- 0:00Speaker 1: Well, let's take a look.
- 0:00Speaker 2: I'm gonna run it down to give you guys some
- 0:02Speaker 2: perspective as we look for our best fits in their
- 0:04Speaker 2: new home.
- 0:05Speaker 1: Keldrick Falk at thirty one.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Oh, this is the end of the first round, So
- 0:11Speaker 2: Shribbling was the first pick of the second round. And
- 0:13Speaker 2: Chase basantis TJ Parker, Caden McDonald.
- 0:17Speaker 3: Mccownder is a no brainer for Houston. You get a
- 0:20Speaker 3: real nose tackle that can eat up double teams.
- 0:22Speaker 4: They love their linebackers to fly around behind them. I
- 0:26Speaker 4: mean that's an a plus for me right there. I
- 0:28Speaker 4: love that fit.
- 0:29Speaker 2: Colton Hood Traydon Stuke's Denzel Boston, a wide receiver. They
- 0:33Speaker 2: have two now in Cleveland in this draft. And then
- 0:36Speaker 2: our Mason Thomas, the edge rusher from Oklahoma. Cashus Howe
- 0:40Speaker 2: goes to the Bengals, Kristin Miller Jacob Rodriguez taking that
- 0:44Speaker 2: middle spot there in Miami, Derek Moore, Zion Young, Josiah
- 0:49Speaker 2: Trotter to Tampa Bay Trey's Buccaneers, Bernard Terrell to his
- 0:54Speaker 2: brother's team.
- 0:54Speaker 1: That's kind of talking about coming home.
- 0:57Speaker 2: That fits the best home, best fits, yeah, Lee Hunter
- 1:01Speaker 2: and then ponds to the Jets.
- 1:02Speaker 1: There's a few there.
- 1:03Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean like we can.
- 1:04Speaker 1: Come back on camera after this slide alone.
- 1:07Speaker 5: That's my answer. There is d Angela Pons, Like, that's
- 1:09Speaker 5: that's there. You're right at home with Aaron gled as
- 1:12Speaker 5: your head coach. I mean, that's he is going to
- 1:15Speaker 5: teach the Angela Pons exactly how he played the game
- 1:18Speaker 5: at a very high level in the NFL. And I
- 1:20Speaker 5: think d' angela Pons is built the exact same way
- 1:23Speaker 5: to have that similar success. So to me, that is
- 1:25Speaker 5: a right at home type of eving.
- 1:26Speaker 2: And I would say Zion Young as well, feels like
- 1:29Speaker 2: a perfect fit.
- 1:30Speaker 1: There with Baltimore and what they're looking, no doubt, you get.
- 1:33Speaker 4: A rugged edge defender, that's a three down kind of guy.
- 1:36Speaker 4: You have Mike Green mixing in the past rush, you
- 1:38Speaker 4: got Hendrickson. It's a true Baltimore guy all the way.
- 1:41Speaker 1: All Right, let's keep it rolling.
- 1:43Speaker 2: Pick fifty one and on Jake Golday went to Minnesota,
- 1:46Speaker 2: Ceesay to Green Bay. CJ Allen Allen, I think the
- 1:50Speaker 2: Colts are one of my really big Day two winners.
- 1:54Speaker 2: Ye Eli, the athletic tight end stours going to the
- 1:57Speaker 2: Eagles Acas I'm not even gonna try.
- 2:00Speaker 3: You got it.
- 2:00Speaker 1: Ber Kircher to the Jaguars was a shock.
