- 0:00This is Mullah Ahmad Al Rahim Salaam Alaikum to live.
- 0:02Welcome back to After Maghrib. If you are here for the first
- 0:05time, make sure you hit that subscribe button as we are going
- 0:09to be having incredible discussions every week.
- 0:11And if this is a returning episode for you, if you're
- 0:13coming back to After Maghrib, welcome back.
- 0:16You will know that in the last few days, brothers, sisters,
- 0:18we've had some absolutely humongous news coming out from
- 0:22the Middle East, and we are seeing a fault unfold in front
- 0:24of our eyes, an event which I think is going to shape the
- 0:28course of the coming months, if not years.
- 0:30And I think it's going to affect the way we see the situation in
- 0:34the Middle East. We've of course discussed the
- 0:36genocide taking place in Gaza and this conversation today is
- 0:41going to be 1 which is linked but primarily focused on the
- 0:44attacks on Iran by the genocidal entity of Israel.
- 0:49This is something which is so important for us to discuss.
- 0:52How did it come about? What's the situation now and
- 0:54what can we expect to happen in days, weeks and months to come?
- 0:58So we have a returning special guest joining us today.
- 1:02But before we introduce her, my great honour and pleasure to sit
- 1:05beside my dear brother so that I did another week.
- 1:07So how are you?
- 1:19Hamdallah, I'm all on a personal level, Hamdallah, and I say that
- 1:23what I mean by that is I can go to my day-to-day life, I can go
- 1:26to work, I can come home, seal my family roof over their head.
- 1:30Don't need to worry if there's going to be a bombardment.
- 1:33Don't need to worry if you know there's a, you know, a genocide
- 1:36happening next door like these massacres.
- 1:38I, I don't need to think like that.
- 1:40But now, especially with what you mentioned, now we want,
- 1:44we're going to discuss the unfolding events in Iran.
- 1:46That's made me even think greater that now the hands of
- 1:50Israel, if we can call this hands.
- 1:52Inshallah, Allah cuts off one day.
- 1:55It's now extending beyond just as it's now extending beyond
- 1:58just Philistine and it's come to home and it's come much deeper
- 2:03to home. And I, I say this as a Shia
- 2:04Muslim and we saw how they tried to deal with now they've come to
- 2:11Iran. So when when I say this, as much
- 2:13as I have this love to see freedom and Gaza, now it's even
- 2:18greater, in fact 10 times greater.
- 2:20So it means a lot. So there's so much questions
- 2:23like I want to understand more what's happening on the ground
- 2:25between Iran, because Iran, whether people admit it or not,
- 2:28they represent the Shia. Well, that means they represent
- 2:30me, they represent you and they represent every Shia across the
- 2:34world. So this is it.
- 2:36It's an interesting one. We've seen, as you've mentioned,
- 2:40Israel has attacked not just Iran or Gaza, but also Lebanon,
- 2:45Syria, Iraq, Yemen, the coast of Malta with impunity, no mercy.
- 2:51And it really employed some inhumane tactics.
- 2:54And we saw that, of course, in the last few days in Dahan.
- 2:56And of course, we believe hundreds of people have died as
- 2:59a result of the attacks. But we are going to dissect this
- 3:02in more detail with our special guest, sister Batul Subbeti,
- 3:05Islam Alaikum's sister. How are you doing?
- 3:08It's a pleasure and honour to be here.
- 3:09Thank you, thank you, thank you for.
- 3:10Coming back on. Yeah, unfortunately, the last
- 3:12time you came on, we were in somewhat of a similar situation
- 3:17where we saw, I think the the Israeli entity enter borders
- 3:25which are not theirs, employee tactics of shock and awe, as we
- 3:30were saying before the podcast, attempt to divide and conquer.
- 3:35And unfortunately, we're somewhat in a similar situation.
- 3:39What I think 8-9 months on since we last spoke, but now we're
- 3:42talking about Iran. What is the, the general
- 3:45situation? Because I think a lot of people
- 3:47who are listening now take great pride and interest in the, you
- 3:52know, their visits, their memories to Iran, kind of leave
- 3:55it there. Don't know much more, don't know
- 3:57the history, don't know the the last 46 years since the start of
- 4:01the revolution and why and how Iran has got to a place where
- 4:05they are now considered Public Enemy #1 as a state, especially
- 4:10to the US compared to times prior.
- 4:13What is the reason firstly for Iran's involvement and why are
- 4:17they being attacked and and what is their kind of their, their
- 4:19role in this, in this state of affairs?
- 4:22No, it's all really good questions.
- 4:23I think if we start on a foundational level, I mean, you
- 4:25guys have been talking about how the Israeli occupation entities,
- 4:28this striking stake of the West in this region that's inherently
- 4:32expansionist. We've been seeing its tentacles
- 4:34in terms of it wanting to deal with each front separately.
- 4:38These echo the words that Imam Khomeini made decades ago, even
- 4:42prior to the Islamic Revolution, where he'd sit on the member and
- 4:46he would say that the Israeli occupation entity, its motto is
- 4:49from the Nile to the Euphrates. So what does that mean, Neil?
- 4:55And the for us? So the Egyptians need to be
- 4:57concerned, the Iraqis need to be concerned.
- 5:01This is an entity that will not stop at the borders that are
- 5:04defined to it by the the. Greater Israel that we speak
- 5:07about. Yeah, exactly.
- 5:08The Greater Israel Project, it's like, yes, the West might
- 5:10confined them within certain boundaries to fulfil their
- 5:13functional role as far as they're concerned.
- 5:16And maybe the West doesn't want Israel to expand beyond those
- 5:18certain borders because the more Israel expands, the more
- 5:21resistance and opposition there is.
- 5:22So Hezbollah was born out of the and the invasion of South
- 5:26Lebanon. But Israel has its own plan in
- 5:28its own agenda, and the West won't oppose that plan in the
- 5:31agenda unless there is active opposition on the ground.
- 5:35So the real crux of the threat with the West is if there is any
- 5:40movement, it doesn't really care about the ideological background
- 5:43of that movement. If there is a movement that is
- 5:46trying to liberate itself and trying to exit the hegemony of
- 5:51the West, where the West is interested specifically in that
- 5:54area or in that region, they will have a problem with them.
- 5:57So in 1979, that's when the thorough Islamia happened in
- 6:01which you had 98.9% of the Iranian population who took onto
- 6:04the streets and the Shia, the slogan was no East, no W Islamic
- 6:08Republic. They wanted to be freed from the
- 6:11shackles of this hegemony and hey Hatman Adila was the
- 6:14underpinning of that. So during the Western backed war
- 6:17on Iran via Saddam, I look at Saddam as a kind of tool that
- 6:20was used to bring down the revolution.
- 6:23The Shiite of the people was, you know, if you solve us, we
- 6:26are the children of Ramadan. If you kill us, we are the
- 6:28children of Ashura. Whereas prior to this
- 6:30revolution, the whole reason that the uproar happened was
- 6:33because you had a man who was called the Shah of Iran who
- 6:38enslaved Iran and Iran was completely hostage to the West.
- 6:42The Iran had really strong relations with the Israeli
- 6:44occupation entity. I mean, look at the level of
- 6:46hypocrisy. It was to the point where the
- 6:48West, it was under Western auspices that uranium enrichment
- 6:52happened in the Iran during the 60s.
- 6:54So, so much about Iran having, you know, the ability to enrich.
- 6:57The issue is not Iran having that ability.
- 7:00It is an independent Iran. It is a free Iran that cares
- 7:03about its own interests having that.
- 7:05So as soon as the revolution happened, the cornerstone of it
- 7:08was as far as foreign policy was concerned as per Islam,
- 7:13supporting the oppressed wherever they are.
- 7:15So for example, Imahoani cut ties with the South African
- 7:20regime that was practicing apartheid.
- 7:22As far as Palestine was concerned, he took down the
- 7:25Israeli embassy, cut ties officially and erected the PLO's
- 7:29embassy. Now the PLO was a Palestinian
- 7:31liberation organization that at that time was engaged in armed
- 7:34struggle and even a portion of the Homs money, tax money was
- 7:37given to groups that will Marxist Leninist that were
- 7:40fighting the occupation at the time.
- 7:42This was before Hamas was born in the late 80s.
- 7:44So you have the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine,
- 7:47that a portion of tax and some people even came to the Imam,
- 7:49some religious figures and said, is this allowed?
- 7:52Like can you do this because these are not Muslim groups?
- 7:55And he's, he gave the same answer that Hajj Qasem Soleimani
- 7:58gave several decades later where he said, we recognise 2 lines.
- 8:02Are you willing to fight the occupation or are you willing to
- 8:05surrender and subdue? And that is, I mean, even when
- 8:09you look at the war that was opposed on Iran, Despite that
- 8:12and despite Iran having really kind of crippled abilities to
- 8:17defend itself because it wasn't a state that was established.
- 8:21And this war lasted a brutal 8 years and was really difficult
- 8:25in the material sense. Iran still sent its newly formed
- 8:29IRGC men to go and train the men in the South of Lebanon.
- 8:34And the formation of the Islamic resistance of Lebanon happened,
- 8:37you know, under that strong Iranian support.
- 8:40And when the Quds Force was born and Qassem Soleimani was put at
- 8:43the helm of it, he quickly adopted the Palestinian file.
- 8:47And he materially supported the resistance movements on the
- 8:49ground in a way in which he made sure that they can manufacture
- 8:53their own weapons. And he taught them how to make
- 8:55that. The whole tunnel networks that
- 8:56exist within Raza, he was the architect of it.
- 8:59And America and especially Israel will never forget that.
- 9:02That explains why someone like Netanyahu looks at Iran and
- 9:05says, that's my biggest threat. You asked me what's number 123?
- 9:08I'll tell you, Iran, Iran, Iran because they see that as the
- 9:12glue. Yeah, They see Iran as
- 9:15ultimately the glue. And they call it like, you know,
- 9:18like the Iranian tentacles that are expanding itself in the
- 9:22region. So it's not just Iran liberating
- 9:24itself. It's the model.
