- 0:07Now broadcasting from the next-gen conservative studio in
- 0:11Sunny South Florida, bringing you the latest in politics
- 0:15current events and pop culture. This is he's the Whitfield
- 0:20Report with Sam Whitfield. Welcome to the show folks and
- 0:35smoothly just said, if he were my dad he would name me Walker.
- 0:41Yeah because you're so cool. Like Walker, Texas Ranger,
- 0:44right? Yeah, I think it's fitting,
- 0:46right? That would be.
- 0:51That would be hugely ironic to. I didn't think about that.
- 0:58Why anyway, why would you well you know, your your Zoomer.
- 1:07So according to Nick Fuentes all Zoomers, are I need Bros or some
- 1:13something like that? No, no, I get it.
- 1:16I get it. It would be.
- 1:18It would be ironic because he doesn't know martial arts like
- 1:22Chuck Norris does. Yeah, but how the fuck would you
- 1:24know that when a child is born? You're late, you're going to
- 1:29know you do know because you know that for a fact they don't
- 1:32know, you know martial arts when they're born every you don't
- 1:35know if they will and you've got a name on then.
- 1:39I, you know, I was actually, I actually had my name like before
- 1:47I was born, and my mom, being like, a nerd actually named me
- 1:53after Samuel Clemens nice. Hey Mark, Twain, all that.
- 1:59And well, I'm named after shmuly.
- 2:06Yeah, because you're a mensch. I was named after Nevada Smith.
- 2:15Nobody will get that reference. Yeah, that that is I heard, I
- 2:23heard referenced obscure since Dennis Miller did the
- 2:26black-and-white special in the 90s, whatever great special that
- 2:32was true. Yeah, it really was.
- 2:36Anyway, we were supposed to have a guest tonight but you know
- 2:43Sean's on the road and melon doesn't really work with phones
- 2:48that. Well so waited Yeah, waited
- 2:53patiently on the road way, to be very modern melon.
- 2:58Yeah, he's so poor he doesn't even have starlink.
- 3:04Well well he'd also needed like a computer.
- 3:07Yeah. While driving so well, we had a
- 3:14lot of shit has happened this week, actually.
- 3:19Everyone keeps. Asked me to cover the whole
- 3:22Dylan Mulvaney, but a white thing because they're like, was
- 3:28Sam you drink Budweiser on the show, true.
- 3:31But I usually it's Budweiser. It's not fucking but a lot
- 3:36whitebeard's fucking gay so is Budweiser all myth that.
- 3:41But, you know, it's look, I get it, man.
- 3:44It's generally cheap it, you know, the quality of it and it's
- 3:48fucking you can find it at any goddamn convenience.
- 3:51Store or liquor store in the world.
- 3:52It makes. Yeah, here's here's, here's the
- 3:55thing. About the Dillingham of
- 3:56anything. I think people don't know.
- 3:58Offhand is that those cans and stuff.
- 4:01It wasn't a retail campaign. It wasn't an ad campaign.
- 4:05I mean, it kind of is because they do that like they're trying
- 4:08to get PR but basically, they just made those cans
- 4:11specifically and sent them to that person.
- 4:15It wasn't some, it wasn't going to go on retail shelves.
- 4:18But you know what? Vince N is quoted as saying,
- 4:23perception is reality. So yeah, well, any and here's
- 4:27the whole, here's the whole thing, because I've never really
- 4:31addressed the whole trans thing on this show before.
- 4:36But like, as, as kind of libertarian on this thing, as
- 4:41long as you're an adult, I think this is the case for most
- 4:45people. If you're like a consenting
- 4:49adult, most Including me, don't really care what you identify as
- 4:55I think, what a lot of people are getting pissed off about, is
- 4:58the fact that these trans activists are shoving it in
- 5:01everyone's face, no? Right, they've crossed the line.
- 5:05And I've been saying this for a while because I got son in
- 5:08school. So, I'm at the bus stop with
- 5:10parents. I'm picking my kid up with, I'm
- 5:12talking to people, right? They talk about this, they don't
- 5:16talk about politics most of the time except when it affects
- 5:19them. And what, I hear hear and by the
- 5:22way, especially from minorities not way people is how much they
- 5:29don't want you to bring this shit to their children.
- 5:33Yeah. And what they might do if you
- 5:36did, and it's usually pretty fed postie.
- 5:41Yeah, yeah, I yeah I like that. Well we'll all this shit with.
- 5:48You know, we talked about last week the the shooting that
- 5:53happens at that school and since then you know they're all these
- 6:01pundits on Twitter. Mostly trolls saying that
- 6:04they're afraid, you know, that there's going to be a backlash
- 6:07and that straight people are going to start killing.
- 6:10You know trans. Yeah.
- 6:12And I wonder where we've ever seen them before.
- 6:14It's not like they said that shortly after 9/11 about
- 6:17Muslims, right? Yeah.
- 6:18Right. Yeah.
- 6:21It's not like it's not like that that has never happened.
- 6:25It's not like it's not like Mexicans you know we're saying
- 6:28they were going to be sort of just because the pic hard tells
- 6:31or anything like that. No, no, no.
- 6:34This is what I think about that where it's like, you know, my
- 6:37greatest fears that radical Islam.
- 6:40Comic terrorists are going to get a hold of an atomic bomb.
- 6:43And I'm really terrified that they're going to use it on New
- 6:46York City because then the backlash against peaceful
- 6:50Muslims would be terrible, right?
- 6:54I think it was a Norman Donald joke.
- 6:56Yeah. Yeah, and then, but that's
- 7:00that's what it boils down to. And in the thing is, I mean, any
- 7:04sane person knows that, you know, X person of a group it's
- 7:09the same thing. When they used to blame video
- 7:10games, we're talking about. This is like that doesn't make
- 7:13sense because how many other people play video games and
- 7:16never engage in anything like that, you cannot run a society.
- 7:21When you're tiptoeing in fear of the radical elements of either
- 7:24side of politic You just can't if you're going to cater your
- 7:30all your time, all your law enforcement, all of your civil
- 7:35policies to trying to suppress the violent tendencies of
- 7:40extremists. On either side, what you're
- 7:43going to do and what they are doing is alienating everybody
- 7:46else who is probably about sixty to eighty percent of the
- 7:50population. Well back, you say that, that's
- 7:55not what we're supposed to do and I agree.
- 7:57Agree with you. But but you know, that's the
- 8:00reality that we've lived in 40. I don't know the past five
- 8:04years, at least we're in the were in the world, you're
- 8:08describing? Yeah, no, I'm not, but that's
- 8:12why I'm saying it's untenable. It's and it's it distracts from
- 8:17the kitchen table issues, most people care about.
- 8:19Yeah. Yeah.
- 8:23Well, what's all this really dumb down?
- 8:26Regards to the Bud. White thing is I see eyes and I
- 8:32saw this from Sebastian Gorka where he went out and bought
- 8:36like a thing of, but a lie, and you could see the bag, you could
- 8:41see the receipt, but then like he did the thing where he
- 8:43literally threw Wieck Bud. Why in the trash can?
- 8:49And I'm like, that's stupid. Because you just gave the money.
- 8:53Yeah, you you defeated the whole purpose of the stunt the in and
- 8:57people say that about Kid Rock because Kid Rock really made it
- 9:00go viral with his shooting the the Bud Light packs thing and
- 9:05the thing is is people like oh he bought all that.
- 9:08Here's the difference, Kid Rock his tour was sponsored by Bud
- 9:12Light, they gave him all that fucking Bud Light.
- 9:15Yeah. So he shot it because they had
- 9:19given it to him for free out of part of their Agreement.
- 9:21He didn't go down to the local fucking Johnny six-pack, and buy
- 9:25a case of Bud Light to shoot it and fucking give them money,
- 9:29right? Yeah.
- 9:31Although although there is also that photo that's been popping
- 9:35around it's pretty funny of him like drinking a bud a Budweiser
- 9:40with like a drag queen from like 15.
- 9:44Yeah Kid Rock Kid Rock libertarian is fuck.
- 9:47Always has been like yeah you know I talked about it at Lake
- 9:50it. Kid Rock conservatism is like a
- 9:53strain. It's people like me that are
- 9:55kind of like with that kind of metal hip hop culture of that
- 9:59time frame and it is very little bit like I'll drink with
- 10:03anybody, right? But that same drag queen that he
- 10:05was having a beer with. I bet you if that drag queen did
- 10:07story time at his kids school, he'd want to fucking rip their
- 10:10head off probably. Yeah.
- 10:14And that's the difference. That's the fucking Nuance that
- 10:16these. Don't people get these people
- 10:17don't get sorry. Is that most of us actually?
- 10:21He don't care the drag queens are even trainees exist.
- 10:24We don't care the that what they want from us though is
- 10:28validation and guess what. Sorry you're not entitled to me
- 10:32giving you your validation. This is not a lot of people who
- 10:36are sort of Awakening to this you know their parents they're
- 10:40not politically engaged people and certainly they have not like
- 10:45studied you know fucking queer Theory or whatever nearly to the
- 10:48degree that I have. There's things in there.
- 10:51I mean, when you go to the root of like critical race Theory,
- 10:54you find a lot of thinkers who were against desegregation,
- 10:59right? They were, they were four black
- 11:02actualism, they didn't want to integrate.
- 11:05And if you go into the queer Theory stuff, which a lot of
- 11:07this, this kind of agitation and activism is based upon, they
- 11:14were very much against gay marriage.
- 11:17Yeah. And the reason why is that they
- 11:20were so fearful that, if gay people were to get married that
- 11:25they would integrate themselves into straight culture and their
- 11:30other Earnest would be erased, right?
- 11:33They can no longer be the perpetually, aggrieved victim
- 11:36class that they seek. And, and we've seen that happen,
- 11:40right? Partially.
- 11:42At least among American Jews, American Ashkenazi, Jews
- 11:46specifically. Who most most Americans when you
- 11:49run into a quote unquote, Drew when your day-to-day, you just
- 11:53see another white person, right? That's how most people look at
- 11:56it. They don't really think too much
- 11:57into it. They don't have all this like
- 12:00you know, Obsession and the internet has.
- 12:03And and because of that they lost a little bit of that kind
- 12:06of Perpetual victim status over time.
- 12:09Well and I hypothesize that you know because basically my theory
- 12:12I'll lay this out for the audience is that they have sort
- 12:15of a coalition of people. Who are low status or
- 12:18disaffected, for whatever reason, in society, and they
- 12:22want them to band together, believe in their identities,
- 12:28thus preserving their other nests and then agitate
- 12:33politically. Well, it's important, it's
- 12:37important to point out why that is, is because obviously Marx
- 12:41wrote about the class struggle and it was supposed to be the
- 12:43working class the proletariat, but that that never In America,
- 12:48in most of Europe. And so the cultural marxists and
- 12:51yes, it's, that's not a anti-semitic conspiracy theory.
- 12:54It's an actual school of thought, the people who
- 12:57described themselves as, but the idea was to create new versions
- 13:03of the proletariat as the under class as the aggrieved class.
- 13:08So they could do the struggle instead because the white
- 13:11working class specifically American white working class,
- 13:14didn't do what Marx thought he would.
- 13:16Although The thing is Marx, didn't think American Working
- 13:20Class People Who in like the 50s would do that.
- 13:22He never, he never thought American working class would go
- 13:26that way. What he said is that capitalism
- 13:27would get to such a degree and then it would happen.
- 13:31Right. On its own naturally.
- 13:33Marx himself did not did not Advocate necessarily or a
- 13:37revolution because he thinks that he thought a revolution
- 13:40would probably fail and but just to speak to your point because
- 13:44of this Theory, right? Or hypotheses rather.
- 13:48I would say that if you look at the voting records for Trump,
- 13:54the first time and then the second time, you'll see an
- 13:57increase in the African-American vote and an increase in the
- 14:01Hispanic vote. And if the hypothesis is true,
- 14:05what could explain? This is the fact that they are
- 14:09increasingly able to integrate themselves into the middle class
- 14:12and in so doing they no longer care about this identity.
- 14:16It's not a Day-to-day concern for them, right?
- 14:19They're able to gain status off of their jobs and their
- 14:22families. And, you know, the stuff they do
- 14:24day-to-day like the other middle class.
- 14:26People have, that's interesting because I was just talking about
- 14:28minority parents. That I've talked to and every
- 14:31one of them fits into that category obviously because they
- 14:34live in my area so they're obviously middle class right?
- 14:37And yeah, they you know, middle middle class, Hispanics.
- 14:41I'll tell you. Yeah, they're a little
- 14:43libertarian on some things but they are also very traditional
- 14:46when it comes to marriage. And a little bit of don't like
- 14:50gay stuff very much. People talk about swing voters
- 14:53and I mean I think the data kind of pans that out that's
- 14:57essentially the middle class. Yeah well and then here's the
- 15:02thing in regards to you know the LGBT community is for years.
- 15:10You know, the drumbeat with game are with gay marriage was well,
- 15:16we, you know, we don't want any special treatment we just want
- 15:21to be integrated, you know, we want to be able to have the same
- 15:25rights that straight people do right.
- 15:28But which is, which is a reasonable position for like a
- 15:31moderate gay person saying. Yeah, I shouldn't have to hide
- 15:35in the shadows and the government shouldn't you know,
- 15:39determine What love is and isn't and I actually believe that
- 15:42personally. Me and my wife for went a
- 15:46marriage license for that reason, we don't believe the
- 15:47government like marriage is between you, your spouse, the
- 15:52community, you know, your family, your friends, and yeah,
- 15:55maybe God if you believe in it, right?
- 15:58And so it's the domain of the church in the community, in my
- 16:01personal opinion, and I've always held that belief.
- 16:03Well and so, then I heard the same thing with trans rights
- 16:07initially, right? And it sounded reasonable.
- 16:10Oh from them to, right? But but then like, I actually
- 16:14brought this up to like someone who was actually brought this
- 16:19upon Twitter Lee the other day because Now, it seems like they
- 16:28want special, you know, treatment, right?
- 16:31They, they want everybody to affirm.
- 16:34They don't have Ross. They want reverence.
- 16:37Yeah, they say they want they want Reverend's.
- 16:40That's not the same thing. As being treated, like one else.
- 16:43They want special treatment essentially and so they want it
- 16:48to be illegal for you to disrespect them.
- 16:51And that's that's so strange because nobody is entitled to
- 16:54respect not like well. Well, now I don't, you don't get
- 16:57my respect by default you earn it, that's how it works.
- 17:01It's not even, it's not even a matter of, it's not even a
- 17:05matter of respect or disrespect just because I respect, you
- 17:12know, someone doesn't mean I have to kowtow, right?
- 17:15That. But that's what I'm saying, but
- 17:17also, you don't have to respect anybody, right?
- 17:20This is not something a government can compel you to do.
- 17:24They can compel you to I would speech laws or something over,
- 17:28put you in jail, but they can't change your heart.
- 17:30They can't change. You know what I'm saying?
- 17:32They can only, they can only this is what Banning does a
- 17:36friend of mine on Twitter. I'll use the terms any berries.
- 17:41He used a racial slur in his Twitter handle and got banned in
- 17:46there. Like, you know, I would anybody
- 17:48do this? And I simply made the point is
- 17:52like at a certain point when you get banned, you stop.
- 17:55Worrying about getting banned. Yeah, at a certain point you
- 18:00start tempting fate, why wouldn't you?
- 18:02So it doesn't change people. It doesn't change hearts and
- 18:04Minds to try and like authoritatively fucking get
- 18:08everybody to respect pronouns. All in fact that is what's
- 18:12building this resentment Yeah. It's like you want.
- 18:17You not only want us to like bow in public, essentially, and kiss
- 18:21the ring, but you want us to believe it too.
- 18:24And it's like, you know, you can't do that.
- 18:27Yeah, it's and it's, you know, it's the same thing of we just
- 18:33want to be, we want to be left alone but we wanted to also
- 18:37enforce our rule on you and that's that was j.k., Rowling's
- 18:43whole point, you know, initially when she made those tweets, you
- 18:48know, they got her in so much trouble with the lgbtq community
- 18:52with the Trans and yes, and they were very mild criticisms.
- 18:57They were very mild criticism, extremely mild credit criticisms
- 19:04and and nobody like, my wife's a good example of this, right?
