- 0:08Speaker 2: Do we have to wait? Can we just get into it?
- 0:10Speaker 2: Do we have to He's Tony Katz ninety three WIBC,
- 0:14Speaker 2: Good morning, the popcort Moment. Let's go, Let's go, Let's go,
- 0:17Speaker 2: Let's go. It's a story you need to hear to believe.
- 0:20Speaker 1: Then grab your popcorn because there is more really quick.
- 0:27Speaker 1: This whole story about Billy Long being removed as the
- 0:30Speaker 1: IRS Commissioner just two months into the job. He is
- 0:33Speaker 1: now going to become the ambassador to Iceland. So if
- 0:36Speaker 1: you ask me, hey, is that a demotion, the answer
- 0:39Speaker 1: is yeah, yeah, there's no.
- 0:42Speaker 2: Question that it's a demotion. The question is why did
- 0:45Speaker 2: it happen? There is.
- 0:50Speaker 1: What's the word I'm looking for? There is a rumor
- 0:56Speaker 1: out there that the Trump administration wanted some specific information
- 1:07Speaker 1: relating to taxes of people in the country illegally, and
- 1:11Speaker 1: the I R S wouldn't turn it over, and so therefore.
- 1:15Speaker 2: He was removed. I can't tell you if that's true.
- 1:18Speaker 1: Billy Long's former congressman from Missouri and is now going
- 1:23Speaker 1: to be moving over to be the Ambassador of Iceland.
- 1:27Speaker 1: Scott Bessant is going to be leading the I R
- 1:30Speaker 1: S as Treasury Secretary on an interim basis. He's trying
- 1:34Speaker 1: to get as many titles as Marco Rubio has. Basically,
- 1:39Speaker 1: that's that's that's what's happening there. So that was an
- 1:43Speaker 1: interesting story, and I think some people wanted to create
- 1:47Speaker 1: some drama for that for like a half a minute
- 1:49Speaker 1: and then and then nothing.
- 1:51Speaker 2: Nothing came up of it, absolutely nothing.
- 1:55Speaker 1: Then there was this I wasn't gonna do a whole
- 2:00Speaker 1: redistricting conversation. You know what, I'm going to hold the
- 2:02Speaker 1: redistricting conversation. I'm gonna hold that because jab Pritzker was
- 2:07Speaker 1: an absolute treat. Can I share with you, Senator Kelly
- 2:10Speaker 1: of Arizona talking about the border. When something is working,
- 2:18Speaker 1: stop trying to make people think that it's not working.
- 2:23Speaker 1: It's a very odd thing that the America favors what's
- 2:27Speaker 1: happening with the border, and the political left keeps pushing
- 2:32Speaker 1: back on this.
- 2:33Speaker 2: That is so Fetch, Gretchen, stop trying to make Fetch happen.
- 2:37Speaker 2: It's not going to happen. In this case. Fetch has happened.
- 2:42Speaker 2: The border is a success.
- 2:45Speaker 1: The stopping of people crossing illegally, the removal of people
- 2:50Speaker 1: from the country, the arrests of those are here illegally.
- 2:54Speaker 2: It's a success.
- 2:56Speaker 1: The argument from the left is that it is possible
- 3:01Speaker 1: that someone got caught up in it. This is their
- 3:04Speaker 1: argument that someone got caught up in it. This is
- 3:08Speaker 1: Senator Mark Kelly. I think it right right now.
- 3:14Speaker 3: I think you have to draw a distinction with what
- 3:16Speaker 3: is going on at the border and enforcing border security
- 3:20Speaker 3: and making sure fentanyl isn't coming through our southern border,
- 3:25Speaker 3: but also the smuggling of migrants that wasn't working, but
- 3:30Speaker 3: rounding up people in their communities and mass deportation and
- 3:36Speaker 3: ICE agents showing up massed at schools. I've been trying
- 3:41Speaker 3: to help out a kid that's in detention. He was
- 3:43Speaker 3: fourteen years old. He lives in Chandler, Arizona, and he
- 3:47Speaker 3: was picked up going to school. I had another situation
- 3:52Speaker 3: here with a kid who was on his little league
- 3:56Speaker 3: trip in a baseball tournament. Border patrol pulled over the vehicle,
- 4:01Speaker 3: identifies as a brown kid. He winds up in lock
- 4:05Speaker 3: up for.
