- 0:17Speaker 1: festival over the weekend it fast forwarded the month for me.
- 0:20Speaker 2: Right it's christmas no it's still summer yeah it is.
- 0:25Speaker 3: Still summer like another day whatever actually it's not taking
- 0:29Speaker 3: all the squeeze 11 hours that's.
- 0:32Speaker 1: It guys this is a great time of year though
- 0:34Speaker 1: california with the exception of that kelvin wave which we'll
- 0:36Speaker 1: talk about.
- 0:37Speaker 4: Oh my god the kelvin wave don't get me started.
- 0:39Speaker 1: Uh mostly sunny today highs around 80 90 inland that's
- 0:42Speaker 1: still hot uh you're welcome i just wanted to make
- 0:45Speaker 1: sure that we start the.
- 0:46Speaker 2: Day i am gagging on your spray that's not i may.
- 0:49Speaker 1: Have over sprayed on your side of the studio.
- 0:51Speaker 4: It's like in my hair Yeah, we're going to smell
- 0:54Speaker 4: like this for the rest of the day.
- 0:55Speaker 1: This is room spray. I now use the room spray
- 0:58Speaker 1: throughout the course of my day, whether I'm at this
- 1:00Speaker 1: job or another job or at home. Before I go
- 1:02Speaker 1: to sleep, I spray the room with this.
- 1:05Speaker 4: You can't sleep to this.
- 1:06Speaker 1: Yes, you can.
- 1:07Speaker 2: This is intense.
- 1:07Speaker 1: This is relaxing.
- 1:09Speaker 2: No.
- 1:10Speaker 1: It's supposed to make you feel comfortable.
- 1:11Speaker 2: It's not. And why do you get to own the
- 1:13Speaker 2: smell of the room? I'm not going to do it
- 1:15Speaker 2: every day.
- 1:16Speaker 5: Who gets to decide the smell of the room?
- 1:18Speaker 1: I wanted you to feel what it's like to relax
- 1:20Speaker 1: for once.
- 1:21Speaker 2: It'll relax.
- 1:22Speaker 4: It's not giving clean ingredients.
- 1:23Speaker 1: It smells like flowers. It is clean. You're always talking
- 1:28Speaker 1: to me about what to do, Tanya, you know, like,
- 1:32Speaker 1: the balance thing and focus on, was it stretching?
- 1:36Speaker 4: Be present.
- 1:36Speaker 1: All that stuff. All of my life lessons. So I thought,
- 1:39Speaker 1: what I've never shared with you is that aroma triggers
- 1:43Speaker 1: presence and relaxation for me. Scents, smells. And it can
- 1:46Speaker 1: go the other way too. If there's a bad one,
- 1:48Speaker 1: I don't love it either. This is not relaxed.
- 1:50Speaker 4: What do you smell?
- 1:50Speaker 2: And you came in and like sprayed it all in
- 1:52Speaker 2: her face.
- 1:53Speaker 1: I did not. I did not. Tanya was not even
- 1:55Speaker 1: in her seat.
- 1:55Speaker 2: Oh my gosh.
- 1:56Speaker 1: I actually sprayed it in her area.
- 1:58Speaker 2: You were safe.
- 1:59Speaker 6: It dissipates.
- 2:00Speaker 1: Do you not think that smells?
- 2:02Speaker 4: Is this your new toy?
- 2:03Speaker 1: What is this? Well, yeah.
- 2:06Speaker 4: Take that with you.
- 2:07Speaker 1: I travel now with my pillow, my room spray, and
- 2:10Speaker 1: my coffee beans.
- 2:11Speaker 4: Yeah, it's quite the suitcase you got.
- 2:13Speaker 1: It's difficult to work with you guys, so I need
- 2:15Speaker 1: to relax. Coming up, we're going to start paying bills
- 2:18Speaker 1: this morning. We got a second date update. If you're dating,
- 2:21Speaker 1: you might want to hear this. Maybe you can relate
- 2:23Speaker 1: to it. That's going to be later this morning at 720.
- 2:25Speaker 1: And Disneyland tickets are all morning. Going to the 323
- 2:28Speaker 1: to pay a bill next. Good morning. We have a
- 2:31Speaker 1: thief in the room.
- 2:32Speaker 7: No.
- 2:32Speaker 1: Who could it be, Tubbs? Did you steal something? Not you.
- 2:35Speaker 2: What are you missing?
- 2:36Speaker 1: I'm not missing anything, but the market of farmers is
- 2:39Speaker 1: missing something.
- 2:40Speaker 4: It's me.
- 2:41Speaker 1: It's Tanya.
- 2:42Speaker 4: It's me.
- 2:43Speaker 1: Now, I've heard of maybe taking, you know when you
- 2:46Speaker 1: go to the store and you put nuts in a
- 2:48Speaker 1: bag and eat a couple nuts on the way to
- 2:50Speaker 1: the checkout line? I think that's okay.
- 2:51Speaker 8: Right.
- 2:52Speaker 4: I don't even do that.
- 2:54Speaker 1: But you steal from the farmers?
- 2:55Speaker 3: I didn't realize I was stealing from them. So I
- 2:59Speaker 3: got my garlic. I put it in one of those
- 3:01Speaker 3: little baggies. And I was at the farmer's market. So
- 3:04Speaker 3: I saw a friend that I haven't seen in a while.
- 3:06Speaker 3: And we started getting into this intense conversation. It was
- 3:09Speaker 3: not just like a, hey, how's your weekend?
- 3:11Speaker 1: That's the wrong thing to do at the farmer's market.
- 3:13Speaker 2: I mean, it's Tanya.
- 3:14Speaker 1: It was fertility.
- 3:16Speaker 4: It was like all the things. So we were going deep.
- 3:18Speaker 4: We were going like... all the things.
- 3:20Speaker 9: Right.
- 3:20Speaker 4: So I'm like engaged and I'm talking to her for
- 3:22Speaker 4: maybe 30 minutes. So I, yeah. So I didn't even
- 3:25Speaker 4: realize that.
- 3:26Speaker 1: Remind me which farmer's market to avoid.
- 3:29Speaker 3: So I, I, I, I put the bag in like
- 3:32Speaker 3: my like cart.
- 3:33Speaker 4: I didn't remember that I'd taken anything from there.
- 3:35Speaker 3: And I was like, I just moved on to the next,
- 3:37Speaker 3: like whatever, to the next farmer. I get home, unloading
- 3:41Speaker 3: the groceries. I didn't even realize it until, no, my
- 3:44Speaker 3: husband texts me. He's like, oh, these little garlics are
- 3:45Speaker 3: so cute that you got. And I was like, oh
- 3:47Speaker 3: my God, I didn't pay for those.
- 3:49Speaker 1: And those are cute garlics, probably more expensive.
- 3:51Speaker 4: Yeah, organic.
- 3:52Speaker 1: So did you obviously go back and pay?
- 3:56Speaker 4: No, this was 3 p.m. on a Sunday.
- 3:57Speaker 1: It's every Sunday. You need to retrace your steps and
- 4:01Speaker 1: go back and tell the farmer.
- 4:03Speaker 10: No, no, I am.
