  Jonathan: Oh, uh well, I've told you a lot of stories.

  Redge: Yes, yes, of course.

  Redge: But I'm talking about that one story.

  Redge: The Valley Hen Taylor! Valiant?

  Redge: Valley hen Taylor, it is I, Reginald.

  Redge: And here's Jonathan and our new friend Chris.

  Redge: Jonathan and I were about to share your story to help Chris find the courage to make new friends in a new home.

  Taylor: Oh, OMG, Cluck.

  Jonathan: Well, let's all gather round and listen to Redge's story.

  Jonathan: About you, Taylor.

  Taylor: Awesome, like tubular.

  Chris: I'm ready.

  Redge: Once upon a time, there was a valley hen named Taylor.

  Redge: Cluck! She was a seamstress and a student, who, in spite of her demeanour, was actually quite shy.

  Redge: She had trouble talking to other barnyard animals.

  Taylor: And it's like really hard to talk to people sometimes, cluck.

  Chris: I couldn't agree more.

  Redge: One morning, Taylor did something amazing.

  Taylor: I like caught six grains of feed in my beak at the same time.

  Redge: She was so proud.
• 4:35
  Redge: Never before did she have that much trust in herself.

  Redge: She knew the surrounding creatures would agree if they only So she started singing her own praises.

  Taylor: Six and one, like six and one And the giants in the hillside of her feat.

  Chris: Giants Oh I'm way smaller than a giant.

  Taylor: Totally, like me too, cluck.

  Chris: Oh my.

  Redge: When the giants heard they had a new neighbor that did Yes, radical.

  Redge: They wanted to throw a massive welcome to the neighborhood Complete with a celebration of this awesome feat.

  Redge: But Taylor was feeling shy about attending.

  Taylor: It was like totally terrifying.

  Taylor: I kept trying to think of ways I could trick the giants into me, showering them with compliments, trying to look super cool, anything I could think of that would fool them.

  Jonathan: So is that what you did, Taylor?

  Taylor: Actually, I just realized, cluck, that I needed to be myself.

  Chris: But how?
• 5:54
  Redge: Taylor went through three scary trials to prove to herself she belonged with the Barnyard Buddies and the Hillside And that her six in one was worth the celebration.

  Chris: Trials?

  Redge: Yes.

  Redge: The terrifying trials of talking to new neighbors.

  Chris: Oh, what are those?

  Taylor: There are like three of them.

  Taylor: The first was to believe in myself.

  Redge: Which is harder than it looks.

  Redge: Taylor had to call on some of the things she always really loved about herself.

  Redge: To remind her that she was awesome just as is.

  Taylor: I'm like really kind, I'm really smart, I love to paint landscapes.

  Taylor: Oh, and I'm really good at catching feet with my beak.

  Jonathan: Those are all awesome.

  Redge: Then the second trial.

  Taylor: The most terrifying trials of all.

  Chris: No.

  Taylor & Redge: Like yes.

  Redge: She reminded herself once again, she was awesome as is, and achieved some awesome things.

  Redge: Waddled her little hen legs right up the hills, and when she

  Giant: Hello!

  Redge: And do you know what Taylor said in return?

  Chris: Uh nothing at all.

  Chris: She ran away due to f fear.

  Redge: She held her head high and clucked loud enough for them to hear

  Taylor: like hello.

  Chris: Wow.

  Taylor: And they were really nice.

  Taylor: They all introduced themselves to me after we said I got to meet Gizmo, Stomp, Crasher, and Bob.

  Redge: And Bob makes the most excellent scones.

  Taylor: I know, right?

  Taylor: And they gave me a welcome basket and a little certificate to the six and one.

  Chris: Oh, but wait, that was only two trials.

  Chris: Uh trying to remind yourself that you're awesome just the way you are.

  Chris: And going to the party, even though you were nervous to say What was the third trial?

  Taylor & Redge: Dancing!

  Chris: Dancing?

  Redge: That's right.

  Redge: Taylor didn't know until she got there that it was going to turn into a dance party.

  Giant: Come on, everyone! Let's boogie!

  Taylor: Like, oh no, I couldn't.

  Taylor: What if I make a fool of myself?

  Chris: What if you trip and fall?

  Taylor: What if I'm off beat?

  Chris: What if everyone looks at you?

  Redge: These were all of the thoughts going through Taylor's

  Taylor: But all of the gyrating, dancing giants looked like they were so much fun.

  Jonathan: And they already showed you how accepting and welcoming they were.

  Jonathan: Especially when you were brave enough to show them who you

  Redge: That's right.

  Redge: So guess what Taylor did?

  Chris: Uh danced?

  Taylor: Like no one was watching.

  Taylor: Whee!

  Chris: she made so many wonderful friends.

  Taylor: Like exactly, cluck.

  Chris: It sounds like sometimes you may be frightened, and the fear is very real, but it doesn't mean what you're afraid of will come
