker 2: me on this one. I just need to be with
- 18:35Speaker 2: me on this one. I love you, I want to
- 18:36Speaker 2: be there, but this is going to cause so much
- 18:38Speaker 2: of a mess in my relationship. I can't do it.
- 18:41Speaker 2: He's gonna be brother, I get it, I get it.
- 18:43Speaker 2: There are other dudes that can be groomsmen, Bro, I
- 18:45Speaker 2: get it. A lot of bros and dudes in the conversation.
- 18:47Speaker 2: But it's gonna happen.
- 18:48Speaker 7: He just doesn't become a grooms Maybe you need still
- 18:50Speaker 7: go to the wedding with your.
- 18:51Speaker 8: Also the difference between going to the wedding and being groomsmen.
- 18:54Speaker 6: Yeah, I like that's probably the best choice.
- 18:58Speaker 2: Like, I get it. I don't know, we're just not bombs.
- 19:01Speaker 6: Yeah, I don't know.
- 19:04Speaker 2: Okay, I think I think you got to just like
- 19:06Speaker 2: be honest with him because your ex is one of
- 19:10Speaker 2: the bridesmaids.
- 19:10Speaker 1: Probably right, Yeah, yeah.
- 19:14Speaker 2: This is not great. I think he's got to be
- 19:16Speaker 2: the problem.
- 19:16Speaker 1: I think you can get through it.
- 19:18Speaker 2: You put yourself through the pain of that though.
- 19:21Speaker 1: Because he's a lot of his best friend's weddings.
- 19:24Speaker 2: Yeah, but if you're the best friend's going to understand
- 19:26Speaker 2: the situation, what's going to happen?
- 19:27Speaker 1: Are you gonna like fall in love with your X again?
- 19:29Speaker 4: Like? No?
- 19:31Speaker 1: And then we get through it. We're adults. Let's have
- 19:33Speaker 1: a great wedding childish when it comes.
- 19:37Speaker 2: I am over here, all right, Well, Matt, I don't
- 19:38Speaker 2: know if it helped her out. Big is the wedding?
- 19:40Speaker 1: That also depends. I mean it's definitely.
- 19:43Speaker 4: It definitely got me further along than I were than
- 19:45Speaker 4: I will.
- 19:46Speaker 2: Thank you guy. Is it big or small? This wedding?
- 19:49Speaker 4: It's like sixty sixty to eighty people. I would say,
- 19:52Speaker 4: I would say, all.
- 19:54Speaker 2: Right, well, good luck, bro, thank you for listening to us.
- 19:55Speaker 2: I hope we helped somehow. Let us know it goes.
- 19:57Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 19:58Speaker 2: Guys, absolutely not. You don't want to put yourself through it.
- 20:00Speaker 2: I have to see your axe and feel the feelings,
- 20:02Speaker 2: and we have to go through it. Don't do it anymore.
- 20:05Speaker 1: It ended mutually. You're the one that's always friends of
- 20:08Speaker 1: your act. Yeah, honestly that was shooking me.
- 20:11Speaker 2: Whole thing was I don't he shouldn't call it. Don't
- 20:13Speaker 2: cause pain in your own relationship. Now, if you can
- 20:16Speaker 2: just say to your buddy, hey, do this is causing
- 20:18Speaker 2: a problem.
- 20:20Speaker 1: No, it'll be fine.
- 20:22Speaker 2: Uh, how to be a guy one on one? Don't
- 20:26Speaker 2: know that's write a book. Just be honest with your
- 20:30Speaker 2: bro just like, be honest with your buddy, Like, dude,
- 20:32Speaker 2: it's gotta tell you it's.
- 20:33Speaker 1: Gonna cay one on one.
- 20:35Speaker 2: Yeah, Like I'd be the furthest author of that ever, Tubbs,
- 20:39Speaker 2: you'd be more likely to be that author than I. Definitely,
- 20:42Speaker 2: he smiles. That was like, and he smiles. Turn the page.
