- 0:00Chapter 33 of Isaiah and this one let's first pray like we
- 0:07always do dear God, please let the Holy Spirit give us insight,
- 0:12wisdom, revelation and understanding for this chapter.
- 0:16We ask for this in Jesus name so that we may get the message that
- 0:21is being relayed here. So in Isaiah, it's this is
- 0:28another one of those chapters where I see things a little bit
- 0:31differently than the study Bible does.
- 0:34So I will read both of them. And also I and I have lots of
- 0:40scripture to back it up too. So I see this chapter once again
- 0:46as the return of Jesus, the coming of the Messiah, the
- 0:50second coming. That's what I see this as
- 0:54talking about. And prophet prophecy that's
- 0:58written in the Bible is often there's like a double meaning, a
- 1:02literal meaning, and then a symbolic meaning.
- 1:06And sometimes there is a partial fulfillment, but it's not
- 1:09completely fulfilled. So these are, you know, visions
- 1:15and words from God through a prophet.
- 1:18And whether it applies to the immediate or the future is
- 1:23really hard to determine. And it could be both, but it
- 1:28absolutely refers to the future. When I read through this, I'll
- 1:34show you where and why it absolutely points to the future.
- 1:40But you know, it also could have had a meaning of their time as
- 1:44well, but it wasn't fully fulfilled.
- 1:47Like you can't say it was fulfilled.
- 1:49And in the future though, it will be completely fulfilled.
- 1:54So anyway, let's get started on it.
- 1:56Woe to you, destroyer, you who have not been destroyed.
- 2:02Woe to you betrayer, you who have not been betrayed.
- 2:06When you stop destroying, you will be destroyed.
- 2:09When you stop betraying, you will be betrayed.
- 2:14Obviously there are a lot of people are a lot of nations that
- 2:18could be called destroyers by God, and God uses destroyers to
- 2:25bring judgment upon rebellious people, people who are in
- 2:30opposition to God. And so he will use everybody's
- 2:34free will to accomplish his own will and purpose in this world.
- 2:40And the study Bible says, who was this destroyer and betrayer?
- 2:45Most likely Assyria. Up to this time, the Assyrians
- 2:49had always been victorious. That was about to change.
- 2:53The emphasis on betrayal suggests that the specific
- 2:56occasion for this woe may have been when Sina Cherub, king of
- 3:02Assyria, accepted payment from Hezekiah, king of Judah, to
- 3:07break off his attack on Judah, but then did not break off the
- 3:12attack. So he broke this agreement with
- 3:16Hezekiah. And that all makes sense.
- 3:19But is that just a foreshadowing of the future for for us that
- 3:26there is going to be this lawless man who breaks a
- 3:33covenant and turns things around and starts going after all of
- 3:37the people of Israel? And we'll read about that, you
- 3:42know, from the book of Daniel is what I'm talking about.
- 3:44Like that's something future. And this seems like a
- 3:47foreshadowing of it and not only a foreshadowing of it.
- 3:51I don't even know if it really meant anything for that time
- 3:55that the people heard it, because although it did kind of
- 4:00play like that paragraph just said, the rest of it, when you
- 4:04start seeing this, the rest of this really sounds like when
- 4:07Jesus returns. I mean, there's some things that
- 4:10that just it, it can't be any other time except the very end
- 4:15when Jesus returns. So we'll just read through it.
- 4:20Lord, be great. OK?
- 4:21This is from Isaiah verse 2. Lord, be gracious to us.
- 4:25We long for you. Be our strength every morning.
- 4:29I want to pause there because that's something that we can all
- 4:31learn from. And Isaiah is praying, talking
- 4:35to God, and he's saying be our strength every morning.
- 4:39That's what we should have that same kind of relationship with
- 4:43God, that he is our strength every morning and it says our
- 4:48salvation in time of distress every morning.
- 4:51That doesn't mean like once a week when we go to church or you
- 4:57know, a couple times a year on special holidays, if we go to
- 5:00church, then it means like every morning despite church.
- 5:04We need to have that relationship with God that we
- 5:06talk to him every morning, that we are in his word, that we're
- 5:10seeking him in some way. We're praying to him, we're
- 5:13letting him speak to us. We're letting, we're giving him
- 5:16that quiet time that we can just focus on him and let the Holy
- 5:22Spirit speak to us in that, not, not in an audible voice.
- 5:26Sometimes that does happen to people, but it's, it's mainly, a
- 5:30lot of people say it's mainly a thought that just comes into
- 5:33their mind that it's not their own, like they know it's not
- 5:38their own. And that's when God speaks to
- 5:42people. So if we're in communication
- 5:44with him every morning and we give him some quiet time to
- 5:47speak where we're not just the one talking, then he can't speak
- 5:51to us. At the uproar of your army, the
- 5:54peoples flee. When you rise up, the nation
- 5:58scatter. Your plunder, O nations, is
- 6:02harvested as by young locust. Like a swarm of locust, people
- 6:07pounce on it. So I'll read what the study
- 6:10Bible says about this. What was so bad about the swarm
- 6:13of locust? Locust swarms can occupy
- 6:15hundreds of square miles, with billions of insects eating
- 6:18several times their body weight in crops daily.
- 6:22After a locust swarm moves on from an area, the land is
- 6:26stripped bare of all its vegetation, and people who live
- 6:30there are left and want because of its severity.
- 6:34Isaiah was probably comparing the Assyrian devastation to the
- 6:38devastation caused by locusts. I think this also applies in the
- 6:42Book of Revelation as well, that some of the things that are
- 6:45given there, the Book of Revelation is very symbolic.
- 6:48Almost everything in it is symbolic, and that's what it
- 6:53takes. It takes wisdom to understand
- 6:56what's a symbol and what's literal and some of the things
- 7:01we probably won't even know until they actually happen.
- 7:03And then we'll see how God actually has it play out.
- 7:08But just like these locusts, I mean, because there's something
- 7:11like these, this description, like I think it's during the
- 7:15trumpets or the seals, I can't remember which, where they,
- 7:19there's some strange things that happen.
- 7:21And I think it's a trumpets might be around the 6th trumpet
- 7:26or so and just a strange description, which is probably
- 7:33is it's definitely symbolic, but what it actually means,
- 7:37everybody keeps guessing. So going back to Isaiah, the
- 7:42Lord is exalted for he dwells on high.
- 7:45I'm thinking this is about Jesus.
