Latest / Worldview Matters With David Fiorazo / Pete Garcia: Cyberwarfare And The Facade Of ‘Peace & Security’
Transcript
- 0:00Hey friends, welcome. So in this episode today, as man has progressed through the industrial revolutions, modern warfare methods have become increasingly lethal.
- 0:12Mankind reached the pinnacle of its lethality in the middle of the 20th century with the Manhattan Project.
- 0:18However, as mankind has entered both the information age and now the cyber age, the potential for existential threats has grown, not lessened.
- 0:29In the digital age, traditional warfare, meaning nuclear weapons, armies, ballistic missiles, etc, is no longer the greatest threat to American sovereignty.
- 0:39The greatest threat would be a coordinated, multi-domain attack that never fired a single bullet but managed to destroy a significant portion of the American infrastructure.
- 0:53Pete Garcia is our guest today and we're going to talk more about this next.
- 0:59Welcome to World View Matters, discussing controversial issues, discerning current events, defending biblical Christianity, no topic, off limits.
- 1:14And now, here's your host, David Firazo.
- 1:19So friends, the website, get ready for this one. This may be one you want to fasten your seat belts for.
- 1:24That's why I love to bring Pete on. I love his perspective. Rev310.net. That's ReV310.net as in Revelation 310.
- 1:34Brother, thanks again for your time today. Good to see you.
- 1:37Thanks for having me, man. It's good to be back with you today.
- 1:41You have always, always a blessing. Now I opened up with the opening paragraph from this article that you wrote called zero day exploit.
- 1:50First of all, tell us what that means. And then that first paragraph sounds like it might be a little grandiose when you're talking about is there really a possibility that American infrastructure can be threatened or accessed to this degree.
- 2:07Tell us about that.
- 2:10Well, zero day exploit is basically, you know, mostly attributed to like cyber warfare or to the digital world technology where a.
- 2:23And unknown vulnerability can be exploited, you know, basically. And the people, the reason they call it zero day is because when it's triggered or acted upon the engineers, the folks that that build all this software firmware have zero time to react to it.
- 2:43I mean, it's basically, they're starting at it at day zero. So we saw, we saw this type of tactic, not necessarily in a digital sense, but we saw that with the ways that the Israeli or the IDF, the Shinbed and Musad were able to work together to get these pages through the logistics supply chain into the hands of Hezbollah operatives into their senior officials.
- 3:11We saw that on a certain day this past year, they were able to trigger those pages in such a way that it only injured or killed or maimed the person holding it and did very little damage to anybody around it.
- 3:28So almost a guarantee that it would attack or a maim and harm just those senior key officials within the Hezbollah organization. That's a good example of like a zero day attack, not not necessarily in the digital sense, but just to the kind of a black swan event nobody saw coming and it was so amazing to watch and to see it.
- 3:51I mean, even even our seasoned military experts and intelligence analysts were blown away, it just like just how ingenious this was and how long it must have taken to get to make this all happen.
- 4:02So the way I think about the last part of your question there is that I don't think that it's a possibility that it happens to the United States. I think it's an absolute certainty that it happens to the United States.
- 4:15And I think it will happen right after the rapture of the church.
- 4:20Wow. Interesting. So you gave away kind of the end of the article that we're going to walk through, but I also want to bring something in from the article toward the end. The scripture you shared what you talked about when nobody saw it coming, right?
- 4:35Were they ready? Luke 1726, you talk about the days of know you mentioned this in your article. I think people of some Christians have understood that maybe wrongly peaked to think that the days of know were maybe more sinful, but that wasn't the point.
- 4:52The point was they were carrying on as if everything was normal. Everything seemed like it was going on. They were marrying given in marriage eating, drinking, you know, wasn't that they were more evil. It's that they were maybe oblivious and unprepared. Could you care to speak to that for a moment?
- 5:12Yeah, I think there's a lot of parallels to the days of Noah in comparison to the days we live in.
- 5:17And I liken us to the last generation, but if you look at what are the main issues that we see in Genesis, and then the other accounts and we can put those together, we start to see a picture that looks almost exactly like today.
- 5:31So before the flood, we had angelic fallen angels, intermingling and marrying human women, having offspring in some way that we don't fully understand, but the Bible says it and I absolutely believe that that happened.
- 5:44And we could know that through that, we also had these Nephilim type of people that weren't fully human and they weren't fully angels in that these Nephilim amongst other types of creation, mixing humans and animals and all manner of things level together.
