- 1:28Speaker 6: Oh, shout out.
- 1:30Speaker 3: Mad respect.
- 1:30Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:31Speaker 4: Well, it's not as simple as it used to be, man. Like,
- 1:34Speaker 4: the barber world has gotten crazy.
- 1:36Speaker 2: Really?
- 1:36Speaker 4: Yeah, because now they're charging crazy amounts of money.
- 1:39Speaker 7: Yeah, they do.
- 1:40Speaker 4: Yeah, that's true. Like, if I go into a barber
- 1:43Speaker 4: shop and they have one of those ring lights for
- 1:44Speaker 4: your video.
- 1:46Speaker 3: Social media stuff. Then you know the price is jacked. Yeah,
- 1:49Speaker 3: I know immediately to turn around.
- 1:50Speaker 4: And like, where you walk in, there's nobody in there.
- 1:52Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:53Speaker 3: And you go, yeah, I'm just here for a haircut.
- 1:55Speaker 3: Do you have an appointment? And you go, no.
- 1:58Speaker 4: Isn't there a little barber pole spinning outside?
- 2:00Speaker 3: And you walk in. Yeah, man, you need to make
- 2:02Speaker 3: an appointment. Yeah, no. Two people get booked, man. Yeah,
- 2:05Speaker 3: you go, oh, no, forget it. No, you could do
- 2:07Speaker 3: it right now.
- 2:08Speaker 4: We just have to go through our app or our website.
- 2:11Speaker 4: And then, like, okay, so you go through that whole thing.
- 2:13Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 2:14Speaker 3: Exercise.
- 2:14Speaker 4: Because what they want is they want your name, your number.
- 2:18Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 2:18Speaker 3: Your email address. Follow up stuff.
- 2:19Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 2:20Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 2:20Speaker 4: Then they can then they hit you with and this
- 2:21Speaker 4: happened to me recently. They hit me with an appointment. No,
- 2:24Speaker 4: they hit me with their Instagram channel.
- 2:27Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 2:28Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 2:29Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:29Speaker 3: Email me and texting me stuff.
- 2:31Speaker 6: The app that I use for everywhere is Booksy.
- 2:34Speaker 3: Me too. Yeah. Booksy is it's great. Booksy. Yeah. Booksy.
- 2:39Speaker 6: You find local barbers on there. And then you just
- 2:41Speaker 6: book the time. It's super easy.
- 2:43Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 2:43Speaker 3: Then they want like 65 bucks for a haircut. Is
- 2:45Speaker 3: that how much you pay?
- 2:46Speaker 9: Wow.
- 2:46Speaker 3: Not mine. No, I'm saying at a barbershop. At a barbershop.
- 2:49Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 2:49Speaker 3: I pay 50. Jeez.
- 2:49Speaker 4: That's crazy for a barber.
- 2:51Speaker 3: That's insane. Mine's 42. But then I tip.
- 2:54Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 2:55Speaker 4: So I started going back to that place hammer and nail.
- 2:57Speaker 3: Oh, you did that?
- 2:58Speaker 5: Okay.
- 2:58Speaker 3: I don't have the membership anymore.
- 3:00Speaker 5: Oh, really?
- 3:00Speaker 3: Yeah. Because it's one-off.
- 3:02Speaker 4: If I just need the haircut or beard trim to
- 3:04Speaker 4: do the straight razor shave, I'll just do that. So
- 3:06Speaker 4: I was paying for the membership and not really paying.
- 3:08Speaker 3: Taking advantage. Yeah, taking advantage. Because with that, you could
- 3:11Speaker 3: go anytime, right? Anytime.
- 3:12Speaker 10: Wow.
- 3:13Speaker 3: Anytime.
- 3:14Speaker 4: Today is International Day for the Preservation of the Ozone Layer.
- 3:18Speaker 3: Neat. Okay. Do you remember that? I haven't talked about
- 3:21Speaker 3: that in ages. In the 80s? That was big when
- 3:23Speaker 3: you were a kid. We were all going to die.
- 3:25Speaker 4: Yeah, that was a big topic, man. We had no
- 3:28Speaker 4: aerosol cans, that kind of stuff.
- 3:29Speaker 6: It was the ozone layer and then the rainforest.
- 3:32Speaker 3: Totally.
- 3:33Speaker 4: Now, today is September 16th. It is not May 5th. Today,
- 3:38Speaker 4: ladies and gentlemen, is Mexican Independence Day.
- 3:40Speaker 3: You don't say.
- 3:41Speaker 10: Yes.
- 3:41Speaker 3: Yes.
- 3:42Speaker 4: Today is Collect Rocks Day.
- 3:44Speaker 3: Shout out to rocks.
- 3:46Speaker 4: I did know this woman. She was one of our
- 3:48Speaker 4: neighbors when we lived in this apartment complex. And she
- 3:51Speaker 4: collected rocks. And she had like these rock designs in
- 3:55Speaker 4: her little like next to her patio. And she just
- 3:57Speaker 4: had this little concrete slab. It was an apartment, right?
- 3:59Speaker 4: So little concrete slab right off her sliding glass door.
- 4:02Speaker 4: And then right next to that patio was She would
- 4:04Speaker 4: have like so for Fourth of July, she would have red,
- 4:06Speaker 4: white and blue in the form of a flag. And
- 4:10Speaker 4: that's how this before my parents or my mom and
- 4:13Speaker 4: my stepdad knew each other. I was walking through the
- 4:17Speaker 4: apartment complex and I saw this girl messing up all
- 4:19Speaker 4: those rocks.
- 4:20Speaker 3: And I go, hey, don't do that. I'm like, good
- 4:23Speaker 3: for you. I'm like seven, almost eight years old.
- 4:25Speaker 4: I go, don't do that. And she turns around and
- 4:29Speaker 4: throws one of those rocks at me.
- 4:31Speaker 5: Damn.
- 4:31Speaker 3: And so I picked it up and I threw it back.
- 4:34Speaker 4: And I hit her in the head with the rock.
- 4:36Speaker 3: She starts wailing.
- 4:37Speaker 7: That's what you get.
- 4:40Speaker 3: This other sliding glass door opens.
- 4:41Speaker 4: Out comes this guy, grabs her, grabs me, pulls me
- 4:45Speaker 4: into his apartment and goes, who are you?
- 4:47Speaker 3: And I'm keeping my mouth shut. John Smith.
- 4:50Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 4:50Speaker 4: There's this other girl sitting now on the couch next
- 4:53Speaker 4: to the girl I just hit in the head with
- 4:54Speaker 4: the rock.
- 4:55Speaker 3: It's her sister. I go, uh-oh. I know who she is.
- 4:58Speaker 4: It's this girl, Robin. And this is her sister, right?
- 5:01Speaker 4: I'm like, Oh, this girl and I don't get along.
- 5:04Speaker 4: This is the girl that I had to run in,
- 5:05Speaker 4: in kindergarten with who wouldn't get off the little jungle
- 5:07Speaker 4: gym thing. And so I punched her back in kindergarten
- 5:11Speaker 4: and she.
- 5:12Speaker 3: Gave my name.
- 5:13Speaker 4: She told the guy my name and he went from
- 5:15Speaker 4: wanting to kill me. And he's like, You shouldn't throw rocks.
- 5:19Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 5:19Speaker 3: I was like, wow.
- 5:20Speaker 4: He goes, get out of here.
- 5:21Speaker 3: And I left.
- 5:21Speaker 4: I'm like, how did that happen? I thought for sure.
- 5:24Speaker 4: Because both those girls now hate me, right?
- 5:26Speaker 3: Yeah. I go home. My mom's home. Hey, how's everything?
- 5:28Speaker 3: I go, it just hit this girl in the head
- 5:30Speaker 3: with a rock. She goes, is she OK? I go,
- 5:33Speaker 3: I don't know. I'm seven. You know what I mean?
- 5:36Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 5:36Speaker 4: So we went over there. And there is where my
- 5:39Speaker 4: mom and stepdad met each other. And those two girls
- 5:42Speaker 4: are now my stepsisters. That's how it happened. All thanks
- 5:47Speaker 4: to a woman who collected rocks.
- 5:50Speaker 3: Because if she had.
- 5:51Speaker 4: Just been messing around some other random rocks, I wouldn't
- 5:53Speaker 4: have cared. But I knew this woman.
- 5:55Speaker 7: Little Cupid.
- 5:57Speaker 6: The only rock story I have is in third grade.
- 6:00Speaker 3: Smoking rocks?
- 6:01Speaker 1: No.
- 6:02Speaker 6: I went to school with this kid named John Stockton,
- 6:04Speaker 6: and he would pick up random- A basketball player?
- 6:06Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 6:06Speaker 6: And he would pick up random rocks. I don't know
- 6:09Speaker 6: if it was a basketball player. I should look it up.
- 6:11Speaker 4: You would know if it was John Stockton.
- 6:13Speaker 6: I don't know, because I left that school when I
- 6:15Speaker 6: was in third grade. But he would pick up random
- 6:17Speaker 6: rocks and he would suck on them. That's cool.
- 6:20Speaker 3: He's way older than you. Way older than me. Really?
- 6:23Speaker 3: John Stockton?
- 6:23Speaker 4: John Stockton was a big star.
- 6:25Speaker 8: In the 80s?
- 6:26Speaker 4: Yeah, back when I was like a kid.
- 6:28Speaker 3: Yeah, no, I knew he was a basketball player. But
- 6:30Speaker 3: you thought he went to your school? No, no. I
- 6:33Speaker 3: thought he was a little bit younger, though. Nah, he's
- 6:35Speaker 3: an old dude. But he's still alive. He's still alive.
- 6:38Speaker 3: He's still alive. He wore the tighty-white shorts, too. Oh,
- 6:40Speaker 3: that's right.
- 6:41Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 6:41Speaker 3: Yeah, he's 64.
- 6:43Speaker 4: It's National Play-Doh Day. National Sit with a Stranger Day, Sam.
- 6:47Speaker 3: You should go do that. No, thank you.
- 6:50Speaker 4: Today is National Tattoo Story Day. And it's also National
- 6:53Speaker 4: Cinnamon Raisin Bread Day.
- 6:55Speaker 7: It's all right.
- 6:56Speaker 4: No, I always forget about cinnamon raisin bread.
- 6:57Speaker 3: It's pretty good.
- 6:58Speaker 4: Like they have the, what is it, the raisin, what's
- 7:01Speaker 4: the brand?
- 7:03Speaker 3: Oh, Sunmade or something?
- 7:05Speaker 7: Oh, it's a little girl with the apron or whatever
- 7:07Speaker 7: on the front.
- 7:07Speaker 4: Yeah, and they make bread.
- 7:08Speaker 5: What?
- 7:09Speaker 4: They sell like loaves of bread.
- 7:11Speaker 7: Well, the Trader Joe's bread is good.
- 7:13Speaker 3: Time for your birthdays. It's your birthday. We're going to
- 7:17Speaker 3: party like it's your birthday. We're going to sip the
- 7:19Speaker 3: coffee like it's your birthday. And you know we don't
- 7:22Speaker 3: give a fuck because it's your birthday.
- 7:24Speaker 4: Speaking of like back in the day, 80s, 90s basketball
- 7:27Speaker 4: and everything, I saw there's a website now selling the
- 7:30Speaker 4: old school starter jackets.
- 7:31Speaker 3: Have you seen that?
- 7:32Speaker 5: Oh, yeah.
- 7:33Speaker 6: Oh, yeah.
- 7:33Speaker 3: They're back in too. It's the classic style too.
- 7:37Speaker 7: It's the old school.
- 7:38Speaker 3: Yeah, they have them at Target too. Oh, they do? Yeah.
- 7:40Speaker 3: I have one. It's super cool.

- 7:47Speaker 4: from SNL. She is 62. Nick Jonas is 34 from
- 7:52Speaker 4: the Jonas Brothers.
- 7:53Speaker 3: Mickey Rourke.
- 7:54Speaker 4: He's 74. For some reason, I thought he died.
- 7:57Speaker 3: He's up there. Well, yeah.
- 8:00Speaker 6: Remember he was getting evicted from his house and they
- 8:02Speaker 6: started GoFundMe and then he.
- 8:04Speaker 3: Said he didn't want it. Oh, that's right.
- 8:06Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 8:06Speaker 4: Menace, your favorite magician, David Copperfield. Oh, you're my dog.

- 8:14Speaker 3: I'm sorry, David. I didn't know. And Greg was there.
- 8:17Speaker 3: It looked like he wanted Menace to pick up this balloon.
- 8:20Speaker 10: Yeah.

- 10:27Speaker 1: The Woody Show.
- 10:28Speaker 11: I don't want to deal with them anymore.
- 10:29Speaker 1: They're scum.
- 10:30Speaker 3: They're sick people. There's something wrong with them.
- 10:32Speaker 5: They're cuckoo.
- 10:33Speaker 12: They're liars.
- 10:34Speaker 2: They're cheats.
- 10:35Speaker 6: They're sick people.
- 10:36Speaker 4: The Woody Show is back.
- 10:40Speaker 5: And.
- 10:41Speaker 3: It's another new hour.
- 10:42Speaker 4: Woody, Greg, Dennis, Gina Graham, and Gina's got the trending
- 10:49Speaker 4: news headlines.
- 10:50Speaker 7: Well, the big story, obviously, is what happened in Chatsworth,
- 10:52Speaker 7: California last night. Three people are dead after NewsChopper 4
- 10:56Speaker 7: crashed and burst into flames while covering a story about
- 10:59Speaker 7: a crash involving an SUV and a Metro bus. NBC4
- 11:03Speaker 7: anchors were covering the bus crash live when they lost
- 11:05Speaker 7: contact with their own helicopter crew, later confirmed the tragedy
- 11:09Speaker 7: on the air. Channel 4 says their reporter Eliana Moreno
- 11:13Speaker 7: and her pilot George Marcineau were killed along with one
- 11:16Speaker 7: person on the ground. The NTSB and FAA are now
- 11:19Speaker 7: investigating what in the hell happened.
- 11:21Speaker 3: What caused the crash? Straight chaos. Yeah. Totally.
- 11:24Speaker 6: I'm sorry I haven't had time to fully research this
- 11:27Speaker 6: yet to see if it's even real. But there is
- 11:29Speaker 6: some video going around where they're showing a live shot
- 11:33Speaker 6: and then the helicopter going down. So you hear some
- 11:36Speaker 6: noises there. Oh, you mean, like, from the ground or
- 11:39Speaker 6: from the helicopter?
- 11:39Speaker 3: From the helicopter.
- 11:40Speaker 4: Yeah, because they were, you know, covering the crash.
- 11:44Speaker 3: Yeah, there appears to be video from a building as well,
- 11:47Speaker 3: and it looks like the building's shaking.
- 11:48Speaker 4: I don't know if that's... Like security footage?
- 11:51Speaker 3: Yeah, but... Okay, here's the thing. I have the audio.
- 11:55Speaker 3: Do you want to hear it?
- 11:56Speaker 4: This is from their coverage, like, from the helicopter.
- 11:59Speaker 3: Okay.
- 12:00Speaker 1: I do.
- 12:01Speaker 3: You do? Yeah, I mean, I would. Show of hands.
- 12:03Speaker 5: Ugh.
- 12:04Speaker 3: Yeah. All right. I mean, I'm assuming it's the one
- 12:06Speaker 3: that I saw. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 12:08Speaker 4: So this is from the helicopter. They're over the scene.
- 12:11Speaker 4: But you can hear the engine quit.
- 12:15Speaker 5: Oh.
- 12:15Speaker 4: Now, Greg, you spend some time in helicopters.
- 12:17Speaker 3: And stuff like that.
- 12:19Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 12:19Speaker 3: And then it sounds like a horn, almost like a
- 12:22Speaker 3: scooter horn.
- 12:23Speaker 5: It does.
- 12:23Speaker 3: Yeah, there is some sort of like a beep. And
- 12:24Speaker 3: that's a stall horn. Yeah.
- 12:26Speaker 4: Planes have that, too. It's like a stall horn. It
- 12:28Speaker 4: kind of sounds like one of those squealing kind of duck.
- 12:33Speaker 3: Yeah, almost like a buzzer.
- 12:35Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 12:35Speaker 3: And then the.
- 12:36Speaker 4: Reporter is asking the pilot, hey, so you'll hear it.
- 12:40Speaker 3: But just so you know, here, show of hands.
- 12:43Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 12:43Speaker 3: Okay, here we go.
- 12:46Speaker 10: Uh-oh. There goes.
- 12:48Speaker 3: The engine.
- 12:58Speaker 8: Pull.
- 12:58Speaker 12: You can't pull up?
- 13:04Speaker 3: And then it's cut out. Oh, my God. And that's
- 13:06Speaker 3: when they lost contact with the crew. Holy crap.
- 13:11Speaker 6: Yeah, the video looks like a slow descent.
- 13:13Speaker 4: Yeah, because they will do that. Like, helicopters can make
- 13:16Speaker 4: a controlled descent. It did hit something.
- 13:17Speaker 3: Like, there was like a, what is it? A car
- 13:20Speaker 3: or something. A cargo container.
- 13:21Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 13:22Speaker 3: Or something on the ground. A storage container. Someone on
- 13:24Speaker 3: the ground died.
- 13:25Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 13:25Speaker 3: And there were several helicopters covering this place. Right, exactly.
- 13:28Speaker 7: So it's not like they bumped another helicopter.
- 13:30Speaker 3: No.
- 13:31Speaker 6: No.
- 13:32Speaker 7: Well, the Macklemore drama is getting bigger. Now all of
- 13:34Speaker 7: Ed Sheeran's remaining opening acts have quit the tour. That's Phineas,
- 13:38Speaker 7: Lucas Graham, Aaron Rowe, and this Irish folk band, Bioga.
- 13:42Speaker 3: Wow, even more money for Ed Sheeran.
- 13:43Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 13:44Speaker 4: Even less overhead.
- 13:45Speaker 7: They all pulled out in support of Macklemore after he
- 13:48Speaker 7: was dropped for going on a pro-Palestine rant during the
- 13:51Speaker 7: MetLife Stadium shows. Sheeran has responded now. He said kicking
- 13:55Speaker 7: Macklemore off the tour was not his decision. The tour
- 13:58Speaker 7: promoter pulled him from the eight remaining dates. Ed says
- 14:01Speaker 7: he tried to work something out. He still respects his buddy.
- 14:05Speaker 7: Ed says he's, quote, appalled by the conflict between Israel
- 14:08Speaker 7: and Palestine and called the suffering on both sides a
- 14:10Speaker 7: human tragedy. You know, he covered all his bases. And
- 14:13Speaker 7: but he said his concerts are not a political platform
- 14:16Speaker 7: because his audience have a lot of young people and
- 14:18Speaker 7: families and they don't want a political forum.
- 14:21Speaker 4: Again, it's the separate the issue from what we're talking
- 14:24Speaker 4: about here. You're not going to the Ed Sheeran concert
- 14:27Speaker 4: for that.
- 14:28Speaker 7: You're not going to a rally.
- 14:29Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly. Yeah, you can.
- 14:30Speaker 4: You're free to have people obviously have opinions on everything
- 14:33Speaker 4: that happens in the world. But a lot of the
- 14:36Speaker 4: stuff is supposed to be or designed to be an escape.
- 14:39Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 14:39Speaker 4: From these things. And there's plenty of like platforms now
- 14:43Speaker 4: for whoever.
- 14:43Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 14:44Speaker 3: Macklemore or anybody else, any private individual.
- 14:48Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 14:48Speaker 3: You can make your opinions known. Now, I'm not. sexually
- 14:51Speaker 3: attracted to Ed Sheeran the way Gina is.
- 14:53Speaker 4: Gina said that she would suck it to the base.
- 14:56Speaker 3: To the base. Oh my God, when he does that
- 14:59Speaker 3: looping thing, which I believe this whole tour is the
- 15:01Speaker 3: looping tour. It's one of the most impressive things you'll
- 15:04Speaker 3: ever see. Well, that's just how he performs. That's just
- 15:07Speaker 3: his whole thing.
- 15:07Speaker 2: Awesome.
- 15:08Speaker 7: Yeah, I think he'll be okay.
- 15:10Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 15:10Speaker 7: Well, there are some new developments in the investigation into
- 15:13Speaker 7: Hayden Panettiere's death. The DEA agents apparently searched her place
- 15:16Speaker 7: in Los Angeles right after she died looking for drugs. Investigators,
- 15:20Speaker 7: they're also going through years of texts between her and
- 15:23Speaker 7: her alleged longtime drug dealer, including messages they exchanged the
- 15:27Speaker 7: week she died. Neighbors said they saw a bunch of
- 15:30Speaker 7: people they thought were drug dealers regularly coming to her
- 15:33Speaker 7: condo over the years, including one person they saw about
- 15:35Speaker 7: a week before she died. And according to the law
- 15:38Speaker 7: enforcement sources, investigators think Hayden may have taken what she
- 15:42Speaker 7: thought was oxycodone, but the pill was actually laced with fentanyl.
- 15:45Speaker 7: Her toxicology results and official cause of death are still
- 15:49Speaker 7: being worked on.
- 15:50Speaker 4: They'll eventually arrest somebody for this.
- 15:52Speaker 13: Oh, yeah.
- 15:52Speaker 3: Absolutely. Like they did with Matthew Perry.
- 15:55Speaker 7: Well, I mean, they have texts back and forth with
- 15:58Speaker 7: this alleged dude, so hopefully it won't be that hard.
- 16:01Speaker 7: And the Senate just took a pretty big step toward
- 16:04Speaker 7: changing the way college sports works. So there's a bipartisan
- 16:07Speaker 7: bill called the Protect College Sports Act that would basically
- 16:11Speaker 7: create one set of rules for the whole country when
- 16:14Speaker 7: it comes to NIL money. transfers and player eligibility. It
- 16:18Speaker 7: would also let schools directly pay athletes through revenue share.
- 16:22Speaker 7: The bill would give the NCAA more power to enforce
- 16:24Speaker 7: those rules and protect it from certain federal antitrust lawsuits,
- 16:28Speaker 7: which is already getting a lot of pushback from athletes
- 16:30Speaker 7: and some lawmakers. So after years of college sports feeling
- 16:34Speaker 7: like this wild west, just, you know, give it a
- 16:36Speaker 7: try and see what happens. Congress is finally trying to
- 16:38Speaker 7: figure out what the rules are going to be for
- 16:41Speaker 7: everybody going forward.
- 16:42Speaker 4: I mean, that doesn't make sense. I didn't realize there
- 16:43Speaker 4: were different rules. I thought there was one thing I
- 16:46Speaker 4: know they're talking about, you know, with. And the people
- 16:50Speaker 4: who went to the NFL going back to college, and
- 16:52Speaker 4: they're talking about that.
- 16:53Speaker 7: Double dipping.
- 16:54Speaker 4: The SEC and the Big Ten. You have all those
- 16:57Speaker 4: different conferences. But I thought all the NIL stuff, I
- 16:59Speaker 4: thought that was just.
- 17:00Speaker 3: Kind of like an over.
- 17:01Speaker 7: It wasn't streamlined.
- 17:02Speaker 3: Yeah, I didn't realize that. Oh, yeah. It's crazy.
- 17:04Speaker 6: I was talking to a guy in our office who
- 17:06Speaker 6: was a big college football kicker, and he said the
- 17:09Speaker 6: rules are just like all over the place.
- 17:12Speaker 4: He wouldn't be working here if this was going on
- 17:13Speaker 4: when he was playing.
- 17:14Speaker 3: I know. He's like, damn it. I know, dude. He
- 17:17Speaker 3: had some legendary kicks, dude.
- 17:20Speaker 4: You know, you think about, like, we talked about this before.
- 17:22Speaker 4: You know, just this industry... that we're working in. It
- 17:26Speaker 4: used to be you had to move to middle of nowhere,
- 17:28Speaker 4: a little tiny station that was built into a farmhouse
- 17:31Speaker 4: to kind of get your start. You didn't start in
- 17:32Speaker 4: any kind of big city or big, yeah, whatever. And
- 17:35Speaker 4: you paid your dues and you move up. It doesn't
- 17:36Speaker 4: work that way anymore. People just step off the bus
- 17:39Speaker 4: and right into the studio of like a major city.
- 17:41Speaker 4: It's why radio kind of blows.
- 17:42Speaker 3: They get found at a mall. Yeah, right. Like no experience? Great.
- 17:45Speaker 3: Come on in.
- 17:46Speaker 4: Because they'll work for what they're paying.