- 19:08Because she doesn't really, she don't really get into politics.
- 19:10She has her issues, but she didn't really care about most of
- 19:13it, right? But like the trans bathroom
- 19:16thing, really does upset her because she feels unsafe if, and
- 19:20there's again you can say, oh, you shouldn't feel unless it's
- 19:24not going to change her fucking heart, dude.
- 19:26It's just not Had bad experiences in a public restroom
- 19:30before with a man coming in there, right?
- 19:33And nothing happened to her, but it made her feel unsafe right?
- 19:37Well Max, she can't Define what a man or woman is a name, right?
- 19:44And so and so what does she do instead she just doesn't use
- 19:48public restrooms at all. Because it's like I can't handle
- 19:52this, you know? I don't want to be a victim of a
- 19:55crime because some guy Has decided he will call himself a
- 19:58girl so he can get in there. And she doesn't she'll point to
- 20:02specific instances of that actually happening.
- 20:04No. Well, it one and well and the
- 20:06weird thing is that was the exact that was the exact because
- 20:11because route like 7 years ago when I was still in a community
- 20:15college I was in I was in a like a I was in a poli-sci class and
- 20:21we were talking at the bathroom thing that was you know, that
- 20:26was big at the time. And I brought that up and I was
- 20:30like, you know, well what if what if some guy goes in there
- 20:35pretending to be a to be a girl and the profession rolled his
- 20:41her eyes at me and was like oh that will never happen, you
- 20:46know? Okay, well I can explain to you
- 20:48exactly how it would happen. You know, you know me, say I'm
- 20:52this big fucking Harry, you know, caveman lookin
- 20:55motherfucker, right? What You also know another thing
- 20:58because you're a man men's rooms are usually gross right there.
- 21:02Usually not well fucking cleaned or maintain more often than not
- 21:07so if I could get away with it without getting dirty looks
- 21:10you're treated badly. Yeah, I'd just say I don't know,
- 21:13I feel like a woman today so I can use the clean restroom, so
- 21:17yeah, people could absolutely abuse this for ulterior motives.
- 21:21Now, my ulterior motive doesn't harm anybody, right?
- 21:23It's not intended to, it's completely benign that I Want to
- 21:27sit on a clean toilet rather than a dirty one.
- 21:30But, you know, my motives are my own and somebody whose motives
- 21:33are much more malevolent than mine?
- 21:36Well, the see what I'm saying? Where are you were so many
- 21:38things at play here? Like, you know, a lot of this
- 21:44has to do with the left constantly getting like just
- 21:48owned by radicals, right? Every time, the sort of radical
- 21:53person is making these points. They go.
- 21:57The leftist into going. Will you just don't care about
- 21:59people and they appeal to their emotional?
- 22:03Well, they appeal to their moral foundations, but the the, the
- 22:08alternative motive of these activists is always there.
- 22:11So, you know, well, don't you care about individual like
- 22:15homosexuals or trans people? And it's like yeah, I might have
- 22:18empathy towards those particular people and and I know people who
- 22:22are that way but like that doesn't In that there's not
- 22:28something more Sinister and you're going to get dismissed by
- 22:31sort of Center leftists when you say that.
- 22:34Well, right. And that is where the denialism
- 22:38of the, the corporate press. They didn't.
- 22:40I, ilysm of the academics. And the radicals is important.
- 22:45Yeah. And it's also, it's also
- 22:47dismissal from the bleeding heart liberals.
- 22:49Because right? My at my professors whole point
- 22:53was well, you know, oh well. Meaning a well-meaning a trans
- 22:58person would never do this, right?
- 23:02And you know, that might be true but she's assuming that she's
- 23:06assuming that all trans people are, you know, have good.
- 23:11Intentions have no ulterior motives and I'm not saying that,
- 23:16you know, there aren't you? No good trans people with good
- 23:20Motors but if there are good trans people there they're also
- 23:24fucking assholes to write these People.
- 23:28Well, they know that were blind as much as you feel disgust it
- 23:33things Sam. When you see like fucked up
- 23:37shit, do you feel pretty disgusted?
- 23:39As much as that's the case, that's the level of intensity,
- 23:42they feel harm versus care. Yeah.
- 23:48Yeah. And the thing is is they know
- 23:51what you're saying. They know that there's a
- 23:53difference, they know there's a distinction but it's the current
- 23:57thing is to just say there's not so they're going to say there's
- 24:00not especially the you know, the liberal left the center-left.
- 24:04Yeah, but I mean what do we expect from people who are just
- 24:08willing to lie about incentives? They're willing to lie about
- 24:11basic economics. They're willing to lie about the
- 24:14rules of the universe, right? They're willing to do that all.
- 24:18Cuz, you know, well, wouldn't it be nicer if we just deceive
- 24:22ourselves? Yeah.
- 24:24Well they will they will they lie to themselves first and
- 24:29foremost right? Like they actually believe their
- 24:35own BS. A lot of.
- 24:37Yeah. Then Bill Maher, actually had it
- 24:43pretty good segment on the woke on all of this woke stuff that
- 24:51I'm trying to find but I'm trying to find on YouTube right
- 24:59now. Okay go ahead and find it.
- 25:01I just want to say like it's interesting people were having a
- 25:03debate today that I sort of interjected into which Was.
- 25:10About women working, right? It's kind of a contentious
- 25:14argument. Somebody was pointing out data
- 25:17that like woman's happiness has been just creasing in the last
- 25:20like 20 years. And the response was like this
- 25:23can't be true because they've been able to work and I found it
- 25:29funny that the left wing person was saying that, you know,
- 25:32through working for a wage that will bring you happiness in
- 25:36life, right? What work makes us free, you
- 25:40know? So and so, my response was like,
- 25:43yeah, I mean, there's no way women are less happy as wage
- 25:46slave, I mean, proud Independent Women, right?
- 25:51It's just hilarious that. They hold that.
- 25:53Just Assumption of the world and that has to be true and I am
- 25:56tenuously as Capitalism is exploitative, right?
- 26:00If you didn't catch the reference.
- 26:01What I said was above the gates at Auschwitz?
- 26:05Yeah, it makes us free just in case you didn't get the
- 26:07reference. Well, are you interesting that
- 26:09that's also the left Wings policy about women?
- 26:13Yes. Yeah.
- 26:14And one the other thing is they're like, oh so you don't
- 26:18think that women can be in business.
- 26:19You don't think that women can be entrepreneurs and it's like
- 26:24sure there can be women entrepreneurs, I know.
- 26:28You know, women who are very successful in the workplace, and
- 26:31they are entrepreneur in a democracy, but it's definitely
- 26:35going to be women in positions, but probably just not as many as
- 26:39they think. Well, but that there is now is
- 26:44now the ironically, like, you know, third-wave feminism and
- 26:51what I was basically forced women into saying, you know,
- 26:55because because we want because we want Want more women in the
- 26:59workplace. Every woman has to want to be in
- 27:02the workplace and if you want, if you want a traditional family
- 27:07and if you want to be a housewife, something is fucked
- 27:10up with you. Yeah.
- 27:12But they've body and to The Liberation oppression Grand
- 27:16narrative. Well it's the ironic thing is
- 27:20they've done the exact opposite thing right.
- 27:23Which originally they wanted to liberate women from the ho,
- 27:27right? But now they've enslaved women
- 27:32to the wage cage. So, to the to the taxman, which
- 27:36was the whole point of it. If you look into the writings in
- 27:40the 50s and 60s among like second-wave feminists, like they
- 27:45wanted women out in the workforce, in the way, they sold
- 27:48it to a lot of these government agencies and everything else.
- 27:51And the way they pushed affirmative action was exactly
- 27:54that, it's like oh it's better for taxes.
- 27:57Now, you can Have two income families and tax them both.
- 28:02Yeah. Yeah.
- 28:03And like Sam said, I mean the immediate response is like well
- 28:07what about these outlier productive women?
- 28:09It's like, yeah, of course. They should be allowed to do any
- 28:13of these things. Right.
- 28:14The matter is why are women less happy?
- 28:17And like we should be open to the concept that perhaps women
- 28:21have bought into this Liberation idea and are seeking happiness
- 28:27through only work. Because they've been told that
- 28:29that's how they'll be happy and they feel like there's something
- 28:33wrong with them if that's not the case, right?
- 28:36And I've discussed this with my own mother, my my mother worked.
- 28:42I was there with her a lot of the time that she was working,
- 28:44but she said that she felt guilt.
- 28:48She felt guilt when she wasn't working and was just taking care
- 28:51of me. But she also felt guilt that she
- 28:53wasn't giving me as much attention um as she thought I
- 28:57needed. So I think lots of women
- 29:00struggle. I think a lot of women,
- 29:02particularly of that generation, the concern for them, wasn't
- 29:07even like, oh, liberate me from the home.
- 29:09That's why she has the guilt both ways.
- 29:11It was a financial decision because now in the 90s and
- 29:152000's, we've been pushed into a situation where generally
- 29:19speaking. If you're a married couple with
- 29:21kids and you don't have a two-income family, it's very
- 29:24difficult to survive. So I imagine that guilt of not
- 29:27working Was more about. We could have more money on the
- 29:30table than it was about Liberation Theory, right?
- 29:36Well, by my mother will last doesn't care because they get
- 29:40the same result, right? Yeah, yeah.
- 29:43Yeah. My my mother, you know, was kind
- 29:48of in this was kind of in a similar position to yours
- 29:54shmuly, my mother. It's interesting that we had
- 29:57Kurt do it on to talk out, you know, technology and whatnot.
- 30:01A few weeks ago because my mother was actually in
- 30:05technology as well in the 1980s. She was like one of the first
- 30:12few, no personal computer sales people for the Macintosh, back
- 30:17in the 80s and in the mid-90s when she had me.
- 30:23She was like she was a very high-level executive actually at
- 30:28Microsoft and she decided to quit to or retire to take care
- 30:35of me because she realized that, you know, I would need more
- 30:41attention. So she did and, you know, a lot
- 30:45of her co-workers, not all of them.
- 30:48But some of them gave her shit. You know that she was giving up
- 30:53being a successful woman in the workplace, I find that.
- 30:56So detestable man and Yeah, and I mean, you know, she just
- 31:03basically blew them off and, you know, and then, you know, once I
- 31:08was old enough and kind of, you know, watch, oh my soul.
- 31:13She, she did go back to work and she's been working, you know,
- 31:18wreath tell and, you know, she's had some successes, but yeah,
- 31:24she told me that. Yeah, that the backlash that she
- 31:28got from her expose peers was really.
- 31:30Boy, you know it was shocked it. So yeah, it when it comes to
- 31:36choosing a traditional lifestyle among women, there is an
- 31:39absolute pressure. My wife experienced that for the
- 31:44like, my wife was never political until the moment where
- 31:48she was pregnant and she joined, like, you know, Mommy groups on
- 31:52Facebook. It's all a bunch of, right, you
- 31:54know, Mommy shit, whatever. And then she by many, many
- 31:58people in one of these groups, got told that be When she found
- 32:01out it was a boy and she made a post real happy.
- 32:03They said to the she should immediately get an abortion.
- 32:09And that she's a horrible person for bringing another evil, man
- 32:12into this world and that was her political Awakening.
- 32:17Oh my God. Yeah, that's the same.
- 32:20That is totally insane. Yeah, it's really common in
- 32:24those mommy groups, by the way. So if you got a girl right?
- 32:28And maybe I don't know how much this applies to young guys, but
- 32:31if you got a girl and you get her pregnant, keep that bitch
- 32:34out of the fucking mommy groups because they're full of this
- 32:38insanity and they try and getting get you in their little
- 32:41nests. Yeah, that yeah.
- 32:42Yeah. Well this is this is the danger
- 32:44of this this oppression liberation.
- 32:47Thing these people play I mean a it's all fucking unfalsifiable
- 32:53be it's backed up by like these institutions and shit that these
- 32:57people Balaam onto these people create and fucking take over,
- 33:01right? And the the logic is anything is
- 33:05acceptable because we're oppressed Yeah, it is it speaks
- 33:13to something very primitive in the human mind.
- 33:16I think it's that drive for power.
- 33:21The well, I mean, mrs. Vickers on The Good, The Bad and
- 33:26The Vicious. She's actually talked about
- 33:28toxic the mom groups on Facebook are like she's talking at that
- 33:33firsthand. So Yeah, it's it's sick but my
- 33:44wife's private. So she doesn't come out and talk
- 33:46about this stuff but like that, that one is so like huge that I
- 33:50feel. Okay.
- 33:51Sharing it like these mommy groups on.
- 33:54Maybe it's not Facebook anymore. I don't know where the mommy
- 33:57groups would maybe take talk or whatever.
- 33:59But yeah, they're just full of this they attack, right?
- 34:03And that is too, because it's women and now you're low.
- 34:07Itís because you're being attacked and they're hoping that
- 34:09women will just conform to do the thing, right?
- 34:13It's really Sinister in my opinion.
- 34:17Yeah, no it is. But to illustrate, I guess just
- 34:23how insane all this woke, you know, has become.
- 34:27We've gotten to the point and I've mentioned this before but
- 34:32the woke she has gotten so insane that even liberals like
- 34:35Bill Maher are now Now sounding like, you know, conservatives
- 34:41were five ten years ago, you know, anyone who has followed
- 34:48the long more of, you know, my show knows that I used to fuck
- 34:53and hate Bill modern criticize and pretty right away on my
- 34:57show. And within the past year, I've
- 35:00actually come to like some of the stuff that he said and
- 35:05people have wondered why. And so So I thought rather than
- 35:09trying to explain it, I would show find that funny as a
- 35:13concept, right? Like, you know, because usually
- 35:17it's like a well of conservatives are just
- 35:20progressives from like 7 years ago.
- 35:23It's humorous for it to be the other way, right?
- 35:26Yeah, yeah. It's really.
- 35:28It's the reversal. Yeah.
- 35:30So anyway, let's play this. This is for Mars new rules
- 35:36segment. New rule out a rope Revolution,
- 35:40this is from about a month ago but I think it's pretty good.
- 35:44So yeah. If you're part of today's woke
- 35:49Revolution, you need to study the part of revolutions where
- 35:53they spin out of control because the revolutionaries get so drunk
- 35:57on their own purifying Elixir. They imagine they can reinvent
- 36:00the very nature of human beings. True.
- 36:06Drew could be cast out of human nature Russian revolutionaries
- 36:14spoke of the new Soviet man who wasn't motivated by
- 36:17self-interest. But instead wanted to be part of
- 36:19a collective, no turns out, he wanted to be on a yacht, in a
- 36:23Gucci track suit holding a vodka and a prostitute.
- 36:29Awesome. True.
- 36:35The problem with Communism and with some very recent ideologies
- 36:40here at home is that they think you can change Reality by
- 36:43screaming at it that you can bend Human Nature by holding
- 36:46your breath. But that's the difference
- 36:48between reality and your mommy. Lincoln once said that you can
- 36:54repeal all past history but you still cannot repeal human nature
- 36:59but he's cancelled now. So fuck him.
- 37:08Yesterday I asked, are there any similarities between today's
- 37:12woke Revolution and Chairman Mao's cultural revolution in the
- 37:151960s and it wrote back. How long do you have?
- 37:23Because again, in China, we saw how I revolutionary thought he
- 37:27could do. A page-one rewrite of humans.
- 37:31Now, ordered his citizens, the throw off the for olds old,
- 37:37thinking old culture, old customs, and old habits.
- 37:40So your whole life, when in the garbage overnight, no biggie and
- 37:45those who resisted were attacked by an army of purifiers, called
- 37:50the Red Guard. And who went around the country
- 37:52putting dunce caps on people. Yeah.
- 37:56Who didn't take to being a new kind of mortal.
- 37:58Being a lot of pointing and shaming went on.
- 38:02Oh, and about a million dead. And the only way to survive was
- 38:06to plead Insanity for the crime of being insufficiently, radical
- 38:10than apologize. And thank the state for the
- 38:12chance to see what a piece of shit you are.