- 9:25It's the free model. So can I ask because this is
- 9:28quite interesting, because what we're seeing now is in many ways
- 9:30reminiscent of what we saw in Iraq 22 years ago.
- 9:33Of course this the, the, the claim of weapons of mass
- 9:36destruction in Iraq at a time an excuse to then end some military
- 9:40militarily, to have some involvement to try and as you,
- 9:43as you mentioned, instigate regime change and then of course
- 9:46rebuild a Middle Eastern state according to your own whims and
- 9:50desires as a Western imperialist nation.
- 9:53Now one may argue that this is similar in terms of tactics that
- 9:56we've seen in the past. And what's interesting is now
- 9:59the Iran that we're looking at now is not the Iraq that we saw
- 10:03in 2003, because of course Iran has the second largest military
- 10:07in, in, in, in the region. They've got 610,000 active
- 10:10soldiers, They have 325,000 on reserve.
- 10:13They have a, a ballistic air defence system, which is
- 10:16arguably, if not, you know, one of, if not the strongest in the
- 10:19region. And of course they are not a
- 10:22small fish, right? So for example, the Israeli
- 10:25entity attacking Lebanon OR Gaza or Yemen or any other group
- 10:29cannot really be compared to in terms of scale and size
- 10:32attacking Iran. And I think one thing we've seen
- 10:34in the last few days is the fact that, yes, you know, we saw a
- 10:39lot of intense attacks on the first night of attacks on Dharan
- 10:42and across Iran. But I think what's really been
- 10:45interesting is the scale of response from Iran.
- 10:48So different stocks that are being used, different types of
- 10:51missiles, very precise targeting, a penetration of
- 10:55different air defence systems employed by Israel and all other
- 10:59defences, interceptors between the point of the point of the
- 11:05shock taking place and of course the point of attack.
- 11:09And it's interesting to see now that we are kind of at, you
- 11:13know, a fork in a road where things either cease now and
- 11:18there's some sort of agreement on on the table that's accepted
- 11:21because we know, of course, this attack started at a point of
- 11:25negotiation and the attack was made by Israel and not by Iran.
- 11:28And they continually say we did not initiate this.
- 11:32So we can either see a situation or maybe this is a question if
- 11:34you use this stuff, but we may either see a situation where an
- 11:38agreement is made or a situation where things escalate,
- 11:42assassinations are made. You know, Iran doesn't back
- 11:45down, Israel doesn't back down. the US may militarily get
- 11:48involved. There's risk of larger scale
- 11:50escalation. What do you think so?
- 11:52There is no I Yeah, only for me personally.
- 11:54I'm sitting at home. I turn on the news and I'm
- 11:57watching Iran defending itself and this is this is how I see
- 12:00it. But with that defence, there's
- 12:02something more to it. It's resisting to aggression,
- 12:05honey. And that's something unique.
- 12:06I don't think we find it anywhere in the Middle East
- 12:08currently. During my lifetime, I haven't
- 12:10witnessed that. So when I see something like
- 12:12that, I'm like, no, there is a greater cause.
- 12:15And maybe I can ask a question and answer your question or ask
- 12:17you a question. Is that what is Iran's strategic
- 12:19goals now? They they are in this war, if we
- 12:23can call it now with Israel, Is it deterrence?
- 12:26Is it simply the cause of Palestine or is there something
- 12:29deeper? Because they could easily say,
- 12:31you know what? We want peace, let's make a
- 12:32ceasefire and walk on. But no, they continue to stand
- 12:35and resist this aggression that's happening.
- 12:39So I think you both made an important point and that is that
- 12:41Iran right now, specifically this war, Iran didn't ask for
- 12:45this war and Iran did not initiate this war.
- 12:48And Iran is in the victim position and Iran is deterring
- 12:52and resisting that aggression. And I would say for the past
- 12:54four decades, the Iranian position has been 1 of
- 12:56deterrence rather than offensive.
- 12:58Iran has never initiated a war. As far as the issue, the crux of
- 13:02the issue they help with Iran is that it's empowering the region
- 13:05and it's empowering the actors within the region that want the
- 13:08support fight against that aggression.
- 13:10But Iran, contrary to how some people might want it.
- 13:13So people's conventional idea of support is like, oh, but like
- 13:16why doesn't Iran strike missiles into the heart of the Israeli
- 13:19occupation entity at least 20 months of genocide?
- 13:21Why did it take an Israeli aggression on Iranian soil to
- 13:25prompt Iran's response? Because Iran does not consider
- 13:28it its place to wage a war on behalf of another people.
- 13:32It empowers those people that want to resist to.
- 13:34Defend they want. To resist exactly to defend
- 13:37themselves. So it's important that we we
- 13:39categorize Iran within that. I think in terms of why this war
- 13:42is happening right now. You raised a really important
- 13:44point, Ahmed, about the quote UN quote new Middle East project
- 13:48set up that the West had for the region in the turn of the 21st
- 13:52century. And that involved the invasions
- 13:54of Afghanistan, the invasion of Iraq, the stationing of troops
- 13:56in Pakistan, essentially engulfing and circling the
- 13:59Islamic Republic. That was the idea was to
- 14:02basically topple it and to use military means that it's, it's
- 14:06so interesting. It's like if the 8 year war
- 14:07didn't work those tactics 20 years ago as you were mentioning
- 14:11when Iran didn't even have a fraction of the capabilities
- 14:14that it has today, but may out of obviously also the other side
- 14:17has also like their capabilities have have exponentially grown as
- 14:20well. But notwithstanding that though,
- 14:24Iran has demonstrated itself in these fast in these past five
- 14:28days in terms of not only the precision of its missiles and
- 14:33its ability to hit and to kind of overcome all of those multi
- 14:37layers of air defence and to be that precise, but to also
- 14:41inflict that level of mass destruction.
- 14:44This is almost right now a testing grounds for America to
- 14:48see what is Irans position and what is Israeli position.
- 14:52It wants to ascertain the true power balance on the ground.
- 14:55And especially someone like Trump, he's very transactional
- 14:58in his nature. Trump has no patient for
- 15:01failures, so to speak. So the issue, the crux that
- 15:05Trump has with Netanyahu is not that he's a genocidal manic
- 15:08that's just been massacring Palestinians for the past 20
- 15:11months. It's like, why are you so weak
- 15:13that you didn't manage to defeat guerrilla warfare on the ground
- 15:15in Gaza? 350 square kilometres of Wazza.
- 15:17You can recapture Hazza. You can defeat Hamas that is
- 15:20made-up of a few 10s of thousands of fighters.
- 15:23You think you you can take on Iran?
- 15:25I mean, if America couldn't take over, couldn't take over Yemen,
- 15:28you know, and the bombing campaign only lasted for seven
- 15:31weeks. And then Trump got to a
- 15:33position, very Trumpian way of dealing with things, right?
- 15:36It's like, oh, the Yemenis want to stop the war.
- 15:37And so therefore we are conceding.
- 15:39So right now America wants to really test Iran's capabilities
- 15:45on the ground and understand where it stands, not just
- 15:47relying on its intelligence reports and the rest of it.
- 15:50And each entity needs to prove itself if Iran manages to
- 15:54paralyze the Israeli occupation entity and survives this, if you
- 15:59like, almost test of an existential threat, right?
- 16:01Because you mentioned this in the beginning, Ahmed, that the
- 16:03goal is regime change and it is regime change, then Iran would
- 16:06have consolidated itself post war and Iran will emerge
- 16:10stronger, whereas the Israeli occupation entity emerging
- 16:13weaker is the final nail in the coffin.
- 16:15Israel right now is so desperate.
- 16:18Last year, Netanyahu came out and had this idea of a new
- 16:22Middle East. It's like we are the sheriffs of
- 16:24this whole region, America. And Trump is like, OK, I will
- 16:27give you everything. I will stand with you until the
- 16:29end. Even just last week, not just
- 16:32militarily speaking will give you all the ammunition that you
- 16:36need, but last week in the UN, the US administration vetoed the
- 16:41idea of a Palestinian statehood. That resolution that they tried
- 16:44to pass. Even, you know, the sanctioning
- 16:47of Benguvira smart rich, the extreme right wing within the
- 16:50entity that occurred in Europe, the sanctioning, including the
- 16:54UK. Trump was like we we disagree
- 16:57with that sanctioning. This is basically America trying
- 16:59to send a signal to Israel like we are with you until the end.
- 17:02We are supporting you, but please just like prove yourself,
- 17:05just be successful. But what happens when you go
- 17:08from protecting our interests to needing our net protection and
- 17:11you're draining us And especially someone like Trump
- 17:13who's very transactional in his approach, who doesn't like
- 17:16failures. We've seen the way that he dealt
- 17:18with someone like Zelensky, for example.
- 17:20He's like, why are we in a war with Russia that is so strong
- 17:23and this war is only weakening Ukraine and draining our
- 17:26resources? Rather than, I don't know,
- 17:28giving $300 million to Ukraine in this war, why don't we just
- 17:34strike a deal with Russia, You know, because we can actually
- 17:36get something in return from Russia.
- 17:38Trump has that propensity. So with an entity like Iran, I
- 17:41wouldn't be surprised if post war, when Israel proves itself
- 17:45to be a failure and therefore by default will shrink too much.
- 17:48It's true size, Trump will go in the direction of really
- 17:51acknowledging the true power balance on the ground, which
- 17:54includes the resistance axis. But this ultimately, this war
- 17:57was launched by Israel. And we're seeing Israel,
- 18:01obviously with America's unconditional support, but
- 18:03Israel's bearing the brunt. Israel's the collateral in this
- 18:06because we're not seeing American bases burning right
- 18:08here. We're seeing Israel suffer.
- 18:09I do agree with that and I do, I think, I think that's probably
- 18:12all in agreement. What I do think is interesting
- 18:15existentialism and I think that that comes down to the core of
- 18:18the situation is whether Iran sees it as an existential threat
- 18:23in terms of the attacks that they're now receiving, whether
- 18:25they feel that then their defence of themselves is is
- 18:29critical to their existence or not.