- 4:03Speaker 4: I'm going to go back on Sunday.
- 4:05Speaker 1: Ronnie, follow her with the camera.
- 4:07Speaker 9: I am.
- 4:08Speaker 4: I felt so bad, but I was like, what do
- 4:09Speaker 4: I do? I have to wait. I have to wait
- 4:11Speaker 4: until the next week and go back. And you do.
- 4:14Speaker 1: Otherwise, you'll lose sleep. You carry a little bit of guilt,
- 4:17Speaker 1: but this is guilt you probably should carry. I do.
- 4:18Speaker 4: I feel so bad. I'm like, why did nobody chase
- 4:20Speaker 4: me down? How did they just let me walk away?
- 4:23Speaker 4: They probably didn't even notice.
- 4:24Speaker 1: They're peaceful farmers. They're not going to run you down. Okay?
- 4:28Speaker 1: That's the reason you go there.
- 4:29Speaker 3: They should watch their crops a little better.
- 4:31Speaker 1: You should also not do a podcast in the middle
- 4:33Speaker 1: of the raspberries and the almonds. That's true.
- 4:34Speaker 4: Exactly.
- 4:35Speaker 1: It's not the place.
- 4:36Speaker 4: It's just very true.
- 4:38Speaker 1: All right. Well, you're a good person for acknowledging it
- 4:40Speaker 1: publicly and then going back to fix it.
- 4:42Speaker 4: And feeling bad about it.
- 4:43Speaker 1: Four-pack of Disneyland tickets next. Pour you a kiss. Olivia Deen.
- 4:49Speaker 1: So easy to fall in love. Is it really? Let's
- 4:52Speaker 1: talk later about that. Now, Michaela. I want to talk
- 4:55Speaker 1: with you. We're still regaling each other with stories of
- 4:59Speaker 1: our iHeartRadio Music Festival. Ronnie's got all the highlights up. KissFM.com.
- 5:04Speaker 1: Great job. You know what happened to me? I forgot
- 5:08Speaker 1: to tell you. Makeda, before we get to you being
- 5:10Speaker 1: stuck in the elevator. I was in that gym. They've
- 5:13Speaker 1: got at the Aria.
- 5:14Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 5:15Speaker 6: Amazing.
- 5:15Speaker 1: It's great. Everybody's in there. Rich Bressler's throwing a ball down.
- 5:18Speaker 2: It's actually really fun.
- 5:19Speaker 5: It feels like you're working out with like, obviously all
- 5:21Speaker 5: your coworkers, but yes, everybody.
- 5:23Speaker 1: From my heart is there and pumping it. But other
- 5:25Speaker 1: people are there. I'm talking to all kinds of people,
- 5:27Speaker 1: meeting people left and right. I'm working out. I'm doing
- 5:30Speaker 1: a rotation with people that are from Detroit. Actually met
- 5:33Speaker 1: some folks and a big guy, big guy asked me
- 5:37Speaker 1: if I wanted to work in with him. I'm like, yeah, bro.
- 5:39Speaker 1: If I, if you think I can handle that, I'm in.
- 5:41Speaker 1: It was difficult for me.
- 5:42Speaker 11: Yeah.
- 5:42Speaker 2: You powered through.
- 5:43Speaker 1: I was doing the, I was doing the cardio at
- 5:46Speaker 1: the end and I happened to be listening to that
- 5:48Speaker 1: song by Natasha Bedingfield, Unwritten.
- 5:50Speaker 10: Unwritten.
- 5:50Speaker 8: Okay.
- 5:51Speaker 1: It's on my running playlist.
- 5:52Speaker 11: Cute.
- 5:54Speaker 1: The same. So I, I'm done. I have my last
- 5:56Speaker 1: minute to go and I'm on my cool down. I
- 5:58Speaker 1: take out my headphones. And I was on the thing
- 6:01Speaker 1: for 30 minutes. What's playing on the Aria speaker? The
- 6:04Speaker 1: same song at the same point that I was when
- 6:07Speaker 1: I took out my headphones.
- 6:08Speaker 2: That is weird.
- 6:08Speaker 1: It's a sign.
- 6:09Speaker 4: The sign for what?
- 6:11Speaker 1: I'm a sign person now.
- 6:12Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 6:13Speaker 1: Are you a sign person? You got to read the signs.
- 6:15Speaker 4: Obviously I'm a sign person.
- 6:17Speaker 1: I'm a sign person. My next chapter is unwritten. That's
- 6:20Speaker 1: what it was telling me.
- 6:22Speaker 6: It's unwritten.
- 6:23Speaker 1: I got it. I got the book, but I got
- 6:25Speaker 1: a clean slate. I got a clear page.
- 6:27Speaker 2: It's so cute.
- 6:28Speaker 1: Time is buffering.
- 6:30Speaker 3: Well, I'm trying to connect the dots of like, okay,
- 6:32Speaker 3: it's unwritten. The next chapter today is Tuesday.
- 6:35Speaker 2: Ryan, all of our lives are unwritten.
- 6:38Speaker 1: When does that happen? When does that happen? The song
- 6:41Speaker 1: is playing on their automated system.
- 6:42Speaker 2: That is weird.
- 6:43Speaker 1: At the same point that I take out my headphones.
- 6:45Speaker 1: It was like at the bridge of the song.
- 6:47Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 6:48Speaker 1: Where's the song?
- 6:48Speaker 6: I need the song.
- 6:49Speaker 3: No, this actually really means something.
- 6:51Speaker 1: Here's the, listen, this is the hook. Right there. What
- 6:55Speaker 1: a great song to run. It means something. Come back
- 6:57Speaker 1: to me.
- 7:00Speaker 4: Is there a chapter that you just recently closed?
- 7:03Speaker 1: If I'm going to tell somebody, is it going to
- 7:04Speaker 1: be you right now?
- 7:05Speaker 4: Yes, tell me.
- 7:07Speaker 1: Did you? Michaela, what happened?
- 7:08Speaker 6: Are you all right?
- 7:09Speaker 1: She got stuck in the elevator while I was listening
- 7:11Speaker 1: to Natasha Bedingfield.
- 7:12Speaker 12: I still have PTSD. I was alone and I was
- 7:15Speaker 12: going to the arena.
- 7:16Speaker 2: I feel like it's even scarier.
- 7:17Speaker 12: And it literally like jolted and made a huge bang
- 7:20Speaker 12: when I was running down to the lobby. And my
- 7:22Speaker 12: heart immediately started pounding. And I get claustrophobic really easily.
- 7:25Speaker 12: So thank God no one was in it with me.
- 7:27Speaker 12: But I was like, what do I do? Like, I
- 7:29Speaker 12: don't know what to do. Do I hit the emergency button?
- 7:31Speaker 12: And then it started to go down again. And then
- 7:33Speaker 12: a big bang. It happened again.
- 7:34Speaker 8: And it shook.
- 7:36Speaker 12: And it finally made it to the 14th floor.
- 7:38Speaker 8: And I ran out. And people tried to get in.
- 7:40Speaker 8: And I was like, no, don't get in. It's broken.