- 38:16And of course submit to re-education, or as we call it
- 38:19here in America freshman orientation, bill got jokes this
- 38:31story. There's a law professor at the
- 38:33University of Illinois, Chicago named, Jason, Kilbourne, whose
- 38:36crime was that on one of his exams, he used a hypothetical
- 38:41case or a black female, worker. Sued her employer for race and
- 38:45gender. Discrimination alleging that
- 38:47managers have called her to slur words.
- 38:50The type of real-world case, these students might one day
- 38:53confront, and knowing the extreme sensitivity of today's
- 38:57students. He didn't write the two taboo
- 38:59words on the test. Just the first letter of each.
- 39:02He was teaching, his students, how to fight racism in the place
- 39:07where it matters most the criminal justice system, but
- 39:10because he merely alluded to those words again in the service
- 39:14of a good cause He was banned from campus placed on indefinite
- 39:19leave and made to wear the dunce cap.
- 39:24No, not really the dunce cap part but what our American
- 39:27version of that? Eight weeks of sensitivity
- 39:30training weekly 90-minute sessions with the diversity
- 39:34trainer, and having to write five self reflection papers, a
- 39:38grown-ass man, a liberal law professor.
- 39:42If you can't see the similarities between that and
- 39:45this, This, the person needs re-education is you?
- 39:56Yes, we do have our own Red Guard here, but they do their
- 40:00rampaging on Twitter. Here's a cute example from a
- 40:04couple of years ago. The banjo player.
- 40:10From Mumford & Sons tweeted that.
- 40:12He liked a book, A book that apparently had not been approved
- 40:16by the revolution. So of course he had to delete
- 40:20the Tweet then take time away from the band.
- 40:23Oh my God. You mean this could have
- 40:24affected Mumford and Sons and then the cringing apology I have
- 40:31come to better understand the pain caused by the book.
- 40:34I endorse pain from a book. Les he hit the drummer over the
- 40:39Head with it. What happened to?
- 40:47I can read, whatever the fuck I want.
- 40:53Big truth. Don't worry, I'm a musician.
- 40:58It won't happen again. Also big as a music guy.
- 41:09Also, big true. Listen to it.
- 41:20No, it was the opposite. The lyrics.
- 41:23Are you say you want a revolution?
- 41:26Well, You know we all want to change the world but if you go
- 41:31carrying pictures of Chairman Mao you ain't going to make it
- 41:33with anybody anyhow. There's a guy who understood how
- 41:37good intentions can turn into the insane.
- 41:39Arrogance of thinking, your Revolution is so fucking awesome
- 41:43and your generation is so mind-bendingly improved that you
- 41:48have bequeathed the world with the new kind of human.
- 41:50You're welcome with Communists, that human was no longer selfish
- 42:02in America. Today, that human is no longer
- 42:04born male or Female. And obesity is not something
- 42:08that affects Health, you can be healthy at any size.
- 42:11Really? We voted on it.
- 42:16A formerly serious magazine. Last year, published with a
- 42:19straight face, an article called separating Sports by sex.
- 42:23Doesn't make sense. Yes, it does.
- 42:28Because again, we haven't reinvented Homo sapiens.
- 42:31Since Crystal Pepsi came out. I've spent three decades on TV.
- 42:40Mocking Republicans, who said climate change was just a theory
- 42:43and now I got to deal with people who say you know what?
- 42:46This is just a billy biology. Yeah, he's pretty on the nose
- 42:53there. Yeah, that that is that is where
- 42:57we're at though? Bill Maher.
- 42:58Who I used to fucking criticize all the time on this show for
- 43:04saying at the time pretty left-wing things.
- 43:09Now it sounds like Dennis Miller or more.
- 43:13Maybe Donald this speaks exactly to my point that we need to
- 43:17shame the Liberal left for like being sell out and losing to the
- 43:24radical left at every single turn.
- 43:28Well, because Bill knows Bill knows that he's one fucking bad
- 43:32joke away from the dunce cap himself, he's already, they've
- 43:36already tried putting it on him multiple times.
- 43:39They've all they've already tried, but he's also at the
- 43:42level where yet, where he not only does?
- 43:45He have fuck you money. He has fuck me money from HBO.
- 43:49He's not, he's not, he's not going anywhere.
- 43:52You can't can't get rid of them, he's an establishment.
- 43:55Yeah, I did. It was like they tried to get
- 43:57rid of rush for many many years, right?
- 43:59And I hate to make the comparison, a lot of people will
- 44:02cringe, but it is a good comparison.
- 44:04Billy has been around since the early 90s doing this shit.
- 44:07Look, I hate to Say it but you know, conservatives don't have a
- 44:11lot of power in Hollywood. It's real got a lot of power in
- 44:15Academia. We know we don't have a lot of
- 44:19power in the media outside of a few outlets, right?
- 44:22Like the the fact of the matter is is that these institutions
- 44:26are overwhelmingly fucking staffed and ran by people and
- 44:31owned outright in some cases, by people who are like go more The
- 44:38but they are focused on kicking the conservatives out and
- 44:41maintain their power. But they, they constantly let
- 44:44these people just take institutional power or abuse
- 44:49people or make a mockery of their fucking institutions
- 44:52because they will not tell them. No, well, the well, the problem,
- 44:56the max said that, you know, the, the the Liberals have all
- 45:01sold out and I, I kind of disagree.
- 45:04I think the problem is it's not Not that they sold out its that
- 45:09they got complacent and were like, well, okay, it's just one
- 45:15radical left. Yeah, they dragged the radicals
- 45:19in with them, and of course, they have a policy of don't
- 45:21denounce the radicals. Like, that is pretty Universal
- 45:25policy on the left. And I mean, that's why we got
- 45:28here and maybe Bill Maher fucking understands that he's,
- 45:31he was running cover for them. A few, the same people he's
- 45:34lambaste, sting he was running cover for it. 20/20 so well.
- 45:39Yeah, because because and I mean I'm not defending him for doing
- 45:42that, but but the logic is, oh, there's only there's only one of
- 45:47them. How bad can it be?
- 45:49And it's like, well, there's or, you know, in 2020.
- 45:52It was oh, well, they're only going after anti-vaxxers right
- 45:55there are only going after the right.
- 45:57And that's the justification. A lot of these people use to
- 46:00allow these radicals to do whatever the fuck they want.
- 46:03Is like, oh well they're they're going after those people.
- 46:05So it's fine but now. Now, they've run out of those
- 46:08people within the institutions to go after, and if you're
- 46:11outside of the institutions, it's easy to find that cancel.
- 46:15Culture doesn't affect a lot of people as much as people think.
- 46:22No, no within reason you could get cancelled if you're just a
- 46:27fucking gas station attendant, yes, that can happen, right?
- 46:31But the idea that like you're working class, guy could never
- 46:34work again because he made a mean tweet.
- 46:37That's just ridiculous. And they know it.
- 46:39It's not how it actually works. It is it is ridiculous.
- 46:43But at the same time, we're getting to the point now where
- 46:47we're the radicals, want that to be the case.
- 46:51Oh, they've always wanted. That to be the case, but it just
- 46:54doesn't have. If you're outside of the
- 46:55institutions, you know, like I work for myself.
- 46:59Right. So I can't like your eye, you
- 47:02could cancel me in, you could get all my customers to stop
- 47:06going to my business, right? Yeah.
- 47:09But even that, like, I would find something else, especially
- 47:13knowing cancel culture is a thing.
- 47:14And everybody who could potentially be cancelled at this
- 47:17point knows that and as there's all these different strategies,
- 47:2211 strategy, and I don't think enough people do.
- 47:24It is just to blend the fuck in in Lake.
- 47:27If your, if you're a young conservative guy and you're you
- 47:30want to go into a field that requires a degree.
- 47:33This idea of don't ever go. To college is retarded, just
- 47:36fucking say that say the tranny shit, say the say, gender
- 47:40Theory, repeat critical, race Theory, get your fucking degree,
- 47:43and then you can be the change within the system, and I know
- 47:46this will work because that's how the Liberals got in.
- 47:49In the first place. And then they brought the
- 47:51radicals with Well, that will, that's what I that's what I did
- 47:56in college all well, simultaneously hosting the show
- 48:02when I when I was in college and what was funny was I actually
- 48:05had a few people. Like, you know, once they found
- 48:09my show, they were like, how come you, just how come you?
- 48:13How come you don't bring any of this shit up?
- 48:15Then if you know, if you actually believe it and I just
- 48:19told him I'm like, hey, I'm just here to get a college degree.
- 48:22Like, Like everyone else, you know, is in.
- 48:27And besides I kind of see as like role playing in a sense
- 48:31like, I'm playing like a fictional, you know, like I'm
- 48:35writing fan fiction. All right.
- 48:37Well, there is a, you know what you're supposed to say and it's
- 48:40actually really easy just to say it, but that doesn't mean you
- 48:43have to believe it or internalized.
- 48:44It. No.
- 48:46And this is, this is the way. The Soviet Union collapsed,
- 48:48right? Like, you could have said like
- 48:50okay, how did the Soviet Union collapsed and every step of the
- 48:53way? Way, if you took like Lennon to
- 48:56the 1980s, right? With collapse, the Soviet Union,
- 49:00he would have said, well, where's the Red Guard?
- 49:03It's like oh yeah, they were down the road.
- 49:06It's like oh well where were the Pioneer youth?
- 49:08Like oh they actually just said that they believed in communism
- 49:12to get ahead. Like what about the military?
- 49:14Well they showed up and stood down and that's that's the thing
- 49:19of these radicals, right? They know that they can be
- 49:23radical in the current culture and as soon as that's not
- 49:25possible anymore, they will immediately go back to blending
- 49:28in. Yeah, But my point my point is
- 49:33that you can lie to get ahead and in fact in a system as as
- 49:39bad as ours and that way where it demands ideological Purity
- 49:44people will 100% a lie and say they believe it and spout it and
- 49:50I think that you should too to a degree.
- 49:53If you're going to college or you think that you can get ahead
- 49:56through that. Wait, I don't think you should
- 49:59let that get in your way. I wouldn't.
- 50:01Question becomes then, right? What?
- 50:04That the the so you're saying to do that, right?
- 50:07What is the other alternative you could do?
- 50:10And the other alternative you could do is try and argue with
- 50:12these college. Professors one, you run the risk
- 50:15of getting yourself straight up canceled or kicked out of
- 50:17college. If you go too far too even if
- 50:20you don't because you're not reflecting the bias that that
- 50:24Professor has you are just more likely to get lower grades,
- 50:28you're going to reduce your GPA that way, which I I have to tell
- 50:31you, I'm not, I'm not proud of this, but that have that have
- 50:36my, that did happen, my my freshman year of college, I took
- 50:42an English class. And the professor, the professor
- 50:49was she was, she was like an old basically like retired.
- 50:54She was an old like hippy, like Professor from she was on her
- 51:00way out. A out and it was like her last
- 51:02class, but anyway, she made us write this paper.
- 51:05I'm like basically man made climate change in a fucking
- 51:10English class, right? And so I was like, well, I'm
- 51:15going to do this research and, you know, I'm going to prove the
- 51:19opposite and to be fair, I thought I wrote a pretty good
- 51:23paper, but it didn't really have.
- 51:25It didn't matter because she thought the paper she was asking
- 51:29you for Right? And so I and so, as a result,
- 51:34like, I actually felt I actually felt the class and I, you can
- 51:40you learned a lesson from that as we can tell by what you said.
- 51:43Previous to this, right? You figured well, what's the
- 51:47fucking point in that? It's, you know, because the
- 51:50quite the thing is, whether you taking loans, grants, or you
- 51:53have a parent paying for it, right?
- 51:55Somebody is paying for those college classes and for you to
- 52:00become You're so principal did you have to argue with these
- 52:03professors? Who hold all the power in the
- 52:05situation? You're just throwing money away,
- 52:08right? Right.
- 52:10I I wasn't going to win. So, you know, I had to, I had to
- 52:15retake the class in the summer, which sucked.
- 52:18But, you know, I hour and it was with a different professor and
- 52:22thank God. That one wasn't radical at all.
- 52:25But even so I just, I basically kept my mouth shut and basically
- 52:30just It did the, you know, do the thing the class.
- 52:34And that's and that's why I did, my entirety throughout college.
- 52:39And, you know, that's what I, that's what I tell people.
- 52:44That's I tell students now and they're like, well, they're
- 52:48like, well, you know, Sam you were hosting the Whitfield
- 52:51report you were doing all of this stuff while you are in
- 52:54college. How can you be telling me to
- 52:55just, you know, to keep my mouth shut and I tell them it's like
- 53:00Because I wasn't doing the show like on school time and when I
- 53:07was in class, I was, I was doing, you know what, what I was
- 53:14assigned to do and if you, if your show had blown up huge at
- 53:18the time, that would have had ramifications for your school as
- 53:21well. I mean, I mean yet I mean yes
- 53:27maybe but also my argument was Even if it had my professor
- 53:33couldn't penalize me for what I was saying outside of the class.
- 53:40So I'm as it was affecting, right, but what I'm saying is,
- 53:44let's say you became the next fucking Shapiro or something,
- 53:47right? That huge that recognizable.
- 53:50Yeah. You know, that could have gotten
- 53:51you canceled, its, you know you it was still risky, right?
- 53:55And so, yeah, the point is, it's not that you don't take any
- 53:58risks at all but like look, Cook a lot of you, a lot of young
- 54:02guys don't need college at all, right?
- 54:04Get it. Get a trade or get, you know,
- 54:06start a business or something. If you don't need to go to
- 54:08college, do not go. But A lot of people on the right
- 54:12miss the fact that there's a lot of things that you do need
- 54:15college. For, or there's a lot of reasons
- 54:17why you'd want to go into higher education.
- 54:19If you're specifically interested in a specific field
- 54:23or topic, right? So like this idea of like, oh
- 54:27well never go to college under any circumstances puts us at
- 54:31just as big of a fucking disadvantage as anything else.
- 54:35The one, I the one I love is, oh, just go into the tray.
- 54:41AIDS. Right.
- 54:43And it's like, I don't have anything thing against the
- 54:46trades but I'm well, yeah, you're like, for example, I'm
- 54:51not going to tell you to go be a fucking roofer.
- 54:53Right? Right.
- 54:54But, but that's the thing is people, people would only have
- 54:59like online, you know, without knowing me have been like, well,
- 55:02why did you go? Why didn't you go to trade
- 55:05school? You should have done that.
- 55:06And it's like, because I would like, and by the way, my stepdad
- 55:11like I said, as a So I had to cut thing because division of
- 55:15labor, that's why? Yeah.
- 55:17And you know, also like even even like a lot of able like
- 55:22there are able-bodied people that should not go to trade
- 55:25school because they're just not good at it or they're not gonna
- 55:30do it. There's a lot of young guys
- 55:31should and that's why I put that out there as an alternative
- 55:35because a lot of young guys are, you know, Hands-On Learners and
- 55:39they like to work with their hands.
- 55:40And if that's you There's probably very little in a
- 55:44college setting for you. Oh absolutely, absolutely but
- 55:48but what I'm in less you want to go into like engineering or some
- 55:51some higher tier stem field like that, right?
- 55:54And again, if you want to go into a stem field do but what
- 55:58I'm saying is don't don't single yourself out if you want that
- 56:02degree, right? Don't single yourself out.
- 56:05Don't make yourself a Target, but what?
- 56:07Yeah, no, I agree what I'm saying though is, it seems like
- 56:12a lot. Kids.
- 56:13Now, I have this, like, have this, like binary, like thought
- 56:17process where it's, where it's either, where it's either or
- 56:21college, or trade school and I'm saying, and I think you're
- 56:25saying there's more than one, there's more than two options
- 56:32so, right? Yeah, yeah.
- 56:34I mean, I mean, currently, like, you're a college graduate, I
- 56:37never fucking stepped foot on a college campus in my life,
- 56:41that's not true. My mom, my mom was in college
- 56:44when, when I was a baby. So I have been to college, but
- 56:47the point being is I don't have any type of degree never sought
- 56:52to get one and you don't need one.
- 56:55But if you do need what like if you're if you're a fucking
- 56:58Science Guy and you're really autistic about science, you
- 57:02know, you might want to go into a stem field, you might want to
- 57:05go to MIT, you might want to go to some of these fucking
- 57:08schools. And if you go there and you
- 57:11start arguing with the Answers about politics.
- 57:13There's no upside for you. No, absolutely not.
