- 1:36Speaker 5: before y'all get started.
- 1:38Speaker 6: Dealing with the biggest.
- 1:39Speaker 5: You didn't seen a level of success that I can
- 1:43Speaker 5: only dream of. Empower people that I can only dream of.
- 1:47Speaker 5: This start from somebody like you. This is what you
- 1:48Speaker 5: inspire for me to go out empower my community. In
- 1:52Speaker 5: one definition from from the bossons standpoint, what recession proof
- 1:56Speaker 5: mean to you and your words from what you've seen
- 1:58Speaker 5: experience in the game.
- 2:00Speaker 7: Recession proof to me, that defines success. Whatever you do,
- 2:07Speaker 7: it means you're successful. And I want to keep as
- 2:11Speaker 7: simple as possible. Success begins with self. That begins with yourself.
- 2:19Speaker 7: You gotta be a man of your word, because the
- 2:22Speaker 7: motherfucker that's your right hand man right now that you
- 2:26Speaker 7: losing with may come work with Rose and I may
- 2:29Speaker 7: get money with him. So we can't beat those type
- 2:35Speaker 7: of entrepreneurs or bosses. That's gonna continue running through different individuals.
- 2:41Speaker 7: We gotta build. They gotta trust us. You understand. I'm
- 2:47Speaker 7: invest in my team. I want it to be cool
- 2:52Speaker 7: for us to work hard. Fuck that on our off day.
- 2:56Speaker 7: Let's get flying, go have a meeting, nigguh heavy.
- 3:06Speaker 8: Man.
- 3:06Speaker 7: Let's enjoy this today. We hustling, but we go enjoy
- 3:09Speaker 7: this today.
- 3:10Speaker 6: Recession proof, y'all. Let's get to it. Do it.
- 3:16Speaker 3: First and foremost, First and foremost, man, I gotta say
- 3:19Speaker 3: this off the rip. I fuck with Rick Ross because
- 3:22Speaker 3: he's teaching wealth. That's off the rep. Man R I
- 3:27Speaker 3: pter nipsey R, I p the d m X. All right,
- 3:30Speaker 3: Kobe definitely gotta pay pay our respects before all our
- 3:35Speaker 3: fallen soldiers.
- 3:36Speaker 9: So Rose, I want to get right into this.
- 3:38Speaker 6: Man.
- 3:38Speaker 9: You need no introduction.
- 3:39Speaker 3: What you've been able to accomplish phenomena as far as
- 3:44Speaker 3: you know, starting from the rap game and transition into
- 3:48Speaker 3: being on a Magic Johnson level.
- 3:49Speaker 9: That's how I really look at you with the promise.
- 3:51Speaker 3: So I appreciate it, man, No, No, I appreciate you, bro.
- 3:55Speaker 9: So I want to start at the beginning.
- 3:57Speaker 3: I want to start at the beginning because shots out
- 4:01Speaker 3: boy jim Jones.
- 4:02Speaker 9: We interviewed Jimmy and he said he was.
- 4:04Speaker 3: An A and R at Warner and he said he
- 4:08Speaker 3: was spent a lot of time in Miami, and he
- 4:10Speaker 3: told Kevin Louds, He's like, Yo, it's this kid Rick
- 4:12Speaker 3: Ross out there.
- 4:13Speaker 9: He got a single that's burning up the streets.
- 4:16Speaker 3: And Kevin did some research and Jimmy was like, well,
- 4:20Speaker 3: he wont a million dollars to sign on. Kevin like,
- 4:23Speaker 3: I ain't giving him a million. He said, you need to.
- 4:27Speaker 3: He said, no, you need to. So how did that start?
- 4:30Speaker 3: As far as building that momentum seven forty five, white
- 4:34Speaker 3: on white, building it in the streets and then coming
- 4:36Speaker 3: in the game with if I'm not mistaking a million
- 4:39Speaker 3: dollar bidding war just off the rhetic.
- 4:42Speaker 7: That was just me, you know, putting that groundwork in
- 4:47Speaker 7: as an underground artist, you know, writing for others. And
- 4:51Speaker 7: it took me time to get on. But I also
- 4:55Speaker 7: that time that it took me to get on, I
- 4:56Speaker 7: also understood my value and I knew it that patience
- 5:01Speaker 7: of me having what's gonna be worth And that's what
- 5:03Speaker 7: it was. All the time that I was dropping mixtapes
- 5:08Speaker 7: back to back to back.
- 5:09Speaker 6: Shit was really preparing me.
- 5:12Speaker 7: So once I got that one smash record, every damn hustling,
- 5:16Speaker 7: that changed the fucking forecast for Rose. And I told
- 5:20Speaker 7: him right off the rip, before I fly anywhere to
- 5:22Speaker 7: talk to somebody, it's got to be seven figures on
- 5:25Speaker 7: the table straight up.
- 5:27Speaker 3: Yeah, it's crazy you say patience because I just left
- 5:30Speaker 3: rap Snack's office.
- 5:31Speaker 9: That was with my guy James and.
- 5:32Speaker 3: Wise and yeah, talking about it, he was like family,
- 5:35Speaker 3: He's extremely patient.
- 5:37Speaker 9: He said that. He was like, Rose has extreme patience.
- 5:41Speaker 3: Talk about that as far as because from my understanding,
- 5:43Speaker 3: you was rapping for ten years before you actually made
- 5:46Speaker 3: any money.
- 5:46Speaker 7: Right I was. I was writing there, I was writing
- 5:49Speaker 7: for others and rapping for myself longer than the decade
- 5:52Speaker 7: before I ever made a coin. So I understand that
- 5:56Speaker 7: we done all went years without having shit. So we
- 5:59Speaker 7: understand what patience is because believe it or not, that
- 6:02Speaker 7: counts as your patients towards whatever you're working for right now.
- 6:07Speaker 7: And so that's exactly what I did. Fuck it, I'm
- 6:10Speaker 7: gonna be patient. And once we got in a position
- 6:14Speaker 7: of power, my negotiation was a little different. It was
- 6:18Speaker 7: a little different. I understood my heights, I understood my lows,
- 6:22Speaker 7: understood what I had to work on, and I brought
- 6:26Speaker 7: it to the table and I sat down and shit,
- 6:28Speaker 7: here we are still winning.
- 6:29Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 6:30Speaker 10: One of the illest things I heard you say was,
- 6:33Speaker 10: before you can be a.
- 6:34Speaker 11: CEO, you have to be a worker.
- 6:36Speaker 6: Yeah, you have to be a worker.
- 6:38Speaker 10: And that says a lot because the grind you're talking
- 6:41Speaker 10: about the ten years, nobody ever sees that.
- 6:43Speaker 11: But where did you get that mindset from?
- 6:45Speaker 10: And was that in the early ages of your development
- 6:47Speaker 10: or did that come with music?
- 6:49Speaker 7: I believe that really came up growing up right here
- 6:51Speaker 7: in Miami. You understand, as a youngster, before they let you,
- 6:56Speaker 7: you know, doing all change, you gotta wash the car first.
- 6:58Speaker 7: Before they let you work on this cil. You gotta
- 7:00Speaker 7: cut the grasshurst you know what I'm saying. And ship
- 7:03Speaker 7: I began hands on, still hands on. I still cut
- 7:06Speaker 7: my own grass right now till this day. If I
- 7:10Speaker 7: got time, I'm gonna.
- 7:11Speaker 10: Do it now. I saw that John did right right.
- 7:18Speaker 10: And when we're talking, we're not talking about the every
- 7:20Speaker 10: day long. We talk about the biggest of state, the
- 7:23Speaker 10: state of Georgia in the east coach and.
- 7:24Speaker 6: The east fact, I just got it right.
- 7:30Speaker 10: So you out on the John Dere cutting all that long.
- 7:33Speaker 7: Yeah yeah, yeah, actually me in four or five of
- 7:35Speaker 7: my homieshot, yeah, yeah, I got it. I got a
- 7:38Speaker 7: couple of homies, shout out that ko in the whole squad.
