- 0:21but truck through? All right? How many tucks do you want?
- 0:31About? Fifteen? Give me fifteen checks? What? What? I my
- 0:35sounds nice? What is this a civil lawsuit? Welcome to Chuck's Cantina.
- 0:40Ya YadA, here we go. Oh, let me turn my fucking ringer
- 0:44off. Since you just send me an image? Why you pang? You
- 0:48know it sounds like a bang on my head, crazy one, a weird
- 0:59mood, whatever you want to call me, Chuck O g Patrick Patrick.
- 1:03I'm drinking, that's me. What do you drink? I'm drinking some of
- 1:07that wacky Tobacci. No, I'm just I'm drinking some of that H two
- 1:11as well. But I got a glass, I got a hurdy mugged tea
- 1:15with me on the side. Here, I'm gonna drink some tea. Would
- 1:19you like some tea? And why am I drinking tea today? Chuck?
- 1:23Why are we drinking tea? Well, I'm gonna talks here. We can
- 1:26talk about wh you're drinking. I can tell you why I was drinking tea
- 1:29the last five days? Is that because your throat was a little sore,
- 1:34not just little. I was sick, as I was pretty sick. Yeah,
- 1:41not not weather, not not that nineteen sick, but I was pretty
- 1:45Yeah it set Actually, you know what, really quick? Why why are
- 1:51you drinking tea before I get to my spiel? Apologize? So we're gonna
- 1:53be sipping on that tea? Brother? Oh nice, dude. I like
- 2:00to come on here. You know, we like to talk about whatever on
- 2:05our mind, have a little fun, kick back a little bit. Maybe
- 2:07most of them were drinking water, maybe some tea, and you know,
- 2:09usually some bunch of concoctions as well, some bruce Kys, maybe a little.
- 2:15I mean one time I had some wine. I made a little tequila
- 2:17one time, and we had way too much checkdown. One time we had
- 2:20way too much bourbon during our our slurpelon of kung Pa, which we were
- 2:24kind already talking about. Oh yeah, ready to come on here. And
- 2:29occasionally I don't like to say my purse, my things. I like to
- 2:34grind gears with. We'll talk about someone that does have well, that did
- 2:37havend gears to grind with and they got their allow off their chest, the
- 2:42fine words of Peter Griffin. Oh before that trucks Eatina GMA dot com at
- 2:49truxteener. So wa really grinds my gears? What's that that fucking groundhog?
- 2:59Why run again, Billmore? You should have done? What are you supposed
- 3:05to? What was that? How was that moving out forty years ago?
- 3:07Whatever? Fucking kick that thing of the curb. Yeah, I'm sorry,
- 3:14this is bullshit. I feel like it's time we pick a new animal to
- 3:19predict the weather, like some kind of oxen. What Tally will be?
- 3:25Tully? What? What would? What? What? So we needed to
- 3:30be I mean Tully's too cute to be it. We would need an animal
- 3:32that's kind of like frowned upon for not looking the most. You're not gonna
- 3:38have him starting their own Disney film, let's say that. So yeah,
- 3:43maybe some kind of weasel. We gotta and we gotta go really deaf,
- 3:46because I mean, he mind him On Disney they made a fucking rat star
- 3:49of a film, So like, we gotta, we gotta really going depth.
- 3:52So I'll see some kind of weasel, some kind of garment m maybe
- 3:58a mongoose, mangoo. Maybe to the us. Maybe a porcupine. M
- 4:03oh, maybe a wolverine. That's taken. It's pretty popular. It's pretty
- 4:11pretty popular in the last twenty years. I remember the first time I actually
- 4:15found out wolf was actually an animal, and then I saw then actual picture
- 4:17him. Like that thing's fucking hidious. I doesn't look anything to like think,
- 4:21look anything like you, jackman, that's good hmm. Maybe a maybe
- 4:31a sloth you know only yeah you know, yeah yeah, a slough yeah,
- 4:35slop youse. Want to why like, because apparently this is this winner
- 4:40is taking as long as a sloth does to open its fucking eyes. It's
- 4:44too good. Point rack him up, rack him up, like damn it,
- 4:48I'm tired of this fucking cold. Yeah it's not it's here last night.
- 4:55I bet you guys got s we got yeah, we got a little
- 4:57bit. Yeah, I actually there was a little bit. This sworm I
- 4:59got so work. It's bullshit. April Fools was only supposed to be one
- 5:03day, dude, Like, I get it. We live in the Midwest.
- 5:11The weather here is predictable. We get to lake effect and all that.
- 5:16But but no, we but we have us Midwesterners. We have an
- 5:20understanding, okay from after Thanksgiving to essentially mid March, we know, okay,
- 5:28it's probably gonna be cold, but by the time, essentially when Easter
- 5:30rolls around, it's like, okay, it's over. We're done. We're
- 5:34done with the eggs out like hey, yeah, like it's a bunny.
- 5:38Hey, hey, he's gonna ship chocolate. You're gonna go outside and get
- 5:41the eggs. Find this silver, find this, my gosh, no one
- 5:46knows you've got to find eggs, but it's pretty much something that's basket.
- 5:54Sorry, after you find all the Eastern if you put in the bad goods,
- 6:00boom boom. Then after you find all the eggs, you put him
- 6:02in the basket. Like, hey, we're not gonna have seventy five to
- 6:06weather soon, or maybe we'll have a little bit here and there, but
- 6:10it's gonna be like in the fifties and gif you mind. I know,
- 6:12I'm bitchy right now. It's supposed to be like like decent. It's supposed
- 6:14to be okay next week the old laddage and like a lion out like a
- 6:17limb is supposed to be a little Rainy's supposed to be a little shitty,
- 6:19and it's gonna be nice, right, but it's not supposed to be Like
- 6:23I go to work and there's fucking snow on the ground and there's fucking salt
- 6:27trucks going around in April. This is bullshit. Yeah, but you know
- 6:34what it could be worse? Could be raining. Oh live in a desert.
- 6:41Oh God, that would suck. That would that would that would that
- 6:45would might have to take giant worms to work the Lion. I still haven't
- 6:50seen. Uh you suck. I i't watch a movie. I know,
- 6:55I know. God Dylan Kong is out, so I got I gotta do
- 6:58slur for view work. God's versus corn right, Doune too? What what
- 7:06showgun? Shogun's a show? Yes, so that'll take a little while,
- 7:12a little watch in Sherlock. It put Sherlock on Hulu. That show is
- 7:15so good if you've never seen it, that's I mean, that's the reason.
- 7:17Benedict Cumberbatch, Guys, I see I've seen I've only seen the movies.
- 7:21Well, the movies are not fucking Robert dow Jr. I know they're
- 7:27good, but they're not as good as a show. And obviously the show
- 7:30is set in more modern day, so it's a kind of a reimagining retelling
- 7:33of the classic stories, but doing it's so good Bennett Cumberbatch, Martin Freeman,
- 7:41you know, such good pairing, and it's a really bingeable show.
- 7:46You know. Downside is each episode is like an hour and a half long.
- 7:51It's a it's a doozy, but it's fucking worth it. Yeah,
- 7:56but you know some shows can't even can't even get people to watch him for
- 8:00an hour? Okay, anyway, before we need to you know what that
- 8:05was a jab? I don't even know either. Sorry, you forget about
- 8:09it. You can't watch your show flowing out these days? About what I
- 8:13said? Fu face before we get to before we get to our spiel about
- 8:20what our topic of today if you will, the topic of interesting, topic
- 8:24of interest if you live on the rock. Actually, transition noise is ready.
