- 0:00Speaker 1: The legal tampering starts on Monday, but when Jeff Boscher
- 0:03Speaker 1: is on for Football at four next week, everything will
- 0:06Speaker 1: be official. Most obviously everybody talking about AJ Brown, and
- 0:11Speaker 1: then Stefan Diggs gets released today that will only heighten
- 0:15Speaker 1: the conversation, I would imagine. But it sounds like, according
- 0:18Speaker 1: to Mike Garafula, they're looking for a Quinn Williams type
- 0:21Speaker 1: of deal, which is more then they gave up to
- 0:24Speaker 1: get AJ Brown back at twenty twenty two. So it
- 0:27Speaker 1: doesn't sound like they're all that realistic about trying to
- 0:30Speaker 1: move AJ Brown.
- 0:32Speaker 2: No, but that's what you do. You try to take
- 0:34Speaker 2: advantage of a marketplace. You try.
- 0:36Speaker 3: Plus, when they traded for AJ Brown, I don't think
- 0:39Speaker 3: he had had a fourteen hundred yard year, certainly not
- 0:41Speaker 3: consecutive ones like he did.
- 0:43Speaker 2: Have earlier in the career with his Eagles.
- 0:44Speaker 3: But you're right, he's older, he's not coming off his
- 0:47Speaker 3: best seasons productively, and maybe about him. But you're always
- 0:51Speaker 3: going to ask, yeah, for as much as you think
- 0:54Speaker 3: you can.
- 0:55Speaker 1: So do you think they ask and dig their heels
- 0:57Speaker 1: in or that's just the starting point they're willing. It
- 1:00Speaker 1: takes something to lower because Remember, this is a twenty
- 1:02Speaker 1: million dollar over twenty million dollar pit. So if the
- 1:05Speaker 1: juice worth to squeeze to trade him for a second
- 1:07Speaker 1: round pick and the third round pick, if you got
- 1:09Speaker 1: to take a twenty million dollar cap hit.
- 1:11Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm not really worried about the cap hit.
- 1:13Speaker 3: And I think the people who follow the Eagles, I
- 1:15Speaker 3: mean when I say follow, I mean NFL teams aren't
- 1:18Speaker 3: going to worry about that either, because they know the
- 1:20Speaker 3: way the Eagles do business. They know that Eagles are
- 1:22Speaker 3: always among the NFL leaders in dead cap money. It's
- 1:26Speaker 3: about a cash spend, and Eagles, you know there, will
- 1:30Speaker 3: save on cash spend by trading AJ Brown and they
- 1:35Speaker 3: want to be able to have cash to give some
- 1:37Speaker 3: of their own in house free agents.
- 1:39Speaker 2: So I don't think that's going to be a deterrent.
- 1:41Speaker 3: I don't think that the cap hit is going to
- 1:44Speaker 3: force another team to have to pony up more. I
- 1:48Speaker 3: just think that the Eagles will take the best deal
- 1:50Speaker 3: that they can get, and if they can.
- 1:53Speaker 1: Get that right, well, I guess the one question would
- 1:56Speaker 1: be is if you trade AJ Brown, you got the
- 1:59Speaker 1: twenty million dollar cap And I agree they don't care
- 2:01Speaker 1: about that if it's the right deal. Like I said before,
- 2:04Speaker 1: right before you came on, Jeff, they traded Carson Wentz
- 2:07Speaker 1: and took the cap pit because they got a first
- 2:09Speaker 1: round pick in return? Do they trade Carson Wentz to
- 2:12Speaker 1: take the cap pit if they get a third round pick?
- 2:14Speaker 3: I don't know, No, I just I'm saying I just
- 2:16Speaker 3: think that the cappit is irrelevant though, because Aj Brown
- 2:19Speaker 3: is a player who can help them win a lot
- 2:21Speaker 3: of games next year. So it's like, like how he
- 2:24Speaker 3: have said, it's not like he feels like he has
- 2:26Speaker 3: to trade.