- 18:32And the same goes for as well as well their claims, Trump's
- 18:35claims of Iran must not have a nuclear weapons like a parrot,
- 18:39you know, a broken record. He keeps repeating the statement
- 18:41Iran must, must not have a nuclear.
- 18:44It's really, really, really annoying.
- 18:46But you know, whether it's on Twitter or anything else.
- 18:48But what I'm saying is that that comes down to the core of it,
- 18:51right? And one thing which you've
- 18:52mentioned, and you mentioned a really nice point about the
- 18:55continued varied approaches that they've tried over the course of
- 18:59decades in the region to to ascertain control, one of them
- 19:03being regime change. And we've seen that that the
- 19:06involvement within a domestic situation and we saw as in Iran
- 19:10in the early 50s with Mossadegh and all of that, you know, this
- 19:13has been a tactic which has been used for decades now, you know,
- 19:17but that question of regime change is very important.
- 19:20And I think it's no coincidence that there are individuals from
- 19:24different parts of the world who ideologically align with a free
- 19:28Iran, that being an Iran, which is, you know, a Democratic
- 19:33Republic rather than an Islamic Republic, a secular government.
- 19:38And those people are the likes of Nigel Farage, Tommy Robinson,
- 19:41you know, all of these guys, Ben Shapiro, people like that, who
- 19:44are out there and publicly supporting that.
- 19:46And these are the same people who have vested interests in
- 19:49Gulf states. For example, Jared Kushner, who
- 19:51had the affinity trust. He set up something called the
- 19:53Affinity Trust, which is, as he said in his own words, a
- 19:56corridor for Saudi investment into into Israel and Gulf State
- 20:01investment into Israel. So we're seeing a group of
- 20:04people, a demographic, a demographic of people calling
- 20:07for regime change. We're seeing the the exiled,
- 20:10so-called Crown Prince of Iran, Mr. Pahlevi, who's living in the
- 20:14US, who's releasing videos calling now's the time for
- 20:17regime change. Is that firstly like very like
- 20:22for those who are home listening?
- 20:23We're trying to be unfiltered. But also at the same time non
- 20:26bias, OK, we're trying to understand the truth of the
- 20:28issue. I know you see us as as Shia and
- 20:31what not. And, and of course we will have
- 20:34humanitarian, religious and social allegiances, maybe not
- 20:37allegiances, but especially biases, preferences.
- 20:40But something which is very important is to understand what
- 20:42is the truth of the matter. Now when it comes to the truth
- 20:45of the matter, I have like 2 or 3 related questions.
- 20:49OK, bear with me. The first being regime change
- 20:53calls in Iran. Are they legitimate in terms of
- 20:57the noise that's being made or is it amplified?
- 20:59Right, That's the first thing I'm asking.
- 21:00So the noise around regime change, is it actually as
- 21:04intense domestically as it is seen around the world?
- 21:08Anytime you hear any Western news outlet give any report,
- 21:11they're always talking about human rights abuses in Iran.
- 21:13And of course, for regime change #2 is the regime change or is,
- 21:18is the possibility of regime change a real possibility?
- 21:21Is it feasible? And is it likely, especially
- 21:24today and the day of recording, where Donald Trump has more or
- 21:28less effectively given a death threat to Ayatollah Khamenei on
- 21:31Truth Social? Is that something which is some,
- 21:34you know, something we have to mentally prepare for?
- 21:35And thirdly, if it were to happen, what would it look like?
- 21:39Right. I'll start off by saying that I
- 21:40don't think Iran is existentially threatened.
- 21:42Iran is a population of 90 million.
- 21:45You're talking about 1.5 million square kilometres.
- 21:48Compare that to the Israeli occupation entity, 27,000 square
- 21:52kilometres. You can fit 60 Israel's what
- 21:54sorry, 601948 historic Palestinians into into Iran.
- 22:01And the propensity of the two populations is entirely
- 22:05different. And we've seen that in just
- 22:07basically the course of these few days.
- 22:09Like, for example, you've seen that the very viral video of
- 22:12that Iranian news anchor who literally like a bomb had just
- 22:16struck very close by. And you know, she was saying her
- 22:19piercing words with a with a very kind of calm demeanor, but
- 22:24powerful voice. She was like commanding with her
- 22:26fingers and she just like got up so gracefully, like nothing was
- 22:30happening. Whereas if you compare that with
- 22:32the settlers, they're dying in bombshells because in in bomb
- 22:36shelters, because they're literally on top of each other
- 22:38and they're screaming and crying and, and they're afraid.
- 22:41And the whole, the whole concept right now of Israel is being
- 22:44existentially threatened because Israel is supposed to be a safe
- 22:46haven. It's supposed to be a secure
- 22:48place for these settlers. They come here guaranteeing
- 22:50that, which is why if any missile can intercept the iron
- 22:53down, the David Sling, the THAAD system, those multiple layers
- 22:56of, you know, defence, you're talking about Israel as an idea,
- 23:01as a concept. But let me ask you.
- 23:03I know, I know. I've asked you other questions.
- 23:05Yeah, coming to it. But some may.
- 23:07Let's look at this and say Iran or are sanctioned from within.
- 23:11They have domestic issues from within.
- 23:14On top of that, Israel are backed with by the most advanced
- 23:17and technologically sound air defence systems and whatnot.
- 23:20They're backed by Western funds, Europe and North America.
- 23:24What support does Iran have with the accesses in the situation it
- 23:27is? But the sanctions actually it's
- 23:30to the advantage of the I know, I.
- 23:31Think the factions of how able to build from within.
- 23:34A the tolerance and the ability to withstand and the ability to
- 23:38understand your cause and to understand that you are
- 23:40ultimately paying a price for this cause.
- 23:42And this is what it looks like. I can't receive cancer treatment
- 23:44because of the sanctions, for example.
- 23:48So there is a heightened awareness, the people understand
- 23:51the cornerstone of what this revolution represents and the
- 23:54price that needs to be paid. And my argument, which I hope
- 23:58would be just very intuitive and obvious based on what we can see
- 24:01on the ground, it's not based on ideology or preference, is the
- 24:06question. And that is, does the Islamic
- 24:08Republic of the United States today?
- 24:10And the answer to that is yes. So if America for the past four
- 24:15decades has been sanctioning Iran with the goal of causing
- 24:18regime change, so majority did not support the Islamic
- 24:21Republic. And they were the same people
- 24:23who in 1979 endured the hell of toppling the Shah in terms of
- 24:28what that meant. So coming in front of the Shah's
- 24:31tanks and hundreds and thousands were killed in the process, and
- 24:35they are paying the price. What same person would go
- 24:40through harm and pay the price for something that they don't
- 24:43support in the 1st place if they were the majority?
- 24:45That's number one. And #2 there are indications
- 24:47also. So when you look at the
- 24:50democratic process within Iran, you see that someone like our EC
- 24:55was elected into power the previous time before you had
- 24:59Possesh Kian. Yeah, the president who who last
- 25:03year was killed in the was, was tragically killed in the
- 25:06helicopter crash. He had a strong mandate of 20
- 25:09million Iranians. You're talking about someone
- 25:11who's who's. Yeah.
- 25:13So he's he's from the what they call the quote UN quote
- 25:15conservative camp. And Iran has an ability, has a
- 25:18strong ability to absorb, absorb energies.
- 25:21So you've had conservative, reformist, reformist,
- 25:23conservative. You've actually had more
- 25:25reformists in power than you have had conservatives.
- 25:28You have the supreme leader who said Ali Khamenei, who is
- 25:31elected from an assembly of experts of about 108 scholars
- 25:34who they themselves are elected by the people.
- 25:36So you can see the democratic process over here.
- 25:38It's like certain people that have an expertise to elect a
- 25:41supreme leader are elected by the people.
- 25:43And this supreme leader is constantly monitored on a if, if
- 25:48you will, hour by hour basis. And if they feel like, I don't
- 25:51know, if one day he wakes up in the morning and he decides to
- 25:53ask for lobster and crab, it's like, what are you and who have
- 25:56you become? And instantly question marks,
- 25:58right? So that monitoring is on that
- 26:00basis. He was someone who was opposed
- 26:03very openly to the JCPOA. He was opposed to the idea of
- 26:06negotiations with America. But when you look at the Iranian
- 26:09St. and you see that they elected someone like Lohani and
- 26:11someone who represents the position of Lohani, which is
- 26:14more liberal, which is more open towards the West, which looks at
- 26:17actually extending its hands out and, and, and entering into
- 26:19these agreements. What does say?
- 26:21I don't how many you say he says it's not wise to enter into
- 26:24direct negotiations with America because they'll backstab you.
- 26:27But if you need to get to that point where you have to see the
- 26:30realities for yourselves, then fine.
- 26:31I'm, I'm, I'm not going to veto this.
- 26:33I'm not going to use my power as a supreme leader to be, oh, a
- 26:36dictator, the word the West loves to use, right.
- 26:39It's like sometimes I look at the situation, I'm like, I wish
- 26:42you you were able. I wish Iran could walk the way
- 26:45you wanted it to walk because it would have removed a lot of the
- 26:49obstacles or a lot of the pitfalls that we see today.
- 26:52But the reality is it's a democracy.
- 26:56That is, that is the irony of the whole situation is that it
- 26:59is the democratic nature of the summer Republic of Iran that has
- 27:03led to shortfalls in certain areas, which have also been the
- 27:06reason for the grievances of the people as far as the economy is
- 27:10concerned. Because someone like Seydraisi
- 27:11would come and say Iran really needs to work on its domestic
- 27:14capabilities. If there's no strings attached
- 27:16with the outside world and we're fully self-sufficient and we're
- 27:19looking eastwards, this whole strategy was look eastwards
- 27:21towards China, towards Russia. Leverage those relations with
- 27:24friendly entities that are not going to blackmail you, Then you
- 27:27build your inner capabilities. And right now This is why I'm
- 27:31not very worried about Iran in this confrontation is that it's
- 27:33expertise is very strong. And all the missiles that it
- 27:36has, it's soft produced. They have that expertise.
- 27:39You, you kill a scientist, There's hundreds of other
- 27:42scientists. I was even listening to one of
- 27:45the scholars who was martyred in the attack on Friday.