- 7:42Speaker 12: And we couldn't even get back down for like another
- 7:44Speaker 12: five minutes because it that elevator wouldn't go down so
- 7:47Speaker 12: when you hit the button to get another elevator that
- 7:49Speaker 12: door would just open.
- 7:51Speaker 1: So what was the problem and did the lights go
- 7:53Speaker 1: off in it because that can be worse.
- 7:54Speaker 12: No i think they did flicker though so yeah i
- 7:57Speaker 12: listen i have the same i get stuck in elevators
- 8:00Speaker 12: all the time i was going up to the ball
- 8:02Speaker 12: on new year's.
- 8:02Speaker 4: Eve all the time like twice in.
- 8:04Speaker 1: Your life uh eight years old in hilton head south
- 8:07Speaker 1: carolina and up to the ball on new year's eve
- 8:09Speaker 1: i got stuck It is scary.
- 8:12Speaker 2: It's probably a sign.
- 8:13Speaker 1: But you were a good person by warning those people
- 8:14Speaker 1: on 14. Don't enter. Don't risk your life.
- 8:16Speaker 8: But I didn't get to tell anybody. So hopefully no one.
- 8:19Speaker 1: Else got stuck. Well, too late now.
- 8:23Speaker 4: It was 2016.
- 8:23Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 8:24Speaker 10: What?
- 8:25Speaker 4: When you got stuck in the elevator.
- 8:26Speaker 2: 11 years ago, Ryan.
- 8:28Speaker 1: What's the point you're making? I'm trying to figure out
- 8:30Speaker 1: the point.
- 8:31Speaker 4: All the time you said you get stuck in the elevator.
- 8:32Speaker 8: 10 years ago.
- 8:33Speaker 1: But the point you guys are making, it's fine. That
- 8:35Speaker 1: was the night yesterday.
- 8:36Speaker 5: Okay.
- 8:37Speaker 1: Next time you have a headache, you got to do this.
- 8:39Speaker 1: It's going to help a lot, but like 40% kiss.
- 8:41Speaker 1: Quote of the day here in a second, as well
- 8:44Speaker 1: as listen to this. And I'm very much couldn't wait
- 8:47Speaker 1: to tell you because I'm an advocate of it. If
- 8:49Speaker 1: you get a headache, you want 40% more relief.
- 8:51Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 8:53Speaker 1: So next time your head is pounding instead of wherever
- 8:56Speaker 1: you might take drink coffee.
- 9:01Speaker 7: Okay.
- 9:02Speaker 1: Drink coffee when you get a headache. It makes it 40%
- 9:05Speaker 1: more effective for pain relief, generally. Not very, but generally.
- 9:08Speaker 2: But what if you have a headache at night?
- 9:10Speaker 1: Coffee.
- 9:11Speaker 4: You can drink coffee at night. You'll be up all night.
- 9:13Speaker 1: Senka. Ooh, Senka. Who's that? Decaf. Today's quote. I only
- 9:19Speaker 1: know Senka because I was watching Seinfeld the other night
- 9:21Speaker 1: when I was going to sleep, and they made a
- 9:22Speaker 1: Senka joke. It's on back-to-back. Follow the plan, not your mood.
- 9:28Speaker 1: Follow the plan, not your mood. Join Kiss. It's Kiss FM, Kehlani.
- 9:32Speaker 1: All right, 720, we're going to make a call for
- 9:34Speaker 1: a second date update. He knows exactly why she blocked him.
- 9:37Speaker 1: Another woman he's been seeing confronted him and made a scene,
- 9:41Speaker 1: but he wants a chance to explain. Sisney has headlines.
- 9:44Speaker 1: Kiss FM headlines with Sisney.
- 9:46Speaker 5: Well, Governor Kevin Newsom declared a statewide state of emergency
- 9:50Speaker 5: as officials brace for a potentially historic and destructive El
- 9:54Speaker 5: Nino storm season.
- 9:56Speaker 13: L.A.
- 9:56Speaker 5: County has recorded 100 West Nile virus cases this year. year,
- 10:00Speaker 5: the highest number in nearly a decade. The Clippers hired L.A.
- 10:04Speaker 5: attorney John S. Gibson as interim CEO, taking over for
- 10:09Speaker 5: the team. Balmer, who is serving a one year ban
- 10:13Speaker 5: by the NBA. And Taylor Swift will become the first
- 10:17Speaker 5: recipient of the new Artist Director Honors at the 2026
- 10:21Speaker 5: MTV VMAs, airing Sunday from the Peacock Theater in L.A.
- 10:27Speaker 1: So before we get into pay your bills and the
- 10:29Speaker 1: second date update, the weather has been in the news.
- 10:32Speaker 1: It is in the news a lot. But, you know,
- 10:34Speaker 1: with the waves crashing, the tides rising down south there
- 10:38Speaker 1: in Orange County, And now this massive Kelvin wave that's
- 10:42Speaker 1: headed towards Southern California. Look out in the areas of
- 10:45Speaker 1: San Clemente and Laguna, Dana Point, Carlsbad.
- 10:49Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 10:50Speaker 1: Already dealing with it. But what? is the Kelvin wave.
- 10:54Speaker 1: And here's what I'm trying to understand. It moves slowly.
- 10:56Speaker 1: It's moving slowly from Mexico to just warm water?
- 10:58Speaker 4: Exactly.
- 10:58Speaker 5: And it's because of the warm water. It's not like
- 11:00Speaker 5: this giant tsunami style wave that's going to be crashing
- 11:03Speaker 5: into the shore, but it is going to reach us
- 11:05Speaker 5: around early October is what they're saying. And the concern
- 11:08Speaker 5: is that it raises the baseline sea level. So then
- 11:11Speaker 5: you add a high tide, big surf or.
- 11:13Speaker 2: Storm on top of that.
- 11:14Speaker 5: And suddenly there's even more potential for flooding, erosion, as
- 11:17Speaker 5: we've already been seeing on like so many of our beaches.
- 11:21Speaker 5: And it's kind of wild that like, all this stuff
- 11:23Speaker 5: is happening, but is it? Or are we just paying
- 11:26Speaker 5: more attention.
- 11:27Speaker 2: To it now?
- 11:27Speaker 1: Because I feel like it's been.
- 11:29Speaker 2: The erosion conversation has been happening.
- 11:31Speaker 5: For, like, decades.
- 11:32Speaker 1: Well, we don't know.
- 11:33Speaker 3: I don't know what this six- I don't remember it
- 11:34Speaker 3: happening ever.
- 11:35Speaker 6: I do.
- 11:36Speaker 11: I do, too.
- 11:36Speaker 5: People have been, like, talking about it, but I feel
- 11:37Speaker 5: like this year- It was, like, 2016. This year specifically.
- 11:40Speaker 1: That's your year. That had to be a few minutes ago.
- 11:42Speaker 6: Dang.
- 11:43Speaker 1: He's bitter. You know, it's moving at six miles per hour,
- 11:46Speaker 1: this warm water. So it's at a slow pace. But
- 11:48Speaker 1: I was wondering why it's called the Kelvin Wave.
- 11:50Speaker 4: So why?