- 7:48He will fill Zion with his justice and righteousness.
- 7:52He will be the sure foundation for your times, a rich store of
- 8:00salvation and wisdom and knowledge.
- 8:04The fear of the Lord is the key to this treasure.
- 8:09So definitely Jesus brought about salvation.
- 8:13And when there's a book, I don't know if it's in Proverbs or
- 8:18Ecclesiastes, but it talks about wisdom.
- 8:22And when I read it, it's very poetic.
- 8:25And when I read it as I was reading it, I was like, this
- 8:29sounds like Jesus. This sounds like it's talking
- 8:32about Jesus. So it's, it's very interesting
- 8:36to read that. And then so it talks about
- 8:39salvation, wisdom, and then knowledge.
- 8:43Jesus obviously brought about knowledge.
- 8:46He gave people knowledge when he was here on earth.
- 8:50That was documented in the scriptures.
- 8:52People didn't know about the Kingdom of God.
- 8:55They didn't know how God operates and Jesus was revealing
- 9:00a lot of this to people when he was here on earth.
- 9:04So and then I want to talk about the fear of the Lord, 'cause it
- 9:09says the fear of the Lord is the key to this treasure.
- 9:13And that's a highly debated or talked about subject with
- 9:18people. And, you know, 'cause it's a,
- 9:23it's a different kind of fear. And I think the only way that
- 9:25you get an idea of the fear of the Lord and what that is, is by
- 9:31searching that in Scripture where it's defined.
- 9:34And so that's what I did is I searched it.
- 9:38This is the new international version.
- 9:40But these words fear and Lord occur 453 times in 67 verses.
- 9:52So it's referenced quite a bit in the Bible.
- 9:57And then it says including 21 exact phrases shown first.
- 10:02So I'm just going to read the exact phrases about the fear of
- 10:06the Lord because I think 21 of them probably gives us an idea.
- 10:11So the fear of the Lord fell on this is from Second Chronicles
- 10:15chapter 17, verse 10. The fear of the Lord fell on all
- 10:20the kingdoms of the lands surrounding Judah so that they
- 10:25did not go to war against Jehoshaphat.
- 10:29So this is something that God can do.
- 10:31He can cause enemies to have fear to not pursue His chosen.
- 10:39So that's what the fear of the Lord.
- 10:42It's something that he can put on people.
- 10:46He can maybe open their eyes to where they would fear the Lord.
- 10:52So Second Chronicles chapter 19, verse 7, it says, now let the
- 10:57fear of the Lord be on you. Judge carefully for with the
- 11:03Lord our God, there is no injustice or partiality or
- 11:07bribery. So we anyone who judges and
- 11:13we're not supposed to judge, but I mean, God does put people in
- 11:17positions of power. There are judges on earth for
- 11:20different things and in communities and governments.
- 11:24And this is, you know, let the fear of the Lord, like don't try
- 11:29and appease people, but judge in the way that God would.
- 11:35Because while there are Gray areas for people and we might
- 11:40see, well, you know, we just, we have differing opinions about,
- 11:45you know, is something black or white or is there a Gray area
- 11:48when a judgement is being made? But for God, there's no
- 11:53injustice or partiality or bribery.
- 11:56So it's very like whatever judgement God brings about is
- 12:01just, it's not like, oh, it could go either way.
- 12:05Like, no, God knows a lot more than what we can do.
- 12:08We can't see into people's minds.
- 12:10So we're at a deficit of trying to judge between people if we
- 12:17are a judge in that position because we can't read people's
- 12:21minds. God knows people.
- 12:23God knows what they've done in the past.
- 12:25He knows what their heart is like.
- 12:28God is the perfect judge. So whenever God places a
- 12:31judgement on someone, we can't say that, look, that was unfair.
- 12:35No, it wasn't. Because here's the other thing
- 12:38is that Jesus even said no one is good but God.
- 12:42So how can we say that, oh, we're really good, we shouldn't
- 12:47have any judgement on us? Well, we're lying to ourselves
- 12:50because we're not really good and we do things.
- 12:53So whenever judgement comes from God, it's it's justified.
- 12:59So in Second Chronicles chapter 19, verse 9, he gave them these
- 13:03orders. You must serve faithfully and
- 13:06wholeheartedly in the fear of the Lord.
- 13:09Again, you know, you just think about like what's God going to
- 13:13say about how you are serving or what you're doing, You know,
- 13:18have the fear of the Lord because the Lord has the final
- 13:21judgement of us. And I think that's what the fear
- 13:24of the Lord is, is knowing that there is going to be a judgement
- 13:28day and that we are going to stand before the Lord.
- 13:32So in the book of Job, Job chapter 28 verse 28, and he said
- 13:37to the human, human race the fear of the Lord that is wisdom
- 13:43and to shun evil is understanding.
- 13:48So the wisdom is having the fear of the Lord.
- 13:54If we don't fear God, we will probably do whatever we want.
- 13:59But if we fear God, then we will shun evil.
- 14:05We will avoid evil. That's the understanding, that's
- 14:08our reaction to the wisdom that we have about what the fear is.
- 14:12If, if we fear God, we will stay away from the things that God
- 14:17calls evil. If we don't fear the Lord, we'll
- 14:21do whatever God calls evil and not have not have any fear of
- 14:25the Lord. But that's saying that's not
- 14:28wise. It's wise to have the fear of
- 14:31the Lord because that's what helps us from staying away from
- 14:36evil. And then in Psalm 19, verse 9,
- 14:40it says the fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever.
- 14:47The decrees of the Lord Lord are firm, and all of them are
- 14:53righteous. So God doesn't make mistakes.
- 14:56If He makes a decree, it stands and they're all righteous.
- 15:01Even if we don't necessarily, we don't, well, I don't like that
- 15:04one or I don't think that should be that way.
- 15:07That's too bad. We are not God.
- 15:10We have to humble ourselves and realize who God is.
- 15:14And it's kind of like in Job when it was when Job and God
- 15:17were having this dialogue and God was saying, well, do you
- 15:21know how to do all this stuff? Like who are you?
- 15:25Are you the clay telling the Potter to do something a certain
- 15:29way? I think that's in Jeremiah where
- 15:30it's referred to clay and Potter.
- 15:32Like God is the maker and we are the thing he made, the person he
- 15:37made. So we're not above God.