- 20:47Speaker 2: Enter tubs. Exterior shot of the lawn and porch tubs
- 20:51Speaker 2: sipping lemonade. Write in the book or the script. Second
- 20:57Speaker 2: date update. We do these every Tuesday. We're going to Glendale. So,
- 21:01Speaker 2: dear Ryan, Sisney and Tanya. This from Casey. My friends
- 21:03Speaker 2: and I love to go to karaoke on Saturday nights
- 21:05Speaker 2: at Dave some Broadway. I'm actually pretty good It's why
- 21:08Speaker 2: I moved here from Minnesota. Anyway, I finished my Selene
- 21:10Speaker 2: Dion song big song, Yeah, and a guy didn't know
- 21:14Speaker 2: gave me a standing ovation, So I talked to him.
- 21:16Speaker 2: He asked for my number. We went out. I had
- 21:19Speaker 2: a great time. But what is the right way to
- 21:21Speaker 2: get a number these days? Do you have can you
- 21:23Speaker 2: ask or do you have to Did you hand them
- 21:24Speaker 2: your phone or do you have to do that thing
- 21:25Speaker 2: where they sink contact?
- 21:27Speaker 11: Is it?
- 21:28Speaker 1: Is it phone numbers?
- 21:29Speaker 2: Is it the only one that knows?
- 21:30Speaker 1: Or is it ig accounts?
- 21:33Speaker 2: MICHAELA. You meet a dude, do you like do that
- 21:35Speaker 2: thing where they sink their thing they just like like
- 21:37Speaker 2: automatically warpsah? Or do you give them their phone and
- 21:41Speaker 2: put the plus in?
- 21:43Speaker 1: I don't know what this is.
- 21:46Speaker 2: When you when you want a guy's number, when you
- 21:48Speaker 2: want a guy's number or give it your number? Do
- 21:50Speaker 2: you just hand them your phone and type it in?
- 21:51Speaker 2: Do you get their phone type in? Do you do
- 21:53Speaker 2: the wom I.
- 21:54Speaker 12: Don't I think I just they just asked for it
- 21:57Speaker 12: and they either hand me their phone, I give them
- 21:58Speaker 12: my number or.
- 21:59Speaker 2: Yeah, the wh.
- 22:02Speaker 4: It's not you.
- 22:05Speaker 2: It's fine to hand your phone off. What if you
- 22:07Speaker 2: had your phone off and you don't know their name.
- 22:10Speaker 1: So the trick is, here's the trick.
- 22:12Speaker 8: If you don't know their name, you take their phone
- 22:15Speaker 8: and you said, let me put my phone number in
- 22:17Speaker 8: your phone.
- 22:18Speaker 2: Oh wait, no, you haven't done this. You're married.
- 22:21Speaker 1: Wow, rusty over the excuse me. But what you do
- 22:27Speaker 1: is you get them.
- 22:28Speaker 8: You text them to figure out a wait, to get
- 22:31Speaker 8: them to stop.
- 22:32Speaker 2: Sorry everyone, I'm sorry everyone, I'm sorry to the singles listening.
- 22:36Speaker 2: We're all right, well, let's just come back, Casey said.
- 22:39Speaker 2: The guy blew her off after all this? Why next?
- 22:41Speaker 2: By the way, we've discovered it is fine. If you
- 22:43Speaker 2: want to get someone's number, take someone's number, just hand
- 22:45Speaker 2: them the phone after you hit plus in the contacts,
- 22:48Speaker 2: type it in, get the phone back, move on. We
- 22:50Speaker 2: settled it. Dear Ryan CS and Tanya, uh friends and
- 22:54Speaker 2: I we go to karaoke? Is from Casey. She meets
- 22:58Speaker 2: this guy out because he loved her carry out singing,
- 23:01Speaker 2: and then they went out one time and now he's
- 23:03Speaker 2: blown her off. So Casey, it's always interesting to find
- 23:06Speaker 2: out why you thought it was a great date. He
- 23:09Speaker 2: doesn't want to reach out again after he's the one
- 23:11Speaker 2: that sort of stood up after you sang your karaoke
- 23:14Speaker 2: song and he was a total stranger, right, So fast
- 23:17Speaker 2: forward to now you guys meet out of this carry
- 23:19Speaker 2: ken and then you go out on your first date.
- 23:21Speaker 2: What was the first date?
- 23:22Speaker 3: Like, ah, so full disclosure. We actually like made out
- 23:27Speaker 3: a little bit that first night of days, okay, in
- 23:30Speaker 3: a dark corner.