- 2:28Speaker 1: Saying that's what they don't feel like they have to
- 2:30Speaker 1: unless you give me what I want.
- 2:33Speaker 2: Or close to it. I mean again, yeah, what how
- 2:36Speaker 2: he probably in his mind.
- 2:40Speaker 3: Believes is a good compensation for Aj Brown is a
- 2:42Speaker 3: little bit different than probably what he's saying to teams,
- 2:45Speaker 3: you know.
- 2:45Speaker 2: And then then he's just waiting to see who makes
- 2:47Speaker 2: the best offer.
- 2:48Speaker 4: Right you ask Hi?
- 2:49Speaker 1: And then if somebody said, now the question is first
- 2:51Speaker 1: round pick? Is that hey, uh, the Patriots are going
- 2:54Speaker 1: to give you a pick. It's going to be deep
- 2:55Speaker 1: in the draft. Is that good enough of a first
- 2:57Speaker 1: round pick though? Or is it any first round pick?
- 3:00Speaker 1: Makes the deal? You know, feasible for.
- 3:02Speaker 3: Me, if I'm not mistaken, I should go back and
- 3:05Speaker 3: google this because I'm sure it's out there. I believe
- 3:06Speaker 3: when Carson Wentz first was sort of being you know, like,
- 3:11Speaker 3: all right, they're going to trade him, that there were
- 3:13Speaker 3: reports about the Eagles asking for like two first round
- 3:15Speaker 3: picks for him. Okay, so that that I'm pretty sure
- 3:18Speaker 3: that that was the case, So we'll have to go back.
- 3:19Speaker 2: I'll go back and look.
- 3:20Speaker 3: But that's my point on you set a public asking
- 3:24Speaker 3: price really high and then see what's worth it. Now
- 3:29Speaker 3: I've thought about this Patriots thing, and part of me,
- 3:31Speaker 3: and I'm probably overthinking it, would probably be intrigued by
- 3:36Speaker 3: getting a future first round pick from the Patriots.
- 3:38Speaker 1: Well year Quinn Williams trade, they got a twenty twenty
- 3:42Speaker 1: six second round pick and a twenty twenty seven first round.
- 3:46Speaker 3: Pick, right, And it makes sense because the Patriots have
- 3:49Speaker 3: not only do they have a low pick, but what
- 3:51Speaker 3: are the odds that the Patriots are going to go
- 3:53Speaker 3: back to the Super Bowl or finished with the top
- 3:56Speaker 3: three record fell again next year? Probably not very high
- 4:00Speaker 3: compared to maybe just being eleven or twelve wins. Right,
- 4:03Speaker 3: So even with aj Brown, So there might be something
- 4:07Speaker 3: there to that where you'd rather have the first round
- 4:09Speaker 3: pick two years down the road if But you know,
- 4:11Speaker 3: the Patriots are smart too. I'm sure they understand that
- 4:14Speaker 3: that part of the situation as well.
- 4:16Speaker 4: All right, Jeff Boscher Football at four. What about that?
- 4:19Speaker 1: Get your take on the Goddard thing here, because apparently
- 4:22Speaker 1: they're talking but likely going to free agency. Is he
- 4:26Speaker 1: on the list of priority for the Philadelphia Eagles or
- 4:29Speaker 1: that just unrealistic that they'll be able to afford him.
- 4:34Speaker 3: No, I mean it's not unrealistic until they know what
- 4:37Speaker 3: the market is.
- 4:39Speaker 2: Now.
- 4:39Speaker 3: If he gets you know, if he gets like a
- 4:42Speaker 3: multi year deal and you're talking about man, I forgot
- 4:46Speaker 3: to look at the top that, like, you know, ten
- 4:48Speaker 3: to twelve million a year, then that's.
- 4:50Speaker 2: Probably not going to be feasible, probably, I'll say. But
- 4:54Speaker 2: sure they would love to have all their players back,
- 4:56Speaker 2: But there's.