- 7:41Speaker 7: But we get out there, we smoke us one and
- 7:44Speaker 7: we all get on our own tractors and go about
- 7:47Speaker 7: our day. But the beautiful thing about it is the
- 7:49Speaker 7: time that I get to sit by myself, reflect by myself.
- 7:53Speaker 7: I think about my plans, I plot, strategize and so
- 7:56Speaker 7: on and so forth, you know what I mean, and ship.
- 7:59Speaker 7: By the time I in that for the day, I'm
- 8:01Speaker 7: ready to make some business calls.
- 8:02Speaker 6: Step I game up some kind of way.
- 8:04Speaker 3: So you said I started at the call wash you
- 8:08Speaker 3: was actually washing.
- 8:09Speaker 6: Cars without a doubt.
- 8:11Speaker 9: How did that?
- 8:12Speaker 3: Does that still keep your grounded remembering humble beginnings? Right,
- 8:16Speaker 3: even once had a job point tall on the roof.
- 8:19Speaker 7: Yeah yeah yeah without that Yeah, and that was all facts,
- 8:26Speaker 7: And still to this day that still makes me the
- 8:29Speaker 7: hustler that I am, regardless of the position we in,
- 8:33Speaker 7: because I'm much further than I could have ever fathomed.
- 8:38Speaker 7: And I think that was the word to use for that.
- 8:40Speaker 7: You know what I'm saying. Yeah, but on some on
- 8:44Speaker 7: some real ship, I'm much further than I could have
- 8:46Speaker 7: ever imagined, you understand. And I'm still getting up every
- 8:50Speaker 7: day and going at it like weing got ship, because
- 8:53Speaker 7: to me, that's what represents a true hustler.
- 8:58Speaker 10: Your mindset has always been different. I mean from the
- 9:00Speaker 10: early stage. I remember, I think it was on the
- 9:02Speaker 10: Deep End Wrap album you said I won't fail, but
- 9:05Speaker 10: a lot of men will. And I was like, Oh,
- 9:07Speaker 10: that's a bar because you know you're in a surrounding
- 9:10Speaker 10: that isn't promising, but you know that I'm.
- 9:12Speaker 11: Gonna make it out.
- 9:13Speaker 10: And then later in your career you said, in a
- 9:16Speaker 10: room full of failures, I feel out of place. Right,
- 9:19Speaker 10: So you had that premonition for a while. How did
- 9:24Speaker 10: it develop like that?
- 9:26Speaker 6: Man?
- 9:26Speaker 7: It's just what you gotta do as being a boss,
- 9:31Speaker 7: being a CEO. And I want to make this note,
- 9:34Speaker 7: your life is the most important position you'll ever have
- 9:38Speaker 7: as a CEO.
- 9:39Speaker 6: You the CEO of your life.
- 9:42Speaker 7: You understand, and so for me, I always understood at
- 9:46Speaker 7: an early age, I wasn't the smartest at the room
- 9:49Speaker 7: when the teachers asked the question. I would have loved
- 9:52Speaker 7: to been a young brother that had every answer, and
- 9:55Speaker 7: I would have gave it to him. But I didn't,
- 9:57Speaker 7: you understand, So I had to sit in the back,
- 10:00Speaker 7: crack jokes and do everything else. But I understood what
- 10:03Speaker 7: I did have, what's passion, and that's what separated me
- 10:09Speaker 7: from everybody else when I played football. My passion I
- 10:13Speaker 7: wanted to practice to a day when all my other
- 10:16Speaker 7: homies was, Man, I'm tired, I'm ready to go home,
- 10:18Speaker 7: watch cartoons. Fuck cartoons. Man, let's do this shit again.
- 10:24Speaker 7: And that same passion still drive me to this day.
- 10:27Speaker 7: You understand, it's Sunday. Let's still turn up after this.
- 10:31Speaker 7: We're doing some more shit tonight. It ain't just about
- 10:34Speaker 7: the money, it's about the brand. That's where patients come
- 10:37Speaker 7: into play once again, the bill of brand. Man, you
- 10:41Speaker 7: gotta put ten years on that shit. Of course you
- 10:43Speaker 7: could make some money before then, whatever, whatever, But that's
- 10:46Speaker 7: the kind of mind frame you gotta have when you're
- 10:48Speaker 7: thinking about astronomical numbers.
- 10:51Speaker 6: I think that was the word for that. Let's two.
- 10:58Speaker 3: Let me ask you this as far as because we
- 10:59Speaker 3: like to do like deep dives in the business and
- 11:01Speaker 3: all of that.
- 11:02Speaker 9: And you see over eleven.
- 11:04Speaker 3: Hundred people here that's interested in learning about business. So
- 11:08Speaker 3: I want to break down the businesses first. I want
- 11:10Speaker 3: to start with music. So you come in and you
- 11:13Speaker 3: was hot off the rip. You sold one hundred I
- 11:16Speaker 3: think one hundred and eighty seven thousand.
- 11:17Speaker 6: Your first record week, right.
- 11:19Speaker 3: But the reason why I bring that up is because
- 11:22Speaker 3: it's not like I don't think your first record on
- 11:23Speaker 3: gold or platinum. But you started a record label Mayback Music,
- 11:27Speaker 3: and everybody knows Meek.
- 11:28Speaker 9: Mill Valet that story.
- 11:31Speaker 3: So how did you have the leverage to create a
- 11:34Speaker 3: label even though, like I guess, you wasn't a commercial
- 11:37Speaker 3: start yet at that time.
- 11:39Speaker 7: What I did was I understood once again, I understand
- 11:43Speaker 7: my stress and I understand my weaknesses. That's just like
- 11:46Speaker 7: if I'm sitting in this crowd today, I would try
- 11:50Speaker 7: to make sure I connected with the most smallfuckers in
- 11:54Speaker 7: the crowd, meaning exchange numbers, introduce to myself, and do
- 11:58Speaker 7: it in the boss manner. And that's what I did
- 12:01Speaker 7: as soon as I got in depth JAM business. As
- 12:03Speaker 7: soon as I got into the office, I made sure
- 12:06Speaker 7: I bonded with the motherfuckers that had strengths in the areas.
- 12:10Speaker 7: I was weekend, Oh, how we get to this? How
- 12:13Speaker 7: we continue to own this? This is what we need. Okay,
- 12:17Speaker 7: this is what I want to do. Let's sit down
- 12:19Speaker 7: and let's build something together. You understand, And that's how
- 12:23Speaker 7: you begin to educate yourself. So what usually would have
- 12:26Speaker 7: took another artist five years to learn on his own,
- 12:29Speaker 7: you know, I put somebody right by my side and
- 12:32Speaker 7: got the game from and you know, sixteen months later
- 12:36Speaker 7: I introduced may By Music.
- 12:37Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 12:38Speaker 10: So that's interesting because one of the things I think
- 12:41Speaker 10: people haven't given you credit for this, and I've heard
- 12:42Speaker 10: you say before, is that when you signed your deal,
- 12:44Speaker 10: you didn't spend a dollar get in by jewelry, get
- 12:47Speaker 10: in buy a card.
- 12:48Speaker 11: Well, the seven forty five, I'm sure it came before that.
- 12:50Speaker 10: That's before why on White seven forty five?
- 12:53Speaker 11: That came befored he didn't buy Julie.
- 12:56Speaker 10: Like I said, you said, I'm gonna save until I
- 12:59Speaker 10: know the next best move. And so when you signed,
- 13:02Speaker 10: in your mind you're thinking already I'm going to create
- 13:04Speaker 10: a label.
- 13:05Speaker 11: Was that the next best move? That's what you were
- 13:06Speaker 11: thinking of?
- 13:07Speaker 7: I know, most definitely that was you know, in the
- 13:10Speaker 7: forecast me being the CEO. You know, the time that
- 13:13Speaker 7: I will put into music that was enough for me
- 13:15Speaker 7: to share with possibly ten different artists. The amount of
- 13:19Speaker 7: beats that I listened to in one night, the average
- 13:22Speaker 7: artists won't listen to in three months, you know what
- 13:25Speaker 7: I'm saying. I could sit there for twelve hours and
- 13:27Speaker 7: listening to instrumentals, listen to beats, and go back and forth.