- 2:04Speaker 2: Logan Jones. Finally, Emmanuel McNeil Warren goes to Cleveland at
- 2:09Speaker 2: fifty eight. Then Kleine and Anthony Hill Junior taking over
- 2:12Speaker 2: a linebacker spot for a team that knows how to
- 2:16Speaker 2: develop them. From then on at sixty one, Claire Igbanosen,
- 2:22Speaker 2: Slaughter Clark, and then beck Beck was the first pick
- 2:26Speaker 2: of the third round. It there was about ten to
- 2:28Speaker 2: fifteen picks in a row where we were just getting
- 2:30Speaker 2: punched in the face with what just happened on the
- 2:34Speaker 2: right there, Baby the monster, Markel Bell going to the
- 2:38Speaker 2: Eagles at sixty eight, Roush at sixty nine, and then
- 2:41Speaker 2: talk about a great fit. Romelo Height going to a
- 2:44Speaker 2: team you mentioned it's a great fit. Anywhere else it
- 2:48Speaker 2: could have been an issue.
- 2:49Speaker 4: And this group has three of those height as a
- 2:51Speaker 4: wide nine rusher DPR for San Francisco. And then two
- 2:54Speaker 4: guys that know so much about developing tight ends and
- 2:57Speaker 4: Ben Johnson taking Sam Roush and Sean McVay taking Max Claire.
- 3:01Speaker 3: YEP, I'm with you. I think those are all really
- 3:02Speaker 3: good fits.
- 3:03Speaker 5: And those are I mean that's what you want here
- 3:05Speaker 5: in the third round.
- 3:06Speaker 3: Really, you just want scheme coaching fits so you know that.
- 3:09Speaker 5: These guys will be able to get on the field
- 3:10Speaker 5: where their strengths can shine the most.
- 3:12Speaker 2: All right, let's look at seventy one through eighty, starting
- 3:15Speaker 2: with Antonio Williams, a much needed wide receiver to be
- 3:18Speaker 2: opposite of Terry McLaurin, Davis delt Fields, Douglas. That one
- 3:22Speaker 2: was a little bit shocking to you, guys, almost as
- 3:24Speaker 2: shocking as Drew Aller going at pick number seventy six,
- 3:28Speaker 2: and then McLellan.
- 3:29Speaker 1: I'll see what you guys love Bran schon Lane.
- 3:31Speaker 2: Who would you say is the best fit as they
- 3:34Speaker 2: finally a new home, Trevor.
- 3:35Speaker 3: I love McClellan.
- 3:36Speaker 5: I mean, I'll shout him out just because he's my guy.
- 3:38Speaker 5: I had him right around this range again. I think
- 3:40Speaker 5: that he is a versatile run stuff for the Green
- 3:43Speaker 5: Bay Packers. And I know I'm not supposed to say
- 3:45Speaker 5: that because I'm the air raid boy, but I really
- 3:47Speaker 5: do love this pick because he can play nose, he
- 3:50Speaker 5: can play three technique, he can play as a four
- 3:52Speaker 5: I defensive end.
- 3:53Speaker 3: I think he could do it all for Green Bay.
- 3:54Speaker 4: Yeah, and I go back to ballor going and what
- 3:56Speaker 4: he knows best, and that's scouting the sec man.
- 3:58Speaker 3: You go get CJ.
- 3:59Speaker 4: Allen earlier, and then you take aj Halsey the safety
- 4:02Speaker 4: from LSU.
- 4:02Speaker 3: Means you give me that. A great job by the colt.
- 4:04Speaker 3: Yeah ya plus all right.
- 4:06Speaker 2: From eighty one to ninety, Albert Regis was a redeeming.
- 4:10Speaker 1: Pick for the Jacksonville Jaguars. A big Citrus.
- 4:13Speaker 2: Goes to Minnesota, brazzle Hurst and Everett, and then Barber
- 4:19Speaker 2: will catch Merrick, Emmanuel, Pregnant, Thomas and Black.
- 4:23Speaker 1: What do you think your Connor best fits in their
- 4:25Speaker 1: new homes?
