- 3:46Don Armstrong: C I R fitting.
- 3:47Don Armstrong: C I R C L I P S.
- 3:50Don Armstrong: Circlips.
- 3:51Don Armstrong: I don't know what those are.
- 3:53Don Armstrong: It keeps the piston uh there with the connecting rod.
- 3:56Don Armstrong: I don't know.
- 3:56Don Armstrong: I'm not sure.

- 4:20Don Armstrong: And the list goes on and on.
- 4:22Jeff Dziekan: So you mentioned airbag earlier.
- 4:23Jeff Dziekan: Is Takata is that debacle mess still going on?
- 4:27Jeff Dziekan: No, well the company went out of business.
- 4:29Jeff Dziekan: Right, right.
- 4:29Jeff Dziekan: But I mean, are they still doing I don't know, I'm asking.
- 4:33Don Armstrong: If you have a Takata airbag, no matter what year it is, it's in a in a in a in a recall, you take it to whatever manufacturer that Takata airbag is in, you can go on NITSA and look up all the cars that those things are in.
- 4:45Jeff Dziekan: I just didn't I you know you never hear about all the nasty tragedy stuff anymore.
- 4:50Don Armstrong: It continues to go on.
- 4:51Don Armstrong: Yeah.
- 4:51Don Armstrong: Yeah.
- 4:52Mike Marrs: What did they replace it with?
- 4:55Don Armstrong: Um apparently another airbag, but not made by Takata.
- 4:59Mike Marrs: Yeah.
- 5:00Mike Marrs: That's what I understand.
- 5:01Mike Marrs: I thought that was the problem.
- 5:02Mike Marrs: They were all made by Takata at one time.
- 5:04Don Armstrong: At the time they were, but the replacements are not Takata because they went out of business.
- 5:09Don Armstrong: All right.
- 5:10Don Armstrong: Let's do something fun for a change.
- 5:13Don Armstrong: Right.
- 5:13Don Armstrong: Please.
- 5:14Don Armstrong: We're not gonna we're not gonna gripe, we're not gonna gripe about it.
- 5:17Don Armstrong: We're just gonna do it, and it'll be fun.
- 5:19Don Armstrong: And you're gonna make it fun, darn it.
- 5:20Don Armstrong: You hear me?
- 5:21Jeff Dziekan: Okay, so we need Heitzman and we need George and anybody else that wants to play.
- 5:25Jeff Dziekan: You can play at home, play on your own.
- 5:27Jeff Dziekan: You get your in-wheel time decoder ring and you can figure all this out.
- 5:30Don Armstrong: Okay, for first up, a 1970 Dodge Coronet.
- 5:37Don Armstrong: Now, this vehicle became all sorts of other vehicles in a different trim level.
- 5:43Don Armstrong: Yep, sure did.
- 5:44Don Armstrong: Hot rod city.
- 5:45Don Armstrong: I don't think that this is one of them, although it kind of looks like one.
- 5:48Don Armstrong: It's got a uh black vinyl roof on it, and it's got uh B stripes on the back.
- 5:53Don Armstrong: It looks really good.
- 5:54Jeff Dziekan: Yeah, it does look nice.
- 5:55Don Armstrong: Um never was a big fan of the the grill on that particular car, but anyway, 70 Dodge Coronet.
- 6:01Don Armstrong: How much do you think that that sold for?
- 6:03Don Armstrong: Now let's uh just to be fair on this this is not some sort of a hot rod.
- 6:09Don Armstrong: Daily driver, it looks like it's a daily driver.
- 6:12Mike Marrs: It says it's an RT, but well, that's a daily driver.
- 6:16Mike Marrs: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 6:17Don Armstrong: I'm gonna go 21.
- 6:19Don Armstrong: 21.
- 6:20Don Armstrong: I've been watching bear it.
- 6:21Don Armstrong: Uh Jeff Heitzman says 12.
