The Accidental Traveller
A fly gets into a car and unknowingly becomes a passenger. Perhaps it travels a few kilometres, or perhaps it ends up hundreds of kilometres away before finally flying out. Does it know how far it has travelled? What does it do in this completely unfamiliar place? This episode uses that tiny accidental traveller as a metaphor for the unexpected journeys in our own lives. Sometimes circumstances take us somewhere we never planned to be, and instead of endlessly trying to return to the past, perhaps the question is simply: what kind of life can I build from here?