- 6:01That was the, in my opinion, why God, that was the final straw that why God had to wipe out the world because Satan was fully invested in corrupting all of mankind because of what God had told him previously in the garden in Genesis 315, part of the curse was that that out of the seat of woman would come one.
- 6:20And that Satan would bruise his heel, but this one, this human would crush his head and destroy him.
- 6:26So he knew from the get go that out of the race of humans was going to come somebody that was going to spell his doom.
- 6:32And so we know that person to be Jesus Christ.
- 6:35We know that also that biologically women don't have seeds, they have egg.
- 6:39So this was that spoke to the supernatural nature of this birth.
- 6:43But Satan was busy trying to corrupt all of mankind and he did it through a multiple ways through violence, through sexual deviations, through greed, through trying to play God with creating new species and intermingling in unnatural ways according to Jude and Peter.
- 7:04And intermingling was strange flesh.
- 7:07So all of those things are at play today right now.
- 7:10So I know that we are in that generation.
- 7:13And we saw how that, how that particular anti-deluvian generation came to its end.
- 7:19And it was with a flood.
- 7:21And I think that people underestimate the flood that's coming in our day.
- 7:25And you're right. I mean, people are just so initiated with this idea of normalcy bias.
- 7:32Tomorrow is going to look exactly like today because today look like yesterday.
- 7:37It's not we can't live like that.
- 7:39And so the reason why we bring up topics like zero day exploits or black swan events or things like that is just to, to always keep.
- 7:47At least those that come across this message aware of the dangers that that lurk just, I mean, they're just basically hanging by a thread and they could really drop it anytime.
- 7:57And we don't know what tomorrow is going to bring just like the people, just like the world didn't know what September 11th would bring.
- 8:04You know, on September of the 10th, you know, the world was just going about its normal business.
- 8:09And the next day everything was turned on its head.
- 8:12So I think the rapture is going to be that times, you know, a thousand or a million.
- 8:17And I think Satan knows that it's coming. He believes it's coming.
- 8:20And I think that's why we've been seeing all the stuff being geared up for the last, you know, 30, 40 years.
- 8:26For this, for this moment in time, he's waiting, Satan is waiting for one specific moment in time.
- 8:32And that is when that trumpet blast in the, the shop to come up here is yelled by by our Lord.
- 8:39So I think that it's, he's getting everything ready.
- 8:42And we can talk a little bit more about some of the other things he has ready.
- 8:46Yeah, you know what's interesting when you're talking about this, it seems like a lot of people might be fearful when we start talking about these things.
- 8:55But if you have the hope in Christ, I don't know what non-believers or atheists or people that have no hope.
- 9:01I don't know what they do to handle everything and all the possibilities that might come.
- 9:06If this life is all there is, that is hopeless.
- 9:10But Pete, you said something, you said sexual deviations when you were talking about the Nephilim.
- 9:15But I'm also thinking about, hmm, I know this is off topic, but I thought about transhumanism.
- 9:20I thought about robots and bringing AI and all this stuff when you think about sexual deviations.
- 9:26But there's a lot of things that might catch a lot of us off guard.
- 9:29But if we are rooted and grounded in the truth of the Bible and have a little understanding of Bible prophecy,
- 9:35it shouldn't shock us or surprise us, should it?
- 9:40No, no. In fact, years ago, I had one of my students in an academy that I was teaching in was transgender.
- 9:49And I reached out to, I'm going to call him a hymn because he was biologically hymn.
- 9:54After the fact that I just said, you know, captain so and so, and this is when this was still allowed under, you know, President Obama's initiatives.
- 10:04I said, hey, do you not, do you see where this is going?
- 10:08Why, why if you can blur the lines between what is male and female?
- 10:12How much easier would that be to blur the lines between what is human and not human?
- 10:17And you start to think about all the different ways that we can manipulate our bodies.
- 10:22I don't think that there's going to be a return of the giants like we saw before the floods, obviously,
- 10:28because technology today makes that kind of size and, you know, irrelevant.
- 10:34You know, we could, a sniper, a marine sniper, even the worst marine sniper that exists could take out Goliath from like a mile away or, you know,
- 10:42a 500 yards away or whatever in about three seconds.
- 10:45So being a giant doesn't necessarily give you an advantage.
