- 6:45support this here podcast that you love so much. All Right, I want
- 6:54to say a couple of things before we get into the show, because something
- 6:58is really really bother me. And trust me when I tell you this that
- 7:10the Lone Gumming Podcast will be doing so much deeper dives into what I'm about
- 7:16to address here. Now. It seems to me that a lot of people,
- 7:25a lot of them are Johnny come Lately. I think that they have
- 7:29solved the jfk assassination here at the sixties Anniversary, people like Jay Weedner,
- 7:42people like Rider Lee, people like Non Hanky, people like Cory Hughes.
- 7:53Believe me when I tell you we are going to tear apart these theories once
- 8:05and for all. Because I consume a lot of podcast people, and I
- 8:11hear these guys making their rounds. But you know one show that they don't
- 8:15call or contact to come on. It's this one. And that's for a
- 8:20reason, because they know there's no way in hell they're gonna come off look
- 8:28at any kind of good on this show. Documentary JFK X will be thoroughly
- 8:41dismantled, and another documentary called JFK Murder Solved. The new documentary by John
- 8:48Hankey is going to be thoroughly dismantled. So stay tuned for that, folks.
- 8:56Because here we are, sixty years later, we still don't have all
- 9:03the answers. We still don't have all of the divisive and decisive information that
- 9:09we need to thoroughly put together a narrative that everybody will be happy with.
- 9:22We don't have that smoking gun evidence that is undeniable to everyone. It doesn't
- 9:31exist. While there has been some good research into this case in the past,
- 9:39sixty years. There has also been a lot of horse's assery research in
- 9:48the past sixty years that continues to this very day to muddy the waters implicitly
- 10:00listitly, and it's so disheartening that see what comes out that people want to
- 10:11grab a quick buck off of because they think they got a sucker, and
- 10:15there is a sucker born every minute. P. T. Barnum was right,
- 10:24and they will make some money and they will spawn hundreds and thousands of
- 10:31minions out there who think that they did solve the JFK assassination out there sputtering
- 10:37their nonsense into the wind, into the groups, into the discussion, into
- 10:45the water, where things just get muddier and muddier and muddier. So we
- 10:56will be spending some time in the near future early dismantling these documentaries. Now.
- 11:05Corey, on the other hand, he put a book out and it
- 11:11was nice enough to send me a copy, and I've started reading it and
- 11:16there is some good information in it. However, he goes down some crazy
- 11:24roads and I'll let you guys read it and make up your own mind about
- 11:30it, but just know your boy warned you. So that being said,
- 11:45I'm hearing reports the lnser went very well. That there was a lot of
- 11:50fun had there, a lot of fun interactions, a lot of fun times,
- 11:58and that's all we good to hear, you know, a lot of
- 12:01good information shared. So whados to the editors and Larry Hancock for pulling off
- 12:09another success well conference in Dallas, and you know, hats off to them
- 12:18for selling it out. And I wish I could have been there, but
- 12:26you know, the reports were good. Hats off to Joe, my buddy
- 12:31down there, who went the extra mile and did some things for our presentation.
- 12:39So hats off to him, and I'm glad he was there to do
- 12:43that and take the brunt of the of the praise and the ah who poors.
- 12:58So I told him, I see, any time you present new information
- 13:01out there, you're going to have people who are going to want to poopoo
- 13:03you, poo poo, poo, poo, poo poo. They will come
- 13:07out of the woodwork to po poo you. Before we even got this presentation
- 13:13ready for the answer, people were coming out of the woodworks to could pool
- 13:18us people that we were working with to try to share information and get information
- 13:26from try to get a better understanding of things. People that we're working with.
- 13:30Try to could pool us pooh poo, pooh poo pooh. So again,
- 13:37heads off to Jobie down there. I know, I know he had
- 13:45a great time. And you'll be hearing more from Joe moving forward on this
- 13:50very show and the reason that I picked Joe to be my co host moving
- 13:56forward, And you'll understand once you meet Joe and you hear Joe speak,
- 14:01he's very passionate about the subject. He's a very he has a very smart
- 14:05analytical mind about the evidence, and he is nacious some say o CD about
- 14:15some certain things, which is not necessarily a bad thing. So look forward
- 14:22to that. You're you're gonna love Joe on the show. We get along
- 14:26great, we have good chemistry and you're gonna dig it, trust me.
- 14:33Before we get into today's show, I want to address a YouTube comment on
- 14:41the Bart Camp Show episode number two fifty eight, more than a Fuzzy Picture,
- 14:50and this comes from a long time listener, Johnny Case. Haven't heard
- 14:56from him recently, but long time listener, I'm assuming he's listens. He
- 15:01says, well, I finished mister Camp's book to watching many of his prayer
- 15:05Man videos and I have to push back on the whole thing, aside from
- 15:11the question as to who it was in the corner of the TSBD doorway,
- 15:18and the recent book actually has little to do with that question and much more
- 15:22to do with Oswald's interrogations and the second floor encounter. I have to challenge
- 15:26the whole logic of Camp's view of what went down. The problem is that
- 15:31his whole conception depends on circular logic. Theory A is correct because theory B
- 15:37is correct, and theory B is correct because theory A is correct. In
- 15:41this case, Oswald must be in the doorway because the second floor launcherm encounter
- 15:46didn't happen, and the second floor dust up didn't happen because he was front.