- 15:39We can't do what God can do. I mean, our world tries to, we
- 15:45try to get to be into the that capacity with technology, the
- 15:50use of technology, but we are not God.
- 15:54And the things that humans create will fail.
- 15:58But with God, he will not fail. In Psalm 34, verse 11, it says,
- 16:04come, my children, listen to me. I will teach you the fear of the
- 16:09Lord. So this is like a good thing,
- 16:11like to have the fear of the Lord.
- 16:13I think a lot of people think about fearing somebody as having
- 16:17somebody like abusive coming after them.
- 16:20That's not what God is that and that's what we have to remember
- 16:23about God. If God ever does judgement on
- 16:26someone, it's deserved judgement.
- 16:29He doesn't, he's not a, an abusive father that comes and
- 16:35tries to, you know, abuse his children or anything that is,
- 16:39that's not God. But we need to have a respect
- 16:43for God that we, if he tells us this is the way I want you to
- 16:48live, then we need to respect that.
- 16:51And that's how we need to live now.
- 16:53We're not going to, I guess we are not perfect people and we
- 16:57might slip up at times, but that's why the Holy Spirit is
- 17:01given to people so that you can overcome those things.
- 17:05Because it says that God never gives us a temptation that is
- 17:09beyond what mankind can endure. And in doing that also He gives
- 17:14us a way out. So we really don't have any
- 17:17excuse. There might be some weakness in
- 17:20us, but that's something that we just need to overcome with the
- 17:23Holy Spirit and we just need to pray to God and then he will
- 17:27help us with whatever our stumbling block is, whatever our
- 17:33weaknesses, that's where where we are weak, He is strong.
- 17:38So the things that we are weak and we have to rely on the Holy
- 17:42Spirit to deliver us from that basically.
- 17:46So in Psalm chapter 111 verse 10, the fear of the Lord is the
- 17:54beginning of wisdom. All who follow his precepts have
- 17:59good understanding. To Him belongs eternal praise.
- 18:04So again it says the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.
- 18:08So if you want to be wise, you should have the fear of the
- 18:11Lord. In Proverbs chapter one, verse
- 18:157, the fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge.
- 18:20But fools despise wisdom and instruction.
- 18:25So we are a fool if we think that we don't need wisdom, we
- 18:30don't need instruction, we've got it.
- 18:33We're foolish because the fear of the Lord is the beginning of
- 18:38knowledge. In Proverbs chapter 2 verse 5,
- 18:43then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the
- 18:46knowledge of God. So I'll have to read the first
- 18:49verse on that. The preceding verses.
- 18:53This is talking about the moral benefits of wisdom.
- 18:57And I think this might Maybe it's David talking to Solomon.
- 19:02I don't know, my son. If you accept my words and store
- 19:06up my commands within you, turning your ear to wisdom and
- 19:11applying your heart to understanding.
- 19:13Indeed. If you call out for insight and
- 19:17cry aloud for understanding. And if you look for it As for
- 19:22silver and search for it As for hidden treasure, then you will
- 19:27understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God.
- 19:33For God gives wisdom from his mouth come.
- 19:37For God gives wisdom from his mouth come knowledge and
- 19:41understanding. He holds success in store for
- 19:45the upright. He is a shield to those who
- 19:48walk, whose walk is blameless, for he guards the course of the
- 19:54just just and protects the way of his faithful ones.
- 20:00And it continues on further. So the Proverbs 9, verse 10.
- 20:09Now Proverbs is all about wisdom, the book of Proverbs.
- 20:13So I'll read that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of
- 20:15wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.
- 20:21So when we have knowledge of the Holy One, we understand what the
- 20:27fear of the Lord is. Proverbs 10 verse 27 The fear of
- 20:32the Lord adds length to life, but the years of the wicked are
- 20:37cut short. Proverbs 14 verse 27 The fear of
- 20:44the Lord is a fountain of life, returning a person from the
- 20:50snares of death. So if we have the fear of the
- 20:54Lord, it will bring about life. It turns people from what
- 21:01captures people into death or you know, eternal separation
- 21:05from God In Proverbs 15, verse 16 better a little with the fear
- 21:12of the Lord, then great wealth with turmoil.
- 21:16So better, I guess we're better having a little wealth with the
- 21:21fear of the Lord, then great wealth with turmoil that it
- 21:25brings about Proverbs 16, verse 6 through love and faithfulness,
- 21:32sin is atoned for through the fear of the Lord, evil is
- 21:37avoided. So here gives you insight to if
- 21:40we have fear of the Lord, evil is avoided.
- 21:44In Proverbs 19 verse 23, the fear of the Lord leads to life.
- 21:49The one then one rests content, untouchable by trouble.
- 21:56That's how people can have peace in all circumstances.
- 22:01When they have the fear of the Lord, they know they're living
- 22:04life the way God wants them to live.
- 22:06It leads to eternal life basically.
- 22:08And then when you know you have eternal life, you're content
- 22:12because you know this is just a transition.
- 22:15This is just a phase, if you want to call it, of our life.
- 22:19And there is yet another phase of our life to come.
- 22:23In Proverbs chapter 22, verse 4, humility is the fear of the
- 22:27Lord. It's wages, our riches and honor
- 22:30and life. So God loves the humble, He
- 22:33hates the proud. So when we humble ourselves and
- 22:37have the fear of the Lord, it says it's wages are riches and
- 22:42honor in life. There's good thing that's that
- 22:45come about when we are humble in Proverbs 23 verse 17.
- 22:50Do not let your heart envy sinners, but always be zealous
- 22:55for the fear of the Lord. So I guess that is just, you
- 23:00know, the fear of the Lord is more important then envying what
- 23:05the sinners are getting away with, what the sinners have, but
- 23:09just always have the fear of the Lord.
- 23:11Think about things from an eternal perspective, not an
- 23:14immediate like, oh, they're having all this fun and I'm not
- 23:17having this fun. Well, things are going to turn,
- 23:20the tables are going to turn and eternity when it comes forth,
- 23:23when we go into eternity, what they were enjoying and if they
- 23:29never repented, they are just they're going to be suffering
- 23:33for eternity where the people who have the fear of the Lord
- 23:38will be living life in what God is creating for the future, for
- 23:46our future. Isaiah Chapter 11, verse 2, the
- 23:50Spirit of the Lord will rest on him, the spirit of wisdom, of
- 23:54understanding, the spirit of counsel and of might, the spirit
- 23:58of knowledge and fear of the Lord.