- 4:57Speaker 1: Nobody that would think like they're like, man, I don't
- 4:59Speaker 1: want this got back. They certainly won't Gotter back. But
- 5:01Speaker 1: how realistic is you got a guy coming off sixty catches,
- 5:05Speaker 1: eleven touchdowns. I would imagine he prices himself out.
- 5:08Speaker 3: Yeah, it's very possible. But you know, he's a guy
- 5:10Speaker 3: who's had an injury history. He's not young anymore. It
- 5:13Speaker 3: wasn't very good as blocking last year. These are all
- 5:16Speaker 3: things that could wind up maybe scaring off certain teams
- 5:19Speaker 3: from giving him guaranteed money in the second or the
- 5:22Speaker 3: third year of a deal. You know, I mean, I
- 5:23Speaker 3: think that that's a big part of it. So if
- 5:26Speaker 3: good that in the past, in the past, I was
- 5:31Speaker 3: just gonna say, in the past, when the Eagles have
- 5:33Speaker 3: come back from a combine, right, they have, when they've
- 5:37Speaker 3: had in house free agents, they've been able to come
- 5:41Speaker 3: to extensions with the guys that they prioritized before free
- 5:45Speaker 3: agency started.
- 5:45Speaker 2: And here we are, they've been back from the combine.
- 5:48Speaker 3: It is now, you know, almost the end of Wednesday,
- 5:51Speaker 3: So now you're looking at Thursday.
- 5:52Speaker 2: You only had like two sort of business.
- 5:54Speaker 3: Days left before Monday when the tampering begins. So the
- 5:58Speaker 3: closer we get to the weekend right with no in
- 6:02Speaker 3: house extension, the more it seems logical that it's going
- 6:05Speaker 3: to be tougher to retain these guys because then offers
- 6:09Speaker 3: are going to start coming in, and you know, if
- 6:11Speaker 3: the Eagles are sitting here still kind of trying to
- 6:13Speaker 3: figure things out with aj Brown, then they kind of
- 6:16Speaker 3: could stand to lose some guys. So it's a really
- 6:19Speaker 3: they have to have this sort of situated sooner than later.
- 6:23Speaker 1: I guess my follow up to the godd thing would be,
- 6:25Speaker 1: if Goddar walks, what's the plan? I mean draft free agency.
- 6:31Speaker 1: They don't have a guy on the roster.
- 6:34Speaker 2: And they would obviously have to.
- 6:37Speaker 3: When you said draft free agency, it is certainly not
- 6:39Speaker 3: an either or, it is a both. And like I've said,
- 6:42Speaker 3: even if they retain Dallas Goddard, they will need to
- 6:46Speaker 3: use draft and free agency to rebuild that position.
- 6:51Speaker 1: Right because last year we all anticipated that they would
- 6:54Speaker 1: draft a tight end to be the heir apparent to Goddard.
- 6:59Speaker 1: That never happened. So they could go to the reversal, right,
- 7:02Speaker 1: go back and bring a guy like Zach Ertz in
- 7:05Speaker 1: on a cheap one year deal and then draft a
- 7:07Speaker 1: guy have him play behind Ertz, something to that effect.
- 7:11Speaker 1: I wouldn't be shocked if they went back down a
- 7:13Speaker 1: road like that. Get a guy who's a little bit
- 7:15Speaker 1: of a veteran that could play still, but then you
- 7:18Speaker 1: can kind of make that change over somewhere in the middle.
- 7:21Speaker 4: Of the year.
- 7:23Speaker 3: Yeah, because you know, once Monday comes and the league
- 7:26Speaker 3: New Year begins, the only tight end that they have
- 7:29Speaker 3: under contract I believe would be Cam Latu, maybe EJ.
- 7:32Speaker 3: Jenkins also, I have to check, but the only one
- 7:34Speaker 3: who's you know, played some significant snaps would be Cam
- 7:37Speaker 3: Latsu and they were playing him at fullback. So it's
- 7:40Speaker 3: a position that they're pretty bare in the cupboard with football.
