- 2:16Speaker 2: y'all ship today though. What's something my brother you been?
- 2:18Speaker 2: I've been great, man. What's been going on?

- 2:38Speaker 2: take you to the gorilla. I don't think. God, that
- 2:40Speaker 2: ain't really my thing? Why not? I mean I like
- 2:43Speaker 2: to watch it, but I don't have to be there.
- 2:47Speaker 2: I don't speak gorilla. I don't know what's been going
- 2:50Speaker 2: on in the community. Fair animals. No, it's not even
- 2:53Speaker 2: a fear.
- 2:53Speaker 3: It's more of a respect there, like when animals go
- 2:57Speaker 3: off and they be animals and they're doing what animals
- 3:00Speaker 3: do when ain't nobody around.
- 3:02Speaker 2: You gotta respect it because you never know.
- 3:04Speaker 3: They live in a community and you don't know what
- 3:07Speaker 3: happened on your way up there, what they might have been,
- 3:10Speaker 3: Like somebody could have got an argument.
- 3:11Speaker 2: Yeah, like the next time the humans come. You had
- 3:16Speaker 2: pets growing up. Dog, Yeah, but not no gorilla.
- 3:22Speaker 3: That wasn't the best transit animals, right, yeah, dogs, they
- 3:29Speaker 3: didn't even Yeah.
- 3:31Speaker 1: I think that the fact that they're in their natural
- 3:34Speaker 1: habitat helps. And where they teach you to be super submissive,
- 3:40Speaker 1: I can't learn that fast.
- 3:45Speaker 3: I don't even like how that came up. They teach
- 3:47Speaker 3: you to be submissive. I'm not being submissive, so that
- 3:51Speaker 3: that could be a problem. Yeah, I don't want to
- 3:52Speaker 3: be submissive because I'm telling you. I'm not gonna wait
- 3:56Speaker 3: to react. I gotta leave if I feel like and
- 4:00Speaker 3: he getting it a little bit too aggressive.
- 4:02Speaker 1: I'm out and I'm waiting on the group. They tell
- 4:04Speaker 1: you don't run, they tell you just kneel and don't run.
- 4:07Speaker 1: Do you think that that works? Be honest, I think so.
- 4:11Speaker 1: I've seen it work. Really, you think you can out
- 4:13Speaker 1: run a gorilla?
- 4:14Speaker 2: No chance. I don't think I can album run any
- 4:18Speaker 2: wow animal.
- 4:19Speaker 4: There's no point you gotta it's full.
- 4:22Speaker 2: Be like y'all. I don't want this problem.
- 4:24Speaker 3: You think Life's why we need people like y'all, people
- 4:26Speaker 3: who like y'all, who can go out there and then
- 4:29Speaker 3: get the footage.
- 4:30Speaker 2: Ye, then take it back to the studio.
- 4:32Speaker 3: Unlet some cool older white man do the boys over
- 4:35Speaker 3: with that ship in HD.
- 4:37Speaker 2: I'm a consumer now we should You should do the
- 4:39Speaker 2: voice over. I will.
- 4:41Speaker 3: That should be fun as long as I don't have
- 4:42Speaker 3: to do nothing else, like go out there. What about
- 4:46Speaker 3: a lion? Would you do that?
- 4:48Speaker 2: No? Nothing? Is it any drive seap but nothing, nothing nothing.
- 4:53Speaker 2: We got a new show, yeah, call us in a while.
- 4:56Speaker 3: No, that's not you literally ain't have no footage all
- 5:01Speaker 3: us in a while. I take my chances, and I'd
- 5:04Speaker 3: rather go to the hood, take my chances in Atlanta,
- 5:06Speaker 3: Like yeah, work with some hard headed strippers or something.
- 5:12Speaker 3: How the stripper economy doing these days, I don't know.
- 5:15Speaker 3: I haven't been around in a while. Yeah, a lot
- 5:18Speaker 3: of the strippers who were like around when I was around,
- 5:21Speaker 3: I see them in the city now and they're doing
- 5:24Speaker 3: great things.
- 5:25Speaker 2: They're selling houses and real estate.
- 5:27Speaker 4: We gotta talk about we never really talked about that
- 5:29Speaker 4: whole real estate agent content. It dwarfed between the two
- 5:34Speaker 4: worlds dwarfed at some point.
- 5:35Speaker 2: What yeah was that?
- 5:36Speaker 4: Like I just sit on Instagram and all of every
- 5:39Speaker 4: it's like everybody's selling homes, Like like.
- 5:41Speaker 2: Yeah, that's a great transition for.
- 5:46Speaker 3: Retired dances because they still got the body and then
- 5:50Speaker 3: once they put some real clothes on, they still as fins.
- 5:54Speaker 3: They could sell some ship. Yeah, but they working like
- 5:57Speaker 3: they great sells them because they've been selling answers talked,
- 6:02Speaker 3: they've been selling their lifestyle. They're really not the man.
- 6:05Speaker 3: Those are the women who have mastered the art.
- 6:07Speaker 2: They selling you the dream.
- 6:08Speaker 1: So they went from selling you the dream to selling
- 6:11Speaker 1: you the dream.
- 6:12Speaker 3: Yeah, they sell They went from selling you their dreams
- 6:16Speaker 3: to selling you yours.
- 6:18Speaker 2: It makes sense there. We have it all right, we
- 6:21Speaker 2: got we got to let right there.
- 6:25Speaker 3: But hey, I got two of my homeboys and hear
- 6:27Speaker 3: it between she going and my boys shut Nobody got
- 6:33Speaker 3: more outfits than these dudes.
- 6:35Speaker 2: Bro, what's up, my boy? How are you living? Man?
- 6:38Speaker 2: Good to see you. Bro?
- 6:40Speaker 3: Oh man, she go bean no, no white pressure and
- 6:45Speaker 3: she go bean outfit king.
- 6:47Speaker 1: Let's do the trip check before we do anything. If
- 6:50Speaker 1: it's so separately, yeah a little bit.
- 6:52Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, this is money, man, this is money.
- 6:54Speaker 5: And I got the ki now the kicks that the
- 6:57Speaker 5: outfit is monitor Kicks, Yeah.
- 7:00Speaker 3: Forget them, and the Rosie. The president is a yeah
- 7:07Speaker 3: yeah yeah, chalker face yeah.
- 7:09Speaker 5: Yeah, chocolate face one yeah yeah yeah.
- 7:11Speaker 2: Man, he's been investment has been going wealthy. Yeah yeah
- 7:14Speaker 2: yeah yeah. I listened to the yard.
- 7:17Speaker 5: I listened to y'all them conversations we was having when
- 7:19Speaker 5: he couldn't afford none of this stuff.
- 7:21Speaker 2: Yeah, less than these guys. Know what they talk about.
- 7:23Speaker 5: I just saw you in China, man, getting your stuff
- 7:26Speaker 5: from direct from sauce man.
- 7:27Speaker 2: What was that like? Man?
- 7:28Speaker 4: It was crazy because you know, there's so many misconceptions
- 7:31Speaker 4: about China.
- 7:32Speaker 3: Okay, that's you go out to China. Comedy in China.
- 7:34Speaker 3: Should we live in the United States?
- 7:42Speaker 2: Yo, Look what's up with you? Man? Like, you don't
- 7:43Speaker 2: want to go to Africa? I didn't. Never say no
- 7:45Speaker 2: he wanted to go to I said I didn't want
- 7:47Speaker 2: to go on so far? Okay I did too.
- 7:50Speaker 5: Okay, he got your baby guerrilla. Oh yeah, yeah I
- 7:53Speaker 5: went in South Africa. Oh yeah, yeah, I went on
- 7:56Speaker 5: want to South Africa?
- 7:56Speaker 2: Enjoyed it? Yeah it was dope, man.
- 7:58Speaker 5: He was on the four wheelers and you know, animals
- 8:00Speaker 5: was just out free and everything.
- 8:01Speaker 2: Yeah, it was. They walked. Oh yeah, yeah.
- 8:04Speaker 3: We did a track gorilla truck. We ran a track.
- 8:07Speaker 3: No track, you gotta like go into the jungle and
- 8:11Speaker 3: oh nah yeah you was tripping.
- 8:12Speaker 2: Yeahah we were.
- 8:14Speaker 1: As we were in it, I realized this probably isn't
- 8:17Speaker 1: the best idea. The night before I was feeling a
- 8:19Speaker 1: little angst. Then when we started doing it, about fifty minutes, saying,
- 8:23Speaker 1: I'm like, Yo, were really in the mountains and I'm
- 8:27Speaker 1: getting exhausted, and if we don't see something very soon,
- 8:29Speaker 1: I'm turning around. And then a couple more minutes we
- 8:32Speaker 1: saw a silver Baguerilla with his family.
- 8:33Speaker 2: Yeah, was it one hundred of yall?
- 8:35Speaker 3: It was.
- 8:38Speaker 2: I'm saying, you know, they were trying.
- 8:40Speaker 5: To get a hundred niggas to fight a gorilla that
- 8:42Speaker 5: I thought they were trying to make y'all.
- 8:43Speaker 2: The ones to do it. It was the little.
- 8:45Speaker 3: African dude from the me Okay, I can't understand nothing nature. Yes, yes,
- 8:57Speaker 3: there's twelve of us and one of them.
- 9:00Speaker 2: I had the weapon, okay. Yeah, the guy had the rifle.
- 9:02Speaker 2: You got the rightfle just the case things went left,
- 9:04Speaker 2: just in case. Just yeah. But that was you know,
- 9:08Speaker 2: the Safari I did was dope, though. Man. Just to
- 9:10Speaker 2: be able to have that experience out there was fun. Man.
- 9:13Speaker 5: I mean, I've been trying to get this dude to
- 9:14Speaker 5: go to Africa for the longest time. Yeah, he got
- 9:17Speaker 5: to go to Ghana first.
- 9:18Speaker 2: I go to that.
- 9:19Speaker 3: Yeah, said that going on. No, so far we're gonna
- 9:22Speaker 3: bring you to Ghana. You've been to.
- 9:23Speaker 2: Ghana yeah twice? Yeah, yeah, twice.
- 9:26Speaker 5: I went for the first time in twenty twenty three,
- 9:29Speaker 5: going into twenty twenty yeah, going into twenty twenty two,
- 9:32Speaker 5: going into twenty twenty three, because I you know, I
- 9:34Speaker 5: lost my mom in twenty twenty one, and I realized
- 9:37Speaker 5: I hadn't started a grieving process yet, so I just
- 9:39Speaker 5: went didn't tell nobody. I mean, I told this nigga
- 9:42Speaker 5: I was going, but I just went by myself, and
- 9:45Speaker 5: you know what I mean, one of the best times,
- 9:47Speaker 5: the most peace I ever had. Man and I went
- 9:49Speaker 5: back the next year. And the first year I went
- 9:51Speaker 5: was when a chance the Rapid did that concert out there, okay,
- 9:55Speaker 5: by doing all of them, I went to that. And
- 9:58Speaker 5: then the next year I just went in and got
- 10:00Speaker 5: to actually explore the city, you know what I mean.
- 10:01Speaker 2: Charlemagne put me on with the dudes.
- 10:03Speaker 5: That was a big real estate guys out there, so
- 10:06Speaker 5: you know what I mean, I got into some of that.
- 10:07Speaker 2: So it was dope. I had a good time, was perfect,
- 10:09Speaker 2: and we don't got to tell you about it.
- 10:11Speaker 5: Yeah, oh yeah, yeah, cry yeah cry yes sir, Yes.
- 10:15Speaker 2: What made you just want to go out there like
- 10:17Speaker 2: for the grieving process?
- 10:18Speaker 5: Like I just wanted to go somewhere where I knew that,
- 10:21Speaker 5: you know, I mean, I never been I've been to
- 10:23Speaker 5: Egypt before, but I had never been to Africa, like
- 10:26Speaker 5: real Africa.
- 10:27Speaker 2: I say, Egypt is gentrified Africa. Somewhere where you can
- 10:30Speaker 2: cry and be ugly. You know what I'm saying. He
- 10:34Speaker 2: is so ugly.
- 10:35Speaker 5: Exactly, So that was that was the point and ugly
- 10:39Speaker 5: crack ugly not be judged. Yeah, so you know that
- 10:43Speaker 5: was the reason, the biggest reason, just going somewhere where
- 10:46Speaker 5: you know, I never been before. I didn't know anything
- 10:48Speaker 5: and know anybody, and I just had time to just
- 10:50Speaker 5: gather my thoughts. And that was one of the best
- 10:51Speaker 5: decisons I ever made.
- 10:53Speaker 2: Yeah, that's fire. So all right, let's talk about this.
- 10:57Speaker 2: Then you're talking about traveling.
- 10:59Speaker 4: You guys got to talk on That's definitely what makes
- 11:02Speaker 4: you guys want to keep going out on the road
- 11:04Speaker 4: because I feel like y'all, y'all travel probably more than
- 11:06Speaker 4: anybody I've seen. Like y'all, y'all on the road all
- 11:09Speaker 4: the time, Like you don't ever get burnt out by that,
- 11:11Speaker 4: Like what's the motivation?
- 11:13Speaker 2: Still funny? You never like, all right, I'm over.
- 11:16Speaker 3: This, No, because all the experiences is still new. Even
- 11:19Speaker 3: if we've been to the place one hundred times, it's
- 11:23Speaker 3: never like.
- 11:23Speaker 2: The last time.
- 11:25Speaker 5: Yeah, all the way and then you know, I know,
- 11:28Speaker 5: for us, you know, especially coming to New York, New
- 11:31Speaker 5: York is where it started for us as far as
- 11:33Speaker 5: getting the notoriety and getting the name. And you know,
- 11:35Speaker 5: I tell people all the time like, there's no way
- 11:38Speaker 5: I could ever complain about what I would be asking
- 11:40Speaker 5: God for if I didn't have it, you know what
- 11:42Speaker 5: I mean, If we weren't moving around as much as
- 11:44Speaker 5: we move around and getting these shows and going to
- 11:47Speaker 5: these cities, this is what would be what you would
- 11:49Speaker 5: be working towards. So it's a blessing. So every time
- 11:52Speaker 5: we get to do it, that just means that these
- 11:53Speaker 5: people who have seen us three or four times, you
- 11:56Speaker 5: know what I mean, seeing us together, seeing us individually,
- 11:58Speaker 5: they still love us enough.
- 12:00Speaker 2: To want to come see us again.
- 12:01Speaker 5: So that means that the product that we're giving is
- 12:03Speaker 5: something that motivates us to keep wanting to push because
- 12:06Speaker 5: that means that we're doing something that's really never been
- 12:08Speaker 5: done before.
- 12:09Speaker 3: That's the best part. When they give you the updates
- 12:11Speaker 3: of the last person that they've seen. You know, I
- 12:15Speaker 3: called Chico and then we went to DC and December.
- 12:19Speaker 3: Can'ty y'all show down? He'll see you?
- 12:23Speaker 2: Yeah, all the way.
- 12:24Speaker 5: Every time I just was in Columbus, Ohio, dude pulled
- 12:27Speaker 5: up a picture of men this nigga from a show
- 12:29Speaker 5: from eight years ago. He was like, you remember this? Yeah,
- 12:32Speaker 5: you know what.
- 12:32Speaker 3: I think one of the dopest pictures though, was that
- 12:34Speaker 3: that picture you took of that girl van Van when
- 12:37Speaker 3: she was a Yeah.
- 12:39Speaker 5: I seen him in the airport going to the Assence Festival.
- 12:41Speaker 5: I seen him in the airport. We took another picture
- 12:43Speaker 5: of her and her family with the airport man. She
- 12:46Speaker 5: she's doing it big, doing an extra.
- 12:48Speaker 4: Big and y'all should just like real improv. Yeah, Like
- 12:52Speaker 4: that's hard too, Like like we got to market it
- 12:54Speaker 4: is that.
- 12:55Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't think we ever tell no.
- 12:58Speaker 4: Like talk about that because people people don't fully appreciate
- 13:01Speaker 4: unless you see the show. Like I saw the show,
- 13:02Speaker 4: so I'm like, oh no, this is different, Like y'all
- 13:05Speaker 4: just oh, you got the blue shirt on?
- 13:07Speaker 3: Like I mean, like, it's that's difficult. It's the Hibachi
- 13:10Speaker 3: of comedy. Man, We're cooking it up right there in
- 13:12Speaker 3: front of you. And then when we post clips from
- 13:14Speaker 3: the show, people were like, I can't believe y'all be
- 13:17Speaker 3: messing with them people. Look, y'all is just bullying. Y'all
- 13:19Speaker 3: keep picking on people, like everybody that has ever made
- 13:22Speaker 3: it into a clip from us talking about them and
- 13:25Speaker 3: the show definitely came.
- 13:27Speaker 2: And hollered at us after After the show, then they'd
- 13:29Speaker 2: be like, bro, y'all know y'all had to do. I
- 13:32Speaker 2: mean we didn't have people.
- 13:33Speaker 5: I'm missing limbs and all types of stuff. I had
- 13:37Speaker 5: a lady take her leg off and had me sign it.
- 13:39Speaker 3: One time, somebody took their leg off and just threw
- 13:42Speaker 3: it on stage.
- 13:43Speaker 2: Like with that picture we just posted, it's a fake.
- 13:46Speaker 2: We don't know. We were just like, all right, man,
- 13:48Speaker 2: let's get the picture.
- 13:48Speaker 3: Then we usually turn around so the crowd is in
- 13:51Speaker 3: the back, but somehow this leg ended up on stage.
- 13:54Speaker 2: I was like, she all up, b somebody took their
- 13:57Speaker 2: leg off the picture.
- 14:00Speaker 5: So and then the thing is that's what makes it
- 14:02Speaker 5: fun like for people because when you come, it's a
- 14:05Speaker 5: space where you can nobody's off limits. We talk about
- 14:09Speaker 5: each other, we talk about the crowd, we talk about security,
- 14:12Speaker 5: we talk about whatever's going on. It's all improvisational, so
- 14:15Speaker 5: you know you're getting an experience that's catered to the
- 14:18Speaker 5: people that are there. And even though we've been to
- 14:21Speaker 5: a lot of these cities before. That's why we call
- 14:23Speaker 5: them it to spend the block because we get to
- 14:25Speaker 5: come back and it's going to be a new show.
- 14:27Speaker 5: You've never seen the same show twice because we always
- 14:30Speaker 5: do it just as it happens. And that's the beauty
- 14:33Speaker 5: of us being able to work with each other.
- 14:35Speaker 2: And it's a challenge to try to try to make
- 14:37Speaker 2: something happen. You gee know what I'm saying. What they've
- 14:40Speaker 2: given us.