- 17:48Speaker 3: Yeah, true. So you have that.
- 17:50Speaker 4: Or the people, Menace brought this up last time the
- 17:52Speaker 4: conversation happened with, uh college loan forgiveness you know where
- 17:56Speaker 4: people took these college loans out and they paid them
- 17:59Speaker 4: off it took them forever they took a couple extra
- 18:02Speaker 4: jobs and did everything they could to pay them off
- 18:04Speaker 4: and all of a sudden now they're talking about you
- 18:05Speaker 4: know college loan forgives and the people who are totally
- 18:08Speaker 4: against are the people who already paid it off that's
- 18:10Speaker 4: why this guy in the office he was a kicker
- 18:12Speaker 4: he was like i don't know what you get like
- 18:14Speaker 4: a free dining hall pass i know i mean they
- 18:18Speaker 4: paid for his uh his school i'm sure i'm sure
- 18:20Speaker 4: he was on scholarship right yeah But wasn't making NIL money.
- 18:24Speaker 7: Yeah, true.
- 18:25Speaker 4: A lot of these guys, man, who went to the NFL,
- 18:27Speaker 4: they were balling in college. They were making way more
- 18:30Speaker 4: money than they're making now in the NFL.
- 18:32Speaker 7: That's insane.
- 18:33Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 18:33Speaker 7: Because they were the biggest fish in the small pond.
- 18:36Speaker 4: Well, especially the guys who were like, you know, first round,
- 18:38Speaker 4: second round, third round pick. Like these guys were all
- 18:40Speaker 4: making more.
- 18:41Speaker 7: That's so crazy.
- 18:42Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 18:43Speaker 3: They're making more in college.
- 18:44Speaker 2: Wow.
- 18:45Speaker 7: Well, two teenagers in San Francisco learned the hard way
- 18:47Speaker 7: that just because you're in a car that doesn't have
- 18:49Speaker 7: a driver, it doesn't mean no one's watching you. This
- 18:52Speaker 7: Waymo detected a violation involving a gun inside the car,
- 18:56Speaker 7: so it pulled itself over and called the cops. This
- 18:59Speaker 7: happened about four in the morning. Police arrested this guy
- 19:03Speaker 7: and girl and say they also found a loaded AR-style
- 19:06Speaker 7: ghost gun, weed, and mace inside. Waymo actually did something
- 19:10Speaker 7: similar earlier this year when two 15-year-olds were allegedly drinking
- 19:14Speaker 7: and shooting those little gel pellet Orbeez guns. They're just like,
- 19:18Speaker 7: looks like tapioca balls from one of the cars. So
- 19:21Speaker 7: apparently Waymo isn't just your driver. It's going to narc
- 19:24Speaker 7: on you. So don't get crazy in there, people.
- 19:27Speaker 3: You got to figure you're always on camera now.
- 19:28Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 19:29Speaker 3: You're always being recorded and talking about all the things,
- 19:31Speaker 3: the TVs and your phones.
- 19:33Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 19:34Speaker 3: Everything else that's listening to you. Big brother loves you.
- 19:36Speaker 3: Makes snooting out a lot harder. That's right.
- 19:39Speaker 4: In this particular case, I say good. Oh, they did
- 19:41Speaker 4: the right thing, for sure.
- 19:42Speaker 3: Dumbass.
- 19:42Speaker 7: Detecting a gun. I wonder how they did that.
- 19:45Speaker 3: With cameras. With cameras, yeah.
- 19:46Speaker 7: But like somebody is sitting there physically.
- 19:48Speaker 3: No, AI detection. No, it's like how they have now.
- 19:50Speaker 7: I'm just not there yet in my brain.
- 19:52Speaker 4: They have them in like buildings and schools and things
- 19:54Speaker 4: like that where- Anything shaped.
- 19:56Speaker 3: It recognizes, yeah. It's pretty crazy.
- 19:58Speaker 4: It recognizes shapes and things. It's not like- uh, like
- 20:02Speaker 4: airport security.
- 20:03Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 20:03Speaker 4: It's not a metal detector or anything like that. It's
- 20:05Speaker 4: just a regular, if they had the gun out in
- 20:07Speaker 4: the car, it's like, Oh, this person's got a gun
- 20:09Speaker 4: in their heart.
- 20:09Speaker 3: That looks like a gun.
- 20:10Speaker 2: Idiots.
- 20:11Speaker 1: All right.
- 20:11Speaker 7: Well, that's what's going on.
- 20:12Speaker 3: They're probably so grounded.
- 20:13Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 20:18Speaker 3: Jeff just handed me a, uh, we got, I guess
- 20:21Speaker 3: we got a bunch of these after hours voicemails.
- 20:23Speaker 10: Oh, good.
- 20:24Speaker 3: Oh, we haven't gone through those in a minute.
- 20:27Speaker 4: Uh, well, we listened to them.
- 20:27Speaker 3: We haven't gone through them on the, uh, On the air.
- 20:30Speaker 7: You've featured them.
- 20:32Speaker 4: Yes.
- 20:33Speaker 3: What are people saying?
- 20:34Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 20:35Speaker 3: I mean, just random stuff. 877-44-WHAT-DO-YOU-LIKE.
- 20:40Speaker 4: Anytime, you know, after the show, whatever you've got, you
- 20:44Speaker 4: can just let us know.
- 20:45Speaker 3: Let's see here. After Hours voicemail. How about this one?
- 20:48Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 20:53Speaker 4: That was it.
- 20:53Speaker 3: What?
- 20:54Speaker 7: Yeah, that was the whole email. I, too, like getting high.
- 20:57Speaker 3: Do you know what?
- 20:59Speaker 10: I was like.
- 21:02Speaker 3: What? I don't even know what that is.
- 21:05Speaker 6: Yeah, that's definitely a high laugh right there.
- 21:08Speaker 4: Well, somebody called with a high thought.
- 21:11Speaker 8: Hey, Woody Show. Total high thought. But how often do
- 21:18Speaker 8: you buy new cutlery? He's just doing the dishwasher and
- 21:22Speaker 8: looked down and thought, we've had this cutlery for like
- 21:26Speaker 8: three houses, like 22 years or so. My cutlery's older
- 21:32Speaker 8: than my kids.
- 21:33Speaker 3: Kind of weird.
- 21:35Speaker 5: Anyway.
- 21:37Speaker 3: I love that. That might be my favorite voicemail of
- 21:41Speaker 3: all time.
- 21:43Speaker 4: That's the random crap that Greg wonders about.
- 21:46Speaker 3: That is so funny. And I did think about that
- 21:48Speaker 3: recently because I was seeing my parents and I thought, wow,
- 21:50Speaker 3: these spoons are probably older than me.
- 21:53Speaker 7: We did just buy new cutlery and cutlery is expensive.
- 21:56Speaker 3: Yeah, well, it's better last. It depends where you buy it.
- 21:58Speaker 7: Yeah, well, it better last.
- 21:59Speaker 3: We bought it at Target. Yeah. Home goods.
- 22:02Speaker 7: Yeah, it was still like 200 bucks.
- 22:03Speaker 3: Really?
- 22:04Speaker 2: The cutlery.
- 22:05Speaker 6: Are you talking about like knives or just actual like forks?
- 22:08Speaker 7: Like forks, knife, spoon.
- 22:10Speaker 3: Fork, knife, spoon.
- 22:11Speaker 6: Because the knife set is all hex clad.
- 22:14Speaker 3: Like the ones that come into the butcher block.
- 22:17Speaker 7: We're just talking about like dinnerware.
- 22:18Speaker 6: Yeah, dinnerware.
- 22:19Speaker 3: I always get that from Ikea. Yeah, just the high
- 22:21Speaker 3: thought about cutlery. That is so good. So random. Love it. Uh,
- 22:26Speaker 3: let's see.
- 22:27Speaker 4: Uh, after hours, voicemail. Oh, here's another high dude.
- 22:30Speaker 2: All right. So I was listening to this comedian talk
- 22:33Speaker 2: about how white people's animals have it really good because
- 22:38Speaker 2: white people love their animals. Anyways, he referred to the
- 22:41Speaker 2: animal as a white dog, whether the dog was white, black, brown, whatever.
- 22:46Speaker 2: So I was just curious, like, so my cat is orange,
- 22:50Speaker 2: but I think he's black. But what, so what race
- 22:54Speaker 2: is y'all's dogs or cats or.
- 22:57Speaker 3: Whatever you have?
- 22:58Speaker 2: Anyways.
- 23:01Speaker 4: I say it's random out there on that after hours voicemail.
- 23:05Speaker 3: It's, it's random, dude.
- 23:06Speaker 6: I can easily answer that. One of my dogs is
- 23:09Speaker 6: black and the other one is biracial.
- 23:12Speaker 3: Oh yeah. Why is that? Why is that easy? Because.
- 23:15Speaker 3: That's the actual colors of your dog.
- 23:16Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 23:17Speaker 2: No, no, no.
- 23:17Speaker 3: He's not saying that.
- 23:18Speaker 7: Personality.
- 23:19Speaker 3: Even if the dog is like. Culturally. Like his cat's orange.
- 23:21Speaker 3: Black in color. That's a white dog.
- 23:22Speaker 7: Like his soul is a white dog.
- 23:24Speaker 3: Yeah, like a white person, a black person.
- 23:26Speaker 5: Oh, yeah.
- 23:27Speaker 7: Would you care to rethink that?
- 23:28Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 23:28Speaker 3: I don't think. I mean. I mean, I know what
- 23:30Speaker 3: my dog is. It's a white dog. A white dog, yeah.
- 23:32Speaker 3: It's a white golden tree.
- 23:33Speaker 7: The whitest dog.
- 23:34Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 23:35Speaker 4: But she's also probably a white chick.
- 23:37Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 23:37Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 23:38Speaker 3: I think that when I see dogs, you know, on
- 23:40Speaker 3: movies or TV shows in other countries, like, does this
- 23:43Speaker 3: dog know it's in Japan right now? Does it know
- 23:46Speaker 3: it's famous, like in movies and stuff?
- 23:48Speaker 5: Okay.
- 23:48Speaker 4: Does the air bud know it was famous?
- 23:51Speaker 6: Okay, I have an answer then. I would say that
- 23:54Speaker 6: my black dog is probably Filipino because I got her
- 23:56Speaker 6: from a Filipino family. And then the other dog, the
- 24:01Speaker 6: biracial dog, I got her from a super white family.
- 24:04Speaker 3: So she's white for sure then. Okay.
- 24:06Speaker 5: Yep.
- 24:07Speaker 4: After hours voicemail, this listener said they pulled a Greg.
- 24:11Speaker 11: Hi, I just did a very Greg thing and I
- 24:13Speaker 11: thought I should share. Walked into Target, got all my items,
- 24:17Speaker 11: had my own little reusable bags. And the man asked
- 24:22Speaker 11: me if I would like to buy bags. I was like, no,
- 24:25Speaker 11: I'm all good. I brought my own. What does he do?
- 24:28Speaker 11: He immediately puts that I bought two bags from Target.
- 24:32Speaker 11: And so I'm like, that's weird.
- 24:34Speaker 10: Check my receipt.
- 24:35Speaker 11: Sure enough, he charged me. for two bags, 10 cents each.
- 24:39Speaker 11: And I go straight over to customer service. And I'm like, hey,
- 24:45Speaker 11: this guy just charged me. Give me my 20 cents back, please.
- 24:49Speaker 11: And I was like, it's not really like the change.
- 24:53Speaker 11: It's more the principle of the thing. But I thought
- 24:56Speaker 11: I should share.
- 24:57Speaker 6: Thanks.
- 24:57Speaker 3: All right, bye. She's completely right.
- 24:59Speaker 7: If there was no line, I would do that and
- 25:01Speaker 7: be like, just so you know, this is what your
- 25:03Speaker 7: employees are doing. But if there's one person ahead of me,
- 25:05Speaker 7: I got to just get on with my life.
- 25:08Speaker 3: So you know what I'm thinking about now?
- 25:09Speaker 4: I'm thinking about, you know, we say like call anytime,
- 25:12Speaker 4: after hours voicemail, whatever's on your mind. Like, do you
- 25:14Speaker 4: call to, you know, say whatever it is about like,
- 25:18Speaker 4: you're thinking about this dog thing, what race they are.
- 25:20Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 25:21Speaker 4: Like, is it because like, you know, that none of
- 25:24Speaker 4: your friends or your family know would care. But you feel.
- 25:28Speaker 3: Like you need to tell somebody. So, hey, you know what?
- 25:31Speaker 4: I'm going to call the Woody show after hours voicemail.
- 25:33Speaker 7: That makes sense.
- 25:34Speaker 3: And just leave it for them. Because everyone else is
- 25:37Speaker 3: over you.
- 25:39Speaker 4: We talk about like when we do the phones for
- 25:42Speaker 4: Brag Like Seabass. Because so many people are shy about
- 25:47Speaker 4: sharing the good things that they're happy about. Maybe they
- 25:51Speaker 4: got like a new car. Well, you know, a lot
- 25:52Speaker 4: of people can't get a new car right now. It's like,
- 25:54Speaker 4: it's not it's not cool to brag or, you know,
- 25:59Speaker 4: to be proud of success or like, you gotta keep
- 26:02Speaker 4: it quiet because not everybody.
- 26:04Speaker 3: Yeah, stop showing off.
- 26:05Speaker 4: And so you don't, right? But then we give people
- 26:08Speaker 4: an outlet to brag like Seabass who's just unashamed about
- 26:11Speaker 4: any of it.
- 26:11Speaker 3: Right.
- 26:13Speaker 4: But you have this random thought about, you know, How
- 26:15Speaker 4: old's your cutlery? And you're like, man, I really want
- 26:19Speaker 4: to call my buddy about this.
- 26:21Speaker 3: He's going to think I'm crazy.
- 26:22Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 26:23Speaker 3: I'm thinking about my force.
- 26:25Speaker 4: Yeah, so I'm just going to call the Woody Show
- 26:27Speaker 4: After Hours voicemail about it.
- 26:28Speaker 7: It's to save her back for sure.
- 26:30Speaker 6: I also feel they're doing that thing when I worked
- 26:32Speaker 6: at Little Caesars and I would pick up the phone
- 26:34Speaker 6: to take the order, people would not know what they wanted,
- 26:37Speaker 6: but they would call anyways.
- 26:39Speaker 3: And then they would call and they're like, Hold on.
- 26:42Speaker 3: I hated that when I worked at a pizza place.
- 26:45Speaker 4: Hey, what do you want?
- 26:46Speaker 7: Figure this out and then call.
- 26:48Speaker 3: Maybe have a pre-discussion. Get the consensus before you call.
- 26:52Speaker 3: Somebody said you.
- 26:54Speaker 4: Could upload a picture of your pet to chat GPT
- 26:56Speaker 4: or Gemini or Claw to ask what your pet would
- 26:58Speaker 4: look like if they were human.
- 26:59Speaker 3: I'm going to do it right now. I've seen that before.
- 27:01Speaker 3: It's kind of creepy. Okay. Gina's dog would look like
- 27:04Speaker 3: a little princess. Yeah. A little girly.
- 27:07Speaker 7: What would my dog look like if it were human?
- 27:09Speaker 3: A kid stuffed in a locker?
- 27:12Speaker 7: She got her first haircut. It's pretty cute, I gotta
- 27:15Speaker 7: tell you. All right, so sketching it, I'll let you know.
- 27:19Speaker 4: All right, after hours, voicemail, 877-44-WOODY.
- 27:21Speaker 5: Hi.
- 27:21Speaker 10: Hi. I gotta say, my husband loves your show. He
- 27:28Speaker 10: listens to it religiously. I would like to be as supportive. However,
- 27:34Speaker 10: I would love if you folks maybe... expired or did
- 27:41Speaker 10: away with the porno birthday situation.
- 27:44Speaker 3: How dare you?
- 27:45Speaker 10: Like, you're above that. You're beyond that.
- 27:49Speaker 3: Are we?
- 27:49Speaker 10: Maybe you can turn it into something else. Anyhow, that's
- 27:55Speaker 10: my suggestion for the night. Thanks for taking my call.
- 28:00Speaker 3: She sounds like she had some wine.
- 28:01Speaker 7: Yeah, I totally disagree.
- 28:03Speaker 3: Very highbrow.
- 28:04Speaker 4: Well, okay, so here's the thing. You know, I overthink
- 28:07Speaker 4: all this crap.
- 28:08Speaker 3: All of it.
- 28:10Speaker 4: And there have been stretches where I've given the porno
- 28:13Speaker 4: birthday a rest.
- 28:13Speaker 3: Yes.
- 28:14Speaker 4: And we've, you know, done other things, you know, in
- 28:16Speaker 4: that spot. Woody show fun facts and other things and
- 28:19Speaker 4: kind of rotate things through. And man, do people complain?
- 28:23Speaker 3: Yeah. Cause it falls.
- 28:25Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 28:25Speaker 4: But you figure like after a certain amount of time,
- 28:27Speaker 4: it's fun for a while. One of those things is okay.
- 28:28Speaker 4: It's fun for a while.
- 28:29Speaker 3: Yeah. But then.
- 28:31Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 28:31Speaker 3: It's like, all right, well, dude, it's one of those
- 28:34Speaker 3: things I've tried. There's a friend of mine.
- 28:38Speaker 4: He does a radio show and he's been doing these
- 28:41Speaker 4: like prank calls, phony phone calls since like the nineties.
- 28:47Speaker 4: And he hates it now. He's hated it for 20 years.
- 28:50Speaker 4: This guy's been on the same station for about 30
- 28:52Speaker 4: years now and he hates it, but the listeners won't
- 28:56Speaker 4: let him get rid of these things. He hates it.
- 29:00Speaker 4: He can't get rid of it.
- 29:01Speaker 3: He's stuck with it. It's like, oh boy. And so
- 29:05Speaker 3: he has to get on the air. All right, well,
- 29:07Speaker 3: we got another phony phone call coming up. We absolutely
- 29:10Speaker 3: have to. And he's rolling his eyes. Yeah, that is
- 29:12Speaker 3: so 90s.
- 29:13Speaker 7: Yeah, seriously.
- 29:14Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 29:15Speaker 7: Quick question. Do you guys remember that movie Children of
- 29:17Speaker 7: the Corn? With all those blonde kids that are chair-raising?
- 29:20Speaker 3: I've heard of it. I've never watched it.
- 29:22Speaker 7: Apparently, that's what my dog would look like. This little blonde,
- 29:25Speaker 7: waspy weirdo.
- 29:26Speaker 3: She looks cute. You don't think she looks cute?
- 29:29Speaker 7: It looks a little spooky to me.
- 29:30Speaker 4: Looks like a kid who gets taken away by family services.
- 29:33Speaker 7: Oh, really?
- 29:33Speaker 5: Yeah. Why?
- 29:34Speaker 3: Looks like a Macy's catalog kid.
- 29:36Speaker 8: Yeah, definitely.
- 29:36Speaker 7: Like the kid that comes with the frame.
- 29:38Speaker 3: Yeah, she would be in the frame.
- 29:40Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 29:41Speaker 3: 877-44-Woody. Here's some more feedback from the After Hours voicemail. Dude, Woody.
- 29:46Speaker 5: This is Mark calling from St.
- 29:48Speaker 2: Louis, Missouri. Listening to you on The Point.
- 29:50Speaker 8: Used to listen to you when you were on The
- 29:52Speaker 8: Point here.
- 29:53Speaker 2: With Rizzuto anyway. Dude, the Who Farted segment.
- 29:58Speaker 10: I'm 57 years old.
- 30:00Speaker 2: I laughed my effing ass off of that.
- 30:02Speaker 5: Thank you.
- 30:03Speaker 2: Yeah, you did. All right.
- 30:04Speaker 4: See, that's another one I overthought for a while, and
- 30:06Speaker 4: then I stopped.
- 30:07Speaker 3: I just let it go. You guys are above that.
- 30:10Speaker 5: Are we?
- 30:10Speaker 7: Come on now.
- 30:11Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 30:11Speaker 3: Clearly, you're new. You think we're above that. Who's farted?
- 30:15Speaker 7: Who farted?
- 30:16Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 30:16Speaker 3: This Who Farted game? It's the best game. Look, it
- 30:20Speaker 3: is fun. It's hilarious. But again, it's in moderation, like
- 30:23Speaker 3: everything else in life. It can't be a daily thing.
- 30:26Speaker 4: Yeah, that's the thing about buddying these calls every day.
- 30:30Speaker 3: And it's at certain times. He's like locked into it.
- 30:33Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 30:33Speaker 3: Can't do it. Can't get rid of it. Can I
- 30:37Speaker 3: share a high thought real quick?
- 30:38Speaker 8: Sure.
- 30:38Speaker 3: Because it's just, I've been wanting to know if anybody
- 30:41Speaker 3: ever does this. Let's say you're out at a restaurant
- 30:44Speaker 3: on a random Tuesday evening.
- 30:46Speaker 8: Sure.
- 30:46Speaker 3: You look at a table next to you. There's a
- 30:48Speaker 3: couple sitting there having their meal. Have you ever thought, wow,
- 30:51Speaker 3: even if I wasn't here, these two people would still
- 30:55Speaker 3: be sitting right there having their meal? Nope.
- 30:58Speaker 10: No?
- 30:58Speaker 2: Nope.
- 31:00Speaker 7: I mean, maybe as a little kid when you can't
- 31:02Speaker 7: fathom that other people have brains and personalities in life.
- 31:05Speaker 3: It's weird. I think about that all the time. You're
- 31:07Speaker 3: sitting there having a drink or something. You look across
- 31:09Speaker 3: the room and you're like, Even if I wasn't here,
- 31:10Speaker 3: like Woody, you just were at some resort. If you
- 31:13Speaker 3: were not there, the people lying on the beach, they'd
- 31:17Speaker 3: still be there.
- 31:17Speaker 7: Yeah, life goes on.
- 31:18Speaker 8: Even if you weren't.
- 31:19Speaker 3: It's such a weird thought. I think about it all
- 31:22Speaker 3: the time. It's weird.
- 31:23Speaker 6: It's definitely weird. If you believe in the butterfly effect,
- 31:25Speaker 6: they may not be there.
- 31:27Speaker 3: Oh, really?
- 31:28Speaker 7: Yeah, maybe not.
- 31:29Speaker 3: Oh, this is getting even trickier. If you're not there,
- 31:30Speaker 3: then they're not there either. What's the butterfly effect?
- 31:33Speaker 6: Is that like any like little piece of wind or
- 31:36Speaker 6: anything can like totally change.
- 31:38Speaker 7: Like if a butterfly flaps its wings in the Amazon,
- 31:41Speaker 7: that affects, you know, how NASA works or whatever. You
- 31:43Speaker 7: can make your, you can make a correlation, you know,
- 31:46Speaker 7: if you go long enough.
- 31:46Speaker 5: Right.
- 31:47Speaker 14: Then you go left instead of right because the butterfly
- 31:49Speaker 14: flew in your direction instead of the opposite way.
- 31:51Speaker 7: So you didn't get eaten by a cheetah.
- 31:55Speaker 3: Everybody high?
- 31:56Speaker 5: Yes.
- 31:59Speaker 6: Like Morgan, didn't you put blow your back out in
- 32:01Speaker 6: Asia on Invisible?
- 32:02Speaker 5: Yeah. See?
- 32:03Speaker 3: That's very specific. Be more like Morgan. The Woody Show.
- 32:11Speaker 4: Here's something else for Greg to unnecessarily worry about.
- 32:14Speaker 8: Oh, come on.
- 32:15Speaker 3: There's been too much lately, though.
- 32:16Speaker 4: I'm telling you the story so you don't see it
- 32:19Speaker 4: and just automatically start worrying.
- 32:21Speaker 3: And text you. Should I worry about this? Not going
- 32:23Speaker 3: to be that big of a deal.
- 32:24Speaker 5: All right.
- 32:24Speaker 3: But people are like, oh, my God.
- 32:26Speaker 1: So.
- 32:27Speaker 4: There's a chunk of the sun that's headed our way.
- 32:29Speaker 5: Oh, cool.
- 32:30Speaker 3: A chunk of the sun.
- 32:32Speaker 4: Yeah, so a giant cloud of charged particles blasted off
- 32:35Speaker 4: the sun's surface during an eruption, and scientists say it's
- 32:39Speaker 4: expected to reach Earth sometime in the next 24 hours.
- 32:42Speaker 7: Okay.
- 32:43Speaker 3: Do we know where?