- 15:54Now, Rob, you're so good, too good in some cases,
- 15:56Well, thank you, Johnny, with destroying my in shibulous across the JFK
- 16:02research community. Maybe it's lhow in the doorway. Maybe not, But the
- 16:07second floor encounter didn't happen, triple question mark. Of course it happened.
- 16:14It happened because there is no conceivable logic in any plot, any plot making
- 16:18that up for what reason? How in the world is making up that story
- 16:25on the part of Trullian Baker advance anything. Of course it doesn't. What
- 16:30it does do is prove that it was impossible, combined with vickyaos and Sanders
- 16:34styles, that Oswald was anywhere near the sixth floor at the time of the
- 16:38shots. That is all it does. So what Camp does here, like
- 16:42in the goofy logic of folks like Wimfetzer, is that the second floor encounter
- 16:48didn't happen because that would make it impossible not only for Oswald to be on
- 16:52the sixth floor, but it also makes it impossible for him to have hiding
- 16:56who have been hiding in the TSB doorway. Therefore it didn't happen. Nonsense.
- 17:03Well, Johnny, you know, even talking to Bart, Bart is
- 17:10not going to tell you that it is one Lee Harvey Oswald. That's prayer
- 17:15man and I'm talking one hundred percent. Okay, Bart himself will not tell
- 17:22you that he thinks that. Now. I may be speaking that offhand here
- 17:27for Bart, but you know, just through our conversation, that is what
- 17:34I understand now when you're talking about circular logic. Look, Bart's thesis is
- 17:45based on nothing but eye witness testimony available documentation. AFFI David's interviews, notes,
- 18:00documents, and when you're talking about the school book repository workers, there's
- 18:10a lot of them. Not just a lot of workers, but also a
- 18:14lot of things that they've said in different places, things that were said in
- 18:18newspaper articles and interviews and in documents and affidavids, and questioning by the Secret
- 18:26Service, by the FBI, by the DPD. You have to take all
- 18:30this stuff into consideration, okay, And you have to see what people said,
- 18:37when they said it, where they said it, why they said it.
- 18:42So I don't wow the thesis itself, the idea. Maybe you get
- 18:52the impression that it's circular logic, but I don't think Bart is just basing
- 18:57the fact that prayer Man is the Harvey Oswald off the fact that the second
- 19:02floor and lunchroom encounter didn't happen. It's much deeper than that, Okay.
- 19:08Now, your question of why they would fake the lunchroom second floor lunch room
- 19:14encounter. What it does is it implies that Lee Harvey Oswald had made his
- 19:25way from the sixth floor and he were coming down and for whatever reason herb
- 19:30Baker and truly coming up and dipped into the second floor lunchroom where he may
- 19:37have just grabbed a coke that was sitting on the counter and standing there drinking.
- 19:42You know, nothing to see here, I'm just drinking a coke.
- 19:48Now. What doesn't support the Warren commissioned version of events, and I'm talking
- 19:55about the second floor lunch room encounter, is the fact that Jack Doherty,
- 20:06Bonnie Ray Williams, Junior Jarman, and Harold Norman we're all on the fifth
- 20:15floor. None of them mentioned hearing footsteps on the sixth floor. Not only
- 20:29did you do they and I mention that we know that the that the three
- 20:36workers, the three black workers, work in the windows near the front of
- 20:41the building, all right, and the stairway is towards the back where Jack
- 20:47Doherty said that he was. None of these four men claim to have heard
- 20:53or seen anyone come down from the sixth floor via the stairway. Then you
- 21:02have the women on the fourth floor, Victoria Adams, Okay Garner, and
- 21:14their descent from the fourth floor back stairway down to the first floor. They
- 21:22didn't see or hear Oswald and they didn't see her here Baker, and truly,
- 21:34so there you have a slight problem that in and of itself says to
- 21:42me that Oswald was not on the sixth floor at the time of the shots,
- 21:48all right, the warrant Commission had to put him so either somewhere on
- 21:53the stairs or near the stairs very shortly after the shots, according to their
- 22:00narrative, to make him a viable suspect. If Lee Harvey Oswald was on
- 22:11the first floor, whether he was out on the out front, whether he
- 22:15was in the vestibule, whether he was on the first floor itself, whether
- 22:19he was in the domino room, Okay, that meant that there would there
- 22:26wouldn't have been enough time for him to descend to make the shots, hide
- 22:33the rifle and make his way down the stairs all the way to the first
- 22:37floor to be seen by Baker, And truly there there would not have been
- 22:41enough time. They had to put it further up the building. Okay,
- 22:49So it is a complicated theory, I understand. But in order to take
- 22:56everything into account, and look, the book is great, don't get me
- 23:04wrong. Bart's book is great. But go to the website and search for
- 23:12the individual sections he did. Individual sections on the second floor lunchroom encounter and
- 23:26the people on the front steps, and what the book misses unless you go
- 23:36and you look at every hot linked footnote in there. Bart did a much
- 23:41better, in depth, detailed study of the second floor lunchroom encounter and the
- 23:48witnesses for and against this in his paper entitled the second Floor lunch Room Encounter
- 23:57Never happened. So look, before you discount anything, the logical brain will
- 24:06tell you whoever it was that was up there, as prayer Man logically would
- 24:15have worked inside the building. Okay, nobody else they worked in that building.