- 6:23Don Armstrong: Okay.
- 6:24Don Armstrong: And uh George says 27.9.
- 6:28Don Armstrong: It sold for 23.1.
- 6:29Don Armstrong: Uh so you guys are all pretty much in the same boat park.
- 6:32Don Armstrong: Not bad.
- 6:33Jeff Dziekan: I've been watching Barrett Jackson, so here you go.
- 6:35Don Armstrong: All right.
- 6:35Don Armstrong: Uh up next.
- 6:37Don Armstrong: Not one of my favorite Ford Mustangs, but the 1984 model year.
- 6:41Don Armstrong: This is a white one with uh looks like completely stock.
- 6:45Don Armstrong: And uh it's is it a convertible?
- 6:47Don Armstrong: Yeah, convertible record.
- 6:49Jeff Dziekan: Okay, it looks like a dodge from the front end, doesn't it?
- 6:52Jeff Dziekan: To me, it it does kind of, yes.
- 6:55Jeff Dziekan: All right, I'm gonna go uh nine grand.
- 6:58Don Armstrong: Nine grand.
- 6:58Don Armstrong: Yeah.
- 6:59Don Armstrong: Jeff says nine grand.
- 7:01Don Armstrong: There are boys that in the in the Bay Area there.
- 7:04Don Armstrong: They uh they have any clue what the what a guess on this?
- 7:07Mike Marrs: David threw out 20,000, but he was a little, I don't know if he was a little late on the other car or what, but Jeff.
- 7:13Don Armstrong: Haxman says 23.
- 7:15Mike Marrs: Yeah.
- 7:16Don Armstrong: Jeff likes it.
- 7:18Mike Marrs: Oh David, uh George said, David, if you're listening, George said, put your pants on.
- 7:25Don Armstrong: Um you don't need pants to bid.
- 7:27Don Armstrong: No.
- 7:28Mike Marrs: Oh.
- 7:28Mike Marrs: George says 1999.
- 7:30Don Armstrong: One of the things that we're I'm trying to do is I'm trying to get Jeff Heitzman into something that he can join the fray with the rest of us.
- 7:41Don Armstrong: And uh, you know, Jeff, this would be a good car for you, an 84 Ford Mustang.
- 7:46Don Armstrong: It's a convertible down there, down there, down there in the Bay Area.
- 7:50Don Armstrong: I don't see Jeff driving that car.
- 7:51Don Armstrong: You don't?
- 7:52Don Armstrong: Jeff's a tall guy.
- 7:53Jeff Dziekan: He is a big guy.
- 7:54Mike Marrs: Well, yeah, but it's a convertible.
- 7:55Mike Marrs: Drop the top.
- 7:57Jeff Dziekan: And get in.
- 7:58Mike Marrs: Yeah.
- 7:58Jeff Dziekan: Okay, so what is it?
- 8:00Jeff Dziekan: How much?
- 8:01Jeff Dziekan: I said nine, and the other guys are are bidding.
- 8:03Jeff Dziekan: Are they bidding?
- 8:05Don Armstrong: We ain't got time to linger on this.
- 8:07Mike Marrs: That one, that one, that one.
- 8:11Don Armstrong: Well, when you just zip through them and couldn't see them.
- 8:14Mike Marrs: Oh.
- 8:14Mike Marrs: Jeff Heitzman says 23.
- 8:16Mike Marrs: George David Ainsley says 14, and George says 19, 999.
- 8:22Don Armstrong: $6,700.
- 8:24Don Armstrong: I see.
- 8:24Mike Marrs: There you go, Jeff.
- 8:25Mike Marrs: Heitman.
- 8:26Mike Marrs: There it is.
- 8:27Don Armstrong: I'm collecting them all.
- 8:28Don Armstrong: Now, this one here is special.
- 8:30Don Armstrong: It is a 1958 Chevrolet Impella.
- 8:35Don Armstrong: Yeah.