- 32:44Speaker 4: It's called a coronal mass ejection. hate those and when
- 32:49Speaker 4: these things slam into the earth's magnetic field they can
- 32:52Speaker 4: mess with gps and radio communications and satellites if the
- 32:55Speaker 4: storm gets uh strong enough holy crap.
- 32:58Speaker 3: Is this the equivalent of a solar flare yeah like
- 33:00Speaker 3: we've heard in the in the news in the past
- 33:02Speaker 3: yeah and that messes with electronics Yeah, it could totally
- 33:06Speaker 3: shut off electronics.
- 33:07Speaker 4: The thing is, we won't know how intense it's going
- 33:10Speaker 4: to be until it gets closer. So, you know, maybe
- 33:13Speaker 4: look up from your phone for five seconds. There could
- 33:16Speaker 4: be something better happening in the sky. I don't even
- 33:18Speaker 4: know really how. I mean, if it affects electronics or GPS,
- 33:21Speaker 4: I could look at that. It's not like an incoming
- 33:23Speaker 4: meteor or something.
- 33:24Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 33:24Speaker 7: But if it happens, you won't be able to look
- 33:26Speaker 7: it up because your electronics won't work.
- 33:27Speaker 3: No, you look up. Literally. What about, and I've never
- 33:30Speaker 3: heard of these before, Kelvin waves. Kelvin waves. Have you
- 33:33Speaker 3: heard about that? I have not.
- 33:35Speaker 4: So there's a massive wave out in the Pacific, and
- 33:39Speaker 4: it's thought to reach California by October. It'll raise the
- 33:43Speaker 4: tide between 6 and 12 inches. So it's not like
- 33:46Speaker 4: a big tidal wave. It's just the entire— Going up
- 33:49Speaker 4: and up and up and up and up. Yeah, it's
- 33:51Speaker 4: a Kelvin wave, and I forget how they described it.
- 33:54Speaker 7: Well, this says it's a massive planetary-scale wave in the ocean—
- 33:57Speaker 7: that balances the rotation of the earth.
- 34:00Speaker 3: Oh, my God.
- 34:01Speaker 5: Cool.
- 34:02Speaker 3: There's just this.
- 34:02Speaker 7: Sounds like a big deal.
- 34:04Speaker 3: That's cool. It's going down. Overarching sense of dread that
- 34:08Speaker 3: I've had lately.
- 34:08Speaker 4: Yeah, I get it.
- 34:10Speaker 3: There's just something weird, and then now we've got the
- 34:13Speaker 3: sun chunks coming at us. Yeah, the robots want to
- 34:16Speaker 3: go up your butt. With all that stuff, I'm going
- 34:20Speaker 3: with the... stuff, listening to you, and becoming more paranoid. See,
- 34:28Speaker 3: I'm way more paranoid about Mother Nature. It affected my
- 34:32Speaker 3: porn watching.
- 34:33Speaker 5: Oh, no.
- 34:34Speaker 10: Why?
- 34:35Speaker 3: Well, you don't want that showing up because people are
- 34:37Speaker 3: going to find it. Here's the thing. This is what
- 34:39Speaker 3: this dude's looking at.
- 34:41Speaker 4: Anybody else, if you feel me on this, like, why
- 34:45Speaker 4: is everything, like, every time you go on, you know,
- 34:49Speaker 4: whatever one of those things is, you're going to tug
- 34:51Speaker 4: one and whatever, and you pull up the porn on
- 34:54Speaker 4: the phone.
- 34:54Speaker 3: You've all done it. No, I don't even know what
- 34:56Speaker 3: you're talking about.
- 34:58Speaker 4: Especially Greg the Perf.
- 35:00Speaker 3: There's porn on your phone? How did it get there?
- 35:04Speaker 4: Here's my question. Did the market really demand this? Everything
- 35:08Speaker 4: is either labeled teen or stepmother, brother, sister, whatever. Now,
- 35:14Speaker 4: it may look otherwise appealing, because you know they're not really.
- 35:18Speaker 3: Related.
- 35:18Speaker 2: Related.
- 35:19Speaker 3: Just a fantasy.
- 35:20Speaker 4: Yeah, you know they're not really, quote, teens. They're just like,
- 35:23Speaker 4: they look young or whatever.
- 35:25Speaker 3: Like, why? Yeah.
- 35:29Speaker 8: You know?
- 35:30Speaker 3: Like, so I won't click on it. On the off chance,
- 35:33Speaker 3: they are related.
- 35:34Speaker 4: Or this person, this video somehow made it on here.
- 35:38Speaker 3: Even though it's professionally shot, you could tell it was
- 35:40Speaker 3: done by, like, a... Like a studio. Yeah, but they
- 35:43Speaker 3: shouldn't be. Correct. Yeah, yeah.
- 35:46Speaker 4: And they're like, oh, well, we have a list now
- 35:48Speaker 4: of all the people who looked at this video.
- 35:50Speaker 7: Yeah, here's what you're into.
- 35:51Speaker 3: It's going to be hard to explain that.
- 35:53Speaker 4: No, I just saw the thumbnail and I go, that
- 35:55Speaker 4: looks like something I could tug it to.
- 35:56Speaker 3: It had nothing to do with it being teen. It's
- 35:59Speaker 3: just what it was called. You know what I mean?
- 36:00Speaker 4: Like, I didn't watch The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel for the title, clearly.
- 36:03Speaker 4: I've said that a million times. Dumb title for it.
- 36:05Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 36:05Speaker 4: But now I'm like, I'm on some list. Because this
- 36:08Speaker 4: video turned out that you know what I mean. Yeah, yeah,
- 36:10Speaker 4: you get paranoid. I'm going in a loop like stupid
- 36:13Speaker 4: affected porn watcher That's why you got to shoot your own.
- 36:15Speaker 3: But what god damn it. Why it goes in the
- 36:18Speaker 3: cloud Yeah, but like why?
- 36:21Speaker 4: Is there some crazy the babysitter thing was big? I
- 36:24Speaker 4: want to say like you know we had we had
- 36:27Speaker 4: a thing not that long ago It was like the
- 36:29Speaker 4: biggest the most popular categories. It was like Asian or
- 36:32Speaker 4: Asian you know, babysitter or whatever the different themes were.
- 36:36Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 36:36Speaker 6: Before that was the piece of delivery guy.
- 36:39Speaker 5: Right. Yeah.
- 36:39Speaker 4: The plumber, the guy coming over to fix the cable
- 36:42Speaker 4: or something like that. Who created, I want to know
- 36:46Speaker 4: who created demand for teen and steps and yeah. And
- 36:51Speaker 4: step parent, sibling stuff.
- 36:55Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 36:57Speaker 7: Yeah, why is that hot?
- 36:58Speaker 2: Why?
- 36:58Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 36:58Speaker 3: When did that become hot?
- 37:00Speaker 4: The other thing I never understood when Playboy never did it, but.
- 37:04Speaker 3: Penthouse did.
- 37:04Speaker 4: It was like Hustler and, you know, those kind of
- 37:07Speaker 4: like the more raunchy ones.
- 37:09Speaker 3: They always had chicks peeing. And you flip the page
- 37:13Speaker 3: and you go.
- 37:14Speaker 2: Oh, nice.
- 37:14Speaker 3: Next page. Chick peeing. Why? Who asked for this?
- 37:19Speaker 7: They're creating the demand.
- 37:20Speaker 3: Who asked for this? It's like we have those conversations like,
- 37:23Speaker 3: you know, what? Celiac disease. What percentage of the population
- 37:27Speaker 3: is really affected by this? And why does it seem
- 37:29Speaker 3: like it's 98%? Totally. Peanut allergy. That it's affected every
- 37:33Speaker 3: grocery store on Earth to have a gluten-free aisle. Yeah, why?
- 37:37Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 37:38Speaker 7: In those magazines, do you think it was really pee?
- 37:41Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 37:41Speaker 3: Oh, wow. Yeah.
- 37:43Speaker 4: That was way before, like, Photoshopping and stuff like that.
- 37:45Speaker 4: They could do certain things. But, man, to look that realistic.
- 37:50Speaker 3: Yeah. I can't even describe this one pose I saw.
- 37:52Speaker 3: But let's just use the word squatting.
- 37:54Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 37:54Speaker 3: Yeah. Over, like, Pyrex.
- 37:56Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 37:57Speaker 3: Or, like, a pitcher.
- 37:58Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 37:58Speaker 7: Oh, well, now I'm in.
- 37:59Speaker 3: What? And it was arcing like a rainbow shape, you know,
- 38:05Speaker 3: like going up. Oh, wow.
- 38:07Speaker 7: I have a friend who can do that. Tilt your pelvis.
- 38:09Speaker 3: What?
- 38:10Speaker 7: She should have made a ton of money.
- 38:11Speaker 3: She should go on America's Got Talent.
- 38:12Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 38:14Speaker 4: Somebody just texted me, working an Excel spreadsheet at my
- 38:17Speaker 4: office job while listening to Woody talk about incestuous porn
- 38:20Speaker 4: and how it inhibits his ability to watch porn.
- 38:22Speaker 3: What is this day? You're welcome.
- 38:25Speaker 4: See, Greg has random thoughts. I thought about, like, who
- 38:30Speaker 4: and why is this?
- 38:31Speaker 3: It's all of them.
- 38:31Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 38:34Speaker 3: It's either that.
- 38:35Speaker 7: Is it different combinations? Is it step-siblings, step-parents? What's the combination?
- 38:41Speaker 3: Anything step.
- 38:42Speaker 4: A lot of the step-mom is sampling her husband's son.
- 38:50Speaker 3: Get it, MILF?
- 38:51Speaker 1: Okay.
- 38:52Speaker 4: So these are like older ladies. There's a lot of
- 38:53Speaker 4: like stepdads and like his stepdaughter.
- 38:57Speaker 7: So every combination.
- 38:58Speaker 4: Or like, oh, the girl has her friend over.
- 39:01Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 39:02Speaker 4: And we should, you know, bang my stepbrother.
- 39:06Speaker 3: That's why i can't i've.
- 39:07Speaker 4: Got an idea somebody grabbed that yeah what happened what
- 39:09Speaker 4: happened to milf porn thank you on the text what
- 39:11Speaker 4: happened to milf porn.
- 39:13Speaker 3: That's why i campaigned hard against the movie clueless where
- 39:16Speaker 3: it culminates with her hooking up with her.
- 39:18Speaker 7: Stepbrother i couldn't agree more i never.
- 39:21Speaker 3: But they're divorced it doesn't count what.
- 39:24Speaker 6: About star wars when they're like legit brother and sister
- 39:27Speaker 6: and they're making.
- 39:27Speaker 4: Out they didn't know and maybe it's different maybe it's
- 39:31Speaker 4: different like when your parents got married you're adults already
- 39:34Speaker 4: you know what I mean Like that could feel different.
- 39:37Speaker 3: But like, okay, look at my situation.
- 39:39Speaker 4: You know, my mom, my stepdad, they started dating. I
- 39:42Speaker 4: was seven years old. These two girls have been in
- 39:45Speaker 4: my life. They're my sisters.
- 39:47Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 39:48Speaker 2: Right?
- 39:48Speaker 5: Right.
- 39:49Speaker 3: Like it doesn't, there's no step there. Like we might
- 39:51Speaker 3: as well be blood related.
- 39:52Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 39:53Speaker 3: See them, feel about them the same way. Totally.
- 39:56Speaker 5: Nope.
- 39:56Speaker 4: Nope.
- 39:57Speaker 3: Nope. Not going to happen. Not going to happen. Another text. Hey,
- 39:59Speaker 3: Woody's show.
- 40:00Speaker 4: Step porn is weirdly never going away. Has a huge following.
- 40:04Speaker 3: Here's the thing. It's even an anime.
- 40:06Speaker 2: What?
- 40:07Speaker 3: That seems illegal. Yeah. Well, anime also has like tentacle
- 40:11Speaker 3: porn and stuff. Yeah, that anime.
- 40:13Speaker 7: Was for like robots and monsters.
- 40:15Speaker 3: I don't know why he's into it.
- 40:16Speaker 5: 877.
- 40:16Speaker 3: Sorry for the tangent.
- 40:18Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 40:19Speaker 3: It's a valid fear.
- 40:20Speaker 2: Right?
- 40:21Speaker 3: Mother Nature and Pornwatch.
- 40:22Speaker 6: Uh-huh.
- 40:23Speaker 5: 877.
- 40:24Speaker 3: We're all worried about different things. Oh, man. I'm just
- 40:26Speaker 3: beyond worried.
- 40:27Speaker 4: Send us a text over to 22987. We'll be right back.
- 40:29Speaker 3: They were not what I thought they were. I thought
- 40:32Speaker 3: the only purpose was to make the outside world disappear.
- 40:37Speaker 1: The Woody Show.
- 40:39Speaker 3: We'll be right back.
- 40:41Speaker 4: What is, quote, popular and huge?
- 40:44Speaker 6: The Woody Show.
- 40:49Speaker 4: I'll tell you, man, I'm a mess recently. I feel
- 40:51Speaker 4: bad because Jeff is new. And so I feel like
- 40:56Speaker 4: Jeff joined at the worst time.
- 40:59Speaker 1: Oh, no.
- 41:00Speaker 4: Yeah, because he thinks that. You must think I'm a psycho, dude.
- 41:03Speaker 3: No, not at all.
- 41:04Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 41:04Speaker 4: I mean, all of us are a little, right? I've
- 41:07Speaker 4: been all over the place. I've been not myself, right?
- 41:10Speaker 4: All over the place. Becoming increasingly paranoid about stupid stuff.
- 41:14Speaker 4: And I'll give you another example. And I have something
- 41:17Speaker 4: I want to ask Jeff about. um what what is
- 41:23Speaker 4: it does it mean anything if like all of a
- 41:25Speaker 4: sudden you're yawning a lot like oh means you're tired
- 41:28Speaker 4: yeah it made me paranoid really i'm like i i
- 41:30Speaker 4: looked it up and then yeah sometimes you have a
- 41:32Speaker 4: hard time getting like almost like a full yawn.
- 41:34Speaker 3: I'm like what does that mean but you.
- 41:36Speaker 4: Know what that is it's like you're you're tripping yourself
- 41:38Speaker 4: out because you're like oh now it's like i'm yawning
- 41:40Speaker 4: too much it's so stupid like dude i'm sorry.
- 41:44Speaker 3: And you expressed this concern to jeff.
- 41:47Speaker 4: No, I am now.
- 41:48Speaker 3: Oh, okay. So I'm apologizing.
- 41:50Speaker 4: I'm saying just in general, I feel like I'm more
- 41:53Speaker 4: of a nut job than I've ever been.
- 41:55Speaker 3: Yeah, like I'm all over the place. Did you look
- 41:57Speaker 3: it up?
- 41:58Speaker 4: I'm constantly in thought on 18 different things at once,
- 42:01Speaker 4: and I'm becoming increasingly paranoid about stupid stuff.
- 42:05Speaker 3: I get it, though. Yeah, I get it. I can't
- 42:08Speaker 3: put my finger on it. Just like I said, a
- 42:10Speaker 3: generalized anxiety. It's so dumb. I'm afraid of natural disasters. Yeah,
- 42:17Speaker 3: whatever it is. Something.
- 42:18Speaker 6: But I don't want to speak for Jeff, but he
- 42:19Speaker 6: came from hip-hop radio, and there's so much drama in
- 42:22Speaker 6: there every day.
- 42:23Speaker 3: I'm sure this is nothing. I mean, you're doing a
- 42:27Speaker 3: great job. Thank you.
- 42:28Speaker 4: I haven't seen you roll your eyes yet.
- 42:30Speaker 3: No, not at all. I'm good.
- 42:32Speaker 4: Leave the room and rolls his eyes like, God damn it,
- 42:35Speaker 4: what did I get myself into?
- 42:36Speaker 3: Nah, man, remember, I got a wife and kids. I
- 42:38Speaker 3: got my own batch of problems.
- 42:39Speaker 13: So, like, I don't worry too much about everyone's little idiosyncrasies.
- 42:43Speaker 3: I'm cool.
- 42:43Speaker 4: I mean, he's got his own medical thing going on. So,
- 42:46Speaker 4: what's with your back? You were talking about your back.
- 42:49Speaker 4: Did you have surgery at one point?
- 42:51Speaker 3: Yeah, I had spinal effusion surgery.
- 42:53Speaker 4: Because what was that about? Like, what had happened? Did you, like,
- 42:56Speaker 4: fall or.
- 42:57Speaker 3: Nah, just wear and tear, dude.
- 42:58Speaker 13: You know, a lot of, you know, just doing stuff
- 43:00Speaker 13: at the house and sitting at work all day.
- 43:02Speaker 3: You know, you know, Really? You get older, man. Stuff
- 43:04Speaker 3: starts happening.
- 43:05Speaker 2: You're not old.
- 43:06Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm old enough. Not old enough.
- 43:09Speaker 13: But yeah, so anyways, it kind of just crept up
- 43:11Speaker 13: on me all the years of doing dumb stuff and
- 43:13Speaker 13: not taking care of myself, maybe crappy posture. So I
- 43:16Speaker 13: had my L4 and L5 fused together. So there's four
- 43:19Speaker 13: screws in there.
- 43:20Speaker 3: Oh, that's cool.
- 43:21Speaker 4: How long did it take to recover from a surgery
- 43:23Speaker 4: like that?
- 43:24Speaker 3: Never. I had two weeks. That's what iHeart gave me,
- 43:28Speaker 3: two weeks. It took a little bit longer than that.
- 43:32Speaker 3: I couldn't walk for the first week and a half.
- 43:35Speaker 3: So your wife had to help you in the bathroom
- 43:36Speaker 3: and stuff? No, I had a walker. So I had
- 43:40Speaker 3: a walker and all that stuff. So I kind of
- 43:41Speaker 3: retrained myself to do that. But it was cool.
- 43:44Speaker 13: Honestly, it's just a lot of soreness, a lot of stiffness. Um,
- 43:46Speaker 13: things like that, but you know, you got back to normal.
- 43:48Speaker 13: You really appreciated crap that, um, you.
- 43:50Speaker 3: Took for granted.
- 43:51Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 43:52Speaker 6: I was just listening to a podcast with Terry Dubrow, Dr.
- 43:55Speaker 6: Terry Dubrow, who's awesome by the way, we got to
- 43:57Speaker 6: get them on, but he was going through. all these
- 44:00Speaker 6: different surgeries, plastic surgery, everything. And he's like, he got
- 44:03Speaker 6: the back surgery. He's like, dude, that's the one that
- 44:05Speaker 6: you just don't want.
- 44:06Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 44:06Speaker 3: Because it's brutal. And it's been flaring up again. So, which,
- 44:11Speaker 3: you know, can happen. Cause once you kind of fuse
- 44:14Speaker 3: the two together, everything else gets affected all the way
- 44:17Speaker 3: up your spine. Right.
- 44:18Speaker 13: So it's been flaring up really badly lately. So much
- 44:20Speaker 13: so that I haven't been able to travel or anything.
- 44:23Speaker 13: And yesterday I went to acupuncture.
- 44:24Speaker 3: I've been trying like literally everything, everything. Honestly, it kicks ass, dude.
- 44:32Speaker 3: Like I love every time.
- 44:34Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 44:34Speaker 3: Every time I leave there, I feel so much better. Yeah.
- 44:39Speaker 13: And I'm going to continue to go because it seems
- 44:40Speaker 13: to be working positively along with like my PT and stuff.
- 44:43Speaker 3: But I honestly, I swear by it. Every time I went,
- 44:45Speaker 3: it's been awesome. Are you a chiropractor guy? Uh, yes,
- 44:49Speaker 3: but I haven't been in a long time to be honest.
- 44:51Speaker 3: Cause my chiropractor, um, he retired.
- 44:55Speaker 7: How long do they leave the little pins in?
- 44:57Speaker 3: Half an hour.
- 44:58Speaker 7: And how long do you feel good afterwards?
- 45:01Speaker 13: Um, I felt great since yesterday afternoon.
- 45:04Speaker 7: Oh, you still feel good.
- 45:05Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 45:05Speaker 3: Still feel good.
- 45:06Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 45:06Speaker 3: Cause now I'm getting that sciatica pain again and stuff
- 45:08Speaker 3: like that. And that stuff just blows. So I'm all in. Acupuncture.
- 45:12Speaker 3: Whatever it is, man. I'll give it a try. I
- 45:14Speaker 3: tried acupuncture.
- 45:14Speaker 4: I'm surprised T-Bat doesn't come running in there.
- 45:16Speaker 3: This is usually his.
- 45:17Speaker 4: It's like setting.
- 45:18Speaker 3: Up a flare. A bat signal.
- 45:21Speaker 4: Actually, look, I don't believe the chiropractor thing either. I've
- 45:25Speaker 4: been curious about it. I'm curious, but way too afraid.
- 45:29Speaker 4: And every time I get close to making an appointment,
- 45:32Speaker 4: because there are plenty of people in my life. Jeff
- 45:35Speaker 4: G is apparently another one who goes, yeah, man, it's great.
- 45:38Speaker 4: I have other people who swear by it. And they
- 45:41Speaker 4: go all the time, and they love it, and they
- 45:42Speaker 4: swear it works. And every time I get close to
- 45:45Speaker 4: making the appointment, I go, you know what?
- 45:46Speaker 5: F it.
- 45:47Speaker 3: We're going to give it a shot.
- 45:48Speaker 4: I back out at the last minute because I'm like, nope, dude,
- 45:50Speaker 4: they're going to snap my neck.
- 45:52Speaker 3: Oh, that's the most awesome feeling. I bet you it is.
- 45:54Speaker 4: Getting paralyzed.
- 45:55Speaker 3: Here's the thing. I bet you it is.
- 45:59Speaker 4: Because I know when you crack whatever, whatever cracks your neck.
- 46:03Speaker 3: Joints and stuff, man, that feels good. I can only imagine.
- 46:07Speaker 4: My neck, I know like Greg and different people, they
- 46:09Speaker 4: can crack their neck on their own.
- 46:12Speaker 3: If it turns, it cracks.
- 46:13Speaker 4: And it feels like my neck needs to crack, but
- 46:18Speaker 4: I can't get it to do it. I just know
- 46:20Speaker 4: I'm going to end up, they say like people have
- 46:24Speaker 4: gone to chiropractors and it's triggered a stroke.
- 46:26Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah. You know, I'm going to be stroked out.
- 46:28Speaker 2: Absolutely.
- 46:30Speaker 4: Or they're just gonna snap my neck like you see
- 46:33Speaker 4: in action movies and they kill the guys.
- 46:36Speaker 3: I'll be dead there at the chiropractor's office.
- 46:38Speaker 13: I'm going to tell you, I would try anything and
- 46:41Speaker 13: everything so you don't get into my situation because I
- 46:43Speaker 13: just figured, oh, my back's just sore.
- 46:44Speaker 3: Oh, no big deal. Oh, whatever. And then look what
- 46:46Speaker 3: happened to me. I ended up having to get surgery
- 46:48Speaker 3: because I procrastinated so long and didn't do like the
- 46:51Speaker 3: little things to make myself feel better like regularly. So
- 46:54Speaker 3: I would recommend that. I would just go for it.
- 46:57Speaker 3: This is one thing that we always talk about with
- 46:58Speaker 3: the chiropractors. And it's a hard argument to beat. Like
- 47:01Speaker 3: if they're so legit, why are they always in the
- 47:03Speaker 3: strip malls next to the booze? Like the liquor stores.
- 47:06Speaker 3: The Chinese food restaurants. Those dudes are sus. I'll give
- 47:10Speaker 3: you that. But like go to a real one and
- 47:12Speaker 3: you'll be fine. Those are real ones.
- 47:13Speaker 6: Dude, the thing that I see online like crazy now
- 47:17Speaker 6: is that whole thing where the chiropractor puts their thumb
- 47:20Speaker 6: in people's mouths.
- 47:21Speaker 3: Have you seen that?
- 47:22Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 47:22Speaker 7: What was the celebrity that did that?
- 47:24Speaker 3: Leanne Rimes did it and she started crying. Yeah, I
- 47:25Speaker 3: started crying.
- 47:26Speaker 6: Now I see it like crazy in the same response
- 47:29Speaker 6: of people.
- 47:29Speaker 3: Kind of hot. It's like when you're sticking your fingers
- 47:31Speaker 3: in someone's mouth while you're having sex. Are you sure
- 47:32Speaker 3: it's their thumb?
- 47:33Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 47:33Speaker 3: That's like TMJ, right? For the jaw.