- 57:20How we change, those institutions is get people in
- 57:24them and you don't get people in them by challenging the fucking
- 57:27establishment. Every chance.
- 57:28What that gets you is labeled the fucking dissident in a
- 57:31troublemaker and we don't want any part of you.
- 57:35Yeah. Well and I mean you know the
- 57:39thing too is people bring up Troy Kirk all the time and it's
- 57:42like and it's like, well yeah, you can sure Charlie Kirk has
- 57:47done good things but I mean enjoy has admitted.
- 57:50This this is no big secret but Charlie never went to college
- 57:55either. So You know, like that's that's
- 58:01another thing too. I had, if I had gone for the it
- 58:06degree that everybody in my generation was told, every male
- 58:09was told to get, and that's why there's so many people with it
- 58:13degrees, working at my Starbucks now, but if I hadn't done that,
- 58:17most of the people, I know my peers, I would say who did go
- 58:21and get an IT degree in the early 2000s.
- 58:25I'm not even kidding, you, they work at Best Buy Geek Squad, and
- 58:28they make only slightly more than minimum wage and they're
- 58:30pushing 40. Yeah, I yeah.
- 58:33Well, no, I that, actually, I remember in the mid-2000s, like,
- 58:37seeing like Saturday morning cartoons, like I would seek
- 58:42commercials for, like, full sales, you know, you can get an
- 58:46IT degree today from IT Tech Institute or something like
- 58:52well, cuz cuz the internet blew up at the end, The 2000 the I'm
- 58:56sorry. The end of the fucking 90s and
- 58:58into the 2000s and the Boomers were just like well we don't
- 59:02know how to do any of this technology we need.
- 59:04We need young people to get into the IT field and of course
- 59:06Millennials by and large are the children of Boomers in.
- 59:11And also what occurred do, little calls, gin Jones, which I
- 59:15would, I would argue is the same as Boomers, but, whatever, and
- 59:19splitting hairs. Those are our parents and they
- 59:22were telling us get into it. Because we need, there's going
- 59:26to be a need for all these it people but because they funneled
- 59:29everybody into it, there's so many men in my age group with it
- 59:34degrees that are just fucking useless.
- 59:36And I don't have a 90 degree and I'm eligible for all the same
- 59:40job system because I actually have experience in the same
- 59:42field, right? That that's and I have a track
- 59:46record and I have contacts and I have people that can avouch for
- 59:49my fucking work, but if you're just another Geek Squad fucking
- 59:54nerd with a degree, Free. Like, like does anybody respect
- 59:57The Geek Squad? I mean, I do but that's because
- 1:00:02I'm a fucking nerd. Well, I mean I mean in the sense
- 1:00:06of like you don't you don't you don't see them as like, the
- 1:00:12local fucking computer guy even though they kind of are for a
- 1:00:15lot of towns. Well yeah no I know I mean I
- 1:00:19get, I get just, they're just another corpo shil essentially,
- 1:00:23they're just right? Yeah.
- 1:00:24And and it, that's why a lot of people don't like to use Geek
- 1:00:28Squad. They overcharged for one which
- 1:00:31is amazing with the wages that they fucking pay.
- 1:00:34I don't know. Why they overcharged but and
- 1:00:36then to branding that yeah that is literally branding and and
- 1:00:41that's how I can compete right? I just undercut, Best Buy easy.
- 1:00:46Well, if you charge fucking $10 less than Best Buy, you know, I
- 1:00:51mean, you could still make a profit so my my degree was is in
- 1:00:56technical was in technical Communications.
- 1:01:00I initially wanted to go into into marketing but the reason
- 1:01:06why I never did as a major was because I didn't have the
- 1:01:09fucking math requirements to do, you know, to get like a
- 1:01:14marketing. Degree.
- 1:01:18What's ironic about that is 90% what I'm doing now is marketing
- 1:01:26and Communications for, you know, small businesses,
- 1:01:32meanwhile the, you know, the people who I went to school with
- 1:01:36who did get marketing degrees, they can actually get work in
- 1:01:41marketing. They're all at Starbucks or Geek
- 1:01:45Squad ironically well a couple a couple weeks ago and we didn't
- 1:01:49really we didn't really go all over it, but we Add Craig on,
- 1:01:53right and Craig Mansfield, who is a PhD?
- 1:01:56And he has also like eight fucking degrees, right?
- 1:01:59And he would agree with me that most people don't need.
- 1:02:02Even one. Most people don't or not most,
- 1:02:07but like a large portion of people.
- 1:02:10Actually, I would say, a large portion of people don't need any
- 1:02:12more than a sixth, grade education.
- 1:02:15Well Max, can I ask you this? And I'll ask, I'll ask some
- 1:02:20schmoyer, this to shmuly. yeah, I know this dance will probably
- 1:02:24be the same as me, but when I was a freshman in high school, I
- 1:02:31got the whole lecture, basically, my first week,
- 1:02:35freshman orientation of high school of you need to start
- 1:02:39thinking of what you wanted to major in right now.
- 1:02:43When you go to apply for colleges and if you don't apply
- 1:02:47to go to college, then your wages are going to be lower.
- 1:02:51You're not going to make enough money.
- 1:02:52You're basically going to be dirt, poor they made it seem
- 1:02:55like if I didn't, if we didn't go to college that we rate
- 1:02:59basically going to I like die in a ditch at 30.
- 1:03:04Yeah, I didn't get maybe as much as you on that tip.
- 1:03:09Simply because I was a troublemaker, but like the thing
- 1:03:13is, is they would use that kind of guilting on me.
- 1:03:16Like, oh, well you keep getting suspended, you're not gonna go
- 1:03:20to college and then you're gonna die out of the door, right?
- 1:03:23Yeah. No.
- 1:03:23It was the same thing and I didn't have.
- 1:03:25So you buy it but I'm at a point now, I make more money than most
- 1:03:29of the people I graduated. With.
- 1:03:31Yeah, I didn't receive it to that level Sam.
- 1:03:35I don't think so. I mean maybe I just don't
- 1:03:39recall, I mean in high school, I really Wouldn't have paid
- 1:03:45attention to that shit anyway. Oh no, neither did I, but the
- 1:03:51fact that the the fucking crew councils who were supposed to
- 1:03:55help students were fear-mongering everyone into
- 1:03:58going to college. That's the meanest.
- 1:04:00It's funny that we had like brought up the, you know, don't
- 1:04:05necessarily like challenge your professors or whatever in high
- 1:04:08school. That's all I did was challenge
- 1:04:11my like they would give me a prompt and I would Right.
- 1:04:15The opposite of what? Like, the standard opinion would
- 1:04:17be on it on purpose. Yeah, no II did the same thing
- 1:04:21and I did the same thing in high school.
- 1:04:24When I was, when I was in high school, I I fucking walked out
- 1:04:29of a out of Amanda or I'm sorry. I fucking rolled out of a, we
- 1:04:38got them. Ladies and gentlemen, we got
- 1:04:42him. You're gonna call it that I I
- 1:04:46rolled out of a mandatory, it was senior year and amnesty,
- 1:04:53Amnesty International had like this seminar that was like, all
- 1:04:59that. Like they said, it was a human
- 1:05:02rights awareness day. But it was basically like work
- 1:05:05out how much America sucks because, you know, it's a
- 1:05:10capitalist nation and it was basically guilt-tripping Being
- 1:05:16trying to make us feel bad for being Americans, right?
- 1:05:21And so at one point, like they had the speaker who, who was a
- 1:05:25crazy? Like third wave feminist.
- 1:05:27And she basically said that every single she's at every
- 1:05:32single male in this room is a potential rapist, right?
- 1:05:38And so, I and so I initially thought causing a scene, but
- 1:05:45then I'm like, not fuck it. I'm just gonna, I'm just gonna
- 1:05:50leave. And so I started to and security
- 1:05:54try to stop me and they were like, this is, this is mandatory
- 1:05:58and you're only three weeks away from graduating.
- 1:06:01So, you know, I can't let you wait.
- 1:06:05And I told the security guard, who knew me pretty well, his
- 1:06:09name was Mike. I said, Mike, you know me and
- 1:06:14you know that you know that this bullshit, you also know that my
- 1:06:19mom is the precinct leader for the Republican party in our
- 1:06:25community. So do you really want Do you
- 1:06:32want to be the one to tell her that her son's not graduating?
- 1:06:38Because, because he didn't want to get ranted at by a feminist,
- 1:06:43calling him a rapist. Yeah.
- 1:06:46And so he basically, he basically said, you know, okay,
- 1:06:52go ahead. I'll cover for you.
- 1:06:54Just don't just don't tell any one.
- 1:06:56So basically, I basically like locked.
- 1:07:01Zone strength, causing a scene, which is what I was going to do.
- 1:07:04I basically fucked off took my iPad into the into the student
- 1:07:10newspaper building and and barricaded myself for the rest
- 1:07:15of the day and read comic books. It was fucking great.
- 1:07:18It was fucking great. I played hockey without actually
- 1:07:22playing hockey in school. So, but yeah.
- 1:07:28See I did the Rebellion thing in high school, but the difference
- 1:07:31was This is what, you know, a decade and a half difference
- 1:07:35between you guys. And me would be like politics,
- 1:07:39wasn't like this until fairly recently.
- 1:07:43So what I wasn't rebelling against the politics being
- 1:07:46enforced on me, I was rebelling against the sort of Conformity
- 1:07:49and and also I went to a very small town like Farm Town
- 1:07:53school. But I had moved there after
- 1:07:55growing up in like a city school and I immediately was already
- 1:07:59The Outsider to these. You know, kids that all grew up
- 1:08:02together and the teachers, you know, didn't take to me very
- 1:08:06well and so like, like when I say I got suspended a lot.
- 1:08:09I got suspended for defiance. I think 60 times just defies.
- 1:08:16Yeah. And that resulted in not just
- 1:08:19like I say 65 suspensions but they weren't one day
- 1:08:23suspensions. I literally came so close to not
- 1:08:28having enough attended days to graduate.
- 1:08:31I graduate, I got I graduated with a d-minus average and the
- 1:08:35bare minimum number of fucking days and when we went to
- 1:08:39graduation practice, my fucking principal was like, Hey you owe
- 1:08:43me a fucking 100 detentions. And and so I they served out
- 1:08:50like detentions all day when I was already out of school.
- 1:08:54So for me, I like the answer of like, how was I in high school?
- 1:08:58He's a little different. Wait, wait, wait, how did Did
- 1:09:02how the fuck did that work? Like you were already graduated
- 1:09:06and like, well, I did the graduation practice, but if I
- 1:09:10wanted to walk across the stage, which by the way, I didn't want
- 1:09:13to walk across the stage, I was forced to buy my family.
- 1:09:16I, I really hated the system. I really, really despised the
- 1:09:23school system at that point. Yeah.
- 1:09:25And so I didn't want to, but if I didn't walk across and get my
- 1:09:29diploma on, my parents were going to like murder Me.
- 1:09:31So I yeah what is after I had finished school Yeah.
- 1:09:40Serve them in the the in-school suspension room or whatever the
- 1:09:43fuck it was. So I just sat there all day and
- 1:09:46I played Grand Theft Auto two on the computer guys.
- 1:09:52Yeah. Yeah yeah.
- 1:09:54I'm not a good example as to what to do when high school.
- 1:09:57Is what I'm saying? No.
- 1:09:59Well, no. But I'm a great.
- 1:10:01I'm a great person to say that chant that trying to fight the
- 1:10:04system head on to no benefit for yourself, is a bad idea.
- 1:10:08Why can I say that? Because I did well, no and my
- 1:10:14my, my high school didn't who was like a big Who was actually
- 1:10:20a big Rush Limbaugh fan. Actually took me aside and was
- 1:10:23like, look, I get it. I agree with you but like you
- 1:10:28can't be acting up like, you know, you can't be just like
- 1:10:33starting, you know, arguments, just be edgy and we know the guy
- 1:10:38that was in charge of me, we didn't call it a dean and it's
- 1:10:40just a vice principal or whatever.
- 1:10:41I'm he retired because of me. He told me so and also had a
- 1:10:46heart attack and died shortly after I did.
- 1:10:49I did make him fucking crazy, but like, here's the thing is, I
- 1:10:53would do some shit that I knew I was going to get suspended for
- 1:10:55and I just walk into his office and I'd be like, sup, mr.
- 1:10:58G. You're gonna have to, you're
- 1:11:00gonna have to send me home. Now could fashion time on the
- 1:11:04build report backs and killed the guy by driving him and said,
- 1:11:09yeah, he will that happened. Kiwi Farms, threatened coming,
- 1:11:16Johnny Fox doesn't have a thread.
- 1:11:18I could never get wet. Well, speaking of you told me
- 1:11:26you you had you had something from from a friend and also
- 1:11:33insight into, you know, you're bringing back cringe coffee.
- 1:11:38I was for another Masterpiece so I do have that.
- 1:11:42But yeah, first and foremost. This is a thread from good
- 1:11:46friend. Dick molesters in on Twitter at
- 1:11:48dick. Molester.
- 1:11:49Sing. And if you don't get the
- 1:11:51reference, it's a reference to Dick Masterson, but dig molester
- 1:11:54since way better. He's way funnier.

- 1:12:14I'll just put it in the, The Guild chat here.
- 1:12:19Because yeah, it's nice to be able to follow along with stuff.
- 1:12:23Yeah. Chattin just so if I can drop a
- 1:12:26link in the rumble chat I'm going to if it doesn't let me

- 1:13:03Hold on, just a sec. I'm pulling it.
- 1:13:15Yeah, and I'm pretty sure it's accurate, you know, it seems
- 1:13:19accurate. Yeah.
- 1:13:26And you mentioned the cringe, since you're doing something,
- 1:13:29I'll take an aside. Here, you mention the cringe
- 1:13:32coffeehouse, I am coming back with a new episode on Odyssey,
- 1:13:36not on YouTube anymore because of their new policies or
- 1:13:40whatever. I'm pretty sure it violates
- 1:13:41them. Johnny fox has had a run of luck
- 1:13:45lately and we're just going to check back in and on our
- 1:13:49favorite. Oh, fraudster, you mean, you
- 1:13:53know, finally like I mean my uni you mean the old friend of the
- 1:13:59show? Johnny Fox is, you know, he's
- 1:14:02made it big now. Is that what you mean to tell
- 1:14:04me? Yeah, he made it big until he
- 1:14:07got completely banned off of YouTube and Twitter and that's
- 1:14:10what we're going to talk about. Where is Johnny Fox at now?
- 1:14:15What does he think? The right solution to this
- 1:14:17problem is and we'll take a look at that.
- 1:14:20It's either going to be tomorrow morning or Friday.
- 1:14:23Just follow me on Twitter if you're interested.
- 1:14:26I will certainly provide links or, you know, join our gilded
- 1:14:30server. Join Sam's.
- 1:14:31Gilded server. You know, there's a lot of ways
- 1:14:35you can find out what we're doing.
- 1:14:37Yeah, you got it up though. And so I can stop, this is
- 1:14:42panhandling for my show here. So, day in the life of David
- 1:14:47hog, a thread actually hold on, let me go up on screen here for
- 1:14:53this wake up. Check, phone to see if a new
- 1:14:57shooting happened. Wind about guns on Twitter,
- 1:15:00regardless of results. Sit down for breakfast.
- 1:15:03Remember the guns are still legal in lose appetite.
- 1:15:06Take Xanax to calm nerves. Check treat.
- 1:15:09See the people are disagreeing about guns in the replies.
- 1:15:12Get discouraged decide to go for a walk homeless.
- 1:15:15And approaches and ask for change instead explain to him
- 1:15:17how the Second Amendment is outdated and needs to be
- 1:15:19reconsidered. He wanders away confused.
- 1:15:23Go to that's that sounds pretty on the nose, go to class
- 1:15:30patiently, sit through teachers, lecture then raised hand and
- 1:15:33explain how today's lessons relate to why guns are bad and
- 1:15:36should be banned encouraged by how educated the other students
- 1:15:39are on gun laws. Decide to go to Starbucks for a
- 1:15:42celebratory Frappuccino. Over here people at Starbucks
- 1:15:46talking about the new John Wick movie, get a set because there's
- 1:15:50guns in it. Almost have panic attack, take
- 1:15:53more Xanax to alleviate it. Check tweet again, people still
- 1:15:57like guns, get discouraged, call federal agent.
