- 8:22[SPEAKER_18]: Yeah, restaurant part whatever it is and look and look at the fence.
- 8:25[SPEAKER_18]: I don't know what it is.
- 8:26[SPEAKER_18]: Is there anybody who's driving over on massive street right there's between stewards and arsenal And you can tell me is there something I should go over there and see I don't know what it what it is, but if you're over there and see it or can go down that block whatever whatever's on there give me a call.
- 8:43[SPEAKER_18]: Um, I think it's going on a little breaking news and we don't like to do breaking news here because I'm not a registered news man, but Couple of candidates are now surfacing for the Republican nomination to replace one Elise Stefani
- 8:56[SPEAKER_18]: Assemblyman Robert Smullin has sent out invitations for an event Thursday at the holiday in John's town.
- 9:03[SPEAKER_18]: That's down on the word, is it's on the thru way, but he's an Assemblyman from down there Mr. Smullin is and he's going to run for NY-21 for the Republican nomination line.
- 9:14[SPEAKER_18]: People don't know him.
- 9:15[SPEAKER_18]: I don't even know if any local media will go to that.
- 9:18[SPEAKER_18]: And then Anthony Constantino, you remember him, the sticker mule.
- 9:23[SPEAKER_18]: He has an event schedule for Monday in Amsterdam, New York, which again is a long-to-hudson or excuse me, the Mohawk River, Mohawk, and there you go.
- 9:36[SPEAKER_18]: Well, what do we got going here?
- 9:43[SPEAKER_18]: Hmm, I think I'm again.
- 9:46[SPEAKER_18]: Uh, let's see, where the Yankee's signing.
- 9:55[SPEAKER_18]: uh... codi belliger uh... okay twenty-eight-two million over seven years can you imagine making that kind of money why would you go out and gamble or something stupid yeah i mean something you get you kicked out of the game like that um... whatever
- 10:14[SPEAKER_18]: Anyway, those two candidates, we don't know if anyone else is going to seek the Republican nomination.
- 10:19[SPEAKER_18]: Again, the City of Watertown is not in NY-21, but very close to it, and certainly Mr. Fonic is about a North country representative for going on 12 years now.
- 10:29[SPEAKER_18]: So, small and constant, you know, I don't know, can one of them win a Republican primary and beat Blake Gendaby in the Lisbon Farmer?
- 10:39[SPEAKER_18]: Yeah, two least men farmers who's rust family and there's Blake Jen to be in one of them has a shot at going to Congress.
- 10:48[SPEAKER_18]: The other one gets to do podcasts with me, I guess.
- 10:53[SPEAKER_18]: There you go.
- 10:55[SPEAKER_18]: So life, not without virtue or gratification, whatever.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_18]: A lot of things from the city council meeting last night, a lot of things.
- 11:05[SPEAKER_18]: There was a city manager's contract was discussed in the back room.
- 11:08[SPEAKER_18]: You know what there are, my understanding is, and this is not, this is a pot of information and belief there.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_18]: I don't know what the salary they're proposing, but I don't agree with this.
- 11:25[SPEAKER_18]: And I'm going to get blowback from it.
- 11:27[SPEAKER_18]: But medical benefits are great.
- 11:31[SPEAKER_18]: And if you get them with a job that's great, and you should be thankful, whatever that job is.
- 11:35[SPEAKER_18]: And if your family gets them too, for instance, but I don't think because you should take a job and someone else in your family is like a school teacher, so you're on that medical plan, I don't think that you should get compensated for what the city or whatever would have spent on a plan for you.
- 11:56[SPEAKER_18]: 25,000 year, whatever, I just don't believe in that.
- 11:59[SPEAKER_18]: You're fortunate to have what you have and leave it at that.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_18]: Or if you're on Medicare, whatever you're on.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_18]: But you're seeing that now where you get bonuses.
- 12:09[SPEAKER_18]: If you have a spouse who's on a plan.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_18]: And like, you know, we've got situations where, you know, if you have like a senior police officer on a firemen and they both are entitled to city health insurance, but one of them kind of say, well, I'm going to be on the other one's plan and you give me money, the equivalent now, you should be thankful for what you have in life and I don't think we need to further that kind of message by cutting that kind of deal with the city manager.
- 12:35[SPEAKER_18]: And again, he's a great guy.