- 4:26Speaker 4: Pregnant, I'm going to Jacksonville. Man, he could be a
- 4:28Speaker 4: starting guard for you down the road. He's played a
- 4:30Speaker 4: lot of college football. He's a really good athlete. You
- 4:32Speaker 4: could ask anything of him in the run game because
- 4:34Speaker 4: he can drive block, but he's also got enough wheels
- 4:37Speaker 4: to get out of the gate and poll climb reach.
- 4:40Speaker 4: And then you know, you talk about big Citrus being
- 4:42Speaker 4: the second defensive tackle going to Minnesota, Trevor Bryan Flores's
- 4:45Speaker 4: front just looks so much different on the interior in
- 4:47Speaker 4: a great way.
- 4:48Speaker 5: Yeah, I mean, I'll stick with the Bucks to be
- 4:50Speaker 5: the regular here. I mean, like getting Ted Hurst as
- 4:53Speaker 5: the ex receiver to really free up the other good
- 4:55Speaker 5: guys that you have there in the receiver room.
- 4:57Speaker 3: I mean that is.
- 4:58Speaker 5: Also a great spot for ten to go embrace your
- 5:01Speaker 5: inner regular.
- 5:01Speaker 3: Yeah, I gotta do it.
- 5:02Speaker 1: Yeah, that's who you are. Don't don't shy away from them.
- 5:05Speaker 2: Ninety one to one, one hundred the last ten of
- 5:08Speaker 2: this from Zoon all the way to Husky Wrigular.
- 5:12Speaker 1: Which one did you wriggle your way into?
- 5:14Speaker 5: I mean I think that I think that drey Zune's
- 5:16Speaker 5: a great fit. I think I've got a lot of
- 5:18Speaker 5: faith for him to be able to start at center
- 5:20Speaker 5: or guard for you. I know they don't need him
- 5:21Speaker 5: to center right away, but to me, he's so versatile
- 5:23Speaker 5: for what they're doing. Dunker, I love to fit there
- 5:26Speaker 5: for the Pittsburgh Steelers as well. And then I know,
- 5:29Speaker 5: I know you like bar him a lot, especially getting
- 5:31Speaker 5: the value there for the Cowboys in ninety two.
- 5:33Speaker 4: Yeah, and Eli Raridan Man New England, just knows a
- 5:35Speaker 4: thing or two about tight end.
- 5:36Speaker 3: When Josh McDaniels is calling the plays.
- 5:38Speaker 4: Raretan is somebody that he's really far removed from those
- 5:41Speaker 4: two acls. He's got great length, he could block on
- 5:43Speaker 4: the line of scrimmage, explosive play machine.
- 5:46Speaker 3: He's going to be a big time player for the Patriots.
- 5:48Speaker 1: All right.
- 5:48Speaker 2: Now, it's time to do some winners and surprises. Before
- 5:53Speaker 2: we get to that, just I want to talk about
- 5:55Speaker 2: the big name that was in the top ten of
- 5:57Speaker 2: Trevor's board. He did not play his last year in
- 6:00Speaker 2: Jermad McCoy. We are going to probably, I would imagine,
- 6:04Speaker 2: having covered the draft enough, there will be reports that
- 6:07Speaker 2: it will come out tonight or tomorrow that shine more
- 6:10Speaker 2: light on his medical. Medical is always one where you
- 6:13Speaker 2: don't really know what are we thinking in terms of
- 6:16Speaker 2: the risk and what's happened and what you expect.
- 6:19Speaker 4: You always want to be careful making assumptions about medicals.
- 6:22Speaker 4: But you would think with the rumor out there that
- 6:26Speaker 4: there might be a procedure needed on the other knee.
- 6:29Speaker 3: That a team can take him.
- 6:31Speaker 4: A team can take a player on Day three and
- 6:33Speaker 4: red shirt that player. You one where if he needs
- 6:36Speaker 4: this procedure. Now, if you draft your mout of coy
- 6:38Speaker 4: in the fourth to seventh round, you could sit there
- 6:40Speaker 4: and be like, listen, man, we think the world to you, right,
- 6:43Speaker 4: but we want to get this done now and get
- 6:45Speaker 4: the best version of you.