- 1:16:01Father, complain that people still like, oh yeah, by the way,
- 1:16:05David Hogs. Father is a federal Agency for
- 1:16:07anybody that wasn't where, oh, no!
- 1:16:09Oh, no shit because earlier, I thought that was part of a joke,
- 1:16:13but shitting me, that's true. Yeah, he works for leg and
- 1:16:18intelligence agency. He used to work for the CIA.
- 1:16:21Wow. So okay, so David dave', dog
- 1:16:25literally is a Fed done something like it.
- 1:16:30Call Federation father complain that people still like guns.
- 1:16:34Tell him you are a sure a few more school shootings will do
- 1:16:37the trick. Father says we're working on it
- 1:16:40son. To real.
- 1:16:45It's too real. Go home for dinner and still, no
- 1:16:47appetite because guns are still legal choke down.
- 1:16:50A few Saltines, go to room and work on term paper.
- 1:16:54It's about guns. Proud of your progress.
- 1:16:57Check, tweet again. People are still disagreeing in
- 1:17:00mocking, your scrawny physique, audibly, sigh take Xanax and go
- 1:17:05to bed. Cry to sleep.
- 1:17:06Because guns have nightmares about guns, being legal wake up.
- 1:17:12Check, phone to see if new shooting happened.
- 1:17:14Repeat. So, there you go.
- 1:17:18That's a day in the life of David hog.
- 1:17:20Obviously, that's, he should do one of those Tick-Tock
- 1:17:23day-in-the-life videos and show that off, you know.
- 1:17:26Sure it would be really, yeah. Yeah, by the way, shout out to
- 1:17:31Dick mola dick, molester sin, funny, funny fucker on Twitter
- 1:17:39or as Apex game and I used to call him dick molest, her son.
- 1:17:48Oof. Yeah.
- 1:17:49But like that's you know it really is on the nose with this
- 1:17:54guy. Like it seems like his whole
- 1:17:55existence is just being mad. The guns are legal and well
- 1:17:59doesn't know why everybody finds that fucking hilarious?
- 1:18:02Well, and then and then he and then he he did.
- 1:18:05You see the cope the he did the other day where he was like,
- 1:18:09well, Where he wanted to shooting range and he's like,
- 1:18:13well, I actually like to shoot guns to or something like that.
- 1:18:19Yeah. And it's like, okay, fuck off.
- 1:18:23Nobody, nobody believes you. So Yeah, he's the worst guy to
- 1:18:32come out of Florida since the fucking since the the the
- 1:18:38fucking synthetic cannabis face eating bath.
- 1:18:41Salts zombie. Fuck you.
- 1:18:44That guy was pretty cool man. Well yeah at least that guy was
- 1:18:47kind of based, you know, it's my fucking Uncle Dude like eating a
- 1:18:52face because you took too many drugs he's based it's just not
- 1:18:56good. You know that that does explain
- 1:18:59a lot. He doesn't want to take your
- 1:19:01fucking right away. Yeah, exactly.
- 1:19:04He doesn't want us. That's why I say is the worst
- 1:19:06since then, right? Because at least the fucking
- 1:19:09face eating guy. He just wants to eat your face.
- 1:19:13Also, though, Max remember how last week I was saying that, you
- 1:19:18know, we shouldn't give School shooters, attend attention, or
- 1:19:24mass Shooters attention, because that's what they want.
- 1:19:27Yeah. Yeah, David hog is the living
- 1:19:30embodiment of that? Well, I found a clip from my
- 1:19:35show five years ago. In case and he's made it doubts
- 1:19:41that my stance on, you know, mass shootings has changed.
- 1:19:46It has I've been saying this shit for years at this point.
- 1:19:53So Yeah, it's obvious. That at least there's some level
- 1:19:59of, like, it was, like, I mentioned, Aesthetics that a
- 1:20:02certain type of disturbed depressed, or otherwise like
- 1:20:07malcontent, young person would latch on to Columbine being the
- 1:20:11best example, because that those Aesthetics are still popular
- 1:20:14with those kind of people. It's it's the edge Lord school
- 1:20:20shooter aesthetic that it just does because they're trying to
- 1:20:24present themselves as being powerful and scary.
- 1:20:28Right? That's where the whole aesthetic
- 1:20:30stems from. And dear God, you're looking
- 1:20:33young In that clip. Holy shit, click play.
- 1:20:35This is great indeed. Yeah, I don't think you and
- 1:20:38shmoo have seen this one. So Because I was thinking about
- 1:20:43something else today. I wish.
- 1:20:47Okay. So for context, this was like a
- 1:20:51few days after the, the Marjorie, you know, the Douglas
- 1:20:56Stone men, shooting happened? Well, I just want to point out.
- 1:21:01Look at the little baby sideburns, huh?
- 1:21:04Yeah, almost been a while. Also, I had a bench behind me
- 1:21:12and yeah. so, That we could do that with all these shootings
- 1:21:21too. Because I was thinking about
- 1:21:25something else today. If you could pump the volume up,
- 1:21:29just a tad. Yeah,
- 1:21:43and all this talk, and all these marches for a wife and hashtag,
- 1:21:53you know, band the second limit or hashtag, never again, what if
- 1:21:58we just ignored The Parkland shooting.
- 1:22:04What if we just let it roll off our back and say yeah, the guy
- 1:22:08was crazy, he should have shot up a school, this is tragic.
- 1:22:16What's move on? okay, I'm not being disingenuous
- 1:22:22and saying that the fact that kids were killed That is
- 1:22:29satellite light, isn't anyone? And I've said that from the
- 1:22:31beginning. I'm not being disingenuous year
- 1:22:34obviously. That's a tragedy.
- 1:22:36What a brave, take you made Sam. accomplished X, or if I'm not
- 1:23:02happy because of If I'm not getting noticed because of x y z
- 1:23:09or whatever, the factor I'm going to go then shoot up a
- 1:23:13school or whatever and then I'll get recognition that people know
- 1:23:19my name that so they do that and then a lot of the time, the vast
- 1:23:24majority of the time. The meeting does exactly what
- 1:23:29they want them to. They get the event gets
- 1:23:34publicized. And turn into this.
- 1:23:40Great, big huge. Smorgasbord I guess is the best
- 1:23:47way of putting it. I was trying to search for a
- 1:23:51word there. Yes Stephanie you're right.
- 1:23:54It's absolutely a me-me-me culture in the extreme.
- 1:24:00Right. That's what a lot of these.
- 1:24:04Shooters want? And the meeting, the meeting
- 1:24:07gives it to them. It gets even worse.
- 1:24:09Because then we also have people like David Hogg, I had to bring
- 1:24:16him up. Again I said I wasn't going to
- 1:24:19bring them up in. Yeah, I did but you know, we get
- 1:24:23people who become public figures after and this was one David
- 1:24:28Hogg was still like I knew it was still the new, the new kid
- 1:24:31on the Block, so to speak and I was even annoyed by him. the
- 1:24:38fact to and get famous off of that hog is one of them granted
- 1:24:43Kyle Clash of who I like he's also another example, although
- 1:24:47Kyle seems to be a less willing of a public figure But if we
- 1:24:54just acknowledged that these shootings were horrible and then
- 1:24:59just kind of moved on and starved, the shooter of the
- 1:25:04attention that they want, then I think we would be a lot better.
- 1:25:09And yeah, that's basically been my opinion on, you know, mass
- 1:25:18shootings for the past decade, God, whoever that guy is, I He
- 1:25:23doesn't copy claiming us. Well that guy you know that
- 1:25:30guy's show isn't isn't on YouTube anymore.
- 1:25:35So yeah well it's really wise takes like that I would imagine
- 1:25:41you know. Yeah but but yeah Yeah, but I
- 1:25:50think, I think what we're saying, if we want to sum it up,
- 1:25:52some succinctly is David Hogg, is part of the problem in.
- 1:25:56Fuck them. Yeah, big-time and and also that
- 1:26:03clip there, I love. So daimyo who you who's been a,
- 1:26:11you know, my bio. I believe the proper term is the
- 1:26:14Spurgeon summer. I go on.
- 1:26:17Yeah, this verdict. So I would he made is
- 1:26:20mockumentary about me. He took that clip and he cut off
- 1:26:26the part where Why? Where I said that, you know, the
- 1:26:30shooting was tragic and he made it look like I was endorsing,
- 1:26:34you know, this like the shooting actually happened, and, of
- 1:26:38course, but he did such a bad job.
- 1:26:41Editing it, like, people knew immediately, what I was, you
- 1:26:46know, what? I was talking about.
- 1:26:48So, but yeah, that's the funny thing is, we've done that exact
- 1:26:52bit to people before, you know, just, just shout out to her
- 1:26:57friend, this verdict Samurai. Or not original at all.
- 1:26:59But um, We've done shit like that.
- 1:27:04Particularly the R-rated conservative, we got him.
- 1:27:08He said some really like wild shit and we spliced in a word
- 1:27:14that made it sound like he called black people uppity, but
- 1:27:17he thought when he played it back he plays it back with this
- 1:27:20confident face and he's like, she's see what I mean.
- 1:27:23They edited it in there, but if you listen to the rest of what
- 1:27:26he said without the edit, he's literally saying black people
- 1:27:30deserved So yeah and use deserved the Holocaust because
- 1:27:35they didn't fight back hard enough.
- 1:27:37I he literally said that. Yeah yeah no.
- 1:27:42Yeah we do we played we played those clips that you we play
- 1:27:48those clips last week on the show.
- 1:27:51Yeah, it's not out to the are targeted.
- 1:27:55Conservative, by the way. I hope he comes back soon.
- 1:27:57What know what's funny about? What's funny about the are about
- 1:28:01the hard-hearted conservative is like, like I said, I'm, I've
- 1:28:05honestly surprised that I never ran into you and shmoly earlier,
- 1:28:09because when I, when I used to listen to show, like At first, I
- 1:28:17thought he was at first, I thought he was like an okay guy.
- 1:28:23But once I realized that he was a cute hard, I actually called
- 1:28:27into like, you know, question him and I wish I had the auto
- 1:28:32because just by me questioning is hewn, on conspiracy theories.
- 1:28:39Not only was I, you know, not an idiot, Not only was an idiot,
- 1:28:43but I was also, I'll have some has been a CIA plant because I
- 1:28:48was, I was right questioning, you know, right?
- 1:28:52Yeah, he's he's deep in that shit.
- 1:28:54But he's also not very smart. And the interesting thing about
- 1:28:58the The are targeted, conservative for your audience,
- 1:29:00who has never heard of him because nobody else has either.
- 1:29:03He, he talks with a Boston accent and yells a lot.
- 1:29:07Now, the interesting thing about the Boston accent is I know for
- 1:29:11a fact that this guy grew up in the next town over from me.
- 1:29:16Nobody here, talks like that, they talk like me.
- 1:29:19So he's, I know guys like that, though.
- 1:29:22They put on the Boston accent to make themselves seem like a
- 1:29:26unique person in this area as well as.
- 1:29:28Is like a tough-guy persona. And yeah.
- 1:29:34I really I love the R-rated conservative though because he
- 1:29:38made shmuly bigger than life, with his attacks because all she
- 1:29:43really said, so we find this guy and he was talking to a guest
- 1:29:47and the guest was a woman. And she kept talking about that.
- 1:29:50Her dad was an FBI agent and it was really boring.
- 1:29:55And so she will lie in chat. Just says, this is boring the or
- 1:30:00the guest is boring debate me instead but he spelled it.
- 1:30:03D /. B8, well-being?
- 1:30:07Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:30:08My initial was just used to have me on instead.
- 1:30:11Yeah. Which is a funny joke from chat.
- 1:30:14This is what people don't get like that's just it.
- 1:30:18Look, if you see somebody in your chat and you feel inclined
- 1:30:22to respond to them in an angry way.
- 1:30:26You're already halfway to low caste?
- 1:30:29Yeah, yeah. Just ignore it.
- 1:30:33Or make make a joke about it but like he couldn't.
- 1:30:36He's like, yeah. You gonna call my guest boring.
- 1:30:39Nah that's not how we do it over here.
- 1:30:41You disrespected. My guest.
- 1:30:43How dare you, you guys is band and we just like dying laughing.
- 1:30:47You can disrespect me, dude? Yes, you can't disrespect my
- 1:30:52guest. Which once again, I mean for
- 1:30:57context, we jumped in and she was talking about her dad.
- 1:31:01Yeah, I said that her dad is an FBI agent and she said that like
- 1:31:0430 fucking times the five minutes.
- 1:31:07Yeah. I don't know who she was.
- 1:31:09Don't don't remember, don't care.
- 1:31:11It wasn't even like we weren't even really like serious about
- 1:31:15anything, but soon as he got serious.
- 1:31:19Like we just really enjoy the game and so if you want to play
- 1:31:23I'll tell you what. If you see me and shmuly up in
- 1:31:26your chat and we're saying something to trigger you if you
- 1:31:30fucking fall for it. Now you've been warned.
- 1:31:34Well, well, it's so it's like after I after I had the, after I
- 1:31:41did, the did, the did the vicious Vickers interview was
- 1:31:45like, like, last year, I had a bunch of trolls, like a bunch of
- 1:31:51his, a loggs, come into my chat and like, and like, harass me or
- 1:31:56try to. I had a guest on, like the week
- 1:32:00after Vickers, who You know, Granite is an older guy.
- 1:32:05His name is just another red shirt and he's a Star Trek guy
- 1:32:10and then that's a funny name. Yeah, actually.
- 1:32:14And yeah. It's a, it's a but like they
- 1:32:17were a locking and because he actually looks like, he could be
- 1:32:20mr. Vickers dad.
- 1:32:22And so they were eight. They were kind of like a lock
- 1:32:25and me and I was like in trying to be assholes and I'm like, I'm
- 1:32:30like oh well I'm in all I said was Well, I'm jeez, I'm sorry
- 1:32:37that you guys missed the miss the vicious Vickers interview.
- 1:32:41You guys should come back in and out, you know, six months, when
- 1:32:46I have mine next or something or something like like that.
- 1:32:52But in the meantime, you're welcome to stay, you know, and
- 1:32:56learn about track and they were like, they left after a while
- 1:32:59because they were like, this is boring.
- 1:33:02Well, the thing is, as in, I'm not going to say everyone on
- 1:33:05kiwi Farms or anybody in particular, but I find that the
- 1:33:09the trolls I see are really lacking compared to like the
- 1:33:13creativity in kind of fun that we've always brought to it.
- 1:33:20If you look and you really have to look, you can find probably
- 1:33:25like hundreds of hours of me and shmuly fucking with people on
- 1:33:28random live streams on YouTube, like hundreds of hours like we
- 1:33:33just jump into people's lives streams and take it over and and
- 1:33:38are able to like orchestrate whatever we want to happen and
- 1:33:42make it really fun and funny. And you don't do that by like
- 1:33:46the the way I see trolls act now is they Then they just say the
- 1:33:50thing. Oh you're you're fucking this
- 1:33:55guy. Looks like he might be crippled
- 1:33:57they get because I saw them say that I had on kiwi Farms about
- 1:34:00you and you went on the vicar stream and all I could think is
- 1:34:02like oh wow, you think motherfucker you're a goddamn
- 1:34:06genius, aren't you? The well then yeah, well the the
- 1:34:11other thing that they they've tried to do is what like, with
- 1:34:15my show. Oh, this show is boring and it's
- 1:34:18like, Okay, well then what? And I don't address them but my
- 1:34:23whole thing is look, if you think the show is boring.
- 1:34:28That's either dunno. Either tell, either telling what
- 1:34:34I could do, you know, to make it was for like give me an actual
- 1:34:38like critique or tune out. No one's forcing you to be here.
- 1:34:45But like if you're just going to expand the shows boring.
- 1:34:48Well then you know like you can stand all day but I'm not gonna
- 1:34:53I'm not gonna like just stop my show because I wrote it.
- 1:34:57Tip we're enjoying ourselves so it doesn't matter if you find it
- 1:35:02boring. Yeah.