- 14:41Speaker 3: We got all these people in here, what the energy like,
- 14:43Speaker 3: and it's just to start pulling little elements and once
- 14:46Speaker 3: you get a whole arena of people in on, the
- 14:49Speaker 3: joke is crazy.
- 14:52Speaker 1: I think the part that you'll don't highlight as well
- 14:54Speaker 1: is that your independent media, right, like you talk about
- 14:57Speaker 1: like the improv, which is incredible, were literally having a
- 14:59Speaker 1: conversation then y'all on stage.
- 15:01Speaker 2: Like how did that just happen?
- 15:02Speaker 1: But y'all doing we know the team, like y'all independent media,
- 15:05Speaker 1: you're doing this for ten years. Talk about that and
- 15:08Speaker 1: the growing pains and learned lessons of starting ten years
- 15:12Speaker 1: ago as a company to where y'all at now. It's
- 15:17Speaker 1: it's a lot of trialing era just trying to figure
- 15:20Speaker 1: out little formulas of like okay, this works over here
- 15:23Speaker 1: when we once we once we.
- 15:25Speaker 2: Get past the Lab show, like we do the Lab show.
- 15:28Speaker 3: Now we we recorded all this footage and all this backstage.
- 15:31Speaker 3: Now we got to put it together cause like people
- 15:34Speaker 3: always like we are do a special, were dropping us
- 15:37Speaker 3: special every every week, literally independent every week, every week
- 15:43Speaker 3: literally for five six years straight, every week.
- 15:47Speaker 5: And you know, we come from the wild and out space,
- 15:51Speaker 5: so we got to see it from the corporate side first,
- 15:54Speaker 5: So we got to see all of the things that
- 15:56Speaker 5: we you know, could learn from and the things that
- 15:58Speaker 5: we didn't like on that side of the game.
- 16:00Speaker 2: So we knew what to exclude, and that kind of.
- 16:03Speaker 5: Made it a little bit easier to keep pushing because
- 16:05Speaker 5: if you know what they exclude, then you know how
- 16:07Speaker 5: to avoid a lot of the pitfalls that caused the
- 16:09Speaker 5: problems amongst you know, people who try to do it
- 16:12Speaker 5: themselves and you know, not reach out to the powers
- 16:16Speaker 5: that be for help. So I think that's one of
- 16:18Speaker 5: the things that helped us push is that we one
- 16:21Speaker 5: with fans of each other, you know what I mean,
- 16:23Speaker 5: And too we understand the game from a point of
- 16:25Speaker 5: being employees versus you know, being in charge of everything
- 16:30Speaker 5: and happening and.
- 16:30Speaker 2: It's way better than being an employee.
- 16:33Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, you know what I'm saying, just having
- 16:35Speaker 3: the control to be like, yeah, having it, you know
- 16:39Speaker 3: what I mean. Yeah, it's way better. Like I hate
- 16:45Speaker 3: being an employee.
- 16:46Speaker 4: Well, talking about that, because you guys, okay, you've built
- 16:50Speaker 4: the umbrella eighty five south. Now you've got all the talent.
- 16:53Speaker 4: I don't want to say underneath, but in the fold
- 16:54Speaker 4: of eighty five. It's under the umbrella. But we don't
- 16:57Speaker 4: We're not nobody's boss, nobody's So how does that work?
- 16:59Speaker 4: Think you got poor minds? You got this? We give that.
- 17:02Speaker 3: We extend the same freedom to everybody who works with us,
- 17:07Speaker 3: because we don't want we don't want nobody working for
- 17:10Speaker 3: us or like under us. It's like, hey man, you
- 17:12Speaker 3: have to get this. Like the whole point is like
- 17:15Speaker 3: to have a form of ownership.
- 17:17Speaker 4: So you provide the platform and then it's like you
- 17:19Speaker 4: got you gotta do what you can do with it.
- 17:21Speaker 4: We're not gonna hold your hand like an independent recognition.
- 17:24Speaker 3: We will we will hold your hand, but you gotta
- 17:28Speaker 3: keep in mind, if we're gonna hold your hand and
- 17:30Speaker 3: you drop something, you didn't have a hand open. You
- 17:32Speaker 3: could have had your own hand now, so it's like
- 17:35Speaker 3: we don't have to hold hands for the security.
- 17:37Speaker 2: It's like, hey, bro, standing right here by me, and
- 17:39Speaker 2: it's like.
- 17:40Speaker 3: If it worked for you, if it worked for y'all,
- 17:42Speaker 3: all we can do is show you what's been working
- 17:44Speaker 3: for us and tell you the things that did work,
- 17:47Speaker 3: what didn't work. Hey, this is where y'all benefit us.
- 17:51Speaker 3: This is where we could benefit y'all, because it's not
- 17:54Speaker 3: it's not like we're generating a bunch of money off
- 17:58Speaker 3: of these other platforms. Is that we're trying to make
- 18:02Speaker 3: one big platform. You get what I'm saying.
- 18:04Speaker 5: I mean the in house just conglomerate, if you will,
- 18:07Speaker 5: of people who can just you know, have a space
- 18:09Speaker 5: where you can come in and you know, do something
- 18:12Speaker 5: like this and not have to wait on, you know,
- 18:15Speaker 5: the approval of three four other people to be able
- 18:18Speaker 5: to get the work done, you know, because that's really
- 18:21Speaker 5: what it's about, is the content game.
- 18:23Speaker 2: Now.
- 18:23Speaker 5: It's just about constantly producing, y'all understand that, and being
- 18:27Speaker 5: able to consistently put out or consistently record, to have
- 18:30Speaker 5: something to put out, and just having a space to
- 18:32Speaker 5: be able to provide not just our people, but just
- 18:36Speaker 5: in general, you know, to have a space where people
- 18:38Speaker 5: can come in that's safe, that you ain't got to
- 18:39Speaker 5: worry about nothing, that's you know, giving out quality production great,
- 18:44Speaker 5: you know content, you know what I'm saying. When people
- 18:47Speaker 5: see it, they know that it's of quality. That's what
- 18:49Speaker 5: it's really about. So being able to provide that, you
- 18:51Speaker 5: don't have to be the boss to do that. You
- 18:53Speaker 5: just got to be reliable.
- 18:55Speaker 3: And the like, I feel like the civil lining of
- 18:58Speaker 3: it is that all the people that's around us, they
- 19:01Speaker 3: see us going hard every day, whether it be an
- 19:05Speaker 3: eighty five South show or promoting our own show or
- 19:09Speaker 3: working at other productions and networks and stuff like that.
- 19:13Speaker 3: It's like they get to be around us to see,
- 19:16Speaker 3: hey man, these dudes, they grind hard, and that's why
- 19:19Speaker 3: they get what they get. The moment that you not
- 19:22Speaker 3: grinding and that's when everything stopped and then you got
- 19:25Speaker 3: to get that momentum back up to get back.
- 19:27Speaker 2: In grand mode.
- 19:29Speaker 3: So that's why I would like to stay on the
- 19:30Speaker 3: road or work all year and then we got like
- 19:33Speaker 3: a buffet of things that we do because every day
- 19:36Speaker 3: we're not waking up doing the same thing.
- 19:38Speaker 2: It's not just.
- 19:40Speaker 3: Pull up at a city, be here for three, four
- 19:42Speaker 3: or five days, sell out the comedy club, then just
- 19:46Speaker 3: go home.
- 19:46Speaker 4: We talk about that because people are you're a comedian,
- 19:48Speaker 4: so people might not know how hard you actually work.
- 19:51Speaker 2: Right, Breg got like forty fifty jos.
- 19:53Speaker 4: You do the podcast every single week you do. You're
- 19:56Speaker 4: on the road with eighty five South. Y'all all got
- 19:58Speaker 4: the individual uh so, like talk about.
- 20:02Speaker 3: Even in between that, it's still were still auditioning for
- 20:06Speaker 3: TV shows, movies, sending in voice over work, shooting ads
- 20:11Speaker 3: and commercials, father being fathers, then you have you know,
- 20:17Speaker 3: it's so many little opportunities that fall in between that
- 20:21Speaker 3: and then being the owners of a business and having
- 20:24Speaker 3: to take meetings and set schedules and make sure everybody
- 20:27Speaker 3: else good, pay taxes, book hotels and pay taxes and
- 20:32Speaker 3: hedge flights and make sure you know travel and sprinters
- 20:36Speaker 3: and rental cars. It's it's so much other stuff that
- 20:40Speaker 3: goes on off stage. Like the show part is the
- 20:43Speaker 3: easiest part.
- 20:44Speaker 5: That's what you know, that's what you that's the part
- 20:46Speaker 5: that you get to and you know you can do
- 20:48Speaker 5: that with your eyes closed. That's the fun stuff, you know,
- 20:50Speaker 5: traveling like this past weekend, my photographer that I had
- 20:55Speaker 5: working for me. They was they had her standing this
- 20:57Speaker 5: comedy condo and the pad broke on the door and
- 21:00Speaker 5: she had all her stuff was locked in the place
- 21:02Speaker 5: and we couldn't get in. So I had to find
- 21:05Speaker 5: her room and make sure she was straight. Like all
- 21:07Speaker 5: of those type of things on you when you, you know,
- 21:09Speaker 5: are the person that's in charge of what's going on.
- 21:12Speaker 5: So those are the things that you got to make
- 21:13Speaker 5: sure in order across the board, because if your business
- 21:18Speaker 5: isn't in order, then you know, you can't just show
- 21:20Speaker 5: up and say head, you know, take this and we
- 21:22Speaker 5: got you.
- 21:22Speaker 2: And that's what we watched.
- 21:23Speaker 4: When did y'all learn it? Like coming up? How did that?
- 21:27Speaker 4: You learn a lot from Nick? Like how'd you learn
- 21:29Speaker 4: how to actually run a business?
- 21:31Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 21:32Speaker 3: Because like Nick is an amazing dude. I don't think
- 21:36Speaker 3: you get enough credit. Like I see this dude and
- 21:39Speaker 3: you know he is worth a crazy amount of bread.
- 21:42Speaker 3: But he'll literally get in there and do the grammy
- 21:45Speaker 3: work with you. Yeah, I mean he'd be there early. Yeah,
- 21:48Speaker 3: he'll stay late, he will make he worked like he
- 21:51Speaker 3: don't have it.
- 21:52Speaker 5: Yeah, And that's literally I was just telling somebody that
- 21:55Speaker 5: the other day when I was talking to the photography
- 21:59Speaker 5: walk rounding Aroun trying to find her room. She was
- 22:01Speaker 5: telling me, you know how she had been on tour
- 22:03Speaker 5: on the tour bus and they didn't have any a
- 22:06Speaker 5: C on the tour bus. And I was like, man,
- 22:07Speaker 5: that first wilding out tour we did. We were taking
- 22:10Speaker 5: showers at the Salvation Army and the arena and I
- 22:14Speaker 5: and he was right in there with us. And then
- 22:17Speaker 5: you know, you know, well he didn't have to be
- 22:19Speaker 5: in the show. Yeah, he wasn't in the shower. Yeah.
- 22:27Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 22:28Speaker 3: The truth though, the truth is that y'all the showers
- 22:32Speaker 3: in the in the.
- 22:35Speaker 5: Shower the Salvation was in the Salvation Army and the
- 22:40Speaker 5: jail showers. Nigga, I ain't nigga shower heads. And yeah, but.
- 22:47Speaker 3: We went in the like we did this ship man,
- 22:51Speaker 3: you game seven, You y'all no give us three soap like.
- 23:02Speaker 5: Man, but ship that you learn a lot from just
- 23:05Speaker 5: and then watching everything that he had went through on
- 23:07Speaker 5: the corporate side too, Yeah, and just knowing that no
- 23:10Speaker 5: matter where you are in the in the game, you
- 23:13Speaker 5: always got to go through something. Nobody's above the bullshit.
- 23:16Speaker 3: And this is the thing about it when it works,
- 23:20Speaker 3: you look like a genius.
- 23:21Speaker 2: That's the fact.
- 23:22Speaker 4: When it don't work, don't know it, and everybody wants credit.
- 23:25Speaker 4: Somebody said success has a thousand fathers. Failure is a
- 23:30Speaker 4: basketd chant like nobody wants to take responsibility for the failure.
- 23:33Speaker 2: Everybody wants to take respit.
- 23:36Speaker 5: I heard something that was even more, you know, in
- 23:39Speaker 5: line with that. It said, when you, you know, are
- 23:42Speaker 5: in a certain position, or when you're in the position
- 23:44Speaker 5: of success, your job is to do the impossible for
- 23:46Speaker 5: the ungrateful.
- 23:48Speaker 2: Well, my brother told.
- 23:49Speaker 3: Me the other day, all ideas is all thoughts ain't ideas.
- 23:53Speaker 2: Yeah, that's true, right, that's very true. That's hard. You
- 24:01Speaker 2: gotta do that im possible for Yeah, that's a A.
- 24:04Speaker 5: Good run is better than a bad stand, you know
- 24:06Speaker 5: what I'm saying.
- 24:07Speaker 2: So are we rolling? Yeah, you know.
- 24:10Speaker 5: And it's like but at this point, you know, even
- 24:13Speaker 5: with this tour, like with the people were working with
- 24:15Speaker 5: Blake and and did he like Blake?
- 24:18Speaker 2: Then up we currently he's not in the studio, Okay,
- 24:27Speaker 2: trying to I thought, I didn't know. I'm not gonna
- 24:29Speaker 2: disrespe sure, No, listen, what.
- 24:32Speaker 3: Your name name, Sean, It ain't Sean John, what's the same.
- 24:40Speaker 3: I told him he got to change it up. He
- 24:41Speaker 3: can't be this. He gotta be shown he had a
- 24:44Speaker 3: l or something got to be Did.
- 24:48Speaker 2: Is he that's anonymous with man Is Diddy or Sean
- 24:56Speaker 2: did he? Damn?
- 25:01Speaker 5: You're number by products and all that.
- 25:08Speaker 2: You good?
- 25:09Speaker 5: But Rex preserved, you know, made them a thousand infant Blake,
- 25:12Speaker 5: you know they've been around us, like you know, for
- 25:15Speaker 5: years literally like you know what I mean. We was
- 25:17Speaker 5: doing shows for fifteen hundred and twenty five hundred dollars
- 25:20Speaker 5: with Blake.
- 25:21Speaker 2: And now we doing the arena.
- 25:23Speaker 5: So just being able to build those relationships that you know,
- 25:26Speaker 5: a quality relationships the last and you know, you treat
- 25:28Speaker 5: people the right way and you do good business, and
- 25:31Speaker 5: you know you gotta do good business. That nigga sued me.
- 25:35Speaker 5: Did he blake too?
- 25:42Speaker 2: Yeah? Why it was? I didn't know that it was.
- 25:46Speaker 2: This is what happened. He had another This is it.
- 25:49Speaker 2: He had another partner and they split and I didn't
- 25:51Speaker 2: know they split. And this part that didn't tell me
- 25:54Speaker 2: that they split.
- 25:54Speaker 3: So he sent the paperwork and made it look like
- 25:58Speaker 3: they were still together. So when I said to do
- 26:01Speaker 3: the ship with his partner. He was like, bro, what
- 26:04Speaker 3: the fuck is you doing? I don't funk with him.
- 26:06Speaker 3: I'm like, nobody told me. I don't even know.
- 26:09Speaker 2: This other thing. And then he serves you the paper
- 26:10Speaker 2: he sent the ship to.
- 26:11Speaker 5: The Look, I got the certified letter the big ship,
- 26:16Speaker 5: you know, the ship to come into big ship.
- 26:18Speaker 2: He was like, what we're gonna do? Like, man, you're
- 26:21Speaker 2: gonna suit me. I was like, man, this lossuit. Listen.
- 26:26Speaker 2: Let's just do these shows on the phone and I
- 26:30Speaker 2: do the other half with you. I do these. I
- 26:33Speaker 2: never fuck with him again. We ain't. I don't know.
- 26:35Speaker 2: I was supposed to tell you.
- 26:37Speaker 5: For we all go through that. We just was going
- 26:39Speaker 5: through with this one. This is nigga. Man, what the
- 26:42Speaker 5: fuck you people?
- 26:43Speaker 2: Man? I'm like, hey, Blake Man, love you. I feel
- 26:45Speaker 2: like I made but you know, he was my first
- 26:48Speaker 2: about it is.
- 26:49Speaker 5: You can always call them and talk to him directly.
- 26:52Speaker 5: He'll tell you exactly what he did. That's the good part.
- 26:55Speaker 5: A lot of people you don't have that relationship. You
- 26:57Speaker 5: can't call me put something in the metal man, what.
- 26:59Speaker 2: Was that ship? What you said? Man? Talk to my
- 27:02Speaker 2: lawyer bok me.
- 27:03Speaker 5: In nah, I mean not right now, but I'm gonna
- 27:06Speaker 5: tell you why. So it's like, all right, Blake, you
- 27:08Speaker 5: know what I'm saying. So you know, you gotta appreciate
- 27:11Speaker 5: that though, Man, be cause you know, we didn't we
- 27:13Speaker 5: didn't been doing this for a long time, and I
- 27:15Speaker 5: think that, you know, as long as we didn't been
- 27:17Speaker 5: in the game. Now it's easy to you know, have
- 27:20Speaker 5: those relationships where people look at you and be like, man,
- 27:23Speaker 5: fuck damn.
- 27:24Speaker 2: That was a great.
- 27:25Speaker 3: Lesson in business, though, where you gotta get let me
- 27:27Speaker 3: let me just say, because you guys did something that
- 27:28Speaker 3: was because you've been in this space for so long
- 27:31Speaker 3: and you've grown the following.
- 27:32Speaker 2: We watched it on YouTube, we watched it on Instagram.
- 27:35Speaker 1: But then y'all decided, you know what, YouTube may not
- 27:38Speaker 1: be the way for us anymore and create Channel eighty five.
- 27:41Speaker 1: Talk about the transition into that because even at the peak,
- 27:44Speaker 1: right we got YouTube and Google, as you know, billions
- 27:48Speaker 1: of streams or billions of views every month, and y'all said,
- 27:51Speaker 1: now we're gonna do our own thing. What was the
- 27:53Speaker 1: thought processing going to that? How's that been going? It
- 27:55Speaker 1: was quite simple, you know that, you know the YouTube game.
- 27:58Speaker 5: But one minute, yeah, fucking pay you all the money
- 28:03Speaker 5: you're supposed to get.
- 28:04Speaker 2: Then the next month I'll be like, you ain't really
- 28:06Speaker 2: do it.
