Latest / Brett Keane and Eve Show / Brett Keane | How to Easily Defeat Atheists in Debate
Transcript
- 1:32Hello, ladies and gentlemen, my name is Brett Keen from God TV
- 1:35radio. I hope you're all having a
- 1:38blessed day out there. I've had Christians.
- 1:42I'm not going to name off names who have emailed me and they've
- 1:46asked me all throughout the years brought what do you think
- 1:51the best approach is in order to take out an atheist and a
- 1:54debate? What is the simplest way?
- 1:58See one of the issues that Christians have had when dealing
- 2:02with non-believers as Usually whenever an atheist comes into a
- 2:06conversation they come off. Some of them will pretend to be
- 2:11nice but it always leads into theological questions.
- 2:16The major argument that a lot of atheist, try to go for is what
- 2:23about what your god did hear? What about what your god did
- 2:26there and the Bible? And what about where's your God
- 2:31at when this is happening in the world?
- 2:34And we don't have a problem obviously talking about the
- 2:38different events and issues in the Bible.
- 2:40Some of us have really good explanations for Why God did
- 2:44what he did. Some of us just say, we don't
- 2:47know God's a mystery, he does what he's going to do and other
- 2:51people. They We'll explain what was
- 2:55happening in the context of the scenario, why?
- 2:58It is that God dealt with people the certain way that he did and
- 3:02the atheist. If you give them the
- 3:04opportunity, they're going to just spend the entire time
- 3:08attacking God even if you answer one question they're going to do
- 3:11another and another and another because the interest is not to
- 3:16actually get an answer from you. It's not to get a good
- 3:19explanation that is satisfying to them the ultimate Reason why
- 3:24they're doing it is, they're trying to Gaslight you into
- 3:27believing that what you endorse or support your faith are?
- 3:33Your hope is wrong. That's what they want to do it,
- 3:38whether they disprove God in the conversation, according to their
- 3:41own intellect, they want to feel validated, they want to look
- 3:46funny and interesting in front of their audience and it has
- 3:49nothing to do with intellectual conversation.
- 3:52Are them truly wanting No, I rarely ever have met any
- 3:56non-believers who actually care. So when getting into a
- 4:02discussion with them and they start their spill, just watch my
- 4:05last live show. This has happened a hundred
- 4:09thousand times in my discussions where they go right, after
- 4:13religion right after God. Well, me, I know that I'm the
- 4:17host. I know that I'm the one that
- 4:19created the show and I'm in full control, and I say, what gives
- 4:23talk. About and what doesn't?
- 4:25I don't have this thing. This gentle ice cream version of
- 4:28Christianity, where I feel like I have to allow myself to be
- 4:32interrogated by every atheist on the internet whenever they're
- 4:36looking for attention or wanting to put someone on the spot.
- 4:44I know the game and I'm not interested in playing it.
- 4:48So I say to them I'm more than happy to answer your questions
- 4:52but you're going to need to answer some of mine in order for
- 4:57me to get a baseline of where you're coming from and what your
- 5:00position is. Now, 90% of the time, they will
- 5:04immediately try to It's a No-No. I have questions for you, don't
- 5:11deviate from my topic. It's my show.
- 5:14I am going to do it the way I want to.
- 5:18I'm the one that was originally having a conversation, you are a
- 5:22guest that came in, we will answer your questions, I will
- 5:26talk to you, but I want to know where you're actually coming
- 5:31from. And what I have discovered 9
- 5:33times out of 10 is That atheists do have a faith based system.
- 5:39I can understand why some religious people out there claim
- 5:43that they have faith and I'll give you some examples.
- 5:47Why? And I can also give you examples
- 5:50of things that show that they're borderlines Supernatural beliefs
- 5:55that a lot of these non-believers have.
- 5:57And for whatever reason, it just never registered in their mind
- 6:01or in their brain that some of the views they have are
- 6:05bordering on A supernatural, very religious ideas that they
- 6:10have. Another thing that an atheist
- 6:15does not like before I get into all that, they don't like being
- 6:20told during a religion because they claim to hate religion.
- 6:24Or that they think religion is wrong.