- 10:49But I do think that the genetic manipulation to give people, and I'll just call it like Captain America like abilities or other type of abilities to see in the dark or to have, you know, super intelligence or other kinds of things that augment humans.
- 11:05I think that is absolutely possible.
- 11:08And I think it's there racing to do this right now.
- 11:10And I wouldn't be surprised if we hadn't already achieved it to some degrees.
- 11:18So let's jump back into your article now because they're very important things.
- 11:22I think people have to understand that all these possibilities and there's some terms that I need you to define for us.
- 11:30Pete Garcia to explain Stux net is one of them.
- 11:34I saw Wormus the Stux net worm.
- 11:37I don't know what that is.
- 11:38Maybe some of our viewers are more up to speed than I am, but you mentioned a Stux net STUX net summary.
- 11:47And please explain what that is.
- 11:51It was a like a long term covert cyber attack on Iran's nuclear capabilities there.
- 12:00And I think it was in the tons.
- 12:02And I remember in 2008, I was in Afghanistan about halfway through the tour.
- 12:09They told us that nobody could use any more thumb drives.
- 12:12I mean, that day as soon as we found out nobody could use it.
- 12:16And we were cut off.
- 12:17So immediately everything operations came kind of grinding to a halt because we had to convert everything over to compact this and stuff.
- 12:24Well, that's 2008.
- 12:25Well, two years later, you know, the news of Stux net, Stux net, this computer virus broke out on the news.
- 12:32And it tripled Iran's capabilities, set it back by a number of years.
- 12:39And so that's an example of a zero day exploit that the Israeli joint US Israeli intelligence came and took advantage of.
- 12:50It was some German.
- 12:52They noticed in some of the pictures when Akmedina Jad had was showing everybody around in some of the news clips.
- 12:59They've gotten the labels of some of those like machines in there in their nuclear reactor and realized they were German.
- 13:06And so they just back, you know, found the, found the blueprints, you know, all the everything about those things and found out how to exploit it.
- 13:13And so that's what they took advantage of.
- 13:15Wow.
- 13:16It tripled it for years.
- 13:17Fascinating.
- 13:18So that this is a computer worm.
- 13:20You're talking about that they somehow got in there.
- 13:23So that brings us to the next one.
- 13:26Nitro Zeus summary.
- 13:32So again, with this is under Obama, you know, again, attacking Iran's nuclear capabilities.
- 13:39I honestly don't.
- 13:41Are there air defenses in infrastructure, but I don't know what I didn't hear much about that and what the.
- 13:50The effects were other than to say that that by 2016 it had, you know, the news had broken and that started to raise questions about how much of this war going forward was going to be rooted in the cyber world.
- 14:02And there's a bad scientist blog.
- 14:05It's a dot mill blog.
- 14:06So it's a, it's a military blog that if you're in the military, you can check it out.
- 14:11And I think I mean, I haven't looked at it in years, but I think it's still there.
- 14:15And these guys, man, they all they do is theorize all day long about how to create, you know, weapons of war and what the future battlefields going to look like.
- 14:24And if you read through that, it truly is kind of frightening because in the first few waves are not even, they're not even people or robots or anything.
- 14:31It's just going to be cyber attacks and EMPs and it's going to be disrupting operations, whether it's the power grids, it's the ports, it's, it's multifaceted.
- 14:43So I think when it happens and it could already be in place and that's part of the scary part is that some of these things may already be embedded into the technology we have and it's just waiting for a trigger event.
- 14:54And so I would not be surprised if, you know, we've had so much trade with China and we know that they've been backdooring stuff into the generators, they've been selling us.
- 15:04And amongst other things, you know, so who knows, who knows how much is actually, if they triggered it today, how much of the US economy would just collapse and crumble overnight.
- 15:15That's, I mean, it's scary not in a fearful way if you're a Christian, but it's scary to think all the stuff we've imported from China and our enemies and all these gadgets and technology.
- 15:25And I'm thinking, wow, this is all across the country, we have it in our homes.
- 15:29We've got to take a brief pause with Pete Garcia again, the friends, the website rev310.net, we will be right back.
- 15:36Get free activation now with promo code David.
- 16:07So Pete Garcia, you laid out a hypothetical operation code named zero day and you say or you wrote that it should unfold in four distinct but interdependent phases.
- 16:23The first one is cyber warfare breach and you can touch on that if you'd like the financial collapse is number two, that sounds very possible as well and scary, but I don't want to run out of time before you talk about the EMP strikes over strategic regions.