- 27:48He was a nuclear scientist. He said something along the
- 27:51lines of I'm and, and, and he's like the deputy head of the
- 27:55Iranian energy Atomic Agency. And he said, you know, I've
- 28:00reached the level where I conduct interviews with you, But
- 28:03you know, it's those under me who I've trained who are doing
- 28:06the work on the ground, you know, and that's something that
- 28:10the West still still has to learn.
- 28:13I'd say they kind of know that intuitively.
- 28:16Like even the former head of Mossad, he came out today and he
- 28:19said the Iranian nation is a nation that will not surrender.
- 28:23Just look at their whole history and their ability to endure and
- 28:28withstand and tolerate pain. And it is a psychological war at
- 28:31the end of the day. That is what dictates the
- 28:34outcomes on the ground if the people give up.
- 28:36So the whole idea of cousin colour revolutions is built on
- 28:40the of propaganda, which is why the media machine is so strong.
- 28:43If you reign supreme in that propaganda, then you can topple
- 28:47governments. So for example, Someone Like You
- 28:49mentioned Mohammed Mossaddaq. I would use the argument that
- 28:52the same Islamic Republic of Iran today, the same people at
- 28:55one point the West was successful in their cooperation.
- 28:58In 1953, CIA backed with the MI 6 Mossad that that tripod, that
- 29:05tripartite aggression, if you will, in that attack that
- 29:09deposed someone that was democratically elected.
- 29:11Perhaps that represented the fact that there wasn't a strong
- 29:13leadership between the person in power and the Iranian nation.
- 29:17Because you have that same nation that right now that
- 29:20leadership hasn't toppled and the people are the majority are
- 29:23running behind it. Just look at look at, for
- 29:26example, on the 22nd of Berman. I'm sorry, I'll get to the
- 29:29point, but it's just to mention that when protests happen, OK,
- 29:33So you have like when Hajj Qasem Soleimani was, was killed, you
- 29:37had 10s of 1,000,000 on the streets.
- 29:39Every single year people come out literally in their 10s of
- 29:41millions, you know, giving their allegiance back to the
- 29:44revolutionary ideals. When Israel bombed Iran on
- 29:48Friday, you had mass protests that broke out on different
- 29:51provinces saying Iran needs to strike harder enough with
- 29:53strategic patience. You had women who weren't even
- 29:56wearing the hijab that came out and said Iran needs to develop
- 29:58an atomic bomb. That's that's the that's the
- 30:01level of rhetoric that was coming out of Iranians.
- 30:03Enough is enough of this kind. Brazen and open aggression of
- 30:05this kind only does one thing. It unites the people of a
- 30:08country. It pulls the strings of
- 30:11nationalism. Even those who might have might
- 30:14oppose the system or might oppose the government.
- 30:17In such a circumstance, the moment Naftali Bennett opens his
- 30:19mouth and says we want to encourage and prop the Iranian
- 30:23nation to turn against their leadership and against the
- 30:25government, the moment that comes out of Israel's mouth,
- 30:27they're like, we're going to change our minds.
- 30:29Like Israel has become that pariah state that it's almost
- 30:32embarrassing to be be on the same side as, which is why the
- 30:35Shahis, they have no credibility because they're encounter demos
- 30:38and they have the Israeli flag. Well, that's that's what drives
- 30:40me. Nuts.
- 30:41It's like, why are you doing signing with Israel?
- 30:43Yeah, you'll go to any level. Your people are getting bombed.
- 30:46Yeah, Yeah. You know, having a discussion
- 30:49with my wife, I was like, explain to me these people,
- 30:52like, what is wrong with them? They are happy seeing their
- 30:55country, their fellow countrymen, their women, their
- 30:57children, the Iranians being bombed, being killed, being
- 31:00massacred. What, just to topple a
- 31:03government just to side with Israel because all of this woman
- 31:06life, freedom and all this nonsense, It's an ideology I
- 31:09think I will never understand how they can operate.
- 31:12But obviously that mental state we've seen.
- 31:15Sorry, but you know, these, we've seen obviously so many, so
- 31:18many records that have come out to show that a lot of this is
- 31:22funded and a lot of these movements are funded by Mossad,
- 31:27funded by for other, other groups.
- 31:30And a lot of them are strategically placed in such a
- 31:33position where they can make as much noise as possible whenever
- 31:36possible. Even obviously in the UKI don't
- 31:39know if this is true when I can't verify, but I remember at
- 31:42the time where there were people who were on the streets here
- 31:45counter protesting, you know, five years ago when General
- 31:50Soleimani was killed. And I remember the the counter
- 31:54protest that was taking place and then it got exposed or there
- 31:57was some sort of news or rumour that a lot of these guys
- 32:00received funding or they were paid for the day to come out on
- 32:02the streets and counter protest in London.
- 32:05Now the point being is that some of this that counter protest.
- 32:08Wasn't a counter protest, it was thuggery.
- 32:10It was I I remember what they're doing in the streets of London.
- 32:12I don't know if you recall the images and the videos which is
- 32:16like I don't. Understand.
- 32:17That mentality, that thought process, how you can side with
- 32:20the genocide will stay and wave their flags proudly against your
- 32:23own people. You know, that's something I can
- 32:25understand. And it's nice to see, by the
- 32:27way, how you speak about the will of the people when it comes
- 32:30to regime change. And it's because the West, we've
- 32:32always been told, you know, Iran's oppressing the nation.
- 32:36Iran, you know, it's, it's ruling by force.
- 32:39It's like, you know, supporting terrorist organizations around
- 32:42the world, Like you've got the West Channel after channel,
- 32:46Prime Minister after Prime Minister, president after
- 32:48president saying the same, same, same narrative nonstop.
- 32:52But here we see it around in life.
- 32:55In fact, I will see. It's just growing because it's
- 32:59Iran. Like I don't know if this sounds
- 33:03right, but it's become like the father of the free world.
- 33:06Like I'm especially since objects of admiration.
- 33:09Since October the 7th like. You now represent every 3-4,
- 33:13every freeman, everyone who stands on the side of humanity.
- 33:17That means, yeah, you stand there like Israel by attacking.
- 33:20Iran has made the world love, has made them more popular.
- 33:23Right. And you're seeing a lot and even
- 33:24like when I read comments and. Things online, I'm like, OK, you
- 33:26you people would have never sided with that's that's exactly
- 33:29what would. Have never said you know what?
- 33:31Iran has the right to defend itself even in this current
- 33:33situation. But because you saw the stance
- 33:35Iran took when it came against the genocidal state and how they
- 33:38supported the oppressed people beyond Palestine, you're like,
- 33:42no, no, no, no. Now I see how be smarter.
- 33:45And I feel like Iran offers clarity to this, you know,
- 33:48confused world. We're seeing that a lot.
- 33:50And I. Think this especially like even
- 33:52with non-muslim non Shia western I'm talking about this your.
- 33:55Whitest Man Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 33:57Someone who's I mean. People who?
- 33:59Just do it. Hashtag is just.
- 34:01Just do it. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 34:02And you know what's interesting that I'll be honest, there are
- 34:04people who who disagree with things about the Iranian
- 34:07government and look whatever is to their own and especially the
- 34:11Islamic angle of things. So for example, those who are
- 34:13pro LGBT or whatever. OK, So for the example of Owen
- 34:17Jones, all right, Owen Jones has been one of the most vocal guys
- 34:19and Palestine, whatever, whatever, you know, he's he's
- 34:21proactive, he's activist on that sort of thing.
- 34:23But he and others alike have been very pro Iran in, in that
- 34:27regards. And and others on different kind
- 34:29of sides of the political spectrum ideologically have been
- 34:33siding with Iran generally. And that's not to give them
- 34:37credibility. But I do think that that is that
- 34:39it just shows that it's not a group of people who are all
- 34:43ideologically aligned, but there's a diverse nature of
- 34:45people from different backgrounds, cultures,
- 34:47demographics. People are walking up.
- 34:49Yeah, trust me, they've walking. Up, I did want to ask you.
- 34:52Because look, this is as I said earlier, Iran is not a small
- 34:55fish. So it's not the resistance in
- 34:58Lebanon, it's not Gaza, it's government, it's military, it's
- 35:01state, it's massive, it's a massive country.
- 35:04Declared war. You've declared war on
- 35:06civilization state. Quite literally.
- 35:07And you know, if you just look at the number of countries it
- 35:09borders alone, it's it's astronomical the size of the
- 35:12country. Now, I think it's interesting
- 35:15when you compare Iran to the likes of Turkey or Pakistan, at
- 35:19least in terms of military, military capability, Iran is
- 35:22very similar to these countries. Granted, Pakistan has nukes and
- 35:28the others don't, but I think it's interesting at least
- 35:31diplomatically how these countries are aligning with
- 35:34Iran. Now other one has come out and
- 35:36and spoken against Israel. Obviously, you know, that's a
- 35:39different conversation in terms of other one.
- 35:41Pakistan has assisted Iranian pilgrims in coming back from
- 35:46Hajj, you know, and the Iranian parliament is chanting in unison
- 35:50to Shakur, to Pakistan. And you know, there's they're
- 35:52giving support to Pakistan and and vice versa.
- 35:55But I think it's also noteworthy that on a kind of grander scale,
- 36:01the whole region changes if Iran is toppled or if Iran is backs
- 36:05down because then if it could be them, it could be us.
- 36:09And anyone is then at threat to this expansionism that we've
- 36:12spoken about. Do you think that there is risk
- 36:15of escalation to a wider regional war?
- 36:18We've, I mean, how most of the regions evolve in this anyway
- 36:21now overtly or covertly, and especially in terms of the
- 36:26global scale, people asking what about Russia, what about China,
- 36:30what about the US, what about European nations?
- 36:32Of course, we've seen that there's been a lot of activity
- 36:35in terms of flights from Cyprus from all over around the world
- 36:38have been coming in. I've had reports of, of military
- 36:42aid from China. What, what can we expect to
- 36:44happen if things stay as they are on today's date of filming,
- 36:47You know, in the coming weeks? It's a question.