- 24:25There was a white worker put themselves out front, and there wasn't accounted
- 24:36for either by interview, by photographic evidence, or by eyewitness testimony, was
- 24:45Lee Harvey Oswald. He's the only one. And the chances of that person
- 24:52not being an employee of the schoolbook Depository are ninety nine to one. That
- 25:00somebody from the street would have fought their way through all those people just to
- 25:06get up to the top step of that building that they did not work in.
- 25:12And nobody remembers anybody that didn't work there squeezing their way up through the
- 25:17stairs to attain that position. So I'm not saying with one hundred percent certainty
- 25:25that that is Lee Harvey Oswald, as prayer man. But I'm also on
- 25:32a scale of one to ten that it is Lee Harvey Oswald like a nine
- 25:34point five. So whether you agree or not, just please go back and
- 25:44take everything in everything before you make your decision. All right. So that
- 25:52being said, let us move on to today's show, which is about the
- 26:00Walker Letter. It's actually one more thing before we get into the Walker Letter.
- 26:07This is hot off the press, folks. I've just been sent this
- 26:11from Paul Brown and it has to do with an article and some research,
- 26:22actual scientific research, folks. Not lab, that's k n Ott like Don
- 26:33Knott's not lab. Use this forensic science to refute the Warrant Comission's findings on
- 26:41the assassination of President John F. Kennedy from Centennial, Colorado, October twenty
- 26:48fifth, twenty twenty three. Not Labs, an industry leader in forensic engineering
- 26:56and animation for more than forty years, was commissioned to create the digital recon
- 27:00instruction of the assassination of President Kennedy to test a single bullet theory from the
- 27:04historic Warren Commission report. They have released their findings in advance of the sixtieth
- 27:08anniversary the assassination of President Kennedy. President Kennedy was assassinated on November twenty second,
- 27:15nineteen sixty three, in Dally Plaza in Dallas, Texas. The Warrant
- 27:19Commission was as symbol to investigate the shooting and issue to report in sixty four
- 27:25finding that Lee Harvey Oswald was the lone gunman, firing a total of three
- 27:30shots in the incident. However, evidence suggests a potential fourth shot from another
- 27:36location, indicating a second gunman and a wider conspiracy to kill the president.
- 27:41Not Laboratory was hired by John Orr, a former Justice Department attorney who conducted
- 27:48his own investigation as a private citizen, making trips to the National Archives to
- 27:52review every document available and even being permitted to examine an original evidence such as
- 27:56the president's shirt teen ninety five. Or sent his report to then Attorney General
- 28:03Janet Reno, which did achieve some re examination of the evidence by the FBI,
- 28:07but ultimately didn't lead to anything new or conclusive. Once Or hired NOT
- 28:12Labs in twenty eighteen, modern science was able to corroborate his theory. The
- 28:18single bullet theory concluded that one of the three shots fired from the window by
- 28:22Oswald struck both President Kennedy and Governor Connolly. The report stated that the bullet
- 28:27hit Kennedy in the back, exited his neck, entered Connolly, and the
- 28:32right armpit exited his chest, went through his right wrist and embedded in his
- 28:37left thigh. To reconstruct the scene with modern technology, the not Lab experts
- 28:42conducted a high definition laser scan of daily plaza to generate a point cloud of
- 28:48up to two million points per second to accurately measure point to point anywhere in
- 28:52the scene. Not Labs also obtained historic photographic evidence from the plaza, the
- 28:59limousine, and the Zapruiter film, which is widely known as the best footage
- 29:03of the incident in its entirety. From this point cloud, the team of
- 29:07forensic engineers was able to match images from the scene and the Zapruiter film using
- 29:12a process called photogrammetry. They modeled the presidential limousine using multiple photographs and established
- 29:19the correct dimensions of the vehicle. Through a process called match moving, they
- 29:26sinked frames from the Zapruter film into the digital recreation of the scene. The
- 29:30match moving enabled the alignment of the digital models of Kennedy and finally in the
- 29:34vehicle to establish their positions framed by frame throughout the incident. With the ability
- 29:41to measure excuse me, distances, locations and angles from the point cloud,
- 29:48we could develop the exact trajectory between Oswald's shooting position and points on each body,
- 29:53said Stanley stole CEO and principal engineer of not Labs. Our team tested
- 29:59bullets jectories using the two frames from the Zubruder film where the first shots occurred
- 30:03and the known entry and exit points on Kennedy and Connolly. Though continued the
- 30:08shooting position, bullet exit point on President Kennedy an entry point on Connolly should
- 30:14all be reasonably in line. When drawing this line from the sixth floor perch
- 30:18of the School of Depository to the positions of the two men and their entry
- 30:22and exit points, we found a significant angle difference. This case is ongoing,
- 30:27but evidence strongly suggests that there is more to the story in this historic
- 30:33event. Modern science refutes the warrener Commission's findings on the assassination of President John
- 30:38F. Kennedy. So there you go, there you go. Forensic science
- 30:51refutes the Warren Commission's findings. The angles are wrong folks for that magic bullets
- 31:00who have done all that it is impossible should have been called the impossible bullet.