- 23:33Speaker 11: So I expected a little more like physicality on our
- 23:38Speaker 11: first real date. So he took me to.
- 23:41Speaker 3: Bakari at the Americana and it was like so nice,
- 23:46Speaker 3: and he cut the date short, like no kiss or anything,
- 23:52Speaker 3: so like he must not have been into me, but I'm.
- 23:55Speaker 2: Not He could have had he could have had a
- 24:00Speaker 2: stomach problems. To me, I've done that, I've done that.
- 24:06Speaker 2: How did you cut it short? What did he say?
- 24:07Speaker 2: And like how did he exit?
- 24:09Speaker 11: Yeah, it was.
- 24:12Speaker 3: It was like really weird.
- 24:14Speaker 10: He just.
- 24:16Speaker 11: He just decided that, you know, he had to head out,
- 24:19Speaker 11: and he was like thank you, this is really nice
- 24:22Speaker 11: and just kind of left.
- 24:25Speaker 3: And then I never heard from him again.
- 24:27Speaker 11: And I thought, like we had good chemistry and I
- 24:32Speaker 11: don't want to sound conceited, but I don't get rejected
- 24:36Speaker 11: a lot.
- 24:38Speaker 2: There goes to not sounding conceited. Hold on one second,
- 24:41Speaker 2: I mean actually knows one second. You don't say it.
- 24:46Speaker 2: We're gonna find out. We're gonna get him on the phone.
- 24:48Speaker 2: He's agreed to come on the air.
- 24:49Speaker 1: I think right now, I won't know how you got
- 24:50Speaker 1: out of it.
- 24:51Speaker 2: All right, it's kiss. I found what's going on? This
- 24:53Speaker 2: is a second date update. Let's get into the second
- 24:56Speaker 2: date update. Casey Glendale. She sings karaoke night is this
- 25:00Speaker 2: lean Dion Soong? The stranger stands up, gives her standing ovation.
- 25:03Speaker 2: They meet, they make out, they go out on a date.
- 25:06Speaker 2: During the first date, he cuts it off short. She
- 25:08Speaker 2: was like, hey, I don't get rejected. That's what she
- 25:11Speaker 2: said to me. I don't want to some conceited, but
- 25:13Speaker 2: I don't get rejected. So why did he cut the
- 25:14Speaker 2: date short? And he's not reaching out to me at all?
- 25:16Speaker 2: So something completely changed. He did a one to eighty,
- 25:18Speaker 2: he made out with her, went out with her, left
- 25:21Speaker 2: the date early, and now won't reach out to her.
- 25:23Speaker 1: And you think it's stomach issues.
- 25:25Speaker 2: I think it could be diarrhea. I'm just.
- 25:31Speaker 1: What did you say to get out of that situation?
- 25:35Speaker 2: I probably made up there. I didn't make it up,
- 25:37Speaker 2: I said. I always go into any date saying after
- 25:40Speaker 2: work very early, you're out and so, and if I
- 25:45Speaker 2: have to cut it off, I go, oh my gosh,
- 25:46Speaker 2: it's seven thirty. I've got to get Wow.
- 25:49Speaker 1: Wow, it's a great excuse. I used to use you
- 25:52Speaker 1: all the time.
- 25:54Speaker 2: I'm sorry.
- 25:55Speaker 8: I used to use you as my excuse any day
- 25:59Speaker 8: of the week, because I would say, I have to
- 26:01Speaker 8: work for you. And even if it was like a Sunday,
- 26:03Speaker 8: like you're always doing something.
- 26:06Speaker 2: Oh you're welcome. Yeah, good, good for you, bad for me.
- 26:14Speaker 1: People work so hard.
- 26:15Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm sure I have such a great reputation of
- 26:18Speaker 2: my co workers out there. Oh he made me work
- 26:20Speaker 2: tomorrow morning six am on the Sunday church service drive.
- 26:23Speaker 2: All right, Casey, sorry, if it's a tight family here,
- 26:28Speaker 2: we're gonna call this dude right now. I think he's
- 26:29Speaker 2: on the phone. Actually his name is Matt, Is that right?
- 26:32Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 26:33Speaker 2: All right, don't say anything. We're gonna try and find
- 26:36Speaker 2: out why he blew you off after everything was going
- 26:38Speaker 2: so well.