- 13:30Speaker 6: You know what I'm saying.
- 13:31Speaker 7: So I knew I would be a huge assistance to
- 13:34Speaker 7: the right artist, you know, the young dudes with the
- 13:36Speaker 7: right passion, you know. And I was blessed to come
- 13:39Speaker 7: across a young Wille of course, a Meek Mill. And
- 13:43Speaker 7: you know I came across other artists as well. And
- 13:47Speaker 7: you know, something nobody ever taught me was that, you know,
- 13:50Speaker 7: you may come across some motherfuckers with the talent, but
- 13:53Speaker 7: they may not have the passion. So that's just like
- 13:57Speaker 7: being a CEO. You gotta make sure you bringing somebody
- 14:01Speaker 7: to the table who got the passion.
- 14:04Speaker 6: They gotta want to win more than you.
- 14:06Speaker 7: The coach can't want the player to win more than
- 14:09Speaker 7: the player. Du shit ain't gonna happen. And that was
- 14:13Speaker 7: something nobody never taught me. That was something I had
- 14:15Speaker 7: to learn them own.
- 14:16Speaker 10: So when you step in depth Jam's building, are they
- 14:18Speaker 10: gravitating towards you because they see the hungers. It's like
- 14:20Speaker 10: when you're meeting like the Leos and the Kevin Lows.
- 14:22Speaker 11: They like this guy's special. This is bigger than music.
- 14:25Speaker 6: I believe they did.
- 14:26Speaker 7: Shout out to La Red jay Z, DJ Kellen was
- 14:29Speaker 7: my n R at the time, Shout out the ev
- 14:32Speaker 7: everybody that I had around me.
- 14:33Speaker 6: They saw how I.
- 14:34Speaker 7: Was on go you understand Rose released part of Miami
- 14:39Speaker 7: six months later, I was ready to put out another album,
- 14:41Speaker 7: pushing to the Living.
- 14:42Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 14:42Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 14:42Speaker 7: It's almost like the label couldn't keep up with me.
- 14:45Speaker 7: By the time I put out Triller, I was ready
- 14:47Speaker 7: for Deepening Rap. After Deepening Rap, I was ready to
- 14:50Speaker 7: put out another mixtape because they.
- 14:52Speaker 6: Couldn't keep up.
- 14:53Speaker 11: We had that argument all the time.
- 14:54Speaker 6: Rich Favor that was the mixtape for my favorite.
- 14:56Speaker 11: We always had an argument, like who was my favorite?
- 14:59Speaker 11: Is tef one? Though he always says deep in the rap.
- 15:01Speaker 3: Deep in wrap, that won't change it for change the
- 15:03Speaker 3: game a lot. Let me ask you this, how do
- 15:05Speaker 3: you what's your process? As far as finding. All right,
- 15:09Speaker 3: Meek mill is a global icon superstar right now? But
- 15:14Speaker 3: did you know that off the rep What made you
- 15:16Speaker 3: want to invest in somebody like me who's from Philly
- 15:20Speaker 3: and you know, not somebody like homegrown Miami whatever like?
- 15:24Speaker 3: Was it his buzz already in the streets of Philly?
- 15:26Speaker 3: Was it his energy? What did you see in him
- 15:29Speaker 3: that you thought he was gonna be a star?
- 15:31Speaker 6: Well? Really, with me, it wasn't his buzz. It was
- 15:33Speaker 6: you know.
- 15:34Speaker 7: Once I was introduced to him and I got in
- 15:35Speaker 7: the studio with him, I understood his talent. Spending a
- 15:39Speaker 7: week with him, I understood his story, I understood his heart,
- 15:43Speaker 7: and of course I felt that at that point, let's go,
- 15:46Speaker 7: let's let's do this.
- 15:47Speaker 6: You know what I'm saying.
- 15:48Speaker 7: I understood homie vision and he took it to another level.
- 15:53Speaker 9: Did you did you foresee him being who he is now?
- 15:57Speaker 6: I did.
- 15:58Speaker 7: I made a record called Tupackets back and one time
- 16:04Speaker 7: for the legend Tupact. No way was I saying, you know?
- 16:11Speaker 9: Absolutely?
- 16:13Speaker 7: But I knew Meek had a story to tell the
- 16:16Speaker 7: way pop did, and I knew that was special.
- 16:20Speaker 9: Let me ask you this. I want to go on
- 16:22Speaker 9: music a little bit more.
- 16:24Speaker 3: You have a unique here for beats. I remember, naw,
- 16:27Speaker 3: it's called you the very white of our generation. Like
- 16:30Speaker 3: it's it's a different vibe, like you know what I'm saying,
- 16:32Speaker 3: especially coming from the South, so we're from New York.
- 16:34Speaker 3: And like the first Southern artist that I really got
- 16:36Speaker 3: into his music was t I because I could understand
- 16:39Speaker 3: I can relate to him, like he had a fade.
- 16:41Speaker 3: He was you could tell you from the South, but
- 16:42Speaker 3: he had a New York swag too, and I kind
- 16:45Speaker 3: of felt like you were the same way. Like coming
- 16:46Speaker 3: from Miami, all we heard before that was trick Daddy
- 16:50Speaker 3: and like that kind of.
- 16:51Speaker 9: Music, which was dope.
- 16:53Speaker 3: But you came on something just made back music, some
- 16:56Speaker 3: VASACEI linen shirt, like you came with the whole swag
- 16:59Speaker 3: like that.
- 17:04Speaker 9: Where that vibe come from the beat.
- 17:06Speaker 11: Don't forget this and we just got this because he
- 17:08Speaker 11: left us. But he was part of the ball head
- 17:10Speaker 11: and beer crew, and now he left us.
- 17:12Speaker 6: I'm not I ain't saying you are.
- 17:15Speaker 9: I'm saying I am.
- 17:16Speaker 11: He was Scott's crazy shout to my brother's wallowing Gilly.
- 17:19Speaker 11: We're still part of the team.
- 17:21Speaker 6: It's still beer gang for like here we go.
- 17:25Speaker 7: But as far as the flavor in the style growing
- 17:29Speaker 7: up in Miami, it's always been universal. You understand, Miami
- 17:34Speaker 7: always been high fashion, big money. We always love the
- 17:38Speaker 7: ballet's as a youngsters, you know, youngsters, I saw the
- 17:40Speaker 7: hustles with the Sway ballets, whatever it is. It was
- 17:43Speaker 7: always the flies. It was always universal. So if you
- 17:46Speaker 7: was in from New York City flying Miami, it always fit. Webb,
- 17:49Speaker 7: you was from Atlanta, Webb, it was from So you know,
- 17:52Speaker 7: I just made sure I stuck to the script. You
- 17:55Speaker 7: know what I'm saying. As far as the jewels, the
- 17:57Speaker 7: way we roll, the way the hustlers got around, you
- 18:00Speaker 7: know what I'm saying, I just stuck to the script.
- 18:01Speaker 6: I gotta give it to the ones before me.
- 18:03Speaker 7: They always did it big. Big boys out here, always
- 18:07Speaker 7: did it big. So you know that was the only
- 18:08Speaker 7: way rose they could do it.
- 18:09Speaker 6: Just do it.
- 18:10Speaker 3: Big' Let's get into this conversation jet doc, right, so
- 18:16Speaker 3: if anybody watches, we.
- 18:17Speaker 9: Got the biggest stock show. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 18:20Speaker 9: shout to jet Doc.
- 18:21Speaker 12: We got sound for jet Doc, went sound for jet Doc.
- 18:24Speaker 9: So we got a stock show called Market Mondays. We
- 18:26Speaker 9: talked about stocks in Teledoc.