- 7:43Speaker 1: For Jeff Boscher from the Inside the Birds podcasts Inside
- 7:46Speaker 1: the Birds dot Com, one of the things you guys
- 7:48Speaker 1: discussed on the most recent Inside the Birds is the
- 7:52Speaker 1: edge rusher. That's Jalen Phillips. It sounds like he's the
- 7:55Speaker 1: priority here, But I bring up a scenario that I
- 7:58Speaker 1: want to get your take on. Uh, is there somebody
- 8:01Speaker 1: on the market that's better than Phillips that you would
- 8:04Speaker 1: say if I had to pay Phillips x, I might
- 8:07Speaker 1: as well just pay so and so why.
- 8:12Speaker 2: I mean, Trey Hendrickson's a better player. I mean, he's
- 8:14Speaker 2: an elite defensive end. But Trey Hendrickson, for his I
- 8:18Speaker 2: believe his entire career has been a four to three
- 8:21Speaker 2: hands in the dirt defensive end.
- 8:24Speaker 3: I don't know that he's played in a Fangio like
- 8:26Speaker 3: different defense where he's been standing up and dropping occasionally
- 8:30Speaker 3: and you know, doing things like that. So in that regard,
- 8:34Speaker 3: I'm not sure he's the greatest fit in the world
- 8:36Speaker 3: for what the Eagles do. I mean, great pass rushers
- 8:38Speaker 3: are great pass rushers. But you saw Bryce Huff what happened.
- 8:41Speaker 3: If you don't really fit the scheme, this just might
- 8:44Speaker 3: not be the place for you. And then I think
- 8:47Speaker 3: if you don't bring back Jill and Phillips, then I
- 8:50Speaker 3: think there's some wisdom to saying, Hey, if Cosby and
- 8:55Speaker 3: yes it costs us had to pay to keep Jill and.
- 8:57Speaker 2: Phillips, you probably feel pretty good about that.
- 9:02Speaker 1: What well Phillips. I don't know what kind of impact
- 9:06Speaker 1: do you think Phillips had.
- 9:09Speaker 3: I think he had a good impact. Absolutely. I think
- 9:11Speaker 3: he's a really good player. If you just look at
- 9:15Speaker 3: it in sacks, you're probably a little disappointed and ask
- 9:18Speaker 3: game or two that he played with the Eagles. But
- 9:21Speaker 3: he has the B type exactly that you want to
- 9:24Speaker 3: be a very good, above average two way edge for
- 9:28Speaker 3: the Eagles, meaning he can defend the run well, can
- 9:31Speaker 3: obviously rush the passer. He's a quality human being. He
- 9:35Speaker 3: knows Vic Fangio's defense. He's thrived in Vic Fangio's defense.
- 9:38Speaker 3: So I don't want to just like, if you just
- 9:42Speaker 3: look at his the small Eagles sample size, it's probably
- 9:45Speaker 3: not enough. He's overcome some tremendous injuries to be a
- 9:48Speaker 3: pretty good player. You mentioned the name like maybe Bradley
- 9:51Speaker 3: Chubb who was already really I mean, who they could
- 9:53Speaker 3: like sign right now while we're talking, if they if
- 9:56Speaker 3: they wanted to for some of the same reasons I
- 9:58Speaker 3: just mentioned about Jaalen Phillips with no the scheme and fitting,
- 10:01Speaker 3: it would be a pretty decent alternative that. I think
- 10:04Speaker 3: that guy's been a two time Pro bowler as well,
- 10:06Speaker 3: So that would be a name that you would look
- 10:08Speaker 3: for along with Crosby.
- 10:10Speaker 1: All right, Jeff Buscher football at for and of course
- 10:12Speaker 1: the legal tampering begins on Monday. Yeah, the Crosby thing
- 10:18Speaker 1: is gonna be interesting to see.
- 10:19Speaker 4: Now.
- 10:20Speaker 1: Do you think the Eagles and the Raiders could just
- 10:22Speaker 1: make a call and say, hey, you're gonna draft a
- 10:24Speaker 1: quarterback Mendoza one, we'll give you Brown, you give us Crosby,
- 10:27Speaker 1: and let's just do that.
