  trying to get the answer to is how does a guy who coached Auburn win

  over Alabama fans votes? You know, when I campaigned, I got that

  question all the time, almost it ever stopped. Coach you beat us six

  times in a row. I'm an Alabama fan. Why should I vote for

  you? I said, Heck, if it wasn't for me, you wouldn't

  have Nick Saban because I got the rest. Come runt all. Great answer.

  You know. I reached out to your office because I just wanted to

  say, first and foremost, thank you. Thank you for fighting for life.

  And I want you to explain and do a little separating a fact from
• 0:51
  fiction on your principal stance against the Pentagon and the Secretary of Defense and the

  decision to use tax payer money to pay for abortions. Well, first of
• 1:03
  all, thank you. It's been a fight. It's been going on a
• 1:07
  year now. I wrote a letter to the Secretary of Defense and saying listen,
• 1:11
  I hear you're going to change our forty year policy we've had in the
• 1:14
  military and abortion, which has worked great for three exceptions, rape, incest,
• 1:19
  and health of the mom. But they've decided they were going to change
• 1:23
  it. This administration course has changed about everything they get their hands on.

  And I said, if you change, and I'm going to hold up your
• 1:32
  promotions of your admirals and generals until you move the policy back or till you
• 1:36
  at least make it let us vote on it, because that's what we're here
• 1:38
  for. But they change it with a membo. And I bought them hard
• 1:42
  for a year now, but it looks like they're getting ready to go around
• 1:47
  me. They're changing the rules on the Senate floor, and nothing I can
• 1:52
  do about it. Chuck Schumer is a dictator. He is a guy that
• 1:57
  if he can't get his way, he'll make sure he can find a way
• 2:00
  to get his way. And so I'm holding home, but we'll see what
• 2:06
  happens here in the next couple of weeks. I noticed, and we talked
• 2:08
  about on the program, Senator, that you had a large number of your
• 2:14
  your Republican caucus members in the Senate sign on to a letter demanding that the
• 2:19
  Secretary stopped the policy which breaks the law. Oh by the way, but
• 2:23
  are there enough standing with you to stop this end around that Schumer's trying to
• 2:28
  do. No, not really. I think it's you know, for some
• 2:35
  reason, the Democrats, they stay lockstep with each other, but when it
• 2:38
  comes to Republicans, we have some that sometimes unfortunately sided with the Democrats,
• 2:46
  and it's put us in harm's way. And you know, I tell them
• 2:50
  in our caucus meetings when I talk just the Republicans that coach why are you
• 2:54
  doing this? That said, Well, I ran on pro life, I
• 2:57
  mean Alabama pro life, and I know the Republican Party says we're pro life.

  So either we're going to stand up for it or we're going to cave
• 3:06
  in like we're always doing anything else to the Democrats. And so it's been
• 3:09
  frustrating. I've been challenged by some of my Republican colleagues several times. A

  few weeks ago, I was on the floor from eleven at night to four
• 3:19
  in the morning trying to fight my Republican colleagues off of trying to get me
• 3:23
  to change it. But I stood ground for almost five hours, I guess,
• 3:29
  But you know that's part of it. You know, I'm not a
• 3:31
  politician. I'm a citizen in this country that loves United States of America,
• 3:37
  and I've seen a lot of things up here now in my first three years
• 3:39
  that I'm not proud of, and I'm very scared for our country because we
• 3:44
  have got a lot of problems and the American people deserve so much better.

  Chuck Schumer is trying to do and changing the rules, but he can't change

  the law. Can't he can't change the law. But they have a bunch

  changed a lot of laws that people would never even recognize. It's the little
• 4:30
  things up here that people don't see that usually build up and up and up.

  But yeah, he's I gave a scathing talk to the Armed Service Committee
• 4:39
  esday was a close hearing about we're putting our budget together, and in that
• 4:42
  budget from the House was language that kept the old policy back into the military,
• 4:47
  and we're supposed to vote on a House and Senate together to see what
• 4:54
  stays in. So I was looking forward to voting on that because I had
• 4:57
  Democratic votes, it was going to pass. The Humor himself pulled it out
• 5:00
  before it came in, and I gave a because it's a sham. I
• 5:04
  mean, it's run by dictatorship up here, the Shumer in Biden, and
• 5:09
  when Pelosi was running the show, I mean it was ugly every day.

  And folks, we have spent five trillion dollars more in the last three years
• 5:16
  we should have spent yep, we print one hundred thousand dollars a minute.