- 18:27Speaker 3: Yes, so that whole industry of virtual medicine is going
- 18:31Speaker 3: through the roof right now. Pill Pack, Amazon's involved, they say,
- 18:35Speaker 3: Apples actually bout thet. So from my understanding, you put
- 18:38Speaker 3: a million dollar investment in the jet doc.
- 18:40Speaker 9: Anybody doesn't know who jet doc.
- 18:41Speaker 3: Jet doc is an online health company where you get
- 18:44Speaker 3: virtual doctor visits and a subscription based looks like ten
- 18:48Speaker 3: to twenty dollars a month. And this is a whole
- 18:51Speaker 3: big thing, and it's really big, especially for black men,
- 18:54Speaker 3: because it's like a lot of people don't go to
- 18:58Speaker 3: the doctors.
- 18:58Speaker 9: Because they don't have health insurance. You don't need health
- 19:00Speaker 9: insurance for.
- 19:01Speaker 6: That, right, you don't need health insurance.
- 19:03Speaker 3: It's a low amount, right as far as actually the
- 19:07Speaker 3: access to see the doctor's.
- 19:08Speaker 6: Virtual right right over the phone, and as.
- 19:11Speaker 9: Far as the trust.
- 19:12Speaker 3: But prop got Rose in Rose, We trust trust talk
- 19:17Speaker 3: about can you break that down a little bit as
- 19:19Speaker 3: far as how you why you wanted to get involved
- 19:21Speaker 3: in And it's a black sea oh by the way
- 19:22Speaker 3: as well.
- 19:23Speaker 7: Yeah, yeah, shout out to Tommy Duncan black CEO real
- 19:26Speaker 7: real sure, yes, sure, he's real successful. All of his
- 19:31Speaker 7: prior you know, ventures huge success. But you know, first
- 19:35Speaker 7: and foremost everybody know Rose, No, I'd have been through
- 19:37Speaker 7: my own health scarce. So with myself, it's all about,
- 19:41Speaker 7: you know, doing as much as we can for ourselves,
- 19:44Speaker 7: for our people and the ones around us. Okay, So
- 19:47Speaker 7: jet Doc presented itself and for me, what really caught
- 19:50Speaker 7: my eye was, for one, the amount of money. You
- 19:53Speaker 7: could say, it's so many people that can't afford healthcare.
- 19:57Speaker 7: They can't afford going to the doctor. It can't afford,
- 20:01Speaker 7: you know, fulfilling.
- 20:02Speaker 6: These expensive prescriptions.
- 20:05Speaker 7: So jet doc can cut all that, you know, more
- 20:08Speaker 7: than half man. You know, So if you're a CEO
- 20:10Speaker 7: of a company, you could get your employees jet doc,
- 20:15Speaker 7: you know, healthcare for less than ten to twenty dollars
- 20:18Speaker 7: a month, not three hundred dollars, not four hundred dollars.
- 20:22Speaker 7: And that's how so many people of our color don't
- 20:25Speaker 7: have healthcare. And a lot of times, by the time
- 20:27Speaker 7: we go visit a doctor, it's much too late. We
- 20:31Speaker 7: got to prepare for the worst, when a lot of
- 20:33Speaker 7: times we just need to you know, address it as
- 20:36Speaker 7: early as possible, you understand, and let's live, let's enjoy life.
- 20:40Speaker 11: Oh so there's a common theme.
- 20:43Speaker 10: Right, you said your health concerns led you to invest
- 20:47Speaker 10: in Jet Doc.
- 20:49Speaker 6: Right.
- 20:50Speaker 10: I want to talk about Wingstop though, because I heard
- 20:52Speaker 10: you know Wingstop and Checks. Everybody has known you love
- 20:55Speaker 10: and Pepper is is your wing of choice?
- 20:58Speaker 11: Good choice by that?
- 20:59Speaker 10: Yeah, so there's a common theme where you invest in
- 21:04Speaker 10: things that you consume.
- 21:06Speaker 11: Can you talk about the points of that?
- 21:07Speaker 7: Of course I could go straight to that. Well for myself,
- 21:10Speaker 7: if I love it, I want to do it. I
- 21:13Speaker 7: want to do it, you know, based on my heart.
- 21:15Speaker 7: You understand. I have said this before. I was off
- 21:17Speaker 7: of a seven figure advance for smoking cigarettes doing cigarette ass.
- 21:22Speaker 6: I don't smoke squares. I can't do that.
- 21:24Speaker 7: I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I'm flattered. I appreciate it, but
- 21:31Speaker 7: I can't do that. So for me, the reason why
- 21:35Speaker 7: I could become partners with the brands I become partners
- 21:37Speaker 7: with is it's got to be something that I genuinely love.
- 21:40Speaker 7: I gotta genuinely fuck with it. I wanted Wingstop. I
- 21:44Speaker 7: bought my first franchise. I knew nothing about the business.
- 21:49Speaker 7: I knew nothing about becoming a franchiseee. I knew nothing
- 21:54Speaker 7: of nothing. I knew none of that I just knew.
- 21:56Speaker 7: I wanted to pick a chickup that I liked one
- 21:58Speaker 7: day music, Yo, you like chicken wings, that's yeah, and
- 22:15Speaker 7: put up in there. And you know I wanted to
- 22:18Speaker 7: sit down eating on the way out.
- 22:20Speaker 6: You know what I'm saying.
- 22:21Speaker 7: Mentioned to her, Oh yeah, you know this my shit,
- 22:23Speaker 7: you know, And that's all I really wanted, you understand.
- 22:27Speaker 6: So I got a salute.
- 22:29Speaker 7: Charlie Morrison, the CEO at Wingstomp, he let me in.
- 22:33Speaker 7: He let me buy one. The energy was dope. I
- 22:36Speaker 7: love limon pepper wings. I bought two. I bought three.
- 22:40Speaker 7: I bought four. Shout out to my mom, my sister.
- 22:42Speaker 7: I put all this person on them. We got the ten,
- 22:46Speaker 7: we got the fifteen, We got the twenty.
- 22:48Speaker 6: Shout out to my mom and my sister. You going
- 22:52Speaker 6: got the twenty five going.
- 22:54Speaker 7: Shout out to my mama and my sister. You know
- 22:56Speaker 7: what I'm saying, because you know, they just support me.
- 22:59Speaker 7: They won't tell me I put the burden on them.
- 23:01Speaker 6: But what I'm telling you.
- 23:02Speaker 7: Is this, I did it because I loved it, and
- 23:05Speaker 7: I learned it as I went. I learned as I went.
- 23:09Speaker 7: You understanding. Once again, I networked with people I got.
- 23:12Speaker 7: She exchanged phone numbers with other dudes out in Cali
- 23:15Speaker 7: who had twenty restaurants, this and that. How you manage this,
- 23:18Speaker 7: how you deal with this, how you keep up with
- 23:20Speaker 7: the finances, how you do this? And I learned it
- 23:22Speaker 7: as we win and we're still here.
- 23:24Speaker 9: When did you get involved in in wink style?
- 23:28Speaker 6: Man?
- 23:28Speaker 7: I'm not even sure, like five years ago. No, it
- 23:30Speaker 7: was more than five years ago. It was more than
- 23:33Speaker 7: five It was much more than five years ago. We
- 23:35Speaker 7: much are we over a decade? Then we over a decade?
- 23:37Speaker 9: Then you invest in stocks at all?
- 23:40Speaker 6: I do? I do.
- 23:41Speaker 7: I got a little bit, you know what I'm saying.
- 23:42Speaker 7: But I'm gonna tell you this right, my mama taught me.
- 23:45Speaker 6: She said Will. She called me my real name. She say, Will.
- 23:52Speaker 6: You can't let these people play with your money.
- 23:54Speaker 7: If you buy something, you gotta be able to touch it.
- 23:59Speaker 7: I said, what you mean, Mama, you gotta have an address.
- 24:06Speaker 7: I'll never forget that you dig. And so what I
- 24:09Speaker 7: did was that's what I basically put my money in.