- 28:08Speaker 3: I ain't never got the same amount of money from
- 28:11Speaker 3: YouTube from month to money.
- 28:13Speaker 2: And they control see your video exactly.
- 28:16Speaker 5: Yeah, And there's no way for you to really know
- 28:19Speaker 5: what your reach is until you can centralize your crowd
- 28:23Speaker 5: in the space where you can determine how many people
- 28:26Speaker 5: are coming in and out and utilizing the space. And
- 28:29Speaker 5: that's what Channel eighty five does. It allows us to
- 28:32Speaker 5: really be able to see how many people are willing to,
- 28:35Speaker 5: you know, go behind the paywall, because that's dangerous when
- 28:38Speaker 5: you've been giving it a way for free for so long.
- 28:41Speaker 5: That was a big risk because we was giving this
- 28:43Speaker 5: content away for free for years or every week two
- 28:46Speaker 5: three hours of free comedy, you know what I'm saying,
- 28:50Speaker 5: and then the podcast and then all of this. So
- 28:52Speaker 5: when you take that and put it behind the paywall,
- 28:54Speaker 5: it was an adjustment period for a lot of people
- 28:56Speaker 5: because they like, man, it's hard to give money to
- 29:00Speaker 5: something you've been getting for free. That's what anything you've
- 29:02Speaker 5: been getting there for free, and all of a sudden,
- 29:03Speaker 5: you It's like I tell people all the time, if tomorrow.
- 29:06Speaker 5: We woke up and Instagram costs twelve dollars a month
- 29:10Speaker 5: and nobody gonna be on that because nobody wants to
- 29:14Speaker 5: pay for something that they had access to for free.
- 29:16Speaker 5: So it was really us just saying, you know what,
- 29:18Speaker 5: I believe in our consumer, when a lot of people didn't.
- 29:22Speaker 5: You know, they look at our consumer and think, you know,
- 29:24Speaker 5: all those are the people you can overlook. Those are
- 29:26Speaker 5: the people that aren't going to be you know that,
- 29:28Speaker 5: those are people that are throw away, people that ain't
- 29:30Speaker 5: gonna pay for nothing. So we believe differently. We believe
- 29:32Speaker 5: that our people will come to where we were, and
- 29:34Speaker 5: you know, and they will and they will that.
- 29:37Speaker 1: Well, just a quick follow up because I'm wondering, now,
- 29:40Speaker 1: when you have the behind the wall right the peoplell
- 29:44Speaker 1: are you using those analytics to now look at how
- 29:47Speaker 1: we're going out on tours?
- 29:48Speaker 2: Right?
- 29:48Speaker 1: Because if I know I got an audience here and
- 29:51Speaker 1: I didn't know, probably now we know we can do
- 29:53Speaker 1: a show.
- 29:53Speaker 2: No, I don't think so.
- 29:54Speaker 5: I think that individually that's probably a better analytic for
- 29:58Speaker 5: us because we go all of these places as individually
- 30:01Speaker 5: and as a unit. Like There've literally been times where
- 30:04Speaker 5: I'll have a show, then the next week Close will
- 30:07Speaker 5: be there. Then two weeks later Fly be there, and
- 30:09Speaker 5: then another two weeks we there together, and all of
- 30:12Speaker 5: the people that are there are telling us that they're
- 30:15Speaker 5: coming to each other, so that you can't that's real life,
- 30:19Speaker 5: that's in the field analytics that you're getting for people
- 30:23Speaker 5: who are paying physical dollars to come see you three
- 30:27Speaker 5: times within a month.
- 30:28Speaker 2: You know what I mean, You can't.
- 30:29Speaker 5: You know, that's something you can't really dictate unless you
- 30:33Speaker 5: see it. There's nobody would believe that's possible if you
- 30:36Speaker 5: say that, you know what I mean, Like, nobody's coming
- 30:38Speaker 5: to see the same niggas three times.
- 30:40Speaker 2: But for us, we've seen it.
- 30:41Speaker 5: We've literally seen it from going to these different comedy
- 30:44Speaker 5: clubs and cities and then coming back and doing it
- 30:46Speaker 5: again in an arena or in a theater, and then
- 30:50Speaker 5: you know, it's like those really really let us see
- 30:53Speaker 5: that people are supporting.
- 30:55Speaker 2: What we're doing. You know, we're giving and they mad
- 30:58Speaker 2: if they missed one of them shows. You know what
- 31:01Speaker 2: I'm saying. They don't want to break up the set.
- 31:03Speaker 2: So how was it? Let's talk about this.
- 31:05Speaker 4: So the streaming service, right, what was the process of
- 31:08Speaker 4: actually getting people to buy into pain and then like,
- 31:12Speaker 4: what's what's your model as far as to make it.
- 31:14Speaker 4: It's because you're still on YouTube also, yeah, so like
- 31:17Speaker 4: you know, we've seen a lot Joe bidden the Patreon, Like,
- 31:20Speaker 4: so what's y'all model? Like, you'll have certain episodes that
- 31:22Speaker 4: only go on streaming service.
- 31:24Speaker 2: It's like how do you how do you do that?
- 31:26Speaker 3: Both, we got a lot of exclusive content that it
- 31:29Speaker 3: ain't gonna be nowhere else.
- 31:30Speaker 5: It's only for the streamer, the live shows being one
- 31:34Speaker 5: of the specific.
- 31:34Speaker 2: All right, so all your live shows are on stream.
- 31:37Speaker 5: Now and that's the bread and butter as far as
- 31:40Speaker 5: like the thing that you know people gravitated towards initially.
- 31:47Speaker 5: So we took the live show and said, you know,
- 31:50Speaker 5: we can't get yeat. We gave this away for free
- 31:52Speaker 5: for five and a half years. Now you just pay,
- 31:56Speaker 5: you know, for a year subscription and you get to
- 31:59Speaker 5: see them all all immediately as much as you want.
- 32:01Speaker 5: And then people still taking them on YouTube anyway. But
- 32:04Speaker 5: you know what I mean, they got.
- 32:05Speaker 2: Your subscription of the app. Is its cheaper than a
- 32:09Speaker 2: year than a ticket?
- 32:10Speaker 3: Yeah, it's cheaper than the cheek cheapest ticket you can
- 32:13Speaker 3: get it's like ten dollars a month.
- 32:16Speaker 5: If that it's actually like eight fifty eighty five eighty
- 32:21Speaker 5: five dollars.
- 32:22Speaker 4: Yeah, and then what so how'd you get people to
- 32:25Speaker 4: buy in to move over to actually promotion?
- 32:28Speaker 3: Just promote, keep letting them, lets people let them see
- 32:31Speaker 3: the progression we get. You know, we try to keep
- 32:34Speaker 3: updated equipment and and HD cameras and better audio.
- 32:39Speaker 2: It's just keep climbing.
- 32:41Speaker 5: Any push did you get, Yeah, of course, but you
- 32:43Speaker 5: got to be consistent to be able to push past that.
- 32:45Speaker 5: You know, it's no different I look at that, no
- 32:47Speaker 5: different than the It's like the comments on videos that
- 32:50Speaker 5: you put up. You know, if you ever go in
- 32:52Speaker 5: to read nose and fucking confidence up, if there's too
- 32:56Speaker 5: many good ones, you have a go on to he knows,
- 33:00Speaker 5: and you know that that's pretty much the same push.
- 33:03Speaker 5: You're gonna have people who are gonna be like, ah, man,
- 33:06Speaker 5: people come up to us.
- 33:07Speaker 2: And that's the thing.
- 33:07Speaker 5: We're all approachable, Like people see us out when we
- 33:10Speaker 5: go to these cities, like we are known to be
- 33:13Speaker 5: out in the mall or at the soul food spot
- 33:15Speaker 5: or you know, just you might catch me walking up
- 33:17Speaker 5: and down the street you know what I'm saying. And
- 33:19Speaker 5: people will come up and let you know, hey man,
- 33:20Speaker 5: what's up with the man? Why y'all, I ain't putting
- 33:23Speaker 5: this show on YouTube no more? And then you got
- 33:25Speaker 5: to explain to him like, hey man, this is the
- 33:28Speaker 5: reason why the motherfucker. I've literally seen people download the
- 33:31Speaker 5: app in front of me because they got an explanation
- 33:34Speaker 5: directly from me as to why they should be on
- 33:37Speaker 5: the app, Like you know what I mean. If you
- 33:38Speaker 5: fuck with us and you support us in it's eighty
- 33:41Speaker 5: five dollars, you're about to get us the footlocker. We
- 33:43Speaker 5: both in footlock are about to give our money to
- 33:45Speaker 5: the foot locker.
- 33:45Speaker 2: You don't know that, nigga, you're talking to me.
- 33:47Speaker 5: So it's a director consumer just making them know that
- 33:50Speaker 5: there's no different than what they're getting on YouTube. It's
- 33:52Speaker 5: just actually more personable than what they actually getting to
- 33:55Speaker 5: making them understand you more.
- 33:57Speaker 1: It's a live show that goes on y five all
- 34:00Speaker 1: three of you, or do you guys put like your
- 34:03Speaker 1: individual sets?
- 34:03Speaker 2: Maybe that Chuck, we haven't done that in a while.
- 34:05Speaker 3: We used to go out and do a set and
- 34:07Speaker 3: do a show like all of us would do a
- 34:09Speaker 3: set and we'll be like, man, we'll do We're gonna do.
- 34:12Speaker 3: We just gonna go out of here them with a
- 34:13Speaker 3: little five team, then we'll do it.
- 34:15Speaker 2: Then everybody ended up doing.
- 34:16Speaker 3: Thirty Yeah, everybody. Then we end up coming on stage
- 34:20Speaker 3: and doing another hour.
- 34:21Speaker 5: And you know what I mean, And it made more
- 34:23Speaker 5: sense to just do it together, you know what I'm saying.
- 34:26Speaker 5: And once we started doing it together, we saw that
- 34:28Speaker 5: it was the same thing. We just and we able
- 34:31Speaker 5: to do it off of each other, you know what
- 34:33Speaker 5: I mean, and bounce off of each other. Pause with
- 34:36Speaker 5: the jokes, you know what I mean. I can see
- 34:38Speaker 5: that with this nigga looking at me like you waiting
- 34:40Speaker 5: to say your work play is crazy.
- 34:42Speaker 2: It's on fire.
- 34:43Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean, you know what I mean. But yeah,
- 34:45Speaker 5: we're all different. Like I just had a special come
- 34:48Speaker 5: out on Hulu.
- 34:49Speaker 2: Yeah, who's special? Man?
- 34:52Speaker 5: You know Los did one with the Laugh Out Loud
- 34:54Speaker 5: a couple of years back.
- 34:55Speaker 1: So yeah, we always nobody clapped for that.
- 35:00Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying.
- 35:01Speaker 5: Like we always doing stuff, you know, that's that's you know, individual,
- 35:05Speaker 5: But this is this is something different. This is you know,
- 35:09Speaker 5: this is ordained, like you've never seen this before.
- 35:13Speaker 2: Like that's and then at this point I feel like
- 35:15Speaker 2: we earned it too.
- 35:17Speaker 3: We really because we put out between the three of us,
- 35:20Speaker 3: we put out so many hours of comedy and when
- 35:23Speaker 3: once you add up the time, bruh, if we if
- 35:27Speaker 3: you go back and you look at some of the
- 35:29Speaker 3: older live shows, bruh, where you know, we see like
- 35:33Speaker 3: Chico go out and he in the pocket and he'll
- 35:36Speaker 3: do a thirty five or but it seemed like when
- 35:39Speaker 3: you ask him, it's like, bro, it didn't felt like
- 35:41Speaker 3: ten because the energy was just crazy when you said
- 35:45Speaker 3: three things and they just keep making you talk about
- 35:48Speaker 3: these things. And then DC go out, then he find
- 35:51Speaker 3: that pocket and he do another thirty, and then I
- 35:53Speaker 3: come out and I do a twenty five or third.
- 35:56Speaker 3: It's been shows where they literally had to just walk
- 35:58Speaker 3: out of it be like bro, hey, come on.
- 35:59Speaker 2: You know you've been out here for like forty minutes,
- 36:02Speaker 2: Come on.
- 36:02Speaker 5: Bro with the mics and and knowing even back, I
- 36:06Speaker 5: think that was that's crazy you say that, Loa. Now
- 36:08Speaker 5: that I think about it, I think that was the
- 36:10Speaker 5: inception of us knowing, the getting that that chemistry of
- 36:14Speaker 5: being together because we me and Fly would be staying
- 36:16Speaker 5: because he would always go last, and me and Fly
- 36:19Speaker 5: would be standing there and kind of just waiting on
- 36:21Speaker 5: the right moment to walk on stage.
- 36:23Speaker 2: And we'll always find that he'd.
- 36:25Speaker 5: Say something and then we'll just come right on stage.
- 36:27Speaker 5: And so that's why how we was learning. We literally
- 36:29Speaker 5: were learning as we go in front of people. Most
- 36:32Speaker 5: people don't don't do that, you know what I mean.
- 36:34Speaker 5: They learned and away from the crowd and then bring
- 36:38Speaker 5: you the finished product. We let them see us build
- 36:40Speaker 5: the product from the from the beginning to them.
- 36:43Speaker 3: So let's talk about this touring. So you got Diddy, Yeah,
- 36:50Speaker 3: call them brother man. You got your brother Blake and
- 36:53Speaker 3: the brother Man. That's the name, that's the Blake and
- 36:56Speaker 3: the brother Man.
- 36:59Speaker 2: They run your torn they run your urm. Is that correct? Or?
- 37:02Speaker 2: Well did this this specific run? Yeah? You know what
- 37:05Speaker 2: I mean.
- 37:06Speaker 5: And but we've been working with him with Blake for
- 37:09Speaker 5: literally years, like Blake does the we didn't one.
- 37:12Speaker 2: That's why I was so shocked when the nigga sued me.
- 37:17Speaker 2: You can't thank you personal man.
- 37:19Speaker 5: Man.
- 37:19Speaker 2: I'm gonna keep bringing it up too many conversations. Now.
- 37:23Speaker 3: One thing about Blake Dough is like that come about
- 37:26Speaker 3: how that relationship come about, Bro, it's nigga man.
- 37:28Speaker 2: He do good business.
- 37:29Speaker 3: Great maning you, I mean, but I'm saying, besides suing me,
- 37:33Speaker 3: he do good business, nothing personal.
- 37:35Speaker 2: I was just business. Yeah. And another he ain't never
- 37:37Speaker 2: he ain't never missed the.
- 37:38Speaker 5: Money up ever ever, Always get whether it was fifteen
- 37:42Speaker 5: hundred or whatever.
- 37:43Speaker 2: The he whatever he paying, he gonna have it. And
- 37:46Speaker 2: he asked you.
- 37:46Speaker 5: If you want it in cash. I don't know how
- 37:48Speaker 5: they do that, but it's always legal.
- 37:52Speaker 2: I'm saying, do good business always he'll sue a motherfucker.
- 37:55Speaker 2: You need that type of go get it. Yeah, you
- 37:57Speaker 2: know what I mean. It's always. And then the thing is, man,
- 38:00Speaker 2: you know he.
- 38:03Speaker 5: Had conversations with you, he'll let you know when you
- 38:05Speaker 5: know we didn't have conversations.
- 38:07Speaker 2: He'll let you know when she ain't right.
- 38:08Speaker 5: And when it is, he ain't keeping he ain't making
- 38:10Speaker 5: it seem like it's all good if it's not, and
- 38:12Speaker 5: making it seem like it's all bad if nothing.
- 38:15Speaker 3: Like his integrity is there. Bro, it ain't just about
- 38:17Speaker 3: a money play like Chicko said. Bro, when it's there,
- 38:20Speaker 3: it is there. When it ain't here, call and say, bro,
- 38:23Speaker 3: it ain't there. But I still want I still fuck
- 38:25Speaker 3: with you. But if you still fuck with me, we
- 38:28Speaker 3: can make it up somewhere else. Yeah, but if you're
- 38:31Speaker 3: fucking with me, I'm fucking with you. But if you
- 38:32Speaker 3: don't want to fuck with it, I completely understand.
- 38:35Speaker 4: How important is that because we do events right, so
- 38:37Speaker 4: we understand putting together event from a marketing standpoint. We
- 38:39Speaker 4: understand every aspect because we've done every aspect.
- 38:41Speaker 2: Y'all do a whole festival.
- 38:43Speaker 5: Yeah, you niggas be having niggas come in and talk
- 38:46Speaker 5: from Budapest. We got the richest man in Budapest coming
- 38:49Speaker 5: to talk about how he made money off grains, makes
- 38:52Speaker 5: a billion dollars a year.
- 38:54Speaker 2: Yah, y'all got some crazy access.
- 38:57Speaker 5: Yeah, man, y'all all of y'all man, And then it
- 39:00Speaker 5: to see how much because when y'all first started coming
- 39:03Speaker 5: to do the show the podcast, it was like y'all
- 39:06Speaker 5: was really just getting off the ground. Now y'all got
- 39:08Speaker 5: Budapest connect.
- 39:10Speaker 1: B Yeah, now you on so far as this is
- 39:13Speaker 1: true educational so fars exactly.
- 39:16Speaker 4: So yeah, Like how important is that to have the
- 39:19Speaker 4: right team in place when going on tour? And like,
- 39:22Speaker 4: how how much flifting do you guys? Have to do
- 39:24Speaker 4: it for I know, you got to promote it, like
- 39:26Speaker 4: but like talk about that because people don't know how.
- 39:28Speaker 2: Difficult it is to put together these events.
- 39:31Speaker 5: It is because you you gotta keep in mind, somebody
- 39:34Speaker 5: gonna have to be like responsible.
- 39:37Speaker 3: It ain't just fun. Somebody gotta do the shit, don't
- 39:40Speaker 3: nobody want to do. Somebody got to be the person
- 39:43Speaker 3: to get up at three thirty am and make sure
- 39:45Speaker 3: all the cameras is there, and somebody got to make
- 39:48Speaker 3: sure that the bills are paid, and somebody got to
- 39:51Speaker 3: make sure that the next city is you know what
- 39:54Speaker 3: I mean booked out and everything.
- 39:56Speaker 2: I don't know about getting Yeah.
- 39:58Speaker 3: Like being responsible for thirty five forty grown people who
- 40:03Speaker 3: haven't too much fun. That's the hard part. That's how
- 40:06Speaker 3: you're traveling with forty people. Yeah, you look up and
- 40:09Speaker 3: then it's like, yeah it be a little circle. Was
- 40:11Speaker 3: like five six people when you started. Then you look
- 40:14Speaker 3: up and you've been in there, like it's a hundred people.