- 8:31It's we definitely sorry, Every transition noise has that and what's sorry,
- 8:41I don't know started to start show over? What's going on? Welcome to
- 8:46truck now, what's going on with you? Let's go out? You think
- 8:50of the woods. So recently got my car to the show. Uh,
- 8:56I was having a cylinder misfire on a good old cylinder three. Uh,
- 9:00simply a jostled itself out of place, or the cat came to I don't
- 9:03know cars good you know, saw the folks and the fam over Easter break.
- 9:09And little nephew is little nephews growing up, getting big. He's uh
- 9:16talking, more, more interested in stuff. He kept chasing my grandma's dogs
- 9:20around her house. Uh yes, playing with it. And got him some
- 9:26gifts for late Christmas, great Easter gifts. Got him a set of kids
- 9:31golf clubs, Giants, super Soaker ass fucking water blaster. That is that
- 9:39is that literally the name of their new blaster, Giant super Soaker fucking Blaster.
- 9:45Yeah, it's really long title. I should change it. And got
- 9:48stuff got him, got my stuffed piggy that's about as big as he is,
- 9:52and he loves those stuff like he loves piggies. And got his soon
- 9:58to be born brother. Uh some books and some fancy clothes. And got
- 10:03Katie and my sister and her husband diapers and wipes and all that good ship.
- 10:09So so yeah it was a good good Easter. Pops made some polar
- 10:16sausage sour crowd, got got some German potato salad. How you doing?
- 10:20He got some freaking seven lay of salad. You thought six layers was enough?
- 10:28We said fudge you fudgi fudgey. But no, it was a good,
- 10:35good time. You know. Driving on the highway was decent. Drove
- 10:39through a little bit of a storm was fine. Uh. Girlfriend's feeling better
- 10:43after she's you know, got some medicine for whatever she was going through.
- 10:46I'm not going to really disclose too much of it unless I did on the
- 10:50last episode, which you know you you briefly mentioned it. But that's on
- 10:56me. That's on me. We're to your sponsors, we're to your moms.
- 11:03We came to drop bombs. All right, Well he's doing that.
- 11:05I'm gonna do this sure time. Here we go now, but bring it
- 11:28to the show now, you we gonna do. Let float down, get
- 11:33bitter, bit, bit bit. I'm gonna tarticulate the drip dip clause.
- 11:41Why didn't you forget me? I didn't forget you. You're fine. Santa
- 11:48Claus, Santa Claus, Santa Claus, Santa Claus. Oh he's back here,
- 11:54Hold on, give me a second. God, no, God,
- 12:03but no, no. Last episode, you you briefly talked about your other
- 12:09half and that she wasn't feeling too well. Yeah, No, it's that
- 12:13she's doing well. She's doing well, she's getting the vitems up. We're
- 12:16gonna change our diet up a little bit more prayer, prayers. Dude,
- 12:26I can't do that. Yeah, I'm just kidding up over a cold and
- 12:31I spring cold due. Literally, I don't know what happened. Well,
- 12:37obviously I got sick. I don't know what happened. No, dude,
- 12:41I literally woke up, what was it, uh, Saturday morning. I'm
- 12:46just like I just felt it, just like, Okay, it's got like
- 12:48a running nose, A little running nose, no big deal, whatever,
- 12:50a little sniffily, little sniffles. And then Sunday I woke up and it
- 12:56felt like I literally had smoked as many cigarettes as Batman as Christian Bale.
- 13:00Did ever seen it in Batman? Because I literally sounded like that. And
- 13:05oh, dude, you got that thing where your voice gets all fucked up
- 13:07and low and gravelly. Yeah, I should have gone. I should have
- 13:11done my voice acting demo right there, would have gotten signed everybody. I'm
- 13:18trying to get a class going, That's all I'm trying to do. First,
- 13:20the class we're trying to get into a class trying to get into a
- 13:24class. Yes, oh dude, we should do the class together. I
- 13:26agree. We can talk about dead, we talk about we'll talk about anyway.
- 13:35Yes, it's or some ship so hmm. In the fine words,
- 13:39in the spirit of this week of what's going on? What week is it?
- 13:48What do you want to talk about? I wonder what she hold on?
- 13:54Let me sip this tea. Jesus talk about a slurp review the review.
- 14:05No, no, no, I think there's a bit of hubbub in
- 14:11the news lately pertaining to a specific one. Uh. Phil Brooks, otherwise
- 14:16known as Chicago Made Punk see Chicken Yes originally yes, no. So basically,
- 14:26let's set this up. So it's Wrestlmingia week. Obviously they're doing a
- 14:28ton of press and one of the main, uh, one of the main
- 14:33platforms, one of the main providers of these we have to interviews is one
- 14:37Ariel Hawani on his show MMA Hour. Wait, MMA Hour, But you're
- 14:41talking about wrestling? Yes, this week it was the Pro Wrestling Hour because
- 14:46throughout the week he's done many interviews. There's some big names, one of
- 14:50which was none O. There then the infamous in ILLUSTRIOSOK Chicago hometown boy who
- 14:58he's done plenty of news with before. Of course they have a rapport,
- 15:01they have a relationship and there's a comfort there, and I think that Ariel
- 15:07is one of the ones. He's an interviewer that's really respectful of the craft
- 15:11or for wrestling, doesn't want to ask too many behind the scenes questions,
- 15:20but you know, he'll put him out there and if they answer, they
- 15:22answer. If they don't, they don't like whatever. But it's a very
- 15:24good he's a very good interview where he's won awards for that reason. And
- 15:28let's just say that one of the topics of interest for one CM punk was
- 15:37was was one was his time at a certain other company. Might rhyme with
- 15:45smuggle you shmuggle you actually does work. I might rhyme with that and really
- 15:52quick full snoter before I before Patrick finishers. But if you go back anything
- 15:56that has the word punk or Chicago in it, you can hear what's happening
- 15:58with about some of this up before. But continue on absolutely Uh, if
- 16:03you just go through our catalog of the Trucks Can't Tita podcast, Yes,
- 16:07I will not give you the episodes I will make you go through every single
- 16:10one. Yes, he's not gonna. It's not gonna. I'll give you
- 16:12the numbers right now. Put him in the put him in the description or
- 16:18something. Right, that's a good Actually, that's a that's actually a really
- 16:21good idea. Whoa, thanks anyway, who'll ever forget my our live review
- 16:26of Google reviews for Middy's paper? But continue on? Yeah, right,
- 16:30episode seventy seven. Contin anyway, Sorry, I can't tell I'm dying.
- 16:44Yeah, Jesus, sorry, I'm good. Good, I'm texting it right
- 16:52now. I'm fine. Go ahead and continue. Tell me how to do
- 16:56CPR. Yeah kidding me that those it does his lick, So continue to
- 17:02teach your dog how to do CPR. I've seen videos. I'm pretty sure.
- 17:04All right, what were you saying? I apologize here? Okay,
- 17:07with a dog giving your mouth to mouth resuscitation after the face, like that
- 17:11really matters after he licks his buttthole, of course, at least you know
- 17:17what my grandma's dog, that thing, that poor thing. Uh, she's
- 17:19rubbing its butt on the carpet and she had nice anyway. Yeah, so
- 17:26yeah, So the topic was brought up about what happened at the infamous Why
- 17:33happened? William? Sorry, well, he asked about a couple of things.
- 17:37He asked about brawl Out originally, which was as some some listeners might
- 17:41know why seeing punk almost left a w the first time, you know,
- 17:47almost should have probably should have really wasn't realistically, but you know what,
- 17:51then Tony Kahn promised his his own show and splitting the roster and all this
- 17:56fucked up, you know, ideas pessimist, not like passive solutions to the
- 18:07problem, and the problem at hand was that you know certain people on their
- 18:11roster, the one his particular is kind of like Prima Donna bullshit and old
- 18:18Philly Brooks doesn't play that, so to speak. So so I don't want
- 18:26So how do you want to go about this? What should we talk about?