- 24:12Speaker 7: You know what I'm saying, Real estate, franchise and shit
- 24:16Speaker 7: that I could pull up and actually see standing on
- 24:19Speaker 7: a corner straight up and down. But in the last
- 24:21Speaker 7: couple of years, I got some people that I'm real
- 24:23Speaker 7: cool with, you know what I'm saying.
- 24:25Speaker 6: They, you know, made a.
- 24:26Speaker 7: Few investments, Bitcoin, etcetera, etcetera, a few more things, and
- 24:30Speaker 7: you know, I can't let everybody had the whole party
- 24:33Speaker 7: to themselves, you know what I'm saying.
- 24:35Speaker 6: So I slid a little something.
- 24:39Speaker 3: The reason why I asked you that because I was
- 24:40Speaker 3: throwing some research and wingstop stock was twenty.
- 24:45Speaker 10: Ernest, what's up? You ever walk into a small business
- 24:47Speaker 10: and everything just works like the checkout is fast, or
- 24:51Speaker 10: seats of digital tipping is a breeze, and you're out

- 26:06Speaker 10: day after day. It's like banking with P and C Bank.
- 26:11Speaker 10: It might seem boring to save, plan and make calculated
- 26:13Speaker 10: decisions with your bank, but keeping your money boring is

- 26:20Speaker 10: and C Bank Brilliantly Boring since eighteen sixty five. Brilliantly
- 26:25Speaker 10: Boring since eighteen sixty five is a service mark of
- 26:28Speaker 10: the PNC Financial Service Group, Inc. P and C Bank
- 26:31Speaker 10: National Association Member FDIC.
- 26:35Speaker 13: An illegal alien from Guatemala charged with raping a child
- 26:39Speaker 13: in Massachusetts. An MS thirteen gang member from El Salvador
- 26:43Speaker 13: accused of murdering a Texas man of Venezuelan charged with
- 26:47Speaker 13: filming and selling child pornography in Michigan. These are just
- 26:51Speaker 13: some of the heinous migrant criminals caught because of President
- 26:55Speaker 13: Donald J. Trump's leadership. I'm Christine nom the United States
- 26:59Speaker 13: Secretary of Home Security. Under President Trump, attempted illegal border
- 27:03Speaker 13: crossings are at the lowest levels ever recorded, and over
- 27:07Speaker 13: one hundred thousand illegal aliens have been arrested. If you
- 27:10Speaker 13: were here illegally, your next you will be fine nearly
- 27:14Speaker 13: one thousand dollars a day, imprisoned and deported, you will
- 27:18Speaker 13: never return. But if you register using our CBP home
- 27:22Speaker 13: app and leave now, you could be allowed to return legally.
- 27:26Speaker 13: Do what's right.
- 27:27Speaker 10: Leave now.
- 27:28Speaker 13: Under President Trump America's laws, border and families will be protected.
- 27:33Speaker 6: Sponsored by the United States Department of Homeland Security.
- 27:35Speaker 3: Five dollars five years ago and it's one hundred and
- 27:38Speaker 3: thirty seven today, So that's a four hundred and forty
- 27:40Speaker 3: eight percent a creek.
- 27:42Speaker 9: So I would have.
- 27:44Speaker 3: To do the biggest I would have to think that
- 27:47Speaker 3: Rose definitely helped boost the company's stop.
- 27:50Speaker 9: Brought the stock up for sure, We'll say so.
- 27:53Speaker 7: I would think, yeah, you know what, once we got
- 27:55Speaker 7: we got in the franchise side, you know, we most
- 27:57Speaker 7: definitely would wing stop, you know, sit on that side
- 28:00Speaker 7: as well.
- 28:01Speaker 3: You know what I mean, what's the process of getting
- 28:04Speaker 3: like the franchise is it like I know what the
- 28:08Speaker 3: McDonald's is like. You gotta pay like a million dollars
- 28:10Speaker 3: just to get the thing, and then you got to
- 28:12Speaker 3: go through the training and.
- 28:12Speaker 9: All that because you have to go through that too.
- 28:14Speaker 3: It was like since you Rick Ross, it's kind of
- 28:16Speaker 3: like a little different as far as you're getting a franchise.
- 28:19Speaker 6: Well, I'm straight up.
- 28:20Speaker 7: That's why I continue to give my sister and my
- 28:23Speaker 7: mother they props, you know what I'm saying. They went,
- 28:26Speaker 7: they got college degrees, they both you know, college educated,
- 28:30Speaker 7: you know what I'm saying. And so I make sure
- 28:34Speaker 7: I stress this as much as possible. We gotta start
- 28:38Speaker 7: with the ones around us and the ones that love
- 28:40Speaker 7: us most, because a lot of times we could be
- 28:44Speaker 7: looking for somebody to help us do something when the
- 28:47Speaker 7: motherfucker you need is right next to you. And that's
- 28:51Speaker 7: what I did, you know what I mean. And I'm blessed.
- 28:54Speaker 7: I trust my sister and my mom. I tell them
- 28:56Speaker 7: what the ideas. I tell them what the players, and
- 28:59Speaker 7: they they pull it off. They executed. So all the
- 29:02Speaker 7: times they had to go to the course, you know
- 29:09Speaker 7: this Sinati, You know I gave them them hugs before
- 29:12Speaker 7: the love your mom. They and they pulled it off
- 29:16Speaker 7: for me. So you know, fortunate for me. That's why
- 29:19Speaker 7: I'm able to have my hands on so many things,
- 29:21Speaker 7: is because they take the stress off. I let them
- 29:24Speaker 7: know to play and the idea and they executed.
- 29:27Speaker 3: Let me ask you a question about so early a
- 29:29Speaker 3: Lisia is a we have a whole platform a business,
- 29:32Speaker 3: and a lot of people say, don't work with family,
- 29:34Speaker 3: but we only work with family. Everybody that's employed is
- 29:37Speaker 3: the people that we grew up with, are friends or
- 29:40Speaker 3: actually like family, and it's worked out for us. You
- 29:44Speaker 3: spoke about that very eloquently before, where you say, like
- 29:47Speaker 3: you don't have to give your mom money, you don't
- 29:49Speaker 3: have to give your sister money.
- 29:50Speaker 9: No, you don't want it like that.
- 29:52Speaker 3: You put them in a position and now they actually
- 29:55Speaker 3: are running businesses and they have income coming in. So
- 29:58Speaker 3: now not only do they have something to do, because
- 30:00Speaker 3: like you get somebody money but they just bore it
- 30:02Speaker 3: at home all day like they actually running a business.
- 30:04Speaker 3: But then also the stimulating your economy, you stimulate their economy.
- 30:09Speaker 3: And you was like, if you're giving people money, it's
- 30:10Speaker 3: only so long before you get jammed up.
- 30:12Speaker 6: Man.
- 30:12Speaker 7: I'm a firm believer that if somebody don't want it themselves,
- 30:15Speaker 7: regardless of how much you give them, they ain't gonna have shit,
- 30:18Speaker 7: no way. I'm fortunate. My mother's a self made millionaire.
- 30:24Speaker 7: My sister she has a car lot, she does a
- 30:27Speaker 7: bunch of other shit. She's a millionaire herself, you understand.
- 30:32Speaker 7: So if you're dealing with somebody that you can't trust,
- 30:36Speaker 7: you just got to take it for what it is.
- 30:38Speaker 6: You know, I'm blessed. I could trust my family.
- 30:41Speaker 7: I could trust my sister, I trust my mother, And
- 30:43Speaker 7: that's what the play is. And they know that's how
- 30:46Speaker 7: it is. We like the mob like that, you know
- 30:48Speaker 7: what I'm saying, And that's that's just how it goes.
- 30:52Speaker 7: And I believe you gotta have some type of understanding
- 30:55Speaker 7: with somebody to really excel like that. You gotta have
- 31:00Speaker 7: somebody you could call into your office and really have
- 31:03Speaker 7: those real genuine talks with to take this ship over
- 31:06Speaker 7: because a lot of times, being an entrepreneur and a boss,
- 31:10Speaker 7: you're gonna hit some potholes and some stumbles. That's gonna
- 31:13Speaker 7: test everything. Y'all level did, tests everything y'all lever built
- 31:18Speaker 7: anything y'all lever dreamed of, and you gotta be prepared.
