  discourse at the moment is the strained relationship that

  people on the left have with God and faith, and it's almost

  antagonistic relationship with religion and certain religions.

  In the last Democratic convention that was held,

  obviously it was held virtually during the whole COVID thing,

  but even saying the Pledge of Allegiance, they made a big show

  of eliminating saying one nation.

  Awkward silence refused to say under God.

  Didn't. Know that even as they said the
• 1:27
  Pledge of Allegiance over Zoom. So, you know, seeing, seeing how
• 1:36
  today's Democratic Party is, you know, they, they are targeting
• 1:40
  Catholics and Christians primarily trying to eliminate
• 1:46
  like God, really any mention of God from, from every facet of
• 1:50
  public life. You had Kamala Harris when she
• 1:53
  was a senator on the Judiciary Committee, going after and
• 1:57
  attacking and ultimately opposing nominee for a judgeship
• 2:02
  specifically because he was an observant and devout Catholic
• 2:06
  and a member of the Knights of Columbus.

  They did the same thing with Amy Coney Barrett, who's now in the
• 2:11
  Supreme Court with now since passed away.

  But Senator Dianne Feinstein warned against her when she went
• 2:19
  for confirmation before the same Judiciary Committee, saying, you
• 2:22
  know, I'm concerned the dogma lives loudly within you.

  All of these things going against our Constitution, which
• 2:28
  says there shall be no religious test to serve in any public
• 2:31
  office, period. Where's this come from?
• 2:35
  Is this a contamination zone from trying to maybe upend some
• 2:41
  of the history of the United States?

  Is it that, you know, the sort of love of country and
• 2:47
  patriotism is right coded and so is maybe religious participation
• 2:53
  right coded? And if we're not that, then it
• 2:56
  means that we're the like I I don't understand, given that
• 2:59
  there's so many Americans who are religious Christian, it just
• 3:04
  seems like you're shooting yourself in the foot and the
• 3:06
  face. Why?

  Why would you lot? Of a lot of the things that
• 3:09
  they're pushing fall into that category because because they
• 3:13
  don't make sense and and they're so insanely radical that that
• 3:21
  there are very negative consequences to those policies
• 3:24
  just at a basic human level. We talked about some of them
• 3:26
  already, You know, ultimately at its heart, and again, I, I don't
• 3:31
  find any logic or rationale to the actual reasonings that
• 3:34
  they're giving. But at its heart, when you have
• 3:37
  a party that is controlled by people who don't believe in
• 3:42
  objective truth, that there are, for example, that there are
• 3:46
  biological differences between men and women, that they want to
• 3:50
  be the authority that tells us what is true and what is not
• 3:54
  true. They want to be the authority
• 3:57
  that tells us what is acceptable information, what is not, you
• 4:01
  know, misinformation, disinformation, hate speech,
• 4:04
  violence, speech, acceptable speech, whatever the case may
• 4:07
  be. They, they see themselves as
• 4:11
  that authority and they recognize that those who believe
• 4:14
  in a higher power, whatever that may be, are not going to buy
• 4:20
  into them being that higher power or that authority and, and
• 4:27
  the ultimate, you know, influencer that people should be
• 4:30
  concerned with. And so at its core, that's that
• 4:34
  is where this is coming from. It comes back to power and them
• 4:38
  seeing those who believe in God or who are following their
• 4:41
  particular spiritual path or faith as not being willing to
• 4:46
  bend the knee to the power of the Democrat elite and the the
• 4:50
  positions that they hold in our government.
