A devastating fire at “The Pub” in Cass County on April 27, 2025, has led to arrests of two suspects: Kory Alvin Wagner, 52, and Heather Pero, 36. Both were found at the scene around 4 AM and now face serious arson charges after investigators determined the blaze was intentionally set—not an accident. Wagner, who bought the bar in 2023 but listed it for sale last fall, is also charged with attempted insurance fraud.