- 31:07So thank you Paul Brown for sending that to me and a lot of
- 31:14other people. So interesting information for sure. Someone out on the sixtieth folks.
- 31:29All right, let's get into the Walker letter alright. So the Walker
- 31:34note was written in for Russian. This is a note that allegedly Lee Harvey
- 31:48Oswald wrote in Russian to his wife Marina when the Knight General dmen Walker one
- 31:53shot at Okay. And these were instructions from Oswald to marine know what to
- 32:01do in the event that he is arrested and taken into custody. So a
- 32:12lot of people think that Ruth Payne is the person behind turning this letter over
- 32:22through the authorities, allegedly finding it in a book and turning it over and
- 32:30lustly a lot of these things. A lot of these folks think that the
- 32:37note may have been written by Ruth Payne to further implicate Lee Oswald in the
- 32:45assassination of Kennedy, you know, and paints him in this kind of crazy
- 32:52guy already shout at somebody, guy persona. But here is the actual Secret
- 33:01Service letter to Chief of Police, Jesse Curry of the DPD. This note,
- 33:13this letter, i should say, is dated December twenty sixth, nineteen
- 33:20sixty three, and it says, Dear Pieve Curry. The following information was
- 33:27developed by this service relative to the attempted assassination of Retired General Edwin Walker in
- 33:35Dallas on April tenth, nineteen sixty three. On December second, nineteen sixty
- 33:40three, there was received from the Irving Police Department some belongings of Missus Marina
- 33:47Oswald, which had been brought to the police station by Missus Ruth Payne,
- 33:52with whom Marina Oswald had been living when these articles were examined in the Secret
- 33:59Service office, was found in a book a note written in a very poor
- 34:02Russian, which was in the handwriting of Lee Harvey Oswald, and which apparently
- 34:08was instructions to his wife what she should do in the event that he should
- 34:14be alive and taken as a prisoner. On December third, nineteen sixty three,
- 34:21Missus Marina Oswald was questioned about this note by one of our special agents
- 34:25who speaks Russian. She stated that this note had nothing to do with the
- 34:30assassination of Kennedy, and that the note was written by her husband prior to
- 34:35his attempted assassination of former General Walker, whom she classified as the head of
- 34:40a fascist organization in the United States and who lived in Dallas, Texas when
- 34:47they the Oswalts lived on Neeley Street in Dallas, that the note, together
- 34:52with a post office key, was left on the dresser of their bedroom,
- 34:57and after reading the note, she was afraid that her husband was planning on
- 35:00doing something dreadful due to his hate for the fascist organizations and their beliefs.
- 35:07She also stated that when her husband returned home late that night, he was
- 35:10very nervous and finally told her that he shot Walker with his rifle and that
- 35:15it was best for everybody that he got rid of him. Missus Oswald further
- 35:21stated that when it was learned the next day from radio and newspapers that the
- 35:24rifle shot fired by an unknown person, had missed Walker, she decided to
- 35:30keep the note as a threat against her husband so that he would not meet
- 35:35her again. It was determined that when the Oswalds lived on Neely Street,
- 35:39that people living downstairs beneath the Oswald's had complained to the landlord about Oswald beating
- 35:45his wife, which he had promised not to do. She further commented that
- 35:52he did not report this matter to the police or she did not report it
- 35:55to the police, as she loved her husband, and particularly that she did
- 36:00not report it to the police on account of their child. He stated,
- 36:08if I can move this piece of paper with my thumb. However, that
- 36:17had the shot hit General Walker, he would have reported the matter to the
- 36:22police. He was apprehensive about this matter being reported to the police because she
- 36:27had a fear of being taken in custody by the police because the information contained
- 36:31in this letter regarding the General Walker incident and the rifle would show that she
- 36:36had not told the police all she knew. When she was shown in question
- 36:39about the rifle that was used to assassinate President Kennedy. On December tenth,
- 36:45nineteen sixty three, our special agent had the opportunity to question missus Oswald more
- 36:51in detail regarding the Walker incident, and she stated that Lee Harvey Oswald told
- 36:55her that once before taking the shot at Walker on April tenth, sixty three,
- 37:00he had gone to the Walker residence for the sole purpose same purpose,
- 37:07but that he had changed his mind as the police had not looked just right
- 37:09for him, and he had changed his mind as the place had not looked
- 37:14his right for him. Yeah, I just read it and that three days
- 37:17prior to April tenth, sixty three, he took the rifle out of the
- 37:21house and buried it in a field near Walker's house. Missus Oswald further stated
- 37:27that upon her husband's returned to the house after he had tried to kill Walker