- 24:02I believe that's actually, I want to look at that because I
- 24:04think that's yeah, that's actually talking about either
- 24:09that's maybe talking about David, but also I think he, it
- 24:15may talk about Jesus, but because it's talking this is
- 24:19about the branch from Jesse, a shoot will come up from the
- 24:22stump of Jesse, from his roots, a branch will bear fruit.
- 24:27So I think the shoot might be David, and from his roots a
- 24:33branch that's Jesus will bear fruit.
- 24:36So the Spirit of the Lord will rest on him, the Spirit of
- 24:39wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and of might,
- 24:42the spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord.
- 24:45And he will delight in the fear of the Lord.
- 24:47He will not judge by what he sees with his eyes or decide by
- 24:51what he hears with his ears, but with righteousness He will judge
- 24:55the needy. With justice he will give
- 24:57decisions for the poor of the earth.
- 24:59He will strike the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with
- 25:02the breath of his lips he will slay the wicked.
- 25:05Now that sounds like Jesus righteous will be his belt and
- 25:09faithfulness. The sash around his waist.
- 25:12That's kind of, I think the description that it gets into
- 25:14about what Jesus is wearing when he returns.
- 25:19The wolf will lie, will live with the lamb, the leopard will
- 25:23lie down with the goat and the calf and the lion and the
- 25:26yearling together and a little child will lead them.
- 25:28The cow will feed with the bear. Their young will lie down
- 25:31together. I mean, this is all about that
- 25:33piece during the Millennium time frame when Jesus is ruling.
- 25:38So again, this could be like a double meaning.
- 25:43Now Jesus, when he died on the cross, he submitted to the
- 25:48Father and he said, you know, not not my will, but yours be
- 25:54done. He was asking if there is
- 25:56another way that this could happen without him basically
- 26:00going through what He knew he was going to go through on the
- 26:02cross. So then in Isaiah 11, chapter 3,
- 26:07we did. Yeah, we read that already.
- 26:09Isaiah chapter 33, verse six. He will be the sure foundation
- 26:14for your times, a rich store of salvation and wisdom and
- 26:19knowledge. The fear of the Lord is the key
- 26:21to this treasure. Well, that's the chapter that
- 26:23we're on. And then in Acts Chapter 9,
- 26:26verse 31, then the church throughout Judea, Galilee and
- 26:31Samaria enjoyed a time of peace and was strengthened living in
- 26:37the fear of the Lord and encouraged by the Holy Spirit,
- 26:44it increased in numbers. So look at the positive that
- 26:48happens in a society when there is fear of the Lord and
- 26:54encouragement by the Holy Spirit.
- 26:57It's a different, I guess that was right after the Holy Spirit
- 27:02came on. The disciples and there were
- 27:04different, I mean, they were just amazing things that were
- 27:06happening during the book of Acts.
- 27:08But fear of the God, fear of God, fear of the Lord is the key
- 27:14to this treasure. That's where chapter 33 of
- 27:17Isaiah, verse 6 and saying the fear of the Lord is the key to
- 27:22this treasure. Now continuing on verse 7, look,
- 27:25they're brave men cry out aloud in the streets.
- 27:28The envoys of peace weep bitterly.
- 27:31The highways are deserted. I want to read this because I'm
- 27:36in the New International Version and I went to look into this
- 27:41deeper and when you get into what the actual words were for
- 27:46this sentence, I guess sentence 8, it is very different in the
- 27:56actual translation in the original Hebrew.
- 28:01And so I want I'll read what it says here, but when you read
- 28:06this, you get one impression. But then when you look deeper
- 28:09into Scripture, you're like, well, it doesn't quite, it's a
- 28:11bad translation is what it seems like to me are somewhat of a bad
- 28:15translation. I don't even know if I have that
- 28:17called up. I think I need to get that one
- 28:23located before I try to read that Isaiah verse.
- 28:30I guess 30 or chapter 33, verse 6, verse 8.
- 28:37I'm sorry. OK, so here's what it says.
- 28:44In the New International Version, the highways are
- 28:46deserted, no travellers are on the roads.
- 28:49The treaty is broken. Its witnesses are despised.
- 28:53No one is respected. So you read that and there were
- 28:58several things that came to mind when I read that.
- 29:00I thought about the treaty being broken and I thought about the
- 29:04treaty is actually Barrett or Beret and it's made me think
- 29:11about the covenant that Daniel talks about in Chapter 9 verse
- 29:1627. But of course you don't get to
- 29:20when you say the treaty because is broken.
- 29:23That's what made me think about Daniel 927 and, and I think what
- 29:29Daniel 927 says, I don't know if I had that one too, because I, I
- 29:35got to call that one up too. I thought I had these verses
- 29:41here. I don't know, maybe I switched
- 29:51over from some. I'm looking through what I had
- 29:55searched because I I know I had these called up and I think I
- 29:59may be Yeah, OK, I'll go back to that too.
- 30:04All right, let's see, getting back to the what it actually
- 30:12says. So if you go to
- 30:14blueletterbible.org and you get it to the chapter Isaiah 33 and
- 30:18you get to verse 8, on the left hand side, there's a tools
- 30:22button that you can press. And when you do, it shows the
- 30:26Masoretic Text. It shows the English, it shows
- 30:29strongs, it shows the Hebrew, the actual Hebrew word.
- 30:35So this is the let's see the I don't know what version that is.
- 30:48OK, this is an English NASB is what it's is what it comes up on
- 30:55the left. And so here's what it says on
- 30:58the translation for that sentence that I just read.
- 31:01The highways are desolate. The traveler has ceased.
- 31:05He has broken the covenant. He has despised the cities.
- 31:11He has no regard for man. So it, it kind of, you know, it
- 31:17doesn't say it's witnesses. It says, you know, this says no
- 31:20regard for man. And so it, it, it kind of says
- 31:25the same thing, but it's kind of different.
- 31:27Let me read both of these things in one after the other.
- 31:33The highways are deserted, no travellers are on the roads.
- 31:36The Treaty is broken, its witnesses are despised, and no
- 31:41one is respected. The other one says the highways
- 31:46are desolate. The traveller has ceased, He has
- 31:49broken the Covenant, He has despised the cities.
- 31:53He has no regard for man. So the interesting thing about
- 31:59that when it says he has broken the covenant.