- 40:18Speaker 5: Yeah, like yeah, this is my apprentice right here, Like
- 40:22Speaker 5: come from like you got an apprentice.
- 40:25Speaker 2: It's like yeah, that's my understand right here, I understand.
- 40:28Speaker 2: What what's up? Bro? How you doing? Man?
- 40:30Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm teaching them out, teaching them the ropes you hold. Yeah,
- 40:35Speaker 5: I'm teaching them how to hold the rope better. You
- 40:38Speaker 5: know what I'm saying. So you but that's the type
- 40:40Speaker 5: of environment that we had. We want to see prosperity.
- 40:42Speaker 2: You know what I mean.
- 40:43Speaker 5: It ain't no feel good, ain't no you know where
- 40:46Speaker 5: as they say, big guys and little you.
- 40:48Speaker 2: What's the hardest part about being on the road. The
- 40:50Speaker 2: hardest part getting to the next Yeah, travel the track.
- 40:55Speaker 2: The busterfly usually fly to make sure we get there.
- 40:58Speaker 2: I drive.
- 41:00Speaker 3: I'm you know, he'll get off stage and drive, drive,
- 41:02Speaker 3: you know, anything less than six hours. He dragged what
- 41:07Speaker 3: he will do his shet so I get off. But
- 41:11Speaker 3: me and him started that a long time, a long
- 41:13Speaker 3: time ago. We would do the shows and because we
- 41:15Speaker 3: would drive to the shows, the show your own car. Yeah,
- 41:18Speaker 3: he do the show and drive home. He was like, loas,
- 41:22Speaker 3: why you doing that? I'm like, bro, it's different when
- 41:24Speaker 3: you wake up at home. Yeah, you ain't gotta spend
- 41:27Speaker 3: all day driving. It's just like you went to work
- 41:29Speaker 3: at the house and woke up with the money.
- 41:32Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean, so they would always leave We'll be
- 41:34Speaker 5: on tour Blake and be like, man, I don't never
- 41:35Speaker 5: see we could caught me at the at the at
- 41:38Speaker 5: the we stay ad a lot of the same hotels
- 41:40Speaker 5: that Nigga be checking in, Like, yeah, caught your ass.
- 41:42Speaker 2: Nigga caught you.
- 41:44Speaker 5: You know, I seen you on I'm like, yeah, man,
- 41:47Speaker 5: I just drove down Slept eleven at two o'clock in
- 41:50Speaker 5: the morning. But you know that's the hardest part is
- 41:53Speaker 5: just figuring out your routine and making sure that it's
- 41:56Speaker 5: in pocket with the routine of the routing. Yeah, that's
- 42:01Speaker 5: why I say, of everything, just the logistics from it
- 42:04Speaker 5: from the day, like trying to make it, trying to
- 42:06Speaker 5: make a weekend out of it, right, Like you're picking
- 42:08Speaker 5: the cities and trying to figure out the routes that
- 42:11Speaker 5: would make sense.
- 42:12Speaker 1: The other part is that y'all been doing it for
- 42:14Speaker 1: so long. Y'all been to the cities. When you talk
- 42:17Speaker 1: to the venues, right, are you negotiating different terms every
- 42:20Speaker 1: time because you ten years ago, y'all not the eighty
- 42:23Speaker 1: five South that y'all nowhere. You know how venues are.
- 42:25Speaker 3: Sometimes it be sometimes they call us and be like,
- 42:29Speaker 3: what you got available?
- 42:31Speaker 2: When can you come to this show?
- 42:33Speaker 3: And then you hit some of the cities, you know,
- 42:36Speaker 3: the LA's and the stuff like that, and you go and.
- 42:38Speaker 2: They got a whole new theater.
- 42:40Speaker 3: Then they got a whole new set of rules, they
- 42:42Speaker 3: got a whole new set of securities and deposits that
- 42:45Speaker 3: they want and different insurances and stuff like like that's
- 42:48Speaker 3: the part done.
- 42:50Speaker 5: And then you get there and you just want to
- 42:52Speaker 5: see it, you know what I mean, Like you get
- 42:54Speaker 5: to the venue with all them deposits and all that,
- 42:56Speaker 5: like y'all ain't checking up under the car, Like y'all
- 42:58Speaker 5: ain't got the dog with a dog got you.
- 43:00Speaker 2: Know what I'm saying, Just letting everybody through, everybody through.
- 43:03Speaker 2: You ain't running the dog up under the car. I
- 43:05Speaker 2: ain't got that, you know.
- 43:06Speaker 5: So those type of things, uh, you know, the learning
- 43:09Speaker 5: process throughout because we started in comedy clubs like we would.
- 43:13Speaker 5: We started out doing it in comedy clubs. Then we
- 43:15Speaker 5: went to theater.
- 43:15Speaker 3: That's basically, like to put it in the perspective, the
- 43:19Speaker 3: comedy club is like a bowling alley, and then you
- 43:23Speaker 3: go to the theater, the biggest one in or the
- 43:25Speaker 3: arena in your city. That's the it's two different worlds.
- 43:30Speaker 3: The club will let anybody in here.
- 43:31Speaker 2: This security guard ain't even share.
- 43:34Speaker 3: But then we got we go downtown to you know,
- 43:37Speaker 3: uh sades bins or whatever. We got to make sure
- 43:40Speaker 3: we got security that actually move and walk in.
- 43:44Speaker 2: They might have to get active, you know that.
- 43:45Speaker 4: Now it's a different and it's different ticket master at
- 43:49Speaker 4: the larger venues comedy club.
- 43:50Speaker 2: You just selling tickets here, they printing them.
- 43:52Speaker 1: Joints out they eat the ticket did y'all? And we're
- 43:55Speaker 1: spoken to people who've done events. Sometimes they work in
- 43:58Speaker 1: the deals where it's like we're getting a piece of concess.
- 44:00Speaker 1: We might get a piece of the bar. We might
- 44:02Speaker 1: if you're lucky. Sometimes they like, hey, we get a
- 44:04Speaker 1: piece of parking.
- 44:04Speaker 3: But think of how many people don't even know to
- 44:06Speaker 3: ask for that.
- 44:08Speaker 1: That's why we're about to educate them, right, Like is
- 44:11Speaker 1: that part of the process too.
- 44:13Speaker 3: That nigga Blake wanted to say something? I see he
- 44:16Speaker 3: set up on that and like, no, niggahitn't strip. Motherfucker's
- 44:19Speaker 3: the hardest niggas to deal.
- 44:21Speaker 2: Most people know.
- 44:21Speaker 5: That they're gonna sell mercht at the event. Yeah, See
- 44:24Speaker 5: they ain't giving you, They ain't giving you none of that.
- 44:26Speaker 5: See another part about that. A lot of people don't
- 44:29Speaker 5: know some of these venues. They you have to pay
- 44:31Speaker 5: to do that, You have to pay to do that.
- 44:35Speaker 5: They want a percentage of.
- 44:36Speaker 2: That, even merch sometimes they take yes.
- 44:39Speaker 5: And that's the that's the that's the structure of most
- 44:44Speaker 5: comedy club is. They really don't care about the ticket.
- 44:47Speaker 5: It's that two drink minimum they trying to make so
- 44:50Speaker 5: they have.
- 44:50Speaker 2: Paper the room.
- 44:51Speaker 5: They give away the ticket just so they can get
- 44:53Speaker 5: you in there buying the case of DIA and the
- 44:56Speaker 5: limit drive.
- 44:58Speaker 2: Yeah, you know what I mean.
- 44:59Speaker 5: So that's that's a whole other part of the game.
- 45:01Speaker 5: But it's very few people who get to monopolize that part.
- 45:05Speaker 5: Like you got to be. You know, a lot of
- 45:07Speaker 5: comedians don't get yeah, you know, they don't.
- 45:10Speaker 2: Even get John or one of them, you know what
- 45:12Speaker 2: I mean. They don't make they don't get to that part.
- 45:14Speaker 3: They take the flat rate just so they don't have to,
- 45:19Speaker 3: just so they can say, hey, this is gonna be
- 45:21Speaker 3: You're gonna guarantee to make this because they don't want
- 45:23Speaker 3: to take the risk of having to promoted and then
- 45:26Speaker 3: if it don't.
- 45:26Speaker 2: Sell, now you don't get no bread.
- 45:28Speaker 3: But we all collectively at the same time of our
- 45:31Speaker 3: career start like we made the decision to say, hey,
- 45:36Speaker 3: we're going here anyway.
- 45:38Speaker 2: Why not take a chance, Why not take this chance?
- 45:42Speaker 2: All right?
- 45:42Speaker 3: Bet cool, Well, now it's working. Let's put this up
- 45:45Speaker 3: for some security and some safety. Then we're gonna put
- 45:48Speaker 3: this and then we'll put this over here, and then
- 45:50Speaker 3: we'll flip this, and then we'll go independent. And then
- 45:53Speaker 3: that's when it started making sense. We just had to
- 45:56Speaker 3: keep taking them chances. How do y'all figure out what city?
- 45:59Speaker 4: Because you go to a lot of city that people
- 46:01Speaker 4: might not hit y'all, y'all like in the deep South,
- 46:04Speaker 4: like Columbus, Ohio, like y'all go, y'all go to major markets,
- 46:07Speaker 4: and y'all go to small markets too, Like how do
- 46:09Speaker 4: you determine.
- 46:10Speaker 3: Because we've been there and he went to college in
- 46:14Speaker 3: a small market, and we know that. We know that
- 46:18Speaker 3: when when you're in a small market and you picked
- 46:22Speaker 3: the right weekend, this is the event.
- 46:25Speaker 2: That's the only thing, that's the only thing that's happened.
- 46:27Speaker 3: Ain't nobody else coming in and plus us having like
- 46:30Speaker 3: love from them little pockets of you know, the small town,
- 46:35Speaker 3: we know that it ain't a lot of people who
- 46:37Speaker 3: gonna even think to go over there.
- 46:39Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 46:40Speaker 3: And these people they want to be seen too. They
- 46:42Speaker 3: want you to come to they see it and turn up.
- 46:45Speaker 2: One.
- 46:45Speaker 3: Man, I've seen Chico Bean at the Walmart right there, Bro,
- 46:50Speaker 3: the one my sister work at in there by some
- 46:53Speaker 3: T shirt. Bro, cool nigga, I'm talking. I took a
- 46:57Speaker 3: picture with my kids and everything.
- 46:59Speaker 2: Bro.
- 46:59Speaker 3: That's sell tickets, anything you can promote. Imagine what city
- 47:03Speaker 3: surprised y'all the most. Man, that's that's kind of you know,
- 47:09Speaker 3: for me.
- 47:09Speaker 2: Wouldn't necessarily be the city.
- 47:11Speaker 3: It'll probably be like where we at or how far
- 47:15Speaker 3: somebody came.
- 47:16Speaker 2: Yeah, you get what I'm saying.
- 47:17Speaker 3: Like it's people who who are fly from Miami to
- 47:21Speaker 3: go to the Cleveland show.
- 47:22Speaker 2: He was like, why would you come to Cleveland now
- 47:24Speaker 2: just in the Miami miss the show? Yeah? I know.
- 47:28Speaker 5: One that surprised me, or the ones that surprised me
- 47:31Speaker 5: are the ones that we go to that you don't
- 47:33Speaker 5: think that it's going to be, not the demographic that is,
- 47:37Speaker 5: like Minneapolis. The first time we did that, I was like, Yo,
- 47:42Speaker 5: look at all these niggas. It ain't never It's never
- 47:45Speaker 5: the city that surprised me. It's always the people who
- 47:48Speaker 5: show up.
- 47:48Speaker 2: Yeah, It's just it's like people I didn't even know.
- 47:51Speaker 3: Like, it's we got a lot of people that with
- 47:54Speaker 3: us that we don't even be knowing, bro. Like, like
- 47:56Speaker 3: one that stands out to me, remember when Paul George
- 47:59Speaker 3: came to the show with his family and they just
- 48:01Speaker 3: kicked it backstage.
- 48:02Speaker 5: Oh yeah, oh we done have had a lot of
- 48:04Speaker 5: that happening. And then it's like you you see people
- 48:07Speaker 5: that you think it shocked you, like, y'all know who
- 48:10Speaker 5: we are?
- 48:11Speaker 2: Hell yeah, we watching my daughter in it.
- 48:13Speaker 5: And it's just like people who look nothing like you,
- 48:16Speaker 5: who you know, you have nothing in common with other
- 48:18Speaker 5: than what you're doing. And that's the part that is
- 48:21Speaker 5: like the most shocking is when you see the reach
- 48:24Speaker 5: that you have when you're not even you know, targeting
- 48:27Speaker 5: certain demographics. We're just doing what we're doing. But you
- 48:31Speaker 5: never know the reach that you have until you in
- 48:33Speaker 5: them in them live shows and you see people and
- 48:35Speaker 5: you like, I'm talking about rolls and rolls of people
- 48:38Speaker 5: and you're like, bro, what are y'all doing here? We
- 48:40Speaker 5: fucking love you, bro.
- 48:43Speaker 3: We had Sugar Free come out and perform and like
- 48:47Speaker 3: I don't know if he knew exactly.
- 48:48Speaker 2: Like the magnitude of the show.
- 48:51Speaker 3: Where were we had KT at the form so he
- 48:57Speaker 3: backstage right, he hear all the chaos, but he don't
- 49:00Speaker 3: know that this whole joint sold out.
- 49:02Speaker 2: So we were.
- 49:03Speaker 5: Like before we go on, we're going over the joint, like, yeah,
- 49:06Speaker 5: I do this song and then I probably do the
- 49:08Speaker 5: hook on this one.
- 49:09Speaker 2: Then I just man just do end up performing like
- 49:11Speaker 2: four five.
- 49:14Speaker 5: When we've seeing the moment he looked, he was like
- 49:16Speaker 5: all that motherfuckers was going crazy.
- 49:18Speaker 2: He was like, we're gonna share this.
- 49:20Speaker 5: That nigga took his button off, about to give my
- 49:24Speaker 5: shut it's about to go down type of moment. Be
- 49:29Speaker 5: those moments like even like in Chicago, you know, that's
- 49:33Speaker 5: what you know, the blaking them from Chicago, but going
- 49:36Speaker 5: to Chicago and being able to rap with Twister in Chicago, like.
- 49:40Speaker 2: But it ain't just twists.
- 49:42Speaker 3: It's twisters in there, shunners in there, do it, dance
- 49:45Speaker 3: in there, crucial conflicts, chance the rapper.
- 49:51Speaker 5: The whole is just to be able to see that
- 49:54Speaker 5: that connect that you have with the people who are
- 49:56Speaker 5: from there.
- 49:57Speaker 2: And that's the thing that.
- 49:59Speaker 5: I love about what we've been able to do is
- 50:01Speaker 5: the connection that we have with these people. Like I
- 50:03Speaker 5: just went to the Essence Festival for the first time.
- 50:06Speaker 5: I had never been, and you know, I was supposed
- 50:10Speaker 5: to get credentials and all that, but the shit fell through.
- 50:12Speaker 5: So I was just like, fucking, I'm just gonna see
- 50:14Speaker 5: what my face card get me. And literally, man, we
- 50:18Speaker 5: was everywhere because the people who were working the venues
- 50:22Speaker 5: and the people who were working the event, Hey man,
- 50:24Speaker 5: you came and performed in my college when I was
- 50:26Speaker 5: in college, and hey, she goes, remember y'all came through it.
- 50:29Speaker 2: Man, y'all took pictures with.
- 50:30Speaker 5: Everybody, and y'all was you know, So those relationships, that's
- 50:33Speaker 5: what I That's what prize for me.
- 50:36Speaker 2: The biggest pride is how we've treated people.
- 50:38Speaker 5: Along the way and they remember that and they be
- 50:40Speaker 5: excited to see us, you know, and they know.
- 50:42Speaker 3: We're not faking it, bro, because we get so we
- 50:44Speaker 3: get love in places we ain't even supposed to get love, man, Bro,
- 50:48Speaker 3: Like when you get up and you got the four
- 50:51Speaker 3: am flight and then you dropping the rental calls and then.
- 50:55Speaker 2: Everybody who worked there come out and be like what
- 50:58Speaker 2: chi kawai, bro, or get a picture with it every time.
- 51:02Speaker 3: What do you see the nigga on the grill at
- 51:04Speaker 3: the airport McDonald He's like, oh, brother, come.
- 51:08Speaker 2: Yeah, without question, you ring your car from him? Yeah,
- 51:12Speaker 2: they don't get that ship. I got you. I got you. Yeah.
- 51:15Speaker 5: Or tell me like there's never a time when we
- 51:17Speaker 5: hey man, yeah, just seen your boy. Yeah he just left. Man,
- 51:20Speaker 5: he got a Nissan. Man, he got a Nissan's big truck,
- 51:23Speaker 5: the Armada. Yeah, he wasn't supposed to get it out.
- 51:26Speaker 5: And the manager when the manager of enterprise come out
- 51:29Speaker 5: and say.
- 51:29Speaker 2: Look, when you come to Dallas, call me. Don't I
- 51:34Speaker 2: got you? Bro? You know what They're gonna put you
- 51:36Speaker 2: in great? Yeah, Like that's that's right.
- 51:40Speaker 5: It's say it's say, come on, Excel, you got the
- 51:44Speaker 5: same d but my car is there called.
- 51:48Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying, Like.
- 51:49Speaker 5: Me, he bro, put my number in you whatever you need.
- 51:51Speaker 5: And they, you know, when you go to like waffle
- 51:55Speaker 5: House or something and they.
- 51:56Speaker 2: Like, can't let you pay for this, bro, can't let
- 52:00Speaker 2: you pay for it? Bro? Man, Bro, I fuck with
- 52:03Speaker 2: you too hard. Bro.
- 52:04Speaker 5: When I'm in hell on the grill, you know what
- 52:06Speaker 5: I'm saying, I'm listening to y'all, bro, don't fucking on me.
- 52:09Speaker 5: Yeah yeah, yeah, I'm telling you, we're not lying on
- 52:15Speaker 5: you end up standing in the mall holding hands with
- 52:17Speaker 5: a nigga like.
- 52:18Speaker 3: This, Bro, My sister got pregnant. Bro, she listened to
- 52:22Speaker 3: eighty five sounds, so he had the baby. The baby
- 52:26Speaker 3: ended up being twined. My nephew your real name and
- 52:30Speaker 3: name my nephew. His name the Anthony. She named the
- 52:35Speaker 3: Angelo Indiana because her baby daddy, the angelou Anthy because
- 52:40Speaker 3: the U DC.