- 26:38Speaker 3: All right, Oh, thank you. I just really want to
- 26:40Speaker 3: know why.
- 26:41Speaker 2: Okay, Casey, who said to me, I don't want to
- 26:44Speaker 2: sound conceited, but I never get rejected. Let's find out
- 26:46Speaker 2: why she get rejected. Matt, are you there, Matt Iowa? Hey, Matt,
- 26:52Speaker 2: it's Ryan Seacrest. You're on the radio with Sisney Tanya
- 26:54Speaker 2: myself on Kiss FM. Thanks for coming on with us.
- 26:56Speaker 2: This will be very fast. Oh okay, who are asking
- 27:01Speaker 2: you about? There's a woman I think you went out
- 27:03Speaker 2: with named Casey. Do you remember going out with her? Yeah?
- 27:08Speaker 6: Yeah, I remember her?
- 27:10Speaker 2: And how was he? How was the date?
- 27:14Speaker 6: You know it was?
- 27:14Speaker 2: Uh?
- 27:16Speaker 6: I saw her doing karaoke? You know that that girl
- 27:20Speaker 6: can sing. I don't know what else did she? Uh?
- 27:24Speaker 6: She tell you?
- 27:27Speaker 2: She didn't tell me that much. But you went out
- 27:28Speaker 2: with her? Did you? Did you like the date? How
- 27:32Speaker 2: did it go when you went out with her?
- 27:36Speaker 6: But yeah, I wasn't really Uh I wasn't really feeling it?
- 27:41Speaker 2: Oh not? What were you feeling?
- 27:45Speaker 6: Let me just put it this way. She's a she's
- 27:48Speaker 6: her own biggest fan.
- 27:50Speaker 2: H So she is a very self confident. Is that bad?
- 27:57Speaker 7: Was She's?
- 27:57Speaker 6: She didn't ask me a question all night and about
- 28:00Speaker 6: me all night, talked about herself that.
- 28:04Speaker 2: Yeah, I know that I've probably I've probably done that
- 28:07Speaker 2: myself awfully. Uh okay. So and then Matt, what did
- 28:11Speaker 2: you do after you? Since that she was self fulfilled?
- 28:18Speaker 6: I mean I I mean I was trying. She was
- 28:21Speaker 6: super hot, you know, but she got a text and
- 28:24Speaker 6: I noticed she had her face on her lock screen,
- 28:28Speaker 6: and uh yeah, I just think that says a lot
- 28:32Speaker 6: about a person, you know.
- 28:33Speaker 1: But was she with somebody else?
- 28:35Speaker 7: Was it like her and like a dog, or her
- 28:37Speaker 7: and her mom or anything like that.
- 28:41Speaker 6: It's just her?
- 28:44Speaker 2: Did you quickly? Just because where everybody's listening to this
- 28:46Speaker 2: right now and they're on their way to work, would
- 28:48Speaker 2: you go out with her again?
- 28:52Speaker 6: I don't. I don't think so.
- 28:54Speaker 2: Okay, yeah, Casey is on the phone here, Casey. He
- 28:58Speaker 2: thinks you're cocky. That's why he blew you.
- 29:01Speaker 5: Off because I'm a photo of myself on.
- 29:05Speaker 3: My lock screen.
- 29:06Speaker 2: Like that's cocky. I picture of a pet. Then you
- 29:15Speaker 2: put a picture someone else's pet. Landscape here, a beach,
- 29:22Speaker 2: something else. It's great. Dogs. You can't put you on
- 29:27Speaker 2: your phone. You can't like So that's it?
- 29:31Speaker 3: Like that was it?
- 29:32Speaker 6: Seriously? I mean it's it's not just the lock screen.
- 29:37Speaker 6: It was it was like your general vibe. But here's
- 29:41Speaker 6: the thing. I mean, you're really attractive you're really talented.
- 29:46Speaker 6: I just think the problem is that you know all
- 29:49Speaker 6: these things a little too well, you know. I honestly
- 29:55Speaker 6: I wish you the best, truly, I would just I
- 29:58Speaker 6: would just try some humility. Okay, uh big care?
- 30:01Speaker 1: Whoa wow?