- 6:27They also do not like to be told that atheism is a worldview even
- 6:33though the very definition, yeah, a worldview is a person's
- 6:38view of the world and existence. It's basically how you see the
- 6:46planet, your view of the world. That's why it's called worldview
- 6:50for some reason that phrase messes atheist up there.
- 6:56I don't have a worldview. Yeah, you do everybody's got a
- 7:00world do everybody has their own ideas and thoughts about how
- 7:05they view the world. And if you're going to say you
- 7:07don't, then you're an idiot, you need to get to a dictionary and
- 7:11get yourself figured out on that.
- 7:14Another thing that atheist like to do too is they like to claim?
- 7:17They don't have burden of proof. Well they don't have burden of
- 7:20proof whenever it comes to the concept of God because by
- 7:24default they lack a belief and deities so they don't have the
- 7:28burden of proof of trying to prove God but they do have a lot
- 7:32of positive assertions and claims that they need to
- 7:36actually back up that they do have burden of proof on.
- 7:42And I know at this point in the video These eight history
- 7:45probably shut in their pants. What do you mean?
- 7:47I have a burden of proof. The burden of proof is that you
- 7:52believe that the entire universe and everything in existence came
- 7:56here, VI natural processes by default.
- 8:01If you're stating that the supernatural number happened,
- 8:05And you believe that everything from Evolution to abiogenesis
- 8:09and everything that's going on in the universe, is all some
- 8:13kind of order of natural processes.
- 8:16Then my friend that's a positive claim.
- 8:19It's an assertion and it is also stating that you base, all this
- 8:26are near limited narrow view of reality.
- 8:29The fact is that no one out there on the planet is able to
- 8:34completely Grasp, or be able to understand and Define reality
- 8:41and its epitome of what it is. And the reason why is because we
- 8:47can only see so far, we can only even with the greatest tools and
- 8:52technology that we use. We don't know what the hell's
- 8:55going on with the rest of the universe.
- 8:57In fact, we're so limited in our site and our perception and view
- 9:03of things that sometimes Times meteorites fly by us and we
- 9:07don't know until they've already went past us big-ass rocks and
- 9:12space. That our planet Killers we miss
- 9:15them because our tools do not have the ability to optimally
- 9:20see all over the planet and what's happening.
- 9:26Hell, even inside of our planet, we can't view or perceive or see
- 9:32some kind of danger. That's right.
- 9:34Around the damn corner. And that's even whenever you're
- 9:38in a crowded space or around a bunch of people, something
- 9:41horrible can happen to you and you won't know until it's done.
- 9:46It is what it is. But the point is, is if you want
- 9:51a weapon atheist is asked, and you need to hold them to, you
- 9:54need to aggressively question, what their views are and their
- 9:58ideas. And then once you do that, then
- 10:01you can allow them to go into all the crap they want to.
- 10:06There's a couple different things that you can bring up one
- 10:10and this one will take them hours of going back and forth.
- 10:14Usually by I would say 15 minutes they Rage Quit are they
- 10:18run away because they Other screwed is when you ask them to
- 10:21demonstrate evidence, that everything is a natural process.
- 10:29They expect you to describe in great detail how God works and
- 10:34does things they expect you in. Great detail to describe how a
- 10:39supernatural entity does all that he does why he does it is
- 10:43it moral why he does it? How does he do it?
- 10:47What time did he do it? So why don't you do the same
- 10:51thing? Remove God out of the question
- 10:54and simply put natural processes in it because that's what they
- 10:58believe if they're going to say there's no God no intelligent
- 11:02designer. There's no entity or fourth or
- 11:05fifth dimensional entity that is above us and control of
- 11:09existence in the universe. Then tell them to show us how
- 11:13this works. If any of them actually make the
- 11:17attempt to the effort to try to demonstrate any kind of evidence
- 11:22of the universe and the world, you're going to discover real
- 11:25quick that they will phrase it in a way where it's clear that
- 11:30they believe that everything was some form of guided process,
- 11:35they'll claim chaos. But when trying to really,
- 11:38really dig down and go down the rabbit hole with you, everything
- 11:42from Evolution to abiogenesis, They will tell you that there's
- 11:46mutations and certain things that will happen that will
- 11:50register inside of cells and genetics to cause the processes
- 11:55that happen and they'll even tell you that it's absolutely
- 11:59expected to go this route based upon the variables of the
- 12:04environment, so they actually believe there are formulas and
- 12:09systems and all this. Now, you're probably asking me
- 12:13well, what is it? That a A estar stating that
- 12:17could really Define them as a religion.