- 52:42Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying, y'all two together. You know
- 52:43Speaker 2: what I'm saying, the Anthony. They get a flipper now
- 52:49Speaker 2: real ship, Bro, I'm gonna come fuck with you tonight.
- 52:51Speaker 2: My good getting up? Held Una, run downstairs, get some shoes.
- 52:55Speaker 2: I got my outfit already. What's how you going on?
- 52:58Speaker 2: Oh man? We you know? And what God say that
- 53:01Speaker 2: that nigga crazy? For real? Late? What DC really like that?
- 53:04Speaker 2: And that what crazy? Hey? They can't forward you on
- 53:08Speaker 2: the app? You know what? What are you crazy? Helping them?
- 53:11Speaker 2: Bringing my ship? I'm like, what time? What kind of
- 53:20Speaker 2: what kind of holo? Hold up? Bro? Hold on, yeah,
- 53:25Speaker 2: You're not gonna believe it.
- 53:27Speaker 5: Hey, maybe with your boy, your boy, Yeah yeah, yeah,
- 53:34Speaker 5: I got you right.
- 53:35Speaker 3: Man, all right brod hold on.
- 53:42Speaker 2: There you go, you hey nigga. Alright, that's what it is.
- 53:52Speaker 3: But I'm telling you that that's something funny for and
- 53:56Speaker 3: you have to do this ship thirty times, bro, that's.
- 53:59Speaker 2: What he's a easy. I'm talking about the man. Fact.
- 54:02Speaker 5: I'm talking me and this man and this man hadn't
- 54:04Speaker 5: been in the man. We did messing places and had
- 54:06Speaker 5: some stuff happened. Man, we had a we. We was
- 54:09Speaker 5: we in l a man. We had some niggas run
- 54:12Speaker 5: from the one side of the mall.
- 54:14Speaker 2: Third floor, were looking at the niggas bro full speed.
- 54:20Speaker 2: By the time he got to us, he couldn't even speak.
- 54:23Speaker 5: He was man.
- 54:29Speaker 3: Past old niggah san Antonio. Yeah, we and this the
- 54:34Speaker 3: white hens in there for real. These young niggas ain't
- 54:36Speaker 3: got no direction in San Antonio. They literally just sprint
- 54:41Speaker 3: through the mall, fucking with the people at the mall,
- 54:43Speaker 3: bro full speed, running, knocking ship over, laughing, run right
- 54:48Speaker 3: past us, right, what the fun It's the strangest, But
- 54:51Speaker 3: we've seen the nigga outside running, so they from outside
- 54:55Speaker 3: just running around fucking with ship.
- 54:58Speaker 2: The young niggas ran right up on swear to his here,
- 55:04Speaker 2: y'all chick go call the mill told you.
- 55:07Speaker 5: Boy, Yeah, man, that's when like when you had those
- 55:15Speaker 5: type of experiences and you know, being accessible and enough
- 55:18Speaker 5: to be able to have those type of experiences because
- 55:21Speaker 5: you know, like I said, going to the Essence Festival
- 55:23Speaker 5: gave me a good gauge of how people react to
- 55:28Speaker 5: you know, the general you know what I mean, the
- 55:31Speaker 5: general public. You see, I saw so many people doing
- 55:34Speaker 5: what I guess is normal for celebrity to do, you
- 55:38Speaker 5: know what I mean, no pictures, you know, four five
- 55:41Speaker 5: people in front of them blocking them off, don't come
- 55:43Speaker 5: and you can't get close to them. And you know,
- 55:45Speaker 5: like I said, I would assume that that's protocol. But
- 55:47Speaker 5: that's so different than what we've done because we on
- 55:52Speaker 5: the way up, we had interactions with these people. So
- 55:55Speaker 5: now when we go back, who will we be not
- 55:58Speaker 5: to stop back past the old food? They know us
- 56:01Speaker 5: in there, They got pictures of us hanging up in there.
- 56:03Speaker 5: So it's just like the way that our journey has went,
- 56:06Speaker 5: like we've always been in touch with the people to
- 56:09Speaker 5: where they feel like they know rooms and the.
- 56:14Speaker 3: Room trying to get backstage to hand off a plate.
- 56:18Speaker 3: Now you got oh you went from you had the
- 56:20Speaker 3: food truck. I ain't got the brick and mortar.
- 56:22Speaker 2: Bro's And they do know you.
- 56:25Speaker 1: That's the thing, Like ten years even for us, it's
- 56:27Speaker 1: like people feel like they know us because they do
- 56:28Speaker 1: know us. They watched us in the dining room table,
- 56:30Speaker 1: like I watched y'all when y'all had the wooden table
- 56:33Speaker 1: that y'all was when you started the show. So they've
- 56:35Speaker 1: grown with y'all and that's the beauty of it.
- 56:37Speaker 5: How does it feel for y'all though, like being as
- 56:39Speaker 5: though y'all coming up on what year of investmentest? Now
- 56:42Speaker 5: this is year five, year five of the Best Fast
- 56:44Speaker 5: and it's bigger every year, you know what I mean? Like,
- 56:47Speaker 5: how does it feel for y'all to be able to
- 56:50Speaker 5: put on a something that before y'all that really didn't
- 56:54Speaker 5: be seeing the our community.
- 56:56Speaker 3: Y'all be getting this having them same moments too, bro,
- 56:59Speaker 3: Where it is like when you see people that you
- 57:01Speaker 3: fucking with fuck with you Yeah.
- 57:03Speaker 4: Definitely, yeah, like the people who you grew up. And
- 57:08Speaker 4: it's so two different questions. But to answer your question first,
- 57:11Speaker 4: like you can you be even trying to be tough.
- 57:13Speaker 5: But I can see, bro, he don't even him like that.
- 57:23Speaker 2: He looked at that like, yeah, I got a moment.
- 57:26Speaker 2: What now?
- 57:28Speaker 1: So like, No, it was a moment where like, we're
- 57:30Speaker 1: sitting down with a with a hero of ours. I
- 57:33Speaker 1: would saying like, Nas is like the guy for us,
- 57:36Speaker 1: and I told him to his face. I wanted to
- 57:38Speaker 1: be like when I was eleven years old, I had
- 57:41Speaker 1: that read this listen to him. I wanted to be you.
- 57:43Speaker 1: It was like a moment to me to tell him
- 57:44Speaker 1: everything for forty two years of my life that I
- 57:48Speaker 1: wanted to say.
- 57:48Speaker 2: We had the opportunity to do it.
- 57:50Speaker 1: And when it was over, I was like, when people
- 57:52Speaker 1: ask me what's the greatest hip hop.
- 57:54Speaker 2: Moment, it's gonna be this.
- 57:55Speaker 1: I actually got to tell one of my heroes exactly
- 57:57Speaker 1: everything that was on my month for however long I
- 58:00Speaker 1: knew him, Yeah, And the fact that he was receptive
- 58:03Speaker 1: to it.
- 58:03Speaker 2: And the next time I saw him he said my name.
- 58:06Speaker 2: I was like, Yo, that's crazy. Now that's not my name.
- 58:09Speaker 1: When I walked in, I was talking to the producer,
- 58:10Speaker 1: he was like, yo, if I met now, I would
- 58:12Speaker 1: cry in front of him.
- 58:13Speaker 5: I said, that's how much you means to it. That's
- 58:15Speaker 5: a great experience. Man, we had that experience. Now it's
- 58:18Speaker 5: fucked up man.
- 58:19Speaker 2: My man, could you know markets No, I swear to god, man,
- 58:26Speaker 2: I'm not bullshitting man. That happened.
- 58:28Speaker 5: Man, when we met Diddy, Man, that nigga came out
- 58:30Speaker 5: the office. In my line, they came out the office,
- 58:32Speaker 5: walked straight up to me and was like, Chico, Man,
- 58:34Speaker 5: what's up man?
- 58:35Speaker 2: You look good. You've been working out. Man, that's what
- 58:37Speaker 2: it is. And I was like, oh, ship, this nigga know.
- 58:39Speaker 5: Me now, wow, crazy, wow, fucked up man. The rest
- 58:50Speaker 5: of it was dope. It's dope. It's dope. Man, had
- 58:56Speaker 5: a good time.
- 58:56Speaker 4: But in fst fast answer that question, I mean, it's
- 58:58Speaker 4: just dope to just have the idea and y'all, y'all
- 59:00Speaker 4: could appreciate this right, like you have an idea in
- 59:03Speaker 4: your head and then to actually see it come to fruition,
- 59:06Speaker 4: and then to see it even bigger than what you
- 59:09Speaker 4: even envisioned it. Like, you know, it's a very humbling experience.
- 59:11Speaker 4: But it's it's almost like it's hard to really even explain,
- 59:16Speaker 4: like you know what I mean, Like I even like
- 59:17Speaker 4: you go to like Dallas, Like when I go to
- 59:19Speaker 4: like I've seen like the stadium and I'm like, damn
- 59:22Speaker 4: for somebody to think about that, like jerk Joe, that's
- 59:24Speaker 4: in his head right and then to actually.
- 59:25Speaker 2: Have it there and it's like, yeah, that's just dope.
- 59:28Speaker 4: So for us, it's like everything that we've been doing
- 59:31Speaker 4: is really like you said, there's really no blueprint before us,
- 59:33Speaker 4: because it's not like we was following somebody else.
- 59:35Speaker 2: So whether it's invest fst or.
- 59:37Speaker 4: Going to Ghana or doing a tour or doing like
- 59:39Speaker 4: different like stuff that we're doing is just like everything
- 59:43Speaker 4: is just like actual history that's happening.
- 59:46Speaker 2: Has that been a favorite part for y'all along the
- 59:48Speaker 2: way thus far?
- 59:50Speaker 4: So many, bro so many. Like for me, it's traveling.
- 59:54Speaker 4: I love to travel. So you said, I just came
- 59:55Speaker 4: back from China. We was in Ghana, we was in Kenya,
- 59:58Speaker 4: we was We've been all over Nigeria, London, Toronto, so
- 1:00:03Speaker 4: to be in different and us we talk about financial
- 1:00:06Speaker 4: literacy and business, so it's like you know what I mean,
- 1:00:09Speaker 4: Like it's it's it's a whole new genre that at
- 1:00:12Speaker 4: least our culture has appreciated. So for us, to like,
- 1:00:15Speaker 4: how y'all we've experienced that same thing, but nobody would
- 1:00:19Speaker 4: have ever thought that we'd be experiencing tell about stocks
- 1:00:22Speaker 4: and crypto and real estate, like you know what I mean.
- 1:00:24Speaker 4: Like so to see people have that same level of appreciation,
- 1:00:27Speaker 4: like you said the security to God, like, Yo, in
- 1:00:30Speaker 4: between joints, I'm watching your joint because you know, I
- 1:00:32Speaker 4: just graduated.
- 1:00:33Speaker 2: I'm trying to get off the ground.
- 1:00:34Speaker 4: You know, like I'd have had experiences where it'd be
- 1:00:36Speaker 4: like real live street dudes at two o'clock in the
- 1:00:39Speaker 4: morning come up like, yo, look at my portfolio. Ain't
- 1:00:41Speaker 4: the right joint, like saying, so just just look at it,
- 1:00:48Speaker 4: show me.
- 1:00:49Speaker 3: That's what I said, every moment, just an I got
- 1:00:52Speaker 3: money on there, Hey boy, something.
- 1:00:55Speaker 2: If I can give you forty Like when you say
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: what's the greatest moment?
- 1:01:00Speaker 1: I think every time and counter like that happens because
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: that's never happened before, where it's like, yo, you changed
- 1:01:06Speaker 1: my life and you're like yo, I appreciate you.
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: Man.
- 1:01:09Speaker 1: They're like no, no, no, you changed my life. Like
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: I've never had this much money in my account. I
- 1:01:14Speaker 1: didn't have to knowledge. I started the business. I did this.
- 1:01:16Speaker 1: I went into real estate. I got these properties. I
- 1:01:18Speaker 1: wouldn't have known that information if it wasn't for what
- 1:01:20Speaker 1: y'all did. Yeah, So every time you hear it's just
- 1:01:23Speaker 1: like more the affirments. Is it?
- 1:01:26Speaker 2: Best? Like as a.
- 1:01:27Speaker 3: Comedian when people come up to you and they say,
- 1:01:29Speaker 3: in mycology, real quick, hey, broy, you what comedians when
- 1:01:34Speaker 3: we around and we riffing and we're just talking about whatever,
- 1:01:37Speaker 3: We're not having no concept of what we're seeing.
- 1:01:39Speaker 2: We just were in the moment and we vibing.
- 1:01:41Speaker 3: Right when people pull you to the side and say, Man,
- 1:01:44Speaker 3: the clip that I seen y'all do, Man.
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: Brett happened. Bro, I hadn't laughed in eight months. Bro,
- 1:01:53Speaker 2: My suits got killed, My brother got killed me. No,
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: that's real. That's the only thing I took my mind watch, Bro,
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: you know what I'm saying, that skate I scaped from reality.
- 1:02:08Speaker 5: I have to tell us that all the time, all
- 1:02:10Speaker 5: the time, like I was in such a dark place.
- 1:02:13Speaker 5: I was in the hospital. I had just went through this,
- 1:02:16Speaker 5: that and the third and the only thing I can
- 1:02:18Speaker 5: watch with y'all.
- 1:02:18Speaker 2: Y'all took me out of depression.
- 1:02:20Speaker 5: Y'all raised me for like before y'all and I couldn't,
- 1:02:24Speaker 5: you know, I thought it was over with. I didn't
- 1:02:25Speaker 5: have any inspiration to, you know, do anything until I
- 1:02:29Speaker 5: got put on the y'all, and I just watched it
- 1:02:31Speaker 5: every day, and it just took my mind off of
- 1:02:33Speaker 5: whatever it was that was going on.
- 1:02:34Speaker 2: When you get to be a part of somebody therapy, Bro.
- 1:02:37Speaker 1: That's really you said that people grew up on you.
- 1:02:39Speaker 1: And that's the thing about that, Like I wonder do
- 1:02:41Speaker 1: y'all look at that perspective. Whereas we grew up, we
- 1:02:45Speaker 1: watched a Living Color, we watched Martin, we watched Press,
- 1:02:48Speaker 1: we watched all these shows.
- 1:02:50Speaker 2: And now in Reacco though, they're watching your circle, all
- 1:02:55Speaker 2: our heroes.
- 1:02:55Speaker 3: When when Chico called me and he on the road
- 1:02:58Speaker 3: with Martin, and the first thing you say when they
- 1:03:00Speaker 3: seem me one of the funniest niggas in the world, crazy.
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: Bro, you can't tell me shit after that.
- 1:03:06Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean I'm talking about I don't have to say, bro,
- 1:03:08Speaker 3: when you get with Martin.
- 1:03:09Speaker 2: Nah, you don't have to do that.
- 1:03:11Speaker 5: I'm gonna do that regardless, and because I want, you
- 1:03:13Speaker 5: know what I mean, that confirmation to be able to know, like, bro,
- 1:03:17Speaker 5: like this is what we that's the best part for us.
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: Like even better than the money sometimes.
- 1:03:22Speaker 5: Yeah, it's like to be able to be amongst your
- 1:03:25Speaker 5: heroes and they know who you are, Like it's like
- 1:03:28Speaker 5: not only know who you are, can quote what you
- 1:03:30Speaker 5: said and man, and they like what you do?
- 1:03:33Speaker 2: What the what am I? You know what I'm saying,
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: It's the best.
- 1:03:36Speaker 5: It's the best feeling in the world because you you
- 1:03:38Speaker 5: don't account for that, especially coming from our generation.
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: Like celebrity was the world the way it does not
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: what it is now.
- 1:03:46Speaker 5: Like now celebrity and fame is it's so easily accessible.
- 1:03:50Speaker 5: You can just pull up your phone and go talk
- 1:03:52Speaker 5: directly to whoever.
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying.
- 1:03:55Speaker 5: And when we were coming up, you had to write
- 1:03:57Speaker 5: a letter, you had to you know what I mean,
- 1:04:00Speaker 5: was just so far away. Celebrity was inside that that box.
- 1:04:03Speaker 5: And now to be able to come in contact with
- 1:04:06Speaker 5: these people for me, and we talk about it all
- 1:04:08Speaker 5: the time, Like it still feels like you that young nigga,
- 1:04:12Speaker 5: like you said, like when you call.
- 1:04:14Speaker 3: You and be like, hey, man, what you think it
- 1:04:15Speaker 3: is right to be like a.
- 1:04:19Speaker 2: Right, you know what I'm saying, Like.
- 1:04:21Speaker 5: It's just it's one of those things where you and
- 1:04:24Speaker 5: then in full circle, like he said, to get to
- 1:04:28Speaker 5: a point where now you had people coming up to
- 1:04:31Speaker 5: us like I've been watching you since I was in
- 1:04:33Speaker 5: the fourth grade, so crazy, Like damn, you know what
- 1:04:38Speaker 5: I'm saying, Like you you don't even realize that you've
- 1:04:41Speaker 5: been doing it that long.
- 1:04:42Speaker 4: Hard, it's hard that it's hard to realize your impact
- 1:04:45Speaker 4: when you still and when.
- 1:04:46Speaker 5: You're still doing thing, you know what I'm saying. So
- 1:04:48Speaker 5: it is it pressure on y'all? Like being as though
- 1:04:50Speaker 5: you know, we comedians, So people come up to us
- 1:04:53Speaker 5: and tell the joke be funny, Like is it pressure
- 1:04:56Speaker 5: when they come up, Hey man, I'm about to lose
- 1:04:57Speaker 5: my house. That's a because it's I supposed to do. Nigga,
- 1:05:03Speaker 5: you want me to buy some more crypto? God, what
- 1:05:07Speaker 5: I'm saying, like, no, that's a good that's come up
- 1:05:10Speaker 5: to you with problems Like yeah, like what.
- 1:05:13Speaker 2: No, that's a good dude. You know it's crazy.
- 1:05:15Speaker 4: That's that's crazy because I literally just had that situation
- 1:05:17Speaker 4: Like I was out with my son a few few
- 1:05:20Speaker 4: days ago and it's like ten o'clock at night, I'm
- 1:05:23Speaker 4: outside on the street and somebody came to me, like
- 1:05:25Speaker 4: not that same as that, but it's like, yo, bro,
- 1:05:27Speaker 4: like you know, I'm in between two jobs right now,
- 1:05:29Speaker 4: Like you know, I'm kind of down on my luck,
- 1:05:31Speaker 4: like what can I do? And it's it's like it's pressure,
- 1:05:35Speaker 4: like you know what I'm saying, because I don't have
- 1:05:36Speaker 4: a magic answer that could just change your situation overnight.