- 32:02So what I did is I searched where how many times is covenant
- 32:07used? And I don't want to lose my
- 32:09place again. But I just looked through pages
- 32:12and pages in the Blue Letter Bible where it will show you
- 32:17every time that word beret is used and we get a lot of
- 32:20insight. I don't know how long this
- 32:22podcast is all right already, but yeah, it's already 32
- 32:26minutes. So I'm not going to to go into
- 32:28all of the verses because there's several pages, but it
- 32:31would be something if you're more interested in that to
- 32:34search, you know, find the word covenant or go to Daniel 927, it
- 32:39says covenant in there. Click on that word and then
- 32:42it'll show you all the places where covenant is used.
- 32:45Because that gives us an understanding because there were
- 32:48a lot of covenants that were made.
- 32:50But like one of the covenants is that God will be the only God,
- 32:55will be the one true God. And I think that's probably the
- 32:59most important. Just like Jesus said, you know
- 33:02that when someone asked him, like what are the most
- 33:04important? Love God and love your neighbors
- 33:08as yourself. So that that seems like the
- 33:11covenant, probably the most important covenant of all is to
- 33:16put God first. And and then there's other
- 33:19covenants like God made a covenant that he would never
- 33:22flood the earth again. And the rainbow is symbolic of
- 33:26that. He also made a covenant with the
- 33:28people of Israel that they would have this land that had certain
- 33:33boundaries that he gave early on.
- 33:36That's another covenant. And then maybe there's more
- 33:40covenants that God made with mankind, but those are the 2
- 33:43that are standing out to me right now in my mind.
- 33:46But then this, this other covenant, it says the treaty or
- 33:50if you want to say the covenant is broken, you know, I wanted to
- 33:54know what does that mean? Does that mean, you know, what
- 34:00is that referring to? And I don't know that I
- 34:02necessarily have the, the correct answer for that.
- 34:06But when I when I was reading it, it made me think about
- 34:10Daniel 927 and what Daniel 927 says.
- 34:14He will confirm a covenant notice.
- 34:17He will confirm so the covenants already made.
- 34:20He will confirm a covenant with many for 1/7.
- 34:26In the middle of the seven he will put an end to sacrifice and
- 34:32offering. And at at the temple he will set
- 34:38up an abomination and in actually it says at the temple.
- 34:43But again, that's a translation issue because the sutuigent and
- 34:48Theodosian Hebrew says wing and at the wing.
- 34:53So that's on the end. So a lot of people say the
- 34:57temple has to be prepared first. It doesn't have to be prepared
- 35:01first that an end to the sacrifice and offering could
- 35:06happen without the temple, because all this says is is the
- 35:10Hebrew word is wing. So on a certain end or a certain
- 35:15portion of the area, he will set up an abomination that causes
- 35:21desolation until the end, that is, that is decreed is poured
- 35:27out on him. So again, let's read this again.
- 35:35He will confirm a covenant with many for 1/7.
- 35:38In the middle of the seven he will put an end to sacrifice and
- 35:42offering, and at the wing he will set up an abomination that
- 35:48causes desolation until the end that is decreed is poured out on
- 35:52him. And this is what Jesus talks
- 35:54about. Like when he was giving in
- 35:57Matthew chapter 24, he gives you the list of all the things that
- 36:01will happen at the end times. And he said he talks about this
- 36:07when this abomination of desolation happens for people to
- 36:09flee, he said, let the reader beware.
- 36:12And, you know, reflect on what was said in Daniel in, in in the
- 36:18book of Daniel. And so I think it's this is what
- 36:21it's talking about that midway through this agreement, he
- 36:25thinks are, you know, the the covenant that was signed is
- 36:28going to not prevail and it's going to cause a lot of
- 36:34problems. So in Daniel 11 chapter 22, it
- 36:38says then an overwhelming army will be swept away before him.
- 36:42Both it and a Prince of the covenant will be destroyed.
- 36:46So I think there's multiple people who are involved in this
- 36:49covenant. And I don't, I don't know what
- 36:53all of you think, but from this description, it seems like the
- 36:58Abraham Accords would be a very, it would fit this type of a
- 37:03covenant because it, it's made-up of many people and all
- 37:09of these new nations are coming into this agreement with the
- 37:14covenant. And, and because it's called the
- 37:18Abraham Accords, the Abrahamic aggrievement, and it's a, you
- 37:24know, a covenant with them. And this started out, I guess it
- 37:31started out in 2020. So in the middle, which we would
- 37:38be probably past the middle at this point, I would say if
- 37:41that's the covenant, you would put an end to the desk or end to
- 37:48the sacrifice and offering. That's what everybody's kind of
- 37:50looking for. So again, people always have
- 37:53been guessing for years of what the covenant is.
- 37:56And, and it's just, there's going to be an 7A block of
- 38:02seven. A lot of people, I have a lot of
- 38:05scholars have suggested this is a grouping of seven years to
- 38:10confirm a covenant. And we may all have this
- 38:13understand like a bad understanding of this.
- 38:16But anyway, this is we're talking about the covenant and
- 38:20that word beret in Daniel 11 verse 28, The king of the north
- 38:26will return to his own country with great wealth, but his heart
- 38:31will be sent set against the holy covenant.
- 38:35He will take action against it and then return to his own
- 38:39country. So the holy covenant, his heart
- 38:43will be set against the holy covenant.
- 38:45What covenant is that? Is that the covenant?
- 38:50But actually, I mean, what it seems to me, and I this came to
- 38:53me before, was that this holy covenant is that the one true
- 38:57God is the God of the people. And just like this, this Lawless
- 39:041 proclaims to be God. He wants to be God.
- 39:09Like this is probably Satan possessing a human being, if not
- 39:14Satan himself. But it's probably a human being.
- 39:16I don't know. Maybe it's Satan himself, who
- 39:18knows he can appear as an Angel of light.
- 39:20Maybe it is Satan that will actually proclaim to be God.
- 39:25It doesn't say that in Scripture.
- 39:27It just talks about a man. So just like Satan possessed
- 39:31Judas, it said that I think Satan left him to So there's
- 39:35something spiritual that can happen through Satan.
- 39:38He's not, I guess he's a, he's a fallen Angel as I understand,
- 39:43but he it does in the Gospels. It really does seem like he
- 39:48possessed Judas. Like I think there was something
- 39:52about Satan having possessed him, like he was at the table
- 39:57having dinner with the Lord and that's when Satan had already
- 40:00like entered him. I think that's what it was like.