- 8:35Don Armstrong: Convertible.
- 8:37Don Armstrong: And um, I will tell you that this is nothing to sneeze at.
- 8:41Don Armstrong: This looks like an all-original.
- 8:44Don Armstrong: And uh Binder skirts.
- 8:47Don Armstrong: Oh, but look what it's got.
- 8:49Don Armstrong: Look, this is that a 409 under the hood.
- 8:53Don Armstrong: You know, she's real fine, my 409.
- 8:55Don Armstrong: And if it's a 409, the valve covers look like 409-ish to me.
- 8:59Jeff Dziekan: Kind of do, yeah.
- 9:00Don Armstrong: Um, then this is a very rare car.
- 9:03Don Armstrong: So keep that in mind, placing your bids.
- 9:07Don Armstrong: $60,000.
- 9:08Don Armstrong: $60,000 is what uh Jeff says.
- 9:11Jeff Dziekan: Jeff Heisman says$3,500.
- 9:13Jeff Dziekan: $35,000.
- 9:14Jeff Dziekan: I'm sorry.
- 9:16Don Armstrong: And George says$39,999 and 99 cents.
- 9:21Don Armstrong: Well, none of you were anywhere close.
- 9:22Don Armstrong: It's$100.
- 9:23Mike Marrs: David went.
- 9:25Don Armstrong: Well, um, you ready?
- 9:26Don Armstrong: Yeah.
- 9:27Don Armstrong: Uh if I had a drum, I would roll it.
- 9:30Don Armstrong: A$58 Chevrolet Impellate convertible with a$409 and it sold for$141,750.
- 9:38Jeff Dziekan: If you add up all of our bids, that's what it comes to.
- 9:40Jeff Dziekan: Yeah.
- 9:41Jeff Dziekan: That's what we're all going in on it.
- 9:43Jeff Dziekan: Real big.
- 9:43Don Armstrong: Dude, that is a very rare car.
- 9:45Don Armstrong: Very rare.
- 9:46Don Armstrong: It's got the 409 in it.
- 9:47unknown: Anyway.
- 9:48Jeff Dziekan: Those wheels look pretty sharp to you.
- 9:50Don Armstrong: Okay.
- 9:50Don Armstrong: Next up, this is a Dale Earnhardt car.
- 9:52Don Armstrong: That's I I I have to compare it to that because he drove that car with the number three on the side of it forever and ever and ever.
- 9:59Don Armstrong: That body style.
- 10:00Don Armstrong: I actually have a friend of mine that has a black uh Earnhardt Monte Carlo.
- 10:05Don Armstrong: 87 Chevy Monte Carlo.
- 10:07Don Armstrong: Uh, probably has a small V8 in it, whatever that was in the day, 350 or something.
- 10:13Don Armstrong: With no horsepower, but it looks good.
- 10:16Jeff Dziekan: How much?
- 10:17Jeff Dziekan: And what weird what you're saying?
- 10:18Jeff Dziekan: 87.
- 10:19Jeff Dziekan: Okay.
- 10:19Jeff Dziekan: I'm gonna go 11 grand.
- 10:21Jeff Dziekan: 11 grand.
- 10:22Jeff Dziekan: Yeah, I'm gonna go 11,000.
- 10:23Mike Marrs: Complete with the velour interior.
- 10:25Jeff Dziekan: Yeah, and that's very nice.
- 10:27Jeff Dziekan: Very soft on your butt.
- 10:29Jeff Dziekan: I you know, I why don't they bring that back?
- 10:32Jeff Dziekan: I wish they would.
- 10:33Jeff Dziekan: I'd buy that.
- 10:34Jeff Dziekan: 24,999 for uh Mr.
- 10:36Jeff Dziekan: Skeleton.
- 10:38Don Armstrong: Okay.
- 10:38Jeff Dziekan: Jeff Heitzman is a 41,000 good 4199.
- 10:42Jeff Dziekan: 41,000.