- 12:38[SPEAKER_18]: Yeah, but no, if that's what they're debating, I think it is.
- 12:43[SPEAKER_18]: I don't know why they want our income deal before the end of the year.
- 12:47[SPEAKER_18]: I always have to, I wish, tried Mr. Olney.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_18]: I'll see.
- 12:52[SPEAKER_18]: You're going to vote for it, aren't you?
- 12:54[SPEAKER_19]: He says, well, yeah, probably, well, he tried to put you in jail.
- 12:59[SPEAKER_19]: Oh, no, I know, but it says, like, come on, man, then get a pass at the first of the year five, nothing anyway.
- 13:05[SPEAKER_18]: They don't need to worry.
- 13:08[SPEAKER_18]: So that's one of the issues last night then it was the bond ordinance.
- 13:14[SPEAKER_18]: You know, they want to do that Renovate the courtroom and do all that first floor work at City Hall.
- 13:19[SPEAKER_18]: Well, it's $7.3 million.
- 13:21[SPEAKER_18]: They accepted the bids But counts been only Voted against unanimous consent Resolution which was needed in order to get the bond ordinance before the council.
- 13:33[SPEAKER_18]: In other words anytime you have an ordinance you have to pass a resolution for unanimous consent in a reason for its obvious
- 13:39[SPEAKER_18]: If one person has questions or concerns, they can delay it for, it's all the next meeting.
- 13:43[SPEAKER_18]: So it's not a bad thing.
- 13:45[SPEAKER_18]: And then you have also got a wonder, can they pass the bond ordinance on December 1st because Ben shown voted against accepting the bids.
- 13:54[SPEAKER_18]: You think that's too much money.
- 13:55[SPEAKER_18]: So a few votes against the bond ordinance.
- 13:57[SPEAKER_18]: And so it is only, then they got away to January to pass the bond ordinance.
- 14:03[SPEAKER_18]: for the 7.3 million.
- 14:05[SPEAKER_18]: I don't know what's going to happen.
- 14:07[SPEAKER_18]: My guess is Mr. Show and Caves are only Caves a lot, you know what I mean?
- 14:12[SPEAKER_18]: I talked to him, I try to get his viewpoint, but he's come on.
- 14:16[SPEAKER_18]: Uh, what else is going on?
- 14:18[SPEAKER_18]: Mr. Only wants to have homeless lockers.
- 14:22[SPEAKER_18]: Because it's tough on the homeless, you know, they got their carts, shopping carts, and what do they do with their stuff?
- 14:27[SPEAKER_18]: at night.
- 14:28[SPEAKER_18]: I assume what you'd want to do.
- 14:29[SPEAKER_18]: You could take like that garage over on a main avenue or someplace like that and just put some two by fours and chicken wire just build some you know cubicles put a hash on it in a padlock and the homeless can, you know, keep the stuff in there and then take it out as needed.
- 14:46[SPEAKER_18]: Yeah, a good idea.
- 14:48[SPEAKER_18]: Kind of help them out.
- 14:49[SPEAKER_18]: Help them out.
- 14:51[SPEAKER_18]: Help them out.
- 14:57[SPEAKER_18]: Somebody texted and said they want a band shopping cart so no that's all I don't think that's practical Well, then the subject bicycle registration came up to only wants that I thought we had bicycle registration in this town Good afternoon Ryan the air
- 15:23[SPEAKER_22]: Number one is really worth 73 million out of 7.3 million out of stop take the first floor of the city hall, I mean, I don't know, but
- 15:35[SPEAKER_18]: they agreed to do whether there was ideally there's work that needs to be done there but i don't know exactly what they're doing probably new fancy chambers for the judge and then that you know these judges did you know that they're not satisfied with having an office or chambers as they come they have to have a robo room a separate room where they put the robot oh my god just put a hook on the wall your honor you don't need all that holy anyway
- 16:05[SPEAKER_22]: uh... what i want to talk to you about really misdemear is uh... uh... uh... mystophonic now uh... she's announced for governor relava lease uh... we're supporting her uh... local uh... now uh... shifted more thoughts about the i understood uh... which i think makes it a better opening for mystophonic which i mean you know i don't know i mean i hope people
- 16:36[SPEAKER_18]: But I was, you know, had somebody sitting at somebody who's mentally impaired.