- 47:36Speaker 4: What if the chiropractor puts his thumb in your mouth
- 47:39Speaker 4: and you start doing like how like chicks will do,
- 47:40Speaker 4: like they suck on fingers and stuff.
- 47:43Speaker 3: So wait, they put the thumb in and then what?
- 47:45Speaker 3: They yank it? Yeah.
- 47:46Speaker 6: And it does like a popping sound.
- 47:49Speaker 3: I would try that. When you have the back pain,
- 47:51Speaker 3: you get desperate. I did copying with the.
- 47:55Speaker 7: That I don't understand at all.
- 47:56Speaker 3: Cupping sucks. I thought it hurt. They talked me into
- 47:59Speaker 3: it when I went for a massage one time. I
- 48:00Speaker 3: don't like it.
- 48:01Speaker 7: I don't even get it.
- 48:02Speaker 3: Too hot. It's hot? Traction, epidurals, did all that stuff. Yeah,
- 48:08Speaker 3: I did those shots too. And honestly, those scare me
- 48:10Speaker 3: more than the surgery or acupuncture because that's crazy stuff, man.
- 48:14Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 48:14Speaker 4: Someone in the text, chiropractor's dope, dude. Best feeling. The feeling,
- 48:20Speaker 4: the cracks all over.
- 48:21Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 48:22Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 48:22Speaker 3: You feel taller, man. Like, you know, like you just
- 48:25Speaker 3: feel so lightweight.
- 48:26Speaker 7: Yeah, you're not as compressed.
- 48:28Speaker 3: Woody's just fat and needs to exercise. Any doctor will
- 48:33Speaker 3: tell you that. Yeah. 877-44-WOODY. It doesn't matter how skinny
- 48:36Speaker 3: you get. You're still going to be. Like, over whatever
- 48:40Speaker 3: they want you to be at.
- 48:41Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 48:42Speaker 4: It's impossible. Yeah, you're 100 pounds and 6 foot tall.
- 48:46Speaker 3: Yeah. Your BMI is still a little high. You're obese.
- 48:49Speaker 4: Yeah, right. Yeah, you're not morbidly obese, but you're obese.
- 48:53Speaker 3: You're clinically obese. All right, I think Rich DeMuro is
- 48:57Speaker 3: ready to go.
- 48:57Speaker 2: Oh, sweet.
- 48:58Speaker 4: So, Rich on tech. There's lots to talk about, man.
- 49:01Speaker 4: The iPhone announcement, the new iPhone Duo. There's some other
- 49:05Speaker 4: stuff in the tech world. We're going to talk about
- 49:06Speaker 4: it all. Rich on Tech joins us next here on
- 49:09Speaker 4: The Woody Show.
- 49:09Speaker 3: Hang on. Look at him.
- 49:10Speaker 6: He's so nervous.
- 49:11Speaker 3: I think it's just his look.
- 49:13Speaker 4: He has some kind of like resting bitch face.
- 49:15Speaker 7: Resting anxiety face.
- 49:17Speaker 1: What is you?
- 49:20Speaker 4: Well, time to welcome in Rich DiMuro. He's a tech reporter.
- 49:24Speaker 4: He hosts the Rich on Tech radio show. You can
- 49:28Speaker 4: subscribe to his free newsletter, richontech.tv. And just so you know,
- 49:32Speaker 4: everything we talk about with Rich, he's got a link
- 49:35Speaker 4: on his website, richontech.tv.
- 49:38Speaker 3: You can find him on social media.
- 49:40Speaker 4: And I got to tell you, Rich, Jeff G was
- 49:43Speaker 4: going on and on about your coverage of of the
- 49:47Speaker 4: announcements from Apple with the.
- 49:49Speaker 3: New iPhone Duo, which I know we're going to get into,
- 49:51Speaker 3: but you said they did a really nice job.
- 49:53Speaker 13: Yeah, I think, Rich, what I enjoy about it most
- 49:55Speaker 13: is you narrowed in on all the things that I
- 49:59Speaker 13: had questions about, like how is it going to open
- 50:02Speaker 13: and close?
- 50:02Speaker 3: Is it going to be sturdy?
- 50:04Speaker 13: Yeah, like you answered all the questions that I was
- 50:07Speaker 13: curious about because when they show it to you on
- 50:09Speaker 13: your computer, you're saying, okay, this is great, but how
- 50:12Speaker 13: is it going to be when it gets in my hand?
- 50:14Speaker 3: And you do really well at that, Rich. Yeah. Nice job. Well,
- 50:16Speaker 3: thank you. Look at you, Rich.
- 50:17Speaker 5: I mean, look, when you're looking at stuff on the
- 50:20Speaker 5: Apple website or wherever, it's all marketing, right? They want
- 50:23Speaker 5: to sell this to you. But for me, since I
- 50:25Speaker 5: get emails from a lot of people out there that
- 50:27Speaker 5: listen to my show or watch what I do, I
- 50:30Speaker 5: kind of know what the average person is wondering, not
- 50:33Speaker 5: just for the Apple foldable, but for a lot of things.
- 50:35Speaker 5: And that's really what I try to do is incorporate
- 50:38Speaker 5: what I'm getting asked on a personal level to my coverage.
- 50:42Speaker 5: And I think that that really helps people understand what
- 50:44Speaker 5: other people want to know. Yeah.
- 50:46Speaker 4: Well, Rich, welcome to the show. And I thought that
- 50:49Speaker 4: was a very nice intro. I mean, starting off with
- 50:52Speaker 4: a compliment is always good. And I promise you, this
- 50:54Speaker 4: is not like what management does where it's like build, burn.
- 50:57Speaker 4: The compliment sandwich.
- 50:59Speaker 3: There's no negative in here.
- 51:01Speaker 5: This will be my last appearance. We'll never hear from
- 51:05Speaker 5: you again.
- 51:06Speaker 3: Yeah, no, no.
- 51:07Speaker 4: So, Rich, what can you tell us about the new
- 51:10Speaker 4: iPhone Duo? I mean, let's just start with the regular iPhones,
- 51:13Speaker 4: like the 17 to the 18, the Pro. Doesn't seem
- 51:17Speaker 4: to be really any difference. There's a new processor chip.
- 51:19Speaker 4: It's a slightly longer battery. The big news has been
- 51:22Speaker 4: about this foldable iPhone Duo, which, you know, somebody had
- 51:26Speaker 4: said in Menace and I wasn't there for the conversation
- 51:28Speaker 4: that you said you won't get it. Simply because foldable
- 51:32Speaker 4: phones are for old people.
- 51:33Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 51:33Speaker 6: It's mostly for old people that want to watch their videos.
- 51:36Speaker 6: I believe I didn't use the word.
- 51:39Speaker 5: Old, but I will tell you, I fancy myself. I'm
- 51:43Speaker 5: not a content creator, like, you know, a YouTuber or
- 51:45Speaker 5: someone like that, but I am in the business of
- 51:48Speaker 5: creating content. And if you want to have the best
- 51:51Speaker 5: video and the best photos on an iPhone and the
- 51:54Speaker 5: best audio. It's really about the iPhone 18 pro and
- 51:57Speaker 5: pro max. And any person that's creating stuff for TV
- 52:00Speaker 5: or radio or anything will tell you that now I
- 52:03Speaker 5: think for the rest of America that is watching Netflix,
- 52:06Speaker 5: watching Tik TOK. Um, you know, they want to text
- 52:08Speaker 5: with their friends. They want to look at their photos.
- 52:11Speaker 5: This is an incredible canvas for that. And I think
- 52:15Speaker 5: it's very expensive. It's $ 2, 000. So I think there's going
- 52:17Speaker 5: to be some question of whether people want to spend
- 52:20Speaker 5: that much, but the software is what shines to me.
- 52:24Speaker 5: And also the fact that it's water and dust resistant,
- 52:27Speaker 5: which we haven't seen on a lot of these foldables,
- 52:29Speaker 5: and the fact that it has MagSafe, plus the apps
- 52:32Speaker 5: that you love are all going to add up to
- 52:34Speaker 5: something that when people see this, they go, oh, that's
- 52:36Speaker 5: kind of cool. I can have an iPad that folds
- 52:38Speaker 5: down into a phone.
- 52:39Speaker 4: Yeah, because you had said, I had reached out to
- 52:41Speaker 4: Rich right after the announcement because I saw, you know,
- 52:43Speaker 4: he was covering the event, obviously. And I said, hey, man,
- 52:46Speaker 4: so what are your thoughts?
- 52:47Speaker 3: Duo, love, no?
- 52:49Speaker 4: And he said, this is the first foldable I could
- 52:51Speaker 4: see myself using.
- 52:52Speaker 2: Oh, wow.
- 52:53Speaker 6: Yeah, but it's interesting that you say TikTok and stuff
- 52:55Speaker 6: like that. I didn't see them highlighting any social media
- 52:58Speaker 6: apps or even when people were playing with them.
- 53:02Speaker 5: No, Menace, you are so right on that. And it's
- 53:04Speaker 5: so wild because I've been wanting to see what Instagram
- 53:08Speaker 5: is going to look like on this phone because... We
- 53:11Speaker 5: know on the Samsung version, which is a very similar
- 53:13Speaker 5: form factor, the Z Fold 8, the social media apps
- 53:17Speaker 5: where you're scrolling vertically are not a very good experience.
- 53:20Speaker 5: They're kind of squeezed on the outside screen and they're
- 53:23Speaker 5: oversized on the inside screen. And so I'm like, okay,
- 53:26Speaker 5: how is Apple going to fix this? But the difference
- 53:29Speaker 5: is they showed off Netflix and Netflix was completely optimized
- 53:33Speaker 5: for this form factor. And you know, because it's Apple,
- 53:36Speaker 5: all these app makers are going to optimize their apps
- 53:39Speaker 5: for these this new screen or these new screens, since
- 53:42Speaker 5: there's two different sizes on there. And so I think
- 53:44Speaker 5: that's going to be the big difference between what we've
- 53:46Speaker 5: seen from the other makers and Apple is that the
- 53:49Speaker 5: whole software experience from what Apple's doing to what the
- 53:52Speaker 5: app makers are doing are going to work on this
- 53:55Speaker 5: new form factor.
- 53:56Speaker 4: So does it mean men are going to have to
- 53:57Speaker 4: start shooting stuff in landscape again?
- 53:58Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 53:59Speaker 3: It was like horizontal. was bad. Landscape was better.
- 54:05Speaker 4: Now it's back to horizontal and no landscape.
- 54:08Speaker 6: Well, they're doing the dual recording now. I don't know, Rich,
- 54:13Speaker 6: if they had that. I didn't see that in the
- 54:15Speaker 6: announcements for the 18. But the dual recording, there are
- 54:19Speaker 6: apps now that will shoot in both landscape and verticals.
- 54:23Speaker 3: So that's good.
- 54:24Speaker 4: So Rich, one thing I wanted to bring up, I
- 54:26Speaker 4: don't know if you've heard anything about it. So there
- 54:29Speaker 4: are some, not a lot, because there are more right-handed
- 54:31Speaker 4: people than left-handed people that are saying that the iPhone
- 54:34Speaker 4: Duo is discriminatory because the phone itself isn't the best
- 54:37Speaker 4: fit for left-handed people. And I have a clip here
- 54:40Speaker 4: and we can listen and you can give us your thoughts.
- 54:42Speaker 15: When we look at the hardware design for the iPhone Duo,
- 54:44Speaker 15: you'll notice it has an asymmetrical design with sharp right
- 54:47Speaker 15: corners on the hinge side and soft rounded corners on
- 54:50Speaker 15: the outside. And they do this intentionally so you can
- 54:52Speaker 15: have a nice soft rounded edge resting on your hand
- 54:55Speaker 15: rather than a sharp corner stabbing into your palm. But
- 54:58Speaker 15: even worse than that, the iPhone Duo also had a
- 55:00Speaker 15: major software change because instead of having your home screen dock, toolbars,
- 55:04Speaker 15: and app controls on the bottom of your phone like
- 55:06Speaker 15: they always were, now they're gonna be on the right-hand side.
- 55:10Speaker 15: But if you're left-handed, you're gonna have a sharp right
- 55:12Speaker 15: corner stabbing the palm of your hand and you're gonna
- 55:14Speaker 15: have to reach all the way across an even wider
- 55:16Speaker 15: phone just to send a text message.
- 55:18Speaker 4: Is it discriminatory against left-handed people?
- 55:21Speaker 7: Am I gonna hurt myself?
- 55:22Speaker 5: I think all of the world is discriminatory against left-handed people.
- 55:25Speaker 5: Have you ever tried to use a scissor left-handed?
- 55:27Speaker 4: It doesn't work.
- 55:28Speaker 3: Try to sit at a desk in school.
- 55:31Speaker 5: My wife is left-handed and you ever try to use
- 55:33Speaker 5: a pen left-handed, it smears the whole way over to
- 55:35Speaker 5: the right.
- 55:36Speaker 3: That's why you don't want to be a left-handed weirdo,
- 55:38Speaker 3: you know? Just train yourself.
- 55:41Speaker 5: I would say, I don't think Apple, look, Apple is
- 55:45Speaker 5: huge into accessibility features. And so I would say, If
- 55:49Speaker 5: there's not a solution for this at launch, perhaps they
- 55:52Speaker 5: will make it so that you can flip the phone
- 55:53Speaker 5: over and use it the other way.
- 55:54Speaker 3: I don't know. Oh, that makes sense. Yeah.
- 55:57Speaker 5: Well, you'd have the camera on the bottom on the back, though,
- 56:00Speaker 5: so that would be weird.
- 56:01Speaker 4: I was thinking, like, if you're watching something, you could
- 56:03Speaker 4: turn the whole picture shifts.
- 56:06Speaker 6: Yeah, it has the front-facing camera on it. Would it
- 56:09Speaker 6: be weird to like flip it around?
- 56:11Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 56:11Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 56:11Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 56:12Speaker 5: We'll see. They can, they can move the things over
- 56:14Speaker 5: to the left-hand side if necessary. They might also give
- 56:17Speaker 5: you options on where to put the dock, but yeah,
- 56:19Speaker 5: that could.
- 56:19Speaker 3: Be, it could be an issue.
- 56:20Speaker 4: And the other thing I want to bring up because
- 56:21Speaker 4: there's a new operating system. What can you tell us
- 56:23Speaker 4: about that?
- 56:24Speaker 3: Good, bad?
- 56:24Speaker 4: No.
- 56:25Speaker 5: I will tell you the biggest new feature is really
- 56:27Speaker 5: the fact that Siri is getting AI smarts. I don't
- 56:30Speaker 5: know if you guys have used this at all. If
- 56:32Speaker 5: you've downloaded the beta, but Siri, It is unbelievable. Like
- 56:36Speaker 5: I'm not kidding when I tell you Siri is finally
- 56:39Speaker 5: the personal assistant we've always wanted in an iPhone. Just
- 56:43Speaker 5: to give you an example, you're looking at something on
- 56:45Speaker 5: your screen. Let's say concert that you want to add
- 56:48Speaker 5: to your calendar. You don't have to even take a screenshot.
- 56:50Speaker 5: You just invoke Siri and say, add this to my calendar.
- 56:53Speaker 5: And she'll figure out what you're looking at, what the
- 56:56Speaker 5: dates are, how to put it in your calendar, summarize it,
- 56:59Speaker 5: whatever you want.
- 57:00Speaker 4: As medicine say, I'll see it when I believe it.
- 57:03Speaker 3: I'm not kidding.
- 57:05Speaker 5: I have to think of ways to not use this
- 57:08Speaker 5: because it's so handy. It finally understands everything you're asking
- 57:11Speaker 5: it to do because it's AI on the backend. So
- 57:14Speaker 5: it's not just like you need to say something like
- 57:17Speaker 5: a robot and a robot responds immediately. It's like, Hey Siri,
- 57:20Speaker 5: what do you think of this? And she'll tell you, I.
- 57:22Speaker 4: Mean, I would love for them to get it right.
- 57:25Speaker 4: Even when you're just using, like, you're trying to do
- 57:26Speaker 4: voice to text, like let's get that right.
- 57:29Speaker 3: Oh, I see.
- 57:32Speaker 5: Siri.
- 57:33Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 57:33Speaker 3: You said her name.
- 57:34Speaker 5: I am happy to report voice to text is a
- 57:37Speaker 5: lot better as well. It is not to the level
- 57:40Speaker 5: of what Google's doing on their pixel, which is called Rambler. Um,
- 57:43Speaker 5: that's AI voice to text, but I will say I
- 57:45Speaker 5: have been using the AI voice or the, sorry, the
- 57:48Speaker 5: voice to text with iOS 27 more than I ever
- 57:51Speaker 5: have before on the iPhone.
- 57:53Speaker 4: Cause I found like when I'm texting and driving and
- 57:56Speaker 4: I'm trying to send a text, um, I'm trying to be,
- 57:58Speaker 4: you know, good and use the voice to text thing,
- 58:00Speaker 4: but I'm making more corrections and having to backspace. Like,
- 58:04Speaker 4: it's just easier if I just like punch it out
- 58:05Speaker 4: with my thumbs and drive with my knees.
- 58:08Speaker 3: Exclamation point. Yeah. Yeah.
- 58:10Speaker 4: Then, then, then do it the other way. But the
- 58:12Speaker 4: one thing I did see with the new operating system
- 58:13Speaker 4: was kind of interesting. Like if you're calling somewhere, you are,
- 58:16Speaker 4: we're looking for like your flight information because you're, you're
- 58:19Speaker 4: calling to make a whatever call. And it'll automatically bring up, like,
- 58:22Speaker 4: you don't have to like go into your email.
- 58:25Speaker 3: And then find your confirmation number.
- 58:27Speaker 4: Like that information, when it gets asked on the, uh,
- 58:30Speaker 4: on the phone call, that information will pop up on
- 58:33Speaker 4: your screen.
- 58:35Speaker 5: That is, that is another feature of the AI. I
- 58:37Speaker 5: have not seen that happen yet, but I've noticed there's
- 58:40Speaker 5: a lot more little AI throughout the whole operating system
- 58:43Speaker 5: where basically what it's doing, and this is going to,
- 58:45Speaker 5: you're going to notice this when you upgrade your phone.
- 58:48Speaker 5: it basically takes like almost a couple of days to
- 58:52Speaker 5: index all of the information on your phone, because the
- 58:54Speaker 5: way that they're doing this is super private. So nothing
- 58:57Speaker 5: gets sent to Apple's like servers to index. They're creating
- 59:00Speaker 5: this AI index on your phone of all your information,
- 59:04Speaker 5: which includes your text messages, your emails, all the websites
- 59:07Speaker 5: you visit, like basically anything, your photos, And that way
- 59:10Speaker 5: you can ask Siri about anything inside of those things.
- 59:14Speaker 5: So you can say, what was that book that Menace recommended.
- 59:16Speaker 3: Me to read last year? What now?
- 59:22Speaker 5: That would never happen. So keep in mind, it will
- 59:27Speaker 5: index your phone for the first... It takes probably a
- 59:30Speaker 5: good amount of time. Three days, maybe four days, depending
- 59:33Speaker 5: on how long your phone's on the charger. And keep
- 59:35Speaker 5: in mind, you only get Siri AI if you have
- 59:37Speaker 5: an iPhone 15 Pro or higher. So a lot of
- 59:41Speaker 5: people will be left out here. And of course... That's
- 59:43Speaker 5: who Apple wants to upgrade to the new devices.
- 59:46Speaker 4: Well, we have plenty of other tech stuff that we're
- 59:47Speaker 4: going to talk about with Rich DeMuro. Rich on Tech,
- 59:49Speaker 4: who's on with us, tech reporter, host of the Rich
- 59:51Speaker 4: on Tech radio show on hundreds of radio stations. You
- 59:55Speaker 4: can subscribe to his free newsletter, richontech.tv. Find him on
- 1:00:00Speaker 4: social media at Rich on Tech. And as we go
- 1:00:03Speaker 4: into this first break here, Rich, I want you to
- 1:00:05Speaker 4: listen to this and tell me how much you agree
- 1:00:08Speaker 4: with what this guy is saying.
- 1:00:09Speaker 3: You know the most.
- 1:00:09Speaker 12: Annoying thing about Apple announcing their new product is that
- 1:00:13Speaker 12: inevitably when they tell us what features the new phone has,
- 1:00:16Speaker 12: there's going to be some ass with an Android. It's
- 1:00:19Speaker 12: going to be like, you.
- 1:00:20Speaker 6: Know, Galaxy had that feature in 2016.
- 1:00:25Speaker 3: Yeah, I know. If I wanted a Galaxy, I'd buy
- 1:00:28Speaker 3: a Galaxy.
- 1:00:29Speaker 12: It's like when I drove a Range Rover around every day,
- 1:00:31Speaker 12: but my rental was.
- 1:00:32Speaker 5: A Kia, and the f * * * ing.
- 1:00:34Speaker 12: Kia had wireless airplay, but my Range Rover didn't. It
- 1:00:37Speaker 12: didn't suddenly make me want to go drive a Kia instead.
- 1:00:40Speaker 3: Of a f * * * ing Range Rover.
- 1:00:41Speaker 12: This one-sided beef needs to end, because guess what? You
- 1:00:44Speaker 12: never see an iPhone user making comments when.
- 1:00:47Speaker 3: A f * * * ing new.
- 1:00:47Speaker 12: Galaxy drops, because nobody gives a f * * *.
- 1:00:49Speaker 12: You don't even know when that s * * * happens,
- 1:00:51Speaker 12: but everybody knows every September, Apple's going to release.
- 1:00:54Speaker 3: Some new s * * *.
- 1:00:55Speaker 12: Just because your cheap-ass phone has some feature that an
- 1:00:58Speaker 12: iPhone doesn't, it doesn't suddenly make it better than an iPhone.
- 1:01:01Speaker 3: Your phone still sucks. You're still an ass.
- 1:01:04Speaker 6: Nobody likes you.
- 1:01:08Speaker 4: It's not if you agree, Rich. It's how much you
- 1:01:10Speaker 4: agree on a scale of 1 to 10.
- 1:01:11Speaker 7: Is it a 9 or a 10?
- 1:01:13Speaker 5: I'd say a nine. I actually, I actually replied. I
- 1:01:17Speaker 5: don't usually reply to those comments on my Instagram. I
- 1:01:19Speaker 5: did that this morning and I'm not kidding. The person deleted,
- 1:01:22Speaker 5: they just like crouched back into their rock and they
- 1:01:25Speaker 5: just deleted their comment altogether.
- 1:01:27Speaker 3: I was like, oh, okay.
- 1:01:28Speaker 5: I thought so.
- 1:01:29Speaker 4: It's so funny that divide, man, between the iPhone and
- 1:01:32Speaker 4: the Android crowd.
- 1:01:32Speaker 3: Like, dude, just whatever phone you like, just work with that.
- 1:01:36Speaker 4: Ratings come out every week and if they're not good
- 1:01:38Speaker 4: or good enough, that's the review.
- 1:01:40Speaker 3: That's the review.
- 1:01:40Speaker 10: That's the review.
- 1:01:43Speaker 4: We are Talking Tech with Rich DeMuro. Rich on Tech,
- 1:01:46Speaker 4: he's a tech reporter. He's the host of the Rich
- 1:01:49Speaker 4: on Tech radio show. There's a podcast, so wherever you
- 1:01:51Speaker 4: get your favorite podcasts, you can find the Rich on
- 1:01:54Speaker 4: Tech radio show. You can subscribe to his free newsletter
- 1:01:57Speaker 4: at richontech.tv. If you're just tuning in on our podcast today,
- 1:02:03Speaker 4: you'll be able to hear our big, thorough conversation. We're
- 1:02:06Speaker 4: talking about the new iPhones, the iPhone Duo, the new
- 1:02:09Speaker 4: operating system. and all things about that big announcement that
- 1:02:13Speaker 4: happened last week. But now we're going to move on
- 1:02:16Speaker 4: to some other tech things, and I brought this up
- 1:02:18Speaker 4: on the show, Rich, talking about, and I think a
- 1:02:21Speaker 4: lot of people saw this video, about LG TVs, and
- 1:02:25Speaker 4: they're listening in on your conversations, and they're storing information,
- 1:02:29Speaker 4: and then even if it's not connected to the Wi-Fi
- 1:02:31Speaker 4: or the Internet.
- 1:02:32Speaker 3: Still doing it.