- 10:43Jeff Dziekan: You must have hit an extra key there.
- 10:44Jeff Dziekan: Yeah, I must have.
- 10:45Don Armstrong: All right.
- 10:46Don Armstrong: Well, um, it sold for 17,588.
- 10:52Mike Marrs: It's an SS.
- 10:54Don Armstrong: Is it?
- 10:54Mike Marrs: Yeah, if you if you look right below the mirror there, it's got the SS add on it.
- 10:59Don Armstrong: Okay.
- 11:00Don Armstrong: All right, next up, a 2008 Ford Shelby Mustang.
- 11:06Mike Marrs: Yeeha.
- 11:07Don Armstrong: An 08 Shelby Mustang.
- 11:09Don Armstrong: This is a good looking car.
- 11:10Jeff Dziekan: Another rag, yeah.
- 11:12Don Armstrong: It's got the Carrera bar on it.
- 11:14Don Armstrong: So um I don't think that it's uh too far-fetched for anybody to buy this car.
- 11:22Don Armstrong: The only problem that I have with cars like that is that at some point in his life it probably got ragged on a lot.
- 11:27Mike Marrs: Oh yeah.
- 11:28Don Armstrong: Yeah.
- 11:29Mike Marrs: Surely you jest.
- 11:31Don Armstrong: Shelby Mustang.
- 11:33Don Armstrong: 2008.
- 11:34Jeff Dziekan: Convertible.
- 11:35Don Armstrong: Convertible.
- 11:36Don Armstrong: Jeff says, uh I'm 31.
- 11:38Jeff Dziekan: Jeff Heisman's 42.
- 11:42Don Armstrong: Well, you all both of you all have overbid.
- 11:46Jeff Dziekan: 33 for George, 33 plus 9.
- 11:48Don Armstrong: 21, 264.
- 11:51Jeff Dziekan: And what year is it?
- 11:52Don Armstrong: It's an 08.
- 11:55Don Armstrong: So it's 18 years old.
- 11:58Mike Marrs: Oh, they would think so.
- 12:00Mike Marrs: We all overbid.
- 12:01Mike Marrs: It's okay.
- 12:02Don Armstrong: All right, here you go.
- 12:03Don Armstrong: For you Oldsmobile fans.
- 12:05Don Armstrong: 86 Oldsmobile 442.
- 12:12Mike Marrs: That hood looks like it's a little I was gonna tell you on that hood, I was looking at some of the other pictures.
- 12:17Mike Marrs: That is the clouds.
- 12:19Jeff Dziekan: I was gonna say it's either the other clouds or uh, yeah.
- 12:22Mike Marrs: There's other pictures where that's not there.
- 12:24Don Armstrong: Yeah.
- 12:24Don Armstrong: Except for the wheels, I think it looks pretty stock.
- 12:28Don Armstrong: Uh aftermarket wheels on there.
- 12:29Don Armstrong: I think that if uh I I don't know as if I'd put any aftermarket wheels on that.
- 12:33Jeff Dziekan: I'm gonna go uh fifteen to seventeen.
- 12:37Don Armstrong: Wait a minute.
- 12:38Don Armstrong: Fifteen to seventeen.
- 12:40Don Armstrong: It was a nice range.
- 12:42Don Armstrong: Yeah, no, we need something more precise now.
- 12:44Don Armstrong: All right, I'll go 15.
- 12:45Don Armstrong: 15.
- 12:46Mike Marrs: All right, here's George.
- 12:48Mike Marrs: George is it?
- 12:49Mike Marrs: I think George missed the key, but he said 999.
- 12:53Don Armstrong: Yeah, they drug it out of the junkyard.
- 12:55Mike Marrs: Yeah, yeah.
- 12:56Don Armstrong: And Heinzman's 22.
- 12:58Don Armstrong: Well, it sold for the Mr.
- 12:59Don Armstrong: Heitzman who would win this one.
