- 0:01Speaker 1: I consistently set the standard of excellence on everything. I
- 0:05Speaker 1: supported a colleague's growth by sharing feedback and mentoring them,
- 0:09Speaker 1: informally contributing to our value of continuous learning and developmental
- 0:14Speaker 1: You are a hero.
- 0:17Speaker 2: All right. So Joe Coy is.
- 0:19Speaker 3: Here, Yes, me and Joe Coy. You can check him
- 0:23Speaker 3: out on social media. His motto is to have a
- 0:25Speaker 3: good time all the time. Of course, it's like always
- 0:29Speaker 3: out doing stuff. His son is always with him.
- 0:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 0:33Speaker 4: Was your.
- 0:35Speaker 5: Son's mother with the most gorgeous, insane hair I've ever
- 0:39Speaker 5: seen on the planet.
- 0:39Speaker 4: There always like down down to the floor.
- 0:42Speaker 2: Yeah, the floor relationship.
- 0:45Speaker 5: Yeah, never seen anything like that in my life.
- 0:48Speaker 3: Talking about family stuff, one of the things that Joe
- 0:51Speaker 3: and I bonded over, like immediately after we met was
- 0:54Speaker 3: like it was like just this fatherhood, this parent stuff, right,
- 0:58Speaker 3: Joe's son and you know, my on my kids and
- 1:01Speaker 3: all that kind of I have a question for you, Joe.
- 1:03Speaker 3: I want to bring up something because Gina came in
- 1:05Speaker 3: and I don't want to say you were complaining, but
- 1:07Speaker 3: you were you.
- 1:07Speaker 4: Were kind of catching Okay about what.
- 1:11Speaker 6: About the game that you were playing?
- 1:13Speaker 3: Okay, before I say what, I'm going to say, yeah,
- 1:17Speaker 3: I want to see what Joe says.
- 1:19Speaker 4: Okay, you're probably going to say it weird, but okay.
- 1:21Speaker 6: No you say it.
- 1:22Speaker 7: Oh, okay, okay, I want to see Joe's reaction.
- 1:24Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:25Speaker 5: So he when he was asking me if I watched
- 1:27Speaker 5: this video that I was going to watch, and I
- 1:28Speaker 5: said no because I got distracted because I was scrolling
- 1:31Speaker 5: on my phone and I was just sitting there doing nothing.
- 1:34Speaker 5: And my kid asked me, well, can you stop scrolling
- 1:37Speaker 5: on your phone and play play a game with me?
- 1:39Speaker 5: Play candy Land. I was like, okay, So we ended
- 1:42Speaker 5: up playing nineteen games of candy Land nineteen Yeah. And
- 1:46Speaker 5: then what he said, you don't know how to say no?
- 1:48Speaker 5: And I said, it's not that. It's that when you're
- 1:51Speaker 5: caught scrolling on your phone by a kid who's just
- 1:53Speaker 5: staring at you, you gotta go do something else.
- 1:56Speaker 6: Nineteen.
- 1:58Speaker 8: Well, the issue was the verbidge You said I had
- 2:02Speaker 8: to play.
- 2:02Speaker 4: I had to play?
- 2:04Speaker 6: Yeah, as if the kid is in charge.
- 2:07Speaker 4: Because we were locked in at that point.
- 2:08Speaker 2: You know what, I will agree with, Gina, Thank you?
- 2:11Speaker 2: Really I would play in ninety five games?
- 2:13Speaker 6: Would you really?
- 2:15Speaker 4: Especially like can you?
