- 5:01Carmen Hecox: Create a roadmap for your future that can help you stay focused and motivated.
- 5:08Carmen Hecox: For me, my five year plan is to speak in front of a large group of women who are seeking encouragement as they migrate through midlife.
- 5:17Carmen Hecox: I want to change the phrase, midlife crisis to a midlife transformation.
- 5:22Carmen Hecox: Doesn't that sound more appealing?
- 5:25Carmen Hecox: I want women to look forward to becoming a new, robust version of themselves.
- 5:31Carmen Hecox: Remember that journal I asked you to use in the beginning?
- 5:36Carmen Hecox: While I recommend you practice journaling daily, write what's on your mind.
- 5:41Carmen Hecox: It doesn't have to be pages and pages of journaling.
- 5:44Carmen Hecox: It's just a place for you to express your thoughts, dreams, and plans, And the best part is you began your journaling experience with this exercise, so I know it's gonna be a winner.
- 5:58Carmen Hecox: So to summarize, I talked about taking time to reflect on your life and appreciate and applaud yourself for your journey well traveled.
- 6:09Carmen Hecox: Reevaluate your goals and priorities?
- 6:11Carmen Hecox: Have they changed?
- 6:13Carmen Hecox: How will your priorities help you reach your goals?
- 6:16Carmen Hecox: Embrace change.
- 6:17Carmen Hecox: Yes, I said embrace change.
- 6:20Carmen Hecox: Don't fight it.
- 6:21Carmen Hecox: Embrace it, so that you can discover your passion and interest, take care of yourself if you don't, who will?
- 6:28Carmen Hecox: And finally begin to dream and I mean, dream big.
- 6:33Carmen Hecox: What does the future look like for you?
- 6:36Carmen Hecox: A midlife crisis can be a challenging phase in a woman's life, but it can also be an opportunity for growth and change By reflecting, reevaluating, embracing change, taking care of yourself, and creating a vision for your future.