- 6:46Speaker 3: And it's scary when you think two years away from
- 6:47Speaker 3: playing football.
- 6:48Speaker 4: He didn't play this year, right, maybe he doesn't play
- 6:50Speaker 4: his rookie year, or you have a team that goes
- 6:52Speaker 4: the other way.
- 6:54Speaker 3: We're just going to take you with a Day three pick.
- 6:56Speaker 4: We're going to play you until you need that procedure,
- 6:58Speaker 4: and if you get hurt, you get hurt.
- 7:00Speaker 3: We knew that was the risk.
- 7:01Speaker 4: But I feel really bad for him because these guys
- 7:03Speaker 4: have worked their whole lives for their dream and he's
- 7:04Speaker 4: still sitting at.
- 7:05Speaker 3: Home waiting to hear his name. I he's a phenomenal
- 7:07Speaker 3: football player.
- 7:07Speaker 5: I mean his twenty twenty four stuff was incredible, and
- 7:09Speaker 5: that was as a true sophomore in the SEC.
- 7:12Speaker 3: So I think McCoy is amazing. But I'm with you.
- 7:15Speaker 5: I just I have no idea where he gets drafted
- 7:17Speaker 5: at this point.
- 7:18Speaker 2: All right, let us do some winners of Day two. Connor,
- 7:21Speaker 2: do you feel prepared to give your winner?
- 7:23Speaker 3: Yeah, and I kind of give it away to earn that.
- 7:24Speaker 4: But how do you not look at what Chris Ballard
- 7:26Speaker 4: did without having a first rounder, right. They traded two
- 7:28Speaker 4: first for Sauce Gardner, so they knew they were going
- 7:30Speaker 4: to have to be they were gonna have to capitalize
- 7:32Speaker 4: on what they have in Day two.
- 7:34Speaker 3: And to me CJ.
- 7:36Speaker 4: Allen, Okay, maybe not a Round one guy, but a
- 7:38Speaker 4: fringe ish kind of guy at off ball linebacker to
- 7:41Speaker 4: help you in the middle of your field, a leader,
- 7:43Speaker 4: somebody with really good run game instincts. And then you
- 7:46Speaker 4: go to aj Halsey, which I had heard the NFL
- 7:49Speaker 4: wasn't as high on this guy as a lot of
- 7:51Speaker 4: draft media, especially someone like me and I know Trevor
- 7:53Speaker 4: you like him as well. But ball skills, physical, two
- 7:57Speaker 4: hundred and twenty pounds, super smart on a down by basis,
- 8:01Speaker 4: in my opinion, if you're the Colts, you ne a
- 8:02Speaker 4: first rounder and you get two starters with your Day
- 8:05Speaker 4: two picks, that's a winner to me.
- 8:07Speaker 5: Yeah, I'll go with the Las Vegas Raiders. I mean,
- 8:10Speaker 5: you draft trade and Stukes at the top as a
- 8:11Speaker 5: player who could play in the nickel foury in safety,
- 8:13Speaker 5: it was a huge deed. You got a potential star
- 8:15Speaker 5: player there, which you love Kiaran Crawford, somebody who can
- 8:19Speaker 5: obviously help your past rush a lot. Again, I said this,
- 8:21Speaker 5: I liked him better than his teammate. I think he's
- 8:23Speaker 5: got faster, more violent hands, he's got a better pass
- 8:25Speaker 5: rush plan, he knows how to get after the quarterback.