- 36:50That, one needs to ask, is Trump the kind of man that wants to
- 36:53see his regional assets on fire? You know, is Trump willing to
- 36:57risk that American bases completely being obliterated?
- 37:02Trump in my assessment is not that kind of Trump in my
- 37:06assessment, is not really in line even with the American deep
- 37:10state and its approach to things.
- 37:12Trump, as we've mentioned, is quite transactional in his
- 37:15nature. When he came to the Persian Gulf
- 37:17area, he struck deals worth 4 to 5 trillion.
- 37:21We're talking about astronomical numbers.
- 37:24He wants to leverage economically.
- 37:26He wants America to be this entity that the world depends on
- 37:32for exports. Why is it just China that
- 37:35manufacturers and manages to, you know, ship all of its
- 37:39products abroad? America needs to be that.
- 37:41So we're going to launch a global war tariff so that so
- 37:46that we kind of create a situation within America that
- 37:49encourages domestic manufacturing.
- 37:53And exactly. So he wants to strengthen
- 37:55America inside and his way of dealing with the external world
- 37:58is different to the American deep state.
- 38:00So for example, even someone like Trump, he cut US aid.
- 38:03US aid is basically billions of dollars that are put on the side
- 38:06for covert operations to cause regime change.
- 38:08So I think one of you mentioned like the NGOs that America
- 38:12supports to kind of penetrate into the fabric of the society
- 38:18and to change hearts and minds. So like in Lebanon, for example,
- 38:20you'll find that NGOs probably employ the majority of the
- 38:23people and they spin this idea against the summit resistance of
- 38:26Lebanon to turn the people against them.
- 38:27It's really a psychological war. Trump, when he came into power,
- 38:30he completely slashed that he was not fond of US aid.
- 38:33It's not his strategy of dealing with things.
- 38:34His strategy is you don't bow down to what I say.
- 38:36And that's the crux of his issue with Iran.
- 38:38It's it's very much with the uranium.
- 38:41We see that it's like, you don't want to like stop enriching
- 38:44uranium. I'm going to make you bow down.
- 38:46It's it's that kind of approach of not being concerned with the
- 38:49Yeah, exactly. It's we want you to surrender.
- 38:52We want you to bow down. And that becomes a problem for
- 38:55Trump when I mean, if just if Iran listened to Trump's letter
- 39:00and like responded to it, it just say that he didn't put his
- 39:02letter behind his backside in, in 2019, things would be very
- 39:06different. America's the kind of person or
- 39:08Trump's the kind of person that's willing to put Iran as
- 39:10like the Prince of the whole region, Just if it gives it
- 39:12attention, like Trump is begging, Trump is running behind
- 39:15Iran for that. We know how Trump differs when
- 39:18it comes to NATO, for example, reducing American support for
- 39:21NATO or upsurging Europe's support or their share in paying
- 39:25like 5% GDP. It's important to understand the
- 39:28mentality of Trump as this kind of businessman and this
- 39:31transactional bargaining of recklessness is is.
- 39:33Is is probably his the most dangerous thing about him?
- 39:36So he's transactional and you know what not.
- 39:39But a lot of people ask is his recklessness more of a risk than
- 39:42anything else? But he's not.
- 39:44Getting what he wants when he. Throw this toys out the problem.
- 39:47But as far as this war. Is concerned, as we've seen it
- 39:49so far, Israel's the one that's bearing the brunt.
- 39:52And I would make the argument that Trump isn't Even so
- 39:54invested in Israel. Trump is not in Trump is not an
- 39:57ideological in the way that someone like Biden is a Zionist
- 40:01that would say there's no Israel would have to invent in Israel.
- 40:03Trump looks at is like a military base that's like, okay,
- 40:05serving our interests, leverage. Trump is the kind of guy who's
- 40:08like, we want to withdraw Syria, we want to withdraw of Iraq.
- 40:12Trump's strategy for the region. And by the way, he has
- 40:14criticized the war Hawks from the Democrats, the likes of
- 40:17Hillary Clinton, like, oh, if I was in power, they wouldn't have
- 40:19been the war in Iraq. Like he historically goes down
- 40:22to be against the war in Iraq. Why?
- 40:23Because he looks at it from a transactional perspective and
- 40:25he's like, we spent $7 trillion in Iraq.
- 40:28Do you know what we could have done with that 7 trillion?
- 40:31Like until today, like he, just like he envies that money that
- 40:35was lost, not the lives that were killed, the money that was
- 40:37lost. So likewise, when I look at the
- 40:40kind of especially the kind of guy Trump is, I don't think he's
- 40:43willing to risk his regional assets being on via AB.
- 40:47There's no credibility whatsoever for the West waging
- 40:50this kind of war. It's not like the world has
- 40:52bought the idea that Iran is a threat and Israel has completely
- 40:56been exposed. And American support has become
- 40:58a source of shame and embarrassment for Israel as
- 41:01well, which is why one of the first things Trump did when he
- 41:04came into power, because he actually stopped the war in
- 41:05Gaza, Like he brought it to a halt because he's like, this is
- 41:08just a failure. But then he was kind of
- 41:10pressured to restart the war. And I think it was around March
- 41:13when he felt like the resistance, OK, it's too strong.
- 41:15Like it's becoming embarrassing with this PR stunts where they
- 41:19take these hostages out and they're very well clothed and
- 41:21all these ceremonies that were happening.
- 41:23And like, you know, you just got guys, the militants from Hamas
- 41:25just roaming the streets of Azza and and they have the upper hand
- 41:28in the negotiations. We want to restore some kind of
- 41:30deterrence. And the Trump introduced the
- 41:32idea of the Riviera of Raza and the depopulation plans of Raza.
- 41:35And it's like Israel tried to fatten itself up through
- 41:39expansionism into Lebanon that failed.
- 41:41Its military strategy is not failing.
- 41:43Let's try the depopulation plan. OK, under military fire, if the
- 41:46Raza always become under more genocide, they might just agree.
- 41:49So so Trump is is that kind of guy in how he facilitates.
- 41:53He's not conventionally a proponent of militarism, which I
- 41:57know sounds contradictory when you look at the situation today.
- 42:00But even when it comes to Yemen, Yemen was protesting autism.
- 42:03But he. Doesn't align with that.
- 42:04He doesn't. And Yemen was a.
- 42:05Testing. And he stopped it.
- 42:06Yeah. I mean he, he came.
- 42:08In, and one of the, one of the things on his mandate was to end
- 42:10both wars in Ukraine and obviously in Gaza.
- 42:13And he's now, he's now stuck with three, which is kind of
- 42:16ironic, but I know what you mean.
- 42:17And obviously we sought the, the, the, the, the, the kind of
- 42:21MO of Biden and the MO of the Democrats in comparison to what
- 42:25we're seeing now as Trump is completely different.
- 42:27Of course, Trump is louder. He's more confident.
- 42:29He's more vocal with his support, but Biden was very
- 42:32slippery and snaky in the way he did things.
- 42:34And I think that administration, you know, good riddance for them
- 42:37and everything, they stood. Yeah.
- 42:37One thing you see by Trump? I think, I don't think we
- 42:39mentioned it in the last few minutes, is that there's an ego
- 42:42element to him. Like if you come across his his
- 42:45tweets and the way he discusses this nuclear deal and things
- 42:48like this, it's like, I gave you 60 days.
- 42:50I this, I that I this like he feels like, as you said earlier,
- 42:54like we need to bow down to him like he's that sort of man.
- 42:57But I don't think one should take Trump seriously.
- 43:00I agree. That's the.
- 43:01Statement because to me. He's got bipolar.
- 43:04To me, he's like everything. He's got a different well, the
- 43:06guy's messed. Man on this he chats from his
- 43:08backside. Yeah, if you was.
- 43:10If you if you have to describe Donald Trump in one word, would
- 43:13it be so? It depends.
- 43:15What angle you take from him? I'd say he's actually very
- 43:18charismatic. Come on.
- 43:20That's. One.
- 43:20No, I know you mean I don't say he's.
- 43:22A genuine. Leader, do you know, actually
- 43:24he's a genuine leader in the sense that I know this sounds
- 43:27like I'm praising him, but. It's a suffer and.
- 43:29It's an attribute. He's actually.
- 43:31Popular. I, I am of the belief that the
- 43:35deep state tried to get rid of him.
- 43:37They, they genuinely wanted to assassinate him because he's not
- 43:39in line with their idea and their trajectory.
- 43:41So even the whole coming into Syria or handing over Syria to
- 43:45the Israeli occupation entity and releasing those HTS rats
- 43:48that we just saw them come into power like that.
- 43:50That was kind of like before almost pre empting Trump coming
- 43:54in and wanted to create an obstacle in the face of Trump
- 43:57coming into power. Or for example, Biden, just like
- 43:59literally a month before his tenure stopped, you know,
- 44:02increasing all that militarism and that support to Ukraine is
- 44:05to almost put obstacles in front of Trump, knowing the
- 44:07disposition of Trump to to, for example, withdraw from Syria to
- 44:11stop the war in Ukraine. He's not on the same side of the
- 44:14deep state. He's changing America from
- 44:15within. And the scary part about all of
- 44:17this is that Trump has a strong mandate from the people and that
- 44:20genuinely the he's got a base that believes in what he says.
- 44:24Because also the way that he talks is quite appealing to the
- 44:27population. He talks about their issues,
- 44:30talks. About the.
- 44:31Economic situation, he talks about stopping wars and he and
- 44:35he's meaningful when it comes to that.
- 44:36I just want to say one quick thing about this specific war in
- 44:39my assessment, even like green lighting this war in a way, if
- 44:44someone truly cared about Israel, they wouldn't green
- 44:46light this war because it's well suiciding right now.
- 44:48And this is an important point. So even to me it's an indication
- 44:52like allowing Israel to go into this kind of war against this
- 44:55Republic of Iran. You can even take of Azza what
- 44:58you think you can take off this this kind of population like you
- 45:02actually do not understand the mentality of the Iranians when
- 45:05Wahidi, who's now the head of the Harris, the IRGC comes out
- 45:08and says you started this war, but we will end it.