- 37:31and telling her about it three days later, he saw him taking his military
- 37:37green raincoat for the purpose of wrapping the rifle and bringing it home. However,
- 37:40she stated that when he returned home, she did not see the rifle,
- 37:45but several days later she saw the rifle on a shelf in the apartment
- 37:47where he always kept it. She also stated that the evening her husband shot
- 37:52at Walker, he told her that the church is located near the Walker house
- 37:57had some gathering, that there was plenty of noise, and that after the
- 38:00shooting of Walker, he buried the rifle in the same place. Missus Oswald
- 38:07further stated that Lee Harvey Oswald told her after reading in newspapers that some young
- 38:13man saw an automobile containing three men pulling away from the scene of the bill
- 38:17of shooting, that the Americans always think that they have a car to get
- 38:22away from the scene of the crime, but that he had rather use his
- 38:27feet to do so rather than a car. And he stated that he had
- 38:30taken a bus to go to the Walker residence and then he took a different
- 38:36bus to return home after the shooting. Missus Marina Oswald was questioned as to
- 38:40how she was able to explain to her mother in law, marcu Reit,
- 38:45concerning the attempted assassination of General Walker by her husband. He replied that she
- 38:50did to the best of her knowledge using the English language, and that no
- 38:55one else knew about the shooting of Walker by her husband except her and her
- 39:00mother in law. Yours very truly Forest Souls special agent in charge. All
- 39:07right. So there you have the genesis and progenesis of the Walker note.
- 39:19So what did the Walker notes say? And I came across a very interesting
- 39:30analysis of the Walker letter done by an early researcher and her correspondence with Gerald
- 39:37Wisberg named Beverly Brunson of Baxter Springs, Texas. Before we get into her
- 39:44analysis, let's get into a translation of the note itself, and there were
- 39:52numbered sections in this note. Number one, this is the key to the
- 39:55mailbox, which is located in the main post office in the city on Curve
- 40:00Street. This is the same street where the drug store in which you always
- 40:05waited is located. You'll find the mailbox in the post office, which is
- 40:08located four blocks from the drug store on that street. I paid for the
- 40:14box last month, so don't worry about it. Number two. Send the
- 40:20information as to what happened to me to the embassy, and include newspaper clippings
- 40:24should there be anything about me in the newspapers. I believe the embassy will
- 40:29come quickly to your assistance on learning everything. Number three. I paid the
- 40:35house rent on the second so don't worry about it, So don't worry about
- 40:38it. Four I recently I also paid for water and gas, so don't
- 40:45worry about it. The money from work will possibly be coming. The money
- 40:51will be sent to our post office box. Go to the bank and cash
- 40:53the check. Number six. You can either throw out or give my clothes
- 40:59away. Do not keep these, however, I prefer that you hold on
- 41:02to my personal papers, military, civil, et cetera. So it seems
- 41:09like a pretty tame innocuous note. Right, Well, let's get into Beverly
- 41:16Runson's analysis of the Walker letter, where she writes this to Harold Weisberg.
- 41:24The first step in unraveling the mystery of the undated letter is to divide it
- 41:29into two parts. Paragraphs one, three, four, five, ten,
- 41:34eleven, and to a lesser extent six, seven, and eight offer information
- 41:37as to the date on which the letter was written. Paragraphs eight, six,
- 41:43nine, ten, and eleven offer information as to the nature of the
- 41:45adventure in which Oswald expected to engage in which occasioned the writing of the letter.
- 41:54Section one dating the letter. Paragraph one from the letter, it's this
- 42:00is the key to the mailbox, which is located in the main post office
- 42:02in the city on Irby Street. This is the same street where the drug
- 42:07store in which you always waited is located. You will find the mailbox in
- 42:12the post office, which is located four blocks from the drug store on that
- 42:15street. I paid for the box last month, so don't worry about it,
- 42:21okay. So the last sentence of the paragraph limits to possible dates with
- 42:23a letter to three November sixty two. On January of sixty three, when
- 42:29the Oswald's lived on Elsbis Street and April sixty three, when they lived at
- 42:34Neeley Street. Oswald paid for post office boxes number two nine one five at
- 42:40the Dallas Main Post Office on October the ninth, nineteen sixty three. He
- 42:45paid rent on the box in December of sixty two and March sixty three.
- 42:51According to Warren Report records, post office boxes number six two two five,
- 43:00which Oswald purchased at the Dallas Terminal Annexed post Office on November the first,
- 43:06nineteen sixty three, and number three hundred I'm sorry three zero zero sixty one,
- 43:16which he purchased in June of sixty three in New Orleans, or eliminated
- 43:20by Oswald's reference to the first sentence quote the main post office on IRV Street.