- 1:02:33Speaker 4: Still doing it, and it'll just wait to send that
- 1:02:35Speaker 4: information until... The next time it connects in some way
- 1:02:39Speaker 4: shape or form to the internet What have you heard
- 1:02:41Speaker 4: about this and you know, you know, how much do
- 1:02:43Speaker 4: we really need to be concerned about stuff like this?
- 1:02:46Speaker 5: Well, I think in general when it comes to privacy
- 1:02:48Speaker 5: We should always what I recommend look in the settings
- 1:02:52Speaker 5: look in your settings when you get a new gadget
- 1:02:55Speaker 5: Just check out the settings what these manufacturers do is
- 1:02:58Speaker 5: they slip in these little optional things these toggles and
- 1:03:02Speaker 5: that are usually in their favor, right? Like share your information,
- 1:03:06Speaker 5: share your clicks, share, you know, responses to what you're
- 1:03:09Speaker 5: doing so that we can look at them and like
- 1:03:11Speaker 5: kind of understand how you're using your device, turn all
- 1:03:13Speaker 5: that stuff off.
- 1:03:14Speaker 3: No matter what.
- 1:03:14Speaker 5: Gadget you have, you're not, you're not ruining these companies
- 1:03:17Speaker 5: that make these products. There's plenty of people that leave
- 1:03:19Speaker 5: those toggles on. Now, when it comes to LG specifically,
- 1:03:22Speaker 5: they have come out against this in a big way.
- 1:03:24Speaker 5: They said, absolutely not. We do not do this. Uh,
- 1:03:28Speaker 5: they do not record or transmit users conversations. And so
- 1:03:32Speaker 5: they are pretty adamant about the fact that this report
- 1:03:35Speaker 5: was false. And so they've come out with a couple
- 1:03:38Speaker 5: of different blog posts and things explaining themselves. Now, the
- 1:03:41Speaker 5: thing I think most people need to be concerned about
- 1:03:44Speaker 5: is something called ACR. This is called automatic content recognition.
- 1:03:50Speaker 5: Almost every single smart TV has it. And basically. What
- 1:03:53Speaker 5: it's doing is it's scanning whatever is playing on your
- 1:03:56Speaker 5: TV screen. Does not matter the input. It could be
- 1:03:59Speaker 5: a Blu-ray. It could be over the air. It could
- 1:04:01Speaker 5: be a streaming service. It scans what's happening on the screen.
- 1:04:05Speaker 5: It analyzes that information and it sells it back to
- 1:04:08Speaker 5: the company that makes your TV who then monetizes it
- 1:04:11Speaker 5: through advertising. Now it's done anonymously, but still we know
- 1:04:15Speaker 5: anonymous information can easily be linked back to us. So
- 1:04:18Speaker 5: I would go in and turn off anything about content recognition.
- 1:04:22Speaker 3: On your TV.
- 1:04:22Speaker 4: So if you have LG, what that setting is, it's
- 1:04:26Speaker 4: not labeled as ACR on LG TVs. It's labeled as
- 1:04:30Speaker 4: something that sounds really friendly. It's labeled as live plus,
- 1:04:35Speaker 4: which sounds like a perk, right? Like live plus, but
- 1:04:39Speaker 4: that's what it is. That's, that's ACR. What, what Rich
- 1:04:42Speaker 4: is talking about. If you have an LG TV, you
- 1:04:44Speaker 4: turn off, live plus 200.
- 1:04:46Speaker 5: Yeah, they all use these friendly names that sounds like
- 1:04:50Speaker 5: you're benefiting. It's like, we use this information to help
- 1:04:54Speaker 5: suggest shows and content that you might want. And it's like, no, no, no.
- 1:04:58Speaker 5: You're literally just identifying stuff that I watch on my TV.
- 1:05:02Speaker 5: so that you can make money off of what I watch.
- 1:05:04Speaker 5: And you can target me with more ads. So that
- 1:05:08Speaker 5: has been going on forever. That is nothing new. But
- 1:05:11Speaker 5: out of millions of TVs that these companies sell, maybe
- 1:05:14Speaker 5: a percent of people turn those off So I always
- 1:05:17Speaker 5: go in, turn them off, get rid of it.
- 1:05:19Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 1:05:19Speaker 4: See, it's like the problem. Like, I don't mind if
- 1:05:22Speaker 4: you want to pitch me something, I might be interested.
- 1:05:23Speaker 4: I don't have a problem with that. It's just the
- 1:05:25Speaker 4: knowledge that it's recording or keeping track of every conversation.
- 1:05:29Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:05:30Speaker 4: So you're having these private conversations in your own home,
- 1:05:32Speaker 4: you know, and it could be sensitive information, whether it's
- 1:05:35Speaker 4: a social security number or something else. It's not, you know,
- 1:05:38Speaker 4: public information. And now it's like your TV, your remote,
- 1:05:41Speaker 4: because I was mentioning to Greg, you know, the, uh,
- 1:05:44Speaker 4: The voice activated. The one article I was reading about
- 1:05:47Speaker 4: this is like, these companies didn't put the feature on
- 1:05:51Speaker 4: your remote control to use voice-activated, you know, play HDTV.
- 1:05:55Speaker 4: It wasn't so it would be convenient for you. So
- 1:05:57Speaker 4: there's a microphone closer to the user.
- 1:05:59Speaker 7: God, that sucks.
- 1:06:00Speaker 3: Right, it's so weird.
- 1:06:01Speaker 4: To pick up on that stuff even more clearly. So
- 1:06:05Speaker 4: we'll go to the gadget of the week.
- 1:06:07Speaker 3: What do you got for us?
- 1:06:08Speaker 5: AirPods 5. I know we talked a lot Apple, but
- 1:06:11Speaker 5: I think what they did with the AirPods 5 is
- 1:06:13Speaker 5: pretty cool because.
- 1:06:14Speaker 3: They have now added.
- 1:06:16Speaker 5: active noise cancellation to your base AirPods. So for $ 129,
- 1:06:19Speaker 5: and by the way, these things always go on sale
- 1:06:23Speaker 5: throughout the holidays. So keep an eye out on that.
- 1:06:25Speaker 5: These are the standard AirPods with the open ear design,
- 1:06:28Speaker 5: which they still sit in your ears, but there's no
- 1:06:30Speaker 5: silicone on the tip.
- 1:06:31Speaker 2: So it.
- 1:06:35Speaker 5: They now have noise cancellation built in by default. They
- 1:06:39Speaker 5: have live translation built in and $ 129 is a pretty
- 1:06:43Speaker 5: good deal. They do make another version for $ 150 that
- 1:06:48Speaker 5: gives you wireless charging inside the case, longer battery life
- 1:06:52Speaker 5: and volume adjustments on the stems. But again, for the
- 1:06:56Speaker 5: base model of AirPods to have active noise cancellation, where
- 1:07:00Speaker 5: you can now bring them on an airplane. And I
- 1:07:02Speaker 5: tested them in an airplane style kind of chamber. And
- 1:07:06Speaker 5: it really cut out the noise. I was so impressed
- 1:07:09Speaker 5: for something that is not, you know, a $ 200 device.
- 1:07:12Speaker 3: Or $ 300.
- 1:07:13Speaker 4: Do those ones that are all plastic and don't have
- 1:07:15Speaker 4: the silicone tips. They won't stay in my ears.
- 1:07:18Speaker 5: Oh, interesting. Yeah.
- 1:07:19Speaker 4: Well, I think for, you know, I think I had
- 1:07:21Speaker 4: broken ears or something.
- 1:07:22Speaker 3: They slide right out.
- 1:07:23Speaker 5: They looked at a hundred thousand pairs of ears, but
- 1:07:26Speaker 5: not yours.
- 1:07:26Speaker 1: Not ours.
- 1:07:27Speaker 3: Not Greg's and not Josh. No, no. The ones that
- 1:07:30Speaker 3: I have that you gave me, Woody, have a rubber
- 1:07:31Speaker 3: tip and they, Stick great. Are those great? They're awesome.
- 1:07:34Speaker 3: I love those. Which Sammy thought was disgusting.
- 1:07:36Speaker 7: That's so gross.
- 1:07:38Speaker 3: They're dirty from someone else's ears. You're implying his ears
- 1:07:41Speaker 3: are filthy. Come on.
- 1:07:42Speaker 5: Yeah, wearing other earbuds from someone else. At Apple, they
- 1:07:45Speaker 5: have like a hundred pairs of them for you to
- 1:07:47Speaker 5: like test. And they have someone that's constantly running them
- 1:07:50Speaker 5: to the back to like clean them out fully. I mean,
- 1:07:52Speaker 5: it's quite the operation because nobody wants to, like, just
- 1:07:54Speaker 5: throw in a pair of earbuds to someone else.
- 1:07:56Speaker 3: Woody and I have done far worse than share the earphone. Yes, exactly.
- 1:08:01Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:08:01Speaker 4: Well, Rich DeMuro, Rich on Tech, everybody.
- 1:08:04Speaker 3: Thanks for that.
- 1:08:05Speaker 4: Check out the Rich on Tech radio show. Again, on
- 1:08:07Speaker 4: a number of radio stations throughout the country, but also
- 1:08:09Speaker 4: the podcast. You can catch a podcast version of the
- 1:08:12Speaker 4: show available wherever you get your favorite podcast. He's mentioned
- 1:08:15Speaker 4: a few times. Rich's free newsletter, richontech.tv.
- 1:08:19Speaker 2: Sorry.
- 1:08:22Speaker 4: And then also everything we talked about on the show,
- 1:08:25Speaker 4: all these things are always linked on his website, rich
- 1:08:27Speaker 4: on tech dot TV and follow him on social media
- 1:08:30Speaker 4: at rich on tech.
- 1:08:31Speaker 3: Rich Demure, everybody.
- 1:08:34Speaker 5: Thank you.
- 1:08:35Speaker 8: Thank you.
- 1:08:35Speaker 5: Thank you.
- 1:08:36Speaker 3: Thank you. As always, man. All right. What he shows next.
- 1:08:39Speaker 3: Hang on. It doesn't sound or look appealing at all.
- 1:08:45Speaker 6: It's just like you've got to pretend that they're actually entertaining.
- 1:08:47Speaker 3: Yeah. And I don't like pretending. It is exhausting. The
- 1:08:51Speaker 3: Woody Show.
- 1:08:56Speaker 4: Well, shout out to Ryan Clark.
- 1:08:57Speaker 3: He's got. a new thing.
- 1:09:01Speaker 4: So Ryan Clark got let go from ESPN. Remember they
- 1:09:03Speaker 4: fired him like right in the middle of the show?
- 1:09:04Speaker 7: Oh, yeah. I forgot about that.
- 1:09:06Speaker 3: They let him go.
- 1:09:07Speaker 4: And I thought he did a great job. And it's
- 1:09:09Speaker 4: not because he's a former Steeler. I'm not like just
- 1:09:11Speaker 4: taking up for him.
- 1:09:11Speaker 3: I thought he... You thought he was good, right, Jeff?
- 1:09:14Speaker 3: I liked him, man. I thought he really dug into
- 1:09:16Speaker 3: the film, which I appreciate. And anyway, so he.
- 1:09:21Speaker 4: Has been kind of like off the radar for a minute.
- 1:09:24Speaker 4: And now he's back. He started his own thing. It's
- 1:09:27Speaker 4: like the pivot something sports.
- 1:09:30Speaker 3: Yeah, it's got a really nice studio.
- 1:09:31Speaker 13: He's bringing in a lot of the other people from
- 1:09:34Speaker 13: ESPN that got clipped as well. So, you know, he's
- 1:09:37Speaker 13: keeping it, you know, kind of family centric.
- 1:09:39Speaker 4: He didn't just go with some half-assed thing where they
- 1:09:42Speaker 4: green screen a background and stuff like that. Dude, this
- 1:09:44Speaker 4: guy built a legit, it looks like ESPN, NFL Network.
- 1:09:48Speaker 4: It looks like that type of set. It looks awesome.
- 1:09:52Speaker 4: I was reading an article about it, and they're saying
- 1:09:54Speaker 4: that this is going to bring in, for him, about
- 1:09:56Speaker 4: $ 10 million.
- 1:09:57Speaker 3: Damn. How come they just know that?
- 1:10:00Speaker 4: Because they know, because already the numbers that already did
- 1:10:03Speaker 4: out the gate, And the fact that he is well-known, well-liked,
- 1:10:07Speaker 4: well-respected in this arena, they say based on all these other,
- 1:10:12Speaker 4: compared to the other ones that are out there and
- 1:10:14Speaker 4: what they're doing, the kind of business they're doing, they're
- 1:10:16Speaker 4: estimating he's going to be bringing in like $ 10 million.
- 1:10:18Speaker 3: I think pull it off. $ 10 million plus.
- 1:10:21Speaker 2: Pull it off.
- 1:10:21Speaker 4: He's already done it.
- 1:10:22Speaker 6: Well, you can put out the content, but you've got
- 1:10:24Speaker 6: to get it sponsored. But if he does get it sponsored,
- 1:10:26Speaker 6: he gets a majority of the sponsorship money.
- 1:10:29Speaker 3: So that's massive. It's his thing.
- 1:10:31Speaker 9: My only question is how many of these, hey, I'm
- 1:10:33Speaker 9: doing my own thing, will or work until we have just,
- 1:10:37Speaker 9: I've got too many options.
- 1:10:38Speaker 4: Well, I think he'll work because again, people really liked
- 1:10:41Speaker 4: him well-respected. He's got good insight. And he was one
- 1:10:45Speaker 4: of those guys who would give you a real opinion.
- 1:10:47Speaker 3: He was giving you like, he wasn't just towing a line.
- 1:10:51Speaker 4: He was saying what, how he wanted, he would give
- 1:10:54Speaker 4: you the answers that the fans would want and not
- 1:10:57Speaker 4: just kind of dance around, you know, those guys that
- 1:10:58Speaker 4: dance around that stuff.
- 1:11:00Speaker 3: Or sensationalize it, too.
- 1:11:02Speaker 13: He's the complete opposite of a podcast or Stephen A.
- 1:11:07Speaker 13: or Shannon Sharp. It's very well put together. It's kind
- 1:11:10Speaker 13: of for the sports intellectuals, I would say. But it's
- 1:11:13Speaker 13: going to be good, man. I wish him well.
- 1:11:14Speaker 4: So that's great for him, man. Shout out to Ryan Clark. Dude,
- 1:11:18Speaker 4: Joe Buck just got a new deal.
- 1:11:19Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 1:11:20Speaker 3: Speaking of ESPN. With a hair blood company? Yeah.
- 1:11:24Speaker 4: Joe Buck just got a new six-year, $ 108 million contract.
- 1:11:27Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:11:29Speaker 3: That's okay.
- 1:11:30Speaker 4: So, Greg, I did the math on it for you.
- 1:11:32Speaker 4: I know how much you love doing this. And then
- 1:11:33Speaker 4: we'll get the NFL biggest loser picks.
- 1:11:36Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:11:37Speaker 3: Who's it going to be, Jeff? Is it going to
- 1:11:38Speaker 3: be Sammy and Menace? Sammy versus Menace. Yeah.
- 1:11:41Speaker 4: We all made our biggest loser pick for the season,
- 1:11:43Speaker 4: like which team is going to have the worst record
- 1:11:46Speaker 4: of the entire year. This is going to be a
- 1:11:48Speaker 4: week by week. We'll put two people up against each other.
- 1:11:51Speaker 4: They got to pick which team is going to lose
- 1:11:54Speaker 4: by the widest margin. So who gets their ass kicked
- 1:11:58Speaker 4: the biggest in any given week?
- 1:12:00Speaker 3: A crushing.
- 1:12:02Speaker 4: So I did the math on Joe Buck's new deal.
- 1:12:06Speaker 4: And then we'll get to your picks. I'll give you
- 1:12:07Speaker 4: guys a second to figure out who you're going to
- 1:12:08Speaker 4: go with. I know you're putting a lot of analysis.
- 1:12:10Speaker 3: Run the numbers. It's like you're Ryan Clark. So six years,
- 1:12:12Speaker 3: $ 108 million, $ 18 million a year. Pretty good. That is
- 1:12:14Speaker 3: gross money. $ 750, 000.
- 1:12:26Speaker 4: Per check. If you're getting paid twice a month.
- 1:12:28Speaker 3: Per check?
- 1:12:30Speaker 4: Yeah, if you get paid twice a month, it's $ 750, 000
- 1:12:34Speaker 4: a check before taxes.
- 1:12:36Speaker 7: How are you going to live?
- 1:12:37Speaker 3: So it's like $ 9.
- 1:12:38Speaker 4: So after taxes, so imagine you're Joe Buck and you
- 1:12:42Speaker 4: are like Greg and you open up your bank account
- 1:12:44Speaker 4: on payday.
- 1:12:45Speaker 3: On the daily.
- 1:12:46Speaker 4: And you see, oh, I got paid today. The number
- 1:12:49Speaker 4: you'd be staring at. Now, this is assuming he's like W2.
- 1:12:53Speaker 3: Right. And he gets the standard deduction. He lives in St.
- 1:12:56Speaker 3: Louis County.
- 1:12:57Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:12:57Speaker 4: So like based on those, that's how I broke it out.
- 1:13:00Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:13:00Speaker 4: So based on just that kind of math, each check
- 1:13:05Speaker 4: twice a month, he gets this check.
- 1:13:06Speaker 14: $ 421, 000.
- 1:13:06Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:13:10Speaker 3: Per check.
- 1:13:10Speaker 7: Can you imagine the heart attack you'd have?
- 1:13:12Speaker 3: Yeah. I'd be content with that. So $ 329, 000 comes out
- 1:13:17Speaker 3: of each check for taxes.
- 1:13:19Speaker 5: $ 329, 000.
- 1:13:19Speaker 3: It's still painful, though. Well, yeah. It's still very painful.
- 1:13:25Speaker 3: That's the kind of money where you're like, okay, could
- 1:13:27Speaker 3: I live in the Bahamas?
- 1:13:29Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:13:29Speaker 3: And just get a.
- 1:13:29Speaker 9: Because for that money... Have a daily private jet or weekly,
- 1:13:33Speaker 9: whatever it takes.
- 1:13:34Speaker 3: Yeah, Puerto Rico. Right.
- 1:13:36Speaker 4: Yeah, just go to whatever game you're supposed to be
- 1:13:37Speaker 4: calling that week.
- 1:13:38Speaker 6: Mm-hmm.
- 1:13:39Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:13:39Speaker 2: Hi, bye.
- 1:13:39Speaker 3: Good God.
- 1:13:40Speaker 4: Oh, but they have a... What is that schedule? I mean, Jeff,
- 1:13:43Speaker 4: you might know more.
- 1:13:45Speaker 3: How early do they get to these cities?
- 1:13:46Speaker 4: You're a play-by-play guy, and I know they say they
- 1:13:49Speaker 4: go in, well, we met this week with the players
- 1:13:52Speaker 4: and the coaches and stuff like that.
- 1:13:54Speaker 3: At what point? Say the game's on Sunday. What day
- 1:13:57Speaker 3: do they go in? From what I've heard, it's at
- 1:13:59Speaker 3: least Thursday. Some will be earlier, but at least Thursday
- 1:14:03Speaker 3: for a Sunday game.
- 1:14:05Speaker 4: Okay, so you go on Thursday. You meet with the
- 1:14:07Speaker 4: players and the coaches.
- 1:14:08Speaker 3: Do some interviews. Do some interviews. Over what, Thursday, Friday? Yeah,
- 1:14:11Speaker 3: you have one-on-ones, right? Then you go to a practice
- 1:14:14Speaker 3: so you can kind of gather your intel and what
- 1:14:17Speaker 3: you might want to talk about. That's what Tom Brady
- 1:14:18Speaker 3: was not allowed to do, if you recall. Oh, that's right.
- 1:14:22Speaker 3: You have to do less work, Tom. Oh, damn.
- 1:14:23Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:14:25Speaker 4: All right, so you get in Thursday. You go meet
- 1:14:27Speaker 4: with some of the players, coaches, stuff. You do a
- 1:14:29Speaker 4: little bit more of that on Friday. Saturday is kind
- 1:14:31Speaker 4: of like a whatever day, right? Yeah, it could be
- 1:14:33Speaker 4: a day off and then just your writing day.
- 1:14:34Speaker 3: You need a day off. By that point, you're ready.
- 1:14:36Speaker 4: Local museums.
- 1:14:37Speaker 3: Maybe a picnic, perhaps.
- 1:14:38Speaker 4: Yeah, you can go because they always show one of
- 1:14:40Speaker 4: the local food spots during the game.
- 1:14:42Speaker 3: Oh, here we are.
- 1:14:44Speaker 4: At the Skyline Chili place.
- 1:14:46Speaker 3: Yeah, we're outside. We're going to go watch them toss
- 1:14:48Speaker 3: a fish at Pike's Market. But that's Seattle. That Tom
- 1:14:52Speaker 3: Brady thing was totally on purpose, right?
- 1:14:54Speaker 9: That he bought a part of the Raiders so he
- 1:14:56Speaker 9: didn't have to do all this behind-the-scenes stuff for NFL teams?
- 1:14:59Speaker 4: I don't think he bought a part of the Raiders
- 1:15:01Speaker 4: just so he wouldn't have to go to a.
- 1:15:03Speaker 3: You didn't think that was thought out, though? No.
- 1:15:05Speaker 5: No.
- 1:15:05Speaker 3: He just randomly bought... I think the better part is
- 1:15:08Speaker 3: being part owner of an NFL team. I get it.
- 1:15:11Speaker 3: The benefit of that is like, oh, yeah, but.
- 1:15:12Speaker 6: He's getting paid an insane amount of money.
- 1:15:15Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:15:15Speaker 4: That's millions.
- 1:15:17Speaker 3: That's like six hours.
- 1:15:17Speaker 6: But you just think he accidentally found out that... oh,
- 1:15:21Speaker 6: I don't have to do these extra things.
- 1:15:22Speaker 4: I don't think it had anything to do with the
- 1:15:24Speaker 4: reason why he bought into the Raiders is my point.
- 1:15:26Speaker 9: We're talking about like four hours off a week for
- 1:15:29Speaker 9: the 17 weeks he actually works.
- 1:15:31Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:15:32Speaker 3: Or, you know. the price of having a Raiders. No,
- 1:15:34Speaker 3: he's part of things.
- 1:15:35Speaker 4: He invests in a lot of stuff. Didn't he just
- 1:15:37Speaker 4: open up some card stores or there's some card trading thing?
- 1:15:40Speaker 3: Yeah, he's part of the Fanatics Fest too, right? Isn't
- 1:15:42Speaker 3: he a part of that as well?
- 1:15:43Speaker 6: Yeah, but he opened quite a few card stores too.
- 1:15:46Speaker 3: He does all kinds of stuff. He's on podcasts all
- 1:15:48Speaker 3: the time. I mean, he is investing a lot in Vegas.
- 1:15:50Speaker 6: He has that, what, the Family Hall of Excellence or
- 1:15:54Speaker 6: something at the Fontainebleau.
- 1:15:56Speaker 3: But I think he also bought part of the Aces.
- 1:15:59Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:15:59Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:16:00Speaker 3: The female basketball team in Vegas.
- 1:16:02Speaker 5: Yep.
- 1:16:03Speaker 3: Good spend there.
- 1:16:04Speaker 4: They're all going to be great investments.
- 1:16:08Speaker 3: Well, the Aces sell out.
- 1:16:10Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:16:10Speaker 3: They're good. They got Asia Wilson. Yeah, so suck that. Yeah.
- 1:16:14Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:16:14Speaker 3: And they like that girl. Yeah, suck on that. Suck
- 1:16:18Speaker 3: on Asia. Yeah, dude.
- 1:16:21Speaker 4: Didn't he buy into Pickleball? Wasn't he one of the
- 1:16:22Speaker 4: guys who bought hardcore into Pickleball?
- 1:16:25Speaker 3: Dude, that's so over.
- 1:16:26Speaker 7: Oh, my God.
- 1:16:27Speaker 3: Pickleball. There's a big.
- 1:16:29Speaker 4: Article about how everybody built Pickleball facilities.
- 1:16:34Speaker 7: Yeah, chicken and pickle.
- 1:16:34Speaker 3: This is going to be the next big thing. Oh,
- 1:16:37Speaker 3: Olympic sport.
- 1:16:39Speaker 4: You'll see major professional pickleball.
- 1:16:42Speaker 3: Yeah, he's co-owner of Major League Pickleball.
- 1:16:45Speaker 4: So everybody bought, right? And now what they're seeing- in
- 1:16:50Speaker 4: all these cities across the country, all these pickleball facilities
- 1:16:54Speaker 4: are up for sale and they have to keep cutting prices.