- 16:42Is it okay to jump to that and cover whatever you'd like because that is something that a lot of us are trying to understand how that would work.
- 16:51So you'd basically take a low yield atomic or a nuclear device, so it doesn't need a big exploit explosion or a, you know, because it's basically you're going to take that up to about 300 miles into the atmosphere and detonated over a location.
- 17:08So if you remember back to, I think it was the third second to last year Biden's administration that had that Chinese balloon that crossed the United States.
- 17:17Yeah, I mean theoretically you could take a balloon and let it just go up as far as it could go and I don't know if that would be high enough.
- 17:23I don't know how much those weather balloons can go, but you can definitely do it through.
- 17:27I wouldn't be surprised if there's a number of satellites already in space that have some type of nuclear explosive package on board, whether it's the North Koreans or the Chinese or Russians or us or somebody.
- 17:38But I would imagine that some of that already exists in space right now over our heads and it's waiting for the right time for somebody to trigger that.
- 17:47But yeah, you talk about anything that's not electronically hardened is going to be basically a new paperweight for you.
- 17:54So it would fry all of the electronics.
- 17:57It would fry anything any system that's not specifically hardened against or in some type of Faraday cage to protect against that type of electromagnetic pulse.
- 18:06But yeah, we would be in a bad way.
- 18:10So even you know, ironically countries like North Korea and some Cuba other places that never modernized in a way, you know, there's still kind of stuck in the 1950s.
- 18:21Would probably fare a little better than countries like ours.
- 18:25It is so dependent on digital networks to run the power grids in the water and the utilities, etc.
- 18:31So you say in the article, you know, give the example of the possibility of it being detonated over the east coast and the west coast, maybe in the Midwest, too.
- 18:41How would that affect people in the Midwest in the less populated areas or would that immediately affect them as well?
- 18:50I mean, depending on the size of the bomb and the altitude, I mean, you're talking about it could pretty much cover a lot of the Midwest.
- 18:59So all the military bases that are currently there, anything again, even if the military systems are hardened, all the infrastructure on the base and in the towns around those military bases, etc.
- 19:10None of those are going to be hard. There's none of them are hardened.
- 19:13So you cripple those things and it's going to have a massive impact on the soldiers and airmen and everybody else law enforcement that they're out there trying to keep society from collapsing when they can't even get in touch with their own family members.
- 19:30So I use the example of that leave the world behind from Netflix.
- 19:34I think that that is the kind of a realistic scenario in certain regards with the confusion that's going to happen when the communication networks go down.
- 19:42And the internet goes down and you know, all other types of communication goes on the fritz people are going to be work.
- 19:49Because the way our country is now we live all over the country. I mean, I've got family in states, other states and most people have family were all kind of spread out.
- 19:57So trying to get in touch with those loved ones is going to be next to impossible. So even though the systems that we have military systems might be hardened, the rest of our infrastructure is mostly not.
- 20:08And that is going to be incredibly destructive when it comes to trying to man some type of a defense or response in this, especially if we don't know where that attack is coming from. It may become from multiple countries.
- 20:20That's right. That's right. So again, friends, in the article we'll put this in the post today. There are several we skipped over cyber warfare breach and financial collapse via short selling and market exploits.
- 20:34We just touched on briefly, EMP strikes over strategic regions, but Pete, I don't want to bring up the whole issue of illegal immigration or I should call it more likely better to phrase it as an invasion.
- 20:48Our southern border being open for so many years, but number four is very interesting. And I think most of us can see this happening at any time sleeper cell insurgency and domestic destabilization. Talk to us about that for a few minutes.
- 21:06So I think there's probably a lot more going on with the federalization of Washington DC and the big push for these ice rates, then probably what the public is aware of.
- 21:21We should anticipate that there is sleeper cells already in the United States, as well as other places, just like it was part of 9-11 now.
- 21:29With the collapse of Hezbollah, the collapsing of Hamas and the utter humiliation of Iran's revolutionary guard and all their nuclear defenses, etc.
- 21:42We have a lot of enemies out there and we have a lot of people that are disenfranchised. So those sleeper cells may or may not stay intact if they're the tops of their leadership are removed.
- 21:52But there are also just enough people doing it for other motives other than say religion, they could do it for financial gain, they could do it.
- 22:00We have so much new technology coming out every single day and every single year.