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: But I don't want me at the bang at ten
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: in the morning, bring two forms.
- 1:05:44Speaker 4: I don't want to give you like a fluff answer, easey.
- 1:05:47Speaker 4: I don't want to disappoint you because I know what
- 1:05:49Speaker 4: I'm saying, so I didn't really think about it and
- 1:05:50Speaker 4: try to really craft or resplotted I thought would be helpful.
- 1:05:54Speaker 4: But now that does happen for sure, because it's like
- 1:05:57Speaker 4: people that happens a lot, even in the DMS, Like yo, brow,
- 1:06:00Speaker 4: what can I do?
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: Like you know what I'm saying, Like that's kind of
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: like at least they just flat out asked me for money.
- 1:06:07Speaker 3: I told you, this stranger, this straight this lady hit
- 1:06:11Speaker 3: me and told me for me for sure, that's good.
- 1:06:15Speaker 3: I needed to help her buy a van so she
- 1:06:18Speaker 3: could travel around the United States and do holistic medicine.
- 1:06:22Speaker 1: Strangers are asking for money. People that know what's like
- 1:06:26Speaker 1: in personal or DM both to the d M. People
- 1:06:29Speaker 1: with the d M is that's a little bit more
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: like you could just say anything to DM. You got
- 1:06:33Speaker 1: to be bold to ask a stranger for money.
- 1:06:34Speaker 2: Yeah, that's pretty wild. You know, you don't have to
- 1:06:37Speaker 2: be bold. You have to have a d M. That's all.
- 1:06:40Speaker 3: You need to look at my life and be like,
- 1:06:42Speaker 3: what did I do that made them think I had
- 1:06:45Speaker 3: some money? Because y'all know I'm so anti that fact money.
- 1:06:49Speaker 1: We're not talking about streams, BRUI.
- 1:06:54Speaker 3: I don't have nothing around a guy myself, shure I am.
- 1:07:01Speaker 2: I seek meiga accommodation. I'm prince of king.
- 1:07:04Speaker 3: Don't don't make my ship look to a good twhen
- 1:07:07Speaker 3: bad because I got to still be believable.
- 1:07:09Speaker 2: Yeah you Gotsonah don't.
- 1:07:16Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm just going through that and this. People can
- 1:07:18Speaker 5: help me pay my rent.
- 1:07:20Speaker 3: I got three kids, but then I'll be like, what
- 1:07:22Speaker 3: you're gonna do next month?
- 1:07:23Speaker 2: That's a fact.
- 1:07:25Speaker 3: I don't want to get involved in this country because
- 1:07:27Speaker 3: then you're gonna be needing help all the time.
- 1:07:29Speaker 2: Sometimes when you help, you ain't really helping. You know, hurt,
- 1:07:32Speaker 2: people got hurt some people gonna.
- 1:07:35Speaker 3: I mean, it's harsh as it sound. Somebody got to
- 1:07:37Speaker 3: get put out to know how.
- 1:07:38Speaker 2: Serious shi it is. You need that experience so you
- 1:07:41Speaker 2: can build them on. Iuse you want me to read
- 1:07:43Speaker 2: it out loud.
- 1:07:43Speaker 5: Read it out loud because they might be watching and
- 1:07:45Speaker 5: then they know that I read that ship, So.
- 1:07:47Speaker 2: Just read they be a pest's crazy damn And you
- 1:07:58Speaker 2: left it on right, I didn't. No, No, that's no.
- 1:08:02Speaker 5: You can't even reply because you like you said, what
- 1:08:04Speaker 5: are you going to do if you set up and
- 1:08:06Speaker 5: said okay, yeah, stranger, like I'm going through this for you,
- 1:08:11Speaker 5: and then what you know what I mean, like, there's
- 1:08:14Speaker 5: no consideration for the people that you are required to
- 1:08:17Speaker 5: do these things for all of those people. Me and
- 1:08:19Speaker 5: this niggas have conversations all the time. We were talking about
- 1:08:22Speaker 5: just how much I asked them. One time, I said, man,
- 1:08:25Speaker 5: how much you think you have if you never gave nothing,
- 1:08:28Speaker 5: all of it, all of it?
- 1:08:31Speaker 2: Oh I have all of it, all of it all?
- 1:08:34Speaker 4: Do you do you set like a Okay, this is
- 1:08:37Speaker 4: this is how much I'm gonna like for me personally,
- 1:08:39Speaker 4: It's like I know if somebody ask me for money,
- 1:08:41Speaker 4: right that I know I have a max amount depending
- 1:08:44Speaker 4: on who it is that I'll be willing to give.
- 1:08:48Speaker 3: And then that nice person after that night, I got
- 1:08:50Speaker 3: a max amount too, And I know if we exceed this,
- 1:08:54Speaker 3: if I if I go here or above, I know
- 1:08:57Speaker 3: I'm gonna cut you off, right, I'm not gonna do right,
- 1:09:00Speaker 3: I'm I'm not even gonna ask.
- 1:09:02Speaker 2: I just know this is how much it's gonna call
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: my friends. Didn't never have to do hypothetically right this hype.
- 1:09:07Speaker 4: Somebody just say yo, I need five thousand right me
- 1:09:10Speaker 4: and that personal relationship might not be a five thousand level.
- 1:09:12Speaker 4: I'll be like, I'll give them five hundred dollars because
- 1:09:14Speaker 4: I do know you. But that's it.
- 1:09:15Speaker 2: I can't help you anymore.
- 1:09:17Speaker 4: And now I'm not expecting you to pay me back,
- 1:09:19Speaker 4: so you can't really ask me for money again.
- 1:09:21Speaker 5: I don't give anything that I need back. I mean,
- 1:09:25Speaker 5: that's always been my mentality.
- 1:09:27Speaker 2: There's no borrowing money. No, it's no borrowing money.
- 1:09:29Speaker 5: And I've been has been somebody who's been getting my
- 1:09:32Speaker 5: own money for so long in my life. Like I've
- 1:09:35Speaker 5: always been somebody who you know, had at least a dollar,
- 1:09:38Speaker 5: you know what I mean. So somebody gonna ask you
- 1:09:40Speaker 5: for a dollar, and you learn that wanting that dollar
- 1:09:43Speaker 5: back is the worst thing you can do for relationships
- 1:09:45Speaker 5: because it's when I need it. It's you know what
- 1:09:48Speaker 5: I mean, man, it's the most humble man. I just man,
- 1:09:52Speaker 5: thank you, But when you need it back, it's like
- 1:09:54Speaker 5: you need a dollar.
- 1:09:56Speaker 3: My rule is I can't. I can't give you more
- 1:10:00Speaker 3: than I could ask you for. Oh then that's rough.
- 1:10:03Speaker 4: You can't give more than you can ask. But somebody,
- 1:10:06Speaker 4: if somebody ask you for money, don't it.
- 1:10:07Speaker 2: Don't got money.
- 1:10:08Speaker 3: What I'm saying is like if you did, if you
- 1:10:10Speaker 3: were in the position, you was normal, like something that's
- 1:10:14Speaker 3: going to be in a position. What I'm saying, if
- 1:10:15Speaker 3: you was normal, it was just you working in this friday,
- 1:10:17Speaker 3: you got your chick.
- 1:10:19Speaker 2: Like, I can't let you ask me for more than
- 1:10:21Speaker 2: I could ask you for. See, I just look at it.
- 1:10:24Speaker 2: I just had to. We're all blessed to being a
- 1:10:27Speaker 2: fortunate position. Where said I'm fucked up, Yeah, I'm fucked
- 1:10:31Speaker 2: up every time. I'm not. I'm not claiming every time.
- 1:10:33Speaker 3: I mean up to say I got some clothes, I
- 1:10:37Speaker 3: got some jewelry, But all the rest is tied up
- 1:10:39Speaker 3: in everything else tied up.
- 1:10:42Speaker 2: I got your liquid nothing.
- 1:10:44Speaker 5: I look at it like people just when you get
- 1:10:48Speaker 5: to a position of like I said, it's doing the
- 1:10:50Speaker 5: impossible for the ungrateful. People love to hold you to
- 1:10:53Speaker 5: a standard they don't hold themselves to.
- 1:10:55Speaker 2: Fact, it's just that's all it is.
- 1:10:57Speaker 5: People will hold you to a standard that they don't
- 1:10:59Speaker 5: hold themselves to because the standard that you're holding me
- 1:11:01Speaker 5: to to want to do these things for you, if
- 1:11:03Speaker 5: you held yourself to that standard, you wouldn't need me.
- 1:11:06Speaker 2: To do it for you because you would be able
- 1:11:07Speaker 2: to do it for yourself.
- 1:11:08Speaker 5: That's why money's not the issue. Money's never the issue.
- 1:11:10Speaker 5: That's why I'm to give it to them.
- 1:11:11Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, it depends on who it is.
- 1:11:13Speaker 5: It's certain people that are grandfathered in like that you
- 1:11:17Speaker 5: just got to it's your.
- 1:11:18Speaker 2: People, your people, you know what I'm saying.
- 1:11:21Speaker 5: And it's just certain people that you know that because
- 1:11:24Speaker 5: you're so close to them, or because they are these
- 1:11:27Speaker 5: people to you, I can see that you really trying
- 1:11:29Speaker 5: to figure it out and shit just ain't working out
- 1:11:32Speaker 5: for you. So I'm not going to let you bump
- 1:11:34Speaker 5: your head and I'm not gonna make you feel like
- 1:11:37Speaker 5: I'm doing something for you in the process, because I
- 1:11:39Speaker 5: don't need that to be an extra thing that you
- 1:11:41Speaker 5: need to worry about and trying to figure it out.
- 1:11:43Speaker 5: But everybody else it's like, come on, slam like stop.
- 1:11:47Speaker 5: But even if I do help, I'm not doing it
- 1:11:49Speaker 5: on your terms.
- 1:11:53Speaker 3: On loads I need it by the thirteen. I ain't
- 1:11:54Speaker 3: giving you that shit to like the fourteen just because
- 1:11:58Speaker 3: just to.
- 1:11:58Speaker 2: See it through on the fifteenth. I'm gonna give it
- 1:12:01Speaker 2: to you on the twenty.
- 1:12:02Speaker 4: First, you gotta exhaust all other options first.
- 1:12:06Speaker 3: Don't never let me be your first call. Call everybody
- 1:12:09Speaker 3: else first.
- 1:12:10Speaker 2: Creative for you. Yeah, so I can, so I can
- 1:12:12Speaker 2: be the hero.
- 1:12:13Speaker 5: Like man, Lord, you came through with that, but that
- 1:12:16Speaker 5: little four honey, I needed last po Nigga.
- 1:12:19Speaker 2: You call me when you need that last pot.
- 1:12:21Speaker 3: You know, even when I give it, I'm gonna act
- 1:12:24Speaker 3: like I'm gonna ask so tight with man, like I'm
- 1:12:26Speaker 3: fucked up, Like I'm gonna act like whatever you asked
- 1:12:30Speaker 3: me for. Now we switching positions, like man.
- 1:12:37Speaker 2: You terrible man.
- 1:12:38Speaker 3: When when you all right, you do me a favorite
- 1:12:42Speaker 3: like before I give it to him now, like call
- 1:12:44Speaker 3: my phone. She see how I went through, right, So
- 1:12:48Speaker 3: you see when you press this and you hit to
- 1:12:50Speaker 3: call me, you can get in touch with me.
- 1:12:52Speaker 2: You see that.
- 1:12:53Speaker 3: Okay, don't act like that shit didn't happen.
- 1:12:58Speaker 2: Once I hear you this, you know what.
- 1:12:59Speaker 5: The more it's ironic party is me and this niggas
- 1:13:01Speaker 5: having a conversation one night. It was like, of all
- 1:13:04Speaker 5: this stuff that we've done and do for people, we
- 1:13:07Speaker 5: ain't never ask each other for shit.
- 1:13:10Speaker 2: That's the most that the like. And there's no.
- 1:13:13Speaker 5: Doubt in my mind if if I ask him for something,
- 1:13:15Speaker 5: it wouldn't be no question, and vice versas.
- 1:13:17Speaker 2: But we ain't never asked each other. We've never asked for.
- 1:13:20Speaker 5: Money each other for money, no money, no monetary nothing.
- 1:13:24Speaker 5: And it's like, that's what that's where you find the
- 1:13:26Speaker 5: SOULA said. At least I get to talk to another
- 1:13:28Speaker 5: nigga who understand what I'm going through.
- 1:13:31Speaker 2: That's all you get, you know what I mean.
- 1:13:32Speaker 5: But at the end of the day, you look at it,
- 1:13:35Speaker 5: and I just always like to look at the bright
- 1:13:36Speaker 5: side of the bullshit, Like I'm grateful at the fact
- 1:13:39Speaker 5: that I can have these conversations with somebody who understands
- 1:13:44Speaker 5: and ain't looking at you like, man, I don't want
- 1:13:46Speaker 5: to hear about your questions everybody.
- 1:13:48Speaker 2: But that's the beautiful part of question.
- 1:13:50Speaker 1: You never asked them, but you if you the first
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: person you would call possibly will be him.
- 1:13:54Speaker 5: I mean, I mean, without question, because you know, you
- 1:13:57Speaker 5: know that, you know, if it gets down to that,
- 1:13:59Speaker 5: then that's gonna be the last thing a nigga worried about.
- 1:14:01Speaker 5: Like you know what I'm saying, I'm in me being
- 1:14:03Speaker 5: the type of I'm the shirt off my back type dude.
- 1:14:05Speaker 2: So you ain't. That's my question.
- 1:14:07Speaker 5: Everybody on this show, y'all talking a lot about responsibility
- 1:14:11Speaker 5: and saving and earning interest and all that shit.
- 1:14:15Speaker 3: What's the next thing you know for a fact you're
- 1:14:17Speaker 3: gonna fox some money up on? Not no investment, not not.
- 1:14:24Speaker 2: When you say not no assets, when you say fun
- 1:14:26Speaker 2: money up like not an.
- 1:14:27Speaker 3: Asset, that's what I mean, Not an ass The next
- 1:14:30Speaker 3: thing you know, your next bad investment?
- 1:14:34Speaker 2: Yeah, what's your next liability? That's my show. Earn your liability?
- 1:14:39Speaker 5: Yeah, mine is that's easy. You know people, you know
- 1:14:42Speaker 5: what I mean, human beings, human beings.
- 1:14:45Speaker 1: I think it's got to be that right, Like we
- 1:14:47Speaker 1: we our minds are so fixated on not doing that
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: that the only thing that we can't control is the
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: people that are in our lives.
- 1:14:55Speaker 3: But we know you got to spend some of this ship.
- 1:14:57Speaker 3: Every every dollar you spend ain't gonna make you.
- 1:14:59Speaker 2: So that's the fact.
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: Yeah, but you think differently about money, right, like we
- 1:15:04Speaker 1: think I could say, like I think differently about money.
- 1:15:06Speaker 1: We've done the you know, we've had the cause, we've
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: had like some of the frivolous ship.
- 1:15:11Speaker 2: We've done it already.
- 1:15:12Speaker 1: So the next thing you're always thinking, like, how can
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: we put money in position to make more?
- 1:15:17Speaker 2: Yeah, mine is always to pitch over the fireplace because
- 1:15:20Speaker 2: he ain't the biggest, the next liability.
- 1:15:23Speaker 3: On the next labush, the next liability, the next A.
- 1:15:32Speaker 4: Buying a home is it is a very tricky situation.
- 1:15:36Speaker 2: We fucked in it up with that want story. That's
- 1:15:38Speaker 2: about this.
- 1:15:39Speaker 4: That's the fact. And I'm still and I'm still putting
- 1:15:42Speaker 4: money into this. Yeah, he lives, it's a it's a
- 1:15:45Speaker 4: fucking bottomless pit.
- 1:15:47Speaker 2: Yeah, it's never ending.
- 1:15:48Speaker 4: It's never ending, and even when you get there, you
- 1:15:51Speaker 4: gotta pay. I don't want people to kill me like
- 1:15:53Speaker 4: that's irresponsible. I encourage home ownership.
- 1:15:56Speaker 3: But when you gotta spend like eight thousand dollars for
- 1:15:59Speaker 3: your toilet to USh, right, that's a bush.
- 1:16:01Speaker 4: And then you got taxes, and you got the school tax.
- 1:16:03Speaker 4: Then you got the fucking bro that the floor thron
- 1:16:06Speaker 4: come bro we had.
- 1:16:07Speaker 2: I had a fucking plumber cat coming to like. The
- 1:16:09Speaker 2: toilet was fucked up.
- 1:16:10Speaker 3: It was working before these motherfuckers came and.
- 1:16:13Speaker 2: Dug up my whole yard.
- 1:16:15Speaker 5: And Blake basically said, there's no way that toilet should
- 1:16:18Speaker 5: have been flush the way it is.
- 1:16:20Speaker 2: It ain't level. The motherfucker had ninety two degrees. But
- 1:16:24Speaker 2: Blake was like, man, I'm not fitting the body ship
- 1:16:26Speaker 2: and had to put it's the worst thing.
- 1:16:30Speaker 4: At least if you got let's say a lot of
- 1:16:32Speaker 4: people say, like a girlfriend, you can end a relationship
- 1:16:34Speaker 4: like that, Right, that.
- 1:16:35Speaker 2: Was a good mood. Boy, saved so much money.
- 1:16:38Speaker 3: You and your relations switch the single switching back to me.
- 1:16:42Speaker 2: Yet are your single? Oh?
- 1:16:46Speaker 3: You know?
- 1:16:47Speaker 2: So you want to a single lady? Are you? Are
- 1:16:53Speaker 2: you your hip? Are you? I'm about to get you up? You?
- 1:17:00Speaker 2: You was you us?
- 1:17:03Speaker 3: You was doing the whole love tour. I was I
- 1:17:06Speaker 3: was in love with Okay, I love your dealership too.
- 1:17:11Speaker 3: We have all the time.
- 1:17:12Speaker 2: You know, I've always been the voice of man. Keep
- 1:17:16Speaker 2: your eyes open, nigga. I ain't saying you're wrong. I baught you.
- 1:17:19Speaker 2: I'll be so scared, but you go. Boy.
- 1:17:21Speaker 3: He was talking about relationship because he be so anti relationship.
- 1:17:25Speaker 3: I remember like him in the back of my plan
- 1:17:27Speaker 3: relationship man, he saw it.