- 40:03He can enter somebody. So I think maybe Satan will
- 40:07enter this lawless man, this one who claims to be God, because he
- 40:11will be basically having this person do what Satan has always
- 40:15wanted, to be worshipped as God. And that's where Satan's getting
- 40:19his, you know, one day of fame here.
- 40:23So maybe he's a king out of the North and he you know, he's his
- 40:28hardest sent against the holy covenant, like the people have
- 40:31the one God and he wants to be that.
- 40:34In Chapter 11, verse 30, it says ships of the western coastlands
- 40:40will oppose him and he will lose heart.
- 40:43Then he will turn back and vent his fury against the holy
- 40:46covenant. He will return and show favor to
- 40:49those who forsake the holy covenant.
- 40:52So maybe those who worship him rather than God.
- 40:55And it's just like this is the also makes me think about the
- 40:58mark of the beast, where when the mark of the beast is rolled
- 41:03out, it's can buy or sell. They can't do anything.
- 41:06So you're, they're forced to worship the beast and and you
- 41:13give up your worship of God. So this is where, you know, I
- 41:18guess that's why people cannot be forgiven if they make that
- 41:22choice to get whatever this mark of the beast is that will be
- 41:26required for people to buy and sell.
- 41:29Because you're basically saying you're turning over your
- 41:33alliance, you're no longer worshipping God, but you're
- 41:37worshipping this other beast like you're trading.
- 41:39You're those who want to save their life will lose it.
- 41:43So we have to remember that verse from Scripture too, is
- 41:46that if we turn against God and we accept this mark of the beast
- 41:51so that we can buy and sell and live like everything everyone
- 41:54will be doing, that's going to be short lived because those,
- 41:58all those who take the mark of the beast will be subject to
- 42:01God's wrath. And we have to remember that.
- 42:05So in Daniel Chapter 11, verse 32, with flattery, he will
- 42:10corrupt those who have violated the covenant, but the people who
- 42:15know their God will firmly resist him.
- 42:19So somehow he's going to flatter people and the ones who have
- 42:25violated the covenant, the ones who maybe worship him as opposed
- 42:30to God, like they turn away from God and they're worshipping that
- 42:33person instead of the one true God.
- 42:36And this is where people need to know their God.
- 42:39We can't just have like know of him, but we have to know him
- 42:44because there's going to be a very great deception that if
- 42:49people don't know God, truly know God, we will be deceived.
- 42:54It says that there will be a exception if possible, even the
- 42:58elect could be deceived by it. And then in Hosea, it says in
- 43:05that day I will make a covenant for them with the beasts of the.
- 43:09I mean, this is talking like a negative thing, a covenant of
- 43:12them with the beasts of the field, the birds in the sky and
- 43:14the creatures that move along the ground.
- 43:15This is everything wicked bow, bow and sword and battle I will
- 43:20abolish from the land so that all may lie down in safety.
- 43:23So there's there's a point where people are going to get what
- 43:28they've done to others and evil is going to be the food for the
- 43:35beasts and the birds during at this particular time.
- 43:41But they're in Hosea chapter 6, verse 7, as at Adam or like
- 43:50human beings, they have broken the covenant.
- 43:53They were unfaithful to me there.
- 43:55I think this is all about worship.
- 43:57And then in Hosea chapter 8, verse one, it says, put the
- 44:01trumpet to your lips. An eagle is over the House of
- 44:05the Lord because the people have broken my covenant and rebelled
- 44:09against my law. So an eagle is usually depicted
- 44:14as an unclean bird in, I guess Leviticus, where there's clean
- 44:20and unclean animals. And you know, it's interesting,
- 44:23put the trumpet to your lips. An eagle so that something
- 44:27unclean is over the House of the Lord because the people have
- 44:32broken my covenant and rebelled against my law like the 10
- 44:37commandments. So anyway, there's a lot in
- 44:41there about covenant, but that's all that I'm going to cover
- 44:43right now and go back to Scripture.
- 44:45Oh, the thing about Isaiah 33 where the verse 8 where the
- 44:52sentences sound, you know, they sound similar but different, but
- 44:56it says like he has no regard for man.
- 45:01I looked up what man was in this verse and it's something
- 45:05different which gives a little different interpretation of it.
- 45:10So the outline of the biblical usage, it's Enos or Enos.
- 45:17I don't know how to say that actually.
- 45:19Enosh. It looks like enosh and it's the
- 45:23Hebrew word Enos and it's a man, a mortal man, person or mankind.
- 45:34So what that sentence says basically, if you think about
- 45:39it, what if this is referring to Satan and referring to mortal
- 45:44men, because Satan is not mortal, but mankind is.
- 45:49So let me read the verse again. The highways are desolate.
- 45:53The traveller has ceased. So there's going to be a a
- 45:56strange time. He has broken the covenant.
- 45:59He has despised the cities. He has no regard for man.
- 46:04But this isn't just any man. This is about mortal men.
- 46:09So it seems like this could very well be about Satan and whether
- 46:13or not he possesses the man who's going to be the lawless 1
- 46:17who claims to be God on the temple.
- 46:19I mean, that would be, you know, giving Satan what he wants.
- 46:22So that's perhaps what it is. And perhaps when people take the
- 46:25mark of the beast, they're actually taking the mark of
- 46:28Satan. So all right, let's go back to
- 46:31Scripture. The land dries up and wastes
- 46:34away. Lebanon is ashamed and Withers.
- 46:37Sharon is like a raba and Bashan and Caramel dropped their
- 46:43leaves. So what was Sig?
- 46:47What was the significance of Beshan and Carmel dropping their
- 46:51leaves? Beshan was northeast of the Sea
- 46:55of Galilee, east of the Jordan, and Carmel was West of the Sea
- 47:00of Galilee on the Mediterranean coast.
- 47:02Both regions were known for their trees and less vegetation.
- 47:06For them to drop their leaves meant a time of terrible
- 47:08bareness for the whole land, A figurative but sure sign of
- 47:12God's judgment against His people.
- 47:15Then it says on verse 11, you conceive chaff, you give birth
- 47:20to straw, your breath is a fire that consumes you.
- 47:24The peoples will be burned to ashes like cut thorn bushes.
- 47:29They will be set ablaze. So that's almost like the
- 47:33burning lake of sulphur when they're going to be set ablaze.