- 18:30What's the first topic of interest? So, because because there's a whole
- 18:34other epilogue to this and the reactions of other people, because I listened to
- 18:40his interview with Cody Rhodes and he was actually he actually brought this up to
- 18:42Cody anyway, But let's let's focus in. Here is the thing I will
- 18:48first focus on, Okay, focus on when it comes down to it,
- 18:52you can listen to the interview for yourself. It's on as he said,
- 18:56the m M A or hour Aaron Holwani. If you're an MMA fan,
- 19:00you definitely heard of Herrol Hajwane. You've definitely heard of Averil Hawane because Dana
- 19:03White has definitely cost out Errol Hajwane multiple times. He's actually if you remember,
- 19:07he is the famous journalist if you will, that Dana White wants famously
- 19:14tried to ban from all UFC fights because he's a journalist. And what do
- 19:18journalists do when they get scoops? They report him. He is the one
- 19:19that reported that brock Lezer was coming back to the UFC five minutes before the
- 19:23commercial aired, which he was not supposed to do, but because he did,
- 19:29because he wanted to scoop, because that's what they do. And all
- 19:32culture, to my knowledge are Juane is not like one of those like the
- 19:34scoopers that's like TMZ and bullshit and I kind I'm actually I'm gonna put that
- 19:38out there, said he said, in the fact I just said that name,
- 19:41but one of those like douchebag websites that posts stuff like that anyway,
- 19:49So when it comes down to it, and you can talk more about it.
- 19:53The main basis of all this was is I had someone on the business
- 20:02side of this thing just opened their mouth and said, hey, let's sit
- 20:07down and talk and hash this out. And not only that followed through with
- 20:12that, none of this ship would have happened. I mean, sure some
- 20:18of that. Could this have happened, yes, but it was one of
- 20:22those things where Okay, for example, you've heard there's the old phrase or
- 20:26the was it the famous phrase? You know, uh, was it?
- 20:29High tides riise all ships, rising tide, Rising tides raise ships, Rising
- 20:34tides raise all ships. Well, there's also rising tides raised all ships.
- 20:37But it's pretty hard for ship to rise when there's a fucking hole in it.
- 20:42And with this ship, instead of trying to plug those holes, they
- 20:47just kept putting more holes in the ship. No, they said, let's
- 20:49take parts of this ship and build another ship, another ship, and then
- 20:55put everybody they were trying to build a ship in water. You seeing the
- 21:00ship they were currently on, the problem is there's nowhere to dock the ships.
- 21:06Right. So but I will get more into my spilator about essentially about
- 21:11ships and boats and nautical Yes, yes, and all talk about that all
- 21:15through the show. This podcast is sponsored by Betting No's that have you heard
- 21:18of pirates? What is continue? I keep peaking on my mic, So
- 21:26I'm gonna try to turn the game down a little bit. Keep peaking,
- 21:30peaking, I see you Hello, Hello, Hello? Okay continue anyway.
- 21:37So yeah, so basically, you know, there are things that he phil
- 21:41couldn't talk about on this podcast, so we'll see him Punk. He didn't.
- 21:45He legally couldn't talk about brawl out situations. He legally could not talk
- 21:48about it at about. That was the only thing he couldn't talk about exactly.
- 21:52I got to say, well, that's like litigation at work, like
- 21:56he legally cannot talk about certain details. But he did talk about was an
- 22:00instance preceding the Wembley Stadium show proceeding was that all in that Yes, yeah,
- 22:08which is cool, which led him being fired. Yeah, so right,
- 22:14And so what happened was that Tony Shavanni correct correct me if I'm wrong
- 22:18in this, but Tony Shavanni specifically came up to seeing Punk backstage and said,
- 22:23hey, we need your help with this. Jack Perry Kid, Jack
- 22:27Perry, Jungle Boy, Once upon a Time, Really quick, sorry,
- 22:30guys, just cut you off, Y pod As. One second reason he
- 22:33came to him is because, like you said, brawl it happened. Punk
- 22:37said, okay, fine, this is not working. Let me go,
- 22:41Tony said, Tony Kahn said no, and Punk's like, let me go,
- 22:44and Tony Khin's like, we're gonna do two shows and we're gonna separate,
- 22:47and we're gonna separate. Everybody release all the prompts. Punk said,
- 22:49that will not work. Second week of Collision, Tony Shavanni, on air
- 22:53commentator, also backstage executive sort of then came to Punk at the second Collision
- 23:00taping, which is essentially punk zome show go Sorry and so so people might
- 23:06be asking, wow, this guy got his own show to do with whatever
- 23:08he wanted. Well, yeah, but he's also a performer. He's also
- 23:15one of the people that should be hell that the same kind of standard as
- 23:21everybody. And now he was put in charge of almost like a management possession,
- 23:26almost like he had to, you know, be the producer on things
- 23:30and be the director and do all this other shit. We'll still being a
- 23:37performer. And you might be asking yourself, well, wait a minute,
- 23:42if I'm the manager of a McDonald's, what am I also making all the
- 23:48food? Wait, just just just for just for better irony? Can you
- 23:53say manager of a target? Sorry he managed? Couldn't manage your target?
- 24:02If you know, if you know, you know, and if you don't
- 24:06know, now you know? Good? Sorry, Sometimes it's nice to just
- 24:12say, motherfucker. It is on audio and a microphone. Yeah, now
- 24:18you always Now you know why Samuel Jackson has it run into every fifth word
- 24:22of a script. Moy laid, let me lay down, be for your
- 24:25check and you can spit some hot ramps. Fuck, mother fucker, mother
- 24:34fucker fuck Mike will be another one. Sorry? Why am I? Why
- 24:51am I? Sorry? I was part of it? Sorry I continue all
- 24:53right? So Shavanni went to second sction. Go now why why why do
- 25:00put the ship on the go to? Well, apparently Jack Burry wanted to
- 25:03do a spot during the show where he threw a sledgehammer through the windshield of
- 25:15a car, real glass, real glass windshield on a rental car, not
- 25:21a prop car, a rented car. Now, a lot of you people
- 25:26are saying, shit, I don't even buy insurance when I vent the cars.
- 25:30I just go balls to the wall and let God take the wheel and
- 25:33whatever. Damage habits. Some people do get insurance. I respect those people.
- 25:40Sometimes you don't want to pay for the insurance. But I digress,
- 25:42because what is important is that you drive that car like a fucking baby in
- 25:48a stroller, Like you hold on tight to the wheel, and then you
- 25:52look out for all danger. It's like, if I have to pay for
- 25:55a dent on this car, I'm fucking I'm gonna be so irate. But
- 25:59he don't want to do that. You avoid it specifically, and then you
- 26:03ask yourself, well, what's the difference between me and driving a car and
- 26:08this guy throwing a sledgehammer through the car. Well, one of you is
- 26:12on film, one of you is on tape, one of you is going
- 26:15live to the world. And I bet that's a lawsuit. I bet that's
- 26:21a huge lawsuit from a rental company, you know, like vandalization of the
- 26:26property whatever. I don't know. It's a dumb idea. It's a stupid
- 26:30idea as it is. And apparently, as the story goes, as legend
- 26:37has it, so many people went up to this kid, this guy and
- 26:42said, hey, don't do this. This is a bad idea. You
- 26:45can't do this. Fucked I'm doing it I'm doing it. It seems to
- 26:51me like this Jack Perry kid was kind of living the gimmick a little bit,
- 26:55you know what I mean. It seems like he was playing this Hollywood
- 27:00nepo baby asshole and then started to drink the kool aid a little too much,
- 27:07or what's a better expression, live the gimmick, meaning he started to
- 27:11kind of become his character in real life. It was and full dislaughter to
- 27:15Jack Perry is the son of uh Luke Perry. Luke Perry. If you
- 27:22don't know who that is, go ask your mom and she'll be like,
- 27:26no, Lee Hill nine, oh Perry, Oh my god. I had
- 27:30a crush on him. And the only reason I know who that is is
- 27:34because my mom had nine two one o on nine two one on on in
- 27:38the background all the time. And the reason I know who Luke Perry is
- 27:42is if you have seen Criminal Minds, you know the episode where Luke Perry
- 27:48essentially is leading a cult. And you also if you remember that episode,
- 27:55you know because it's definitely one of the most memorable episodes for one very particular
- 27:59reason which I won't get into. And there's also the family Guy references.