  I want you to think about that. We print one hundred thousand dollars minut.

  We don't have any money. We're broke. In September the eighteenth,
• 5:28
  we went thirty three trillion dollars in debt in two months. These some of
• 5:31
  the fifteenth will go by, will be another tree. And in debt.

  That's how much money the Democrats are spending right now, and they're putting us
• 5:40
  in harms way. Well, we're already in harm's way. The crime,
• 5:44
  the border, in three foign wars that were just staring down the barrel of
• 5:49
  a gun. I mean these people have no clue, I mean no clue
• 5:53
  what they're doing other than the fact that they want to keep power and change
• 5:57
  and transition this country in something that hadn't been into it forty seven years.

  How do you determine your best use of time? Look your coach, and

  there's not a successful coach that's ever coached any sport anywhere that isn't really good

  at managing their time and determining what's the most effective thing they can do.

  So behind life, which I'm proud you're standing for, is it the economy?

  Is it our debt? What? How do you determine what's most important

  to fight for? Well, what you do is you look where's the money

  going, where's the Where are we spending the most money right now? What's

  most detriment to this country is a border. I've met with a Mexican official

  yesterday and we've let almost ten million people in and he was telling me,
• 6:46
  Coach, we've hired thirty eight thousand new Border Patrol National Guards people in southern
• 6:50
  Mexico to help you out. We're holding half of them back the next year
• 6:55
  in political year. People are hearing that they might not be able to get
• 7:00
  then after a Republican gets elected next year. So you're going to be overwhelmed.

  I think, by god, we're already overwhelmed. Listen to this.

  In two years. In two years, Joe Biden and the Democrats have spent

  five hundred billion dollars on illegal immigrants. Now President Trump wanted eight billion to

  build a wall, and now we've spent five hundred billion dollars in two years

  of your taxpayer money for illegals coming across simply because they want them to be
• 7:30
  able to vote and keep them in power. It's embarrassing. So where it's
• 7:41
  not just embarrassing, it's overwhelming. Do you find yourself with a counterpart now

  in the House and Mike Johnson, what do you know of the new speaker?

  Yeah, talked to me yesterday quite a bit, good guy. Obviously

  he's overwhelmed because he's he's he's trying to heard cabs over there because he's only

  got a three or four vote margin of majority, and he's got to get
• 8:05
  a city votes as he can to get something passed. And it's it's really
• 8:09
  hard. And so right now, of course, the Democrats want to send

  one hundred b and more dollars in Ukraine, which is the biggest joke in
• 8:16
  the world. That's nothing but a scam, and they're stealing everything and they
• 8:18
  can't win. They can't win. And I'm all for Ukraine, but they
• 8:22
  can't win. But and now you know, of course we want to help
• 8:26
  Israel, but we're out of money, and we want to say, listen,
• 8:31
  if we don't give any more money, that's going to go out of
• 8:33
  our borders as Republicans, shut the border down, close it down, give
• 8:39
  us a chance, give us a chance to regroup in our country and really
• 8:43
  know what's going on. Because the crime's out of crime. Our economy,
• 8:48
  uh, you know, everything is going to heck in a handbasket. But
• 8:52
  they don't care. Just it amazes me that the Democrats don't care, and
• 8:58
  people say, well, he's Republican, that's what you're going folks. This

  ain't about Republican and Democrats. This is about an American or an anti American,

  And all you've got to do is what's what's going on in our streets.

  It's happened in Europe for the last ten years. Europe is gone because

  of immigration, and we're losing the same thing here because we've got people in
• 9:16
  this country now, hundreds and thousands of them that could care less about the
• 9:22
  United States of America. It could care less, and that the same thing
• 9:24
  happened in Europe. So folks, we have got to be careful for our
• 9:28
  kids and grandkids were broke. I wish I could give you some good news,

  but we are fighting. There's about fifteen or twenty of us in the
• 9:39
  Senate now. We've got some Republicans that, like I said, they will
• 9:43
  sway to the other side some, but we've got fifteen or twenty and the
• 9:46
  two there and the Senators in Florida are really good. And we fight every
• 9:52
  day to slow this train down because hopefully next November we can change the momentum
• 9:58
  and get somebody into the office in the White House that will go along with
• 10:03
  the American people and not for people overseas. We have to save the United
• 10:07
  States because when and if we go on, it will hurt the whole world,
• 10:13
  and we're heading in that direction. Senator, I'm going to keep reaching