- 22:05Think about all the different ways that any one of those things that if they play some type of a critical role in our society could be exploited in ways that we just haven't even understood it yet.
- 22:16So I think we're an incredibly vulnerable situation.
- 22:20And I know that there are certain politicians and others that are bringing light, but the good news on this is that, as a Christian, and you understand the times and understanding the seasons which God set forth on his prophetic calendar, I think that we're not going to see that prior to the rapture simply because the way that the events are described in, say, 1st Thessalonians 5 and other passages.
- 22:47Interesting. I was just about to read that because we're down to 5 minutes already. I knew it would go by fast with you, but you do say in your conclusion, you say, I'd be cruel if this were the end of the story, simply giving you all the bad news and none of the good.
- 23:02And you say the good news of this story is Jesus Christ is still in control. God is sovereign. Amen, Pete. You say the good news is that this scenario as realistic as it may be is not a foregone conclusion, despite how easily it could play out.
- 23:20So let's go over to 1st Thessalonians 5. I've always been fascinated by the words, peace and safety, peace and security. We hear those so much, especially from politicians. And I'm sure there are things happening behind the scenes, but it says, concerning the times and seasons. This is 1st Thessalonians chapter 5.
- 23:38You have no need that I should write to you for you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. For when they say peace and safety, then sudden destruction comes upon them as labor pains upon a pregnant woman and they shall not escape.
- 23:58But you brethren, meaning Christians are not in darkness so that this day should overtake you as a thief, meaning we are not unaware of these things. We are not going to be caught off guard Lord willing.
- 24:15We will continue to stay strong in the faith. Pete, you want to lay out some encouragement for us in the last couple of minutes here with that perspective that a lot could happen and we don't know God's timing, right?
- 24:28But we have a secure hope and assurance of salvation and we've got to hang on that.
- 24:36You know, just this that when we read the passages talking about the time of the rapture, talking about the last days, there's this pretty clear scenario that's laid out.
- 24:50Things are going along pretty normally, buying, selling, giving, marrying and giving and marriage, planting and sewing or you know planting and reaping, etc.
- 25:01There's a time of normalcy and then there's some type of sudden, you know, this event happens and then there's sudden destruction and then it's just going to be the storm that comes upon the earth that tests those that dwell on the earth.
- 25:12So that's to me like there's a clear distinction and there's some type of event and the only event that could create the requisite global distraction or global crisis is the rapture of the church.
- 25:24And with a global crisis, you're going to need a global level distraction. So I do believe the church is removed prior to this, but I think the rapture maybe the catalyst that allows you know the rapture doesn't start to 70th week of Daniel, but it certainly opens the doors for everything to unfold that that must proceed forth after that.
- 25:46And by the way, the end of your article, if I can get to it here, you mentioned Mark chapter 13, Jesus said, watch, watch there for he said, what I say to you, I say to all watch reminds me of Matthew 24 when he just got done saying, do you see all these things when they're marveling at the temple, he said, not one stone will be left.
- 26:06Everything everyone we said not one stone here will be left upon another, which will not be torn down. And then later on he was sitting on the Mount of Olives disciples came to him saying, when will these things happen and what will be the sign of your coming at the end of the age and he didn't answer them the way they wanted he said, see to it that no one misleads you.
- 26:29Another translation says do not be deceived. So the word for today, I think Pete is watch prepare be discerning keep on trusting in the Lord God is sovereign anything you'd like to add before we wrap it up.
- 26:43Yeah, we live in incredible times. I mean, this is the I'm absolutely convinced that we are the last generation. I believe that this is the generation, which we'll see the return of Jesus at the rapture.
- 26:53And unfortunately, we'll also be the generation that is plunged into the 70th week of Daniel, which Jesus describes as the worst time that's ever been on planet earth and human history.
- 27:06So what's coming is not a walk in the park. Don't be misled by the by the false teachings that say that we don't that there is no rapture or that the aliens are are going to come back and if the aliens are going to be used, it's going to be used for some type of deception, which is probably why we see these increasingly, you know, interstellar objects flying through close to earth.
- 27:30So anyways, just keep looking up. Keep your your head on a swivel. Lean into the storm and Marinath. I mean, Christ is coming soon. Hold on to what you got.
- 27:44Thank you so much. Pete Garcia rev 310.net. Always good to speak with your brother. Thanks for your time. Thanks for having me today. You're welcome. God bless your friends. And as always, keep speaking the truth about things that matter.
- 28:00You