- 10:29Speaker 4: Does that work?
- 10:31Speaker 2: Oh? Man? I don't think the Raiders are looking for
- 10:35Speaker 2: veteran players. I think they're looking at for y'all.
- 10:38Speaker 1: If you're bringing in a young quarterback, do you want
- 10:39Speaker 1: to give him a wide receiver right off the bat?
- 10:43Speaker 2: Yeah you would, but you know you do have brock powers.
- 10:45Speaker 3: He's a pretty good he may not be a wide receiver,
- 10:48Speaker 3: but he's a pretty good pass catching target. Who's the
- 10:51Speaker 3: other guy that they have that's that wasn't bad that
- 10:54Speaker 3: they got from the Patriots?
- 10:55Speaker 2: Is he still there again?
- 10:56Speaker 1: No?
- 10:56Speaker 2: They traded him to the Jaguars, and that Jacoby Myers.
- 10:58Speaker 1: Jacoby Myers trading and they got gent as that you
- 11:00Speaker 1: would have running back, tight end and then it's your receiver.
- 11:04Speaker 3: Yeah, I think that they would probably be looking toward
- 11:07Speaker 3: younger free agency or the draft for their wide receiver help.
- 11:11Speaker 1: Over at Philly Voice, Jeff You wrote about where Eagles
- 11:14Speaker 1: free agents could end up. Are you hearing a lot
- 11:16Speaker 1: of the buzz about guys like Nacobe Dean read blanket
- 11:20Speaker 1: ship and the possibility of them all landing in Dallas?
- 11:25Speaker 3: Well, I mean I'm hearing fans, like you know, crapping
- 11:28Speaker 3: their pants about it.
- 11:31Speaker 2: And emailing and tweeting about it. But I wrote that as.
- 11:35Speaker 3: A non buzzword like non intel, based just my best
- 11:39Speaker 3: stab on what I know about the league, what I
- 11:42Speaker 3: know about the teams that need certain players, and what
- 11:45Speaker 3: I know about the Eagles players, and I thought I
- 11:48Speaker 3: had some pretty good fits there.
- 11:49Speaker 2: We'll see if it works out well.
- 11:50Speaker 1: Nakobe Dean, you know it's funny because obviously he would
- 11:53Speaker 1: be the least likely of all the major free agents
- 11:56Speaker 1: to return.
- 11:56Speaker 4: Do you agree, Uh?
- 11:58Speaker 1: Yeah, so he's likely someplace else. Uh Read Blankenship.
- 12:04Speaker 4: I just don't. I feel like somebody looks.
- 12:07Speaker 1: At Read Blanketship as the guy that they're willing to
- 12:09Speaker 1: overpay because he's on, you know, a championship team and
- 12:13Speaker 1: he won a Super Bowl, and he could be the
- 12:15Speaker 1: guy that kind of.
- 12:16Speaker 4: You know, if you have a new coordinator.
- 12:17Speaker 1: So I feel like blanketship chances are coming back are
- 12:20Speaker 1: pretty minimal.
- 12:23Speaker 2: I think they're Yeah, I think you're probably right. I
- 12:27Speaker 2: question just how much the overpay is gonna be.
- 12:30Speaker 3: But might be too much for the Eagles because we've
- 12:33Speaker 3: seen this before, like Marcus uh T J.
- 12:36Speaker 2: Edwards and Marcus Epps were similar stories.
- 12:38Speaker 3: Undrafted rookie free agents became starters, really good left but
- 12:43Speaker 3: they never really reset the market. They they signed modest
- 12:46Speaker 3: deals and the Eagles still didn't bring him back.
- 12:48Speaker 1: I would say, Jeff, see if you agree, though, if
- 12:51Speaker 1: you ask Reid Blanketship, he would probably rather stay here
- 12:56Speaker 1: for less.
- 12:57Speaker 4: But it's gonna get a deal where he just can't
- 12:59Speaker 4: say no.