- 31:21Speaker 10: For that equally as impressive as the wingstop. And is
- 31:25Speaker 10: uh your venture into the spirits industry. And so I'm
- 31:28Speaker 10: interested to find how'd you enter into this Bellot Roads
- 31:32Speaker 10: because this is like one of our favorite champaigns. You
- 31:34Speaker 10: said you set the care back is the uh, we're
- 31:37Speaker 10: gonna need another one very few. So, so how was
- 31:41Speaker 10: that process and who walked you through it? And talk
- 31:44Speaker 10: about that a little bit?
- 31:44Speaker 6: Well for me?
- 31:45Speaker 7: For me in the Bellair Road situation, it was real genuine.
- 31:49Speaker 7: I was actually introduced to bell Air by DJ Clue
- 31:53Speaker 7: New York City Findings.
- 31:55Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 31:56Speaker 7: We had a party one night in New York City
- 31:59Speaker 7: and want to say it was greenhouse or something.
- 32:05Speaker 6: Walk into like a.
- 32:06Speaker 7: Falling trees and leaves on the I was like, yo,
- 32:11Speaker 7: I was in the zone, you know what I'm saying.
- 32:13Speaker 6: And I had some bell there that night.
- 32:15Speaker 7: I never forget In the following morning, I called him
- 32:17Speaker 7: and asked him, like, Yo, what's up with that? I
- 32:19Speaker 7: need some more of that, you know what I mean?
- 32:21Speaker 7: And it was just a genuine vibe. He was like, Yo,
- 32:24Speaker 7: they just building their thing, give me the contact. Let
- 32:27Speaker 7: me let them know I love it. I don't even
- 32:28Speaker 7: want nothing. I just want to let them know. This
- 32:30Speaker 7: is what it is, and this is what I want to.
- 32:32Speaker 7: Let a lot of people know that. A lot of times,
- 32:36Speaker 7: to actually build on whatever it is you do, you
- 32:40Speaker 7: got to really really just strategize and do it out
- 32:42Speaker 7: of love. It's a lot of people that come to
- 32:44Speaker 7: my dms Rosey, what you do this for me?
- 32:49Speaker 6: Now, I ain't even mad.
- 32:51Speaker 7: At you, that's cool, but a lot of times for
- 32:54Speaker 7: me to separate you from any of the other motherfuckers
- 32:58Speaker 7: that I feel don't have a vis guess what the
- 33:01Speaker 7: first thing I'm looking for? Okay, if I was doing this,
- 33:05Speaker 7: you know what I would have did first. I would
- 33:07Speaker 7: have posted one of Rick ross albums first. This is
- 33:15Speaker 7: what I want you to do, because guess what I'm
- 33:18Speaker 7: gonna do and let me know you got a vision.
- 33:24Speaker 7: I'm gonna fuck with you. This is what I've done
- 33:27Speaker 7: with brands time and time again. I did it with
- 33:30Speaker 7: bel Air just out of love, genuinely supported bel Air.
- 33:34Speaker 7: I did it in the last few months on my
- 33:36Speaker 7: story with Rap Snacks and James Lindsey. I got on
- 33:41Speaker 7: the fucking Instagram and just said, Yo, I just had
- 33:44Speaker 7: some of these rap snacks. They taste good as hell.
- 33:47Speaker 7: I want my face on the bag. I can't play basketball,
- 33:50Speaker 7: I can't play baseball, but I want to be.
- 33:52Speaker 6: On a bag.
- 33:53Speaker 7: And guess what I showed love for maybe ninety days
- 33:56Speaker 7: in a row. And I sat down and we had
- 33:58Speaker 7: a business meeting and we the deal one time for
- 34:01Speaker 7: rap snacks James Linden.
- 34:03Speaker 9: James shout the wise intelligence.
- 34:06Speaker 7: So all I'm just telling you is, let's be strategic
- 34:08Speaker 7: at whatever it is you're doing. Before you reach out
- 34:11Speaker 7: to somebody, do something in their favor, bring something to
- 34:14Speaker 7: the table. That's what you gotta do to be respected
- 34:16Speaker 7: as a boss. And that's what I did. I wanted
- 34:19Speaker 7: to get to know how the spirits work. I'm Ricky
- 34:21Speaker 7: Rose exactly. You understand I don't. I'm not looking for
- 34:25Speaker 7: a job, but what I want to do is look
- 34:26Speaker 7: for knowledge. So I met the CEO, Brett and in
- 34:30Speaker 7: exchange for the knowledge he shared with me. Let me
- 34:33Speaker 7: sit in on the on the business meetings, on the calls,
- 34:36Speaker 7: on this and that.
- 34:37Speaker 6: Yo, I'm gonna show us some love. I enjoy it.
- 34:40Speaker 7: And guess what in the future, I know anything I
- 34:43Speaker 7: want to know to be able to do anything I
- 34:45Speaker 7: want to do.
- 34:45Speaker 6: But right now it's just out of love, genuine Here.
- 34:48Speaker 10: We gotta text that we officially bail their boys.
- 34:50Speaker 3: Shout the letter like that, shout the lett strike me
- 34:54Speaker 3: as an extremely humble person and also a knowledge, a
- 34:58Speaker 3: sponge of knowledge. Diddy, I believe you Sawday's management company
- 35:03Speaker 3: right a lot from Diddy. You spoke about the president
- 35:05Speaker 3: that of bellet how important speak to these people? How
- 35:08Speaker 3: important is it to just a lot of time? You
- 35:11Speaker 3: feel like you already? Rick Ross, You're a boss, like
- 35:13Speaker 3: you know what I'm saying. But how important is it
- 35:14Speaker 3: to just understand that there's always something else to learn
- 35:18Speaker 3: and you can always learn from somebody?
- 35:20Speaker 7: Okay, first and first, you got to ask yourself first
- 35:22Speaker 7: and foremost, how much do you want to know? How
- 35:25Speaker 7: much do you want to learn? And be straight up
- 35:30Speaker 7: and down with yourself. I'm the biggest boss far as
- 35:32Speaker 7: I'm concerned. Ricky Rose. But I'm still the student of
- 35:35Speaker 7: the game. I still want to learn something right now,
- 35:40Speaker 7: straight up and down. And when I'm around the big homies,
- 35:42Speaker 7: who got something to share with me? Or regardless, it
- 35:45Speaker 7: could be somebody that's sweeping the floor in the background.
- 35:47Speaker 7: If you got something to share with me, Rose, I
- 35:49Speaker 7: want to hear it.
- 35:51Speaker 6: I want it. Yeah, I could never have too much
- 35:54Speaker 6: of that.
- 35:56Speaker 7: And so once again, that's the passionateg it.
- 36:01Speaker 6: Bring some to the table.
- 36:03Speaker 7: If you're a boss, if you're an executive, go out
- 36:05Speaker 7: your way, make that phone call later today, call somebody
- 36:10Speaker 7: that you know you ain't call. Usually thank them for
- 36:13Speaker 7: whatever they did, have them go to that next level.
- 36:16Speaker 6: Reward them.
- 36:19Speaker 11: Yeah, one of the best pieces of business advice.
- 36:22Speaker 10: And I want you, Agatt, to speak to the over
- 36:24Speaker 10: twelve hundred people out of he you said, knowing what
- 36:27Speaker 10: not to do is as equally as important as knowing
- 36:30Speaker 10: what to do. And so in business, what are some
- 36:32Speaker 10: things that you've learned or you experienced over your career
- 36:36Speaker 10: of not to do this?