- 47:37And it also reminded me of what was left after the the wheat
- 47:42harvest. When you get into the wheat and
- 47:46the tares it talks about in Matthew chapter 13, it says
- 47:51while everyone was sleeping, his enemy or Satan came and sowed
- 47:56weeds among the wheat and then went away.
- 48:01When the wheat sprouted and formed heads, then the weeds
- 48:06also appeared. And that's in verse 26.
- 48:11Verse 30 says let both grow together until the harvest.
- 48:17At that time, I will tell the harvesters first collect the
- 48:21weeds and tie them into bundles to be burned.
- 48:27Then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn.
- 48:32So there's a separation of what Satan has sown and what God has.
- 48:38And at this time we all look similar.
- 48:42But at the time of the harvest, that's when people are going to
- 48:46really know who is aligned with whom.
- 48:50And that's Matthew chapter 13, if you want to read that whole
- 48:54thing. But again, we have in this
- 48:58little fact, even the people that you hear themselves call
- 49:01themselves Christians because there's a lot of people that
- 49:04call themselves Christians, but they don't live like Christ.
- 49:09They haven't made Christ Lord of their life.
- 49:12They rebel against God. They live however they want to
- 49:15live and they call themselves a Christian.
- 49:19Well, that's going to be known. We're not to judge other people,
- 49:24we're to warn them. But at the time of the harvest,
- 49:27when Jesus returns, we're going to know who is actually the
- 49:31wheat and who were the weeds. The people that do not go with
- 49:36Jesus when he comes to gather are going to be the weeds.
- 49:39They're going to be the ones who will be burnt, the ones who will
- 49:43be subject to the wrath of God. So then it says in chapter verse
- 49:5213, you who were far away, hear what I have done.
- 49:56You who are near acknowledge my power.
- 49:59The sinners in Zion are terrified again when the Lord
- 50:03returns the sinners. So again, this whole chapter, I
- 50:08don't think it was really back in that time unless it had a
- 50:11double meaning and some of it wasn't fulfilled.
- 50:14But the sinners in Zion, why would the sinners, what you
- 50:17know, like if it's Syria is coming on all these people,
- 50:20wouldn't everyone in Zion be terrified?
- 50:23But it says the sinners in Zion are terrified because God's
- 50:28coming back for wrath when he comes.
- 50:30Jesus is coming back for wrath when he returns.
- 50:33It's not going to be but he's also gathering his people.
- 50:37So if you are have a good relationship with him, you're
- 50:41not feared about when he returns because you know that he's there
- 50:45to gather. Just like it talked about the
- 50:47wheat and the tares or the wheat and the weeds.
- 50:49The wheat will be gathered and put into his barn into his
- 50:52storage. Maybe I, I'm thinking somewhere
- 50:56we're going to the place. Maybe it's in the heavenly
- 50:59realms away from everything that's happening on the earth,
- 51:03but in some way we will be protected at that point when
- 51:07before the wrath of God occurs. But the sinners, those who have
- 51:12rejected God, the sinners in Zion are terrified, Trembling
- 51:16grips the godless. So they are without God.
- 51:19They don't. They rejected God and they see
- 51:22that oh, this is real, it's coming, He's coming, this wrath
- 51:25of God that these people have been talking about.
- 51:28Because remember also there were these two witnesses.
- 51:31Now whether they are literally 2 people or they are symbolic of
- 51:37multiple peoples doing this, which we'll find out in the end,
- 51:42right? But everybody's having the
- 51:43opportunity to hear about God these days.
- 51:46And because of the Internet is spread all over.
- 51:49I mean, it's amazing how far a podcast, a website, whatever can
- 51:54go, like how many people will hear the same message.
- 51:58So we are not without warning, we all get warning, but do we
- 52:03heed to it? Do we have the fear of the Lord,
- 52:05and do we then take actions by it?
- 52:10Who of us can dwell with with the consuming fire?
- 52:14Who of us can dwell with everlasting burning?
- 52:18Those who walk righteously and speak what is right.
- 52:23These are saved who reject gain from extortion, so we're not
- 52:29doing evil things and keep their hands from accepting bribes.
- 52:33You know, the love of money is the root of evil.
- 52:35If we love money more than we love God, who stopped their ears
- 52:40against plots of murder. If we don't participate in evil
- 52:43things or listen to that and shut their eyes against
- 52:47contemplating evil like we don't, we're not behind creating
- 52:52evil plans. They are the ones who dwell on
- 52:57the heights, whose refuge will be the mountain fortress.
- 53:02So maybe that's we're going to be with God at that point.
- 53:06It says their bread will be supplied and water will not fail
- 53:12them, so God provides. Then it says, your eyes will see
- 53:18the king in his beauty and view a land that stretches afar.
- 53:24So this reminded me of Revelation chapter one verse 7.
- 53:29It says, look, He is coming with the clouds and every eye will
- 53:36see him, even those who pierced him, and all the peoples on
- 53:42earth will mourn because of this.
- 53:45So shall it be. Amen.
- 53:49So this is talking about the return of Jesus, and it says
- 53:53your eyes will see the King in his beauty and a view of land,
- 53:56of a land that stretches afar. In your thoughts you will ponder
- 54:02the former terror. Where is that chief officer?
- 54:07Where is the one who took the revenue?
- 54:10Where is the officer in charge of the towers?
- 54:13You will see those arrogant people no more people whose
- 54:18speech is obscure, whose language is strange and
- 54:22incomprehensible. When I read this verse 19, that
- 54:261 is really an interesting one to me because I don't think I
- 54:30really comprehend that. And today when people today when
- 54:34people know so many different languages, like what is this
- 54:38actually talking about in in verse 19?
- 54:43I don't I don't have the answer to it.
- 54:45And I just, I, I don't know, I don't know who it could be
- 54:51referring to because it's the people whose speech is obscure.
- 54:56It's definitely something foreign that it's talking about.
- 55:00And I think this is what brought what brings on the, the
- 55:07devastation of the land. And if it is, you know, Satan
- 55:12and his people, it just says whose speech is obscure, whose
- 55:18language is strange and incomprehensible.
- 55:23So here's what another version says.
- 55:25You will no longer see a fierce people, a people of
- 55:29unintelligible speech which no one comprehends, or a stammering
- 55:35tongue which no one understands. So when it talks about people, I
- 55:42don't that word is AM and it's a nation, people, people, persons,
- 55:50members of 1's people, compatriots, countrymen,
- 55:53kinsmen, kindred. I don't know it.