- 43:27The first, second and third sentences is the paragraph denote a time when
- 43:31Marina did not have a key to Oswald's mailbox, did not know in which
- 43:37post office it was. It did not even know the location of the main
- 43:40post office in Dallas. By January of sixty three, Marina, by her
- 43:45own testimony, was using the post office box for her personal mail. Test
- 43:52divided that she sent a letter to a boyfriend in Russia, and the letter
- 43:55was returned to Oswald's post office box for insufficient postage, since unknown to her,
- 44:01Thosetal rates had gone up by one cent. Thosetal rates on first class
- 44:07mail raised one cent in early January of sixty three. Marina offers to further
- 44:15further information than when Oswald found this return letter in the post office a box,
- 44:22he brought it home and read it to her and was very angry,
- 44:25which I'm sure he had every rate to be. That'll get you a beat
- 44:31in Marina. We must assume that since Marina used the post office box as
- 44:38a return to dress, she had some hope of retrieving a possible answer from
- 44:44the Russian boyfriend without Oswald's knowledge. That in fact, she had a key
- 44:47to the box and might have gone to it during the day when Oswald was
- 44:52at work makes sense. A further suggestion that the dates of April and January
- 44:59sixty three may be eliminated as possible dates for this letter is that the main
- 45:02post office in a city is one of the first landmarks noted by a stranger.
- 45:07By April sixty three, Marina had lived in Dallas for five months.
- 45:13He had lived there for two months by January sixty three. She was therefore
- 45:16no stranger to the city and should have known where the main post office box
- 45:22was. Again, this is Brunson's analysis, and I find a little fault
- 45:30with that analysis right there about that, because I don't think she got out
- 45:37very much without Oswald, and she didn't have a car, she didn't have
- 45:40money. So did this be out shopping or sightseeing in the city while Oswald
- 45:46did work, you know, in order to orient herself and explore the city.
- 45:52Probably never happened. So she goes on paragraph one of this letter certainly
- 46:00eliminates April sixty three as a possible date, and it makes a date of
- 46:06January sixty three doubtful. Paragraph three, I paid the house rent on the
- 46:22second, so don't worry about it. This sentence could fit any of the
- 46:27three possible dates, since Oswald paid the rent on Elsbis Street department for the
- 46:30first time on November third, nineteen sixty two, which would cause it to
- 46:37fall due on January second or third April sixty three, and rent was due
- 46:42on the Neely Street apartment on either April third or second, and Oswald paid
- 46:47it on one of those two dates. Thus the Commission pretends that the sentence
- 46:52indicates the date of April sixty three, it really throws it wide open.
- 46:58Either of the other dates are possible too. Paragraph four quote recently I also
- 47:05paid for water and gas, so don't worry about it. This sentence eliminates
- 47:10the date of April sixty three. According to evidence and the Commission's own files,
- 47:15Oswald never paid a gas bill on the Neelee Street apartment. FBI agents
- 47:20Will Hayden Griffin and James Kennedy signed a report dated December fifth, sixty three,
- 47:25in which they state that they have been advised by the Lone Star Gas
- 47:30Company the gas service was turned on at two fourteen West Neely on the receipt
- 47:35of a request made by Lee H. Oswald. The agent's further state that
- 47:39quote, on this date the service was connected. March fourth, sixty three,
- 47:45a letter was addressed to Lee Oswald two to one four West Neely,
- 47:49requesting a deposit of ten dollars. This ten dollars deposit was received by the
- 47:53Lone Star Gas Company on March sixth, nineteen sixty three, and credited under
- 47:59deposit number B nine one four three three quote. No payments were ever made
- 48:07by Oswald following his posting of this ten dollars deposit. According to Commissions Exhibit
- 48:13one to one three three, Oswald did pay water bill of two dollars ninety
- 48:19seven cents on April fourth, nineteen sixty three. However, Marina Oswald testified
- 48:27that they did not pay a water bill at the Elsbeth Street apartment, which
- 48:30if true, would also eliminate the dates of November sixty two in January sixty
- 48:35three. It might be well kept in mind that Marina may have been encouraged
- 48:40to volunteer this information in order to prevent an identification of the undated letter with
- 48:46the elsbis Street apartment and a time prior to the Walker incident. Paragraph five,
- 48:53the money from work will possibly be coming. The money will be sent
- 48:58to our post office box, go to the bank and cast to check.
- 49:02The word possibly suggests doubt a time when Oswald had quit or been fired from
- 49:07a job and was in doubt as to whether he would receive his final pay.