- 28:04But I digress, I digress. So it just makes you wonder how if
- 28:11he's just changed from who he had been earlier in his career Jack Berry I'm
- 28:18speaking of, or if he was always like this and we just didn't really
- 28:22hear about it, right because either he was surrounded by people that were just
- 28:26telling him yes to everything, or he ran into Phil Brooks. I will
- 28:34say this multiples in a second. There is already another reported instance of him
- 28:41essentially being an asshole to another legend outside the company. But continue on,
- 28:45is it a recent story because he's been working in New Japan and that would
- 28:48say, no, it is a recent story. Yes, okay, oh
- 28:52are you talking about Bully Ray? Correct? Yeah, I listened to that
- 28:55on Busted openly. And so he took his hand and operated the story.
- 29:00Actually he stook it. He shook his put his hand out to shake his
- 29:02hand, and Jack Perry was essentially just was a dick. And so like
- 29:07you ask yourself, if I'm working at a target and there's one employee that
- 29:12is an asshole to everybody, and the manager who goes up to that person
- 29:23see him punk because of collision, and he goes up to that person,
- 29:29or no, I'm sorry. The assistant manager, the co worker goes up
- 29:33to that person and says, hey man, you're being a dick. Cut
- 29:34it out. And he's like, fuck you. And then the assistant manager
- 29:38was up to him and he's like, hey man, it's dumb idea that
- 29:41you're doing. You're doing a bad job. You're being suck okay okay,
- 29:48And the assistant manager get goes gets the manager, and the manager comes over
- 29:52and he's like, hey man, you're being a dick. Cut it out?
- 29:57Or why am I hearing you're being a dick? Why about you being
- 30:00an asshole? Right? And so basically this this is the story, right,
- 30:03and you know Punk has to shut the idea down or whatever. I
- 30:07don't know how that process really plays out. I don't remember that specifically,
- 30:11so but let's class the quick, the short short version. A medical doctor
- 30:18told him no, and apparently the doctor was cussed out. This according to
- 30:22Punk, by the way, and was cussed out. Remember that this story
- 30:25had came out. It came out, had come out months ago as well.
- 30:30Doctor told him no, he cussed him out. Allegedly. Another person
- 30:33told him no, cussed out. Allegedly, Tony Shivanni told him cussed out
- 30:37allegedly, and then that's when Tony got Punk involved, and according to Punk,
- 30:41there was no confrontation. He simply said no. He said, I
- 30:47probably would have wanted done the same thing. He goes, look, we
- 30:48don't do that here. Someone can get hurt, and also you can make
- 30:51us look bad. Pretty much the gist of it, and he said there
- 30:55was no issue. I do you. I went to Mary and didn't they
- 31:04took a trip across the pond? Didn't they talked across the pond? Didn't
- 31:08I He took a skip across the pond for the for you know, we're
- 31:12gonna take a prossal trip across the pond for the biggest, biggest night ever.
- 31:17And let's give jack Berry the benefit of that. Maybe the flight sucked
- 31:19and he was just crouchy, but at the biggest wrestling event, you know,
- 31:27whatever, the fucking statistic is biggest attended. I don't know what the
- 31:32fuck it is. They have some record, it's some kind of rest.
- 31:37I think it's I think it's eighty one thousand paid. I think who you
- 31:40ask how many people? When? It? Anyway depends on what the depends
- 31:42on what the turnstile says. Too, so we turnstyle lies because some people
- 31:48might skip that anyway, or a cleaner might come in who knows, just
- 31:53that person watching the show. But we didn't not count because they didn't pay
- 31:57for it, and they worked it like how many people do anyway? How
- 32:00many pairs of eyes has been on this play anyway, it doesn't matter because
- 32:05they all got five starts. Brother, So what proceeded to take place was
- 32:15on this live program. To the camera, Jack Berry decided to call attention
- 32:22to their discussion and mock Phil Brooks our best best guy from Chicago. And
- 32:34you know what. It reminded Old Philly of certain other events that had transpired.
- 32:43He started to have flashbacks to a press conference with some muffins. He
- 32:47started to have flashbacks of a rogue cowboy going off script in the middle of
- 32:54the ring of a rogue peg warmer. Sorry take warmer sounds like a homophobic
- 33:02slur. Really it doesn't, because when I first heard that phrase, I'm
- 33:07like that, that's like because again, we don't don't stop for that.
- 33:09I'm like, wait, what what is he talking about? So you're right,
- 33:15and he went to the big boss, the big well because you didn't.
- 33:22Essentially, he's smashed. No, you're fine. Jack Berry smashed a
- 33:24guy on TV onto a car. He smacked the glass afterwards and said real
- 33:29glass crambya river, which we have definitely joked about multiple times on this podcast.
- 33:32So yeah, anyway, and so obviously that's a direct message to punk
- 33:38right by the reports, Yes, it has to be if if Well afterwards,
- 33:45yeah right, I was gonna say, I think it's been confirmed.
- 33:51It's been pretty much confirmed that part anyway. But yeah, he tells Tony
- 33:55to handle it or he will the same message he's tried to communicate Tony Connor.
- 34:00That is Tony big tone, the con the con man, old,
- 34:07what's the what's the fun word? Old sugar nostrils, sugar sugar sniffer,
- 34:17allegedly allegedly allegedly a legendly jokingly allegedly will never be in fine to a scrum.
- 34:29I sent you check your Instagram. I sent you a video with a
- 34:31guy that looked just like Tony conn after he's lost all his money. Anyway,
- 34:37Well that's not sorry, it's just not ahead. You gotta watch the
- 34:47whole video because I just saw them nail. But yes, So what happens
- 34:58next? What happens next. That's what happens. Next one Punk's goes backstages,
- 35:01so he essentially asked his boss, the owner, fix this, handle
- 35:08this please, to which, according to him, his boss goes, what
- 35:12do you want me to do? What do you want me to do?
- 35:15Do you want me The loss of his short is he is pissed because his
- 35:21boss won't handle the situation, which, as anyone would be professional. And
- 35:28the thing is, all these things that we have talked about, what could
- 35:30have not saying could have been kabash. I'm not gonna say that, but
- 35:32at least there could have been at least an attempt of this shit not happening,
- 35:37had Tony opened his mouth or at least try to facilitate some kind of
- 35:39like resolution, which he never did allegedly, And I mean, I don't
- 35:44even know I could say allegedly because by all accounts there was never anything attempted.
- 35:49So Jack comes to the back and Punk goes, why do you have
- 35:52to do this in internet bullshit, to which he says someone among the lines
- 35:57that like Jack's like says, do something about it. And then Punk made
- 36:00the comment of to quote Chill Son and can't get too close. So by
- 36:02that I took that Jack got in his face because if you know the chill
- 36:07son and can't get too close, that's because I can't remember who it was
- 36:10a guy, and you have literally I can't remember his name. Yeah,
- 36:15was getting in his face and going fucking crazy, and yeah, when you're
- 36:17talking about like UC fighters, you're talking about like killers, then you gotta
- 36:22do you gotta protect yourself, right. So, and then Punk just simply
- 36:27said enough. He said that he didn't punch him. He said, I
- 36:30thought I did thesp. I'm not gonna say responsible. He gotta did the
- 36:34responsible thing sort of, and he put him a side chokehold, and then
- 36:37the whole thing was done. He slightly choked him, slightly choked him.