- 13:01Don Armstrong: 1968 is what it sold.
- 13:03Don Armstrong: David's close to 18.
- 13:04Don Armstrong: Okay.
- 13:05Don Armstrong: Got two more to go.
- 13:06Don Armstrong: All right.
- 13:07Don Armstrong: Next up is an 05 Ford Thunderbird.
- 13:09Don Armstrong: I will never forget when they first came out with that car.
- 13:13Don Armstrong: I drove it and I was not impressed with it, and I hated the look of it, and I still feel the same way about it.
- 13:18Don Armstrong: It's an 05 Ford Thunderbird.
- 13:22Don Armstrong: So you're going to buy the car just because it has a Thunderbird name.
- 13:25Don Armstrong: This one here has the optional removable top with it's got the opera window in the back.
- 13:31Don Armstrong: Could you make it any uglier?
- 13:34Mike Marrs: Well, the color, the color, I'm sure, helps a lot.
- 13:37Don Armstrong: Oh, yeah.
- 13:38Don Armstrong: 12.
- 13:39Mike Marrs: So but you drove one of these, Don?
- 13:40Mike Marrs: With the VM?
- 13:41Don Armstrong: Yeah, when it was when they when they first came out.
- 13:44Don Armstrong: But it was it was probably somewhere around 2001.
- 13:51Don Armstrong: Is that when they first came out?
- 13:52Don Armstrong: Somewhere in there?
- 13:53Don Armstrong: Same car, same body style.
- 13:55Don Armstrong: You know, not much different.
- 13:56Don Armstrong: But uh they quit making that pretty quick because it didn't sell.
- 14:00Don Armstrong: Well, hello.
- 14:01Don Armstrong: So how much for the O5 Thunderbird?
- 14:03Jeff Dziekan: Heisman says 17, I say 12.
- 14:05Jeff Dziekan: Uh George is a little under 10 grand at 99999.
- 14:08Jeff Dziekan: Well, you win.
- 14:09Mike Marrs: And then uh David came in at 12,000 as well.
- 14:12Don Armstrong: Well, so uh Heitzman, I'm sorry, uh Jeff Zeken and David Ainsley.
- 14:17Don Armstrong: It sold for$13,388.
- 14:19Mike Marrs: Right.
- 14:20Mike Marrs: So they could split it.
- 14:21Mike Marrs: Each one of them take a bucket seat.
- 14:23Mike Marrs: God, no.
- 14:24Mike Marrs: Take a hard top and a soft top.
- 14:26Don Armstrong: No, that'd be one of those you'd kill your friend.
- 14:28Don Armstrong: Um last up, this is a 1981 DeLorean DMC 12.
- 14:36Don Armstrong: But it looks like it was in the process of being restored or stripped or something because uh it's in a chop shop.
- 14:42Don Armstrong: It's in a chop shop.
- 14:44Don Armstrong: I would imagine that somebody said, ah, what a great project car, and then said, uh-uh.
- 14:48Mike Marrs: I think he I think he said it set for like 12 years in his garage because it was he was gonna get to it eventually, but he gave up.
- 14:55Jeff Dziekan: Yeah, one of those kind of things.
- 14:57Jeff Dziekan: Does it have a flux capacitor?
- 14:58Jeff Dziekan: That's gonna raise the price.
- 15:00Mike Marrs: I did not see one.
- 15:00Mike Marrs: There's an engine shot there, but I don't recognize the flux capacitor.
- 15:04Jeff Dziekan: I'm gonna go eight grand.
- 15:06Jeff Dziekan: That's that's pretty much parts car.
- 15:09Mike Marrs: Well, Mr.
- 15:09Mike Marrs: Heisman agrees with you at eight grand.
- 15:13Don Armstrong: Anybody else?
- 15:15Mike Marrs: I think everybody else is still in a state of shock that that it's up there.