- 36:38Speaker 7: Well, me being a boss, one of the first things
- 36:40Speaker 7: I know not to do is I don't slammer one
- 36:44Speaker 7: of my teammates with the rest of the team. Were
- 36:51Speaker 7: not gonna huddle weapon na. If it's a problem, we'll
- 36:54Speaker 7: discuss that, and then we're gonna bring it to the
- 36:56Speaker 7: table and address it in an honorable way. Even if
- 36:59Speaker 7: for Mark fucker may not like the results, were gonna
- 37:02Speaker 7: do it in an honorable way. So once again, yeah,
- 37:10Speaker 7: so once again my teammates, that's with me. The dudes
- 37:12Speaker 7: that's sacrificing not only they time, they life, Whatever it
- 37:17Speaker 7: is we're doing, they know they're.
- 37:19Speaker 6: Doing it for a genuine cause.
- 37:22Speaker 7: And like I say, the same person you have next
- 37:24Speaker 7: to you that may only goddamn help you reach fifty
- 37:28Speaker 7: percent of your goals under my direction, may help me
- 37:31Speaker 7: reach one hundred percent.
- 37:33Speaker 6: Now what can we do to change that?
- 37:34Speaker 7: What we got to do is make sure we learn
- 37:36Speaker 7: and understand how to bring the best out of everybody
- 37:40Speaker 7: that surround us.
- 37:43Speaker 3: Have you ever thought about like audio, like you're like
- 37:46Speaker 3: you like when you talk, it's like you're one of
- 37:48Speaker 3: the great narrators. It's like, what's the guy, what's the
- 37:52Speaker 3: black actor? The Morgan Freeman?
- 37:56Speaker 9: Like a moment like a Morgan Freeman.
- 38:00Speaker 3: Yo, you're gifted, man, you really got talent with that.
- 38:04Speaker 6: Man, I'm gonna be honest. I'm gonna be honest.
- 38:06Speaker 7: I spoke with somebody about that before, but I told
- 38:08Speaker 7: him right now, I'm not interested.
- 38:10Speaker 6: You know what I'm saying.
- 38:11Speaker 7: I just want to continue to connect with the young
- 38:13Speaker 7: entrepreneurs who hit me through my social media platform, and
- 38:17Speaker 7: that's basically the only ones I talked to. I wasn't
- 38:20Speaker 7: doing this before the pandemic, but I understood once the
- 38:23Speaker 7: pandemic the game change. We got to communicate differently. Now
- 38:29Speaker 7: the ship I want I wake up walking barefoot in
- 38:31Speaker 7: the morning, and shit, having barefoot.
- 38:36Speaker 3: I want to ask you, so, you had one of
- 38:37Speaker 3: the most legendary business moves in the last couple of
- 38:40Speaker 3: years with coming to America too. Obviously everybody knows what's
- 38:43Speaker 3: film at your house, but yeah, that's Princess Amulda. But
- 38:48Speaker 3: you actually you actually caught a bag off of that
- 38:51Speaker 3: right right, right right? Can you talk about that a
- 38:53Speaker 3: little bit?
- 38:53Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 38:54Speaker 9: Yeah, it wasn't just for.
- 38:54Speaker 3: Sure, like what you mean, like you you told it,
- 38:57Speaker 3: like I'm saying, like people would have been like a
- 38:58Speaker 3: lot of people are just been like, yo.
- 38:59Speaker 9: This is just for the look.
- 39:02Speaker 7: Yeah, No, that ain't why we hustling. That ain't why
- 39:08Speaker 7: we grinding is this is a business and you got
- 39:11Speaker 7: to execute your business. So what you got to realize is,
- 39:16Speaker 7: you know, I'm from Miami. I love being in Miami,
- 39:18Speaker 7: and I love Atlanta. It's a lot of big business
- 39:20Speaker 7: going on in Atlanta. I believe it's more films in
- 39:23Speaker 7: production in Atlanta than it is in Cali because of
- 39:25Speaker 7: the tax breaks, et cetera that's going on in Georgia.
- 39:29Speaker 7: And so you got to understand when when somebody like
- 39:32Speaker 7: coming to America to Eddie Murphy and Paramount Films is
- 39:36Speaker 7: putting together these films. These are a hundred million dollar budgets,
- 39:40Speaker 7: and when they decide for your state to be, you know,
- 39:43Speaker 7: the location for forty percent of the film, you gotta
- 39:45Speaker 7: understand what's going on. So you know, right off the rip, man,
- 39:50Speaker 7: I gotta say salute to Eddie Murphy.
- 39:54Speaker 6: You know what I'm saying.
- 39:56Speaker 7: We did some good business and that's what it's about.
- 40:00Speaker 7: And I did that with a lot of my automobiles.
- 40:03Speaker 6: It's a lot of.
- 40:04Speaker 7: Things going on. And ship Rose want the paper, Rose
- 40:08Speaker 7: want the money. If it's about getting money, let's do
- 40:11Speaker 7: it in the honorable fashion. Then let's get it on.
- 40:13Speaker 10: And we can't We're not gonna pretend like you weren't
- 40:15Speaker 10: in the movie. We definitely got you in the movie.
- 40:17Speaker 10: And oh yeah, I recall you acting. That's the that's
- 40:20Speaker 10: the negotiator.
- 40:24Speaker 7: I ain't pressing nobody to give me a little cavio you.
- 40:29Speaker 7: I just let him know I could work my accent
- 40:32Speaker 7: being around my head.
- 40:33Speaker 6: Shit, Homies, I can't mess me.
- 40:42Speaker 11: It's acting something you want to keep pursuing. I remember
- 40:45Speaker 11: you in a few series.
- 40:47Speaker 10: So is that something that down the line as we
- 40:50Speaker 10: grow businesses, acting something you want to continue to pursue.
- 40:52Speaker 7: You know, I feel like, you know, the last few
- 40:54Speaker 7: conversations I've been having with a few homies, I think
- 40:56Speaker 7: you know, you never know you know what I'm saying.
- 40:59Speaker 6: You never know, you never know? You know?
- 41:02Speaker 7: Am I gonna really go in audition? Rose may missed all,
- 41:09Speaker 7: But if y'all work something out with me, I may
- 41:11Speaker 7: make that happen.
- 41:13Speaker 10: I want to talk about a business vesual that you
- 41:14Speaker 10: said you didn't do. You said the cigarette smoking, But
- 41:19Speaker 10: I know cookies is something that you're invested in, and
- 41:21Speaker 10: so cookies is coming to.
- 41:22Speaker 6: Miami, Cookies is coming to mind.
- 41:24Speaker 11: You're invested in that because that shout out to Burn.
- 41:26Speaker 10: Can you talk about that because I know some people
- 41:29Speaker 10: who have been to the store in Cali.
- 41:30Speaker 11: Yeah, and it's incredible.
- 41:32Speaker 6: It's amazing.
- 41:33Speaker 11: He talking about what's coming to my cookies.
- 41:35Speaker 7: Cookies is the number one man, It's the number one
- 41:38Speaker 7: strand when it comes to cannabis. You know what I'm saying,
- 41:40Speaker 7: y'all know I'm you know, I love to smoke. I
- 41:42Speaker 7: love to do it.
- 41:43Speaker 6: I do.
- 41:43Speaker 7: It's also you know, you know, it also helps me
- 41:47Speaker 7: with my seizure situation. So y'all could make sure y'all
- 41:51Speaker 7: put that in there too.
- 41:51Speaker 6: You do it for me. See, we're just purposes on
- 41:56Speaker 6: you know what I'm saying.
- 41:57Speaker 7: But what I did was I created a partnership with Burning.
- 42:00Speaker 7: We sat down, I created Collins APF. You know what
- 42:03Speaker 7: I'm saying, cannabis, and we created a partnership. We launched
- 42:07Speaker 7: early last year. It was a huge success. Pink Rose,
- 42:11Speaker 7: Lemon Pepper, you know, the other strands we sell out,
- 42:15Speaker 7: you know, first few minutes in the stores, and the
- 42:18Speaker 7: end of this year it's gonna be another few strands
- 42:21Speaker 7: going on. But once again, that's something that I love. Spirits, cannabis.
- 42:27Speaker 7: These are all multi billion dollar industries that I love.
- 42:31Speaker 7: Why would I keep myself from getting money with the
- 42:35Speaker 7: shit I love?