- 16:44[SPEAKER_18]: You know, the TVs are on at the bar and he sees a headline up there and he says, who's Epstein?
- 16:50[SPEAKER_18]: I said, oh, I don't even explain that.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_18]: So, you know, most people don't know who my amdami is up here.
- 16:56[SPEAKER_22]: I think both of them do right now, what they do.
- 17:05[SPEAKER_22]: Really?
- 17:07[SPEAKER_18]: you know, I hate to say it, but sometimes sometimes the reason that people like Mr. Momsdami or the lady out in Seattle or wherever they win and then we all say, well, that was a fluke and I don't like that.
- 17:24[SPEAKER_18]: They wanted them.
- 17:26[SPEAKER_18]: I mean over a million people voted for Mr. Momsdami in the city and Republicans like to say, well, I should not want America once, I sometimes I think that's what they do
- 17:39[SPEAKER_22]: Well, in fact, there's nearly 50% both of the against him.
- 17:44[SPEAKER_22]: If you could buy him, call him on sleeper.
- 17:46[SPEAKER_18]: But that's true of most any election.
- 17:49[SPEAKER_18]: I mean, there's always people who've already against you.
- 17:53[SPEAKER_22]: Well, there was a lot of people, and then, you know, when you combined sleeper with the quote, what was very close.
- 18:01[SPEAKER_18]: No, okay, I'll buy that, but I think, I think what you're going to see with Mr.
- 18:08[SPEAKER_18]: Um, already there's legislators in Albany who are pushing his tax agenda, and that's going to back vocal into a corner because she'll have to decide whether the veto or not, and whether she can sustain a veto, and then you're going to have a situation with Antonio Delgado, the Lieutenant Governor running against sort of possible primary, mom-dami, you know, I don't see him ever endorsing Hockel in returning the favor.
- 18:38[SPEAKER_18]: You know, they're feeling pretty heavy.
- 18:39[SPEAKER_18]: They may try to swing their troops to Delgado and knock her out.
- 18:45[SPEAKER_22]: Well, I don't know.
- 18:45[SPEAKER_22]: She endorsed them.
- 18:47[SPEAKER_22]: And now I didn't see the particulars, but I...
- 18:51[SPEAKER_18]: But the key is he has not endorsed her.
- 18:53[SPEAKER_22]: Oh, well.
- 18:58[SPEAKER_22]: And...
- 18:59[SPEAKER_22]: But I heard that her policies are swinging more towards him.
- 19:03[SPEAKER_22]: She's...
- 19:04[SPEAKER_22]: I guess she's also...
- 19:05[SPEAKER_18]: Well she is now she did you know she announced that the state's not going to enforce its electric furnace law and they allowed a gas pipeline to go in that environmental has had at block so I mean she's trying to do a couple things for the for the sensible people and then she's going to indulge the far left as well but she's going to have to agree to greater rent control free buses.
- 19:29[SPEAKER_22]: and uh... all sorts of things in the city free childcare for everybody uh... she's going to have to endorse all of that through higher taxes well i have to see or the she came out against uh... three passes i think because uh... that's uh... that's uh... uh... that's uh... that's uh... that's uh... that's uh... that's uh... that's uh... that's uh... that's uh... that's uh... that's uh... that's uh... that's uh... that's uh... that's uh... that's uh... that's uh... that's uh... that's uh... that's uh... that's uh... that's uh... that's uh... that's uh... that's uh... that's uh... that's uh... that's uh... that's uh... that's uh... that's uh... that's uh... that's uh... that's uh... that's uh... that's uh... that's uh... that's uh... that's
- 20:01[SPEAKER_22]: Well, I was interested in really, what do you think about the sapphire in general running for government?
- 20:07[SPEAKER_22]: My first take was not a good idea for heart because I think she'd be a good vice-presidential candidate.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_22]: Well, it's not as good for her to have a loss on her record at this point, you know?
- 20:21[SPEAKER_18]: No, it isn't, but I think the problem was she was looking to move on.
- 20:28[SPEAKER_18]: Trump won a point nominated her to be UN ambassador.
- 20:32[SPEAKER_18]: She was really looking forward to that job and then that rug got pulled because Republicans in the North country couldn't come up with a candidate to compete in the special election to replace her.
