Jones Legacy Lives in Student Section | Texas Tech Red Raiders Football News
Texas Tech is reviving the Jones legacy by renaming its student section to “The Jones Student Section at Galaxy Stadium,” honoring Clifford B. and Aubrey Jones—foundational figures who helped build the university and once named the stadium itself in 1947. With a new rebranding push and a Red Raider Loyalty program to help students snag prime seats, fans are being urged to pack “The Jones” for every game, turning the student section into a roaring home-field fortress as the Red Raiders kick off their season against Abilene Christian on September 5th.