- 2:16Speaker 2: I'll tell you this right, can you play with I'm
- 2:19Speaker 2: going to tell you guys one quick story. This is
- 2:23Speaker 2: why I stopped. Can I say, yeah, okay, this is
- 2:27Speaker 2: why I stopped. This is why I stopped doing it. Right,
- 2:29Speaker 2: stop doing the funny cigarette, right I I I you know, right,
- 2:37Speaker 2: I I smoked. At one time, I got a massage, right,
- 2:41Speaker 2: nice messuse came massage my shoulder, and literally I was
- 2:48Speaker 2: so high that I started I started going way back
- 2:53Speaker 2: to when my son was like five, right, and it
- 2:56Speaker 2: was a birthday that I wasn't act and I was
- 3:01Speaker 2: on the road, and and and it just this little
- 3:04Speaker 2: voice that's in your head when you're when you're that,
- 3:06Speaker 2: it just goes, wow, man, you missed his fifth birth
- 3:09Speaker 2: You missed his birthday. Like that's never coming back. And
- 3:11Speaker 2: then I started getting emotional and I started crying on
- 3:14Speaker 2: the massage table, and I literally cried for eight hours
- 3:19Speaker 2: because it's a moment that I'll never get back. I'll
- 3:22Speaker 2: never get that fifth birthday back.
- 3:23Speaker 3: So it's kind of the ninety five times you would
- 3:26Speaker 3: play can be rooted in some kind of guilt or trauma.
- 3:29Speaker 2: Because I think we're so we're so like the old
- 3:33Speaker 2: school parents, like the whatever they whatever, they call them
- 3:36Speaker 2: the boomers, whatever they were, they were just so trained
- 3:39Speaker 2: to be like, grow up already, bye bah bah, you
- 3:42Speaker 2: know you ain't got time for that. And it's like, no, man,
- 3:45Speaker 2: we do got time for that. We only get one
- 3:48Speaker 2: fifth birthday and we only get we only get today today.
- 3:52Speaker 2: This is it. I want, I guarantee tomorrow, but you
- 3:54Speaker 2: you got today. You woke up, So enjoy today. If
- 3:57Speaker 2: it's ninety five games, play ninety five games. If he
- 4:00Speaker 2: wants the Nuggets, get the Nuggets. I'm just saying, man,
- 4:03Speaker 2: like that whole mentality, I just I don't agree with it.
- 4:06Speaker 2: And all I can think about is taking my son
- 4:08Speaker 2: out and seeing the world.
- 4:10Speaker 4: You every day.
- 4:10Speaker 3: Yeah, let's say, let's say you hadn't missed that fifth birthday. Yeah,
- 4:15Speaker 3: still playing ninety five rounds of candy.
- 4:16Speaker 2: Way you know why because I didn't have I didn't
- 4:20Speaker 2: have any of that structure at the house.
- 4:21Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 4:22Speaker 2: That was just me reaching And I think that's why
- 4:24Speaker 2: it fell so hard for comedy. Like I knew I
- 4:26Speaker 2: was funny, but I think my babysitter was stand up
- 4:30Speaker 2: Like I can. I can tell you how many comedians
- 4:32Speaker 2: I would watch, And this is before cable, so I
- 4:35Speaker 2: was renting you know, George Carlin and of course Eddie
- 4:38Speaker 2: Murphy and Richard pryor you know albums like like that.
- 4:42Speaker 2: That was my my, my babysitter.
- 4:45Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 4:45Speaker 2: I couldn't wait to wake up a press play, you
- 4:47Speaker 2: know what I mean, or go home and watch uh,
- 4:50Speaker 2: you know bootleg videos that I would download from you know,
- 4:53Speaker 2: not download. It wasn't even download, it was pressing record
- 4:56Speaker 2: on your VCR.
- 4:58Speaker 6: You guys are both better to me then the.
- 5:02Speaker 5: Mirror that's held up to you when a kid's like
- 5:04Speaker 5: are you working or are you just scrolling on your phone?
- 5:07Speaker 4: Okay.
- 5:08Speaker 2: We had this conversation though before, Wouldie and I've said
- 5:11Speaker 2: this to you before a long time ago about this
- 5:14Speaker 2: the same yeah, conversation, We've had this before, and you
- 5:17Speaker 2: keep falling back onto this one. Yeah. And then we
- 5:19Speaker 2: get off the air and he's like, you know what,
- 5:21Speaker 2: I'm gonna try and.
- 5:25Speaker 8: Stuff.
- 5:26Speaker 3: I'll do stuff, but it's not nineteen rounds of candy
- 5:30Speaker 3: Land like it was a speeder, Like I really believe,
- 5:34Speaker 3: I don't know, and maybe this is from my childhood,
- 5:37Speaker 3: and I really feel like it's important to have develop
- 5:41Speaker 3: a sense of independence, right like where you're not completely
- 5:44Speaker 3: dependent on well for sure, to entertain yourself all the time.