- 11:51Speaker 1: I know a guy named Kelvin. It's not him. But
- 11:54Speaker 1: there's also a temperature measurement, like the Kelvin scale of temperature.
- 11:58Speaker 4: No, don't they do it by alphabet?
- 11:59Speaker 1: No, that's hurricanes. No, that's hurricanes.
- 12:01Speaker 7: Oh.
- 12:01Speaker 1: But this guy is a thermodynamic legend because the Kelvin
- 12:05Speaker 1: temperature measurement and the wave.
- 12:08Speaker 7: Wow.
- 12:08Speaker 6: The more you know.
- 12:09Speaker 1: Named after the same guy.
- 12:09Speaker 13: Look at that.
- 12:10Speaker 1: That guy's a legend. Popular. I don't know if he's alive. Lord?
- 12:14Speaker 1: Probably not. His name is Lord Kelvin.
- 12:16Speaker 4: His Latin name's probably not.
- 12:18Speaker 1: I doubt he is anymore. We're paying a bill next.
- 12:21Speaker 1: It's Kiss. Okay, this is Kiss. Time for a second
- 12:24Speaker 1: date update. James, listen to this, Sisney and Tanya. It says,
- 12:29Speaker 1: I know exactly why she blocked me after the date.
- 12:31Speaker 1: A woman I've been seeing crashed our dinner and made
- 12:33Speaker 1: a scene. What are the odds of that? James, Manhattan Beach.
- 12:38Speaker 1: How are you, bro?
- 12:40Speaker 10: I'm doing pretty well.
- 12:42Speaker 13: Doing pretty well. Well, actually, I'm doing well and not
- 12:46Speaker 13: so well.
- 12:47Speaker 1: Yeah. To be honest.
- 12:49Speaker 13: Let's just be honest with that one.
- 12:50Speaker 1: So I just told Tissy and Tanya what kind of happened.
- 12:54Speaker 1: Did this woman who came up to you to cause
- 12:56Speaker 1: the scene, did she follow you there? Was she coincidentally
- 12:58Speaker 1: there while you were on a date?
- 13:01Speaker 13: I think she was just coincidentally there. I'm not, you know,
- 13:06Speaker 13: I wouldn't doubt it after everything that I've learned that
- 13:09Speaker 13: she may have just been following me, but initial thought
- 13:14Speaker 13: is that she just happened to be there.
- 13:17Speaker 1: So you're out with this girl and then you're an
- 13:19Speaker 1: ex or something comes up to you. What does she
- 13:21Speaker 1: do to make a scene? What'd she say?
- 13:24Speaker 13: Oh, so she just walks up and first of all,
- 13:26Speaker 13: I've only been on a date with the other girl
- 13:28Speaker 13: like three times. So she just walks up. She literally goes, Oh,
- 13:34Speaker 13: so we're dating other people.
- 13:35Speaker 1: Uh, wait, the girl that you're with said, are you
- 13:39Speaker 1: dating other people?
- 13:41Speaker 13: No, the girl who came up. So we're dating other people?
- 13:46Speaker 1: Well, are you with the girl who came up?
- 13:48Speaker 13: No, we just went on a couple of dates.
- 13:52Speaker 1: Okay, so it's not an ex-girlfriend. It's a girl you
- 13:53Speaker 1: went on three dates with that came up to you
- 13:55Speaker 1: on another date.
- 13:57Speaker 13: Yes, literally three dates. And yeah, now it's like we're
- 14:03Speaker 13: married somehow in her mind.
- 14:06Speaker 1: And the woman you were with at the table at
- 14:08Speaker 1: the time, how'd she react to all this?
- 14:11Speaker 10: Oh, yeah.
- 14:12Speaker 13: She looked very confused on what's going on. It made
- 14:15Speaker 13: me really feel... I know she kind of felt some
- 14:18Speaker 13: type of way. You know, deep down, I was worried
- 14:22Speaker 13: that she's really feeling like, oh, this guy's full of drama.
- 14:25Speaker 1: Yeah. I think it's kind of a bad moment and
- 14:34Speaker 1: a red flag that you're, you're thinking, first of all,
- 14:36Speaker 1: you're thinking that you're not dating the other girls thinking
- 14:39Speaker 1: you are dating. Then you're with this new person. It's very,
- 14:41Speaker 1: to me, it's like, if I'm the girl with you, bro,
- 14:45Speaker 1: I'm thinking this is already just too complicated.
- 14:47Speaker 4: I'm out.
- 14:47Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:49Speaker 1: And so she did block you. She is out.
- 14:52Speaker 13: I tried to explain myself to her and my message
- 14:57Speaker 13: just was not saying delivered.
- 14:59Speaker 6: Okay.
- 14:59Speaker 1: So we were going to, I mean, normally what we
- 15:01Speaker 1: do is try and call and find out what happened,
- 15:02Speaker 1: but I think I know what happened. What do you
- 15:03Speaker 1: want us to do when we call her?
- 15:06Speaker 13: I just want to explain myself. Like, I don't want
- 15:09Speaker 13: to be with me. I just want her to know, like, like,
- 15:12Speaker 13: you know, I'm not that dude and I don't want
- 15:15Speaker 13: her to think that I'm that guy.
- 15:17Speaker 6: I understand.
- 15:17Speaker 1: So he wants a moment to speak his piece. Versus
- 15:20Speaker 1: trying to get her back. But if it happens, great. Next,
- 15:23Speaker 1: a kiss. It is Kiss FM. Okay, let me grab
- 15:27Speaker 1: you here for a second because James reached out to
- 15:29Speaker 1: us for this second date update. And he was out
- 15:32Speaker 1: with this woman, Sierra, who's on the phone. We're about
- 15:34Speaker 1: to talk to Sierra. And then another girl he'd been
- 15:37Speaker 1: out with three times was at the same restaurant and
- 15:39Speaker 1: approached him and said... hey, are we seeing other people?
- 15:42Speaker 1: And James is like, we've only gone out like three times.
- 15:44Speaker 1: What's the big deal? And Ciara, who he's on a
- 15:47Speaker 1: date with for the first time, says, I'm not so
- 15:50Speaker 1: into the drama and blocks him afterwards. Normally we'd call
- 15:53Speaker 1: up and find out what happened, but we know what happened.
- 15:56Speaker 1: He just wants the last word to speak his piece
- 16:00Speaker 1: to say what really happened and doesn't so much care
- 16:03Speaker 1: if she wants to go out again.
- 16:04Speaker 4: He's using us.
- 16:06Speaker 1: But I'm used to it. No. James, be quiet, okay?
- 16:11Speaker 1: Be quiet.
- 16:12Speaker 13: Okay.
- 16:13Speaker 1: We're coming back here. Sierra's on the phone, and I'm
- 16:15Speaker 1: going to speak to her for a second. I'm assisting Tanya,
- 16:17Speaker 1: and then we'll bring you in, all right?
- 16:19Speaker 6: Okay, sounds good. All right, here we go.
- 16:21Speaker 1: Hey, Sierra, how are you? It's Ryan Seacrest, everybody on
- 16:24Speaker 1: Kiss FM. You're on with us.
- 16:26Speaker 10: Awesome, how are you?