- 45:11Like there's actually no limit to this war, so to speak.
- 45:15Like pedestrian might be the diplomatic 1 and come out and
- 45:17says when you guys stop your aggression, we'll stop our
- 45:19aggression. But Iran will not forget this.
- 45:21Iran will never forget the aggression that happened on
- 45:25Friday by the Israeli occupation entity and it's proven itself on
- 45:28the ground. So if really if America cared
- 45:31about Israel, it wouldn't allow it to suicide itself like that.
- 45:35So this is almost like let Israel fend for itself and let
- 45:37Israel prove itself. That's the way that I see it.
- 45:40And even you find those internally within the Israeli
- 45:42occupation entity, you find the contradictions are very deep.
- 45:44So it's not difficult to imagine Trump butting heads with
- 45:47Netanyahu when within Israel they were butting heads,
- 45:49basically. No, just on this point you.
- 45:51Mentioned you call to the IRGC and you said where they said
- 45:56there is no limit to this, we will end it.
- 45:59What does that mean? How do we understand that to how
- 46:02far with Iran go in this war? Is it going to remain a tit for
- 46:06tat? You attack our military
- 46:07sensitive sites, We attack your military sensitive sites or
- 46:10would they go further beyond? And I also want to act add in
- 46:13addition to this question, is that the the resistance axis,
- 46:18like we saw, for example, when it came to Hezbollah, got
- 46:21involved. The Lebanese resistance, we saw
- 46:24when it came to Syria many, many years ago, when Iran was
- 46:30involved, Hezbollah came and got involved.
- 46:34Now the resistors axis, are they going to come and stand and
- 46:38support Iran when it comes to confronting this aggression by
- 46:41Israel? Yeah, it is.
- 46:43To what? Limit would they go as it?
- 46:44Is it going to remain? It's a real question people ask.
- 46:47To what extent is Iran going to defend itself?
- 46:50What is it going to take to stop Israel from occupying Palestine?
- 46:54Because if Iran says we will stand against the oppression of
- 46:59Palestinians until there's a free Palestine, what does that
- 47:02mean? How do we understand that?
- 47:04Again, it's the same. Iran that says that the Israeli
- 47:06occupation entity will collapse and Zionism will cease to exist.
- 47:10And said Ali Khamenei says it in a way like it's a reality that
- 47:13has happened almost it's it's like it's like when said Abbas
- 47:16Al Moswi, the former head of the resistance, would say Israel
- 47:19Sakath. Israel has fallen.
- 47:21He didn't say it will fall. SATA Scott.
- 47:23He says sakat. Yeah.
- 47:25And it's nullifying its own its own self destruction.
- 47:28Exactly. It's.
- 47:29A really self defeated, but also it's that same Iran, that same
- 47:33Iran that says that is not the Iran that initiated the war and
- 47:36it's the Iran that's reacting to the war.
- 47:38And when Seth Hassanathullah was asked specifically, like, how
- 47:41would the ending of Israel look, you said the settlers will pack
- 47:44their bags and leave. I don't imagine there's going to
- 47:47be this, you know, like Swedes of like this today.
- 47:51By the way, I've seen Forager, for example, sellers packing
- 47:54their bags and crazy in a car and flee.
- 47:55By the way, they're fleeing too. Yeah, I know the the minister.
- 47:59Of transport announced today that they're not allowed.
- 48:02Like Israeli citizens are not allowed to evacuate.
- 48:04Really. Yeah.
- 48:05So. So that was a strong statement
- 48:06that she made basically. And then Gorian airport is shut
- 48:10as well, but it was obviously shut because it's under eminent
- 48:14danger. It's shut indefinitely.
- 48:16Actually Haifa port is being struck.
- 48:18So as well as technically in a state of besiegement when the
- 48:21air and the sea, the two like Iran has 13 countries that
- 48:25border it. Compare that with these really
- 48:27ugly. Iran is not besieged as well is
- 48:29technically besieged and Iran has the ability to inflict that
- 48:31level of that harm. So as far as the reality on the
- 48:35ground is concerned, that is how the resistance pictures the
- 48:40Israeli occupation entity falling and say that also the
- 48:44last words he said on his last speech was Netanyahu will take
- 48:48the Kayan Ilahafatahawya. He will take it to the to the
- 48:51abyss. You don't realize, but this very
- 48:54man Netanyahu is killing you. Like if you care about your own
- 48:58self preservation, you'll you'll get rid of this man because this
- 49:02man is hawkish in his nature. He cares about his interests.
- 49:05He cares about elongating the wall so he can stay in power.
- 49:08He's self preserving. He's corrupt.
- 49:10It's of interest. That's why you, you even had
- 49:12someone like Gallant, who was his war minister, who he deposed
- 49:17and he put cats in power. Gallant told him last year,
- 49:20don't even go into Lebanon. That's too.
- 49:22That's too much of A. Imagine trying.
- 49:25Iran, the head of all of this, Like, what are you?
- 49:29You don't know who you're messing with.
- 49:31I think that's that's the key point.
- 49:32You don't know who you're messing with when you say you
- 49:35don't know who. You're messing with, is it
- 49:36because the Iranians are, because they have a certain
- 49:38ideology? But both Both.
- 49:41I mean, the Iranian temperament in my assessment is worse than
- 49:44even the Yemeni temperament. The Yemenis are quite like,
- 49:50they're quite hot temp, like they want to do things quickly
- 49:53and decisively. And it's like we'll strike
- 49:54missiles with missiles. That's like the very Husseini
- 49:57approach, right? But it's more difficult to have
- 50:01to play the long game. This is the thing can play.
- 50:04They can play the long game. And obviously we've seen the the
- 50:06one thing which is ambiguous about Iran now is there's no
- 50:09clear cut evidence or proof as to how many missiles they have,
- 50:14how many have been produced. Some say thousands, some say
- 50:1610s, if not hundreds of thousands of missiles within
- 50:19Iran. And obviously we're seeing them
- 50:21on the mistake in play They're. The first or second biggest
- 50:24stockpile of missiles in the world, Yeah, and if I'm.
- 50:26Not mistaken as well. They've only they've only
- 50:29they've started quite, quite strategically in the sense of
- 50:32getting rid of old stock, OK, using it to target areas to
- 50:35determine whether though they are key zones using the system.
- 50:39The radar system, yeah. And seeing what?
- 50:41Can be penetrated and whether there's an area of weakness,
- 50:43which then they can use hypersonic missiles or whatever
- 50:45it might be to attack with. And of course, we discussed this
- 50:48purely from an analytical and, you know, talking about the
- 50:52military capabilities. But I do think it's interesting
- 50:56because they're they're playing it, as you said, like they're
- 50:58getting ready for the long game. They're getting ready for the
- 51:01long war. They're being very, there's a
- 51:04word in Ordo, which is probably not useful, but they're being, I
- 51:09don't want to say stingy. Maybe what's the word I'm
- 51:13looking for? I don't know.
- 51:14They're being careful with, you know, resourceful, one could say
- 51:18with the way they use their munitions.
- 51:20Also manufacturing in the. Meantime, I add, like your mom
- 51:23has the expertise, like right now as we're talking, they are
- 51:26producing more and more and more and they have the ability and
- 51:28they have the modus operandi and they have, they can do that on
- 51:31mass like Russia and it's war with Ukraine relied on Iranian
- 51:35drones. It's like they put their
- 51:37conventional weapons on the side and they said we need those
- 51:39quick effective ones that can deter and that can strike with
- 51:42precision and has the ability to execute in that kind of way.
- 51:46What I do think is 1. Thing I do want to can I know
- 51:48we're coming towards the end I do want to talk about the wider
- 51:52picture of Islam of of the the Sunni Shia divide in this and
- 51:57also kind of the position of Muslim mean and what Manin
- 52:00firstly and a couple of messages for my brother's sisters home.
- 52:03Firstly Shia Muslims at home, Shia Muslims around the world
- 52:07keep your DAR positive keep praying for the whole of the
- 52:10awaited Imam Ajallahu da Alavaruddin Sharif because
- 52:13obviously we await his arrival, his perfect system of justice
- 52:17and his a vengeance for the death of his grandfather ABBA
- 52:21Abdullah Hussain in Salaam, whose days we are entering now.
- 52:24And if you don't know about this and you're listening to after
- 52:27mocking him for the first time and you're listening to this
- 52:28fantastic discussion with an incredible guest, then go out
- 52:32and research about Imam Al Hussain.
- 52:34Imam Hussain who died in the year 61 age in the battle of
- 52:37Karbala. Make sure you hear this because
- 52:38if we have a principle of justice, and if you keep hearing
- 52:42the Iranians in their conversations talk about this,
- 52:44I'm saying go and research who that is because I think that
- 52:46will guide you towards understanding what their
- 52:48principle of justice is, or at least what they, you know, claim
- 52:52to be guided by. Secondly, a message to all of
- 52:56the haters, OK, the snakes and the spineless backstabbers on
- 53:01social media, especially those who are out there in the
- 53:04comments saying, oh, the Shia and the Jew are killing each
- 53:07other. Yeah, bro, shut up.
- 53:09We don't want to hear you. We don't want to see your
- 53:11comments anymore, OK? Especially when your states,
- 53:14your scholars have been out there and they've done nothing
- 53:18but, you know, fuel the fire and support the aggressor, the
- 53:21oppressor. You have no position here,
- 53:24honestly, and especially when if you stand for nothing, you will
- 53:28kneel to anything. And I mean that.
- 53:30And we've seen what the Quran, what the Ruyad say about people
- 53:33like you in the records of history.
- 53:35We've seen how Allah speaks about people like this in
- 53:38history, that these are the people, they don't know who
- 53:40they're dealing with. You know, we are the sons of
- 53:42Aliyam, Nabi, Talib Ali Salam, the inheritors of Karbala.
- 53:45This is what we do. Do you see what I mean?
- 53:48This is something which is built in us from birth.
- 53:51We are Hosseini by our nature and when we need to be, we will
- 53:55be Sajadi by our nature. You know, we will be Hassani by
- 53:59our nature and we know how to play the game.