- 36:39For his exact words, I only choked him slightly. And then essentially Losery
- 36:45storready told Tony he quit, and then he's someone un wrestled. He went
- 36:51back to his room, right, He went back to his room, and
- 36:53then apparently Samoa Joe and Jerry Lynn Jerry Lyn and convinced him to go out
- 37:00because the last time he was gonna it was the last time's gonna rather wrestle
- 37:02Joe, wrestle Joe. And then of course, you have tens of thousands
- 37:07of people that came out to see the show, and he's at his heart,
- 37:10he's a guy that loves for wrestling and he was once a fan,
- 37:14so he was gonna do the right thing those people, which makes sense,
- 37:17you know, and they went out and had a fucking good match. I
- 37:23con show you world, We're gonna keep the voice Limba with some tea.
- 37:37How do you think, folks, is this boring? I mean, what
- 37:40would you do if you had a coworker acting that gro being a prima donna.
- 37:49I'm gonna say it, and especially in the show, because it's like,
- 37:53imagine you go to a fucking rendition of Hamilton and in the middle of
- 38:00all the sweet sweet rhymes, in the middle of sweet sweet, it's all
- 38:07good. I was just trying to elaborate to the people, like trying to
- 38:09compare it to like, you know, it's not just a matter of like
- 38:13your coworker talking shit and being agro. It's a matter of like show business,
- 38:16right. Imagine if you went to a rendition of Hamilton and all of
- 38:21a sudden, in the middle of this is going in the middle of the
- 38:23guy saying his name was Alexander Hamilton. His name was Alexander Hamilton. And
- 38:30then all of a sudden and he's a total fucking cushle brendon the houshole.
- 38:35Like he starts calling about the real person and being a bitch, and he
- 38:38ate my fucking tuna fish like he just like he took his fucking sandwich out
- 38:43of the fridge backstage in the green room and ate it. And he's got
- 38:45to express that beef. It's like, yeah, are you justified? Maybe
- 38:49right, but like, you're spoiling the show, is what I'm trying to
- 38:52get at. You're spoiling the show. Well, and the problem is,
- 38:54and here's what it all comes out to. Okay, there's really mainly two
- 39:00props. It's two main things. One it's the fact that there and I'm
- 39:02not gonna say Tony Kinson then competent owner because you want to want and you
- 39:07mentioned the Cody Rhodes interview. Essentially, he was asked point point. Cody
- 39:10Rhodes was one of the guys who founded AW. He was an executive.
- 39:13Tony cons guy who paid the bills obviously, but Tony, but Cody Rowse
- 39:15essentially was one of the He was an EVP that's he was actual the actual
- 39:20vice president. And he asked and he was point Blake, that's by Arijwane.
- 39:23Do you agree with Punk's assessment? And he said no. But then
- 39:27he went on to say, you know, like essentially he said like I
- 39:29wasn't there for this and blah blah blah. But also he said, he
- 39:31said, based on his experience and all that jazz, right, But who's
- 39:36to say, who's to say that Cody wasn't one of the main reasons why
- 39:40things stayed organized in a way. Well, and then here's in this mo
- 39:45I was to say two because later in the interview, Cody roads Is said
- 39:49he will never talk about why he left. He said that it interviews he
- 39:52then is documentary. He also mentioned what happened. He didn't say what happened
- 39:57with his wife, but it made him very emotional. But it made him
- 40:00very emotional to the point and even when he left like those one of the
- 40:06main things was something happened with his wife there that like he's like, I
- 40:08can't stand by that, and that was one of the rumors. So when
- 40:14it all comes down to his Punk, as said, Tony kan is a
- 40:16nice guy and you're the thing some people and like people were saying like,
- 40:19oh he no. All he did was essentially he went on there and said
- 40:22Tony Khan is not a boss and Jack Perry is a fucking asshole. That's
- 40:25really all he said. He didn't say anything negative about the bucks there,
- 40:30Kenny. He said like, yeah, it happened, and no one would
- 40:32talk to me, and it was pretty clear at certain point they did not
- 40:36want And he talked about the pagries, but about and he talked about coming
- 40:39down coming to UK and like having to take a fucking bus or whatever.
- 40:45Yeah, because no one there was a pick up, which is like it's
- 40:46your top start I get, I get fucking to you, you know,
- 40:49fucking call Cabana. I had a fucking rot, you know what I mean.
- 40:51Like it's just it's just petty, petty high school bullshit, but hitty
- 40:57high school bullshit happening like middle of the highest level wrestling companies, one of
- 41:01the number thing. It's number two. There's no there's no doubt. But
- 41:07the point trying to make is what it all comes down to is a lot
- 41:09of this could have been and I'm gonnay, it could have been a botch.
- 41:12At least an attempt because sometimes just seeing just seeing the person in charge
- 41:15make an attempt, it might be one of those things where it's like,
- 41:19hey, guys, we need to make this work because so and so is
- 41:21game pissed just like they should have started with, you know, like,
- 41:28because if you have let's say, Jackperry is not the only one. If
- 41:30you have your highly paid athletes, performers, whatever, stars trying to attempt
- 41:37something dangerous, flashy but dangerous and just tucking unreasonable, and they're not adhering
- 41:45to doctors like responses. They're not adhering to producers there, and you have
- 41:50to bring in somebody because of some you know, perceived rank, their level
- 41:58experience, but they're not officially in that role. They shouldn't be in that
- 42:00role in the first place. To have to wrangle you know, well,
- 42:04it just unnecessary and stupid. Well, and the theme I'm trying to say
- 42:07is like the two biggest problems, like Tony Kahan was not stepping when he
- 42:14should have multiple times, and the way there's been other it's not just punking
- 42:16the in the elite in the bucks. There is there's been fights backs other
- 42:20guys because things that should have been handled by him or not even behind by
- 42:24like a team that he sets up, which again it's you know, there
- 42:28are newer companies that growing pains are bound to happen. But it's like when
- 42:30this shit was happening, Okay, guys, it's like you're three and four,
- 42:32like you guy should have some of the ship figured out by now,
- 42:35like shit was still happening. And the other thing, the other problem was,
- 42:37and you can say what you want about Dave Meltzer and them, you
- 42:42know I I I'm not one of these guys that you know that you know,
- 42:45I'm not one of these like guys in the quote unquote called the cornette
- 42:46you know, I like cornette that says fuck Dave Meltzer and shit like that.
- 42:51Or I'm not one of these Dave Meltzer you know sympathizers who goes,
- 42:54oh no, I think he says it's true, even though a lot of
- 42:55should he said, especially recently, is wrong. Maybe Dwayne Johnson said he's
- 42:59full of shit, But well, de Dwayne would know this all started because
- 43:04and as Punk pointed out, when a certain report came out saying that he
- 43:07had gotten called Cabana fired, which he didn't. Cabana was never fired,
- 43:13his contract ran out, and that's one him and Page went in celebrity for
- 43:17himself and made that we're promo on air, which none not he did.
- 43:22Pump didn't understand it. Shavani understand it. Most importantly, the hounest i
- 43:25understanding because it's like what are you talking because like he's like, oh,
- 43:28I'm here to workers' rights and I'm here to save this company from here.
- 43:30It's like, where is this. It's like, Bunk's a good guy,
- 43:32Like what the fuck are you talking about? And of course never falled among
- 43:35because it never made sense. And yeah, exactly, it's like if you
- 43:38go to see Romeo and Julia and then all of a sudden, Romeo is
- 43:42like, you know what, you the suck and I'm out of here.