- 5:48Speaker 3: Like it's not on the parent to constantly have things
- 5:52Speaker 3: set up for you and people for you to play right. So, yes, interacting,
- 5:57Speaker 3: I have lots of conversations. Just had a really deep
- 6:00Speaker 3: conversation with my son.
- 6:01Speaker 2: Yet thought he enjoyed that and.
- 6:05Speaker 6: Everything else.
- 6:06Speaker 5: I was, well, And that's two of my favorite words
- 6:09Speaker 5: to say to the kid is be bored, like I'm good.
- 6:12Speaker 4: Be bored like there's plenty of summary.
- 6:14Speaker 3: Have you ever said that she's stressed up in costumes?
- 6:18Speaker 2: There?
- 6:18Speaker 7: Yes, candy Land.
- 6:20Speaker 4: This isn't every day. I know.
- 6:23Speaker 2: This kid goes to this.
- 6:24Speaker 6: Kid goes to his friends, goes guys watch this or
- 6:26Speaker 6: do anything.
- 6:27Speaker 4: I do say that a lot. I do say go
- 6:29Speaker 4: be bored. But anyone he's.
- 6:31Speaker 5: Like, oh, are you just I guess are You're just
- 6:33Speaker 5: on their phone? Get the candy Land, just go get it.
- 6:35Speaker 2: But I don't know.
- 6:36Speaker 9: I think you guys are talking to extremes. You're talking
- 6:39Speaker 9: there's there can be a balance. It can't just like,
- 6:42Speaker 9: of course constant brutality.
- 6:44Speaker 4: I think I'm in the center. Joe was like, I'll
- 6:48Speaker 4: never miss a birthday again as long as they.
- 6:49Speaker 3: Live and that's exactly what I'm saying, menace. There's there's
- 6:52Speaker 3: the yes, you play the candy land. I don't know
- 6:54Speaker 3: if you played nineteen rounds.
- 6:55Speaker 4: Well, I think they were.
- 6:57Speaker 2: I think what it is is I make you. I
- 7:00Speaker 2: came from like a really dysfunctional family. So it's like
- 7:04Speaker 2: there was divorce early. You know, I was like nine
- 7:06Speaker 2: or whatever when that happened, and and I felt it
- 7:10Speaker 2: like I felt not having the dad there because he
- 7:12Speaker 2: moved to another state. You know, I felt my mom,
- 7:15Speaker 2: she she worked a lot, so I didn't see her
- 7:17Speaker 2: a lot, you know what I mean. And I've had
- 7:20Speaker 2: missed birthdays by my dad, you know where it was
- 7:22Speaker 2: a phone call the day after, you know. You know
- 7:26Speaker 2: I've had those. And I remember when Angie and I
- 7:29Speaker 2: got the divorce. I was like, I never want that
- 7:33Speaker 2: my son to feel that like we're divorced. But he's
- 7:36Speaker 2: not going to feel that. He's going to feel like
- 7:38Speaker 2: he's got the strongest parents.
- 7:40Speaker 4: Well, you've gone over and above in that situation.
- 7:43Speaker 2: Her house is right next to my house.
- 7:44Speaker 4: That's what I'm saying.
- 7:46Speaker 2: She's in my living room right now. I'm not even
- 7:49Speaker 2: making this up. She's in my living room because she's
- 7:51Speaker 2: having you know her her her bathroom was being redone,
- 7:54Speaker 2: so she's in my living room. She was there when
- 7:55Speaker 2: I woke up. I woke up and she's lying on
- 7:57Speaker 2: the couch the keys.
- 8:00Speaker 3: Does that Does that make like having your own personal
- 8:03Speaker 3: relationships difficult because of that relationship, because some people get
- 8:07Speaker 3: really crazy because you can't even have somebody on Facebook.
- 8:11Speaker 6: Now, I'll break up.