- 30:04Speaker 2: All right, well, Casey, I think there you have why
- 30:07Speaker 2: Matt isn't into you. I'm sure you sound like you've
- 30:09Speaker 2: got a lot going on. And I guess one other
- 30:11Speaker 2: thing that I would lean from this, Casey is maybe,
- 30:13Speaker 2: even if it's difficult, ask the other person some questions.
- 30:16Speaker 1: Right, he did mention that, wow.
- 30:19Speaker 3: Whatever.
- 30:20Speaker 2: Okay, all right, well, thanks for reaching out on air
- 30:29Speaker 2: with Ryan Seacrest. All right, let's get to this caller
- 30:33Speaker 2: here one eight hundred and five two one to two seven. Hi, Rachel,
- 30:36Speaker 2: good morning. How are you, Rachel? I'm good?
- 30:39Speaker 3: How are you?
- 30:40Speaker 2: We are doing swimmingly? So, Rachel, your boyfriend keeps mixing
- 30:45Speaker 2: up your friends. What happened? What's wrong? What's the problem.
- 30:48Speaker 12: Yeah, he can't remember the names of my friends, and
- 30:50Speaker 12: it's kind of embarrassing me and them. We've been hanging
- 30:54Speaker 12: out at one of my friend's apartments, and while talking
- 30:57Speaker 12: to some of the people there, it's clear that he
- 30:59Speaker 12: just can't remember, and he's referring to everyone by the
- 31:02Speaker 12: wrong name, and so I'm kind of worried that this
- 31:05Speaker 12: is a bad sign if you're a little disrespectful.
- 31:08Speaker 2: It's not. It's unintentional. I have to say, I've been
- 31:12Speaker 2: in this situation before, and until I get like real
- 31:15Speaker 2: face time with everybody and not too many at once,
- 31:18Speaker 2: I have a problem with this too.
- 31:19Speaker 1: Not too many at once.
- 31:21Speaker 7: It's true, I could see how it could be overwhelming,
- 31:24Speaker 7: But you think you would make more of an effort,
- 31:26Speaker 7: being that this is his girlfriend who he loves and
- 31:29Speaker 7: this is important to her.
- 31:32Speaker 6: Right.
- 31:32Speaker 12: Do you think that this is worth having a conversation
- 31:35Speaker 12: about because it's a little bit embarrassing for me.
- 31:38Speaker 1: What if you make it a game.
- 31:41Speaker 7: Like you make like like flashcards get there to pick
- 31:43Speaker 7: you up?
- 31:43Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 31:43Speaker 1: That too.
- 31:44Speaker 7: What if you get like flashcard pictures of all your
- 31:47Speaker 7: friends and you kind of like who's this?
- 31:49Speaker 2: Who this?
- 31:49Speaker 1: And like a drinking game like just the two of
- 31:52Speaker 1: you one night.
- 31:53Speaker 2: You could also do without drinks. I mean, I think
- 31:55Speaker 2: it's a good idea to actually do flashcards work. It's
- 31:57Speaker 2: proven it works on the brain. Okay, but don't let
- 32:01Speaker 2: this be a deal breaker. Give him a breather on this.
- 32:03Speaker 1: Yeah it funny.
- 32:05Speaker 3: Okay, so it's not topic of a deal.
- 32:07Speaker 2: It's not.
- 32:08Speaker 8: It's really now, Or just tell him not to use
- 32:10Speaker 8: names until he's sure.
- 32:14Speaker 2: Hey you see you again?
- 32:16Speaker 1: Yeah, nice to see you again. Oh my gosh, how
- 32:19Speaker 1: was your weekend? This is my friend Tanya.
- 32:23Speaker 2: Yeah all right, Rachel. At least you're in love. Good
- 32:26Speaker 2: for you. Congratulates that everybody'sy. Mom, tire you dark? Dark
- 32:32Speaker 2: is just true. I smells matter, one of two point
- 32:36Speaker 2: seven FM. Smells matter. They do.
- 32:40Speaker 1: They do.
- 32:41Speaker 2: The scent of a lotion, the scent of a perfume
- 32:43Speaker 2: or cologne, the scent of the food, the cent of
- 32:46Speaker 2: your home, the scent of a candle, scent of everything.
- 32:49Speaker 2: It matters.