- 16:28Speaker 1: I'm great. Thanks for coming on the air. So we're
- 16:30Speaker 1: calling you about this date you had with James.
- 16:34Speaker 6: Yes.
- 16:34Speaker 3: How'd it go?
- 16:35Speaker 1: It was perfect.
- 16:36Speaker 10: It was actually super awkward. But wait, why are you
- 16:39Speaker 10: calling me about it?
- 16:40Speaker 1: Well, it's going to make a lot of sense very soon.
- 16:43Speaker 1: But is it true that you blocked him after the date?
- 16:45Speaker 10: Yeah, I had to. It was just the whole situation
- 16:49Speaker 10: was really awkward.
- 16:50Speaker 1: And I think I know the situation. There was drama
- 16:52Speaker 1: with another girl or woman.
- 16:53Speaker 10: I think he was seeing someone. But yeah, she came
- 16:57Speaker 10: to the table. She made this whole scene. It was
- 17:00Speaker 10: god awful. So I had to leave. Good luck. I
- 17:02Speaker 10: don't want any part of that.
- 17:03Speaker 1: I get it.
- 17:05Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 17:05Speaker 1: I totally. Did you like the guy or not? Yes.
- 17:09Speaker 14: I liked him so much.
- 17:10Speaker 10: He was cute and he was funny and he had
- 17:12Speaker 10: like tattoos.
- 17:14Speaker 2: You don't want to try to give him a second chance?
- 17:18Speaker 7: Uh, no.
- 17:19Speaker 10: It seems like he's got a lot of stuff going
- 17:21Speaker 10: on there. It's just not for me.
- 17:23Speaker 1: Do you mind if I ask about the tattoos?
- 17:28Speaker 4: Not the task at hand.
- 17:29Speaker 1: I know, but I just like one that you remember.
- 17:33Speaker 10: Yeah, well, he has a really cool black and gray
- 17:37Speaker 10: ocean wave on his forearm. And then he has this
- 17:39Speaker 10: tiny tattoo of his dog on his ankle.
- 17:42Speaker 4: He's on trend.
- 17:43Speaker 1: That's not a good sign either. He's already got the
- 17:44Speaker 1: Kelvin wave tattoo. All right. So, Sierra, I've got him
- 17:50Speaker 1: on the phone right now. James wanted to apologize and
- 17:55Speaker 1: just speak his piece to you because he understands why
- 17:57Speaker 1: you blocked him. James, go ahead.
- 18:00Speaker 13: Hey. Look, I totally understand, and, like, I just want
- 18:08Speaker 13: to apologize for it. Like, the girl that popped up
- 18:11Speaker 13: was so unexpected. We only went on a date a
- 18:14Speaker 13: couple times, and the third time was very weird. It
- 18:17Speaker 13: got super clingy. She wanted to meet her parents and
- 18:20Speaker 13: was planning holidays, and she referred to me as her boyfriend.
- 18:24Speaker 13: I don't even know her middle name.
- 18:25Speaker 6: So, like, it was.
- 18:29Speaker 13: it just wasn't the ideal situation.
- 18:31Speaker 10: It just happened.
- 18:32Speaker 13: I just don't want you thinking that I'm this guy
- 18:35Speaker 13: that's like just playing, playing around. Like I, I really
- 18:39Speaker 13: do genuinely like you. And, um, and if it's completely over,
- 18:43Speaker 13: then I understand. I, I apologize that she made you uncomfortable,
- 18:47Speaker 13: but I would love to see you again. Um, yeah,
- 18:52Speaker 13: but you know, I understand.
- 18:55Speaker 10: Otherwise, Well, look, I'm honestly so flattered. I actually can't
- 19:02Speaker 10: believe that you got Ryan Seacrest involved.
- 19:05Speaker 1: Sure.
- 19:06Speaker 10: We can go out again. We can go out again. Yeah.
- 19:09Speaker 10: Maybe we can get out of the area like a
- 19:10Speaker 10: little bit.
- 19:13Speaker 13: Yeah, no, that sounds perfect. You got to unblock me though.
- 19:17Speaker 13: I'm not actually sure how to do that.
- 19:22Speaker 1: Well, we'll tell you. I've got an engineer here to
- 19:24Speaker 1: help you.
- 19:26Speaker 3: Great.
- 19:26Speaker 1: Congratulations. This is good. A step in the right direction.
- 19:29Speaker 3: Tubs cannot help them right now.
- 19:32Speaker 1: Enjoy your next date and a fresh start. Okay?
- 19:34Speaker 13: Thank you.
- 19:38Speaker 6: Thanks, Brian.
- 19:39Speaker 13: Yay!
- 19:40Speaker 2: I feel like that was very successful and great.
- 19:43Speaker 1: James.
- 19:44Speaker 7: Yes?
- 19:45Speaker 1: Where's the wave?
- 19:48Speaker 13: Ha ha ha ha ha ha! It's on my arm.
- 19:54Speaker 1: It's on my arm. Disappointing.
- 19:56Speaker 10: Bye.
- 19:57Speaker 13: This is kidding.
- 19:59Speaker 4: On air with Ryan Seacrest.
- 20:03Speaker 1: Before I pay a bill here and we get to
- 20:04Speaker 1: a trending report about Olivia Dean with Tanya, Ronnie wants
- 20:07Speaker 1: to set Michaela up. We know Michaela's single and she's
- 20:10Speaker 1: on the dating apps. I think it's a bad idea
- 20:12Speaker 1: because if she goes out with this person and it
- 20:16Speaker 1: doesn't work out, then she's got to deal with Ronnie
- 20:20Speaker 1: and the person she didn't connect with. So that means
- 20:23Speaker 1: she might go out with the guy again out of guilt, Kerry,
- 20:26Speaker 1: because Ronnie, the mutual friend, set them up. Ronnie, what
- 20:29Speaker 1: do you want to do?
- 20:30Speaker 6: Okay, so I.
- 20:33Speaker 9: We were talking about this the other day and me
- 20:35Speaker 9: and Michaela kind of hang out in similar areas and
- 20:38Speaker 9: we're pretty much the same age. And I was like,
- 20:40Speaker 9: oh my God, I have some single bachelor friends that
- 20:43Speaker 9: you could go out with. And I have two options
- 20:46Speaker 9: for her because I had to give her options. And
- 20:48Speaker 9: she was about to see them for the first time
- 20:50Speaker 9: right this second.
- 20:51Speaker 2: We have pictures.
- 20:53Speaker 6: Okay.
- 20:54Speaker 1: Bachelor number one, Paul.
- 20:55Speaker 6: Yes.
- 20:56Speaker 9: He works for LADWP. I don't really know what he does,
- 21:00Speaker 9: but that's like a nice, secure job. It's always needed.
- 21:03Speaker 2: Can we ask him why our bills are so crazy?
- 21:07Speaker 9: You know, the funny thing is they don't give him
- 21:09Speaker 9: a discount on bills. I did ask him that. So sorry,
- 21:12Speaker 9: you will not get a discount on your bills. He's
- 21:15Speaker 9: got a great smile, Michaela.
- 21:17Speaker 1: He does.
- 21:17Speaker 2: He's cute.