- 54:00I'm sorry. They're both.
- 54:03They're both martyred and this is.
- 54:04Something which we are taught from birth, understanding
- 54:07activism in this different form. They weren't soft.
- 54:10They. Weren't soft.
- 54:10They were. Activists, whether they were
- 54:12activists with the sword at all times or not, but something
- 54:15which we've been raised with, something which we learn by is
- 54:18that you never let the oppressed feel alone.
- 54:21You never ever let that happen. And that's something which we
- 54:23believe in passionately, unlike those who covertly and overtly
- 54:27are supporting the Zionist entity in what they're doing.
- 54:30They're housing air bases. They're they're funnelling funds
- 54:33towards investment in into their Greater Israel project.
- 54:37These guys stand for nothing. And the Madhali scholars out
- 54:39there who say that there's no harm, there's no harm in
- 54:43supporting this entity or there's no harm in sipping my
- 54:46Starbucks coffee. Bro, shut up.
- 54:48Honestly, I don't hear these guys anymore.
- 54:50It's been 2 years nearly since the start of this genocide in in
- 54:53Palestine and we're still seeing these guys in High High Park
- 54:55Corner and all of these places making noise on social media.
- 54:58Are they on the front? Pages.
- 55:00No. Quite frankly, you turn the
- 55:01front page right now, but it's not Google.
- 55:03You'll see, said Ali. Harm in his face.
- 55:05You'll see the head of the the Those are the people shaping,
- 55:08not just the region. But the world.
- 55:10These Madhalis and what have you, you've given them too much
- 55:13credit. But even mentally I agree.
- 55:14But it's just. It's so relevant.
- 55:15Well, a lot. Of them it's.
- 55:16Frustrating when you imagine the fact that you have, you know, if
- 55:19the Arab world theoretically forget even the wider Muslim
- 55:22world, if the Arab world came together, 500 million people
- 55:25united in in diplomacy, lighted in the United military and
- 55:29strategy and spirituality. What force could that be?
- 55:31And This is why there's a divine and conquer system in place,
- 55:34because they know that this is a force that could not be reckoned
- 55:37with had it come together, had the people, had the Muslim mean
- 55:40the mini in all these different states.
- 55:42And don't get me wrong, the majority of assassin or Jamal
- 55:44have been incredible, I think in the cause and the fight and
- 55:46justice. But I'm specifically talking
- 55:49about these Gulf nations and those who are supporting them,
- 55:51the scholars who are funding that, the Wahhabi ideology which
- 55:53props that and the West is behind.
- 55:55All of that. I think that's the key over
- 55:58here, Like how the West, even when you look at Wahhabism as an
- 56:01ideology to protect Alisar Odd is designed in in this way
- 56:05because Alisar Odd is relevant to the British.
- 56:09Have you been? Following Daniel, have you seen
- 56:12any of his work recently? He's been doing since with the.
- 56:16He's finished like he's have you.
- 56:17Seen his stuff? He's crack.
- 56:19Like, you know, he's actually looking for the truth.
- 56:22Yeah, he is, and I rate. That about him, you know, and I,
- 56:24you know, like I kind of want to shut him out.
- 56:26Was taking many with him on a journey.
- 56:28He has, and I think he. Himself is on a journey compared
- 56:30to where he was a few years ago and he did a 3 1/2 hour
- 56:32documentary on Wahhabism. And I think if I'm not mistaken,
- 56:35he's doing more coming out. And he kind of tackled it from
- 56:37the point of the scholarly books, the books of the, the,
- 56:40the early scholars of Salafism. And it looks at Esta Gratha and
- 56:44all of these different things. And, and he's linked it now to
- 56:47modern day Salafism and how you have kind of two bands within it
- 56:50from his assessment. And you've got the Madkali
- 56:52groups and then you've got the, the, the Wahhabi groups and so
- 56:55on and so forth. And I think that's, you know,
- 56:58just I wanted to ask people at home, go and check that out.
- 57:00It's worth watching. Very interesting documentary
- 57:02from one of our Sony brothers. And obviously we take everything
- 57:05with a pinch of salt, but it's it's interesting to understand
- 57:08that even within different groups, there's infighting.
- 57:11Obviously we don't believe in this.
- 57:12We believe that we should stand with our brothers.
- 57:14Middlemont minions says your brothers and faith are equal in
- 57:16humanity. I know say this is something we
- 57:18talk about a lot. We do, and I.
- 57:19Think many share the frustrations you've shared now
- 57:21in the last few minutes. And I would go on to add as well
- 57:24that from all of this, from from let's say October 7th onwards, I
- 57:27would say in fact, the Muslim world has actually become more
- 57:29open. I agree.
- 57:31I feel like people have understood, if I can say it this
- 57:34way, that the Shia don't just stand for themselves.
- 57:36No, they stand for everyone, right?
- 57:38They whether you're, whether you're Sunni, whether you're
- 57:41Christian, as long as you know you, you, you want hack, we'll
- 57:45embrace you. We will stand for you.
- 57:47And we see it. We have to.
- 57:49We have. To principle and I I see it
- 57:52from. This way and you you see you're
- 57:55talking about these I don't know people non-stop that comment and
- 57:59leave these Shia. I hate if we can say even until,
- 58:03well, I don't bring names, but there's a lot of prominent names
- 58:07in in the Sunni world, for example, on Twitter on X who are
- 58:10very active when it comes to, for example, saying, for
- 58:13example, who's enjoying the fireworks display.
- 58:15Like there's always sarcasm. Even though they know Iran is
- 58:19fighting for haka. Iran is standing for haka.
- 58:21Iran is, you know, going head to head face to face with with
- 58:24Shayan. I would say, yeah, you would you
- 58:27because they're Shia. They could they just they just
- 58:30can't. But I see the masses of the
- 58:31people. I know their opinions are
- 58:33changing. I know the, the hearts are
- 58:35opening. And I see even like you
- 58:37mentioned, certain Gulf countries and things like this
- 58:39and then Arab world in the Middle East.
- 58:41This isn't some of those countries, my bro.
- 58:44They're coming out on their masses and they're saying we see
- 58:47it for what it is. In fact, in fact, we apologize
- 58:51and we are ashamed and embarrassed that these are our
- 58:54leaders and some of these people are our scholars.
- 58:56Like there is this recognition now there is Huckabee's battle.
- 58:59It's clear. I, I, I think there is enough
- 59:01clarity in the Muslim world just from October 7th and beyond to
- 59:04understand where Hak lies. And I would say, as you said,
- 59:07you invite them to understand who's Hussein is, I'll invite
- 59:10you to understand what happens. Ali, Omar Hakwal, Hakumar Ali.
- 59:14And I think even like I would say, you know, in the very
- 59:17beginning I was like, this means a lot to me because it brings it
- 59:19home as a Shiite Muslim when it comes to Iran.
- 59:25I from my perspective, it represents the Shia world
- 59:28politically, militarily, even in terms of our stances, the most
- 59:32basic things such as Hey, Hartman nadila, these are things
- 59:34we all align with. These are our values.
- 59:36We share these principles, we share all of this, right?
- 59:40But there is something unique when it comes to the Shia world.
- 59:43It's like you're not just I, I, I would say you have God behind
- 59:47you. Rasoolallah prayed for you.
- 59:49When Rasoolallah lifted the hands of a mere Al Mamminian on
- 59:52the Ghadir and he said Mankhuntu Mahallah, Father Ali Mahallah,
- 59:55he made he said Allahu Mawali Manwala to add even other one
- 59:59Solomon Nasser that to give aid and victory to those who aid and
- 1:00:03support. I live in a bit.
- 1:00:04I live come to your own understand that there is a
- 1:00:08greater picture. It's not about country, it's not
- 1:00:10about borders. It goes far beyond like this is
- 1:00:13a resistance against Shayatan. Ultimately at the end of the
- 1:00:17day, Israel Shaytan who are who are the leaders of Israel.
- 1:00:20They're a bunch of thugs in suits.
- 1:00:22You know they're I need they're nothing if you see them for what
- 1:00:25they are. Don't be afraid of them.
- 1:00:27Stand up to them. It's, it's, it's, it's taken a
- 1:00:29long journey even for myself to understand this whole thing.
- 1:00:32Like I, I remember we had the previous conversation, I said
- 1:00:34this is something so new to me that it, it had to take October
- 1:00:387th for me to understand the greater picture of what's
- 1:00:41happening behind the scenes when it comes to Zionism and you
- 1:00:44know, the Western world, how they push in the narrative
- 1:00:46around the world. We just need to be careful.
- 1:00:49Can I and understand it more? Can I ask sister?
- 1:00:51I think a beautiful point said, but just on what the said said
- 1:00:54in terms of like a mentality shift in education kind of as a
- 1:00:57final point for people at home, what would you advise in terms
- 1:01:00of strong and reliable resources to read into, OK, both
- 1:01:04historical and kind of contemporary?
- 1:01:06Where can I look to for my day-to-day news where I know I'm
- 1:01:08getting unfiltered realistic truth?
- 1:01:12Yeah. Yeah.
- 1:01:13Subscribe. And secondly, any message of
- 1:01:17hope or anything that you want to advise to people at home.
- 1:01:19Sure. On the question about like the
- 1:01:22whole shit, suddenly I would just implore people to really
- 1:01:25understand what Muhammadi Islam was literally like.
- 1:01:28Look at the Serie of the Prophet and understand and understand
- 1:01:32what Mecca was like and understand what Medina was like.
- 1:01:35And then you'll see that the silent Republic and the
- 1:01:37besiegement and the sanctioning that it's going through is a
- 1:01:39prototype of that. It's like it's, it's, it's going
- 1:01:42through the same journey that the Prophet himself went through
- 1:01:44when he established Medina, an Islamic government there.