- 1:17:29Speaker 2: I saw that in love with show. Yes, he was like,
- 1:17:34Speaker 2: I'm never I'm never going, but like.
- 1:17:36Speaker 5: I know right, yeah, he's he gonna get a partner
- 1:17:43Speaker 5: with a strip.
- 1:17:43Speaker 2: Is that is that trauma? Is that trauma response?
- 1:17:45Speaker 5: No, it's not a trauma response. It's an understanding myself responsive.
- 1:17:49Speaker 5: The thing is, I think a lot of men don't
- 1:17:51Speaker 5: don't do the necessary insight within themselves to figure out
- 1:17:55Speaker 5: who they really are. Just because you don't want to
- 1:17:56Speaker 5: be a bullshit nigga, don't mean you are automatically supposed
- 1:17:59Speaker 5: to be somebody's husband and boyfriend. And then the unfortunate
- 1:18:02Speaker 5: part for me is niggas love to be a real
- 1:18:04Speaker 5: nigga everywhere but in the house.
- 1:18:07Speaker 2: The own fact.
- 1:18:10Speaker 5: You will standing on business everywhere else, but you go
- 1:18:12Speaker 5: in that house that woman asks you something.
- 1:18:15Speaker 2: So what's stopping you fromship.
- 1:18:18Speaker 5: Because it's the terms and conditions. They make no sense. Monogamy,
- 1:18:23Speaker 5: none of them makes sense to me. Like when I
- 1:18:25Speaker 5: think about who I am as a person, there is
- 1:18:27Speaker 5: no way as a man that I can have a
- 1:18:29Speaker 5: woman somewhere thinking that the decision that I made that
- 1:18:32Speaker 5: best suited me in whatever moment I choose to make
- 1:18:34Speaker 5: it is somehow violating her. That's unfair to me as
- 1:18:37Speaker 5: a man because I'm not doing anything that's wrong. I'm
- 1:18:41Speaker 5: a grown man. I know how to make decisions. You
- 1:18:43Speaker 5: don't get to dictate my decisions based on a.
- 1:18:48Speaker 2: What do you call it?
- 1:18:49Speaker 5: A social construct that we didn't even have a hand
- 1:18:52Speaker 5: in creating. We going off of what everybody else is
- 1:18:55Speaker 5: supposed to do or says you're supposed to do.
- 1:18:57Speaker 2: What if you could do it your way? I do
- 1:18:59Speaker 2: do it my way. That's why I don't want to
- 1:19:00Speaker 2: be in a relationship. What did you have a relationship?
- 1:19:04Speaker 4: What if you have a relationship and it's a woman
- 1:19:07Speaker 4: that completely understands I do.
- 1:19:08Speaker 5: Every relationship that I have with a woman is exactly that,
- 1:19:12Speaker 5: because I'm explaining to them who I really am from
- 1:19:15Speaker 5: the beginning. So that's what I'm saying people are confused
- 1:19:17Speaker 5: when they hear me talk to think that I'm saying
- 1:19:20Speaker 5: I'm anti having a relationship with a woman.
- 1:19:23Speaker 1: No.
- 1:19:24Speaker 5: I have relationships with every woman that I deal with.
- 1:19:26Speaker 5: It's just not the way that you respect it or
- 1:19:29Speaker 5: you think it's supposed to.
- 1:19:30Speaker 2: Its non traditional.
- 1:19:31Speaker 5: It's non traditional if you want to call it. And
- 1:19:33Speaker 5: everybody has to put a title.
- 1:19:35Speaker 2: Or term on something.
- 1:19:36Speaker 5: So if that's what you need to do to help
- 1:19:38Speaker 5: you define my life, then go for it.
- 1:19:40Speaker 2: But as far as me, I'm not, I'm not. No,
- 1:19:43Speaker 2: that doesn't make any sense to me. I'm not. It's
- 1:19:45Speaker 2: like an investment. It's like you look at he.
- 1:19:48Speaker 3: Liked the little boy in the third grade on the playground,
- 1:19:51Speaker 3: all my girlfriend.
- 1:19:52Speaker 4: But what I'm trying to say, all right, so could
- 1:19:56Speaker 4: we travel a lot? Right, so at different parts of
- 1:19:57Speaker 4: the world, like we went to we went to Knya, right,
- 1:20:00Speaker 4: and like we went to certain parts of Kenya, like
- 1:20:03Speaker 4: it's socially acceptable to have five.
- 1:20:06Speaker 2: While Yeah, but that's what I'm saying.
- 1:20:07Speaker 5: If I really wanted to be married, I can just
- 1:20:09Speaker 5: move the gunner, you know, I can move.
- 1:20:12Speaker 2: It's not even about being with different you just don't
- 1:20:14Speaker 2: want to.
- 1:20:14Speaker 5: It's just who I am as a person. It doesn't
- 1:20:16Speaker 5: make any sense to me to go into a situation
- 1:20:20Speaker 5: and set standards and rules based off of emotions that
- 1:20:23Speaker 5: are temporary. These are love is one of the most
- 1:20:28Speaker 5: temporary emotions. It's the worst thing you can base a
- 1:20:30Speaker 5: relationship off, because what about the days when I'm not
- 1:20:33Speaker 5: feel in love? Do I still look at you and
- 1:20:35Speaker 5: see value in you in those days? And how do
- 1:20:38Speaker 5: you establish that? And if we're going off the rules
- 1:20:40Speaker 5: and regulations of how it's set up, then it's hard
- 1:20:42Speaker 5: to be able to keep that in line because now
- 1:20:45Speaker 5: you're looking at me like I'm doing something wrong to
- 1:20:47Speaker 5: you for doing something right for me, And I just
- 1:20:49Speaker 5: don't understand that process.
- 1:20:51Speaker 2: I choose me, huh, without question.
- 1:20:55Speaker 5: Don't have a choice because and I'm raising a daughter,
- 1:20:57Speaker 5: so you got to understand, like, this is not just
- 1:21:00Speaker 5: something that I'm doing on my behalf. I have to
- 1:21:02Speaker 5: explain to my daughter my perspective, and I have to
- 1:21:05Speaker 5: people ask me all the time, how would you feel
- 1:21:06Speaker 5: if your daughter was with a man like you. I'd
- 1:21:09Speaker 5: be overjoyed because at least she knows what she's doing.
- 1:21:12Speaker 5: If that's the decision that she wanted to make she
- 1:21:14Speaker 5: made it based off of reality, and that's all I
- 1:21:17Speaker 5: can ask for.
- 1:21:18Speaker 2: At least you.
- 1:21:18Speaker 4: Really know not to lie to it and be like,
- 1:21:20Speaker 4: look it is Honesty is the best polity.
- 1:21:23Speaker 2: No it ain't.
- 1:21:23Speaker 5: But it's not. No, No, I never said that. It's
- 1:21:26Speaker 5: not no hell now why not? Hell if you think
- 1:21:29Speaker 5: the truth, I ain't.
- 1:21:30Speaker 2: Never gonna have. I just asked, like, this is a
- 1:21:35Speaker 2: gauge that I do. At all my shows.
- 1:21:37Speaker 5: I always ask women, do make some noise if you
- 1:21:39Speaker 5: just want a man to keep it one hundred with you.
- 1:21:41Speaker 5: Majority of the women make noise, all right, fellas, so
- 1:21:44Speaker 5: do that. But I would never say, hey, men tell
- 1:21:46Speaker 5: the truth.
- 1:21:47Speaker 2: They don't.
- 1:21:47Speaker 5: Hell No, that's the worst thing you can do. And
- 1:21:50Speaker 5: it's coming from somebody who tells the truth all the time.
- 1:21:52Speaker 5: It doesn't work.
- 1:21:54Speaker 2: It doesn't mean you would avise people to lie. No,
- 1:21:56Speaker 2: I would.
- 1:21:57Speaker 3: If you a nigga that's trying to be in a
- 1:21:58Speaker 3: relationship could well. There's two different things though. There's a
- 1:22:02Speaker 3: lie and then there's just not saying something that's not.
- 1:22:05Speaker 3: That's a mission, but that's just that's what.
- 1:22:07Speaker 2: You don't ask, don't ask, don't ask, don't tell. Yeah,
- 1:22:10Speaker 2: that's the light line.
- 1:22:11Speaker 5: I just choose to operate outside of the matrix.
- 1:22:14Speaker 2: It's not a lot on no, no, no.
- 1:22:16Speaker 5: Not at all, because you know I'm saying mission a
- 1:22:19Speaker 5: lot of mission yes anything, no, no.
- 1:22:24Speaker 4: But I'm what I'm saying, is that all right, Let's
- 1:22:25Speaker 4: say hypothetically you're doing something whatever, it's never really asked
- 1:22:30Speaker 4: of you.
- 1:22:31Speaker 2: You don't volunteer the information. Yah, that's that's that's that's dishonest.
- 1:22:36Speaker 2: Though that's a whole different. Was you with her last night?
- 1:22:39Speaker 2: That's you asked me a question. But I'm saying is
- 1:22:41Speaker 2: to answer that.
- 1:22:44Speaker 5: That's why I don't never want to be because your
- 1:22:47Speaker 5: conditioned to immediately say anything but yes or no.
- 1:22:51Speaker 2: You know what I'm saying. I don't. I can't do that,
- 1:22:54Speaker 2: but I wouldn't.
- 1:22:54Speaker 5: Advise you to do that because the reality is most
- 1:23:01Speaker 5: in my experience, I can't speak for everybody, but in
- 1:23:03Speaker 5: my experience, most women have never had a man keep
- 1:23:05Speaker 5: it twenty with him, let alone a hundred. So how
- 1:23:07Speaker 5: do you know that's really what you want until you
- 1:23:09Speaker 5: run into it being man, a man that tells the
- 1:23:12Speaker 5: truth and don't lie. I know that it doesn't breed
- 1:23:16Speaker 5: you any type of benefit benefit It just keeps you
- 1:23:20Speaker 5: from dealing with all of the consequences of being a
- 1:23:22Speaker 5: lying ass nigga. And we've all been there, we've all
- 1:23:25Speaker 5: and that just you are just she's justified to do
- 1:23:29Speaker 5: whatever knock you upside your head.
- 1:23:30Speaker 2: See that's where I'm and all that.
- 1:23:33Speaker 3: They need to meet him so they can appreciate the
- 1:23:36Speaker 3: niggas that's like me. I will tell you the best
- 1:23:39Speaker 3: last you ever heard, But no apology, no apologies.
- 1:23:44Speaker 2: Were both lying. You don't even like me like that
- 1:23:48Speaker 2: for real. I'm sick of you. You don't like me.
- 1:23:54Speaker 2: We lie like we have it until we have no more.
- 1:23:58Speaker 3: Now we're free, how we and now we're about to
- 1:24:02Speaker 3: both hit these streets and enjoy these streets in this
- 1:24:06Speaker 3: freedom like we never have.
- 1:24:08Speaker 2: Streets is different now though, nigga, when it comes to
- 1:24:12Speaker 2: these holes, I'm damn I'm gonna let them stay with it.
- 1:24:15Speaker 2: I want to say, Dad, whatever you know? Why did
- 1:24:26Speaker 2: you asking me? How you know? How do you That's
- 1:24:30Speaker 2: the question, that's the question. Question, that's the question. Why
- 1:24:33Speaker 2: Why are you asking me? Who? I know? You got?
- 1:24:37Speaker 2: Verse engineering?
- 1:24:38Speaker 5: That's all they telling The truth keeps you from having
- 1:24:40Speaker 5: to deal with I don't know how to have that conversation. Yes,
- 1:24:44Speaker 5: you do, I know how to have the conversation me
- 1:24:47Speaker 5: to not not No, I'm not no not when it
- 1:24:49Speaker 5: comes to no, woman, I'm not. I rather had a conversation,
- 1:24:53Speaker 5: who the fuck deal with?
- 1:24:54Speaker 2: Dad? Do you mean to tell me somebody accept that ship?
- 1:24:57Speaker 3: I'm like, yeah, yeah, would you be the give you
- 1:25:00Speaker 3: some lady day next?
- 1:25:03Speaker 2: What the same to sit there?
- 1:25:06Speaker 3: The same ones that want to sit there and break
- 1:25:08Speaker 3: down the dynamics of.
- 1:25:10Speaker 2: That for two hours and suck some dick right after that?
- 1:25:14Speaker 3: This?
- 1:25:15Speaker 5: I mean, hey, there's some truth to that too, broke.
- 1:25:18Speaker 5: Make sure that's just want to take you.
- 1:25:22Speaker 2: What I'm doing. Let it go, Let it go. I'll
- 1:25:25Speaker 2: tell you all about it. Put you in you know
- 1:25:29Speaker 2: what I mean? You ain't want to yea lord? Truth,
- 1:25:38Speaker 2: don't get some here, Liga's men, I'm live. That's the truth.
- 1:25:44Speaker 2: The truth is. I lied. You want the truth? So
- 1:25:48Speaker 2: fucking bab let my lie go through.
- 1:25:50Speaker 3: You have to wipe your car and that bitch take
- 1:25:52Speaker 3: a little man, you know some money on that bud?
- 1:25:55Speaker 2: Yeah, see that's it there? What the funk? So that
- 1:25:59Speaker 2: tell the truth.
- 1:26:00Speaker 5: I'm gonna tell the truth, not get to hear and
- 1:26:02Speaker 5: just tell myselves up to make myself feel better.
- 1:26:05Speaker 2: Nigga like me, show up and tell us some good la.
- 1:26:08Speaker 5: Yeah nah that breathless, get that head nah, I'm good yo.
- 1:26:12Speaker 4: Before we leave, I want to ask you all this
- 1:26:14Speaker 4: because y'all always been like y'all always stay y'all, just like,
- 1:26:18Speaker 4: keep it solid. But a trend has been happening over
- 1:26:21Speaker 4: the last eighteen months with comedians. I guess it's been
- 1:26:23Speaker 4: happening for a long time. But there's a lot of
- 1:26:26Speaker 4: beef between comedians.
- 1:26:27Speaker 2: I didn't know that. The fight, but what did that is?
- 1:26:31Speaker 2: That always been part of the comedian because a lot
- 1:26:33Speaker 2: of them niggas can't fight. Man, listen, let me tell
- 1:26:36Speaker 2: you that's the reason why.
- 1:26:36Speaker 3: Yes, comedians are not good fighters, but they always fighting.
- 1:26:41Speaker 3: I have played sports and been in all kinds of
- 1:26:45Speaker 3: other ship. The only group of people I've been around
- 1:26:49Speaker 3: that fight this much are comedians. Comedians stay and some shit.
- 1:26:52Speaker 2: Why Why? Because they don't like each other? Limited they
- 1:26:56Speaker 2: don't like each other.
- 1:26:57Speaker 5: He told me this when early early in the game,
- 1:27:01Speaker 5: Like because Los is our elder. He been doing it,
- 1:27:03Speaker 5: you know, doing for longer than all of us, especially
- 1:27:07Speaker 5: when we came into you know, getting notoriety, and it's
- 1:27:10Speaker 5: always been my partner. So he was like, man, let
- 1:27:13Speaker 5: me tell you something, Man, these niggas don't fuck with
- 1:27:16Speaker 5: each other. They hate each other. These niggas really hate
- 1:27:19Speaker 5: each other. Man, he said, in everything you gonna see
- 1:27:22Speaker 5: when you're around these niggas, it's gonna be.
- 1:27:26Speaker 2: In the vein of.
- 1:27:26Speaker 5: That, so don't be surprised when you see it. And
- 1:27:28Speaker 5: from that point on, I've never been shot, like, I
- 1:27:31Speaker 5: ain't never else with nobody other than my partners, because
- 1:27:36Speaker 5: I understand I see it like when you see it
- 1:27:39Speaker 5: from that vantage point, that's where the beef come from.
- 1:27:41Speaker 5: But these niggas get around each other and be fake.
- 1:27:44Speaker 3: That's the thing though, a lot of these niggas are
- 1:27:49Speaker 3: just when you think about it, a lot of these
- 1:27:51Speaker 3: niggas be in their own world.
- 1:27:53Speaker 2: So in your world, you the king. So none of this.
- 1:27:58Speaker 2: You the baddest motherfucker in the world.
- 1:28:00Speaker 5: You ain't never got to see nobody, You don't never
- 1:28:03Speaker 5: have to interact with them.
- 1:28:04Speaker 2: You might never even get.
- 1:28:06Speaker 3: To see these motherfuckers face to face if they don't
- 1:28:09Speaker 3: want you to. But it's just it's a lack of
- 1:28:11Speaker 3: resources and opportunities, man, And ego.
- 1:28:15Speaker 2: Yeah, everybody's fighting for the same spot, right.
- 1:28:18Speaker 3: A lot of these people have ego because they do
- 1:28:21Speaker 3: have flashes of greatness, but the world ain't gonna never
- 1:28:25Speaker 3: get to see it.
- 1:28:26Speaker 2: So their comedians now, they don't like each other because
- 1:28:29Speaker 2: they like all the niggas do is they're one ship. Yeah,
- 1:28:32Speaker 2: that's what I'm saying.
- 1:28:33Speaker 1: So like when y'all watch it from your perspective, right,
- 1:28:35Speaker 1: because when we think of comedians of this generation, obviously
- 1:28:38Speaker 1: y'all are in that that pathyon of greatness. Do y'all
- 1:28:41Speaker 1: watch other comedians and say that dude's fire or that
- 1:28:45Speaker 1: that chok his fire?
- 1:28:46Speaker 3: Like who the right matunity right now? That are not
- 1:28:49Speaker 3: eighty five South affiliated. It'll take us all you know
- 1:28:52Speaker 3: to tell you.
- 1:28:53Speaker 5: You know Mojo Brooks, I mean, you know nav Green,
- 1:28:57Speaker 5: money Bag, Mafia, Bubba, you know what I'm saying. The
- 1:29:01Speaker 5: list goes on and on, like we show love to everybody,
- 1:29:05Speaker 5: like we.
- 1:29:06Speaker 3: That's why the beef shit be funny because I think
- 1:29:09Speaker 3: on the outside of people who are not comedians, they
- 1:29:12Speaker 3: always be missing a little part. It's always a little
- 1:29:15Speaker 3: piece of the beef that's missing. That like that makes
- 1:29:18Speaker 3: it make sense. But as far as just not liking
- 1:29:20Speaker 3: each other. These niggas don't don't hate each other, They
- 1:29:23Speaker 3: just got some disagreements that they can't work out.
- 1:29:27Speaker 2: Yeah, And I think that's everywhere everywhere.