- 1:35:04See because because like this is why we latched on to Sam
- 1:35:07immediately and became friends and fucking wanted to help him
- 1:35:10out because much like us. He's not trying to shill and
- 1:35:15turn this into like a fucking cottage industry.
- 1:35:18If it happens, if he can make money off it, he's not opposed
- 1:35:21to it and I'm the same way, but we're in it for different
- 1:35:25reasons. We're in it because we enjoy
- 1:35:26broadcasting. Oh yeah.
- 1:35:28I mean so you saying its boring isn't actually going to fucking
- 1:35:32change anything and if you don't make a criticism that we could
- 1:35:35act upon but that's the thing, if you remember the first night,
- 1:35:38I came on your show as a producer chat was telling me
- 1:35:44that they had problems with the show.
- 1:35:46The fun part is that I was able to say.
- 1:35:49We'll look, there's problems in the last couple of months
- 1:35:52because of personal stuff that's been going on in a changing
- 1:35:56cast. So to speak, right?
- 1:35:59But what are we going to focus on?
- 1:36:02And I told them, I said, we're going to have interesting guests
- 1:36:04and have interesting conversations like the one where
- 1:36:06hat, because that was during the Craig show.
- 1:36:09So it's like like this one, we're having.
- 1:36:11Now, we're going to do more of this and he was like, oh yeah.
- 1:36:14That's exactly what I was saying, actually.
- 1:36:17Yeah. So if you have constructive
- 1:36:20criticism for us, we don't by all means, but don't expect us
- 1:36:24to fucking act on it necessarily.
- 1:36:27Right. Yeah.
- 1:36:31Well I mean the other thing too is like even though we are, do
- 1:36:38you like live streams? I still I, you know, this is
- 1:36:41basically just like a live podcast and you know like a lot
- 1:36:47of podcast I used to do this show.
- 1:36:50Just sitting and room by myself talking to a computer and then
- 1:36:54uploading it to the internet, you know, and reading the
- 1:36:59comments afterwards. Words that way and as I've been
- 1:37:03as I've been digging into your older stuff, it turns out that
- 1:37:08you've had periods where you get lots of viewers and you have
- 1:37:10periods where there's not so many and you're pretty
- 1:37:13consistent throughout it all. Yeah, well and that's that's the
- 1:37:17other thing too. It regards to the whole like one
- 1:37:20thing I've noticed about Johnny Fox and I can cover this on like
- 1:37:25cringing over coffee. But the thing I've noticed about
- 1:37:28Johnny Fox is that like He's always Trot.
- 1:37:32He's always trying to do what he thinks will make him big, right?
- 1:37:37As opposed to just You know, like when I talk to me, he
- 1:37:42doesn't actually seem to know what he wants to do other than
- 1:37:45just get famous. Well, he something happened to
- 1:37:50his website. I don't know what because it's
- 1:37:53now browsers, just tell me it's insecure in that they won't let
- 1:37:56me access it. So, I don't know if it's down or
- 1:37:58whatever. But he wrote about that kind of
- 1:38:00stuff on his blog to. And the funny thing is, what
- 1:38:04Johnny really wants to do is play video games on Twitch, and
- 1:38:08get donations. Right?
- 1:38:10But the problem is, is he keeps. He's so upset obsessed with
- 1:38:14brand and this is going to come up in the cringing over coffee
- 1:38:17thing, because he talks about it, but he doesn't understand
- 1:38:20that he is a person and everybody knows he, you know, he
- 1:38:23is Falco punch. He is Jack Pierce and he is
- 1:38:26Johnny Fox. It's not a brand that's separate
- 1:38:29from each other but he doesn't get that.
- 1:38:33And he thinks if he just deletes one thing he can Rebrand and
- 1:38:36then be a different thing. It's it's not even just That I
- 1:38:40talk with my mom about this last night.
- 1:38:43Oh no, it's not just that you are correct.
- 1:38:45But that's like one thing Amo, many, the problem.
- 1:38:48The problem is right because I was actually so on Thursdays.
- 1:38:55I actually have there's a group of guys, we all me, and we play
- 1:38:59video games like together in person, like old-school
- 1:39:04multi-player, like one of the guys brings his old PlayStation
- 1:39:072 were an old Xbox Ox and we can play like old video games and
- 1:39:12just you know, do with that way there you have a little chat.
- 1:39:16Sam is a member of a secret society of Gamers.
- 1:39:19Yes we meet we meet on Thursdays as long as you can bring shit as
- 1:39:25long as being chips or something you too can join but no one of
- 1:39:30them was like Sam you should start doing like game string or
- 1:39:33something. And I told him I'm like well I
- 1:39:36could but the thing is is like you To gaming.
- 1:39:41I feel like that industry has already been saturated.
- 1:39:44I don't feel like I would be adding anything else that, you
- 1:39:47know, to like the game to like the let's play.
- 1:39:52Spend my struggle with my gaming channel, which is my most
- 1:39:56successful YouTube channel admittedly but not necessarily,
- 1:40:00because of the gaming I used to do politic content on there and
- 1:40:04a lot of those videos did actually pretty well.
- 1:40:06But the gaming stuff, you know, I had a couple When L didn't
- 1:40:10ring came out. I had some guides that did
- 1:40:12really well. My review did.
- 1:40:13Okay. And the thing is, I know I'm
- 1:40:16never going to fucking be the next to whoever big game
- 1:40:20streamer is. But like, why do I, why do I
- 1:40:24then make content on YouTube? You might ask like you said,
- 1:40:27what could you add to it? Well I have a different take on
- 1:40:30a lot of gaming related stuff than a lot of Gamers and it
- 1:40:33gives me a lot of fucking push back, particularly the you
- 1:40:37remember. Last year I think It was the
- 1:40:40Activision Blizzard lawsuit. Yeah.
- 1:40:43Oh yeah, I remember I remember that.
- 1:40:45And everybody just assumed, you know, the oh this must be 100%
- 1:40:48true and all look at blizzard, it's full of like rapists and
- 1:40:53and sexual deviance or whatever. But like if you if you a look at
- 1:40:57the case which was thrown out by for an Ethics complaint, be the
- 1:41:02people filing it was literally the Phoenix project and if you
- 1:41:05don't know who the Phoenix project is hashtag me, too,
- 1:41:09That's their thing, right? So it was a lawyer's from the
- 1:41:12Phoenix project who have a vested interest in a grievance
- 1:41:15culture and workplace harassment and all this fucking shit and
- 1:41:20they filed these charges in California but they were
- 1:41:24actually originally working on a federal investigation.
- 1:41:27But the FED said, no, we can't take up this case.
- 1:41:30California said, we will take up this case, but then it still got
- 1:41:34thrown out completely, just so everybody knows.
- 1:41:38No there. Not.
- 1:41:40There was a there was some I will say unprofessional behavior
- 1:41:44and in particular, what I what I don't like is that they had a
- 1:41:47culture of drinking on the job, not a big fan of that especially
- 1:41:51when it leads to all these like rumors and negative things.
- 1:41:56But this concept that oh, they had a Bill Cosby rape room,
- 1:42:01remember that? Yeah, it's just not true, right?
- 1:42:05A lot of the things in that lawsuit are just not true but
- 1:42:08because it leans in to that left wing narrative, the media, loved
- 1:42:11it and Gamers, guess what, guess what gamergaters you have become
- 1:42:17the left and you don't even fucking know it.
- 1:42:20You don't even get it. You you fucking idiots are like,
- 1:42:2300 games. Charging money should be free.
- 1:42:27Jim Sterling said, so, yeah, Jim Sterling is a communist, right?
- 1:42:33Sorry, and a trainee at that. Well, I mean Stephanie, his name
- 1:42:38is now Stephanie Well and an8 hex night talking at this like
- 1:42:46years ago that like it's not just in the gaming industry but
- 1:42:50like if you liked it like Google or Facebook or like a lot of
- 1:42:55these companies you can just like you could you can do things
- 1:42:59like drink on the job. Like, you know, like go to go to
- 1:43:05the cafeteria randomly and just getting yogurt.
- 1:43:07Like you can do shit at these jobs.
- 1:43:10Like you can't do at like any other normal right job but I
- 1:43:15only see see the consequences if everybody they had like Friday's
- 1:43:19where they would get drunk and they did what they called a day.
- 1:43:22That this is a real one and this.
- 1:43:24Yeah, people should be reprimanded for this.
- 1:43:26I think because it's a business, it's a workplace.
- 1:43:28But they would have Friday's where they would all get
- 1:43:30shit-faced and then crawl under each other's desks.
- 1:43:33And of course, some of the women said later on that that that
- 1:43:37made them uncomfortable, the guys were crawling around there
- 1:43:40fucking I can actually understand that but there's not
- 1:43:43one claim in any of that that there was any groping or
- 1:43:46anything like that. It was just it made them a
- 1:43:47little uncomfortable and you know, I'm not a woman.
- 1:43:51I'm also not a big-time Drinker and I'll tell you this Friday
- 1:43:56get drunk and crawl under the desks day would make me very
- 1:43:59uncomfortable to. Yeah.
- 1:44:01Well not just that but like and I don't know if this is true but
- 1:44:05there's been a rumor. There's been a, there's been a
- 1:44:09long-standing room. Rumor that like that on Fridays,
- 1:44:15the Google Engineers it get drunk and they do like drunk
- 1:44:20coding contest which on the surface kind of sounds
- 1:44:26hilarious, but it's like, also, do you want to be coding when
- 1:44:31you're shit-faced? Like, is that really good idea
- 1:44:34to be like if you're a fucking Google engineer and your
- 1:44:39products already have enough problems and bugs as it is, this
- 1:44:44kind of shit is why we're seeing so much infrastructure.
- 1:44:47Fall apart though. It's a it's a live
- 1:44:50professionalism across our entire Society so that I will
- 1:44:54point to as yeah. Blizzard that that's fucked up.
- 1:44:57They should fucking fix that. They shouldn't be having drunken
- 1:45:00fucking cubicle crawls or whatever the fuck, right?
- 1:45:03That's, that's really dumb and it's To have bad outcomes, but
- 1:45:09all the other shit. Yeah, I still see people today,
- 1:45:11including people like who are somewhat?
- 1:45:14Well, informed on a lot of things like asman.
- 1:45:15Gold was one of the biggest twitch streamers in the world
- 1:45:19and all they do is gree gurjit. 8.
- 1:45:21That all microtransactions are bad and all monetary systems of
- 1:45:26gaming are bad and basically, the Jim Sterling position that
- 1:45:29all games should be free. Not just the box price but free
- 1:45:34and why does he think that? Because he's a Communists a
- 1:45:37literal Communists. Yeah, well here, well, here's by
- 1:45:41the same people that were on about gamergate.
- 1:45:43The same people that, you know, wanted to get rid of this
- 1:45:47left-wing fucking infestation in their hobby.
- 1:45:49Are the same people saying oh, crunch culture is evil and, you
- 1:45:56know, microtransactions bad and these companies make too much
- 1:46:00money and all this shit. They've taken on these people
- 1:46:03that used to be the culture Warriors against the Often
- 1:46:06gaming are now and they don't even realize it part of the same
- 1:46:11unethical games journalism that they railed against well.
- 1:46:15It's just like it's just like Peter Townsend.
- 1:46:19Sad meet the meet the new boss. Same as the old boss right on
- 1:46:25man, and that's what it is. And I'm so my my takes on gaming
- 1:46:30like that. I remember, I think it was on
- 1:46:32here where I argued with a key before like an hour about, okay.
- 1:46:36Umm, yeah, my Mi take on microtransactions.
- 1:46:42My problem with them is That a there.
- 1:46:49A lot of them are a lot of them are scams, but be like this
- 1:46:55whole thing with DLC, a lot of it is in recent years, I always
- 1:47:01has been, hey, we didn't actually finish the game or fix
- 1:47:05everything properly. So let's just do that shit as
- 1:47:09DLC and, you know, I hear that a lot, but I can, I can point to
- 1:47:15examples of the exact Opposite of that.
- 1:47:17Right? No man's Sky.
- 1:47:19They've never charged an extra dime for their game.
- 1:47:22And they've been working on it for what, like seven years or
- 1:47:24something like that. And that's after it long.
- 1:47:26Yeah. Another one is Fallout 76.
- 1:47:29Yes, I get the memes. I understand everybody thinks
- 1:47:31it's a bad game. It was a bad game.
- 1:47:34It's an okay game now. And they didn't charge extra
- 1:47:37money for it. They do have like a subscription
- 1:47:40thing and they have like, cosmetic items you could buy or
- 1:47:43whatever like most of these things but man if Look Jim.
- 1:47:47Sterling whole thing about that is like, oh well, I have a
- 1:47:50propensity to addiction and so that, you know, I'm basically
- 1:47:54forced to buy it. No, you're not right.
- 1:47:57You have a, you have a personal flaw that you want Society to
- 1:48:00adapt for. You want what the, the entirety
- 1:48:03of society to adapt because you can't help buying a fucking pink
- 1:48:08outfit in a video game. Wait.
- 1:48:10So is so this is this is different that this guy is a
- 1:48:16complete. Really different from fucking
- 1:48:18Dark Side, fill then, huh, DSP? Oh yeah, yeah, Jim Sterling, is
- 1:48:23the worst actually did Jim Sterling got famous by actually
- 1:48:27being a consumer advocate for gamers but then he went like
- 1:48:32when TotalBiscuit died, they were they were somewhat close.
- 1:48:35He just decided he was like a full left-wing.
- 1:48:38He went trans. He actively endorses communism
- 1:48:42in his videos lambaste, capitalism, and all these little
- 1:48:46gamers. Those that think they're right
- 1:48:47wing, regurgitate his talking points.
- 1:48:50And never once critically, look at the monetization of video
- 1:48:54games, because if you really look at it, I know you say it's
- 1:48:56a scam in the game might not be finished and so you got to buy
- 1:48:59this 20 dollar DLC. Right?
- 1:49:01That sounds like a scam, doesn't it?
- 1:49:04But think about this, what was the retail price of a video game
- 1:49:09in 1983? Do you know Probably like
- 1:49:13probably like a hundred dollars some or something like that
- 1:49:18fifth. But for a game, not a console
- 1:49:20was about $50. Yeah.
- 1:49:23There is only been one price increase in video games since
- 1:49:26the 80s, think about any other industry.
- 1:49:28That that would be true of I'll wait because you won't come up
- 1:49:33with one. They and, and on top of that,
- 1:49:36the cost of making these games has skyrocketed exponentially.
- 1:49:40Oh yeah. And that is, you could just say,
- 1:49:43oh well, they don't have to blow a bubble.
- 1:49:44Yes, they do because look at what happened with cyberpunk
- 1:49:48cyberpunk is a technically, you know, beautiful game graphically
- 1:49:53is a pretty okay game. In terms of like it open shooter
- 1:49:58RPG like that. Obviously launched on Finished
- 1:50:01as you pointed out again. Another example, they didn't
- 1:50:04charge any more money and they fix the game.
- 1:50:06Yeah. Which had which I've always
- 1:50:08given them credit for but what was the when it launched?
- 1:50:12Even though I had some bugs, right?
- 1:50:14When it launched everybody acted like it was a 1 out of 10 the
- 1:50:18worst game that's ever fucking been made.
- 1:50:20That will ya that people react to it.
- 1:50:22So they have to spend that kind of money because they have to
- 1:50:25appease these fucking people. Well okay so my here's my take
- 1:50:31on Cyberpunk, right? And I explained this to acma,
- 1:50:35right? The, the big selling point for
- 1:50:39the norm is was holy shit Keanu. Reeves isn't a fucking video
- 1:50:47game, and this is the Keanu Reeves, and it runs look at it.
- 1:50:51It looks like him because the graphics are impressive and, and
- 1:50:55they are right, but there was, there was so much.
- 1:50:59There was so much writing. The hype train was so.
- 1:51:05The hype train was so hyped. I guess that when it was the
- 1:51:11biggest hype train I've ever seen for a game for sure.
- 1:51:13Yeah that when That when the game didn't meet the hype
- 1:51:19instead of saying oh there's some problems.
- 1:51:21People like this didn't match the hype.
- 1:51:24So therefore it's fucking shit. Fuck this game fuck CDP.
- 1:51:29Are you know think about this? This is what I'm getting into.
- 1:51:34They have to spend that kind of money to create.