- 12:59Speaker 2: To no, because I know that TJ. Edwards wanting to
- 13:05Speaker 2: stay with the Eagles.
- 13:06Speaker 4: Right, but he got a deal that he couldn't say
- 13:07Speaker 4: no to.
- 13:08Speaker 3: Yeah, but it wasn't a great deal, So I mean,
- 13:10Speaker 3: like it was, it was it was a very very
- 13:12Speaker 3: mid market deal. It was just a mid market deal,
- 13:14Speaker 3: and it was more than the Eagles were willing to give.
- 13:16Speaker 3: So what I'm saying is, I think it'll come down
- 13:18Speaker 3: to the most money, even if it's not the best.
- 13:21Speaker 1: Money, because I think deep down, if you asked Reed
- 13:23Speaker 1: blanket Chip, he would say, there's no way I want
- 13:25Speaker 1: to leave here. Like I think he genuinely wants to
- 13:28Speaker 1: be here, and him and Cooper and all that, you know,
- 13:31Speaker 1: everything they've built together. This is a guy from a
- 13:34Speaker 1: very small school and and and made.
- 13:37Speaker 4: His bones here.
- 13:38Speaker 1: For him to have to leave, I think it's gonna
- 13:40Speaker 1: be kind of like a very very hard and disappointing
- 13:43Speaker 1: for him, but I think he is going to have
- 13:46Speaker 1: to come to terms with I'm gonna have to leave
- 13:48Speaker 1: and I don't want to.
- 13:50Speaker 3: Yeah, that's exactly what Edwards had to do, and probably
- 13:54Speaker 3: what Marcus as well well Edwards did.
- 13:56Speaker 1: Go Edwards went to Chicago. He is from isn't he
- 13:59Speaker 1: from Chicago's.
- 14:01Speaker 2: So that was a good sort of Uh.
- 14:02Speaker 3: I don't want to call it a consolation produe, but
- 14:04Speaker 3: at least it was a good perk for that he
- 14:05Speaker 3: could be comfortable there. He was from. There probably was
- 14:08Speaker 3: his second choice to the Eagles. But in that regard,
- 14:12Speaker 3: I just when you're I just don't know how much
- 14:16Speaker 3: money the Eagles I expect to have in cash to
- 14:20Speaker 3: be able to pay him when they've also got the
- 14:22Speaker 3: Jalen Carter's and the Jordan Davis and uh, you know,
- 14:25Speaker 3: next year will be Hunt and Quinna Mitchell and maybe Cooper.
- 14:29Speaker 3: By the way, we'll talk about this. This probably isn't
- 14:31Speaker 3: the different, but that trade that Kansas City made, trading
- 14:35Speaker 3: McDuffie to that has some major major implications for the
- 14:40Speaker 3: Eagles next year when it comes to Cooper has implications.
- 14:45Speaker 1: Okay, Well, I definitely want to hear that, Jeff Boscher
- 14:48Speaker 1: from the Inside of the Birds Podcast, You have any
- 14:50Speaker 1: interest in Makai Beckton coming back?
- 14:53Speaker 2: You want to sign him on a one year minor,
- 14:56Speaker 2: you know, for depth? Sure?
- 14:58Speaker 4: Without statlin here?
- 15:00Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean I don't think you forgot how to
- 15:01Speaker 2: play guard, just the Chargers think so.
- 15:06Speaker 3: No, I mean some of that is financial too, I'm sure,
- 15:08Speaker 3: but yeah, I mean I don't, I don't.
- 15:11Speaker 2: I don't see this. That guy is like a I
- 15:13Speaker 2: don't think it's gonna make the biggest difference.
- 15:14Speaker 3: Actually, Actually, to be fair, now, that thing about it,
- 15:19Speaker 3: their focus on offensive line should probably be guys who.
- 15:22Speaker 2: Move laterally more than north south.
- 15:25Speaker 3: So yeah, again, do you want to bring him back
- 15:27Speaker 3: for depth or to have a guy?
- 15:29Speaker 2: Yeah, but that's fine. He's not gonna cost you anything.