- 20:43[SPEAKER_18]: So she had to stay put.
- 20:45[SPEAKER_18]: And she decided to run for governor.
- 20:48[SPEAKER_18]: There'd been talk of that before too, but you know, I'm glad she is.
- 20:54[SPEAKER_18]: It's going to be a tough race.
- 20:58[SPEAKER_18]: you never know there's a new uh... sienna poll which shows it a little bit closer but still gives uh... uh... local a big edge so i don't know i find with sienna poll you have to take the democrat subtract about twenty points and then you get right you know i don't know that was trump two by the way that the beginning of this term now and then in the
- 21:21[SPEAKER_18]: Well, he nominated her right after election day.
- 21:24[SPEAKER_18]: I mean, it was quick.
- 21:25[SPEAKER_18]: So I mean, she was on that.
- 21:26[SPEAKER_18]: She was on that.
- 21:28[SPEAKER_18]: Yeah, because if she had become you and ambassador, then she's on a world stage.
- 21:33[SPEAKER_18]: She stays away from the Washington intrigue, which is always a good idea.
- 21:37[SPEAKER_18]: And she comes out of it with foreign policy credentials that would be very advantageous for national office.
- 21:44[SPEAKER_18]: So this
- 21:47[SPEAKER_18]: The governor's thing is risky politically, but on the other hand, the rewards are great too.
- 21:52[SPEAKER_18]: And New York has to do something.
- 21:55[SPEAKER_18]: These people are destroying.
- 21:56[SPEAKER_18]: I'm going to row with the state right now.
- 21:59[SPEAKER_18]: I mean, it's incredible what they do to businesses and individuals in this state.
- 22:07[SPEAKER_22]: Well, that's enough to tell me.
- 22:08[SPEAKER_22]: You know, it's something.
- 22:11[SPEAKER_22]: Look, I mean, the income
- 22:16[SPEAKER_22]: Anyhow, I was just wondering you've talked about that, I love to see I've got one there, but I think it's a risk for her politically, because it's a long shot for us to get prepared to become elected at this point with all the Mombani and with the other end by only on the Trump sentiment that's out there right now, you know.
- 22:40[SPEAKER_18]: Well, that may be, but we'll find out, I guess.
- 22:44[SPEAKER_18]: Okay.
- 22:46[SPEAKER_18]: All right, thank you so, sir, by the way.
- 22:48[SPEAKER_19]: Well, yeah, you can say you can sit there and say, well, you know, I don't know if she can win a New York city this It's not your pie hole.
- 22:57[SPEAKER_18]: Just get a hundred vote for it and get five friends to vote for a relative of wife a husband a kid a father a son, a name on under honkola rant Maybe somebody next door at cold workers.
- 23:09[SPEAKER_18]: Yeah, somebody your hunting camp was got a safe act sign in his lawn but doesn't vote
- 23:15[SPEAKER_18]: get some of these people out to vote and maybe she can win yeah you know if if uh couple hundred thousand upstate voters all got five people out to vote make a difference but they don't
- 23:47[SPEAKER_18]: some of the text and the city manager wants another two-year term you should forfeit medical bet what you can they're available i just don't think you should be double paid for them if you're getting the elsewhere and a five-thousand all i caught in pay for the bill said no i'm sure yeah i'm sure he take that offer uh... but
- 24:14[SPEAKER_18]: When I got to negotiate that here, I don't know why the council's so secretive on it, too.
- 24:20[SPEAKER_18]: Originally, it was thought it's contract, the original contract was null and void because it violated the public offices law, because it was not a carve out for non-residency for that office.
- 24:33[SPEAKER_18]: But the city attorney has since opined as the attorney's do.
- 24:39[SPEAKER_18]: And in case like that, the attorney's going to do with their client wants and said,
- 24:44[SPEAKER_18]: existing one still valid.
- 24:46[SPEAKER_18]: Well, if existing one is still valid, then what happened to the residency clause in it?
- 24:51[SPEAKER_18]: Why isn't that being enforced?
- 24:54[SPEAKER_18]: But they've got it, you know, they got it going two ways here.
- 24:57[SPEAKER_18]: And they're going to pass another two-year agreement.
- 25:00[SPEAKER_18]: There's no doubt about it.