- 8:27Speaker 5: So if you put him in that outside linebacker situation,
- 8:30Speaker 5: I think he'll be able to thrive for you. And
- 8:32Speaker 5: then we just mentioned it Trey Zoon pick number ninety
- 8:34Speaker 5: one there for him. I think he could be a
- 8:35Speaker 5: potential starter for you at center or at guard. And
- 8:38Speaker 5: he's just a swing offensive lineman, somebody who I think
- 8:40Speaker 5: could come in a pinch when one of those starters
- 8:42Speaker 5: goes down. You feel good about putting him basically anywhere,
- 8:45Speaker 5: and anytime you have a verstal offensive lineman like that,
- 8:47Speaker 5: you got a lot of faith in what's going on
- 8:49Speaker 5: up front.
- 8:50Speaker 1: I'm gonna make my winner mcpounder nation there.
- 8:52Speaker 2: It is because when you get drafted to the perfect
- 8:56Speaker 2: situation and you set yourself up, everyone that was under
- 9:00Speaker 2: fans now looks like, is he mctexan.
- 9:03Speaker 1: Now?
- 9:04Speaker 5: Oh, is he mctexan. I mean he said himself that,
- 9:09Speaker 5: so I guess he's just always mcpounder.
- 9:11Speaker 1: But what he is about to do on that Texans defense.
- 9:14Speaker 2: People are gonna go, how did this guy not get
- 9:16Speaker 2: drafted earlier?
- 9:17Speaker 1: And that's the dream as a draft expert.
- 9:20Speaker 3: Yeah, and they jumped the Giants for him.
- 9:23Speaker 1: Clearly, you're right.
- 9:24Speaker 4: So though it was a savvy play by Nick Cassario,
- 9:27Speaker 4: Demiko Ryans is arguably the best defensive architect in the
- 9:31Speaker 4: NFL today in terms of evaluating talent and maximizing it.
- 9:35Speaker 4: And Kaden McDonald gets a step right in there and
- 9:37Speaker 4: have a role for day one.
- 9:38Speaker 5: I'm with you.
- 9:39Speaker 1: Surprises. I feel like the tight ends one of them.
- 9:43Speaker 5: Yeah, yah are how the tight end class was drafted
- 9:47Speaker 5: was completely off the wall. I mean, it's just it
- 9:51Speaker 5: went completely against consensus, how high they went, the order
- 9:55Speaker 5: in which these guys went, and specifically like we weren't
- 9:59Speaker 5: overdrafting receiving tight ends, like we were over drafting blocking
- 10:04Speaker 5: tight ends. For Marlin Kline and Nick Moore Kertzcher to
- 10:09Speaker 5: be fifty six and fifty nine overall in this class,
- 10:12Speaker 5: to me is just crazy for the lack of receiving
- 10:16Speaker 5: production that those guys had. So h Ken you, sadik
- 10:19Speaker 5: Eli Stowers, we go okay, yeah, yeah, all right, we
- 10:22Speaker 5: expected that to happen. Total curveball with how this tight
- 10:25Speaker 5: end class was drafted. And then I just think the
- 10:28Speaker 5: JAG's overall. I mean, they just keep us on our
- 10:31Speaker 5: toes at all times. I mean, James Gladstone at the
- 10:33Speaker 5: podium is becoming much watch television ever since day put
- 10:36Speaker 5: that on pay per.
- 10:36Speaker 3: View because we'll watch that every time.
- 10:38Speaker 4: The guy is absolute cinema because you just never know
- 10:40Speaker 4: what he's gonna do. I'll give you a sneaky one.
- 10:42Speaker 3: And you never bet against Kyle Shanahan and running backs,
- 10:45Speaker 3: so I'm not calling it a bad pick.
- 10:47Speaker 4: It's surprising that Kayln Black not invited to the combine,
- 10:50Speaker 4: was the third running back taken.
- 10:52Speaker 3: Yeah, and Kaylen Black's a good player.
- 10:54Speaker 1: You know what were the odds on that?
- 10:55Speaker 4: I mean, it's just an it's you can't even one
- 10:59Speaker 4: like that. So that's the ultimate, Like we think this
- 11:02Speaker 4: guy is sixty seven to one, beeds me