- 8:12Speaker 2: With you, I'll stop talking to you if there's a
- 8:14Speaker 2: problem with her. Like literally, I was just like, wait,
- 8:17Speaker 2: what I've done that so many times? Oh my god,
- 8:19Speaker 2: she's around.
- 8:20Speaker 10: Yeah, I don't know if you know, she created a
- 8:23Speaker 10: human you can't even get me catch.
- 8:25Speaker 4: Up because family, she's not romantically.
- 8:29Speaker 2: And I don't understand that whole thing. I think that's
- 8:31Speaker 2: another thing that was programmed in the human beings, like, oh,
- 8:34Speaker 2: you got a divorce, you gotta hate her for life.
- 8:36Speaker 6: You're gonna make her life miserable.
- 8:37Speaker 2: It's like the only person that suffers is the kids.
- 8:40Speaker 2: What are you doing? One that wins is the lawyers?
- 8:42Speaker 2: What are you doing? Grow up? Bro? Well up?
- 8:45Speaker 6: I agree, like I don't, I don't. I don't hate
- 8:46Speaker 6: my first wife.
- 8:47Speaker 8: Yeah exactly. At one point, you got married to that.
- 8:50Speaker 2: Yeah, there's something there.
- 8:52Speaker 6: Can work out.
- 8:53Speaker 3: And you know, when there's separate ways, I don't know
- 8:55Speaker 3: if I want her live in my house, you know
- 8:57Speaker 3: what I mean? There we go, menis there is the
- 8:59Speaker 3: happy medium, like I can I can refer to I
- 9:04Speaker 3: still need to live in next door.
- 9:05Speaker 9: Yeah, but like you know, continued anger that people hold
- 9:08Speaker 9: on to for like.
- 9:12Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah right.
- 9:15Speaker 1: I consistently set the standard of excellence on everything. I
- 9:19Speaker 1: supported a colleague's growth by sharing feedback and mentoring them
- 9:23Speaker 1: informally contributing to our value.

- 9:54Speaker 4: There always like down down.
- 9:56Speaker 2: To the floor to the floor relationship.
- 10:00Speaker 4: Ye never seen anything like that in my life.

- 10:36Speaker 7: Oh okay, Okay, I want to see Joe's reaction.
- 10:38Speaker 4: Okay.
- 10:39Speaker 5: So he when he was asking me if I watched

- 15:32Speaker 6: Yes, candy Land.
- 15:34Speaker 4: This isn't every day I know.
- 15:37Speaker 2: This kid goes to this.
- 15:38Speaker 6: Kid goes to his friends and goes, guys, watch this

- 15:46Speaker 4: I guess you're just on their phone. Get the candy Land.
- 15:49Speaker 6: Just go get it.
- 15:50Speaker 2: But I don't know.
- 15:50Speaker 9: I think you guys are talking to extremes. You're talking
- 15:53Speaker 9: there's there can be a balance. It can't just like
- 15:56Speaker 9: of course constant brutality.
- 15:58Speaker 4: I think I'm in the center.
- 16:01Speaker 5: Joe's like, I'll never miss a birthday again as long
- 16:03Speaker 5: as they live.
- 16:04Speaker 3: And that's exactly what I'm saying in Menace. There's there's yes,
- 16:07Speaker 3: you play the candy Land. I don't know if you
- 16:08Speaker 3: played nineteen rounds.
- 16:09Speaker 4: Well they were.
- 16:11Speaker 2: I think what it is is I make you. I
- 16:14Speaker 2: came from like a really dysfunctional family. So it's like
- 16:18Speaker 2: there was divorce early. You know, I was like nine
- 16:20Speaker 2: or whatever when that happened, and uh and I felt
- 16:24Speaker 2: it like I felt not having the dad there because
- 16:26Speaker 2: he moved to another state. You know. I felt my mom.
- 16:29Speaker 2: She she worked a lot, so I didn't see her
- 16:31Speaker 2: a lot, you know what I mean. And I've had
- 16:34Speaker 2: missed birthdays by my dad, you know where it was
- 16:36Speaker 2: a phone call the day after, you know, you know,
- 16:40Speaker 2: I've had those. And I remember when Angie and I
- 16:43Speaker 2: got the divorce. I was like, I never want that
- 16:47Speaker 2: my son to feel that, Like we're divorced, but he's
- 16:50Speaker 2: not going to feel that. He's going to feel like
- 16:52Speaker 2: he's got the strongest parents.