- 25:01[SPEAKER_18]: But, hey, they don't have to.
- 25:03[SPEAKER_18]: You can still employ somebody without a contract and be if the original contract is still enforced, why aren't the provisions being enforced and they're not.
- 25:13[SPEAKER_18]: Good afternoon, you're on the air.
- 25:16[SPEAKER_20]: Oh yeah, with the city manager, one, he should absolutely live in the city and two, he should be happy with what he gets from the city to expert.
- 25:26[SPEAKER_20]: And if he wants to rule things on city to experts, he should have to live in the city and on race with Mrs. Hulco and Mrs. Spanike, Mrs. Spanike doesn't have a chance.
- 25:38[SPEAKER_20]: Mrs. Hulco will be Mrs. Spanike.
- 25:41[SPEAKER_18]: Okay.
- 25:42[SPEAKER_18]: Thank you.
- 25:43[SPEAKER_18]: Thank you.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_18]: All right.
- 25:44[SPEAKER_18]: Well, that's certainly very possible.
- 25:49[SPEAKER_18]: Um, any number of things could happen next year.
- 25:54[SPEAKER_18]: So, I don't know.
- 25:57[SPEAKER_18]: Hey, for our friends who are in the eastern part of the county out Black River Carthageway, what do you think of the two candidates running for Congress?
- 26:04[SPEAKER_18]: You're going to have to vote in that race.
- 26:07[SPEAKER_18]: Yeah, people of Louis County are Louis County friends you you voted in Y 21.
- 26:11[SPEAKER_18]: Where do you think of it this small one guy?

- 26:28[SPEAKER_18]: They should get Liz droider run, she was a good candidate, dust, don't eat, take dohini off the shelf, dust them off, get him to run, but this small guy, you know, he did like a test James, he got caught back in 2018 or 19 and he was charged.
- 26:49[SPEAKER_18]: was a felony at the time, but it was plea bargain down to just a violation or misdemeanor something lesser.
- 26:56[SPEAKER_18]: But anyway, the allegation was that he had taken veterans' exemptions on homes at weren't his primary residence.
- 27:05[SPEAKER_18]: And you know, you said, that's okay.
- 27:07[SPEAKER_18]: Test James, you know, she's kind of, you know, fudge things a little too weak.
- 27:10[SPEAKER_18]: You know, everybody fudge his things.
- 27:12[SPEAKER_18]: And that kind of stuff.
- 27:14[SPEAKER_18]: But it was against a law.
- 27:15[SPEAKER_18]: So he had to, now, will Democrats make a big deal of it.
- 27:19[SPEAKER_18]: Yeah, but I don't think most people care about that stuff.

- 33:45[SPEAKER_19]: Yeah, yeah, what a great idea.
- 33:48[SPEAKER_18]: Lockers for the home.
- 33:52[SPEAKER_18]: You'd need, how many homeless?
- 33:53[SPEAKER_18]: There's like 150 of them.
- 33:55[SPEAKER_18]: You'd need a big place, yeah.
- 33:57[SPEAKER_18]: But there is space within the city.
- 34:00[SPEAKER_18]: Did you get put something like that up?
- 34:05[SPEAKER_18]: Ugh.

- 34:45[SPEAKER_18]: That's why I thought right across from the new homeless building on Mayan have.
- 34:49[SPEAKER_18]: We can get a grant from the IDA or something and put those lockers right in that building.
- 34:56[SPEAKER_18]: Yeah.
- 34:57[SPEAKER_18]: Great idea.
- 34:59[SPEAKER_18]: Well, let's see what else is going on here.
- 35:01[SPEAKER_18]: Hmm.
- 35:10[SPEAKER_18]: Well, no, not much else going on.
- 35:14[SPEAKER_18]: Okay, if you've got any thoughts about any of the issues, somebody says, I think homeless lockers would just be drug and trash storage and would be broken into by other homeless.
- 35:27[SPEAKER_18]: They'd look okay for about two days.
- 35:30[SPEAKER_18]: Well, how long do you think those apartments on main avenue are going to look good?

- 39:19[SPEAKER_18]: Hmm.
- 39:22[SPEAKER_18]: Uh, somebody checks in real nice, she waits for the holidays to start closing prisons.
- 39:27[SPEAKER_18]: Well, it isn't going to matter.