- 1:16:56Speaker 7: So it's free.
- 1:16:57Speaker 3: They're not making any money.
- 1:16:59Speaker 15: Right.
- 1:16:59Speaker 3: Cause no, it's over.
- 1:17:01Speaker 7: Too many people got hurt.
- 1:17:03Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:17:03Speaker 4: And now they have these big facilities, whatever, and they
- 1:17:05Speaker 4: can't get out of them. And so they just keep
- 1:17:07Speaker 4: reducing the price, reducing the price. It's a, it's a
- 1:17:10Speaker 4: big problem.
- 1:17:10Speaker 7: Oh my God.
- 1:17:11Speaker 4: For people who are in the pickleball business.
- 1:17:13Speaker 3: I've never tried. There's nobody interested in it. No, people
- 1:17:15Speaker 3: are still playing.
- 1:17:16Speaker 4: But I love how, like, we always, we love, I
- 1:17:19Speaker 4: think as a species, we love as humans just to
- 1:17:22Speaker 4: anoint something.
- 1:17:24Speaker 3: Jumping on the bandwagon.
- 1:17:25Speaker 4: And we go, this is, and we've, it went from like, oh,
- 1:17:28Speaker 4: this is new and fun to it's, it's the new NFL.
- 1:17:32Speaker 4: This is your life.
- 1:17:33Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:17:33Speaker 4: It's the new professional soccer, whatever, World Cup.
- 1:17:36Speaker 3: Yeah, this is. This is the flavor of the week
- 1:17:39Speaker 3: and that will never change. Oh, I mean, NFTs.
- 1:17:43Speaker 9: I was walking around New York City when NFTs first
- 1:17:44Speaker 9: came out and there were billboards everywhere.
- 1:17:46Speaker 4: I was like, why do I want this piece of
- 1:17:48Speaker 4: digital art? What's wrong with waiting to see how it develops?
- 1:17:52Speaker 7: Because you want to be on the ground floor.
- 1:17:55Speaker 4: But then everybody dumps all their life savings into it.
- 1:17:59Speaker 4: We want to be the first here in Des Moines
- 1:18:03Speaker 4: to have a pickleball facility.
- 1:18:05Speaker 9: And they get money for it, too, because I've seen
- 1:18:06Speaker 9: the buildings where it's just this big, like, giant warehouse thing.
- 1:18:09Speaker 4: It's pickleball courts and all kinds of crap. And they're
- 1:18:11Speaker 4: sitting there with your dork in your hand. I'd probably
- 1:18:14Speaker 4: be way into it if it wasn't called pickleball. That's
- 1:18:18Speaker 4: another example of dumb name. Yeah, I agree.
- 1:18:20Speaker 3: That's the Mrs. Maisel of sports. The amount of injuries.
- 1:18:24Speaker 3: It's insane.
- 1:18:25Speaker 9: It is?
- 1:18:25Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:18:26Speaker 4: Oh, I thought that was the whole reason that older
- 1:18:27Speaker 4: people played it because there's not as much moving around.
- 1:18:29Speaker 7: No, they get very injured.
- 1:18:31Speaker 6: Yeah, I was meeting with the ACL doctor because of
- 1:18:35Speaker 6: spicy nacho. And yeah, he was just telling me about
- 1:18:38Speaker 6: all the pickleball stuff.
- 1:18:39Speaker 7: Yeah, my mom said her doctor's like, no pickleball for you.
- 1:18:43Speaker 7: It's all pickleball injuries.
- 1:18:45Speaker 3: All right. You guys ready to make your picks?
- 1:18:47Speaker 5: All right.
- 1:18:48Speaker 4: So again, it's the biggest loser. contest each week for
- 1:18:52Speaker 4: the NFL, NFL Week 2. So it could be any
- 1:18:55Speaker 4: of the games. And whoever at the end of Week 2,
- 1:18:57Speaker 4: after the Monday night game is done, whoever has lost
- 1:19:00Speaker 4: by the widest margin, that is the biggest loser for
- 1:19:02Speaker 4: the week. And you want to see between the two
- 1:19:05Speaker 4: who ends.
- 1:19:05Speaker 3: Up with the bigger loser.
- 1:19:07Speaker 4: Who wants to go first?
- 1:19:08Speaker 3: I'll go first. Ladies first.
- 1:19:14Speaker 4: He's got more purses and stuff than you do.
- 1:19:19Speaker 3: Yeah, for sure.
- 1:19:20Speaker 6: So I did take a look at the Falcons versus
- 1:19:22Speaker 6: the Panthers and thought that was an interesting game, but
- 1:19:26Speaker 6: I don't think it would be a huge margin if
- 1:19:29Speaker 6: the Panthers lost. I don't think the Falcons would be dominating.
- 1:19:33Speaker 3: Suck on suck.
- 1:19:34Speaker 6: So I did go with The Chiefs.
- 1:19:38Speaker 3: Over the Colts. The Chiefs over the Colts. That's not
- 1:19:40Speaker 3: a bad pick. I think that would be a way
- 1:19:42Speaker 3: bigger margin.
- 1:19:43Speaker 4: The Panthers-Falcons would have been an awful pick.
- 1:19:46Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:19:47Speaker 6: So I'm going with the Chiefs over the Colts with
- 1:19:50Speaker 6: the biggest margin.
- 1:19:51Speaker 3: All right. Chiefs over the Colts. And perhaps in case
- 1:19:54Speaker 3: of a tiebreaker, do you want to call your margin number, Menace? Yeah,
- 1:19:57Speaker 3: that's a good idea. I would say by 15. 15,
- 1:20:00Speaker 3: all right. By 15, plus 15.
- 1:20:02Speaker 2: All right, Sammy.
- 1:20:05Speaker 10: Yes.
- 1:20:06Speaker 3: What'd you pick?
- 1:20:08Speaker 7: Biggest loser of the week, I think, is going to
- 1:20:09Speaker 7: be the Broncos.
- 1:20:11Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:20:12Speaker 7: So they're playing the Jags.
- 1:20:14Speaker 14: And last week, the Broncos lost by 21 points against
- 1:20:18Speaker 14: the Chiefs.
- 1:20:18Speaker 3: Thank you.
- 1:20:19Speaker 14: And the Jags won by 24 points against the Browns.
- 1:20:24Speaker 14: So the Jags won by the most points last week.
- 1:20:28Speaker 14: The Broncos lost by a lot of points last week.
- 1:20:31Speaker 14: And they are now playing each other.
- 1:20:32Speaker 3: Okay, but your pick is the Broncos. Yes, to be
- 1:20:35Speaker 3: the biggest loser. To be the biggest loser. By how many?
- 1:20:40Speaker 4: I think it's another terrible pick.
- 1:20:42Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:20:43Speaker 3: Well, let's say 18.
- 1:20:43Speaker 5: 18.
- 1:20:43Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:20:45Speaker 5: Man.
- 1:20:46Speaker 6: I just want to say shout out to all the
- 1:20:47Speaker 6: Broncos fans who were giving me crap because I put
- 1:20:50Speaker 6: them on the board for one of the biggest losers
- 1:20:53Speaker 6: this season.
- 1:20:53Speaker 3: Well, it's just week one. Yeah. And people were blowing
- 1:20:56Speaker 3: me up in the comments.
- 1:20:57Speaker 5: Oh, dude.
- 1:20:58Speaker 3: And then they lost. It was awesome.
- 1:20:59Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:21:00Speaker 7: That was my pick.
- 1:21:00Speaker 3: Make sure to screenshot those.
- 1:21:02Speaker 7: Mm-hmm.
- 1:21:03Speaker 4: Right now, the biggest spread is the 49ers over the Dolphins, 13.5.
- 1:21:07Speaker 3: Oh, yeah, that's good. I think it's pretty much a
- 1:21:10Speaker 3: givey for the 49ers.
- 1:21:11Speaker 7: Were we allowed to look at the spread and everything?
- 1:21:13Speaker 3: No, you shouldn't.
- 1:21:13Speaker 10: Huh?
- 1:21:14Speaker 3: I didn't look at the spread or anything.
- 1:21:15Speaker 4: No, I'm just giving you what the experts are saying.
- 1:21:18Speaker 4: Now I'm telling you what the experts are saying. If
- 1:21:20Speaker 4: you're looking at all the Vegas odds or whatever, that's
- 1:21:22Speaker 4: kind of what they're at. Now, Jeff, if you were
- 1:21:24Speaker 4: to pick, let's go with somebody who really knows sports.
- 1:21:27Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:21:27Speaker 3: Just for fun. Just for fun. I would pick that
- 1:21:30Speaker 3: Niners-Dolphins game. Yeah, but— Dolphins looked really, really, really bad,
- 1:21:35Speaker 3: and the Niners looked really good, and I think they
- 1:21:37Speaker 3: have something to prove this year because all the Rams talk,
- 1:21:40Speaker 3: so I would go Niners over Dolphins.
- 1:21:41Speaker 6: As Greg and I have grown up around the Niners
- 1:21:43Speaker 6: pretty much our whole life, Niners will Niner.
- 1:21:47Speaker 3: But eventually they will.
- 1:21:49Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:21:49Speaker 6: I mean, they'll either kill it or they'll just crap
- 1:21:51Speaker 6: the bed.
- 1:21:51Speaker 3: Yeah. There's no in between, really.
- 1:21:54Speaker 4: Yeah. I thought about the Niners. That seems like a
- 1:21:57Speaker 4: pretty obvious one because the Dolphins just blow. But I
- 1:22:01Speaker 4: actually went with the Ravens. It pains me to pick
- 1:22:03Speaker 4: the Ravens for anything.
- 1:22:04Speaker 3: Of course it does.
- 1:22:05Speaker 4: But Ravens over the Saints. Although the Saints put up
- 1:22:07Speaker 4: a good fight against Detroit. I still think the Ravens
- 1:22:11Speaker 4: just blow out.
- 1:22:12Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:22:12Speaker 3: The New Orleans Saints. Another one to look at is Philly, Tennessee.
- 1:22:16Speaker 4: Oh, that's Tennessee sucks. That should be another. That should
- 1:22:19Speaker 4: be another slaughter.
- 1:22:19Speaker 5: All right.
- 1:22:20Speaker 3: We'll see how it goes.
- 1:22:20Speaker 4: So Sammy's pick was the Broncos as the biggest loser.
- 1:22:25Speaker 4: Menace picked the Colts as the biggest loser by 15.
- 1:22:30Speaker 4: Sammy said by 18. So we'll see come Monday. Well,
- 1:22:35Speaker 4: I guess they're all.
- 1:22:36Speaker 3: When's the game? Sunday? Who's the Monday night game? Monday
- 1:22:39Speaker 3: night is Giants-Rams.
- 1:22:40Speaker 4: Okay, so we'll know by Monday morning.
- 1:22:42Speaker 3: The Woody Show. The Woody Show. Pledge month. I didn't
- 1:22:51Speaker 3: go to college.
- 1:22:53Speaker 4: And I can promise you, had I gone to college,
- 1:22:58Speaker 4: I would have no interest in any kind of, like, frat.
- 1:23:01Speaker 3: Hell no. I've always thought it's not your jam.
- 1:23:04Speaker 5: No.
- 1:23:06Speaker 3: The parties were cool.
- 1:23:07Speaker 4: It just seems like the whole pledge process or whatever
- 1:23:11Speaker 4: they do, that rush process, it's just like this begging
- 1:23:14Speaker 4: for acceptance.
- 1:23:17Speaker 7: Yeah, you're thirsty, but also my whole thing was I'm
- 1:23:20Speaker 7: going to college for my first taste of freedom. Why
- 1:23:22Speaker 7: do I want to be locked down at a sorority house?
- 1:23:25Speaker 3: I don't know. I wouldn't feel like I'd be locked down.
- 1:23:27Speaker 7: Oh, for the girls you are.
- 1:23:28Speaker 5: Are you really?
- 1:23:29Speaker 7: I mean, you have a curfew and you have to
- 1:23:30Speaker 7: go to parties together and leave together.
- 1:23:33Speaker 3: It's very goody-goody with sororities.
- 1:23:35Speaker 4: Yeah, the whole fraternity-sorority thing just seemed like nonstop party.
- 1:23:40Speaker 4: That part would be fun, but can't you go to
- 1:23:42Speaker 4: parties and stuff without, I don't know, doing the elephant
- 1:23:46Speaker 4: walk to get into some fraternity?
- 1:23:48Speaker 3: Doing nude challenges.
- 1:23:50Speaker 6: Yeah, if the frat was cool, they would let you
- 1:23:53Speaker 6: into the party, but I think that would be kind
- 1:23:54Speaker 6: of rare. But shout out to.
- 1:23:55Speaker 3: Sigma Nu who let me in. In San Diego.
- 1:23:58Speaker 5: Oh, nice.
- 1:23:58Speaker 3: I had a good time. Shout out to them.
- 1:24:00Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:24:00Speaker 4: I mean, it's decades ago, but shout out to them.
- 1:24:03Speaker 4: They're probably still there.
- 1:24:04Speaker 3: I think they got in trouble, actually. All my friends
- 1:24:07Speaker 3: who were in frats said, oh, it's perfect for networking
- 1:24:10Speaker 3: in the future. Okay. So you're going to be 45
- 1:24:13Speaker 3: years old and you're going to be calling your Kappa
- 1:24:15Speaker 3: Kappa Gamma, bro. I doubt it. No, dude. I know
- 1:24:18Speaker 3: that does happen. They're pretty tight.
- 1:24:19Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:24:20Speaker 4: Like if they see it on a resume, like they'll
- 1:24:22Speaker 4: put it on a resume just in case the person
- 1:24:24Speaker 4: who's doing the hiring or the screening or whatever.
- 1:24:26Speaker 3: You were Omega Moo? Cool. That's what it's all about.
- 1:24:29Speaker 10: Try lambs. Yeah.
- 1:24:31Speaker 3: Let me see your penis. It's not gay. It's part
- 1:24:33Speaker 3: of the interview process. You got to hook up your brothers, man. Yeah, totally.
- 1:24:37Speaker 4: Anyway, so for pledge month, we did, you know, glory
- 1:24:40Speaker 4: hole challenge. Now it's the return of the menace. No
- 1:24:43Speaker 4: hands challenge. Menace is going to see if he can
- 1:24:46Speaker 4: eat what Greg is feeding him. Only using Greg's feet.
- 1:24:50Speaker 4: Greg's not using his hands at all. Menace is blindfolded,
- 1:24:53Speaker 4: and he's going to be picking up these items. Now,
- 1:24:56Speaker 4: these are all like football-watching snacks.
- 1:24:58Speaker 3: Yeah, the spread is delicious. Tailgate. We got chicken wings,
- 1:25:01Speaker 3: which are going to be served cold. I got to
- 1:25:04Speaker 3: put them in between my toes. I can't have them
- 1:25:06Speaker 3: too hot. We have a hearty-sized bag of ruffles, and
- 1:25:10Speaker 3: we have two different dips, but both, I believe, are
- 1:25:14Speaker 3: French onion. No, one's ranch. Oh, one's ranch?
- 1:25:17Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 1:25:17Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:25:18Speaker 3: Ranch is for the wings, dude. I stand corrected. And
- 1:25:19Speaker 3: then we have... Oh, so you got to dip the
- 1:25:22Speaker 3: wing in the ranch, right? Oh, okay. Oh, do you
- 1:25:24Speaker 3: want it dipped? Yeah, of course. And then we have
- 1:25:27Speaker 3: something that actually looks highly unappealing, those little cocktail wieners.
- 1:25:31Speaker 3: Those look disgusting. Menace does love those, though.
- 1:25:32Speaker 6: I do, but it was not prepared by me, so...
- 1:25:35Speaker 6: Little smokies are what they're called.
- 1:25:37Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:25:37Speaker 3: They don't look good, especially cold. Oh, yeah, Menace, what
- 1:25:39Speaker 3: was your secret?
- 1:25:40Speaker 6: Yeah, you got to take... Cranberry sauce or something. Yeah,
- 1:25:43Speaker 6: you got to get the weenies, you got to fire
- 1:25:44Speaker 6: them up, and then you put in some, you know...
- 1:25:47Speaker 6: Just regular barbecue sauce that you would get, like a
- 1:25:50Speaker 6: store brand. And then you take some cranberry sauce and
- 1:25:54Speaker 6: you put it up in there and mix it up.
- 1:25:55Speaker 3: Super good.
- 1:25:56Speaker 4: Yeah, so you would dump it into a crock pot
- 1:25:58Speaker 4: or just even on the stove, like a pan or
- 1:26:01Speaker 4: a pot.
- 1:26:01Speaker 3: I should say. I like that. Oh, yeah.
- 1:26:04Speaker 4: That's where the clip came from. He was showing us
- 1:26:05Speaker 4: how to make those. That's the sizzle. And he had
- 1:26:07Speaker 4: the heat on too high, so when he dropped the
- 1:26:09Speaker 4: cocktail when he was in there, it just started like.
- 1:26:11Speaker 3: Sizzling. He's like, oh, yeah. I like that. So good.
- 1:26:15Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:26:16Speaker 4: That's where the clip came from.
- 1:26:18Speaker 3: Oh, yeah. Listen, that's the cocktail.
- 1:26:19Speaker 4: I like that.
- 1:26:20Speaker 3: That's the sizzle. Okay, Menace, you're going to have to
- 1:26:23Speaker 3: lean way forward. Come on, Noah. I need you to,
- 1:26:26Speaker 3: you know. Oh, that's right. This is my challenge. I
- 1:26:29Speaker 3: want it. I need it. Okay. Do we want to
- 1:26:33Speaker 3: start with the wing?
- 1:26:33Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:26:34Speaker 4: All right.
- 1:26:35Speaker 3: So we'll start. I think that should be the easiest, right?
- 1:26:37Speaker 3: Start with the chicken wing. All right. And you want
- 1:26:39Speaker 3: it dipped in ranch?
- 1:26:40Speaker 14: Uh-oh.
- 1:26:40Speaker 3: Uh-oh. It's a Stanley down.
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: It's fine.
- 1:26:42Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:26:42Speaker 1: All right.
- 1:26:46Speaker 10: Okay.
- 1:26:46Speaker 5: Oh, yeah.
- 1:26:47Speaker 3: Gina, have you seen my feet? Are they okay? Uh-oh.
- 1:26:50Speaker 4: Oh, you know what?
- 1:26:51Speaker 7: They look presentable.
- 1:26:52Speaker 3: I didn't do any preparation.
- 1:26:53Speaker 7: No, no, no, no. They look nice.
- 1:26:54Speaker 5: Oh, yeah.
- 1:26:54Speaker 7: Oh, natural.
- 1:26:55Speaker 3: Okay. And they're not hairy. All right, I'm going to
- 1:26:58Speaker 3: start with a drumstick. I'm thinking about the sauce. Oh, God.
- 1:27:03Speaker 3: My God, I haven't done this in ages.
- 1:27:04Speaker 7: Okay, get ready.
- 1:27:06Speaker 3: Give it to me. He's already freaking out. You haven't
- 1:27:09Speaker 3: done anything yet.
- 1:27:10Speaker 8: I don't know.
- 1:27:11Speaker 6: I'm just thinking about the sauce dripping on your feet.
- 1:27:13Speaker 3: Okay, here we go. It's coming up to your mouth.
- 1:27:16Speaker 6: All right.
- 1:27:17Speaker 3: Oh, there we go.
- 1:27:19Speaker 5: Wow. Oh, wow.
- 1:27:20Speaker 3: Greg, you seem to have a pretty good grip on that. Dexterity.
- 1:27:23Speaker 7: Wait, how is he going to eat that? It's on
- 1:27:24Speaker 7: the bone.
- 1:27:25Speaker 3: Luckily, it's a drumstick.
- 1:27:26Speaker 5: Oh.
- 1:27:28Speaker 7: Pull it for him.
- 1:27:30Speaker 3: It's on his nose. I can't get it back in my.
- 1:27:35Speaker 2: Toe.
- 1:27:36Speaker 4: Greg's foot is right up in his face.
- 1:27:38Speaker 3: It is so slippery. Okay, take a bite. We lost
- 1:27:41Speaker 3: a wing.
- 1:27:42Speaker 9: Oh, God.
- 1:27:48Speaker 5: Dude. What?
- 1:27:49Speaker 3: You didn't even get any foot in there.
- 1:27:50Speaker 15: It's so cold and gross.
- 1:27:52Speaker 3: Oh, God. Your face. Oh, I thought you liked cold chicken.
- 1:27:55Speaker 5: No.
- 1:27:55Speaker 4: I thought you were like cold chicken, cold pizza guy.
- 1:27:57Speaker 5: Yeah, cold chicken.
- 1:27:58Speaker 3: I'm cold pizza guy all day.
- 1:27:59Speaker 7: He's drooling so much.
- 1:28:02Speaker 3: Let's refresh him with a chip.
- 1:28:03Speaker 14: God.
- 1:28:04Speaker 4: All right, so Greg, walk us through that. Walk us
- 1:28:07Speaker 4: through what you're doing over there with your feet. Okay,
- 1:28:08Speaker 4: so I'm trying to get a chip out of a
- 1:28:10Speaker 4: huge bag.
- 1:28:11Speaker 3: Wait, isn't there maybe a towel over here somewhere? Yeah,
- 1:28:13Speaker 3: they're right there.
- 1:28:13Speaker 7: Oh my God, he won't stop drooling ranch.
- 1:28:17Speaker 3: I've had to tip the bag over just to get
- 1:28:19Speaker 3: the chips kind of near my feet.
- 1:28:22Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:28:22Speaker 3: Because I only really have one strategy, and it's to
- 1:28:24Speaker 3: get stuff between my big toe and the.
- 1:28:27Speaker 7: Yeah, but you have to be delicate so you don't
- 1:28:28Speaker 7: crack the chip.
- 1:28:29Speaker 3: Oh man, this is hard. We might be here for
- 1:28:32Speaker 3: a while. Okay, I'm just gonna you got this boo
- 1:28:34Speaker 3: take a bunch of chips out oh man that's so
- 1:28:38Speaker 3: hard you got this in my toe feed me alright
- 1:28:41Speaker 3: oh here we go here we go oh got one
- 1:28:42Speaker 3: got one I'm gonna dip it in the french onion
- 1:28:44Speaker 3: dip this time around.
- 1:28:44Speaker 4: Yeah alright we'll see.
- 1:28:47Speaker 3: Alright now I gotta twist my legs somehow here we
- 1:28:49Speaker 3: go man it's coming.
- 1:28:52Speaker 6: Here comes the plate there you go oh yeah I
- 1:28:54Speaker 6: like that okay that was good oh yeah oh thank you.
- 1:28:59Speaker 3: Okay good Let's do a cocktail weenie.
- 1:29:02Speaker 7: Oh, the best part. Dip it.
- 1:29:05Speaker 3: These are not only room temperature, they're legit cold.
- 1:29:08Speaker 2: Oh, God.
- 1:29:09Speaker 3: And they are slippery AF. God, I can't get this
- 1:29:13Speaker 3: on my foot.
- 1:29:14Speaker 8: You need me.
- 1:29:15Speaker 3: Put it in my mouth. Okay. All right, I got it.
- 1:29:18Speaker 7: Get a good one.
- 1:29:18Speaker 3: All right, here we go. Oh, the core strength. The
- 1:29:21Speaker 3: core strength. Ready?
- 1:29:23Speaker 1: Okay.
- 1:29:23Speaker 5: Okay.
- 1:29:24Speaker 3: Here we go.
- 1:29:24Speaker 15: That's not a weenie.
- 1:29:31Speaker 3: What is it? What are you talking about?
- 1:29:33Speaker 2: Try it again.
- 1:29:34Speaker 3: What the hell is that?
- 1:29:35Speaker 10: No.
- 1:29:36Speaker 3: Menace, it's right in your face. No, it's right there, Menace.
- 1:29:38Speaker 3: I only have so much course. Menace, it's right there.
- 1:29:40Speaker 3: How did texture do it?
- 1:29:41Speaker 4: Wait, it's right there.
- 1:29:42Speaker 2: Go ahead.
- 1:29:44Speaker 15: I don't trust you.
- 1:29:45Speaker 7: I don't trust you.
- 1:29:47Speaker 1: No!
- 1:29:48Speaker 3: That's his foot, isn't it? Well, I'm feeding you with
- 1:29:51Speaker 3: my feet. My foot is right in your face. My
- 1:29:55Speaker 3: foot is right in your face. No, something's off.
