A Saskatchewan auto parts shop lost $20,000 in power tools after falling victim to a credit card scam targeting transportation equipment businesses across the province. Fraudsters used fake cards, and by the time the business noticed the fraudulent charges, the goods were already gone. Over a dozen companies have been hit, with losses nearing half a million dollars — and similar scams are surfacing in other western Canadian provinces.