- 15:19Don Armstrong: The 81 DeLorean DMC 12, you see pictured here, sold for$17,745.
- 15:25Don Armstrong: My guess is it doesn't really Joyce's punitive, punitive, punitive damages.
- 15:31Don Armstrong: Yeah, you'd never want to buy a car like that.
- 15:32Don Armstrong: Not me anyway.
- 15:33Mike Marrs: Well, that's a serious basket case.
- 15:36Mike Marrs: You know, you literally got to put it in baskets to get it home.
- 15:39Don Armstrong: Yeah.
- 15:39Don Armstrong: Yeah.
- 15:40Don Armstrong: Not not for me.

- 15:57Mike Marrs: We can do it.
- 15:58Don Armstrong: All right, we'll figure it out.
- 15:59Don Armstrong: Yeah.

- 18:00Mike Marrs: Note from home.
- 18:01Mike Marrs: Yeah.
- 18:01Mike Marrs: That's it.
- 18:02Don Armstrong: The note from the home.
- 18:04Don Armstrong: From the home.
- 18:05Don Armstrong: All right.
- 18:05Don Armstrong: We're going to do driving destinations now, Mr.
- 18:08Don Armstrong: Mars.
- 18:08Don Armstrong: You got that queued up and ready to go?
- 18:10Don Armstrong: Oh, uh, Jeff's got it cued.
- 18:12Don Armstrong: Yeah, all you need to do is say the words, Mike.
- 18:14Mike Marrs: Um I'm ready for it.
- 18:16Mike Marrs: And I was really looking forward to this one because Mother's Day is coming up, so you've got to do a little planning ahead for some of these things if you want to make a nice little getaway.
- 18:24Mike Marrs: And so these five places are going to be, they're less than a half a drive from half a day's drive from Houston, Austin, San Antonio, even Dallas, Fort Worth.
- 18:33Mike Marrs: So we're talking about a Hill Country getaway here, but we're not talking about a regular getaway.
- 18:38Mike Marrs: We're talking about glamping, Texas style.
- 18:40Mike Marrs: And what you want to do then is uh have you know it's we're talking about open skies, a glass of wine, and uh maybe a hot tub and no kids around for the majority of these.
- 18:53Mike Marrs: So the first one we want to start with is Safari for the soul.
- 18:56Mike Marrs: Now, this place is outside of Austin in Marble Falls, built specifically for couples.
- 19:02Mike Marrs: There's no kids, no crowds.
- 19:04Mike Marrs: Got some luxury tents that are tucked along the river that's not very far from Lake LBJ.
- 19:09Don Armstrong: Would you please wait a minute, wait a minute, would you please define a luxury tent?
- 19:15Mike Marrs: I'm working on that.
- 19:17Mike Marrs: So you got the luxury tent, you're gonna have possibly private hot tubs, outdoor showers, movie setups.
- 19:22Mike Marrs: Sometimes some of these will have air conditioning, but this particular one doesn't.
- 19:26Mike Marrs: It's more of a tamp, it's glamping, more of a wine set out and look at the stars type of thing.
- 19:33Mike Marrs: And uh but that one's at Marble Falls.
- 19:35Mike Marrs: Now, if you want to, I got one up here I'm saving for you, Don.
- 19:38Mike Marrs: If your idea of glamping is a little towards more towards modern, the wall Walden Retreats Hill Country.
- 19:45Mike Marrs: So this is another 21 and up venue that you can go to.
- 19:49Mike Marrs: It's about an hour west of Austin.
- 19:51Mike Marrs: It's based on 96 acres out on the Pertinales River.
- 19:55Mike Marrs: These are architect-designed 500 square foot tents.
- 19:58Mike Marrs: Now they got big glass views of the hill country, they got soaking tubs, big decks all around it.
- 20:03Mike Marrs: They have air conditioning, they have heaters, they've got running waters, private baths, king's eyes bed, and even a kitchenette.