- 12:19What are they saying? That sounds super natural.
- 12:23I'll give you an example, many atheists, believe in the big
- 12:26bang. I have an atheist friend who
- 12:29hangs out in my rooms all the time, who threw away the theory
- 12:33of the big bang, a long time ago, he is absolutely aware that
- 12:37it is, commonly believed that the Universe had a beginning and
- 12:40it's going through an expansion period.
- 12:42But he threw it away because he knew that he did not want to
- 12:46find himself in the uncomfortable position of having
- 12:49to explain how the big bang is not Supernatural by definition.
- 12:54I'll tell you why the universe is Supernatural.
- 12:57If the Big Bang Theory is correct the Big Bang is claiming
- 13:03that, it's um, Point in our history, the history following,
- 13:10the big bang that there was no nature space or time.
- 13:15Now, being that there was no nature, there was no natural
- 13:18laws, you have to have nature in order to have those laws.
- 13:22Now being that the laws did not exist, the Supernatural is
- 13:26defined as something that exists and processes and works Beyond
- 13:32nature itself and the laws of nature.
- 13:35Nature, it's above it Beyond it. The big bang universe is
- 13:41Supernatural and claimed. If you were to ask an atheist,
- 13:47do you believe in Jesus Christ? And you believe that he died and
- 13:51resurrected, they would say, no, I don't believe that.
- 13:54Something that is dead, can rise from Death.
- 13:59Bill even claim that it's not scientifically possible for
- 14:03something to be dead for three days, and then resurrect.
- 14:07But if you were to ask them about natural processes and say,
- 14:11did you come from rocks? Did you come from nonliving
- 14:15things? Did you come from things that
- 14:18are defined as being dead? Or never being alive in the
- 14:21first place? Unfortunately, for them by
- 14:25default because they throw God out of the equation.
- 14:28They have to believe there was some unusual natural process
- 14:32that took place and why it is that rocks.
- 14:36And material on the earth, went from nonliving to all the
- 14:41plants, all the animals and all the humans that have ever
- 14:44existed. That's a supernatural claim as
- 14:48well because it is never been scientifically observed.
- 14:54There is nowhere in nature where living things come out of
- 14:58nonliving material. It is always been observed.
- 15:03That life comes from life. If I were to say, did you get
- 15:10here vi just appearing or poof? You just came into existence.
- 15:15You'd say no brat. I came from my parents and of
- 15:19course, your parents were alive. They were alive whenever they
- 15:23did their their due diligence, if you know what I mean, and
- 15:27they went through the biological process of reproduction and you
- 15:31came into existence. There's no arguing that.
- 15:38There's no human in the world that would ever claim that a
- 15:41human came from nothingness. There's no person out there.
- 15:45That's got that kind of stupidity where they would
- 15:48actually think that something can actually come out of
- 15:52non-life. They're always going to
- 15:54presuppose that you came from a parent or a life form because
- 15:58that's all they've ever seen. It's all they've ever observed
- 16:00that scientific fact but no one and I mean no one, not one.
- 16:06Single atheist starting to plan. Nat or religious person is ever
- 16:09seen life come from nothing. It always had to be from some
- 16:14form of intelligence that was sentient and alive.
- 16:26You want to really mess an atheist up in a debate.
- 16:31Whenever they claim to be a rational logical critical
- 16:34thinker, ask them how Evolution gave them the ability to think
- 16:39the thoughts they do in the first place.
- 16:42Ask them how it is that rationality and logic even
- 16:47exist. Go even further.
- 16:50Tell them to describe two natural processes.
- 16:53How dreams and Consciousness exists within 10 minutes?
- 16:59They're going to go from an arrogant pompous know-it-all to
- 17:02wait a minute. I'm not a biologist.
- 17:04I'm not a zoologist, I'm not a scientist.
- 17:07I just I'm just telling you what I've heard and what I've read.
- 17:16If an atheist gets into a stupid conversation with you, where
- 17:19they're questioning, the credibility of a claim based
- 17:25upon peer-reviewed papers of science, ask them if any of the
- 17:31claims that they have given you or put out there are based upon
- 17:36peer review and if they say yes, which most likely, they will,
- 17:40deliberately lie, say to them. All right, who are the Arthur's
- 17:45and tell me? A bit about the summary.