- 32:50Speaker 1: It's the best.
- 32:51Speaker 2: If it's good, that's true. It's bad if it's not.
- 32:55Speaker 2: Matter of fact, I've smelled like onions before. I didn't
- 33:00Speaker 2: love it.
- 33:02Speaker 1: Because you ate too many? Or was that like your
- 33:04Speaker 1: sweat after what I.
- 33:05Speaker 2: Thought it was my sweater? I ate them? Or they
- 33:07Speaker 2: came out of my.
- 33:07Speaker 7: Porest sometimes, like garlic does come out of your pores.
- 33:10Speaker 1: The next day.
- 33:11Speaker 2: Spices and garlic, they they do.
- 33:13Speaker 1: If you're have you do a hard work out, you'll.
- 33:15Speaker 2: Scent matters, feel it. Let's get into it. The smell
- 33:18Speaker 2: of La. So La Times asked this question, what is
- 33:22Speaker 2: the smell of La and some of the responses for this,
- 33:25Speaker 2: what do you think it is? Tanya?
- 33:27Speaker 8: For me, it's street hot dogs, bake and wrapped hot dogs.
- 33:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 33:33Speaker 7: Yeah, that makes me think of like Hollywood Bowl or
- 33:36Speaker 7: Sofi Stadium when I'm leaving a Chargers game, or downtown
- 33:38Speaker 7: l A after like a King's game.
- 33:41Speaker 2: So one person had magnolia. So many streets in the
- 33:44Speaker 2: valley have magnolia.
- 33:45Speaker 7: My street has magnolia trees smell it. Mm hmmm, well seasonal,
- 33:48Speaker 7: but yes you do.
- 33:50Speaker 2: Another person said, and I think this is true, the
- 33:52Speaker 2: mix of jet fuel and ocean air.
- 33:55Speaker 1: Yes, west sires for west Side, right, I don't smell
- 33:58Speaker 1: ocean air.
- 34:00Speaker 7: Don't live over there, live by the airport, and that's
- 34:02Speaker 7: what you get here in Westchester.
- 34:04Speaker 2: You definitely, as you said to Baker hot dogs. Everybody
- 34:07Speaker 2: said that too, grilled onions, peppers leaving major events and
- 34:11Speaker 2: you get the smell of that. Yeah, I like all
- 34:14Speaker 2: those smells. I think it's fine of a mixture of smells,
- 34:18Speaker 2: of smell of in and out Burger.
- 34:20Speaker 7: I could smell an in out Burger blindfolded and know
- 34:23Speaker 7: it's in and out.
- 34:24Speaker 1: Wow, I just can I don't know what it is.
- 34:26Speaker 7: It has a distinct Yeah, it's different from any other
- 34:29Speaker 7: fast food chain, Like the in and out smell is
- 34:33Speaker 7: very distinct.
- 34:33Speaker 2: It's true, all right, I'm jumping into Rosie, y'all. Hell,
- 34:38Speaker 2: and I'm Montana. Never been to Montana myself.
- 34:42Speaker 1: Here it's beautiful.
- 34:43Speaker 2: I just watched that yellow.
- 34:44Speaker 5: Stone I gotta be honest, Judge filmed I think in
- 34:48Speaker 5: New Mexico.
- 34:49Speaker 9: But you bet it's a great place. You guys absolutely
- 34:52Speaker 9: have open invitation. We we have a lake place right
- 34:56Speaker 9: outside West Yellowstone, so it's yours whenever you want.
- 35:00Speaker 2: Wow, I don't know if we can road trip.
- 35:05Speaker 9: All right, Well that is a road trip.
- 35:07Speaker 3: Let me tell you that is a road trip.
- 35:09Speaker 9: But I really appreciate you taking my call. I am
- 35:12Speaker 9: hugely impressed with how you help people. And I'm just
- 35:15Speaker 9: one of these moms and I can't begin to tell you.
- 35:19Speaker 3: I'm so I'm so frustrated.
- 35:21Speaker 9: I'm trying to let it be. I've been trying to
- 35:23Speaker 9: fix it, and I got a son that's in a
- 35:26Speaker 9: hot mess. And I just need some advice. I don't
- 35:28Speaker 9: know what to do.