- 43:46And then like it's like that doesn't make sense to the audience, that doesn't
- 43:49make sense to the other actor, that doesn't make sense to the rest of
- 43:52the story you're trying to tell. I mean like you're trying to plan a
- 43:54program and build like a story. And then the guys is like, you
- 44:00know what, I'm gonna make up my own story. But and here's the
- 44:06thing the day and it's and it's not just by the way. I'm not
- 44:08gonna say. I'm not just say it's just Dave Meltzer and them. It's
- 44:10not because other plays are reported stuff too that hasn't been true, and some
- 44:13the reports that that has been true. But they're the main emphasizers because they're
- 44:16the ones that have and it's no secret, and they have the best connections
- 44:20with the company. That's no secret. And the problem is, and I
- 44:23don't know. I don't I'm not subscriber because here's the thing, especially,
- 44:28I'm just United State. It's the entire planet. You make your money,
- 44:30you spend however you want it. I think no personally, if you spend
- 44:32your money on things like the Wrestling Observer, it's fucking dumb because whenever they
- 44:37post is on Twitter or write in fucking two seconds afterwards, that just made
- 44:40But hey, you want to read it and look at it, or have
- 44:43a hard copy. Actually, they would do hart copies anymore. That's actually
- 44:45they don't. Courtnet made fun of that shit. They only do hard copies
- 44:49anymore. But I don't often play I don't often play clips. I don't
- 44:54often you know, do stuff. I have a thirty second clip for you.
- 45:00I want to play for you. I don't know if you've heard about
- 45:01this now. I also want to make I'm also the first guy to say
- 45:05context is key. This does get cut off a certain point. And this
- 45:09is not from their channel. I mean it is from their channel, but
- 45:12it's not from like their direct channel. This video is on their YouTube page,
- 45:16but it cuts off before this part. But it's like, Okay,
- 45:20if they said this, when do you think you want to play the context
- 45:22after that? But this is from this is a video I phone online that's
- 45:24going around the internet. Going back to this said article of what essentially started
- 45:30which even Polk said started this whole dilemma about when these reports came out that
- 45:34he got Cold Cabana fired. Okay, this is from this week. Okay,
- 45:38this is Brian Hilvers and Dan Meltzer from The Wrestling Observer. Got it.
- 45:44Oh one more thing, fair use bitches, that you and I reported
- 45:49this whole Colt Cabana thing and that we were the genesis of all of this.
- 45:53That is absolutely, one hundred percent not true. And that story was
- 45:57all over the internet long before we ever talked about it, and when we
- 46:00did finally talk about it, we were trying to explain what was going on
- 46:06in the Hangman riddles in the Hangman promo, and we made it very clear
- 46:12that there were people who believed that story. We never said that was the
- 46:15story. We never said that's what happened. I did say that was the
- 46:20story. And I'm sorry ran over you, Rebettal. Here's the thing.
- 46:30And and I don't know about the last couple of years of the two of
- 46:32them, but there's been clips over the last six months of them like arguing
- 46:36with each other, like them contradicting each other, which is hilarious because they're
- 46:37two main guys of that. But anyway, I'm trying to make and I've
- 46:39actually met them a quick handshake or two nice guys based on just a quick
- 46:45yeah, based on fifteen seconds, thirty seconds, they didn't try to kill
- 46:49me. They didn't. They didn't. They were doing the walk by,
- 46:52but they didn't do the whole like, hey, guys, they like stopped,
- 46:53shook her hands. How you doing? All good? Good, have
- 46:55a good night, everyone, get home safe, like cool, Thank you
- 46:59guys, Thanks Brian, Thank Brian Dick, especially because he asked he doesn't
- 47:06even know what articles are, and also too, and and then and on
- 47:08top of that video, there's litterally articles of that He's written posts and saying
- 47:12this bullshit, which he just said, we didn't write it, which is
- 47:15like, no, you did. The point I'm trying to make is the
- 47:20problem is a lot of this ship stirred, but one thing because you know,
- 47:23like I said, like a guy didn't sep into handle situation when he
- 47:27should up it. Simply it's because some of these guys believe what was reported
- 47:30or I'm not gonna or what was told to me. Because again, like
- 47:32it's these guys are close with those guys. It's not a secret a fact
- 47:35these guys and those guys pretty close, right. But the but even even
- 47:39even if Dave Meltzer, okay, per example, Patrick and I, it's
- 47:45no secret we're very close. He was the best man in my wedding.
- 47:47I call his mom mom number like I have. I have a lot of
- 47:52moms. I call his mom mom. You know what I mean. And
- 47:58like the point I'm trying to make it if if they were to report Charles
- 48:04O'Donnell said Patrick's mom's an asshole, which I don't say that. No,
- 48:09no, she's probably listening right now, but no, she's not she's instead
- 48:15of you just call me, instead of you coming up to me, cussing
- 48:21me out, yelling at okay, this is literally you would come up to
- 48:23me start as one would come up to me, start cussing at me,
- 48:29yelling at me, saying all the ship, but you would never say why
- 48:31you're doing it. It makes no sense. So then when I find out
- 48:36why you're doing it, man, I'm just going to did you say this
- 48:39about them? Exactly? But that never happened. And then let's just let's
- 48:44just say you and I are at work, and let's just say instead of
- 48:46you know, our moms are are not They're not asshole. But instead of
- 48:50us calling our mom's assholes, we say, O, our co worker who's
- 48:54on our equal levels an asshole. Instead of that, they go to their
- 49:00boss to like you said, hey, so and so call me an asshole.
- 49:04They're staying aldership behind my back. They have yet to they haven't talked
- 49:07to me about it. I don't know what is coming from. Can you
- 49:10handle it? Because now it's starting to affect my job and also affect the
- 49:15morale of our office. Usually the boss would go, let me handle you
- 49:22know, go to HR. I'm not about that, Yeah, let's handle
- 49:23that instead of it sounds like, and what still sounds like to this day
- 49:28is nothing's happened. No one took charge of it, the person who should
- 49:32take charge of it. Okay, come for another good example. Your father,
- 49:37great guy, super great guy. My father, super great guy,
- 49:42my stepfather, super great guy. All three of them we have been,
- 49:45at some point in their careers involved in leadership roles. They at times had
- 49:53to do the uncomfortable thing and address a certain problem. Sure there were they
- 50:00probably handled it in a normal tone of voice. And of course, because
- 50:05the three men I'm talking about were blue collar, there's probably more times than
- 50:07that they had to motherfuck somebody, but they were doing it to address the
- 50:10situation. The bottom line is, even if you're trying to calmly handle a
- 50:16problem, or if you're having to motherfuck somebody to handle a problem. For
- 50:21the listeners that I'm picking up on, the jargon, uh, to motherfuck
- 50:25somebody is to cuss them out, to get really angry and use expletives in
- 50:32explaining your position of anger. Right. But the point, but the point
- 50:37is regardless, there was never anyone trying to fix the situation calmly or motherfucked
- 50:43somebody. That's the person who shouldn't be doing it. That never happened by
- 50:46all accounts. And by the way, it's not just it's not just the
- 50:50situation, it's multiple situations. And that led to brawl out, which Punk
- 50:53said, if you don't handle it, I'm going to handle it. You're
- 50:55not gonna like the way you're gonna handle it. And then braw happened,
- 51:00which he can't even talk about how his dog was involved, which is hilarious.