- 17:47Give me a summary or book report a little bit on what it is that
- 17:52that peer review is what number is that?
- 17:56What is the page, who's the, Arthur and all that?
- 17:59And you're going to find out very quickly that that's just
- 18:03another manipulative weapon. That the atheists uses that they
- 18:07have not even educated themselves on.
- 18:10If you want to get them. That's how you beat him in
- 18:14debate. Tell them to affirm and
- 18:18establish. This, there was a YouTuber a
- 18:21while, back named Shaka God. He's still got a YouTube
- 18:27channel. He's making videos again today
- 18:29where he rides a motorcycle and talks about God.
- 18:33But he's got this really fascinating question that really
- 18:36pisses atheist off. And the reason why pisses
- 18:40atheist off is because atheists claim that they're about troops
- 18:45and that they don't want to believe in nonsense and they
- 18:48want to that. They are their position is
- 18:50founded on facts and evidence and truth.
- 18:54So shocked of God asks us extremely popular question that
- 18:58he came up with is if you're an atheist, can you prove that
- 19:05atheism is accurate and true? The Atheist will immediately
- 19:11start babbling and bumbling and and just really blew it.
- 19:16They don't know what to do with that because when they really
- 19:19have to be skeptical and think about what it is, they've
- 19:22labeled themself, they'll realize that they are no way.
- 19:29Going along with rationality and logic and no way is their
- 19:33position based upon truth and facts.
- 19:37And they're going to at the best, they're going to say well
- 19:39that's not what my positions about it's about lacking a
- 19:43belief in deities it has nothing to do with positive or negative
- 19:47claims yet. They're the first ones who will
- 19:50five minutes later. Get on video and tell you that
- 19:53it's all about facts, evidence and Truth.
- 19:57You have to understand that a lot of these folks out here, who
- 20:00do this shit, some of them do it, just for pure entertainment,
- 20:04some of them do it because they're bored, some of them are
- 20:09just looking for attention. They just want somebody that
- 20:12will talk to them and they'll even if it means getting
- 20:15negative attention, you ever heard of those kids who act up
- 20:18and misbehave or act like a clown in a classroom because
- 20:22they want people to look at them and respond to them and
- 20:25acknowledge their existence. Distance.
- 20:28A lot of these people are really sad and that's why they do it.
- 20:32They're not trying to, you know, they would probably the same
- 20:36people would probably go into a room having to do with music and
- 20:39deliberately engage the people who are talking about their
- 20:43favorite bands and say that those bands suck, and these
- 20:46bands are better. Just so they can get everybody
- 20:49riled up and they become the center of attention.
- 20:55It's all how you look at it, folks, but those are some of my
- 20:59tips. Don't concentrate on what it is
- 21:03that the atheist claims to not believe in go after what they do
- 21:08believe in. That's where you're going to
- 21:10find the chinks in the armor. The weaknesses and also do not
- 21:15let them aggressively continue to question you over and over
- 21:19and over again. Make it clear to them.
- 21:21At the very beginning of the conversation, you can ask me
- 21:25something. And then I'm going to ask you
- 21:27something, because if you don't They don't have any boundaries,
- 21:33they have no respect for you. They're not ever going to stop.
- 21:37And when you finally, let the mask everything they want to an
- 21:40exhaust, their nonsense, they will run the moment, you start
- 21:45asking questions so you might as well cut that shit short.
- 21:49Get right through the nonsense, no mediators know nothing and
- 21:53tell them. It's going to be a conversation
- 21:56where we go back and forth. This isn't going to be you.
- 22:00You get what? What you want and this
- 22:02conversation? I want to learn about you, I
- 22:06want to make a baseline. I want to figure out where
- 22:08you're at, where the problem is, and then we'll go from there.
- 22:12You don't just come in and think this is some kind of Hitchens
- 22:16versus William Lane, Craig deal. Well, that's all I got to say.
- 22:21I hope all this is made sense to the Christians out there who are
- 22:24looking for an upper hand or find weaknesses and the atheist
- 22:30position that you can tackle. God bless.