- 16:54Speaker 4: Well, you've gone over and above in that situation.
- 16:57Speaker 2: Her house is right next to my house.
- 16:59Speaker 4: That's what I'm saying.
- 17:00Speaker 2: She's in my living room right now. I'm not even
- 17:03Speaker 2: making this up. She's in my living room because she's
- 17:05Speaker 2: having you know her her her bathroom is being redone,
- 17:08Speaker 2: so she's in my living room. She was there when
- 17:10Speaker 2: I woke up. I woke up and she's lying on
- 17:11Speaker 2: the couch.
- 17:12Speaker 3: The keys ask you, does that does that make like
- 17:16Speaker 3: having your own personal relationships difficult?
- 17:18Speaker 6: No, because of that relationship.
- 17:20Speaker 3: At all, because some people get really crazy because you
- 17:23Speaker 3: can't even have somebody on Facebook.
- 17:25Speaker 9: Now, I'll break up with you, I'll stop talking to
- 17:28Speaker 9: you if there's a problem with her.
- 17:30Speaker 2: Like literally, I was just like, wait, what I've done
- 17:32Speaker 2: that so many times? Oh my god, she's around.
- 17:34Speaker 10: Yeah, I don't know if you know, she created a human.
- 17:38Speaker 10: You can't even get me catch up.
- 17:40Speaker 4: Because family, she's not romantically.
- 17:44Speaker 2: And I don't understand that whole thing. I think that's
- 17:46Speaker 2: another thing that was programmed in the human beings, like oh,
- 17:48Speaker 2: you got a divorce. You gotta hate her for life.
- 17:50Speaker 2: You're gonna make her life miserable. It's like the only
- 17:52Speaker 2: person that suffers is the kids. What are you doing?
- 17:55Speaker 2: One that wins is the lawyers? What are you doing?
- 17:57Speaker 2: Grow up?
- 17:58Speaker 6: Brow up? I agree, like I don't, I don't. I
- 18:00Speaker 6: don't hate my first wife.
- 18:01Speaker 8: Yeah, exactly at one point you got married to that.
- 18:04Speaker 2: Yeah, there's something there you can.
- 18:06Speaker 3: Work out, and you know when there's separate ways, I
- 18:09Speaker 3: don't know if I want to live in my house,
- 18:11Speaker 3: you know what I mean? Like I think there we
- 18:12Speaker 3: go ministers the happy Medium, like I can, I can
- 18:16Speaker 3: refer to you. I still need to live in next door.
- 18:20Speaker 9: Yeah, but like you know, they continued anger that people
- 18:22Speaker 9: hold on to for like yeah, that makes it yeah right, Hey.
- 18:29Speaker 4: What do you call a big jack lantern? What a plumpkin?
- 18:34Speaker 6: Be way?
- 18:35Speaker 4: A millennial? In instagrams?
- 18:40Speaker 6: Couldn't the lizard get a girlfriend?
- 18:43Speaker 8: Atile Dysfunction.
- 18:47Speaker 3: Show? You might wonder how did we get those clips
- 18:50Speaker 3: from the Joe Coy and Gabriel Glacier to show that.
- 18:53Speaker 6: We just heard some of the jokes he heard on stage.
- 18:56Speaker 8: People wanted to hear it.
- 18:57Speaker 6: Really good stuff, that's really good. Yeah, there we go.
- 19:01Speaker 6: Can you hear it? There we go?
- 19:02Speaker 8: There we go?
- 19:03Speaker 6: Uh, Joe Coy is here? Everybody?
- 19:07Speaker 3: Question for Joe Coy, what were you feeling when you
- 19:09Speaker 3: walked out onto that stage, sold out the crowd at
- 19:13Speaker 3: so far knowing you and Gabe did that?
- 19:15Speaker 2: What the crazy part through the little eye holes of
- 19:18Speaker 2: the masks.