- 21:18Speaker 1: All right, and why do you have Paul's ex here?
- 21:21Speaker 9: Well, because this was to show, like, he's Michaela's type,
- 21:24Speaker 9: because they kind of look very similar.
- 21:25Speaker 1: No, they don't. She's brunette.
- 21:27Speaker 9: No, yeah, she's brunette, but Michaela's just like a blonde
- 21:31Speaker 9: version of her. But is that good if it didn't
- 21:32Speaker 9: work out? Well, that's up for debate. All right, number two.
- 21:38Speaker 9: And number two, his name is Nick.
- 21:41Speaker 6: Wait. Oh, Tanya's very excited.
- 21:42Speaker 4: Oh, because he looks like Robbie.
- 21:43Speaker 1: I don't want to say he looks better than Robbie,
- 21:46Speaker 1: but he.
- 21:48Speaker 1: He looks like a different generation than Robbie.
- 21:51Speaker 4: I'm going to tell him you said that.
- 21:53Speaker 1: If he saw the guy, he'd say the same thing
- 21:55Speaker 1: if he were humble.
- 21:56Speaker 6: That's true.
- 21:57Speaker 1: This is a younger version of Robbie.
- 21:59Speaker 2: He's a doctor of some sort.
- 22:02Speaker 1: So I don't. OK, I don't really know all the
- 22:04Speaker 1: details of what my friends do.
- 22:05Speaker 5: Right.
- 22:05Speaker 9: But he is a doctor and he makes like, you know,
- 22:08Speaker 9: he's not cringe like he does a little podcast, but
- 22:10Speaker 9: it's not weird.
- 22:13Speaker 2: Why is it cringe if someone does a podcast?
- 22:16Speaker 1: If it's a doctor.
- 22:17Speaker 9: You know how like some boys are like, I feel
- 22:19Speaker 9: like boys doing podcasts is a little odd, but he
- 22:23Speaker 9: is cool.
- 22:24Speaker 6: And I think you would really like him. So my
- 22:27Speaker 6: plan is for Michaela.
- 22:28Speaker 9: Well, I don't know if you want to meet them
- 22:29Speaker 9: both in the same night, but we can do two
- 22:31Speaker 9: different things and Michaela can come hang out and.
- 22:33Speaker 6: It'll be like a fun little vibe. So you can
- 22:36Speaker 6: get to see who.
- 22:36Speaker 3: You want to date.
- 22:37Speaker 1: You've turned me around on this. I actually think it's
- 22:39Speaker 1: a great idea now. I like the doctor that we
- 22:41Speaker 1: don't know what he docs.
- 22:42Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 22:43Speaker 8: He actually looks like a kid that I, a guy
- 22:46Speaker 8: I had a crush on in college.
- 22:47Speaker 1: Maybe it's serendipitous.
- 22:49Speaker 6: Okay.
- 22:50Speaker 1: We'll stay tuned. You guys work on this. Michaela's blushing.
- 22:54Speaker 1: She's excited. Wait for who went for which one?
- 22:58Speaker 8: Probably bachelor number two.
- 22:59Speaker 1: Okay.
- 23:01Speaker 6: Cute.
- 23:01Speaker 1: Although he has that podcast. Ronnie's worried about it. No
- 23:06Speaker 1: dudes with podcasts. Cringe. Coming up, $ 1, 000. Paying a bill
- 23:11Speaker 1: in the 909. Thanks for streaming on the iHeartRadio app.
- 23:13Speaker 1: If you're on the move today, Seacrest, Dearest, Cisney, Tanya,
- 23:16Speaker 1: the back room, and the trending report. Tanya says Olivia
- 23:20Speaker 1: Deen has the one key that will make us all
- 23:22Speaker 1: understand love.
- 23:23Speaker 4: Yeah, and here's the thing.
- 23:25Speaker 3: So the word in and of itself is something that
- 23:28Speaker 3: everybody uses.
- 23:30Speaker 7: Love?
- 23:30Speaker 4: It is, no, the one key to making love work.
- 23:33Speaker 6: Oh, I know what it is.
- 23:33Speaker 1: It's the C word.
- 23:34Speaker 5: Yeah. Communication.
- 23:35Speaker 4: Oh, I thought you were going to say commitment. Yes,
- 23:37Speaker 4: it is communication.
- 23:38Speaker 3: However, however, the way she explains it is like, you
- 23:42Speaker 3: need to say every single thought that you have out
- 23:44Speaker 3: loud to your partner, every intrusive thought here.
- 23:46Speaker 4: Can you play it?
- 23:49Speaker 1: Why are you pointing at me? Here she is right now. Okay.
- 23:53Speaker 6: There you go.
- 23:54Speaker 15: When you love someone or in a loving relationship with someone,
- 23:57Speaker 15: I think you have to get all the things you're
- 23:59Speaker 15: thinking in your head.
- 24:00Speaker 4: Or your anxious thoughts.
- 24:01Speaker 15: You kind of sometimes just have to say them out loud.
- 24:04Speaker 15: Because if you keep them to yourself, the feelings get
- 24:06Speaker 15: trapped and they have nowhere to go. And then you
- 24:08Speaker 15: create a narrative in your head that's probably not real
- 24:10Speaker 15: or not that deep. So I think communicate, but actually
- 24:15Speaker 15: just say all your things. And actually that will bring
- 24:17Speaker 15: you closer because then they'll love your weird bits too.
- 24:20Speaker 1: You have to feel safe with the person to be
- 24:22Speaker 1: able to do that.
- 24:23Speaker 3: Yeah, but like what she was saying was if you,
- 24:25Speaker 3: sometimes when you're early on dating somebody, you have these
- 24:28Speaker 3: intrusive thoughts.
- 24:29Speaker 4: Like what if they're dating somebody else?
- 24:30Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 24:32Speaker 3: And you create this narrative in your head that's most
- 24:35Speaker 3: of the time not true. And that can really backfire and, like,
- 24:38Speaker 3: hurt you.
- 24:38Speaker 1: As a couple. Well, they can calcify.
- 24:40Speaker 4: Yes.
- 24:40Speaker 5: And you're not giving yourself completely to the relationship because
- 24:43Speaker 5: you're all in your head.
- 24:44Speaker 3: So she's saying just say everything, just every little thing,
- 24:48Speaker 3: and it's going to make you stronger as a couple.
- 24:50Speaker 4: And I was like, I like that.
- 24:51Speaker 12: I agree.
- 24:52Speaker 1: I think there are degrees of this. You don't want
- 24:55Speaker 1: to emotionally flood everything.
- 24:57Speaker 10: Yes, you do.
- 24:58Speaker 2: I'm an emotional flutter.
- 24:59Speaker 4: I don't know if you want to emotionally flood right
- 25:01Speaker 4: out of the gate.
- 25:02Speaker 5: I said I love you to Michael after our first
- 25:04Speaker 5: date because I was drunk.
- 25:05Speaker 1: But that was high risk.
- 25:06Speaker 4: That is very high risk.
- 25:08Speaker 1: I'm telling you. That doesn't work out usually. Well, here
- 25:11Speaker 1: we are. I think it's good, but I think maybe
- 25:15Speaker 1: you dose it and don't flood it.
