Tragic Turnpike Collision Claims Life
A fatal crash on the Kansas Turnpike early Thursday morning claimed the life of 44-year-old Roberto Lemus after his Honda Civic was struck from behind by a Jeep Wrangler making an unsafe lane change. The collision sent Lemus’s car off the road, into a ditch, and into trees — he was pronounced dead at the scene. The Jeep driver, whose 2016 Wrangler ended up blocking the highway, is being investigated.