- 51:05But then but then you know, uh what happens, and he thought
- 51:10to talk about that because yeah, I didn't sign NDA and they fired me
- 51:13and I was even under not compete, which is fucking mind boggling. But
- 51:17the point I'm trying to make is like, it's just this is the ship
- 51:22that is just annoying because here, here, and this is the thing I
- 51:23want to talk about, like the one thing, the whole, the full
- 51:25stol coming back to this, Okay, it is no secret in in many
- 51:30industries a lot of people are friends with one of them, even if they're
- 51:32competing companies. There are people who are the best of friends that work at
- 51:37Walt Disney or Warner Brothers and were both going again or Marvel or DC.
- 51:42Perfect example, James gott head of DC is no secret. He was gonna
- 51:45be Kevin Feikey's second in command at one point, no secret at all,
- 51:51but then should happen and then it didn't work out. But now here he
- 51:53is at DC, and my all accounts look like it's looking pretty good.
- 51:57I mean we haven't seen any but it's not looking pretty good. Yeah,
- 52:00it is trying to make it really good. It comes full circle when one
- 52:02of their best injury, which is just crazy, unfortunate, right, and
- 52:07the real rumble of all things. Right, but if it comes full circle
- 52:09when a guy who is not then quiet about the whole situation that being aj
- 52:14Styles literally said, and this is literally today every he says, like,
- 52:17look, it's so secret. I'm good friends with those guys. I've heard
- 52:21everything that's happened. But since I've seen Punk come back here, I don't
- 52:24have a I don't have a single thing to complain about him. And he
- 52:27literally says I can't wait to work with him. And he didn't say it
- 52:30like I'm the good company, like no, he literally said it like you
- 52:34no, like you could tell like he he meant he was you can tell
- 52:36like he was shocked, but he's like, no, I can't wait to
- 52:38work with him. Yeah, And again, what does that tell you when
- 52:43again, this is all it all stems from. This is all from Colt
- 52:46Cobe, which, again, you defend your friends. I get that.
- 52:50I even like you defend your friends at the very end, even though you
- 52:54you might only know ninety nine percent of the situation that's going on. That
- 52:58one percent might be the one thing that makes you go, I can't stand
- 53:00by you. But until you know that, you're gonna do what you gotta
- 53:04do, and I respect it. I'm the same way Laura knows. I
- 53:07defended people in my life. I probably shouldn't have, but that's what you
- 53:09do for your family, your blood, or your your closest friends. Believe
- 53:13me because Punkins said one time they try to have a talk, or he
- 53:16tried to talk, could try to talk to him, and he said,
- 53:19I cannot talk. I will not talk to us the lawyer's persent, which
- 53:21makes fucking sense. Good, okay, But then here's the thing. If
- 53:23it meant that much to him, he should have told Tony, hey,
- 53:25get a lawyer, let's get a layer. Let's fucking let's hash this out,
- 53:29be done with it. Yeah, because Dave Melter even said, even
- 53:31said himself multiple times, he said that when Punk came in and this week
- 53:37he said, I told Tony myself, you need to get them in a
- 53:40room to hash this out. Because he said that, he said this week
- 53:43and he said that this is not gonna work. And guess what, it
- 53:49didn't work. And now see him Punker is a w w wee and they're
- 53:54having record grouse and record sales, record everything. And the Rock came back
- 54:01to so that helped too. Yeah, but the Rock was supposed to have
- 54:07an appearance today and he showed up two hours late and they and apparently it's
- 54:12just because he's a heel. He's living the gimmick's living a Gimi brother,
- 54:17unless you're on it as Instagram where he's like you fuck your story. Also,
- 54:21by the way, I'm a man who's bald by my conditioner, which
- 54:28I'm not gonna say. I'm not gonna say I had this guy would have
- 54:30kept it all by the conditioner, which I'm not gonna I'm not gonna say
- 54:36the name Proby's reasons. But if you I'm not gonna dude, I'm not
- 54:39gonna lie to you. It's no secret. If you've heard the rock story,
- 54:44it's the seven bucks story. He lives by that because his stuff is
- 54:47very cheap. I have his his body, not body, his soap.
- 54:54Oh and I'm not again, I'm not a guy who's like you know,
- 54:58I'm a simple guy. Brushman, clean my hair, clean my arm pits
- 55:01good to go. In the business that I currently work in, mostly with
- 55:07my wife, I learned a lot from her. I did invest it,
- 55:10and not invests. I did buy some of his I cream or losh.
- 55:15It's lotion, not cream lotion. And I will tell you it's one of
- 55:21those things where I definitely know of some results, but it's one of those
- 55:23things where I don't even ask. I walk out and my wife goes,
- 55:27WHOA, your eyes look fantastic. Oh thanks, sweetheart, And you know
- 55:34what and everything And I'm not gonna say the name of it or where it's
- 55:37sold, but everything. Again, when you're a dude, we don't want
- 55:38to buy that shit because we see how expense that that shit is. But
- 55:42when everything that Dwayne is selling is under ten dollars, pretty reasonable. And
- 55:45by the way, this stuff actually works, that smells port a fucking ton.
- 55:50It smells pretty good too. It's like, say say the fucking name,
- 55:52say my name, say my company's name. Basically gave people all the
- 55:58clues they could need. It's like oh yeah, it's like yeah really,
- 56:05yeah, dude, Yeah, that's the first for the podcast that Have you
- 56:07ever been your tongue before? I've definitely donet once or twice I remember.
- 56:13But the point we're trying to make people, the point we're trying to get
- 56:16to is whenever you're down and you need to motherfuck someone because they're not trying
- 56:22to work things out with you, or you're trying to conversation with them and
- 56:25they're still not working out with you, just go get some fucking muffins.
- 56:30Pretty good muffin. I'm a good muffin, I see right for the day.
- 56:35And here's the thing. My favorite type of muffin. So Patrick knows,
- 56:43I'm a huge chocolate chip, cookie anything fanatic a bunch, but lately
- 56:49I've been gaining very into the banana breads. Nice banana bread, nut nice,
- 56:54and a little banana well she's been making I love banana bread lately.
- 57:00But maybe next time we'll make banana bread muffins. I mean you are gonna
- 57:05be you are gonna be up here in about two weeks. You can bring
- 57:07some Bana breen. You want me to bring you some muffins, I just
- 57:09marry some fucking well, bring you some muffins, shut, I'll bring it.
- 57:15You think I won't bring you muffins? You think I won't bring you
- 57:19muffins? Yeah, this guy, But and I want to get to the
- 57:22full things here quick. I think I'm gonna buddy and muffins for you before
- 57:24they get there. Jesus, Christ, Jesus. We might seem like we're
- 57:29punk advisors. I mean, yeah, we're fans, but we're also fans
- 57:31of a like it's we're fans of that. But here's a fact, even
- 57:37before he left, I'm more of a new Japan guy. But I know
- 57:40you're you're you're definitely a new Japan guy. But here's a fact. The
- 57:44company's I'm not gonna say quality, because some of it hasn't changed. That's
- 57:49the problem because you need to you need to change scenes up for Rinna once
- 57:52in a while. Because actually the ratings came out and like the I think
- 57:54the rains have gone down cepically, like it's like at least thirty to forty
- 57:57thousand the last five weeks, and they had out a lot of debuts and
- 58:01like and it's just it's just nothing. They had a fucking Okada debut.
- 58:05Okada debuted right well. And the problem is it's like even like these quote
- 58:10unquote people who are like loyalists or even starting to be like, you need
- 58:15to do something, you gotta change some stuff up. And it's just like
- 58:19even when those people were saying it, you need to maybe look in the
- 58:21mirror. Be likely just friends with all the rest all my employees. I'm
- 58:30just friends with all of them. That's the problem. And as and as
- 58:34Punk said, like if he didn't say, he didn't say, he didn't
- 58:38say Tony CON's a fucking idiot. He's like, no, he said,
- 58:40Look, he is a very nice guy, but he's not a boss.