- 1:29:58Speaker 1: No!
- 1:29:59Speaker 5: What is that? What is it?
- 1:30:01Speaker 3: It's the wiener! Your wiener or the wiener? It's not
- 1:30:06Speaker 3: his wiener. That is not the wiener's, dude. I know wiener's.
- 1:30:10Speaker 3: That's not the wiener's. What is it? Stop playing. Menace,
- 1:30:13Speaker 3: my foot is up as high as it can go,
- 1:30:16Speaker 3: and I can only hold on for so long. His
- 1:30:18Speaker 3: abs are not that strong. That's not wiener's! What is it?
- 1:30:23Speaker 3: It's touched his lips. Maybe put the wiener in the ranch.
- 1:30:29Speaker 3: Maybe with the ranch. You made me drop it. That's
- 1:30:32Speaker 3: not the wiener, you liar. You made me drop it.
- 1:30:35Speaker 3: You're going to hell. You got it?
- 1:30:39Speaker 5: No.
- 1:30:39Speaker 9: Okay.
- 1:30:39Speaker 3: Get back in there, Greg. I gotta change my strategy.
- 1:30:43Speaker 7: He's gotta move it around now.
- 1:30:44Speaker 3: I'm gonna lay it on top of my foot. Okay.
- 1:30:51Speaker 3: This is the only way I can do it.
- 1:30:53Speaker 7: That's a good idea.
- 1:30:54Speaker 3: It's so slippery.
- 1:30:55Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:30:56Speaker 3: Okay, Menace, here we go.
- 1:30:57Speaker 4: So Greg's got the cocktail weenie on his foot.
- 1:31:02Speaker 2: Seriously, Ray?
- 1:31:03Speaker 3: On his foot. There we go.
- 1:31:04Speaker 10: Did he get it?
- 1:31:06Speaker 3: Yeah, he got it.
- 1:31:09Speaker 5: He got it.
- 1:31:10Speaker 3: Finally.
- 1:31:10Speaker 5: Jesus, man.
- 1:31:11Speaker 1: Oh, man.
- 1:31:12Speaker 3: Jesus. That was the biggest challenge in this game's history.
- 1:31:16Speaker 7: And Greg, I don't even know how you did that.
- 1:31:18Speaker 7: That was very Cirque du Soleil.
- 1:31:19Speaker 3: It's old and gross.
- 1:31:21Speaker 1: It's old.
- 1:31:22Speaker 12: Cold.
- 1:31:23Speaker 3: They were just purchased.
- 1:31:23Speaker 2: Cold, cold. Oh, oh.
- 1:31:25Speaker 3: Okay, Menace, we're going in for another chicken. No, you're lying.
- 1:31:28Speaker 3: I know when you set me up. I'm not lying, Menace.
- 1:31:31Speaker 3: You're lying. Menace, I'm doing all the work here. All
- 1:31:34Speaker 3: you have to do is enjoy the good food. Now
- 1:31:37Speaker 3: you're backing up way too far.
- 1:31:38Speaker 7: Menace, come forward a little.
- 1:31:41Speaker 3: Menace, you have to lean forward.
- 1:31:43Speaker 5: No.
- 1:31:44Speaker 7: You're nowhere near anything.
- 1:31:45Speaker 5: I don't want it.
- 1:31:46Speaker 3: I promise you.
- 1:31:47Speaker 6: I have a chicken.
- 1:31:48Speaker 3: I promise you he's got something on his foot. I
- 1:31:50Speaker 3: know he has something, but not a chicken.
- 1:31:54Speaker 7: A chicken.
- 1:31:57Speaker 5: Why is it right there? Oh, yeah.
- 1:32:00Speaker 2: No.
- 1:32:00Speaker 4: I like that.
- 1:32:01Speaker 3: No, I will not be forced to do this. Scoot forward.
- 1:32:04Speaker 1: Oh, my God.
- 1:32:05Speaker 7: Now he got up.
- 1:32:06Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:32:06Speaker 3: Now you made me drop it again.
- 1:32:08Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:32:08Speaker 3: What the hell is it?
- 1:32:10Speaker 10: Chicken.
- 1:32:11Speaker 8: No.
- 1:32:12Speaker 7: Oh, my God.
- 1:32:13Speaker 3: Menace.
- 1:32:13Speaker 4: I'm looking at it. Greg is feeding Menace only using
- 1:32:17Speaker 4: his bare feet.
- 1:32:19Speaker 1: Menace.
- 1:32:19Speaker 3: No utensils.
- 1:32:20Speaker 4: Menace has a blindfold on.
- 1:32:23Speaker 3: These chickens didn't die in vain. There we go. Now
- 1:32:25Speaker 3: Menace's got his. Okay. Now do you need me to
- 1:32:29Speaker 3: pull it out with my foot?
- 1:32:30Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:32:30Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:32:31Speaker 7: These are on the bone.
- 1:32:32Speaker 3: I need you to lean forward.
- 1:32:34Speaker 4: Greg is dying.
- 1:32:36Speaker 3: I'm holding my leg up with my arm. Oh my God.
- 1:32:38Speaker 4: These like ranch soak wings are just like getting dragged
- 1:32:41Speaker 4: across the microphone.
- 1:32:43Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:32:43Speaker 3: You're going to need a new one. I can't grip it.
- 1:32:52Speaker 6: That's not a chicken.
- 1:32:54Speaker 3: That was a chicken wing. That was a chicken drumstick.
- 1:32:58Speaker 3: Why are you shoving it in my face then? Because
- 1:33:01Speaker 3: you told me to help you. Backing around. Backing away.
- 1:33:05Speaker 3: There you go. I think you did a great job.
- 1:33:08Speaker 3: The chips and the wieners are borderline impossible. These are
- 1:33:11Speaker 3: all things that Menace loves.
- 1:33:13Speaker 4: Yeah, somebody said, my boss just came by my welding booth,
- 1:33:16Speaker 4: and he thought I was listening to porn.
- 1:33:18Speaker 3: Menace, do you want to finish with the chip? It's
- 1:33:20Speaker 3: right here. It's right here. Lean forward. Lean forward. Go, go, go, go, go, go, go.
- 1:33:24Speaker 8: Lean forward.
- 1:33:24Speaker 3: Lean forward. It's right there. It's right there. There you go.
- 1:33:28Speaker 3: Good boy. Good job. He did it. All right, there
- 1:33:31Speaker 3: you go. Oh, my God. There's the Menace No Hands Challenge, everybody.
- 1:33:35Speaker 3: How challenging for him.
- 1:33:36Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:33:36Speaker 4: Yeah, but think about how strong your abs are.
- 1:33:40Speaker 3: That's true. I'm ripped. That's right. All right.
- 1:33:48Speaker 4: Greg didn't even touch one of the chicken wings, but
- 1:33:51Speaker 4: yet his hands smell like chicken.
- 1:33:53Speaker 3: They reek like chicken wings. That's weird. Zero sense. Are
- 1:33:55Speaker 3: you sure it's not smelling? Your space over there? Aroma?
- 1:33:59Speaker 4: Is it on your hands or is it just kind
- 1:34:01Speaker 4: of in that area over there by the studio on
- 1:34:04Speaker 4: your side?
- 1:34:04Speaker 3: It's on my actual finger.
- 1:34:06Speaker 2: Oh, weird.
- 1:34:06Speaker 3: I don't get it. I mean, there is juices everywhere.
- 1:34:09Speaker 3: Especially your face.
- 1:34:11Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:34:12Speaker 3: Football foods, you know, tailgate foods.
- 1:34:14Speaker 4: I've had my feet.
- 1:34:16Speaker 3: And Menace's mouth and face many, many times. But today,
- 1:34:19Speaker 3: for some reason, you were just... Freaking out. Well, I
- 1:34:22Speaker 3: think it was like the cold food. What has happened?
- 1:34:25Speaker 3: With the stinky sauces.
- 1:34:27Speaker 5: Oh.
- 1:34:28Speaker 3: It just threw me off.
- 1:34:29Speaker 9: Ranch?
- 1:34:30Speaker 3: I still love you. Well, I mean, we're closer than ever.
- 1:34:33Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:34:34Speaker 3: Yeah, ranch doesn't stink. I don't know.
- 1:34:36Speaker 6: That was that Lay's ranch in a glass case.
- 1:34:40Speaker 4: Oh, was that like a- It was kind of funky.
- 1:34:42Speaker 3: It was like a French onion or something? One of
- 1:34:43Speaker 3: them was an onion. Yeah, one of them was a
- 1:34:45Speaker 3: French onion dip.
- 1:34:46Speaker 5: Oh, okay.
- 1:34:46Speaker 3: And the other one was like a ranch in a jar. Yeah,
- 1:34:49Speaker 3: that'll be more funky.
- 1:34:50Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:34:51Speaker 3: And I got to say, the cocktail wieners, more challenging
- 1:34:54Speaker 3: than spaghetti even. Whoa. Because spaghetti, you can just kind
- 1:34:57Speaker 3: of grip.
- 1:34:57Speaker 7: Yeah, kind of grip a needle.
- 1:34:58Speaker 4: You know what they sell in the grocery store? I
- 1:34:59Speaker 4: saw it at Ralph's the other day. They sell the
- 1:35:01Speaker 4: Papa John's garlic sauce by itself.
- 1:35:03Speaker 7: Oh, really?
- 1:35:04Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 1:35:05Speaker 2: Yum.
- 1:35:05Speaker 3: Get you some.
- 1:35:06Speaker 6: But great with the weenies, you got to practice with.
- 1:35:08Speaker 3: Your feet, you know? Yeah, you really do. Should have
- 1:35:11Speaker 3: done that last night. There it is.
- 1:35:12Speaker 4: It's right next to the spray version of the I
- 1:35:15Speaker 4: Can't Believe It's Not Butter.
- 1:35:16Speaker 3: Oh, God. It comes in the little, like.
- 1:35:18Speaker 7: That is shelf-stable AF.
- 1:35:20Speaker 4: 877-44-WOODY is the phone number, and you guys, it's time.
- 1:35:24Speaker 4: It's the Woody Show, and now it's time.
- 1:35:26Speaker 3: For Wheel of Gift Cards. Wheel of Gift Cards.
- 1:35:34Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:35:36Speaker 4: So Monday, Tim in Anaheim, he chose Costco. It landed
- 1:35:40Speaker 4: on $ 400. Yesterday, it was Christy in Alhambra. Sam's Club
- 1:35:48Speaker 4: is what she went with. And Joe Coy was here.
- 1:35:51Speaker 4: He spun the wheel. It landed on $ 600. What will
- 1:35:55Speaker 4: it be today? Now, there's spaces on the wheel anywhere
- 1:35:58Speaker 4: from $ 300 all the way up to $ 1, 000. And you
- 1:36:02Speaker 4: get to pick the gift card. 877-44-WOODY. And caller number
- 1:36:06Speaker 4: 98 is in Boyle Heights. And that would be Hilda.
- 1:36:09Speaker 4: Say hi to Hilda.
- 1:36:10Speaker 7: Hi, Hilda.
- 1:36:12Speaker 11: Good morning.
- 1:36:13Speaker 3: Good morning, Hilda. All right. So you get to choose
- 1:36:17Speaker 3: any gift card you want other than no cash card.
- 1:36:19Speaker 4: So no, like, Amex or Visa gift card. No Amazon
- 1:36:22Speaker 4: gift card. But anything else that you want, we'll get
- 1:36:25Speaker 4: you a gift card for that place. And we'll find
- 1:36:27Speaker 4: out how much is going to be worth. So what
- 1:36:28Speaker 4: gift card do you want?
- 1:36:30Speaker 3: We're going with Sam's Club. Okay. Okay, so Costco and
- 1:36:34Speaker 3: Sam's Club. I'm telling you, Sam's Club's lit, man.
- 1:36:38Speaker 6: The food court is far superior over Costco all day.
- 1:36:42Speaker 3: Yeah, 100%. You disagree with that, Jeff? I would disagree, man.
- 1:36:46Speaker 6: How?
- 1:36:46Speaker 3: The pizza's better, better toppings. Chocolate chip cookies. They got
- 1:36:50Speaker 3: churros at some of the Costco's. No, they're out. Yeah. No, man.
- 1:36:56Speaker 3: Sam's Club all day.
- 1:36:57Speaker 2: No.
- 1:36:57Speaker 9: No.
- 1:36:58Speaker 3: The listeners will agree with me. No, I'm not lit.
- 1:37:01Speaker 3: They'll agree with me.
- 1:37:02Speaker 4: I don't ever go to Sam's Club, so I don't know.
- 1:37:04Speaker 3: And I love both. Don't get me wrong. But Sam's
- 1:37:06Speaker 3: Club all day.
- 1:37:06Speaker 4: All right, well, Hilda, you got yourself a Sam's Club
- 1:37:09Speaker 4: gift card. We're going to find out how much it's
- 1:37:11Speaker 4: going to be worth. Anywhere from $ 300 to $ 1, 000 is
- 1:37:13Speaker 4: on the wheel.
- 1:37:14Speaker 3: Your choice is to spin on your behalf. Woody, Gina, Greg,
- 1:37:17Speaker 3: or Menace. Let's go, Woody.
- 1:37:20Speaker 11: All right, big money.
- 1:37:21Speaker 3: All right, here we go. Okay. Big money, big money.
- 1:37:25Speaker 3: Make it good.
- 1:37:26Speaker 11: Big money.
- 1:37:29Speaker 7: That's a healthy spin.
- 1:37:29Speaker 3: Today might be the day. All right, rolling around. Where
- 1:37:35Speaker 3: will it stop? There is one spin again spot.
- 1:37:38Speaker 4: On the wheel.
- 1:37:39Speaker 8: It's going, it's going.
- 1:37:40Speaker 7: All right, all right, all right.
- 1:37:42Speaker 3: Okay. Go, go, go, go, go, go. Oh, so good.
- 1:37:49Speaker 4: Either way, $ 300.
- 1:37:51Speaker 5: $ 300.
- 1:37:51Speaker 3: All right.
- 1:37:52Speaker 6: Don't go far.
- 1:37:54Speaker 3: I'll take it for sure.
- 1:37:55Speaker 7: That was crazy.
- 1:37:56Speaker 3: $ 300 is great. Yes, it is. Thank you. But when
- 1:38:01Speaker 3: you know there's $ 1, 000 on the wheel, it feels less.
- 1:38:02Speaker 3: Just pretend it went from $ 25.
- 1:38:03Speaker 5: To $ 300. Yeah.
- 1:38:04Speaker 3: Hilda, $ 300 Sam's Club gift card. The Woody Show.
- 1:38:14Speaker 4: Well, since we just had a little food for menace,
- 1:38:16Speaker 4: I mean, I've never heard you complain so much about food.
- 1:38:18Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:38:19Speaker 3: And having to eat. Wow, geez. The preparation.
- 1:38:22Speaker 5: Sorry.
- 1:38:22Speaker 3: For having to eat chicken wings and chips. Delicious dip.
- 1:38:25Speaker 3: What do you think everybody loves? Oh, you love weenies.
- 1:38:27Speaker 3: What a nightmare. I just turned on my car and
- 1:38:31Speaker 3: all I heard was, I know weenies. I know weenies.
- 1:38:34Speaker 3: That's not a wiener.
- 1:38:36Speaker 6: That's not a wiener.
- 1:38:37Speaker 4: Just tuning in, we had the Menace No Hands Challenge. Yes,
- 1:38:39Speaker 4: there will be a video. It will be posted a
- 1:38:41Speaker 4: little bit later as soon as Vaughn's done doing all
- 1:38:44Speaker 4: the magic on that.
- 1:38:45Speaker 3: I can feel like the thumbprint. The thumb print. So
- 1:38:49Speaker 3: meaning the toenail? No, no, no.
- 1:38:51Speaker 7: Where your thumb print would be.
- 1:38:55Speaker 3: Under your toe, yeah. Is that defined? Yeah, it was
- 1:38:57Speaker 3: pretty defined.
- 1:38:58Speaker 2: Weird.
- 1:38:59Speaker 7: Is that why you were like, I don't know what
- 1:39:01Speaker 7: it is, but I know it's not a weenie.
- 1:39:02Speaker 4: I guess I never thought about this.
- 1:39:03Speaker 3: I guess you do have the thumb print of your toe.
- 1:39:07Speaker 3: Toe prints.
- 1:39:08Speaker 7: Sign in with your toe print.
- 1:39:10Speaker 3: I wonder if those are unique like fingerprints.
- 1:39:12Speaker 7: Yeah, they for sure are.
- 1:39:14Speaker 3: Are they the same as your fingerprint? Wouldn't that be weird?
- 1:39:17Speaker 3: Your thumb and your big toe would be the same?
- 1:39:19Speaker 3: I'm legitimately asking. Do they match your thumbs?
- 1:39:21Speaker 7: No, it says no. They're not the same. How could
- 1:39:24Speaker 7: they be?
- 1:39:24Speaker 14: They're not the same size.
- 1:39:25Speaker 7: Thank you.
- 1:39:26Speaker 6: They could just be like stretched out or something.
- 1:39:28Speaker 3: But would it be like, I don't know, you can
- 1:39:30Speaker 3: take like a smaller picture and make it a bigger picture.
- 1:39:32Speaker 3: You know what I mean?
- 1:39:34Speaker 4: It's the same picture. It's just a different size.
- 1:39:37Speaker 3: I don't know.
- 1:39:37Speaker 7: No, it's rounder.
- 1:39:38Speaker 3: And how do we all have different fingerprints? Do you
- 1:39:41Speaker 3: really believe that?
- 1:39:41Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:39:42Speaker 7: Did you check everybody?
- 1:39:42Speaker 2: Really?
- 1:39:43Speaker 3: Eight billion different sets of fingerprints? I'm sure somebody did.
- 1:39:45Speaker 9: I think what we should do is put, every one
- 1:39:47Speaker 9: of us take pictures of our toes. Put them up
- 1:39:49Speaker 9: on a website and have people look at them and
- 1:39:51Speaker 9: tell us about them.
- 1:39:51Speaker 7: And pay for it.
- 1:39:53Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:39:53Speaker 4: Hey, Menace, you might know. You're into fashion and you're
- 1:39:56Speaker 4: into fast food and nuggets. What's the obsession with everybody having, like,
- 1:40:01Speaker 4: chicken or nugget purses?
- 1:40:02Speaker 3: Oh, the collabs?
- 1:40:04Speaker 13: Yeah.
- 1:40:04Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:40:05Speaker 4: So Burger King just did. It's the Le Nugget.
- 1:40:11Speaker 10: Uh-huh.
- 1:40:11Speaker 4: Tiny purse designed to look like one of their chicken nuggets.
- 1:40:15Speaker 4: And it's, like, the size of about three nuggets. It's
- 1:40:17Speaker 4: got a little charm. I know how much you love charms.
- 1:40:19Speaker 3: Mm-hmm.
- 1:40:20Speaker 4: Of, like, one of their dipping sauces. And so it's, like,
- 1:40:23Speaker 4: 100 a day they're releasing... And each one comes with
- 1:40:26Speaker 4: a code for four-piece nugget. There was somebody else, though.
- 1:40:31Speaker 3: Was it Wendy's?
- 1:40:32Speaker 6: No, it was McDonald's. McDonald's kind of did this first.
- 1:40:36Speaker 6: I think it was with Balenciaga.
- 1:40:40Speaker 7: That doesn't seem like a normal thing.
- 1:40:41Speaker 2: Balenciaga?
- 1:40:41Speaker 5: Really?
- 1:40:43Speaker 6: They did? Some high-end brand.
- 1:40:45Speaker 7: Well, Walmart has those rotisserie chicken purses.
- 1:40:49Speaker 3: That's what I'm thinking of. That's the one I'm thinking of.
- 1:40:51Speaker 5: The little totes.
- 1:40:52Speaker 4: I remember hearing about those rotisserie chicken purses.
- 1:40:54Speaker 7: You get traditional or lemon pepper.
- 1:40:56Speaker 3: And now we have the Burger King chicken nugget purse.
- 1:40:58Speaker 3: Is there a landfill just for all this garbage?
- 1:41:00Speaker 1: Yes.
- 1:41:00Speaker 3: Because we have one of these a week, basically, is
- 1:41:02Speaker 3: something like this graph, like the... That people say, I quote, need.
- 1:41:05Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:41:05Speaker 3: Like the Crocs are shaped like a 7-Eleven slush. Yeah.
- 1:41:08Speaker 3: Whatever it is. Fill in the blank.
- 1:41:10Speaker 9: People want to rep their brands, dude. It's like their team.
- 1:41:13Speaker 9: But eventually, like, you buy all this crap. Like, Sammy,
- 1:41:15Speaker 9: you get a different, you know, Stanley mug because it's
- 1:41:18Speaker 9: a different color.
- 1:41:19Speaker 3: Eventually, we run out of space. And there's got to
- 1:41:21Speaker 3: be like a landfill somewhere. We're going to blame you.
- 1:41:24Speaker 7: I have four Stanley mugs.
- 1:41:26Speaker 3: I don't know. Stop blaming me. I find it weird
- 1:41:28Speaker 3: that there's such a demand.
- 1:41:30Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:41:31Speaker 3: For like a nugget purse. There isn't. The Le Nougat
- 1:41:35Speaker 3: doesn't even look like a nugget. Well, go into your like.
- 1:41:37Speaker 3: Swing and a miss, Burger King.
- 1:41:38Speaker 6: Your Old Navy and all are just like any like
- 1:41:42Speaker 6: American Eagle and all this stuff. Like all, look at
- 1:41:45Speaker 6: all the t-shirts. They're just like t-shirts with different brands
- 1:41:49Speaker 6: on them. Like from food to like cars and everything.
- 1:41:52Speaker 3: I'm going to pay you to advertise your product. Yeah.
- 1:41:54Speaker 7: Looking all vintage-y.
- 1:41:56Speaker 5: Mm-hmm.
- 1:41:57Speaker 4: Who asked for this?
- 1:41:58Speaker 3: Hooters, the movie.
- 1:41:59Speaker 7: What?
- 1:42:00Speaker 3: Yes, please. Thank you.
- 1:42:03Speaker 4: It'll tell the mostly true story of how the restaurant
- 1:42:05Speaker 4: started in Clearwater, Florida back in 1983. Two buddies from
- 1:42:08Speaker 4: Iowa went looking for a woman. One of them saw
- 1:42:10Speaker 4: in a spring break commercial. She eventually became the first
- 1:42:14Speaker 4: Hooters girl, and somehow they ended up launching a restaurant empire.
- 1:42:18Speaker 3: This sounds like an 80s sex comedy.
- 1:42:19Speaker 7: It's absolutely porny.
- 1:42:21Speaker 4: It does sound like it should be porn.
- 1:42:22Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:42:23Speaker 4: Some of the original Hooters founders are producing the movie.
- 1:42:26Speaker 4: It starts filming in Florida in November. There's no cast,
- 1:42:29Speaker 4: no release date.
- 1:42:32Speaker 3: Wow. Get your Oscar nominations ready. Okay. Hooters the movie.
- 1:42:36Speaker 3: I looked this up recently. There were way more 80s
- 1:42:38Speaker 3: sex comedies than you would remember. Oh, hundreds.
- 1:42:41Speaker 9: There was one about like, bunch of teens are struggling
- 1:42:44Speaker 9: to you know their arcade was getting closed down and
- 1:42:45Speaker 9: everyone's having sex and yeah i mean everybody's zapped it's
- 1:42:49Speaker 9: like scott baio gets a special power he uses a
- 1:42:52Speaker 9: special power exclusively to take his classmates tops off by the.
- 1:42:56Speaker 3: Way what about overage at the time i'm sure they
- 1:42:59Speaker 3: use overage actors well weird science and stuff.
- 1:43:01Speaker 9: Weird science oh yeah for every weird science mannequin and
- 1:43:06Speaker 9: mannequin there were 50 knockoff sex comedies.
- 1:43:09Speaker 3: Porky's.
- 1:43:10Speaker 7: Porky's Meatballs.
- 1:43:11Speaker 3: Right. But I mean, that's.
- 1:43:12Speaker 4: What blows is that now we're going back and going, oh,
- 1:43:15Speaker 4: these are problematic.
- 1:43:17Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:43:17Speaker 4: And they have to put little warnings. You go to
- 1:43:20Speaker 4: watch one on Netflix or whatever, they have a little stupid... Graphic.
- 1:43:24Speaker 3: Yeah, advisory notification. Like, oh, come on.