- 1:51:36And in think about it it fell short in some areas and they've
- 1:51:40acted like it's the right time ever that.
- 1:51:43Yeah, these companies have to spend 500.
- 1:51:45To meet games, they do. Like there's no choice and I'm a
- 1:51:50big indie game guy, like that's most of what I play, right?
- 1:51:54That's why I got my stick. My steam deck here is like
- 1:51:57entirely fucking indie games on it right now.
- 1:52:01How many indie games on Steam or even if you include switch or
- 1:52:05fucking the console's? How many Indie Games?
- 1:52:07Sell nine. 10 million copies. None zero.
- 1:52:17I actually did think of one but it might not be 9 or 10 million.
- 1:52:22It's not going to be even close. They might be like a lot of them
- 1:52:24will sell one or two million. Well okay like back in the day
- 1:52:30remedy like Max Payne back in the day was considered that's
- 1:52:34not an indie game. No that's a Triple H remedies a
- 1:52:37triple a studio. They were funded by Microsoft
- 1:52:40even back then. Oh you could you could call it
- 1:52:43double A because they didn't get the the hi.
- 1:52:46Spudgy in the world, but that's not an indie game in the Indie
- 1:52:49Games. Generally don't have a
- 1:52:50publisher, that's how you distinguish them, okay?
- 1:52:54God should because because, yeah, I mean, well, I will,
- 1:52:58because I remember reading that, like, Max Payne, like a lot of
- 1:53:01Studios didn't even want the fucking original.
- 1:53:05Ya know, like, like they got turned down all over the place
- 1:53:08but Microsoft in the end did get foot the bill so that they could
- 1:53:12get to launch and then the game was amazing and obviously Max
- 1:53:15paying to is even better, but the point being I don't think
- 1:53:19Max Payne, sold nine or 10 million either that this grass
- 1:53:22is a new phenomenon. You know, you're in the GTA 5 +
- 1:53:26e ra for nine or ten million and a double a game.
- 1:53:31Same thing I'm thinking of double A games, by the way, I
- 1:53:35would classify as something. There is a publisher but it's
- 1:53:39not, they're not given the budget of like cyberpunk a
- 1:53:45perfect example. Is THQ Nordic makes nothing but
- 1:53:49double A games and they're very good but they don't sell 10
- 1:53:53million copies, right? And that's that's what people
- 1:53:56beat the game. Companies are looking for
- 1:53:59Hogwarts Legacy to Celtic. By the way, did sell 10 million
- 1:54:02copies. They're jealous of Elden ring.
- 1:54:05All these Western developers because it sold like 20 million
- 1:54:08copies and and it goes against a lot of Western design
- 1:54:14sensibilities with like a minimal East HUD and all the
- 1:54:16shit and they didn't like it. But at the end of the day, they
- 1:54:21need to spend 500 million dollars to make the game that
- 1:54:24sells 10 20 million copies because that's what's demanded
- 1:54:29of them. Not only by Gamers but by
- 1:54:31shareholders as well. And so with that in mind that
- 1:54:35they have to spend these exorbitant sums of money.
- 1:54:39And then also with in mind, that they've only increased the price
- 1:54:42of games, once over the course of 50 years, you can go back to
- 1:54:47the 70s and find that, you know, pong in Space Invaders would
- 1:54:52have been $50 on your Atari, right?
- 1:54:55So yeah, how are these companies going to offset the fucking.
- 1:54:59They can't even sell enough company because copies to offset
- 1:55:02that cost. You know they're making I think
- 1:55:05I think the average I like a publisher makes After marketing,
- 1:55:10after running them of the actual profit is like 5%.
- 1:55:16But you know what? They make a real profit margin
- 1:55:18on Post Release content, AKA DLC and microtransactions and that
- 1:55:24if you don't want games to cost you a hundred and twenty
- 1:55:28dollars, then you will accept this system, you there is no
- 1:55:32alternative. That's this is the system that
- 1:55:35we're in. So unfortunately, you're either
- 1:55:38going to have to accept. The games have microtransactions
- 1:55:40or you say, you know what, I don't want any
- 1:55:42microtransactions, I want to pay $150 per game.
- 1:55:47Well, they're well, there you go.
- 1:55:49That's, that's a good way of looking at it.
- 1:55:52Yeah, I'm not. I'm not like saying it's the
- 1:55:55greatest thing ever. Oh, in some cases DLC and
- 1:55:59expansions are amazing and in other cases, oh yeah, it's an
- 1:56:03absolute scam. Oh yeah, no, I and I'm not
- 1:56:08saying that DLC and microtransactions can't be good.
- 1:56:12I think, I think what a lot of, I think, what a lot of people
- 1:56:16that I At least I'm friends with their criticism is a lot of game
- 1:56:21developers. It seems use DLC and
- 1:56:25microtransactions as a crutch. Yeah.
- 1:56:29And the reason that they do makes a lot of sense, let's say,
- 1:56:34okay, we have this extra area. It could easily be It's not even
- 1:56:39cut from the game necessarily like cases.
- 1:56:42You can easily be repurposed as DLC later in.
- 1:56:45So let's put that area on the back burner finish, the rest of
- 1:56:49the game, then come back and work on that.
- 1:56:51And people act like that's them, cutting off part of the fucking
- 1:56:54game, but they actually work on it.
- 1:56:57Post-release 90% of the or post the game going, gold in the
- 1:57:01games, already set in stone. What is going to be?
- 1:57:03They start working on the DLC. That's most of it.
- 1:57:08Cases. Now there have been cases where
- 1:57:09they just literally had shit on the disk or whatever.
- 1:57:13That. That's a console gamer problem
- 1:57:15more often than not though. Yeah, I haven't had a disc of a
- 1:57:20game for my PC since like 2007. Oh wow.
- 1:57:26I was an early adopter of steam and digital distribution and I'm
- 1:57:30still a big fan of it actually. Yeah.
- 1:57:34Well no. I like its It's like, it's
- 1:57:40really nice. Just be able to download games
- 1:57:44directly to, you know, to my I console, I got my kid, I got my
- 1:57:50kid, the, the series X, right? And his grandmother bought him a
- 1:57:56bunch of actual disks over Christmas and his birthday and
- 1:57:59stuff. I fucking hate the games that I
- 1:58:02only have on disk because you have to find the right disk and
- 1:58:06switch it out. And I'm like well I wish I could
- 1:58:08just in You still have to download the game though.
- 1:58:13You still have to install and download the fucking game and
- 1:58:15Patch it and everything. But you also have to put the
- 1:58:18disc in, like, God damn it. Yeah, no, no.
- 1:58:21That, that's, that's why I found actually was, I bought, like, I
- 1:58:28bought like, the Insomniac Spider-Man game and I put the
- 1:58:31disc in and it was still like, installing and yeah.
- 1:58:36And it's like, what and granted, like, I missed out on the pier
- 1:58:41like I jumped from the PS3 to the PS5, I missed out what I
- 1:58:47kind of missed out on the on the beginning of like the digital
- 1:58:51download for games but like you know now I'm into I like it.
- 1:58:59Well in my point about like the criticisms I just made of the
- 1:59:03AAA industry is like if you're a gamer listening to me right now,
- 1:59:08If you're not into Indie Games, if you're not into double A
- 1:59:11games like THQ Nordic, you're a probably giving money because
- 1:59:16you're listening to us, you're probably giving money to people
- 1:59:18to hate you politically and then be right.
- 1:59:22You're the games that you're looking for, tend to be those
- 1:59:26indie games and triple-double a games.
- 1:59:28Why? Because most of the time you
- 1:59:30just buy it and that's all that there is Yeah.
- 1:59:35Well, they well like sometimes though to I think I think that's
- 1:59:42on is Gamers and just critics in general.
- 1:59:46They tend to like They tend to kind of Nag on something because
- 1:59:53of like-minded detailed, right. Like like a perfect example.
- 1:59:58Is Ghost of tsushima, right? Ghost ghost of tsushima is like
- 2:00:05it's a good gay. I don't know if you've played it
- 2:00:09but I've not owned a PlayStation since PSP, so no.
- 2:00:14Okay. Well, I mean, the premise is
- 2:00:16that your is that you're basically like a samurai.
- 2:00:20Turn a ninja in, like I'm familiar with what it looks
- 2:00:24like. It looks like a fun little like
- 2:00:26almost Assassin's Creed e, kind of open world game.
- 2:00:29It looks good. It's it's like it's a better
- 2:00:33version of Assassin's Creed. What me what?
- 2:00:36Let me put it to you that way. But like in the game is like
- 2:00:41very non-political, I did. It's a jet, it's a Japanese
- 2:00:46Adventure game basically. It's it's very non woke, right?
- 2:00:53But because but because there's one character a minor character
- 2:01:00who happens to be gay and they don't want it in Focus very
- 2:01:05heavily but all the games but all of like the gaming a people
- 2:01:09like well there's a gay character in there's a character
- 2:01:12who's like a lesbian And this is a shade of your bullshit that
- 2:01:16thing forced into this. Yeah.
- 2:01:20The aim immediate outraged reaction like that.
- 2:01:23Like another example was, there's a trans character in the
- 2:01:26Harry Potter game, right? And people like, ah, si si.
- 2:01:30It really is woke. It's like, I mean, you could you
- 2:01:33can have a character. That's one of those fucking
- 2:01:36characteristics in it's not preachy or bothering me and
- 2:01:39that's what that's what most people really mean when they
- 2:01:42don't want that shit. Is they do.
- 2:01:43Don't want it to be preached at and it sounds to me like the
- 2:01:46game isn't preaching, it again, played it, so I can't.
- 2:01:50Well and yeah and I mean Hogwarts Legacy to, you know,
- 2:01:54what they're referencing is. There's a there's like a
- 2:01:59bartender something out. Like, you know, like the bar
- 2:02:02that like isn't it hound Village hogsmeade, that's close to
- 2:02:08Hogwarts. There's like there's one trans
- 2:02:12character and it's like And it's like okay what a trans bartender
- 2:02:17really have been realistic and 18th century England, which is
- 2:02:21when it takes place according to according to Shrek 2.
- 2:02:26Yes. Well II got to and I think
- 2:02:31that's more what the reference is.
- 2:02:32If you remember there's like a there's like a drag queen
- 2:02:36bartender in Shrek and I'm pretty sure that's what the
- 2:02:38reference is. Oh, yeah.
- 2:02:42Oh yeah. Oh, yeah, you're right.
- 2:02:43I hadn't even thought of that Maya, Maya, I'm pretty sure
- 2:02:47that's what they are referencing.
- 2:02:49I don't think it was. We need awoke character, I think
- 2:02:52it was a reference to Shrek. Well, yeah.
- 2:02:55My whole, my whole thing is, yeah, there probably weren't
- 2:02:59very many trans bartenders in the 18th century either but not,
- 2:03:05but there aren't fucking Wizards, and whatnot.
- 2:03:08Yeah, I they're telling a story. And if it doesn't, if it doesn't
- 2:03:12feel forced and it doesn't feel preachy, I actually don't care.
- 2:03:17And that's usually how I look at games, but I also don't play a
- 2:03:20lot of AAA games. Like I said, Yeah, if you want
- 2:03:24games that are less political or more right-wing political even
- 2:03:29you should be playing any games. I played an indie game not that
- 2:03:32long ago. It's called acquitted where you
- 2:03:34play as Kyle, Rittenhouse shooting antifa, in the streets.
- 2:03:39It's hilarious. It's fun.
- 2:03:40It's on Steam. It's like five dollars.
- 2:03:42Go get it. You'll have a blast for a little
- 2:03:44while. Is it like?
- 2:03:47Is it like actually good? Or was it just like?
- 2:03:49Yeah, it's good. It's like a rogue.
- 2:03:51Like, maybe I'm dating Myself by asking, but do you remember
- 2:03:56Smash TV? Yes, it's like Smash TV.
- 2:04:00But with Kyle, Rittenhouse and zombie antifa because they are
- 2:04:03zombies. It's not, he's not just killing
- 2:04:06any their zombie ant. But they're there is actual I
- 2:04:10cast a story and shit like that. It's not a little a little bit.
- 2:04:14It's like you get through the level and then Kyle gets
- 2:04:17acquitted, right? And then you do another level
- 2:04:20and Kyle get sick. That's the story.
- 2:04:21He gets acquitted. They, yeah, it's a good game,
- 2:04:27but, like, like I could point to a lot of other like, again, if
- 2:04:30you don't want politics in your video in, you're not playing any
- 2:04:34games. You're missing out this.
- 2:04:37Last week I played a game, it's called The Life and suffering of
- 2:04:41Sir. Bronte, it's an indie game, from
- 2:04:44a Korean developer, and it's literally, just a visual novel
- 2:04:48and it's one of the best games I have ever played.
- 2:04:50I don't really want to spoil it, but essentially, your Playing as
- 2:04:54a character named Sobrante in, you're born into a world where
- 2:04:59there you get your lot, right? And you're either a noble or a
- 2:05:03commoner, right? And when you are given that lot,
- 2:05:07it gives you like commoners or second class citizens.
- 2:05:09And there's also the priest class you could be and it
- 2:05:14navigates that in the choices that you make actually seem
- 2:05:17realistic. And it's actually, I would say
- 2:05:20it's basically a simulation of a Lucien in a, in a, in a corrupt
- 2:05:25and decadent society, and you can pick any side of it, you can
- 2:05:29be the revolution. I actually chose to become a
- 2:05:33judge become in the noble class and I tried to reform by
- 2:05:39enforcing the law. So it's an empire in the
- 2:05:41emperor's law says commoners have these rights but the Nobles
- 2:05:45don't want to give them those rights and me as a judge.
- 2:05:49I'm giving cases to decide. And if I decide to honor Her the
- 2:05:54fucking law, right? Then the commoners, you know,
- 2:05:57feel more emboldened in the Nobles.
- 2:05:59Get pissed at me. I ended up not making it through
- 2:06:01the full game though because they killed me for it.
- 2:06:06So be trying to be the fucking steadfast reformer and the
- 2:06:11fucking revolutionaries killed me.
- 2:06:13They're realistic actually. Yeah.
- 2:06:17I'd highly recommend it and it's a game who the politics of it
- 2:06:21don't judge you, right? So whatever you pick.
- 2:06:23It feels good. Another one actually made by
- 2:06:26communist. I've recommended before is Disco
- 2:06:28Elysium another game that is about politics.
- 2:06:31But does not judge you, including if you become a
- 2:06:33fucking racial nationalist, The game will not judge you at the
- 2:06:38same time, the game will judge you and but the game will judge
- 2:06:41you if you choose to be a communist to and the game will
- 2:06:44do its it's got a political neutral feel to it but more than
- 2:06:48that I've been playing more than anything recently.
- 2:06:52Dave the diver and you want to talk about a not political
- 2:06:55fucking game. You are running a sushi
- 2:06:58restaurant by night and by day your spear fishing under the sea
- 2:07:0410/10 that sounds. That sounds simple, but
- 2:07:09entertaining. Yeah and it's got like 2D
- 2:07:12Graphics. So it's got like a game Loop the
- 2:07:14day. You're fishing, you catch all
- 2:07:16these fish. You may be fight a shark night,
- 2:07:19you have shark sushi at your restaurant, right?
- 2:07:21And you make lots of money. Rinse, repeat.
- 2:07:24There's a story in it about finding like an undersea.
- 2:07:29Like a Atlantis that the see people they call it.
- 2:07:33It's A fun little fucking game again.
- 2:07:36Indie Games tends not to be preachy or political so that's
- 2:07:41where you should be heading. If you're a gamer, Yeah, I think
- 2:07:46I got I could I could recommend so many games that are indie
- 2:07:49games that fit that Niche, that are not political and are fun,
- 2:07:54but the problem is a lot of mainstream gamers are Graphics
- 2:07:57knobs. So they wouldn't go for a lot of
- 2:08:00this shit. All right, I'm not.
- 2:08:04Yeah, and I'm not necessarily Graphics knob I got, I mean
- 2:08:10help, I got shit because I still like playing Red Dead Redemption
- 2:08:14in like that game. Is people say that game is old,
- 2:08:20that is read Dead 2 on Steam deck has been an amazing
- 2:08:24experience. I played it before on PC, but
- 2:08:28yeah, it's been a lot of fun on this team deck.