- 19:19Speaker 3: Yeah, like once once the mask came off and you're
- 19:22Speaker 3: for the first time standing, people realize that you you're
- 19:24Speaker 3: standing there. Ie, I'm always interested the inner dialogue. I
- 19:29Speaker 3: have this thought every time there's like a like a
- 19:32Speaker 3: like a presidential election, right, and somebody for the first time,
- 19:35Speaker 3: not a reelection because they've already been the president, but
- 19:38Speaker 3: on a person who's not been present before that night
- 19:42Speaker 3: where they've been declared the winner, and after all the
- 19:45Speaker 3: balloons and the parties and the but and you're laying
- 19:48Speaker 3: there in bed and you have that ringing in your
- 19:50Speaker 3: ears because of all the stuff and everything going on,
- 19:53Speaker 3: and you're in the dark, and you have that thought
- 19:56Speaker 3: to yourself. Nobody else is around, and it's just, dude,
- 20:00Speaker 3: I'm the president of the United States. Like that's got
- 20:03Speaker 3: to be such a crazy realization or a feeling like
- 20:06Speaker 3: I just won the presidential election.
- 20:10Speaker 7: So for what you do. This is the largest comedy show.
- 20:13Speaker 6: Ever, right, ever?
- 20:15Speaker 7: Seventy thousand people.
- 20:18Speaker 2: Yeah, there's the bigest one ever in LA. It's the
- 20:20Speaker 2: first time ever so far.
- 20:22Speaker 7: But you're like, so when you are standing there and
- 20:25Speaker 7: you're looking out at the crowd, like, what's the inner
- 20:28Speaker 7: dialogue are you?
- 20:29Speaker 6: Is it calm? Is it just giddy? Is it like?
- 20:33Speaker 2: Uh? I took a moment.
- 20:35Speaker 6: I canic, like what is it?
- 20:37Speaker 2: I kind of kneeled down and took a moment after
- 20:40Speaker 2: it because it was after that and I literally was
- 20:43Speaker 2: just like, oh man, this is not because you don't
- 20:46Speaker 2: understand my pov. My pov is crazy, Like it was
- 20:52Speaker 2: a sea of people. Yeah, And I'm mean like I
- 20:54Speaker 2: remember looking up to where the logo is way at
- 20:57Speaker 2: the top of the roof. It's like five levels up
- 21:00Speaker 2: or six levels up where it says so far, and
- 21:02Speaker 2: there were lights like little hands moving light and I
- 21:06Speaker 2: was just it literally looked like the stars, and I
- 21:09Speaker 2: really was like, oh my gosh, this is this is
- 21:11Speaker 2: this is actually happening. That's why I didn't let anybody
- 21:15Speaker 2: in my green room, even my family. No one was
- 21:18Speaker 2: allowed backstage. He was just me and my son and
- 21:21Speaker 2: uh and and I had to explain to my family
- 21:23Speaker 2: and go, this is like, this is one of those
- 21:25Speaker 2: moments where I can't have you back there. I go,
- 21:28Speaker 2: I go, I go. When you watch the Super Bowl
- 21:31Speaker 2: and you go into the locker room before the game,
- 21:33Speaker 2: you don't see every player with their family next to
- 21:35Speaker 2: them by their lockers. After it's just the team and
- 21:38Speaker 2: this is their Super Bowl, and then you congratulate them
- 21:41Speaker 2: at the end of the game. So I go, congratulate
- 21:44Speaker 2: me at the end of the game because this is
- 21:45Speaker 2: my super Bowl.
- 21:45Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, it makes sense.
- 21:47Speaker 2: And yeah, so that that's what it was like. But
- 21:49Speaker 2: when I came up that elevator, when I came up
- 21:52Speaker 2: that elevator, because I still haven't haven't seen the crowd yet.
- 21:54Speaker 2: So I was coming up the elevator and I had
- 21:57Speaker 2: that mask on, the Jablwaukee's mask on, so I'm I
- 22:00Speaker 2: only got these two little eye holes. And then all
- 22:03Speaker 2: of a sudden it was revealed to me, and I
- 22:05Speaker 2: just saw this big sea of people and I'm looking
- 22:08Speaker 2: through the eye holes and I'm just like, oh my god,
- 22:13Speaker 2: I gotta be up here for this lone. And oh
- 22:15Speaker 2: that's another thing. There's three stage clocks because if we
- 22:18Speaker 2: go over, we go into penalty, you know what I mean.
