They discuss why the world champion team have decided to stick with the Mexican, but why the new deal may not be all that it seems. They also explain what Perez's situation means for the wider F1 driver market, and in particular for Carlos Sainz, who is leaving Ferrari at the end of 2024, and Esteban Ocon, who was recently announced to be leaving Alpine at the end of the current season.