- 1:29:29Speaker 5: And then when you come from certain environments like we
- 1:29:32Speaker 5: really from like different. Our background is real different, I
- 1:29:35Speaker 5: tell you, right.
- 1:29:37Speaker 3: Any beef between comedians is a few It could be
- 1:29:41Speaker 3: solved with a.
- 1:29:41Speaker 2: Couple of hours, not a lot, not even a lot,
- 1:29:44Speaker 2: just a.
- 1:29:44Speaker 5: Couple hours, dollars, a couple dollars, a couple of dollars probably,
- 1:29:48Speaker 5: And then like for me, I always looked at it
- 1:29:50Speaker 5: like I ain't got time to be having no problems
- 1:29:52Speaker 5: with nobody doing this. I come from with problems with
- 1:29:55Speaker 5: daily you know, and really grew up in that environment
- 1:29:59Speaker 5: and that was normal. So I refuse to get that
- 1:30:01Speaker 5: energy now. So it's always been easy of having that
- 1:30:04Speaker 5: mentality moving through the game. And I always say I've
- 1:30:06Speaker 5: been blessing the game.
- 1:30:07Speaker 2: And everybody with all the comedians everybody needed.
- 1:30:12Speaker 3: Every time I get on the platform, I'm gonna start
- 1:30:14Speaker 3: telling people hire comedians. Don't even have to be me.
- 1:30:18Speaker 3: Hire some comedians. Watch how much of this beef just dissipates?
- 1:30:22Speaker 2: Now?
- 1:30:23Speaker 3: Whatever y'all got going on bro Hire a comedian. Go
- 1:30:26Speaker 3: grab a comedian that you know from your hood, Grab
- 1:30:29Speaker 3: them from your grab one from your hood, throw throw
- 1:30:32Speaker 3: a little bread on them and keep them working.
- 1:30:35Speaker 4: But that's the good thing with y'all. Y'all don't have
- 1:30:37Speaker 4: to be hired. You you can get hired, but you
- 1:30:39Speaker 4: created your own. Nowadays you gotta sell. We still accept
- 1:30:43Speaker 4: jobs though, no for sure. But I'm just saying, I
- 1:30:45Speaker 4: feel like the days of struggling actor, right or struggling comedians.
- 1:30:49Speaker 2: But it's not you have not like that for everybody.
- 1:30:52Speaker 2: It's not like that.
- 1:30:52Speaker 5: It's just as difficult. That's what people don't understand.
- 1:30:54Speaker 3: A lot of comedians that don't want to do sketches
- 1:30:57Speaker 3: or big skits or be in a movie or being
- 1:31:00Speaker 3: and a show.
- 1:31:01Speaker 2: A lot of the medians just want to tell jokes.
- 1:31:04Speaker 5: Yeah, and some of them just want to do this,
- 1:31:07Speaker 5: and you know, it's it's just a different mentality you got.
- 1:31:10Speaker 5: You know, it's kind of like the mentality of the
- 1:31:12Speaker 5: young hating on the old, the old hating on the young.
- 1:31:14Speaker 5: It's just people paying attention and it's two different worlds.
- 1:31:18Speaker 2: It's two different way. They don't even do the same thing.
- 1:31:20Speaker 3: But if you're a sketch comedian that do skitch and
- 1:31:23Speaker 3: things like that, people always say, man, you so funny,
- 1:31:28Speaker 3: you need to do stand up, But they never tell
- 1:31:31Speaker 3: funny and stand up comedian, you need to do sketches.
- 1:31:33Speaker 3: You need to do some sketches. Boy, you hate you
- 1:31:36Speaker 3: need to start fucking with them sketches. They'll tell you
- 1:31:39Speaker 3: need to do movies. But now that's the world that
- 1:31:42Speaker 3: we live in, you know what I mean. You look
- 1:31:43Speaker 3: at the way that that the consumer consumes media.
- 1:31:47Speaker 5: Now you got the I Show, Speeds, the the you know,
- 1:31:51Speaker 5: the Drew Skis and and all of these different people
- 1:31:54Speaker 5: who have innovated the way that people and banks.
- 1:31:57Speaker 2: Yeah, y'all does. And that's what I was about to
- 1:32:02Speaker 2: show you.
- 1:32:03Speaker 3: That's how simple it is to start a beef with
- 1:32:06Speaker 3: you leave a nigga name.
- 1:32:07Speaker 2: That's why when you said who's some of the upcoming comedians,
- 1:32:10Speaker 2: we didn't even really get to go.
- 1:32:12Speaker 4: Into a whole list. Country Wayne, who literally started his
- 1:32:15Speaker 4: own show its own felt slighted.
- 1:32:18Speaker 5: Boy, y'all, them niggas don't They never mentioned me, never
- 1:32:21Speaker 5: say them.
- 1:32:22Speaker 2: Niggas don't fuck with me like that. But it set
- 1:32:24Speaker 2: there and asked him who He said, three biggs.
- 1:32:26Speaker 3: I bet that's how comedian.
- 1:32:30Speaker 2: That's how comedian beef starts.
- 1:32:32Speaker 1: You said something about doing movies and you alluded to
- 1:32:35Speaker 1: it as well. I know you got the partnership with
- 1:32:38Speaker 1: uh Kevin Hart?
- 1:32:39Speaker 2: You do? Who told you heartbeat?
- 1:32:44Speaker 3: I mean you talk about the highest level of comedian
- 1:32:46Speaker 3: working with y'all talking about partnership and working together.
- 1:32:49Speaker 2: How that deal come about? Man? What's that? What's what's
- 1:32:51Speaker 2: the plans for? I don't know.
- 1:33:00Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't see he now even brought up the
- 1:33:03Speaker 3: comedian beeple if we don't ask the right.
- 1:33:06Speaker 2: Cam c the ship and be like, oh yeah, y'all
- 1:33:08Speaker 2: didn't give enough great ship. That's what I'm saying.
- 1:33:10Speaker 5: Nobody, you know what I'm saying. Like, I don't even
- 1:33:12Speaker 5: understand why you guys didn't get.
- 1:33:13Speaker 2: Think about it.
- 1:33:16Speaker 3: Been working with Kevi Hart for a long time, Yeah,
- 1:33:18Speaker 3: Like I wasn't knowing Kevi Hart since laugh of for Losers.
- 1:33:23Speaker 3: And he's one of the guys who's he's great when
- 1:33:27Speaker 3: it comes to the business of entertainment. Smart guys, And
- 1:33:30Speaker 3: like you were saying earlier, he saw us granted and
- 1:33:33Speaker 3: building our own stuff and selling out tours and sometimes
- 1:33:36Speaker 3: he performing at these Saint venues that we performing and
- 1:33:40Speaker 3: he know how it, like what it takes to sell
- 1:33:43Speaker 3: these joints out and like, okay, y'all doing this, so
- 1:33:45Speaker 3: y'all doing and looking at the numbers at the end
- 1:33:48Speaker 3: of the year, and he saw the progress and he
- 1:33:52Speaker 3: worked with all of us individually, and he came on
- 1:33:54Speaker 3: a while and now and we've had real conversations. And then,
- 1:33:58Speaker 3: you know, just in the process of moving out, moving
- 1:34:02Speaker 3: around the entertainment industry, people start to fuck with you
- 1:34:05Speaker 3: when they see you in places that ain't got nothing
- 1:34:07Speaker 3: to do with work.
- 1:34:09Speaker 2: Oh ship, well you in Vegas, come over, come all,
- 1:34:12Speaker 2: let up, come fuck with us.
- 1:34:14Speaker 3: And it's a job for them to call you and say,
- 1:34:17Speaker 3: come to Vegas with us this weekend.
- 1:34:18Speaker 2: But if we.
- 1:34:19Speaker 3: See you, you good, come over here and see what
- 1:34:22Speaker 3: the superstar ship hitting like. Between me and him in
- 1:34:26Speaker 3: d C and all the entertainment circle. That's how a
- 1:34:30Speaker 3: lot of stuff happens. It ain't just the Kevin Hars shit.
- 1:34:32Speaker 3: It's not a lot of opportunities at it be something simple.
- 1:34:35Speaker 5: It is like you said when I came in the
- 1:34:37Speaker 5: first thing, you said something about to watch like, I've
- 1:34:39Speaker 5: had so many conversations just from this, just from this,
- 1:34:42Speaker 5: somebody said, oh man, that's a nice uh.
- 1:34:45Speaker 2: W you're getting the club.
- 1:34:46Speaker 5: Yeah you know, yeah, you get that, and then you
- 1:34:48Speaker 5: end up having a conversation and find out this nigga
- 1:34:51Speaker 5: own mustard right, you know.
- 1:34:53Speaker 3: What I'm saying, this nigga again at the Super Bowl shit,
- 1:34:57Speaker 3: he was like, you got another one.
- 1:34:59Speaker 2: Oh oh you do this ship?
- 1:35:01Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 1:35:02Speaker 2: Switch watching up.
- 1:35:05Speaker 5: Shout out to man the stand up specially that I
- 1:35:09Speaker 5: got on Hulu Heartbeat Productions, laugh out loud.
- 1:35:11Speaker 2: It's this company, that's the thing. He works with us.
- 1:35:13Speaker 2: Kevin Hart gave me one of my first big checks.
- 1:35:16Speaker 3: For real, like the big one for the LOL stand
- 1:35:20Speaker 3: up Special, No questions, as do the ship the company
- 1:35:25Speaker 3: as you finished, it's the latest standing right there with
- 1:35:27Speaker 3: an envelope.
- 1:35:28Speaker 2: With a chick, right, I'm talking about for a comedian.
- 1:35:33Speaker 5: There's life changing money right here, you know, like it's
- 1:35:37Speaker 5: right there as soon as you finish.
- 1:35:39Speaker 2: Ain't no wait, ain't no two weeks, ain't no chick
- 1:35:42Speaker 2: your mailbox.
- 1:35:43Speaker 5: Kevin Hart just real like that, and he was always
- 1:35:46Speaker 5: shared his success well rest of the comedy world. And
- 1:35:49Speaker 5: that's why I say I've been blessing the game because
- 1:35:51Speaker 5: all of the OG's that I've had those experiences with,
- 1:35:54Speaker 5: you know what I mean, Like all the guys I've
- 1:35:56Speaker 5: been around, the d rays, the valls, the you know,
- 1:36:02Speaker 5: the quakes, the you know what.
- 1:36:03Speaker 2: I mean, pretty much everybody you had when we came around.
- 1:36:06Speaker 2: That was the guys.
- 1:36:07Speaker 5: When we came around, they all showed us love and
- 1:36:10Speaker 5: gave us gaming and blame. We ain't never been like
- 1:36:13Speaker 5: shipped on by them niggas, and and that helped. I
- 1:36:17Speaker 5: haven't you know, I can't say, you know, you've been
- 1:36:19Speaker 5: doing it longer.
- 1:36:21Speaker 3: I seen a few times what these niggas is not
- 1:36:24Speaker 3: those people you name, but I'm saying motherfuckers in the industry,
- 1:36:28Speaker 3: and I've told you them story.
- 1:36:30Speaker 2: Oh yeah, No.
- 1:36:30Speaker 5: That's why I say I've been blessed because I ain't
- 1:36:32Speaker 5: never had to deal with none of that personally. And
- 1:36:34Speaker 5: I'm glad because I don't know how I would like
- 1:36:37Speaker 5: don't I'm not really set up like that. You're not
- 1:36:39Speaker 5: gonna be able to, you know, chump me off like
- 1:36:42Speaker 5: that like the nigga.
- 1:36:43Speaker 2: You know.
- 1:36:43Speaker 5: That's why I always say I'm nervous to me might
- 1:36:46Speaker 5: meet Jordan's because I would hate for Jordan's be like, man,
- 1:36:51Speaker 5: it's why you got.
- 1:36:51Speaker 2: On Look at your jeans.
- 1:36:54Speaker 3: The day you say something, they you ain't gonna have
- 1:36:56Speaker 3: on no jaysus your nigga.
- 1:37:00Speaker 2: Adidas nigga.
- 1:37:04Speaker 5: Right, But I gotta ask you before we get out
- 1:37:06Speaker 5: of here, Man, what's what's your opinion on crypt on bitcoin?
- 1:37:09Speaker 2: Right now?
- 1:37:10Speaker 5: Like, what's what's what's your guys's you know, your take on.
- 1:37:13Speaker 4: It's unstoppable, very resilient. You know they're about to pass
- 1:37:17Speaker 4: this legislation. That's why it's been going crazy right now
- 1:37:19Speaker 4: with one hundred and twenty thousand. So I feel like
- 1:37:21Speaker 4: for the future bitcoin is very volatile, goes.
- 1:37:24Speaker 2: Up and goes down.
- 1:37:24Speaker 4: But for the future, the trend is leading up now
- 1:37:27Speaker 4: if you look at the past ten years since it's
- 1:37:30Speaker 4: been started, right, and it's something that once you start
- 1:37:33Speaker 4: to see mass adoption, that's what we've seen. So you've
- 1:37:35Speaker 4: seen black Rock, you've seen Fidelity, you've seen it's traded
- 1:37:38Speaker 4: on the stock market now as far as the ETF
- 1:37:40Speaker 4: so it's it's almost like just normalize at this point, right.
- 1:37:44Speaker 5: But that's why I asked, because with regulation comes you
- 1:37:48Speaker 5: know that changes the game.
- 1:37:50Speaker 1: You know where regulation brings institutional money. Yeah, it's what's
- 1:37:55Speaker 1: institutional money comes in. Like you said, it's tough to stop,
- 1:37:58Speaker 1: and you got an administration right now that's in favor
- 1:38:01Speaker 1: of it, and so it's going to be easier to
- 1:38:03Speaker 1: pass legislation than it would big in the past. I
- 1:38:05Speaker 1: put it like this, in terms of value in market caps,
- 1:38:09Speaker 1: how companies are valued they're worth right now, Bitcoin, if
- 1:38:14Speaker 1: it was a company, would be the fifth wealthiest company
- 1:38:16Speaker 1: in the world. Right it's valued that over three trillion dollars.
- 1:38:21Speaker 1: They projected to be at six trillion by twenty thirty. Okay, well,
- 1:38:27Speaker 1: so there you have it.
- 1:38:28Speaker 2: It's going on. I just wanted to get their opinion.
- 1:38:31Speaker 5: Ben as though you know, we talked about this years ago,
- 1:38:35Speaker 5: you know, years and years ago. I mean everything from
- 1:38:37Speaker 5: bigcoin to chat GPT. And that's a fact, guys, you
- 1:38:41Speaker 5: know on the camera, off had on camera, off camera.
- 1:38:44Speaker 4: We got to start doing this quarterly. Yeah, you remember
- 1:38:47Speaker 4: the chat GPT. That was the first time when y'a
- 1:38:49Speaker 4: ya came in. And then now it's like.
- 1:38:51Speaker 2: Yeah, now it's this every five year old got you exactly.
- 1:38:54Speaker 2: It's the new Google. It's just the new Google.
- 1:38:56Speaker 3: I'm not using the that's a fact. Yeah, I'm not
- 1:38:59Speaker 3: using chat G. We ask dumb ass question what makes
- 1:39:02Speaker 3: nibbles pink? And then it's crazy. I ain't used it
- 1:39:08Speaker 3: for nothing positive yet, as didn't it the Melani and
- 1:39:12Speaker 3: the Nile.
- 1:39:14Speaker 2: You'd be like, oh, I'm.
- 1:39:16Speaker 5: Now I done figured out how to turn myself into
- 1:39:18Speaker 5: a Sesame Street character. On that bit, i'd have been
- 1:39:20Speaker 5: on there taking pictures. Man in the they man turned
- 1:39:23Speaker 5: me in a SpongeBob.
- 1:39:29Speaker 2: What's going nowhere?
- 1:39:30Speaker 5: We've had all of these conversations, uh, you know in
- 1:39:33Speaker 5: front of the people. Man, So you know, salute y'all
- 1:39:35Speaker 5: and thank y'all for always having us and always being
- 1:39:38Speaker 5: able to pull up progressively push the conversation and not
- 1:39:43Speaker 5: hide the information from the people.
- 1:39:45Speaker 2: Man.
- 1:39:45Speaker 3: You need me some tickets to investment. Yeah, we got
- 1:39:47Speaker 3: to come to them. I need a I need a
- 1:39:51Speaker 3: layer that make it look like I got a lot
- 1:39:53Speaker 3: more to do with it than I actually do.
- 1:39:55Speaker 2: Production looking forward to, but I I want to when
- 1:40:01Speaker 2: I see y'all the headset. You need a head set,
- 1:40:03Speaker 2: not necessarily.
- 1:40:04Speaker 3: But when y'all like, yeah, when y'all get me the ship,
- 1:40:10Speaker 3: I'm just gonna act like I'm always looking for y'all.
- 1:40:13Speaker 2: You said we shot, so come on, let's run it.
- 1:40:18Speaker 2: Let's just run it, run it. He's here, we got
- 1:40:21Speaker 2: the talent. Let's just run it. Let's just run. Let's
- 1:40:23Speaker 2: just run it. MIC's out. If you ain't got one
- 1:40:25Speaker 2: of these, that's that's what I want to do. Give
- 1:40:29Speaker 2: me one of them.
- 1:40:30Speaker 3: You ain't got to worry about ship else. I ain't
- 1:40:32Speaker 3: coming to suck the bread up. But I want to
- 1:40:34Speaker 3: just come and act like I'm real important.
- 1:40:37Speaker 5: And when people ask you, is that you know who
- 1:40:39Speaker 5: the fuck that is? That's the nigga that invented black.
- 1:40:44Speaker 2: That's black. That's the black dude. Black gp T.
- 1:40:50Speaker 5: Yeah, Black gp T would be dope. This type of
- 1:40:52Speaker 5: ship you can ask Black would be amazing you like
- 1:40:56Speaker 5: like a like a like a black.
- 1:40:58Speaker 2: Give us an example. When is bigcoin going up? Child?
- 1:41:04Speaker 2: I don't know it's going up directly.
- 1:41:09Speaker 5: Going up to see what should I do with this money?
- 1:41:12Speaker 3: Well, if it's in the Lord's will, you'll always have it.
- 1:41:18Speaker 3: If I live and don't nothing happen. I'm investing all
- 1:41:22Speaker 3: my money in the investor.
- 1:41:25Speaker 2: Black GPT, the Lord. You know it's legit. That's what
- 1:41:33Speaker 2: it is, it's going down. We need to come up
- 1:41:36Speaker 2: with that.
- 1:41:37Speaker 3: What's the blessing? Everything that you got that the Lord
- 1:41:41Speaker 3: want you to have?
