Latest / Brett Keane and Eve Show / Tulsi Gabbard Says Liberal Democrats Hate God
Transcript
- 0:00Tulsi Gabbard sat down with Chris Williamson on his podcast
- 0:03Modern Wisdom, and the clip I'm about to show you.
- 0:05She exposes exactly why the current Democratic Party hates
- 0:10God and those who believe in God.
- 0:14I've been saying this over and over and over again, but those
- 0:18of us who believe in God and put God first, not the state.
- 0:22Answer to God and not the state. And this makes us difficult to
- 0:27control. Tyrants throughout history have
- 0:30hated God and the devoutly religious.
- 0:34Why do you think that is? Why do you think the Soviet
- 0:37Union banned public religious practice or preaching?
- 0:41Check this out, and then pay close attention to what Tulsi
- 0:46says here at the end of this clip.
- 0:47Certainly an interesting angle, I think, to the political
- 0:51discourse at the moment is the strained relationship that
- 0:55people on the left have with God and faith, and it's almost
- 0:59antagonistic relationship with religion and certain religions.
- 1:05What do you make of that? How do you?
- 1:07In the last Democratic convention that was held,
- 1:09obviously it was held virtually during the whole COVID thing,
- 1:13but even saying the Pledge of Allegiance, they made a big show
- 1:18of eliminating saying one nation.
- 1:22Awkward silence refused to say under God.
- 1:25Didn't. Know that even as they said the
- 1:27Pledge of Allegiance over Zoom. So, you know, seeing, seeing how
- 1:36today's Democratic Party is, you know, they, they are targeting
- 1:40Catholics and Christians primarily trying to eliminate
- 1:46like God, really any mention of God from, from every facet of
- 1:50public life. You had Kamala Harris when she
- 1:53was a senator on the Judiciary Committee, going after and
- 1:57attacking and ultimately opposing nominee for a judgeship
- 2:02specifically because he was an observant and devout Catholic
- 2:06and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
- 2:08They did the same thing with Amy Coney Barrett, who's now in the
- 2:11Supreme Court with now since passed away.
- 2:15But Senator Dianne Feinstein warned against her when she went
- 2:19for confirmation before the same Judiciary Committee, saying, you
- 2:22know, I'm concerned the dogma lives loudly within you.
- 2:25All of these things going against our Constitution, which
- 2:28says there shall be no religious test to serve in any public
- 2:31office, period. Where's this come from?
- 2:35Is this a contamination zone from trying to maybe upend some
- 2:41of the history of the United States?
- 2:44Is it that, you know, the sort of love of country and
- 2:47patriotism is right coded and so is maybe religious participation
- 2:53right coded? And if we're not that, then it
- 2:56means that we're the like I I don't understand, given that
- 2:59there's so many Americans who are religious Christian, it just
- 3:04seems like you're shooting yourself in the foot and the
- 3:06face. Why?
- 3:07Why would you lot? Of a lot of the things that
- 3:09they're pushing fall into that category because because they
- 3:13don't make sense and and they're so insanely radical that that
- 3:21there are very negative consequences to those policies
- 3:24just at a basic human level. We talked about some of them
- 3:26already, You know, ultimately at its heart, and again, I, I don't
- 3:31find any logic or rationale to the actual reasonings that
- 3:34they're giving. But at its heart, when you have
- 3:37a party that is controlled by people who don't believe in
- 3:42objective truth, that there are, for example, that there are
- 3:46biological differences between men and women, that they want to
- 3:50be the authority that tells us what is true and what is not
- 3:54true. They want to be the authority
- 3:57that tells us what is acceptable information, what is not, you
- 4:01know, misinformation, disinformation, hate speech,
- 4:04violence, speech, acceptable speech, whatever the case may
- 4:07be. They, they see themselves as
- 4:11that authority and they recognize that those who believe
- 4:14in a higher power, whatever that may be, are not going to buy
- 4:20into them being that higher power or that authority and, and
- 4:27the ultimate, you know, influencer that people should be
- 4:30concerned with. And so at its core, that's that
- 4:34is where this is coming from. It comes back to power and them
- 4:38seeing those who believe in God or who are following their
- 4:41particular spiritual path or faith as not being willing to
- 4:46bend the knee to the power of the Democrat elite and the the
- 4:50positions that they hold in our government.