- 35:30Speaker 2: What has happened to your son?
- 35:33Speaker 9: So just long story short. He had been involved in
- 35:36Speaker 9: a six year relationship. His girlfriend at the time broke
- 35:39Speaker 9: up with him, and three weeks later he went on
- 35:41Speaker 9: a daily side trying to fill that boy and he
- 35:43Speaker 9: met a woman right away.
- 35:45Speaker 2: And she is toxic.
- 35:47Speaker 9: Three years later, she has broken up with him the
- 35:50Speaker 9: first time two months into the relationship, saying, here, just
- 35:54Speaker 9: not doing it for me, but oh yeah, I need
- 35:56Speaker 9: a ride to so and so and got back together.
- 36:00Speaker 9: It was the first time, the second or third time,
- 36:02Speaker 9: no different, same thing.
- 36:03Speaker 5: She broke up with him.
- 36:05Speaker 6: You know, I just I don't.
- 36:06Speaker 9: Love you, You're not good enough. And oh yeah, but
- 36:10Speaker 9: we have a trip planned to pair, so you know what,
- 36:11Speaker 9: let's just forget about this.
- 36:13Speaker 2: Then.
- 36:14Speaker 9: The worst I think there were two really bad ones.
- 36:16Speaker 9: One was Thanksgiving, an hour before the entire family we're
- 36:22Speaker 9: coming to dinner. She told them she didn't love them,
- 36:25Speaker 9: and then he came in looking like he saw a ghost.
- 36:28Speaker 6: And I had to sit at a table with.
- 36:30Speaker 9: Her because she was there, and she said, I don't
- 36:33Speaker 9: love you. I don't want to be a part of
- 36:34Speaker 9: this relationship and not your family. And he's like, Mom,
- 36:37Speaker 9: I mean, and I'm like okay, And I always welcome everybody.
- 36:42Speaker 9: I was beside myself, but the really long issues, I've
- 36:46Speaker 9: tried to be supportive. I've been really kind of strong, saying, listen,
- 36:51Speaker 9: you know this is toxic.
- 36:53Speaker 3: Well, he knows that.
- 36:56Speaker 2: I can only tell you what my mom does, and
- 36:59Speaker 2: she just gives her opinion at the right time and
- 37:03Speaker 2: then lets me come to my own conclusion. A lot
- 37:05Speaker 2: of times we don't respond to, you know, a push
- 37:10Speaker 2: and right, and he knows, he knows, but he's got
- 37:14Speaker 2: to come to the conclusion on his own that it's
- 37:15Speaker 2: not going to work and deal with it himself. You know,
- 37:18Speaker 2: You've you've said your piece, you've given your view, and
- 37:22Speaker 2: it's got to be on him.
- 37:24Speaker 9: And honestly, I know that, and I know everybody finds
- 37:28Speaker 9: their way for the right reason. But there's one little thing.
- 37:30Speaker 9: His sister is getting married and this woman is still
- 37:34Speaker 9: on the invite and oh my gosh, nobody wants her there. No,
- 37:38Speaker 9: And so you know, I've tried to let it be,
- 37:41Speaker 9: let them and it's the white elephant in the room,
- 37:43Speaker 9: because of course I don't want to just nag him.
- 37:46Speaker 9: But it's just it's Josh or you know, what are
- 37:51Speaker 9: you going to do?
- 37:52Speaker 1: She isn't she included.
- 37:53Speaker 2: I feel like it's helped for you to talk this out.
- 37:55Speaker 2: I feel like that's good, and I feel like you've
- 37:57Speaker 2: said your your piece. And I think he kind of
- 37:59Speaker 2: got to let it just like I said, happened on
- 38:01Speaker 2: his time, on his watch. But you're great. I can
- 38:04Speaker 2: tell your great mom. I can tell just by talking
- 38:07Speaker 2: to you. And we really appreciate you leaning on us
- 38:10Speaker 2: to call.
- 38:12Speaker 9: Well, you know there's two options here. I lean on you.
- 38:15Speaker 9: In about five years, he'll be calling you with Ryan's
- 38:17Speaker 9: roses seeing who his wife is.
- 38:20Speaker 2: No, I don't want that, No, no, not at all.
- 38:24Speaker 5: You guys are wonderful.