- 20:11Mike Marrs: So it's quiet, but it's out in the middle of the wine country, so you can also get you some wine, sit out, watch the sun go down, and have a big time with mom for the weekend without the kitties.
- 20:21Mike Marrs: Now the other one you can go to is your mom.
- 20:25Don Armstrong: Not your your mother.
- 20:26Don Armstrong: That would be that would be the mother of your children.
- 20:30Mike Marrs: Yeah, okay.
- 20:30Mike Marrs: Mother's Day, mother children.
- 20:32Mike Marrs: Yeah, the mother of your children.
- 20:33Mike Marrs: You probably don't want to take your mom mom.
- 20:36Don Armstrong: Correct.
- 20:36Mike Marrs: Yeah, that's true.
- 20:37Don Armstrong: Just wanted to make sure that we got that straight.
- 20:42Mike Marrs: All right, so the uh Udiscope Echo Glamping Resorts.
- 20:47Mike Marrs: Now, these are some elevated lamping pods.
- 20:50Mike Marrs: They're kind of futuristic.
- 20:51Mike Marrs: They got a lot of sci-fi type stuff in, a lot of technology, but they got private jacuzzies, they got a dining area, they got a patio that you can sit out there and look down across the hill country.
- 21:01Mike Marrs: And because it's outside of Austin, far enough, you can literally see a lot of the stars.
- 21:07Mike Marrs: So it's not like a typical hotel that you want to go to for the weekend.
- 21:11Mike Marrs: Now, if you want something to get a little more laid back on the other end of the spectrum, go to the Juniper Ranch and retreat at Canyon Lake.
- 21:20Mike Marrs: Again, this is 21 Plus place, and they've got bell tents and vintage airstreams so that if you want a little RV feel to it, you can get that.
- 21:28Mike Marrs: They got hammocks, they got hot tubs, and it's near Canyon Lake.
- 21:32Mike Marrs: It's about 30 minutes to Nebrons from there if you decide you need to go into town.
- 21:36Mike Marrs: And it's um it's a place where you slow down.
- 21:39Mike Marrs: You know, you can drink your coffee a little bit longer, but the phones don't work so good, and the internet don't work near as good as the phones work.
- 21:47Mike Marrs: But if you really want some more room to roam, go to the Space Camp Resort.
- 21:53Mike Marrs: Now, this is a resort out in Hunt, Texas, near Kerrville.
- 21:56Mike Marrs: So it's a little bit further out, but uh it's a little more West Texas.
- 22:00Mike Marrs: Is less crowds, but they got the glamping tents and the cabins, and you have access to the Guadalupe River and a private lake.
- 22:08Mike Marrs: So if you want to go do a little river, but again, it's a little bit further west, so you've got the cloud.
- 22:17Mike Marrs: I mean the the skies are a lot clearer because you're away from all the ambient light that's around.
- 22:22Mike Marrs: So it gets out there if you want to do a little nighttime viewing.
- 22:26Mike Marrs: It's a great place to go and do that.
- 22:28Mike Marrs: So you can do all of these things, and you can have a lot of the comfort of being kind of out camping, but you've also got the comfort of uh air conditioning and heating.
- 22:38Mike Marrs: They're all within a lot of things.
- 22:39Don Armstrong: And if it just so happens that you smell weed wafting through every once in a while because hobs aren't nearby, they'll have to take them 30 minutes to get there.
- 22:47Don Armstrong: Yeah, you remember.
- 22:48Mike Marrs: You got to back up to the one up, I think it's up in Hunt.
- 22:50Mike Marrs: That's where you're gonna kind of get in that that secondhand smoke that you gotta watch out for.
- 22:55Mike Marrs: But anyway, so these play none of these places are very big.
- 22:58Mike Marrs: So if you want to go to these places or others like them, you need to plan ahead and make your reservations because some of these only have 11, 12.
- 23:07Don Armstrong: Absolutely.