- 25:18Speaker 3: So maybe you haven't flooded in the past, but maybe
- 25:20Speaker 3: it's time to flood. The part that's still unwritten needs
- 25:22Speaker 3: to be flooded because you haven't.
- 25:24Speaker 4: Flooded in the past.
- 25:25Speaker 2: Yeah, you need to open up a little bit more probably.
- 25:26Speaker 7: Yes.
- 25:27Speaker 1: I would scare everyone away.
- 25:28Speaker 9: Fast.
- 25:29Speaker 1: All right. Disneyland tickets are next. It's Kiss. It's Kiss FM.
- 25:34Speaker 1: How long is the ride for Disneyland tickets?
- 25:37Speaker 6: How long is the ride?
- 25:41Speaker 1: There you go. Nancy's on the line here in L.A. Nancy,
- 25:44Speaker 1: good morning.
- 25:44Speaker 13: Hi, good morning.
- 25:46Speaker 1: How are you, Ryan? Oh, it's time to get up
- 25:49Speaker 1: and do something today, like win the Disneyland tickets.
- 25:52Speaker 6: I'm great.
- 25:52Speaker 1: Thank you. Are you ready?
- 25:54Speaker 5: Yes, I am.
- 25:55Speaker 10: Thank you.
- 25:56Speaker 1: So here's the deal. It's a four pack to Disneyland.
- 25:58Speaker 1: We'll give you a Disneyland attraction. You tell us if
- 26:00Speaker 1: the ride itself is longer or shorter than seven minutes. Okay.
- 26:04Speaker 1: You got to get three right before we get three wrong.
- 26:05Speaker 6: Are you ready?
- 26:06Speaker 8: Okay. I am.
- 26:07Speaker 1: Thank you. It's a small world longer or shorter than
- 26:11Speaker 1: seven minutes.
- 26:13Speaker 8: Longer.
- 26:14Speaker 1: That's right. Sometimes I wish it were seven.
- 26:19Speaker 2: It's the best when it's a super hot day.
- 26:21Speaker 4: Oh my gosh.
- 26:22Speaker 2: You go in there, AC, 14 minutes.
- 26:24Speaker 1: I'm impatient. Move it along.
- 26:27Speaker 2: You're like bumping the boat in front of you.
- 26:28Speaker 1: I always bump the boat in front of me. All right.
- 26:31Speaker 1: Number two. The Matterhorn. Is that longer or shorter than
- 26:35Speaker 1: seven minutes?
- 26:37Speaker 10: Longer.
- 26:39Speaker 1: No, it's short.
- 26:41Speaker 2: Okay.
- 26:42Speaker 10: All right.
- 26:44Speaker 6: Okay.
- 26:45Speaker 1: So next one. Jungle Cruise, longer or shorter than seven minutes?
- 26:54Speaker 10: I'm saying longer.
- 26:55Speaker 1: It is by one minute.
- 26:58Speaker 10: All right.
- 26:58Speaker 1: You're doing great.
- 27:00Speaker 7: Thank you.
- 27:01Speaker 4: One more, Nancy.
- 27:01Speaker 1: You're doing great.
- 27:02Speaker 8: Okay.
- 27:03Speaker 1: Millennium Falcon Smuggler's Run, longer or shorter than seven minutes?
- 27:10Speaker 10: Please let it be longer.
- 27:11Speaker 13: Oh, shorter?
- 27:15Speaker 4: I don't know if I've ever ridden that ride.
- 27:17Speaker 1: It's shorter. It's five minutes.
- 27:20Speaker 5: Okay, okay.
- 27:21Speaker 1: Okay, now you got this one.
- 27:23Speaker 6: One more?
- 27:23Speaker 1: Oh, you got this one.
- 27:24Speaker 6: Okay.
- 27:24Speaker 8: Okay.
- 27:26Speaker 1: For the win, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. Longer or shorter
- 27:29Speaker 1: than seven minutes?
- 27:31Speaker 10: Okay, definitely shorter. Definitely.
- 27:33Speaker 1: Yes, you got it. You got it.
- 27:34Speaker 2: That's it.
- 27:36Speaker 1: I heard shorter. Congratulations. You got four tickets to Disneyland.
- 27:40Speaker 6: Thank you.
- 27:40Speaker 1: Enjoy a very short two-minute Mr. Toad's Wild Ride.
- 27:43Speaker 13: Two minutes.
- 27:44Speaker 4: Thank you.
- 27:45Speaker 10: Nancy, have a great day.
- 27:46Speaker 1: Thank you so much. Appreciate you. It's a pleasure speaking
- 27:50Speaker 1: to you guys. Thank you.
- 27:51Speaker 7: And you.
- 27:59Speaker 1: Leon Thomas and Mutt's Kiss. Lizette is on the phone
- 28:02Speaker 1: in Eagle Rock.
- 28:03Speaker 7: 800-520-1027.
- 28:03Speaker 1: Hi, Lizette.
- 28:04Speaker 10: Hi.
- 28:04Speaker 1: How are you guys?
- 28:07Speaker 10: Good morning.
- 28:09Speaker 6: You're great.
- 28:10Speaker 14: Good morning.
- 28:10Speaker 1: Thanks for joining us.
- 28:12Speaker 10: Thank you for having me.
- 28:13Speaker 2: All right.
- 28:14Speaker 1: So you're not a fan of Halloween, but all your
- 28:16Speaker 1: neighbors are really going all out, and they're pressuring you
- 28:20Speaker 1: to decorate?
- 28:22Speaker 10: Yes. And just to tell you, we just moved into
- 28:25Speaker 10: this neighborhood, so... we were told by a few neighbors
- 28:31Speaker 10: that this is just what we do around here.
- 28:32Speaker 14: We just super decorate. And so currently they go all out.
- 28:36Speaker 14: And yes, you're right. I'm not a fan of Halloween
- 28:39Speaker 14: and I've never really done.
- 28:40Speaker 10: This whole decoration thing. And so now I feel.
- 28:43Speaker 14: Really terrible that if all the houses around us are
- 28:45Speaker 14: going to be like fully decorated, all decked out and
- 28:48Speaker 14: ours are just going to be like, dark you know
- 28:50Speaker 14: like there's nothing and I don't know what to do
- 28:54Speaker 14: like do I suck it up.
- 28:55Speaker 13: And spend the money just to fit in like.
- 28:59Speaker 14: I don't know I mean it feels like kind of
- 29:00Speaker 14: ridiculous to me to have to decorate my own house
- 29:02Speaker 14: just because like all my neighbors do I know.
- 29:05Speaker 1: It's like do we care that much about how they
- 29:07Speaker 1: think of us and do we care what they think
- 29:10Speaker 1: we do yeah they are your neighbors and it's good
- 29:12Speaker 1: to stay like on their good side but can you
- 29:15Speaker 1: do like a half effort.
- 29:17Speaker 5: Yeah like hang a few hanging ghosts from the trees
- 29:20Speaker 5: and put some orange lights up and.
- 29:21Speaker 1: Put a pumpkin outside no carbon at the store.