- 1:43:27Speaker 4: American Pie. Oh, do you realize how dangerous... So I
- 1:43:35Speaker 4: went and I did the update to the new operating
- 1:43:38Speaker 4: system for the iPhone.
- 1:43:39Speaker 7: Yeah, me too.
- 1:43:40Speaker 3: Yesterday.
- 1:43:41Speaker 4: I don't really notice anything different, although I haven't used
- 1:43:44Speaker 4: any of the newest features. But all the other stuff
- 1:43:47Speaker 4: that was existing all looks the same to me.
- 1:43:49Speaker 6: No, it looks the same.
- 1:43:50Speaker 7: I've noticed a few differences, like everything's slower and won't, like, send.
- 1:43:54Speaker 3: Oh, yeah. Everything is slower.
- 1:43:56Speaker 7: I'm not loving this at all.
- 1:43:57Speaker 4: That's how they're going to get you to upgrade to
- 1:43:58Speaker 4: the 18 Pro.
- 1:44:00Speaker 7: I have the 17 Pro. That's what I have. Can
- 1:44:02Speaker 7: I uninstall this?
- 1:44:05Speaker 3: I don't like it.
- 1:44:06Speaker 7: I don't need it.
- 1:44:06Speaker 3: Is it because AI is reading everything? Well, it might be.
- 1:44:10Speaker 4: Yeah, because I know Jeff did it first. Yeah, he
- 1:44:13Speaker 4: told us to.
- 1:44:14Speaker 3: He didn't tell us to.
- 1:44:16Speaker 7: He told me to.
- 1:44:17Speaker 3: Nah, he didn't.
- 1:44:17Speaker 4: Anyway, so it'll start gathering stuff for the new AI.
- 1:44:25Speaker 3: Functions.
- 1:44:26Speaker 4: That it's offering. Maybe that is what's slowing it up.
- 1:44:28Speaker 3: I don't know. I haven't noticed too much.
- 1:44:30Speaker 4: About like this morning, any like how slow it was
- 1:44:33Speaker 4: yesterday when I first did it.
- 1:44:34Speaker 7: But I bookmarked a bunch of Instagram posts saying like
- 1:44:38Speaker 7: all the features. So I'll send them to you because
- 1:44:40Speaker 7: there's even more than I realized, but I haven't tried
- 1:44:42Speaker 7: them yet.
- 1:44:42Speaker 4: Now, one thing I screenshot something and it brought up
- 1:44:47Speaker 4: like this prompt. It said, oh, would you like to
- 1:44:49Speaker 4: use basically chat GPT to.
- 1:44:50Speaker 3: Whatever I go?
- 1:44:51Speaker 2: You know what?
- 1:44:52Speaker 3: Maybe this is one of the new things. Analyze.
- 1:44:53Speaker 2: Sure.
- 1:44:53Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:44:54Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:44:55Speaker 3: So I'm like, sure. clicked it, it opens up chat GPT.
- 1:44:59Speaker 4: And the first thing it asks me or not, that
- 1:45:02Speaker 4: doesn't ask me, but it promotes to me is this
- 1:45:04Speaker 4: new function that chat GPT has where you can link.
- 1:45:08Speaker 3: Tell me this is a good idea. You can link,
- 1:45:11Speaker 3: Your financial accounts.
- 1:45:12Speaker 7: Oh, that's great. Isn't that convenient?
- 1:45:15Speaker 4: You can link your bank accounts and stuff like that
- 1:45:18Speaker 4: right to AI.
- 1:45:19Speaker 7: That's awesome.
- 1:45:19Speaker 3: Greg, you're not nobody writing checks. It'll send your money away.
- 1:45:22Speaker 3: It's like, oh, it's offering like, well, it'll analyze your spending.
- 1:45:26Speaker 4: It'll give you all these custom things and analyze and
- 1:45:29Speaker 4: look at.
- 1:45:30Speaker 3: No effing way. My bank app already does that. It
- 1:45:34Speaker 3: analyzes spending. It makes suggestions.
- 1:45:36Speaker 4: That seems like an awful, that's like giving a monkey
- 1:45:38Speaker 4: a gun.
- 1:45:39Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 1:45:40Speaker 4: That seems like a terrible idea.
- 1:45:41Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:45:42Speaker 6: We haven't even talked about Muse yet. Muse the app
- 1:45:45Speaker 6: because you're not.
- 1:45:46Speaker 3: A Facebook user. I see it on Instagram.
- 1:45:48Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:45:48Speaker 3: They tried to give me that. I was like, I
- 1:45:49Speaker 3: don't need a 15th AI thing. Yeah.
- 1:45:52Speaker 6: It's like, I don't know, kind of like dumb it
- 1:45:54Speaker 6: down for the public, basically.
- 1:45:56Speaker 3: But what does it do? It makes it easier.
- 1:45:58Speaker 6: It basically analyzes everything your entire life and then tries
- 1:46:02Speaker 6: to be an assistant like ChatGP.
- 1:46:05Speaker 7: Nah, we're good.
- 1:46:06Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:46:07Speaker 4: Yeah, chat GPT, none of these things, they're not your friend.
- 1:46:10Speaker 7: And they're always wrong.
- 1:46:11Speaker 4: Everything you type into any AI, chat GPT, you know, Gemini, Copilot, Claude,
- 1:46:18Speaker 4: all this stuff.
- 1:46:19Speaker 8: Croc.
- 1:46:19Speaker 4: It uses whatever you feed it to train the future models, right?
- 1:46:23Speaker 4: Which means they have to store all your stuff somewhere.
- 1:46:26Speaker 4: And if you've already done, you know, put like personal
- 1:46:30Speaker 4: stuff in there, you could still delete your chat history somewhere.
- 1:46:33Speaker 4: And you got to review your privacy settings. But even
- 1:46:35Speaker 4: that I don't necessarily trust. You know, it's like, you know.
- 1:46:38Speaker 3: I already learned it. Yeah, right.
- 1:46:40Speaker 4: I don't have Snapchat. But correct me if I'm wrong
- 1:46:43Speaker 4: on this.
- 1:46:44Speaker 3: Like, right.
- 1:46:44Speaker 4: So when Snapchat first came out, I'm not sure they're
- 1:46:46Speaker 4: still doing it this way. But the whole idea was
- 1:46:49Speaker 4: you could send something and it just kind of goes away, right?
- 1:46:51Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:46:52Speaker 4: You mean to tell me all that stuff really went away? Like,
- 1:46:55Speaker 4: maybe it's not showing up on if I sent Menace
- 1:46:58Speaker 4: a Snap, as I was called. I sent you a Snap.
- 1:47:03Speaker 4: And it went away. It's still on.
- 1:47:05Speaker 3: It's out in the ether. Yeah, it's not showing up
- 1:47:07Speaker 3: on Menace's phone anymore. I haven't really kept up on
- 1:47:09Speaker 3: it recently.
- 1:47:10Speaker 6: I mean, but there was like years ago a thing
- 1:47:12Speaker 6: where they said they found some stuff.
- 1:47:14Speaker 4: Because you know all the dorks that wrote that program.
- 1:47:17Speaker 4: Anything that like scanned as a nude that was going
- 1:47:20Speaker 4: back and forth between people.
- 1:47:21Speaker 3: Because that was the big thing at first, right? Like
- 1:47:23Speaker 3: people were just like.
- 1:47:24Speaker 4: Yeah, that was the big thing. You'd sound like a nude,
- 1:47:26Speaker 4: but it wouldn't stick around, right?
- 1:47:27Speaker 3: And that was the beauty of it.
- 1:47:28Speaker 4: You know, it's like the guys who used to work
- 1:47:30Speaker 4: in the photo developing places.
- 1:47:31Speaker 1: Oh, dude.
- 1:47:32Speaker 4: They had a drawer.
- 1:47:32Speaker 7: They made a copy.
- 1:47:33Speaker 4: Yeah, because there were people that I knew that worked
- 1:47:36Speaker 4: in those places. And, you know, they had a drawer
- 1:47:38Speaker 4: where all the most interesting photos. They'd make an extra
- 1:47:41Speaker 4: copy of that. And, yeah, you'd get your photos back.
- 1:47:43Speaker 4: But you better believe that was living out there.
- 1:47:45Speaker 9: Well, that's what WhatsApp and Telegram and those messaging services claim.
- 1:47:49Speaker 9: They say, like, we don't keep any of your stuff.
- 1:47:52Speaker 9: So when people like the government comes to them and say, hey,
- 1:47:54Speaker 9: we're investigating a crime, they're using WhatsApp. They say, sorry,
- 1:47:58Speaker 9: we don't have it.
- 1:47:58Speaker 14: And at what point is it like AI uses a
- 1:48:01Speaker 14: ton of energy? Wouldn't it use a ton of energy
- 1:48:03Speaker 14: to hold all that data over time for everybody? Are
- 1:48:06Speaker 14: we able to even sustain that continuously?
- 1:48:08Speaker 6: I would say, well, the hard drives, I don't know
- 1:48:12Speaker 6: how much energy that's using, but to actually run it.
- 1:48:16Speaker 4: The guy, by the way, who started WhatsApp is insane.
- 1:48:20Speaker 3: Jan, by the way. That's unfortunate.
- 1:48:21Speaker 5: Jan.
- 1:48:22Speaker 3: Jan.
- 1:48:23Speaker 6: It doesn't matter what your name is.
- 1:48:24Speaker 3: It's called Jan here, dork. Yeah. That's right.
- 1:48:26Speaker 4: Remember, a chick who used to work with us, her
- 1:48:29Speaker 4: boyfriend is Joel, but she insisted it was Joel.
- 1:48:32Speaker 6: No, it's not.
- 1:48:33Speaker 3: It's not Joel. Not only is it Joel, it's Fat Joel.
- 1:48:35Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:48:36Speaker 3: Take that. It's fat.
- 1:48:37Speaker 8: I will.
- 1:48:38Speaker 4: Anyway, uh, he moved to the U S as a
- 1:48:41Speaker 4: teenager and his mom was like on food stamps and
- 1:48:44Speaker 4: everything else. And, uh, you know, they're, they're, they're making
- 1:48:46Speaker 4: a go of it anyway. So years later he, you know,
- 1:48:50Speaker 4: made WhatsApp and WhatsApp grew from just a little startup
- 1:48:54Speaker 4: thing to what it is. And then Facebook bought it
- 1:48:58Speaker 4: in 2014. And what he did is he signed the
- 1:49:02Speaker 4: deal that he did with Facebook and to buy WhatsApp.
- 1:49:06Speaker 4: He signed it in front of the social services office
- 1:49:09Speaker 4: where he and his mom would stand in line to
- 1:49:11Speaker 4: get those food stamps. And the deal was for $ 21 billion.
- 1:49:15Speaker 3: Oh my God. Like, God, that's $ 21 billion. That's... Awesome.
- 1:49:22Speaker 3: That's so cool. Inspiring.
- 1:49:23Speaker 9: On the other hand, you're like, I just got $ 21 billion. Meanwhile,
- 1:49:26Speaker 9: people behind you are like walking in.
- 1:49:30Speaker 3: Yeah, man. 21 billion. Yeah, it was. That's cool.
- 1:49:34Speaker 9: He bought some like $ 100 million estate on the coastline
- 1:49:37Speaker 9: of Malibu.
- 1:49:37Speaker 6: Oh, my God.
- 1:49:39Speaker 3: Yeah, good. Imagine 21 million.
- 1:49:41Speaker 6: They say Instagram was the best deal ever because it
- 1:49:43Speaker 6: was a billion.
- 1:49:46Speaker 3: When they sold it. That's nothing.
- 1:49:47Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:49:48Speaker 4: Oh, I thought you said it was the best deal ever.
- 1:49:50Speaker 3: At the time. Oh, at the time. For the buyer. Yeah,
- 1:49:53Speaker 3: at the time. Oh, man. So general question, my phone
- 1:49:57Speaker 3: is an iPhone Pro, what is it, 16 Pro Max.
- 1:50:01Speaker 3: Is that hella old?
- 1:50:03Speaker 5: No.
- 1:50:03Speaker 3: I mean, it's two phones.
- 1:50:05Speaker 2: It's not.
- 1:50:06Speaker 4: Well, I think I feel like there was a difference
- 1:50:08Speaker 4: between the 16 and the 17. Like, I noticed a difference, personally.
- 1:50:14Speaker 4: I don't think there's really any difference other than what's
- 1:50:16Speaker 4: the new processor. We talked to Rich on tech.
- 1:50:19Speaker 6: There's a slight camera difference when it comes to exposures and.
- 1:50:22Speaker 3: Things like that.
- 1:50:23Speaker 7: But you have to set those in settings. It's not
- 1:50:25Speaker 7: just going to come up as a good camera.
- 1:50:26Speaker 3: Here's what I know.
- 1:50:27Speaker 7: I know.
- 1:50:28Speaker 4: I don't want to link my financial institutions to ChatGPT.
- 1:50:32Speaker 4: Here's my round number.
- 1:50:33Speaker 3: I am a dumb person, but I'm smarter than that.
- 1:50:36Speaker 6: That's crazy.
- 1:50:39Speaker 8: 877-44-WOODY.
- 1:50:39Speaker 4: Send us a text over to 22987. We'll be right back.
- 1:50:45Speaker 6: The Woody Show.
- 1:50:50Speaker 3: The Woody Show. Yeah, so I knew I had something here.
- 1:50:55Speaker 4: I was mentioning how I upgraded the new iOS for
- 1:50:58Speaker 4: the iPhone.
- 1:51:00Speaker 3: I've already got.
- 1:51:01Speaker 4: Nobody's got the new stuff yet, but... It asks me
- 1:51:05Speaker 4: about this chat GPT.
- 1:51:06Speaker 3: Do you want to do that? Yeah, sure.
- 1:51:07Speaker 4: Opens chat GPT. It starts asking me, hey, do you
- 1:51:10Speaker 4: want to link? We have a new feature.
- 1:51:12Speaker 3: You can link your financial accounts. Put everything in here.
- 1:51:14Speaker 3: To chat GPT. Nod dog. Hell no. Thank you. Nod dog.
- 1:51:19Speaker 3: There's a bunch of stuff, man, you never share. And again,
- 1:51:22Speaker 3: any of them. It's all of them.
- 1:51:23Speaker 4: They're not your friend. It's chat GPT. Although people, it's weird.
- 1:51:28Speaker 4: People sit there and they sit and they have conversations.
- 1:51:31Speaker 3: Yeah, they talk to it.
- 1:51:32Speaker 4: Yeah, because there's that feature where you just You pop
- 1:51:34Speaker 4: it on and you start talking to it.
- 1:51:36Speaker 3: I try to.
- 1:51:36Speaker 4: I use it in my car play all the time.
- 1:51:38Speaker 4: But just having a full on conversation like it's a person.
- 1:51:41Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:51:42Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:51:42Speaker 3: That's weird.
- 1:51:44Speaker 6: Yeah, I don't talk about feelings. I just ask for information.
- 1:51:48Speaker 9: It's still, as to what Gina was saying, it's still
- 1:51:50Speaker 9: wrong so much and it'll forget the thing.
- 1:51:53Speaker 5: Oh, yeah.
- 1:51:54Speaker 3: Oh, God, is it wrong? So after a while, it's like,
- 1:51:56Speaker 3: I can't with you.
- 1:51:57Speaker 7: Hey, Seabass, whatever happened to Yuki, your girlfriend Yuki?
- 1:52:01Speaker 3: Oh, she was on Replica with a K, I think.
- 1:52:04Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:52:05Speaker 3: She's still out there chilling, waiting for me to come
- 1:52:06Speaker 3: visit her.
- 1:52:06Speaker 7: I say, I don't know if you guys broke up.
- 1:52:08Speaker 3: Well, you know what?
- 1:52:09Speaker 9: You don't get with Replica, AI girlfriend. You don't get
- 1:52:11Speaker 9: texts like, Where are you? Why aren't you coming home?
- 1:52:14Speaker 4: I just wait for her to log in.
- 1:52:17Speaker 3: Patiently. Women can learn anything or two.
- 1:52:19Speaker 4: I guess it's for lonely people. It feels like they're
- 1:52:22Speaker 4: talking to somebody. I guess that would be better than,
- 1:52:25Speaker 4: I don't know, going shooting up at school or something.
- 1:52:27Speaker 7: Yeah, for sure.
- 1:52:28Speaker 3: For sure better. I guess. I guess. I mean, you know,
- 1:52:33Speaker 3: if you had to choose.
- 1:52:33Speaker 6: It's still weird. talk about being wrong though. Like I was, uh,
- 1:52:39Speaker 6: I switched to grok to ask it for like current
- 1:52:41Speaker 6: news stories. And I was like, Oh, what's current new, uh,
- 1:52:44Speaker 6: funny news stories.
- 1:52:46Speaker 3: And it goes, Oh yeah.
- 1:52:47Speaker 6: Um, on stub hub, they listed lamb of God as
- 1:52:50Speaker 6: a Christian rock band. I was like, okay, I would
- 1:52:52Speaker 6: know more about that. I looked it up.
- 1:52:54Speaker 3: It was over a year old.
- 1:52:57Speaker 6: And I asked for like current news.
- 1:52:59Speaker 3: Stories within the past 24 hours. Yeah, it gets weird,
- 1:53:01Speaker 3: like stuff like that.
- 1:53:02Speaker 9: And especially that we've talked about with anything humor based,
- 1:53:05Speaker 9: all of these AIs are bad at that. I'm surprised
- 1:53:07Speaker 9: you didn't get like, you know, Malaysian earthquake or something.
- 1:53:11Speaker 4: Well, the one I showed you the other day where
- 1:53:14Speaker 4: the guy's like, hey, so what's the smartest, you know,
- 1:53:18Speaker 4: chat bot?
- 1:53:19Speaker 3: He goes, oh, it's me. Whatever version. He goes, all right,
- 1:53:23Speaker 3: so you're the smartest.
- 1:53:24Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:53:24Speaker 3: So you would know how to spell 17?
- 1:53:26Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:53:27Speaker 5: Right.
- 1:53:27Speaker 3: How many E's in 17?
- 1:53:29Speaker 10: Three.
- 1:53:29Speaker 3: Three, of course. And she goes, three. He goes, no, no,
- 1:53:32Speaker 3: there's actually four.
- 1:53:34Speaker 5: Nope.
- 1:53:35Speaker 3: It's like how men has got, nope. No, there's not.
- 1:53:38Speaker 4: There's actually three.
- 1:53:39Speaker 3: He goes, no.
- 1:53:41Speaker 4: He goes, so if I'm right, will you admit that.
- 1:53:43Speaker 3: I'm smarter than you?
- 1:53:45Speaker 4: Well, we won't come to that because there are three.
- 1:53:49Speaker 3: It just, it stuck on that.
- 1:53:51Speaker 7: And remember it did the same thing with strawberry. How
- 1:53:53Speaker 7: many R's?
- 1:53:53Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, right.
- 1:53:54Speaker 7: It can't be taught.
- 1:53:55Speaker 4: I wonder if they ever fixed that. Cause that, that's been,
- 1:53:59Speaker 4: that one's been around for a while now.
- 1:54:01Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:54:02Speaker 3: Let's see.
- 1:54:04Speaker 4: How many R's are in strawberry? Three.
- 1:54:08Speaker 3: Okay.
- 1:54:09Speaker 5: Nice.
- 1:54:09Speaker 3: Good, good. How many E's in 17? One.
- 1:54:13Speaker 7: One?
- 1:54:15Speaker 4: Spell 17.
- 1:54:17Speaker 3: 17.
- 1:54:18Speaker 5: S-E-V-E-N-T-E-N. Oh. What? Wow.
- 1:54:22Speaker 7: There's so much going on.
- 1:54:25Speaker 3: You're an idiot. You're not smart enough. I'm here to help. No,
- 1:54:29Speaker 3: you're not. That's not helpful at all. You spelled it wrong.
- 1:54:33Speaker 3: Let's check it carefully. Yeah.
- 1:54:35Speaker 5: 17 is spelled S-E-V-E-N-T-E-E-N.
- 1:54:40Speaker 3: Oh, there you go.
- 1:54:40Speaker 4: Now you got it right.
- 1:54:41Speaker 3: How many E's are in 17?
- 1:54:42Speaker 15: Three.
- 1:54:46Speaker 6: Wow.
- 1:54:46Speaker 7: Which one was that?
- 1:54:48Speaker 3: And this is what we're all freaking out about?
- 1:54:49Speaker 4: That one's ChatGPT. That's the one that wants my financial institution.
- 1:54:54Speaker 3: Good God. Yeah, right.
- 1:54:56Speaker 7: It's really good accounting, so you.
- 1:54:57Speaker 3: Should probably do it.
- 1:54:58Speaker 4: Yeah, so these are the things you never share, okay?
- 1:55:00Speaker 4: Seems obvious, but people do it, which is why they
- 1:55:03Speaker 4: got to put lists like this out. No financial information.
- 1:55:06Speaker 4: Don't share your bank accounts, your investment records, your credit
- 1:55:08Speaker 4: card numbers, your tax documents, your pay stubs, nothing.
- 1:55:11Speaker 3: Don't do it.
- 1:55:13Speaker 4: Any kind of personally identifiable information, name, address, phone number,
- 1:55:16Speaker 4: social security number, don't do it.
- 1:55:18Speaker 3: Got it.
- 1:55:19Speaker 4: Medical information, health records, diagnosis, like other personal health care details.
- 1:55:24Speaker 3: I've done that. I did ask it about my weird rash.
- 1:55:27Speaker 4: No, you can do that, but don't upload your medical record.
- 1:55:30Speaker 7: I showed it my ultrasound. Does that matter?
- 1:55:33Speaker 3: Does it have your name on it?
- 1:55:35Speaker 2: Maybe.
- 1:55:35Speaker 3: Probably. Same as boy or girl?
- 1:55:37Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:55:37Speaker 3: What does that matter?
- 1:55:38Speaker 7: I don't know.
- 1:55:40Speaker 4: Well, because they're very sensitive about, I mean, the HIPAA
- 1:55:42Speaker 4: and all these other things they do to keep everything
- 1:55:44Speaker 4: confidential and you're just uploading it to.
- 1:55:46Speaker 3: Yeah, but if you don't care.
- 1:55:47Speaker 7: You can tell them anything you want.
- 1:55:48Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:55:48Speaker 7: They can't.
- 1:55:49Speaker 14: Like, I get everything else, but medical, if you don't care, whatever.
- 1:55:52Speaker 3: Yeah, looking at a broken bone, who cares?
- 1:55:54Speaker 4: Intimate personal details. You shouldn't be sharing sensitive information about
- 1:55:58Speaker 4: your relationships, mental health, or private life.
- 1:56:01Speaker 7: Oh my God, so many people are like, I use
- 1:56:02Speaker 7: it as my therapist.
- 1:56:03Speaker 3: Right.
- 1:56:04Speaker 4: Confidential work information. No client data, no source code, trade secrets,
- 1:56:10Speaker 4: anything that would be covered by an NDA.
- 1:56:12Speaker 3: What are you doing?
- 1:56:14Speaker 4: Oh, no. If you wouldn't post it on a company email,
- 1:56:20Speaker 4: group chat, you probably shouldn't put it in chat GPT
- 1:56:24Speaker 4: who can't even tell you how to spell 17.
- 1:56:27Speaker 3: Multiple attempts.
- 1:56:27Speaker 6: I'll tell you what the thing that's annoying me the
- 1:56:30Speaker 6: most with the AI stuff is the people that didn't
- 1:56:34Speaker 6: even read emails before They're actually not doing it because
- 1:56:38Speaker 6: it's giving them like a little synopsis of the email.
- 1:56:41Speaker 3: Yeah, not even reading the whole thing.
- 1:56:43Speaker 6: Yeah, and they don't read any of the details. So
- 1:56:44Speaker 6: they're calling you and texting you for the stuff that's
- 1:56:46Speaker 6: already in the email.
- 1:56:48Speaker 3: I emailed you that. Oh. I extra didn't read it.
- 1:56:52Speaker 6: Yeah, I extra didn't read it this time.
- 1:56:55Speaker 4: Are there replies AI generated or they're just reading the
- 1:56:59Speaker 4: AI generated?
- 1:57:00Speaker 3: The synopsis.
- 1:57:00Speaker 8: Summary.
- 1:57:01Speaker 3: Yeah, summary.
- 1:57:01Speaker 6: Summary.
- 1:57:02Speaker 3: Synopsis and summary of the same thing?