- 4:06Speaker 2: The brown kid. We get it. We get it.
- 4:08Speaker 1: Like you actually care about brown kids, Senator Kelly don't.
- 4:11Speaker 2: Don't.
- 4:12Speaker 1: If you cared about brown kids and black kids, you
- 4:14Speaker 1: would have been talking about the border when Joe Biden
- 4:16Speaker 1: was in office, but you didn't, and Representative Cosia Cortez didn't.
- 4:20Speaker 1: Although she takes those photo ops and she cries at
- 4:22Speaker 1: the border wearing all white like she's going to a
- 4:24Speaker 1: Memorial Day party, you don't care about black and brown kids.
- 4:28Speaker 2: Who are you kidding?
- 4:29Speaker 1: I would say it to your face without any hesitation. You,
- 4:33Speaker 1: Senator Mark Kelly, don't care about black and brown children.
- 4:36Speaker 1: Please don't bring that up. You didn't care when Joe
- 4:40Speaker 1: Biden was in office. Now, if I miss something, I'll
- 4:43Speaker 1: be the first guy to apologize. But as a party,
- 4:45Speaker 1: you don't. You don't care of Cosio Cortez. Representative Costa
- 4:49Speaker 1: Cortez doesn't care. But I think that we have a
- 4:53Speaker 1: real story time here where you want us to feel
- 5:00Speaker 1: feel bad because a kid going to school was arrested.
- 5:03Speaker 2: A couple things.
- 5:05Speaker 1: Should the kid have been in the country, that's number one,
- 5:07Speaker 1: that's a legitimate question, how did they get to the country.
- 5:11Speaker 2: Number two, if my kids, your kids.
- 5:15Speaker 1: Sell lemonade without a permit, police come and shut us down.
- 5:21Speaker 1: Can I help you, Senator Kelly, This is the argument
- 5:25Speaker 1: you want to make.
- 5:27Speaker 2: This is the argument you want to make.
- 5:32Speaker 1: I have kids all across the country who go without
- 5:37Speaker 1: Who are American citizens who have issues? Who are American
- 5:39Speaker 1: citizens who get abused by the system, American citizens.
- 5:46Speaker 2: Were these kids in the country legally or not? Who is?
- 5:49Speaker 1: Where are their parents? Where are their guardians? What's going
- 5:52Speaker 1: on here? With all due respect, we're dealing with a
- 5:55Speaker 1: large scale problem that both parties ignored and your party
- 6:01Speaker 1: exacerbated over four years because you were unwilling to state
- 6:05Speaker 1: that Joe Biden wasn't competent and wasn't capable being president,
- 6:08Speaker 1: and Alejandro Mayorcis was a joke, a joke of a
- 6:13Speaker 1: human being, a joke of a Homeland Security secretary.
- 6:19Speaker 2: You don't have an argument here. You don't have anything
- 6:22Speaker 2: close to an argument here.
- 6:25Speaker 1: And if this is what you want to try and
- 6:26Speaker 1: sell America, you're more than welcome to try and sell
- 6:29Speaker 1: America this. But it won't connect with a single swing voter.
- 6:34Speaker 1: You cannot gain a vote, You can only lose votes
- 6:37Speaker 1: with this concept. So I don't know, just keep doing it,
- 6:40Speaker 1: But my gosh, lots of ways American citizens get abused
- 6:47Speaker 1: and kids. No commentary on that, only about they went
- 6:53Speaker 1: after the brown kid. You're kidding nobody. You only care
- 7:00Speaker 1: about black and brown kids when it's good for your politics.
- 7:03Speaker 1: Otherwise you don't care. And I believe your own actions,
- 7:08Speaker 1: and the actions of Representative cost of Cortes, and the
- 7:10Speaker 1: actions of the Democratic Party at large prove that. Anytime
- 7:14Speaker 1: you want to discuss it, Senator, I'm right here, happy
- 7:17Speaker 1: to do it.