- 49:13Oswald was alleged he fired from his job at Jaggers Child Stovefall on April
- 49:16sixth, nineteen sixty five three, and his final check from the firm was
- 49:22issued on April tenth and paid on April twelfth. Oswald, however, could
- 49:30have been in no doubt that he would receive his pay for work that he
- 49:34was due. It is impossible, however, to assign this paragraph to the
- 49:40other two possible dates, when neither of them was Oswald out of work or
- 49:46in doubt of receiving pay. According to the records of Jaggers Child Stovevall,
- 49:52he was regularly employed and regularly received his pay. This paragraph actually points to
- 49:59a fourth for the letter. I would discuss that point later Paragraphs six,
- 50:05seven, and eight. You can either throw out or give my clothing away,
- 50:08et cetera. Do not keep these, however, I prefer you hold
- 50:14onto my personal papers. Certain of my documents are in the small blue valise
- 50:21eight, the address book can be found on my table, and the study
- 50:24should need saying some These three paragraphs strongly indicate that Oswald was not at the
- 50:34apartment in question when he wrote this letter, that he was in fact not
- 50:37seated at his table in the study. Had he been, he would most
- 50:43likely have put the address book with the key and the letter, and he
- 50:47probably also have sorted out the military and civil papers from the mail or I'm
- 50:52sorry from the small blue valise and left them from Marina. Taken together,
- 51:00these three paragraphs indicated date when Oswald and Marina were separated, when Marina was
- 51:05at the apartment in question and Oswald was elsewhere. They suggest that the letter
- 51:10was in fact mailed to her. This speculation is strengthened by the fact that
- 51:15Oswald nowhere in the letter mentions the number of the post office box, suggesting
- 51:22that he had put it on the envelope as a return address. There is,
- 51:28however, no evidence that Oswald and Marina were separated in January or April
- 51:31of sixty three. They were separated in November of sixty two, separated in
- 51:37fact off and on from October nine, sixty two to about November seventeenth,
- 51:43sixty two. These paragraphs seem to eliminate all three dates of April sixty three,
- 51:51January sixty three November sixty two. I was just a fourth possible date
- 51:55at a later point. Paragraph ten, I left you as much money as
- 52:00I could sixty dollars on the second of the month. You and the baby
- 52:04can live for another two months using ten dollars a week. The first sentence
- 52:08of this paragraph lends itself to no other interpretation than Oswald and Marina were separated
- 52:15at the time it was written. Paraphrase, it means quite simply, when
- 52:20I saw you last on the second of the month, I left you sixty
- 52:23dollars. In so far as can be ascertained from the evidence, the Oswalds
- 52:30were not separated in January or early April sixty three. The only one of
- 52:37the three possible dates this paragraph could be assigned is November sixty two, or
- 52:44an alternate fourth date, which will be suggested later paragraph eleven. If I
- 52:54am alive and taken prisoner. The city jail is located at the end of
- 52:59the bridge through which we always passed on going through the city, right in
- 53:04the beginning of the city after crossing the bridge. Since it is the county
- 53:09jail rather than the city jail, which is located at the end of the
- 53:13bridge or viaduct leading to downtown Dallas, this paragraphs are just a time when
- 53:19Oswald himself was unfamiliar with Dallas. Of January sixty three, Oswald had lived
- 53:23and worked in Dallas almost three months. By April sixty three, he had
- 53:28lived and worked there for more than five months. November sixty two or earlier
- 53:34is the most probable date for this paragraph. Conclusions paragraphs one and eleven so
- 53:42just a time when both Oswald and Marina were unfamiliar with Dallas. This indicates
- 53:47November of sixty two. Paragraph four eliminates April sixty three. Paragraphs sixty seven
- 53:54and ten and eight specify a time when the Oswald were separated. They are
- 54:01not known to have been separated in January or early April sixty three. They
- 54:07were known to have been separated in November of sixty two and earlier. November
- 54:12of sixty two would seem far and away the most likely date for this letter
- 54:17of the three possible dates, but there is enough doubt cast on the November
- 54:23date by internal evidence of the letter to make me suggest a fourth date,
- 54:28which I will do later determining the adventure section Area two, nine, six,
- 54:36ten, and eleven two. Send the information as to what happened to
- 54:42me to the embassy, and include newspaper clippings should there be any. I
- 54:47believe the Embassy will quickly come to your assistance on learning everything. Nine.
- 54:53We have friends here. The raid Cross will always help you. Six.
- 54:58You can either throw out or give my clothing away, do not keep these
- 55:00ten You and the baby can live for another two months using ten dollars a
- 55:05week eleven if I am alive and taking prisoner. So paragraph two notes that
- 55:12the adventure, of it comes off, will be newsworthy. The Russian Embassy
- 55:17would jump quickly to Marina's aid. Thus we may assume that the adventure will
- 55:23have an international flavor, not displeasing to the Russians. Paragraph nine and its
- 55:30reference to the Red Cross, also connotes an adventure with an international aspect,
- 55:36since it would almost certainly be the International Red Cross, which Oswald refers as
- 55:43Russian wife to Paragraph six and ten suggest that Oswald plans to be gone for
- 55:50some time. He will not need his clothes, and he envisions that friends,
- 55:54the Embassy and the Red Cross will have come to the aid of his
- 55:58wife and child when her mind when anyone's out. While Oswald suggesting the last
- 56:02paragraph that he may be killed or jailed, he does not expect to be
- 56:07jailed, since in that case he would need his clothes well unnecessarily paragraph eleven.
- 56:17This offers an alternative death or imprisonment in the event the adventure fails.