- 29:24Speaker 4: I mean that's how you do that all the.
- 29:26Speaker 5: Time i can't put the pumpkins out because the squirrels
- 29:29Speaker 5: eat the pumpkins.
- 29:30Speaker 1: Well how they eat pumpkins if the pumpkin is hard
- 29:32Speaker 1: they bite through it well put get a bigger pumpkin
- 29:37Speaker 1: or get a couple it.
- 29:37Speaker 10: Sounds like a compromise i guess i mean i'm so annoying.
- 29:41Speaker 10: What was that?
- 29:44Speaker 1: This should not annoy you. There are a lot of
- 29:45Speaker 1: things that are going to annoy you about your neighbors.
- 29:47Speaker 1: This should not be on the list.
- 29:48Speaker 5: Yeah, this is actually really sweet. I live on a
- 29:50Speaker 5: street where everybody decorates their house. I mean, they go
- 29:53Speaker 5: all out. Fog machines, you name it. They'll put a
- 29:56Speaker 5: whole scene in the front yard.
- 29:58Speaker 6: Okay, that would.
- 29:59Speaker 5: This one house had like a Jurassic Park Jeep with like,
- 30:03Speaker 5: the person was all bloody and it was crazy.
- 30:05Speaker 2: So you don't have to go that far.
- 30:06Speaker 8: Out, but like.
- 30:07Speaker 1: But don't be the one that doesn't do anything because
- 30:09Speaker 1: that's weird too.
- 30:10Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 30:12Speaker 6: Okay. Yeah.
- 30:14Speaker 1: I remember there was one family in our hometown growing
- 30:16Speaker 1: up on the street and I was scared of them
- 30:19Speaker 1: as a kid forever because they never, ever had their
- 30:21Speaker 1: lights on for Halloween. And I was always scared to
- 30:23Speaker 1: see them at the tennis courts.
- 30:24Speaker 7: I know what you mean.
- 30:25Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 30:26Speaker 14: We don't want to be this hairy house.
- 30:27Speaker 6: That's the people.
- 30:28Speaker 1: They have the green door and no lights.
- 30:30Speaker 6: The green door.
- 30:31Speaker 1: All right, Lizette, good luck with the pumpkin. Easy fix.
- 30:34Speaker 1: Kiss FM. They're all hanging inside the iHeartRadio app. I
- 30:37Speaker 1: want to peel some off. You can hit that red
- 30:40Speaker 1: microphone and leave us a voice note right into the studio.
- 30:42Speaker 1: It's very cool. Michelle, Hacienda Heights, heard the caller talking
- 30:45Speaker 1: about her parents tracking her location at college.
- 30:48Speaker 7: It's so funny listening to your conversation regarding... The hovering parent, well,
- 30:54Speaker 7: I'm 48, but my dad, oh my God, he is
- 30:58Speaker 7: still tracking his children. He is tracking me and my siblings, which,
- 31:03Speaker 7: you know, we just let him be. I think it's
- 31:05Speaker 7: a parent thing, you know.
- 31:07Speaker 1: But I think at that age, it's sweet.
- 31:09Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 31:09Speaker 1: I mean, it's kind of sweet now.
- 31:10Speaker 2: My dad has my location.
- 31:11Speaker 1: Yeah, it's sweet now. Maybe annoying at 16, but sweet
- 31:15Speaker 1: at 48.
- 31:15Speaker 4: Yeah, it takes a turn.
- 31:16Speaker 1: Thanks for listening. Wendy's in Almonte has issues with Ronnie. Ronnie! Uh-oh.
- 31:20Speaker 2: Wow, Ronnie.
- 31:21Speaker 6: Really? With me?
- 31:22Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 31:23Speaker 7: Hello, Ryan.
- 31:24Speaker 11: Thank you for endorsing Michaela.
- 31:26Speaker 5: But that Ronnie guy from yesterday, he's a hot mess.
- 31:30Speaker 2: He woke up late.
- 31:31Speaker 10: He needs his mom to wake him up as his
- 31:33Speaker 10: alarm clock.
- 31:34Speaker 1: And then he doesn't even know how.
- 31:36Speaker 13: To get a gift card.
- 31:38Speaker 2: What rock did he pull out from under?
- 31:42Speaker 1: Wow, that was just bad.
- 31:43Speaker 2: That was harsh.
- 31:44Speaker 1: Shout out to the team, Ronnie.
- 31:47Speaker 9: An honor to defend myself. Yeah, I'm not a morning person.
- 31:50Speaker 9: So my mom lives on the opposite coast. So I
- 31:52Speaker 9: call her to tell her to wake me up because
- 31:55Speaker 9: that's the responsible thing to do if I can't wake
- 31:56Speaker 9: up myself.
- 31:57Speaker 1: What about your alarms?
- 31:58Speaker 9: Well, sometimes I hear it, sometimes I don't. And sometimes
- 32:01Speaker 9: I'm just like, oh, I want to keep sleeping. So
- 32:02Speaker 9: my mom, if she calls me and I start talking,
- 32:05Speaker 9: I'll get up. So it's our fault for making him
- 32:07Speaker 9: work in the morning.
- 32:07Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 32:08Speaker 9: And then the gift card thing, to defend myself on that. Listen,
- 32:12Speaker 9: I know how to buy a gift card, but you
- 32:14Speaker 9: can't buy a gift card with another card.
- 32:16Speaker 6: So I was like, oh.
- 32:17Speaker 4: With another gift card.
- 32:18Speaker 6: Another gift card.
- 32:18Speaker 1: Because we have gift cards we give away when we
- 32:21Speaker 1: do the free gas. But I did give the girl
- 32:23Speaker 1: a gift card that time, so. Well, Wendy, he wants
- 32:26Speaker 1: to be your friend. So let's just stick with us.
- 32:28Speaker 6: And I'm actually like a really clean person. Not a mess.
- 32:35Speaker 1: And what a lovely message from Robin in Lakewood. Here
- 32:37Speaker 1: she is.
- 32:38Speaker 11: I just want to thank you for everything that you've
- 32:40Speaker 11: done for so many people. You bring so much happiness
- 32:43Speaker 11: and joy every morning. And I really appreciate it. Thank
- 32:48Speaker 11: you so, so, so, so much. We all love you.
- 32:52Speaker 1: And sorry, I meant to say that was just for Ronnie.
- 32:54Speaker 4: Yes.
- 32:55Speaker 1: That's going to do it for us this morning. Tomorrow,
- 32:58Speaker 1: coming up here on Kiss FM, got passes to Disneyland
- 33:00Speaker 1: again all morning. We're paying your bills. Also, late summer
- 33:05Speaker 1: and fall are peak fruit fly season here in California.
- 33:10Speaker 1: Really easy way to keep the fruit flies away. We'll
- 33:12Speaker 1: tell you that first thing in the morning. If you
- 33:13Speaker 1: missed anything, it's up on our podcast on air with
- 33:15Speaker 1: Ryan Seacrest. Midday, Sisney takes you for another hour. Thanks
- 33:19Speaker 1: for listening to On Air with Ryan Seacrest. Make sure
- 33:22Speaker 1: to subscribe, and we'll talk to you again tomorrow.