- 22:20Speaker 2: It's like like and I'll make up the number, but
- 22:22Speaker 2: it's like something like fifteen thousand a minute or something
- 22:25Speaker 2: like that. It's some ridiculous amount. So it's like a curfew, right,
- 22:28Speaker 2: Oh yeah, curfew's and I and I need to respect that,
- 22:31Speaker 2: like for the whole the whole crew and the whole staff,
- 22:34Speaker 2: Like I need to be on point. So I remember
- 22:36Speaker 2: coming up and I also saw my clocks, you know,
- 22:39Speaker 2: to be set and ready, and I'm like, man, I
- 22:43Speaker 2: got to be in front of them for this long.
- 22:46Speaker 8: Like two seconds.
- 22:48Speaker 2: I felt like one second, Like I remember looking down
- 22:50Speaker 2: at my clock and I go, oh my god, I
- 22:53Speaker 2: only have fifteen minutes left, and I got to start
- 22:56Speaker 2: this portion of my show. And that's it was just
- 22:59Speaker 2: like it just went.
- 23:01Speaker 3: That's how all those big moments are, man, whether it's
- 23:03Speaker 3: a wedding or something like, that's just something really big
- 23:05Speaker 3: that you planned. You spend so much time when thinking
- 23:08Speaker 3: about it and planning it and getting all things together,
- 23:10Speaker 3: and then the day is there and it's just boom.
- 23:13Speaker 3: It almost Christmas lead up to Christmas like almost.
- 23:15Speaker 11: More surreal before the show, like you're it's that morning
- 23:19Speaker 11: of the show, you have your morning coffee, you're in
- 23:22Speaker 11: the bathroom, and then you look at your watch and
- 23:25Speaker 11: you're like, oh my god, in seven hours I got
- 23:27Speaker 11: in front, but now I'm just people in the bathroom.
- 23:30Speaker 11: I think that would be more serial.
- 23:31Speaker 9: I think though, once you got in that mode and
- 23:33Speaker 9: then just you being you on stage, you made that
- 23:36Speaker 9: place feel like it was a tiny club.
- 23:39Speaker 2: It was great. It was insane.
- 23:40Speaker 3: I think it was Jamie Fox. I saw a video.
- 23:42Speaker 3: He said that you made it feel so intimate.
- 23:45Speaker 9: Yeah, like everybody was so locked in. I was afraid
- 23:49Speaker 9: because when you guys said how long the show is
- 23:51Speaker 9: gonna be, I'm like, oh, man, like people are gonna
- 23:54Speaker 9: be like four and a half hours in super drunk?
- 23:56Speaker 9: Are they is such a big place?
- 23:58Speaker 2: Are they?
- 23:58Speaker 9: Are they going to be able to pay attention? But
- 24:00Speaker 9: you made it feel like like a rock show or
- 24:03Speaker 9: like a huge pop concert that people just didn't want
- 24:06Speaker 9: to take their eyes off the stage.
- 24:07Speaker 2: It was nuts. Yeah, it was good, and people were
- 24:10Speaker 2: like like it was a cultural moment. I think like
- 24:12Speaker 2: I felt like everyone was there because they were proud
- 24:15Speaker 2: to be there, and like they all respected the event.
- 24:19Speaker 2: It was. I can't explain it. It was just like
- 24:21Speaker 2: it was an out of body experience. I even said
- 24:23Speaker 2: that to my son. I was like, I go, I
- 24:25Speaker 2: I've never felt anything like this before in my career,
- 24:28Speaker 2: and I felt like that was that that one moment
- 24:30Speaker 2: that I've been waiting for for the longest time.
- 24:33Speaker 3: So what now, Like, what's the we just booked the
- 24:36Speaker 3: we just booked the mood.
- 24:38Speaker 9: Yeah yeah, yeah it's expensive, man, but they get a
- 24:41Speaker 9: static up there.