- 42:37Speaker 6: So make sure this is what you do when you sit.
- 42:39Speaker 7: Down and you at home, you look at everything that's
- 42:42Speaker 7: going on around you that's getting money, and you find
- 42:44Speaker 7: a way to put yourself in the middle of it.
- 42:47Speaker 6: But be a plus.
- 42:49Speaker 3: Let me ask you this if we can, a lot
- 42:52Speaker 3: of time we speak to like entertainers and athletes and
- 42:55Speaker 3: people always asking like their favorite highlights of.
- 42:57Speaker 9: Their career, like Lebron dunking over Terry's tricks and Terry
- 43:01Speaker 9: shout to Jason Terry. I wanted, I want, I want
- 43:05Speaker 9: to act.
- 43:07Speaker 3: I want to ask you what's your favorite highlight in business?
- 43:10Speaker 3: What's the thing that you're most proud of your like
- 43:13Speaker 3: you like damn, I'm really finessed that situation crazy, Like,
- 43:16Speaker 3: what's your favorite business highlight for your career?
- 43:21Speaker 6: Man?
- 43:21Speaker 7: I got a few, you know what I'm saying. I
- 43:24Speaker 7: got a few.
- 43:25Speaker 6: I can't, I can't.
- 43:25Speaker 7: You know, I'm thankful, you know what I'm saying. That's
- 43:28Speaker 7: one thing that you know, they'll let you know. I'm
- 43:30Speaker 7: grateful whatever it is. For my very first franchise when
- 43:34Speaker 7: we cracked twenty five.
- 43:37Speaker 6: As we continue to grow.
- 43:39Speaker 7: You know, being a franchise e was something I never
- 43:42Speaker 7: could you know, fathom that was the perfect word for that.
- 43:46Speaker 7: And you know, here we are, you know, a part
- 43:49Speaker 7: of so many successful brands. It could have been album
- 43:55Speaker 7: number ten. You know, that's where everything drive from my
- 43:58Speaker 7: music and my passion for the music that I make.
- 44:01Speaker 7: Album number ten most definitely was you know you in
- 44:04Speaker 7: the club and you know that tier run down. You
- 44:08Speaker 7: gotta ease that motherfucker, you know what I'm saying, And
- 44:12Speaker 7: it's just all the love you getting in the fans
- 44:14Speaker 7: that's been there, you know since oh six. So you know,
- 44:17Speaker 7: maybe cracking that album number ten may have been to
- 44:19Speaker 7: one for Rose.
- 44:20Speaker 3: Can we go overside for a few minutes? You got
- 44:22Speaker 3: a couple of minutes. I think they said listen to it, brother,
- 44:25Speaker 3: all right at this.
- 44:26Speaker 11: That album mode.
- 44:26Speaker 10: So in my mind I got I got a you go,
- 44:29Speaker 10: you go, you go, because I'm I'm thinking about music.
- 44:31Speaker 1: Guy.
- 44:32Speaker 3: Well, since we I wanted to ask them in real
- 44:33Speaker 3: estate question. All right, real estate, so everybody knows you
- 44:38Speaker 3: got to be in the Holy Feelds property deeply discounted,
- 44:41Speaker 3: and I believe you just brought another property in Miami
- 44:43Speaker 3: from ballplayer?
- 44:46Speaker 9: Would you get Martin? Start of mind?
- 44:48Speaker 6: Correct?
- 44:49Speaker 9: But you're buying these products.
- 44:50Speaker 3: So, like we teach real estate, it's like, you know,
- 44:52Speaker 3: you get the stressed properties, low market value, right, So
- 44:57Speaker 3: how are you getting because you're getting like mansions, Well
- 45:00Speaker 3: you're getting a deep discount. Everything you need to get
- 45:02Speaker 3: you need to get on a discount.
- 45:03Speaker 9: And how you evaluating that way? It's like, all right, this.
- 45:06Speaker 3: Is the time for me to get this five million
- 45:08Speaker 3: dollar crib for three million later.
- 45:11Speaker 7: So really it's just that's being prepared as a boss.
- 45:17Speaker 7: You could be prepared or you could be ill prepared.
- 45:22Speaker 7: Having capital keeps you in a position where you prepared
- 45:25Speaker 7: when something presents itself somebody in another situation, you could
- 45:35Speaker 7: capitalize on it. That's what it's all about. I'm in
- 45:40Speaker 7: a position where some shit come across from me. Five
- 45:44Speaker 7: minutes later, I'm at the realist. I'm at the I'm
- 45:47Speaker 7: at the property. I'm meeting with the realtor. The realtor
- 45:52Speaker 7: don't know I know the owner. I'm talking with the realtor.
- 45:55Speaker 7: She's a beautiful young lady. She helping me out. I'm
- 45:58Speaker 7: looking at the house. Ten minutes later, I told her
- 46:00Speaker 7: it's mine.
- 46:02Speaker 6: And she looking like, what do you mean it's mine? Baby?
- 46:13Speaker 6: Like a ball, she says, So if it's yours.
- 46:18Speaker 7: With baby, she's going to do your loan. Do you
- 46:35Speaker 7: want it in the box? Baby? It's mine, thank you.
- 46:43Speaker 7: And that's straight up how I go keeping your capital
- 46:46Speaker 7: and keep you in a position of power. When something
- 46:48Speaker 7: that's worth ten million come up and it's they selling
- 46:51Speaker 7: it for four million, buy it. It's gonna be worth money.
- 46:56Speaker 7: I've never lost money with real estate. I never have.
- 47:02Speaker 3: Well, there you have it, ladies and gentlemen. I believe
- 47:05Speaker 3: that we got the hard stop. But Drake, the album
- 47:11Speaker 3: is the album coming.
- 47:14Speaker 6: Man.
- 47:14Speaker 7: Shout out to Drizzy Drake. Y'all make some noise for
- 47:16Speaker 7: Drizzy Drake.
- 47:21Speaker 11: Stepping on my kicks or get you fucked up?
- 47:23Speaker 7: Yeah, big time one time for Drizzy Drake. Me and
- 47:28Speaker 7: my brother we most definitely had a conversation discussing us,
- 47:33Speaker 7: you know, putting the project together and you know the
- 47:35Speaker 7: way we would do it, and you know, of course
- 47:37Speaker 7: there's nothing in concrete, but we had to speak on
- 47:40Speaker 7: it because that's something that's been in the a F
- 47:42Speaker 7: for many years now with Yolo et cetera, and you know,
- 47:46Speaker 7: the way we vibe, the way we connect. It's always been,
- 47:49Speaker 7: you know, just some smooth player shit. You know what
- 47:51Speaker 7: I'm saying straight up, And I always liked that line
- 47:54Speaker 7: right there.
- 47:56Speaker 11: I had to tell that to my try to step
- 47:58Speaker 11: up my new niggas.
- 47:59Speaker 3: I said, we appreciate you, bro what you had more
- 48:02Speaker 3: time man. But first of all, I want to say
- 48:04Speaker 3: thank you because you might not even realize that you
- 48:07Speaker 3: really was one of the major inspirations for this financial
- 48:09Speaker 3: literacy movement.
- 48:10Speaker 9: You deemed dash jay Z.
- 48:11Speaker 3: A couple of other people like watching your moves, you
- 48:14Speaker 3: know what I'm saying, Like us as hip hop fans,
- 48:16Speaker 3: like we didn't have talent to rap, but we watched
- 48:20Speaker 3: your business moves and we got a lot of inspiration
- 48:22Speaker 3: and motivation from the things that you was doing outside
- 48:25Speaker 3: of the world of entertainment. So first and foremost, thank
- 48:28Speaker 3: you for that.
- 48:30Speaker 11: Yes, sir, Yes, sir, Yes sir.

- 48:52Speaker 7: the look that's in your eyes are different from when
- 48:57Speaker 7: you talking about anything else.
- 49:01Speaker 6: Make sure the look that's in your eyes.
- 49:04Speaker 7: When you talking about your fucking dreams, it's different from