- 1:01:47That's really important because for me, it's not a matter of
- 1:01:50Shia, Sunni. You can have a passive version
- 1:01:52of Shiism or you could have a version of Sunnism that is a
- 1:01:56genuine threat. But if it understands the more
- 1:01:59the Muhammadi Islam. So someone like say that how
- 1:02:02many I remember I was reading how he was actually inspired by
- 1:02:06Hassan Denna, who was the head of the Muslim Brotherhood at the
- 1:02:08time due to the strong foundational ideology that he
- 1:02:13had of an Islam that was transformational, an Islam that
- 1:02:16didn't just hide in people's homes, but an Islam that was in
- 1:02:18power. Whether you agree with that
- 1:02:20model or that system of I don't know.
- 1:02:22For example, it's the idea that Islam is infiltrated in the
- 1:02:27public sphere. Islam has a say.
- 1:02:29Islam does not allow the arrogant powers to and and and
- 1:02:33we were talking at a time before we were talking about time, the
- 1:02:36Barfel declaration in the 20s. That's when hasn't been there
- 1:02:38was was was prominent and even someone like say it's cut up,
- 1:02:41for example, and and his works on the establishment of an
- 1:02:45Islamic government was you know, instead.
- 1:02:46I like how many is prison cell who'd read those kinds of books.
- 1:02:49This was prior to the revolution.
- 1:02:50Yeah exactly. So for them, if you had a
- 1:02:54brotherhood, if if it wasn't the Islamic Republic of Iran, if it
- 1:02:57wasn't ACA entity that was in power, if it wasn't a
- 1:02:59brotherhood in power that was doing the same actions as Iran,
- 1:03:01that would become the problematic issue.
- 1:03:04It's are you again, it's the same modus operandi of are you
- 1:03:07resisting or are you capitulating?
- 1:03:09You know that's it. But obviously over here we're
- 1:03:11talking about that Husseini spirit.
- 1:03:13He had Minadilla be the foundational basis, the
- 1:03:15constitution for the revolution, which is what makes it so unique
- 1:03:20in that sense. That's the first part.
- 1:03:22The second part, I think you asked, well, what are the
- 1:03:24resources if. You're asking in terms of.
- 1:03:26News, there's good news outlets that exist that relay
- 1:03:31information if you're interested in the region of West Asia and
- 1:03:36you can add some of course, and you as well.
- 1:03:38So you've got like the cradle, for example.
- 1:03:40It's it's it's a really good outlet when it comes to
- 1:03:43analytical posts specifically on like Palestine resistance.
- 1:03:46You have resistance news network, which is really good to
- 1:03:48follow. It'll give you like the updates
- 1:03:50as they come. You have other outlets like El
- 1:03:53Maya Dean also. So those are English speaking.
- 1:03:56You have really good podcasts that, for example, I listen to
- 1:04:01where I hear like top CIA analysts.
- 1:04:05Maybe not. CIA so if I was.
- 1:04:08Talking about like proper politics, like politics
- 1:04:11podcasts. I was gonna get, yeah, yeah, I
- 1:04:14know what I mean, proper. So there's like dialogues works.
- 1:04:19That's one that I will shout out.
- 1:04:20I listen to them every single day.
- 1:04:22They've got someone. Dialogue works.
- 1:04:24Dialogue works. It's hosted by an Iranian called
- 1:04:27Nima Hoshid. He brings like Larry Johnson,
- 1:04:32Colonel Wilkinson, Chast Freeman, Alex Craner, like he's
- 1:04:36talking about like people that were like, one of them was like
- 1:04:40the Secretary of State at the time of the first British
- 1:04:43administration. You're talking about market
- 1:04:46analysts, those who are in the like heat of the thing, they'll
- 1:04:53bring you the meat. Like they'll tell you like my
- 1:04:54insider sources say X&Y. So they're worth following if
- 1:04:58you're like interested in the meat press is really good.
- 1:05:01Double down news. Yeah, double down news is good.
- 1:05:03There's a few. Apolitical as an A slash
- 1:05:07political they, which is Matt Kennard does this who came to
- 1:05:10our venue does this. He does frequent podcasts with
- 1:05:14with those who align and those who've strongly strongly,
- 1:05:17strongly disagree with him and he challenges them for like a
- 1:05:19good hour and that's really worth watching as well.
- 1:05:21Danny Hayfong is also. Really good.
- 1:05:23He also he also like interviews similar individuals.
- 1:05:27I think once you click on YouTube, yeah.
- 1:05:29Yeah, yeah, I know. Yeah, I think once.
- 1:05:31Once. Once.
- 1:05:32You click on one of them, you'll kind of get a spiral of.
- 1:05:34Yeah, yeah, or, or like just. For me, it's like I kind of look
- 1:05:38at the guests. If I feel like the guests have
- 1:05:39strong and powerful ideas, I kind of latch onto them and I
- 1:05:41just search their name and like, I just binge watch their videos
- 1:05:43because I'm like, they get it. Like you can kind of tell when
- 1:05:46someone gets it. So that's as far as politics is
- 1:05:48concerned, Yeah. And just understand that this is
- 1:05:54a war of morale and it's really important that we get the truth
- 1:05:57out to everyone and that we all play a role in this jihad to be
- 1:06:00in. This is actually a fatwa said I
- 1:06:02haven't he was like it's worship to take part in this
- 1:06:06mobilization or Tabia for to being and clarifying the truth
- 1:06:10because the destiny of nations rely on it like look at the
- 1:06:13situation in Syria like the toppling of Syria and the HTS.
- 1:06:17I'm sorry rats coming into power.
- 1:06:19That's that's what I'll call them was in no small part due to
- 1:06:22the ignorance of the sleeping Oma.
- 1:06:25I argue yeah, and never to. Underestimate the power of
- 1:06:28daughter. Ever, ever.
- 1:06:30The matter for the Quran of the Alabama and the promises of God.
- 1:06:34Yeah, yeah. This is all a lot, a lot of it
- 1:06:36falls in line with what we what we read in the way art, the
- 1:06:40times of the hall, many of the signs.
- 1:06:43And of course, without trying to to get too much into that, but
- 1:06:46you know, these things are expected.
- 1:06:48We pray that we can only, if anything, be a part of those who
- 1:06:51stand up for the right 'cause the cause of the last Palms
- 1:06:54Island. You know who's chosen Imam and.
- 1:06:57If I can just ask 11 last brief thing is that because I think
- 1:07:01there's been a lot of clarity from your from your end and for
- 1:07:04me and myself. But there there could be someone
- 1:07:06listening now who for any reason hates Iran or for any reason
- 1:07:12doesn't understand what's happening between Palestine and
- 1:07:17the occupied Palestine, which is the state of Israel.
- 1:07:20Like they're really confused. They, they're not even Muslim.
- 1:07:24They say we want everyone to have peace.
- 1:07:26They say we want, for example, the Israelis to live in peace.
- 1:07:30And the Palestinians, they're confused.
- 1:07:32They don't know what the truth is.
- 1:07:33They don't know, they don't know Islam.
- 1:07:35They don't know Imam Hussein, They don't they don't know who
- 1:07:37Amira no maninas. They don't know the stances,
- 1:07:38they don't know the laws of Allah.
- 1:07:40They don't know nothing. What would you say to a
- 1:07:42non-muslim to give them clarity on what's happening now,
- 1:07:45especially now that it's extended to Iran?
- 1:07:47This war that started in and we see them marching.
- 1:07:51They want freedom, they want justice, they they want
- 1:07:53oppression to end. But now they see Iran and
- 1:07:55they've lived this last 40 years of hearing on the news.
- 1:07:59Iran is X, Iran is Y, Iran is Z. This is something new to them.
- 1:08:04How would you tell them to clarify some of the
- 1:08:07misconceptions, even just one, just to give them clarity.
- 1:08:12It's a really good. Question Oh my God, do you know
- 1:08:15what this is going to sound unconventional, but I think
- 1:08:18studying the Quran in these times so powerful.
- 1:08:22I remember that was my dad told me the story once a group of
- 1:08:25Algerians, they actually became Shias once they read an ayah
- 1:08:29from the Quran that said something about those who like
- 1:08:32the the mutmaneen are the ones who are in the greatest state of
- 1:08:36Adawa to their horde, which translates to Benny Israel,
- 1:08:40which translates to the Sahuani movement today by extrapolation.
- 1:08:44And they said that if that means like, and then they looked at
- 1:08:48that and they said, so who is the greatest ado to the Yehud or
- 1:08:53let's say the Zionists? And they looked and they saw the
- 1:08:56statements of someone like Netanyahu saying Iran, whatever
- 1:09:00that is. I want basically like that's the
- 1:09:02one that has an open mind, an open heart.
- 1:09:07A lot from the Quran can be extrapolated to what's happening
- 1:09:09in the political world today. And it's relevant like Islam has
- 1:09:12become indefinitely relevant and we are indebted in no small part
- 1:09:17due to the blood of Azza and due to the sacrifices that's given
- 1:09:19on the ground. And ultimately the time heed of
- 1:09:21the hedge is happening right before us, especially in this
- 1:09:24region. And we have to always see it
- 1:09:25from, I think that perspective as well, so.
- 1:09:28Thank you so much for everything.
- 1:09:29You are a thorn in the side of the oppressors and long may
- 1:09:32continue inshallah. And thank you so much and thank
- 1:09:36you everyone. If you are still with us for
- 1:09:38tuning into aftermarket. But we are going to be kind of
- 1:09:42cracking on with from next week getting into the Muharram
- 1:09:46season. If I'm going to be very honest
- 1:09:48with you guys, by the time the next week episode comes out,
- 1:09:50we've actually already recorded next week's episode in a
- 1:09:53previous week. So we didn't actually make a
- 1:09:55reference to the to this conversation in the forthcoming
- 1:09:58podcast, if that makes sense before we get the comments which
- 1:10:01slate us. But yeah, listen, continue the
- 1:10:04fight, continue your research, education, and of course, raise
- 1:10:07your hands towards the skies and pray for the horde of the Imam.
- 1:10:11Ajallah to Aydafandra Sharif. And yeah, Charlotte, we will be
- 1:10:15back next week with another fantastic conversation.
- 1:10:17Thank you so much, Sister Batoul.
- 1:10:19Thank you very much at home. Thank you, Zain Ali.
- 1:10:21Take care. Samuel Alaikum.
