- 0:13SPEAKER_01: Uh they said uh morning y'all.
- 0:14SPEAKER_01: This one came from uh oh, this was uh well here, let me see if I can give your digits.
- 0:18SPEAKER_01: You have a great username, but 0029 said, Morning y'all.
- 0:22SPEAKER_01: Uh love the morning show and uh also the radio is static.
- 0:25SPEAKER_01: Well, here's the good news.
- 0:26SPEAKER_01: Since you texted us on the app, you can also listen on the app.
- 0:30SPEAKER_01: We are aware that there is a static issue.
- 0:33SPEAKER_01: There is a part that had to be ordered.
- 0:34SPEAKER_00: Now, because that part take it.
- 0:37SPEAKER_00: Is that like an Amazon Is that like Amazon and I doubt that one to three days, or is that like a two-week situation?
- 0:44SPEAKER_01: Well, being the fact that we'd be a subprime member, uh, but anyway, here's the deal.
- 0:48SPEAKER_01: Uh, because, and I'm glad you asked that.
- 0:50SPEAKER_01: Thank you.
- 0:50SPEAKER_01: Because I noticed I'm on the string of emails with, you know, this is where I I know you think I I don't do crap around here.
- 0:57SPEAKER_01: Okay.
- 0:57SPEAKER_01: Uh well, you threw me under the bus earlier in the show for really not doing uh, you know, enough or to your level, whatever.
- 1:03SPEAKER_00: Um I'm just saying nobody asks about you when you leave.
- 1:06SPEAKER_00: I know, and I love that flex.
- 1:07SPEAKER_00: But either way, um but but here's not saying you don't do anything.
- 1:10SPEAKER_00: I'm just saying no one's looking for you.
- 1:11SPEAKER_01: Yeah, that's right.
- 1:12SPEAKER_01: You know what that means?
- 1:13SPEAKER_01: What they know it's done.
- 1:15SPEAKER_01: Um it's just out of the way.
- 1:16SPEAKER_01: They don't have to worry about it.
- 1:17SPEAKER_01: All right, so you're always.
- 1:18SPEAKER_01: Nobody worries about Scott, you know?
- 1:19SPEAKER_01: Right, right, right.
- 1:20SPEAKER_01: Um but you know, of course, you have a bit of a critical job where everybody's like, oh my God, I waited to the last minute.
- 1:25SPEAKER_01: Please fix it, Allie.
- 1:26SPEAKER_01: Make it right.
- 1:27SPEAKER_01: And and what do you do?
- 1:28SPEAKER_01: End up staying here all day and then pitching at me the next day, going, Oh, I'm gonna kill Jeff.
- 1:34SPEAKER_00: Am I wrong?
- 1:35SPEAKER_00: Always do.
- 1:36SPEAKER_00: Am I wrong?
- 1:36SPEAKER_00: Jeff is unfortunately our punching bag sometimes.
- 1:39SPEAKER_00: I love it.
- 1:40SPEAKER_00: I don't know.
- 1:40SPEAKER_00: Texting him at me at 10 o'clock at night might not be the so idea.
- 1:44SPEAKER_01: I got him back this morning, though.
- 1:46SPEAKER_01: Oh, did you?
- 1:46SPEAKER_01: Oh, this is great.
- 1:47SPEAKER_01: I'm an idiot.
- 1:48SPEAKER_01: But hold on.
- 1:49SPEAKER_01: It's okay.
- 1:52SPEAKER_01: Is other workplaces like this?
- 1:54SPEAKER_01: Oh, God, you know they are.
- 1:55SPEAKER_01: I mean, there's there's nobody that's really functional.
- 1:57SPEAKER_01: There's just levels of looking better.
- 1:59SPEAKER_01: Um, but so in this case, I thought to myself, all right, Self, since people are saying, you know, hey, listen, love it, you know, but they're static.
- 2:08SPEAKER_01: Are you aware they're static and this and that?
- 2:09SPEAKER_01: And and and I said to myself, they just wiped your eyes.
- 2:13SPEAKER_01: I did because I'm a little excited and getting spinny.
- 2:15SPEAKER_01: Um, so she's calling grandpa.
- 2:18SPEAKER_01: So at any rate, I emailed, I emailed our operations manager and our two engineers.
- 2:24SPEAKER_01: You want me to read you the email that I wrote?
- 2:26SPEAKER_01: Sure.
- 2:27SPEAKER_01: You tell me if this I love doing this with Allie.
- 2:29SPEAKER_01: She always and the problem is I said it already, so if you tell me this is too much.
- 2:33SPEAKER_01: So I said, uh, good morning, all.
- 2:36SPEAKER_01: First, thank you for the uh work that has been done so far on the Wake 106 primary transmitter.
- 2:42SPEAKER_01: I asked this question only because we is received we have received a number of texts uh on the static.
- 2:48SPEAKER_01: Okay, so far am I all right?
- 2:49SPEAKER_00: You're fine.
- 2:50SPEAKER_01: All right.
- 2:51SPEAKER_01: Um we try to explain to the audience that we had a tech issue and it's being dealt with and to please listen on the app.
- 2:58SPEAKER_01: Ironically, that's where they text us from.
- 3:01SPEAKER_01: I did write that.
- 3:02SPEAKER_01: And I said, however, I would like to ask for a timeline of when the transmitter will be back at 100%, please.
- 3:10SPEAKER_00: This is good because we need to be transparent with our audience.
- 3:12SPEAKER_00: Yeah, this is good.
- 3:13SPEAKER_01: Has the part been ordered yet?
- 3:14SPEAKER_01: When will it arrive and be installed and tested?
- 3:18SPEAKER_00: Shouldn't have been ordered that day.
- 3:19SPEAKER_00: Sorry to interrupt, but it shouldn't have been ordered the day that it broke.
- 3:22SPEAKER_01: This is why I'm the program director and sent the email because that would come across harsh.
- 3:26SPEAKER_01: Thanks again.
- 3:27SPEAKER_01: It will help to share with the audience.
- 3:29SPEAKER_01: Was I okay?
- 3:30SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 3:30SPEAKER_00: So what was the answer?
- 3:32SPEAKER_01: Well, I just sent it.
- 3:33SPEAKER_00: Oh, today.
- 3:34SPEAKER_01: You know how this place works, it'll be three days before I get a response.
- 3:39SPEAKER_00: Or if it's our GM