- 23:08Mike Marrs: I'm gonna give you a map I'll tell you where to go.
- 23:10Don Armstrong: Oh, he's gonna tell you where to go, alright.
- 23:12Don Armstrong: Yeah, yeah.
- 23:12Don Armstrong: Well, he's told me that several times this morning.
- 23:15Don Armstrong: Well, thank you, Mr.
- 23:16Don Armstrong: Mars.
- 23:17Don Armstrong: That was entertaining and fun.
- 23:18SPEAKER_01: Yep, yep.
- 23:19Don Armstrong: All right, time now for the cruise-in and events calendars here on the In-Wheel Time Car Talk Show.
- 23:24Don Armstrong: Jeffrey Zeke happens to have that.
- 23:26Jeff Dziekan: Bet you next Saturday is the Alvin Rotary Club 575nd annual Frontier Day car and bike show.
- 23:34Jeff Dziekan: It goes from 7 a.m.
- 23:36Jeff Dziekan: to 4.30.
- 23:36Jeff Dziekan: It's at 145 South Disney Street in Alvin, Texas, scheduled to take place rain or shine.
- 23:42Jeff Dziekan: So you can get online res uh online registration uh through the alvinrotary.org site.
- 23:49Jeff Dziekan: There is a$30 show registration and uh it'll be fun for everybody.
- 23:55Jeff Dziekan: So get out there in Alvin and enjoy that.
- 23:57Jeff Dziekan: And then we've got the Veterans Benefit Car Show that's coming up next weekend.
- 24:01Jeff Dziekan: It goes from 8 to 3 p.m.
- 24:03Jeff Dziekan: at 3,900 University Boulevard in Tyler, Texas.
- 24:07Jeff Dziekan: It's the Kappa Sigma fraternity and Hazelwood Hot Rods.
- 24:11Jeff Dziekan: They're hosting this event.
- 24:12Jeff Dziekan: Fundraiser supports the Military Heroes campaign.
- 24:15Jeff Dziekan: Uh it's also sponsored by Wagner Cadillac of Tyler.
- 24:18Jeff Dziekan: You go, Wagner.
- 24:19Jeff Dziekan: Uh so get out there.
- 24:20Jeff Dziekan: It begins at 8 o'clock, goes through 3.
- 24:22Jeff Dziekan: Classic car show and fundraiser.
- 24:24Jeff Dziekan: This is in Clarksville Street in Paris, Texas.
- 24:27Jeff Dziekan: You didn't know we had one, it's right next to the Eiffel Tower.
- 24:29Jeff Dziekan: Take the last train to Clarksville.
- 24:31Jeff Dziekan: You bet it's at 3,500 Clarksville Street.
- 24:33Jeff Dziekan: Uh events is open to all car models, call all car makes.
- 24:37Jeff Dziekan: It's a$20 registration fee.
- 24:39Jeff Dziekan: It goes from 9 to 11.
- 24:41Jeff Dziekan: Awards will be presented at 2.
- 24:43Jeff Dziekan: The registration is from 9 to 11.
- 24:44Jeff Dziekan: So the fundraiser will feature cars uh show, awards, games, live music, uh the new glory revival.
- 24:50Jeff Dziekan: There's going to be a bake sale, Mike, and craft sales.
- 24:53Jeff Dziekan: New glory revival.
- 24:54Don Armstrong: Is this a Bible thing?
- 24:56Jeff Dziekan: Uh it could be.
- 24:57Jeff Dziekan: It's very possible it could be.
- 24:58Jeff Dziekan: So get out there and you know if you find out, get on out there.
- 25:01Jeff Dziekan: So uh next.
- 25:02Jeff Dziekan: Take your Bible with you.
- 25:03Jeff Dziekan: There you go.
- 25:03Jeff Dziekan: You can thump it.

- 25:45Jeff Dziekan: There you go.
- 25:46Jeff Dziekan: So Mike's got one going on.