- 58:45And so people are cut out to be a boss. By all accounts,
- 58:50Kevin don't want to learn how to become one. By all accounts, Kevin
- 58:52Dunne was a fucking weirdo and no one ever wanted to work with him.
- 58:58But he was a vincent. He was vinsic. Man's right here, man.
- 59:00But guess what I guess what. Kevin Dunne had a job with W
- 59:04for what forty something years? Well, it's I mean apples an oranges,
- 59:08I'd say to that, so I know, but I'm just saying. I'm
- 59:10just saying, like, like again, at certain points you have at the
- 59:16thing like Vince. There's a famous story where like Vince was like sentially trying
- 59:20to get closer with the talent he would have. He would I don't like
- 59:24the sign of that no good one, then think about that thank you.
- 59:30He was trying to get more, he was trying to be he was trying
- 59:34to learn more about his talent. He was trying to be hip, trying
- 59:37to be hip, and unfortunately, you know, you would have launches of
- 59:39them. He would join him for Caterine and it would just instead of turning
- 59:43into like, hey tell me tell me about tell me about your songs,
- 59:45dang pal, it was hey, let me talk to you about my push,
- 59:51which is like because then he's the boss of course, Like here's the
- 59:53guy, Okay, let me tell him this idea I think I can make
- 59:55so I can make more money. Like that's how it fucking work. So
- 1:00:00yeah, it's like like when the guy you're the guy who signs to check.
- 1:00:04You can't be that's what. You can't be friends with people, but
- 1:00:06it's like you can't like you can't be buddy buddy with everybody. You gotta
- 1:00:08piss some people off sometimes, which and again it sucks. It's also a
- 1:00:14case to be made sorry. Continue. What we're want trying to make is
- 1:00:21we might see that we're punk apologies or sent were, but like we also
- 1:00:23we also want everything to work out for everyone. But the bottom line is
- 1:00:27we've heard all these stories the last two years. Obviously, you're with any
- 1:00:30story or anything on the TV. Everything is subject to your own opinion,
- 1:00:35which is fine, but by all accounts, everything or I mean this is
- 1:00:40me personally was always in his favor, and this interview just made it seem
- 1:00:45more light, especially the way they reacted on Wednesday night, like a bunch
- 1:00:49of fucking crime because you're thing, you don't respond to it at all,
- 1:00:52which is what they should in the first place. Or you have the guy
- 1:00:54himself go out there and say exactly what EDGE said, Well, what did
- 1:01:00they say to it? I didn't even They essentially went out there to this
- 1:01:02like whole like positivity promo and like no negativity. This is where the best
- 1:01:06people wrestlel blah blah blah. But then you have the young bucks going out
- 1:01:08there saying scapegoing and crying a river like fund yourself. I mean, so
- 1:01:15just ship like that. But what I'm trying to make two is it just
- 1:01:21sends mixed signals as fuck, Like I get that they're heels, but like,
- 1:01:23you don't have to you don't have to do that ship, No you
- 1:01:28don't. Which and they they did the same thing with like Kenny biting somebody's
- 1:01:32hand in the ring. Uh in the here's the punk never said the work
- 1:01:37and what happened first time in Chicago. They're literally they're quote unquote watching buck
- 1:01:42shots doing gts is. It's just like which. By the way, side
- 1:01:47note, I cannot wait for the booze that. I cannot wait for that
- 1:01:53show in two weeks now. And jp W Winterest Arena still cheap seats available,
- 1:02:01folks, they keep a million more states Man. The cards a little
- 1:02:06wonky. I hope that it ends up being a title match, not a
- 1:02:08special singles match between nights, and I thought it was supposed to be a
- 1:02:12title and I saw the specials thing, I'm like that's not what I originally
- 1:02:15thought. I don't there might be the X Division times wake up. I
- 1:02:20don't like so, but yeah, no, at the end of the day,
- 1:02:25like and this weekend is like it's supposed to be a celebration for all
- 1:02:28wrestling. It is the super Bowl weekend for w WrestleMania. It's always fun
- 1:02:31that stuff to watch. It's like the one were even like fans who aren't
- 1:02:35wrestling like watch it. Like like some of the text me I got from
- 1:02:37Canada this week about like, oh, hey, so I hope Snoop Dogg's
- 1:02:39there. I really do. I really hope Snoop Dogg there's yeah. But
- 1:02:49well no, it's just it's one of those things where it's like, yeah,
- 1:02:51it has to be positive, and like the poin I'm trying to make
- 1:02:52is too, is like positive, positive, positively at this one company who
- 1:02:55should be in a much better place than they are, they keep focusing on
- 1:03:00this bullshit because again, like, okay, what does anyone talking about what
- 1:03:05happened in the show last night? No, the what they were talking about
- 1:03:07is all they kept. They kept. They referenced the interview a couple of
- 1:03:10times. You know, look at your fucking roster, Will Rosprey, Ocata
- 1:03:15Monet is there now, well that and then they're not doing a good job
- 1:03:20with that. I'll be the first to say that, I'm sorry. Like
- 1:03:22the person she hasn't wrestled a match and she ra has a title shot and
- 1:03:24they're like, oh, we have a ranking system and that went away and
- 1:03:28then they brought it back, but then it went away and then they brought
- 1:03:30it back. It just it makes no fucking sense. So it's wild and
- 1:03:35yeah, but at any rate, Yeah, I know I will be watching.
- 1:03:42We'll be doing a super review that we I can't promise you was coming
- 1:03:45to a super review. We'll do a subrity WrestleMania next week. So yes,
- 1:03:46more Slovenia next week. Ha ha. I mentioned before, I do
- 1:03:51have I work with other shows to go on their stuff, and so I'm
- 1:03:52not gonna say who because I've said it before and it doesn't happen or vice
- 1:03:55versa, and I don't want to do that ship so stay two for that.
- 1:04:00I'll be posted on the socials. The I keep saying Twitter, but
- 1:04:02people, it's no, it's Twitter. Anybody you posting just like like like
- 1:04:08like like if I'm going other shows who's coming on and stuff like that,
- 1:04:13but also you know, Facebook, Instagram laps. I did say I am
- 1:04:17gonna try to get onto threads. I was, I want to read them.
- 1:04:21I just I hate having so many socials. I don't like that.
- 1:04:24I'm just like, oh no, that's it. I never like, oh
- 1:04:26nothing, because you can just you can connect them on where you like.
- 1:04:29You post on one, like you know, if I post them on Instagram,
- 1:04:30goes on my Facebook. But I just really don't want to have another
- 1:04:33one. But I mean threads, I mean people thought it was a joke
- 1:04:36at first, but it's actually doing okay, so we'll see. Yeah,
- 1:04:40but any rate, that's my spield. Do you have anything you like to
- 1:04:43get off your chest before we uh go cry yourselves a river. I'm set.
- 1:04:47I'm set. Yeah, I'm gonna go break some real glass. Nice
- 1:04:55one. As I mentioned at Chuck Dantina on your socials, Chucks Cantina gmail
- 1:05:00dot com. Remind you all to stay safe if any drinks like we,
- 1:05:02I mean we didn't drink like that tonight, but if you had a trinkle
- 1:05:04yourself, please get home safety smart, enjoy some brassling this weekend. Hopefully
- 1:05:10if you live in a nicer area where the weather is nice. Go outside
- 1:05:13and play. The Great Tom McGuire once said, and uh yeah, you
- 1:05:18know what, enjoy yourself. Live once a while. We have some fucking
- 1:05:21muffins. Take care. That was nice, Thank you, That was nice.
- 1:05:30Actually were real, all right? Names Alex Joe's Dragons, Wroot,
- 1:05:35the Amrink of the Dragons game, pull the in the water in the Dragons, Gay