- 2:08:31Yeah, read that. Read the tube is still like that
- 2:08:34gate also like. Yeah, it may be older, but like,
- 2:08:39it's only like came out in 2018. It's not, it's not old old and
- 2:08:45even if it was, it's still what a, what, a well-built gay.
- 2:08:51I mean, I play Punch Out like on the toilet all the time on my
- 2:08:56steamed egg, the original Punch Out, ladies and gentlemen, 1987
- 2:09:00or whatever the fuck. Aye, aye.
- 2:09:03But like I say if you want games that don't do that.
- 2:09:06If you want games that respect, you respect your time and
- 2:09:12actually appreciate. Oftentimes I find what Indie
- 2:09:15devs. Like, I'm in contact with a lot
- 2:09:16of them. I talk to them.
- 2:09:18You know, I get codes from them by the way, if we're going to
- 2:09:22wrap it up soon I have a code we can give away.
- 2:09:25Sure. Yeah, please do, we should do
- 2:09:29another Twitter giveaway. See if anybody fucking
- 2:09:31participates because The same code this time.
- 2:09:33Maybe, I don't know, maybe which Van Halen singer didn't didn't
- 2:09:36do it. Right.
- 2:09:37Did you pick a winner from that? I, I did actually, we only had
- 2:09:41like two people but more theists.
- 2:09:44One that okay, I will send that code.
- 2:09:48I'll give it to you so you can send it his way.
- 2:09:51But I have codes for. Let me see, I'll pick a good one
- 2:09:56today. Just just doing one if you're in
- 2:10:00chat right now, if you say something, Chat.
- 2:10:02Right now, you might end up getting a free game, if not,
- 2:10:05we're going to do a Twitter giveaway.
- 2:10:06So There's there's people watching so if you're on Rumble
- 2:10:10watching right now you know say something in chat say say you
- 2:10:15love the Whitfield report and I'll just give you the first
- 2:10:18person to say that and check gets the game.
- 2:10:19If not, we're doing Twitter, give away tomorrow.
- 2:10:24So yeah we're just at what sounds pretty good.
- 2:10:27Yeah, the game. I will be giving away since
- 2:10:31since the new ones coming out, I'm giving away An Origin key
- 2:10:34instead of a steam key. Unfortunately, I don't have a
- 2:10:36steam key for this one. Star Wars Jedi, Fallen order,
- 2:10:40great game. It's like a dark souls, but it
- 2:10:43takes place in Star Wars, I would argue that the moot, the,
- 2:10:46the, the story in that game is better than the new movies by a
- 2:10:49mile, and probably should have been the new movies and it's all
- 2:10:52over. Yeah.
- 2:10:53Yes, easily. I mean, best thing to come out
- 2:10:58of the, I would say that that's the only good thing to come out
- 2:11:02of Disney Star Wars. Yeah.
- 2:11:06And so now, what is it, Jedi Order Survivor or whatever is
- 2:11:09coming out. So yeah, you can, if you don't,
- 2:11:12if you haven't played the first one, we tell you which I just
- 2:11:16finished very, very tight, you know what?
- 2:11:21You know what other game. I am.
- 2:11:24I am excited to play although I didn't play through the first
- 2:11:27one because it honestly freaks me the fuck out because I'm not
- 2:11:32a big fan of Bill or genre but Alan Wake is pretty good.
- 2:11:40Hell yeah. Hell yeah.
- 2:11:43If they're doing like a like a like a remaster of it on height
- 2:11:46I'm gonna grab that they the the remaster already came out and
- 2:11:52Yeah, Yeah. But It didn't really come out
- 2:11:54because it came out on the epic game store.
- 2:11:58I'm a PC guy so it didn't come out yet.
- 2:12:01Oh if it comes out on Steam, then it's then I'll say that
- 2:12:05it's coming home. Yeah.
- 2:12:07Well well Alan, Wake 2 is coming and Boy, I might I might be dead
- 2:12:19in here and me, but did you ever watch Twin Peaks by Chance the
- 2:12:25little bit? I'm definitely familiar with the
- 2:12:28fucking setup. Okay.
- 2:12:30Well that show does not have a happy ending at all.
- 2:12:37Not to spoil too many things, but but it is hilarious to me
- 2:12:42that people think that that Alan Wake is going to finally have
- 2:12:49like a Redemption Arc and a happy ending, because clearly,
- 2:12:53they have not watched any of the acts filed or Twin Peaks.
- 2:12:59Yeah. Twin Peaks, which is much more
- 2:13:01influential on Alan Wake than anything else.
- 2:13:04Yeah, that's interesting. So okay, so So chat hadn't
- 2:13:07responded. That's fine.
- 2:13:08We're going to do a Twitter giveaway.
- 2:13:09I'll tell you what if you between now and I'm going to say
- 2:13:155:00 on April 13th p.m. between now and then follow Sam and
- 2:13:25retweet the video of this show and I will pick somebody from
- 2:13:31that and I will give them Star Wars.

- 2:13:37you the choice that you could take the long dark instead,
- 2:13:39which Speaking of amazing, Indie Games, The Long Dark is so good.
- 2:13:44It's a survival game set in the frozen tundra that it's super
- 2:13:50realistic. It's also super comfy.
- 2:13:53That is actually one. I think I hadn't played all the
- 2:13:56way through but I have played before.
- 2:13:58So, yeah, definitely. Yeah, well, it's a survival
- 2:14:01game. So, like you die and then
- 2:14:03fucking start, there is a story mode to I haven't played it.

- 2:14:35some codes have some fun. Is there anything we missed
- 2:14:39tonight? No, just You know, net next
- 2:14:45week. I do want to make an
- 2:14:47announcement that next week. So hopefully, I know that this
- 2:14:53week, I announced that we were going to have Sean's Manco on

- 2:15:24guarantees we thought we were going to have them tonight but
- 2:15:27that didn't work out. Out.
- 2:15:28So I apologize. Hopefully, he'll be able to come
- 2:15:33on next week, but, you know, Yeah it's have to wait and see
- 2:15:41that's the thing about booking guests man is we need you know
- 2:15:44to relevant in understand or pump relevant but we need to be
- 2:15:49considerate that people have lives and schedules and are
- 2:15:52busy. Yeah.
- 2:15:54So but we do have guests lined up, though.
- 2:15:57It's just a scheduling conflict. This is why I try not to
- 2:16:00announce a lot of people that I've gotten to agree, because if
- 2:16:03shit happens, I don't want to disappoint anybody.
- 2:16:06Yeah, right. So really you have you had
- 2:16:13something else you wanted to say?
- 2:16:16I don't. Baste.
- 2:16:20Do you think I'm the kind of guy who has like a lot to say Well,
- 2:16:25I will say this, you know, your face could go on hundred dollar
- 2:16:32bill, he easily. Thanks that helps with my ego
- 2:16:39issues. Oh yeah.
- 2:16:41Because you clearly have you clearly have a problem with
- 2:16:45self-confidence? Yeah he does.
- 2:16:48I keep telling him he's too confident but he doesn't listen.
- 2:16:53So I just wanted to tell the audience so, you know, pray and
- 2:17:00eat your vegetables. Stay off drugs, take your

- 2:18:15wasn't, I'm already. That is one thing I do want to
- 2:18:18bring up before we end the show, I do find, no errors all the
- 2:18:22Creator on Creator. The people are freaking out
- 2:18:25about that because I'm already off YouTube, folks.
- 2:18:29I'm not worried about that, but I'm I'm I'm moving the cringe
- 2:18:33coffee house for that very reason.
- 2:18:35And I haven't gotten a strike or anything.
- 2:18:36I'm just not stupid. Well, you know, a lot of these
- 2:18:42people immersed don't don't think that that's going to apply
- 2:18:48to them because they appeared on Alex Stein.
- 2:18:54And so, you know, I'm just I'm just criticizing people, it's
- 2:18:59fine. Like, they everybody thinks
- 2:19:02they're immune until the ban Hammer hits you in the face.
- 2:19:06Yeah it's it's a classic case of it's funny whenever it's funny
- 2:19:12when everyone else gets bad until it happens to you like.
- 2:19:16Well like I say the irony and would Johnny Fox is he called
- 2:19:19for people to ban me for Creator harassment and he got banned for
- 2:19:22Creator harassment. Well, the other thing too is in
- 2:19:27regards to Marsh, it's like congrats, you made it onto,
- 2:19:33okay, you made on to Alex Stein. Show you Onto the onto the blaze
- 2:19:38it yet. I wasn't one Locale got on
- 2:19:41another level cows, fucking show.
- 2:19:42Wow, I'm impressed because he thinks that he owned Porcelain
- 2:19:48by doing that. And like, he doesn't, he doesn't
- 2:19:53understand that like, You getting on Alex Stein.
- 2:19:59You gotta be careful. Dude I might I might sue you and
- 2:20:04get criminal charges. Oh my God, that you saw that
- 2:20:07when he threatened, he's going to get, Jesse arrested and
- 2:20:10fucking Sue. Mitch is the funniest fucking
- 2:20:13thing I've ever seen. What with it wasn't.
- 2:20:15I'm sure that he's going to sue me now just for making fun of
- 2:20:21fun of him for this, you know, because it's a, it's a It's a
- 2:20:28pattern of harassment by this evil Sam.
- 2:20:32He he once called me retarded and I stand by the fact that to
- 2:20:42the look on his face when he watched that video.
- 2:20:45And saw you say that indicates to me that that is the like the
- 2:20:51core of his beef with you. Is he was calling you or retard.
- 2:20:56And then you pointed out that Is being retarded.
- 2:20:59Well, well, because because that one that hurt, that that wound
- 2:21:03will never heal. Yeah, yeah.
- 2:21:07Because because he's one of these people that like, okay, he
- 2:21:13can dish it out, but can't take it.
- 2:21:15Also, the fact that he see, he thinks that like crippled jokes
- 2:21:21were hurt, will hurt my feelings, but I've, I've heard
- 2:21:26them. All right, you've probably made
- 2:21:29them all. Yeah, I yeah.
- 2:21:31I've made, I've made them all about myself.
- 2:21:36If he want, I listen, I've been called, I've been called a
- 2:21:39retard like many times by Life by my friends.
- 2:21:45You know, as I need to even as an insult it doesn't say, it
- 2:21:50doesn't faze me but what it's funny that people think these
- 2:21:54like Petty insults, you know, are a big deal.
- 2:21:57If hey, join the Gilded server with us and you'll see it's
- 2:22:01like, how do we talk to each other saying?
- 2:22:05But my favorite criticism is that people mean as an insult is
- 2:22:12you have a fucking stutter and it's Like really, it's like it's
- 2:22:19like huh. It looks like huh.
- 2:22:21You know, maybe I got a neurological condition.
- 2:22:23I don't know. Fuck.
- 2:22:27Or I go. Oh, you you mean what you mean,
- 2:22:31like this? Like I will purposely exaggerate
- 2:22:33it before. For them.
- 2:22:36Well, not quite like that. Well, then, what do you mean?
- 2:22:40Oh, well now you're just stuttering to be theatrical but
- 2:22:44that's not what you actually do. And it's like, okay, What's your
- 2:22:50point that? I don't know.
- 2:22:52I think you make good points. I think.
- 2:22:55If people can't get past the fucking stutter, it's their
- 2:22:57loss. But again, like we're the kind
- 2:23:00of people. Like if you interact with us, if
- 2:23:03you're like in our server you would see this but we're not
- 2:23:06nice to each other. We're all mean to each other all
- 2:23:09the time and we say horrific things because that's what men
- 2:23:15do. That's what men do.
- 2:23:17Maybe not in this Fallen. Live in now but like men, you
- 2:23:21know, iron sharpens iron. And that's how it's always been.
- 2:23:24Well, I said, you just don't understand content creation
- 2:23:28backs because you haven't been a, um, you have been in radio
- 2:23:33for 20 years. I do what you fought, you
- 2:23:36fucking have. You don't ya?
- 2:23:38You don't understand cause you don't understand comedy on Long
- 2:23:42Island. Oh what you do?
- 2:23:45You don't have a tragic, you know, you don't have a tragic
- 2:23:49upbringing. I'm with your mom.
- 2:23:50Oh what you? Yeah you yeah.
- 2:23:54I could be one of those fuck you guys.
- 2:23:56Oh wait. Turns out.
- 2:23:57You actually understand Mercer's life better than he fucking
- 2:24:01does, huh? No I understand.
- 2:24:04I understand his fucking early life but for the life of me I
- 2:24:07can't figure out how he became such a loser.
- 2:24:10Well that that's that's what I'm saying that was he but he blames
- 2:24:15like from what I've been able to be like Being he explains it to,
- 2:24:20he is the way he is because all the shit that happened in his
- 2:24:25past and I'm saying, well, okay, I'll look at Max then he's kind
- 2:24:31of bet. He was kind of in the same boat.
- 2:24:35I'm not sure if you live that out of your car at any time
- 2:24:39though but like you know you might have had a similar
- 2:24:43upbringing, I don't know. But well I don't have most
- 2:24:47people I should say. Don't have the obsession that he
- 2:24:50has with trying to present himself as a successful.
- 2:24:53When is martian, Johnny Fox Lake.
- 2:24:55Everybody wants to compare Johnny, Fox to Ethan Ralph and
- 2:24:58they're just wrong. He's Marsh, he's little Marsh.
- 2:25:02He might, he might be big marshak to be fair.
- 2:25:04He's pretty fat, but like, he's Marsh because he thinks that if
- 2:25:10I just say all the right things, I'll be successful.
- 2:25:13And the problem Marsh has and the problem, Johnny Fox as
- 2:25:15people see through it, it's fake.
- 2:25:20The the, the problem, the problem is is okay, even if even
- 2:25:28though mersh made it onto Alex Stein, show again, that doesn't
- 2:25:35negate like person's point. Like, porcelains, not all the
- 2:25:38time and going out. Oh blahh, oh, blahh Beamers,
- 2:25:45finally made on to Alex Stein. I I can't make fun of them any
- 2:25:50anymore. Now if anything he's just going
- 2:25:54to make part 3 because that's what portion does.
- 2:25:59Well especially when you're you know literally doing sloth suits
- 2:26:04and stuff. That like he's begging for a
- 2:26:06part 3 and I think part 3 of Terror sperg should be subtitled
- 2:26:12Tink Tink Tink. Again Yeah.
- 2:26:18Yeah, speaking of documentaries the Johnny Fox documentary I did
- 2:26:24is now live on uncensored because I added some stuff back
- 2:26:28in. I gave you the original cut and
- 2:26:29there's a little bit more content on Odyssey right now.
- 2:26:33Put it up there and if you're not caught up on Johnny Fox,
- 2:26:37lure, you're in for a treat, watch that documentary.
- 2:26:41What was said, I I know John. I know Johnny Fox, but I'm going
- 2:26:47to watch it because I don't even know all the lore.
- 2:26:50Oh, it's so deep. And that's the problem.
- 2:26:52That's why he weasels out of everything is because there's so
- 2:26:56much that it's hard to parse through what makes him a fucking
- 2:26:59ridiculous person. But but that's what we do.
- 2:27:03One cringing over coffee and that's probably tomorrow
- 2:27:07morning. I'm I'm pretty optimistic on it.
- 2:27:10I've caught up on a lot of my Work.
- 2:27:11So we'll see. Yeah, yeah, that's good.
- 2:27:15What will, you know, early? Thursday streaming.
- 2:27:19So Yep. Well folks, let's put this show
- 2:27:27into the barn, shall we? Now one, you know, has claimed
- 2:27:33the codon run more so I guess we will do.
- 2:27:36That's fine because the Twitter thing is better promotion.
- 2:27:39Anyway, so thank you, Chad. Thank you.
- 2:27:43And we will see you if I get the time because this past Monday
- 2:27:51was bit crazy. I was a Monday show and I will,
- 2:27:55I will be posting my John Wick review for chapter 4 on Monday,
- 2:28:03but you wanted I want. I was like tempted to ask if
- 2:28:07it's any good, but if you're going to do a review then, no
- 2:28:10purpose, I'll I'll tell you off I'll tell you off.
- 2:28:14Are all right. Yeah.