- 15:31Speaker 3: But I don't know that that is the mold of
- 15:33Speaker 3: offensive linemen that they're gonna be hunting in the future.
- 15:37Speaker 1: All right, Well, we talked to Adam yesterday. He gave
- 15:41Speaker 1: us all the positions where there is some depth in
- 15:44Speaker 1: free agency center guard, not as much as tackle. So
- 15:49Speaker 1: we'll keep an eye on what the Eagles do because
- 15:50Speaker 1: they're gonna have to to add a little bit of
- 15:52Speaker 1: depth on the offensive line.
- 15:54Speaker 4: Can't do it all through the drafting.
- 15:55Speaker 1: Quite frankly, they have not hit in the draft on
- 15:59Speaker 1: all the depth pieces that they normally have. Deepest positions
- 16:02Speaker 1: on offense. As Adams said yesterday, guard center, weakest positions,
- 16:07Speaker 1: left tackle, right tackle. So if you want to try
- 16:10Speaker 1: to get some interior help, there you go.
- 16:13Speaker 3: I'm glad you brought it up, because I mean, listen,
- 16:15Speaker 3: we give Howe a lot of credit and he deserves it,
- 16:17Speaker 3: no doubt, but there are some flaws. Right in Day three,
- 16:20Speaker 3: They've tried to upgrade. They've tried to add depth to
- 16:23Speaker 3: the interior offensive line. Drafted a kid out of Michigan
- 16:26Speaker 3: a couple of years ago whose name is all of
- 16:27Speaker 3: a sudden escaping me. But he was with the Cowboys
- 16:30Speaker 3: last year. It just didn't work out. Trevor Keagan, thank you.
- 16:34Speaker 3: They drafted the kid, McMahon, the center out of NC State.
- 16:39Speaker 3: I think two years ago. The Rams claimed him off waiver.
- 16:43Speaker 3: So you know, they got Lampkin last year. You know,
- 16:45Speaker 3: they haven't hit on the depth of their offensive line
- 16:49Speaker 3: as much as they used to, like when you had
- 16:52Speaker 3: guys like Big V and Isaac Sam around. Picking a
- 16:55Speaker 3: fifth round pick that really came through for you. They
- 16:58Speaker 3: need to get get them right.
- 17:00Speaker 1: Well, Monday, the legal tampering at this time on Monday, Well,
- 17:04Speaker 1: the Eagles have something that we'll be discussing on Monday.
- 17:08Speaker 2: Is it, pat What time is it for sure? Oh?
- 17:11Speaker 3: Oh, well the Eagles have I think so, Mike, I
- 17:14Speaker 3: think there will be some kind of either extension, free
- 17:18Speaker 3: agent out out of free agency signing trade.
- 17:20Speaker 1: Okay, right, like right now, you're starting to see guys
- 17:23Speaker 1: get cut backed in Diggs others.
- 17:26Speaker 4: Do the Eagles have cut candidates.
- 17:29Speaker 2: Cut candidates.
- 17:32Speaker 3: Like you to help them, to help Carter because of
- 17:35Speaker 3: the the contract is so gigantic for this next year,
- 17:39Speaker 3: the way the Jets structured that, there's no way the
- 17:41Speaker 3: Eagles are paying them whatever a million.
- 17:43Speaker 4: And the people forgot that Michael Carter was here.
- 17:45Speaker 3: But yes, yeah, yeah, I know that wasn't the sexiest
- 17:47Speaker 3: name I was given you guys, but that one really
- 17:50Speaker 3: jumps out.
- 17:51Speaker 1: All right, Well, we'll see because they don't have a
- 17:54Speaker 1: lot of cap space, so we'll see if they can
- 17:56Speaker 1: maybe trim some to get some more cap space here
- 17:59Speaker 1: and make this an interesting all season. It all starts
- 18:01Speaker 1: Monday and motions here for Football four. Thanks Man, you
- 18:05Speaker 1: got it.
- 18:05Speaker 2: Man take care.