- 56:27The adventure is therefore both illegal and dangerous. The conclusion the adventure described would
- 56:34seem to be some sort of spectacular defection. Marina testified that it was in
- 56:38New Orleans that Oswald's docted a scheme to hijack an airplane. He may have
- 56:45had a similar scheme in Dallas or Marina, since she displaced this undated letter
- 56:52forward to the date of the Walker incident, may have also displaced the New
- 56:58Orleans hijack scheme forward in time from November sixty two, I would suggest some
- 57:06activity in regard to the fall missile crisis. And we finally get to a
- 57:14fourth possible date for this letter, which could have been October sixty two.
- 57:20In spite of the fact that Oswald's statement that he paid the box rent last
- 57:23month quote would seem to eliminate October as a date for those letter. The
- 57:30rest of the letters suggests this date so strongly that I want to present the
- 57:36evidence on it on the chance that Oswald, not entirely at home in the
- 57:43Russian language, may have inadvertently written last month when he meant last week,
- 57:50or some other time. Paragraph one and eleven suggest a period when Oswald and
- 57:58Marina were unfamiliar with Dallas, and Marina was so unfamiliar with the city and
- 58:02she did not even know where the main post office was located as in just
- 58:07a time before Marina started using the post office box. Since Oswald purchased the
- 58:12box on October ninth, we might assume that this letter was written right after
- 58:15that time, and then Marina then started using it and the key which was
- 58:21sent for with the letter. We know from the episode of this Letter to
- 58:29the Russian Boyfriend that she was using the box as of January nineteen sixty three.
- 58:36Oswald worked at Leslie Weldon Company at Fort Worth through Monday, October eighth,
- 58:42nineteen sixty two. He did not show up for work the next day
- 58:46and instead suddenly appeared in Dallas, where he rented a post office box twenty
- 58:51nine to fifteen. It is uncertain where Oswald lived during all this time.
- 58:57He was, however, registered at the YMCA from October fifteenth to the nineteenth.
- 59:04Some of this time was spent at the Gary Taylor's on three five one
- 59:09nine fair Amount, which address Oswald used in cashing his first two paychecks from
- 59:15Jagger's child stoveall Airgraph three, with its reference to Oswald's having paid the house
- 59:22rent on. The second could refer to the rent on the Mercedes Street department,
- 59:29which was overdue on the weekend of September twenty nineteen to thirtieth, or
- 59:34the weekend of October sixth and seventh, nineteen sixty two. This would explain
- 59:39Oswald's admonition, so don't worry about it, since Airgraph four eliminates April sixty
- 59:52three as a date for the letter, since Oswald never paid a gas bill
- 59:55on Neey Street according to the Commission's own files. However, Marina's statement that
- 1:00:01water was free on Elsbeth also eliminates the dates of January sixty three and November
- 1:00:07sixty two when they lived on Elsbeth Street. If true, Marina's statement means
- 1:00:13that this letter could not have been written after the move on Mercedes Street in
- 1:00:20Fort Worth to Neely Street. I'm sorry to Elsbeth in Dallas. The date
- 1:00:30of the letter would then have been October sixty two. Paragraph five seems to
- 1:00:35belong to October sixty two, to the exclusion of all of the dates.
- 1:00:40The Warren report itself states. Thus, Oswald worked with the Leslie Weldon Company
- 1:00:46on Monday, October eighth, but failed to appear on the following date,
- 1:00:52he was already in Dallas his fosse. He falsely told his wife that he
- 1:01:00had been dying discharged, and told George Boy that the job had been a
- 1:01:12temporary one. Sometime later, the company received a letter from him staying that
- 1:01:19he had moved permanently to Dallas and asking that the wages due him be forwarded
- 1:01:25to him at Box two nine in Dallas, Texas. If this paragraph of
- 1:01:31the undated letter does in fact refer to Oswald's last paycheck from Leslie Welding,
- 1:01:37it would explain the doubt Oswald expresses as to whether the money will work from
- 1:01:44will come, whether the money from work will come. It would also mean
- 1:01:49that the letter falsely attributed by the Commission to the Walker Incident, with a
- 1:01:53date of early April sixty three, was actually written after Oswald paid for the
- 1:02:00box on October ninth, nineteen sixty two, and after he received his check
- 1:02:07from the Leslie Welding. The check from Leslie was paid through to the bank
- 1:02:14on October twenty fifth, nineteen sixty two. This was a short check that
- 1:02:22Oswald and not Marina, cashed. It may have been meant that the adventure
- 1:02:28did not come off as expected? You think so? Apparently there is some
- 1:02:37consternation as to exactly when this Walker letter was written, and missus Brunson,
- 1:02:45in her surmising of the situation with the Walker Letter, leaves that it could
- 1:02:52have been written as early as October nineteen sixty two, which throws a whole
- 1:02:58another ranch into things. So what doesn't matter, doesn't matter when it was
- 1:03:06written. Do we believe Oswald wrote this? Do we think Ruth Payne wrote
- 1:03:13this? Do we think Marina wrote this? And again, doesn't even matter
- 1:03:24when it's a very vague note it could pertain to anything. It does not
- 1:03:30specifically mention Walker's name at all. Just what Marina should do in the effect
- 1:03:40that Oswald is taking alive as a prisoner. I don't know, but it's
- 1:03:47uh definitely something to think about, you know what I'm saying? For sure?