- 24:42Speaker 2: Yeah, it's gonna be tickets are gonna be crazy. Yeah,
- 24:44Speaker 2: the bootleggers already ready.
- 24:47Speaker 8: The Moon's penalty is like, yeah fifty.
- 24:49Speaker 6: You think La tax is that moon tax?
- 24:53Speaker 3: Not even professionally, but like whether it's professional or personal
- 24:56Speaker 3: at this point, like all these big things that you've
- 24:58Speaker 3: done or what like what's what's a bucket this thing
- 25:00Speaker 3: at this point, not even like professionally, but I saying
- 25:03Speaker 3: just in general, like you like you gotta feel I
- 25:05Speaker 3: think if you do something like that, it gives you
- 25:07Speaker 3: a certain sense of like you feel somewhat invincible.
- 25:10Speaker 6: Yeah, it's crazy, you know.
- 25:11Speaker 3: Like a like because you feel almost like more empowered
- 25:14Speaker 3: to be able to do something else. Crazy that whether
- 25:20Speaker 3: it's professional or personal. Is there any kind of like
- 25:22Speaker 3: what's another bucket list thing for you?
- 25:23Speaker 2: At this point, I will tell you this, this was
- 25:27Speaker 2: extremely stressful, you know, so I I kind of want
- 25:31Speaker 2: to let my brain like not think about anything right now.
- 25:34Speaker 2: So we're gonna do something big again. But I'm telling
- 25:40Speaker 2: like I think that's what I'm trying to say. Yeah,
- 25:42Speaker 2: like this was so stressful. I don't think people really
- 25:44Speaker 2: understand like the job that Gabe and I have, Like
- 25:48Speaker 2: like we're not We're not like a band, like bands
- 25:51Speaker 2: are different, Like that's more like a business. That's uh,
- 25:55Speaker 2: I don't know how to say it. Man, when you're
- 25:57Speaker 2: a comic. Man. We take we that that that Sofi
- 26:00Speaker 2: Stadium was empty, and and that's we We owe whatever
- 26:04Speaker 2: it is the fee that we owe even if we
- 26:07Speaker 2: sell one ticket. And that's so much stress it is
- 26:09Speaker 2: on us. Well, we don't have a record, we don't
- 26:12Speaker 2: have a record or a signature song that everyone's guaranteed.
- 26:16Speaker 2: We have to go up there and nothing that we've
- 26:19Speaker 2: said on our specials before. It has to be a
- 26:21Speaker 2: completely new set. There's none. This is all brand new
- 26:26Speaker 2: for all of us. And it's like if you could
- 26:27Speaker 2: just imagine how much stress that is. On top of that,
- 26:30Speaker 2: we have to also worry about selling tickets and then
- 26:33Speaker 2: paying everybody that like we had the same do we
- 26:36Speaker 2: have the Rolling Stones guy doing our sound? Like literally
- 26:41Speaker 2: like the guy flew in from London, like he was
- 26:43Speaker 2: like yeah, I just finished with Yeah. And that was
- 26:46Speaker 2: in my first meeting, my first meeting with Gabe. As
- 26:48Speaker 2: I go, gay, man, I want section five hundred to
- 26:52Speaker 2: hear that have the same sound that that you know
- 26:55Speaker 2: Row one has, Like I don't want any complaints, Like
- 26:59Speaker 2: like we got to give him, Like we're gonna go
- 27:01Speaker 2: over and above and beyond for for everybody, you know
- 27:05Speaker 2: what I mean. So we we did. We we bought
- 27:08Speaker 2: the halo, the halo, uh you know that's above the
- 27:11Speaker 2: used everything that we could to make sure that everybody
- 27:14Speaker 2: could hear and see everything. And yeah, we went in
- 27:17Speaker 2: on him. So it was so stressful.
- 27:20Speaker 6: Now it's time to decompress.
- 27:21Speaker 2: Yeah, man, decompressed, and I'm more Joe Cooy coming up next.
- 27:30Speaker 6: Hang on, yeah, get out.
- 27:32Speaker 4: Get the hell out of my house.
- 27:34Speaker 6: In Jesus name, I pray you get in the name
- 27:37Speaker 6: of the Lord