- 55:59I'm not sure who this might be, given the fact that so many
- 56:05different languages are known today, international languages.
- 56:09So I don't know who this you will never see this arrogant
- 56:12people, the people whose speech is obscure, whose language is
- 56:16strange and incomprehensible. And you just wonder, is there
- 56:19anything? Is there another language or
- 56:23some foreign thing that's really are these?
- 56:26Is this from the abyss? Is this like some evil, like
- 56:31angelic beings that come up from fallen angels that come up from
- 56:36the abyss? Because there's that key at the
- 56:38midpoint that it opens up the abyss and there's this great
- 56:41smoke. And is, is that why it's
- 56:45incomprehensible, because it's actually something demonic?
- 56:49I don't know. I mean, who knows, maybe we'll
- 56:52find out someday. Look on Zion, the city of our
- 56:56festivals, your eyes will see Jerusalem, a peaceful abode.
- 57:00So after all that happens, there's a peaceful abode, a tent
- 57:03that will not be not be moved. Well, I don't know if this has
- 57:08ever been the case, that it's been like a peaceful place
- 57:12that'll never be moved. Its stakes will never be pulled
- 57:14up, nor any of its ropes broken. There.
- 57:18The Lord will be our mighty one. It will be like a place of broad
- 57:24rivers and streams. No galley with oars will ride
- 57:28them. No mighty shape will sail them.
- 57:30For the Lord is our judge. The Lord is our lawgiver.
- 57:34The Lord is our King. It is He who will save us again.
- 57:40Jesus, your rigging hangs loose, the mast is not held secure, the
- 57:45sale is not spread. Then an abundance of spoils will
- 57:48be divided, and even the lame will carry off plunder.
- 57:53God's going to redistribute the land.
- 57:55He does. He does talk about that division
- 57:58when he returns and where everything will be.
- 58:00I think it's in Ezekiel, like the last chapters of Ezekiel, it
- 58:04talks where the Prince will be and where the different tribes
- 58:08will be and that there will be like foreign people who are
- 58:13survivors that will be dispersed.
- 58:15Wherever they end up, they will be a part of that tribe or
- 58:18something to that effect. So I'm going to read what
- 58:22remains from the questions and answers and then end up this
- 58:28chapter. So why this talk of chaff, straw
- 58:31and fire? The Lord was addressing the
- 58:32enemy, Assyria. All that the destroyer has
- 58:35achieved plundering the nation's was to fill his storehouses with
- 58:39dry chaff and straw. What was left after the grain
- 58:43had been harvested and threshed A tinderbox?
- 58:46His own breath would with light a serious started a fire
- 58:51sweeping across the ancient world with his imperial
- 58:54aggression with and oppression. And Isaiah said that one day God
- 58:58would bring that fire back on the one who started it.
- 59:02Is consuming. Is consuming fire a reference to
- 59:06hell? No, it's a reference to God.
- 59:10God's presence, especially when judgement is involved, is also
- 59:14often associated with fire. How will the innocent in
- 59:20Jerusalem escape judgment? Those who live righteously dwell
- 59:24on the heights, a symbol of the security found only in God.
- 59:28While sinners in Zion are terrified, the righteous enjoy
- 59:32refuge. This May primarily.
- 59:35This may refer primarily to spiritual security, since the
- 59:39atrocities of war inevitable inevitably cause innocence to
- 59:45suffer. Though Isaiah may have been
- 59:48promising the people of Judah protection if they would trust
- 59:52God rather than Egypt, when would Judah enjoy this time of
- 59:56peace? The King is either God himself
- 59:59or the future Messiah. Though this prophecy appears to
- 1:00:04describe the coming of the Messianic Age, when God's people
- 1:00:08will be safe at last, it must have provided great comfort to
- 1:00:12those facing the immediate threat posed by Assyria.
- 1:00:15The clear message is that no matter what happens, God is in
- 1:00:19control. What ships are being described
- 1:00:22here? The they are warships and the
- 1:00:25promise of the passage is that God's people will one day enjoy
- 1:00:29abundance and safety. And then it says, what does this
- 1:00:35vision describe? This is a wonderful picture of a
- 1:00:38new Jerusalem with a peace filled future that includes both
- 1:00:42spiritual and material blessings.
- 1:00:44In contrast to the impending judgment and destructive day,
- 1:00:48God's holy city will be safe and secure in the coming Messianic
- 1:00:53age. That's the thousand year reign
- 1:00:54of Christ. It will be restored to a
- 1:00:57peaceful place of celebration. Knowing their city would one day
- 1:01:00be like a tent that will not be moved must have comforted the
- 1:01:04people who were threatened with being uprooted.
- 1:01:07Though Jerusalem wasn't protected by broad rivers and
- 1:01:10streams, it would soon be as safe as a city that had such
- 1:01:16protection. Wide rivers, which are usually
- 1:01:20shallow and slow, made cities unreachable to warships and
- 1:01:24helped protect against land attack.
- 1:01:27God would be more than a protector.
- 1:01:30He would also govern the city as judge, Lawgiver, and king.
- 1:01:34Verse 23 seems to be parenthetical, focusing on the
- 1:01:39immediate historical context. Some think the ship being
- 1:01:42addressed here refers to Assyria, which would try to sail
- 1:01:46against Zion, but it would come up against a greater enemy than
- 1:01:51it had planned of the Lord. Others think the ship refers to
- 1:01:55Judah or Jerusalem, which was unprepared to sail into battle
- 1:02:00against Assyria, yet God would strike down the Assyrian
- 1:02:03invaders. Verse 24 shifts again to the
- 1:02:06future, a time when sin and sickness would be removed.
- 1:02:10For a New Testament prophecies about the New Jerusalem, see
- 1:02:14Hebrews chapter 12 verse 22 and Revelation chapter 3 verse 12,
- 1:02:20chapter 21 verses one through 5. I think I forgot to read this
- 1:02:25one verse. No one living in from Isaiah, no
- 1:02:31one living in Zion will say I am ill and the sins of those who
- 1:02:36dwell there will be forgiven. So that's the final word of
- 1:02:40encouragement that nobody's going to be ill and the sins of
- 1:02:45those who dwell there will be forgiven.
- 1:02:48Something to look forward to.
